LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! The location was TOP NOTCH!!! That was the absolute best thing about staying here. The views were absolutely gorgeous, and the proximity to Pensacola, Fort Walton and Destin was super convenient, only about a half hour in each direction. We did activities in each city every day and it was nice that it wasn't a long drive back to the hotel. It's also superbly convenient to the bridge to go across the Sound to Navarre Beach and pier. We spent some time there as well. There are lots of great restaurants for breakfast/lunch/dinner in all price ranges, and sno-cone & ice cream spots REALLY close to the hotel. The staff was really friendly! I didn't catch anybody's name, but they were all really nice! We stayed in waterfront room 105 for 5 nights, so it was a super easy few steps to go out and sit in the great adirondack chairs outside our door right by the waterfront. We really enjoyed sitting out there and watching the sunrises AND sunsets (I was excited we could see both!), and watching the funny fish that kept jumping out in the water. I had a front row seat to a big Heron catching his breakfast just a few feet away one morning! There were cute little lizards running around. We were always able to find parking close to the room. I'm not sure we would have loved it as much if we had stayed up on the other floors. Seems like it would have been a much further walk, and we noticed a few people standing by the railing upstairs smoking outside their rooms and could occasionally smell their smoke down below. I wasn't expecting the burs in the grass, but was really surprised that they were all in the sand as well - our flip flops were totally covered in them walking over to the beach behind Deweys. We learned really quick to keep our shoes on, which wasn't a big deal, just a good thing to be aware of. We ended up not going swimming in the water bc we were worried about stepping on all the burs barefoot. But there were lots of kids playing down in the water and on the water obstacle course next door, so it might have been fine in the water. The pool was PERFECT. Nice and clean, perfectly heated temperature was like a nice warm bath, great size. There were lots of lounge chairs and tables with umbrellas. I loved the music, lots of Jimmy Buffet and Kenny Chesney, it was the perfect enhancement to a beach vacation. All the colorful lights at night, and the fire pits made the ambiance extra special. My biggest complaint would be the comfort of the beds. We had a room with 2 queens, and the one I slept on felt like it was tilted almost, or maybe just had a pretty bad sunken in spot on the left half? It WRECKED my back every single night to the point that I had to go to the CVS up the street to buy pain reliever. I considered maybe going to buy a pillowtop mattress cover at Walmart down the street, but didn't really have the extra money. Full disclosure though, I'm 51 with low back problems, so it doesn't take much for this to happen! My 10 year old daughter didn't have any complaints about the beds. I'm sure they're probably just fine for most folks! The rest of the room was great though! Everything worked. Good Wifi, was able to do a zoom call in the room with no issues. Good sized mini fridge. Nice big TV with DirectTV, I was able sign into my Netflix and Prime accounts with my phone (I wasn't able to sign into Youtube for some reason though). I was very pleased that the AC wasn't obnoxiously loud like you run into at some hotels, and there's an option to run the fan constantly, which was great for me bc I have to sleep with a fan for low-level noise at home. The room and the whole property was all clean. The towels were good. The pillows were good. The blackout curtains REALLY work, so I would suggest NOT to close them all the way if you want to wake up before noon lol! There were some very minor rusty/mildew spots in some areas, but that's pretty typical of a hotel room right off the ocean, so it didn't bother me at all. Aside from the beds, the room was well worth the price we paid in my opinion! My only other complaint was I wasn't thrilled with the complimentary breakfast. We planned to eat breakfast at the hotel every morning to save money on eating out, but ended up going across the street to WinnDixie and just bought cereal and milk and muffins to keep in the room for breakfast. There was quite a bit to choose from selection-wise, but the quality of the food just wasn't great in my opinion. There's a great bakery (Navarre Bakery) nearby, but get there early, they sell out of all the best stuff quick! The overall experience was great though! I would ABSOLUTELY stay at this location again!
I was in an accessible King bed room for a one night stay. The air conditioner couldn't figure out how to stay at the temperature I wanted so I was up and down all night because I was either freezing or burning up. Then when I went to take a shower two of my towels were yellow and the shower got water all the way into the other room where the sink is! I slipped on the floor and almost did the splits!
I love love love this place!! I have been here numerous times. I usually come to Florida 2-3 times a year and this is my main go to spot to stay. No matter how long I'm away the people at the front desk remember me & are always nice. I would recommend this place to anyone!!
The location was excellent, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was well appointed and tasty. Josh, the evening desk person was super friendly and very helpful pointing out local amenities. If we could give him a 10, we would!!
The Air Conditioning system went out in the Navarre VRBO vacation rental that we were staying in, so we were just grateful that the Best Western Navarre Waterfront Hotel had 3 rooms available for our 9 member family group. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is showing its age, but we were just thankful for cool accommodations during the muggy, hot Navarre summer. The breakfast offerings were okay, the pillows were not great, but the AC worked, and the location, views, and pool area are 1st rate! Thanks again for finding room at the inn for weary travelers!!
There appears to be mold painted over on the ceiling. Attaching a picture of ceiling. Lamp not working. Got new light bulb, still not working. Musty smell. Small square bed pillows. Mattress comfortable. Front desk guy was very nice. Pool area nice.
The place is on the waterfront as advertised. The entry to hotel is at a stoplight so getting in and out was not much of a problem. There are many places to eat and beaches to visit close by. Grocery stores nearby. Right next to bridge crossing to Navarre beach. Room was small but comfortable and a/c worked great. Will stay again if we go that way.
The grounds & lobby are beautiful but the room needs total overhaul as it's old, dirty, A/C not properly working with wires hanging out, roaches in room, stained comforter, bathtub & toilet stained, carpet is filthy, sheets do not fit bed.
We booked this room and had no idea what to expect since we had not been to the area before. I travel a lot so I am an excellent judge of hotels. This Best Western is in the perfect location for easy access to the beach. 5 minutes right across the Navarre bridge. Plus it sits right on the water with a beautiful view of the Navarre bridge and the bay. The staff is friendly and very accommodating for whatever you need. The pool is heated they have a grill you can use a fire pit they light at night with corn hole and a green space poolside area by the bay to hang out. The breakfast is eggs and French toast biscuits gravy potatoes bagels toast grits yogurt fruit cereal juice coffee tea, tons of choices and it's fresh and good. And the beds were super comfortable i slept so good! I can't say enough great things about this hotel and the staff! We will be back.
This Best Western is one of the best Best Westerns we have ever stay at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. Air conditioning worked well. Enjoyed the pool with our family. Great views---Ask for pool view--and if you can get room 325 the ice machine is right around the corner. We not only had a great view of the pool but also the bay/sound. There is a Winn Dixie right across the street. There is a restaurant (Dewey Destin next door. Just a great place to stay for a reasonable price. You can see the bridge over to Navarre Beach---the beach is very easy to access. Highly recommend this place.
The rooms still have carpet in them- the facility allows for pets in which me and my baby were “ate up” by fleas. Not once during our stay did we hear vacuums by the cleaning staff. The sink ended up flooding our floor due to a clogged pipe.
This hotel is a great place to take the family vacation. We've stayed there twice since we came to Navarre Florida. They have a lot of fun and enjoyable things to do there. Fishing in the lagoon, swimming in the pool, walking by the lagoon and seeing crabs and other sea life. Wade in the saltwater. It's wonderful.
Awesome little family hotel near the causeway. We had a handicap room, which was steps away from the parking, the room was easy to navigate and the shower was the most thoughtful shower we've had so far in a hotel handicap bathroom. The breakfast was a good variety. Coffee was always available and there were cookies in the evening. The pool was a nice size, and there's a nice little fire pit on the property. There's a great restaurant right next door, and the grocery store across the street. The street in front of the hotel is very busy, but there's a light with a crosswalk. We were able to walk across the causeway to the beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was much less expensive than nearby waterfront property. We were able to walk to three other seafood restaurants, besides the one next door. They were all fantastic. There are Beach wheelchairs available for free at the pier.
This hotel is very outdated; looks like it hasn't been updated in years. The breezeways were very dirty as well as the elevator. Needs a lot of pressure washing. Our room was very dirty; bathroom had visible dirt on floor and carpet. Bathtub had grime buildup. Mattress was old and lumpy. Do not stay here!!!
Very good location. Less than a mile from the beach. Rooms were very clean, Their breakfast in the morning included biscuits, gravy, ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, french toast, and numerous pastries and cereals. We got the waterfront room and the view was very nice. My only complaint would be the pool did not feel heated and while we were there for 4 days we had to get a new key made 3 times, they would just quit working.
Stayed 2 nights at the BW, perfect location excellent prices. Super friendly staff and very clean rooms
great spot, reasonably priced, convenient to everything. everything seems clean. the a/c seemed to struggle with the humidity, so things felt clammy. they have chairs outside for looking out at the bay, and a few tables near the pool. they have friendly cats who visit, but do not beg for food.
This Best Western Navarre Waterfront is super convenient to Navarre Beach - just a short bridge drive over. You might hear a lot of traffic passing by since this hotel is located right off of a main parkway. Staff were friendly and accommodating after requesting a different room due to the lingering smell of smoke. Rooms were worn, but have been maintained fairly well. (Cleaning could be more thorough.) Our king bed was very comfortable! And there's a decent free breakfast spread with common items like scrambled eggs, ham or sausage, potatoes, french toast, yogurt, cereal bar, etc.
We had the greatest experience! The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. The room was very clean. The breakfast was fantastic. We love the view, the heated pool, fire pit and beach area. The drive over to the public beach area was just right. We will definitely return in the near future!
Have a great trip and enjoyed the rest of the weekend with the family and friends in Florida I hope to see you soon I will be there in May of 2024 to see the ocean relaxing in the sand of the beach with my friend
Best Western Navarre Waterfront is a hidden gem! Staff went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The grounds were impressive with the pool, firepit, chairs by the water, and picnic/pavilion area. The water view outside our hotel window was wonderful! The breakfast was a typical Best Western breakfast. We had ham on Sunday which was a nice surprise. Location was nice with Dewey Destin Restaurant next door and Winn Dixie strip mall across the street. Go across the bridge and there were beautiful beaches. I would recommend this unique hotel.
Bathroom was not cleaned well from recent remodel. Sawdust, splinters all over floor. TV remote only changes channels. Won't turn on or off, no way to adjust sound. Nice view of water through dirty window. Dead Bugs in corners, after remodeling. How? 1st morning while in shower a man just walked in the room on my wife. I went to the office to ask about the remote and inform of problems. Was told someone put fist through tv, the man who entered room was probably maintenance and the room would get a deep clean. When we returned to our room for the day, no deep cleaning except poor attempt to clean a mirror, so smudged now you couldn't see yourself. We decided to not worry about house keeping the next day, put the do not disturb sign up. Housekeeping came to the door anyway, knocked and said they had to get in to see if the room had all its lamps and receptacles. Is lamp theft a problem here? And why didn't they do that one of the days they entered to clean? They certainly had time, since they didn't clean. Location is good, front desk nice. New hotel being built a few doors down . Hopefully its not owned by the same people as this one
The location is great and amenities/ service was awesome I thoroughly enjoyed my stay from service at checkin, breakfast in the morning and checkout. Staff was courteous and professional. I've stayed at this location couple times and NEVER disappointed
I love this place I've stayed here often. The location is excellent beautiful views of the water warm and inviting entryway. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The best place to stay in Navarre Florida
This is a great motel! The staff is amazing and very attentive! There are several restaurants near here including one next door! The motel has a great view of the Navarre Beach bridge/causeway! And the pool is so pretty!
Last minute New Year's Eve trip to Navarre was great! We usually stay at Best Western for quick trips to Navarre, and it has always been a nice place to stay. They have the best staff here! Always helpful and very friendly! Thanks! God Bless!
Breakfast was very nice with a great variety. All the staff we met were super nice and helpful. Our room was updated and comfortable. The light switches were not clean but that was only a minor issue.
The good: Quiet and clean spot right by the bridge. Lovely view of the bay with comfy chairs. Friendly staff, including three sweet cats! The not so good: The carpet set off my allergies and the breakfast was bland. Overall: We would definitely stay there again!
I made these arrangements to come to Navarre for our first anniversary. I called ahead and asked if we would be able to get in the room a little early that we would even pay. Allen told me that I just needed to come to the hotel when we got there and let them know we were in town. When we got there, the systems were down so we were not able to get in the room directly but she took my phone number and I got a phone call at 2:45 and was told I could enter my room at any time. This hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The room was average size but it was clean very clean. Everything worked and operated correctly. We stayed on the waterfront side so the view was amazing of the pier. The pool the fire pit, the ocean this place has it all. I grew up in Florida and I love to visit. This will be the only place I stay in the future. Met some other people there and they too were very happy with their stay and the pricing you will not be disappointed.
This was our 3rd BW stay on our road trip. Everyone very helpful, we will definitely stay at this BW again in the future. This place has an beautiful relaxing view, The breakfast & coffee was really good as well.
The owner keeps updating this hotel on the Bay, to our enjoyment. New comfortable beds and pillows, good towels, larger tv with a tv guide. The covered pavilion with tables & chairs allows you to sit outside even when it rains. Chairs are also set up by the Bay shoreline and are always in use, as are the ones by the fire pit. Breakfast has very large variety of hot and cold items. Extra seating is poolside. No long waits for the elevator at this "just right size" hotel. The entire staff is attentive and pleasant. We were told by several they love working there. Enough said!
The room was clean and in good condition. The staff was friendly and the location was easy to access. The local cat was a bit standoffish but that is to be expected. The room cost was reasonable as well.
Hotel was clean. Outdoor area was neat. Had a fire pit and Adirondack chairs. The staff was very nice and made sure we had anything we needed. The breakfast every morning was very good. The food was hot and delicious.
The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed visiting with her about the area, super cool fact we learned, Jaws 2 was filmed there. Our room was clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the fresh hot breakfast, the breakfast area had plenty of seating and was kept clean, the pool area was great lots of places to sit, plenty of towels and very clean, the view from the hotel is beautiful, they have a nice fire pit that was lit at night, they offer comfortable chairs outside facing the water. This hotel is located in a great spot, there are plenty of restaurants and shops within minutes some even walking distance, go across the bridge and you have access to beautiful beaches with free parking in different spots. We are defiantly coming back.
Staff was very friendly, room was fairly clean. Area was beautiful. Enjoyed a quiet evening around the fire pit. Breakfast was was one of the better than others. Saw quite a few heron and fish swimming near the beach. Quite enjoyable.
Fantastic views great accommodations very polity staff. Pricing was fairly acceptable. Right next to lots of easy accessible stores for your needs and wants. Rooms were very well kept by housekeeping!
This is a smaller motel than the big players so if you are looking for non-stop activity this may not be what you are looking for. There are several places to sit out by the water front or pool and enjoy yourselves.
Like the location. Need to clean the rooms better. The beds where clean but the walls where gross. Good amenities and great views. Lost of rusted fixtures. Breakfast was standard for the level of hotel.
We stay here whenever we're in town. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean. The next time we visit, we will definitely stay here. The restaurant next door is great, also!!
Just arrived home from Navarre today! We stayed at Best Western Navarre Waterfront and had a wonderful time. The hotel itself was a quiet and serene setting. It was clean and safe, all the staff was very kind, friendly, and extremely helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The location is fantastic because it's in the middle of everywhere we wanted to visit from Pensacola, Ft. Pickins, to Destin. There were so many things to do-but we spent most of our time on the beach. The Zoo, Pensacola Blue Angels show, flea markets, charter boat trip at Destin, restaurants, Colver's ice cream, walking the pier (4x), relaxing on the beach, and swimming in the beautiful clear emerald-colored water were just a few of the things we enjoyed during our visit. Although it rained each day-it only required a quick shift of plans yet not missing anything that we had planned. My husband and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that likes to visit new places but enjoy secluded and quiet settings when not on the road. This hotel is a jewel to Navarre!
A/C needs to be cooler, couldn't communicate with many staff members, some items like baseboard trim and corners in bathroom and phone needs some work and also walk areas outside or room and breezeways do not get cleaned well.Love a few of the staff here though. Breakfast needs to change up some it is the same thing every day and no real fruit options or non egg product.
We got room 305 with a Waterfront view. The staff was all friendly we saw dolphins from my room. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was delicious. The coffee was decent and I'm a coffee person. There's everything right there a Restaurant in walking distance Winn-Dixie across the street and ER if you need it drugstore on the corner And the beach is right across the bridge. I've been going to Navarre for years staying on the beach and when I found this little gem for when I want to get away, I will be going here from now on everything worked in the room lots of channels, music channels on the TV . You can rent jet, skis, boats and kayaks, right out back and fish from the property.
We had the absolute BEST experience! Hotel grounds are beautiful and so fun! The staff was so helpful and friendly, we used and enjoyed everything the hotel offered. Location was great, even a restaurant next door!
My stay here was very comfortable, and if you are not a rewards member, I suggest you join, as you get perks! My inland room got a free upgrade to a pool-side room at check-in! So nice to see the small beach and waterfront from my room. Room was very clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast options are basic, but you won't leave hungry. Staff was very friendly.
Great place for the money. View was amazing along with the firepit. The pool looked clean. Morning breakfast was great. Eggs sausage French toast all hot and delicious. Rooms clean bedding g clean. They only had us down for one rooms but very easily was able to accommodate us with a second room for the rest of our party right next door to our room. Definitely would recommend it. Only one night stay as we wait for condo to be cleaned.
I have stayed many times before. This is a family run hotel with a great location and staff. This hotel always does better each time than the last. The breakfast is excellent. The service is wonderful. I can't say enough.
Loved everything about this hotel, except the bed. The view was beautiful, all of the flowers were still blooming. The property was extremely clean. Room smelled clean and look really nice. All of the staff was extremely helpful.
Great facilities and location. I've been to this area many times and was glad to how much growth the area has had. Staff was very friendly and helpful There's lot's to do in the area and many activities are close by so you don't have to travel
Couldn't be beat for the value. Staff very friendly, easy to work with, very accommodating, fantastic breakfast, superior cleanliness, great waterfront view. Try it! You won't be disappointed. Very close to Destin, Ft. Walton.
Loved this Best Western. Easy check in and very clean. We had a poolside room on the third floor. We enjoyed restaurant next door and afterwards went to the fire pit. Had nice simple breakfast and ate outside by the pool. Would definitely stay again. It was a stop before going to Destin.
Love the location of this place by the water along with the amenities offered around the area. Not far from the beach. It's staff is great and friendly. Also, is a great place to watch sunrise in the morning.
Nice comfortable room with great views! Checked in late so didn't get a chance to go to the pool or enjoy the fire pit but we have a view of the water and we got to watch the sunrise from our room. Staff was friendly!
We found this hotel to be outdated. The waterfront was deceiving. They say you can walk along the beach but it's a strip of sand with the hotel on a small rise. The pool was filled with smokers. It was hard to swim in all the smoke.
We typically only stay Hilton, but took a chance on this Best Western and it was very clean, the staff was super friendly and the tv had a lot of channels. Walking distance to a great restaurant, beautiful view from our room, and had a clean pool. Definitely recommend!
On shore, easy access to Navarre beach...and easy access vs Destin airport. Weather, luckily, wasn't an issue....unless you don't like sunny days. Started and ended our week here...while the other 5 days we were in Gulf Shores BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...blah, blah.
We stayed for 3 nights. Alan was so helpful and nice at check in. It was very clean, excellent breakfast and overall a wonderful stay. Grounds are well kept and pool was immaculate. Views of the sound are breathtaking. Can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel. We will be back!!
My husband and I always stay at either a Marriott or Hilton Brand. We don't like bad surprises. When looking for hotels in Navarre, this hotel looked pretty good.. and it had great reviews so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed. In fact, we were really impressed! The lobby was open, beachy and overlooked a pool with a water view. The lady who checked us in was incredibly welcoming and recommended dinner options in the area. This hotel is on the water and about a mile or so from the beach. We are a young 62 and 71 and would have totally walked there had it not been raining. The location is fantastic with a restaurant across the parking lot and grocery store with several fast food restaurants across the street. You could vacation here, park your car and walk everywhere. If you are not a walker there is a great venue with live music and food along with lots of parking next to the beach. As far as the room, it does have outside entrance to each room but the rooms are clean with comfortable white bedding and a microwave, refrigerator and coffee in the room. We had their free breakfast buffet and it was good as well. Think eggs, sausage, etc. We will absolutely stay here again when back in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and nice. The view is beautiful and peaceful. I love that they have chairs all around the property for sitting and enjoying the view. The breakfast was enjoyable and plentiful. Located close to many attractions, stores, dining and just over the bridge to the beach.
We like this best western. Staff has always been very kind and helpful! Breakfast is so so. Not too bad.would like bacon instead of that sausage. But beds were comfy, rooms were clean. Close to everything.
Great location on the water. We've stayed a couple times previously and love the location. Close to stores, shops, restaurants, and water! This stay was a weekend trip. Room was clean, staff friendly and attentive. My husband visited the gym and recommends an updated to equipment. He is certain it's the same as when we started 5 years and even as far back as 10 years ago. Otherwise, you'll love the location.
Wow! What a perfect little getaway spot. Right on the water, close to the beach, great food within walking distance. This is the perfect spot for a relaxing vacation without all the beach frenzy… unless you want it. If you do, it's a hop, skip and jump away, the back to the serenity you need. Clean rooms, fabulous staff. We are already making our plans to return.
Our stay was nice, the view was beautiful. The location is great minutes away from everything. The biscuits and gravy were really good. The walls were a little thin and we could hear our loud neighbors...
Although it looks like a budget motel, with access to the rooms from outside, it was a beautiful property on Santa Rosa Sound. The cabana was great for the family reunion. The view from the hotel property was great for fireworks viewing, from Navarre's display to the private shows. My room was accessible with bathtub and therefore one of the larger rooms. It was clean, renovated, and with limited but friendly housekeeping. I would recommend this hotel!
We really enjoyed staying at Best Western Navarre! The room was very clean and the staff was knowledgeable and very helpful. Perfect place to stay that is close to the beach and several great places to eat. I highly recommend trying this hotel out!
Navarre Beach is a gem! We loved our stay at the Best Western. The view of the bridge that we woke up to each morning was incredible! We enjoyed visiting the nearby locations of both Destin & Pensacola, but found that we were anxious to return to the calm and relaxing Navarre Beach each day. We wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again in the future due to the location and the friendly and helpful staff. In addition, Navarre beach is one of the best we've ever been to....soft white sand, emerald water, and low crowds!
Little dated with outdoor entrances but nicely located near the causeway and many places to eat around the area. The bed was too hard and the toilet made a noise when flushed but was happy with the cost compared to other places in area.
Hotel was very clean and staff were super friendly. The location is perfect just minutes from the beach and from restaurants and shopping! The view is amazing and right next door to a restaurant fun kid friendly activities
Beautiful views of the inter coastal. Clean room, pool area and lobby. Staff were very helpful. Housekeeping gave us good service replacing our towels as needed. Breakfast options were the same everyday. Scrambled eggs and sausage Pattie's. Disappointed that there was no variety in the meat portion of breakfast for the 5 days we were there.
This hotel is in an ideal location and at an ideal price. It's the only motel on the water side of the highway and it is right on the water. We had an amazing room at the end of the complex looking out over the water. Wonderful. Some good restaurants nearby. A cute pool too. It was really a wonderful vacation spot. And very close to the bridge to Navarre beach (5 minutes to the beach)... a beautiful beach too!
Nice staff, clean room and great location. A Seafood restaurant is next door. Winn-Dixie and several fast food restaurants are across the street. The beach is across the bridge. The motel is on the bay.
If your looking for a reasonable priced hotel that has it all look no further! I was looking for hotels in Pensacola for a mini vaca. for me and my best friend to take that we could drive in from Lake Charles,La. when I came across Navarre Beach. Haven't ever heard of this beach I looked at reviews and found Best Western Waterfront to have the best reviews. What I didn't realize is this hotel is PERFECTLY located in beautiful Navarre Beach. The rooms are very nice, pool is heated with updated poolside furniture, plenty of tables with umbrellas or chairs to lay out by pool,a small area of sandy beach by the waterfront, fire pit lit at night with the breeze coming off of the water was so relaxing to just relax and forget about the stress we left back home. Walk next door to eat at the seafood restaurant or a few steps further to watercraft rentals. Need anything else ? Drive or walk across the street to the grocery store, McDonald's,Pizza Hut,Taco Bell all right there. No traffic to fight when your staying at this Best Western a 2-3 min. car ride can get you to the beautiful Navarre Beach with no huge crowds to fight. Navarre Beach is a sweet find and Best Western Navarre Waterfront is where you want to be!! I'm terrible with names but, I can say from the minute we walked in the door for check in we were greeted by the sweetest 2 young ladies, they gave us all of the info. we needed, told us where everything was, what time breakfast was ( speaking of- it's a full spread of food for breakfast, great food at that! ) , we were 2 ladies traveling alone but felt very safe, the rooms had plenty of towels. We did not walk past any member of the team including housekeeping without them greeting us and asking if they could get us anything. I can't imagine why anyone would want to be anywhere else than this hotel. It's beautiful location, great Team Members, and so much more are a win win deal. We are planning our vacation for next year already and will be right back at Best Western Navarre Waterfront.
Very friendly staff, very nice location, clean room. The grounds around the area were very clean and welcoming. The pool was very clean and heated, which was nice because of chilly weather on our trip.
This is our second time staying at this hotel and we were not disappointed! We were right on the water with food and jet ski/boat rentals right next door! The staff is so friendly and accommodating! We loved the fire pit at night and cooking on the grill by the pool! Such a great place to stay for the value. We will definitely be back next Spring Break!
I have stayed here approximately once a month for multiple days for the past year for work. Has a great location/view for the price and has multiple restaurants close and large chain grocery across the street. Property sits rights on the sound and Navarre Beach is right across the bridge. Navarre is great!
People checked in being loud late at night. And smoking Marijuana you got guy around tge corner was outside using cell phone talking loud talking to someone in jail or prison..anout when they get out its going to be lit..or something lije that. Smelled Marijuana on elevator twice
The heated pool was definitely a big hit with our family!! Love the view and atmosphere especially the beach area with the fire pit. Also loved the convenience of Dewey Destins next door and the Winn Dixie across the street. Very close to the beach!!
Probably the best bang for the buck in the area...has a resort feel to it and nice views of the bay. The rooms are very nice with large windows and the A/C has the option of a constant fan which is good for blocking out any exterior noise...the place has a higher end feel to it. Bed and pillows are very comfortable and TV has HBO. Breakfast is good...eggs, sausage as well as pastries and other cold options. Coffee is very good as well...it's a great option to avoid having to go to a restaurant for another meal. Pool is heated...looked nice, but didn't use as it was kind of cold out. There's a gas fire pit and a covered sitting area. Fitness center had an elliptical machine and a bunch of other equipment...kind of tightly packed into a room on the second floor...I didn't use it, but the equipment appeared to be of good quality.
One night stay. It's definitely an older motel but nice old vibe. There is nothing fancy but a basic accommodation and reasonably priced. Nice view of bay, firepit with chairs, heated pool, and complimentary coffee, which was extremely dark and strong and a very basic complimentary breakfast, which was not very edible to my palate. The front desk was polite and good customer service. Overall, if I was on a budget and needed a one - or two night stay, I would stay here again. Room and bathroom were your average motel size, if not a tad bit smaller. The location was close to restaurants and stores. If they were to remodel the rooms I would consider staying longer. The bed was also quite firm/hard and not appealing to my 42 year old back.
This location is ideal, beach front property with easy access to the bridge out to Navarre beach. Close to dinning and shopping. Everyone was extra friendly and helpful. The hotel offers unexpected touches, such as a fire pit area, corn hole, ring toss, and a covered patio area.
The property has indications of lack of proper maintenance in both the building itself and the furnishings. This indicates an unwillingness of the owners to invest in the property. Staff that I interacted with was informative and friendly.
I liked the location, close to Navarre Beach and beachy restaurants. Breakfast was hot and varied each day and was better quality than many hotels breakfasts. Room looked like the pictures. I smelled stale smoke in lobby, but room was fresh. Room appeared clean, but was in need of a good dusting. Pool area was pretty small. I would stay again if the price was still right.
Location. Staff friendliness Amenities. Property offerings. Close to quality eating establishments. Everything was fantastic. We enjoyed ourselves every minute. The fire ring. Waterfront. Even the wildlife contributed to making this stay truly memorable
We stayed here after the hotel we stayed in the few days before had gone up in rate and we just couldn't justify staying another night there. This place was very pretty, right on the water. We walked in and they got us a room right away. The front desk lady was very helpful and sweet. She matched the online price for us. Also after we got our room and walked up the stairs to the room, we saw the staff cleaning laundry and seemed very meticulous. There was a young man cleaning the parking lot, sweeping and picking up. It was a nice sight to see them taking care of their grounds. The front desk lady said the pool was heated and there were people hanging out there. The view is great!! We didn't really use the amenities of the hotel because we were out all day, but the room was very clean. The bedding was smelling fresh. The hotel seems safe. The only thing that made my review 4/5 was the fact that the rooms aren't really sound proof. We could hear a lot of sounds. Some moron kept setting their car alarm off TWICE at 4:00 AM, which is what woke us up. Then we are kind of awake and can hear a lot of traffic as it's on a busy road. I wear ear plugs to sleep and I could still hear the traffic when I was awake. I don't know if it would've woken me up if I wasn't already awake, but I did notice it. At that point, we just decided to get up and go home. Also there were a couple of odd sounds that woke me up, like an air conditioning from another room or pipes or something. We didn't eat the breakfast because we just wanted to head home. But upon checkout we grabbed coffee and I noticed they had some cereal, bagels, yogurt and fresh fruit. It seemed very sustainable for a light breakfast and was clean. The front desk lady was very nice and alert at 5 AM.
Nice hotel on waterfront rooms spacious and beds comfortable.bathrooms could have been bit cleaner. Good choice for breakfast and an excellent restaurant next door. There was a pool and spook towels available but we didn't use. Parking is free
Stayed on a Monday night. Extended Tuesday and Wednesday night. When I got bill in email, price had gone up $55 per night. I was not told this when I extended. Weeknight stays usually(?) stay close to the same in my Best Western experience. I am a Platinum member and stay in Best Westerns 12 to 15 nights a year or more so I know from experience.
Very clean, great view and short drive to the Gulf and pier. Awesome location, near everything. Seafood/ bar right next door. Little beach area and chairs on grassy lawn were perfect. Everyone was super friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
Was here for a very short stay. I love this hotel it's always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay and relax. A wide variety of restaurants are in the area. Also the area has grown a great deal in the last few years.
We stayed at the BW at the end of January. We have stayed at the hotel on previous occasions. We were disappointed because we brought several issues up with a desk clerk when we checked out and she was rather indifferent to them. Additionally prior to that, she did not ask "How was your stay?" The morning we checked out, my wife killed two cockroaches running across the floor by the bathroom sink. Additionally, the toilet in the room had a gasket that leaked, causing it to run throughout the night. It was loud enough to have us shut the bathroom door. We brought this to the attention of the clerk, she said the cockroaches sometimes come in when it's cold. She really didn't react to the toilet issue. We would have expected some kind of apology for the issues, rather than the response we received. It left us feeling not appreciated as customers.
The Hotel is in a great location, its on the water front with a very nice beach, setting area with an exceptional view. It's located in walking distance to most amenities. The lobby and room is up to date, clean and tidy, everything I wanted after a long day of driving. Most of all, the staff were friendly, pleasant and very helpful. I realy enjoyed my short stay. Outstanding sunrise this morning on the Gulf. Thanks Liz for everything. Hope to see you all again on my travels.
My boyfriend came down for a few days to fish and was so impressed with this hotel! He said the staff was awesome and his room was spotless! The free breakfast was delicious. View is amazing! He had to check out early because of snow and ice at home and they even reimbursed him. Can't say enough good things about Best Western Navarre! Just hope next time, I get to come with him!
We had looked everywhere for something affordable for a three day weekend and this was perfect. An awesome view across the sound. Older hotel but remodeled and worked great for my husband, granddaughter and I. They heated the pool so my granddaughter had a blast playing. Awesome breakfast and everyone was very friendly. We would come off of the elevator and the ladies working in the room washing and doing laundry would yell at us to have a nice day. I thought this was just an awesome way to start a new year! Thank you Best Western Navarre! We will stay again! Thank you, The Reed Family
From arrival to departure the stay was top notch. The owner and the staff were all more than helpful. The room cleanliness was immaculate and the property was so becoming with fire pits, comfortable reclining chairs to relax in whether by the fire pit,the pool or simply watching the beautiful sunrise or sunset over the Gulf of Mexico
Spent the weekend to celebrate my brother who lives near by. Enjoyed the views of the water and sitting by the fire pit as it was December. Friendly staff, our room was clean and loved the decor. Would definitely stay again on another trip love this area and beaches!
We stayed here December 4th - 11th 2021. This place was so great. The view from the room was better then I thought it would be, Love the outside fire pit that they have. Everyone that works there was so wonderful. The house keeper name Brianna was great. All the staff was so helpful. Even the weather was wonderful. We will be back again. Thank you for making my first time to Florida one that I will always remember,
The whole property needs updated. Beds were uncomfortable. Service desk people were very nice. Wouldn't stay again unless it is updated. Our room needed a good cleaning. Rug was old abs chair had a stain on it.
The hotel was recommended by a family member who just moved to Navarre Beach. We were very pleased. Having teenagers I was able to go to the complimentary breakfast at 6 am, enjoy terrific local roasted coffee & watch the TV. Staff were very pleasant
This is such a great hotel - from the super clean and comfortable rooms, to the beautiful pool and sound-front gardens, this is such a good value! Staff are super-friendly and the location is great. Hot breakfast every morning is included, and there are restaurants, grocery stores, and anything you need all within a short walk or drive...
We greatly enjoyed our stay here for our honeymoon. The view was amazing, and the location was so close to everything. We were greatly pleased with it! I puke recommend anyone to come there. Can't wait to be back next year with our family!
Friendly staff, nice rooms, and gorgeous views! We are "locals" but undergoing renovations at home so this was perfect for us. I would definitely stay here again. We know we'll stay at least a few more times.
Stayed 3 nights in October. Had a water view King bed. Bedding was sub par, and the bathroom was outdated with a vinyl tub kit, and a toilet that sat about 12” off the floor. Breakfast was the same every day for the three days we were there. Scrambled eggs, turkey sausage and pancakes, a few sweet rolls, yogurt and cereal. No fruit. Outside decor was nice with the beach, but the rooms and buildings need major work. They were painting the exteriors while we were there, but it's like putting a band aid on a severed finger. However, very close to the bridge to the beach and plenty of places to eat. If your on a budget, this will work, but keep an eye on the clientele as they can be sketchy. McDonald's across the street if you want a decent breakfast.
Navarre has always intrigued me as a traveler since it's close to everything you'd need. But the best thing is it's proximity to the beach. Get up in the morning and walk down to the office area for a nice breakfast. Then drive across the bridge to the many spots to stop and walk out on a beautiful white sand beach. After a day in the sun drive back to a clean room with a nice pool and play areas. It just doesn't get any better.
I was amazed at the quality and professionalism of all staff, from check-in to check-out. The view of the Sunset each night was spectacular. Older hotel, but we'll taken care of. Minutes from the beach and nightlife. Highly recommend this hotel.
Pros. The hotel is very comfortable and located in a quiet bay. It is nearby restaurants and convenient stores. The front desk staff is very helpful and has a nice attitude. The room is spacious with the necessary amenities. Cons. One has to get in the car to get to the beach. One cannot open the windows and there is not much privacy given that the window faces the outdoor corridor.
I would recommend best western Navarre hand's down!!!! Anything and everything about the experience was wonderful!!!! The room was clean, the view was awesome on sound side, and I cannot brag on the staff enough!
We checked in after sunset so we weren't able to see the beautiful waterfront until the next morning. Checking in was easy as I used my points for our stay. The front desk staff were very friendly. We'll stay here again if the opportunity arrises.
The staff, as always, were welcoming and helpful. Always stay here, have since 1995. Helpful with local things to do since Hurricane Nicholas came to town, museums, art galleries. We had a great time, considering the weather.
This hotel had so many roaches I was scared to turn the lights off! As soon as I would turn the lights off to go to sleep it's like they came from nowhere and crawled everywhere, I've never seen this before! I also stepped on a rusty nail in the pool and cut my foot. The pool was also cloudy and had like an oily feel to it. The area the hotel is on is beautiful and the staff are absolutely wonderful. This hotel was the only one out of plenty that I called that helped give me a room after a hurricane with a FEMA voucher and just let me pay what they didn't cover. If it weren't for the roaches, cement on third floor by room constantly wet from AC, and also very uncomfortable bedding ( not mattress ) I would give it a perfect rating. I wouldn't return because of the roaches though, I'm unsure if that's why my children and I are having stomach issues but its severe enough to where its possible.
The Navarre Waterfront Best Western had the best views. The pool was not heated but in July who needs a heated pool? The room was clean and looked recently remodeled. The staff was helpful and provided great service. It was a nice relaxing place to stay.
The outdoor amenities at this hotel makes you feel as if you are in a true beach island resort. An amazing property! An added bonus is to be able to walk next door for a great seafood meal. No worries about beach traffic and parking. I love this hotel and try to visit at least every couple of months.
This is a great location on the beach. The pool area is great and family friendly. Breakfast was the same over our weekend stay. Gym was small but lots of equipment to use. Located next to water sports place and lots of stores and food is easy to get to quickly.
What a great place! Clean, comfortable rooms, beautiful views, and a lovely outdoor area with pool, chairs on the lawn, and a great free breakfast! Everyone we met was so nice... Right next to the bridge to the beach, next door to Dewey Destin's Seafood Restaurant, lots of food delivery options, and right across the street from Winn-Dixie! I have always enjoyed staying here...
Our room view was amazing and it was the perfect location for vacation!! We enjoyed sitting out by the water and watching the kids look for crabs. The poolside was relaxing as well as the fire pit and gaming area. We will definitely be booking another trip and plan on staying here!!
I am big on reading reviews and I decided to give this location a try. It was very worth it. Only a short distance to the beach and several restaurants nearby. From Check in to check out everything was pleasant.
The location is great within a minute of the bridge that crosses over to Navarre Beach. An older hotel that has been surface remodeled to keep up with the times. Unfortunately its just surface, everything is so old. The price exceeds the accommodations by far. We paid $300 on a Friday night, and they wanted $450 to stay Sat night so we checked out. Never in my life could I pay that for a budget hotel that should be no more than $150 even in these times. The staff was very friendly and it was in a great location. Also the rooms were clean and beds were decent. Overall the location to beach makes it worth it but maybe stay during the week to get lower prices.
Great location. Staff was pleasant. Need more snacks for the midnight groups. Price for the room was not worth it. This a 2 to 3 star hotel charging a 5star pricing. If they would drop there price half to 1/4 place would be great. I would stay again if prices would drop just due to location.
Hotel was very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And of course, the pool was great and the view was beautiful! Activities close by (pontoon & jet ski rentals) along with restaurants in close proximity to the hotel.
Great location!! Hotel is situated waterfront on the Santa Rosa Bay with view of bridge leading to Navarre beach. Great outdoor atmosphere!! Highly recommend this Bestwestern to anyone visiting the area.
It truly is the people who turn a good hotel into a great hotel! We have stayed here many times and consider it our “happy place”. Everyone here is helpful and pleasant and will go the extra mile to make sure that you have a fun and relaxing stay! The rooms are fresh, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and they always seem to have a fresh pot of coffee on in the lobby.
Very nice stay, Everyone was very nice and friendly and it was very clean and always had plenty clean towels. Nice few of the bay. and very relaxing. .Enjoyed the restaurants being close by and a grocery store easy to get to across the street.
Overall good staff with clean rooms and friendly faces. The best Part how close you are to the Navarre beach, just cross the bridge. We would definitely go back and stay at that best western. Great!!!
I needed a few days away and I had stayed here before. Very clean, pleasant and convenient to the beach. Great mattresses!!! We were off season and it was very quiet. The hotel is within a few minutes to the beach and literally a block from the Navarre bridge.
13 years ago we stayed at the Best Western in Navarre for our honeymoon. We have come back 3 times over the past 13 years. We really like the convience of the hotel, it is close to the beach. It's a very clean hotel and the staff are very helpful. This year the weather was cold and raining and after spending a few hours at the beach it was wonderful to come back to the hotel and get a hot shower and rest.
Right on the Santa Rosa Sound, this was an excellent place to stay. Nothing fancy, nothing crummy, a nice, restful spot for a night. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. This was our first time staying at this Best Western (and we've been to Navarre Beach several times) and we'd stay again!
I have stayed in to many hotels so I am a little picky. This is the first time I have stayed in the pan handle. I booked in advance for a week during spring break and the price was more than fair. The hotel was full but it never seemed to overcrowded. Hotel is located on the Main Street so it is easy to find. Check in was smooth and VERY friendly. My room was clean, plenty of towels and I never ran out of hot water even while the hotel was full. This place is definitely kid friendly!! This is a great hotel for kids. I booked a poolside room as I had 2 teens with me. Perfect. If you want a little quieter try a different side. It was never very noisy though. Hotel has a restaurant/bar next door. Still kid friendly. The grounds had little places to sneak away and sit. The breakfasts were all hot and plentiful. Obviously had cold too. Hotel is on the water but bay side. You are less than 5 minutes from the main beach. I decided to leave a day earlier and they even refunded my money even though I didn't book direct. Do not pass this hotel by. You will not be sorry
POOR! The tub and sink drain were stopped up the entire time. The bed was so hard it felt like we were sleeping on the floor. There was hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor. I used a Lysol wipe on the floor it and came up filthy. The outside attractions were nice but we did not use the pool. The fire pit and the outside chairs by the water were nice. Close dining was very nice. Bridge to beach was very close. Not too many places for dining but the ones close were good.
clean friendly place, was located in nice spot, locals where nice, many restaurants in the area, pool area was very clean and private looking forward to staying again....from Wisconsin easy access to highways
This hotel is the perfect hidden gem! The care & dedication they put into the property & guests was refreshing. The employee's always had a smile and treated guests like family. The heated pool was kept clean & well maintained. The outdoor spaces were amazing. A covered eating space, fire pit area the outdoor seating area's were perfect. It was beautiful drinking my morning coffee with an unobstructed view of the bay.
As a manufactures Rep I travel enough to know a good hotel when I see one. Since Covid I haven't take a road trip in over a year. But Mom and I got our shots and hit the road for her birthday at SPRING BREAK ugh. But even though the hotel was packed we had a great stay. One, the owner and staff are really first class, you can tell they go out of their way to make sure their guests have a great time. Housekeeping keeps the rooms fully stocked and spotless. Two, the property is really well maintained, overlooks the bay, has a nice pool area, fire pit and covered pavilion.. Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool and the bay. It looked like everything was new and importantly a comfortable bed. Everything worked as it should, we couldn't ask for anything more. The nice thing is its location. 10 to 15 minutes across the bridge to Navarre Beach, right on 98 to get to all the shopping and restaurants and there is a good restaurant right next door to the hotel. We can't wait to come back here this fall after the crowds die down, but if you're looking for a great place to stay in this beach town, you won't be disappointed here.
This hotel is very nice. The front desk was very nice when checking in and providing excellent customer service. The pool was heated and the water was great. The restaurant beside the hotel has a good selection of seafood to eat. The beach isn't too far and we had a great view from our room.
Front desk personnel were helpful and provided courteous service. Room was clean. Great view and good access to causeway. We would stay here again. There is beach restaurant next door where you can get food and/or drinks. You sit outside or inside. Towels for the pool area were readily available. There is an elevator that serves the three floors
The property is being remodeled and I did not hear any complaints about the remodel. However, be aware that there is an airforce base nearby and you will hear them shake and rattle the place which will make you think your neighbors are elephants. Otherwise, I was impressed with the rooms and service. The pool view on the water at sunset is beautiful.
I am a DJ and was called to Destin to perform for Veterans. After our 3 day gig we traveled to Navarre to visit with friends. We called Best Western for reservations. the experience was effortless. while there I noticed my sound equipment was damp in my vehicle. The helpful staff arranged for me to set my equipment up in their gazebo near the pool to dry out. After drying we were allowed to play for other quest that evening. We played oldies and sang Karaoke around the pool and firepit. Everyone had a great time.
In order to get vaccination we traveled 7 hours from Englewood Florida. We try to choose hotels following CDC guidelines when making reservation. Despite talking a good story staff not following those guideline nor are many guests. When we checked in my wife asked clerk if she would mind wearing a mask. Her response was a sigh, let me find it and then never pulled up over her nose. Nice facility and very pretty location on the water. Old style motel is not our favorite as people can walk by and look into your room requiring closing drapes for privacy. Other then that very comfortable room with good furniture options.
We have never visited Navarre but so glad we stopped. This hotel is a really nice place to stay and right on the water. We had a waterview from our room with enough room on the porch to sit and enjoy an evening drink or morning coffee. The rooms are smallish but not crampy. There is an outside pool with plenty of lounge chairs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is hot and outstanding. They are in the middle of remodeling so the rooms should be even better than when we stayed. Don't miss this waterfront charmer.
Hotel is very dated. Walls were freshly painted, but they didn't even both to properly patch what look like there were holes. Just large ugly bumps in the walls. The plastic baseboards around the walls were gross and black and peeling from the walls. the bathroom floor was dirty. The bathroom itself was so tiny, you could barely get undressed in there. The bathroom itself was sad and dingy. The toilet made a screeching noise periodically through out the night. The shower was so tiny I couldn't raise my arms w/o hitting the wall and the shower head was about the same height as my head. I'm 5'8". The tub was hardly wide enough for a grown up to sit in it. Beds were new but very uncomfortable. Plush top, but way too firm. And they gave us only the saddest looking thread bare blankets on our beds. I actually went to Walmart and bout us comforters. It was in the 40's while we were there and those sad little blankets weren't going to do much. Considering that was what was there, i was afraid to see what they'd give us if I asked for more blankets! The hotel sits on a major road. We were kept awake all night by the sounds on cars racing up and down the road at all hours of the night, despite using 2 white noise machines at full volume. Very noisy hotel! On a positive notes, the hot breakfast was decent and the coffee was good (the stuff in the lobby. The packet in our room were awful) The staff was hit or miss on masks, as were guests. It says waterfront, which it is technically, but it's not on a beach. There's water at the hotel, but it's not swimmable to usable for anything except maybe boating or jet skiing I won't be staying here again. Not the best experience
Cute, water front property. Comfortable outdoor seating for relaxing, reading a book. Staff was kind and breakfast served was a nice start to our day. Convenient restaurant next door & short drive to the beach.
Nice place, great location, clean rooms, great service. I've been staying in this place the last several trips to Navarre and we alway have a great experience. The staff is exceptional and the beds sleep great. It's quite and no loud guests. I used to fish from the sea wall but unfortunately one of the hurricanes dumped sand there and now I can't and I really missed that. I really wish they would change their pet policy because I have always travelled with my dog and now I can't when I stay there.
Great water views. Most days, we pulled up a deck chair outside of our room and read. Very quiet. Centrally located. short, easy drive to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. Very decent hot breakfast. eggs, sausage, toasts & assorted carbs. Oatmeal and yogurt. hot & cold beverages. Staff kept it very clean. You had to wear masks and gloves to serve yourself. After each diner left, the lady was right there spraying and wiping the table clean for the next customer.
This hotel was clean, friendly staff, good location and had a decent breakfast. We loved that it was located right on the sound and had lawn chairs you could sit on to enjoy the view. Overall it is great value for the money!
I truly enjoyed my time at the Best Western Navarre, Florida. The internet connection for work was great; the location was amazing; and staff were super nice. I will plan on returning to the same location in the future.
Trying to get settled in on Gulf Coast. Most have been very helpful. It's a great place to stay. Have spent thousands of $ and many nights here. Only problem is a staff member who has a habit of talking over you. She tried to poke fun of the fact I am hard of hearing one night. Did not go well for her.
I am a Hilton person, so a little concerned when booked. But the staff and accommodations quickly made up for any concerns. All the rooms and public areas were clean and maintained. It is an older hotel, but they are constantly working to ensure the hotel is clean and safe and updating. The Staff was incredible. I don't think I ever saw any staff member sit down or pick up a cell phone (which meant they took their work serious) and they love working there! Was repeatedly asked if there anything we needed or they could do to make our stay better. Loved the firepit and the sandy beach area (being rebuilt due to Sally). Our view overlooked the sound and was so enjoyable to be able to relax and not have all the "tourist type things going on". It is a jewel and will definitely return.
Not sure how this place has 4.4/5 ratings. Maybe my expectations were too high. Room was very old and outdated. Stained carpets. Lamps didn't work. Standing water in the tub. Mildew odor. Not what I expected. Would not recommend or stay again and would question other reviews on Best Westerns. I wasn't expecting the Ritz but this was more like a 2/5 at best.
The place exceeded my expectations. All public areas were clean and well maintained. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were firm and the pillows were soft and more than adequate for me. The room refrigerator and microwave were both clean and working. The location is a short walk to several eating location's and just a short drive to many others. I spent a lot of time sitting in the chairs overlooking the Sound. We reserved the grill one night to cook out with no problems. The breakfast was limited to a bagged one due to health concerns, but it was offered each morning. The main beach and pier is just a quick drive over the bridge. The motel was spaced in such a way that you could get away from any crowds that could occur. There is a large pavilion for groups, a small sandy beach area, the pool, as well as the grassy area overlooking the water. There is even a fishing area beside the parking lot.
Scheduling mixup, 3 rooms, said they could get me a room on down the beach 15 - 25 minutes, they did but failed to honor the price at the original hotel rate . needless to say, I wouldn't pay $288.79 for a one night stay at any Best Western.
After Hurricane Sally, we had to rebook a different place to stay for a nephew's wedding. BW NW was it. They had electricity, beautiful, clean rooms, and the staff outdid themselves to find 2 more rooms for family and wedding guests! The pool was not cleaned out until too late for us to use because of mechanical issues but the views and the help with everything overshadowed that! Thanks to everyone, especially Evette (sp?)
Thank you so much for all your kind employees. I am so glad you are nothing like the Fort Walton Beach location. The staff was friendly and professional. We enjoyed the pool. The rooms were clean. No issues at all.
Initially planned on staying in Pensacola, but the friend I was visiting highly recommended I stay here instead. So glad I took the suggestion as it was the best room of my entire road trip! My room was on the first floor on the corner facing the water. I was literally steps away from water. There were colorful deck chairs setting out there. Really peaceful. The bridge to Navarre Beach is right there. There is a tiny beach area you can access from the hotel where kids were swimming along with a swimming pool. It's not technically the main beach, but it's water and was close enough for me. Really nice room. Pretty much my only complaint about the room was the fridge smelled like bologna and the microwave smelled like maple syrup. There was someone with a dog on first floor with a smoker. Lots of barking. Thought there were no pets and that my area was smoke free. Perhaps I was wrong. Learned there was a guest laundry which was great. The machines cost $2 each and both worked really well. Here's the only disturbing part. The front desk agent was really friendly when I checked in, but when I returned later to ask about the guest laundry she had been watching Fox News which was on in the lobby. I heard her tell someone on the phone that they don't make you wear masks at this hotel and they don't make you write 666 on your forehead to stay there. Why on earth would you say something like that??? They were showing a story about protesters in Portland and she told me she wanted to kill the protesters. WHAT???? The front desk agent literally told me she wanted to murder people. This is NOT ok and completely unprofessional. Seriously, you need to turn off the outrage media in the lobby. It's divisive and unnecessary. If the tv has to be on, put it on something everyone can agree on like local news or Animal Planet.
The place is basically in the center of everything in Navarre Beach. Just a bridge away (by car) from the beach. It is near the restaurants and in front of Win Dixie grocery store. So if you forgot something or need something to eat aside from McDonald's after 9p, it's convenient. The front desk staff are very nice , helpful and friendly. The room is a normal hotel room nothing exciting about it. It's something that you can just sleep in and then move on with your day. It's not something that you can pleasantly hang around and still enjoy it. No. The carpet is old. My personal opinion, it needs to be change. If you are particular with your pillow, you might as well bring one. Lol! There's is old and already "short" because again, it's old. The room is cleaned. Because of the carpet, it does look "dungy" Otherwise, at night it is surprisingly very quite. Which I really appreciate it.
We were charged a fee for smoking in the room, after we left. No one staying in our room smokes, at all. There were many guests smoking all over the property including many at the pool below our room. When we asked to discuss with management we were given the run around for 3 days, no response, and then the $225 charge posted to our bank account. I feel this is a stretch for the hotel to make a couple extra bucks versus having an opportunity to display excellent customer service. As guests who did not receive the breakfast that was "included", reused our towels and only asked for our trash to be taken out once, I feel as though we are being punished after being relatively easy going guests, considering the whole place smells like a dump.
They provide playpens for $4 extra if you need them. The beds are very firm. Even though the breakfast bar is shut down due to Covid-19, they still provide a small bag breakfast. Ours included a small water, muffin, granola bar, and a microwavable sausage wrapped in pancake (like a corn dog) with a small syrup. Coffee is still available in the lobby as well as in room. They have a little Navarre guide in the room which tells about local shopping, restaurants, entertainment, etc for your trip. If you don't have a beach view, you get beach paintings! Lol. The hotel is close to everything including the beach. They have a nice outdoor sitting and pool area with towels provided near pool, which stays open until 11pm. It's 3ft-6ft deep.
We have stayed at this hotel on our beach vacations for several years now. We always enjoy the clean room, convenience, nice pool area, and breakfast. However, I don't think we will be back. There was no housekeeping during our stay and the room wasn't very clean when we arrived. Upon waking up and turning on the lights there were roaches on the floor/wall. Also, the pool area wasn't as nice without the tiki torches. The breakfast to go bags were bad. They could have done much better. Breakfast was always so good with fresh fruit, etc. I know a lot is going on with COVID 19, but this hotel is not as much of a value as it once was. However, the views are lovely and the staff is friendly and helpful.
Wonderful, relaxing stay: Excellent staff; Great atmosphere; Heated pool; Small beach; Great view of the Santa Rosa sound; and Plenty to do within walking distance. The hotel is very close to the bridge leading to Navarre Beach and Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center. We will come back!
Very pleasant desk staff. Lovely views and very close walking distance to anything you need. Great restaurant next door ( Dewey's Seafood). Excellent mattress and a good, quiet nights sleep. Excellent water sports entertainment next door and very close walking distance to Navarre Beach if you wanted the exercise and didn't want to drive. A walk across the bridge has wonderful views.
For the location, this was a pretty good deal. If the room mostly pleasant, except for some large stains on the carpet. The outside area had a nice heated pool, cornhole boards, a sandy area with a fire pit and chairs for sitting out to look at the water. There was also a covered eating area. The beach was a 3-minute drive across the causeway. There was a Winn Dixie , dollar store across the street. The only negative I had was the housekeeper just came into the room after I got out of shower and didn't knock. We did tell the front desk clerk about it just to inform them they could be careful and didn't get an apology. Because of the virus, the breakfast wasn't good, it's just a bottle of water, an orange, and some muffins.
Great price for room. Room was very clean and A/C was great. Nice pool area on the bay. The sandy area with chairs and fire pit were very nice. Great experience. Front desk was super helpful and accommodating. We will be back.
We loved the waterfront view from our room. and the the grandkids loved the pool. So clean and when the pool lights come on a night it's great. The staff is wonderful and the rooms are beautiful. Would never think of staying anywhere else.
My wife and I have stayed here a few times. The hotel overlooks the sound. Beautiful views. Great food nearby. The place next door I can't remember the name is really good. TC's is also really good. The hotel is next to jet ski and other types of watercraft rentals.
Amazing staff, great location and nice room. Breakfast sand coffee was great, especially the staff! Rooms were spacious and very clean. Nice pool area, with a grill area, overlooking the sound. Comfortable Adirondack chairs to sit and look out at the sound.
Stayed out of town near a job for business. I know it is coming on Spring Break but to be honest the only reason I gave four stars is for the price, I wish the room doors were on the inside of the building. Even so near the road and many good shops/food venues, we slept soundly and woke up to a nice sunrise view. CLEAN rooms, thank you! There are a few chairs overlooking the water and staying mid week, we had a peaceful, solitary view out. The lady at the counter was so polite and helpful, and please pick yourself up a bag of De Luna Coffee for sale at the register (they serve it also). De Luna coffee is made locally in Pensacola and tastes GREAT! Breakfast was great and I was happy to pick up muffins and yogurt to go. A great stay all in all.
Wife and son and I stayed here after visiting a couple months earlier. While we stayed elsewhere before and was not pleased we chose this place and was not disappointed in the least. The room was clean and nice. The lobby and check in was painless and the gentleman that worked the lobby was helpful with everything. The breakfast bar had an excellent selection of food and drinks. You walk away hungry it's your own fault. The view was awesome and relaxing being able to set and look out over the water. If your in town then this is the place to stay. Also walking distance to a great place to eat right next door. Two thumbs up for best western in Navarre.
Went for Mardi Gras enjoyed the hotel, very friendly staff and a very good breakfast. Not to many good restaurants close to the hotel and due to road work it was a little hard to get in and out. But I would select this hotel again
Great location. Private Beach. Great Rooms. (Very clean and up to date)... They Served Us Mimosas at Breakfast... This is my hotel of choice every time I look to stay in Navarre... Thank you Ms. Vicki. (Hotel Manager) See you again soon!
Needed a one-night stay ahead of a condo stay on the beach. This place delivered. Nice rooms. Plenty of parking. Staff was very friendly. You can walk out and sit in chairs overlooking the harbor. There are fire pits and a pool. The hotel is right next to a Dewey Destin. Highly recommend.
We arrived after a 1900 mile drive and tired. The night clerk was kind enough to give us a room upgrade. The room was clean and comfortable, and a great view of the Sound. Mornings featured a full, and I mean full, delicious buffet breakfast of eggs, sausage, pastries, fresh fruit, juices, gourmet coffee, bagels and cream cheese. Vicky was a friendly host during our visit. I would return to this hotel as it is worth the few dollars more than Days Inn across the highway
This place is central to everything, first impression was great staff and professionalism. Price was great. The view and amenities was perfect. Thay had areas just to lounge after a long day. Breakfast was fresh hot, and clean ! Very impressed with this facility
The staff and owner are very nice and willing to help with anything. the view was incredible. The breakfast was good and the rooms were nice. This is a good value, I recommend you stay here. It has easy access to beach and nice outside amenities
The hotel was very neat and clean. The location is excellent on the bay front. The pool is warm with towels, the sea wall neat with Adirondack chairs and the lobby inviting. The breakfast was very good and delicious. The best part of our stay was the staff. Alan, Mary and Sally took excellent care of us with smiles, greetings and information on the area and restaurants. Simply one of the best Best Westerns I have stayed at.
we like this best western and have been coming here since they opened. our last visit in september was good, after we got a different room than the one they had assigned us. don't stay in the rooms directly on the east parking lot. we did find a live cockroach in the tub one evening.
Hotel is right on the water. You are always just a few steps away from a giod view. Pool is heated to 80 degress so you can swim in November. Breakfast was good. French toast was something new and i likes it.
We enjoyed our stay and would stay again, staff was very friendly and was knowledgable of the area and suggested things to do in the area, this would be great place for families to stay with children, nice pool area and small beach area was nice
Staff, was helpful and friendly, the property was much more than I expected, heated pool fire pit beach area. close to the Navarre bridge to go over to the beaches. Shopping and a couple restaurants were close by and convenient. Landscaping was lovely. over all the entire stay and experience was lovely and I absolutely will be back.
Excellently ran hotel Friendly staff, clean and a wonderful location. We enjoyed the bay as much as the ocean. The breakfast was always fresh and the coffee always available. We are already booked here for 2020.
A beautiful place to stay! They have great staff that takes time with each guest. Rooms were very nice and very clean, they are located in an amazing spot to view the water and very close to many things to do and see.
Really nice rooms and comfortable beds. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel sits right on the sound. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the water. The pool overlooks the sound. There's a fire pit with chairs. Several chairs that sit on the bank overlooking the sound.
The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous and professional. Parking is available but limited, Arrive early. Room was clean, but old and musty. The water view makes it worth the stay and you're just a few minutes from the beach. All in all the room was average, but fairly comfortable.
Great hotel! Wonderful staff! Beautiful views of the Bay! Walking distance to a lot of stuff! Our kids age 15, 13 had a blast too with the pool and everything around us! We will definitely be returning here!
Rooms were clean and everyone we interacted with was very friendly. If you like less congested area and local restaurants over chains Navarre is for you. Breakfast was nice and the items were different everyday.
Hotel was dirty and not maintained. Air vent fell off the wall, floor not vacuumed, bathroom not cleaned prior to check in or upon request. The ad states waterfront, but water is not accessible. Changed hotel to one 3 miles away and much cleaner and cheaper, Hampton Inn!
Great place to stay staff very helpful, clean, great experience!!! Love the fire pit late at night . The chairs by the water. Is so relaxing!! Close to places to eat! Very family oriented!!! Love to stay there.
I showed Sally at the front desk pictures PROVING they have bedbugs, but management refused to believe it, so I guess they're STILL INFESTED! And WILL CONTINUE TO BE, until management admits they have a problem.
Hotel sits on the gulf and bay. It has Great views. You can Sit outside and enjoy. Pool is large and clean. It has clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.. They serve a nice hot breakfast. Close to everything.
This place is wonderful! It was our second time staying here and will be back again! Nick the grounds keeper/maintenance man takes such great pride in his job! Vicki our breakfast lady is fabulous she is always taking care of everyone! Pepper our housekeeper made sure we had plenty of supplies for our room every morning! Beautiful property, great breakfast, clean rooms! What more could you ask for!
This hotel made my first visit to see the ocean amazing! The staff was very very nice, room was excellent, views were amazing and close to restaurants and the beach access. You can watch the pelicans eat from the ocean while relaxing on the many seating areas available. They have laundry onsite and free parking. The WiFi was great. Breakfast was very good also! We will definitely visit again!
Nice hotel. Rooms were clean an comfortable. Close to Gulf Islands National Shores. They have a nice pool, outdoor grill that can be reserved and a fire pit. You can fish in the rear of the hotel or catch sunrise or sunset. Dewy Destins is next door with a bar and reasonably price fish sandwiches. Breakfast and was good each morning. Staff was pleasant. Close to shopping.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Worker's were constantly attentive to the grounds, the continental breakfast, the guests. Large choice on breakfast. Beautiful views. Lots of outdoor seating around the pool and overlooking the sand and water.
Baker knows how to manage a Hotel. Awesome location. Rooms, hallways , fitness center, pool and pool deck, grounds and even the parking lot are clean and inviting. Staff is extremely nice and helpful, great breakfast too. I Never write reviews but this Hotel deserves this review. We will be back soon. Don't change anything !!
This is one of the best hotels we've ever stayed. Rooms are clean, staff is super friendly. The view is amazing of Santa Rosa sound. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Gives you that island atmosphere, with palm trees, fire ring, chairs along the water front. Pool is perfect. Breakfast was plentiful. Hostess very friendly. Close to the beach. Will definitely stay here again.
the hotel was very nice swimming pool right by the water and very close to restaurants and shopping center couldn't ask for anything better it had a nice place that had tables and you could sit and stay out of the rain plenty of parking and had a washer and drier if I had to say anything negative will be if they could have another washer and drier would be great but other wise everything was wonderful
I must say as much as we travel, and having a spouse that runs a hotel property herself. Who has an eye of an eagle for cleanliness, and maintenance sometimes it can be challenging booking a room that's she's going to be completely satisfied with to say the least. But to my surprise she was impress by how well maintained this property was; the room was very cleaned, breakfast was filling. Mary, I believe was her name at the desk, was very friendly, accommodating and gave us great recommendations for a cigar lounge, and near by restaurants. We will definitely come back to this location. Great views and we got to enjoy our morning cigar by the shore it can't get any better than that!!
This hotel was a wonderful place to stay. I was surprised at the cleanliness and hotel staff was very friendly and professional. The pool area was immaculate as well as the grounds of the hotel property. The lobby was bright and clean as well. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a great view overlooking the pool and the Bay in Navarre Beach, FL. The breakfast was typical but fresh and satisfying. I will return to this hotel in the future.
Central location easy access to beach. Low key which is exactly what I wanted. Not much in the way of restaurants. Need to drive a way to get to them. The hotel grounds has pool, nice breakfasts and fire pit.
This was our first stay at this location and our first trip to Navarre Beach in over 20 years. This hotel is located right next to the bridge to go to the island and has a wonderful restaurant right next door. The hotel staff was very nice and even offered me free room upgrade. Even though this was a short lived trip, we will return the weekend of Labor Day with the rest of our family.
This hotel is a great place to stay for a long weekend. Very clean and well maintained, and the staff is excellent. Close to everything you need: grocery store, restaurants, and located right at the beach causeway. We stay here several times per year.
Great scenery but the rooms needed updated and the breakfast was not great, the maids did not clean the rooms i had to call them back and then they still didnt do it right, did not change bed sheets the 4 days we were there and im sorry but we are around sand.
We enjoyed our two nights at this hotel. We stayed in room 207 which is on the corner overlooking the Bay, to the right overlooks the pool. They have a small beach, sand area, and nice pool ranging from 3ft-6ft deep (which is great for my little kids). The room is clean and was serviced while we were there. Since we have been on the road for many days, we appreciated the laundry facilities ($2 to wash, $2 to dry, $1.07 for a tide pod from the front desk). The bedding was soft - especially important to me after I got a bit sunburned. The breakfast was fresh. A few things I wish they had - fresh waffles (I LOVE hotel breakfast waffle makers!) and packets of Nutella. These aren't a huge deal. My kids enjoyed the fruit, yogurt, and fresh scrambled eggs.
We really enjoyed our stay. This was our first time visiting Navarre for vacation and we WILL be back. I must say, we picked the Best Western on pictures and reviews alone because we'd never been here and it did not disappoint. We wanted somewhere that was a great location but did not break the bank. It was clean and everyone that worked at the BW was super nice and helpful all the time. Thank you!! We will be back!! If you are looking for something that has a great location and just a short drive to the public beach access, this is it! There is a beach on-site with views of the Santa Rosa Sounds but if you're the really ocean waves person, a five minute drive or less and you're there.
Family trip to Navarre Beach with friends. We were very close to the beach and head easy access to restaurants and and local businesses. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Several gave advise on best routes and great local establishments.
Away from the hustle and bustle of crowds and horrible traffic. Loved the location, the people were great. Everything was clean. Breakfast was good. Couldn't ask for anything more. Would definitely return. Extremely satisfied with everything.
Decided to have a couple of days away. Room was big enough for four of us. Very clean and plenty of towels. Breakfast was included and plentiful. Staff very friendly. Had a little excitement when SWAT came and took away one of the guests (that sat next to me at breakfast) but that wasn't the hotels fault. Only minutes to the beach. Would def stay here again if I pass thru this area.
Beautiful view, great location. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was fantastic, the breakfast attendant Vicki was always smiling, visiting with the guests and very informative. She was a pleasure. The breakfast here compared to other hotels was amazing. Will definitely return to this location on our next trip to Navarre.
This is a very beautiful place.. great for families. Nice clean rooms.. beautiful beach. Very helpful staff. Great weather. We will definitely visit here again. The weather was perfect in June when we were there.
The Best Western in Navarre has the best staff, the rooms were nice and clean and the pool is perfect. The location is wonderful and the view is on point. I have nothing bad to say. Again Allen was so awesome.
Really enjoyed my stay. Clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. Reasonable price. Nice views. Good breakfast. Close to a variety of restaurants. Pool had a grill nearby where you could cook up your own food if you wanted. Staff was very friendly.
We had such an AMAZING experience, Alan at the front desk was extremely helpful! Vicki during breakfast in the morning was a delight! We had the best trip we've had in such a long time! We definitely are recommending this for others to stay here! It was so relaxing and such an amazing vacation!!
The rooms were so clean!!! The staff was incredibly nice!!! They were so awesome and engaging with my son. This was the best vacation I have ever had and owe a lot of it to this amazing hotel❤️ We will def make this our go to place to stay. Thank you
I am pretty picky and hard to please but I found this hotel to be very nice and would stay again without hesitation. The hotel is nicely positioned between Pensecola and Destin; we were able to visit both cities without issues. The hotel is across the street from a grocery store. The hotel is shaped like an "L". The inside of the "L" is pool side and the outside of the "L" faces the parking lot. The pool side is noisier so if you want ultra quite then request the outside of the "L". You can see the water (bay) from the pool. There are nice chairs to sit by the water and around the fire pit. The breakfast is top notch. Every employee was very professional. Hats off to Management, this place is ran very smoothly. Honestly, I do not know how the staff always made sure there were pool towels available.
We, a family of three were able to relax with views that were unbelievable ! We have stayed before and loved it but not like this time ! You can sit and relax outside in so many places that have that island feel walking thru the sand in many places ! Pool is always clean and employees are constantly working to make sure the hotel stays that way! Breakfast there with "Vicky" on Tue. morning and "Victoria" on Wed. could not possibly been better ! I have never had a breakfast area that I looked forward to getting up for but these ladies had me up and out for the day! Thank You ! The "Biggest" change is having a eatery like "Dewey Destin's next door adjoining the property with a walk through the white sand and palm tree's ! Dinner was "Great" and after we just relaxed out back overlooking the water, then our 10 year old had a swim in the pool ! Such a "Great" place to stay ! Thank you to your attentive staff and your kind employee's, because these things are really what stands out !
They were very helpful. Room was clean and and no parties/noisy guests. Felt safe and was fine for family. Great amenities nearby. Blow up obstacle course in water within view made me want to be 12 and play. Easy to get to beaches quick trip over bridge but great view from back of property.
We have stayed in so many hotels especially in the last 2 years and this one is by far the best of any of them. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and you just cant beat the view. I will stay here every time I'm in Navarre from now on.
Everthing was perfect, best coffee, breakfast, poolside towels, grill to your avail. View of the sound, easy access to everything even the beach, staff was very nice, I keep coming back 5 years now. Thanks Best Western Navarre.
Was there over holiday weekend. 5 min drive to several beaches. Located across the street from a grocery store, McDonald's and a pizza hut. Had a room with water view which was wonderful late evenings and early mornings as sun rose. Navarre is a nice area that's less crowded than Destin, also less developed, and also easy drive to Ft Walton Bch for more activities.. Enjoyed our stay.
Great Breakfasts...the displays for food as well as the dining area were kept immaculately clean, food was nicely presented...always warm and plenty of it! Nice selection. Staff has been courteous, friendly and accomodating! Only complaint...beds too high and too firm...needing new pillows (get rid of the lumpy ones!)
We stayed here Memorial Day weekend and would recomend this hotel when visting Navarre Beach. The hotel is conveniently located at near the base of the bridge with easy access to Hwy. 98. This hotel also offers a fantasic view of the bay with plenty of seating and a pavillion. Would stay here again.
I absolutely loved it there. I could not have asked for a better place. the location at this Best Western was perfect. It is a beautiful view and close to the beach and the bridge. The hotel was very nice and clean the the bed was comfortable. The hotel was clean and the workers were very nice. I highly recommend this hotel and I would love to come back there. From many of the rooms you can see the water. Loved and can't wait to go back. Navarre beach is beautiful. Not real crowded and crazy.
Thie Best Western in Navarre, Florida is the perfect location. It is not far from the bridge. They offer a good breakfast, the people are friendly and helpful. It is neat, and clean!! It is a happy environment.
You cannot describe the beautiful views here you have to experience it. Beautiful grounds, excellent friendly staff, clean rooms and grounds. We were delighted with our stay here, the breakfast was fabulous every morning with fresh eggs, sasuage, a variety of breads, fruits, cereal. The coffee was always available and ready. For the price and water views you can't go wrong here. We will be back Navarre is a beautiful place for sure.
When we were planning for our long weekend getaway in the gulf, we were searching for a nice clean place with great service for a reasonable price. Best western in Navarre is all that and much more. Every one from the front desk to the housekeeping staff and to the associates working the breakfast bar were very friendly and professional. I give the entire staff 5 stars. The property is very well maintained and I would highly recommend them to everyone. Thanks for a great stay Best Western in Navarre
Very clean and nice people and close to everything. Great breakfast, heated pool and has a Dewey's Destin restaurant right next door. Beautiful view of the water and even water sports next door too. Front desk personnel were so nice and let us know what ever we needed they were there to help. Would stay here again.
The room location and view was excellent good size room with small pillows (brought my on) breakfast was good closed by 9. Staff was great and pool and area was great. There is a good restaurant next door with a beach and shopping center across the highway
Great location but the cleaning crew during the week needs to do a better job of cleaning. We did not get stocked up on coffee and cups our room was not vacuumed just the minor things were done the weekend crew was awesome
This hotel has a beautiful view of Navarre Beach area. The restaurants in the area are in walking distance. The restaurant next door has excellent fresh seafood and is literally approximately 200 feet from the hotel. Very quiet.
This location is on the bay very close to the bridge to the pier and beach. So glad we stayed here. Nice heated pool as well as Adirondack chairs on grassy area overlooking the bay. Small area with corn hole games and very nice pavilion (wedding was taking place while we were there and it was a lovely setting). Enjoyed the morning breeze here after eating our complimentary breakfast. Also have a Dewey Destin's restaurant right next door - we walked to dinner each night. Got a poolside room which was amazing. Close to everything and was clean. Would definitely return.
I enjoyed my very first stay at this location! The waterfront is gorgeous! This hotel provides big, comfy chairs that you can sit in and look out over the water and the bridge to Navarre Beach (where there is free beach access!) My room was very clean and comfortable. I utilized the pool which was heated to a perfect 85 degrees. The staff was super friendly! The hotel did provide breakfast, and it was okay, but not my favorite BW breakfast. I was able to take my breakfast out each morning to a large pavilion overlooking the water...was glorious. Few things to note: (1)This hotel is on the main "drag" (it's very easily accessible)so be mindful that weekend traffic can be a little busy. (2)This hotel is near a large body of water, so bring mosquito repellent if you plan on spending some evenings outside. (3)You will be close to several restaurants and stores. You can walk to a couple of places, but for the most part, it's better to drive around. I recommend eating at Dewey Destin's just next door to the hotel!
We had a fantastic stay at the Best Western Navarre Waterfront where I celebrated my 50th birthday. My dear friend paid extra for a waterfront room and it was so worth it. The view of the bay is lovely. There are big Adirondack chairs right outside your room on the lawn. It is a great place to sit and relax and watch the sea birds, occasional boats and ski doos. Nice playground and some four adults were playing a game of cornhole on the lawn, Rooms and entire hotel was very clean. Microwave and refrigerator in rooms. The staff could not have been nicer. Their lobby has the best price on postcards. Full breakfast of eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, fruit, yogurt, muffins, real New York bagels from the Bronx, cereal, and more. The location is great, It is right across the street from Winn Dixie grocery store (souvenirs here too), and Pizza Hut. It is also beside Sea Shell City souvenir shop and across the street near the Shell shop was a lower priced souvenir shop called Island Style that we preferred. I bought items from both shops. Down the street from the Hotel going west right on the other side of the causeway that takes you to the beach is the Navarre Welcome center, It is really worth going to, there are free postcards, great pamphlets and coupon books filled with information of the area, a wildly painted giant sea turtle you can take a picture with and beautiful photography of the area by a local artist. There is also a little picnic area and playground so if you are too early to check in to your hotel you could go here and spend some time as you wait if you don't want to go to the beach at that time. Across the street from the Welcome center is Turtle's Nest souvenir shop. We did not go here but we heard from a local it is great if you love sea turtles The hotel is so close to the beach just across the causeway. We felt very safe. Parking is free at the beach. It is a wonderful hotel and I hope to return!
The hotel is nice and clean and right on the bay. Just wish that they were dog friendly. But we found a website Rover.com which found us a dog sitter just a couple miles away. Her name is Cassie and she took very good care of our dog.
I wanted something close to the beach (the options on the beach were a bit too expensive) and I wanted it to be clean (I have a 7 yr old and a 4 yr old). I was hesitant to book the Best Western because it's a motel (doors to the rooms are outside instead of inside like a hotel) and I'd be there alone with the kids (husband stayed behind). After researching this hotel and the Hampton Inn, I decided to go for the BW and I'm glad I did. The pool is heated (and clean) which was perfect for the kids considering it was in the upper 60s/lower 70s. The hotel is very close to the bridge leading to Navarre Beach and it's across the street from a grocery store. It was also only 4 mins away from my sister and her family (who we were visiting). The rooms are spacious and pretty clean. The customer service there is excellent. We had an issue with our original room and they moved us to a new room right away (even brought the new keycard and a cart/caddy to move our stuff to our room so I didn't have to run to the lobby - and it was 10:30pm). Breakfast is provided and the options were satisfactory (bagels, muffins, bread, cold cereal, oatmeal packets, yogurt, fruit and a few hot items (eggs, breakfast meat (sausage) and pancakes/french toast). I felt safe the entire time even when we got to our rooms after 10pm one evening. My kids absolutely loved it there and asked when we're coming back.
This hotel was conveniently near stores and right off the highway. There were also dining choices near by. It was right on the water and near the closest beach which took all of 7" to reach. The personal were extremely friendly and it was very well kept. Would highly recommend.
We stayed 3 nights in March while looking at property in the Navarre area. This is an exceptionally nice hotel! Located on the Santa Rosa Sound and super close to the Navarre beach bridge. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We stayed on the second floor and had a nice view of the sound and bridge. There is no beach but they provide nice chairs near the waters edge to sit and look out over the water. If that's not your style then there is a heated outdoor pool. They provide a very good breakfast each morning from 6-9. It includes scrambled eggs, link sausage, french toast, bagels, bread, cold cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, coffee and juice. The dining area is a little small but we got there around 7 and always found a table. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel!!
very nice clean room and courteous polite staff and a good breakfast and a great view of gulf we would definitely stay here again we enjoyed our stay if you are in this area we suggest you check this out.
The room was clean and easy to access. I was super impressed with the breakfast though. Everything was hot and fresh, there was a good selection, and the staff member manning the area was incredibly helpful and kind! Great experience, highly recommend. Also, it is right next to the bridge to Navarre Beach so it's a quick drive over!
The place was nice but not beach front. It has a small area you can access that is bay front. We made the best of it and found some crabs. The views are beautiful. We sit in the provided lounge chairs and relaxed while looking and listening to the sounds of Heaven. Breakfast was good and there was an attendant in there who provides great service. Also, the service in the lobby was good. The rooms were clean. My only disappointment was it was not really beachfront and I didn't know that till I arrived. The outside is greatly done. Props to the landscapers and designers. Beautiful place.
Stayed here one night based on reviews on a cross country road trip and this is the priciest hotel so far. Room 307 internet wouldn't work, HVAC fan could not be shut off and ran all night, breakfast room is small with not enough places to sit, selection is limited and quality is just ok. Unless you place a lot of value in looking at water, this is not a 4 1/2 dot spot.
The staff was so friendly, the room was great! Comfortable bed, phenomenal view, close to all kinds of shopping, directly across from win Dixie, subway, just a couple miles from Walmart, across the bridge from a beautiful beach , Navarre Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center, zoo. Dewey Destin's Seafood Restaurant right next door. This is a wonderful hotel!
Stayed here due to our rental not being ready. Beautiful setting, lots of palm trees, pool. Alan at check in was extremely helpful with restaurant choices. The grounds and pool area very clean. Beautiful landscaping. The room was very nice, clean very good housekeeping. The breakfast room was excellent. So clean, food was great. The lady in charge- Vicki was great! We would even come back next year again before our rental unit is available, it was that nice!
Great Weekend get away. Close to beach. Right on bay. .Convenient red light for easy access. Convenient locations to restaurants and Walmart. Staff was cordial and helpful. Great coffee 24/7. Enjoyed our stay.
We had our kids stay here while looking at houses for us. Easy access. Great restaurants nearby. AMAZING view of the water. They enjoyed their stay and it was a great value. We have stayed here prior while traveling through. It is now our "extra room" when we have too many at one time.
After staying down the road the night before and being disappointed with the accommodations the Best Western Navarre Waterfront was a delight. We arrived early and surprisingly the room was ready. We checked in with no problem. The room was clean and fresh. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Really liked that they had a fridge in the room. Wifi was acceptable. Breakfast was typical for Best Westerns. Employees were fantastic. We have inlaws that live in the area so this will now be our go to place in Navarre.
I've stayed at this hotel every year for 4 years. I am never disappointed. Very clean and comfy. I get better sleep here than at home. It's quiet and quaint. Staff is very kind and helpful. Couldn't ask for anything more.
I booked a poolfront room, and it was quite comfortable -- painted in a Caribbean theme, with a comfortable bed, plenty of room, granite counters in dressing area, and new tile in bathroom. Larger sized mini fridge and clean microwave! The pool area is great - lots of comfy nice chairs, along with an event building beyond. Views of the Navarre Beach bridge are the best anywhere... Thanks to all for making the trip very nice!
We spent two nights here for a friends destination wedding in the area. The hotel is right on the water of the Santa Rosa Sound and very close to the bridge over to Navarre Beach. The room was clean. The bed was a little hard for my liking, but not uncomfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was good and there were hot and cold offerings. I enjoyed sitting in the chairs they have out by the water. Even though there's no beach right there, it's still great to sit and enjoy the sun and water, while watching the boats. We will stay here again next time we are in the area.
We had the best stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was very clean and spacious, and we really liked that the room came equipped with a fridge and a microwave. We enjoyed a full hot breakfast every morning, and the breakfast buffet had lots of choices for everyone. The pool was great and so were the views. They even had Adirondack chairs set up on the lawn overlooking the water - perfect for catching the sunset.
Very nice rooms! Great service, very caring staff! Delicious breakfast! We stayed here last minute due to evaluation from Miramar due to Michael. Thankful to find a great hotel on last minute request.
Excellent staff...comfy beds...friendly atmosphere! Super location. Smack in the middle of everything you need to add to your stay (shopping, restaurants, beaches, etc) Will definitely add this property to my list of "getaways"!!
This hotel is right on the water, clean rooms, attentive staff, a great pool area right by the ocean. While there is t a beach front you can swim from there is a dock you can fish from, and the beautiful public beach is less than a five minute drive and has an amazing 1500 foot pier. The area is quaint and very easy to navigate. This was a very peaceful long weekend and we will be back.
We had a wonderful all ladies weekend staying from Thursday to Monday. The hotel is clean, friendly staff, and wonderful breakfast. We were close to everything. We took advantage of the pool area and we're happy to sit in comfortable chairs and watch the sunset over the water every evening. We will definitely be back.
We stayed from a Thursday to Sunday and everything from check in to check out was on point. The view was amazing, my daughter loved the pool and the little walk out beach. Close to everything and super close to the beach maybe a 5 minute drive if that. Id say the only complaint I have is having to get new room keys multiple times ours would stop working at least twice a day. No biggie though. Clean rooms, friendly staff, lots to do in the area. I would definitly recomend this hotel and will be coming back again!
I'll be honest, I havent stayed in a Best Western in a very long time and I had my worries about staying in one again. But this place was great. It was quiet, which was nice since its right beside a very busy road. The beds were comfortable and I slept great. The Location was the best part. The bridge to Navarre beach is less than minute away. There are restaurants all over the place near here and some of the best places to eat are very close. I suggest walking over the little place right next to the hotel called Sharkbite I believe. Good place to grab a burrito in the morning or a hot dog for lunch. If you feel like driving, try TC's front porch or JJ Chagos, both excellent. The people working at the Western were very nice and I wouldnt hesitate to ask them any questions you may have. I would definitely stay here again, maybe have a few drinks on the chairs by the bay too.
As we walked into the hotel I was struck by the beautiful and peaceful view. Our room was attractively decorated, but even more important, very clean. We had a beautiful view of the sound; and the gulf was just over the bridge. The surprise was the extremely warm, friendly and helpfulness of every single member of staff, from front desk, breakfast attendant, and maids. We kept forgetting we were at a hotel and not staying with some of our friends.
We were pleased to stay at this hotel. It was not on the beach, but was on the Intercoastal Waterway and you could see the bay from the room. It was cool inside when we arrived and we were glad to see they Serve Community Coffee all day! Will definately consider staying here next year on our trip.
Although we started off with a little bump, our overall stay was great. The hotel is located in a good area and is close to a lot of stores and activities. There were food places that were in walking distance as well.
We come to this hotel every summer for the last 4 years and plan on continuing the tradition for many years to come. The breakfast is top notch so is the service. They go out of their way to make sure you are happy.
Beautiful place! Right on the Navarre bridge. Staff was friendly and the price was not bad. The front desk receptionist was willing and able to help in every way requested. The location was perfect!!!
Great hotel! We were in town for business/leisure, and wanted something close to the beach. This was perfect! The room was nice and quiet. The staff was professional and polite. We booked here based on the many positive reviews, and they were spot on. We will return.
This is by far the BEST place to stay in Navarre. From the staff to the grounds everything was perfect. I didn't meet one person at this place that was unhappy. Thanks Best Western staff for making our stay so wonderful ! We will always stay here when we come back.
We wanted an oceanview under $200. We were not dissapointed. Great location close to everything. Friendly staff, pool over looks the ocean. We saw stingray and dolphins from the balcony. Will stay there again on our next visit to Navarre
This property is older than some hotels around, but it has been kept up and the people make it worth the stay. Employees were courteous and always willing to help. Breakfast was typical with a few hot items and usual cold items but if you want more there are several places very close to get a full breakfast. Close drive to the beach (with no tolls) and peaceful view of the sound.
Nice property. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Pool very nice. Love the proximity to beach. Chairs for watching beautiful water/sky views. The only complaint is the quality of breakfast food. Coffee was however excellent. Need more fresh fruit, fress muffins/rolls. Waffles.
Great location with great views. Close to the beach but far enough away for a relaxing evening by the water. Awesome and knowledgeable front desk attendants. Pool was very clean and area surrounding it was very well kept with attractive landscaping.
Really enjoyed this place. The staff was excellent and the rooms are nice. From my perspective, the accessibility was good. The room had a king bed with those risers that made it extremely high for me to transfer to. I asked if they could remove them and within 30 mins Mary had someone come remove them. I asked for a shower bench and they brought a basic one. The bathroom wasn't very large, so not sure how easy it would be for a power chair to get around, but it was OK for my manual chair. The real highlight for me was the pool lift. I have been to several hotels, and most don't have a pool lift or they don't work. But the pool lift worked just fine, and I was allowed to use it like an adult and not having someone from the hotel supervising me as if I was a kid. My daughter and wife loved having me in the pool with them and we will be coming back to make more memories.
We were going to Navarre beach and arrived a day earlyso we stopped here and stayed and loved it,the front desk people were very nice,a guy and a girl in training. We loved our room and the outside area was very nice as well, very pretty sound and beachy area.Breakfast was good in the morning, bagels, yogurt, etc. The only thing is I wish they would lower the prices a bit as 200 a night was a bit steep but very nice place and wonderful staff!
We stayed this hotel for two nights to celebrated our wedding anniversary. We wanted to stay away from crowd, and just relax by ocean. I was amazed the view from our room, clean room, very convenient location, and just cross the bridge to the beautiful Navarre Beach! They had everything I wished for this trip. Can't wait to plan for the next visit.
We loved staying at Best Western Waterfront. Very clean hotel with great service. The breakfast is great. Sausage, breakfast burritos, eggs, etc. The attendant was very helpful and friendly. The pool area was great and they have a sanded area for playing. Nice and peaceful. This is located on a SOUND, not the gulf. However it is right beside the bridge that leads you to public swimming at the gulf. Only a few minutes drive. Also beside the park. And a new resturaunt is being built next door. Close to shopping, grocery stores, etc. Would definitely recommend!!!!
We have been here 2 days and almost all the staff is amazing!! I've run a business for over 13 years and I know how hard it is to find Great team members who give 5 STAR service. We came with my family and the love the hotel, our walks in the bay during low tide, the amazing breakfast and the gorgeous views. The room HAS BEEN immaculate every day! House keeping always left sweet notes on our dresser. My favorite park was vicky. She is always cheerful and very friendly she goes out her way in the morning to make sure she greets everyone. My kids raved about the burritos all night after the first breakfast. They were devastated when they didnt have any left at 830am. I asked Mrs vicky if they had anymore and conveyed my kids enjoyment for the breakfast. She found out how many children I have went right to the back and cooked two for each of the kids. Including the adult kids :) my first trip and this business is awesome. Not far from the beach. On the water of the bay. Cant wait to make more memories in the future here and enjoy the rest of my vacation. EVERYTHING I have needed on site and plenty more close by. THANKS A TON Melissa Autin
Wife and i spent one night at the hotel as we were in town looking for investment property. Clean room and staff friendly. Free breakfast was ok and hotel is on the bay but not far from the beach which was really nice. Did not take advantage of their swimming pool. Overall well kept property.
I found this treasure on Booking.com. We needed a place near Gulf Breeze (for a doctors appointment) and we had been told Navarre was a nice area. That was an understatement. And this hotel was beyond phenomenal. The location was perfect, beautiful and close to Navarre beach. The view of the waterway was perfect, with sandy beach, heated pool, corn hole, and Navarre family water sports right next door. The breakfast was awesome, the staff beyond helpful and friendly (thank you Vickie!) and we did not want to leave!
Super clean property! Great Location! Perfect for our weekend getaway!! Close to activities, food and even a grocery store! Employees were very helpful and friendly! We cant wait to come stay again soon!!!
I was pleasantly surprised even after reading good reviews about this hotel. I was advised I would have no water view, but upon checking in I did have a very nice view of the sound. The room was so clean and furnishings were updated and fresh looking. From booking the reservation by phone to checking in, and out all staff were very helpful and friendly!! Such a great experience overall. The breakfast was scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, french toast and an assortment of breads, and muffins, yogurt, etc. The area was very clean and not cluttered.
Great for being a last minute decision. My kids walked from the beach back to the room. When they were little we stayed here and was able to go to the park a block away. It's under renovation right this minute. Love the colorful Adirondack chairs along the seawall. Thank you for our relaxing stay.
Hotel room was clean, and comfortable.Double room had 2 queen beds, small fridge without freezer , and small microwave .Bathroom area had one sink.Work out room was small but nice and had several weight machines a treadmill and elliptical .Has a guest laundry that was convenient. All the staff were so very helpful and friendly .Pool was nice and warm, outdoor area was nice with plenty of lounge chairs, a cabana , and music, grill is available for use also .Parking lot was pretty full at night,And we had to park on the other side of the hotel away from our room ( but this was during spring break time)Breakfast was good, and they had a variety of food during out stay, breakfast is from. 6 am until 9am , which seems to be a bit early to rise and shine when your on vacation , but we made it work. All and all very happy with our stay here .
We booked a last minute getaway at this hotel and were excited after reading the great reviews. Yes, the hotel is older but the rooms and grounds were clean. Great location to the bridge. We had a second floor room facing the bay. Beautiful view! However, our great experience went south real fast that evening. After returning from a beach day and dinner, we came back to a smokey room smelling like a bonfire (not like a pleasant bonfire). The room immediately below us was burning a fire pit UNDER the overhang. Our ac intake was sucking up the smoke. Fire hazard, hello!!!!! I politely asked them to move it away. They moved it just outside the overhang. I guess I should have been more specific and say at least 50 ft away. They said they do it every year and never had a problem before. This was frightening to hear... they are lucky the place hasn't burned down yet. I called the front desk about the safety concern and the horrible smell in our room. They then moved the fire pit closer to water and we were handed a can of air refresher by hotel staff. Not exactly the service I hoped for.... needless to say we smelled like we went camping instead of the beach.....
Hotel is clean and easy to access from the hwy. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The cleaning staff was great. I had a room overlooking the sound and I enjoyed sitting in the chairs by the water and watching the sun go down. If I ever go back to Navarre again, I will definitely stay here.
We stayed here twice in a week for a night each. We were on a road trip. We had a nice experience both times. Nice pool. Access to BBQ. Breakfast was good. We had an attentive front desk, who was helpful pointing directions. I will stay here again.
This hotel is in a great location, with half the rooms overlooking the pool. The rooms open into a walkway that overlook the pool and with a view of the waterfront. The pool and surroundings were clean, the pool was well lit and well maintained. The rooms were smaller than we have seen at other hotels, but overall in good condition. The thing that drove me nuts was the air-conditioner. Most places I've stayed in has an explicit cool or heat setting, followed by a temperature setting. So if the temperature is set to 75 (say) and setting is cool, the unit shuts off if the temperature is below 75. Here, it behaved like climate control in a car and strived to reach the temperature I was setting by heating or cooling as it felt necessary. I finally asked the front desk and they advised me to unplug the wall unit when it went out of control! The breakfast wasn't that great either - they had plain scrambled eggs, which I liked, and awesome Community coffee, but everything else was below my expectations. No waffle maker, off-brand cereals, only one choice of milk, toaster that only toasted one side of bread... to be fair I didn't complain about any of these things as I figured that's just the way it was and I was staying in a different chain than the Hampton Inns I usually prefer, but it reduced my enjoyment just the same. Can't say enough good things about the staff and the housekeepers - very friendly and willing to help.
I stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago and it just got better. You can tell the owner takes pride in this hotel. The excellent condition of the place proves that. The staff were all friendly and informative. Upon booking I thought they had safes in the rooms, they did not. However, they offered to lock my things in their safe. Very professional people. Seem happy and dedicated. Rooms were clean and very comfortable, I suggest when tipping the housekeepers, give it directly to the person doing the actual work. Front desk staff very professional and friendly and helpful. Always so pleasant no matter the time of day. The grounds are kept up nicely. I enjoyed watching the sunsets from the chairs out by the Santa Rosa Sound. The pool was warm and relaxing. Conveniently located to food and entertainment and the Gulf of Mexico is just across the bridge. My friend and I enjoyed this visit very much. We will recommend and we'll be back.
Flew into Pensacola and just needed a room for couple of nights before going further south. WOW for an older hotel, this place shows pride of ownership. The check in staff Mary was efficient, friendly and informative. She printed directions for us to places we needed to go to. Our room had more than a king including a small table, accent chair, the usual desk and chair, fridge, coffee maker, microwave but could easily have a sofa in it it was so spacious. We requested water view and that was great to look out on sound. They also have a large sandy beach area, tables and very nice outdoor areas including a pool. Breakfast was so so but one day I did have the grits - delicious! Cook added little cheese so it kicked it up a notch! Be sure to ask for water view room, away from highway so very quiet. Shriners were there after participating in Madi Gras on Navarre Beach and they were fun to talk with. Sally was a dear. Only leaving our phone charger there and not having it returned marred our stay. But uptick was that we lost our rental car keys there and they did have those. A big thank you to who ever turned them in! Will stay here again it was so wonderful.
I had my wedding here back in October of 2017. Both Alan and Debbie did a fantastic job for both accommodating everyone that came to stay at the hotel and to set up for the wedding reception. It was absolutely beautiful! They made everything really easy for us and very stress free. The experience was something that definitely made the whole process even more memorable! I seriously couldn't have been more happy and thrilled with my experience with them!! We will definitely be coming back in the future just to vacation!
The hotel was clean and cozy. The gentleman at the front desk (Alan) was professional and very friendly. Additionally I was just overall very impressed with this property. I never knew a Best Western could be so nice.
Absolutely love this hotel. Great water views. The rooms are nice & very clean. The staff is very helpful & friendly. Would definitely stay here again. Wish we would have had more time to explore the area!
Always Best Western, super accommodating, super friendly , super affordable! There is one in every town, every state , you can't go wrong , and the breakfast is delicious ! Thank you ! And make sure to sign up for the rewards program! Your perks are ??
We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past and twice this year and have always found it to be very satisfactory. The staff are always helpful and very professional and friendly and eager to please.
I made this reservation in the early evening and they were still able to accommodate me. This was an updated property. Clean and comfortable rooms staff was friendly. The normal spread at breakfast. I got there a t night so I wasn't able to enjoy the view ,but it's right on the water.
The Best Western Navarre is a nice motel. The major attraction is that it is right on the sound, with beautiful sunrise and sunset views. It also has a nice pool area, although it was a little chilly for swimming while we were there. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. Our maid staff also left thoughtful notes each day, but the bathroom wasn't cleaned thoroughly or the sheets changed during our six night stay. The complimentary breakfast is also very average. Navarre is a lovely area on the Florida panhandle and we would consider staying at the Best Western Navarre on subsequent visits to the area.
We loved the place and the views were fantastic. Room was nice and clean. Located on the water close to the bridge to go to the beach. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. We will defiantly recommend and will stay there again.
Couldn't expect more at this level of hotel (I don't know how many stars it is rated). The rooms were clean and the beds and shower were excellent. And I'm picky. Nice water view from room 207. The TV was a bit confusing to use but there were no hidden charges as sometimes happens if you hit the wrong button.
We stay here every time we come down to visit our kids--perfectly located and easy to find. Really like that the hotel is right on the water. Great staff and location! Highly recommended. Water views are preferred but city view is fine--enjoy!
Rough start with check in. Directions to room were worthless and not even close to what we were told. Having beat that hurdle, no real issues until last morning there. Guests were talking from 3rd floor to the ground floor very early in the morning and very loudly. Took 2 calls to front desk for this to be addressed. Get a room away from the street side. Very noisy. Would stay there again though.
Enjoyed being away with friends. Enjoyed the water front room. Very safe feeling. Beautiful views day and night. Shopping in area was good. Choice of eating places a little lacking. Would recommend for leisure.
If you are looking for a nice hotel with a friendly staff, very comfortable beds, and excellent waterfront location then look no further than the Best Western located in Navarre, Florida. This hotel is close to nearby beaches, shopping, and restaurants. It made for a perfect stay while visiting our family.
Our stay was great except for the DIRTY CARPET left your feet dirty. But you can wash them. It is close to the water and places to eat and to shop. We have stay there one time before and it is still a nice place. If you like sea food try the Shrimp Basket my husband loves it.
we stayed for 4 nights, was quit a nice room ,enough space that we weren't crammed, right on the Navarre bay front....nice sized pool, good break fast...we went all over shopping and eating...was well satisfied
This was our very first visit to Navarre to visit our Son and his family. Stayed 4 nights. The room we had was on the top (third) floor pool view which was an awesome sound view as well. The hotel has a grassy area right on the water with chairs to enjoy the soft Florida breeze and the view. The room itself was quiet, clean and comfortable, however did have a musty smell we believe was coming from the AC. It seemed to go away after the first day. Breakfast was fine. Staff was friendly. Great location as there was a grocery store right across the street with restaurants very close too. We didn't want to leave!
Saw a roach here in the bathroom when turning on the light in the evening. Before I could kill it with my flip flop, it ran under a crack in the corner tile. I called the front desk to let them know they may want to inform maintenance. When the front desk answered I told her 'I thought you may need to let maintenance know we just saw a roach in the bathroom' her question that followed was 'was it big or little?' which I found disturbing, as I think one regardless of size is irrelevant. I said 'I guess I would say kinda big.' Her response was 'I get the bigger ones at my house in the garage occasionally but when I get those smaller ones it's like ewwww'. She went on to explain that this Florida... like this is common. I thought bugs yes, roaches no. I was sort of dumbfounded by that entire conversation. She later confirmed that she would notify maintenance of the problem. My gut tells me this is not the first call of this nature they have received. I stay in many hotels, this is definitely a deterrent for me. Thankfully we didn't stay the night.
Very easy to get to, just off the Parkway at the traffic light. Grocery store, restaurants and other shopping across the street at the light. Very clean rooms, nice clean pool with grilling area and covered pavilion with fans. Friendly , knowledgeable staff. Many attractions close by.
We took a quick, last minute trip and stayed at this hotel. We had a very nice, comfortable room with a water view at an affordable price. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the hot breakfast poolside while looking out at the bay. It was just a few minutes from the beach, also. A nice little Labor Day weekend get away!
This was my 2nd time to stay in this hotel this year. Both trips were for 4 nights each. Great value on the bay, nice pool, and private beach. Only one mile to Navarre beaches without the price of beachfront on the gulf. Staff courteous, friendly and professional. I'll be back!
Loved that this Hotel was on the Beach/Waterfront and that you could fish right behind the hotel from the bank. we seen Dolphins, Stingrays, Crabs and caught a few fish. Very nice.. Only complaint I had was that the AC Unit in room 101 was a little noisy at night when it kicked on.
Owner, Mr. Clark and Melissa of Food Service greatly helped during a family funeral gathering. We appreciate their gracious assistance during this difficult time. We have been Best Western members for many years and always spend a few weeks at Navarre Best Western each year. We enjoy the location and amenities.
Loved everything about staying here. From the staff all the way down to the guests. Everyone was polite.. Bringing my kids here next year. They will for sure love it too.. By far the best birthday ever!
The staff at this Best Western were amazing! Very nice, very friendly environment. Just a short drive over the Navarre bridge to the beach and the beautiful Gulf. There is a lot to do there. Family friendly environment was a nice change. Very nice view of the bay (Santa Rosa Sound). This Best Western is definitely worth the stay.
Overall enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is great for the beach, and the rooms are comfortable. Staff are very nice and breakfast was decent. Only complaint is the outside washer and dryer; only one of each, cost $2 each, and are old and slow. Other wise, still loved my stay at this hotel.
We were able to reserve the grill under the tiki hut. This was a nice change from any other place I have stayed. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoying a well deserved vacation. Thank you to the wonderfully helpful staff.
The Best Western at Navarre Waterfront is a great place to have a family vacation. The front desk where very friendly and helpful for places to eat and stores for quick purchase of items left at home.
If you don't have to have Beach front, this hotel is a very nice and comparatively inexpensive place to stay. Staff is very helpful and location is good, near the beach and restaurants. It is not far to the beautiful Navarre Beach and National Seashore and there are plenty of public spaces. A short drive will get you to many outstanding restaurants in Pensacola. Navarre is a great place and not as crowded as other nearby beach towns.
My daughter, my Mom, and I stayed for one night. The staff was friendly. The hotel is a mile or so from the bridge and has a beautiful ocean view. The room access is outdoors rather than indoors with keyless entry and an inside manual lock too. We stayed in room 327 on the third floor, the view was beautiful. The down side is that our room was centered and offset from the walkway, which meant people walking by could see in our room if the curtains were open. Also, those walking to the elevator from their rooms would be walking straight toward our windows before turning to the breezeway on their way to the elevator. This wasn't a huge deal for us, because we felt safe at this location and preferred being outdoors to enjoy the pool and the view anyway. The room was beautiful and clean, it seemed to be newly renovated. We called ahead to notify them of late arrival. They had the air on when we arrived, so it was cool, which made it even more inviting. There were two queen beds, which were possibly medium firmness with very soft pillows. We slept comfortably. We didn't ever turn the tv on, because we sat out in the colorful beach chairs by the water until about 10:00 PM or so. The lights from the hotels and city across the bridge on the other side were pretty! The outdoor pool area was well maintained, the water was clear of debris, and small/medium sized pool towels were provided. A small grill and bar area were within the pool fence in addition to a few tables. There was a pavilion type area that I believe was also part of the hotel, a wedding and subsequent celebration was held there during our stay. There isn't beach access behind the hotel, there appeared to be access a half mile or so down but I'm not sure if it was for the public or not. There was a Dollar store, McDonald's, KFC, Taco Bell, and other fast food nearby as well as some restaurants, a grocery store, and shopping centers on that stretch of road. We enjoyed our stay.
We loved location and the crew was very friendly we will come back every Summer we also loved the way guest mingled with each other the breakfast could stand to stay open onther hour is only thing we could think of
Great place to stay for a family vacation. Kid friendly. Nice rooms with very comfortable beds. Great view of the ocean in addition to a very clean, well kept pool. Excellent breakfast! Parking is a little confined but we made it! Recommended!!
Daughter and I stayed here for two nights coming back from family trip up north. It was totally worth the detour. Beautiful area and wonderful hotel. Friendly staff. Really nice pool and beach area just adjacent to hotel. Ideal for families with small children. Not what I thought of when I thought about Best Western ... this place really changed my mind! I travel a lot for work, and stay at beach destinations. Many hotels smell musty and don't get up all the sand. Not this place -- this hotel is IMMACULATE! Would stay here again and recommend without reservation.
Not fancy by any means but great location and right next to the bridge to get to the beach. I am pretty snotty about places but this was cute and the staff made it worth it. I would stay again. And great views from the back!!!!
Spent three nights and enjoyed the breakfast and pool. Carolyn in the breakfast area was most helpful and made sure we had everything we wanted for breakfast. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Check-in and check out was quick and easy.
Excellent facility and the best deal on the gulf with unbelievable views of the water!! Make sure you pay extra and get a room with a water view!! Fantastic experience!! Unlike the other name brand beaches, we never waited anytime at all regardless of what we wanted to do. Pontoon boats, jet ski's, right outside our door in the bay.
We checked in for a three night stay and immediately asked for a fourth night! It is that impressive a place! From the sweet Sally at the front desk to Rikki who kept our room clean to the guy who walked around the whole motel cleaning the metal casings of the outside lights, you could not find q better stay. Our room faced the sound so we were able to watch the kids playing on the inflatable water park, the little helicopters taking off and landing, the tides changing and uncovering a sand bar and the beautiful night lights of the high rise condos across the bridge. The breakfast area was kept clean and supplied with a variety of hot and cold foods. There was plenty of places to sit for breakfast outside, too. In the late afternoon there was good music through the speakers, pleasant and not loud at all. You could sit in lounge chairs on the raised beach and watch the sun begin to set. Will we be back? Already checking our calendars! Thanks, Best Western Navarre!
This was a great experience and everyone was so helpful and nice. It is a great place to have a wedding! The venue was a great set up and Deb works to meet your needs. The rooms were clean the the staff was very accommodating. I highly recommend a wedding at BW Navarre. Deb, Allen , Kyle and all the staff were great!
Good one-night stay. Hadn't been in a Best Western in a long time - but I'm glad I did. Desk clerk - Mary - was super. My room keys didn't work - 4 times! - and she still managed to check in others remaining professional and polite to all. Finally gave up on that room and got me one just as good! I'd recommend for sure.
This hotel was away from the hustle of the beach crowd. The beach is a short distance away as well as some very nice restaurants,The rooms away from the pool is the best if you are seeking a restful nights sleep. The hotel was clean and the outside area was very relaxing.Breakfast was tasty and I wished it lasted a little longer especially if you want to sleep longer, The location of this hotel along with a beautiful beach is worth travelling to.
The hotel was in need of updating. It was waterfront but there was no actual beach associated with the hotel. The hotel was just average. I should have paid a little more and gone to a hotel that was connected to a beach since that was the main purpose of my stay in this area.
Great place to stay...clean, family friendly, courteous staff, beautiful landscaping. Played in the sound and visited the beautiful beaches right over the bridge. Low key relaxation close to good local eats. Water sports business next door offers fun options.
The staff was courteous & helpful. The hotel was quiet & conveniently located with a nice view of the bay. The room and facilities were very clean and well maintained. Our room was located next to the pool and gym but we did not hear the activities taking place while in our room.
This hotel is set on the Gulf of Mexico and the scenery was beautiful. It was in close proximity to all services you may need when traveling. It has a nice pool and easy access to the Gulf. We were there on the 4th of July and you could watch the fireworks from the 3rd floor where we stayed. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, and the staff was nice. You will like this hotel. It has an elevator for the two upper floors which made it easier to get tour room.
Room we stayed in near the pool was a little bit dated, but was clean and bed was comfortable, breakfast was bulk standard make your own waffles, some cereal, yoghurts, juices, there is a beach close by, but to get to main beach and attractions you will have to drive
Visited at this Hotel for a short getaway and beach time. The facilities were top notch such as the convenience of parking, a very spacious clean room and the tasty morning breakfast. The location was perfect right across the bridge for a short travel and you find yourself on the public beaches. The front desk was very helpful with check in and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend a stay at this or any Best Western and I hve stayed at many.
Will not use this hotel next trip. We know of several choices especially after taking notes while and that will help us in making our next choice. A better beach access is expected for $300+ per night to stay . My son lives in Navarre and we wanted to be close to him and found the distance to be fair, yet the stay to be less than we expected. I hope that other customers are leaving with a better note for you to read, however without truth and comments to improve, you will not know what the paying customer is looking for.
We truly enjoyed our stay at this Best Western in Navarre Beach. The check-in people were very courteous and very nice. The lady who handled the breakfast bar was extremely nice and did a very good job with the breakfast bar! In fact, my husband complimented her on it! The The motel was very clean and I must say our room was always very very clean! Thank you Angie for cleaning our room! We stayed at your motel for four days and were very pleased! We will definitely be back for a longer stay!
The hotel was in a good spot and overall we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast ended at 9AM which was hard to make every day when you are on a leisure vacation. Also, the WI-FI was not good. I wasn't able to use it at all.
This is our 2nd year visiting Navarre and staying at this hotel & we have been tItaly satisfied! The water front view is amazing! We will definitely be back; only wish we didn't have to wait a whole year!
What a pleasure to see paper goods rather than styrofoam being used in the breakfast area! This is a welcome sign of thoughtfulness by the management, and was much appreciated. Staff was very hospitable, room comfortable and convenient.
We have stayed at this place every time that we were in Navarre for the past 10 years. The staff is great, the view is great as well as the location. Love the pool too. Plus there is a lot of things to do in this area.
This was the cleanest hotel we have stayed in ever. Every one was very nice and helpful. It is located on the water and walking distance to many restaurants and stores. We will definitely stay there again.
Very pleasant staff from start to finish. They were upbeat, engaging, and made the atmosphere very relaxing. This hotel sits on a beautiful location; right on the water with a wonderful view of the area both day and night. The well cared for grounds and pool area were a delight and enjoyed. Would definitely stay here again!
Loved the location on the bay and away from the craziness over the bridge. The pool is heated and clean. They have a wonderful outdoor area if you want to throw something on the grill and have some cocktails while you wait.
If you frequent Best Western hotels, as I do, you will recognize many of the features of this hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff, nice breakfast, well maintained facility. What makes this place special is the waterfront and the proximity to the beach. The hotel has twelve waterfront rooms - four on each of three floors. We had a ground floor waterfront room. Fabulous! We had a great full view of the intra-coastal through our window, and five steps outside our room, we were able to sit on the adirondacks right on the waterfront. There is a small beach for the kids and several guests were observed fishing from the seawall. A swimming pool, covered patio, and cornhole are also onsite. Next door is the jet ski rental and an aquatic playground for kids. All in all, this is probably the best Best Western I have ever stayed at.
This was our second visit to Best Western Navarre Beach. It's right on the water. The view is awesome. Their pool is wonderful. We enjoyed the water and visiting with the fellow travelers. The Continental breakfast is very good. The French toast and sausage links are good The staff take good care of the hotel. I do like how the room includes a fridge. The only downside to this year's visit was the hotel was very loud, and we didn't sleep well two of the three nights. When we mentioned this to the front desk, they made sure the noise at the pool after 11 was quieted down. Price is reasonable for Florida. I would recommend this hotel.
We had a really enjoyable 5-night stay here. The rooms and pool were clean and there was just a short drive over the bridge to Navarre Beach. I think I would give it 5 stars if biscuits and gravy had been offered with the hot breakfast. All staff members were friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again if I were unable to find another hotel offering biscuits and gravy.
This hotel could be great. The rooms were nice as was the staff. Complimentary breakfast. This is a non smoking hotel, but I am assuming that only means inside the rooms? Everyone at pool was smoking, you step out your room and someone is smoking outside their room, everywhere you walk outside of your room, people are smoking, ruined the stay. I will not stay here again.
The staff was very friendly and the location is good; just a short drive to public beaches. The hotel was clean upon arriving. There's several restaurants close by (we didn't eat at any). The grounds are very lovely as is the pool. Our room was decent & clean and had a very nice view of the sound side. This is an older hotel and solidly built, meaning if we had neighbors we didn't know it. The room was very quiet. Breakfast was included in the price but we didn't eat, the breakfast area is relatively small and there was about 20 people already in the area. If there was a con, it would have to be the beds. They were very, very uncomfortable...however, compared to the hotel rates in this and surrounding areas, and because of the friendliness of the staff, I would definitely book again.
The location was great. Very quiet and everything you need is right here. Our family really enjoyed this location because of the little private beach, pool and activities next door. We loved the bay side room view. The breakfast was good as well but the time should be extended until at least 9:30 for people that would like to sleep in while on vacation. The rooms were very clean and nice but needed better lighting. Overall...GREAT CHOICE!! We will return!
The pool area was awesome! Tiki torches and lights strung up and a little cabana it was like being on an island. Chairs overlooking the Bay Area. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. I was very pleased!
This hotel is in close proximity to everything from shopping, eating, fishing, shelling, sitting on the beach, walking out on the pier, just a great place to relax and enjoya place that is not over commercialized like other places along the panhandle.
This was our third visit to the Best Western Navarre! Views are great! Accommodation are good! There is a lot to do in the area. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, staff is very nice. We definitely will make this place our annual vacation stop!
A very relaxing hotel. Mary is very friend and awesome. We enjoyed our stay. I wish we could had stayed longer. The pool felt amazing. Breakfast was great. :-) (wish it had biscuits and gravy) Hotel has a great location. Allen took our reservations. He was pleasant and helpful!
Fantastic Hotel right on the water. Outside seating located right at water side. relaxing to sit by water in morning, noon, or evening. Relieve your stress and sit by water side and just watch and listen. Amazing comforting feeling and stress disappears/
Right on the water. Room was ordinary, but the water view was great. Wish it had individual balconies. Heated pool and outside seating for breakfast very pleasant. A bit pricey for the quality of the room, but the view is hard to beat.
Not Happy because of Noise and Jacked up price because of a Holiday Weekend ! Breakfast was So ,So ! Would not stay here again ! On the Sound Side Not the Beach ! Hard to get in and out because of Traffic and Driveway is a little confusing because of the way it is located !
Best well kept hotel I've stayed in. Waterfront is AWSOME!!! Everything on the website about hotel is all true!! Its AWSOME! Price is so well worth it. Breakfast was amazing every morning!Beach outstanding!
The gentleman that checked us in amazing he accommodated our boat and where we should eat. The room was clean and I loved the shampoo. Check out was easy and the staff was top notch. Good breakfast and coffee
Spent a recent long weekend at the Best Western in Navarre. Located on the sound and just across the bridge from the Gulf Public Beach Access. The rooms had been remodeled recently and the new mattresses were very comfortable. I felt that the price was reasonable for the area and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast included eggs, french toast, and sausage as well as the usual cereal, muffins and toast. It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend and I would recommend this place, especially if you're making last minute plans, as we did.
Friendly and efficient check-in / out. Room clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast a bit limited and breakfast area small which made it somewhat cramped. Great beach location with local wildlife (eagle & heron) on display. Conveniently located to restaurants for all budgets.
This was my third time vacationing at this hotel. The family owned hotel is always a joy to stay. They treat you like family. Rooms are extremely clean, location is fantastic and the staff is very friendly and kind. The staff assisted us when we needed an urgent care facility for an ear ache. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable!!!
My family and I stayed for a beach weekend. Wonderful hotel, service was great and beds were super comfy. Great location close to beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. Breakfast was great, even the kids enjoyed it. Pool was great also.
The hotel has a great view of Santa Rosa sound. It is very clean and the room we stayed in was in perfect condition when we arrived. The property has a heated outside pool with a very nice area around the pool. Also on the property is their own small beach area. The staff was all very polite. Would recommend this motel to anyone planning on staying in the Navarre Beach area.
Great hotel in a great location with beautiful view of water and Navarre Beach. Hotel staff is warm and welcoming. I wanted to take the mattress and pillows home with me! What a comfortable night's sleep!
Clean, remodeled room and friendly staff, great view of the bay, a heated pool, free breakfast, what more could I ask for? Only a very short drive across the bay bridge to the beaches. We had a very pleasant stay.
We stayed in a third floor Sound view room. The room provided a nice view of the sound across to Navarre Beach. The hotel has some nice Adirondack chairs looking out at the Sound for guests. The staff (especially the night desk clerk and cleaning staff) were very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was typical hotel fare (serving stops at 9:00).
Best place we have stayed at in a long time . The service and the workers were awesome. The motel was most definitely very clean. Will most definitely recommend this place to all my family and friends
The view was fantastic. I've never had a room on the water before. My boys really enjoyed the sand area, walking down the steps to the bay water, and of course the pool! I really like how the hotel and grounds are laid out. I used the dryer for our wet beach towels, and that was another first for me -- having access to a washer/dryer at a hotel! The carpet really does need cleaned. It did turn our feet black (a first floor room so that may be why), so bring your slippers/socks if it bothers you. I would stay there again without hesitation!! Bathroom was spotless, shower worked great, beds comfy, staff very friendly. Easy access to shopping, food, and bridge to ocean. I loved it!
Excellent service, good location, heated pool, comfortable rooms, clean, friendly staff. Right on the water. The ocean is just a short drive over the causeway. We will definitely stay there again. Can't get better service
Beautiful location on the causeway with a small beach great views. Pool was well used so I assume it was heated. Rooms large clean and everything you needed. Breakfast was o.k. For a budget hotel this was an excellent find.
Is lovley does not tell you it is the Bay Area not the ocean but still lovley. Staff was nice and everything was clean and smelled nice wifi was sorta spotty . The rooms were not as well lit as would like but all in all nice .
Amazing place! The water isn't the bluish you get on the beaches on the other side of the bridge but it is clear. Staff is amazing as well, ?"caring and attentive to your needs. Room was big and clean. We will be back!!!
Don't pass by this hidden gem. Very conveniently located without being in the middle of all the hype. The view from the back of hotel is beautiful & quiet. If you're not looking for luxury but a clean, budget friendly hotel...this is it! Simple continental breakfast included. The pool is small, but it is heated & accomodates the size of hotel. Plenty of tables & chairs to enjoy the atmosphere. Also a gazebo with BBQ grill! This hotel is tucked away but made it nice to go explore Destin, Fort Walton, Pensacola and then have a nice quiet place to spend the night.
Navarre Beach is amazing & just what you need to relax & get away from your normal day to day routine. The Best Western Navarre Hotel is conveniently located near the beach, stores, etc. Also great water way views.
We had a very nice stay, the room and beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, all you have to do is ask if you need anything. The property is well kept, nice pool area, white sand play area and a pavilion to entertain our grandson and his family was very nice. We had a picnic under the pavilion and played with the great grandchildren all afternoon and did not even leave the property. The breakfast was very good. Sitting in the lawn chairs and enjoying the view was worth the price of admission. We will definitely be returning.
Staff very professional. The room was nice and clean. Beautiful location. The bed was very comfortable. The view from our room was right on the water. The chairs by the water were a nice touch.Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone going near the area.
Apart from the nice peaceful location and cleanliness I want to point out that the staff on this hotel is extraordinary friendly. From the cleaning girls to the breakfast server to the front desk you feel really welcomed and they deserve to have this written in an online review. We keep a very good memory of our stay. Thank you
Motel was in a good location. Would have preferred to have been on Oceanside. My wife and I had not been to Navarre before and did not realize we could have stayed in a condo oceanfront for less money. Still all in all, a very good motel.
The staff works above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay! The breakfast bar was delicious and always stocked, rooms and all areas of the hotel sparkling and clean at all times! We will definitely be back!
We stayed here early August 2016. The location with views across the water and the bridge over to the gulf are great. The hotel is relatively small. I am guessing some 60 rooms or so. The rooms are average size with a smallish bathroom, TV, coffeemaker, fridge and microwave. What was slightly weird was that the toilet and bath/shower were together, but the sink was outside the main bathroom, in the main part of the room, but I guess that makes water accessible for when you want to use it to make coffee. We chose a pool/seaview as recommended and were not disappointed. There are not too many of these so make sure you ask ahead if you want one, otherwise your room will face the carpark or the main road. The breakfast is good and varied here, although they start tidying up sometimes before the designated time for finishing breakfast, which was a little annoying. You could eat next to the pool or in a small room opposite reception. It tended to get crowded but there was another side room near the lobby that you could also use. The pool was on the small side at popular times like early evening, however, in the morning not so many people used it. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. As with many hotels of this sort which are not in a town/city centre, you need a car to get to go to restaurants, although there was one next door called Helen Back, which you could walk to (no footpaths/sidewalks) of course. To get to the lovely beaches it was a short ride in the car over the bridge, where you could find plenty of parking, but no shade. Would recommend for a three or four night stay.
We had a 3rd floor room. It was very clean and had a nice view of the bay. The TV was excellent with lots of channels including HBO. The bathroom was clean and had a nice shower. The two big negatives for me were the toilet was lower than a normal height one and second the mattress was almost worn out. It was a good quality one but old and the sides at the middle were badly sloping which mad you feel like you were going to roll out of bed. The free breakfast was what you would expect, ok but not great. If I were to go back to the area I would look for another place to stay.
This is the third time my wife and I stayed at this hotel and we still love it. The front desk staff were always kind, polite, and courteous. The room was extremely clean with plenty of towels and wash rags. The king bed was spacious and comfortable. The continental breakfast was what you expect from this type of hotel - canned fruit, toast, fresh bananas, eggs, sausage, grits, etc. The only issues we had was the AC was rather noisy and the traffic from highway 98 was easily heard in our room. We will definitely be back but will be sure to request a room that does not face the road.
Was pleasantly surprised with the property. Even though not directly on Gulf it is on the Bay with a small beach area, pavillion, pool, grill and other amenties. The property has obviously been recently renovated all the decor had updated beachy colors and was immaculate. Super location to get to local restaurants and onto the Navarre Beach bridge. Would highly recommend!
My family came to Navarre for a wedding. We booked three rooms for five nights and chose the water front rooms. The view from our rooms was exceptional! We could see the sunrise and sunset on the water and just sit outside and enjoy the relaxation. The hotel had a nice pool for my daughter and we would hang out when we had time at the pool around their tables and lounge chairs. The hotel was booked to capacity due to a hurricane on the other side of the state, but it was not loud or noisy. The front desk and maid service were exceptional as well. We were pleasantly surprised about the hotel and it's good service. Only thing missing is a bar/restaurant in the hotel. Although there was always fresh coffee/water in the lobby throughout the day and night and a free morning breakfast.
This hotel is a great location right on the seawall. Nice pool. Boat rental next door. Great breakfast. Went with friends, booked at the last minute and they were very accommodating and kept our rooms together.
We spent the weekend at the Navarre Best Western Water Front for our daughter's wedding. We hosted a rehearsal dinner at their pavilion and it was very nice. The hotel decorated it for us and it was a great value. Deb was excellent to work with along with all the staff. The rooms were nice and it was located near shopping and beaches. We certainly will return.
This hotel was very nice and has a great view of the gulf. Prices are reasonable during the off season. Staff is very friendly and the room was clean and well maintained each day. The only negative we had was the toilet. It sits too low and did not work properly when flushing. They need to consider older folks that need a higher seat and should replace with elongated toilets.
We stayed here one night as an add on cause we didn't won't to go home so soon. We found a deal on Groupon. Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was okay your normal free hotel breakfast. The views were great and you have east access to the beach across the bridge. Keep 8 mind Navarre is not a "happening" place pick Pensacola or Destin for that. The only complaint I had was the location of our room. We were right outside the pool and patio area. It was loud and we heard everything. Ask for for a room away from there. The grounds were great and clean.
This is an older hotel but is well kept in a good location. Our main complaint was the mattress. This mattress was completely worn out. Had to be way past time to replace. Stayed two miserable nights and left.. This room was one with a water view which cost more. If you stay here, check the mattress first thing upon checking in. The employees there can't help what management does but management can do a better job. Management needs to remember that they sell travelers shelter and a good nights rest. This hotel sells good shelter but forget the nights rest.
Great place to stay. Views are phenomenal and location is perfect. This was our second stay in 2016 and we will definitely stay here in the future. Although we normally stay in a condo on the island...we didn't feel like we were missing out on anything staying at BW.
A nice and clean hotel, we were very surprised. Great location on the water and we had a water view room. Pool was very clean. The hotel was an older one but the family had arraigned the wedding guests to stay together at this location. A little expensive for an off season time.
Comfortable beds, very nice, clean room. Everybody was friendly and helpful. We were close to the beach ( across the bridge), had a great view of the sound and the beach across. Pool was nice, breakfast really good. Met many nice folks. I'd stay here again the next time I go to Navarre. Hotel is convenient to grocery store, pharmacy, dollar store, restaurants, etc. Marlene's Sea Shells is right down the road with some great shopping for souvenirs; Scooter's, TC's Front Porch, and the Shrimp Basket are all within a couple of blocks or so with great seafood! Helen Back Again is next door with pizza, salads, sandwiches beer, pool, etc.
Navarre was a good base to also visit Destin, Pensacola, and Panama City. This hotel is about 20 miles from Destin and the same from Pensacola. We were checked in by very friendly staff. Also those cleaning the rooms, serving the breakfast, etc were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was always prompt with good choices. Location is right across the bridge from Navarre, an easy one mile walk across the bridge. Would definitely stay here again.
Stayed three nights here. It is affordable, very updated and beautiful decor. Excellent customer service. Clean, quiet and an amazing view of the sound. Very relaxing, nice pool, decent breakfast and nice areas to sit and relax and enjoy the views. Only a few minutes from public beach access. Right between Destin and Pensacola. We were only 7 minutes drive from our daughter's home in Navarre. It was a nice place to stay when her house had other guests. The room we had was a king waterfront. Super comfy bed and pillows and a wonderful shower!! Nice flat screen tv and microwave and refrigerator. I was pleasantly surprised, not being a particular fan of the Best Western chain, but I'd stay here again and again!!
This is a pretty great motel! We travel in the fall when there is less crowds and the rates are cheaper. This is our 3rd visit to the Best Western Navarre, and we have always had a good experience. Location and access to the beach are pretty dang good. Just a 3 min drive over the bay bridge and you're on the gulf. And thats what we go for. Its quiet and very relaxing. Breakfast is ok. Most of the food items like pancakes, french toast and biscuits come from a frozen state, but they are warmed up and are just alright. Its not the waffle house, but it is ok. Rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are a little harder than we are used to, but adequate. And at the end of the day, you can sit outside in adirondack chairs on the edge of the bay and watch the fish jump. There is a nice pool, although we never use it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy access to many restaurants.
This hotel is very convenient with easy access to navarre beach. The pool area is nice, on the water front. Continental breakfast was great, lots of choices. In room coffee and the front desk staff was pleasant and willing to recommend local restaurants. Great location and a great price.
Excellent waterfront hotel. When we stayed, it was peacefully quiet, and the staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The rooms were clean and appropriately appointed, with comfortable beds, fantastic A/C, and useful amenities, such as an iron, ironing board, blow dryer, ice bucket, etc. Pretty standard hotel, but the location with its view of the sound, makes it even nicer. The pool looked like it needed a scrub, but to be fair, it had been raining a lot.
Cannot rave enough about this motel..right on the Santa Rosa Sound. Very relaxing. Ultra Clean. Spotless. The staff are very friendly and make you feel right at home. Beautiful pool. And I just loved the pavilion with the mist fans. A very positive experience. Located in a nice area close to Navarre Beach.
great location, friendly staff, nice, clean place to stay for the price. the only negative thing I have to say is that the mattress was too firm for my liking. breakfast was hot and plentiful. love the chairs that are provided, to sit and look out over the ocean.
well worth the money, even has a nice bar right next door. great pool and micro beach. Navarre Beach proper just across the bridge. very convenient location for everything. has waterfront and pool view options also ha few dollars additional.
Good location on the Bay Side of the Navarre Bridge. Clean affordable rooms close to everything. Helen Back Bar is next door with great food and entertainment. Winn Dixie is across the Street. Juana Pagoda Cross the Bridge is great to go and enjoy water activities/ live music, family friendly.
Our stay was a great experience! Staff was fabulous and clean room. Will stay again if I come to Navarre. The view was beautiful and the pool area and grounds were well maintained. We went to Pensacola for the Trump rally and was pleased that we choose Best Western in Navarre even though we had to drive a little.
I went to Navarre Beach to watch my granddaughter play Lacrosse and stayed one night. The people at the desk were very nice and accommodating. The location of this Best Western is in a a very calming location as far as the water goes. We "lucked up" and even got to see a fireworks show while we we're there! Enjoyed our stay very much.
Wonderful waterfront hotel. Pool was awesome and just steps away from the gulf. Very biker friendly hotel. We met some cool people while sitting in the evening just watching the water. Water sports equipment rental place right next door.
This was a really nice hotel with great staff and an amazing view. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms were exceptionally clean. The air conditioners work excellent! There is not a bad room location on the property. From all rooms you have a great view of the water and most rooms overlook the pool. I would recommend staying here as I would again.
Great experience from start to finish. Have never seen a more sociable, professional staff. The view from the breakfast nook is outstanding. Great location: about 5 minutes to Navarre Beach (you can see it from breakfast nook, multiple restaurants, and shopping. I highly recommend this Hotel
Stayed here last year when we went to Navarre for the first time....hotel was great, staff was great, rooms were great, very clean....morning breakfast was ok....great community coffee in the lobby....love the outside area on the bay and around the pool, great place to relax and enjoy yourself, easy to access everything and just minutes from the Gulf....would definitely stay again.
This was a great place to stay. It was very clean, great pool, and had an awesome view of the Bay. The sunsets are beautiful! It's a short drive over the bridge to breathtakingly beautiful Navarre Beach. The only drawback was the air conditioner in our room was very loud.
This was a nice place to stay. The people were very nice and helpful, it was clean, pool was great and close to everything we wanted to do.it was kind of a old school motel which we liked with a great staff. When I go back to florida I will for sure stay there again.
Our family of four stays in this hotel on our yearly (sometimes twice yearly) vacation to Navarre. You get excellent bang for you buck as well as a convenient location to beach access and Navarre pier. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and the room and hotel grounds are always clean. For this price point it is hard to beat.
Clean, good location, friendly staff. Only setbacks: ice machine broke but was quickly fixed; noise was a distraction at night. The location was excellent and in the middle of the tourist area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our second stay and we will stay there again if we come back.
We had a great time at this hotel and will definitely stay here again. The staff: Sally (day desk), great lady and friendly Elizabeth (night desk), very friendly and helpful with local information Kristin (maid service), very professional serving our room daily Michelle (Breakfast), Bless her heart, she had her hands full setting up and keeping the breakfast stocked while smiling the whole time and dealing with rude, sloppy, piggish, and uncaring people (to include all of their spoiled, sloppy, piggish and rude children). Best bananas I've had in a while. Could use some different varieties of fruit. The WiFi was a little weak on the side facing the water but was usable. There is no longer a toll to cross the bridge as previous posts stated. Good value, location, time, and nice people working there.
Stayed in room 306. That is obviously on the third level on the south side of the building overlooking the bay. The room was of average size, clean and comfortable. There is no in room safe and the refrigerator is a refrigerator only, meaning it does not have a freezer. There is a microwave in the room. There is a Winn-Dixie within walking distance across the street as well as a couple of restaurants, Kentucky Fried Chicken and Taco Bell on a place called Helen Back Again. So far our trip has been quite enjoyable and I don't foresee that changing.
Great hotel with a tropical environment. Location to beaches and restaurants, etc., is very convenient. I would highly recommend for a great family oriented hotel. Plenty of things to do and places to go.
Stayed at this hotel last week. First time. Lots of parking. Clean hotel, nice people working there. No problems at all. Pool was practically empty. We took a drive over the bridge to the wonderful beach. I was only missing a private balcony but I knew when I booked it wasn't there :) Enjoyed our little breakfast.
This is a motel probably built in the 50s or 60s, the type with an A/C unit on the short wall below the window by the outside door. You walk into the room & see the sink area at the back. It's been updated and looks nice though and the A/C unit (still functioning) now has a wall control. Bed was pretty comfortable with plenty of pillows. Internet kept going down though abs breakfast wasn't what it was advertised.
This was close to the water and there is a LITTLE beach area in walking distance. The big beach area is less than 10 minutes away and there are lots of things to do in walking distance of the hotel. There were weddings both nights we stayed which we worried would be inconvenient but actually made for a really nice ambiance by the pool and didn't interfere at all with our activities. There is a grill in the pool area as well, which we utilized the second night. The pool is clean and the view is beautiful!
This hotel was one of the friendliest we have ever stayed at. Everyone was great. Breakfast was very good, it was so clean and very comfortable. Loved staying here and will be staying there again in a few months. Staff was the friendliest ever!
Can not say enough good things about this hotel...loved it. Our room overlooked the bay with a fantastic view. We swam in the bay everyday (you may need water shoes) the water is clean and not as choppy as the ocean-great for kids and really shallow pretty far out. The pool is nice too. This area is not as busy as other parts of the coast but has some very good restaurants without the crowds of the larger towns. We were very pleased and will probably come back next year!!
What a great location, super friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast each morning (with a smile, thank you Michelle). A nice view of the beautiful waterfront. Everything we asked for we received very timely. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff! WE WILL stay here again. Thank you
My family really loved our stay here. The room is nicer than some similar hotels and the microwave and refrigerator are a plus. The staff has been very helpful and friendly. The pool area is very nice and e continental breakfast is really good. I also like how close we are to everything from grocery stores and restaurants to multiple beach sites.
this is an older property with some cosmetic updates. the room was nice but there is only 1 slow elevator and the pool is small. staff is very nice and accommodating and the breakfast buffet was on the better side of usual. i just thought the rates were pretty high for what i got.
Staff was very helpful as my family and I had a late check-in. Lovely room overlooking the sound. All staff and attendants were very pleasant. Good breakfast with variation. Computer for use in the lobby, and coffee available in the lobby 24/7. Would stay there again.
Would reccomend this motel for a wonderful place to stay. We stay in a Bay front room. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help and make the stay wonderful.
Pleasant Stay , not as busy as Fort Walton Beach. Close to shops and Public beach. Good selection on Breakfast. Very quiet with excellent staff. Would highly recommend, better value than Fort Walton or Destin. Only 15 minute drive to attractions.
FRIENDLY!!!! The rooms are very clean (Best Housekeeping team around). A very good breakfast with many choices provided by Michelle who really cares how good and how clean the eating area is. Katie and Sally are very helpful and knowledgeable at the front desk. Clean pool. If you are between Ft.Walton and Pensacola this is the place to stay
A total 10! The property is beautiful, well kept, friendly and caring staff. My trip was planned for Rest and Relaxation and I was very pleased with my entire stay. I couldn't have ask for more. This is a Gem of a place to stay.
Great place to stay, close to beach and many amenities, also close for day trips to Musuems and other activities in this area. Very friendly helpful staff. Lots of nice things to do on the property as well. Would stay here again for sure.
The hotel was easy to find. From the moment you enter the lobby it's evident the management and staff are top notch. Absolutely beautiful lobby and rooms, very clean and modern. Really nice clean pool and outside area .The view is exceptional. It's close to numerous great restaurants and activities for families besides being close to the beach. We will definitely stay here again.
I critique everything & I have only "Wonderful" things to say! Was able to check a little sooner than expected! Clean rooms , "Extremely" well run facility with very "Helpful" staff who answers questions with a smile! Grounds of hotel have "Stunning" views and exhibit & "Island" feel ! Hotel is "Beautiful" lit up around the pool area & surrounding area's! Ease to dining is a plus , without extreme traffic you have in most beach area's ! Can't wait until we return !!!!
Beautiful views of the sound, small beach area on the property, close to many attractions and eateries. Room was very clean, staff helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed this stay and will certainly consider it again if we visit this area!
When wanting to add another night to my stay, the price went up 40.00. Really? You would think they wouldn't try to up the price on someone who had stay 6 nights already with them. Staff not very customer service friendly, just gave me the key and room number, no smile or thank you.
Good hotel and was fairly clean. Employees were very nice and responsive to our needs. The rooms were good size for a hotel. I liked how the hotel was situated to Santa Rosa sound.Breakfast was very good and staff was very helpful and kind. Would highly recommend for anyone traveling to Navarre, FL. Easy to get to, close to many attractions. Overall a great place.
This hotel was great. It was clean, very close to beach and things to do. It is located in beautiful spot and just one light from bridge that takes you to Navarre beach gulf side. It is located right on the sound of Navarre. The free breakfast was awesome, Michelle does a great job of setting it up and keeps it stocked. The staff is very nice and helped with any questions and even gave some ideas on things to do in the area. I arrived 4 hrs before check in and they had a room ready for us and allowed us to get into our room no problem. I will stay here again on our next trip to Navarre.
This is the third time we've stayed here and they never let us down! We had a fantastic view of the sound and Navarre Island. They also have a great pool and cabana area where they play music and have a grill for visitor use! The staff has always been helpful and courteous. Always a great place to stay in this beautiful town!
My husband, stepdaughter and I stayed here one night on our road trip from Houston to Orlando. The rooms are nice, and spacey. The beds are comfortable. We were hoping to be beachfront, but it was a bay view motel. We didn't try their breakfast, but the customer service here was great! :)
great stay, enjoyed every minute. close to every thing. nice pool. great view of the water, very romantic setting with the tiki torches all around and the Adirondack chairs by the water. over all great experience.
Love this motel! It's very clean and great service. I will be coming back to stay here when we come to the beach again. The motel is only maybe 3 min drive from the main beach. They have a great breakfast. They also have a wager and dryer, $2 for each but it comes in handy with all the sand. There's lots of eating places right across the street and a Winn Dixie.
The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. They told us fun things to do while in the area and places to eat. The rooms were very clean, and everything worked properly. My family really enjoyed the stay, and the price was a lot cheaper than some of the other hotels right on the beach. Even though we were not right on the beach, the hotel is waterfront. You see a beautiful view of the sound, and the beach is only 2 minutes away (with free parking). There is an area for corn hole, a grill, and an outdoor shower by the pool area to wash the sand off. I would recommend this hotel to those wanting to stay in Navarre.
We booked our stay in March on trip advisor. Couldn't beat the price for a bay view and small beach!. Our king bed was so SOFT including the pillows which we really loved. It was quiet despite being full, there were no people you had to look out for like other hotels. The view was amazing adarondike chairs were provided and we spent every free moment sitting on the bay enjoying the view and boat traffic (which wasn't a lot). Our rooms were clean and had a very good tv selection with several HBO channels. The evenings outside there were so quiet and peaceful, there is a water sports business next door which we enjoyed riding jets skis, the drive to Navarre beach is literally only 5 minutes away from the hotel. We will be staying here again!!
GREAT LOCATION, on the waterfront , great view, nice room, great staff, good am food, very helpful, especially the front desk help.location is next to navarra bridge easy acess to the beach seconds away.
After driving for three days, we needed someplace nice and quiet to just relax a little. We arrived late, but still could tell that we had a wonderful view! Our room was literally just feet from the waters edge. There were cute little beach chairs right outside our door, and we were able to sit and watch the thunderstorms that were moving in. The room was clean and quaint. Any staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. What a wonderful place to stay for just some down time. I would say the only negative thing would be the parking. The parking was very limited and since we were pulling a trailer, it was even worse. When we went to leave the next morning, we had been blocked in.
We were extremely pleased with our stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly, professional and responsive. The location is relaxing and comfortable and the hotel is clean and modernized. Our stay was just a stop-over during a rushed business road trip and just couldn't have been better.
I was so pleased with our trip to Navarre and our stay at this hotel. The water views were so lovely and the access to Navarre beach was so effortless. The location of the hotel was central to everything--shopping, restaurants and the beach. We were happy with the accommodations of the hotel, the beds and the helpfulness of the hotel staff. We did not lack for anything during our brief stay. We will be back!!
We had a wonderful hotel stay. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, breakfast was very good and staff was very helpful and kind. Would highly recommend for anyone traveling to Navarre, FL. Easy to get to, close to many attractions. Overall a great place.
My husband and I wanted to spend a few days at Navarre Beach so we chose a hotel rather than a condo. The location of this hotel is great for getting to the beach and being located on US98 where most restaurants and shopping are. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The service was excellent and all the staff was friendly and welcoming.
This is a waterfront facility but it is not the prettiest view but certainly nicer than the alternative which is looking at a highway or a busy intersection. Most all of the rooms face the water. The price was actually a bit cheaper than some of the other hotels which were on the highway. You need not travel far to get to anything you need.
This hotel is located right off of the main road and is a 2-3 minute walk to the bridge that takes you over the sound to the beach. Free breakfast which included waffles, eggs, cereals, pastries, all very good and plentiful. Lots of room to eat by the pool. The pool was clean and well maintained. The location of this hotel is pretty perfect for beach access, no need to drive over the bridge if traffic is bad, just walk over! Free parking and plenty of it. Motel style rooms with the doors on the outside, but we didn't mind because it was nice to come out in the morning and watch the sunrise. Clean and comfortable rooms, definitely recommend if you're in the area.
Nice hotel got a good deal online, stayed there while visiting the beaches in the area it's nice and quiet. It is on the waterfront over looking bay and if you don't want to go into Destin there some nice beaches not far from the hotel
Whenever we're in Navarre Beach , this is the place where we always stay. It's so convenient to restaurants, grocery stores, and the pier and beautiful beach just across the bridge. We like the location is because it's quiet, relaxing and peaceful . The services is great. Breakfast is ok if you're not really picky eater. The cost of the room is not bad. Will alway stay Best Western when we're in Navarre Beach.
We have been here twice in the past two years and we love it every time. The price is great for being on the water & the views are awesome. The staff are very friendly and so are the other guests. The rooms are clean and everything we needed was there for our 3 night stay. The first time we were on the pool side & this year we faced the sound. Both views are wonderful. We didn't use the pool, but it appeared clean and was never really busy. At night the tiki torches are lit up as well as the pool area, there is music playing, and chairs set up in sand by the sound to sit and enjoy the views. A very beachy atmosphere at night. We love walking around the property along the water side & sitting by the water star gazing. The views from day to night are beautiful here. Minutes away from Navarre beach, dining, gas stations, and even a Walmart. There are plenty of things to do near the hotel. We will return again next year.
We spent 2 nights in a waterfront room with a nice view. Enjoyed the chairs by the waterfront and the proximity to Navarre beach and the national seashore. Pool area was pleasant and room was fine. My daughter thought she left an item in the room. When she called to see if we could drive back an hour and get it, she was told they were busy and couldn't check until the next morning. She explained that we were on our way out of town and was told they would check and call back within an hour, but they never called.
I stayed here with my boy and his friend. The front dedk was real helpful and friendly. The room was clean and perfect for our visit. It was raining so we didn't get to use the pool area but i am looking forward to another visit when the weather is better. Nice Place
Had a last minute trip to take to Pensacola and didn't want to pay what they were asking. We found this Best Western just 30 minutes from Pensacola, so glad we did. It's on the Bay, all kind of restaurants close by as well as the beach. No, it's not a 5 star, but it not supposed to be. Breakfast was pretty good, but I think the best thing was how helpful and nice the staff was. Will stay here again.
We stayed 8 nights. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the location was great and the breakfasts were great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. The housekeeping people were friendly and did a great job. The desk people were very friendly and accommodating and the kitchen help was very friendly and did a great job of keeping all the food stocked and hot.
This was simply a stop over and we were very pleased with the accommodations. Pool area was clean and there was also a barbecue area for you to use. Looks like they may host parties also, as there was an outbuilding next-door to the hotel with a little bit of a private beach. Nice fitness room and good breakfast.
This is an awesome place to stay. The view is great, the breakfast is plentiful and the service was good. We stayed in room 300, which had a side view of the sound. The location is close to several restaurants and Navarre Beach is just across the bridge. We would stay here again.
we reserved the hotel as we were driving to FL. We had a waterfront room, dounstairs. Beds were comfortable and and hotel was closed to resturants. Look forward to staying here and other Best Westerns soon
Excellent Every Time!!! Wonderful Staff!!! Michelle always makes sure breakfast is enjoyable. Breakfast is usually eggs, sausage, grits, toast, or biscuits, muffins, or yogurt. Hot or cold...there is always a variety to choose from. ..at least three or four hot and three or four cold choices (give or take). In fact, all of the staff have been great!!! The staff are very helpful. Also, my room is Always clean!!! They are knowledgeable about the area and offer to help whenever possible. I travel for work and stay here every chance I can.
A beautiful beach and great hotel. We enjoyed our stay and felt lucky to have found this hotel. The trip to Navarre beach was an adventure. It is a real nice beach with white sand. It has a national seashore. A great place to visit.
Loved staying the weekend here! Having been recently renovated, we enjoyed comfortable beds, room climate and a wonderful shower. The breakfast they provided was ample with lots of choices for everyone. I might add that breakfast was eaten on the patio overlooking the pool and the bay. Very relaxing! The pool was very nice and a comfortable water temp. Overall, this was a great place for us and the grounds were lovely. Highly recommend this place. Lots of good eating places nearby too!
You can not beat the value and scenery anywhere on the emerald coast! with my wife and 2 kids and had a blast in the heated pool overlooking the bay!! Do yourself a favor and book early to insure there are rooms available!!!!
Great stay! Rooms were spotless and staff very attentive! Beautiful views of sound. Michelle in the breakfast room was very good. Enjoyed the heated pool and exercise equipment was very good quality. I look forward to my next visit! This is a great place to stay near National Seashore beaches.
Clean and comfy! Nice location with restaurants and fast food nearby, some just across the street. There is an attraction of putt-putt, waverunner rental, etc right next door. The hotel has a small private beach and they provide games like corn hole. Hot breakfast and hospitable staff. Be warned though, if you are paying cash for a reservation, they will charge your reserving credit card for the first night before you arrive and before the 4pm cancellation deadline stated on the Best Western website. If it had not been for that I would have given this hotel an excellent rating. We will be returning to this hotel if we are back in the area.
This hotel has it all including a super view. The rooms were excellent and so was the service. The complementary breakfast was great, it had everything. Its easy to get in and out. The parking is convenient. I intend to revisit in the near future.
We only stayed here for two nights but thoroughly enjoyed it. I would suggest a room away from the pool area as it is very loud at times and the sound travels right through the windows and walls. Also, be aware, the free breakfast only goes to 9:00AM.
It was a simple, clean and the service was great. If you end up in Navarre, this is a safe choice. The bed was ok, the breakfast was better than expected and it was close enough to the beach. Its also in a good location to walk to a few things.
Was in town for the Tough Mudder and this hotel offered a discounted price for those running the Mudder. Registration was hassle free, check in was quick and simple, room was large enough for me, my wife, and two teens. Bed was comfortable and clean. Vanity area was large enough for family. Shower had good water pressure, ample room, and was clean. Large television with full remote, desk, and chair were well above normal 2 night stay hotels. Overall the hotel was clean, staff was professional and friendly, and the cont. breakfast was good.
We really enjoyed our visit at Best Western Navarre Waterfront! The service was excellent. Also, they had great meals. I enjoyed the heated pool which was nice since it was cool. The hot breakfast was a plus!!
We enjoyed this quiet hotel with view of the Sound! Reasonably priced and centrally located in Navarre so you can go into Pensacola or down the other way to Fort Walton Beach, Panama Beach etc. The building is showing its age but still a nice place to stay! Good value!
We stayed 6 nights and we were happy with the hotel. We would have liked a private balcony but we could sit out on in front of the room on the 3rd floor without any one bothering us. Good location. Hotel is is good shape. Pool area was nice. Helicopter tours took off right next to the hotel and the noise in the mornings was a little annoying.
This is our second year returning to this hotel. The room, staff, location are excellent. The breakfest is a added value to the stay. We will be returning next year to the same place. We love it here and would recommend it to friends and family.
Drove 1,350 mile round trip so that a shut in could experience the Gulf Of Mexico. No matter where I go, which is quite often, I always check with Best Western before I make reservations, and very seldom if ever am I disappointed. This motel was no different! Michelle who takes care of the breakfast area was extremely friendly as were the check in and check out clerks.
Excellent motel. Newly remodeled, clean, comfortable, and friendly. Great location at the foot of the bridge going to Navarre Beach. Every detail was taken care of......never needed to ask for anything.....room was very well equipped. We would highly recommend this motel.....only drawback is the outside entrances to the rooms.
We checked out of a Quality Inn 4 days early to come here and we could not be more pleased. A super friendly staff, a beautiful atmosphere, really clean rooms, a great location, I could go on and on.... My father in law has stayed here in the past and highly recommended it and he was right on. We are so happy, we will be returning guests for sure!!!
Stayed here for 4 nights last week. Very satisfied with our choice. Very clean, well maintained. Room was clean, bed comfortable also. Highly recommend this hotel! We had a "water view" room. Excellent.
We were quite happy with our choice of the Best Western in Navarre. This is a family friendly, comfortable place to spend a few days in the sun, Located on the Sound, it is a stone's throw from the beaches at Okaloosa. Nice views with dolphins swimming by daily. The outdoor facilities are very nice. Pool is clean and a nice size. The room are very clean and the staff friendly. Close to restaurants and not far from the larger area of Destin.
This hotel was located along a busy highway, but offered gorgeous views of blue water and sky. The hotel is oriented in such a way that most rooms probably have good views. The downstairs lobby/breakfast area was bright and pleasant, and also offered a nice view. Breakfast selections were a little better than average. The room was very clean and comfortable. Restaurants are nearby, but not really within easy walking distance. The Santa Rosa Island segment of Gulf Islands National Seashore is a short drive across the bridge, and offers long stretches of beautiful, uncrowded (in February) white sand beach.
I found this hotel last minute by using my mobile. The Front Desk Manager was professional, exceptionally nice and she matched the internet rate, which was a few dollars cheaper than their typical walk-in rate. I ended up with the best room in the hotel - top floor, corner overlooking the bay. Absolutely stunning views, the room was clean and well-appointed, and the air conditioning/heat worked perfectly, make it a nice comfortable stay. The view overlooking the pool at night was a nice bonus. Although it is close to the bridge, I didn't notice any traffic noise. The complimentary continental breakfast the next morning was ample and fresh. Staff was again very accommodating and friendly. I would definitely stay here again, and plan to soon! To the lovely front desk manager, THANK YOU and I hope you had a great vacation!
Excellent value facility. Very spacious, comfortable rooms. Most rooms have cable TV, wifi, microwave and refrigerator. Some rooms have water view, some with pool view, some with a garden view. Excercise room available. It is a small facility with all the amenities - very pretty and relaxing. BBQ grill available to guests. The hotel faces the Sound - short trip across bridge to Gulf of Mexico beaches.
Loved this hotel! Was very clean and beds were comfortable! The staff were nice especially Michelle Casey I think she was the manager. She greeted us when we came to eat breakfast and was so friendly which is something rare these days! The breakfast was amazing so much variety and I actually miss it right now especially the oatmeal best I ever had! The water views are breathtaking! Love the cute colorful andriak chairs overlooking the water made for some beautiful evenings with a glass of wine. Would definitely recommend to all :)
This hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. Excellent location neare Navarre Beach at a very good off-season rate. Nice breakfast selection. Good in-room amenities including fridge. Nice bath products. Overall I would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure trips.
We had a king room on Navarre Beach. The staff were great, the breakfast food and area were served with exceptional care. We will end of trip with another night here. It was a great experience and we were not disappointed at all, except that the pool was cold. But we were told that the weather had been very bad before we had arrived.
The hotel was perfect for our needs. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. They had a lot of choices. We will definitely stay here again! The hotel was located for easy beach access, lots of dining, grocery stores close by, and easy in and out.
Very friendly staff.Near the bridge to Navarre Beach.Close to many restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and quiet overlooking the pool and the bay between Navarre and Navarre Beach.Great breakfast in the morning.
Everybody was very accommodating. Breakfast was good. Large selection. very nice view. close to many eating establishments.. Large room with large bath area was great. The review must have 200 characters minimum.
This is a good hotel and the only problem we had was there were used towels in the closet upon arrival. Makes me wonder how much effort was done from previous guests. The area had plenty of restaurants to choose, staff at the hotel was good, and overall experience was good.
Very modern, clean and quiet! I was very pleasantly surprised by this motel. It was so quiet at night that I would've believed we were the only guests but for the cars in the parking lot and other people at breakfast. The location was great, very near my son's house. We hope to be back in the warmer weather.
This motel was the perfect waterfront location. On a main road with several restaurants nearby - some within walking distance. We stayed on 3rd floor with water view - smelling the salty air in the breeze was great. Cute adirondacks to sit and enjoy the water view also. We were just there for a quick overnight - but are strongly considering a return visit for a few days. The motel is close to the bridge. We did have breakfast and it was ok. Room was clean with good mattress and pillows and well appointed. Will stay again if in area.
The staff at this hotel is what made our stay OUTSTANDING! They went above and beyond to assure our stay was very comfortable. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was experiencing upgrade construction and even the construction crews were polite and helpful. We will be staying at this hotel again!
My son was the first military parachute accident this last August and was put up at Best Western for his funeral. Great location with beautiful views of the bay and the bridge. The hotel staff was the best caring people I have every met in a hotel. Thank you
We were in town visiting our kids for Thanksgiving. This hotel has the perfect location. Our check-in was quick and easy. We recommend the water view rooms (extra charge). Our 2nd floor unit was clean & quiet, the beds & pillows were comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful! The view was beautiful. The extra price paid was reasonable. Would have been nice to have a few different breakfast items offered occasionally, instead of the same thing each morning. However, what was there was OK and it was included in the price of the room. The coffee was good! We would stay here again.
This hotel is located in a very good spot. Close to the grocery and restaurants and close to the beaches. The rooms are clean and you are located right on the bay. At night it is very quaint around the pool and outdoor area with tiki torches and there is a sandy beach to play
This is an older hotel with room doors that open to the outdoors, so as long as you are comfortable with that, I would recommend this hotel. The desk staff was friendly and my room was amazingly clean. No chipped paint, no stained caulking. In fact, my room looked to be freshly painted. The shower head was better than most hotels with plenty of water pressure. My room was facing the water so my view in the morning was very nice. Breakfast was ok.
Stayed here for a quick weekend to see son. It is in a great central location. Beware it is right on the busy street. Request a water side room(extra cost). Room is clean partially updated. The shower/toilet is not. Linens are fresh and clean. Odd there is no decor/artwork in the room and just one mirror. Direct tv many channels. Free wi-if, great heated pool. A small sandy beachfront area, not for swimming. Fridge and microwave in room. It is "motel" with doors outside. Price paid was good. Free breakfast, could use a few more protein options, but good. Very quick check in process.
This looks like an older hotel that has been completely redone. They did a really nice job with the update. The room was large and very clean. It is on the bay so if you ask for the back 4 room on each of the 3 floors you have a water view. It is located near many fast food restaurants and at the bridge that goes out to Navarre Beach The staff was excellent. The breakfast was what you would expect. We will certainly stay here again.
Our second trip to Navarre and first time staying at the Best Western Waterfront. We requested a room with a view of the water and they put us on the second floor that had a spectacular view of the Navarre Sound. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool area with an additional area for grilling steak or burgers. The staff were very friendly and helpful in giving us directions to the closest emergency room our first night there. Thankful it was a minor incident, and the medical staff at the Gulf Breeze Hospital took good care of my problem immediately. We plan to return and enjoy another stay at the Best Western again soon.
We stopped here after spending a long day on the road with a super storm approaching. We got the last room on the first floor with a water view for $101 and because everything was so very nice we decided to wait out the storm through the next day and night. It was fascinating to watch the storm in the safety of our room. The room had 2 queen beds, a desk etc. The bathroom was a bit small, but nicely remodeled. However, it could have used some grab bars and a textured bottom in the tub. The breakfast buffet was exceptional and all the staff helpful and friendly.
My wife and I stayed here for six nights and truly enjoyed our stay. The amenities are great, the room was clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The hotel staff was great! Very kind and courteous. Will definitely stay here again and again.
This is our third stay at the Best Western Navarre Beach in the last four years. We were not disappointed, save for the fact that we did not get the room we requested, however the room we did get, 109 was sufficient for our needs. Always a pleasure to stay here.
Good location. Mexican restaurant right across the street. On the bay but not expensive. Breakfast was good. Hotel is clean. Pool area very good. The hotel has nice seating outside of the pool area. There is traffic noise.
water was very soft, room felt damp, air conditioner did not cool off room, towels was not fresh, room was not clean, great area for eating and breakfast area was very clean. swimming pool was very clean, beach area right on hotel suite
Room, breakfast and bed was average. I was expecting a nicer room for the price. You are paying more for the location. If there is a band on the beach, you can hear it in chairs by the dock which was very nice. Staff was friendly.
All the rooms have been recently remodeled. Very Clean and Courteous staff. The breakfast was a real treat as well. Scrambled eggs, toast, sausage. Nice perk to a nice place. I will be staying here again.
My husband and I stayed here on a short trip to the beach. We asked for a water view, and were treated to a spectacular sunset, sitting in the chairs overlooking the intercostal waterway. This is a quiet location, and the property is well-kept. We used a "free-night" coupon we earned during an extended summer road trip. Check in was quick, easy, and friendly. We have stayed here several times in the past and will definitely do so again.
Best Western is a good value. Navarre has a nice beach, and fishing pier. Really enjoyed my stay. The view of the Santa Rosa Sound from the window was really nice. The included breakfast was a nice touch also. The staff was friendly and helpful.
