Wife and I visited Pensacola primarily to view a practice session of the Navy's Blue Angels. We chose Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn based on prior experience. Every thing about the Motel was just as we expected.

"Good Hotel"

Hotel was nice and well kept. We had no problems at all from the hotel itself. However two hours after we arrived the TV/Internet went down and never came back during our one night stay. It WASN'T the hotels fault. The Service Provider for that area had a huge outage that took out the hotel and surrounding area. There was really nothing that the hotel could do, so I did a lot of reading that evening. The hotel overall was nice and what you would expect. The breakfast was OK, they had some hot items such as sausage and scrambled eggs, with the normal items such as cereal, juices, toast and yogurt. The staff were friendly and professional. Would stay there again if in that area.

"Disappointed..."

Thought this was going to be ok when I saw the libby and upon entering our room. Upon further review it went downhill. Shower curtain was torn and raveling. Mildew on grout next to tub. Scarf on bed was dirty. Pulled back sheets and found holes/stains.

"Amazing Hotel and Staff"

This is a wonderful hotel with amazing staff. Everyone is so nice and courteous. The rooms were so clean and in order. Breakfast was really good. We had another booking that was a terrible experience so we walked into the lobby of this hotel without a reservation and they accommodated our every need and gave us a great nightly rate. This hotel gets my highest recommendation.

"Not worth the money"

This hotel location looks like a truck stop area very isolated. The exterior is in need of a remodel but the lobby looks clean, the room was old and the bathroom was older old toilet seat rip shower curtain. The breakfast was terrible very little to choose from. Please save your money don't come to this hotel

Not sure about this review. We are not a truck stop nor near a truck stop. We are remodeled inside completed last year. Our breakfast has over 32 items hot and cold and sugar free and gluten free items so not sure about that comment either. Please read our other reviews and you will see this guest apparently had the wrong Best Western. Thanks Melissa

"Worst breakfast ??"

I spend one night at this hotel. The lobby was clean and small then when I went to my designated room it was clean and my only issue was the breakfast it was horrible. There's nothing much to eat. I saw two bananas way too old, the bacon way overcooked and the bread looked old no fresh?? so if you are hungry go out a eat something fresh and don't bother going to the breakfast room, very disappointed. ????????????

Hello Claudia I feel like you have the wrong hotel. We have over 32 items on our breakfast bar from pancakes.. oatmeal bar.. yogurt bar.. hot sandwich bar.. fruit.. juices.. cereal.. bagels.. so much more! Maybe you stayed at Sure Stay Plus by Best Western on Pensacola Blvd.

My husband and I were driving back home from Dallas/Plano/Frisco/Little Elm TEXAS, very tired, we alswasy have a good experience with Best Wester Plus so when we saw it driving looking for a place to rest we drive in, and as soon we step in at the front desk .. here was Dusty (Dusty Bryson) and he greed us and make us laugh!! I told him: I wish every associate at the front dest would be like you!! We travel a lot, anbd Dusty is the best!! Friendly, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. We have a great check in and happy and relaxing!! Our room was great, we enjoy our stay and checking out with Tashe Depriest was great and easy too!!

"Weekend beach trip"

Upon checking the i noticed the lobby was very clean and staff extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable (We had 2 queen beds that were comfortable). The pool is small but nice. And breakfast is good in morning, it was just ladies on our beach trip and we felt very safe would definitely recommend

"Clean and safe."

I was here during my Miami-San Francisco road trip. Pensacola was my first stop from Miami. It was very long drive from Miami. It was already night when I arrived here. I need to buy some foods and water. Walmart neighborhood was very close. Room was clean so I could sleep very well.

"Awesome"

We arrived at 2 am and the hostess was amazing! She got us a room and made sure we were taken care of. Room was quiet. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast. Amazing and accommodating place. Staff is friendly!

"Very Nice Stay Experience"

Stayed twice as half-way point between central Arkansas and Florida Space Coast, going and coming. Very, very nice stay each time. Pleasant staff and great amenities. Breakfast was great, and room was inviting each night. And a special thanks to Amanda for going above and beyond! Will recommend to all, and will definitely stay here next trip through Pensacola.

"Cleanest Hotel"

We live several hours away and our son was having outpatient surgery at a nearby hospital, but had to be in town for 3 days. We choose this hotel because the ratings were high in the internet. It was worth it. The price was average for the area, but the service was great. Breakfast was wonderful and the associates even offered a tray to help us get food to the room. The housekeeping employee brought us extra blankets and cleaned everything perfectly. The carpet on the hallway was being replaced and the workers were so friendly, they even assisted us in getting our child to the room. Best hotel we have stayed at in a long time! Definitely great place to stay.

stayed at this hotel as we always do, twice in the last 10 days. breakfast is beyond awesome, rooms always clean and ready to occupy. on my most recent visit, amber was especially helpful to me at the front desk with some extra situations i had. checking out was equally good, although i had to leave before breakfast was ready, front check out lady gave me some to go food for the ride. we have stayed here many times and never a bad situation.

""Very Comfortable Beds""

After driving for nine hours, this hotel met all our needs---a good swimming pool, quiet air conditioner, very comfortable beds, very clean room, and friendly staff. Check in was quick and his restaurant recommendation at our request was wonderful and just down the street. Breakfast offered a wide variety of food. Coffee was good! Highly recommend this as a great place to stop on your way from Texas to Orlando.

"Good for the price "

Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, breakfast was good for the price, only complaint is the room had a slightly unpleasant odor but overall was clean. Keeping expectations in check with respect to the price this is a good roadside stop to catch up on sleep and hit the ground running the next day

"Wow"

Pulled in late night very weary from a full day of packing and driving. I wanted to keep going but my expecting wife persuaded me to pull over for the night and I am so glad that I did!! Judy at the front desk was phenomenal. Very pleasant, inviting, and informative. The hotel as a whole was very clean, to include the rooms of course!! My only complaint was that the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed all the way due to a droopy shower rod. If that is your biggest problem then I would say you are having an amazing day!! The rest of the shower was glorious with hot water and good water pressure. Not planning to stop for the night, I had packed all of our soaps and toothbrushes under an amazing amount of things. Judy was right there to help with tooth paste and brushes!! The rest of the complimentary amenities were all top notch as well. The rooms were spacious and clean. The colors went well and were inviting while remaining crisp and fresh....dare I say invigorating? The mattresses were soft yet firm, not quite as good as Holiday Inn mattresses but close. I will have to stay on the lookout for the best westerns from now on, apparently their colors are now brown instead of the old blue. And if you happen to stay at the one off of exit 7 on I-10 tell Judy that Jay sends his best!!

"I love this hotel"

The hotel is not big. It is very clean and pretty. I feel safe when I'm there. The desk employees are very nice and willing to help you with anything. The 'free' breakfast is good, but the pancakes were a bit rubbery.

"Great Hotel"

Our room was super clean and very cute! The staff was very friendly! Check-in and check-out was very quick. I would recommend this as a place to stay, and I will come back again. I like the fact that they have breakfast in the morning and coffee all day!

"Great price to a short visit of Pensacola"

Giving my sister a ride to Florida and visiting her college. I stay in this hotel almost every time we visit. Price is always very affordable. Never let me down even if I just book one day beforehand. The service is decent and the room is comfy and clean.

Very good value for the money. Room was clean, quiet. Internet signal strength very good, even at the end of the hall. Breakfast buffet was EXCELLENT; well-stocked and well prepared, with plenty of hot and cold options.

This was probably the best overnight stay we've ever had in a best western USA. The decor, bed comfort, ambiance and staff helpfulness were second to none. And BW reservation centre gave us an excellent price.

Just pulled off in search of a room for the night and found this gem. Super frdly staff greeted us. The room makes you feel like you are at the beach. Very clam and relaxing. Good size room and everything is spotless. Would defiantly recommended this to any family visiting this area. Would stay here again on our next stay.

"Pan Handle"

Not bad. Nearby restaurants. Not really walkable as for the busy intersection. Able to go in any direction to find shopping and food service. Close to several business clients Right off I-10 and near hwy 90.

"The best place to stay in Western Florida "

This was my first time staying at this hotel and I couldn't have been happier. The price was fair. The room was clean. The decor was really cool and warming. The hotel is easily accessible from I-10 at Exit 7. Melissa was wonderful and took care of everything that I needed. My room's temperature unit was a little wonky and she gave me a little money off my room rate for the inconvenience. That's super service. I will definitely return again and again.

"Great stopover"

Well located just off freeway. Easy to get downtown for dinner at Maguire 's. Clean and comfortable and at a very reasonable price through best western website. We have stayed here in the past and would stay here again for sure!

Visited this hotel on 4/8-4/9/2018. Very impressed with accommodations, cleanliness, decor & friendliness of Dusty, front desk check in. Dusty was very efficient, helpful, recommended a seafood restaurant which we really enjoyed. The breakfast was hot, a good selection, the coffee was excellent. The hostess was friendly, making sure everyone was finding something they liked. Keeping everything replenished. I also appreciated the hotel offering fresh, hot coffee available through the day & evening. This was our first stay at a Best Western Plus, it won't be our last. The price, I thought was reasonable.

"OUTSTANDING SERVICE"

Checking in was a breeze. The staff were outstanding and friendly. The property is newly renovated and the rooms are perfect. This is one property worth visiting. Of particular note is Staff Member "Dusty". As more guests showed up he handled each and every one with courtesy and kindness. "High priced for spring break"

Wanted to spend 1 night here. It was 4/1/2018 - Easter day! The total cost was just over $150 for the night but everything was pretty much sold out so I was stuck. Room was nice with good amenities. Breakfast included sausage, eggs, pancakes, cereals, juices, breads, coffee. Overall the experience was good, just terribly high priced.

This was a very nice hotel--comfortable beds, nice bathrooms etc. I did my "clean floor test" and it passed with flying colors. There was absolutely no dirt that showed up on the paper towel I used to check the floor--unlike the time share we had just come from. Staff was also very nice--we would definitely stay here again.

"Great place to stay"

I stayed here after hurricane Irma, on my way back to Florida. I got there late around 10pm. The lady at the check in was very friendly and courteous. After driving all day, it was a relief that the hotel was nice and quite. I had a King Suite. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was large and very comfortable to sleep on. Bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. There was also a small area with a couch and desk to relax in. They had a free breakfast with scrambled eggs, pastries, sausage and a pancake machine. Also located very close to a Publix grocery store and a Walmart grocery store. Will definitely stay here again.

"Late Night check in."

Showed up at 12:30 am after 14 hours on the road. Got a room with 2 kings and a couch, it was a large room, big enough to fit 4 kings. Hotel was quiet, and clean. Attendant at front desk was happy to provide extra towels and bath stuff for all members of our party. Free breakfast was good. Lots of extras to meet anyone's wants to dress up oat meal or pancakes. Nutella packets, chocolate chips, etc. Hot breakfast was bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Some of the items ran out around 9 but the 2 attendants there were quick to refill and fulfill guest requests.

"BW is the best"

Always stay here on our way home from our stay in lower Florida. Convenient location. But traffic from the Naval FCU can be a bear. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Fair prices and a good hot breakfast in the morning.

"Clean and Nice Ambience"

We drove 12 hours from San Antonio, TX to Pensacola Beach, FL and chose to book this hotel based on its reasonable price. I've never stayed at a Best Western Plus and are satisfied customers. Rooms are clean and comfortable. 4 pillows per bed which was extra nice. Bathrooms very clean which is normally my fear when traveling. Plenty of room to get ready. I also liked the ambience. The decor is a beach theme which helps brightens the mood. A Ruby Tuesday's is nearby and we also had good food/service there with a friendly waitress named Pam.

"Great location close to I-10 with amazing breakfast"

We were impressed with the room and the wifi. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was surprisingly very good. The only down side was the toilet in the room was slow to flush and acted semi-backed up. We will stay here again and just as for a different room.

"Pay a little more for the Best hotel on Detroit blvd"

Tucked away between two discount hotels is the Best Western, This place is clean, well run, and the staff treats you like you are family! It's a kid friendly hotel, with soft ,yet firm, beds and wonderful showers! Don't forget to treat your self to the complementary breakfast run by an awesome lady and if your in laws irritated you a little too much, go for a run in the fitness center! Just perfect! You play a little more but it is absolutely worth it

We do a fair amount of traveling by car, so some of our stays are 1-night stays and some are destination stays. Though I've never been displeased by a BW property, the Best Western Plus locations are a nice upgrade and worth the little bit extra that they might cost. They also value their Rewards Club members and make you feel appreciated at check-in and check-out. This location was clean, quiet, and conveniently located to many restaurants in the Pensacola area. We booked it again on our return trip and will plan to be back again! BTW - I always prefer locations like this one where the AC thermostat is on the wall rather than built into the unit itself. The room stays/stayed so much more comfortable!

"Basically OK"

Pros: convenient location & reasonable prices. Clean and no weird room odors for most part. Everything worked. Beds comfy. Cons: Maid service very spotty, they skipped 2 of 5 days and we had to ask for towels and to have trash emptied. When they did clean, they did a great job.The free breakfast not so great, especially the eggs, sausage, gravy, etc. Sausage and eggs very rubbery. And baked breads were hard as rocks. The fresh fruit, cereals and coffee were fine. We skipped their breakfast after first try. The front desk service was OK, not super engaged, but they did their jobs and there were no problems. I did check for bedbugs upon arrival, like I do in every hotel and saw none, but something definitely was biting on me in the bed and I hope to god I didn't bring anything home with me. I made sure to wash all my clothes before I left and didn't put my suitcase near the bed. It's great that they have a little laundry room. The only other negative was they were doing some painting inside during our visit that had very strong fumes that filled the lobby and lower and upper hallways. A little of the fumes filtered into the rooms also. When stayed at same facility 3 yrs ago, everything was better and I'd have given it a very good overall.

Hello and thank you for your review. I will definitely look into to some of the issues you mentioned. We are finishing up renovations so there was a small hint of paint smell but we are almost complete. The breakfast is usually great I will check with them to see what problems they might have been having. I checked the do no disturb log and it looks as if you had your dnd sign on your door a couple times so the girls couldn't service the room. As far as bugs we do not have any bed bugs and get monthly inspections from a pest control company to insure we don't. Thanks again for your review Best Wishes Melissa GM

This hotel is fine for a quick , travel nights sleep. The room was fine, no internet, front desk was not helpful about it. The breakfast was fine , not many healthy food choices. Not my typical Best Western experience.

This Motel we use for stopping point going to Texas and coming from Texas to Florida. It is always been neat and clean the food for breakfast is very good and it's centrally located in the event you want to stay and Pensacola and go to the air museum or to the beach. Is also right on the freeway and it's an easy on easy off and there are several good restaurants close by. There's also a grocery store in the event you need one

"Please Dont Stay Here"

I have no idea why this Best Western "Plus" has such great reviews. The hotel has had a shoddy face lift at best. Most of the updates look as if they're still in progress. Also, the sheets on the beds are stained (we tried 2 different rooms and both had this issue). The Hampton Inn in the same area is much, MUCH nicer.

Hello We were expecting your review since you told us already you were going to write it. We love for our Guest to review our hotel to help us grow as long as the reviews are valid. The first room did have a small stain but the second room you and the front desk clerk checked all linen and everything was good. Yes we are being renovated and it is not complete so to say it's shoddy is unfair when you were here during renovations. We have great reviews because we work really hard to provide great customer service and a nice clean hotel. Renovations are messy are excited to have them complete as soon as possible. We just spent one night here. The room was large and clean with a loveseat to enjoy reading. The A/C was noisy and the bed was bouncy but comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and makes the hotel a real value.

"Lovely hotel"

Staff very friendly always greeted with a smile and they took time to chat to all our party. Clean and tidy even though it was being decorated when we stayed. We stayed for 2 weeks and Would definitely visit here again.

We were just passing through and stayed here because we wanted to visit the Navy Museum the next day. The hotel is clean and comfortable, Breakfast was very good, WiFi was fast. Overall a good place to stay.

"wonderful room"

Best hotel we've ever stayed in. The room was really pretty and clean. The staff was very nice. We were close to the Naval Air Museum and were able to see the Blue Angels practice for their homecoming show. Thank you Best Western/Blue Angel Inn, you made our stay very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was hot and delicious, with lots of variety. The staff was very pleasant and professional. We definitely recommend this hotel.

I had everything I needed for a wonderful night's stay. The night desk clerk went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable. He called my room to see how I liked it. Beautiful, huge painting in lobby depicting Pensacola.

Have stayed at several hotel chains. BW Western is far superior then any other. Will make BW a priority when booking a hotel. Can't beat the price for all the enmities they offer. Will stop at Best Western when traveling.

No problems. Very nice clean hotel at reasonable price. Good breakfast. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Only problem, my iPhone and iPad wouldn't connect to the internet but my wife's iPhone did. No other problems.

Body machines! The staff was very nice and pleasant! This was my first time staying at Best Western, but I will continue to stay at them whenever I travel. The location was perfect right off the exit and was very nice looking... Thank You again!

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 days and we were blown away! Their housekeepers are amazing at their job. The continental breakfast is on point! They are reasonably close to the beach and there are so many things to do around the hotel its self. I will stay at this great place again in the future.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and staff was friendly. Breakfast had a variety of choices. the only issues we encountered is that it can be difficult to get back out to I-10 due to traffic on the main road.

I stay at this hotel on a regular basis, sometimes as much as four nights a week. I feel comfortable every time I stay. The staff treats me well. Ensuring that my needs are meet , as well as they can accomplish prior to me heading to my room. The rooms are always clean and well cared . I can depend on a comfortable nights sleep. I fell safe anytime I go outside. Even walking or running late at night or very early in the mornings.

"Clean and adequate"

As a solo 68 year female traveler I am always checking reviews on hotels before making my choice. This hotel had mixed reviews but I found most to be positive. The clerk at the desk was friendly and helpful. She told me the rooms had all been recently updated. I found the room impressively clean with no smells. The air conditioner worked great and pillows were comfy. The cons: The mattress was lumpy and should be replaced. I don't have back problems so it worked for me for one night. The bathroom towels were thin, in fact the washcloth I chose for the shower had holes. I couldn't get the coffee pot to work. The breakfast was a disappointment for me. I am a low carb eater and the eggs were gross and sausage was so so. There seemed to be plenty of rolls , biscuits, cereals for a different type of breakfast. I have stayed in numerous Best Western Plus all over the states and this one has some work to do. But for $80 I can't complain too loud!!

"Great hotel"

We stayed for only one night in our way to Orlando, but I wished we could stay longer, as I really liked the hotel. Very good location, just outside de interstate (but queit). Check in was fast and welcoming. Room was spacious, facing the pool and with pleasant decoration. Everything was clean and proper. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was well balanced and with good quality items. Wifi was fast and working ok. We wento to a nice beach located 45 kms of the hotel. We also were in Pensacola Seafood Festival and it was a good experiencie too. I recommend this place for a good rest in a clean and modern hotel.

The check in was friendly and the premises very clean. The room smelled clean without being overly perfumed. Breakfast was the standard Best Western fare including some fresh fruit. For the price, $79 plus taxes and fees per night, it was a five star stop.

Hotel was jammed during Irma but everyone was very pleasant and accommodating during this very stressful time. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Our room was quiet and the housekeeping staff was great!!

"Clean and friendly staff."

Only stayed one night but the staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and easy, we were the only ones there in the morning and all of the food was fresh. The workout room was very small and the eliptical trainer is broken. Other than that, it is ok if you just want a treadmill and bring your own exercise bands. There was more than enough parking and seemed to be in a safe enough area. There are no restaurants really to walk to because of the highway but more than met our needs.

"Great price with a low price"

Everything was very nice. The staff was amazing and helpful. I some how managed to book a family of four in a king sized bed. I was able to change it no problem.The room was very modern and clean. They had a tasty breakfast selection as well. We will definitely be back!

"Florida Family and Friends Vacation"

Property is a bit dated but overall, stay was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and bed very comfortable. Free breakfast a definite plus in that we were traveling with children. Both check-in and check-out seamless and quick. I would recommend this property to others particularly large families. There were 6 of us and this property had accommodations that would allow us all to stay in the same room.

"Yuck"

Dirty and lacking amenities such as wash cloth. Sink half full of YUCK that looked as if a Vacuum bag had been emptied and then .tried to wash it down the sink. Won't be stopping at this one again. Pictures were taken by the person on duty that evening, moved to a different room and did not have wash cloth in it.

"Nothing special"

Do not book this place over the free breakfast. It was packed downstairs . Took us 20 min to get through the buffet line. The pancake machine needed a new bag and there was only one employee manning that entire area (refilling milk, cleaning spills, making eggs, ect). It was too much for her. They told us to go eat in the main lobby. My kids were standing up eating breakfast. The room itself was clean, but smelled like wet carpet. The ice had specks of black stuff in them. I told my concerns to Kim at checkout. She said "for what it's worth now, sorry". She was very sarcastic about it. I also witnessed her be sarcastic and rude to the people before us checking out. There are some things that could be improved, but based on the lack of staffing and staff attitude, I would not stay here again or have my family stay here.

Best Western always seems to please. There are many hotels in this area and some of the other hotel chains have proven to be of less than their normal quality. I was very pleased with the Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn, Pensacola. I have been not so pleased with other normally dependable hotels in this area.

This is our 3rd stay at this BW property. My son is attending flight school at NAS Pensacola and we were up for the graduation. Great central location to everything, beaches 35 min, base 25 min, shopping 10 min. (Wal Mart). Recommend whether staying or passing through. They have two large suites 1 double king and 1 double queen. Great for family or if you just like extra room.

Very Comfortable Stay! All went very well. The staff seemed to really care about the guest and were pleasant in all they're dealings. They had great recommendations for places to eat in the area. No noise from the interstate and great location for getting to attractions.

Clean hotel, friendly staff. Recently renovated with clean rooms. Room and bathroom were very comfortable. Room comes with mini fridge/freezer and microwave. Short drive to nearby mall and historic downtown. Breakfast is included but we did not try it as the hours were 6am-9am which is a bit early for us. Overall would stay here again.

"Disappointing stay in BW Blue"

The reception desk staff could use a refresher course on friendliness. Staff slow on cleaning up debris outside main entrance. Hotel features the fitness center as an attraction yet none of the machines worked correctly. Management could take some lessons from the BW St. Augustine.

"MOLD and No rate adjustment"

We checked in and there was MOLD in the bathroom on the ceiling. We had to spend the night in that room because of availability. One of my children was sick from that incident.They lied about our refund amount. One employee said one thing, the other said another. They only gave us $40 back from the inconvenience when we were promised more. The manager never contacted us to even offer a simple apology. That SAME room was rented/occupied within hours of our transfer. The breakfast is minimal. They had grits that you had to make yourself from Wal-Mart. Other than that, they were OKAY.

we stayed at best western one night while attending a funeral the hotel was very nice could not connect to internet on apple devices but that ws ok as we had drove 12 hours and just wanted to sleep would stay here again if in the area breakfast area needs to be a little bit bigger during the crowded times

The staff at this hotel was very friendly and it was clean. It was a bit of a drive to the beach, but not too bad. My only complaint is that the bed was too firm for me. I had back aches in the mornings. Other than that, I would certainly recommend this to others. Lots of people prefer a firm mattress.

We stayed here for a quick overnight family getaway. The room was clean and cozy. The staff was friendly, especially the lady that was in charge of the complementary breakfast. There wasn't a lot of extra noise and everything was super. Definitely will book again.

When you think of Pensacola you think of the Gulf of Mexico waters, swimming sailing and sunning There is more to it than that . They have an Air museum Right down the road from our hotel the Blue Angels Hotel a Best Western hotel of great quality with a friendly and helpful staff . All staff from housekeeper and breakfast staff to desk clerk were all willing to do for you no matter the need . The location was good so many restaurants and gas stations as well as a pretty easy shot to the beach.

We stayed here on vacation. The staff and service was very welcoming. The desk clerks were all very nice and talked to us not at us! They were all very helpful. The lady serving breakfast was extremely nice and made sure everyone had what they wanted and made sure the food was restocked constantly. The pool area was very clean and the kids loved it (as if they hadn't had enough swimming spending every day all day at the beach) !

My family and I stayed here last week for our vacation for 5 nights. I booked through TripAdvisor and had looked at pictures and reviews. It was highly recommended. The hotel lobby looked clean, but a lot smaller than the pictures made it look. I had wondered why there where not more pictures of the pool and I figured out why. There was not a whole lot to show. Patty, who checked us in, was very friendly and quick. We unloaded and went to our room. Upon walking in, there was a funky smell coming from the area around the fridge, but I could never pin point exactly where it was coming from. Throughout the week, it came and went. The room was a standard room. Nothing special about it. It did appear clean which was a plus. The temperature in the room was hard to get right. We had to keep it around 65-67 degrees on high or it got really muggy and gross feeling in the room. I chose to be cold instead of feeling gross. The first day we went to the beach (Monday)we left around 9AM and got back around 3PM. We came back to a clean room. This was the ONLY day of our stay that this would happen. The next day (Tuesday) our room was not serviced and I had to go get clean towels from the front desk. On Wednesday we were in the room later than normal (10-1030AM) so we didn't expect the beds to be made when she came inside. She grabbed our dirty towels from the previous day and give us clean ones. On Thursday we left around 9AM and got back to a room that was not serviced yet again. This time we were back later than normal around 345-4PM. I was fed up at this point and had the door open about to throw our dirty towels out into the hall and go to the front desk to get more. My husband convinced me to not throw the towels in the hall because he was afraid we would be charged some sort of fee. I agreed, so I closed the door. About 20 seconds after I closed the door, a knock. I don't know if our conversation was heard or what. So we did the exchange of dirty towels for clean ones and full trash bags for empty ones again. For me, when I'm on vacation, it's a perk to come back to a clean room everyday. I was highly disappointed in that aspect. The ice machine on our floor only worked for one day as well. My husband went downstairs to get ice and was rudely told to go to the third floor to get it. We thought it was fixed the next day because there was no sign on the machine. He got ice and it was dirty. So, back to the third floor. Later that day and the remainder of the trip there was a sign on the machine. The one good thing that was constant was Liz. She is the wonderfully sweet, hard working and attentive breakfast lady. SO friendly and greeting us with a smile every morning and told us to have a great day and to come back. She kept everything stocked and clean. The free breakfast was always yummy with a variety every morning. It definitely was not the best hotel stay. I'm not saying that I wouldn't stay here again, but I'm probably going to look for a different place next year.

My husband and I went to the Air Museum in Pensacola, FL. This Best Western is fairly convenient to the Museum and just off I-10. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice. Should we go back to Pensacola we will stay in this hotel. We would recommend this hotel.

I recently made a trip to Pensacola to have a getaway trip with my 14 year old daughter. Our room was clean and comfortable. Patty was a great help at check in and greeted us with a smile. She offered maps and any other help we needed. This place is far enough from the busyness of the beach but not too far a drive. Breakfast was good, better than many other places we have stayed. The pool area was nice and clean. We decided on our drive home that we will have to make the trip again and will definitely stay there again.

Looking for a reasonably priced hotel, this is the one we selected. Note: check on line for prices then call them - you just never know. This is a great hotel. Service with a smile, easy on and off from I-10, close to food, gas, Starbucks, liquor store, restaurants, and the Naval Aviation Museum. Clean rooms, a nice gym, gazebos for outdooor lounging, perfect.

"Overnight trip for beach"

Quick overnight trip from NO, only 3 hours away. Stayed overnight for beach. Hotel is clean, quiet and right off interstate. Beds were nice. Family friendly. Decent breakfast and 20 minutes to Santa Rosa Island. Recommended.

"An okay place, well staffed."

I selected this place quite randomly and was very happy with the result. Clean, efficient and effectively staffed. Just far enough from the interstate road to be quiet and close enough to enable trips conveniently. Breakfast, included was fairly adequate and set one up for an early start, should that be you intention. Everything was okay.

"An overnight stay"

Clean comfortable room and good service. The hotel is well situated and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and linen clean. I was impressed by the size of the room and the bathroom - but then, perhaps this was because we had a 'handicapped' room for some reason. The desk staff was very pleasant and we felt welcomed. When travelling on road trips and arriving tired and hot at the hotels, the welcome is, perhaps, the key to a pleasant stay. We certainly got that welcome here.

"Great place to stay"

We were in town for a funeral. From the moment we arrived the front desk clerk was extremely accommodating. She let us check out some rooms and pick the one we wanted. She was very friendly. We enjoyed conversations with her. The next morning we had the breakfast. It was packed. There was one lady trying to keep all the food refilled and everything clean. She did an exceptional job at this. And she did it with a smile. What a great experience it was.

We stayed two nights here, about half an hour away from the beautiful beach -- mind you traffic and really become very dense. We were fortunate to stay in a gigantic room with comfortable beds and pillows. Quiet, except when you have people staying above you who like to stumble around. Breakfast is a good start of the day, both mornings we ate near the swimming pool for more space. We gladly used the washing machine and dryer. We had a fine stay here.

"Friendly and knowledgeable staff"

The room was clean and the air conditioner worked very well. The bedding was nice and the mattress was excellent. It was minutes off of I10 and about twenty minutes to Pensacola Beach. We were given a map to the beach and enjoyed the view for a while before dinner in pensacola. Breakfast was the usual for BW but it was fresh and neatly arranged. The attendant was pleasant and helpful as was the front desk especially when we checked in.

"Terrible customer service"

I was working on getting information together for blocks of rooms for my March 2018 wedding. This hotel had good reviews and is relatively new and very convenient for my side of the family to stay, as it is close to the area where my parents live. Unfortunately I called almost daily for 3 weeks. I was continually told the sales manager was on vacation, and then out with the flu. Nobody would help me. Fine. I can wait. I was told to call back daily to see if she was there. So I did that. On the first day I called my information was taken and I was told to call back on a certain day (it was like I called on Thursday or Friday and they told me to call back Monday if I hadn't heard anything). When I called as instructed I was continually told she was still out. The front desk staff never assisted me in any way. They seemed put out that I kept calling, as suggested by THEM. I eventually called corporate. They were also unable to help, as the requests for that service must go through the individual property. The guy offered to send a request, but after the experience I had already had it seemed pointless. Also, would my guests receive the same terrible customer service if we did book with them? So to save others the effort of going through this with no results I posted a review on facebook. The sales manager, Melissa, eventually commented and insinuated that I never called. She said that her staff "always" writes down messages for her and puts them "on the board" and that she "certainly would have" returned my call if I had sent her a voicemail or email. While it is true that I never left her a voicemail on her VM box, nor did I send an email, it is important to point out that in the 12 plus calls I made I was NEVER GIVEN THAT OPTION! Nobody ever offered to transfer me to her voicemail box and NEVER gave me an email address to contact her. Seriously, if a business has deficits no big deal. I am sure the turnover is probably high in a hotel front desk staff. Instead of insinuating that the staff can do no wrong and insulting customers by indicating that the review is not truthful the business could take responsibility for the issues and do whatever they can to correct it. Melissa has not reached out to me via FB (she has my information, as I posted the review using my account and she could EASILY click on my name and send a message should she choose) and has done nothing to try to resolve the issues or even sincerely apologize for the oversight. So for a few nights stay, where you book on their site or a travel site you may have a good experience. But group sales should be avoided at this location at all costs. There's a multitude of other options within a 1/2 mile of this place. And I was able to easily book with a competitor with zero hassle.

My husband and I stay 3 days and the room was nice and big with refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast was great the best we had while traveling the Panhandle of Florida. Close to Walmart & Publix if you need anything. Close to two restaurants: Wayne's Diner and Ruby Tuesdays. Not far to the Naval Air Museum. To leave the hotel you need to cross a couple of lanes of traffic and the on and off ramps forInterstate 10, it is a little busy. Also construction at the end of the road with barrels. We would stay there again.

This is a very clean, well appointed hotel. Nice breakfast with a kitchen staff member who was super helpful. We didn't use the pool or fitness centre but they looked clean and well appointed as well. A good sleep was had. Recommended.

This is a great hotel for your business or leisure stay in the Pensacola Bay area. It is located right off of Interstate 10 which has easy on and exit ramps. The rooms are decorated with a calming seaside motif. You are sure to enjoy the full free breakfast , internet room and their swimming pool. The staff will cater to your every need. They are also very informative of the many activities at Pensacola Beach. The beach has white sands and pristine blue waters. Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn is my hotel of choice for the past four years. My family and I have never been disappointed and I can safely say that you won't be either. - Will H.

The motel is an excellent facility, the staff is very efficient, very helpful & very pleasant. My only complaint with this facility is the difficulty making a left turn onto the main highway from the motel, quite difficult especially 4-6pm.

We were greeted very nicely. All was in order and check-in was a snap. The room was clean and all amenities were there. We were there for our grandson's 6th birthday. He wanted to stay with us. I went to the front desk and was given the bedding for the pull out couch. At breakfast, the first morning, we mentioned, to the woman running the buffet, that we were there for the birthday of our grandson. The next morning she handed our grandson a present. That is well over and above anything we have seen before. Our best and another big thank you to Autumn. She is fantastic. She really made our stay a great one.

I've stayed at this hotel many times. It is always clean and the employees are always kind and helpful. Breakfast is your generic free breakfast. Nothing to write home about. Hotel is about 15-20 minutes from the beach and close to lots of restaurants.

Very clean and quiet location. Amanda went out of her way to make sure everything was set up correctly with my reservations. We stayed here for three nights and were totally satisfied. The property was clean and well-kept, the staff were friendly and always willing to help, and the location was easy on & off of the interstate. Being just off of the interstate made for easy commuting between attractions and points of interest in Pensacola and the outskirts. There are plenty of restaurants near-by as well as shopping and things to do. I can recommend this hotel as a wonderful place to stay. If I'm in the area again, I will check here first for lodging. I was impressed with this property that much.

We checked into the hotel after driving for 12 hours in rain. The room had a strange smell, but we were tired and went right to bed. Image our surprise when we received our credit card bill with the room charge, plus an additional $250 charge. When I called to see what this was about, we were told that we smoked in the room. HOWEVER, WE BOTH ARE NON-SMOKERS! Didn't matter - that is their policy. Asked if we could send letters from our doctor or pastor attesting that we DO NOT SMOKE, were told that is there policy. Our mistake was accepting the room in the first place. Because it is not FRAUD, the credit card company will not support the cardholder either. This makes me livid because the charge is made in your absence when you have no defense. Obviously the truth is no defense either. I would stay away from this property......

Sorry carolsingslead that you feel we over charged you. We inspect every room before guest check in and after the guest checks out. If we were to have smelled smoke prior the room would have been treated so that no smoke smell was left. I understand you say you don't smoke but all we have to go on is the room smelled of smoke on your check out. We are 100% non smoking and take pride in that. We are not in the business to add extra charges to guest that doesn't benefit us. We want the guest to have a great stay and return to see us. Again sorry you feel you were charges extra fees. We stayed at Best Western Plus Blue Angel reported 4 bed bugs. 4 hours later still have not been contacted by management. I caught one in a cup and took to front desk. Still nothing. Was told they could not refund stay due to booking from 3rd party!

Hello We are disputing this review! We had pest control come out , our maintenance, head housekeeper, myself all inspect room. We took headboards down searched entire room and found one little beetle bug by the window. There are no bed bugs in the room at all . We are newly renovated and have been sold out daily. We have had guest in and out of that room and not one complaint nor did we find anything in the inspection of the room. Sorry you are upset about not getting a refund!

"Blue Angel"

Last year, I stayed at this Inn for several days and the rate was about $80.00/day. This time, it was about $130.00. When I asked why, I was told it was spring break (I doubt that. Spring break is in March, not April) and this is their peak season. (i doubt that ,too.) Some people may call this capitalism. I call it greed and is one way to turn away loyal customers.

"Last Minute Spring Break"

Spring Break hotels in that area was not good, How do I know because we reserved a room at another hotel the night before that was horrible. I immediately called booking.com and made arrangements at the this hotel. Hotel staff called me to confirm and they were extremely friendly. Hotel was clean, staff friendly, breakfast was amazing. Pool area and basketball court was nice. Everything was wonderful. I will be staying here again and I have told all my friends how wonderful this hotel was.

It's hard to find a great value hotel in Pensacola. I've been traveling here for business for the past 12 years, at least 4 times per year and finally discovered this wonderful spot a few years back where the staff is friendly and efficient, the rooms extremely clean and cozy, with an excellent hot breakfast, reliable free internet and a mini refrigerator. The bed is perfect! I don't consider staying anywhere else in Pensacola since I finally found BW Blue Angel.

If you are visiting Pensacola in Florida, a non expensive solution will be this Best Western hotel. They offer very friendly service, good breakfast at an impeccable dinning area. The rooms have some of the best mattresses we had on a three week family trip through the South of the U.S. even when compared with more classy hotels. Molly, the lady who attend us late at the arrival night was helpful and kind in order to fulfill our requests. I can recommend this BW hotel with no problem.

"Hidden Gem - Exceeded Expectations"

The reservation was secured through our sports team. I have to admit I was not thrilled with the prospect of staying at a Best Western, but did this hotel smash any preconceived ideas I had about the hotel chain. This hotel exceeded every expectation in every single area. The hotel was nice, rooms are comfortable and VERY clean. I did not have one single complaint. In fact, this hotel exceeds other larger luxury and semi-luxury hotel brands. This hotel is right off the highway so there are no restaurants in walking distance. But despite the location it is quiet in the rooms. The staff is extremely pleasant and willing to please. I get a sense that behind closed doors they are not quite as nice as they appear, but that's just my perception. Breakfast was decent. It was your average free breakfast buffet items, but the area was very clean, food always replenished and the staff was super helpful.

We have stayed here before a couple years ago and it was wonderful. This time it was even better. The rooms are all new and the bed was great. Very clean. The breakfast was really good and Liz the breakfast lady very helpful. The manager Melissa checked us in and she was very helpful with things to eat and do while visiting. A must stay hotel for anyone coming to Pensacola !!

"Enjoyable stay at reasonable price again!"

We stayed at this BW once before just after the renovation and enjoyed it. Hence, we returned again. The rooms are basic hotel room, but are both clean and comfortable. We stayed in a King-Sized bed that was comfortable to sleep in. There is a sitting area and a large screen tv, complimentary WiFi internet access that actually worked. The maid service was consistent during our three day stay, which was a plus. We didn't have to ask for anything. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable and visually appealing and maintained. There is a small gift shop in the lobby to buy soda, chips, candy bars, detergent and other miscellaneous needs. This hotel offers a free hot complimentary breakfast including pancakes, muffins, bagels, cold and hot cereals, coffee, tea, juices, sausage or bacon (depending on the day) sausage and gravy. Just enough to start you on your way. Breakfast is in the open dining room with about half a dozen tables. One day we ate, we were able to sit in the dining room. Next two days, Sat and Sun, place was packed and we had to eat in our room. Service was efficient. Liz was a pleasant and professional woman that looked after things and kept the food stocked. We were a bit disappointed that though there was a sign in our room to save water by using our towels over instead of getting new ones, new ones were always provided even though we didn't want/need them replaced everyday. So much for reducing water usage! Overall, we enjoyed our visit. Just wish the hotel was closer to town, but not an overall loss since we were able to drive.

Excellent hotel in most ways. Breakfast was satisfactory, but I would not consider it great. Did not go to Waffle House cause the breakfast was bad. The room was great and had a desk where I could keep up with my work if needed. The other two hotels on this trip did not have desk available. Did find a roach crawling up on my bed. Reported it and was suppose to have the bug guy out that day.

I enjoyed my stay there. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The place was clean and quiet the whole time I was there. If you have an Ipad, you may not be able to connect to the internet from your room. But the computer in the lobby works perfectly if you have to use the internet ASAP.

This is one of the very few hotels where the pictures on the site actually match what the hotel and the rooms look like. It was a little lower than average priced for the area, and very clean. Next time I'm in the area, I'll be happy to return.

This Best Western Hotel in Pensacola was a great Place to stay. We loved driving out to the Gulf and walked on the white beaches at sunset. There breakfast was good and the room was clean. Their check-in staff was very helpful.

Our family stayed at this hotel while in town for my son's soccer tournament. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the staff were all friendly. The shower was spacious, the water pressure was plenty, and the bathroom was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the AC kept the room cool all night. Breakfast was delicious, and the woman who ran the kitchen, Liz, was top notch with customer service. She was attentive, friendly, and went out of her way to make sure everyone had what they needed.

Look no further for a great hotel. My room was newly redecorated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was great. The price was right. I was looking for a decent hotel to stay overnight while retrieving my son from his Air Force technical training in Pensacola. The reviews for affordable hotels were atrocious. I realized that the Best Western Plus was out further from the base then others and the price was affordable.

We stayed here for the weekend and let me tell you it was amazing. The breakfast was great and so many choices. Very clean and friendly staff. Check in was easy and front desk was very helpful with restaurants and directions. The rooms are newly remodeled and beautiful. We will be back - you have to try it you won't be disappointed.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We saw reviews online and were surprised at its excellent ratings. We usually stay at Marriott or Hilton properties, but this had better ratings than many others in the area. For the price, we decided to give it a try. It was a very good experience. Clean, well staffed, and good location.

I enjoy my stay at Blue Angel Inn Best Western every time. I stay here 2 -3 times a week for business, as well as a couple times a year while on vacation. The staff always goes out of ther way to ensure my family and i are well taken care. The updating has made the stay even more like home and even more comfortable. "I never expected this level of quality"

The rate for this hotel won't stay where it is now. There's no way. I was traveling for business and just needed a place to sleep. I saw and low rate and thought, "I can put up with some things for that amount". Wow, was I wrong. When I arrived the staff was efficient and pleasant. I had my key in no time and went to my room. I always inspect my room no matter which hotel I stay in and this was no exception. It was perfect. Everything looked and smelled new. There was no dust above the pictures or doors. The linen on the bed was fresh and crisp, no evidence of anyone ever staying there. All the lamps worked as well as the TV. I was shocked. I couldn't believe my good fortune to have booked this room for that rate. I now have this hotel on my list of "I'd bring my family here" hotels. I highly recommend this property.

This is the cleanest, most professional helpful place I have ever stayed and I live here!! Melissa is such a pleasure to deal with and the hotel smelled amazing upon walking in the office. They have really good free hot breakfast, a pool, our room was pristine and nothing out of place. It doesn't smell like smoke (like some places do) but you can smoke outside of your a smoker. They have a pool and I slept amazing. This is the ONLY place I would stay. They have a fitness center and a business center. LOVE THIS PLACE!! 5 stars!!! Look nowhere else! Great for business or pleasure.

"Great all around stay for any occasion"

I regularly stay for business. The only place I'll stay in Pensacola. The staff is the friendliest and most accommodating out of any hotel I've stayed in. All of the rooms are newly renovated and all brand new comfortable pillow top mattresses make for one great nights stay. Excellent full breakfast served daily with not only the normal items but hot, real food and pancakes as well. Safe secure parking and clean pool area are a nice feature as well as a basketball court and gazebo area to enjoy in your down time. If you're in the Pensacola area, it is worth your while to stay here. Low rates, convenient access to interstate, tons of restaurants and just a short drive to the downtown and beach front areas. Definitely won't be disappointed!

This hotel is located right off of I-10. Easy access on and off the interstate. The hotel appears to be very new and well kept. The bed was comfortable and provided a good nights sleep. Both hot and cold breakfast options were available. The staff was very courteous and helpful.

"Better than ecpected"

Even though the pool could have used a cleaning , I'll factor in the weather. The room was more than acceptable except the fact that I was given a handicap accessible room, but that gave a larger bathroom so I can't complain. Breakfast was better than I thought it would be, an enjoyed the selection available. The bed(s) were VERY comfortable and for someone with a mild back issue this was a relief. Relatively quiet and the staff was helpful. I would (will) stay here again.

Convenient to Hwy I-10 with food services close by. This hotel is where I always stay when in Pensacola. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Is a great place to stay. It is not too far to the beaches, shopping malls, the Naval Air Station, and a lot of other activities.

We were looking for a conveniently located, affordable hotel for a one-night stay. We were not going to the beach, went to the Pensacola Museum of Art, which I recommend in another review, so did not want to be onto east side of town. This hotel was just what we were looking for. The hotel is right off I-10 or you can us West Detroit to get to a major road leading to town, there is a gas station nearby, the room was quiet, comfortable and clean and the staff is very friendly.

"Weekend breakfast hours NOT guest friendly"

Breakfast hours on the weekend were from 0600 - 0900. I did not check this prior to trying to eat, as every other hotel I have stayed at has offered the breakfast until at least 1000 or 1030 on the weekend. My family missed breakfast this past Sunday because we show up about 10 minutes after 9. I understand earlier hours during the week, but who gets up at 0600 to eat at a hotel on Sunday??

"Comfortable; needs a little help for the handicapped"

Nice hotel near to the naval museum and the beaches. Breakfast included with wide variety of foods. Accessible room had excellent rails for the shower and toilet. Need a shelf in the shower to place your soap and shampoo. Beds were good but mattress seemed too high for a wheelchair user to get into. Floors seemed sticky. Wild peahens in the parking lot were an added attraction. Local restaurants nearby offered several types of food choices.

Excellent breakfast selection in an immaculately clean dining room. Bonus was a mention of gluten or dairy free options upon request. Room was clean and updated but the bed was not comfortable. Easy to locate with ample parking. Perhaps with a new mattress this could be a higher rated review.

We don't normally stay at Best Western hotels but since Pensacola was so busy with the tourist season we stayed here during our return to our home in central Florida. The staff were very helpful & pleasant, the room was large & very clean & the breakfast was plentiful.

"Better Than Most For Military"

I would have given this place an Excellent rating since the room had virtually everything new in it (including the paint job) but the commode is an old model that isn't very deep and flushes slowly, and the minibar/microwave area has no lighting. The staff were very accommodating although I wish they were issued classy uniforms. As this was a military trip I must say that I was not pleased with their requirement that they copy the front page of my orders nor with the fact that they charged me the maximum daily amount the government allotted me for this trip. Overall, though, it's a clean, good place to stay especially for military personnel. Some of the people in my training group reported some disappointing stories from the other lodging in town, so I'd definitely recommend this one.

I'll admit to being a Best Western fan. I've never been disappointed and this stay was no exception. We stayed on the third floor (an elevator is available to haul all your stuff) in a very clean room facing IH-10 which was less than 1/4 mile away. We never heard the traffic. Slept soundly both nights on a very comfortable bed. Getting in and out of the hotel was easy and most places we wanted to go were within a half-hour's drive. The hot breakfast items were indeed hot and fresh. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast.

this best western, located at exit 7 on I-10 is the best of the best westerns we have ever stayed at. we use no other hotel than this when traveling to or from florida from texas. it is always clean with full room amenities and a pool. the best part however is their breakfast. it is a full breakfast hot and ready at 6 a.m. nothing "just o k" about this one, everything about it hits the mark.

whenever we travel to florida from texas, this best western is the only hotel we ever consider staying at. it is always clean, the breakfast is the absolute best of any hotel we have ever stayed at and the location is perfect for us, exactly in the middle of a 1000 mile drive. located at exit 7b heading east on I-10 and exit 7 heading west.

The room was extremely comfortable and fulfilled all our needs for the night. Arrived too late to get up and enjoy the complimentary breakfast. the bed was very comfortable and provided us with a great night's sleep in order to continue our road trip the following morning.

We just needed a hotel for one night until we could get into our condo the next day. We arrived late and were really tired. I had reserved a room with 1 bed and a sleeper sofa due to the fact that there were 4 of us. We checked in and proceded to our room. The key cards would not work so we dragged ourselves back down to the desk. Once we entered the room we were so disappointed to see there was only one bed and where the sofa should be was the tiniest chair! Sooooo..... once again, back down to the desk! They did move us to a room with 2 beds so that was good. The breakfast was very average. The one that was facinating was the pancake maker machine! Oh, and the peacocks that were hanging around! Our stay was ok as it was just for one night but we probably wouldn't stay there for an extended amount of time.

"Still pretty good!"

Stayed one night here on our way to Miami from D/FW area. We've already stayed here twice before, once in 2008 and second in 2010 (I have an old review here also). This time in June 2016, I can say that they've gone 1 star down compared to our first couple of visits here. The property looks to have been remodeled at some time. The room we stayed in had some minor issues with the closet door handle coming off as the screws that were supposed to keep it in place were loose. Another minor issue is that the main door would not firmly lock in place in that one could push and pull the door while it is locked and would still move. This did not make me feel quite secure. I booked this because of my positive experience during the two previous stays but in my opinion it is now a bit overpriced (even if it's a "Plus") compared to other newer hotels in the area. This hotel is still good but I might try the other ones nearby next time.

"Not what we expected"

The hotel is much older. The staff is very nice but we ended up not staying here. When we arrived at our room, the door had been left open. The told us it might have been housekeeping. We went ahead and went in. The room was very small and we had requested a 2Q suite with sleep sofa. The sleeper sofa was barely large enough to fit a small child. It was maybe twin size (very short) and had no sheets or pillows provided. I requested a refund and they unwillingly agreed. We ended up changing hotels.

We visited for two days and got to see the blue angles at the base and went to the beach it was a beautiful two days, the room was excellent and our fridge did not work. Called front desk that morning and they replaced it with a few hours. The room was clean and awesome. The staff was helpful and Joseph went out of his way when we arrived to make sure we were all good. The breakfast was awesome too, we ate at the pool and seen the sunrise and also they had wild peahens at front door. Sat at the bench outside met allot of nice people and seen the sunset. Loved it all.

Hotel was was visually clean and smelled clean. Some wear and tear on the carpets in high traffic areas but our room exceeded our expectations. Very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Pool area a little on the small side. Breakfast was on par with other hotels. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Not close enough to the beach but at more than half the price this is a very good hotel. Clean and neat, all the basics plus one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept on ever. The proximity to the freeway is good when you want to get on the road to the beach BUT be prepared for a really awkward and dangerous exit across a very busy thoroughfare without a much needed light.

We stopped early ... but only had to wait a few minutes for the room to be ready. The lobby was small but comfortable; staff exceptionally nice. Breakfast room was larger than normal and there was a small "market" near the front desk where they had small frozen entrees for sale ... in case you wanted a snack.

The hotel had a new feel to it and everything seemed very clean and in good working order. We did have an issue with the WIFI but it wasn't a big deal to us since we didn't spend much time in our room (mostly just to shower and sleep). The breakfast was very good and the juice wasn't watered down like a lot of places. The breakfast room itself is pretty small, though, so finding a place to sit during busy times could be a problem. I did see a few people take their breakfast outside to the pool area to eat which I thought was a good idea - especially on nice mornings. It was only about a 25 minute drive to Pensacola Beach.

"Excellent updated property"

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay although brief. The room was fresh, updated, spotless and very comfortable. The only negative was the breakfast experience. The area is unfortunately inadequate for the number of guests utilizing the amenity. The attendant could not keep up with the demand and there was not enough space for all the people standing in line in addition to the limited number of tables for seating. The breakfast items were typical pre-cooked options. instant oatmeal, pancake machine, adequate but nothing special.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Blue Angel Inn but found the room booked to be more expensive than comparable hotels nearby for the same type of room (about $20-$30 more per night). This hotel would be a great value if the rooms were priced lower and similar to its nearby competitors but at its current pricing I will have to consider other hotels next I have to book a room in Pensacola.

Clean and spaceous rooms. Great service from the staff. Nice pool also available for disable persons. Located near I 10 and a short driving distanse to Pensacola center, shopping area and airport. Breakfast included. The breakfast area was suficcient but a bit small.

"Out of the way in Pensacola"

We are driving around the U.S for 6 months before a more permanent stay in Texas. We loved this hotel which whilst a reasonable distance from the beach the long drive was easy with the freeway system. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was a bonus, a great way to get your day started and obviously it is a cost saver.

We stayed here for three nights and it was pretty great for the price ($102 a night which we booked through price line compared to the other crazy priced hotels in the area. We were going to stay at the beach but didn't want to waste all our money on a hotel room so we decided to stay here, other hotels on the beach were 150 to 250 per night before taxes. It is right off 10 and only about a 20 or 30 minute drive to Pensacola Beach or an hour and a half to ft Walton or destin beaches area. Also has 2 Walmarts within a 10 to 15 minute drive, Cracker Barrel is right up the road too!) Our room was newly remodeled and did smell of paint or dry wall, but we got used to the smell. We weren't really in the hotel that much just to sleep and in the mornings for breakfast. The bed was great, firm but not too firm. The sheets were clean and soft. The bathroom door didn't lock but we didn't need it to really. The door is really close to the toilet when you open the door so it's a tight squeeze sometimes. The shower worked great, had good water pressure and hot water. Lots of shelves to put things in the shower and the shower rod is curved so you can hang towels and swim suits from it. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom on the back of the door. We stayed in a king room, it had a sofa that pulled out into a bed, we didn't use it though. The curtains were slightly short so the sun did peak through the bottom and let light through, we stayed on the back side by the pool so it may not be an issue on the front side. They do have a hot breakfast every morning which was great! Eggs, biscuits, gravy and they would alternate bacon and sausage each day. They also have cereal, pancakes, oatmeal and muffins/toast/bagels. They do have soy milk which was nice if you are lactose intolerant. The orange juice was working this visit. There are peacocks that lurk on the outside patio area and you can watch them while you eat breakfast, they were pretty cool to watch. Oh this hotel does have a laundry where you can put quarters in the machine to wash and dry clothes. They didn't have it anywhere on the websites before we booked this hotel but to our surprise when we got there we found they have laundry rooms on each floor. Wish they would have updated the site before we went because we didn't bring laundry soap, but they have it updated now. They have small work out rooms which are nice. They have a small pool outside and a patio and basketball goal in the back area. We stayed here Monday to Wednesday night and it wasn't busy and was pretty quiet, thought we would have to fight to get breakfast but there was plenty of empty tables. Staff was also very helpful! We were running really late and didn't get to the hotel until 12am but they had our room ready and our keys and paperwork ready to go. Overall, happy with the hotel, great stay for the great price! Would recommend staying here!

Nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Food was good. The location was perfect! Right next to I-10, for easy access on/off the highway. 15 minutes to airport, 20 minutes to the beaches, and 5 minutes to my conference site. Plenty of available restaurants, shops, and amenities in the surrounding area. I look forward to my next trip to the area and my stay in this hotel!

We thought that we were going to be closer to the Naval Aviation Museum than this turned out to be. However, the choice turned out to be excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient and the room was very clean. The public areas looked like there had been a recent renewal. The location to I-10 was perfect.

Was going to book a cheaper place in town but TA reviews led to this place and it was just as advertised. Clean, well cared for and a decent breakfast although they were "out" of orange juice for breakfast. No OJ for breakfast cost the place a higher rating but it was a good night.

Very nice price for a great room. Our room was very spacious with a king bed and couch. It was very clean!. cleaning staff did an excellent job. Breakfast was a little blandish but a nice variety and very nice staff person keeping up with demand. Easy to get too. I would stay here again. Oh Yea, Bed was like mine at home.. firm but not overly so.. slept very good!! Heater/air conditioner was very quiet and worked perfect ( this must be a newer hotel.

We go to Pensacola every year(when we can)and continue to go back to the Blue Angel Best Western. Patty at the front registration desk is always going the extra mile to make sure folks are satisfied. The cleaning staff on the second floor have always taken the best care of us and made sure our linens were fresh and we had plenty of shampoo and soaps! ...and the breakfast!!! These folks do a terrific job of providing something for every taste! Don't hesitate to stay there! It is great!

I typically trust TripAdvisor, and in this case it didn't let me down, but I'm not so sure it should be ranked as high as it is. Overall my stay was fine, but the property was a little dated, and the breakfast so rather institutional. I had a problem with the A/C, which I fixed myself. The plug was not all the way in, which is a good sign in my opinion, it tells me that housekeeping is actually vacuuming and knocked it loose. The bathroom sink was very slow to drain, which proved to be a problem while shaving, I did not report this issue. There was also a big booger stuck on one of the shower tiles, which is disgusting on housekeeping's part and the nasty individual who put it there. I will say that the staff was extremely nice, very refreshing on that aspect. I would probably choose another property if I was in the area again, but this place was right off the interstate, no issues finding it.

The location of the hotel was ideal for what we wanted to do while we were staying in Pensacola. It was close to the interstate when we were ready to leave. Breakfast was wonderful really enjoyed the pancakes.

"Not what I expected"

Was in the area on a business trip and wanted to stay closer to my destination the next morning so I used my rewards points to book a room for the night. Pretty decent place. The rooms are clean, but my only complaint is the hardness of the mattress. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again just for the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff.

As always this is our favorite place to stay when passing through or stay in Pensacola. It has always been clean and tidy. Love the renovations. Breakfast wasn't as good as the past, but the pancakes were good.

It has been a couple of years since I've last stayed for my 3rd time and it didn't disappoint. It's still a great stay at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and its in a great location off the interstate. The breakfast was ok....they just need to keep the warm food a little bit warmer. Whatever the management is doing keep doing.

Loved our stay at this Best Western Plus. The hotel desk clerk was very friendly and informative with all amenities shared with us. The room was beautiful with fresh new paint and décor. Room was spacious. Breakfast was very nice and offered pancakes, eggs, bacon, cereal, breads, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juices, etc. Close to very nice restaurants and right off Interstate 10.

Good large rooms with lots of space. Clean but the bin was not emptied this morning. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good varied even fresh pancakes from a nifty machine. The pool was cool .

Really like room décor. Everything very clean. Location hard to find after taking Interstate exit. Needs a sign at eye level at junctions of exit, main road and access road. Breakfast somewhat better (more variety) than other hotels chains but need to improve on the eggs and the sausage gravy is terrible. But I found this was typical for all Best Western Hotel breakfast. Breakfast dining area too small for BW hotel of this size.

We stayed here one night and it was very comfortable. The room looked like it had just been redone and was very fresh and clean. The breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast. Had never seen round bacon before!

"Roadtrip gem"

This hotel is just off the Interstate 10. Clean with wide corridors. Decor is a little dated but can't complain for the last minute price we got from the Trip Advisor. If you're lucky you can see the Blue Angels practice. Make time to take a trip to the beach. The sand is white, clean, and super fine.

The only thing was the the scrambled eggs were over stirred but the room was clean and everyone was very hospitable! The area is good and it has a outside pool! Inside pool are yuck i.e.! Breakfast was a great contental with fresh fruit!

The Hotel was very clean and updated. It was close to the interstate which is a plus. The hotel was also close to some food places. The breakfast was very good with a big variety of options, coffee was very good too!! The hotel was very quiet and very peaceful for sleeping at night. The pillows were very comfortable but the bed was a little firm but nothing to really complain about. Overall I would say this hotel is great and we will be staying there again when we are in town.

We stayed here a year ago on vacation so when I had to come for work it was obvious where I was staying. The hotel is clean and I love the newly remodeled rooms. The staff is always great and very helpful. The breakfast is huge and so many items there is something for everyone . Love the yogurt and oatmeal bar! The manager Melissa is great she is very friendly and helped our company with great rates while we stayed to work!! I would say everyone needs to stay here it's the best.

"Slepping with the Blue Angels"

We have stayed at this hotel 4 times now. We have heard of some problems here, but we have NEVER had any issues. We stay here while traveling every year. We usually do not get here until going on midnight. Staff is always very friendly, especially to my boys. :) The remodel looks great! My boys love the Blue Angels mural painted on the wall. We recommend this hotel to all of our friends that travel through Pensacola.

We needed a room for an overnight stay in Pensacola, Fl. I found this location on-line and decided to try it. Overall, I'm glad I did. The staff was very friendly. We arrived in the middle of a thunderstorm and discovered the window leaked in the original room I had booked. The staff did not hesitate to move us to another comparable room. The room was lovely, clean and spacious. My only complaint is I think they should invest in a better quality mattress. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I'll book a room again when visiting.

"Pleasant, satisfying stay"

My stay at this hotel was surprisingly positive. Although we experienced some minor maintenance problems, we were given the option of moving to another room. The entire hotel has recently undergone a make-over, with a few details remaining (like hall carpet replacement). Having a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee brewer in the room was handy, along with their 24-hour coffee service in the breakfast area. The room was comfortable and attractive; the toiletries were top-notch; and the complimentary breakfast offered a tasty variety of hot and cold items. The hotel has a nice outdoor pool (unheated) which we did not use on this trip because of the low outdoor temperatures of early spring. The hotel is near the Naval Air Station and Museum and within easy driving distance from the beach. All in all, it was an enjoyable three-night stay, and I would eagerly recommend this hotel to my cost-conscious friends.

"RUDE STAFF"

Door handle was broken and the smoke alarm kept going off. Batteries were changed on the first night but that did not correct the problem. We were not offer to be moved and nothing else was done. Staff was rude and defensive when told about the problems, instead of being helpful and sympathetic.

"3 strikes - stay outta here!"

Rented 3 rooms - 3 errors. Room 1- ants Room 2-overcharged, I had to call best western rewards to intervene and honor quoted price. Room 3-handicap accessible was actually a bathtub with a handle. The person who needed this room could not take a shower. Summary - mgr was not on site at checkin, so I requested they call to discuss issues. I waited 1 week to write this review and no calls yet.Don't waste your money.

Hello rlife! Sorry for all your concerns but let's see if I can help clear some of them up. I did try calling you back and left you a message sorry if you didn't get it. Just wanted to make sure you were clear on a couple of things..we didn't overcharge you . You were using your points to stay and best western rewards told you the wrong amount it cost to stay at our property so we had to call them so they would honor the additional points you needed to stay with us since you didn't have enough points for 2 rooms. We had pest control come out and check the room and there was no signs of any ants in the room but we had the room treated as a precaution since you claimed you saw one. We do have 2 different handicap rooms that are ADA compliant one is a roll in shower and one a tub with bars. If you needed a roll in shower that could of been booked at the time you made your reservation. My stay at Best Western was really a treat. The room was clean and had a pleasant order. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths. The internet was working fine. called for food and the rest is history. (Smile) The soap was a delight. It was pleasantly scented and a joy to the body. My stay was wonderful!!!!!

Perfect place to stop off the highway to get some rest. Affordable, comfortable, clean and updated decor. More than you would expect for an "interstate hotel". Free breakfast, parking, a swimming pool, and easy on - easy off the interstate exit across the street. I would recommend this hotel.

Exceptionally clean bathroom and room. Well appointed with all amenities. Slept like a baby in the comfortable and clean King bed. Breakfast was great. Just the stay we had hoped for - a restful break from 10 hours of driving. Convenient location - just off I- 10. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

"Close proximity to UWF"

The hotel was only a short drive away from UWF and many local restaurants. The staff was very pleasant, and the hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable and roomy, and breakfast included a wide variety of choices. The only negative was that the room smelled of paint, since the hotel was in the middle of being remodeled.

The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The only significant complaint was that the fitness center did not open until 7am. Most hotels open them at 5 or 6am; many even have them open 24x7 with room key access.

"Loved the Hotel, Hated the Front Parking Lot"

So obvious the hotel was under going renovations as we were greeted by a pile of wood pallets near the lobby front door and some areas were blocked off as construction zones. No matter as the renovation is VERY WELL done. Really great decor that includes those touches you want to make traveling easier such as 3 large spots to place and open luggage in the room. We did have an "issue moment" when we tried to turn on the air and found that the manual controls had been removed, but it turned out that the high tech digital component on the wall was the new 'brain'. Appreciated as well that our room was near the elevator and that we had a view of our car & trailer in the parking lot out back. That said, the front parking lot is AWFUL - very tight with huge culverts. Again it caused an "issues moment" until we learned there was parking in back - signage would have been nice. Also would have been nice to have a nearby restaurant to walk to, but we were reduced to take-out for dinner. But the breakfast the next morning was one of the largest I have seen at a BW and again well done - good quality and variety.

This hotel was undertaking renovations, when we came through Pensacola. I checked at front desk to make sure they were open.Materials were piled up near driveway/entrance upon arrival, with a big drywall screw in driveway waiting to puncture someone's tires.Young woman was not real friendly at first, but warmed up to us as we continued dealing with her. Room was nice, but bathroom fixtures were in need of a reno as well. Breakfast area was clean, food was good. Wasn't warm enough to go in pool.

Very clean, accommodating, all the amenities one expects in a mid-price Best Western. They are, however, in the middle of a renovation. It would be very helpful, therefore, to alert the customer *in advance* of booking, with all caveats, good and bad. Our room reeked of fresh paint and there were no other rooms available. Not good. Also, not a deal breaker but worth mentioning: the scrambled egg *discs* at breakfast were inedible, and we are not foodies. We've had better buffets at other comparably-priced hotels. A nice touch: coffee/tea available in the lobby. All in all, a mixed bag.

We stay here every time we come to Pensacola to work. They have renovated there rooms and they look great! The breakfast was really fresh and good. The staff is very helpful and make you feel at home. The manager Melissa always gives us a great rate because we stay so often. I would suggest this hotel to everyone it is the best hotel in Pensacola and can't beat the price and service!!

"A little Pricey but a good Place"

Very nice accommodations and staff, awoken at 3 am by a drunk passed out in the hall and his buddy trying to get him to go someplace other than the hall. But that happens every now and again. Right? Breakfast was OK. Have a gimmick in the pancake maker. Fun. But the eggs were bad at best and inedible by any standard. Room was comfy, well appointed with frig and microwave that worked correctly.

Location is easy on/off I-10, diversity in food choices and delivery. There is a outdoor pool, basketball, and small picnic area in the back. Hotel staff was very friendly - I would stay again. The hotel is in the process of upgrading all rooms, including furniture. The bed was too firm for me. Overall the room was nice and clean.

The hotel is very clean, easy to get to, breakfast was very nice-very good selection of items-they have a pancake maker which rated #1 with my grandson. Staff very pleasant. Beds comfortable, spacious rooms. Would not recommend staying in room opposite the fitness center, the sound comes through the wall if someone is running on treadmill.

Grab bar in handicap bathroom was incorrectly installed resulting in minor injury. Staff appeared unconcerned when the incident was reported on checkout. The renovation work in progress gave the areas finished a good clean appearance but apparently no one was checking the quality of the renovation work nor the attitude of the staff.

Joseph who was on the desk was very professional but friendly too - he gave us a great recommendation for dinner also. Our room was recently remodeled and was very comfortable - the lobby was very clean and organized enjoyed our stay!

"Very nice inn!"

This hotel is on Interstate 10 at exit 7. Desk staff were friendly & helpful, & our room was very quiet, clean and nice. (Cleanliness in a hotel/motel is so important) They serve breakfast in the a.m., which is something we always look for. There are all the amenities you could want-pool is outdoors. Also, the route from there to the Naval Air Station is so easy-it takes a little while-but very simple. There's an Italian restaurant up the road about a mile, & also a Sonny's Bar-B-Q which is very good, nearby. We had a nice stay there & would go back if in the area again.

Okay, we have stayed here before and so we stay when we are ever in the area. Good and friendly people and great rooms. Breakfast is very good and plentiful. We really cannot recommend the Blue Angel enough.

This one of the best Best Westerns we have stayed at. It is clean, comfortable and easy to get to. The breakfast is better than most of this type. This is the second time we stayed here and would go back again.

Staying here was a pleasure! Considering the rate, this is a "grand" hotel, without spending a grand. The facility is fine, rooms were clean, we all got a great night of sleep (no road noise though we are not far from the interstate). Breakfast was good, for hotel breakfast food (I do wish they had chocolate milk!!). I recommend for anyone to stay here.

Friendly and helpful staff, a clean and quiet room, and fresh hot breakfast each morning ... who could ask for anything more? Well, you can because it's also affordable, and conveniently located to everything including the beaches without being in the midst of the town's traffic.

Passed all the tests. Clean. comfortable bed. quiet. great shower head. coffee 24/7, great location, plenty of good towels, free breakfast, free wifi close to lots of places to eat and most of all staff with smiles. Would certainly return.

Thks hotel is always a pleasent stay. I stay at this particular hotel on a regular basis due to the great way they treat me as a customer. The room have always been comfortable. The atmosphere great. the staff has never been lees than pleasant. Even while doing the updating that they are in the process of, i never feel as though I am less than the most important customer they have staying. The hotel is also easily accessable from the interstate, as well as multiple places to eat.

Nicely appointed hotel. Location is 1 block off main road so you get no road noise. Showers were very nice. Desk clerk told us the Blue Angels, when they are in town, stay at their hotel. It was suggested we visit the Blue Angels Museum which is nearby. Breakfast was a little skimpy.

We stopped in Pensacola to visit the national naval air museum and booked this hotel before we arrived. The price was right, the hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff was very accomadating. It was convient to many restaurants and the free breakfast was more than enough.

both the public areas and sleeping room were neat, clean and nicely appointed. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. The motel has several good restaurants in close proximity. The breakfast area was a bit small .... all tables & chairs were taken at 8:00 am, so we had to eat in the motel lobby.

Not a stranger the Pensacola as I was born and raised there. Was in town for a funeral and decided to use the Best Western Blue Angel Pkwy. Great room. Great service, Good breakfast, an overall excellent stay. Would recommend to others.

We always stay at Blue Angel Inn on our way to Walt Disney World. The next time, though, I would drive a little further to stay at Best Western Plus Daphne, AL because the room is larger and includes a sofa bed.

Nice hotel. This was the second time we stayed at this hotel. Very clean and quiet. We enjoyed the breakfast. All the staff was friendly and welcoming and we also appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities. We will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We stayed here and it was great. Staff, atmosphere and rooms are very appealing. Breakfast was very good with a lot to choose from. I will be staying here again when I return to Pensacola. Also, the location is centrally located and easy to find.

"need new beds"

very uncomfortable beds, you would need an additional mattress topper..our airconditioner was broke..when we left they didnt ask how was our stay or seemed to care one bit. the room was also musty and the sheets were scratchy

The property is located near other hotels of the same caliber (Hampton and Holiday Inn Express) but this one had a better price point. I have been very satisfied with Best Western Plus properties in the past and this one was no exception.

"Clean and Comfortable"

Stopped here when traveling to Texas. Just needed somewhere comfy and clean after a very long day of driving. This place offered good service at the front desk and a tasty breakfast as well. I couldn't get the wifi to work., but was too tired to care.

"Blue Angels Homecoming Weekend"

We have been staying at this hotel since it opened. We come here each year for the Blue Angels Homecoming weekend airshow. The employees are all very pleasant and very helpful. Hotel is always clean and it is always an enjoyable stay.

"Traffic is a nightmare"

The hotel was good, if you plan on going anywhere during rush hour or even checking in the hotel, say between 5 to 6:30 think again. I spent 1/2 hour trying to cross the road before giving up. There are no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, you have to drive. I'll go elsewhere next time.

Excellent property. All around quality. Wifi and food excellent. Only thing I would change is use higher wattage light in bathroom over sink. It was a little too dim. Good location to Naval Air Museum and easy access to I-10.

We stayed here for vacation my wife kids and I. It was such a great stay. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. They provided us with restaurant suggestions that were local favorites and very good. They also gave us printed maps of places to visit and see while we were here. You just don't get such great customer service anymore like we got here! The breakfast was very good. They had so many choices even blueberry syrup for my kids pancakes and organic oatmeal and Greek yogurt for my wife. The breakfast lady was very sweet and even brought coffee to us at the table. Rooms were big and extremely clean. This is a must stay for any traveler and we will be back and would encourage others to stay here. TOP NOTCH HOTEL. Thank everyone for the great stay!

"Decorated for the Season, most Welcoming"

We enjoy staying at Best Western Plus and this was no exception. Unfortunately we arrived at rush hour and had difficulty getting to the other side of 10 for a place to eat. The hotel was nicely decorated for the fall, and we appreciated the touch. As in all of this chains' motels it was very clean. Our only complaint and reason for not giving it 5 stars is that they did NOT replenish the breakfast items.

5 stars are not enough. Excellent property, more than excellent management and staff. Needed a hotel on short notice, requested quiet room due to being a light sleeper. Very pleasantly surprised at the high, high quality throughout. This hotel is maintained better than so-called luxury properties costing more than $500 per night. Also, Breakfast is a plethora of choices. The caution here is to watch your waistline - and that will be difficult. Well done!

When we arrived, the desk clerk couldn't have been more welcoming and so anxious to help us. I explained I'd had foot surgery and if possible, could we be on the ground floor? He put us in a room very close to the entrance. The room was just lovely, and the next morning the breakfast was very nice, much better than many other motels. Overall everyone working there had a great attitude! This is one motel we will use everytime we go to Texas.

Very clean comfortable hotel for an over night stay while traveling. Good value for the price. In the past few years I have found Best Westerns very consistent. Reasonably priced and consistently clean and well operated. Best Western is becoming a brand I can trust.

A very comfortable and clean hotel, friendly and helpful reception staff. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the usual amenities. My wife and I would certainly stay here again.The beach in Pensacola is one of the most beautiful we have ever seen and almost no one using it, incredible, mind you there was a Classic Car Festival during the time of our stay and the crowds were all there.

We stayed here one night - my husband, college age daughter and me. We had 2 beds and plenty of space. Nice bathroom. Microwave and refrig. The pool had (temporary) issues and smelled of chlorine so we did not use it. The hotel is just off the interstate. The front desk was extremely helpful with a list of nearby restaurants. We would stay here again.

Nice stay at this hotel: Clean, Quiet, Smoke Free,and easy access to freeway and restaurants. Adequate parking for the hotel. The front desk clerk was really nice, he was very polite and respectful, seemed to enjoy his job. Our room was on the first floor. The room was really nice - modern, clean, and nice and cool. The bathroom was clean - no stains (clean tub, sink, and toilet). The linens and towels were clean. The room was furnished with small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, closet, desk with chair, lounge chair and ottoman. Everything worked well. Good video quality of the tv. The hotel had a gym on the 2nd floor - it was sparse - elliptical, treadmill, bike, and weight system. It had a water fountain and tv. The hotel also had a laundry room - one washer and dryer each. The breakfast was meh: they had that pancake maker - it made flat pancakes, they had scrambled eggs they were like the powdered tasting kind, they had biscuit and gravy, the meat varied - bacon/sausage. They had the usual other items: yogurt, cereal station, oatmeal/grits packets, coffee, danishes, toast, and bagels. The hotel was easy to get to the freeway. I noticed that some nearby restaurant chains were: cracker barrel and ruby tuesday. Walmart was like a 10 min drive away. The hotel had a business center - 2 computers, printer. Free printing. Free wifi. A small area in the lobby that sold tv dinners, snacks and drinks

Great place to stay in Pensacola. Freeway access is good and a lot of nice eateries in the area. We enjoyed this hotel very much. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. The hotel is clean and modern.

On our way to the French Quarter we spent the night in Pensacola at the Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and amenities provided by this hotel for the $109.00 we paid. There was a pool with a handicap lift, a washer and dryer on the second floor, a full breakfast buffet, a business center, a small but well stocked general store, a gazebo out back and a picnic table. Our room was quite large and very clean, I was impressed. Would definitely stay there again.

The people were nice and helpful. I ask the Service Person in the breakfast area where we could get some breakfast since we miss there and he told me where Cracker Barrel was located. I would certainly recommend this hotel because they have such an positive outlook.

THIS HOTEL WAS AMAZING..water pressure was just right not soft, the shower was huge and even had a light in it, the towels was very fresh with a fresh smell, the room was very clean, atmosphere was very cool at all times, the breakfast had a large choice of items than other best westerns and cracker barrel 4 minutes away

This is a good hotel, the rooms are clean. The free breakfast is good. From here it is 21 miles to the gulf beach. When we arrived it was a little stressed at the front desk, I think there were same internal problems and we get notice of this. I think it better to help the customer first and then take care of business afterwards.
