Best Western Plus Myrtle Beach @ Intracoastal

Great hot breakfast. Very nice stay for myself and 5 other team mates. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Only minor complaint was that our rooms were on the 3d floor and the internet signal is so weak up there that I had to go down to the lobby to use my laptop computer.

Great facility and hot cookies upon checkin! The breakfast was great and loved that it was pet friendly! The staff was very nice and helpful we had an issue with our door and they were really quick to fix it. Great deck overlooking the intercostal waterway it was beautiful!

Great hotel. I had a great stay. The staff was very friendly and attentive. While I was not a fan of the traffic of the area that was clearly not the fault of the hotel. I'm just gonna have to ramble here to make the minimum word count. I'm not sure how my opinion requires a minimum.

Hotel is very convenient we were in town to go to SextonDental, staff is super friendly, breakfast was good, lots of options, the back patio overlooks the intercostal waterway. Room was clean and stocked with plenty of blankets, towels & pillows, coffee & teas. Lots of dining options & shopping close by. It's not a top of line hotel but it's definitely not bottom of barrel. We were very comfortable and there was alot of kids there and we didn't hear any noise! I like to stay at another chain that offers 2 qn beds and a sleepersofa & kitchenette but it was unavailable so we went with Best Western. Can't really complain about much for the price Toni was so sweet, she really makes you feel welcome

It is always wonderful staying at this hotel. From the friendly staff to the cleanliness of the entire property. Reasonable prices. This will always be our hotel of choice when we go to Myrtle beach. Great breakfast choices also here. Please keep up the awesome work!

The bed was so comfy. The room was clean. It was located in the best place for families. We didn't have to drive far for food, there are so many places to eat. Also the hot breakfast in the morning was so good. There is a seating area on the river behind the hotel to watch the boats and enjoy a meal of you like. I will be coming back.

Staff was very nice. Liked that this place had laundry and dryer in the building. Also liked that you could get a place to get ice in the building. Room was clean for the most part, hard a couple dirty towels in the room, floor had some sand on the floors, and shower/ tub had hair and dirt in it.

We had a really nice stay! The ladies at the front desk were so nice and friendly. The lady who did breakfast worked her butt off and kept the area very clean and food constantly replenished. We were there 5 days and breakfast was 2 or 3 hot items plus oatmeal and gravy. They have a really nice coffee machine, too! The only complaint is that the first floor has vinyl flooring. I can tell it was swept well but it was filthy. It needed a good scrub. We stayed in a room with 2 beds and it was a bit tight for a family of 4 with a pack and play and dog. But there was a small table to eat on plu a chair and ottoman. The pool was open! The water area with deck was nice as well! I read a lot of reviews for a lot of hotels in the area and this place is definitely a nice place to stay and is budget friendly. I was also really happy the room did not smell like dog as that can be a problem with dog friendly hotels. There is a small amusement center next door, go karts are electric so it's not noisy (at least in the off season). There are 3 or 5 giant AYCE buffets in a row and a bunch of restaurants you could walk to. The outlets and Walmart are close by. We would definitely stay here again!

It was a decent stay. However, walls are thin so I was woken up several times one night by a lacrosse team having a party. Drinking and going all around the hotel. They also devoured every bit of the breakfast the next morning. & when I got out to my car the next morning they had gotten hand prints all over it. Very frustrating

Room very clean and beds were very comfortable. All employees that we came in contact with were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious and filling for our long journey back to Pennsylvania. Our check in and check out was made very easy. Getting into our room a little early was a plus. Thanks for an excellent stay.

This hotel is a great option for those not wanting to be in the craziness of Myrtle Beach main strip. It's convenient to everywhere that you need to go. The beach is just a 5 minute drive for catching those early morning sunrises. Beds are comfy, breakfast was great, & lots of great space to walk your dogs! Pool was still closed, so that would be the only down size for us. Especially since it was during Spring Break.

Great location off the beach with everything we needed. Staff was courteous and professional. The room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast selections were good. Check-in and check-out were quite easy. Cleaning staff was also friendly and helpful. Location was close to many restaurants and the event we attended. Good stay! The only complaint is that the handicapped room was not on the first floor. Getting a mobility scooter on and off the small elevator was a challenge.

Comfortable beds, good breakfast (did run out of yogurt though) good coffee variety, friendly staff. Already booked again for my daughter's wedding in July. I loved the back area of the property that overlooks the intercostal waterway. A good spot to stay, close to so much in North Myrtle Beach.

Even with remodeling happening at the hotel the room and service was amazing. Definitely will return with my family even with the fur baby as they accept dogs and you can't tell dogs have stayed there. The deck at the back it's nice however we were unable to use it due to the weather.

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The only issue I had while there was when I was checking out. The door lock would not let me back into my room, even though it was still before checkout time. The manager reset the lock, but I still had to keep the door ajar or else the lock wouldn't open for me.

Service was great and the location was great breakfast was also very good my only complaint would be a little light on the shower water pressure and small shower stalls...... Bed was comfortable and TV selection was good.... Refrigerator in microwave and coffee maker and room was a plus

This is my second stay at the Best Western Plus Myrtle Beach Intracoastal Waterway Hotel. Very clean, comfortable and affordable. Enjoyed the large room with the in-room whirlpool! The staff is polite and helpful. Already booked for a future stay!

Very nice, super clean, would have nice to know it was being painted. The fumes gave me migraines. The staff did their best to move us to a room that did not smell as bad which was better. A disclaimer would have been nice. The food at breakfast was good the the coffee maker in the lobby was awesome.

This motel has been renovated and is very nice. It has new wood laminate floors throughout, fresh paint, new bathroom fixtures, etc.. The breakfast area is spacious and the food is delicious. Comfortable bed. Very fluffy pillows. Fresh fragrance in room.

We always stay here. We have never been disappointed. It is a great location to yhe places we like to go to. The staff is always friendly. We are looking forward to coming soon and when we do we will pick this location to stay at, rooms are clean and comfortable.

Rooms and hotel in general are very clean. Friendly and helpful staff, plenty of items for breakfast, lots of parking. I have stayed at the hotel on multiple occasions and have never had any issues. Thanks for making my stay an enjoyable one!

This is a very nice location. The service was very good. Room was clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable as it was the off season. This was an unexpected visit & I booked the same day at a good rate. Only complaint, now for the second time, is the coffee. It is terrible. I like a good black coffee and the newer machine had a vanilla flavor for both selections of black. I could not drink it and had to go to a convenient store to purchase good coffee. Overall I will continue to visit this Best Western location but am hopeful they go back to better coffee which is an important part to my morning as well as others I talked to during the stay.

Wonderful stay. Great staff. Well cared for. Terrific parking. Excellent breakfast, Would definitely go back. Even had cafe latte machine. One of nicest of places we've seen on our southern roadtrip in January. About all I can say - reccommend it to others.

Iwonderful place to stay! very clean, the staff was amazing & the breakfast was delicious. It was also pet friendly! We had a reservation at another hotel that was also pet friendly, but we had a boxer and that hotel said boxers were not allowed. Best western made up for the previous place.

The Best Western Plus was just what we needed. The microwave, good size refrigerator and Keurig coffeemaker were great as well as the coin-activated laundry room. The room itself was well lit and clean, nothing fancy. A full-course buffet breakfast had a variety of choices including scrambled eggs and sausage, and the breakfast was included in the price of the room. Without hesitation, we would stay there again.

The prices were like before covid..Something we could afford.. Plus traveling with pet. They have a nice pet area ..Small pool.. Plus a cool dock out back.. Great location.. Felt safe.. Clean property.. Nice bed...

We love staying here! It's very clean and smells good! We first stayed at BW beachfront at MB and it was disgusting and outdated and the Bfast was horrible. We checked out and moved to this one. The employees are very warm, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious! My favorite thing is the dock area by the water..so peaceful.

Nice and quiet . Enjoyed walking outdoors by the deck that overlooked the water. Staff was very friendly. Plenty of places to eat in the location area. Loved the fact that the hotel smells of bleach all day long. Dog friendly hotel which I appreciate

Wonderful experience. Best employees and quiet. Just what we needed. We had been on a lengthy road trip with some of the stops having a deadline. Nice to have time to enjoy. We even took ok our first helicopter ride.

We celebrated our honeymoon in Myrtle Beach. From the minute we walked into Beat Western we felt welcomed especially as an interracial couple. The room was so cleaned I felt like I was at the Hilton . The breakfast was amazing. The pool was great. The location was perfect. I have no complaints. We definitely would stay there again.

Clean rooms, courteous staff, and fairly priced considering Mustang Week was in town. I was even given choice of what room I wanted which was extremely convenient. I'd definitely stay here again.

The room was much more than I was expecting for getting the room for under $70. Also the women who brought breakfast to a whole bus load of people leaving that morning was amazing - the food was hot and the service was great. The whole staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I requested a hair dryer and they brought one up very fast. Of course I found the hairdryer was already in the room hanging behind the door....oh well!

Dirty, smelly, hotel. black mold in the room. Was gonna stay a month checked out on the fourth day. Requested a refund. I don't reccomend this hotel to anyone, especially if you have health issues. The deck in the back was nice.

Staff was very kind and courteous. Breakfast was very good. Tables in breakfast area need to be cleaned better and more regular. Mattress on bed was not satisfactory. It felt as if the two occupants were on different levels. Shower could use updating

We had to find a room quick due to time running out at another hotel. Although they were short staffed, our rooms were very clean and the breakfast staff even helped us with something to drink although they were cleaning up. Very friendly staff. Heck, I became a member!!!

Brad, the assistant manager, was truly amazing! He was kind, met each guest “where they were” and made our stay incredible. It was like staying at a 5 star, but on the strip in Myrtle Beach. We were dealing with a family loss and he let us know about the private deck which provided a much needed sanctuary for us. Everyone was kind, thoughtful and honestly wanted to help. Dino, the maintenance man, was an insightful guide. Breakfast was a full one. The pools a little small, but perfect for families with young kids. Forget the downgraded motel perception of this chain. They are a different experience all together. Thank you, Brad!

Everyone in every part of the staff was awesome. I extended my stay with no issues, had a terrible headache on checkout day and Lisa worked with housekeeping to get me a later checkout so I could rest before my drive and didn't have to pay for another night. I can't say enough about everyone at the front desk and how wonderful they were. I just retired from the car business and I would love to have had this whole team working for me.

My husband and I stayed at this location for our 15th anniversary. We truly enjoyed our visit. The hotel was very managed and tge staff were very professional and curtious. It was conveniently located to the beach and eating establishments.

Our stay was great. The staff was very cordial and professional. The breakfast was Outstanding as well as the breakfast staff. The meals were served hot and fresh. They kept the breakfast area clean. I took a sneak peek in the in the kitchen, floors and counters clean. More importantly the staff was clean.

It was quiet , no bugs. However there were 3 long brown hairs in the bed. The drapes were stained and broken from the track. The ceiling had water damage and had some bubbling. Other wise clean. Needed a last minute place to stay. Wouldn't stay again.

The double handicap room was roomy and clean except for the chair with a stain. The bathroom door was too small for the wheelchair?! The fridge is big, no freezer. The ceiling fan was a plus. Room was cool and quiet. They kept the dogs at one end of the hallway, which was nice . The deck overlooking inland waterway is wheelchair accessible, but it is at the end of the parking lot. Breakfast is good. They have a covered entrance and automatic doors. Rug at entrance is a trip hazard.

The staff was amazing and super friendly. Our room was easy to find. My only downfall to my stay was that there were roaches in the room. I know its not always the hotels fault as dirty people bring in bigs but it made my stay uneasy for myself and my kids

The room was very clean. The blankets and towels were spotless. I loved the wooded floor and the bathroom. The breakfast was OK and the staff are all nice and professional. The lady that served breakfast was very pleasant. I am my kids enjoyed our stay. I will definitely stay in the hotel next time and I recommend the hotel to anyone that needs affordable and comfortable place to stay at Myrtle Beach.

Enjoyed the location and size of the room. Room was clean but could have been a little cleaner for me. Breakfast was good but choices were limited. The staff were friendly and helpful. Especially Jessie and Shawn who worked breakfast. I would stay again.

Pretty good place to stay on a budget. The hotel is old, but has ben renovated. Very low ceilings in the hallway, especially on the second floor. I am only 5'-8”, and I could touch the ceiling standing flat. When Jesse and Shawn are working the breakfast area, it is the best. Jesse is very outgoing, friendly, and helpful. The food was good when she was there. A different crew was there our last morning and it was the opposite. It was obvious that the hostess did not want to be there. The hash browns were undercooked and the bread was on the verge of being molded! The front desk staff was ok. The room was nice, quiet, and while not spotless, it was clean enough. The pool is small and the pool area is poorly maintained. The deck that overlooks the intracoastal waterway is nice, but it is at least 50 yards from the hotel across the parking lot. The location was good for what we were there for. If looking for a cheap place for no more than 2 nights, I would stay there again.

We always enjoy our trips to Myrtle Beach, and we always choose Best Western. The staff is always the best and the location is near all our favorite attractions. We highly recommend Best Western. Also, very fare rates.

Great hotel! As soon as you walk In you experience a chill, beachy vibe! Clean room. Comfy bed. Staff all really nice! Free breakfast excellent. Free coffee and tea always a plus! I would recommend to anyone! Perfect for me and my daughter for her volleyball tournament.

The hotel was great! Very clean, ample breakfast with plenty of options. The only small thing to improve would be the water pressure, it was a little low in my room but no big deal. Overall a very good experience, especially for the value!

We had a lovely stay at the Best Western Myrtle Beach. Although we only stayed one night everything was very fresh, clean and modern. The hot breakfast was very good and satisfying and check-in/out was fast and efficient. I would definitely recommend this hotel because the staff are very friendly and welcoming and they put a lot of effort into renovating everything giving it a cozy, modern, and fresh feel to the entire place.

Recently stayed at the Myrtle Beach location with a group of friends and family for an event. Manager was extremely helpful with accommodations for the group and suggestions for group dining, etc. Rooms were clean and updated and price was incredibly reasonable. Beds were really comfy. Breakfast hostess did a great job and the food was good. Overall very good experience!

The rooms were clean. They had many different breakfast options. The location was very convenient. We would definitely chose this hotel again if we found ourselves visiting Myrtle Beach in the future.

Top notch Best Western Plus property. The room was super clean, the bed was one of the most comfortable I've slept in at a hotel, the furnishings and decor were fresh and attractive. The breakfast included a good selection and was good quality. The location convenient, though it is a few blocks from the ocean. Plenty of food options in the area.

Very clean hotel, including hallways. Also very excellent breakfast. The room telephone did not work, I reported it twice, but nothing was done. Front desk told me that the wiring has been replaced in several rooms to address this issue.

We sure enjoyed our Breakfast, Lashanda was great and kept the breakfast area clean and neat. She kept the tables wiped down after each diner left and made sure all food items were restocked. Lashanda always had a big smile for everyone

Checkin was simple and the front desk attendant was super nice. Rooms were very clean and bed was comfortable. There is a go cart park beside the hotel. It was closed during our stay so I'm not sure how that would impact a stay. Every employee we met was super nice and willing to answer any question we had.

Comfortable stay. This is a nice location on the intercostal and close to many restaurants. Our room was clean and nice. The breakfast was very good . I asked for the young ladies name as she did an outstanding job. Thank you Lashanda for a great job. This breakfast was the best I have had at motel in a long time. We will be back.

Char and the entire staff made my family stay this Thanksgiving a breeze. From Char's warm greetings to the special cleaning of my room we couldn't have ask for better service. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. Ms. Shonda, the kitchen staff constantly wiped the breakfast area, that's a Covid plus for me!!! I will definitely return in December. We appreciate your kindness and warm welcome, thanks!!!!!

Best western came through when Airbnb didn't. The best western we stayed at was very nice, safe and secure. The staff was friendly and kind even to our pets we brought along. The only issue we had during our stay was the cleaning staff talking and laughing loudly outside our room in the hall as they mopped the hall in the morning. It woke us up. Other than that it was perfect. Thanks Best Western for being pet friendly and pulling through when others failed!

Diane the assistant general manager is it's very good customer service top notch or talents are being wasted I think she should be more of a district or a field manager she knows how to take care of customers and wait on them very sweet lady when we come down we will make sure we visit her and stay there again just to be with her

For price the motel was excellent. Other Than a small front desk problem the stay was great. Nice little park in back of motel with comfortable lounge chairs. The rooms were very clean and beds comfortable.

Clean, perfect bed, a great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, easy check-in. Near some of MB's best restaurants. I like it better than downtown because it isn't packed in with 100 other hotels. Has a Go kart track on north side, a nursing home on the south side. Everything I needed. Don't hesitate to stay here and earn some points!

Totally exceeded expectations! Exceptional breakfast, the bst I have seen in a LONG time. LaShanda was great as a breakfast attendant. Megan and Charlett made checkin/checkout a very easy and pleasant experience. The room was spacious, clean, and smelled clean.

staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff do a great job, try to vary the options daily, post a cute sign as to what's available that day. In the room, the bedding is comfortable. hotel shows some wear but I always stay there when I'm in Myrtle Beach.

Mold/ Mildew! Our desk clerk was very nice and the lobby looked clean. Our room smelled like mildew/mold when we walked in. We were not there for very long so we just dealt with it. I awakened at 4 am with a terrible headache and nausea. We decided to check-out and drive home then. Our room appeared to be painted and caulked a lot leading me to believe the mold is being painted over. Over all not a bad hotel but just be forewarned.

Loved staying at the hotel, really enjoyed the free breakfast and great staff. The hotel was convenient to many restaurants, shops, and entertainment within walking distance to the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel close to a lot of amenities and restaurants. Exceptional Staff and service. Breakfast looked very good, however I did not eat at the hotel. I would recommend to anyone traveling to the Myrtle Beach area. I'll definitely go back.

Love this BW! i stay there all of the time while traveling - rooms are perfect! spacious, clean and comfortable ! the staff are amazing and welcoming too! Wifi is perfect too and the view on the back deck is relaxing !

We stayed in the executive king suite. We loved the size of the room and it suited us well. The floor was really dirty tho. That was the only thing we were dissatisfied with. It's located close to food and fun

Friendly and attentive staff, newer beds, clean and recently updated décor. Pet Friendly, free breakfast, hallways have carpeting and except for the occasional door closing in the hall it is very quite. A good value for the price!

Great stay at this hotel. Rooms were very clean and nicely updated. Nice weekend breakfast available. Although there were several pets, staying in this pet friendly hotel, they did not interrupt our stay in the least staff was very accommodating.

Very accommodating , restful, and well located to all attractions. A wonderful stay! I needed the King with roll-in shower and they had it. That was great not usually available for those handicapped. This helped make for a great stay. This will be a must stay for future trips.

My bf and I checked in with a woman named Char. She was so sweet and had the most beautiful smile. Even tho it was like 4 in the morning when we checked in she treated us with such kindness and respect and great conversation. Most people be bitter and ready to go home at these hours but not Char, she was a pleasure to work with. And we are looking forward to seeing her again in the near future at this hotel.

I did not have a pet with me but I was very happy to note that the hotel allows pets and has signs for the door letting staff know that there is a pet in the room. There were no barking dogs that I heard, and the ones I met were all well mannered.

This was our second stay at the BW Intracoastal with our dog. We had the executive room this year with the king bed and pull-out bed. Having the extra space made all the difference. Everything was great and we had no issues this time. I would definitely recommend this hotel due to the price, the centralized location, good breakfast, and the great staff. The only negatives would be the awful, too-bright LED lights in the rooms (3-way bulbs would be a life-saver), the lack of a fan in the bathroom, and the lack of a light over the sink in the kitchen area.

Many restaurants and activities nearby. The hotel seemed clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. It's not super close to the beach, and I would say it's a little pricey for being so far away from the coastline. Other than that, excellent hotel.

I have stayed here before and enjoyed my stay and this one was no different . When going to the beach this will be the place I will stay. Great service and friendly staff. The location was perfect for me , I am very much looking forward to coming back again.

Certain spots looked like they could use a little freshening up but overall we enjoyed our stay. Comfy bed, lovely & helpful staff, solid breakfast options. It rained quite a bit so we weren't able to enjoy the outside amenities but we did enjoy the jetted tub. Would stay again!

Hotel was very clean and in a great location. In a beach area, it's great to have laminated floors rather than carpet, no musty smell. Brad and Diane were great and very accommodating. The morning breakfast, a full breakfast, consisted of sausage, eggs, oatmeal, waffles, english muffins, breads, yogurt and cereal. If you have kids, they next door to a go cart track and amusement rides. Great location, great stay.

Most of the things were good except some cleanliness issue and internet. There were some bugs in bathroom and room. Internet was flaky. Front desk very helpful. If things I noted improve, we will stay again

For the price you can't beat it. Clean, (although should get rid of ALL carpet.) Comfortable and convenient location. Staff was great, Breakfast was very good and well kept up. Eggs, sausage, danish, oatmeal, waffles, etc. Would definitely book again

This hotel is disgusting. When we checked in, we had to get a broom to sweep the floor in our room. There was enough dirt, sand and human hair on the floor to fill half a dustpan. We had to wear shoes in our room for our entire 4 day stay because the floor was so filthy that it turned the bottom of our socks and feet dark brown. The elevator floor was equally soiled. On the last evening, my wife hardly slept because 2 dogs on the floor below barked almost all night. This hotel is terrible. If you're planning a trip to Myrtle beach, DO NOT STAY HERE. Trust me when I say, if you do, you'll regret it.

The hotel was clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great! The location was great, near the mall, dining and activities. I would highly recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again.

The hotel room was decent but the hallways stunk like mildew. And there was always a weird woman on the lonely staring at you everyone you had to go to the elevator. Room ac struggled to keep the room cold but I guess that's just cause it's summer outside.

Best stay ever. My grandchildren and I really enjoyed ourselves. The gentleman that was on duty at the front desk on Sunday was very helpful. They did not have the room I originally booked so he upgraded me with no extra charge to a king. We were to have had a queen oversized room. Not only was it a king room but a suite with a jetted tub. Everyone was very helpful What a great staff. Thank you for everything.

Only stayed 2 nights, hotel was clean and staff was great. would stay here again. Close to great food and shopping. Ample parking. They are pet friendly so be prepared for some barking . AC worked great, it was very hot during our stay

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. It was so nice and the bed was so comfy.. I would totally stay again..... The breakfast was hot and so good. Also loved the fact that if you wanted to have room cleaned daily you could if not then that was fine too. You just had to let them know by 11 everyday.

Check in was seamless, the room was extremely comfortable, the intracoastal waterway “sitting area” was a big bonus! We are purchasing a home in the area, otherwise we would definitely stay at this hotel again. I give it an excellent rating!

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was great.We were very close to the outlet and restaurants.There was even an arcade next door.My daughter had an amazing time.It was pet friendly but not one time was I disturbed by barking because we asked to be put on floor without pets.There was never a crowd in breakfast area so that was good.We will definitely be back on our next trip.

The location and rooms was a good value for the price of the stay. The staff is very helpful and the breakfast was enough. Keep in mind if your looking for a large pool area this might not be for you, but if you are looking for a convenient place to stay locally than this is the place.

After leaving a hotel that claimed to be dog-friendly but was as far from their claim as possible, I (with the help of my mom) found this place. They KNOW what dog-friendly us all about and what started as an anxiety-ridden trip turned peaceful and relaxing when I checked in here. The staff was great and so was the room! I'll be back.

Stayed for 4 nights and 5 days , was charged 30.00 each night for my little dog. I had to take my trash out, sweep,go get my own towels, tissue etc. I basically paid almost $1200.00 for the stay, and I had to clean my own room, and was yelled at every morning when I went down for breakfast

This was a last minute trip to the beach with family. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. The location was ok. I definitely would stay again.

Came to beach to celebrate birthday and Father's Day. The hotel was clean, check in process fast and a great location for all to do in Myrtle Beach. One issue was the breakfast, options were limited and eggs seemed powdered. But overall a great location food, gas, beach and things to do within a 15-20 minute drive.

We stayed a night passing through after our trip to Florida and picked this hotel since it was closer to the Beach. The prices are a little high, and the head boards were missing in our room, but other than that, it was a decent stay.

We stayed at this motel for 4 days the people here were wonderful the food was wonderful the location was wonderful the manager Brad was outstanding he made our visit so great we will definitely be back the price was great great location I'll give it a five star

My stay went well except the internet. I would find myself trying to connect to the Wi-Fi constantly it wouldn't reach when I needed it most. Please get more wireless routers or something to fix the issue.

I have been staying in different best westerns between madison Alabama and myrtle beach and both were clean enough I didn't feel grossed out after sleeping in their beds or just being in the rooms I can't complain

This hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and very comfortable. The breakfast was minimal with only scrambled eggs and sausage for the hot food. There was a waffle iron and a few breads.

I cannot stand it when people wright a book on their reviews so I will try to make this short and sweet. The friendliness of the whole staff, the cleanliness of all parts of hotel, the morning breakfast were all amazing. We were there as a couple for Spring Ralley Bike Week and the thoughtfulness of the staff was so shocking. They had motorcycle parking marked off, and complimentary bikers towels. The pool was open and was clean and very refreshing after the hot days. We have stayed in many hotels due to travel soccer and some that were 2 stars that should be 4 stars and some that were 4 star and should have been shut down. This by far was one of the best we have stayed in.

The world would be a better place with more people in it like Ms. Cindy. I spoke with her when I made the reservation and then she was at the front desk when I checked in. This lady is the sweetest kindness person you will ever want to meet. Her customer service is A plus. She is warm, courteous, passionate, professional, and friendly to everyone. My first hand experience with her was fabulous. I saw how she interacted with the other guest and it blew me away. She loves her job and it shows how well she treats people. I would like to say thank you Cindy. You are a beautiful person and your personality is amazing. God bless you young lady.

I was in town for a visit and a conference it was a great location the desk front desk staff was absolutely wonderful Morgan was so helpful to me while I was there and it's so close and convenient to attractions and walkable distance to places to eat and shop which I loved because I didn't have to spend all of my money taking Ubers everywhere I needed to go also the Belgian waffles and sausage for breakfast was wonderful so I didn't have to spend my per diem money on breakfast definitely good price for the money the housekeeping staff was especially kind and professional as well I really loved it

Stayed for a week in may and couldn't have had a better place to stay at. Clean rooms, accommodating staff, and yummy breakfast! It's a must for anyone visiting the Myrtle Beach area! Also there is a lot to do near by as well for shopping, food, and the beach!

Just a quick overnight vacay, everything was great! Staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfy. The bed was probably the best part of the stay it wad so comfortable lol. Breakfast was good too, the breakfast attendant was sweet and helpful!

Best Western Plus is really amazing. They have the most amazing and welcoming staff you could've ever met. Really respectful and kind. Rooms are well-kept, clean and very spacious. The view outside is everything, definitely aids in the relaxation of your mind. Overall, the experience was really excellent ♥️♥️♥️

While in Myrtle Beach for a Youth Soccer Tournament, we enjoyed a two-night stay at the Best Western Intracoastal Hotel. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly, and they were even able to check us into our room early at 1pm. The rooms are very standard small hotel rooms, nothing fancy, but very functional. As we came back exhausted each evening, the beds and bedding were very comfortable! And that means a lot!! Breakfast was good & the breakfast staff was great - always busy restocking. The hotel is in a great location for all of the newer Myrtle Beach entertainment options, including - Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, Pirates Voyage Dinner & Show, and so much more! Thanks for a pleasant stay!

3rd time we stayed there and will most likely make it a 4th. Friendly, good service, rooms are nice and clean, and breakfast was good. Also, behind the hotel, they have some nice seating and table area to sit and enjoy the view of the intercoastal waterway.

This is a well ran hotel from Tina the General Manager, Brad the Front Desk Manager and Shelia the Housekeeping Manager. Great managers make a great property. The breakfast was always fresh and clean. The scrambled eggs and waffles were my favorite. Don't miss enjoying their deck that over looks the costal waterway. Tastfully decorated and very clean.

I can be picky with hotels and I stayed in multiple rooms at this hotel and left impressed with everything. All were nice, updated and CLEAN. Compared to other hotels around with similar prices this one was by far the nicest and cleanest. Well maintained grounds and located in a good area. Will be returning here.

My fiancé and I stayed for Easter weekend while getting some last minute prep done before our wedding. We loved being able to bring our pups! We were on the first floor so it was really convenient for letting them go outside and getting to breakfast. We were able to drive to a quiet part of the beach in under 5 minutes and spent a little peaceful time just hanging out on the back deck and watching the boats pass by on the waterway. We had a great weekend and the beds were super comfortable to make for an easy sleep after a couple of packed days.

We Arrived on a Friday afternoon after 17 hours of driving and the kind manager allowed us to check in an hour before the usual 4pm check-in. Room tidy with nice queen beds for the four of us. Quiet and hardly any notice from neighbors. Breakfast was exceptional and the kind breakfast attendant kept on everyone's request and she knew when things need refill or cleanup or whatever, with a smile. This hotel had an above average rating, and a nice outdoor pool which my 9 year old son loved. My family needed a few more minutes at check-out and they honored about a 20 minute window to get the rest of our stuff. Close to a heck of a lot of places and the Amusement park with Karting and bumper boats and arcade was just next door. Very centrally located. 5 minutes from the beaches. Will Stay again.

We were traveling for a family emergency and had to extend our stay as the situation evolved, which meant basically last minute every day. The front desk staff were so helpful and understanding that they worked hard to make sure we didn't have to move rooms, or relocate the cat we were babysitting for the family member in the hospital. They worked with us, they were friendly, and I am eternally grateful for how kind and helpful the night desk person was when we checked in after almost 14 hours of travel. Room was very clean, well sized, and the shower pressure was heavenly.

We were in town for my daughter's volleyball tournament so I wasn't necessarily interested in staying on the beach since we wouldn't be there to enjoy it anyway. This hotel served its purpose in giving us a clean and comfortable place to stay in between games. The beds were comfy and the rooms were quiet. I was very surprised when I stepped into the hall and heard a baby screaming in the room next to us. I could not hear the baby through the wall and was completely unaware that anyone was even next to us. They provided breakfast in the morning starting at 6:30 which was perfect for us since we needed to be at the sports center at 7am. The decor and furniture were a little outdated, but those things are not at the top of my priority list. I just need clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

For affordability and not wanting beach side this was great for us! Good breakfast and restaurants and entertainment nearby within 15 minutes Rooms were clean, Staff was very nice and helpful. Pool was not open however there is a race track for kids behind the hotel and an area to watch boats travel down a canal

Upon entry, I was greeted by a smiling hotel desk clerk. As I walked in I noticed the neatness and cleanliness. It was comforting to find out this same type of clerk was there in case I needed anything or had any questions.

After a rental reservation gone wrong this hotel came to the rescue for a couple of tired travelers. The room was spotless, the staff were amazing. While the location is not beach front there certainly are lots of ammenities nearby.

The staff was excellent, check-in / check-out were both quick and easy, hot breakfast was good, and the room was super clean. The shower had hot water with great water pressure, the refrigerator was cold, and the coffee pot and microwave were in excellent working condition.

We stayed at this BW plus based on great reviews, for an overnight stay in northern Myrtle beach area. Check-in was smooth, desk agent was pleasant and helpful, Room spotless (a little aged in bathroom but otherwise room updated). TV and phone were not working on arrival, but front desk handled it immediately and replaced both quickly, which we were very pleased with their service. Breakfast buffet was satisfactory, standard. Nice feature of hotel was a deck out back overlooking the intracoastal with chairs and tables, There is an outdoor pool but its still winter and was closed, of course. Although this hotel is right off the main highway, there was no noise from it at all in our room, very quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Location easy access to everything. Overall would stay again if we wanted a quick escape.

Looks like property was old but recently renovated. property was clean; staff was nice; Breakfast provided was only eggs, biscuits, waffle maker and cereal…no meat! Room lighting was dim; laminate flooring, remote controller was missing battery backing. Location was great!

A quick weekend get a way. We wanted to get a way for the weekend with our dog. This motel was conveniently located in North Myrtle and on the Intercoastal Water Way. The motel was clean and nicely kept. We got in around 8pm and the front desk staff was super friendly. The room was nicely appointed and clean as well. Definitely would stay at this location again.

Great location! Staff very pleasant and helpful. The hot breakfast was delicious. The TV system was ancient and frustrating to watch. The rooms were clean but the floor was not. Filthy mop or water. My socks were black from walking in the room.

Room was clean, bed comfortable. No loud noises. Food was warm and well covered. I stayed a 2nd night. I did not have pet with me but like being able to have pet travel with me. Will certainly return.

Friendly staff! Close to shops and restaurants. Well lit grounds. Felt safe. I had coffee downstairs but I wish it was in all the time. They shut it and the water off at a certain time. Choice hotels keeps water and coffee on all day and that's a nice feature. The one in Butte MT even had soup as nd crackers at 5pm. Kinda nice. You could get a cup of soup and some crackers. But coffee was always available and you could sit in the lobby and drink coffee if you were not feeling like sitting alone in your room. I was loading up my car by my self getting exhausted and quite parched and went to get a glass of water and the machine was off for water in the lobby. Imagine if you arrived from a six hour drive and wanted water . Sorry, you have to to pay $3 for a bottle of small water otherwise it was very nice. My phone never worked. My fridge went on the blink my last night there spoiling about $100 if groceries. No bueno. I didn't say anything. I just left. I was tired and 30 minutes late getting out and just exhausted. There was no help (bell desk) to help you to your car at all. You are on your own. I'm 60 and petite. So, be prepared. Take a step up in property if you need help! Otherwise it's nice. Housekeeping is lively. Front desk is as well.

Hotel was nice and clean but just be aware that they charge a $30 pet fee. Every other Best Western we've stayed at didn't charge for pets unless there was damage. Breakfast was fairly good. We probably won't stay at this one again because of pet fee since it amounts to 1/2 the cost of the room by itself.

Great place to stay. VERY CLEAN, very friendly staff. Great breakfast, with large variety of hot and cold items. Hotel is dog friendly, but does not smell like a kennel, as some dog friendly hotels do.

My father in law was hospitalized, unexpectantly while in Myrtle Beach. My husband and I traveled from 3 hours away to be with him. We were greeted by friendly clerks at the desk, everyday. Very welcoming from the start to the finish of our stay. We were often asked about the status of my father in law's health, which was very sweet. An amazing stay, and our go to whenever we're in Myrtle Beach. Very professional.

I have stayed at this Best Western at least six (6) times so I wouldn't be coming back if it wasn't great. Rooms and staff are excellent and they serve a hot breakfast every day. If you enjoy shows the location is less than a mile from The Carolina Opry and about 4 miles from the Alabama Theater. Loads of shopping nearby as well.

We just needed a hotel for one night for our trip to the beach. After doing a lot of research and reading a lot of reviews, this looked like the best one. It's nice because it's located in N. Myrtle Beach, away from downtown if you're not into that. The hotel and room were clean and it looks like they're doing some renovations. Our room had been updated except for the bathroom. Breakfast was good. They had all the usual choices. Eggs, bacon, muffins, and cereal (which my kids loved). My only complaint about our stay was that the heat did not work in our room. It just blew out cold air. We got back to our room late and it was only for one night so we just managed. Also, it wouldn't let me book the room online. I ended up having to call Best Western so I had to pay a higher rate instead of the online rate. Overall it was a good hotel though and I would recommend it if you're looking for a quiet inexpensive place to stay.

The hotel and my room were extremely clean. All of the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was great, it was far above any other continental breakfast in any other hotel I have stayed in. I will definitely stay here on all of my future trips to Myrtle Beach.

Jason was so helpful and friendly! Couldn't ask for a better stay!! We stated in several hotels on our trip and Best Western was, by far, the best. Quiet, clean rooms. We actually added a night to our stay since we were having such a great and relaxing time!

All of the staff is very friendly. Room looked clean but when barefoot we picked up a lot of dirt on our feet. Breakfast was good but two out of three days they ran out of items. The best part was the back of the property overlooking the intercoastal waterway. It was gorgeous back there but they need more chairs back there.

We have stayed at this motel many times over the years. Upon walking in the front door, it was immediately noticed the improved cleanliness and organization that we had not noticed in the past years. We both said to each other that it must be under a new management. We were beyond pleasantly surprised. We almost did not book there due to past experiences of lack of cleanliness and disarray. However, we decided to give it another chance (due to location and convenience). We are so glad we did! It was beyond our expectations. The improvements overall, were so impressive that we will definitely book there again in the future.

The customer service was absolutely wonderful! Jason was phenomenal. I have my medical alert service dog and the staff was well informed and very welcoming. We felt comfortable and very happy with our stay. The beds were comfortable, the staff was wonderful, and it was overall a great experience.

I didn't expect much from my stay here but I was on a budget and the good reviews won me over so I gave it a try. The reviews were true! The breakfast was great, room was clean, the beds were comfty, the location is convenient (we were able to walk to entertainment and restaurants), the staff is amazing, and parking was easy. It was our first-time visiting Myrtle Beach but it certainly won't be the last. We'll be back at this same location next year!

The only things I found that were bad was the ceiling fan didnt work and there were lines on the tv screen. Other than that this place made me feel safe. Not far from the heart of Myrtle Beach. I will stay here again.

Excellent service, excellent breakfast, everything was clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and professional. I have stayed at Marriott's that should be a Best Western and now I've stayed at a Best Western that should be a Marriott. Apparently Best Western has really upped their game recently and after staying here I will be shopping them for future stays. We were visiting family who were staying at the Apache campground so I just wanted something close and figured I'd settle for this hotel because the price was good and it was only 2 nights. I was beyond pleasantly surprised. Great breakfast with Belgian waffle makers and ready to go mix, scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, muffins, yogurt, cereal, and all kinds of juices, coffee, and hot cocoa. I haven't seen a breakfast this good since the pandemic started. My kids even refuse to spend one night with their grandparents because they didn't want to miss the breakfast the next day. The room was very clean and had a tile floor instead of nasty old carpet. That's always a huge bonus for me since carpet holds so many germs. There were two guys working 12 hour shifts handling the front desk but you could not tell because the level of service never dropped. They were always pleasant, helpful, and nice. I'm sure they're suffering staff shortage just like so many other places. Would absolutely return!

Room was okay, handicap assessible. Bed was uncomfortable, sagged in the middle. Floors and furniture were questionable as to cleanliness. Breakfast was great with a very nice girl in attendance. She was friendly and helpful. This facility needs better handicap ramps-especially at the pool door. Because of parking lot maintainence, access was difficult for handicap/scooter access, and getting luggage into the hotel. Understandable need for maintainence, but better options should have been made for paying hotel guests.

Very nice beds and pillows. This was a great location for us and not as much traffic. Room could use new paint but the room was clean. Don't get to Myrtle Beach too often would like to go back. Saw cleaning being done through out the building.

Loved the fact that this hotel let me bring my chocolate lab, he had never been to the beach and he loved it! Check in was well! Raymond is very sweet as well as the other staff members we passed. Will definitely be staying at a BW again!

The comfort of the rooms are excellent, The front desk, Customer Service, are great!! I will advise anyone, for a getaway on or near the beach, this would be the perfect spot! The breakfast are outstanding, and delicious!

We were only there a short time. Literally checked in and left 30 minutes later to walk to an event at 3001 Nightlife. We chose this location so that we could walk there and back. Check-in guy was super nice. Room was clean and comfortable. We felt safe at this location. The observation deck out back was pretty cool. Breakfast the next morning was quite good. Have to give a shout-out to "Grace" who was working the breakfast area. Best Western is very lucky to have an employee like her. She exuded the utmost in friendliness and was a delight to talk to. She cleaned while she talked to us and was a pure joy!

Check in was quick and easy. Jason was very nice and accommodating. The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The bed was alittle to soft for my taste. The breakfast was simple but good.Oversll the stay was nice

It is a good place to have a peaceful vacation only one thing they have to work on the breakfast meaning the menu needs to be changed. We have the same menu everyday and I did not like it after that everything was perfect.

I was very unhappy with the stay at your hotel during my visit to MB.. I check in on Friday the 23 and you guy who checked us in was great.. I forgot his name but he was awesome. He even asked guests how their stay was.. Now that was the only good thing about your hotel.. here is what happen 1 There were a lot of dope smoking in the rooms and could smell it all the time 2. When we got breakfast which was good.. with all that is going on. NO one was cleaning tables after people were eating. Hotel guests were having to clean them before they had breakfast 3 The worst thing was on Saturday night The TV went out when we got back to the room and during the night the air conditioner went out.. I reported to the front desk and she did not even say you all were sorry. The front girl on Sunday did not care This was my 65 th birthday that weekend and of all the times I have stayed at this hotel in the last 10 years I would not recommend this hotel .. by far the worst experience I have ever had there

we had a really big room with quiet A/C and no carpet floor. Excellent bed too. Unfortunately it sounded like someone was loudly shutting cupboards all night. Breakfast was not ready on time and we didn't get any by the time the taxi picked us up.

The good: Bed was comfy Staff was awesome Breakfast was good 24-Hour coffee Grounds were tidy Patio was nice but not much shade The bad: Room was quite dirty and not prepared Hallway floor was stained and dirty No fan in bathroom AC was weak even on full Cable was awful Rusted lamp Room smelled musty No tissues and half a roll of tp when we arrived Saw one roach run out from under bed while we were there I honestly don't think our room had been cleaned from when the last guests in it checked out. The beds had been made, but when the sheets were turned down on one I noticed dirt and sand in the bed. I just slept on top of a bedspread. Also there were no tissues in the bathroom and the toilet paper roll was only half full. The floor was dusty and dirty, underneath one chair looked like it had never been cleaned, and the room had a musty odor. I guess this is common for "pet friendly" rooms but definitely wasn't what we were expecting. I considered reporting these issues, but when I overheard one guest talking about a leaking AC unit spilling water all over the floor, and then another talking about mold and mildew in their room, I decided maybe we were the lucky ones and kept quiet. This was our first stay at the BW Plus. Normally we stay at the BW Ocean Sands, where we've never had a problem, but since we have a dog now we had to make other arrangements. I think next year we may try somewhere else.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Beds and bath were clean. The staff especially the night front desk person, was wonderful. Breakfast was better than Hilton's Hampton In . Was worried about noise because go-kart track next door but I heard nothing on 2nd fl.

The room was spacious and staff were very friendly. The pool is very small and there were a lit of people in it. I also would have liked free weights in the gym. The equipment was good. I like the jetted tube in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable.

My sister and I were very pleased with our stay. The rooms were very nice and super clean. The beds were extremely comfortable! The location was perfect and in close proximity to what we needed. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again!

Not only was this Best Western very clean, all the staff that I encountered was extremely nice. Especially the check-in representative, Jason. Went above and beyond and I hope he know how much it was appreciated!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this location.

Very clean, room looked renovated , comfortable beds, breakfast was free with standard selection. Pool is very small, good for kids. Right by the road so not very secluded. Good location right in the heart of activities, not on the beach though.

Everything was very nice. Front desk guys were totally helpful & friendly, whole facility was very clean, smelled great! Housekeeping & maintenance very good. Australian maintenance gut even helped me with my trailer. Would highly recommend this facility. Only complaint is some visitors were bad about not cleaning up outside after their pets & dropping some trash. Not motels fault but needs watched.

Very nice, clean and customer service was great. We only used it for 1 night so we could stop to rest for a long family vacation and it was great. Breakfast was good as well and the pool was smaller but okay for the kids to refresh

All the staff was extremely nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here. Location was very close to the beach and some great local restaurants. Also loved that they are pet friendly. We will stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Right around everything minutes from the beach. Even has a little shaded area with a view of the lake. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was ok. Definitely would go back!! We didn't want to leave!!!

The hotel is very clean and close to a lot of restaurants. The bed is very comfortable. Also if you have children close to the Trac go carts and arcade. There is a nice place you can sit that overlooks the water. The breakfast is good. We have stayed here twice and each time clean , friendly staff , comfy beds.

This hotel was average at best. The shower was very small , the controls for the shower were backwards . The free breakfast was just ok , usual eggs from a gallon and soggy sausage patties. The pool was so small we didnt even bother to go in it as there were a lot of kids in it. The location was good and there was lots of good places to eat in the area. I would stay closer to the boardwalk if I visit the area again. There is no bar in the hotel or places for adults to gather and relax. The gym is very small but does have three good pieces of equipment. Staff was very nice.

This place stinks literally like mold and mildew.Our room was filthy and had mold on the pictures,curtains and in the shower.The floor had not been cleaned in awhile and smells as though the room had been wet at some point.The water pressure is pathetic.Barely enough pressure to wash the soap off your body.We had yard apes around us patting till 4:30 am slamming doors and yelling!!

Like all tourist area hotels, this Best Western is now different. The ammenities are average and the rooms are average. I've stayed at this particular hotel 4 times, twice during the offseason, and twice during the summer months. The nightly cost to stay during the summer months is almost quadruple than the nightly cost during off season months. I'd expect if they are gonna do that, that they would at least offer some extra perks with the rooms or start offering a late meal or something. The rise in cost just isn't justifiable in my opinion. You're almost better off getting an Air BNBat those summer rates.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the beds were made nicely. We didn't want anyone to clean our room so the staff brought us trash bags. The only complaint I have is the beds didn't look like queen size.

Staff was pleasant, breakfast was okay, Unfortunately I found a soled diaper underneath one of the beds. When staff was inform soiled diaper was quickly removed from room. My friends and I decided on a quick getaway. We were glad of the location where there were restaurants and shopping areas in close proximity. Also only two miles away from the beach

Clean hotel. Friendly staff. Everything I expect from the Best Western chain. I guess there is a 200 character minimum, so I am just typing because I do not know what else to say in order to get to 200.

Overall stay was good. First night, however, I woke up at about 2:00a.m to the smoke detector beeping. Having failed to sleep through it, I realized I had a spare 9V battery to replace the bad one. Finally went back to sleep after 3a.m. Front desk reimbursed me with two 9V batteries but no further compensation.

I truly enjoyed my stay. Nice accommodations, and friendly staff. I would definitely do it again☺. I'm a Veteran and appreciate the care received at the property. Buffet food was great! Enjoyed my stay..

This hotel was awesome! Extremely clean. They have a cleaner on the halls several times a day sweeping, moping, changing trash, & dusting. The rooms are immaculate. The staff are super nice & welcoming. Front desk clerk Jason gave us advice on how to get last minute tickets to Pirates Voyage with was an awesome show & Dinner .. the pool is super clean, stays open til 10 & this location does NOT charge for service animals. They have been the best at accommodating us our entire stay. Our check out day we wanted to stay again & it was so easy to book more nights. The beach is only a 2 minute drive which was nice going to Apache Pier to fish & we even had lunch on the back deck of the property that sits along the coastal way. I would give this hotel 100⭐s if I could .. breakfast lasts longer than any other hotel & has so much to chose from..

Had a nice 6 night stay while our movers were making the trip down from New England. Hotel was clean, staff friendly and they accept pets which helped us out. They have a nice deck on the intracoastal with great seating for a relaxing evening. Fun to watch the boats travel up and down. Close to restaurants and Tanger Outlet is a short drive down the street.

The hotel is in a great area but it is also pet friendly so keep that in mind. We were not aware and was disturbed by barking the whole weekend. Also the shower is very small could hardly turn around due to bar placement. Front desk staff very friendly the housekeeping staff very stand-offish.

Great place and location. Myrtle Beach is always high in prices but this place was decently priced. Staff was excellent and all was well. Bathroom floor was a bit sticky but other than that a great overall stay.

This is a really nice place. The beds are not like most places the beds are really clean an really relaxing. Alot of other hotels smell soar an like mildew when you walk into the rooms not The Best Western myrtle beach. When you walk in to the rooms at The Best Western myrtle beach they smell really clean. We decided to stay here as a short vacation. I am very pleased i found this gem not only did I get a warm friendly welcoming but found out they are pet friendly. The breakfast was amazing nice variety of foods from eggs to waffles. The hotel offers free hot chocolate, teas, coffee and juices all night long. They also have a nice gym and laundry facilities. The pool is on the smaller end but still fun. The hotel is located right next door to a go cart track.

We had a pet friendly room, that we shared with our two dogs. The room was clean, but did smell a little like other pups had been there. The help was friendly, and attentive. The breakfast was, ok, given the covid-19 status. no complaints. We plan to return and stay for 4 nights during each of the next three month while keeping an eye on our new house construction/progress. in Conway.

The hotel was fine until I got in my room. It was a wet animal smell. After sitting my stuff on bed I looked around. Spotted DOG hair all over the room!!!!! They need to have separate rooms just for people with pets.

My husband and I traveled to Myrtle Beach for a few days. The room next to us had a couple who were fighting constantly. We finally got the police involved. We were given the option to move. We need a handicap room due to mobility. We left early and came home.

The hotel smelled and looked clean, front desk lady at check in wasn't welcoming at all, very rushed and yelling at someone in the back roon. It felt very awkward, morning staff was very pleasant and kind, the room was clean but in the bathroon was a hair on the sink and on one of the towels and mold on the corner in the shower and under the bathtub rims. Nice hot breakfast with plenty of cold cereals, muffins, fresh fruit etc. Many places near by to eat and visit with family. Maybe the first check in lady was having a bad day, it kind of put a damper on first impressions. It's a bit hectic going in and out of the Hotel, heavy traffic.

The room was clean comfortable however the toiledid not work. No one was available to fix it that night,so we borrowed a plunger from the front desk and fixed the problem ourselves. Other winice se this is a nice place to stay.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus over Easter weekend for a quick getaway. We loved that we were able to bring our dog along. He had plenty of space to play happily. We loved the wood floors and how modern it made the space feel. The room was great. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom tub/shower could use some upgrading and was definitely showing its age, but overall it was sufficient for our needs. We also appreciated the kind staff who were super helpful and gave us an upgrade when our initial room had a water leak in the bathroom. Overall it was a good experience and we would stay here again if we need to trave with our dog.

The hotel is a short walk to beach access. Walkway is lined with palm trees and plenty grass for dogs. Dogs are not allowed on beach. Hotel does not provide view of ocean (partial). Hotel is clean, staff friendly and professional.

My three night stay at Best Western Plus was excellent! The check-in clerk had a pleasant personality and was very polite. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is very accessible and the entire property is well maintained. Thus, making my three night stay excellent!!

Hotel charged me a fee for using my reward points for the night. I have never had to pay a fee at any other Best Western property when using my points. Will never stay at this or any other Best Western again.

The overall property was clean (outside and out) and conveniently located. It was an older hotel and in pretty good shape. The only suggestion I had (have) was they needed to either clean or replace the hall carpet. Overall a decent place to stay and well priced. Staff in general was friendly and helpful.

I just loved this hotel and especially the location. It was so close the the Carolina Opry, you would almost walk. Took my mother to Myrtle Beach for the weekend and we enjoyed the Carolina Opry Christmas show while we were there. The Front Desk staff were just so helpful, and full of great restaurant suggestions. The elevator was out during our stay, I was told they were putting a new elevator in. The lady at the desk said it should be up and running by Monday. It didn't matter to me, because the gentleman at the desk made sure we had a 1st floor room. This was very helpful with my elderly mother. We didn't require housekeeping while we were there, but the ladies we spoke with in our hallway were very friendly and the hotel appeared to be very neat and clean.

We arrived late, but the lady working the desk was very accommodating, and a true pleasure to talk to after a very difficult day. Our room was clean, and the hotel seemed to be in a very safe area of Myrtle Beach. We had stayed at a different hotel last year on the beach, and I was not comfortable walking from the parking lot to my room. The hotel was close to Tanger Outlet, and both of the shows we attended while we were there. It's difficult for me to sleep anywhere except home, but the beds were so comfortable, they almost rocked me to sleep. We truly enjoyed our stay and we will most definitely be back. P.S. - You must visit the deck they have over looking the river out back. Beautiful and relaxing.

The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, they are in the process of painting the rooms on 1st floor but that did not bother us. It is also pet friendly. They were not serving breakfat due to Covid but they did have breakfast bags. This hotel is in a great location. There are several restaurants need the hotel and several attractions.

this is a very nice, clean place. Unfortunately I was on the 3rd floor in a handicap room and the elevator was broken!! NOT good. It had a great smelling aroma in all areas and the staff were nice. The hot water was excellent for someone who takes hot baths like me!!

So glad my husband and I decided to stay at the Best Western during our last visit to Myrtle Beach. I can't say enough about the amazing staff. They truly went out of their way to ensure my birthday weekend was amazing. The hotel and our room were very clean. To prevent the spread of covid 19, housekeeping were not allowed in our room unless we requested it. Which I thought was great! The beds were extremely comfortable, I wish my bed at home was as comfortable as theirs. The elevator was out during our stay, but they were working hard on replacing it with a bran new one. I look forward to our next stay at Best Western and hope we are able to see the same great faces.

We have stayed here before. It is in a great location for many local amenities. There were several issues. The elevator was out. We were on the first floor, but other reviews show it has been an ongoing problem. The hallway carpeting in our wing was very worn. The "breakfast provided" was a rotten banana ( have pictures), a honey bun and a breakfast bar. It was beyond disappointing. The pool was closed. On the flip side, the room was very nice and clean and everything worked as it should. There were plenty of towels, wash clothes and soaps in the room. The front lobby staff was very friendly at both check-in and out. The price was very competitive when compared to other hotels in the area.

Just a great property. Lots to do close by, about 2 blocks from the beach, close to major highways to take you around downtown beach area if you need to go that way. Very nice deck area on the waterway. We didn't use the pool it was a little chilly outside. But everyone we encountered was very helpful.

Had stayed in this hotel, Jan 2019 and was great. Can't say the same for August 2020. Room furnishings were stained and there was a cigarette hole in the bench and a large dead bug by the window. Smoke detector beeping low battery in another room they tried to put us in and in another room, the beds were made but the pillows were all in the middle of the bed without pillow cases on them.

Reception area and staff were nice. Pool was ok. Breakfast was a brown lunchbag with a convenience store honey bun, banana, and granola bar. Hallway carpets were filthy! Wads of dog fur and trash were there for a few days until they were cleaned toward the end of our stay. Our room floors were sticky. We had to kill 3 roaches in our room that were crawling on the walls! Staff kindly moved us to another room. We requested housekeeping services every day of our stay well before the 11 am deadline, but they never came. Wet towels and trash piled up in a room isn't sanitary! The fitness room had no cleaning products to wipe down the equipment, so it was sticky and dirty. We could've paid much less to stay at a budget motel that was this dirty, had roaches, and didn't pick up guest room trash. This was our first stay at a Best Western, and we'll never stay at one again.

Room was good but only the floor was filthy. Wifi/Internet was terrible! Value was good. Bed comfortable. No free hot breakfast. They should take that message off the scrolling sign in front. Had to ask if you want maid service due to the pandemic. Man at check in was great.

I had to change my plans a couple times the week prior to visit and I called the hotel directly. Each time I was helped in a pleasant and professional manner. Calling the hotel directly is so much better than calling a generic help line and speaking with "customer service". I arrived prior to my room being ready and the hostess offered to keep my luggage and welcomed me to enjoy the pool while I wait. Great stay. Convenient area and beautiful views of the ICW. Jamie at the front desk was very helpful and BW is fortunate to have her on staff!

Had to ask for another room. First room was absolutely disgusting. Had not been cleaned. Second room was ok . Beds were comfortable. Front desk was nice. Pool was good. Would have given three stars if not for the first room. Location is good . Beach access just a few miles away.

stay was great for 6 days. room was clean on arrival, let us check in early. staff all wonderful, tina is great! she moved our room when the key cards kept deactivating numerous times, that was the only hiccup. pool was open and was pristine. would stay again any time :)

It wasn't the worst hotel but it wasn't the greatest I felt it was a little bit overpriced for the location and the condition of the hotel staff for the most part it was pretty good I mean I would stay there again if I had to but I'm not gonna go out of my way

I liked the location of this hotel. My partner had a performance at a venue close by. The staff was friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had a King room and it was very spacious. I was not impressed by the level of cleanliness. There were some stains on the couch. There was an issue with the stopper in one of the bathroom sinks. I wish I would have stayed long enough to enjoy the jacuzzi tub.

We stayed here in late June of 2020, the facilities where very clean and the staff was very friendly. The only disappointment was the breakfasts but with COVID in consideration it was good! Would definitely stay here again.

Let me start with the good.... Great location! Very comfortable beds, updated furniture and upholstery, beautiful deck with a view. Now onto the bad.... The place was not clean. I figured with COVID they would be taking extra cleaning measures. I know how dirty it was because I brought my own cleaning products and wiped the room down. They didn't wipe down any of the furniture. It felt grimy, and I honestly felt gross the entire stay. The bathroom seriously needs some TLC. There was a blood stain on the blanket. For the first two nights I almost got contact high as one of my neighbors were getting lit. I don't know how anyone who works there could ignore the marijuana smell through the hall. As soon as you entered the room it felt damp and smelled moldy. Shower curtain had mold on it. Sink drain didn't work. The pool was dirty and had a dry rotted moldy life preserver ring. I would not stay again.

Average cleanliness but ragged around the edges. Good value though and well positioned. A favorite with local contractors. Has waterway overlook and small outdoor pool. Bring phone charger....there are no USB ports in room (at least mine didn't have one!).

Even though this Motel is older, it has been very well kept up. Our room was wonderful, the a/c worked very well and the room was clean. We were not bothered by unwelcome noise and all the guests we encountered were well mannered and nice. We have every intention of staying here again the next time we come to Myrtle Beach.

We stayed in a king room. It was very spacious. Bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful especially lady at front desk. Although we could only stay one night we will definitely be returning for a longer stay. And the view of the waterway was spectacular! Favorite best western so far!

They call the police on you if you are a male with a female visiting you at the hotel. I walked my wife to the front desk who was visiting me and she was upset, and Tina once I went back upstairs, asked her if she wanted the police on me, then after my wife left, pretended to be super nice to me. The next day, my wife told me what happened and was upset at Tina for asking, and when I confronted Tina the next day, she said yes I did, and proceeded to call the police on me and got me kicked out of the hotel to protect her job. Well, I stay in hotels 300 nights a year for business, and this is the absolute worst treatment I have ever experienced

We arrived for a three week stay from the u.k. bad timing as the coronovirus problems caused us to have to leave after one week. We did have a problem when we first arrived with noisy guests on our floor. We also felt the room we were given was not suitable for a long stay , it was small and tired in appearance. The next day the hotel had been made aware of our problems and dealt with our complaints efficiently and with understanding. We were given a bigger room with a better view . The hotel I did find was in need of some updating but it was spotlessly clean and the staff from reception to the domestic staff couldn't of been more helpful and friendly. The out door pool is small and in need of updating. There is a lovely decked area overlooking the waterway. It did turn out to be a highly unusual stay because of the global pandemic and I wish all the staff at the hotel well.

We traveled for several hours to another Best Western we were booked by mistake that was not pet friendly. Front desk gentleman called and found us a room at this hotel. We were very tired and frustrated but when we arrived we felt such a relief when we walked in the front door. They opened us with open arms! The night manager and front desk lady were wonderful! They were very kind and comforting. We slept very well, enjoyed our breakfast and the front desk lady during checkout was awesome as well. I must also mention the kitchen and house keeping staff very very pleasent as well. Thanks Best Western Intercoastal! We will be back!

Traveled with a small dog. Nice grassy area overlooking the intracoastal waterway for relaxation and for pet relief area. Disposal station with doggie bags readily available. No room odors from previous pets. Flooring was laminate, not carpet. Door hangar provided to let housekeeping and staff know that a pet was in the room. Will stay again.

Best Western Myrtle Beach( off ocean ) This hotel was very clean and was close to the show theaters and Restaurant Row. Shopping enters were very close also . Located on Hwy 17.. Not a long drive to the beach area but when I go there for the beach mostly I would use a BW that is located on the beach strip . I assume that the same excellent BW service would be there also.

This hotel was very accessible and close to most of the Myrtle Beach amenities. It was very clean and had a good breakfast. The overall value was great. We have stayed in this hotel several times. The staff was very attentive and professional. Watch your bill, though. Prior to my arrival, Best Western billed me for four nights when I had a reservation for two. I addressed this with the receiving desk clerk upon arrival and he deleted one of the two extra charges. The other was not refunded for two more days.

Convenient to stores and restaurants. Could be noisy in the summer months due to racing track right next door. Nice location next to the Intercoastal waterway, nice seating area to watch the water craft go by. Staff friendly and helpful.

Best Western properties are my 'go to' chain of hotels for one main reason, CONSISTENCY. Each property remains steadfast to a good standard. As is with most hotel chains, there is always that issue with small but noticeable age related wear and tear of the building but I find that easy enough to get by with the other high qualities such as mattress and pillow comfort, hot water and a functioning a/c heat unit. The sheets are fresh and clean as are the towels. The rooms are always clean. At least, all the properties I have stayed at in the past have been very good. Management has a lot to do with the quality and does the staff. I will continue to use Best Western as long as that quality is maintained.

The hotel was nice clean, quiet, the beds were very comfortable and staff was very friendly. The only complaint I would have is that they have better fresh fruit because the apples are mushy and the bananas are black

Had a hard time with the deposit for some reason!! Was charged a $195 deposit and when I went to ask another clerk about it, she said she had no idea. Was over-charged $70 even though it was redeposited. I hate spending too much money and this experience was very frustrating.

My grandson and I spent the night here. We always choose BW when we travel because you can always count on a clean room and excellent staff. The breakfast buffet had a good assortment of hot and cold food.

I believe this was my 5th stay at this Best Western which speaks volumes regarding my satisfaction with all levels of service. If your interests are shows or shopping the location is perfect. Last but not least is an outstanding daily hot breakfast.

Excellent service. Staff friendly and efficient. Convenient location to Carolina Opry and shopping. There is an awesome deck to enjoy watching small boats. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet of a less congested area.

Susan at the front desk is a ROCKSTAR. Susan went over the top when it comes to customer service Susan is the word Best when it comes to Best Western. Best Western is lucky to have Susan. We wished all the Best Westerns we've stayed at had someone like Susan working for them.

The check in was friendly and fast. The breakfast was great friendly and hot food. I really enjoyed my stay. With a later checkout and not paying extra for it. Staff friendly!!!!! I would recommend!!!!!!

We travel a lot and always choose to stay at a Best Western. The beds are nice and comfortable. Rooms are always clean and the rates are reasonable. The only negative comment I have is the breakfast could be better.

This property provides all the expected "hotel stuff" (location, cleanliness, comfy beds, big towels, hot/cold breakfast, very good WIFI) with a tad of quirkiness: Room 301 had very large dressing area with double sinks and large mirrors, but the bathroom door could not be closed with the toilet seat down. No biggie, just quirky. If you stay at this property on Sunday night rather than Saturday night, the value due to the lower room rate goes way up. Very nice place with very good staff insures my return stay whenever in the area again.

I picked BW online because it was pet friendly. I never saw that there was a $30 per day pet fee or I would have booked at LaQuinta who does NOT charge a fee. I was never told about the fees at check in but was given the bill at check out. I believe I was over charged as it should have been explained during the check in. I was told that rate was low so now I feel that they charged me so they could get more money from me. I was charge 100 extra for a 3 night stay so they found a way to keep my security deposit. So upset. I also never received housekeeping as I would take my own towels to them so they wouldnt have to clean my room. But yet I get charged a fee for my dog while I didnt get any other services except for a bed to sleep in and stale cereal

My stay at this locaton was great! customer service great, room was" very" clean, beds were very comfortable and breakfast was great. Great location with resturants and shops. I will stay here again!!

Was in town for a visit with daughter at college. Hotel was well kept. Had minor issue with tub faucet but Alena had it taken care of right away. Hotel was clean, room was clean and staff extremely friendly. Bathrooms could use updating but overall a very pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here while at Myrtle Beach for two nights and the hotel was very clean. We had a double queen bed room. The odd thing is no carpet on the floor but it was nice and clean. Typical room, had a hair dryer, nice size bathroom, and bfst. Typical hotel breakfast but good to start the day. We had trouble with the hotel keys not working the second night and the front desk staff got right on it no issues. The only thing I didn't like was the elevator. It made noise but had just been inspected a few months ago.

From the moment we entered the facility we were greeted with friendly employees. The room was quite lovely, the bed very comfortable, the room very clean. The breakfast was very nice. The hot foods were hot and the cold foods cold. Thank you for a great stay

Close proximity to both North Myrtle and Myrtle Beach, restaurant row and shopping. Only about 20 minutes to the airport, Broadway at the beach or Barefoot Landing. There is also a Walmart and grocery store close by

We enjoyed a quick weekend to Myrtle Beach and this Best Western was a great choice. There is lots to do within walking distance and the Tanger Outlests are just minutes away. Our room was clean upon arrival and had no odors or odd smells. We did have a king suite with whirpool tub. Having said this, this made for an odd shaped bathroom. The shower/toilet room is very small. Small enough that if the toilet seat is down, closing the door is next to impossible. But, that is a minor gripe. The only other issue we had was the rooms AC, it blows cold, but is it would get warm between cycles. We improved it a bit by setting the fan to always on, but it still felt warm, then cold, then warm and so on. We really did enjoy the breakfast provided, as there was a decent selection of food and it all had good flavor. The breakfast host that was working each morning is named James. He was a cheery person to meet each morning and made sure the breakfast area was clean and stocked. The front desk staff was very helpful with questions or needs. Overall our stay here was great and we'll try to be back again.

My stay was great the overall experience was great. I would remand Best Western to my family and friends. I love it because it's close to everything.its is also pet friendly. The location is near so many different active and restaurantsyou can walk without having to drive.

The hurricane knocked out the 1 elevator in the hotel and we were given a 3rd floor room. The crew at the front desk do assist in helping to get our things up to the room. The elevator was finally fixed on the last day of our stay. There were 2 big dogs down the hall from us that barked constantly. It wasn't bad but not the best stay we have ever had.

The stay was most enjoyable and the staff performed their jobs flawlessly. The attention to detail was first rate and if anything needed attention the staff was there to assist. The breakfast was delicious and although I did not use the exercise room it was available for my use.

I was fortunate enough to be able to stay during the hurricane. One of the few hotels I could find in the area that were still open and accepted pets. While the hurricane did take the power some time during the night, my room stayed cool until I woke the next morning. Larry, Wanda, & Toya along with the rest of the staff made sure we felt right at home. They even gave out free drinks, danishes, bagels and other finger foods so we would not have to leave the hotel during the storm. I would highly recommend this hotel, it was clean, the beds were super comfortable and the rates were very reasonable.

Me and my fiancé loved staying here. The people at the front fest was amazing. They really helped us out. We definitely will be back thank you guys for everything the past couple of days. We really appreciate it.

This hotel is fine as a regular Best Western but it falls short of being a BW Plus property. I was disappointed with the way the property looked but the people were great. The elevator was out of service and there was mold on the English Muffins.

Absolutely wonderful! Our soccer team stayed here, and Lori Beth and team made it a very special stay! They made our team a welcome sign and goody bags with snacks and Gatorade! Top notch! Stay here! Lori Beth gave me updates all along the way and was very easy to reach! I can't say the same for other companies I tried to contact. Do yourself a favor and book here!

The location is great, for we had planned several events within just a few miles from the Hotel. There is plenty of restaurants and entertainment with just several miles. However the hotel itself is in need of some repairs and upgrades. The elevator was out of service the entire weekend, the bathrooms have no fans and showed great wear and tear with cracked sinks and wet plywood around the basin area. Book your stay if you are in a pinch but we tried to do as much as possible outside of that room! The price however, is much more reasonable than any hotel we could find at the last minute.

We visited for an anniversary trip. The hotel was nice. Wood floors are new to me but everything was spotless. Everything worked in the room and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue i had was the breakfast area. Very small and cramped!

Our stay was enjoyable. The amenities were nice. We really enjoyed the deck on the water. The full breakfast was very good!, it was right in the center of everything in Myrtle Beach close to both Tanger Outlets and malls, etc.

Roach crawling in one of the beds. I was moved to another room. Saw bug crawling on floor in 2nd room. Reported it to 800#. Was informed they are having that problem because they are near the water. I informed her that I have traveled to many islands & didn't see bugs in my rooms

We arrived at this hotel to spend our anniversary for the night - dinner plans at Thoroughbreds less than a mile north from hotel. Room was very comfortable - tiled, not carpeted, yet very efficient at blocking exterior sounds. Next door to an arcade/go kart tracks, so very convenient for families (yes, we did the go karts). Down the road less than a mile is Carolina Opry and Pirates Voyage, and the beaches are about two miles away. The sun deck overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway is a nice way to relax, just a few feet further than the pictures seem to indicate Largest variety of breakfast offered than other hotels we've stayed at. Very nice place to stay for the money!!

This is a great pet friendly establishment in a great location. A nice deck area over looks the intercostal. Short distance to the beach and all entertainment along HWY 17. Offered a great rate and very reasonable pet fee ! The icing on the cake was the free breakfast of scrabbles eggs, sausage , toast, bagels, waffle maker, cereals, oatmeal, grits, coffee and juices!

Front desk staff was nice and our room was clean for the most part except for the sex toy I found under our air conditioner in the room. Also the room was humid and our sheets, clothes, etc. always felt wet. . Each day we were gone from 8am until 4 pm at baseball and our room was never cleaned while we were out! We had to go to the front desk each night to get new towels. I stayed at a hotel instead of a condo just so we would have a cleaned room each day. We picked this location since it was in the middle of all the ball fields we would be playing at.

To say I'm picky about hotels, especially their cleanliness, is an understatement. After two previous poor experiences with BW Plus, I was ready to write this chain off my list of acceptable to book hotels. This hotel is what I expect from a BW Plus. It's clean, it's fairly well updated, and the staff is superb. It has a decent breakfast (for a hotel breakfast that is) each morning and the housekeeping staff did a fine job during our 4 night stay. The front desk folks have been super friendly and helpful and while this hotel is not on the beach, it is close. It is quiet, and there's a nice pool and a nice deck overlooking the intercoastal. All in all, I'd stay here again.

We booked a room here for 3 nights and didn't make it more than 6 hours. The floor were filthy and we were afraid to sit on the furniture. The refrigerator didn't work, and when we told the front desk about the issues we were having, the only answer was to have some look at it the next day...

I had a good experience. Staff were very helpful when I booked the room and check out. I had lots of questions about paying for the room, and all staff was helpful. For a hotel that is pet friendly, I really couldn't tell there were pets in the hotel. My room was clean and comfortable. I definitely plan to come back with my dog some day. Glad to know we have a place to bring him to.

Best Western Intercostal changed my perception of the hotel chain. Was warmly greeted by the night crew who more than met my expectations. They were totally friendly and patient during and after checking in . This morning, Damian, along with the morning crew were very kind and considerate as well. They all deserve a huge raise (in my opinion) or maybe not because they probably are all very nice people outside of work as well. The totally clean room was exceptional from the cozy comfortable bed to the awesome powerful shower. It appeared that the room had been recently renovated. And then came breakfast. Outstanding effort with hot tasty scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, fresh fruit, waffles, oatmeal, grits, and a plethora of danish and toast. The coffee was also excellent as was the juice. This motel is right next to the family oriented park with racing and other fun activities for the kids, big and small. I highly recommend this Best Western! You won't be disappointed.

We were travelling home and did not have a reservation. The staff at the front desk was very pleasant and cheerful.The hallways were bright and clean and the room was cheery with pastel walls. There were laminate floors with wood-like planks. Much nicer than carpet. There was a mini-fridge/no freezer. The bathroom was a decent size with a medium sized vanity. There was a comfy chair with a lamp for reading. And the towels were big and fluffy!

Our stay at Best Western Intercostal was GREAT from start to finish. The staff here go beyond to make you feel at home. Always greeted with smiles and "How may I help you?" Our room, lobby, and outside area were always spotless.

Great overall experience, better than many of the more expensive places to stay in Myrtle beach. It's close enough to everything you might want to go do, without being so close that you feel herded like cattle trying to get around. Great staff friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stated in. Upon arrival the hotel seemed ok, the clerk Lanae was awesome. They put us in room 126 and it was downhill from there. The room smelled musty, mildew and the AC wouldn't work or the refrigerator. We went to the front desk to tell them and Lanae (she was the only good thing about this hotel) immediately moved us to room 130, it smelled a little but seemed better than 126. By morning the smell of musty, mildew was very evident in this room but was still better than 126 so we went about our day touring around since it was our vacation. We slept the next night in the room and by morning were having difficulty breathing, we started looking around the room and found black mold everywhere. Both my daughter and I are highly allergic to mold and have asthma. The smell was so bad, we went to the front desk to tell them about the black mold and Tina (different front desk lady) said she could give us a slight discount, (a discount is going to make up for exposing us to black mold?). She was rude and pretty much just brushed us off. Black mold is deadly especially to people that are allergic. Along with the bad room came the maintenance worker who thought it was ok at 7 in the morning to work in the room right next door and leave it propped open with the lock so every time he opened the door it slammed shut. He was also very rude. These rooms did not have ventilation at all and it looked like they were just painting over the black mold instead of properly addressing the problem. I will be contacting the health dept., the better business bureau, writing reviews everywhere, inform my companies' travel agency to not use this hotel ever again, contacting Best Western corporate office although I have read reviews that this will probably be a waste of time, and I called the hotel manager Larry Rushing which I am still waiting to receive a call back from Tuesday June 11 @11 AM, he was going to call me right back after his “meeting” with an employee (longest meeting in history). Days later we are still having trouble breathing. I would never go back to this hotel!!!!!

An overall great place to stay. Deserves more stars then what is given by AAA. The staff was courteous and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and fulfilling. Within a short driving distance of everything you could want to visit at Myrtle Beach.

Although a bit expensive for myself the staff here made it well worth it. They all went out of their way to be professional and as helpful as you could ask for. The mattress on the king size bed as well as the pull out couch were very clean and extremely comfortable.

While visiting Myrtle Beach my husband and I chose this hotel because of it's proximity to the Carolina Opry and we were very satisfied with our choice. Our room was spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast area was clean and the selections were sufficient. The hotel is located on the intracoastal and there is a deck with chairs at the rear of the property which provided a comfortable area in which to relax before going out for the evening. Although it is on a busy Highway with restaurants and amusements nearby, we found our stay to be quiet and enjoyable. The only issue we had was with the pool area. It was very hot during our stay and there were no umbrellas on the pool deck even though the tables had a hole in the center to accommodate umbrellas. With the sun blazing it was too uncomfortable for us to enjoy the pool. Definitely a must during the hot summer months. Other than that, it was a good choice.

We needed accommodations for aprox 4 months, we were able to get all of our crews onsite. After reaching out to Lori Beth, she was able to get us everything we needed and much more. She went above and beyond to make our stay as plesant as possible. And even put together a vacation package with discounts for our families that came up during our stay. The hotel was clean and in the heart of all the activities we could imagine. The entire staff was amazing and we enjoyed every moment of time we spent there! We felt as if we were treated like family and that is hard to find in this industry! If you need an amazing place to stay that is very affordable then please look them up! This hotel surprised me, the entry to the property was unassuming but clean and well landscaped. As we walked in to the entry to check in, I noticed the business center, the breakfast area and the relaxing atmosphere started to embrace me. The check in process was very quick and soon I was in a very clean elevator headed to our room on the 3rd floor. The room was fantastic. The floors were a laminate type flooring, clean and smooth. The walls were a bright white and the decorations were subtle but calming. Yes, I would go back. Even tho we did not take advantage of the breakfast, swimming pool , or the intercoastal viewing point, I would go back.

The rate for our stay was lower than what other hotels were charging. We were concerned the hotel would be dumpy. It wasn't at all. Very clean and everything we were needing for our stay. If you are not needing to be on the beach, this is a great find for the money.

The hotel was located close to the beach, and the intercoastal waterway overlook was ideal for afternoon drinks and relaxing. The hotel was clean and the staff was excellent. The hall carpeting looked new and the fresh smell of paint was obvious. Clean and updated all around. The staff cordoned off a small area for protected motorcycle parking. This was a nice touch and most hotels would have never considered how important this is for the many riders staying at their locations.

This hotel just gives keys to people and ask for no ID. I was lucky something bad did not happen.They tried to get in my room and the door was locked out. It was early in the morning and I was still in bed. I felt very unsafe. I was given no answers for what happened. The GM did not have the time or did not care to respond to many calls. Good luck and I hope nothing bad happens to you here.

The rooms are clean and the staff are polite and thorough. We stayed here because they are a pet friendly Hotel near our family that were staying at the beach. Check in is quick and check out even more so. We were on our way to our room no more than 5 minutes after check in. The property was clean and there was a place to walk your dog. The pool outside looked inviting but the beach was where we wanted to be I would recommend this location for anyone that wants to stay a night or two with your pet and enjoy the beach with them.

We stayed for one night waiting to get into our condo. There is a lovely deck out back overlooking the intercoastal waterway where we had coffee/tea. Also there was a good area for walking the dog and clean up.

The accommodation at this Best Western is all very nice. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Everything in the room worked except the tv remote, which was remedied easily. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. We would stay here again if we come to this area. I was especially pleased to see the pool open, as many hotels want to keep them closed until Labor Day. With the weather in the high 80's it was wonderful.

Rooms are very clean, staff helpful and friendly. Love the patio outside, sat and had coffee, watched the boats go down the intercoastal. Such a beautiful view. So calming and puts you in a Myrtle Beach state of mind. Being from the northeast it was great to sit and take in the views.

The room appeared to be clean. But the next morning I woke with a scratch throat and itchy eyes. As I always do, I bring a bottle of disinfectant spray with me and I sprayed the entire room down. The first night, something was itching me in the bed. Breakfast needs more low carb options. I'm allergic to bread. But if pastries and waffles are your thing, you will enjoy it. Overall it was an ok experience. The rooms just needs disinfectant, bleached, something to kill off the last guest germs. Thanks.

MY trip ended with me having an allergic reaction to a product that workers was using to lay carpet on the 2nd floor where our rooms were.I drove my friend to s.c. for eye surgery.we live in n.c.I traveled also with my daughter who is wheelchair bound.we were asked to let workers know when we wanted to leave our rooms because they were using glue in the hallway.we were asked wed.morning to stay in our rooms for 30 min. until glue dried.we were moved wed, night to 3rd floor.however at times i could smell the glue that caused my reaction.

Rooms are very nice and clean, front desk was very helpful, bed was so soft had a good nights rest . Staff was very nice and the ones cleaning the rooms didn't come knocking on your door saying room service.

Front Desk was very knowledgeable about Myrtle Beach (places to eat and visit) and was very helpful during the week stay for a pleasant vacation! Martika kept me laughing and smiling. I appreciated her.

We recently held a reunion for Vietnam veterans, at the Best Western Intracoastal, and were very pleased with the hotel. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and most rooms were recently renovated, making for a very pleasant stay. We also enjoyed the deck overlooking the intracoastal waterway and would definitely stay here again.

I have the king's suite which had a jacuzzi tub the king bed was amazing everything was in great condition and front desk was top-notch she made sure I knew where everything was and also made sure that I was signed up for Best Western membership

Only stayed the night, but need to unload everything off my bike. Assigned me a 3rd floor room, but found me a 1st floor room when requested. The staff was very friendly and helpful when asking questions. It is going thru some renovations but I didn't hear or see anything. It is very clean and well appointed in the area where the food and drinks are. Wireless was good. I have stayed at plenty of BW and the breakfast buffet was the best I have experienced. I was there off season so the wasn't a lot if people. There is a go cart track next door that may bring large crowds during peak season.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel has a lovely deck across the parking lot right on the intracoastal. The deck has tables and chairs and we enjoyed relaxing there and watching the boats go past. The staff was super, from the young man (I wish I had gotten his name) who handled our check in to James and Pat D. who provided the continental breakfast. It's obvious that James takes great pride in the food he prepares because the scrambled eggs and rosemary potatoes were divine! (Rosemary potatoes on a continental breakfast - who would have thought?) And he kept the breakfast room spotless by constantly cleaning when he wasn't refilling the breakfast food items. Pat D. was very friendly and helpful and even offered to make us a waffle. The hotel offers coffee and hot tea 24/7. They are also pet friendly and provide bags for pet waste. Two thumbs up!

Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed the hotel, breakfast area, and the deck rest area next to the intercoastal waterway. Nice upgrade to the site. Only concern was that the pool was not available. They should think about heating the water so that people traveling can enjoy a refreshing dip.

My husband and I were taking a week to travel for spring break, and stopped here on the way home. Everyone was very pleasant and the hotel was very nice but there is a secret that needs to be shared. It is the patio at the very back of the property along the water. I drank my tea there soaking up the sun before heading back to Canada and the snow. It was a pleasant surprise to an already great stay.

The service at the hotel is outstanding. Especially the service in the dining hall. Chef James is a superb cook. He pays attention to detail and cares about the food preparation. His conversation with the guests gives you the "welcoming" feeling you don't receive from most hotel dining staff. 11/10 for Chef James!

This review is completely HONEST! I had called several places, I was attending a memorial service, The Family condo was being used, so I had to find lodging for two days. The places I called had a Take it or Leave it attitude. The Location, and the friendliness of the Manager on the phone...... the big surprise was that it wil be cheaper to stay at the inn for a couple days than the family condo service fee of up to Three hundred dollars!

beds and pillows were very comfortable that is why i stay there when in tow, clean updated rooms staff is very nice and breakfast in the Morin is good not just cereal have eggs and waffles with juice.

Clean, great service, free breakfast, great bed, warm room in winter, hot chocolate and tea. Loved it! All the Best Westerns in the U.S. have been remodeled within the last 4 years so you can be sure it is a nice and clean environment that does not look run down or old. Great location also.

The hotel was clean and looked like it had been newly renovated. The front desk staff was helpful and the breakfast was convenient as well. There are different restaurants on the road where the hotel was, so there was lots to choose from. I would stay here again.

This place was very convenient and they are doing a lot of new renovations. Byron at the Front Desk was so helpful and kind. He greeted you with a smile every time he saw you. The free breakfast in the morning was wonderful as well. The two staff members, Pat and James were so sweet. They too greeted you with a wonderful hello and asked if they could help. We even tipped them since they work very hard. We will be back since we have a friend right next door at the Myrtle Beach Manor. Location was everything with the Best Western. Close to the Airport as well (15 Minutes)

The hotel was clean. The rooms were clean and comfortable. What makes this hotel stand out is the superior customer service. The morning breakfast is very good, but James goes out of his way to assure everyone gets what they need! He even made our granddaughter a waffle and brought her some liquid butter to our table! Other guests were treated as exceptional as we were! The morning we were checking out, our granddaughter left her jacket in the dining area. We would have surely left it if JAmes and Byron hadn't tracked us down. We certainly appreciated them going above and beyond with honesty and customer service! We also encountered a gentleman who had had the misfortune of his wife being hospitalized while they were there. This prolonged his stay at this Best Western, and he told us how wonderful the staff had been to him during his ordeal! You don't find people like this everyday! Thank you Best Western Intracoastal for this wonderful stay and your wonderful staff! We will be back!

Nice hotel, comfortable, friendly staff and very clean. The rate was very good. The hotel is undergoing renovations but the rooms were completed already and nicely done. The location was great, central to everything.

The weather was fantastic. It is really the miniature golf capital of the world. My husband and I basically went to Myrtle Beach for this reason because we are putt-putt golf and were not disappointed. The beach is long and a bit of a walk to the water edge. The hotels that line the main street would be tough to choose because they are all appealing

Hotel needs some updating finished. They installed hard flooring in guest rooms & Need to keep them cleaner. We asked for someone to clean the floors & they did. Bathroom needs a new door or it painted it was dirty looking.

The location was very convenient and the price was quite good considering it was during the off season at the beach. The room was larger than expected and very clean, and the added jet tub was a nice surrprise.

The Best Western Plus on N. Kings HWY was chosen because of its proximity to Carolina Opry, price, breakfast, and WiFi. It exceeded expectations. The lobby looked good and the front desk folks (Tina &Byron) were welcoming. The room was clean, smelled fine, and was warm. Patty D. or Patsy D. (shame on me for taking too long to write this review) was a sunshiny person at breakfast. She was engaging and eager to help out with the breakfast bar and share info about the motel and community. I will look at this place first for any other visits to Myrtle Beach. The price on the website had very few taxes/surcharges. So many other properties in Myrtle Beach have $15-25/day resort fees. Free parking here was a plus also.

We had to make a quick trip for a family funeral. The staff xoulsn't Have been any.nicer. The ease of finding a pet friendly place was terrific. I was taken ill and we had to cancel one of our night's stay. There was no hassle with the cancellation. We truly appreciated having the reservation held since it was a later than anticipated arrival. Highly recommend this venue.

this was the perfect place for my wife and I to stay 2 miles from the beach, and the deck out in back of the Hotel were the lake ran though was beautiful also the guy working the breakfast in the morning was awesome this guy took pride in his job and was super nice I would recommend this Hotel to anyone and everyone who wants a nice place to stay for a cheap price and great service.

There was mold on the carpet under the air conditioner in my room, mold on the mattress, and someone else's soap in the bathroom (used). It reeked of mildew and we got out of there as fast as we could.

The rooms were gross! Carpets were so dirty. We had red stains on our room carpet. Not sure what it was. The place smelled on the third floor. Lady at breakfast and wonderful though. The shower head wouldn't move and was pointed at the wall. Guy at front counter wasn't real excited to be there.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on a quick getaway. If you are not an extremely picky person this hotel will do, but only for a maximum of 2 nights. I couldn't stay longer than that. While the bed was comfortable, rooms were "clean enough," and spacious (there was a spa tub, and pull out sofa) it is in need of renovation. Funny thing is, I think it was recently renovated to what it is now. The elevator is scary, everytime we used it we thought for sure something would happen. The pictures are misleading. The pool is tiny and unkempt. The picture of the nice people drinking wine on the sundeck sold us, but that area is BEHIND the parking lot and dumpster, and there is no wine or people. You have to search for it and it looks like it is not apart of the hotel. You hear the traffic from the street and hallways. Good points are the location, and the staff. It is right next to some attractions and not far from Broadway at the beach and the boardwalk, and the staff was friendly.

We had to find a room on short notice due to flooding from hurricane Florence. I quickly looked online and booked a room here but accidentally booked for next month. When we came to check in, we were notified by front desk clerk, Ryan Crenshaw, that we had booked for next month. I checked and he was right. Ryan went above and beyond by not only getting us a room for a couple of nights but also notified us when there was a cancellation to extend it to the additional days we had hoped to stay. Since I had booked online and a month in the future, the room rate was lower than the price for staying this week. Ryan helped again with a displacement discount which was in between the two rates. This was really a compassionate action for people dealing with very difficult times knowing their houses is flooding. Me and my father (84 yrs old and living in the same condo complex as I do) can't express our gratitude enough to Ryan and the Best Western. Thank you. As for the hotel; it has very nice clean rooms. We had 2 queen beds, tv, microwave and refrigerator. The rooms were clean and everyone on the staff extremely friendly. It has a great location near restaurant row, hwy 22 and 31 are nearby the hwy 17N location. They also serve a fantastic free hot breakfast; eggs, meat (bacon, sausage, corned beef change daily) as well as cereal, grits, oatmeal, fruit, waffles and yogurt. If you are visiting Myrtle Beach, this is the place to stay.

My room was extremely clean!! The breakfast was so delicious and the lady that is in there cooking the food makes you feel right at home. I will most definitely be staying at this hotel again. Housekeeping was so nice.......front desk was nice too!!!!

This hotel met our need very well. It was close to where family lives and very conveniently located to markets and favorite restaurants. The Breakfast area is very ably hosted by a lady named Pat White. She was very attentive to keeping items available, while being very personable. It was a pleasure being in her area!

Great Girls weekend in Myrtle Beach!!! Stayed at the Best Western Intercoastal waterway! This was such a relaxed stay! Everyone welcomed us with such knowledge about the area & where to visit while there. The breakfast was awesome and Pat went out of her way providing class A service. My favorite part was spending the afternoons on the sun deck! What a great way to end the day....and loved meeting other guest out there. The beds were so comfy...slept sooo well. Shopping is awesome in this area. I had to buy an additional suitcase to fly back to Atlanta! I'll be returning here again next Summer!!! Thank You! Patsy

Stayed at this hotel last year, service and rooms were excellent! Came back this year and wow, they've undergone major renovations, the hotel looks GREAT! They have built a huge beautiful new sundeck in the Intracoastal Waterway, complete with tables, chairs and rocking chairs. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing at sunset, watching the boats, as much, if not more, than being at the beach which is also close by. We will definitely be back next year, same time!

This was a long trip and the comfort of the bed was just like home. The breakfast was especially good. Something for everyone. There is a lady named Pat that out does herself at breakfast. She is filling up all The buffet items all by herself. She was amazing each of the mornings that we were there. I thank her for her southern hospitality. As a family reunion group with about 60 people, and four of them over the age of 80; the check in staff immediately noticed and shifted rooms to accommodate. We had a wonderful trip and it was worth the drive from New York.

This hotel was better than I'd hoped!The great reviews don't lie, this Best Western is awesome! We arrived earlier than our check in time and were pleased to find a room ready and waiting. The front desk staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. Our room was very clean and neat and had all the amenities I could have asked for and the large flat-screen was a bonus. The internet is fast, the A/C was nice and cold, and the rooms are quiet, I almost forgot I was in a hotel! The building itself is very clean and well appointed and looked very well maintained, grass and plants outside were taken care of. Inside, the carpets, walls, and furniture were clean. No stains or "weird smells". Our breakfast hostess, Pat D, was amazing! She was polite and cheerful every morning and made sure we knew what was on the menu and where everything was located. She provided pleasant conversation and advice on local happenings and attractions. The breakfast area was always clean and well stocked. Pat D, and her friendliness and attention to detail made my stay better than I'd hoped. Great job everyone!

Best hotel that I ever stayed at. The staff really takes good care of there guest. I would rate this as a5 star motel. The service was great. the rooms were clean, the amenities were great and good.I would refer this motel to anyone as the best place to stay at in Mertle Beach South Carolina.

I came with my daughter to stay for 1 night. Rushed to check in. Only nktjced 2 lights out in batbroom..mainrenance was nice to fix. Returned to settle in and noticed syains on carpet, cracks on walls and a nasty look to the toilet which by the way if u sit and pee watch out! Yoy will get hit on the knees if someone opens the door. The price i laid for this " suite" was not worth it. I felt like i had to vet this room as i was told it was thd last 1. Looki g in the half empty parki g lot later that evenjng made me feel duped. I really should have gone elsewhere bit i gave it a chance as i felt o had no other closer options. I would like half my money back as i feel i overpaid..shop around or at least look at the room before u pay for it

The reason I gave 3 stars is for the wonderful staff, the location is great, nice pool & great to sit along the intercostal area but the room. Oh my! We had a pet friendly room, great they had tile floors , but the room needs painted , fix the toilet that leaks, rust on the lamps and floor/ then this morning when we left we killed a roach! Again the staff is great , the breakfast is wonderful but the room was very disappointing

Both Pat and Tina as well as the rest of the staff made my stay very enjoyable and comfortable. Pat did a great job with breakfast every morning. Tina was very knowledgeable about the area and helped me with Reservations and billing questions. I would highly recommend this hotel for business and vacation.

The location of this hotel was perfect. We were super close to where our relatives were staying, and had easy access to local restaurants and activities. However, the shower was broken (they fixed it quickly), the mini-fridge didn't have a freezer section so we couldn't refreeze our ice packs for our cooler, and the entire hotel had a damp basement smell about it. Otherwise, things were pretty clean and we'd go stay there again.

This was a great place to stay.I loved Myrtle Beach, and this place had a good deal. Best Western had good value and good location. And Tara was extremely helpful and accommodating to us. I would reccomend!

The only problem I had was reservations and they made me switch rooms. On our last night and that is a pain. They comped half my points and that did make me feel better. The staff were friendly and make your waffles at breakfast.

Everything in the room was damp -- the floor, the bed linens, even our clothing hanging in the closet area became damp very quickly. It was very uncomfortable to lie down on wet sheets and to dress in wet clothes! The free breakfast was pretty meager, and items were not refilled as they became empty. The biggest problem was the shower. The shower curtain bar was installed about a foot away from the tub, and the shower curtain itself was very short, so there was no way to get the curtain into the tub to prevent water from splashing onto the floor. The printer in the lobby was not working, so it was a hassle to print my event tickets, but the staff allowed me to use their printer behind the counter. The rooms are in need of updating. On the good side, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were relatively clean, but I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay at a Best Western Plus again.

Had a good stay at the BWP on Myrtle Beach. Room was clean and I got a upgrade. Will go back. I did not try the breakfast so, I can't say how that was. The price is good and liked the room. I would stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights June 2018. All the staff we had contact with was courteous and helpful. The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast area was well maintained and the attendant enjoyed making waffles for guests. Absolutely no complaints!

everyone from the time we checked in till we checked out the next day was very nice and very friendly. the room was very nice and very clean the beds were so comfortable this was our first time staying at this hotel but we will stay here again.

Room 301 was fantastic and my wife and I enjoyed our stay. Free breakfast and WIFI was great. If you go to Myrtle Beach, then Best Western Plus is the only place to say for you..... Located right in the middle of everything Myrtle Beach has to offer for a vacation of fun and great places to eat everywhere.

Outside is ugly, but the interior is very modern and clean. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The bar soap is classically mediocre, so I'd bring your own soap. Parking is scarce and compact, but parking is offered at the abandoned Burger King parking lot. Short walk from northern downtown but need to drive/Uber to waterfront.

We stayed for Memorial Day weekend. Close to everything, amd very nice for the price. Had an awesome time, no complaints, service was great, rooms were clean, and staff was helpful. Will definitely choose to stay again!!

I have been a Best Western rewards customer for several years and they have yet to disappoint me. In fact, they have exceeded my expectations with their cleanliness, service, and rates. My most recent stay in Myrtle Beach was definitely superb.

I stayed her many years but this year I was a bit concerned because they a new owner. Jack always ran a top notch place. But I am here to tell you I was very happy with my stay . For the most part it was the same . Had some new faces and some of the old staff. I highly recommend this place for your Beach get away.

The floor in our room was tile. Moisture condensed on it making the room smell musty and the floor feel clammy. Also, the hotel is in a noisy location on a busy highway. Everything else was good, breakfast was as expected, the room and public areas were clean.

It started from the time of arrival. The best service ever. Greeted by Chris n Ryan. They were friendly n helpful. The hotel was very clean, beds comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with great selections. Highly recommend this place.
