The room was extremely clean and very nice. Everything in the room was decorated nicely, there was a large picture of woods on the wall, the soap and bed and everything was clean and neat, and the people were very nice. I highly recommend this hotel.
I have stayed here several times and highly recommend the hotel. The renovated rooms are lovely, with murals and artwork specific to Tennessee and Warren County. My room had photos from Cumberland Caverns. There is a an indoor pool, nice little bar and a welcome continental breakfast. The hotel is also literally about 100 yards or so from a Dollar General so you don't have to venture far if you forget something or need snacks. The staff is very friendly and considerate!
Very clean newly renovated place with very pleasant and helpful staff. Only complaints for us were being a light sleeper and awakened several times by the road noise out front and we like bigger breakfast of most BWs with the eggs bacon sausage biscuits and gravy. Waffles were great and suggest noise machine on for light sleepers. Overall a great stay and value.
Appears to be recently remodeled. Nice clean room, comfortable bed, plenty of parking, and a couple of minute drive to lots of food choices. Nice breakfast area located in the main building. Although I did not use it there is a recently opened bar in the main building. Staff was professional and friendly.
Nice, quiet, clean, relaxing spa swimming pool good place to just get away and relax me and my family enjoyed. It definitely will stay again as soon as possible. Very nice staff, and you can even wash your laundry without traveling to laundromat
This hotel is very nice. They have done quite a bit renovation so the room and office was new. The folks in the office answered many of our questions. They represented the small town charm. This hotel is close to many parks such as Fall Creek Falls State park and Cumberland Caverns.
People are always so friendly ! Love Juanita in the breakfast area! Beds are always so comfy and handicap shower is perfect. The housekeeping lady is always smiling and so willing to help we just love everything about this hotel and we always come back ,it is our favorite in McMinnville!
Very clean and well-maintained. The staff was very attentive to our stay. The room was always clean and never ran out of towels. Will continue to stay there when we travel to McMinnville.
Wife and I stayed for three nights last week. I have stayed here several times. My last visit I thought the hotel was growing old and going downhill. I heard there were new owners and a complete remodel so we made a reservation with crossed fingers. We were sooooooo pleasantly surprised. This is nearly a new motel. New landscaping, new paint, new surfacing on the parking lot, a new bar going in and the rooms have been completely redone. New paint, new flooring, new bathrooms, new counters, new sinks, new appliances, new, new, new. Everything is new. The hotel was fully booked every night. Great job Best Western. We loved our stay.
Everyone was kind, helpful, and welcoming! We were quite pleased with the remodel the hotel has underwent. Each room is unique, elegantly furnished, comfortable, and peaceful. I love that they brought a part of nature into the room through stunning photography. We didn't take advantage of the fitness center, pool, or new bar area since we were visiting for business, but we hope to on another trip. We felt safe and comfortable during our stay and will happily return next year if not sooner!
They charged us $130 for the room for one night and then accused us of stealing a blanket from them.
Was traveling for business and booked in advance. I made a mistake and booked the wrong Monday night. When I arrived they were not interested in helping me out at all even though they had plenty of rooms available for the night I was there. The only solution they offered was to just pay for both nights. I took my business elsewhere.
The pillows on the king size bed were great. Room was clean. Staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast bar was excellent. Good location. Room was very nice with a microwave refrigerator coffee maker
The whole staff seemed to love what they are doing. They went out of their way to make sure that my Granddaughter and I were comfortable and had everything we needed, the Breakfast was outstanding and delicious oh the biscuits were so soft. Yum
Exceeded expectations When booking a "blue" BW, often we are leary. We've had some miserable experiences. But this facility surprised us. The facility is not in the prettiest part of town and pulling in the exterior was in a "remodel " stage. However, the lobby was clean and updated. Our room was completely redone...new flooring, new sink area, new shower. We got a carryout for dinner and we were offered to eat in the breakfast room. And breakfast was good, all food items were represented. Yes, a good stay.
Handicap shower was amazing, except for the flooding, housekeeper on Friday was amazing!! So helpful and sweet! I stay here several times a year, love the remodel! Beds are comfortable and room was clean!
The rooms were nice and clean. Updated too. With a beautiful shower, super comfortable beds, and new fancy TVs that you can cast to. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff were super friendly as well.
We got the handicap room because that was the last room available. My dad is handicapped and I've gotta say the shower was really convenient. The only thing is, the seat is like right next to the toilet which is kind of an inconvenient placing because that would mean people with wheelchairs would really have to bring their wheelchair in the shower with them. The bed is actually very comfortable and the tv is very big which is cool. The AC worked really well other than it was really really loud and made some pretty weird noises but it was worth it with the humid heat. We didn't know where the “no room service please” sign was the first night and so in the morning the house keeper tried to get into our room quite aggressively but we found that the sign was actually a magnet which I have never seen before. The workers are some of the nicest hotel staff I have ever met. After dealing with an awful motel down the road, this was such a blessing for us.
Excellent stay. Top notch service. Breakfast In the am was a nice plus. The town was nice, with food spots pretty close by. We stayed for 5 days and we have no complaints. Would definitely stay here again.
I was visiting with my mom for an event and we had a very comfortable stay at Best Western. The staff is so kind and they were always available for any kind of help we needed. This was my first stay at a Budget hotel and I am impressed. We also visited Isha Institute of Sciences, which is around 20 mins drive from the hotel.
Clean. Clean rooms, housekeeping was awesome. Always made certain we had what we needed to be comfortable. Beds were very comfortable, internet great, and television programing available with HBO and Cinamax was perfect. This was by far the cleanest Best Western we have stayed in. Breakfast was great all 3 mornings thanks to the sweetest and friendliest breakfast lady who trully cares about your customers. She made certain that everyone in that breakfast room was satisfied. Front desk personnel also were friendly and considerate. Prices by far were worth the stay. Thank you Best Western McMinnville for taking good care of us and making us feel comfortable. Only complaint was the pool was way too cool. Thought it was to be heated. However, yhe HOT TUB made up for that.
I was surprised by how great my experience was! Apparently someone new took it over last year and he has made outstanding changes. Room was spotless and modernized, front desk service went above and beyond, and the breakfast was great. I've stayed in more expensive hotels that weren't this good.
Stayed at this hotel for a recent family funeral, and enjoyed the recently remodelled rooms and the complimentary breakfast. Tje breakfast was excellent and the attendant, Juanita Clarke, was a delight. I will definitely stay here again when back in town.
The updated rooms are very very nice and an extremely good value for the money. Room was very clean and breakfast provided in the morning ads. Great value. Don't be scared by previous reviews from a long time ago.
the hotel was clean and comfortable . The beds were soft and slept well the staff was helpful. Be careful when booking to not book into the mcminnville oregon location . Location was convenient and breakfast was pleasant and hot . Rate was good
I have stayed here before. Has been remodeled, motel style , but with hotel style room. Good tv and channels. Comfortable bed. Water closet, nice staff. Laundry on site, I actually prefer this motel to the hampton inn there. Cheaper alsso. The only thing there is noise from cars going by but it is not a main thoroughfare. Ill stah again.
Pretty disappointed in this stay, thought it might be one of the nicer on my work trip but was not. The pool was freezing and the hot tub was COLD. The breakfast was fine. The town really gave me a bad vibe with the type of businesses that were around. It was in a very loud location. Bed was comfortable. I was going to stay 2 nights, but because I was unhappy I cancelled the second night. My room and receipt was $ 131.71. However, I got charged $363.42 and two days later was credited $231.71 which was still more than what was due for the one night stay. Next day the amount showed up right. What a mess and doesn't make you feel very confident in their billing.
Was traveling on Business and trying to avoid NashvilleTN traffic while seeking some down time relaxation at Rock Island State Park. Was greatly surprise by this gem. Recommend the hotel and the state park for travelers seeking to avoid the interstate travel and seeking some down time from Business.
Exceeded my expectations--would highly recommend this hotel. The room was updated, felt new and fresh. Bed was very comfortable, staff was welcoming and friendly. Also very quiet--could not hear any of the guests in other rooms.
Mosquitoes, Fire alarm not working, Hair dryer not working, Bath towel not cleaned. Front desk not responding. Location is good. Breakfast is also good. Front desk name start with M is not helpful. Location is good
The room wasn't serviced while we were there. We had to get our own towels and toiletries from the desk. Toilet was unstable and moved around on its base ( I reported it but no one was interested). The breakfast room had no A/C for the 3 days we were there.
Really nice renovated room!! Hope all are going to be like ours was!! I know all rooms had not been renovated so I can't speak to any other. Check in was a bit slow but the lady was very very helpful!
The girl at the front desk was so nice and helpful and she was also very pretty then later on that night I went to get more towels from the front desk, I was disappointed that the beautiful front desk woman was gone but the young man that took her place was also very helpful
Check in was great and room was clean. No breakfast or coffee available for me because of heavy cigarette smell in main hall and food prep area. I don't care to eat food or drink with any tobacco smoke. .
Great hotel to book if your hiking in the surrounding areas. Indoor pool and hot tub perfect after a long day on the trails. It's quiet, clean, a great value and the breakfast is great! Eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy and a huge assortment of other items! Second time staying there and will most certainly be back!
I rated this hotel 5 stars, because of the pleasant check-in with Mrs Beth. She was very personable and professional. She help me to understand the area and provided some helpful tips! The breakfast lady was fully engaged in stocking the food etc. and willing to help anyone in need. The room was average, but comfortable for a Best Western.
Stayed here for our 1st Cumberland Caverns concert. Only 9 miles from the venue. Easy parking..nice rooms & great breakfast selection. This was also our 1st time staying in a Best Western. Everyone was so nice including the other guests. Most definitely will stay here again for our next concert.
The check in was really easy. The man who checked me on Saturday 9/25/21 early evening was so friendly! Then Sunday morning we went early to get the complimentary breakfast. They had biscuits and gravy, sausage and bacon, scrambled eggs, waffles and much more! The lady who set up the breakfast was so friendly. Juanita chatted with us for awhile and made us feel right at home. I hope she never leaves because the world needs more people like her! The room was clean and stocked, and the bed was so comfortable! No complaints.
Our stay at the Best Western Tree City Inn was one of my favorite. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful to our family. I have never felt so cared for at a hotel. I highly recommend it to everyone.
The rooms are being renovated (including the one right next door to us) but our room was old, dirty and run down. A/C did not run properly, bathroom light burnt out during our stay, the bed was awful and worn out, and the room had cobwebs and gunk splattered on the walls.
Check in was very easy. Making reservations on the website was very easy to navigate. Staff was very polite and easy to work with. Front desk personnel was very apologetic about the breakfast being grab and go and that there was no breakfast a couple of days.
There were cockroaches in the room, toilet as well as on the A/C. For the amenities provided like the lights provided and the decor of the room, the price charged is too high. Not worthy of the price unless you are desperate for a room.
This was a clean motel and staff was very friendly. I was very satisfied with my stay here. They offered many ammenities. The location was a little bit difficult to find but once I figured out the town it was much easier.
Room was on the bottom floor, 103, tried to plug my phone into the plug in on the lamp. The plug did not work. Moved over by the sink where the coffee pot and hair drier were. Unplugged the hair dryer and roaches ran out and behind the mirror. Went and picked up some spray and went back and sprayed room completely. When i checked out the next am of course they said "we just sprayed". Isn't that what they always say?
The hotel it is what you would expect for a low key, but the people there are very nice and helpful. My wife forgot an item on a previous stay, and they saved the item for us, nicely bagged and set aside. Thank you!
Overall an okay stay. Wasn't offered breakfast so that was kind of disappointing. Messy place right now with the remodel, but my room was good. A bit noisy with a large group below me, but that isn't their fault of course. No places to eat within walking distance either, but downtown is close by and not far to get to several places.
Hotel room stunk so bad that you could smell on our clothes that were in suitcase the next day. The indoor pool had no furniture at all so I had to sit on wet concrete floor waiting while kids swam. We noticed in our room that if you jiggled a plug on one side of room it caused one of lamps to flicker which is scary and make you think there could be electrical/wiring issues which could cause a fire. Also, for breakfast you get a neon paper sack with a banana, a packaged muffin and danish and a bottle of water.....no hot food, no yogurt, no milk, no juice, etc. Also, rooms were very small and didn't were not even big enough to have a chair/desk in them. Anyway, to be fair, I will say staff were very friendly so I don't blame them for any of this. This was by far the worst value motel I have stayed in a long time. It was double the price of any other in Mcminnville so we thought it would have been better. I suggest you go ahead and stay at one of the cheaper ones as you won't be any worse off.
Made reservation back in August 2020. Arrived to room and unpacked car and left to run around town. Got back to the room later that evening and started looking around room and found the room to be nasty. The shower had mold all over the shower curtain and inside shower had some kind of huge stain on back. The dust ruffel on one bed had some type of white substance all over it. The phone table had mold growing all down the side. Door looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a while. This is supposed to be the best hotel in McMinnville, but this was my first time staying and probably my last. I should have complained that evening, but didn't want to go through moving all our luggage and other stuff that we had unloaded from the car. I have attached pics of room of items that I mentioned.
This hotel is convenient and fairly well maintained. The staff is excellent. Rooms were clean and provided good amenities. Parking was excellent. The grab and go breakfast, given the lack of a hot breakfast (due to Covid-19), was nice to have. We enjoyed our time at the hotel.
This property is desperate for updates. The carpet was old, dirty. The a/c unit rattled and was very noisy. The room was under stocked with towels and pillows. The shower bottles of body wash, shampoo and conditioner didn't work or were empty, and worse, the parking lot noise did not quiet down until after midnight, and both my partner and I were a little on the "fearful" side of many of the other guests. A rough group. The office staff was a highlight, but they lock the door after hours, so that spoke volumes to me.
The room was not properly cleaned. Clothes left from previous guests, toothpaste on the curtains somehow, and a mysterious red stain on the carpet. Might stay again if they learn how to clean correctly.
My husband and kids stayed two nights while visiting family in McMinnville. No frills but clean and good price. It is a motel rather than a hotel. There are smoking rooms and pets are allowed. I cannot stand the smell of smoke but only smelled it slightly when in stairwell. Room was non smoking. I would stay here again.
My mother and I traveled to TN for a family funeral and I booked a handicapped room for my mother well in advance of our stay. When we arrived, the only think handicapped accessible about the room was a bar in the shower and next to toilet (no more than a regular room). The toilet was extra low and my mother could not get up off of it. We had to go to Walgreens and buy a $80 handicapped toilet seat. The handicapped shower stool was broken...it had a bent leg and was so rickety that there is no way we ever would have sat on it. I immediately brought this to the staff's attention who just said "there is nothing they could do....I would have to speak to manager." During our 3 day stay, the manager was conveniently never around and I was told they would call me but they never did. The staff never removed the broken stool. Also, the room is advertised as handicapped yet the furniture was so tight that there is no way my mother's wheelchair would fit. We could barely navigate around the furniture with a walker. Very dissatisfed.
The hotel was clean and the staff did a good job of keeping it clean. The pool was nice. The room was a little loud early in the morning as morning guests began to depart. The bag breakfast was tolerable...
Thank you for always being a great place to stay. Everytime we are always pleased. There is plenty of towels, blankets, pillows and the room is always clean. My daughter enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I always recommend y'all for anyone to stay at when in Mcminnville, TN.
We had a private party to play, about 20 miles out of McMinnville, so this was a really convenient way to have a place to go at 1:30 in the morning. There were restrictions due to Covid-19, but check in was touch free. The pool and gum were closed, but that was expected. Overall, we'll be back.
Stayed here 2 times and will stay here again the next time thru. Clean and quiet and close to downtown. I didn't have the opportunity to check out the pool and hot tub. Desk layout and chair were good for laptop computing
Made reservations in October to stay here over Thanksgiving. Checked in prior to official check-in time only to find they had no rooms available based on our reservation request (one of which was for two beds - - told they were putting us in a room with a king-sized bed but it was actually a queen-sized bed). Attitude of person on front desk duty did not help. Had problems with the TV. Called the front desk, and got the same "attitude". Plus, the air unit ran all night -- colder air -- even when we turned it off completely. Very disappointing all the way around. Not accommodating to customers to include those with special needs.
Upon arrival, front desk person was very pleasant...I had asked for a 1st floor room due to hip surgery, but was told there was none available. We were put on the end of the second floor, by the stairway, so we heard everyone coming and going...be aware, this is an outside hallway motel, and while there is no smoking in the rooms, there are ash trays all along the hallways for people to get their "cancer fix." Unfortuately, those of us who don't, and who are allergic to the smoke they produce, are forced to inhale their pollution. Room was good, and bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice. There are limited motel choices in McMinnville, and there is not much info on the other locations, but they may be worth checking out. I've stayed in worse places, but this could have been much better, so be aware of the limitations.
Check in was very quick and staff was extremely friendly and cooperative.Room preference was given and Diamond Select status was recognized. Room was great value, extremely clean and comfortable.Checkout was fast and breakfast was very good with several options. Alan Crowder
The room was so musty smelling. It had few towels, no kleenex. It is very old and we will not recommend it to anyone else. It was way over priced. Not very many motels in this area so I guess this one was better than the others but we were glad to leave in the morning.
Breakfast could have been better. Milk for cereal was sour first morning, no bacon 2nd morning. Went to get extra towels and she wanted me to bring dirty ones back before taking clean. Was on 2nd floor with bad knee and back. Was not going up and down more than I had to. Pool was great but hated walking outside in the cool air and rain . Room was clean.
For one nite, we checked in quickly and the front desk was very pleasant. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, but pillows had to go. They were half the size of a normal pillow, this was their only downfall. Breakfast was of the normal type, nothing special.
Reunion. Came for my fortieth warren county senior high school class reunion 1979. The room was expensive for warren county I thought. The breakfast was just okay and could have cooked a little longer (sausage, eggs). Everything else was just fine.
Obviously renovated recently as the rooms were spotless. There's only so much you can do with a motor court style motel but this is as nice as it could be. The staff was friendly. The neighborhood was quiet. The parking lot was quite full so they must be doing something well. Great king size bed. Great Television. In room micro fridge was a nice touch. Did not eat breakfast or use pool so have nothing to add there. No apparent elevator to 2nd floor where I stayed.
Checked in late for a night on a road trip. Cool old fashioned look with the entry to your room from the outside. Very clean room. I recall a fine shower with lots of hot water. Check in lady was very friendly, wish I remembered her name for a shout out! Tiles a little worn out in the outdoor walkways, but I found it a pleasant stay. Didn't explore the rest of the facilities .
I was extremely satisfied upon my arrival to the tree city best Western. This place is spotless! From the parking lot to the bathrooms to the lobby to the room, everywhere. The beds are comfortable and parking is simple. I will stay here again, and recommend that you do too.
Clean except for the 2 pills on the floor. Good food at the free breakfast bar. Got there late, desk clerk was waiting for us. Had 3 rooms waiting. Comfortable beds. Walking to breakfast had to go around to the main entrance. When you leave your room, headed to eat, the doors in front of you are for employees only.
Reserved 3 rooms for 2 nights directly on Best Western website. NOT a discounter. When we checked in all 3 rooms were smoking rooms. Choosing a smoking room was not an option on the website, and even if it was I would never have chosen it. Front desk staff was flabbergasted that this was a problem for my group.
Became ill during night with stomach virus. Could not ride motorcycle back home which was 3 hours away. My husband left early to get car to bring me back home (6 hours RT). I called front desk, explained situation, I met resistance & they did not want to work with me on this but I had no choice. I was very ill. I left room shortly after 2pm. We later learned we were charged for another full nights stay that was $12 more than the night before. I can understand a small service fee but a full nights stay? Unacceptable!! Regardless of your motel rules you can at least show an act of kindness & sympathy for someone when they are down! Very greedy act by this facility! Sure these folks did a cha ching fist pump. Easy money taking advantage. Will never ever consider BW again in my travels!!!
The workers were all very nice and helpful. The room was clean, something to note is the entrance to each room is outdoors, not inside. Convenient to local attractions. Overall good stay, will return again if in the area.
Extremely hospitable staff. Great breakfast with lots of variety. Small and clean indoor pool and hot tub area. Small and clean fitness area. Clean rooms. Great location in McMinnville. Access to town. Safe atmosphere.
Very friendly and informative staff. All room doors are on the outside..."like a motor lodge"...might bother some people didn't bother me in the least... but I am always "prepared" anyway. There is a small indoor pool and hot tub...It is not a 5 star Four Seasons...but it is clean and serves the purpose well. Very comfortable bed in the room we stayed in.
We stayed for 5 nights in june and were very pleasantly surprised . The friendliness of the staff was the hi light of our visit , especially Flo in the dinging room who always had a smile and made us feel right at home. Breakfast was always good and the location is close to town. The only negative to the place was the cleaning could have been a bit more thorough. Carpets weren't hoovered and the bathroom wasn't cleaned during our entire stay.
We booked a room at this place because we believed it was about as close as we could get to The Caverns (home of Bluegrass Underground). When we got there, before we checked in, we asked the clerk and she said yes, you can't get a hotel any closer to the Caverns than here. After we'd already paid, we were looking at the map, and discovered there is actually a town called Monteagle, with several hotels, MUCH closer to the Caverns.
Quiet little hotel just as you pass through town. Not a big fan of outside entrances to my room, however I never heard passing traffic or disturbed by other guests passing by which was refreshing. Arrived after midnight and just wanted to go to my room. The night auditor was very pleasant, quick, and efficient with a check-in time less than 5 minutes. The beds were a bit stiff (newer mattress maybe?), but this is simply based on preference. We left early the next morning but had a chance to partake in breakfast which was go for those on the go. I especially loved the single serve Nutella packets! Over all, though not there long, a very good stay.
I was in town for a wedding and this hotel was highly recommended. First the doors to the hotel are on the outside of building (sometimes that matters). Parking Lot is ALWAYS full. My room could have been cleaned better. The bedspread was dirty and had black hairs all over it. I checked in on a friday night and just took my stuff to the room and then did not return to the room until after midnight. So I did not let the front desk know about it. I just took a sheet and pulled up over the bedspread. Saturday morning, I took the bedspread off the bed and placed on the floor. My husband check in the room later that day and he said the room was cleaned. YAY for clean sheets right? Nope, same sheet back on the bed when we returned Saturday night, again it was late (after midnight) so I just pulled the sheet up again. The chair in the room still had food in it from the last guests. And the coffee pot in the room still had coffee grounds in it from before. BUT, the breakfast was GREAT! Waffles were great they had strawberry and just the normal kind, biscuits and Gravy, Sausage, eggs, muffins and list goes on but the coffee was FRESH! The kind lady working the breakfast bar did a great job keeping it clean and was Super friendly, she made my day! There is tile as a sidewalk in between the parking lot and the hotel doors, don't expect to sleep in as the cleaning ladies walk by with the carts and it makes all kinds of noise. Rubber wheels on the carts would work wonders. OVERALL, I would give this hotel one more try if i was ever in the area again. I like to give places more than one chance. :)
My husband had back surgery in the fall. He can no longer travel long distances by car, so I was looking for a place to stay cloer to home where there are activities we would enjoy doing together. I decided to try the Best Western Tree City Inn as that area has several attractions of interest to us. The room was clean The staff was friendly. The breakfast was delicious, with variety that should suit anyone. Unfortunately, the mattress in our room was mediocre. He spent four hours watching TV from the very comfy chair in the room because the mattress was not soft and comfortable enough for a back patient. So this is a nice Best Western and it booked fast when I called for a room, but we will not be able to stay there again due to the mattresses. Maybe other rooms have beds that are comfortable, but this one caused his back pain to flare up again.
Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful. Good restaurants were in close proximity. There was a frig and microwave so we were able to enjoy our leftovers. Close to the Caverns!
Excellent hotel. Clean room with microwave and refrigerator. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Good breakfast with eggs, cereal and waffles. All juices, all types of bread and bagels. Convenient restaurants. Will stay again.
I'd recommend with anyone traveling. Good clean and very accommodating to your every need.not only good night's sleep, but breakfast was a real treat with everything from made to order omlete to bagels and made cinnamon rolls. Fir the kids pool was inviting, work out room enough to keep you going. Just watching birds while having breakfast was an enjoyable calming experience even with all the rain we encountered. No stop rain all weekend, but enjoyed stay no matter what.
We have family in the area, and this appeared to be one of the nicer hotels in town. It was clean and convenient. They have a nice breakfast. There are multiple restaurants very close by. There is no elevator, so keep in mind if have issues walking up stairs, try to get a 1st floor room. We were unable to get one, it was booked.
Even tjhough the moteal is an older facility, it has recently been updates and the rooms are clean and all of the equipment works great. The hot breakfast was very good and all the staff was very nice and friendly.
I stay at this hotel 2-3 times each year as I do science outreach at the schools in Warren Co. I travel a lot and I don't like being away from home, but the staff here is the very best. They are so friendly and helpful.
Had to be here on business so didn't spend much time in the room but it is clean and quiet and handy. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Belgian waffles and bacon were good. Beds were great! I would stay here again.
This hotel is old and doesn't look like much on the outside but it is updated and the rooms are clean. The bed was comfortable. It isn't expensive so that's a plus. The air conditioning in our room was noisy. I was disappointed in the breakfast. I didn't feel like it was very good. No fresh fruit or hot eggs of any kind. That being said, the other services and the people were great!
I would like to thank Ben for his service. When i called and made the reservation he was super helpful. When i arrived he checked us in and it was the easiest check in i have ever had. Thank you Ben for making my stay as painless as possible.
We try to stay here each time we visit Mcminnville. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It's an older motel but its always clean. They provide an excellent start to the day, with their hot breakfast. There is also a verity of yogurt and muffins.
Read all the reviews on Ben and Ruth and they don't do them justice. Those 2 individuals are the most caring, genuine people I have ever had from a hotel staff. Best Western is diffentley lucky to have them. They deserve bonuses .
The desk clerk Ben is amazing. Believe he missed his calling lol talked my husband into a hike to see the amazing sites at Rock Island State Park and Cumberland Caverns. Without him giving his recommendations in a energetic way my husband would have never went lol TY SO MUCH BEN
The room smelled and the bathroom was unsanitary. Breakfast was good, however. The clerk that checked us in was new and had no idea where we could go for a bite to eat after check-in. It might be good for hotel to have listing of restaurants for travelers.
Ben is a absolute delight. He gave me plenty of room options and helped me get a room on the first floor. Definitely will ask for him when I make reservations to come back.love this hotel. Please never change
Lobby is beautifully decorated. Young man at check in personality is unlike any hotel I have ever stayed at. He was a real treasure . Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Planning my next trip to the caverns and definitely will stay here again.
Had an issue with my booking that was completely my fault, and they worked to fix it, even though they didn't have to. Can't thank them enough for their kindness and efficiency in resolving my mistake. The front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a step above what is normally seen for continental breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if I'm passing through.
This place is clean and well stocked. Ben, Ruth, and other employees go out of their way to make your stay amazing.Ben is excellent about knowing the local hidden spots to see. also restraunts and other local attractions
Comfortable, clean and very much exceeded expectations. Front Desk attendant Ben is very friendly and knows his job well. He must have been doing this for years. Great location. Close to great places to eat
Room was clean, but had a moldy urine smell to it. A simple solution of bleach water sprayed daily would eliminate this smell, other than this the room was very clean and comfortable. Did have a issue of dogs barking throughout the night.
Can't find smoking rooms anymore except here..so I have a kid and got non-smoking but it's good to know. Slept great!! Very Clean!! We enjoyed their breakfast too!! The front desk gentleman was very polite and helpful wished I got his name. See you next time!!
Everything worked. Room was clean. Breakfast adequate. Great price. It was very cold outside and the heater worked really well. Internet was great. Only recommendation would be to use the vacuum crevis attachment all over the place.
Stayed two nights. The lady front desk agent was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there is nothing positive I can say about the hotel or its surroundings. In fact, it was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The room had an awful smell of cigarette, we had to keep the door open in the freezing temperature outside. The bathroom was dirty, the bedding and towels in horrible condition and both had a strong smoke odor. Finally, the bed was smelly and super uncomfortable. If this place is rated as the top hotel in McMinnville, TN, I would strongly advise people to look for a vacation rental option.
The room is not clean at all. Dust on phone and other places. Dirty carpet with finger nails. Bedsheets have yellow stains. Bathrooms were dirty. Breakfast very limited. Hotels who charges similar price are providing better service. Beds have weak springs and make sound when u turn around during sleep. Other hotels who charge the same cost provide lot better service.
Stayed two nights. Let me start by saying this is by far the best hotel option in McMinnville as all the others are just places to cook meth. However, the beds were not comfortable at all. The tub drain was clogged and filled up while showering and the cleanliness of the room was not bad but you could tell the cleaning staff only hit the high spots. The corners were filthy and under the desk etc was not touched. It was very loud at this place too. Noise from traffic, emergency vehicles, and my favorite source of noise..... unattended kids running around. If you gotta stay overnite in McMinnville then stay here but just know it is a 2 star at best.
The room at the Tree City inn was very nice and clean. The lady front desk agent was professional and helpful in making my stay enjoyable. The room had all I needed to enjoy a rainy night in McMinnville Tennessee. The lady front desk agent looked professional and attractive.
The hotel is in decent shape, and is a good value for the price. We choose it because they accepted dogs. However, there is almost no grass on the hotel property, and not really anything nearby where we could walk them.
Nice clean rooms, staff especially, Ruthie, was super helpful and recommended great places to visit and eat! Nice pool and sauna. Great value and close to attractions! Breakfast bar was great as well.
Nice, clean room. Breakfast was good. No free paper. Shower bathtub was a little slippery. Had outside corridors. Had to walk outside to hotel lobby and breakfast area. Wasn't a problem since weather was good but if bad weather would have been a problem. Room had refrig, microwave, coffee maker.
Hotel was nice and clean and staff was excellent. Close to all major shopping and restaurants and easy to get there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to McMinnville. It is a great place to stay and very clean.
McMinnville is the home of my ancestors. The city is beautiful and has the past and present feel. This hotel helped us feel how they would have felt being there. We need to return and do more visiting of the area in the near future.
Well, this in my view is the only place to stay in McMinnville. It is not a great hotel. It is a good hotel. They are slowly updating this hotel. I have stayed here 2 or 3 times a year over the past couple of years. The night staff is nice and ready to help you. The morning staff is ok and could be friendlier on my stay. I believe that the mattress in the room was not great. Once again. The other hotels are not that great in this area.
Don't know much about McMinnville, but I wouldn't be surprised if this is the best place to stay in town. Great receptionist, short little drive to my first floor room, lots of places close by for dinner, following a phenomenal concert at the nearby Cumberland Caverns this afternoon. The room is well appointed, freshly painted, clean, neat and smelling like fresh linens with a touch of coconut in the bathroom. Highly recommended. Great value for the price.
I was very upset with the cleanliness of the room and the smell of smoke. Our toilets was not cleaned and the trash was not removed. The room smelled so bad from cigarette smoke I had to keep the door open in the day time.
Nice hotel in a quaint little town. Has an indoor heated pool, good breakfast. The staff was very friendly and assisted us in locating a florist as we were in for a funeral. Also gave good recommendations on where to eat.
We stayed at this location while evacuating Florida during hurricane Irma. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and peace during an extremely stressful and difficult time. Debbie and Sandy are the best.our dog PJ still misses them...and their treats
Enjoyed my stay, very good parking, including a location to park my 20 ft cargo trailer. Easy access from side street for trailer and close to center of town, although no places to eat within walking distance. Good hot breakfast and great coffee.
The people who work at the hotel are very nice, but they didn't clean the room very well. Found a large, dead beetle under the sink vanity. We assumed it died there after they cleaned the room, so we made sure to move the trash can so it could be easily found...it wasn't. Also, there was an almost-empty soda can under the edge of the bed. The can was bright green and was covered by the edge of the bedspread, but if we saw it, the cleaning staff should have seen it too, especially if they changed the sheets and bedspread between guests. They didn't find it when they cleaned the room the first night we were there, so I was very disappointed with that. Additionally, our room had a hot tub in there, but it was hard to enjoy it because it took almost 40 minutes to get it filled so we could turn the jets on. It took so long because there was no water pressure and the only way to get more was to add cold water, but I enjoy very hot water, so that wasn't really an option!
We weren't planning to visit McMinnville but it came an option when then eclipse planning started. Room quality was better than I expected and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Short drive from a very quaint small town main street.
Although rather small & basic, still the best motel & amenities in the immediate area. Great rate, good location, pleasant Staff, decent services & comfortable room. No elevator to 2nd floor. Will definitely stay here again.
My employer booked me a non smoking room at Best Western Tree City Inn. When I entered my room, I notice a strong smell of smoke. I am sensitive to smoke due to my allergies.I called the front desk to verify if room 217 was a nonsmoking room. The front desk confirmed it was a nonsmoking room however was situated next to a couple of smoking rooms.I asked if I could me moved and was denied because my room was booked through Hotels.com and these non smoking rooms are not guaranteed. I shared with her that my throat was already reacting to the smoke and asked for some consideration due to a health need. Denied. Called Best Western customer service explained the situation and was told that customers the book with Best Western directly get priority over customers who book through third parties such as Hotel.com. I explained to him that I was staying 5 days with them and that my need was a health need. He refused to even try. Best Western if your focus is on money and not your customer, your brand will not survive.
We stayed here during a recent visit to the Rock Island State Park area. Staff was very friendly and helpful! This hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. I was only expecting a continental breakfast but there was actually a full breakfast with sausage, biscuits, waffles, fruit etc. I would recommend this hotel if in the area.
Clean rooms. Really nice staff. All of them were willing to help in any way. Very comfortable bed. Quiet area. Very relaxing to be able to come back to this comfort after a day of riding! We would be happy to stay here again!
Was ok all things considered need to be more handy cap friendly that was the main thing during my visit everything else was ok friendly clean was ok for short stay would not recommend for anyone with trouble climbing stairs
i would just like to comment on you as a guest, 06712EYjenniferm, i was also staying at this hotel the same time you were. i was in the lobby when your family had problems checking in- the desk clerk informed you all that check in was not until three and that the cleaning ladys were trying the best they could, they also informed you all that the hotel had no vacancies the night prior to you arrival. The way some of you, and your family were towards the workers was just down right disrespectful. I heard most of you raise your voice to the desk clerk and talk over her when she was trying to explain the situation, which is unacceptable to do to anyone for that matter. I had asked the desk clerk why there was a pest control truck there and she explained to me that it is precaution- since they are a pet friendly hotel, they call in pest control after a room has had a pet in it just to be certain that everything is okay and up to standards in their rooms. This is a wonderful hotel and I stay here every time that i am in the area and would never look anywhere else- if you had stayed at most of the other hotels in that town- you would be way more than dissatisfied. And you may want to buy another watch in your future because i did not see a shuttle arrive until 3:30- none at 315! You and your family should be more considerate with people. Every one i encountered that worked at this hotel did more than meet my expectations every time! The check-in clerk was very nice and helpful, the lady who did the breakfast bar on Sunday was amazingly nice! The employees go above and beyond to help you during your stay. If you had ever worked at a hotel in your life i think you would change your outlook! I have worked at hotels before and when there are people coming in for a wedding it is very stressful! be considerate, dont yell and be nice, it goes a long way. Also, i love the rooms here- the beds are super comfortable, the people are amazing, the pool is the perfect temperature, and the rooms are so quiet, also the breakfast bar offers the biggest selection i have seen at a hotel, and very tasty! they also offer smoking rooms, which is a major plus! I will be back again, and again!
This is the best motel I have found in McMinnville. If I cannot stay here I stay in Manchester, which is 30 miles to the west. It is clean and well furnished for business travelers and personal travel. The property was renovated three years ago so it s very good shape. The breakfast area is clean and is a bit better than most other motels.
Bed bugs, absolutely disgusting hotel! We were in town for a wedding and it was very disappointing! I don't have high expectations at all but it was amazingly gross and the service or lack of service was terrible. Our family couldn't even get into their rooms before 3:30 which they knew there were shuttles arriving by 3:15 and 3:45. This caused the wedding to begin late and was totally unacceptable! Especially when this had been planned for months! Pretty bad when you get home from your stay and you have to empty out you luggage in you driveway and wash every single article of laundry in hot water because you worried about bed bugs, etc. this place should be shut down!
The hotel was adequate, quiet and comfortable. Overall we had a good experience and may stay again in the future when we come for Bonnaroo. My only critique would be that out of the 4 nights we stayed, our room was overlooked by the cleaning services 2 days. After the first time, we alerted the desk that we were leaving and asked to have our room cleaned. Even after doing so our room was not cleaned. When we went to get new towels that night to remedy the situation, I was told that it was "very odd" that our room was not cleaned.
A straight forward Best Western that is clean, well maintained and professional staff. Nothing fancy about this property, but for the price point we were very satisfied with room cleanliness, size, beds, pillows and air conditioning. Room is a bit tight for three adults, but adequate. A quiet property with a small pool and exercise room. Had to travel a bit for dining, but there are plenty of options within 5 - 10 minutes. B'fast is adequate, not one of the best offerings we've experienced, but enough food to carry you over till lunch. A comfortable and more than adequate property for those not looking for anything fancy
We were in town for a wedding and stayed one night. Clean comfortable room and adequate breakfast to get our day started. Very few staff around that Saturday morning but they were friendly and informative. Rooms do open to the outside (motel style) and property is old but is well maintained. If you need to be in McMinnville this is the place to stay.
The staff were all very polite, organized, and willing to help in any way. The food was good, and all in all, even though we were there to attend my mother's funeral, it was a pleasant stay. Everything was immaculate.
A good place to stay in McMinnville, but they weren't that flexible about room choice. They would not give us a first floor room because we didn't book through Best Western, which is bull, because I have requested and received a room choice at other Best Western hotels without booking though them. The staff were very nice, other than the weirdness about booking and room choice. The breakfast was larger than continental, but not a full breakfast by any means and I would rate it average.
We only stayed one night, but it was clean and comfortable. Staff was very nice. I would stay here again if I'm in the area. Visited Cumberland Caverns and it was really neat. Enjoyed the beauty of the area.
This hotel was very nice, clean, confortable, and the front desk staff were the BEST. If you are looking for a great price, clean, safe place for an overnight stay in this area, this is your place. I would highly recommend this hotel to co-workers and family.
Decent hotel, nothing great, nothing horrible. Needs some maintenance but overall clean and the bed was comfortable. The town only has 2 hotels and this is by far the better choice. Good for an overnight place to rest your head.
There are two basic hotels in this small town and this one is the best by far. It has recently been renovated and was very clean. The new A/C unit was very quiet. The only negative was the very poor breakfast, at least that what they called a breakfast. They served the same sausage and biscuits every day, just warmed up the leftovers each day. You would be better off getting breakfast at a local restaurant. Overall, it is still the. Better choice of the two hotels.
The hotel room and accommodations were excellent, especially for the low cost. The staff was extremely helpful and polite. We were impressed with the quality and variety of items offered on the complementary breakfast bar. We will defiantly book this hotel again, and HIGHLY recommend it to anyone staying in the area.
I went to Tennessee to visit my daughter. We enjoyed the hot tub, fitness center, and breakfast. We missed the breakfast the first morning because it closed at 9:00am. I also visited Cumberland Caverns while I was there and enjoyed the caves very much.
This motel is listed as the number one in McMinnville. That's saying a lot. Beware they still have smoking rooms. I somehow ended up in one of them. Maybe my mistake. Either way, they wouldn't switch us to a non-smoking room. All booked up. Well, ok. Staff was nice about it, though. Beds were clean, other parts not so much. Stuff on the floor that should have been vacuumed up. The pool was nice, but hottub was another story (see pics). I guess someone dumped soap or something into it. It foamed up pretty bad. Overall, not a bad place for one night. Not the best I've ever seen, though...
Stayed Thanksgiving weekend 2016 and it was not full. Price is good. Beds and room clean and comfortable. Only problem was the other guests were fighting and broke a window but that is not the hotel's fault. Indoor pool and hot tub were clean.
We stayed 2 nights in this motel, it was very clean and well kept. the beds were comfortable, the wife used the hot tub and it was very nice. The breakfast was very good and well stocked. Woyld stay there again.
Great place to stay. Nicely updated. Very comfortable and clean room. We had a great nights sleep here. The breakfast was very good. They offered a little of everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
I hate being away from my family;however, it is nice to see that even in a quaint little town in Tennessee, there are still employees that take pride in their job. I have stayed at hotels and places around the world and some people just do mot realize that the lord cares about your character more than your success. I was sent to the BW by a company that is employing me for temporary work and rhey were concerned I would be disappointed with the facility. Fortunate for me, I accepted the reservation. Yes, it is not a 5 star motel; however, it is clean, functional, and has necessary amenities. The day lady even told me about and helped me sign up for the rewards program. They have a great hot tub, cardio machines, and a fabulous breakfast. If I could change anything, I would add weights in the gym, and sausage patties to breakfast. Maybe I am simple, but I really enjoy the comfort I feel when I have to be away from my loved ones. Kudos to the BW in McMinnville.
My husband had a work trip. Here for 5 days. His work recommended this hotel. It is a pretty small town and places to stay are slim. I was pleasantly surprised. It is very nice. It looks slightly dated from the outside but is nice inside the rooms and the lobby is spacious and beautiful. I am very impressed with the cleanliness everywhere. There is someone who mops the tile outside everyday. They have a hot breakfast in the lobby which is ok. They also have free wifi and an indoor pool. And the price is sooo good. That was what concerned me. It seemed too cheap but I would definitely recommend to anyone.
Continental breakfast was great. beds and room were clean, smelled clean and felt clean. All kinds of amenities and the shower was huge. Staff was friendly and excellent. Price was good. location is a little tricky to get to and the parking lot is a little tricky but overall we really enjoyed our visit!
Great night stay! Clean, comfy and friendly. Good breakfast with great service. Forgot some stuff in the room and they were so kind to let us know and keep it safe. Location is great. We will be back!
What a clean gorgeous room for the price! Close to everything but not right in the middle of chaos. The twins at the counter were efficient and pleasant. My room wasn't ready so they offered me another that was for the same price I was quoted. I'll stay here again for sure!
Went to hike Tennessee State Parks and found this motel. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the room and lobby area. The breakfast was very filling with waffles, bacon and gravy. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would recommend this hotel when in the area.
My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. I'm glad I chose to stay there. I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's close to many different restaurants and is nearby Cumberland Caverns. It's an easy drive to get to Bluegrass Undergeound for a show.
This is definitely not a 5 star resort by any means, but it doesn't try to be either. I have stayed at this hotel for a little over a month, and have nothing but great service. When I first checked in, I noticed the toilet seat was loose, and (I'm assuming) the owner himself came up to tighten it! The first time I went down for breakfast, I was expecting your regular cereal and coffee bar, but they also had (make your own) Belgian waffles, biscuits and (white) gravy, sausage or bacon (depending on the day), oatmeal, toast, mini blueberry muffins, hard boiled eggs, and an assortment of fruit, juices, yogurt, and danishes. After about a week, the staff knew me by name and room number, which I thought made for fantastic service. The rooms I stayed in all had a flat screen TV, microwave, and large mini fridge. The towels are about what you'd expect for a "budget" hotel, and the beds were firm, but comfortable enough to sleep in. I also had an office chair and a desk in my rooms which was nice for all of the work I needed to do. The blazing speed of the internet was nice as well, although it did cut out for a couple minutes on several occasions. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Not that there's many other options in McMinnville, but this is by far the best one. A bit of advice though, if you're coming for the weekend, make a reservation. Every Saturday night since I've been here, they've had a sign posted that says "No Vacancy", so it fills up quick, and you don't want to take your chances with one of the other places in town.
We spend a night at this motel in July. It cost $80/night plus tax. It was clean, obviously renovated and a pretty good value. Don't expect spacious rooms or mega comfortable beds(they were definitely acceptable), but the A/C was good, internet was quick and the staff was nice. It also had a small refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast buffet was OK. I would go back and stay in this same motel if going back to the area.
I stayed there in June, 2016 for business. Great rate and good quality hotel. Rooms are large and clean. Staff is very courteous and helpful. The breakfast buffet is awesome. The AC in the room worked great and plenty of channels on the TV. The bed was very comfortable and plenty of pillows.
This is older property that has had a complete renovation. Room was clean and is good value. Breakfast area is clean. Waffles very good. Have stayed there many times over several years and continues to improve. Room 201 very nice. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
This is a very good value, clean rooms, friendly staff, indoor pool and spa (private and not used much by others) decent breakfast. I asked for an accessible room, meaning ground floor. We were given a handicapped-equipped room: spy lens at normal and wheelchair height, low clothing rack, desk and sink counter with wheelchair access, totally user friendly bathroom...high toilet, open, no threshold walk-in shower with shower chair and adjustable shower heads and hand held unit. I was very impressed. Room also had a recliner...my sister-in-law was very comfortable when she visited with us.
The rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. The prices are also very reasonable. The indoor swimming pool and spa is also a nice plus. The only negative is the breakfast. Its pretty bad, but it is not a deal breaker for me.
We were looking for a hotel that would accommodate us to explore Rock Island State Park. This was super comfortable. Loved the hot tub. Staff gave us extra pillows and blanket. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in this area. Very close to Cumberland Caverns and other state parks.
When pulling up to the hotel I wondered if we had made a good choice. But the inside of the lobby was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. The rooms were very clean and comfortable beds. The pool and hot tub were super small but we didn't have time to use them. They had a nice breakfast and check out was quick and easy. Good stay for the money!
We were very pleased with our overall experience at this hotel. Not all of our Best Western experiences have been so positive, but this hotel was extremely clean and most accommodating. We will recommend it to anyone going to the area and would stay there again, no question.
This again is a refurbished Best Western Inn that falls short of my Best Western Inn expectations. Things were changed, but nor really updated. Internet was far from quick, constantly keep dropping out and had to reboot then re connect. Breakfast lacked appeal and then lacked taste.
After driving all day we wanted a heated pool to relax in. According to this motel it came with a heated pool. Wrong, it was ice cold and small. Bed was not comfortable. Staff is super friendly though.
Our room was uncomfortably damp and humid which caused all of our belongings to feel wet and damp. Not enough towels, or toiletries for those of us who forgot to bring their own shampoo and soap. Also, just a personal gripe, but why do they have rooms with the bathroom sink out in the room, separate from the toilet and shower? With more than one person sharing the room, there's no way one can get ready in the morning and not wake everyone else up.
The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. Staff appears to have duties other than front desk. Can't get a cup of coffee outside of breakfast hours. Somewhat lacking in hospitality. It was my third stay there. A more familiar greeting might have been in order.
Nothing special. Room ok. wi-fi spotty, food very bland and not much choice. Room was clean bed a little soft. T.V fine. Shower pressure a little light. Coffee pot in room was used 1 time, tasted like cleaner in it. Morning meal was gray sausage and thin gray with biscuit, biscuit was good though.
Toilet did not work in are room and we were handed a plunger to fix it, witch did not resolve the problem.. The coffee was water down and we were given an attitude when we asked for some hot water. I'm not one to complain or be picky, so it's obvious my stay at this location left a bad taste!
I booked one night for the conference trip in McMinnville TN and when I booked it over the phone I specifically asked the person if my credit card will be charged upfront. I had a clear " NO" in response and all she said that hotel will keep it on file only for reservation. I did not go to conference due to being unable to attend. I did not even fly into TN on that day. Guess what? ON the day I was suppose to check-out my CC was charged the full amount for my 'stay" in hotel that did not happened! I never checked in and checked out! How does this place run the business? Charging credit cards of those who did not stay but trusted their CC for booking purposes only? I am still in resolution of that incident- trying to get my money back for services that were never rendered. DO NOT ever book this place.
My husband and I hot a Queen bed with jacuzzi room. The room was fairly clean, but our fridge didn't work. Also,we spent an extra $40 to get a jacuzzi room, but the jacuzzi didn't even work. When we told the front desk about the fridge and jacuzzi, they said all they could do was give us $12 back. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.
this stay was disappointing I don't think we will stay there again could've paid less somewhere else and gotten same quality we got this time. we were expecting much better because of our experience there before but were very disappointed, the staff was friendly breakfast is good no oatmeal this time that was bad but the room wasn't as clean as it should've been and pretty sure there had been animals in our room because we laid down and had trouble breathing kept coughing and sneezing so we didn't get much sleep .
my husband and I checked in here for a week in late October 2015. We were surprised to see a motel, but we were not disappointed. The service was prompt and friendly, the free hot breakfast was delicious, and the room was spacious, clean, and in working order. The wi-fi was free and plentiful. We'd be happy to stay here again.
Room was clean but internet stopped working and tv went off at 9:00pm I called to ask about it And was told yes it's down and I don't know why. No offer to try to get it working again. When I called the front desk for directions I was told that the lady did not live in the area and can't help me. We had to find our way in the dark without any help.
The employees here were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. I require an accessible room and this one was fine, except for the height of the toilet. It was a standard height and for someone without much strength it was difficult to rise from. Other than that, we had no problems and have no complaints.
The best place to stay in the town...even thou the pool was down for two of the three days I stayed there...room was very clean an the continental was very good would recommend you to stay here while your in town....
I had paid for two rooms two weeks before my stay. I arrived hours before the occupants of the second room. While at a restaurant, I received a call from the person at the front desk who threatened me that my friends' room would be cancelled because she was informed "by corporate" that my credit card was refused. When I asked the phone number of corporate, she said she didn't have a clue. After NINE calls during my meal, I relented and gave a different credit card number...as it appeared the motel would be full that night. The next day I checked with my (initially used) credit card company which said that there had been NO rejections of charges on my account. I reported the above in a letter to Best Weatern's CEO...and received no response. I will NOT stay in a Best Western again.
Considering the small town location...this is the best place to stay. The rooms are completely redone...very nice furnishing, large space, great beds, and upgraded towels. It is very quiet even with the railroad right in the back yard. The lobby and breakfast are beautiful areas and the entire hotel is very clean. Best Western comes through again!
The room was clean, check in was efficient and the staff was friendly. My only complaint about the stay was housekeeping at 8:30 am rolling carts on tile floor outside the room and knocking on doors. Not very good while trying to sleep in for a getaway.
