This city hotel right next to the station has fun and funky decor. What it doesn't have is any storage in its rooms so if you are doing more than just passing through with a backpack or tiny suitcase it is impossible to unpack. Also no-where to put an open suitcase as rooms on the small side. What it does have is a very good breakfast. We made a mistake in choosing Lorient as the base for our South Brittany holiday. We were looking for charm and character and Lorient does not have any of these qualities. We had booked for four nights but moved on to Port Louis (a genuinely charming place) after two. If you just need a bed to sleep in and a great breakfast in a fun room then this is for you. It was not for us.

Fabulous hotel right next to the train station. Lovely quirky decor, but what really makes the difference is the amazing staff team - so friendly and helpful!

We stayed here for the festival and wow it was fantastic. Anne-Sophie was amazing and sorted our reservation. We had the family room which was spacious and well equipped. The position of the hotel was perfect lots of nice restaurants in the area. I would 100% recommend this hotel and the staff were all so friendly.

Excellent place to stay; everything was within walking distance. Hotel is next to the main railway station which was perfect. Having said that no noise from trains. The Hotel staff were great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect with different levels; basic, medium and full service; meant you only paid for what you wanted. The rooms were clean and well appointed, very comfortable. We were in Lorient for the Interceltic Festival. The Hotel was with walking distance to all the events, yet far enough away to avoid the crowds.

The Aided Hotel in Lorient is a very clean hotel. It offers a stable WiFi fast enough for Netflix and VPN connections for working. The staff is very friendly (and they all speak English!). The breakfast buffet is nice and (for a hotel) the shower is great!

We stayed three nights in this hotel. The hotel is decorated by mementoes from the Compagnie des Indes. The room was nice but did not have a lot od storage space. This may not be an issue for most people. The hotel is next to the train station and there is no view. More importantly there are the following issues: 1. Parking. Municipal parking is available but it is not too convenient to the hotel. It is possible to drive to the hotel to load and unload, but it would be a good idea to speak first to the hotel staff, as it is not straightforward and Google maps would not navigate me there. 2. The breakfast is quite good, but also quite expensive. You would be hard pressed to eat 17 euros worth of food. 3. We did not care for the food at the adjoining restaurant, but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

Nous n'avons effectivement pas de parking attitré à l'hôtel, mais nous avons la chance d'être dans une ville avec des places gratuites partout :) ainsi que 2 parkings souterrains à proximité, s'appelant l'Orientis et Gare Sud. Le prix du petit déjeuner est justifié par une variété de produits frais/bios/locaux. Si vous avez une petit faim, n'hésitez pas à nous le dire et nous facturerons les produits à l'unité la prochaine fois :) Nous aurons plaisir à vous revoir pour une très belle expérience future! One of the best hotels we have stayed in with great friendly professional staff nothing was too much trouble for them from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We could not find fault with anything, we were made to feel so welcome as the staff work together so well and make your stay really enjoyable.

did my first stay at a best western hotel called aiden. love the new looks of the room and facilities there. the room had color changing lights controlled with a tablet which was nice. bed was soft and comfortable. no fridge but i haven't seen that in europe yet so i guess its ok fast wifi in room as well room was very modern design which is nice in the brittany region. antique is ok but the lack of things in those hotels is telling like electrical outlets and so on

By far the most friendly and interior design savvy hotel in the area! We stayed 3 nights with our cat (pet friendly hotel!) and absolutely loved the service, decor, welcome cocktail on arrival and conviennent location. Not been surprised by a hotel in a while and Aiden definitely did for price value and confort.
