SureStay by Best Western Kemptville

So close to the diamonds we had our kids playing baseball at, very clean, so patient with the kids and overall a great experience. Recommend.

Although solo room had a surprise and other family members staying we discovered and we all enjoyed ourselves so much and thanks so very much to Sid, out front desk and all around employee who was professional friendly and most hard working and dedicated people I have met, many thanks for making a stay in a new place, are so welcoming! Rooms were very clean and newly decorated seems they are making updates all the time to the guest experience with a good Continental breakfast and plenty of parking near rooms. Shopping/dining within minutes! of this hotel made it so convenient.

The Good - Clean room, comfortable bed and good towels. The Bad - The heater in our room seemed to have a broken or misplaced thermostat. It was against an outside wall and regardless of setting the thermostat to anything below 68° (for comfortable sleeping) the heater would run to be at 68°. To do this it would run about three minutes, shut off for about one minute, then turn back on. That cycle, with an extra loud fan ran throughout the night and kept us awake. The heater had a freeze protection mechanism so even if the power was off, the heater would cycle through a heating mode every few minutes. A few other bad things- no outlets on one side of the bed, no rug by patio doors to wipe off boots causing floor to get wet from snow on boots and the TV operation guide was incomplete. There was no mention that the cable box needed to be turned on manually. We figured it out the next morning. We had two dogs with us. I checked the hotel policy prior to making the reservation and it stated there is a $30/day pet fee. When I checked in they wanted to charge me $30 per pet/day for a total of $60. I showed the clerk the policy on their website. He looked through his paperwork and then said he would only charge for one pet. Either the policy isn't written well or the hotel was trying to make some extra $$$. Overall, we would not stay here again. Most of the bad things could be tolerated, but the heater made the stay unbearable.

Stayed here before, found it very good so booked again. The staff are very pleasant and friendly. Booked in fine and went to room but could not get in. Went back to reception and they had not programmed the keys so sorted it. There was no creamer and spoon packs for the coffee but after the key issue did not go back again but left it till morning. In the morning asked about the coffee creamer etc and was informed that Best Western had decide to remove them. That's a backward step for sure as I like a coffee first thing as I get up. The second day the door keys would not work again so off to reception to be programmed, guess someone missed this both days. The room was the same one as last time, maybe they remembered, nice big and comfortable, bathroom fine too. Breakfast was good with bacon and egg muffins, breads, cereal, muffins, yogurt, fruit and juices. So, noting the first paragraph I still recommend this Best Western and would return no problem. A small but convenient hotel on our road trip. Everything exceeded expectations. Many upgrades like new flooring and granite counters. Spotlessly clean. Smart TV. Friendly staff. You even get breakfast included!

Four of us went on a road trip a d stayed overnight at the sure stay. The room was clean the staff were very nice and catered to whatever we needed e.g.more chairs outside Filling up our ice and giving us extra towels. Had a wonderful continental breakfast and the price was right. We recommend this property and will visit again .

We have stayed in many Best Western hotels in the UK and abroad and always found them good. Checked in no problem. Big room in annex but not too far from reception, car parked right outside room. Big comfy bed, nice furniture just a few in use marks which you would expect, big aircon heating unit, very efficient, a bit noisy during the night so switched it off. Whilst we were in breakfast the room was serviced, all towels and toiletries replaced. Keurig coffee and tea machine with four pots supplied, nice and replenished at same time as room serviced. Breakfast room seemed a bit small for the number of rooms in the hotel but did get a table after a few minutes. The continental breakfast initially looked limited, but it was certainly not. There was, bread, cereals, muffins, oatmeal cakes, yogurt, fresh fruit, fruit cocktail, fruit juice, tea and coffee, all very good quality. The excellent staff worked together to unsure it was replenished, tables cleaned and generally making sure all was good. Very impressed. So, to conclude as we normally find with Best Western a good value, clean, comfortable hotel and would return no problem. Thank you.

The SureStay was suitable for our needs as we had family events in Kemptville. It was good value for money, had the basics we needed, was overall quite clean and well-functioning. The breakfast is basic, some furnishing is a bit dated, but there was a charm to the community feeling. Sid was very helpful and attentive. Stores for last minute shopping needs are just a few minutes away.

Great little hotel, looks older from the outside but completely modernized inside. We booked King rooms; some of the King rooms are a little larger than others, so if that is important to you, ask for the bigger room if available. Beds are very comfortable, nice desk space, bathrooms completely updated. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Free breakfast is basic but good, cereal, bagels, fruit, yogurt, etc.; coffee machine in breakfast room can make great lattes! Bonus! Highly recommend if you're looking for a budget friendly stay just outside Ottawa.

We were impressed with the friendly staff, clean modern room and the continental breakfast (included) for a very reasonable price. The entire facility was well maintained and clean. This hotel is 30 minutes from the Ottawa International Airport, is next to highway 416, and a pet friendly hotel. After spending an hour looking for a hotel near the airport I decided to call this hotel directly and received the same price as was advertized on booking websites. Sometimes the old fashioned way is the best way. The person I had contacted took my reservation in seconds and I received an email confirmation within 1 minute. We will definetely return to this hotel.

My sister lives in South Mountain so we wanted a simple, nice, clean, safe, quiet, comfortable, friendly place to stay close to her, at a reasonable price. Sure Stay had it all. We appreciated the included breakfast . We will certainly be back on our next visit.

One of the most comfortable beds we've slept in! Great morning coffee! Wonderful welcoming staff, courteous & helpful! Building's is a little dated, but very clean! Close to town, shopping & driving distance to lovely quaint towns & to Ottawa.

The place was spotless. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh except no bacon. Bread, croissants, yogurt, boiled eggs, fancy coffees, cereal. Definitely worth the travel to get here if in the area. Bed was comfortable and water was hot for the shower. Internet worked well.

A nice little hotel, very clean nice simple breakfast with very good coffee. Rooms are well taken care of and have a fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee machine, comfortable bed. Staff was very nice always asking if everything was okay and if there was something that they could do or help with.

The staff are very professional and accomodating. Rooms are a good size and comfortable. I have stayed a few of times and each stay is better than the last. I would stay again.

I have been staying at this motel for the last 8 months weekly management is really friendly, the rooms are spotless, the beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend this motel to anyone who is traveling as it is a great place to stay

We were in town to visit family and simply needed a place to sleep that allowed a dog. I didn't want to break the bank for a single night sleep, and although it was still more than I would like to pay (plus an upcharge for the pet), it was still fine for a what we needed. The bed was fine, I would have liked better/additional pillows for the bed (no, I did NOT request extra pillows, so they might have been available if I had asked). We were at a family house for the day/evening, came in, slept, got up and left. Fortunately we did not require breakfast in the morning, because the continental breakfast was nothing to be desired with pre-packaged foods available. I wasn't impressed with how many people let their dogs deficate in the back field without picking it up, but that's not against the hotel itself. If I need a place to sleep again, I would still likely stay here again as the cost was the lowest I saw available

Excellent place, clean , amenities were all up to date the breakfast was excellent,,big bathroom, comfy beds,easy to find from highway, close to shopping and close to restaurants not far from anything you need.

Please remove outdoor smoking area between the two buildings. Very unpleasant smoking smell inside close by rooms. Free breakfast, ample parking, very clean hotel and room, easy checkout , dogs allowed for a fee.

This feels like a family run franchise and the people are lovely. The hotel (really, it's a single floor motel) is comfortable enough with reasonable amenities. Kemptville is a small place and this SureStay seems well matched. The rooms do feel recently updated and the bed, while a bit on the firm side, certainly was comfortable enough for me. The rooms have a fridge, microwave, and a Keurig. There are actual side tables on both sides of the bed, there's a workstation with a real workstation chair, and large screen LCD TV with digital channels and Amazon Firestick capabilities. So far very nice. On the meh side is the HVAC unit, it's an old analog style in the wall unit. It's a bit on the loud side and does not have digital controls. You have to guess where to set the dial. There are side tables next to the bedsides with individual lamps and individual LED spot reading lamps. There are multiple and easily accessible AC outlets but surprisingly no USB A outlets. In the bathroom the toilet paper was very, very basic i.e., thin and scratchy. A single, very small, bar of soap is provided. It's adequate but just barely for a couple of nights. There is no soap shelf in the tub/shower so soap and other toiletries have to be place on the tub edge. My room was not specifically configured for accessibility yet there's a grab bar in the shower. I found out why. The water feels softened and softened water and soap leaves you feeling very slippery and this sheen his hard to get off. The reason this is particularly important is that feeling slippery in a tub without an anti-slip mat or appliques in the shower meant I constantly felt at risk of a slip and fall in the tub. Holding the grab bar during my shower is a new experience for me but did help me manage my fear of falling. Water pressure, in the shower it's limited. If multiple people are showering, such as when after whole team gets back from a game, water pressure falls to unusable. I had to wait for other showers to finish as there was not sufficient pressure to hold the shower valve open. The family running this establishment are really lovely and do show that they care for their guests. I'd stay here again even with the couple of below-par aspects managed.

Stayed one night….it was a Saturday and it was busy but the staff was very accommodating and the newly renovated room was comfortable, quiet and very clean. Would recommend as a cost effective option if you're in the kempville area. I did not try the breakfast but it looked pretty basic.

I was pleasantly surprised by this gem. Excellent value. If you're looking for a nice, clean place to lay your head, watch some tv on a bigger than normal hotel screen with hi-def signal, order in or drive two minutes to several fast food places and sleep on a comfortable mattress, this is your hotel. The front desk man, Sid, is very nice. Tell him Pam said Hi!

The owners/staff are courteous and efficient. I was impressed with the cleanliness and upkeep of the room and grounds. I'd say this one is a hidden gem. It was a one night stop over for business and I appreciated the quiet and proximity to highway.

Nice clean hotel with plentiful parking (some covered) and clean, spacious comfortable rooms. Nice bathroom with lots of counter space, comfortable bed and lots of TV channels. Overall a very nice experience.

Rooms are clean, staff is very friendly along with a good selection for breakfast. Beds and pillows are hard and uncomfortable, but if you like a hard solid mattress it's perfect. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

This motel looks like someone bought a tapped out business and put 'lipstick on the pig' as the saying goes. The room had a musty odor, the TV system didn't work, the sliding exterior door didn't slide and the lock was broken. The bar holding the door closed was held in place by a single screw. The toilet was installed on an angle and the toilet rocked when you sat on it. On closer inspection the furnishings are all road weary and the quality of the renovations that were done is poor. We skipped the free breakfast.

Staff is very helpful, room was tidy, breakfast was worthy for the price paid, hotel approach from highway is very easy, just 1 minute from the exit, hotel surroundings is very clean and soothing, highly recommended for any event

There isn't a lot to choose from in Kemptville if you need to stay at a hotel - but this place is a rare gem that I am so glad that I found. Not too far off the highway on the quiet side of town, its located just in front of the woods and has loads of parking. Set up more like a motel - all of the rooms are on the main floor - I stayed in room 119, which was in a great location on the corner of one of the buildings and was nice and quiet. I had a very, very late check-in as I was with my mom at a long-term care facility and just couldn't get away until much later than normal, but the receptionist was incredibly understanding, compassionate and friendly. The room was well-appointed and very clean - a nice big bed and the bathroom had a bathtub I could soak in. Check-out was also very easy and I never had the chance to try the breakfast, which was included in the price. Overall - I was very happy with this hotel and would stay there again without hesitation.

I would recommend this hotel if you need to stay outside the Ottawa area. We were there for a wedding and this hotel was near the reception. We had a nice room. The room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave but we didn't use it. Continental breakfast was fine and was self serve. Breakfast and internet was complimentary. Plenty of parking. Staff were very pleasant.

I've stayed in a hotel around 125 nights just this year. The team clearly takes pride in this hotel because it was so clean and you could bounce a quarter off of the well made bed. I was nervous about staying a drive-up-to-your-door kinda hotel, but I felt very safe here.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was immaculately clean, and we were thankful for the accommodations. We had received a sad phone call about a dear relative and everything was put together in less than an hour. What a relief to find such a place to land during such difficult time.

The room was very clean and nicely renovated. The location is close to Kemptville and only 30 minutes from Ottawa. The parking lot is huge which was great as I had a trailer. The included breakfast had many choices and has an excellent coffee machine.

I just can't say enough about this place! We loved it! Let me tell you more… As soon as we got there, we were met with a big smile. The staff are just so friendly! We were on our motorcycle, so the staff made sure we had a room in the “second” building, under the canopy. We could access our room by the sliding glass doors, we could park right in front of the room, and if it rained, our bike would be dry! SO thoughtful!! Then… the room… Super clean! No carpet! Just clean hardwood floor! Love it! Towels were fluffy (maybe new?), and bed super comfy. Then breakfast. Nice little nook, but the best was the coffee maker! Made any kind of coffee you can think of (mocha, French vanilla, espresso regular etc) and really good! Never seen a machine like that before! Brilliant!! Then, the grounds. A huge grassy area lined with trees out back. Great for walking. Beautiful flowers all over the property. BBQs… even a laundry line if you so need! Just great attention to detail and comfort! This places was aces! Going to Kempville… you gotta stay here!

Our family stayed here for a day and we liked our time here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was kept clean and tidy. We would definitely stay here if we are visiting kemptville or Ottawa for the next time.

My wife and I attended a family gathering in the area and decided to stay at this hotel for one night and we were very happy with our decision. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the front lobby was tidy and shiny clean, our room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. We did not have breakfast, only a take out coffee, but noted the breakfast area was very clean and well supplied with food. We would not hesitate to stay here again the next time we are in the Kemptville area.

The hotel was clean! Due to the hotel not friendly accessibly, the employee's would go out of their way to help. The hotel was close to shopping and to various restaurants. Easy access to the highway.

The room was immaculate, inviting, and the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom had everything we needed and the TV had Netflix which was a hit with my kids. The staff were very helpful and friendly and my daughter was thrilled when she was offered a piece of candy at check-in. A little touch but it was a hit with us!

We stayed overnight at the Kemptville Sure Stay Hotel.to attend the Festival. The Hotel and rooms are very nice....comfortable beds. Very convenient with a Shuttle to the Festival..will do this again next year. Would highly recommend this Hotel.

I spent one night while working in the area. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was cozy, small, but was perfect for me on my own. The room was clean, and i did not have any issues. i did not check out any of the amenities or continental breakfast.

Don't judge a book by its cover. It may not look like it from the road, but this is a very nice place to lay your head for the night. Clean, friendly staff, and very quiet. Newly renovated rooms and comfortable

We were just there for an overnight on our way east. As previously noted in another review I read, the motel is nothing much from the outside but the rooms were clean and the bathroom looked like it had been recently renovated. Comfortable bedding, friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast. The only issue we had was the tv, couldn't figure out the Guide and so many channels were not subscribed to. Minor issue considering the short stay, and when I told the lady at Reception she said that I should have called her; good service.

Stayed here for a weekend tournament. The room was a decent size, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Clean and well maintained. The breakfast was decent with several options. Breakfast items replenished quickly. Hotel located in a quiet area but very close to stores and restaurants. Staff were very friendly!! Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Our family travels a lot for sporting events. This motel is an excellent place to stay. Curb appeal is less than ideal -that's why the 4/5 stars but the rooms are amazing! Beds are super comfy, extremely clean, bathrooms are really clean and roomy, breakfast is basic but good, coffee is excellent and the staff are very cheerful and polite. The location is very quiet and parking is free. It is very close to everything -2 minute drive to Walmart, coffee, food and 5 minute drive to the quaint and picturesque downtown. I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend to other families. The only issue (not for me, but some) is the incense burning in the lobby. It does not travel to the rooms at all and if it bothers you, there is another entrance away from the lobby, but it did not bother me at all.

This motel has been recently renovated. The entrance was very clean with sparkling floors. Eating area is basic and adequate for a continental breakfast before hitting the road. The coffee machine provides portion for fresh ground beans and various specialty coffees. Rooms have been recently remodeled and are very nice.Beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly and accommodating. This motel makes for a good place to stop over when travelling through Kemptville. Restaurants are a short drive away.

We stayed two nights. Lovely, clean, quiet and spacious room. Continental breakfast exceeded expectations. Friendly helpful staff who made sure our stay was comfortable. Check in/ out was fast and easy. Next time we would book directly with the hotel rather than a 3rd party service.

During our recent stay we were completely satisfied with the sliding door access to the green space out back off our room. The room was spotless and the service was warming. We would stay here in a heartbeat

This place was a dump many years ago .the new owners have done a lot of work to fix it up ,friendly ,clean,and comfortable. I would recommend it to anyone travelling to this area ,also a great value .Jan H

We stayed in this hotel from Wednesday to Saturday. It has been renovated and we are pleased to say it is a beautiful place to stay. Service is way above the expected standard. The couple that were our hosts pay very close attention to detail. All Covid protocol is in place and adhered to. They are extremely quick to reply to our requests.

We were very pleased with our stay here. Location was convenient not too far from Hwy 416. Clean, welcoming lobby. Friendly, caring service at front desk. Large sized room, crisp linens, lots of channels on big screen tv. Would stay here again and would highly recommend to friends and family.

Stayed here for just one night. The room was very clean and the lady at the desk was super friendly and helpful. Ottawa was booked up for the weekend and we decided to stay here. Unfortunately I'd made the reservation for a month later, but she was able to get me a room after driving for 5 hours in bad weather conditions. Thank you

Stayed here one night in room 133. Staff were beyond amazing and friendly. We got two bottles of water when checking in! We had issues hooking up the wifi and they came right to our room to help us! Room was very clean. Great stay overall

Love this hotel! I stay here often. The owners are super friendly and always checking to make sure everything is ok. The continental breakfast thats included is awesome. The rooms are newly renovated and always super clean. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone :)

I have recently stayed at this hotel in Kemptville Ontario 4 times in the past few months. The owners are so friendly and kind. I was so impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast options were very good and I definitely will stay again. Thank you to the very caring lady who checked me in.

We stayed a night in this recently refurbished hotel- very impressed with the refurbishment and the maintenance of the rooms. Breakfast was a basic continental with bread, muffins, yogurt and a couple different cereals. The beds were comfy and the heating/cooling units in each room were practically silent. The desk host was very attentive and pleasant.

This hotel is in disguise as a typical roadside motel, but the rooms are definitely right up to the standard I've come to expect from Best Western. The breakfast is continental style. I thought there was enough choice, given the current Covid times. There are a lot of amenities nearby along the main highway 43. I found a nice back route into Kemptville, along Van Buren Road which is just beside the hotel, a 6 minute drive.

Motel was very clean and beautifully decorated. Found the double bed a little small for two adults. A queen would have been more appropriate but didn't have any. Bed was very firm. Only problem was we couldn't figure out how to use all the streaming platforms but we were too tired to bother asking about it. Shower was awesome. There was even a fridge, microwave and Keurig. Overall, a very nice experience.

We rented adjoining rooms to celebrate our anniversary with our family and enjoyed our stay! The rooms are spacious and all on the ground floor which makes it very easy to access. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Great experience.

The team at this "out of the way" property worked very hard on a busy weekend. The Front Desk team were very friendly and welcoming. The Maintenance team and housekeeping team were personable as well. The property is clearly an older building (that definitely has many tales to tell); but the renovations to bring it up to "BW" specifications gave it an adequate "makeover".

the room was well appointed...housekeeping quite exceptional...staff very helpful...good value for the money...close to restaurants, gas stations, pharmacies, etc...don't be fooled by the dated building exterior...top notch on the inside!

I was quite surprised at my initial view of this property. It far exceeded expectations, and appears to have had extensive renovations and repairs completed. Service checking in/out was friendly and quick. The room was large, and very tastefully decorated. The block-out curtains work great, and the Keurig much appreciated. The bed was just a bit too hard for my liking. Everything spotlessly clean, and the grab & go breakfast exceeds many I have recently had. The effort is appreciated.

When I walked into the hotel my jaw dropped looking at the office, it was the most beautiful office I've ever seen. When I got in the room I was surprised when I saw a microwave, mini fridge, and a coffee machine. The beds were comfortable, the blanket was soft and the whole room was super clean.In the morning I went down and got breakfast the lady at the front desk said she packed the breakfast all up but she would give me some. That just shows how generous the staff is. After I went and packed my thing so I could check out then I ran into the motel room cleaners and I just had to tell them that they do a beautiful job cleaning the rooms and I gave them a tip. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel to everyone who needs to stay anywhere around the area.

I was put up in this hotel by my company, and was pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean it was. This was without a doubt the nicest small hotel I have ever stayed at! Everything was very clean, location next to highway and restaurants is perfect, water pressure was good and the staff was polite and friendly. Also the best hotel wifi I have ever experienced. During my 5 day stay, I did not have a single issue with the wifi, something I cannot say for even the most expensive hotels I have stayed at. If you need to stay in the area, for work or pleasure, I highly recommend this SureStay!

This hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly, polite and very responsive. Breakfast was included, but because of covid the breakfast bar was closed. They had a grab and go bag for breakfast. It was great for me and my wife, but if you are a bacon and eggs person it won't satisfy you. Take and save it for lunch or snacks as you are driving.

When i checked in I was meet with a welcoming staff. I was traveling for work the people i worked with also stayed at this hotel we mentioned many times how nice the hotel was and that we would stay here again. I have not a single complaint about this property.

Rooms are renovated and clean. All staff were friendly and willing to help. I would stay again! Beds were excellent, water pressure great! Very good location just off the highway, close to restaurants and stores

From check in this motel was great. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. On the Friday a young couple had a food cart serving spaghetti and meatballs which was very tasty. With the brown bag breakfast and the coffee machine, it was a great place to stay during the apocalypse. I will stay again.

Beautiful comfortable and clean room. Very friendly staff! I am so happy with my stay. The breakfast was great and very COVID safe. Room was always very clean and I had access to everything I could possibly need:)

Renovated spacey and well equipped rooms , excellent front desk and room service , breakfast due to COVID was prepared and waiting for us in the lobby , if ever back in the area will definitely stop for a stay over !

What a delightful surprise. It's quiet and the Hosts are friendly and most welcoming. TV is the best. Hundred of Channels. Even though Covid restrictions, the Grab and Go brown bag Breakfast was better than all the ones I have seen in my many travels. Was expecting to have to get in the car for a Starbucks run, but complimentary VanHoutte machine in lobby made that unnecessary! And they even carry hard to find Sweet N Low ! Yay! Love the Old School motel style where you can park in front of your suite. And slide patio door ( extra secure locks for night) open for a outdoor break or perhaps to indulge in a take out cannabis order from the newly opened Spiritleaf 2 mins down the road. I would recommend staying here if you are in Kemptville. Don't waste energy driving to Nepean / Ottawa. You'll be glad you did.

The rooms are very clean, good water pressure in the shower, staff was very polite. They have big flat-screen televisions in the rooms so you can hook up your Xbox and play some Minecraft or maybe some Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare. It's a glitchy game, and it takes forever to kill a zombie unless you get a headshot, but it's great to play as John Marston again after beating the original game. I give that game a 7/10. And I also give SureStay a 10/10. Bring some pocket change too because their vending machines are lit.

One of the best hotels i've stayed in... Wonderful room, no carpets and no hard perfume smells! Staff was very friendly! room was just big enough and bed was very comfortable. Price was really reasonable.

Was a nice hotel. Room was clean and average. Price was a expensive for this type of hotel. Breakfast was absolutely terrible. Very disappointed in that. Wifi worked good. Overall an okay hotel experience.

I recently stayed at the SureStay Hotel by Best Western, in Kemptville. I was pleased from the moment I pulled in. The Parking lot was plowed and clear. I was greeted and quickly checked in. I was happy to see covid protocols were in place, I felt safe. My room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. All the amenities were fresh and of good quality. When I called down to the front desk late at night because I needed an extra towel the desk attendant that answered was more than happy to get me another towel and even asked if I needed anything else. The staff is friendly and pleasant. in the morning I went to the "breakfast room" where again proper covid protocols were in place. There were lots of options in order to complete a full, satisfying breakfast. I needed to have a late check out so while I peacefully ate my breakfast and caught up on the local news ( there are multiple TVs for comfortable viewing) the cleaning team safely cleaned up my room remaking my bed fully restocking the bathroom and by the time I returned to my room it was like walking into it for the first time. I completely enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a respectable hotel.

Excellent amenities with very comfortable beds and very clean rooms. Excellent continental breakfast choice selections in a comfortable dining area. Easy access location with excellent parking area. Pleasant, courteous and very friendly staff. Highly Recommended.

Clean rooms ... King size beds ... wide HDTV screen ... well situated ... and owned by very friendly people ... a very nice experience ! The price is very reasonable and the place is near all the major businesses.

Only stayed one night but totally enjoyed the stay! Awesome staff very helpful during this COVID 19 outbreak they truly take care of their establishment and all staff & customers! If you need anything simply call them at the front desk & they will be glad to help you! Thank you Claudette

This is one of the better budget motels I have stayed in. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. I stayed two nights. The only negative is that there is a lot of noise coming from other rooms. The walls here are a bit thin. A few early morning risers that will be up at 5am and you will be awake.Earplugs are definitely recommended for an improved sleep. Close to Kemptville and lots of amenities. I would come back.

A jewel just off highway 416 (exit 34), this quaint motel offers excellent service and friendly staff. 5 minutes to Kemptville means restaurants, stores, and live music. The staff loved my little dog and treated us fabulously. Definitely recommend stopping here if you need a break.

I have business in the area so sometimes stay here, my last trip was with the previous management who was very attentive and even would check me in past 12am when I arrived. The place is outdated but it's Kemptville - do you expect the Hilton? Maybe try Ottawa.. There is nothing in the town open late, so if you arrive late it's tough to find a place to eat. Motel is centrally located though for the town.

Stayed here for a dew days on business trip towards northern Ontario. Excellent service by staff , really clean rooms , friendly staff , good breakfast selections too . Parking was free , WiFi connectivity was good too . The front desk guy was really knowledgeable when it came to local directions too . Really liked our stay . Woukd recomme d it to others . .

Excellent service by staff. Very clean rooms and exceeded expectations as seemed old at first however place in a work in progress as they are doing renovations but I have stayed at $200 a night hotels and did not get the service or attention staff gave. Recommend highly as for the money best value in the Capital Region

We had one night booked at the Tourist Inn and due to a sudden family medical emergency, we were unable to complete our trip. Yes, it was a non-refundable reservation but we were hoping that due to the circumstances, a partial refund or even a rain cheque would be available. Not a chance. We were told in no uncertain terms that there were no refunds under any circumstance. I literally said "so you are just going to keep our money" and the woman on the phone said "yes, we are". The hotel was not anywhere near booked. I felt truly ripped off.

Scary, Scary place to stay. You may leave with more living beings on you than you brought into the hotel. Not to mention the terribly dated rooms, the hotel staff did construction into all hours of the night and then denied it in the morning! Absolutely terrible customer service. When we went to ask for clean sheets they took the bell away so we couldn't ring it. Never again.

My sisters and I booked a room for the night at this motel because we were going to the kemptville music festival. We got in our room and turned on the tv and the tv didnt work. We called down to the reception desk and the young girl came up right away and tried everything to get the tv to work but coudnt. She went back down to the front desk to figure out what to do but we decided to forget about the tv as we werent going to be in our room all that much anyway and we could listen to some music on our phone so we told her not to worry about it. After being in the room a bit longer we noticed that it didnt look like our room had been vacuumed and there was a bunch of hair on the bathroom floor under the sink. Also some unknown white stains on the chair in our room. Around the outside of the motel looks like the plants hadnt been watered and were in great need of maintenance. A good thing we liked was that there was a shuttle bus that picked us up at the motel to bring to the music festival and also brought us back afterward. Also this motel is now called the Tourist Inn as its no longer named the Knights Inn as we are told its changed management. I would not recommend staying here so will not be returning. This motel has potential to be really nice but its in great need of regular houskeeping and needs some overall building maintenance and repairs

We made a reservation for the Kemptville Music Festivale for 3 nights. When we arrived we asked to see the room first as the outside looked horrible. The room was not great but worst of all the mattresses were ancient and uncomfortable and the pillows were disgusting...very stained and gross. We said we would not be staying and the manager was rude. He ended up charging my credit card for one night which was not right considering the horrible shape the place was in.

Our room wasn't very clean , had a bad smell, pillows were lumpy, air conditioner barely worked, one packet of coffee, no pot or cups. We didn't stick around to try the free breakfast. It was awful!!!! They really need invest in some renovations.
