Location was great during our long road trip. Before turnpike, easy on and off. Fantastic breakfast and friendly staff. Quiet room, slept great. Safe area for staying. Definitely would stay again while traveling through.

Quiet - good location right off 35. Comfy bed. Laminate, not carpeted floor is nice. Pet friendly - $10/ night plus a $50 damage deposit that gets refunded when you check out. Just make sure you stop at the desk to check out and ask for your refund. Would stay here again.

I do not recommend staying here because local management is unresponsive and unprofessional. I had an issue with billing/paying for my room. I booked online using a best western gift card for most of the cost. Management charged the full amount to my credit card and failed to return my calls or emails to correct the error. I finally to contact best western corporate help desk and once corporate stepped in the issue was correct one month later. When you have an issue at this place, once management ignores you, don't waste time and energy- contact corporate representatives so they can enforce the policies management agreed to as a franchise/flagged property.

This place has the most friendly personnel. Funny and great conversations. They have a pancake maker that is awesome. So much better than those messy waffle makers. Also the rooms are so clean. Hardwood floors, awesome showers. I will stay here again and at any other Surestay Plus Hotel by Best Western.

Lobby area had incense burning and triggered an asthma attack. Room had funny smell. No elevator. No cups in the room. The floor is laminate and sticky. Lumpy pillows. I would not recommend this place to ex husband or enemy.

This was a great place to stay. Staff was very friendly. It was in a Good, Safe neighborhood. The building and rooms were clean. I traveled for business and had not stayed here before but will definitely stay there again.

Stained sheets, hair left all over the bathroom, black mold. Pool locked up and green. Find literally any other hotel you can in the area. This might be a cheap hotel but you certainly pay for it. Just don't.

Nice hotel! Clean and well maintained. Rooms were nice and clean! The staff was great! Friendly and personable. Our gym was there for a gymnastics camp, so we had several rooms. Nice hotel if you need multiple clean rooms with good rates.

I'm giving this hotel only 2 stars instead of 4 because... We were shown 2 rooms on the floor level, close to the lobby. The 1st room smelled like mold instantly, so we asked to see another room. We had pre-paid ahead on line & we needed to rest , so we really wanted to give them another chance. When showed the 2nd room ...it smelled fine & looked clean, so we stayed. Our sheets, beds, pillows & room, were comfortable & clean. However...while we were taking showers the next morning, mold literally appeared all over the tile walls, in the grout around the top & base of the tub & behind the stool! I should've taken a photo but was so freaked out, I just wanted to leave! When asked how our stay was...I told the friendly desk attendant of our disappointment, he said it would be taken care of. We have since been told, they have added on a newer addition (unknown to us) in recent years & we should've stayed in that part. So, If you have to stay here & you have the option...stay in the NEW addition as it may be fine. Everything else was clean, great service, good breakfast, quiet & safe.

This particular hotel was dirty, the food was disgusting, and it smelled bad. The TVs didn't work right, there was mold in the shower, and my linens on the bed were really dirty. I wouldn't go to this hotel again, especially for the price we paid. We've had better experiences with other hotels.

Our stay was uneventful and good enough. I would recommend if you are looking for cheapest option, but otherwise i would spend the extra $50 and find someplace that smelled less of smoke, less humid, has central HVAC (the rooms have their own units, but the main areas were all as hot as outside) and more comfortable.

The hotel was okay. The walls need to be repainted in the lobby. There are several wear and tear nicks and dings in the drywall. The room was mostly clean with the exception of the microwave which was gross. Staff did not clean it until our second day after several requests. Our room was not cleaned for our entire stay (2 nights / 3 days). Our request for a late (1 hour) check out was denied.

We've at this hotel several times in the past few years. It has gone through name & management changes, along with upgrades. However, it's has the same carpet in the hallway for years. Rooms are showing a lot of wear again. Hallway smells fresh but room has a bad, musty smell. Continental breakfast is ok but coffee is bad (thankfully, there is an in room Keurig). Not bad for a couple nights - bear minimum amenities (but, you aren't paying extra for that either). Desk staff were all very friendly & helpful.

There were so many faults :( the only good thing was that i didn't see any bugs…. . It looked like the corners around the tub hadn't been cleaned, the faucet in the shower was disconnected, the water pressure basically stopped the hotter you tried to get it, the ac vent was broken and detached, the room ac wasn't very cool, the lobby and hallways were hot, the breakfast was SLIM to say the least, the bed felt like a 12'in card board box and the pillows were lumpy. Cheap stay. The hotel is acceptable for not having any other options.

Our stay was ok, but the whole place smells like stale cigarettes. Room seemed clean. Was told pool was out of order, but didn't see anything wrong with it. Would try a different place if I was in the area again.

No frills, but excellent and friendly service. Room was comfortable and spacious. No bad art on the walls. Clean linoleum floor in the room. Pool wasn't working. Coffee was pretty good. Go out for breakfast, though.

My hotel room had feces on the bathroom floor and toilet upon entering. Lighting did not work properly in the room that was handicap. Explained this to Management. Management only took care of the pieces and not the lighting in the handicap room. Poor quality of breakfast choices as well. Only carbs available to eat.

Elevator & vending machine broken, room very dark but at least it was clean. Breakfast offerings had us heading to McDonald's. I'm sure there are better options in the area. Paid $100, but only worth half of that given the issues.

Mattress was setting on metal springs like the old-time camp cots. Every time you turn over, while sleeping it squeaks and wakes you up. There was no carpet on the floors. The heater would not run at the programed temperature.

On a quick trip to pick up a puppy, we stayed at Surestay in Kearney, MO. The room was well equipped with a mini frig, microwave, coffee maker and plenty of towels. The bed was quite acceptable and the breakfast had a decent selection of foods. Considering that our total bill was $64, this hotel is an absolute bargain compared to nearby choices. The lady at the front desk was quite helpful and very cheerful. I don't know what else you could ask for and highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here in the past but you can tell the facility is getting older and housekeeping isn't what it used to be. The floors in the room had some hair on them as well as an old ink pen under the heater/ac unit. There was also something that had sprayed on the wall by the headboard that had dried and not been cleaned or removed

SureStay was very clean and had an updated appearance. Bed was very comfortable. Firm with a bit of cushion- not overly soft which we were happy about. The only surprise was the bathroom had no fan to run while showering. Friendly staff was accommodating to the needs we had. Breakfast had nice variety & healthy options available. Kitchen staff replenished some hard biscuits for fresh immediately when I inquired. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

Awful. Would not stay here again. The sheets were dirty - long hair on pillow, makeup on sheets and just an overall dirty feeling. Door to bathroom had two holes that had been punched through the door. The floor in the bathroom wasn't clean. Icing on the cake…. We could hear the person snoring next door as loud as if they were sleeping in our room.

We have stayed here several times and always find it to be a clean, dependably well managed place to stay. During our last stay in Kearney, my husband booked us into the Comfort Inn down the street, thinking it was the Surestay, which is just a few doors down. While the Comfort Inn was okay and clean (there happened to be lots of dogs there the night we stayed), we checked out after one night and moved up the street to the SureStay - we like the motel, parking and grounds at the SureStay better than the other local motels.

Over all the room was clean and nice except the bed looked like it had been slept on. There were two indentations where two people had laid and the pillows were messed up. I immediately took a picture because it was so obvious but I don't know what to do with it.

The room was adequate in size and had all the amenities expected. We appreciated having the room with accessibility options. The staff were helpful. The air conditioner was loud. The breakfast buffet had all the food items for a continental breakfast.

We just stayed 7 nights here while visiting relatives. Not the quality of BW that I am accustomed to. Two days in a row we had no maid service. The excuse was they were short staffed and had to get the other rooms ready for the newly arriving guests (I was a paying guest too). Other days the maid forget wash cloths and/or keurig pods for the in room coffee maker or coffee cups. The breakfast was not what I experienced in my over 30+ nights at a BW. No scrambled eggs, sausage or bacon, no hot cereal, no cut up fresh fruit. A plus was the comfortable bed. Do not recommend unless it is just one night.

First time at this hotel. We take the trip from Texas to Minnesota twice a year and thought I'd try a different spot. The hallway and room is clean and smelled fresh. The room itself has tile floor which I think works for a dog friendly hotel. The front desk attendant was polite and helpful. He recommended a nice place for dinner which we would return to. Breakfast was a disappointment. No egg or meat products. Biscuits and tiny cold pancakes. The breakfast isn't a big deal to us, It is a 2 story facility with no elevator but I called in advance to reserve a ground floor room which was accommodated. Overall the value was great and we would stay there again.

At first when we arrived the front doors weren't working so they were just open. The guy that checked us in was a little hard to understand and was wearing pajama pants so the first impression was not that great. We parked and used the backdoor which was not latching and basically did not need a key card to get in; again not a great 1st impression. Our room was very cozy and felt secure. For breakfast there were several options from biscuits & gravy to pancakes to muffins to cereal & yogurt. The other staff we interacted with were very friendly. The pool is small and outside.

Was in town to celebrate my Great Nephews graduation. Have stayed at this property several times. It's a nice place to stay and I will stay here again in the future. Rooms are comfortable. Hosts are friendly and helpful

We stopped here to sleep on a long trip. It was perfect for what we needed, a good location right off the highway. The free breakfast was good, biscuits and gravy and a make your own pancake machine. The problem we encountered was no hot water at 9am hotel wide. It is good for a lower quality hotel as long as the water was a one time thing.

Found a bracelet in our room. Dirty and dusty coffee pot. Dirty bathroom. Beds were hard. No breakfast items except pancakes. Bacon, biscuits, muffins and bread empty. No juice, empty milk container in the fridge at breakfast with lid off. Disappointed

Very pleased, much better than rating would suggest. The room was clean and spacious even had hot tub. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Deserves better rating than online no complaints!! Great value!

Average for a lower budget hotel. The room must not have been used for a while as there was a ring on the toilet like the water had been sitting long. Shotty workmanship in the bathroom. The tub faucet was loose and the caulking was super amateur. Bathroom very dark. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Make sure to put the safety latch on when in the room. Housekeeping opened the door without knocking and thank goodness we had the safety latch on.

Average hotel. Breakfast had no variety... same every single morning: cold stuff or biscuits and gravy. Had pancake maker, but woman up front kept wanting to change it to make 50 cent size pancakes (which are ok fur kids) instead of regular sized ones (for adults) cuz they used too much batter. Really?? Lady had a covert attitude at times but by end of stay was better by check out. Had neighbors with dogs that acted like they wanted to attack... and kept barking. Front desk didn't want to address it unless it got really bad. Thankfully, they calmed down, so I didn't have to see if the hotel would actually deal with it or not. Somewhat clean. Cards for room only lasted a day... had to keep going back to front desk to have them redone so we could get into the room. Kind of a pain for prolonged stays. Not sure I'd stay there again.

Booked 3 rooms for an evening, requested handicap accessible or room with connecting door as we were traveling with elderly parent. Neither request could be met, even though it appeared the property was not too full. Once we entered our rooms, we realized that my elderly parent could not access the bed/mattress as it was too high for her diminutive stature. We returned to the desk to ask for some accommodation, nothing could be provided in the way to assist her in accessing the bed. Therefore, someone needed to share her room and assist her in and out of the bed the entire evening, which did not provide too many of us with a restful night. The property was clean which was a plus, breakfast offering was okay, price was adequate.

Comfortable beds. Nice clean room and place. Very nice area, just outside of Kansas City. We didn't get to use the pool, because it was closed. Food places near by, which are nice and convenient. Staff at hotel are very friendly and helpful.

Were awakened by extreme noise coming from room above at 12:30. Called the desk twice and were told that the man above had rented 4 rooms and if we didn't like it we could leave. When I got upset, he told me I could kiss his a##. The noise lasted until 4:30 a.m. Reported this to the manager.

Works if you want cheap outside of main KC. Front desk was very kind and friendly. The lobby was small, but welcoming. The rooms floor looked great, but many other things need updated in the room. The rooms were wet and caused issues to those with allergies.

The facility is clean and updated. The front desk was excellent help and the room was great. I have stayed two other times at this facility and have always had a great experience. Dog Friendly is a great help when traveling.

Drove four hours to a Royals game with my teenage nephew. I searched forever for a cheap but nice hotel in a safe area (KC has 64 murders in the first five months of 2021). Ended up going a bit far at 28 minutes north of Kauffman Stadium but pleased with the place! First impression was not tremendous: could smell incense and the guy at the front desk was not in any kind of uniform and had tattoos. Wait...I hate uniforms and have tats. He was informative and polite so no complaints there! Place was busy, which is always a good sign. Lobby and hallways were clean. Upon entering the room my nephew remarked...wow, this is nice. Bathroom was small but clean. Hot water arrived quickly. Toilet flushed well. Room offered plenty of light, wi-fi, and a nice selection of channels. Beds appeared clean and were comfy. In waning Covid pandemic, breakfast was mostly self-contained to some Jimmy Dean biscuits, coffee, yogurt, pre-made waffles and muffins. No complaints there as it was free! As I mentioned, place is quite a drive from Kauffman Stadium but 8-10 minutes from Liberty. Kearney seemed to be all business with a McDonalds just around the block and a Price Chopper just down the block just to name a few. I'd have no trouble recommending this place or staying again, it's just probably out of the way of any future travels!

Staff all very nice. When I called in they were very kind. When we checked in any staff we saw or spoke too had a kind tone and attitude. The hotel had snack machine, pop machine, water cooler and ice as well. Cute porch swing style in front lobby made the place look nice.

Our room had not been thoroughly cleaned. There was a pile of wet soggy towels with brown on them in the bathroom. And the washcloths were super raggedy. The floor lamp was clearly visibly broken. However the AC was cold and quiet with temp control and had hard floors which I like because they're more sanitary. The bed was nicely made and sheets were clean. Front desk staff weren't the best. The check in person complained about earlier guests and belched without covering his mouth. Later I went for toothpaste and the person had me go to supply closet myself. I would never do either to a customer. Breakfast was incredibly meager and no options for a dairy free person not even peanut butter and a banana or OJ

Great quiet find in the county away from a down town metropolitan area. Great local Italian restaurant in down town to dine out at. Local historical birthplace of Jesse James was a great find to tour.

We had the opportunity to stay at your wonderful place on December 14th, 2020. We were driving from Wisconsin and didn't know what to expect. Your place was beautiful. I really enjoyed how your foyer was decorated. The room was very clean and updated. It felt very peaceful and we had a great nights sleep. Friendly staff, clean facility, easy check in. VERY comfy bed! Plenty of mirrors. Not sure why it's worth mentioning, but if it made an impression on me, I can't possibly be the only one! Definitely a great value!

First let me say I'd give the desk person 5 stars. He went above and beyond to help. The owner is phenomenal with how I was helped when I chose to switch hotels. The hotel is older, off the main road, the pool is fenced and across from the building's parking lot. The rooms were clean enough, but older, outdated and dirty or torn furniture with worn curtains and furnishings. Average for the price I suppose. Maybe a little high even on price for the appeal. Didn't like flooring. Bathroom small and cramped. But the turn off was the entire building smelled like cigarettes and incense with a strong chemical or perfume smell. My asthma couldn't deal. The desk gentleman tried 3 rooms and it just didn't suit me. I went to the new hotel across town instead, but the owner happens to own both and helped me cover my third party priceline booking and took the money from the first hotel off the second one. I would give many stars for that kind of kindness so I have. Thank you for it.

Pro's The front desk people were fantastic! The location is good and the swing in the lobby was great. The fridge and microwave were convenient No freeway noise Cons- Smelled like an old hotel that was a smoking hotel changed to a non smoking hotel. My bathroom still had hair from the previous stay and the used shampoo was still in the shower. The breakfast bag they give you was not very appetizing The new weird laminate flooring was gross The A/C is really loud I suppose I am not used to staying super budget hotels but I do expect cleanliness.

The staff was very well prepared and able to insure our safety and theirs at this time. Super comfortable room, pet friendly and great value. Newly remodeled. I would have liked to try the breakfast but a suitable alternative was provided.

everything about the hotel was top notch. almost the most friendliest staff i have ever had at a hotel. very comfortable beds love the hard wood floors and no carpet keeping in germs and junk. every hotel should have hard wood floors

Our family of five, plus pup stopped in for an overnighter on our way to Chicago for Christmas. We booked a room with three queen beds at a rate that would get us a double bed and a pull out at other hotels. Honestly, I was a little nervous with how low the rate was. But the room was very comfortable, and the three beds made for easy sleeping arrangements for my wife and our three young kids. Pros: Clean. The bathroom was clean. The room smelled clean. The sheets were clean. And clean makes all the difference in our book. The heat was comfortable, the tv worked, and the shower water was hot. Cons: The pool is outdoors, which we did not realize and our kids were bummed about. The shower controls and head were very unstable, and there were a few shortcuts taken on repairs (light fixture mounting, etc.) that cheapened the look and feel of the room. We slept in and missed out on breakfast, so I cannot comment there, but we are planning to make use of this hotel the next time we pass through again!

My husband I we're headed to Arizona and stayed one night. It was clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly, close to restaurants. The place is older and has a stale smell but we were able to book the room under $100, and we were happy.

Great value. Very nicely renovated hotel. Just as nice as newly opened hotels in the area, but in a better and more quiet location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast selection. The best choice when staying in the area.

Our stay was much improved over our previous stay. Rooms are very nice, but the beds are too soft. Beds need to be firmer. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast was good. Milk was not labeled as to what kind it was. Need 2 types of milk. Will return again when need to stay in Kearney.

My stay here was wonderful. The room was clean and furnished with all the amenities i needed. I nice bath, microwave, and mini refrigerator. There was also a huge big screen tv and wifi. The staff was very kind and the breakfast was more than one could ask for. The coffee was always on and the draff was also helpful.

We stay at a lot of hotels on the freeway and this one is clean and extremely comfortable. We actually want to order the mattress they have at this hotel. The room was clean. There are plenty of outlets. The breakfast was wonderful and clean!

this hotel is right off the freeway. close to people I visit. the breakfast is very good. the staff is nice when I stay here. the only draw back is no elevater. so if you are on the second floor you have to use the stairs.

Spent the night here during the week, liked the $55 price. Hotel is new and rooms are great (I like laminate floors). Room was excellent, bed slept nice, TV was large with DirecTV. Service was very good, breakfast was better than average. I'll stay here again.

Chose this hotel because it is a part of the Best Western brand and was closer to my destination than my normal hotel I stay at. Was not impressed with the Sure Stay. Don't like laminate floors in hotel rooms. Don't like having to wipe my feet off before getting into bed because either the floors have dust/dirt on them, or they are sticky. I most likely will not stay here again or any other Sure Stay for that matter. I'll drive the extra distance for a better hotel.

Clean and easy to get to from the interstate. The rooms were nice enough. It is an older building which has had some updates thru the years. Some of the updates done better than the other ones, but when traveling and all you want to have is a clean and safe to lay your head for 7 hours it is a good deal. We were traveling with bikes and didn't want to leave them in the back of our truck and the very nice young lady working the desk told us that we could take them to our room and would even help us if needed. The continental breakfast wasn't too bad, since not having to pay for it (yes, I know it's part of the room charge.) It was filling enough with both hot and cold breakfast items.

No elevator. Only 2 stories. Nice breakfast. Good price considering it's double in Kansas City. You decide. Front desk very nice. Only 1/2 from Kansas City. :). Comfortable bed and clean rooms. Plenty of parking. Swimming pool is a walk across the parking lot. We didn't have trouble finding this hotel at all.

Just an average hotel; No signage on main road that we could easily see, so finding it was difficult; Musty smell in rooms; 2 star rating in my opinion; a one night stay would be the length I would ever stay again at a Surestay

Overall hotel was clean and well kept. Bed was comfortable. The room AC worked well and did not seem to have a lower limit setting as some comparative brands do. However, it didn't rattle continuously and struggled keeping the air dry. Our second night the room felt damp. Some of the paint in the bathroom was chipped and fixtures showed some surface rust. TV was good, channel choices better than average, and little bottles of soap/shampoo were available. It is a good choice if you want to stay in Kearney instead of driving a little further to KC.

Good price comparatively. No elevator....no problem unless you are out of shape, or elderly. Breakfast is ok. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It is an older hotel....so if you want more go pay more. The staff was accommodating.

I had a very nice room, which was spacious and clean. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was adequate. The hotel has an attractive interior and appears well maintained. Definitely a place where I would stay again. If possible, I would have scored the hotel 4.5 out of 5 points.

Nice hotel, easy to find and access from freeway. Room were clean and comfortable. Hotel was full, according to staff and was very quiet.There is no elevator in this 2 story hotel, so if you have a person who has difficulty managing stairs, call ahead and request a 1st floor. Do not wait until check in, as they will have already assigned you to a room and may not be able to switch you to a ground floor room.

We were very happy with the friendliness of the staff. However, the hotel room was lacking: the mirror above the sink was not well attached, the coat rack came off the wall after hanging things on it, the faucet of the Jacuzzi was close to falling off, the toilet paper roll came out of the wall when you went to pull off toilet paper, bed lumpy, etc. Wouldn't stay again if this wasn't fixed.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable. Minor issues with the bathroom (whoever installed the new tub fixtures didn't secure the faucet well and the sink didn't quite match up with the counter)

I had a very nice experience staying at this Hotel. The location was perfect. Everything is very clean and the staff is nice. Bed is comfortable! Breakfast is very good also. I would highly recommend this Hotel!

If I could give it a 1/2 I would and that was just because the breakfast wasn't too bad. In need of a good cleaning, and updating. The staff was fine but the room was absolutely gross, smelled real bad.

Everything was very nice at Surestay Plus, except the desk chair was in terrible shape. The staff informed us that they were about to update the rooms. We probably will stay here again when we go to Branson in October. Also is pet friendly.

I was quite pleased with my random pick as I was traveling through. Room was clean, breakfast great. The bed was very comfortable! Very friendly staff! So glad I stopped here. Also, close to US 36! If I ever go through the area again, I'd choose Surestay!

Pros: easy to find, guy at front desk was really nice, some updates, keurig in room, pattered chair was very comfortable! Cons: dark hair in bed and on towels. got 2 lotions and 1 conditioner, no shampoo. new tile and flooring in bathroom but old tub and very low water pressure. the tub was so slippery when showering that we both almost fell taking our showers! very dangerous! sink outside the bathroom which I dislike. didn't understand the one blue washcloth. extremely thin walls, could hear the guy next door talking for hours, annoying! breakfast was sparse and the coffee creamer was spoiled and floated in the coffee. the desk chair was literally all ripped up, how that even happens I don't know. large chandelier in the lobby was flickering and had one yellow light lol Overall wouldn't stay here again. Hopefully the owners finish the updating and train the cleaning staff better.

Don't believe all the reviews or the outside appearance. This is not the average Best Western we have come to trust. The room was musty, outdated, damaged walls and door, the heater was noisy. The back door was unlocked all night which is where our room was, felt very insecure. The good note I can give is the beds were clean and comfortable. Hotel reviews in this area are sketchy if you can continue your route somewhere in Kansas or Iowa.

The room was clean and the bathroom was ok. It was nice to have a sink separate from the bathroom. I had safety concerns because of a broken latch to the extra security bar. My major concern is an unlocked entrance door at the end of the hall. This stays unlocked all night.

Wonderful experience, great value. Personnel was very friendly and helpful. Location was close to the interstate which made it easy to find. Breakfast is basic but very good. Coffee was good which is very important in the morning.

checked in at 6:30, NO TV, failed to mention that the TVs had NOT BEEN WORKING since 4 o'clock, had we known, we would have gone to one of the other 22 hotels in the area. Very poor customer service !!! Called Best Western Customer SVC number, they do NOT seem to be concerned either. Owner Harry Patel, you are a poor businessman!

Made a trip back home from Tx to visit family/friends. What a great motel. Outside of motel wasn't very impressive. But when we got in our room pleasant surprise. So clean and spacious! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Only complaint would be breakfast. Same thing every day for 5 days straight! Would be nice to offer a little variety. Coffee not great either. But I would still return.

We were passing through with a cat and this is a nice pet friendly hotel. $10 charge for the pet. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was average for being included. Bed was a little worn and soft. No highway noice & limited food options. Front staff was nice. If you need a clean place to sleep & shower give it a try.

We stayed one night at this hotel and we loved it! It was very clean and nicely decorated. Great hot breakfast! Tile bathing area! Extremely comfortable beds! The best part was the breakfast. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Great quality for hotel food. Kept fresh under the watchful eye of Nancy! Thank you ma'am! It was all very good! If you are sooty and are looking for a Ritz for $70 keep driving but if you want a clean room, comfortable bed and a great breakfast to wake up to this it your place. Great value! Great hotel!

Amazing hotel! Clean and convenient especially for the price! Staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay! Located in a small town but with everything you need just across the street! We for sure stay again!

We were driving up North and stopped in Kearney for a pit stop and decided to stay at the SureStay Plus. We are so glad we picked this hotel because of its great location. Not to far of the highway but enough you don't hear the noise in your room. Our room was clean and we loved the look of the lobby. The desk staff was friendly and helped us find local restaurants for dinner! Next time we are in the area we will be staying there again!

We were coming from a Royals game and only used the room for a short time. When I checked in, I had to use the bell to alert the front desk clerk. Granted it was 11 pm. We went into the room and as others said it smelled of mold or wet dog and was very humid. We put the air on and it remained humid all night. You felt like you stuck to the sheets.YUCK!! When I went back to the desk after check in for more blankets , I had to use the bell again. I would not stay in this hotel again. I gave it 2 stars because it looked nice . Breakfast was nothing special.

The room was clean and personnel were very friendly.The bed was comfy and the water pressure was good. Our iron was not working and when we called down to the the desk, she had housekeeping at our door with a new iron in less then 5 minutes. My only complaint was every time we first walked into the room, there was a musty smell.

Stayed here on our way home. The front desk was very accommodating and friendly. There wasn't an elevator and the breakfast area was small and had the basics, but the rooms were clean! The pool was outdoors and we didn't try it.

The room was clean but when walking in immediately hit by stale smoke smell. The fit and finishes were not professionally done. The undermount sink was not installed correctly, it was off center showing showing the uncoated sink edge in the back and adhesive inside the sink. The TV was new, so new in fact that no one bothered to take the protective shipping plastic off the TV feet. The sensor for tv was mounted behind the tv leg so the remote didn't work until the tv was moved. The tub was new, so new that the label was still on the tub. Everyone who attended to that room must have thought it was not their job to fix a simple thing like removing a sticker from the tub. The air conditioner worked to cool the room, but it was not removing humidity. The breakfast was adequate. Overall this place is OK for the price, but needs some attention to detail. The owners should have hired professionals to install fixtures and do the remodeling.

I went to bed with a review I wanted to say. The reception at front desk was amazing and suggestion for dinner great. We asked for a main floor non connecting room. We are carrying oxygen so we did not want to bother others. The room showed they certainty are remodeling. They had a reclining chair??. The bedding, floor and decor great. WiFi worked great. The new toilet seat would not stay up so we propped a towel on top. Now!! We had a tough nite sleep and planned to sleep in. knock on doors HOUSEKEEPING could be heard. The DO NOT DISTURB did not stop him from knocking on our door. 7:17 am. Really. I hope management fires that guy. Ruined the start to our day. Had a lot of miles to cover.

Very quiet place to stay. No outside noise, wonderful staff. Beds was very comfortable. Only complaint was the thick pillow. We are used to down pillows and that makes a difference. Bring your own pillow.

We enjoyed our stay because we have a pet and the motel was great for her. Loved the new laminate floors and the large areas outside to walk her. Clean room, good breakfast and quiet night!

Wasn't expecting much for the price but Rooms were very clean. Staff was helpful and breakfast was decent for a quick eat.

Loved our stay here. The hardwood floors are beautiful and keep the room looking clean and fresh. Good spots to walk your dog safely. Nice breakfast but plenty of eating places nearby for lunch or supper. Outdoor pool looks fun and there's an outdoor patio.

nice place to stay overnight. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was very good with plenty of options for food. very quit and safe place.

My friend and I were on our way to Branson to celebrate the season, and we stopped in Kearney on our way. We were more than pleased with the cleanliness of the room, the great beds, size of TV, and being able to have a refrig, too, in our room. Everything, including the morning breakfast, was Super!
