SureStay Plus by Best Western Kearney Liberty North

Found this location online as we were driving. Wanting a place with a pool to reward our three kids who had been riding in the van for 6 hours. The website indicated there was a pool and it had fair ratings so we booked a room online. Then when we got there we learned that pool which was located outside was out of operation. Sure enough the pool was fenced off as it was full of dirty water. No attempt to make amends for this issue which was such disappointment.

Good for an overnight stay. Rooms have been updated and are standard. Bed was comfortable and we didn't hear any outside noise. There is no elevator so ask for a 1st floor room if you dont want to carry everything up 2 flights. Breakfast area is a little small. They had cereal, oatmeal, biscuits, sausage and gravy. Only fruit was bananas.

I stay in hotels about six months out of the year for work. Have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past for business and leisure purposes. Haven't ever had such a poor experience and I've found myself in some poor quality hotels in the past. This one isn't poor quality, since I keep coming back. It's the staff here that has me not coming back to this hotel ever again. I'm not going to go on a big rant here. I just think that anyone reading this would be better served going somewhere else. There are other hotels in Kearney that probably treat there guests better.

Floors in the room very dirty. Shower would not drain, when you would run the water hair from former guests would float up out of the drain. Would not stay here again.

On the whole, I'd say this hotel is 3/5. For the price it's 5/5. If you're looking for a really nice place, keep looking. If you're looking for a place that is clean and comfortable and won't break your budget, this is a fantastic option. It provides a nice stay for our four nights in the KC area!

Location was great during our long road trip. Before turnpike, easy on and off. Fantastic breakfast and friendly staff. Quiet room, slept great. Safe area for staying. Definitely would stay again while traveling through.

Quiet - good location right off 35. Comfy bed. Laminate, not carpeted floor is nice. Pet friendly - $10/ night plus a $50 damage deposit that gets refunded when you check out. Just make sure you stop at the desk to check out and ask for your refund. Would stay here again.

I do not recommend staying here because local management is unresponsive and unprofessional. I had an issue with billing/paying for my room. I booked online using a best western gift card for most of the cost. Management charged the full amount to my credit card and failed to return my calls or emails to correct the error. I finally to contact best western corporate help desk and once corporate stepped in the issue was correct one month later. When you have an issue at this place, once management ignores you, don't waste time and energy- contact corporate representatives so they can enforce the policies management agreed to as a franchise/flagged property.

This place has the most friendly personnel. Funny and great conversations. They have a pancake maker that is awesome. So much better than those messy waffle makers. Also the rooms are so clean. Hardwood floors, awesome showers. I will stay here again and at any other Surestay Plus Hotel by Best Western.
