Rooms were clean and updated. No carpet, friendly front desk staff. Plenty of food choices nearby.

Loved this hotel for room cleanliness, comfort & value. Convenient to the Inter-State. Beds were comfortable and a/c worked well. Parking lot had good lighting and I felt safe. Customer service was.great! I have used this hotel twice and would visit again. Good breakfast & coffee.

This was my first experience at a BW SureStay. It was the same quality as a traditional BW with clean comfortable rooms and an adequate breakfast. Convenient to several restaurants and gas stations. Easy off and on I-22. Staff was professional, courteous and friendly.

This was our 2nd stay here. Room was clean and comfortable. The agent at the front desk was very helpful, and great attitude. The hotel is convenient to a variety of restaurants. The only issues that I made note of was no coffee maker in the room, and while there are a variety of items on the breakfast bar, I would have liked a few more protein options (GREEK style yogurt, cream cheese, sausage, protein bars, etc). Will definitely stay again when we're in the area.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. I'm staying here for 8 days with my husband and 2 dogs. This is a $200.00 room for only $100.00. The beds are SO comfortable (which is a big thing for my back), we get a fridge, microwave, top-notch dresser, desk, and a table for luggage. Recessed lighting as well. There's no coffee maker but the lobby has great coffee. There's a huge breakfast that is put out every morning. I just stayed at a Hilton and they had a crappy spread in the morning. This is the opposite. They have the best waffles ever, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, toast, bagles, orange and apple juice, coffee of course. The staff is so friendly which is greatly appreciated.

This is one of, if not the BEST bargain hotels. The Sure Stay Best Western in Jasper is wonderful. The price is spot on & the people there could not be kinder! Beautiful room, beautiful sleep & a nice continental breakfast included.

Love this hotel, they are very clean and friendly. Was cleaner than any hotel I've stayed at the past 5 months. They also offer breakfast but we didn't make it to it we over slept because beds were so comfortable. Definitely worth the money. ❤️❤️

In order to run the necessary electrical they shimmed out panels and ran exposed conduit. No drain stopper in the tub, so you can't take a bath. Continental breakfast was a joke. Personal seemed helpful. Overall just a tired old 1960's motel with a facelift and some lipstick

Stopped here while traveling. Just needing a clean place to crash for the night. We are hauling a long camper and there was ample parking, VERY clean, and breakfast to boot!! I never write reviews, but wanted to as this was a great place and last minute! Front desk gal was very pleasant, too!

Not the best hotel, but was clean and we overall enjoyed our stay. We stopped over one night on a cross country move. The parking lot is well lit and has cameras so we felt very safe leaving our U-Haul and trailer parked there. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and breakfast started at 5am which was nice to be able to get on the road early. The bed in the king room was squeaky and falling apart. No elevator at this property so request bottom floor if necessary. All in all, was a good stop and enjoyed the little town of Jasper.

Absolutely wonderful staff, the room was clean, fresh and beds were comfortable! The breakfast was adequate and even had a belgian waffle maker which was a plus! The room was really clean which is very important to everyone. I will stay here again when traveling in this area.

Great beds, so comfy! Super clean rooms and large and comfortable! Having a comfortable bed and being clean is the most important thing to me! This place is 5 stars! I'll come back here for sure! Just what we needed for one night. Clean, basis, inexpensive lodging. Comfortable bed and pillows. Continental breakfast. No meats or eggs. A bit noisy due to fair across the street in mall parking lot. Very friendly front staff. We're in the area to attend a friends funeral.

This motel was a pleasant surprise! We were on our way home on our cross country road trip, and needed a comfortable, safe, and quiet place to stay after being on the road for hours. And this location was exactly what needed! Motel is small, and doesn't seem like much from the outside, but the room itself was modern and spacious, beds were comfortable, and the amenities were great! Good location with dining options close by. Staff was kind and courteous, the Continental breakfast was good. I would stay here again!

Great room, not a fan of outside doors but this one was really good, nice staff, the room was super clean, it was easy to check in, there was a really good restaurant next door that was within walking distance so we did walk, loved the decor, it was good a size room, but most importantly it was clean and smelled good walking in! Would definitely stay again

This stay was super pleasant, making for perfect accommodations on the way home from a week of travel. Locating the hotel was easy, with very well-lit parking. Even though checking in late in the evening, we were promptly greeted with warmth by Gail, who answered our questions and made us feel at home. The room was very clean and just as described - providing everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. In the morning, Veronica continued showing kindness and stayed busy refilling fresh coffee for a full room of patrons. Breakfast was simple but ample - bagels, pastries, fresh waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt, and fresh fruit. Each staff person we came across was friendly and helpful, even more so than what most present these days. This was truly a comfortable and pleasant stay.

I stopped by here on a road trip, and I enjoyed my stay. Good location, close to restaurants and shops, nice staff, clean room. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 star review is that for a pet friendly hotel, there is only a tiny pet relief area on property. The rooms were hard wood flooring which is great for pets but we had to walk across big roads with no crosswalks or street lighting to get to grass which went ideal at night or early morning with a small dog.

I am a Best Western Rewards highest level member so I stay in a lot of Sure Stays and Best Westerns. This one only had two issues but they were significant. First at check in the agent tried to scan my ID. I don't allow my ID to be copied as this can lead to identity theft. Not sure if she got it scanned or not but this issue alone would prevent me from staying here again. Second, When I pulled back the covers from the first bed I noticed a couple hairs on the sheets. This is gross and disgusting and goes along with some other reviews that question whether or not the sheets were changed? Fortunately I had a room with two beds which I always reserve in case there is an issue with one. I checked the other bed over good and didn't notice any issues with it so I slept on that one. I didn't notice any other cleanliness issues with the rest of the room. I was gone before breakfast so I can't speak to that. Otherwise I have to say I found nothing else wrong with the place. But these two issues are so concerning that I would never stay here again.

The staff are courteous and professional. The cost of the stay was a plus. I stayed here twice while one two different trips. The hotel is next to a shopping area. From shops to restaurants. Overall a positive experience.

There was throw up on the ground when entering the room and later on we realize they were throw up on the bed covers too. This means they don't clean the rooms at all and do not meet the expectations of a Best Western Hotel

Just passing through on the to Atlanta but the found hotel bright, friendly and clean. Its an older hotel, but has been renovated nicely and its in a safe area conveniently located to restaurants. Got an early start so only grabbed hard boiled egg and coffee. Hotel only provides continental breakfast with waffle machine. Good value and would stay again.

The room was nice. The staff was friendly & helpful. The property is a little ways off the interstate. There are gas stations, food & other stores nearby. Much of the mall (shown on the map) appears to be closed. The hotel accepts dogs. FYI internet says pet friendly for extra $20. It is actually $20+ tax per dog. Also the property is surrounded by walls & fences & completely paved. You must take your dog offsite to find a grassy area.

I dried up some water off the floor with a white towel and towel was filthy. The bathroom sink had what looked like facial hair in it. The bed was uncomfortable.Another guest was smoking dope outside of my room.

We booked with best western, jasper al may 6th, 2023 through hotels. com. A second reservation that I didn't book was generated within 7 minutes of the first. I canceled my original reservation due to our plans changing, totally unaware of this second reservation in file. We were charged $110 for a no-show. I contacted hotels.com immediately. They saw it as an error, and requested the hotel to refund our money. The manager, Mr. Patel, refused. I spoke with his manager, Jeannie. She saw the error and said she would speak with him. The following day, they would not answer my calls, yet if I used another phone they would answer immediately. He had his staff lie to me and say he was on vacation, yet another employee would tell me he was due in or on break and couldn't speak with me. I contacted corporate in Phoenix who spoke with him and he still has refused to refund our money. We are in our 80s, it would make no sense to book 2 rooms, within 7 minutes or each other, on separate cards, cancel one and not show up for the second room. We need our money. We don't play games with businesses.

How did we ended up in Jasper? Glad we did though. Although it was about 3.5miles off the interstate, so glad we took the detour! We do 2 round trip cross country trips each year, Colorado to Florida and just stop for quick over nights, typically staying at hotels right along the interstate which are noisy and often sketchy. SureStay was very quiet, clean and atleast our room was newly renovated. Bed was super comfy, shower clean and good water pressure and temperature. I loved how lit up the parking lot was, made me feel my car and belongings were safe. With a full tummy (ate at Garfields, just across parking lot - tasty) the black out curtains, comfy bed and feeling safe, I had a great night sleep. Would stay again.

Great accommodations…we were passing through and it was an awesome place to sleep for the night. We had a pup with us and they were accommodating. The rooms are clean and quiet and the front desk was friendly and professional. Would definitely stay again.

Nicely renovated older property. Updated with new fixtures, doors, windows and flooring. Clean and functional. Great price for weekend stay. Great internet, TV and comfortable beds. Nothing fancy, a room and continetal breakfast with great fresh coffe.

Traveling in area had to drive farther than I wanted. I found this place online and took the chance. Nice hotel and very quiet. Looks pretty well remodeled. Felt safe and secure. Got lucky and the price was very nice and reasonable. Will put on my travel location when in area for business

Acted like they couldn't find my reservation and the entire time they didn't want me to stay at there locations ! The owner does not like black people at ALL . The tone and body language told it all !!!!! Needless to say he doesn't rent rooms to “black locals” his words!!!! Never AGAIN!!!!!

The photos on the website is actually what we experience at our stay at this hotel in Jasper, AL. On our 10 day road trip, we were "catfished" by the nice pictures of hotels just to find out that they were not what they appeared to be. This hotel surprised us as the photos were accurate, the room was clean and welcoming, and staff was awesome in providing a high level of customer care. We hope to visit again in the future and might have to make sure that this hotel is on our future route.

Check in was great got to the room it was a smoking room and boy could you tell!! The smell and there where HOLES EVERY WHERE! The computer chair looked like they rolled it from the dumpster! They take a 100 deposit rather you pay with card or cash.

We stayed one night while traveling across country. Appreciate being able to park in front of the room. It was a quiet location. The furniture was comfortable and the shower was good. While there was no carpet in the room, the floors were quite dirty. We'd stay again because it was a good value.

We were looking for a safe, clean pet friendly hotel near Birmingham. SureStay in Jasper hit all the marks. Staff was friendly and very accommodating. Room was very clean. Area was well lit and very safe. Would definitely stay here again.

It was very clean,the staff was very friendly and helpful I was there for the night and they made sure I had what I needed the best place to stay it had clean sheets on the bed everything was in order.

Lodging is far from a (3) three star rating it is more like a 1 or less. Well it is noisy, visible cockroaches, ashtray outside of room door, room smells due to masking odor, unresponsive staff, broken equipment in room and daylight gaps in door (drafty). That sums it up.

You will not be sorry when you stay here- only 5 years old, so it's updated, clean and very USB friendly. They also accept pets. Breakfast is the typical muffins, granola bars, waffles, yogurt. Coffee bar is by itself which is great so the food area doesn't get bogged down. Will stay here again if in the area. Bed was fantastic with lots of pillows and extra towels.

We were taking our annual vacation to Florida. I searched the many websites for a hotel options in the area. This appeared to be the best option for quality and price. It was a few miles off of the interstate, but was a very quiet area and in close proximity to restaurants shopping areas, etc. We happen to be there at the same time Jasper was having their big annual celebration. As part of what I do for a living, I have responsibilities for events like these. The event was very well run and very family oriented, as well as being a very pleasant clean downtown area. I found the people at the hotel and the people of Jasper very Friendly. The motel had recently been updated and I would rate it a nine out of 10 with 10 being the best. So if you're traveling through Alabama in this area and need someplace to stay overnight, Best Western SureStay is a good hotel at the right price.

Stayed two nights here and felt very comfortable throughout. Good location with plenty of parking, convenient laundry, and a great Asian buffet right across the street in the legendary Jasper Mall. BW has done a great job renovating this new SureStay location.

Clean rooms & friendly staff! We arrived late at night, but they were more than happy to get us checked in and in our rooms! lol Housekeeping could've not knocked on our door at 10am when checkout is 11am but whatever!

Clean, comfortable, well/overly lit. Was going to write a good review, and if you need a basic place to stay, this is a good choice. However, we got in late and needed rest for a cross country drive. Housekeeping woke us up early in the morning to ask if we were staying another night. Called front desk to ask if this was customary to wake guests in the morning hours before checkout time, front desk did she probably was " just checking"... Not sure what that meant. Front desk said "okay, no problem" & hung up .. I hadn't said "bye", so it felt like that hung up on me. So, I'm tired & maybe grumpy from being awakened after getting in after midnight. It's an okay place to stay, but you might encounter some unthinking or unusual "hospitality". The beds springs squeek, but still comfortable. The floor is fake wood, so it's probably cleaner than regular hotel carpet

Your location was a big help and your night clerk was VERY helpful. I had a reservation pre-paid elsewhere in the area. When I arrived at 1.45am, I was told 1) my name was not in the system and 2) they were full. I found your location and got a room. Your guy even went to check the room to make sure it was in good condition. The other hotel called me to apologize, letting me know they had my information printed out in front of them all along. Not funny at all, especially since I'll have to get Hotels.com to refund me. Having to find another room at 2 in the morning is never fun. Just glad you were close by. Overall the location was clean, safe and easy to get to.

Nice safe affordable stop on our way to Florida. It's been recently remodeled very nicely, clean, and felt safe for us and the kids to stop here. Staff is friendly, and it was a great price. Probably will stop on our way back.

I came to town for a funeral and stayed one night here. We were not expecting much, but the night desk employees were very pleasant, courteous and professional.(We arrived around 10pm) The rooms look like they have been updated recently. They were clean and included basic supplies. I love that they have wood floors and not carpet. Breakfast was a go bag and included a halo orange, a small pastry and a fruit and nut bar. They also had coffee and juice. So its not the complete breakfast which was a little disappointing but understandable. My nephew left his wallet and medicine so we went back for them several hours later and received them in good condition. They had called about it but we were at a funeral. We are grateful that they took good care of the items until we could retrieve them. (they were in a bag with the room number stapled on it). My only complaint is that the hand towel I used was a little scratchy and smelled funny. It might be the detergent that they used?? Otherwise it was a pleasant stop over and a nice place to stay for a night.

The hotel was remodeled recently. Very nice place. Great price. Id gladly stay again! The front desk clerk was very nice and friendly. The hotel was very close to the venue which made everything just awesome!! Thanks again!!

This hotel is a great value for the money. You can is an older building, BUT the rooms have been remodeled and everything inside is shiny and new. The staff is friendly and professional. They provided breakfast bags to go. For myself, the room was next to perfect.

This little hotel was a pleasant surprise. I needed a one night room in Jasper just to catch some shut eye and this little hotel fit the bill. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was quiet. Great place and great value! I would definitely stay here again.

My family and I were in the process of moving and needed a place to stay for one night. We assumed since best western had taken this hotel over that it would be fine. Boy were we wrong!!! First they stick us in a smoking room which we did not ask for and aggravated my son's asthma. Next the beds were like rocks and there was only one pillow per person. When we asked for more we were told they were on back order! Like they couldn't have went to Walmart and bought more? The smell was so bad I didn't sleep a wink. We left around 3 because we just couldn't stand this place any longer. Please spend a few more dollars and go up the street to the comfort inn it will be worth it.

Clean rooms presented by a hospitable staff. I was really happy that the fees were not outrageous and they had open availabilities. 10/10 will stay again if I'm in the area. I would suggest you do the same!

I've heard this place is now under new management and that they've spent lots of time and money renovating the place. It really shows! This Surestay is awesome now! I travel quite a bit, and stopping into random motels always puts me on edge. As a person with anxiety, I don't much care for staying places outside of my comfort zone which is why I force myself to travel. The Surestay was one of the best that I've stopped in, especially when I was looking for something affordable. It's clean, and the rooms are nice. The workers are hospitable too. If I ever come through Jasper again, I'll definitely be checking in again.

I was in Jasper on business and was looking for decent place to hang my hat for the weekend. Had a very enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in town. Clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Passing through and needed somewhere to rest for a night. Not a bad price for the rooms and I could see that they have been or are making some renovations to update the place. Checking in was easy and had no issues for my stay.

Great location close to my destination. The hotel is a perfect place to stay for business and leisure. I found the room very clean and comfortable. The management and staff were helpful and friendly, they also have internet and breakfast.

We always travel during July to Jasper for family reunion. This time i decided to sure stay because it is new flag in town. Rooms are newly renovated and clean. Very nice and clean rooms in economy segment. Staff was very nice and friendly. Will stay there again.
