Juan is the gentleman that does the breakfast, he is always ready to greet you in a positive manner. If you don't have a great day after visiting with him, I don't think it is possible. All of the staff always greeted you when you walked in the door and ready to help with what was needed.
Best place to stay in Heber. Kat is a gem and so great to work with. Juan prepares the best breakfast. I really can't say enough good things about the people making this the best place. They are super friendly, helpful, and professional. I won't stay anywhere else.
Decent hotel. Near two very busy intersections but it was reasonably quiet on the top floor. The pool is wonderful and soothing as it is not freezing cold like most hotel pools. The breakfast is OK. They should add healthier options like Greek yogurt and also a dairy free alternative milk product for cereal such as almond milk the bed was comfortable and we had a little kitchenette which came in handy. The worst thing though were the dead trophy animals in the lobby. There was an enormous dead animal head and another huge whole dead animal on a balcony level overlooking the lobby. They did have some nice art scattered about and they need to have more of that, get rid of the dead animals, and stop glorifying trophy hunting, which is so passé. Let's celebrate and support art instead.
Excellent stay and service! Breakfast was great. Quiet hotel. Restaurant choices are close by. Room was clean and roomy. Was here for the Utah State Mountain Bike race at Soldier Hollow. Great weather and experience all around! Will definitely stay again.
The place was so clean it was like brand new. The king bed was very comfy. Very quiet rooms too. I guess the breakfast rotates daily and it's way above average. This hotel also allows pets although we didn't bring ours this trip but even the pet areas were clean. Definitely recommended.
The staff is always so friendly and everyone remembers me. Comfortable rooms and they always make sure we have what we need. The staff is always very personable and helpful. The breakfast is great and has a variety of options. Thank you for making things a little nicer being away from home!
We were so grateful for this hotel. We needed a place to stop for the night. We had a very tired 3 year old and anxious parents. Not only were we able to get a room, they upgraded us so that we would have a quiet place to sleep. It was so nice to have a safe place to land.
Heber City was included in our travels while on a 2 week vacation to Oregon. We stayed in the Heber Valley Best Western. It was a beautiful city and motel. We felt a little spoiled, which is a good thing. I would recommend staying here as well as visiting the hot springs called The Homestead Crater in Heber City, Utah
Seen there was a Hot springs Crater in this area along our travels from point A to point B. We booked a room at the Best Western(our choice of motels) in Heber City, Utah It was beautiful and well maintained. Felt a little spoiled which is always a good thing
Very nice BW. New western decor, clean comfy rooms. Very nice gym and pool. Hot breakfast better than some diners. And always pet friendly. Will stay again. And now I will drone on about nothing because I guess trip advisor requires a minimum of 200 characters. Brilliant.
This is such a great Hotel. The staff is very helpful & friendly. Jasmine at the front desk was awesome. The whole place is really clean. The rooms are spacious with lots of storage space. The beds are comfortable & the rooms are virtually sound proof. I have stayed here multiple times for work & I've never had a bad experience. I highly recommend this location.
Enjoyed the clean hotel with super friendly and helpful staff! Loved the espresso machine for my morning coffee! Great breakfast spread and super comfy beds! The pool/hot tub was great but very busy due to spring break. Our room had a Mountain View which was amazing!
If your staying in Heber, this is the hotel to stay at. We have stayed a few in the city, but this was by far the best! The hot tub and pool were great, they had a good spread for their complimentary breakfast and the room was big, had more amenaties (microwave, fridge, etc) for the same price as other hotels with less. Great place to stay.
I have stayed at this location somewhare around 15 I I have stayed at this location work work purposes probably around 150 nights over the past 18 months and although I have other choices available this is the best place to stay in Heber City Ut. The staff are all amazing ( esp. Makoy and Chris) and the breakfast is the best of any hotel that I have been to. The biscuits and gravy (Wednesdays) is especially great. Always stay at this location and highly reccomend it to anyone passing thru.
This hotel was amazing! We are what you'd consider hotel snobs and given a few experiences with other Best Western hotels in the past, I didn't have high expectations but was completely surprised and relieved with how nice this hotel was. When walking in, the hotel is clean and the decor and cleanliness was impressive. The clerk was extremely nice and got us right into our room (even put a caller on hold to greet me). I can't say enough about the room. From thr granite counteracts, spacious room, and cleanliness. Breakfast was great and they had a good variety of biscuits and gravy, waffle station, sausage, scrambled eggs, pastries, toast, bagels, English muffins, cinnamon rolls. I guess they change the breakfast up daily (main dish). The bed ended up being great (slept great and didn't wake up sore or hurting). Honestly, given how good this hotel is on the wallet, I will now pick Best Western Plus over my regular if the value is comparable. And I hope to get to bring my family back next time because the city is amazing (so many good restaurant options). I dont usually rate hotels unless they are really good or really bad, and felt this one deserved a 5 star review. Thank you for an outstanding experience.
We like to stay at Best Western Plus hotels when we can. This one didn't disappoint. Every employee we can into contact with was very nice and stopped to say hi. The room was very roomy and clean. Breakfast the next morning had a nice selection of hot and cold food and was being replenished often. We will be back when we are in the area.
This hotel was an excellent place to stay while we attended events at Soldier Hollow. Chris and Grace at the front desk were especially helpful and kind. The breakfast was good and having coffee, tea and cocoa available all day was a nice feature. The hotel was clean and inviting. We were in a two room suite and my only complaint is that, while the beds were very comfortable, the mattress on the pullout couch was terrible. It needs to be replaced if the room is being sold as having a pullout sofa for sleeping. If we are in this area again, we will definitely stay here.
On our second day our key card didn't function so I left my wife standing by the door while I returned to the front desk. It took 15 minutes before I finally stated that I just needed to get in our room and then requested that someone bring us a new key. Over an hour later I returned to the lobby where two employees were having a nice visit sitting down in the lobby. They looked embarrassed when they realized they had forgotten us.
I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus and had a fantastic experience. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location was also convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options. Overall, I highly recommend the Best Western Plus hotel for anyone looking for a great hotel experience.
Walking into the hotel was a nice feeling this hotel was so clean and smelt so good. The pool was 24hours we enjoyed that so much. The glow sticks for night time swimming was fun. Breakfast was so hot and fresh with so many different options.
Best hotel in town. I would rather drive farther and have a comfortable clean stay that doesn't make me feel like we are all crammed into a smaller room. The hotel was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here next time my family and I are visiting the area. Thanks for the relaxing experience.
We had stayed in the hotel 4 times recently. The staff is always very welcoming and supportive. The day manager, Makoy, always goes out of his way to help us. The morning buffet is well done and the area cleaned up. The rooms are always clean and well taken care of. THE place to stay in Heber City.
Check in was quick and pleasant. All questions were answered before asked. My room was spotless and the entire hotel smelled clean and sanitized. Anytime I encountered a staff member, I was greeted with a smile and great attitude. The biscuits and gravy they serve on Wed and Sat are delicious.
From the moment you walk in to this hotel you are blown away! This hotel is beautiful. The staff across the board are welcoming and very friendly. This was my first visit to the hotel but I definitely will be back!!
We previously have stayed at this hotel 2 other times without incident and the hotel is nice and clean. My complaint is that the general manager will not return calls to rectify a problem that took place on our last visit. We checked into our room and noticed first thing that the TV was not working and that a lamp was broken. We called the front desk and the night clerk tried to get the TV to work with no luck. She offered to move us into another room. Great! She offered to adjust our bill for the inconvenience. The next morning I asked the desk clerk if our bill had been adjusted after I told her what the clerk the night before had stated. The morning clerk said there would be a 10% discount on the bill. I was happy with that. When I later looked at the bill there was no discount and I was actually charged more than the original reservation. I called and left 2 detailed phone messages for Chris Sims and called 2 other times only to be told that she was either running errands or at lunch. Obviously she avoids dealing with complaints. The hotel is fine and breakfast was good but if you have a problem that requires a manager to correct, Good Luck!
We stayed here only for one night. We wished we were staying for a whole week! The rooms are gorgeous! Beds are comfortable. Staff are sweet and helpful. Tons of tv channels to choose from. It is close to everything in Heber Valley. There is nothing lacking in the Best Western. Highly recommend!!
I was moved to this Best Western from another hotel by our company. Everything in the Best Western was of a much better quality then the previous hotel. I'm so glad the company made us move, as the quality of the final 2 weeks of my stay was much much more enjoyable.
The hotel was very clean, room was a good size for our family of 4. Breakfast was great, a variety for all. We had a great time swimming. Beds were comfortable and I actually slept great in a hotel which is hard for me!
It was necessary for me to stay in Heber City, Utah while my Ford F-150 received some necessary repairs. I spent four days at the Best Western in Heber and was very pleased with the professional service I received from the front desk, breakfast, and house keeping personnel. I highly recommend the Best Western in Heber City.
Nice stay in a good location for snowmobiling nearby. Good breakfast with many choices. Good, friendly service from manager and staff. We enjoyed our stay and our room was nice, although some traffic noise was a little bothersome, but to be expected where our room was. Other hotels are on this main road too, so you would probably have it anywhere nearby and they assisted us by providing earplugs since there were no other King rooms available. It was not a problem the rest of the stay.
Was able to check in early after a early morning flight. Breakfast was very good and lots of variety, its open till 9am Loved having ice cold water available by the front desk and the complimentary hot chocolate and coffee available Will definitely stay again if im in the area.
Easily sleeps six, couch bed was comfortable as well. Very Quiet. Extra USB ports available. Separate make-up with large mirror and well lighted. Kitchen was modern, large full size refrigerator. microwave, a few eating utensils and couple pots and pans. View was spectacular. Close to many eating establishments and stores. Foot of bed storage for suitcases, etc. Indoor pool and SPA was great. Breakfast was good, well stocked and good variety,
This property is in its 6th year of existence and starting to show some wear. Still very clean and nice place to stay in this area but some small issues with the building and staff are starting to show. One elevator out of service, little waterfalls in the pool shut off and some tattered furniture in the guest rooms. Breakfast is minimal but hot (was grab-and-go during Covid). Bacon and scrambled eggs every day with stale bread choices and juice/ coffee. Rooms are good size and beds are comfortable but here's the thing... No Housekeeping at this hotel! Be prepared to wash your own sheets and towels in the hotel laundry if something happens. There is no trash pickup from the rooms, no fresh sheets or towels, no vacuuming of the floors even in the hallways. You are literally on your own at this place. Kind of like an air b-n-b without the privacy. While still one of the nicer hotels in Heber, the lack of housekeeping makes this place a meh for me
We had an event in Heber, so we stayed here for the night. Totally exceeded our expectations! The entire hotel was clean, and every employee we interacted with was so kind and accommodating. I have to give a special shout-out to MaKoy who really looked out for us. He responded quickly to a small concern we had and went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of. The pool and hot tub were both great, and we loved sitting by the outdoor fire for a few minutes when we got back from our event. Our room was spacious and the beds and pillows were very comfortable, We didn't want to leave! Our kids asked if we could stay longer, and they keep talking about what a nice hotel it was. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!
Stunning reprieve on a long drive. The room was spotless and the breakfast, perfect. It's always nice to know that you can count on Best Western Plus to provide a flawless stay. I always reserve with them everywhere.
I enjoyed my short stay at the Heber Best Western Hotel. Staff and room where wonderful. You get a great value for your money. I would stay there again and recommend the hotel to others. Easy to find and close to town.
I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Heber Valley and it was an amazing stay. The Front Desk was very helpful and kind and check in was quick. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was immaculately clean as well. The breakfast was delicious. They had a wide variety of options. Everything was fresh and there was plenty for everyone!
One of the best BW hotels. Clean, friendly, good breakfast. This hotel charges a bit more than some others but it is worth the extra cost. It is easy to find and get into. I am going to recommend this to our friends.
Hotel was clean, centrally located for what I needed, and the breakfast was hot every morning. Easy access to restaurants and shopping. Walmart is across the street if you need anything. Staff was friendly and efficient.
Absolutely the best place to stay in Heber! Beautiful in every way. Very professional staff and very well maintained. i have stayed her multiple times this year and plan on many more stays in the coming months
The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel that offers free breakfast. Staff made our stay even better. Keaton, Chanelle and Sophia were top notch
Andrea, Kallie and Chanelle are the best at what they do! Their kindness and helpfulness cannot be surpassed! The hotel was so clean and tidy. I cannot find anything negative about this hotel or staff!
We had a room in another hotel, that quite frankly, should've been condemned. After walking in the room, I immediately left and told my family we couldn't stay there. I called Best Western Plus in Heber UT and though they didn't have room, figured out a way to get us a place to stay. Room was incredible, clean, amazing staff, and I was so grateful to have a clean place to stay.
Beautiful facility, and conveniently located, but the best part was the service. Chanelle and the front desk accommodated my dad's need for a first floor room, close to the lobby. He was thrilled with the large room. The breakfast was above and beyond anything one might expect - Sofia and Andrea had welcoming smiles for everyone, and even had made egg bites with squash and spinach from one of their gardens for those who wanted it. Will definitely be back!!!
I travel the state of Utah and I'm very selective about where I stay. My recent stay in Heber at the Best Western was absolutely incredible, very clean, organized and a perfect location. My room was exceptional, the bed was very comfortable for me ( I realize everyone has a preference for a mattress) but it was great. The front desk personnel Makoy, Megan and Chanelle were very friendly and made you feel like lifelong friends. Breakfast was exceptional, Andrea and Sofia made some incredible breakfast items and used real fresh eggs. I highly recommend this Hotel for your best stay in Heber!!!
This is BEST Best Western we've ever stayed at - West of the Mississippi. Clean, comfortable and all the staff were amazing. Macoy gave our Golden Doodle treats. Andrea at breakfast was happy, helpful and did a great job and Carter behind the scenes was very supportive. I recommend the waffle with whip cream and chocolate chips.
The personnel at the front desk were very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was more than I expected. Good job Andrea. Thank you for the very enjoyable stay Best Western Plus Heber Valley Hotel. Will be back if I travel this way again.
Finally a hotel stay that was worth the $. Friendly and helpful front desk staff from check-in with MaKay to checkout with Chanelle and Keaton. Breakfast bar was good and Andrea went the extra mile to make sure it was good
Hard to get a good sleep here. Location of the hotel is next to busy street intersections. Plus we can hear water running on and off behind the wall. We spoke to the clerk at night after woken up constantly. He told us to use earplugs!
I was on a long motorcycle trip and the two days spent at this BW was a great treat. Loved the breakfast and the comfortable beds. The location was great, located near great mountain roads yet far enough away from the big city to keep it quiet and laid back.
I've stayed at this property in the past and stopped in tonight to check on availability and rates. I was helped by Kallie at the Front Desk who welcomed me with the same old fashioned hospitality as on our earlier Great Western visit. I highly recommend this pet friendly property.
This hotel is clean, friendly and accommodating. Keaton, the Asst. GM helped us book our group of rooms and made it very easy for me to make the decision to have our group stay there. Upon arrival Chanelle was there with a smile to check all of us in and out 3 days later. She is a gem of an employee with an amazing attitude. Obviously the good demeanor trickles down from management to the staff. This has got to be the best Best Western we have stayed at along our travels. My group can be a little picky and they all said they were happily surprised at how nice, spacious and clean their rooms were. Keep up the good work!
Very clean, nice shape, helpful friendly staff, we arrived late and the young man checking us in couldn't have been any nicer, got us an extra blanket told us everything about the place and explained the breakfast in the morning to us
My grandson specifically picked this hotel for his birthday getaway. We affectionately call it “the cabin” memories made and the wonderful staff made this one day a day of swimming, hot chocolate, and time to be a 13 year old boy. Thanks Chris and staff.
Makoy is the best employee he is very sincere and carried all of our bags in. he was such a gracious host and made our travel effortless. he is definitely one of the best employees ever and definitely will go far in life.
There was a mix up on my reservations, but staff quickly took care of the problem. The rooms were nice and clean. There was always plenty of ice water and hot water and tea in the lobby. The staff was very friendly. I definitely stay here again.
The hotel had clean rooms, a nice hot tub with all of the jets functioning, the pool was a great temperature, and they had a good selection for the continental breakfast, and the staff were really friendly.
I like Best Western because it's clean and safe. I can usually fine one where I'm working. The rooms are consistently clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The check in with the phone application is quick and efficient.
Front desk very helpful. Suite was very clean and spacious. Access to fitness center and pool were fabulous especially pool for the kids. Very clean hotel. Made our stay very pleasant. Definitely recommend.
Very nice staff, excellent breakfast, nice facility but.... due to tight labor market (2% unemployment in Heber) they only have cleaning service on your third night. We were there for four days. With a total bill of $790+ for four nights, some accommodation should be made for all guests staying for more than a night or two. WiFi speed in the lobby was great BUT in room 207, it was very poor (see photo). I turned the wifi off on my phone as cellular service was much better. Finally, they charged my credit card at the time we checked-in. I signed-up for automatic check-out but I didn't think that also includes charging when you arrive.
After staying at this hotel one night extended for another four with front desk saying would be no issue if had to depart early. On leaving a day early assistant manager said would be charged for the night. When told him what I was told when we extended two rooms he was well you did not cancel in our 40 hour cancellation policy. Was very rude about it and based off of this even though the hotel was nice, I would never stay there if that is the service you receive. Told one thing then said that is not our policy. Guess that is why major companies stay at Marriott or Hilton chains. Generally if already in house never had a hotel charge you if you check out early and as one who stays in hotels roughly 200 plus days a year I would know. Sad small hotels who might need business at certain times of the year will lose all of our companies future business over a couple hundred dollars when we extended from one night to four.
I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon this place. I was just looking for a hotel midway between two cities during a cross country road trip from SC. I booked this hotel for two nights. It is a fabulous hotel. The rooms are large and we had a beautiful view of the mountains. I can't think of a thing to improve. The breakfast has a wide variety of foods (and if you want waffles, the waffle makers are in the middle of the lobby during breakfast not with all the other food. They had an egg dish, bacon, potatoes, cinnamon roll bread, and all the regular items you would expect. If you only plan to stop for the night on a road trip, you might want to rethink it. The area is adorable. Due to a change in plans, I booked two nights. I saw Mirror Lake was close, and we hoped to walk around Mirror Lake, but the road was still closed in late May. However, there is a fabulous milk and artisan cheese farm in Midway (another cute town), the Bridal Veil Falls just a 15 minute ride away, and there is the 10,000 year old crate where you can book an hour to soak in the geothermal springs. There are restaurants and a Walmart super close. I'd give the area and the hotel a 10.
The rooms were decorated beautifully. Adjustable shower head was nice. The hotel was quiet which was especially important to me. I loved the breakfast. Good cereal, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, etc. They even gave our square dancer group a discount so the price was super. We loved it there and ended up staying an extra night that we really didn't need to.
One of my family members gave my family a free weekend at this hotel. We live in Washington state and needed a nice room to get some much-needed rest after a long day of traveling. A young man at this hotel named McKoy was excellent. He helped me with any request. I was so impressed by his character and kindness, I will be returning to this hotel when I am in the area again. He made a fan. I just wanted to recognize what an excellent employee you have at this hotel.
We are repeat customers and will come back to the best Western Heber Hotel every time we need a stay. Wonderful staff and by far the best breakfast selection of any continental breakfast we've ever had. The rooms are clean the pool is warm the staff is friendly the beds are comfortable the showers are hot. Love this hotel! Thanks for another great stay!
The staff was friendly, check in and check out was very efficient, yummy breakfast. We chose your hotel because my kids wanted a pool. The pool had way too much chlorine. Our lungs burned for hours after and we had to get out with in 30 due to the burning.
I will totally recommend this hotel to anyone! me and my boyfriend stayed here for a weekend get away and it was super nice! very clean, the rooms are very spacious! and the bed is very comfortable! Also, the pool is 24 hours so we could go at any time we wanted which was a very big plus! The breakfast was also very delicious! 10/10 stay!
This property puts parental controls on all there TV's. I was told by the front desk they did not want there customers watching R rated movies so they are blocked in all guest rooms. This type of control is unacceptable and completely un-American.
We chose the Best Western Plus Heber City hotel for a ski trip to Park City. Prices in Park City have become ridiculous. The Best Western was very close to the slopes, and both Heber City and Midway offered great choices for dining, provisioning, etc. For the price, it is a perfect choice, and we would recommend it to anyone.
I had a wonderful time staying here. The hotel lobby is very welcoming and inviting. The staff was very friendly from the front desk to housekeeping. The suite we stayed in was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone. Location of the hotel was perfect for us. Everything was close by. I cannot rave enough about the hotel and the staff.
This Best Western is conveniently located near Walmart and many restaurant options. Hotel is updated and clean. Very nice lobby with a beautiful modern fireplace. We had a balcony room and it was large and had a great view of the mountains. Front desk personnel all friendly, especially Makari. She gave us great suggestions for activities and restaurants. She had a very cheerful attitude and clearly loves her job. Breakfast had a nice variety and was well stocked. The gentleman who worked the breakfast area was very friendly and worked hard to keep everything clean and stocked. Highly recommend Best Western Heber Valley!
The room was super comfortable and had plenty of space for the few days we would be there. The mattresses and pillows were soft and our room was quiet. Rarely heard other guests in the hallway. My only suggestion is is a brighter mirror in the bathroom. Terrific hotel and staff made our stay good. Breakfast was wonderful too!
Had a frozen pipe emergency at our house so we needed a last minute booking while the pipes were being fixed. Came in to our local Best Western and was taken care of. Huge thank you to the guest services member Makari for accommodating our needs and giving us the best rate in town!
Our side trip from SLC was planned last min and we were traveling with a 4 mo old puppy. The accommodations were convenient for this purpose. Location of hotel was doable to where we were dining in Park City to celebrate a birthday. However, location wasn't great for a view of beautiful Utah. Our suite was spacious for a family of 3 and a puppy and very comfortable.
Severely appalled and disappointed! After making reservations in advance for a wheelchair-accessible room, the room I was given had a bathtub with no handle bars in the bathroom except for one on the opposite end of the spout and no handheld shower head. When I approached the front desk to ask for a room with an accessible shower, I was told they didn't have a room available. I mentioned I had reserved a room for such needs and a man appeared in gym clothes from the front entrance and took over the conversation saying the room was wheelchair accessible which is what I had asked for and they had no obligation beyond that. This unprofessionally attired and unprofessionally acting man turned out to be a manager. He told me this while my 87-year-old mother was wheeled in to the lobby by my sister after a long day of travel. My mother is not capable of bathing on her own and deserves the dignity common etiquette and the ADA affords her. Common decency was sorely lacking from the gym-clothed manager named Keaton who then turned his back on us and left. I have since tried multiple times to contact Chris, the main manager of the Best Western. Chris has refused to return my phone calls. I was in hopes I could simply complain to a manager that would fittingly be appalled they turned away an 87-year-old woman with ADA rights late in the evening that had reserved an ADA Room. That way Keaton would have been dealt with privately and perhaps given diagrams to follow so he can navigate his career socially without getting fired. Instead, I realize they are inept from the top down. My suggestion… stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Their kind staff found out we needed an ADA room and moved quickly to accommodate my mother.
Staff is so friendly and helpful rooms are nice and they are pet friendly. Close to activities. TV has many options. Rooms have a frig and microwave. I have had better beds in hotels but I have a very touchy back so I am hard to please in that department.
On our trip we had activities in Heber, Midway and Park City that we were attending. This hotel was a great location to not have to travel too far to any of our activities. The staff was nice, we had a new employee check us in and he did a great job at making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and looked nice and clean. The kitchenette in our room came with plates, cups and silverware, which we didn't use a lot of, but was nice to have access to them when we did end up needing some. The beds were comfortable and the my son even said the couch bed was better than some others he has had to sleep on in the past year. The room was spacious and had plenty of room. The breakfast had a great selection and we really enjoyed it. The kids enjoyed swimming in the indoor swimming pool and were glad we were able to swim even though it was cold outside.
This is a nice hotel. Smelled clean when we walked in and the young man who checked us in was super friendly. Our room had two queens and was good sized. We didn't care for the barn door at the bathroom. It kept getting stuck and wasn't easy to open and close. Everything else in the room was great. Lots of space. The pool is TINY. If you have children who want to swim, they will be disappointed with this pool. The hotel is in a good location and has a nice staff. We didn't eat the breakfast because it was crowded. We walked through to see what they had and decided we'd rather go elsewhere for food. Overall it was a good stay. I do feel like at $165.00 a night it was overpriced but it is probably once of the nicest hotels in Heber City. We would stay again if the price was right.
Front desk people were very helpful Keaton and Chris were amazing they both helped us with the things we needed and was very kind and a pleasure to work with. The maids went the extra mile. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and a little waitress/Cook was very sweet and very kind and helpful.
This hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable! I had some difficulty with the booking site I used and the General Manager, Keaton happened to be 5 min from leaving for the day. He stayed well past his shift and helped me contact the booking site to resolve my issue. He was friendly and made me feel at ease while he checked me in. My room is spacious and beautiful and comfortable. I'll definitely use this property again and Keaton is my new favorite person!
My husband and I always stay at this hotel when we come into the area. They never disappoint and go out of their way to make our stay with them a great experience. The guest rooms, as well as the common areas, are kept exceptionally clean. This past summer, we had the pleasure of having our family and friends join us at the BW Heber Valley for our son's wedding weekend. GM Chris Sims, Kathy and all the other staff made our stay better than expected (and our expectations were already high). They made their hotel amenities available to us for hosting a welcome event and a family BBQ. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in need of a place to stay in the Heber Valley.
Very nice, clean, comfortable property. Close to Park City ( about 20 minutes). The staff was very friendly and helpful especially Julie at the front desk. Better breakfast than most hotel breakfasts. Grace who worked in the breakfast room was very pleasant. Glad we chose to stay at the Best Western plus.
We have done a lot of traveling and staying in various hotel chains but this is one of the nicest, cleanest and friendliest one. Personnel are wonderful and so helpful. Fantastic breakfast. We planned to stay one night and ended up staying four and the desk clerk was exceptional in being sure we got the best rates. They keep everything super clean. We had a suite and the kitchenette was great. I highly recommend this Best Western.
GM Chris Sims, Front Desk staff Alley and Cindy as well as Harmony in HSKP and her team were wonderful. I booked and kept extending, my vehicle broke down and had to be junked, so with all that stress it was great to have the understanding GM Chris and her staff making my unexpected stay at BW Heber Valley a really great experience. Aloha, David Simoni
This is one of the nicer Best Western hotels we've stayed at. Beautiful sitting and breakfast area with fireplace in the lobby. Breakfast was good with both hot breakfast choices that vary by day of the week and grab and go bag option with yogurt, muffin and granola bar. Hotel was very clean and felt safe during Covid. Beautiful area to stay with tons to see and do. Used this hotel as a hub for a stay to run the Revel Wasatch Marathon and visit Salt Lake City/Park City.
I choose to stay here because of the hotel reviews. The hotel lobby is big and clean. The staffs were friendly . I liked the coffee station The coffee is hot and very good put lots of creamer.. I liked the swimming pool and a hot tub. I liked the portion of the breakfast. Everything is good. We'll stay here again if ever we travel there . No complaint. Everything was great. Thank you .
I have stayed at many Best Westerns in the State of Utah. This by far is the nicest! It is brand new and the decor is perfect for the area. The inside pool that was adorned with two small waterfalls and nice size Jacuzzi was open. This is hard to find these days during COVID.
Where you can see front desk is more attentive on cellphones than the guest. Hope we are treated like cellphones. :) Breakfast was a plus and pretty neat. Overall it was a good short sleep. The property is clean and felling safe with all this COVID thing going on.
My son and his family took me to the ice castles and we decided to stay at the Best Western Plus hotel for the night. It was a very nice hotel and well worth the stay. I could have stayed there longer if time had permitted. It felt like home.
Beautiful hotel, great staff, room was awesome, had a kitchen in it... didn't get to use it but.....they served a hot breakfast, pool was open but didn't check in til almost midnight, so didn't get to use it. Nice little town.
We are excited to use the "second night stay" comp that comes with the rewards program! Very clean and professional. Shout out to John and Deanna. These are people who make BW feel like home! Breakfast was superb and delivered hot to our room. The pool is divine and the service is top notch. See you in Moab BW!!!
Staff & cleaning crew, masked 1/2 the time. A 1 inch gap under my door which i had to cover up with a towel, since the cleaning crew left their catty there every day for hours while the 1/2 masked crew cleaned the rooms ... I had to make the point to them that they not clean my room during this covid outbreak in Utah. Front desk crew rarely masked. Guests, 90% walking around, unmasked. Families swimming in pool! Scary place during the time when infectious rate is 31+% in this area.
This was our first stay ever at a Best Western, as we are Marriott people. However, from the moment I called to book our room, I felt confident I'd made a good decision. I had so many questions as we'd never traveled to Utah before, and the reservationist was wonderful. We were so impressed with this hotel and it's ambiance. It is brand new and the lobby was lovely and decorated so festive for Christmas! Even in the midst of Covid, they had thought of everything to make us feel safe and comfortable. Masks were provided and there is a shield at the front desk which the hosts stood behind. Everything was very professional. NOTE: The guest rooms were HUGE! We had 5 suitcases between the 4 of us in our room and we had plenty of room to spread out. The bedding was wonderful! I even took pictures of the pillow brand so I can try and order them. The bathroom was spacious and the toiletries provided were very nice. There is a nice mini kitchen that had space and amenities to stay several days. However, there are no items such as plates, utensils or cookware so keep that in mind if you plan to eat there. Everyone at the hotel was exceptionally pleasant and helpful and housekeeping was spectacular! We were here 2 nights and would definitely go back. The indoor pool and hot tub was a bonus after a long day of snowmobiling! This hotel is just down the street from Lofty Peaks Adventures where we had an outstanding snowmobiling experience so the location was perfect! It's also close to the Back 40 restaurant which was a dining hit! We'll be back to visit this hotel again.
Want to highlight the efforts of the front desk staff, especially those of Deanna and Julie. We have been coming up 2x a year since they opened. We have always been made to feel special and comfortable. This trip was to permanently move to Heber, our new house is being finished up and our old house has sold. My wife and I joked with them that we are homeless and they both told us to consider this our home and family. They have proven everyday of our stay that they meant it. They have gone above and beyond expectations in service and their accommodating attitude in updating/extending our stay based on changes in our homes completion timeframes. They go our of their way, everyday to ask how we are doing and whether things are moving along. They truly care about their customers. I would highly recommend this hotel for a single night or extended stay anytime the need arises. Thank You to the Staff!!!
The hotel is very nice and the rooms were large and comfortable. The pool is quite small but warm. My issue is with the front desk staff. They never wore a mask the entire time. I had no desire to check in or order breakfast with her, but had to. This is a mandate in the county. No respect for my health or underlying conditions. I've had family die from covid. I wished she would respect others.
In spite of the mandate requiring face masks in hotel public spaces, when my husband and checked in, not one of the 11 people in the lobby or either of the 2 front desk clerks was wearing a mask. The room seemed clean enough, but not sure how comfortable I felt overall.
Had a wonderful overnight stay in one of the king balcony rooms. The room was large with a kitchenette. Beautiful decor and comfortable bed and sitting area. With the COVID, breakfast was different than normal. We called the front desk and placed our order and picked it up in the lobby. It was prepared within 5 minutes and was delicious. French toast and sausage, yogurt, granola bars, fruit cup, muffin, and orange juice. Filled our tummies for sure. This was our first stay in Heber but won't be our last. Thank you also to Julie at the front desk.
I work for a helicopter fire crew. My job as a crew chief is to make reservations and collect receipts. My crew and I had to change rooms multiple times and 4 days later after we checkout we still haven't received our receipts. I have called multiple times demanding our receipts and nothing! I always get the same response “someone will call you back”. No call. I will never stay there again! If anyone reads this and works in the industry stay across the street at the holiday inn.
This is an exceptionally friendly and clean hotel. We will always stop here when traveling between CO and CA. The rooms are lovely, nice size, and very clean. The beds are very comfortable, and that's one of the things we look for in a hotel room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's just one of the finest hotels around.
We stayed here while checking out the Heber Valley. It is at one end of Main street allowing us to walk from the hotel downtown and shop, get coffee, eat meals etc. Our room was large and well lit. The artificial lights were plenty and strong and the window spanned the entire wall. We had a sink and counter plus microwave, fridge, freezer, and coffeemaker, so that making lunches and breakfast was entirely doable. Due to the virus, the free breakfast offerings were limited. There were two to-do offerings that were cold, which were very reasonable, but the hot plate was one choice per day. Biscuits and gravy was offered three days. The staff was helpful and the place was large and clean.
In check in the receptionist was not wearing a mask the whole time and then I thought I had checked in she told me she had given me the wrong room, which took another 15 minutes. The room was very nice, except you cant totally close the bathroom Was a spacious room. Swimming pool was nice and open 24 hrs a day. Breakfast is very very limited. If you dont like the special of the your out of luck. There was also a young male employee that walked all around the Hotel not wearing a mask
Best Western is my go-to hotel for trips whether its for business or pleasure. Some disappoint, but this was not one of them. Very clean hotel that I felt was taking the current outbreak seriously. The room was comfy and quiet. Breakfast is a bit different due to COVID, you came down to the front and requested a warm or cold bagged breakfast and took it back up to your room to eat. This was one of the ONLY hotels we stayed at this summer that offered a warm breakfast and it was appreciated. This was a pleasant stay.
We made the short drive up Provo Canyon and we were very happy with the accommodations. The hotel looks brand new, the room was clean and extremely quiet. Of course, breakfast is different over the last few months everywhere you go. Today they had breakfast burritos and they were fine. Everyone I spoke to was friendly. Overall, excellent property. There's also fast food restaurants right next-door if you want to eat breakfast there.
The room was immaculate, we stayed in the room with a kitchenette. t he room was clean, pretty colors in the room, was very quiet. the pool and jacuzzi was warm and opened for 24 hours. Deanna at the front desk was very helpful, enjoyed talking to her when we arrived , we will be staying there again. our stay was very relaxing,
I have stayed at over 7 hotels in the past 6-months, three of them Best Western Plus. I loved this BW. Great staff. The full kitchen balcony room was so spacious--even with 5 of us. Clean. Comfortable beds. Beautiful views. Definitely will be back.
This hotel seems to take the virus seriously. They deep clean the rooms, they disinfect all touch surfaces, they use an atomizing spray, they rest each room 48 hours between guests. They have a very nice take-out breakfast, for what it is. Beyond this, the hotel is new, excellent quality, tastefully done (if you are looking for pea green accent colors and weird carpet patterns keep driving), and spotless, with a friendly desk staff. Highly recommended!
My husband and I had to travel unexpectedly in the middle of the pandemic due to a family emergency. It was not expected and we weren't even sure if we would find a hotel open at this time. We were prepared to have to sleep in the car. Fortunately this hotel was open and fortunately it was the cleanest place I've ever seen. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3 nights. Breakfasts were grab and go and still substantial. I also thought this hotel did an amazing job with all the social distancing rules. Deanna was so sweet and friendly each morning and she even offered her condolences when we were checking out since she had heard my mom had passed the night before. It was affordable, clean, and great customer service! The staff made a super sad couple of day's much more bearable. We are so thankful!
A very delightful experience the rooms are very clean and the employees have excellent customer service. When I visit Heber City again I will be staying at the Best Western Plus. I would personally give Best Western Plus 10 stars if possible.
Spent my 2 day staycation here! Well maintained, Super clean, attentive and friendly staff! This location in Heber City has been, by far the best experience I've had, compared to the many BW property's throughout the U.S from hawaii to ft Lauderdale! So Thank you to the whole team for making an overall awesome experience, much needed with everything going on in the world with this pandemic!
Great hotel experience, with friendly staff and clean, up to date rooms. Service was prompt and excellent. Good breakfast selection with nice area for seating..Lobby was inviting and well decorated, with great fresh cookies in the evening.
Nice hotel John was super awesome thank u John for starting the fire it was lit enjoyed the nice chairs outside and the cool rock fire so cool wow it was a blast is this 200 letters yet John deserves a raise honestly
I would recommend the best Western plus in Heber city to everyone that is traveling through the area. Not only is it extremely clean the staff is wonderful. John at the front desk was extremely helpful after a long day of traveling. Thanks for your help John!
John is the man. The hotel room has an awesome amount of space overall. The beds are comfy no complaints. The bathroom area is very nice and no complaints at all. The pool is fun and the hot tub is great. I write this review for John all hail John.
Great hotel, the night guy John was very helpful!! 10/10 recommended for service with a smile!! Only staying for a night, coming all the way from GA. He was very friendly, and gave the help that was needed.
By far the best hotel I've been to in a longgg time. Super clean, and very friendly staff. Love the pool recreation area. Interior of the hotel is beautifully done, and very homey to be in. I met a staff member named John, and he was super friendly and kind. Told us things we didn't know, and went out of his way to make sure we would have a good time.
Hotel is dang nice and staff is great. Swimming pool is sweet. The rooms are big and everything is up to date. There is a giant moose In the lobby, and the all around look is pleasing And John is a great front desk guy!
Great all round hotel, the staff can't do enough for you and it is in a great location for park city and other attractions nearby. Pool and hot tub was superb and the rooms were extremely spacious and very clean
Staff friendly and very helpful. Marley and Deana were very pleasant. The breakfast was perfection. A wide selection of breads. yogurt, and hot fresh eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Good clean rooms in a perfect location. Highly recommend!!
We usually stay in Park City on our ski trips to Utah, but I thought this time we'd try a different area. If you're a skier, it takes about a half hour to get to Deer Valley from there, and about an hour ride to places like Alta or Snowbird, but the cleanliness and condition of the hotel in general made up for that. They have a free breakfast that offers a good selection, and the young woman working the area was friendly and sweet. The rooms are clean, comfortable and it's all practically brand new. The bathrooms are nicely done and of a good size, and there's a tub for soaking after a long day skiing. Plenty of options for dinner nearby if you don't want to drive back into Park City (although it's not a long ride). I highly recommend!
My family found this hotel to be the perfect location for skiing, snowmobiling. Snow tubing and other winter activities. Deanna at front desk is very personable and interacts with guests in a very positive manner. She is a true asset to this company. I met John in the early mornings as he was setting up the breakfast buffet. The coffee machine was inoperative one morning and he quickly made a pot of coffee. I am an early riser and he always was pleasant and asked if I needed anything. A very good employee who cares about his guests.
Keaton, better than sliced bread he is! The staff is truly amazing at serving and helping with a genuine and approachable personality Keaton helped us out and was amazing! My wife and I would highly recommend staying here, super clean also with great amenities!
I travel all over the country as a health care provider and it isn't often that I give a review, but the service provided by John at the front desk was superb. He went above and beyond. John was kind, generous, and a great host. The hotel room accommodations' were great and John even brought breakfast up to my room as a courtesy when I said I was still exhuasted from driving. It was a wonderful experience. "Jose"
We made reservations to see the Ice Castles in Midway a month ago but the day we were supposed to leave St. George to go north there was a huge snow storm. Our hotel reservation was non-refundable so we tried to push through the storm but had to turn around and return home. I called the hotel to see if there was anything that could be done with our reservation. Deanna, the guest services person I talked to was extremely friendly and helpful and immediately said if we wanted to change to another day within the week she would just adjust the reservation rather than cancel it and lose out on our hotel cost. I asked if she had a recommendation when the best day might be for the commute and her recommendation was spot on. The hotel was so new, clean and very friendly. Highly recommend it if you are in Heber City.
Attended a conference in Midway but stayed here as I was too late to stay at conference. Hotel was lovely. Staff was super friendly (special thanks to Keaton for his help checking out). Room was huge and location was convenient for running out to get supplies or a run for fast food. I'd happily stay here again.
For the staff to laugh at you for being Vegan and asking for any vegan options for your coffee or breakfast was beyond un-professional. Also, they did not know how any of their food was prepared to help warn of any allergies. It was a very clean place but super cold as well.
She was absolutely a fantastic cook. Her hospitality was awesome. I very much give her 5 stars. I recommend staying there. John was also such a good host. They are very professional they both need a raise.
This hotel is very nice and pretty new. The room was spacious with a refrigerator, microwave and small sink. Breakfast was great and included. The staff was extremely friendly, particularly John who helped get me something I needed in the early morning. John was very friendly and went above and beyond.
Very nice place, overpriced for the night that we stayed. They were fully booked so their prices were higher than usual and I thought it was too much. The facilities were great, breakfast was awesome and there 24 hour pool was one of the best I've experienced.
The customer service was the best we've ever experienced at a hotel. Everyone we met there was courteous, hospitable and just genuinely friendly. Deanna behind the desk always went out of her way to help us and was very friendly talking to us. Marly especially went out of her way to personally deliver extra hangers for us and wouldn't even accept our gratuity when we offered. Finally, Joanna did a fantastic job with the first rate breakfast, we think she might have a future career with her voice.
A fairly new and well-designed facility. Mandatory refrigerators and microwaves in each room. Free breakfast is quite decent and lovingly served. My travels take me all over the world, I have often wished that the place I was staying was as good as BW Heber
This hotel room was perfect for our 3 kids under 5 and two adults. It was a bit pricey though. Front desk staff was never really out at the actual desk, there was always a sign out front and a phone to call. Overall it suited our needs. Next time we will propably look for an Air Bnb or something similar for the price we paid.
Visited area for Dog Sledding experience. Chose this hotel due to the location and positive reviews - the reviews were accurate. New property, clean inside and out, large, clean, well equipped room, decent breakfast included, good fresh coffee available at the large and very comfortably appointed lobby 24/7. When we booked the stay (3 Days) we inquired about the local horse drawn sleigh rides, when we arrived at the property, Diana had all the info waiting for us ... that is service above and beyond, thank you Diana. The Best Western Heber Valley Hotel should be used as a standard for all Best Western properties.
I had an an amazing experience visiting this hotel. The man at the front desk named Shane was very nice, helpful, and patient with me and my friends. He did well woh informing us all of all the great accommodations this hotel had. We had an amazing stay.
This hotel was staffed by the nicest people possible. The breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel without it being a made to order meal. I must say the hotel was nice overall, but the staff were really what made this stay amazing. I would drive a longer distance to stay here again on our next trip.
We ended up getting snowed in to Heber City driving home from Wyoming. This hotel was clean and sleek! There was a delicious breakfast with spacious rooms. I wish there had been a restaurant on site since we got in and couldn't leave with the weather, but other than that, it was great!
The staff was great, Joanna, Keaton, John, Marly, Kevin, Michelle and the other ones I can't remember helped me get situated awesomely. I'm going back, and would only stay here. The facilities are first world, the breakfast is good, and the rooms are clean. I didn't even mention the pool, hot tub and gym. Let me mention the big conference room too. I never expected it to be so nice at the price I got to stay there for. Thank you for making Utah awesome.
Excellent! By far the best experience with any hotel chain I've dealt with all year. Friendly, attentive staff. Clean rooms with prompt service and great breakfast selection. Very helpful in every area needed.
An excellent stay even though it was short. I would have enjoyed trying the breakfast opportunity but had to hit the road very early for the long drive back to California, The facilities were clean, & quiet, coupled with a very friendly and efficient staff. I would defiantly stay again!
Our room was spacious and extremely clean. The most wonderful was that there were outlets everywhere for plugging in all our devices. No more looking here and there...they were on each table. So convenient! The floor was so clean I even did my exercises on it with no worry of dirt. Kevin, the manager helped with a scheduling error for me with no worry about staying an extra night. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was so fabulous, you will not be hungry again until dinner!
We were in town for the Heber Western Music and Poetry Festival. This Hotel was perfect in every way. Quiet, clean, good breakfast, convenient location and the staff was friendly, professional and exhibited a positive attitude towards their work and guests.
We were very impressed with the hospitality and service at the Best Western Plus during our stay this past weekend. Top quality all around from the breakfast to the comfort of the lobby to the timely job of servicing our rooms.
We stayed here 2parents 2 teenage boys, family suite worked perfectly, great hospitality, breakfast, very reasonable, room design 2 queen beds in bedroom ,pullout sofa in living room, balcony, full fridge ,kitchen large table, and thanks also to Keaton@Front desk,Park City only up the road a piece, all stores u need for perfect stopover,Eat @Back 40 restaurant all local +very fresh
Not one problem or complaint with B/W Heber Valley. By far this is the way all hotels should be run. The staff was always smiling and helpful. The rooms, hotel and breakfast areas were super clean. Check in/out was easy. And the breadfast was great. We stayed 3 nights. If ever in Heber Valley this is the place to stay !!
It was a pleasure staying at the Best Western Plus in Heber Utah. Great people, great stay and a beautiful Hotel. This Best Western is very well run and is at the top of our list for Hotels in Utah a great credit to the Best Western brand.
This hotel is wonderful. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The rooms are really nice, the bed and pillows are so comfortable. The pool and workout rooms are open 24-7. The breakfast was great, with a lot of variety.
The lady who checked us in and out was nice unfortunately I can't remember her name. The manager Kevin walked around during breakfast to make sure everyone had what they needed. The hotel also has a nice gym
This is a new hotel, with the friendliest staff I've ever seen. Deanna spoils you. She gives you a treat when you check in AND the reward points. Everything about this hotel is CLASSY. The breakfast was WOW! They offer Seattle's Best and Starbuck's coffee, instead of that gross hotel coffee at 99% of all hotels. The food was perfect! The gal who worked the kitchen was super friendly and helpful. The room was exquisite, comfy, clean, quiet. I've stayed at dozens of hotels and this one stands out as the best! In fact, we actually planned our vacation around staying at the hotel for two nights. It's hard to have a 5 star experience at a hotel, but I can't say enough wonderful things about this one and its awesome staff. If we're ever in Utah again, we'll definitely plan on staying here!
We loved staying at the new Best Western Plus in Heber City, Utah. The pool and gym is open 24 hrs. The rooms are nice, clean and roomy. The beds are warm and comfy. I loved that they had barn doors for entry into the bathrooms! Very fashionable!
We have been staying at Best Western hotels all over the Midwest and West Coast for the past 3 years. They have remodeled and updated many of them. This is our favorite so far. They are clean, pet friendly, and so accommodating to travelers. Your staff has been wonderful at all the locations we have stayed. At this location, Molly was so very helpful and friendly. We appreciate all the extra touches to make our stay wonderful. Pet treats for our dogs, the fire pit area, lighted walkways all around the hotel, with grassy areas for pets. It makes traveling on road trips easy and relaxing knowing that we have consistent places to stay. Thank You
It was a great experience. We called to check if they had a room avail. just minutes before we got there. The desk clerk was able to offer a discount for State Employee. She was kind and accommodating. The bed and room were excellent.
Very modern. Every detail thought out in rooms. Best breakfast too. Friendly staff too. Even their hot tub was hot!! So much to see and do in this area without paying the bigger price in Park City. Go to Midway Mercantile for dinner ... excellent!
The hotel is very nice in general! I have never seen a staff care for their guests the way this hotel does. In particular, I feel like John went above and beyond his call of duty. He is very friendly and genuinely cares. Will definitely come back again!
Deanna really made our stay great. She worked with us to accommodate some last minute room changes, everything worked out great. Great room and decent breakfast as well. No question, We'll stay here again.
You would be a fool to stay anywhere else. The entire team is so helpful and they really treat you like family. Deanna, Keaton, and Kevin were amazing but to be honest, the entire team deserves a shout out. The property was always clean and inviting. Great location, walkable to restaurants, fast food, liquor, and Walmart. Another shout out goes to Jana... a true rockstar if there ever was one.
We had to stay at the hotel for a couple weeks waiting for our home to be ready, and Deanna was so helpful! She kept trying to make things as easy as possible and finding us the best rates. She is awesome!!
I stayed here for 2 weeks on business. Staff customer service is the best anywhere--courteous, professional, and they are truly interested in making the customer's stay the best anywhere. Keaton at the front desk is awesome! Clean, well-appointed, comfortable rooms, nice pool and hot tub area and fitness room with great mountain views. They also have a way better breakfast than that 'other' hotel nearby! The breakfast staff is always helpful and cheerful. Great stay overall!
I try to only stay at BWP. Always a great place to stay. Clean, great service and very nice rooms. Amenities are awesome. This last stay had a few bumps but the good far out weighed the bad. Would recommend Best Western Plus to anyone.
Wow! Where do I begin. This hotel alone makes me want to leave Cali and move on over to Utah. Keaton went above and beyond his call of duty even before we got there. Him helping me lock in 3 nights there helped me out SO much on this particularly busy sold out weekend. He was so friendly at check in when I had just driven in 10 hours. It felt like it was talking to an old friend when he greeted me. The manager is super cool and lovely in her heels. The sweet pretty gal singing while attending to the breakfast in the morning made my day. I felt like Dorothy not in Kansas anymore but in a great way. I was able to take my california resting (you know what) face off, smile and vibe out with the kind people. Even the other guests staying there were happy. It was a positive infectious atmosphere. Thank you for making our family trip that much extra special. They also were so kind and helpful w/ our service dog. 5 gold stars across the board. I can't wait to plan another trip ASAP. Thank you everyone. Your place was a breath of fresh air when it comes to kindness, mindfulness and polite customer service. Athena
The cleanliness, outstanding staff and Continental breakfast were by far the most exceptional experience we have every had. I will in the future look for a Best Western to stay. They only added to our fun.
The hotel is great with all of the amenities, plus a pool. Keaton at the front desk was great. He is very kind and helped us with a taxi transportation issue. He is very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.
The hotel was amazing, had great staff, clean rooms and an amazing breakfast! I would stay here over a Hilton even outside of this city! It was close to everything I needed during my stay. Overall very impressed!
We love Best Western and we are Diamond members. We had a suite on the third floor with a balcony facing the mountains. After sight seeing at Flaming Gorge, Sundance, Park City, etc. we always had a glass of wine at sunse on the balconyt. The indoor pool and jacuzzi was fantastic. Deanna and David were top notch at check-in.
Five star rating!! This Best Western is so well staffed and the rooms are incredibly clean...we were impressed. Our car broke down and we were able to book a room for our family of 5 quickly. Janna was so helpful at making our family feel at home here. The breakfast was incredible and there staff greeted us with a “good morning”! Little touches like that go a long way! Thank you to the staff who made our stressful situation (with the car) much less stressful with a wonderful stay here at the Best Western.
We stayed at This Best Western plus on an unexpected trip over the weekend. The staff were super friendly and great all around! Triple AAA+ here. The room was extra large with a small kitchenette and sliding barn doors for the bathroom which was extra cool and plush! Way more than I ever expected. They have a great pool and an awesomely stocked hot breakfast, along with a cozy lounge to relax by the fireplace. They have a fully stocked convenience store and a guest laundry. In short they everything you could need for a great stay and it close to all of the action both in and out of Heber. We will most certainly stay here again.
Broke down in Heber, was able to walk in and get a room. Deanna was really friendly. The room was very clean, hotel lobby was beautiful, breakfast was great. Thank you....we would definitely stay again if needed
I have stayed several Best Westerns over the years and this one was the best. The employees were extremely helpful, facility was great and the breakfast was the best that I have ever had at a motel. Would return if we were traveling through the area.
Very nice rooms and amenities. Beds and pillows were very super comfortable. Cool pool and warm hot tub. Breakfast was very good. Looking forward to another stay at Best Western! Thank you for a clean place to stay!
They made me a special breakfast because I was allergic to everything offered. The continental breakfast had milk as ingredients in everything they offered, so desk clerk had server make me some plain eggs. Very appreciative.
Good value for money . Staff seemed to care about the customer experience. You would not be disappointed . Good location and very clean premises. The hotel is only 2 years old , so quite new and very clean
This was a beautiful new hotel with all tbe amenities!! Wonderful breakfast. We had a handicapped room as that was the only king size room. It was very large room with a wonderful bed, super pillows and great bedding. Heber is a gorgeous area. Id come snd stay here anytime
We enjoyed the 24 hr pool and hot tub. Very nice rooms, easy check in and check out. Staff was nice, good breakfast options. Coffee was very good. Great location to get in and out of. Local bar within walking distance
This hotel provided excellent service at a very good price. Great value for a top rate room and fantastic breakfast fare. The room was well-appointed, clean, and even had a balcony. We did not use the pool or exercise room, but it was nice that they were available. The staff was always pleasant, helpful and accommodating.
Hotel was okay but the mattress was terrible. Worst night of sleep I've ever had at a hotel. Breakfast was pretty bad too. Room was clean and hotel was updated but would not go back based on the matress
Enjoyed our stay! Staff was friendly, room was clean and modern. Also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, especially having China plates, silverware and cloth napkins. Good variety of breakfast items, as well.
I was promised one rate (and I have the paper to prove it) and charge more than was confirmed to me. When I finished my trip and noticed the overcharge I called the hotel, they were no help. I opened a case# with bestwestern.com and sent them the proof of what rate was confirmed to me, and have received no response (over 2 weeks ago) It's only about $10, but no one likes to be overcharged. I left the hotel wanting to give it a glowing review...until I saw my credit card statement and saw that the charges were different. So sad that they are willing to lose me as a customer because of their unwillingness to do the right thing.
We all enjoyed our night here, including the dog. The hotel is new and clean. Bed was comfortable. The room had a small kitchenette, which we appreciated. The dog areas are a little small, but adequate. This is a new favorite way-point on our annual trek from AZ to WY. It is at a busy corner, so try to get a room away from the highway intersection. (I.e. same side of building as the main entry.)
I found it kind of funny that this was my 55th birthday and the room that we ended up in, without requesting it, was a handicapped room. I guess that made me feel a little older then I liked. There was no way for the motel to know it was my birthday though. Something that was quite annoying is that the clerk late on Friday night was not able to assist us with the Government rate. He said "I am locked out of that and just a nobody so he couldn't help me" He said that I would have to take it up with the manager and because they were full he didn't think that I would get it. My husband had booked online and didn't have the opportunity to put in my government info so it wasn't our fault that the motel was full. In the end, Keaton gave us the rate but it was frustrating to have to go through that. Also, we signed a paper when we were checking in and were told that it was for no pets and no smoking, but right down the hall were two dogs that barked a lot. Frustrating to say the least!!!
My husband and I booked this hotel because it was the closest hotel to a wedding we were going to. We usually do not stay at Best Westerns. This hotel totally exceeded expectations. I'm not sure when it was built but it appeared new. Everything was really clean and well-maintained. The rooms were spotless and the beds comfortable. There is complimentary breakfast, which was probably a little more exciting than typical hotel breakfasts. The staff were incredibly friendly as well. I would definitely stay here if in this area again.
I come here after. The hotel is great and has every amenity you could want. Very clean and modern. I am writing this to give a particular shout-out to one of their several great employees. We drive over the road and often get to a hotel late and tired. DEANA was the person who checked us in. Her friendliness and personal demeanor was welcomed and nice. Deana learned that we would be leaving before breakfast. When we got up we found that she had prepared two very nice sack lunches for us. She even made cookies. This was such a nice and welcomed gift. Thanks Deana That was a very refreshing act of kindness Danny Frito-Lay
Best Western Plus in Heber City Utah did a fantastic job making our girls weekend a huge success. Fun place, brand new and gorgeous rooms. Friendly staff and very helpful in all areas. Our only mark down was our dinner reccommendation from the clerk. She suggested The Hub just across the street. It was not up to par in any way!!!!
It is a beautiful hotel located in a beautiful mountain valley. Everything about our stay was positive (plenty of parking, fast and friendly check-in and check-out, a beautiful room on the 4th floor with a view of the mountains, every area of the hotel looks new and is clean, and a delicious breakfast).
WE stayed 2 nights in Heber City, with a nice view of the mountains. Close enough to visit Salt Lake City for the day. Hotel is very clean and staff always helpful. Staff made recommendations for dinner that were very helpful. Ask for a room with a balcony.
a great place to stay; the best I've experienced. I deal with all employees, there is John the night auditor who is hard at work, and very efficient at what he does. He always asks if there is anything he can do to help.
Amazing place with good service, has people up for late nights I am personally grateful for the night manager John for being able to just let me buy stuff and just chill out when I just couldn't find a way to sleep
John was very pleasant and very helpful. Will recommend to others! We are very excited about this location and plan to stay often. Lots of extra items to make our stay more enjoyable. Pet friendly too!
I stayed with my family in March 2019 and really enjoyed this hotel. The staff were very friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome. The hotel is very new, so rooms and amenities are in great shape. I would like to return to ride some local mountain biking trails here, which are highly rated.
My family was in a real bind. We are getting some work done on our house and the schedule got messed up. At the last minute we needed to be out of the house for 4 days. They got our reservation worked out right away and took great care of me and my family. We really appreciate the team looking after us when we really needed it. This hotel is brand new and the rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable.
I stayed here for three days. It is very conveniently located and even though it is located on the main street is was very quiet. The pool area was open 24/7 and very clean. Breakfast was served starting at 6 am and was everything that we needed. I recommend this hotel.
I stayed at this hotel when moving from Michigan to Heber. I stayed for one night and my dad stayed for 4 nights. We did not make reservations because we did not know when we were going to arrive in Heber. Deanna was EXTREMELY HELPFUL when checking in. We were able to get a great deal and it was a great welcome to the city. If you need information about the area, seek Deanna. Deanna offered us great tips for the city and recommended great places to eat. She also provided me with information for spring and summer activities since I was going to be living here. She is the epitome of exceptional customer service. This hotel is clean, safe, and extremely comfortable. If I were traveling alone I would not have stayed here as it is slightly out of my price range, but after staying here I would now pay the money because it is a great hotel. The breakfast in the morning is great (waffle bar, eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit, etc...). I highly recommend this hotel if traveling to the Heber Valley area or if staying to venture up to Park City. It is about a 20 minute drive to Park City.
I don't write reviews unless I can add something new. Everything said by others in prior reviews about being a great place to stay is true. A very pleasant surprise (after receiving 3+ inches of snow) to find that the snow had been brushed off all of the vehicles in the lot. I asked about it and was told that it was part of their standard practice. Thank you David. He needs a brush with a longer handle because some of the 4-wheel drive trucks are too tall for him to reach the center of the windshield. I'm somewhat of a tech geek and tested the speed of their WiFi from our room on the 4th floor. It was the fastest I've seen in any hotel. I've been testing since 2011 using SpeedTest.net. Keaton was in constant motion during breakfast, checking to see whether you need anything. As an aside, on prior trips we stayed at a different large hotel chain across the street. It has fallen into disrepair and I've written a review about it specifically mentioning how run-down the furniture is within the breakfast area (among other areas). Out of curiosity, I stopped at that hotel during this visit and nothing has changed except a large sign saying that new furniture is due in the future (didn't say when).
We recently spent 2 nights at the Heber Valley Hotel for a family wedding that was centered out of Park City. We could have stayed in Park City, but we are delighted that we chose the Heber Valley BW AND we didn't have to contend with the people and traffic chaos that reigned in Park City proper (and much nicer value for our $$). First of all, the Hotel is only about 1.5 years old, so the interior is fresh and clean. The rooms were nicely appointed, with a separate "bar" sink and refrig outside the full bathroom. Linens were lovely. Breakfast was excellent for one of those buffet-style hotel breakfasts. However, what really made this hotel stand out was the exceptional customer service. It began even before we arrived. We were driving down from Montana for this wedding and weather in Montana had been terrible for the last several weeks. The pass we needed to travel to go to Utah had been closing every few days due to snow/wind/snow drifts. The hotel has a 48 hr cancellation policy, and 48 hours prior to our arrive, the pass had just re-opened from another weather closure. I phoned, and the manager (Jana) graciously granted me a 24 hr cancellation, otherwise, we would have been forced to cancel the trip. By 24 hrs out, it looked like we could make it, so all worked out. After our arrival, all of the staff continued to exceed our expectations through their friendly attitude and helpful nature. David was a standout!! We will definitely put this hotel on our list again as a great place to stay when one is in the area!
I visited the hotel for business in the area. The hotel lobby was clean, modern and quaint with comfy lounge chairs, computer station and breakfast tables. A late check-in with John went smoothly and quickly. The king bed room was spacious, immaculate with plenty of drawer and closet space for a week's stay. The morning buffet breakfast with eggs, breakfast meat, potatoes along with a pancake maker (never tried one before.... it's fantastic!) and waffle maker, along with yogurt, pastries, and juice, coffee and tea was so delicious. I never had to wait for an item to be refilled. The staff was quick to replace and refill items throughout the buffet hours. They also went out of their way to greet guests and ask if I needed anything else. I took a day off from work and went skiing at Deer Valley one of the days. A few great tips for skiers: park at Jordanelle Express Gondola instead of going through Park City town to ski at Deer Valley. The drive is only 10 minutes away from the hotel. I would recommend any skier to stay at the Best Western in Heber City instead of staying in the Park City area. Heber City has a plethora of delicious family-friendly restaurants, traffic is non-existent comparably to Park City, and getting to ski Deer Valley is just a short drive. I do not see any reason to consider staying in Park City when you have this wonderfully managed hotel by Jana Brown. She manages the hotel with great precision. Every staff member at the check in desk (I loved meeting Keaton, John, and Jana!), at the morning buffet, in the pool area, and housekeeping says hello, asks if my needs were being met and checked in to see how I was enjoying my stay. I used the indoor pool and jacuzzi area which was kept very clean, and towels were constantly being replaced when emptied. Without a doubt, I would recommend anyone visiting the area to stay at this immaculately clean, well-run hotel. It was incredible. Hotel managers and staff made for an enjoyable stay. Thumbs up for great service in a great location! Would definitely stay again!
We had an excellent 2 night stay! Room was spacious, clean, modern with mountain views. The breakfast was exceptional and offered so many choices! Staff were friendly and helpful! Will definitely stay again next visit to Heber City!
I was here for the World Cup Biathlon in February 2019 & I have to say the entire staff were superstars. Keaton greeted me with a friendly smile & hello before I even got to the front desk. I arrived early & he immediately checked to see if my room was ready (it was) & he checked me in. What a beautiful surprise. The room was perfect & comfortable. This will be my home away from home each time I come to Heber City. Thank you Keaton for making me feel at home! You are a rockstar & Best Western is fortunate to have you on their team! Cheers!
Very clean and comfortable hotel with an ideal kitchenette suite that is great if you're traveling with kids (two queens and a pull-out sofa, plus lots of floor space). The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful making restaurant suggestions. (Visit Lola's in Midway). The breakfast had a good selection, including bacon, scrambled eggs and, best of all, a make-it-yourself waffle station complete with strawberries and fresh whipped cream. Excellent waffles, too. The only two drawbacks are that US 40 is busy and can be noisy during the day. (It wasn't too bad at night). Also, the bathroom door doesn't lock, which is strange, but there was a little "powder room" before the bathroom that also had its own door (not lockable, either), that provided some privacy.
Excellent hotel, very clean, new, great attention to detail by the staff, excellent hot breakfast buffet included in price. Wonderful stay. 10-15 minute drive to Jordanelle Gondola in Deer Valley Ski area.
Everything was great. Keaton made sure we were taken care of in every way possible. The breakfast was always fresh and had many great options. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in or near Heber City.
Enjoying my stay at best western Heber valley. Excellent value 25 min drive to park city skiing. Free breakfast is solid. Especially wanted to mention Dave who has been incredible. He has helped fix two minor issues in my room and I notice him speaking with other guests around the hotel and he is incredibly friendly and just seems like a great guy to have on staff. Willing to help with whatever to make the stay better. Thanks to Dave and the rest of the staff.
The staff was very accommodating every day. Deanna was exceptionally helpful when we checked in and each night to let us know when the fresh cookies would be ready. The breakfast was always fresh and had many great options.
I recently hosted a conference and reserved approximately 160 rooms over 4 days. Our entire experience with this hotel and staff was EXCELLENT! The lobby area was also amazing. There's several places to sit and relax, have a cup of coffee and snack. The Sales Manager Jana Brown was absolutely incredible to work with, as well as the rest of their staff. Dave, who assisted me with the conference was also very helpful and was available any time I needed him. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in or near Heber City. Thanks. :-)
The entire staff at this hotel was amazing! They went above & beyond to make guests comfortable. Extremely personable! Very clean hotel, great choices for breakfast, outstanding customer service & beautiful views of the mountains! We will definitely return for our next ski trip! Keaton is one of the employees there & he couldn't have been more welcomin, as well as helpful!!
Best Western Plus Heber Valley Hotel is the cleanest hotel I've stayed at. The staff is extremely friendly. Everyone from the front desk (shout out to Keaton) to the cleaning staff asked how my stay was going and if I needed anything. Keaton helped me check out. He is awesome. We joked about our different CS experiences in MA (my home state). As he said "we get each other". I would deff recommend staying here. One tiny thing I would of liked, a small gift shop. Cant go away without bringing a little something back for the kidos. Very clean Great staff Easy check in / check out Pool and gym open 24/7 Many diff selections at breakfast Large rooms with microwave and fridge Plenty of towels Quiet room Comfy bed _ lots of pillows
The Hotel is a average Best Western, the staff makes it exceptional. Deanne at the front desk is extremely knowledgeable about the area. Brandi was proactive in preparing the room for special needs children. I will always recommend this hotel because of the service
Had a great stay at this new Hotel. Friendly Staff made you feel at home. The gym was more than you usually get and to climb into the pool and jacuzzi after a day in the slopes was great. Big parking and easy to check-in and out.
Great hotel and super cute in the rooms. It still has the new feeling inside and are very clean feeling! Staff was great and the breakfast was actually really good. The eggs didn't taste like they were fake! My kids and I were very pleased.
wow i dont know where to start By far amazing Nothing that i would have expected the room was HUGE i havd stayed in many 4-5 star property and some of them dont have such big rooms kitchen bath tub balcony microven what else do u need And then free breakfast so many things cearls pastiers eggs juice fruit pancake waffle FREE awesome and Erice the breakfast was amazing we had an exceptional experience And then the swimming area 24HOURS can u believe it i havent been to a hotel with 24hr swimming pool and hot tub amazing will def be back n its just 20min drive to deer valleu canyons park city love it!!!!! Thanks best western
This place is awesome! Kevin's crew is the best. They are fun and excellent at hospitality - 5 star to the max! Melissa's crew keeps the rooms spotless and they are excellent! Can't say enough and definitly recommend this hotel!
We had our family Christmas party here and it was amazing! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The conference room was so nice and big, it had windows all around for natural lite, they had it all set up for us and it has its own radio and microphone for us to use. Right out side is a beautiful fire pit and chairs for you to enjoy. The kids all loved the pool, and breakfast was amazing! We will be staying here again!
A short overnight stay. Very nice hotel and rooms. Breakfast was great. Hotel staff seemed busy chatting with people they know instead of helping guests. But didn't affect me much. I would absolutely stay again.
We decided to take a short drive up from SLC to do a little train ride on the Heber railroad and wanted a cheap place to stay. We got a nicely furnished king suite with a kitchette for a very very good rate! I was pleased with the service and attentiveness of the staff upon checking in. It was nice. But I will say bar none was the service I got the next morning at breakfast from the host Erika. I am on a special paleo diet and could not eat the cowboy casserole. It looked divine but I cant have the cheese or the sausage. Also the meat that day was sausage and I cannot eat it. I asked Erika if I could please have a special order of eggs and bacon. She was so sweet and helpful and said it would be about 10 mins. She brought it out to my table where I was sitting eating fresh fruit and drinking coffee. EXCELLENT service and a newly updated and clean hotel! Would definitely recommend it and will stay here again when I am in the area.
This is a clean, new hotel with spacious rooms. Melissa in housekeeping went out of her way to retrieve and send a lost item. We paid a very good price, about $100, and would probably stay here again. I would give this property four stars except for the major design flaw. Whoever designed the bathroom really needs to be taken to task for the sliding barn door. Not just because this is a trend that's been on its way out for a few years now, but because this design element was never intended to be used as a bathroom door. Not only does it not lock, but it doesn't even close all the way. I am attaching picture of the door fully closed. When I took the picture I was standing with my back against the hotel room door. If you're in the bathroom and someone in your family enters the room, anyone walking past could see into the bathroom.
We booked this hotel on our way home from visiting family for Thanksgiving. Beautiful property in a great location. Modern, clean, friendly staff, great hot breakfast, and stunning location in a gorgeous mountain valley just 17 miles from Park City. Roads in Wyoming were closed the day we were supposed to leave so we booked a second night and the process was quick and easy. Added bonus...warm cookies greet you in the beautiful hotel lobby. I definitely recommend this hotel and we will book here again!
I had worked in the area for 10 months and stayed at your Best Western + in Heber Utah and was treated like family,Very very pleased with every thing all the time I was there, you are truly great people from Management, front desk, breakfast and cleaning staff. Thanks for everything Kevin, Jana, Keaton, Melissa, Marli, David and Deanna, by far the BEST place to stay in Heber, Utah
We were there during the Heber Valley Cowboy Poetry Gathering October 26 - 29 and could not have been more delighted. Beautiful new hotel, very comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks to Deanna and everyone for an especially nice stay. The complimentary breakfast is better than most, too!
We have to come to Heber finish the remodel at the Mountain Land one stop. The owner of Mountainland Muhammad got us a room at his highly recommended Hotel, the Best Western Plus. I must say that John and all the other staff went out of their way to see to our comfort. The pillows are heavenly, the room was exquisite and clean, the breakfast was delicious and the pool and the hot tub seemed extremely inviting. AWS custom builders will definitely recommend this hotel to all our business associates and Friends.
Diamon Select Elite Member here and I love this place! One of my favorite Best Western hotels to stay at and I've stayed at a lot of them. From the exterior BBQ grills, to the fantastic pool/hot tub, to the spacious and comfortable rooms, this place rocks! Friendly stay and beautiful décor. Keep up the great work!
Everyone was awesome. The woman who checked us in went out of her way to make sure we got a room that would work for me. (I have some mobility issues). The managers (I talked to two of them at different times) were friendly and accommodating. The kitchen ladies fixed egg whites for me each morning. One desk clerk in particular went above and beyond the call of duty to help me with something. He was kind, caring, compassionate and considerate. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was above reproach. Trust me, if I was unhappy, they would have heard about it. For the most part, the breakfast food was fine for most people. I have certain restrictions but I know you can't have everything. I did wish there had been recycle bins for plastic water bottles, but not a lot of places do. We were in room 429 on the mountain side and had a great view of them. It snowed a bit during our stay which made the view even better. There were plenty of outlets for our electronics. This is usually a pet peeve of mine but in this case, I was very happy. The ADA rooms are on the first floor with a king bed. I gave up that up in order to be on a higher floor. There was one grab bar in the shower and they sent up a rubber mat for the tub.
My family stayed here a couple weeks ago and had a wonderful experience. The rooms are comfortable, and the tea in the lobby and late night hot tub was much appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, but my mom and I, both vegetarians, were disappointed to see that the eggs were all served pre-mixed with sausage. We asked the woman prepping the food, Erica, if they were able to do eggs without meat and she quickly prepped a generous portion for my mom and I, which fueled us for a great hike that afternoon. Thank you Erica! My only complaint is that the bathroom doors do not fully close. This means that if you are sitting on your toilet and someone else opens the door to the room the person in the hall can see straight through to you on the toilet. Everything else about the hotel is flawless. Please adjust the doors and then it will be perfect.
Our stay was amazing. The staff was kind and helpful . We needed a place to store a few things. And they were gracious enough to do that for us.And the breakfast was amazing every morning. There were waffles pancakes eggs biscuits and gravy. Anything you would ever want for breakfast was at the breakfast bar. One morning they were out of whip topping I ask and they delivered right to our table Favorite was pool spa was open 24 hours a day. I would highly recommend
Very good, pricey but OK value for money. The new hotel offers a lot, spa and pool small, as is the breakfast room, but the staff is professional and extremely friendly and helpful to everyone and also funny and engaged.
All the staff at this hotel are wonderful! They were all very friendly and helpful! Erica was great at breakfast and went above and beyond for us! They keep the hotel very clean! And it looks brand new still! We will definitely be coming back here every year!
My husband and I spent a weekend here for a quick getaway and we loved it! The building was beautiful and sparkling clean! The staff was incredibly helpful, "Keaton", one of the managers specifically went above and beyond, he was so engaging and personable, he really made our experience exceptional! The breakfast was delicious and the location was central. Will definitely be back!
Absolutely amazing place awesome customer service!! David and marly were extremely helpful and quick to help! We came in after a fairly bad experience across the street and they made good where the competition epically failed! Thank you guys for making our stay comfortable and easy! Check out was easy and Deanna was quick to answer all our questions and was quick to set us up with there rewards program!! Thank you! See you guys in November! Btw breakfast was beyond what I expected Lots of different options and was amazing! I highly recommend this place to anyone
This is mine and my husband home away from home best breakfast in town! And its free! Erica is one amazing cook and Keaton who works the front desk is so incredibly nice and so funny we will definitely be staying again!!!
Nice staff, very stylish decor, comfortable bed, dogs are allowed. Tea and coffee available all of the time. Laundry available. Good internet connection. Breakfast is typical Best Western breakfast. Large room. Slow WiFi! No bath tub in our room, not sure about others.
Friendly and helpful staff, VERY CLEAN, rooms are beautiful and new. We had a king suite - the bed was comfy and kitchenette was stocked/clean. Bathrooms great. Breakfast was delicious. Very accommodating staff. Would absolutely stay here again if we were in the area.
For our last night in Utah, we went to Heber City and stayed at the Best Western Plus. Decent price, and great accommodations equals great value! The bonus is that it's quite new! Desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Families will enjoy the 24 hour pool! We “oldies” enjoyed the hot tub.
We had the best Girls' Weekend Trip ever! The Best Western staff was kind, courteous, and helpful. Keaton came to our technology rescue in the conference room; his perseverance saved the day. We've already booked our next visit for April!
We stayed just one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. Room was clean, quiet, and well appointed. The staff was great, and we took full advantage of the pool and the treats in the lobby. Two newspapers to read over our delicious breakfast. No problems, and nice people at the desk and the breakfast room. They even had gluten free items! We will be back.
rooms were large & hotel had just turned 1yr old. COMFY beds, mini fridge & microwave, quality breakfast. Front desk started the fire pit for us on a brisk/chilly late Sept night & it was fantastic to sit outside by the fire pit while having an after dinner brew. only had 1 night, but wish could've stayed for more.
Staff was very outgoing and helpful, the room and accommodations were too notch. I haven't been at a Best Western in years but if thos the way they run the operations at all their locations it won't be my last stay!
Everything that you want! Clean, friendly staff, quiet, comfortable beds and pillows, good breakfast, good rates, nice hot tub and pool! I highly recommend this hotel. Wish that I could have stayed longer.
This hotel's manager is the worst I have ever had the displeasure of conducting business with , he has less than zero customer service or interpersonal skills , he does not honor anything or anybody . Advise Best Western to upper management , get rid of him because he is costing your hotel in reputation and business . Advise to customers , a newly refurbish Holiday inn just across the street with ten times better friendlier and accommodating service than that of the above "worst western"
I stay at alot of best western and I must say this one is way above the rest. Great staff great rooms and a very good breakfast one of the best. I would definitely stay here again. The staff were over the top friendly GREAT PLACE TO STAY
We loved our stay in Heber. The beds were soft and supportive. We had a fantastic nights rest. Staff helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was filling with lots of options. The rooms was well designed and clean.
We arrived in Heber City after a long drive and entered the large and clean lobby of Best Western Plus Hotel. Deanna greeted us, and though we were early for a checkin, she found an available room and we were in our room and relaxing within 5 minutes. Our room was spacious, clean, with a small refrigerator, sink, and microwave, and a 42inch flatscreen with lots of channels. Breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good for the rate of the room. Breakfast options were cold cereal, yogurt, waffles, pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage egg cheese biscuit sandwich, bagels, muffins, fresh fruits, juices, coffee, tea—in other words, something for everyone. Real plates, silverware, and cloth napkins is a nice touch. The breakfast table and chairs area is very comfortably arranged, and also in this area is a long table with several phone charging stations available. In the lobby is a very comfortable couch and chairs with a TV and a fireplace. Also available is an outdoor area with two barbecue grills for hotel guest's use.
Fantastic experience! The service was great and the hotel is very clean. The wide spread of breakfast options was also delicious! The room was large and clean. Beds very comfy. And the pool is open all night!
Heber Valley is gorgeous! Our suite was a two room with a full kitchen which was a pleasant surprise. John, we hope to see you again on our next venture! All staff was wonderful!! Definitely going to visit again...
We really enjoyed our stay. It is a new facility, rooms are lovely, great views if you get one of the higher floors, plus a nicely furnished fitness room and lovely swimming pool. The staff was extremely pleasant and made it a wonderful experience.
This hotel was so nice and new. The staff was wonderfully attentive! There were so many extra touches that made me feel the luxury and comfort! I can't say enough nice things! It was close to everything and was such a better value than any competitor.
Nice hotel that looks and feels brand new. Clean Huge rooms. We got a 2 queen with a sofa bed and it was perhaps the biggest non suite hotel room we've had. Breakfast was average. Indoor pool but very small. Expensive though. There isn't a lot of hotels on Heber City and they take advantage of that. I paid over $200 a night for a Best Western budget hotel! Next time I'll plan more in advance if possible so I don't have to pay so much. If it was in the $125-$150 range, that would be more reasonable.
Reserved a King room online weeks before arrival. At check-in the front desk person stated that he hoped that I didn't have my heart set on a bath, if you want to stay in the same room as your dog then we have to put you in a "accessible" room. This was not what I reserved or wanted. No options or apology given. If this is standard practice why didn't the website indicate this or direct the customer to call the hotel for information/availability of pet rooms. I was handed the key and the clerk started doing something else. I had to actually ask him where my room was. Honestly, it was a strange, uncomfortable experience. I travel extensively with my dog and she has always been welcomed. The $30 fee here was actually more then other hotels/motels charge but when I reserved I thought it would be worth it. The room had an unpleasant odor (urine) and the bedding was not as pictured on the website. Good location and the actual building and grounds are new and nice. I was not asked how my stay was when checking out, just asked if I would like a receipt mailed or emailed. Just overall terribly disappointing. I did reach out to the manager, Kevin, and received a response 5 days later because he was in area without phone service. He found my comments to be "very genuine, level-headed, and informative". No apology and no discount was given, which other hotel chains have told me that they would have offered. Kevin did ask to call me but when I stated I preferred email correspondence I did not hear anything further. It is a nice hotel but pet owners may want to possibly make inquiries about pet policies before arrival.
had a great sleep and the bed was very good. The aesthetics and ambience of the motel is very good. They were very busy but the clerk was very calm and efficient in getting all the customers taken care of.
This is a very new Best Western Plus, which has not even been open a year. I have never been much of a BW fan, because many are really very run down. However, this is a very nice hotel. Big beautiful lobby with fireplaces, outside fireplaces, and has a very inviting feel. Large pool with good exercise facilities. Breakfast is also available, and there are plenty of dining options close by. We were in a suite, which was very large, and well appointed. Heber City is right next door to Park City, where you can pay several times more for a similar room. The Best Western Plus in Park City is about 40 years old, is much more expensive, and is not anywhere as nice. You are also much closer to the Deer Valley Gondola on US 40 than anywhere you could stay in Park City, unless you stay at Deer Valley itself. You can also be to Park City Resort in about 25 to 30 min. However, $1000 dollars a night at Deer Valley, vs $130 in Heber is not chump change. You can be in the Deer Valley gondola parking lot in 15 min from this hotel. If you are wanting to explore the Park City/ Heber Valley, and want to keep your expenses down, you really should stay here.
Stayed at this hotel twice in June as we took a road trip back east. The hotel is beautifully kept. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. My husband is disabled and the room amenities were great. The bathroom has a sliding door so it is not difficult for a wheelchair bound person to use. The roll in shower was large and the in shower bench was actually useable. The hotel is also pet friendly with a deposit.
We loved this inn. It felt brand new (evidently opened in October 2017), The room was large, comfortable and very nicely appointed, with a nice view of hills. There was a separate sink/bar area with a mini fridge and a microwave. The bathroom was lovely! A broad granite style sink area with lots of room to put your "stuff". The whole establishment was very tastefully decorated, with nice wide halls that were well lit. The lobby had a very appealing seating area and the breakfast was very good. The staff were great. The clerk who checked us in made a special effort to get us hooked up with the free Chargepoint electric charging station in the parking area. We will definitely return when in the area. And a bonus: the indoor pool and spa were open 24 hours!
The staff was very friendly and quick to check me in and help me. The room was wonderful and clean. Bed was comfortable and room comfortable. Loved the coffee and tea in the lobby. Also, the breakfast buffet was fabulous!
From the moment we pulled in we felt at ease. After traveling all day (11 hrs) this was an answered prayer for the soul. The atmosphere was relaxing, staff was helpful, room was gorgeous, bed was excellent and the full hot breakfast was icing on the cake! The hotel opened in Oct, 2017 so it still had that new smell. Overall I would rate it a 5+ And we have stayed at many hotels during our travels and not many make it on our list to review this highly.
The Hotel Concierge, Keaton, did a fabulous job at helping us feel welcomed. There was a little mix-up and he more than made up for it. That guy knows the meaning of hospitality! The room was fresh smelling and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The people in Heber are so friendly! I will definitely stay at this hotel again!
Best Western has leveled up, and it's right here in Heber City. John, the late night concierge was terrific!! He was an absolute gem of a human and deserves a major raise for his kindness and hospitality. They know what they're doing! Save yourself the hassle and book with them directly, vs. Priceline. I was on a roadtrip from the Grand Canyon to Yellowstone and this was my favorite place we stayed. The manager, Keaton was a doll too. All around one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. Keep up the great work, y'all!!
Very nice, modern, clean hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were nicely appointed and the staff always greeted us as we came in. The views of the mountains were beautiful add well. I would highly recommend.
I was very happy with our stay! Clean, quiet, comfortable and the staff was so friendly and kind. The breakfast had so many options and especially for me, who is both gluten free and dairy free, I was able to eat fully and enjoy what I had. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, cereal, fruit. It was delightful, thank you.
This Best Western is very nice since it is brand new. The staff was very friendly. The issue I have at all Best Western is that the coffee is horrible and the breakfast is almost inedible. I avoid staying at Best Western for this reason. Holiday Inn Express is across the street for the same price. Next time I'm staying there.
The staff was very friendly. We felt welcomed and cared for. Keaton went above and beyond to help accommodate us! Loved everything about our stay. Out was awesome! We have never experienced a breakfast at a hotel quite like this! Biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone that we know!
If you are looking for a very friendly staff, very clean hotel, beautiful surroundings, and a fantastic price then this is the place you need to be. There are allot of things to do and within a short driving distance to multiple locations and adventures.
Passing through on my motorcycle in a rainstorm. Staff (Jana) was excellent, pleasant, welcoming. Offered under cover parking for my bike before I even asked! Nice rooms, breakfast, outdoor patio with fire-pit. Thanks, will stay again!
My sister and I took our little girls here for a girls night away and we had a blast! The staff was so friendly and the hotel is brand new, modern, and clean. We had a blast swimming, then eating fresh baked cookies and drinking hot chocolate (all free in the lobby). The complimentary Breakfast was awesome and the kids thought it was amazing! They had pancakes, topped with M&Ms, chocolate chips, whip cream and sprinkles... with eggs and sausage on the side and juice to drink. The adults had fresh waffles with strawberries, and yogurt and granola and fruit. It really was such a fun place to stay. We highly recommended it!!
We held an event in the banquet room at best western plus heber. It was perfect. We had about 60-70 people. Great facility. We were well taken care of. Our out of town guests had a very nice stay in their spacious sweet. Thanks again!
We took a spontaneous fishing trip to Strawberry Reservoir and needed a place to stay. I looked this hotel up on-line and it looked nice. Booked the room. When we got there, we were greeted at the front desk by the clerks. They were very nice. The room was very nice, loved the barn doors in the room. The bathroom was really nicely done, loved the lighted mirror for makeup. Watched the Utah Jazz Playoff game and then went for a swim and to the hot tub. It's open 24 hours, which is a plus! Great nice sleep, then down to breakfast. They have a really nice breakfast and the pancake machine was really cool! While we were eating, the front desk manager “Keaton” came over to check on us. What a nice guy and funny, enjoyed talking with him. He made us feel like we were important guests. All in all, this is a very nice, great hotel. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.
The hotel is nice, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is fine, it was the same every day. Waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal, eggs and sausage. They had a pancake machine but it was broken while we were there. They had cookies out in the late afternoon, but this was at totally random times and they were usually left splitting one as they would be almost gone when our kids found out they were there. The negatives lose a star for me...almost two. There is a nice pool but it was frustratingingly small, the hot tub controls didn't do anything, and even though there was a sign on the door not to prop the door open it was propped open when we tried to go swimming and it was freezing. We called the front desk and they said they'd opened it because they shocked the pool. Lots of kids used the wall of the hot tub to jump into the pool, so we only swam when it was empty. The worst thing about this hotel is the sliding barn doors in the rooms. I know they're all the rage right now but with a toddler it's hard enough to keep them out of the bathroom and from hurting themselves without sliding doors that you can't keep closed. The counters in the bathroom are all open so he was bringing us towels and soap before we figured out how to keep him out. We had to wedge our luggage behind them to keep them shut. Our daughter cut her finger on the handle when she was trying to shut it. Even without a toddler there is a big gap between the door and the wall when the door is shut. Other than that it was a nice room and everything was clean. The cleaning staff was really great, too.
I stayed here although my conference was in Midway at the Zermatt simply because I wanted to check out this new property. I was not disappointed! From the moment I walked in the lovely foyer, where I was greeted by the desk clerk, DeAnna I was treated like royalty. I was so impressed with her courtesy and hospitality. She was quick to get me checked in and into my room. Jana was there to offer me answers to some questions I had about a banquet they were setting up, and even invited me in to look around the banquet room. If I could only say one word to describe the place it would be "classy". The elevator was incredibly fast to the fourth floor where I was staying, My room was large and spacious and spotless. I loved the decor and I liked how there was an extra vanity area where I could do my hair while my sister was in another room showering. Our beds were divine, with quality linens and pillows. We saw some kids in the hall the next day and didn't even hear them all night long so I was surprised they were there, so the walls must be pretty sound proof. I didn't hear any outside noise from the nearby highway all night either, I slept like a baby! The air conditioner and heater worked great and it has a thermostat on it so its easy to control. This is a great place and I will never stay at the Zermatt again!
For a quick weekend trip it was great, it met my expectations. The Staff were great and the property was kept very nice. The breakfast was better than I had expected and the rooms are very updated. The bathroom Door doesn't have a lock and that was a challenge but we would stay there again.
This hotel was fairly new but has been well kept! It was really clean, the staff members were very friendly and made sure I was aware of all the amenities that were offered during my stay! Highly recommend a stay if in the area.
Great Hotel, very quiet and huge rooms. New hotel with wonderful service and fresh baked cookies in the evening. Breaky was excellent. Nice fire pit and pool area. Close to restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend
I had housing fall through last minute and found decided to stay at the Best Western Plus in Heber while commuting into Park City. I am very pleased with my decision. Overall a great stay with friendly staff and excellent service. The breakfast had a variety of items each morning, the complimentary coffee in the lobby was a nice touch. The place was always very clean and comfortable. I had a relaxing stay for a very stressful beginning to my trip. I will definitely stay here again in the future.
Room was spacious and clean. All appliances worked. Breakfast was excellent. The service staff were polite. Location worked really well for us getting to Soldier Hollow events. Location of liquor store next door was a bonus!
The room was new, clean and quiet. The staff was very helpful and the location is good. I travel to Heber all the time and the problem with the hotels in town is no one has updated their properties. The Holiday Inn use to be nice, but now there are holes in the carpet and last time I stayed there they ran out of hot water. For now everything is new and perfect at the Best Western- lets hope it stays that way.
Grateful the hotel was able to cancel my previous reservation due to an emergency health issue and was able to give me best rate without reservation upon arrival. Check in staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast room girl made fresh decaf for my husband. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
These guys (Keaton) were very sweet and attentive. They made breakfast, check-in and check-out quick and easy. The hotel and our room was very clean. The beds and pillows were comfy. It was a quick over-nighter, but I will definitely stay here again.
Property was clean and inviting while the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice sized and you didn't feel cramped. The breakfast had a nice selection and the coffee was good. I would stay there again.
The hotel was only 4 months old so I'll be manatees were fresh new and clean. We thought the decor was a little above average and we enjoy this day found it comfortable. One nice feature was it their pool is indoor in open 24 hours. Our grandkids love that. The free back braces average for Best Western. But we found the staff professional and helpful.
The Hotel is nice an new. This new design has a barn type door for the bathroom. Beware the bathroom door doesn't lock and there is a 2 inch gap between the bathroom door and the wall. Not a lot of privacy. The rooms are clean, beds are nice, and they will give you extra blankets and pillows if you ask. If you ask for a late check-out just beware that your room key will stop working and you might get locked out of your room...
Great hotel. Definitely will put this as a place to stay in the future. They were friendly, clean and very accommodating. We had about 15 teenagers The staff was great with them. We did our best not be loud and ruin it for other guest.
We stayed here for 6 nights during the Jr National Championship Cross-County Ski race in Soldier Hollow and rented a 2 queen suite. The suite was very nice, clean and we had plenty of room for the 3 of us. My only suggestion would be to have a better equipped kitchen. The hotel is very clean and the staff was top notched, friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool, exercise room and even a sitting area outside to roast marshmallows. The hotel is within close proximity to numerous restaurants and a state liquor store is next door to buy strong beer, wine and spirits.
This was our first time to Utah. We were very impressed with the Best Western in Heber City. It was in a great location. Had very friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast and an indoor pool that was open 24/7. The internet was fast and the showers were hot. The rooms were very clean.
Lots of space, high speed interne and an adequate breakfast. Bathroom with a fan that works well. Something I have not seen in much more expensive hotels. Absolutely essential for a family traveling together.
We had an amazing stay here! The hotel is brand new, clean, updated, and the entire staff is very friendly. It was also great to always have tea, hot chocolate and coffee in the lobby throughout the day. The workout room is beautiful and had everything we needed. It also had large windows facing the mountains which is awesome. The rooms had all the amenities we needed, and the beds in the rooms were so comfortable! Even though we didn't stay in a suite, the rooms are very spacious, and are larger than an average hotel room. The only thing that could've been better were the shower heads, but the rest of the hotel made up for it! Keaton was a great host throughout our stay and went above and beyond for anything we needed! We will definitely be back, we're already planning our next trip!
This place was clean, accommodating and friendly! We stayed in one of the suites! They are so roomy and comfortable. Had a balcony that looked out for the sunrise over the mountains. The views were fabulous. Brand new hotel and the staff was so friendly. Pool and hot tub worked out well. Will definitely stay here again if in the Heber City area!
This hotel is new and very nice. The décor in the lobby and the rooms is very modern, sleek and inviting. The linens and beds are very comfortable. Having a mini frig and microwave plus small kitchen sink was an added bonus. The breakfast was good with a good selection. The hot tub and pool are a little small, but both were very clean and hot. The rooms are exceptionally clean. The staff that waited on us were very friendly and helpful. The was location was great for us since we were skiing at Park City which is only 15 minutes away. I would highly recommend this hotel!
As a first time stay at this hotel I can tell you it was great. We stayed in the King Suite, everything was clean and beautiful in our room and throughout the hotel, even the pool/hot tub was clean and well kept. Mattresses are good quality too. Wish we stayed longer!
This is a great value for the money. The sleep quality was good because the mattress was really good. They offer a breakfast with the room, no extra cost. Pancakes, waffles, eggs and biscuits and gravy is what I remember from the three mornings that I stayed there. The staff are also very accommodating. Small fitness room that I used. It was good enough.
This is a new hotel and it is beautifully decorated and well cared for. The rooms are spacious, the bed was comfy and parking was easy and abundant. The manager, Keaton, was helpful even as he was training new employees in the computer system; he did not make me wait. I absolutely would stay here again and recommend it to anyone.
New hotel in Heber City. Very comfortable, nice decor and clean rooms and public space. Great location with easy access to the great outdoors. Friendly staff and eager to assist in any way. Will stay again!
Loved it ! Great staff, especially appreciated Lora and Keaton who were thorough and patient with my extra questions. Beautiful new hotel and a truly GOOD breakfast! Not microwaved. Pet friendly, great location.
Friendly service across the board, they bent over backwards for us. Nick, Lora, Keaton, Jon and Kevin at the front desk were very helpful in booking and welcoming us when we arrived and answered all of our questions day or night. Melissa was great because she made sure our room was ready and notified us when it was made up each day. Angel was super friendly and nice he went out of his way to make us feel welcomed. Best Western staff worked well as a team with each other and treated each other respectfully. They didn't discriminate against disabilities in who they employ. They are super!!!! We will be back, and look forward to earning a free stay at this amazing hotel. Our room came with all the commodities and a full kitchen that we loved. Thank you again Best Western Plus of Heber.
Nick B. and Nicole L. are knowledgable, pleasant and customer focused! When I called due to weather, Nick made me feel like a valued customer. Then when I checked in few hours later, Nick and Nicole made me feel even better. The check in experience was amazing! The facilities are clean, convenient, modern and spacious! Everything about this hotel is tastefully executed and thoughtfully upgraded. The room is excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling for business or pleasure. We would most definitely come back to this location!
I would have given this a better review for how nice the hotel was but we arrived at 3:15 check in was at 3. Our room was not ready. We had to wait 1 and 1/2 hours for it to be cleaned. The next day during check out we was told they would discount our room for the delay but our visa was charged the full amount.
My wife accidentally screwed up her reservation and reserved her room in another state. The hotel was booked due to twenty high schools coming into town for the basketball state championship. She thought that she and her friends would have to drive all the way home and have to cancel the rest of their girls night away. I need to thank Keaton for making sure that we were refunded and then placed the girls in a different room that wasn't available otherwise. My wife needed the time away and I just wanted to thank a kind manager for helping these women when they were away from home.
I accidentally placed my reservation with HEBER ARIZONA and not HEBER UTAH!! The city had 20 HS kids coming for State basketball playoffs and they were booked. Keaton went above and beyond made sure that I was refunded and found a room that he could put us in. He gave us the utmost customer service and made sure that not we had shelter but he also made we were comfortable and felt a little better about the mix up. Not to mention that the hotel was GORGEOUS, but if anything, Keaton needs a raise.
From the moment we walked in, the treatment we received here was fantastic. Keaton, the manager, was very warm and welcoming when he approached us. When we figured out we had a mix-up in our reservation, he took care of us anyway, even though it was a busy weekend and he definitely didn't have to. We are forever indebted to him. He saved our vacation! This hotel is beautiful and clean, the room was amazing, and the employees were friendly and helpful (seriously Keaton, THANK YOU)! Would recommend this hotel to anyone without reservation.
We had a mix up with our room, and Keaton bent over backwards to help us out. We were 4 friends having a weekend away, and he made the start of it very pleasant, when it could have been a big hassle and ruined our weekend. The hotel is beautiful and our room was amazing with a beautiful view. So glad we picked this hotel for our getaway! If I could give it 10 stars I would!
Perfect Hotel for our weekend getaway! Great Staff! Great Food! Perfect location! I loved the deco! Even though we saw a lot of other guest including several young children - we didn't hear them in our room - good sound proofing. Thank you Lora and Keaton (I am sorry I forgot the other elegant ladies name who worked Sunday 4:00 pm.) Only suggestion - supply better kleenex/tissues.
The staff is amazing! Hotel is very welcoming. I will definitely stay again. The breakfast had great selection. The fitness room was well equipped. The mirrors are really cool as well as the sliding bathroom door.
This place was beautiful inside and outside. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. The toiletries were the best I have used in any motel I have been to. There is an in lobby fireplace and also an outdoor firepit. Would definitely come again!
I don't often give superlatives for hotels/motels, but this BW+ certainly deserves five stars! When we stayed for two nights in February, 2018, the hotel was three months old and still smelled "new". The BW+ is tastefully decorated and has state of the art amenities, including reliable wi-fi that was built-in from the get-go. There are even tables in the breakfast area that double as places to plug in laptop computers! The lobby is large and impressive with seating areas next to a gas fireplace and the public computers. We checked in early and were given a first floor room that was actually handicap capable. It was large as might be expected with a kitchen area that was missing only a range for cooking and even granite countertops. I was told by the desk clerk that there are one or more rooms which actually do have ranges/stoves, but I was unable to verify that. Our king size bed was comfortable and due to its newness wasn't "hollowed out" yet. The other furnishings were new and unblemished. The staff was unfailing pleasant and helpful. And despite being near the junction of Highway 189 and US 40, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, except for the patter of little feet in the second floor corridor. All-in-all, a great BW+ and highly recommend for a stay in Heber City. In fact, I'd say it's the best BW+ I've ever stayed in anywhere and we're Platinum members!
Stayed for business for 3 nights and was VERY happy with the hotel - the staff, the rooms, the decor of the whole place, the 24 hour hot tub and pool, the fire pit and the location. The staff was especially fantastic. The manager Keaton gave the best of service, and it trickles down to the other people at the desk. Lora was fabulous too. Very kind, great service, and happy folks. Everything is within walking distance, and its only 22 minutes to Park City. If in the area again, I will recommend this place to my company. There is even a tasty healthy food truck that is there on certain days. Great place!!!
Quick stopover and glad we did. Lora at the front desk was very helpful. The room was spotless and large. A tiled shower! And the black makeup towel was a nice touch. The breakfast was good, large selection.
This is a brand new hotel with all the usual room amenities but also including a small kitchen. The bath door is very unusual as it is a sliding barn door, which could be a nice feature. But it doesn't close completely with a rather large crack, which might be a privacy issue. This could be easily addressed and fixed with a trim board so door contacts the trim to seal the exposed gap. The room was very comfortable with contemporary furnishings. The provided breakfast was very good, much better than most hotels. The breakfast staff member was very friendly and professional. She should be commended by the hotel management for her excellent rapport with the guests. I highly recommend this hotel. My only issue was that I discovered that on my next credit card statement that the hotel had incorrectly charged me $25.. The hotel staff immediately refunded the charge when I called to inquire as to the charge. I was also given extra rewards points for the inconvenience.
We stayed here just overnight and wish we could've stayed longer. This hotel is brand new. It's really nice. The front staff was friendly and helpful with all our questions. It was crowded with kids when we were there so the pool/hot tub area was busy until about 10 then it cleared out. But that area is open 24 hrs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. There is also a nice firepit out front that was awesome.
If you are looking for a hotel in Heber, UT stay here! The rooms are very spacious and have a cute charm. The bathroom door looked like a barn door. Just cute little touches that make is feel more than just a regular hotel room. The room was very clean. The breakfast in phenomenal and I cannot say enough about it. Lots of choices, like bacon, eggs (real eggs), potatoes, waffles, pancakes, cereal, bread, yogurt, oatmeal, & pastries. The staff was fabulous! Made sure food was kept full. They offered to take our plates to the trash, refill our drinks, & grab us anything we wanted. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at! We didn't use the pool or the fitness center but were told they are open 24 hours!
Front desk staff was very quick and professional during check in. The room was excellent, very clean and great modern design. This is by far one of the best stays at best western I have had. I highly recommend this hotel whether your stay is for business or leisure.
Very nice hotel. Great staff, the front desk staff and especially Nick. The whole staff was very accommodating and helpful. We wished that we had more Utah trips planned just so that we could stay at this hotel again. Very nice amenities, fire place in lobby, 24-hour indoor pool, spacious rooms. Located across the street from a shopping center with a Walmart. Located close to several food places. Located 20 minutes away from skiing and snowboarding.
This is a beautiful, new, clean, hotel. The lobby is very inviting and we had fun hanging out and playing board games in the evening. They always had complimentary ice water, coffee, tea. and cocoa. My favorite thing about the rooms was the small kitchenette, complete with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee/hot cocoa maker, sink, cupboards, and counter space. The pool had a fun design with little waterfalls going into the pool and the hot tub was easily accessible. The fitness center had some nice equipment and beautiful picture windows to look out at the mountains while we exercised. The breakfast in the morning was very nice and filling complete with eggs, bacon, waffles, sausage, pancakes and many other choices.
Nice new hotel with attentive and friendly staff. Kevin the GM and all his staff made our stay for a week of skiing very easy. Heber is a little out of the way but worth the extra drive. The small town has some great little family owned restaurants. The scenery as you drive north toward the ski resorts is beautiful. During the day the mountains covered in snow are picture perfect. At night the holiday lights keep you entertained and all the curvy and twisty roads through the mountains are fun to drive day or night. Last year we stayed downtown Salt Lake under a layer of smog and pollution they call inversion. It's a nasty yellowish layer of filth that hovers over the greater Salt Lake City area. We decided this year to stay outside they area and breath fresh air. Heber was beautiful and the surrounding snow capped mountains were the postcard perfect backdrop. We intended to ski Park City Deer Valley until we rolled up and saw the lack of snow off the chart crowd factor. We got back in the car and headed to Brighton. The drive was a little extra but once you made the turn off the highway and headed up through the valley to Brighton and Solitude everywhere you looks was a picture perfect backdrop. From Heber to Brighton took 50 minutes each way but we didn't mind the drive. We left after breakfast at the hotel, which was complimentary and great, which gave us time to digest and get ready for the day. Thanks Kevin and crew we'll be back out in February.
felt like home. Aminities were available 24 hrs. We were treated like a super expensive hotel. Breakfast was great. Since it was a new hotel, everything was clean. Near all the major stores. Good parking.
Amazing hotel in a great location with some of the most professional and positive individuals. Everyone was so helpful and courteous. We enjoyed our stay immensely. We would bring our family back here. Very close to many fun things to do too.
Stayed here one night. Check-in was quick. The staff were nice. Place is brand new. Nice rooms, nothing fancy, but very comfortable. Right on the main road, so you will hear some noise, but it's not too bad. A bit expensive during ski season (but much more affordable than the hotels in Park City). Cute town, and a great view from the workout room.
The staff was excellent and very friendly and helpful. Super impressed with them and their overall excellent attitude. The hotel was very nice and obviously a lot of effort is put into keeping it nice and presentable.
Stayed here for a few solo days of skiing before arrival of family for ski trip. Figured I just needed a place to sleep after skiing three days. But it was so much more than that. It is a brand new facility, beautifully done. Spacious rooms, great bed, terrific kitchenette (microwave and refrigerator with stone counter and sink. Lovely bath amenities. Everything spotless. Quiet, super convenient to shops, restaurants, and the cute little town of Heber Valley. Parking is free and easy access. Pretty, large lobby with fireplace and both seating and dining areas. And really such a short drive to Park City Mountain. Also for more suitcases might ask if there are extra luggage support stands. One bench for one suitcase and 4 drawers, but another luggage stand might be helpful for a couple. Will stay in a condo next week as previously arranged, but another year, might just park the family here! Pool and hot tub indoors, haven't even explored that. Probably most important, all staff are unbelievably friendly and helpful--especially after I broke my leg at the end of day two! The breakfast buffet is way above average, and for families there is everything you want--eggs, pancakes and waffles, sausage, bacon, all sorts of add-ins for the eggs-cheese, etc., toast, bagels, breads, yogurts, cereals, juices, fresh fruit and all the coffee and tea options. (Although for the hard core- better to use the coffee expresso pods in the room with minimal water to get an expresso type beverage. Sadly Best Western coffee in my opinion, is for the faint of heart. :) That is my only negative.
Finally the Holiday Inn in Heber has some competiton. The Best Western just opened. Unlike the Holiday Inn, everything works at the best Western. The sheets are actually white and new. The hot water works in the bathrooms and the carpet doesn't look like a herd of elephants has walked over it. Also the Best Western cost was about the same. The hotel is clean and quiet and staff was actually happy to see us. The new hotel is like a breath of fresh air.
Great place to stay with the family. Fair price. Spacious nicely decorated rooms. Brand new hotel. Swimming pool and spa. Good free breakfast. Nice location in Heber. Best Best Western I've stayed in.
It is very kid and pet friendly. We were there with family for a funeral. It was bad weather and I didn't want to drive home in the storm at night. I called them up at last minute and they were able to book me and my grandkids a room. I was so grateful. The staff was so polite and helpful. I would recommend anyone to stay here. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Overall it is a hotel I would stay at every time.
A beautiful hotel with nice large rooms and a warm welcome. Incredible customer service and great attention to detail getting the best room for us from Lora at the front desk! Extra coffee for morning and even treats for the puppy. This hotel is a welcome addition to Heber City bringing quality and class to the valley. Thank you so much for making our holiday stay away from home so comfortable. We'll be back again.
Even though we were not too far from home we decided to stay for a night at the new hotel! We called an hour before we got there and talked to Laura she was very friendly once she answered the phone, she signed me up for the rewards program so I could get an even better deal! When we arrived Laura was at the front desk and was very friendly! We walked into our room and it was by far the nicest hotel room we've ever stayed in!! We took our son for a swim later that night and the pool was pretty neat and family friendly! We definitely will be back for another small getaway! Thanks Laura for making sure we were taken care of!!
Great place to stay at a reasonable price. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Close to many good restaurants.will definitely stay here again.
Hotel was very clean, warm and inviting. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The general manager, Kevin, was as friendly and considestate as one could be. It was also nicely decorated for the Christmas season. We had a wonderful experience here and will definitely be back.
my husband and I was driving through town when we decided to stop and stay at the Best Western the smell was still nice and new everything was tidy and clean the staff was all great all the amenities were available to US 24 hours including the business center and a nice coffee and tea bar the hot complimentary breakfast was great they had a large Variety it was just like the comfort of home. Laura who was working breakfast at the time also helped us at the front desk during our checkout she was very helpful and kind we will definitely be staying here again soon
Our experience at the Best Western Plus in Heber was GREAT! The staff was so friendly and helpful to help with anything and everything we needed. Keaton the front desk manager was awesome and made us feel very welcome!! Overall wonderful experience!
Recently built hotel is in great shape. Reasonable price and reasonable pet fee. Staff was extremely friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Perfect stop. They also offer a hot breakfast in the morning.
This hotel is in a great location, and has only been open since late Oct '17. The pool is small but a lot of fun, the elevators have that new flooring smell, the breakfast is good, and the rooms are comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff who seem to enjoy their jobs. There's tons of development in the area, we're excited to come back in a few years and see what's changed.
From calling in with questions, booking a room, and enjoying the amenities, our stay was great from start to finish. Lora was very knowledgeable, helpful, and accommodating. All of the staff was very pleasant. Our room was perfect, breakfast was way better than I expected, the pool and Hot tub were great, and the rate was an awesome value. We will be back.
I stay here every week for business. I choose to stay here because they give me the best offer on my rooms, not to mention the breakfast is outstanding, If I have to leave earlier for work they send me with a to go bag. Lora at the front desk always greets me with a fresh baked cookie and calls me by first name. all the staff was friendly. The office center was easy to use. I enjoy waking up fresh from a good nights rest on the amazing bed that has not ben broken in yet. All the amenities are available to me 24 hours which is super. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. I rate this place a 10 plus.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly. The office center was easy to use. I had to make copies and didn't even need help. I loved the pool open 24/7( and has a handicap chair), and the Breakfast had everything you need plus. I will totally recommend this place to my friends and look forward to staying again.
Greatly pleased with our stay! Checking in was fast and easy, breakfast was amazing! Our room was clean, comfortable and relaxing. Everybody was friendly. The pool area was fun for the kids. The outdoor fireplace was my favorite. I thought another major plus was the little convenient shopping area for snacks, drinks, forgotten items and the fresh cookies!
Such a wonderful time having our family Christmas party here. We used the meeting room for our party and it worked out very well. We booked 15 rooms and all the families were able to stay the night. The hotel provided the breakfast, that was great. Everyone really loved it!! Thank you to the staff!!
This hotel seems to be well managed. The front desk staff was polite, professional and helpful. The breakfast staff person was excellent, keeping the breakfast area clean and well serviced. The room was very clean and well stocked with linens, soaps, shampoos, etc. The room was very quiet and the bed quite comfortable. I would definitely stay at this hotel, again.
We very seldom receive this very kind of treatment. All of the staff treated us like family. Could not ask for a better place to stay. I can not give a higher recommendation than we will be staying here again!
Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and clean. Breakfast offered a variety of food. I would stay here again. The only thing I didn't like was the sliding bathroom door that offered little privacy. I couldn't see a lock on it. Checkin came with a yummy cookie.
This includes the Homestead and Zermatt. The Suite with full kitchen was incredible. Beautiful furnishings and appliances. Great kitchen for family. The pool is so fun. It's pretty small but warm and the jacuzzi is raised and has 2 waterfalls into the pool that the kids loved. Breakfast is great. So much better than the microwave eggs they serve at the other national hotel in town. The staff is super nice and they seems genuinely excited to have guests staying with them and they seem proud of their new hotel. There is an outdoor fire pit, balconies, a little market and a cool fireplace area in the lobby. Cant say enough good things about the Best Western Plus in Heber City. You will love it here!
We were VERY happy with our stay here! It is new and everything is fresh and clean. Every staff member we encountered was awesome and the breakfast was good! My whole family was very happy with our stay!
I stumbled upon this Best Western when they'd only been open about a week. They didn't show up in my online search, and the place was fairly empty. The room was beautiful and the fitness center/pool was small and basic, but functional. It's located right on main street near lots of food and right across the street from a local diner. They seemed a bit desperate for guests and over-staffed. Everyone was friendly, but I felt "overly-welcomed." A good problem to have. They also have a really cool automatic pancake maker.
This is just what Heber needed. This hotel is amazing! I honestly can't think of one negative thing with my experience. Staff was above and beyond, look and feel of the hotel was amazing. Kevin and Jana were absolutely amazing!!!
This hotel is Amazing!! I usually spend at least 1 night a week in a hotel and this is by far the nicest hotel I have stayed in for a very long time. Brand new Best Western Plus. Very modern with high-end finishing. Welcoming lobby, smells brand new. Beautiful carpet and floor coverings. Nice bedding and bed. Large rooms with lots of storage and room to move around. Large bathrooms and love the barn doors. Really makes you feel like home. I am traveling on business, but I would recommend to friends and family to stay here while vacationing in Park City. Staff was great. Had a great conversation with the Manager Kevin. He made it very inviting and welcoming. They have gone give and beyond any Best Western I have stayed at. Book your next stay for Heber, Park City, Kamas, even Orem/Provo at this beautiful property. You will not be disappointed!!
I was so fortunate to choose this very recently opened BW+ for my first nights stop on a road trip from ABQ to the OR coast. I must comment on the friendly and so helpful staff from Keaton the manager, Kevin and Nick manning the evening hours desk, and a shout out to Carolina, the breakfast room host for being such a kind and caring person who added so much to my pleasant breakfast experience! Also Peggy, in the housekeeping department, reassured me that all would be resolved with a minor accident that I caused to some bedding. Thank you all so much! And I will definitely stay at this beautiful hotel whenever I'm traveling through the very scenic state of Utah!
What a beautiful new upper scale hotel. Would recommend it for anyone staying overnight in Heber City, Utah. Perfect location and easy access of the main highway and side street. Friendly and accommodating staff made us very comfortable for our every needs. Nick at the front desk was very professional and Kevin made our stay very welcoming. Lora at check out was awesome and very sweet. Carolina at the breakfast buffet was wonderful, friendly and very attentive. What a great selection of breakfast food. Even the maids made us feel welcome. Our room was very modern and spacious. Lovely granite tops in the kitchen and the bathroom was very large and well lit. The beds are very comfortable and we enjoyed the huge HD TV. Great view from our window. The lobby was beautiful and also spacious. We will definitely be staying there when we visit Heber City again!
Amazing Hotel! I have stayed at several of the other properties in Heber and this by far is the nicest place! In all honesty, I stayed one of the first days they were opened so of course everything would feel nice and new, but outside of the beautiful facility was the staff. The staff were all courteous and very attentive. Even though they had only been open for two or three days, everyone seemed well trained and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. I am excited to have such a great place to stay for now on when I am in Heber.
This hotel is awesome! It's brand new so everything is super clean. Staff was incredibly friendly. Breakfast was awesome with tons to choose from. They even have an outdoor gas fire pit that we sat around at night. So fun. We'll be back!
This is easily the nicest, newest and most comfortable place to stay in the Heber Valley. I would recommend to any and everyone I know that plans to stay in Heber. The views are as good as they get as well!
This new Best Western Plus is top notch!!!! The Hotel staff is super attentive to details and customer service!!! You will leave feeling like family! As you would expect from a brand new Hotel the finishes are Awesome and SO clean! Love the smells of fresh carpet and paint! :) But for real this is just what Heber needed and will be a great option for any stay!!!
