Best Western Hotel Der Foehrenhof

The property is more like a motel and situated outside the city centre. There is a S- Bahn station right outside the hotel and trains run every 10 minutes to the Hauptbahnhof. It takes around 30 minutes of travel to reach the centre and of you are a participant of Messe Hannover, it takes an hour to reach the fairgrounds. The hotel was well kept and has no frills. The breakfast was good and wide variety, but suffices the need. The surroundings are quite silent and peaceful. Had good nights sleep for both the nights I stayed here. Would recommend it to my fellow travelers

Stayed one night for business and booked via Expedia. Hotel facilities matched the write-ups and pictures: pristine decor and warm service on the front desk. Arrived within 5 minutes of the restaurant closing but the staff were happy to cook up an omelette and fries when all other guests had left. The whole place has a very comfortable and well-appointed feel, unlike many other hotels in the same franchise.

I chose this hotel for an overnight stop over while driving from the UK to Poland. Its perfectly located, only two minutes from the autobahn. I cant fault the hotel, it was very clean and functional and we all had a great nights sleep. A four star review would have been given had it not been for us only being told about the car park charge when checking out.

Very comfortable stay for business. this hotel was booked because of its proximity for a business meeting and is some way outside of the city centre. However, the no 3 tram stop is right outside for very easy access with a tram every 9 minutes. Staff were all polite and efficient, I had a basic single room which was fine for the limited time I spent in it. Very clean and facilities in room (tea/coffee, trouser press) were fine. Breakfast was adequate. just had one late night drink in reception with colleagues. Late check in / early check out no problem. I would certainly stay here again.

The hotel is an excellent choice for events like family parties, weddings or company gatherings. The team is great and organized a lot for us. Everybody was very friendly, polite and helpful (also the night concierge). The hotel has very nice facilities to accommodate up to 80 people. In particular the large room (80 people), foyer, garden and terrace area are very pretty. The food is excellent (restaurant as well as "banquette"). And the rooms are comfortable, tidy and of decent size. It is a quiet location in the north east of Hannover, free parking is available, the hotel is easy to reach from highway A2 and by public transport as well (subway S3). The prices are very okay. We enjoyed the stay a lot! And we would definitely recommend it for events for up to 80 people, but also for visitors to Hannover who like to have a quiet hotel and still a quick connection to the city center.

This hotel has a number of great attributes. It is right on the S3 line so getting into Hannover is very convienient. It is in an area with lots of walking paths so outdoor exercise is an option. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The onsite restaurant was good, even attracting locals who seemed to be in the majority at dinner time. It is an event venue so there was more activity with parties than some hotels. The noise from the large groups ended early in the evening so it wasn't an issue for me. The hotel seemed to be pretty kid-friendly. I arrived by car and was glad to see there was plenty of free parking. It was easy to find and easy to get to from the freeway. The room was small by US standards but about average for Germany.

We were staying at the Mercure down the road but the restaurant wasn't great so Trip Adviser reviews recommended the Best Western and it didn't disappoint, it was great, lovely décor, super friendly service, really great meal, can't wait to return.

Der Foehrenhof hotel is budget priced, reasonable but with nothing special. It is away from the city center but there is a metro stop only 50 meters from the hotel. The breakfast choices are satisfactory. We dined in the hotel restaurant which was satisfactory. I would recommend if you are only staying overnight.

I would be hard pressed to find any fault in our stay at this hotel. The navigation instructions were Faultless. The carparking space was more than adequate. The Reception area was Faultless. The Receptionist was lovely, friendly, helpful e.g. Faultless. The bedroom was immaculate - no chipped paintwork, no scratches, scuffs etc., the bathroom spotless Faultless. The Breakfast was served on pleasant matching chinaware and the choice was, to use an oft used word FAULTLESS. If you want accommodation in the Hannover area, opposite a 4-times per hour tram service into the centre of the city, this is the obvious choice. We really could not fault the staff, from the cleaner, to the front of house receptionist to the management team.

Modern, clean accommodations, nice shower, free parking, easy access to autobahn A2, excellent restaurant, quiet location - what more is there to say. Oh yes ,the English speaking receptionist was very accommodating. When asked for a pair of scissors, she readily loaned a pair.

This hotel was very clean with updated rooms. There was plenty of parking and the internet connection was very good. Unusual for a German hotel, there was free coffee and tea in the lobby. The restaurant had a high class decor. The breakfast was good, but the 15 EUR seemed a bit much. The staff were friendly and my request for an iron and ironing board was responded to quickly. I would stay at this hotel again if visiting Hannover in the future.

I liked the service, the restaurant and the atmosphere at that hotel. It is very good both for business trip and for tsay with your family. When I asked for an iron it was in my room in 5 minutes. You also may ask for a tea to your room in the evening. Dinners were especialy delicious in the hotel's restaurant. We took one colleague who lived in another hotel to eat out with us to try that delicious food.

As a frequent traveler for business I stay at many hotels throughout the world and my two-week stay at the Foehrenhof was an excellent experience. Great staff, clean and comfortable with a very good restaurant. Free Internet is a plus and very good location.
