Best Western Plus Hotel Goulburn, Goulburn

Huge room and courtyard.. Great to walk into a spacious place after a day on the road and just relax..... The deep bath helped with this and the comfy bed.. The staff were very helpful even though we came in quite late

We booked this hotel at the last minute on our travel home. It was great to be able to book directly and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were very well appointed and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff were helpful at all times and we were greeted with a warm hello I would go back to Goulburn just to have a weekend to enjoy the comfort of the room, spa and fluffy pillows! I look forward to the Reno's being complete so we could have dinner on site Well worth booking

This motel has always been good and it just keeps getting better,Vicki and Wayne took it over many years ago and have turned it, (in my humble opinion)into one of the best motels in Australia.I stayed often before I retired and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Great hotel for a stop over and for a longer term stay if looking to explore the Goulburn area. Prompt check in. Good sized rooms and well appointed. Pillows & Bed were fantastic after a day driving. Easy to get into and out of but no traffic noise from the road.

We stayed for one night as a stopover in a long trip. The room had to large double beds, a modern bathroom and a small kitchen. Everything was clean and presented well. The kids loved the bath and all slept well as the beds were comfortable. Our only negative would be that the air conditioning unit was quite loud. We would definitely recommend this motel and will stay again next time we are in the area.

First impression is that the rooms were very clean and the bed was really comfy. Location wise the Best Western is an easy, flat, 10 minute walk into town which was perfect to stretch the legs after a long drive.

The transportation is very convenient, the room is very spacious, the facilities are great, and the staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. Very close to the commercial street, shopping and eating are very convenient. highly recommended

Lovely rooms, friendly staff, close to everything you need. We found the bds to be extremely comfortable, and the rooms were very spacious and clean. We loved that there is a stove top so we could cook instead of costing us money for takeout.

Exactly what we needed for our stopover on the way home to Newcastle from Melbourne. Clean and comfortable with lots of space in the room. We had the family room which had four single beds upstairs so our kids took their pick. No arguments! Thanks

Great central location walking distance to shops. We stayed in a split level suite which was perfect for a young family. Kitchenette with fridge, sink and microwave was also very handy. Staff were super friendly.

Our room was better than expected. Newly renovated, clean and comfortable lovely bed and pillows Quiet area. Plenty of parking. Easy check in and out. Lovely friendly staff, and great breakfast. Fresh fruit

We had an overnight stay on our way to Sydney and had good service and good accommodation The place was well located and was walking distance from the centre of town I made the booking via AirBnB but served by Best Western personnel at their reception

Stop over night on our family Xmas pilgrimage was made very comfortable with comfy beds, ample space in the room (Queen Studio) for two adults and two kids and a delicious late dinner in the attached restaurant (Cascades). Super friendly staff topped off our visit.

The room is clean and fully equipped including the kitchen. We liked the TV as it has chromecast and we can stream from our phone and cast it. Our room was on the ground floor and parking was accessible. Checking in and out was also quick and easy. Will come back again.

I stay in a lot of hotels in Australia and overseas for work and the rooms and service here rival the best 4 and 5 star ooom anywhere. The service is fantastic, exactly what you think of in the country and the room facilities are perfect. We have been so pleased with staying here.

Amazing family room. One of the very best. This sets a new standard for motels in Australia. The room is like a resort room in Asia. Spacious, great beds. Well designed & modern. Oven, microwave, dishwasher, small bar fridge and a big fridge too. I could live here. I might.

My large room was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Everything worked as it should. The bed was especially comfortable. Service was good. Dinner in the restaurant was of a high standard. I could park very close to my room. The motel is not far from the CBD.

The rooms are always very comfortable and Clean, this is always my preferred motel in Goulburn. Smart TV, dishwasher, air conditioner office station and both bath and seperate shower are all standard in my room. I will certainly stay here when I need accommodation in Goulburn again.

5brm house was perfect for our family needs the beds were so comfortable as was the couch, it was very clean and a lovely large home with everything included for a wonderful stay. Mum had the best sleep all holiday in the super comfortable king bed

Firstly I have to commend the helpful, friendly staff. We arrived to find we had a room with stairs (which we find hard to manage now) but were quickly transferred to another room which was everything you could wish for. We only stayed overnight but with all the facilities (oven, fridge, microwave etc) you would be comfortable staying for a lot longer. It was quiet, very comfy bed, good shower and extremely clean. We were also assisted in the parking of our small trailer - really nothing seemed too much trouble. Also enjoyed a lovely meal in their onsite restaurant, Cascades

We only stayed one night, one night too many. The room smelt so bad how could anybody sleep. The room smelt of smoke. The guy staying in the room next door just stood at his door and smoked cigarettes all the time. Bathrooms need upgrading, cost of the room was not cheap at all Rate was $190.00 for the night

Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Goulburn. Convenient, quiet and clean. Loved having a restaurant onsite so we didn't have to go anywhere after our day at the races. Plenty of space and heaps in the way of amenities!

Great stop on our family road trip from the Gold Coast back to Melbourne. Large room with two king size beds, a small kitchenette and sofa. Plenty of room to accommodate our family of 4 for the night. The extremely trustworthy and helpful staff contacted us regarding our sons Fitbit which he left behind in the room and promptly sent it to us in the post.

Home away from home. One night stopover on our way to Canberra. Very peaceful location. Clean and spacious home. Only issue was the hot water ran low at night when attempting to take a shower for some reason. It might be due to the hot water tank running low from previous guests as we certainly did not use much hot water after we arrived. Left this feedback with reception when checking out. Apart from that the home was perfect for our needs.

Great amenities, parking was outdoor so no issue for our tall vehicle. Very clean and spacious, and our room had a nice view of the war memorial monument on the hill. We booked the 2 bedroom which was up a set of internal stairs, then it was split level within the apartment. Stairs quite steep but all in all was a lovely stay, very quiet.

I was traveling from Newcastle to Canberra and needed to stay in Goulburn for business, The road was taxing due to the heavy rain. I thought of the best Western and so i phone them for a room., They are always friendly and accommodated my wishes for a downstairs room, due to me carting my work gear laptop, printer etc etc. The lovely feeling of being in a warm clean room was great after the long rainy trip. The lunge was comfortable and they always have a small desk set up at the windows to work on.

A exceptionally presented room. It was spotless, spacious and having 2 levels created a great space for the kids to unwind answell as the adults. The marble bathroom with waterfall tap was a hit! The beds were super comfortable made to perfection with plenty of towels, and extras! We usualy stay at resorts but needed a one night break and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of our room. Would stay again!

We loved our stay my daughters enjoy the room . The service was exceptional and the room was very clean and tidy the bathroom was beautifully renovated and nice big bath I would definitely recommend this to others

Was very very nice with amazing comfort.. reception ladies were so easy to deal with and accommodating..shower, beds, Court yard and kitchenette were all perfect for our short stay.. price was competitive for the star rating.. very impressed

King spa suite was spacious, comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable, the spa was relaxing and water temp was amazing, with the booking process all smooth. Staff very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and will definitely return when in Goulburn..

just stayed the one night whilst travelling from Melbourne to Brisbane. Was great to have the restaurant on site, for a nourishing meal and an early night, before and early start the following morning.

We stayed in one of the apartments and it's was awesome.. Fit two families perfect and room upstairs for the kids.. Rooms were clean the internet was great and restaurant was awesome.. Great and friendly staff..

Loved our stay. We had a 2 storey spacious 2br apartment for a couple and adult son. And the same price as some of the lamest motor inns where we were jammed in together at locations on our long drive to the Snowy Mountains. We got a kitchenette, including a dishwasher and full fridge a modern bathroom and cloudy comfy beds. A smart TV, free wifi, and a full restaurant. The staff are lovely and there early and late. Well done Best Western Plus, Goulburn.

We stayed in a larger room and were very comfortable. There was plenty of space and the kitchenette was well equipped. The extra space makes it easy for people with mobility issues to stay there. The signage is easy to miss so we had to go around the block but that is a minor inconvenience. The Wi-Fi was very good.

Great room, tidy and clean. The bath was a great bonus! We loved our visit. Even with two queen beds, the room was still huge. The kitchenette had everything we needed. The small courtyard would be great for the warmer weather. We will be back!

I have stayed at this motel previously a couple of times over thirty odd years. So returned for a night on trip back from Melbourne, Although we had one of the older rooms still comfortable. Meal in restaurant well above expectations. Not often that you can get Gluten Free Fish and Chips! Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Been staying here for year, its our choice hotel when we visit Goulburn to use Wakefield Park and Pheasants Wood race tracks. Always friendly check-in staff. Rooms are huge and beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are generous, some even have baths or a spa! Double glazed windows means you dont need to use the heating the whole time, even in below 10 degree temps. Plenty of parking for cars with trailers and rarely hear any noise from outside or other guests.

As usual the best motel on our annual migration to QLD great room very well equipped, microwave, toaster all the usual. Makes it so much easier at breakfast for us with food allergies. The king size bed is as good if not better than the one at home

Very professional service and polite and helpful room was very clean staff helpful offered options for dining as thirs was closed due to covid convenient to shopping area to pick up essentials we left a phone charger in the room and to get that sent back was to be a very difficult exercise for the staff so we decided to just let it go and buy a new one Thank you

Was expecting a typical room with a Bed, and Table and 1 Chair. Never stayed at a PLUS Before. Room was excellent, very clean, well equipped, modern. Everything in the room was first class, and the staff we approachable and helpful. Much more than I expected. Well done all round. For a country town this motel totally exceeded my expectations, and I regularly stay at Major City Hotels around the country.

Very comfortable, spacious, quiet, friendly and has a restaurant that delivers to your door! Highly recommend the 2 bedroom king room, with sofa bed in lounge if required, bedrooms are up stairs (very safe) and the lounge room, on the lower level, is huge! The only draw back with this room is there is only 1 toilet and its down stairs, so cross your legs!

The room was comfortable, warm, and very spacious and clean. I had the king loft room where the living areas were downstairs and the king bed and wardrobe and a lounge and large TV were upstairs. Downstairs had a TV, bathroom with shower and spa, small bar with sink and tea and coffee and fridge. There was also a table for eating and table and chair for office work. All round everything you would need.

Great motel to stay at when on the road. The room was very spacious and clean. It had a great bathroom and kitchenette, plus a little courtyard. The heating was a little hot but easy to turn off and also great for anyone who doesn't like the winter cold. The reception stayed open late for us and were very accommodating as well.

Hairs wrapped around bath jets, heater didn't work properly so kept having to move downstairs in front of the one that did to get warm as it was 4 degrees. Bedding/spare bedding not clean and the food is too expensive to bother. Only nice part was the staff, they were lovely.

The Best Western is a beautiful spot to stay when visiting Goulburn. The room service was so quick, and soooo tasty, followed by a spa....I slept like a log! I HIGHLY recommend you stay there too! The staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable too.

Amazing customer service from booking through to check out. Gorgeous, clean room, perfect for weekend get away. Delicious meals from restaurant with prompt room service. I have a registered assistant dog and felt completely welcomed, while other venues I tried to book with had been discriminatory. Highly recommended.

The new wing is a significant surprise in comfort and amenities, the host team were very professional and friendly. Our room access was protected from the elements and vehicle noise via an air conditioned foyer.

Great pace to stay in Goulburn ^ would defibately stay ther again. Rooms were spacious with king beds & large bathroom area and very deep bath. Good space in shower area & in the room we staued had office desk & chair. All very good.

A work trip that was like most others, arrive and book in, to my surprise the staff were very welcoming and they gave a real sense of personal service. Facilities were excellent and extremely comfortable. Definitely worth another stay next time I'm in town.

We booked this from the Hotel Website and we booked a Spa room as we do enjoy a few Luxuries . At check in we were greeted by the very Friendly receptionist . She informed us that we had been given an upgrade . We thanked her while she proceeded with the Check in . I casually asked if the Up grade included a Spa . We were informed that it did not but the Room would be Bigger . I told her that we would like a Spa that we had Booked . It took a few minutes but eventually we received the Keys to our Room. The Room we booked was a King Loft Room with Spa . On entering our room , there was a small Lounge Room with a good size Flat Screen TV . 2 Arm Chairs , an Ottoman and a Work Desk. Stairs leading up to the Bedroom . A sink , Microwave and 2 Fridges . The Larger Fridge contained an Automated Mini Bar . This works so that if you remove any thing from the Fridge you are Automatically Charged to your Credit Card . There is a Sign inside to this effect . The 2 nd Fridge contain Milk and an Ice Maker . There was a Sliding Glass Door to the Bathroom . The Spa was a Small 3 corner Spa . A bench with a Washbasin . And a Toilet with soft Closing Seat & Lid . The Bathroom did Feel Cramped and the Lounge was also quite Compact . Upstairs there was a bit more room to Move . The King Bed was comfortable . The Smart TV took a bit of understanding how to use it as there was no Compendium in the Room . Also , although they had an onsite Bar & Restaurant there was nothing in the Room to indicate that you could order Room Service or Breakfast . or even a Menu . We felt there was no welcoming features available and Guest are left to work things out for them selves . It could be so much better with a few changes and having Guest information in the Room is vital but this seems to have been overlooked .

We had great service for breakfast in the restaurant and room service for dinner. Minestrone soup was delicious and breakfast was appetising.and well presented. Bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed a movie on the TV.

We always stay at this motel when we are in Goulburn. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. The rooms are a good size and are very clean. The motel is less than a kilometre from the main street. This motel has expanded over the years but hasn't lost the personal touch. I highly recommend this motel

We need a 2 bedroom apartment and the motel was able to accommodate us at a quite reasonable price. The rooms were modern, clean & spacious with all the necessary amenities supplied. The beds are super comfy and the showers were modern a delight. Our rooms were at the back of the motel so noise was not an issue. The café for breakfast was brilliant and who can't go a bacon & egg roll for $7 or a big country breakfast for $18

This no-nonsense room was comfortable and clean with easy checkin and checkout processes. Staff were helpful on the phone and also helped with our Stay NSW vouchers. We travelled late at night from Sydney to Goulburn and left early in the morning to go to work in Canberra and didn't have a single problem.

Awful experience. Extremely poor communication. Very unwelcoming. Extremely poor customer service. Emma was rude and arrogant. When I escalated to Vickie the General Manager, Vickie was not open to listening and had preconceived ideas and wrong facts. Vickie also had the same rude and arrogant attitude to offer cancelation rather than listening to and resolving what took place. I would have absolutely cancelled and not stayed if I had another choice being a last minute reservation. Also the property is not nearly as new and clean as shown in the pictures. Since the staff could not care about providing decent service, answering this review would be only because their ratings would be impacted not because they care. Even at check out, I handed the keys back to Vickie, there was not even the common courtesy of asking how our stay was demonstrating the same zero care factor.

As a family we travel alot and have stayed in may different place. We had a family room that was amazing. The kids were upstairs in their own space and loved it. I was very comfortable, spacious and we will definitely stay again.

Room was clean and serviced daily which was fantastic. Some of the furniture a bit dated but it appears they may be going through renovations as parts of the bathroom were modern and updated. The air condition in our room wasn't working properly, and blew back warm & stuffy air. However we could open the windows & let fresh air in. Staff were professional & friendly. The dining area modern & fresh and food was great too. They advertised happy hour with $5 drinks and free canopies but this is only for wine and beer and not spirits. That wasn't specified in the advert, so don't get caught out. Altogether our stay was comfortable, if it hadn't been for the air-conditioning problem I would've rated it higher.

Always a friendly welcome, rooms are always clean and immaculate Restaurant is wonderful and food has never disappointed and they have refurbished the restaurant so is wonderful, clean and fresh Love staying at the Best Western Goulburn. Can not fault them on anything.

The Motel was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed at and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was good size, bed was extremely comfortable. Kitchenette had everything you needed. The bathroom was very clean with both huge bath and shower. The restaurant had amazing food at good prices and again staff were very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend the Motel to family and friends.

Needed a night away from all the craziness at home. Not wanting to go too far away ,Goulburn was the winner. Less than a 2hr drive .We stopped at the war museum before checking in. Alot of history to take in. Checked in at 2pm . A lovely lady greeted us and organised our swipe cards and let us know about the free canapes between 5 and 6pm at Cascades restaurant .We booked a 2 bedroom loft apartment. Loved the kitchen and balcony.The heating was great in every room. There was a wall mounted TV in every room. Nice deep bath and big shower with great water pressure .Beds were super comfy. Everything was perfect . We had room service for dinner and breakfast from the on site restaurant (Cascades) and food was so good and not expensive. The meals were delivered fast and by friendly staff. Will definitely be staying again 10/10

We stayed overnight during a road trip from Melbourne to Brisbane and found the hotel the perfect place to stop in the middle. The room with the upstairs area for the kids was perfect and extremely spacious. Beds were comfortable and the kitchenette had everything we needed. We used the Tesla charger also with no issues.

Good big room with full kitchenette, clean and cafe/restaurant good food at good price. Easy parking and close to city centre. The staff were very helpful and service very good. Good Wi-Fi connection.

The hotel in general was very comfortable and clean. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming upon arrival. The hotel is EV friendly so you can charge your car overnight. I will stay again next time we go on holidays. The hotel has a restaurant on site and the meals are good value I recommend having the grilled barramundi with vegetables.

What can I say but we loved it. Fully self contained room with a small court yard (although we didn't need to use it as it was just an overnight stay where we could sleep ) The room was Extremely clean, the bed was super comfortable with crisp fresh linen, fully stocked mini bar at reasonable prices and free onsite parking. Friendly staff, beautiful room, spotlessly clean!! Booked direct. Stylish decor. Stayed during a torrential downpour - Samantha was outstanding - whole car park was flooding under water coming under doors - Sam was racing around putting towels under doors which avoided a massive drama and rooms being unusable. The room exceeded our expectations, it was quiet and comfortable and had all the facilities we needed to make us feel at home. The split level provided opportunity for individual requirements to be met.

Yet again great service beautiful food and friendly staff. Travelling for sporting commitments or family this is the place to stay in Goulburn! Rooms are spacious, whether you order room service or dine in the food is sensational but what tops the stay is not just the reasonable price it's the fantastic staff!

Room was great, didn't walk down the street as it was raining but just a short drive to the shops and cafes. Rooms were good, nice beds and good quality inclusions, plus free bottled water. Nice little verandah, staff were very helpful and rooms were serviced daily.

We stayed in a 3BR room which really exceeded our expectations. It was so BIG and very comfortable, modern and clean. Perfect after a long drive and with 3 young children. The staff were really warm and welcoming, meals in the restaurant were fresh and delicious, there is a playroom in the restaurant which children enjoyed. We'll be back.

Love this place, we travel for business regularly and have tried out a lot of hotels but we have settled on this one when we are in Goulburn we wont be staying anywhere else nothing can beat it on service and comfort and the excellent resturant

Great place to stay, friendly staff great service, relaxing atmosphere, the town still has that old regional vibe, much to do and see, accommodation was clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful, had a great time and would recommend it to anyone

Definately would recommend the Best Western in Goulburn. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was very nice and also very clean. It was a great price as well. I couldn't see any better place especially value for money except here. Will definately return.

2nd time in a King Loft suite which is spacious and comfortable. The property is on the main road but due to the property layout it was very quiet. Spa bath is a bonus. Park at your door - very handy, especially during a pandemic.

We come to Goulburn at least once a year and we always stay at The Best Western. They have a great range of accomodation, we have stayed in their houses and apartments. Always happy. The bed, sheet pillows are great and the 3 bedroom house we had this time had bath sheets, (instead of just towels) which I love. The staff are friendly and breakfast is such great value. We will be back.

Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly. Great renovated modern rooms. Central location, close to town, walking distance to main shopping centre. Kitchen called to say breakfast on its way - good service.

Comfortable bed Clean tidy room Staff in reception were super friendly & lovely Loved that we could stream our phones to the TV & was easy to delete our phones from the TV Close to everything in town Great stay!

We try to stay Best Western wherever we go, especially overseas. Goulburn Best Western is the nicest room yet. The bed was perfect, the ensuite very newly renovated , and the little private courtyard ideal. Best value for money ever!

The room was clean, well maintained and spacious. Receptionist and bar staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful and happy. We have a large vehicle access and parking was no problem. It was a nice touch to have delicious free canapés with our drinks at happy hour.

It is halfway from Melbourne to Coffs Harbour where we go for an annual holiday, so looking for a good night's sleep. Friendly staff, clean room, great restaurant. Comfortable bed and pillows (which is a godsend). We feel refreshed for the next stage of the trip.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Great to have air-con, TV and desk in each bedroom. Bathroom amenities were high quality, and free water & bikkies were nice touches. Staff were very professional and welcoming. Having a single bathroom downstairs may be challenging for some residents, but trust other room options available if an issue.

We had a great stay at Goulburn Best Western. The room was lovely and a very comfortable bed. My only complaint is the lack of a recycling bin on the property. I asked one of the cleaning staff if there was one available and she said there was not. Pretty disappointing in this day and age.

Hi Julie, Thank you for the great review. Obviously, I will have to train our Housekeepers better. Yes, we do recycle. We have General waste. Cardboard and paper and glass and plastic. You may have noticed that our rooves are almost entirely covered with solar panels. We generate a large proportion of our own electricity.

I booked 2 rooms last minute for my mum and my sister - my mum needing an accessibility room. Vicki on the desk found 2 rooms next to each other and had then ready to go in no time. The customer service was terrific.

Warm rooms. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Some plates and cups dirty and could of done with some more kitchen utensils. Couch could do with an upgrade. Couldn't hear other guests, which is a bonus. Overall very good hotel. Would stay again if in the area

We stayed overnight on our way south. The receptionist gave us a discount on room to encourage us to stay. In the room the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the shower was amazing. One of the few motels we have stayed in where you can Chromecast your phone or watch Netflix, Stan etc. Then we had dinner and breakfast there and the food was amazing. The Chef on a Thursday night must be very good. Both meals for my wife and I both dinner and breakfast were very good. So for a small discount ( $20 ) we spent another $130 on food and stayed there again on our way home the very next night.

We made a last minute booking for a family of five and were extremely happy with our room. There was a huge loft area for the kids. The room was enormous, very clean and modern. Great value for the price and definitely exceeded our expectations.

We spent three nights in a 3 bedroom apartment, which was larger than expected, well appointed and very comfortable. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms were well separated. The biggest surprise on the upside was the quality of the room service. We had plenty of room service meals, all of them were really delicious! The staff were friendly and accomodating - all round a good experience!

We stayed here in a 3 bed apartment, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The in room dining was really really delicious, quick , hot and restaurant quality. We had a room that fronts the highway but could not hear the road noise. Highly recommended.

I booked this room on route to Goulburn using trip advisor as a guide so thanks to those who provide feedback. We only needed an overnight stay. The room was spacious for a morel room, plenty of space for cases etc. our room had 2 queen beds (for 3 hours of us) , a fully appointed kitchenette and a spacious bathroom with a deep and lovely bath. Very clean and fresh. I liked the passage in front of the room doors which meant we were accessing the room from a warm undercover passage not directly from the car park. There seemed to be some construction in the car park which it made it a little congested and tight but I assume that's temporary. It met all our needs I'd definitely stay again.

Room was fantastic, great value for money, clean and spacious!! Bed was comfy and the chairs were too!! Breakfast at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and the big breakfast was BIG. Staff were so lovely and helpful.

Our last stop over after a 14 day country trip we were pleasantly surprised at the high standard of this motel. From the front door thru to the bathroom it was style and class. Having a large bath plus shower and lighting/ heating in the bathroom was perfect. The size of the fridge, a kitchen sink plus toaster and jug made the stay on a cold night comfortable for a stay in dinner. Ideal for travelling couple, work or easy weekend away in Goulburn and surrounds.

PERFECT family room which accommodated our family of 7. Kids room had 4 single beds, TV and bean bags. Another room with queen bed and TV and 3rd room with King bed, lounge and full kitchen. Everyone had their own space and bedding which created a perfect restful sleeping environment. Super clean and very friendly staff. BONUS KIDS STAY FREE!!! We cant wait to go back again.

We had to have an emergency over night stop in Goulburn. A very pleasant stay. Large clean room. Friendly staff and a bonus was the Tesla destination charger. The restaurant was also quite good. Also there was no road noise. We would highly recommend.

After reading the reviews online booked this motel. Well the first impressions was in was undergoing renovations, the building opposite our room was half knocked down with mesh fences. At reception they were not ready for our room so we were moved. We had the room with the disabled bathroom. The room had that fresh cement smell. The room was tidy, bed nice, plenty of pillows, bathroom huge, huge smart tv, free wifi, a kitchenette. When the door to the courtyard was open you could hear traffic noise, closed it was quiet. It was on the outskirts of town. We tried the restaurant once and would not return due to a particular staff member who was rude while offering poor service. The food was very average. Overall some pluses and some minuses.

Stayed here for one night as we were just passing through. Busy place which was a good sign. Bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing, spacious and great pressure. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast, not many options but they do a good chocolate milkshake.

Two upstairs bedrooms a good size, all the essentials for the kitchen, good size lounge/dining, great bathroom and handy balcony. Happy Hour great and good choice of dining options. A little way to main shopping area, but not considered an inconvenience.

Very easy to deal with and a lovely and large room. Free water and very cozy bed. The manager went out of his way to help me when I left a bottle of wine in the freezer. He kindly went to the room for me and removed from the freezer to save the bottle.

Stayed 2 nights in a king room Very satisfied with the quality., cleanliness and space. Accidentally locked my keycard in the room when returning from a late night function and it was not a problem. Breakfast was also good.

The property is on the main road but we found it to be quiet as the rooms are at the rear. The reception was very friendly and helpful. The king loft room was very comfortable for a motel-style property, with separate living downstairs and a lounge upstairs in the bedroom. The stairs up to the bed loft are very steep. Kitchenette facilities are minimal - microwave and small fridge and jug. No bowls if you wanted to BYO cereal. The bathroom is nicely renovated with a shower over the spa bath. Restaurant onsite is closed on Sundays but reception can provide a small range of hot meals to the room. Overall a good property, we would return.

All the Best Western Staff in Goulburn are friendly and helpful. We spent only the one night and wish it was longer. The Breakfast and night meals in the restaurant where excellent and presented perfectly.

nice large rooms fantastic for a family , with very comfortable beds . Motel was in the middle of major upgrades so the pool was missing and the resturant was closed . But overall very comfortable stay . Looking forward to when all the upgrades are completed - it will make for an even better stay

Spacious, clean, quiet, modern and a well appointed kitchenette A perfect place to break up a long trip or could be used as a base for day trips. Comfy beds and pillows. Large bathroom. Parking convenient. Friendly helpful staff, we arrived late but were offered a meal if required.

Fast check in and out, clean room with all you need in great location. Stairs are steep so get ground floor if an issue in climbing an issue. Beds comfortable and spacy. Bathroom needs better ventilation.

Stayed here for one night. I usually stay at another motel (which also used to be a Best Western) down near the Big Marino. Reception was friendly and quick. I'd booked a spa suite to see what it was like. For $162, it was average. Yes, the bed was comfortable and the place is quiet. As the bedroom is upstairs, you need to go downstairs if you need to use the bathroom. There is no en suite. Room was very clean. The dinner menu selection was not all that inspiring, so I went down the road to the Blue Plate Restaurant and the dinner was very good. A light breakfast was $17. All in all, an average stay with friendly staff, but probably not worth the price paid.

Although this property is starting to show its age it is comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant serves good meals, early start for breakfast appreciated. Airconditioning worked well on a cool night. Partial gravel driveway area needs sealing.

The beds are super comfy and the rooms are nice and dark if you can manage a little sleep in. Free Canapes during happy hour are always fresh and delicious.

We would like to acknowledge David, he has bent over backwards for us. After hours of attempting to find an overnight stay for us as we were traveling from Melbourne to get home to Brisbane. Weve been driving for hours and it was nearing night time so we needed a place to stay and we literally tried everywhere and also other nearby suburbs and no one had answered nor replied to us and for obvious reasons... we were calling hotels and motels and caravan parks between the hours of 5-9pm. luckily we found Best Western Plus in Goulburn and David took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. David got our phone call, and literally made it so easy for us. Even made space in his staff parking area for our big enclosed car trailer to stay over night safely. What a guy. The hotel was so clean and neat, our room was spotless and had everything we needed! The kids loved it. I loved it. Will definitely be back here again, and actually cant wait to go back this year! What a superb town and hotel. p.s... the BEDS. ohhhh the bedsssss! We had the BEST SLEEP!

Covid Safe ... TICK .... The cleaning was excellent in our room. The service was very friendly with the dining room very clean and the food as good as it gets. Coffee just a pass but it was a pass. Bathroom was excellent as well.

Great overnite stay with upgrade to deluxe room. Friendly staff on arrival at reception, comfortable bed, and clean facility. Negative was power point to air conditioner was lit up light a Christmas tree all night, but understand also, that maybe it was a safety feature and it served the purpose as a night light to the bathroom facilities downstairs. Otherwise, all in all, very happy with our stay.

Friendly staff, very comfortable accommodation & excellent restaurant for fab dinner and filling breakfast. Slept really well and the shower has fantastic pressure. The kitchenette was very clean and tidy with everything needed for an overnight stay or longer.

Very spacious 2 bed apartment, clean, great bathroom which was more like a luxury hotel. A little bit strange that the bedrooms had key card locks on them as we were concerned our child might lock themselves in but no real issue as long as we kept the key with us. Breakfast choices were tasty. Will happily stay again

When looking to stay somewhere in Goulburn, this place caught our eye. The loft apartments really looked good in the ads so we decided to give them a go. Upon arrival, not everything was as great as we had hoped. The room was much smaller than we had seen advertised online - however, it was very clean and comfortable. And it had a massive bathroom!! The living space downstairs was barely big enough to swing a cat, to be honest. It was very cramped for 3 people. There is a desk and office chair in one corner and two armchairs on another wall. . And the armchairs were a weird choice - two hard chairs that weren't comfortable to sit in for more than half an hour. In fact, each morning, I sat in the office chair to read. It was far more comfortable. The little kitchenette was, well, little. Situated under the stairs to the loft, there is a bench with a fridge underneath. Very awkward to use the sink, especially to refill the kettle, in such a small space. The bathroom, on the other hand, was really big. A spa bath with shower, double hand basins, and a toilet - the room was probably 15 feet long. Maybe more. A huge mirror that ran the length of the room as well. It was quite stunning when compared to the pokey living room. Upstairs, the sleeping arrangements were very good also. A very comfortable bed with fresh linen was a blessing. We have been to some places with some below-average beds/bedding but this was a very pleasant sleeping experience. Even the fold-out sofa that our daughter slept on must have been pretty good as she didn't wake up early at all!! That's a good thing. There is a heap of space upstairs for luggage, there is a TV on the wall as well. Nice sized window to allow light and fresh air into the room. The lady in reception was quite helpful, the cleaners were very polite and got their jobs done with minimal fuss. In review - we really enjoyed our sleeping arrangements (and, let's face it, that's really all we need at a motel) and our bathing/cleanliness options. The living space was quite a letdown for a family of 3. Would we be back? Certainly, but we would just find a room with a bigger living space (if they exist!)

Great size room. I love the seating in the room, it's nice to have a seat you can watch TV in that's nice and comfy. Surprised to see a kitchen sink, which means you don't have to fill the kettle in the bathroom. Also has toaster and microwave. Nice comfy bed and very clean room We will come back again!

Excellent as always, I've stayed here by myself on numerous occasions, I have also stayed here with my partner. Clean rooms, excellent service, and the meals in the restaurant are delicious. The onsite bar is a great place to relax after a long ride or drive.

Super comfortable beds and large rooms with everything you want. The check-in staff were excellent and very welcoming. This hotel was a pleasant surprise, so close to the town central and with most rooms set back from the main road it was quiet and convenient.

Just stayed overnight, made a mistake when booking and prepaying on line, arrived a day earlier than booked, not a hassle, got a room, no extra charge, delightful people. room was large , bed perfect and breakfast perfect,5 Star service,

We were tired after a hectic week away from home. Check in was easy, and our room was large, clean and well equipped. Had a nice area to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. Pizza was on the menu for dinner and it was hot with lots of toppings.

Great location, safe, quiet and clean. Being a little toward the end of town this hotel is always quiet away from traffic even when full. Plenty of onsite safe parking for our work vehicles. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Accor plus member, but Best Western Goulburn beats Accor hotels hands down. Staff are fantastic, accomodation extremely spacious, and comfortable. Food and Beverages are not expensive, but excellent.. will be back again..

Well it is the new building. So everything is clean and new. We had the upstairs family room without the spa but with a kitchenette. Liked - clean, free parking near the room, plenty of space with 4 single and 1 king bed. On-site Restuarant. What could be better - they call it full kitchen - it is a kitchenette, but still can't complain much about it, no washing machine in room, still not a complaint. The carpet has a mild smell to it , needs shampooing!

The oysters are okay nothing special had to add salt . The chicken breast was great and juicy but the gravy was horrible . Ans the rack of ribs was the biggest let down ever . Could have pulled my teeth out before pulling the pork off the bone . Not a excellent experience for the price

Can't beat the wonderful service. Rooms are clean and it's close proximity to CBD. Food is great and room service is wonderful Pass for a 24 hour gym included in the room cost. Don't go shopping with dear friends.... or?

Situated within a kilometre of the main street of Goulburn, this modern and recently refurbished hotel is a pleasure to stay at. As a regular visitor to the hotel, I have seen the modernisation and upgrading of the facilities in the last 12 months or so. The establishment is clean, has good internet and a very good variety of rooms to suit all needs and budgets. As a professional who travels regularly I am always happy to see this this on my itinerary.

We were very happy with our super large and clean king apartment. We loved the 5-6 happy hour and everyone was so friendly. We stayed for a delicious dinner that came out so fast and extra large servings. Very happy with our stay and we will be back.

First time staying at this motel and very pleased with the standard. We had a 2 level suite which offered a very comfortable bed and spacious sitting area. Very clean, superior bathroom facilities and lovely fluffy towels. Add to this the excellent Cascades restaurant and you have a very attractive package. Highly recommend!

It was a very convenient place to stay. Clean, modern, organised, rooms for kids upstairs and couples retreat downstairs. The only down turn would have to be the bathroom roller door that was heavy and difficult to slide, other than that, spectacular. Quiet surroundings, great bed, comfy pillows.

Great room! Beds very comfortable. Quite room was away from street and had a nice small courtyard where the kids played in the morning. All of us very happy. Breakfast was delicious. Was able to use bath for small kids.

The staff were very friendly, apartment was very clean and beds were super comfortable. Unfortunately there was not a pool as advertised but the room service was very fast. We would definitely stay again .

This was an overnight stay on a trip elsewhere. The room was large, beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed and a great shower and bathroom. This is a hotel that I will stay at again when w are in Goulburn and highly recommend to others.

Our stays at the Best Western are always enjoyable. The staff are always helpful with any questions or requests. The restaurant has amazing food. Hotel is only a short stroll to the main street. Will definitely stay here again

I stayed at the King Loft Spa Suite, loved it. From the friendly staff to the clean/comfortable rooms (not to mention the bubbly spa). Best Western is the best you'll find in Goulburn. Plenty of parking space, and the rooms comes with a little kitchenette. You also get 2hours free gym access at a local fitness centre.

Excellent as ever! Clean, tidy, spacious and modern room, well appointed and warm. Quiet and centrally located on Sydney-end of Goulburn main street. On-site parking in front of room. Have returned to this property many times over last 15+ years and never disappointed.

The staff were friendly and helpful and my room was well appointed. The restaurant had a good selection and was both child friendly and suitable for business. The hotel was well priced and offered a good range of room options.

Kids enjoyed the unique featured bathroom with a viewing window from tge bedroom.... they could play in the bath for an hour all whilst we supervised from the rest of the room. Comfortable room for 4 people.

A friendly warm check in and from this point on the service standards never disappointed. The room has all and more what hotels offer . Full bar fridge alongside of fridge with milk or great for people that need space for food & drinks that's bought in from outside motel. Large bathroom ideal should one want to play football in or who just love the space with deep bath and full length shower that runs long side of bath.Bath room tiles are clean with definitely no marks of mould and grouting very clean Great motel and 5 stars all the way.

Stayed in the family suite which was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It would have been good to have a bathtub I think most families with young children would prefer a tub so I was a bit surprised that there was only a shower but apart from that I couldn't fault it.

Rooms are really nice and comfortable and the two bedroom apartment is a good family option. The restaurant and happy hour are terrific. Another lovely stay at Best Western Plus in Goulburn. Would recommend this motel to anyone.

really loved the staff and housekeepers. Room was just awesome. Wanted a decoration for my partners birthday but nothing could be arranged via hotel staff, had to arrange everything by myslef. Don't like the cafe food though. Doesn't meet expectations. Overall very comfortable

I make a point of staying here whenever I come to Goulburn. The rooms are first class. The service and the facilities are awesome. Not to mention the 5:00pm happy hour! There is a pool and spa and also complimentary membership to local gym.

Have stayed here 3 times in the 4 weeks, great stop over point to avoid the headache of Sydney. Comfortable rooms and well priced, Room service meals are absolutely amazing, staff were awesome, and was very happy to see a Tesla Charger available for my use. Definitely be staying here more often.

Unexpectedly received complimentary upgrade to a spa suite, very comfortable bed, well appointed room, fabulous huge hot breakfast, with great service. The location was quiet and easy to find, easy parking.

I just stayed here one night and booked through BW direct for best price. Reception was very good, friendly staff. Room was large, very comfortable, chairs, bed and great bathroom. I did not eat at the establishment, preferred to eat down town. Highly recommend this place.

Clean and comfy rooms and beds. Good stop over. We had two bedroom king suite. Only negative is one bathroom and it's downstairs whilst the bedrooms are upstairs. Bedrooms were great though, spacious with couch and television. Sliding glass door that didn't close properly was a little interesting

The bed was super comfy, the carpet luxurious and the complimentary bottles of water a welcome surprise. It is always a pleasure staying here, the reception staff are always very nice. We had to work in the evening so went to the restaurant at opening. Our meals came out very quickly, allowing us to be in and out quickly. Thanks.

My family and I just stayed at the best western in Goulburn for the weekend. The room was huge the bathroom was deluxe, it was warm, clean, and definitely exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the friendly staff who were all happy to help with anything we needed.

There for work. Lovely unit with kitchen and plenty of space. Felt almost as good as home. There for work so needed internet which was fast and reliable which was perfect. Location quiet despite main road outside unit. Dom

Stayed in one of their newly refurbished family apartment rooms located on the upper floor. We were travelling enroute to Melbourne from Northern NSW. The apartment was ideal as we were travelling as part of a family group of 7. The apartment had everything required. Special mention for the extremely comfortable beds and well appointed and equipped kitchenette. The rooms were very clean and quiet. Unfortunately the onsite restaurant was closed due to COVID-19 restrictions - however room service more than covered our requirements.

We find that this is an ideal stop for us as we travel between Melbourne and Sydney. We ordered room service for dinner and it was delicious. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean. Staff are most welcoming.

We (family of four) had been stuck in Goulburn previously getting back to Sydney from Wodonga when the Hume Highway had been closed due to the bushfires. It was black with smoke, lots of people and it was late. We called into the Best Western Plus for a room, however, as we had our dog with us they couldn't put us but rang and got us into a dog freindly place for the night. Fast forward and doing a quick trip to Wodonga to visit my elderly Mum minus dog this time and needed to put up for the night due to tiredness. The Best Western Plus staff ensured we had a great room (queen bed in studio style downstairs, four beds upstairs in loft bedroom, plenty of space) at a good price with very nice pizzas and fish and chips for room service at about 930 pm just after we got there. A good sleep (nice beds) topped off a good night to provide a very enjoyeable trip to Wodanga. Thanks Vicky and Greg (think I got it right) Great art work by the way!!

After a long day driving, was so nice to arrive at a really nice place to stay. The room was big, it was clean, tidy and had a kitchen should you choose to cook. We decided to see the menu, but upon looking it over there wasn't really anything for gluten free vegetarian or vegan. Decided to ask if they had any choices to suit our needs. The chef said, tell me what you want and I'll make it. My husband had stir fry noodles, vegan. I had a beautiful filling salad with feta and chips. We were very impressed with the food and that the chef was willing to work with our dietary needs. Very well priced also. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

I do work near Goulburn often and always stay at the Best Western. The rooms are always very clean and the staff always friendly. The food is great next door and Wayne is always happy to take your breakfast egg order (Thanks mate!). The pool and spa are a nice treat after a long day on the road. I have a semi regular occasion to need to stay here for work purposes. I`m always encouraged when I hear that I am required to work in Goulburn because I know that I never have an issue with this Motel. I just spent the past 2 weeks in a large family room that has 4 single beds upstairs from the King bed downstairs. The size of the rooms, the appointments, quality of bathrooms and soaps etc, everything is simply high class and high quality. I cant wait to head back down there.

Heading to Melbourne from the Mid North Coast, we decided to have an overnighter in Goulburn to break up the trip, after driving for 10 hours in oppressive smoke (thanks Scott Morrison PM) and heat. The room was great, two story, air-con, a spa, it was great! There is an indoor pool, which was lovely, though the spa wasn't working. It was a welcome respite on a long drive.

The best western Goulburn is very clean, lovely friendly hosts and great breakfast. I would recommend to family's travelling through as well as business customers in the area. I've been back and every stay has been great

Based on the photos we had great expectations for the Best Western Plus but upon arrival, we were a bit disappointed. One of the buildings was missing a wall and obviously was undergoing a major renovation. Our building was nice but had a used feel to it. It would have been nice to know about the renovation beforehand. Our 2 story room had 4 singles and a king bed (all very comfy) & was quirky. It had a lovely kitchen, old-style nice furnishings, a bathroom in the middle with a huge bath but no curtain, so when you used the bathroom everyone saw everything. My family are open but maybe not that open.:-) It was a nice walk to the war memorial for those who are moderately fit. Great value for money

This is a great option in Goulburn. We have now stayed three times during regular road trips from Sydney to Melbourne. The property is a good way through renovation and the new rooms we've stayed in are very new and spacious, including with big and nicely appointed bathrooms - as well as with kitchenette. I recently left some things in the fridge on the way down and was very grateful that when I collected the containers a month later from reception on our way back through they were there waiting and had been washed by staff.

We stayed at the Best Western in Goulburn purely based on reviews and feedback. We (family of 2 adults, 2 young kids) stayed in a deluxe Two-Bedroom Apartment. The bedrooms were upstairs in large rooms with comfortable beds. Downstairs we had a full kitchen with all the essentials, large dining/sitting room and full bathroom (shower, bath, loo). We used the indoor pool and spa that the kids loved. The building / decor could use a refresh (think its all from 1990s) however no complaints from us.

Very clean and quiet, will be back definitely. Nice heated pool which my son absolutely loved. Plenty of parking. Easy access and a friendly receptionist. Would recommend for anyone to sleepover. Single or family.

Could not be happier with the accommodation, food, staff and location. Accommodation - various options to suit travelling party. Food in the restaurant was really nice. All staff - friendly, excellent customer service, nothing was too much trouble. Cost - very reasonable. Goulburn was a stop over from Brisbane to Melbourne for us. The town is full of history and all services you could need. We will spend more time there on our next trip. Well done Best Western!

For Goulburn this is an expensive motel. We have asked for a particular room the last 3 times we have visited and not got it even after booking months in advance. The customer service here is the wow factor!!! Super helpful lady on reception and all staff have been so wonderful. Room was great!!! Wasn't expecting much from the bathroom but was pleasantly surprised. Have been nagging hubby about being the best hotel we've stayed at on our trip to Sydney in ages!

Very comfortable and clean room, on the ground floor,....spacious and in excellent condition. We had a nice lounge area and a king size bed and a microwave, sink and largish fridge. We enjoyed a lovely dinner brought to our room and a very nice buffet breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. The room was reasonably priced too. I'd stay there again.

Friendly staff and gad a warm welcome. Room was well appointed - clean and tidy. Stairs to bedroom was the only draw back, fairly step/small steps with bathroom downstairs. Quiet motel - looked like it was to capacity over the 3 days we stayed and no noise was noticable. Breakfast was 1st class with plenty of choices.

Great King room, at a very economical price. Room included spa, sink, microwave, usual amenities and was split into upper and lower levels. There was a TV on the upper and lower levels. The room was very neat clean and tidy.

Stayed at the Best Western Plus Goulburn for a work trip. Room was spacious, clean, modern and had plenty of power points for our camera/video gear. Wi-Fi speeds were good. Bathroom was spacious and water pressure - excellent. Continental breakfast was also excellent and service throughout the hotel from the restaurant to the check in/check out process was great. Probably the only thing that was a bit weird and difficult was the swimming pool which is right bang in the middle of the car park, so having to thread a car past bollards and the swimming pool structure isn't the best. Location-wise, it's about an 800m walk to the centre of town, and a short distance drive to a majority of areas in town. In summary, a great stay and would stay there again.

We stayed one night here on the way back to Melbourne. It's half way between Melb and Coffs Harbour. Our room was 2 story with a kitchenette. It was spotless and very well equipped. There is a restaurant and bar on site but we ended up cooking in the room. Really nice MOR products in the bathroom. The indoor pool and spa are very tired looking but was still pleasant to jump in for a swim after the drive.

Room and facilities excellent. Very quiet, easy to use heating. Huge TV easy to use and good reception. Restaurant food and service were very good but recommend to eat early (6ish) and book because local groups use it and the kitchen can get busy.

Room was very nice. Comfy bed and well appointed. Staff very friendly. Foyer and outside areas look old and a bit neglected. Invited for free canapés and $5 drinks which was a nice touch but the bar/fireplace area wasn't really appealing as it looked a bit ‘brown' and run down so we stayed in our room. Very enjoyable stay though.

The service was excellent from start to finish. All the staff my husband and I dealt with were friendly and ready and willing to help with a smile. The apartment exceeded our expectations. The finishes were excellent and the apartment was very spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and inviting. The kitchen was beautiful and very well stocked. We had an excellent nights sleep in the comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and the wi fi was excellent with no drop outs or other issues. We had an excellent buffet dinner in the restaurant. The food was well presented, there was a wide selection of food and most importantly, it was delicious ! My husband loved the prawns in particular. The staff in the restaurant were efficient and helpful without being in your face. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend Best Western Plus for a great experience.

From check in to check out this is one of the nicest motels we've stayed in. Friendly owners and staff, they really made us feel welcome and at home. Really comfortable beds, great bathroom and amenities. We stayed in a courtyard room with kitchenette which was very well stocked with tea, coffee, etc. Had a lovely dinner at their restaurant, Cascades. Unfortunately all deserts had dairy, which is a no no for us, so the chef prepared us a delicious fruit and sorbet platter for dessert. Our special thanks to chef! Highly recommend this place, excellent in every way.

Loved the heated pool and spa and the buffet breakfast. Wide choice of delicious breakfasts- one of is vegetarian and one not and we were both happy. Staff were friendly and helpful.On the downside- bedroom was up some steep stairs and bathroom/toilet was on the lower level. Bed was comfortable. Price was good booked through hotel.com and included breakfast and wifi. It was a coldish day when we arrived and the upstairs heater had been left on to warm up the rooms beautifully. There was also a downstairs heater. The spa bath in the unit was nice but rather small for two people.

Hi Leesha, Thank you for the thoughtful comments. The problem with booking online is that it is easy to miss some thing in the description ie Loft Bedroom. I recommend booking direct for the best price and to get exactly what you want.

Part of a chain but run with a human touch & unusual efficiency. Good value for money. Daily "Happy Hour" in a well-appointed lounge is a bonus. Only problem is narrow-access carparking for some rooms. And access from the road is circuitous (round thr block) if travelling northwards in Goulburn.

Room was great, well appointed, spacious, quiet and very clean. Beds were comfortable and the lighting was suitable to be able to read in bed. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking can be a little tight when heavily booked. I would book here again.

We annually take a 2 bedroom apartment while attending a weekend of meetings and it is always up to expectations. Clean with all we needed iron, board, kitchenette with dishwasher and hotplates (minibar if needed) and a restaurant on site.

Stopped in on our way to Melbourne, staff were nice and recommend us with some local pubs / bars for dinner but the rooms were not anything fancy, beds are hard and bathroom not updated... for $125 for a night wasn't really worth it.. but the location is really convenient and they have parking for trailers too

Stayed in a King Superior Unit and the rooms were amazing to say the least. The bathrooms were huge and luxurious, the rooms were massive with lovely furnishings and a very comfortable bed. Staff were exceptional.

We have stayed at this motel numerous times and it still is a great place to stay. We were in one of the new rooms at the front of the motel and it was spacious, clean and well decorated . Also the television was large. Even though we faced the main street we heard no traffic noise. The room also had a private courtyard wich was excellent. I hoghly recommend this establishment

We had been driving all day and wanted a place to eat and lay our head. the sign that said restaurant drew us in. This was one of the best decisions of our trip. The room was nearly new, beautifully decorated and everything was there that you could need. we stayed onsite for dinner and again were very pleasantly surprised. .we had pizza which arrived promptly and were really tasty. The best bit was that they put on snow especially for us the next morning!! best spur of the moment overnight stop ever

Stayed here for work and did not disappoint. I have stayed in a 'higher class hotel in Goulburn previously, however this hotel far exceeds that one as its more homely, has better and cheaper food, free canapas during happy hour between 5-6pm and has good size rooms, with excellent bathrooms. Only drawback was that I forgot my pillow and there were no firm pillows in the room.

After a long drive the staff were very welcoming and i was given an upgrade. Fantastic room, comfortable bed and very quiet. Huge big bath and nice toiletries. I had dinner in the restaurant and best steak ive had for a long time. Chearful staff that were very busy. 11am checkout also a bonus. After a hard days racing, we find staying in Goulburn, going out to dinner and enjoying a few brews and ideal way to wind down after a great day at Wakefield Park. Although there was a lot of evidence a lot of construction work had been going on, the hotel was quiet and the staff were excellent. The restuarant served very tasty meals that were a little unusual but in a good way. Some of the rooms we had, had been upgraded the others had an upgraded bathrooms. All had comfortable beds.

Best Western Goulburn is by far the best place to stay travelling Melb/Sydney, we have tried quite a few and this one comes a very definite first. Bed was extremely comfortable and breakfast was great, set us up for the day.

The staff and amenities at the best western are amazing. I am always so warmly welcomed by the ladies at the front desk and the food is amazing. Rooms are spacious and warm (especially during the colder months) and they provide everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

The room was a great size and very clean. The breakfast was lovely and David was more then helpful with an issue we may have had, but luckily didn't eventuate. I would highly recommend this hotel. P.S. Great toiletries and made in Australia!

OK, so my teenage sons & I only stayed here one night, to break up our trip back from Perisher to Sydney....but we were all really impressed with the quality & size of the apartment, including a huge bathroom with bathtub. As we weren't there for long, can't really comment on the facilities - though the staff were friendly & we wished that we could've had this type of high end place to stay at, at Jindabyne. Great value for money & recommend it.

I have stayed here a few times now and this time stayed in a single storey king room. Well done . clean, comfortable, quiet and really comfortable bed. problem is I slept in a little because my sleep was great.

When you arrive you are greeted by this fantastic looking Hotel. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom apartment. The room was very clean and the shower is fantastic. We all had a fantastic sleep in the wonderful beds. Its like sleeping on a fluffy cloud. The staff are very helpful and will go above and beyond to help you. I highly recommend the Best Western Goulburn. We drove all the way from Melbourne late in the evening because we love this place. Keep up the excellent work.

We stay at this place when visiting my mother who lives in a nearby retirement village, it is a real treat, the rooms are comfortable and in good condition, there is a lovely spa bath and small pool, and it is only a short walk to the main part of Goulburn. Exceeded my expectations. The Best Western Goulburn was lovely. The double storey apartment well and truely accommodating our family with the most comfortable bed I'd ever slept in in a hotel, even the kids said they were better than theirs at home, and when on a road trip sleep is paramount. The rooms were clean and modern with all the ammenities you need for an overnight stay. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is just at the edge of the main strip so nice and quiet. The kids didn't get to test the pool but it seems others did and were there for some time. I would highly recommend the Best Western Goulburn, no matter how long your stay.

Amazing apartment. Facilities were 5 star. Came in on a freezing night to a toasty warm 2 bedroom apartment. Fantastic! The room was spotless and the extra bed neatly set up for our son. Would definately stay here again. Very close to Sydney (where we were travelling to). Didn't get to check out the pool - but will be back in the warmer months with the kids.

I haven't even stayed the full length of my stay yet, but i know where ill be staying when i come back to Goulburn! My partner is studying at the police academy, so when i come to see him, we need to stay off campus. When i arrived and checked in yesterday, Rhiannon and David were so kind and helpful, Rhiannon giving me heaps of local information on things to do, and places for my sick partner to see a doctor that bulk bills! Next it was dinner in for us, and i realised we needed some cutlery! Gave reception a call, and within seconds David was at our door with all we needed! Today as I'm escaping the room trapped with sickness, i swung by reception and Debbie helped me out with a late check out for tomorrow,reminded me of directions to get to the pharmacy, and again offered local suggestions on things to do! David again helped me out without hesitation today grabbing ice from the restaurant for me! Every single interaction has felt so genuine with the staff, and i feel so at home and comfortable here! Im looking forward to coming back!

Nice rooms, good bed and pretty comfortable. Annoying noise in bedroom from air conditioners cycling on and off and vibrating through walls. Parking outside rooms is haphazard. Perhaps an allocated number outside each room.

Confirmed after phone call last week that the spa room was confirmed for us. Reception was given the names of other people listed on my booking. We arrived expecting a spa suit and was greeted saying the first of our group in got it. What sort a show do you run? If I personally was assured my name was on the spa suite. The attitude of the young lady booking us in was much to be desired. I assume because I was ticked of didn't help her attitude. 11 months waiting to book in and all I got was fail. I will think twice of booking here again. Room seems tidy and clean, however hugely disappointing in reception and getting the booking right.

A fantastic organisation, bed and pillows were relaxing easy to go to sleep, food was delicious and the staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Close to town and plenty of parking room. Will be going back.

One of the nicest Best Western hotels we've visited. Had a 2-storey unit; living room and bathroom downstairs and the bedroom was upstairs. Well stocked fridge. There is a restaurant on site, and food was very good; had a lovely breakfast there before we left. There is a small in-door pool on site and a laundry room, which proved very useful. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Was booked a room for work and was given a two story room which was stunning! Immaculate in all areas. A huge screen tv both downstairs and upstairs! Absolutely loved it. A very quiet room. The room service was great and the meals lovely! The staff are very accomodating. Will be even better once their renovations are complete! Would highly recommend!!

Everything was perfect, first time in a long time I DID NOT want to leave my room... The room was so comfortable & the bed was absolutely heavenly... Oh & don't get me started on the spa bath.. If possible I could have stayed in it more many hours than I did... The room was very relaxing, clean & tidy.. I'll definitely be telling all friends & footy parents where to stay on our next visit especially after listening to some on their previous nights stays to our away games.. Very generous size room, 2 queen beds and desk! Dining table for 2, kitchen including full size fridge freezer, dish washer, stove top and very well equipped with utensils! Bathroom/wet room modern and actually had luxurious feel. High quality toiletries and beautiful bath sheets! Private court yard, very clean. Aircon and heating! Heated pool needs repairs and revamp but warm and clean! Ant problem within pool area! Building under renovation so look forward to seeing end result! Didn't effect our stay! The reason for staying at this motel is for spa, would have preferred different spa room,as the one we stayed in the spa was too small and the shower was in the spa. Also the bedroom was upstairs, we like to drink while we are away, so you have to be very careful, going up and down stairs. When I booked it was the only spa room left, have stayed in the other spa rooms at this motel.

We were here for 1 night only but enjoyed our stay and found the 2 bedroom apartment to be clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing to note is that the bathroom was downstairs and the bedrooms were upstairs. This wasn't a problem for us but could be for someone less mobile. The beds were reallly comfortable.

Best Western at Goulburn staff are very accommodating. Service was easy but not pushy. Rooms very comfortable and well set out. Whole Motel is generous with space and no problems with parking (Car and Trailer)

I stayed in a 2 story room. I found the layout impractical. The bed is upstairs and then there's a sitting type room and the bathroom downstairs. Everything was beautiful and clean and well appointed but just a strange layout. Seemed like wasted space to me. Restaurant and bar there. Happy hour was good and the meal was okay. For the cost, I think I'd stay somewhere else.

regularly stay here on business trips to Goulburn, rooms are clean and well appointed, restaurant food is good quality and reasonably priced, staff are always friendly and helpful. No traffic noise, easy parking. Close enough to the central business district if needed

We stayed at this motel overnight and found the room to be excelent. The room was tidy and a good size with parking right at the door. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location made it an easy walk to the main street and clubs. There are new rooms being built so this should help with accomodation as the motel always seems to be busy.

Well looked after by friendly staff - food was plentiful and delicious; so many breakfast options! Will definitely come back. Room (2 bed apartment) was spacious and quiet. Thanks to all the staff for an enjoyable stay

I was on a tour and they were pretty disorganised on our arrival. It took 20 minutes for them to sort out the room keys. Having said that, I had a spacious room and the bed was very comfortable. There was an extra room up some stairs(that was locked) that would be great for families. The motel is set out in blocks and as such there is no lift to the upstairs rooms. The room had a balcony, but it was so small. It was the width of the door. The bathroom supplies were a high quality. The dinning room is very pleasant and the meal was very good. It's not easy to serve a large group, so they did well.

All staff were very helpful, pleasant and welcoming. Light meals were available as well as restaurant meals. It was lovely to stay at and the rooms were clean, tidy and woke up feeling refreshed from a goodnight sleep.

This property was one of the best we have experienced on this trip. The room was well appointed with the correct amount of relevant furniture. The hotel was nice & quiet & within a short drive to the city centre

We stayed in the loft style apartment. Felt like home having a bedroom upstairs and the lounge/bathroom and kitchenette downstairs. The staff were lovely, all smiles. Great facilities including restaurant and pool. Would highly recomend this hotel for a couples/family stay, or business trip accommodation. Simply lovely.

Very friendly staff who are willing to assist with any requests, facilities very clean and tidy, rooms very well appointed. Great service and staff are Best Westerns greatest asset and they are very happy which shows in their interactions with patrons. Good meals with a variety to suit tastes and preferences, located in a quiet area with very comfortable beds.
