Best Western Plus Goulburn

We had two nights in room 511, a ground floor room. Beds were comfortable, pillows also comfortable and all were clean. This room has an oven, a two burner stove top, mircrowave, toaster and kettle. There was a proper sized fridge & freezer. It is more than what you'd expect from a motel room, you could cook meals instead of eating out. Toilet and shower was clean. This motel is on a busy four lane highway but you'd never know it - they must have double or triple glazing glass for the windows. We noticed no traffic noise at all when sleeping, you can only hear it if you open the back sliding door and go out into the little private courtyard. The reception staff were polite.

Very comfortable stay. This is our second stay at Best Western Plus Goulburn and we can't fault it and very much appreciate the ammenities such as the full kitchen. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable and spacious. We will definitely stay again.

Once again, Best Western Plus Goulburn have given us a great night in. ‘Do yourself a favour' and try the Pork in Hoi Sun Sauce when you're next in town. Streaming to the TV was too tricky so luckily we had a laptop and HDMI to watch a movie connected ‘Old School'

We arrived after midnight and the after hours check in process was easy to follow and well explained. The room was clean and great for our needs with a kings size bed and four singles. Perfect stop on our way south on the Hume highway. We would definitely recommend.

Just love staying, peaceful, comfy bed and pillows and beautiful food at the restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Goulburn. Bathroom is beautiful and rooms are really large with everything you need when staying away from home.

Fantastic Room and Facilities, great location being a good walk to town. Reception staff pleasant and professional. Rooms were neat and tidy and modern with a well thought layout and loft bedroom. I recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable stay.

Great place, room was wonderful, staff were all amazing and the entire stay was great. 10/10 will return. We went for breakfast at the Hotel and it was great both mornings we went. The staff were all very friendly and willing to assist whenever needed. Accessibility to everything was great and the location is easy to get to. Overall very happy with our choice for the weekend stay.

I made a quick last minute stop travelling through to the coast , Great shower, friendly staff . Had an issue but it was dealt with quickly. A little noisy with a cart or similar being pushed around outside just after 7 but otherwise very quiet . I would stay again

Perfect stop over point. We stayed both on the way north and heading back down south. The staff are fabulous and very helpful. The kids loved there room and beds and enjoyed the space and cleanliness. I couldn't recommend it any more heartily. We will stay there again for sure.

Very comfortable, tidy modern rooms. All areas of the room very clean. Reception staff very friendly. Travelled with three children and booked a family suite. The children had a separate sleeping space away from parents. The layout of the suite is very well designed for families.

i was urged by the management to give this place another go - which i did on a rcent trip to sydney... well not much has changed... our room was smelly and dirty. sorry but my advice is to look to others...

Good room, nice staff, decent value for money after offered discount over the phone. Bathroom and shower superb! Like a middle eastern hotel. Was surprised by the quality of tiling there. I take note of those things! Noisy air con in our room though.

Comfy beds, spacious room, luxurious bathroom and full kitchen with oven, stovetop, microwave and full fridge. Kids loved it and even said “This was the best motel room EVER!” If this is what best western plus has to offer … I'm impressed!

Clean and spacious room. Beds very comfortable. Loved the kitchette with larger fridge and cooktop. Desk was perfect to do some computer work. We did hear thumping from upstairs room and loud water noises. Otherwise it was an enjoyable stay

excellent as usual .... Room cleanliness and hygiene was first class. Very quiet location and close to CBD. The breakfast is great and a wonderful . My only concern is in being asked to complete this survey that I am required to submit 200 characters.

So clean and comfortable, loved the courtyard that our room had as well. Very comfy beds and the block out curtains made the room so dark that we were able to sleep in after a long drive. Loved the option of the Room service breakfast as well.

The room was very large with table and chairs and leather chair with footrest there was a microwave which was handy and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge and shower was good. Parking for car at front of room. There is a restaurant although we did not eat there.

The check in was wonderful with lovely Jacquie. She explained everything very thoroughly to us. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were good also. The room was spacious and clean. We will be back for sure.

To start, the checking in process was easy and welcoming, the apartment was clean, tidy, warm with very comfortable sleeping arrangements. The staff are very professional polite and lovely nothing is a problem.

Check-in was very good and easy, Bed was very comfortable, i don't think the design of the shower grate is good, it was very bendy and was extremely uncomfortable to stand on.. Otherwise the stay was good,

Nice quiet location with a really nice room and awesome bathroom with a spa bath. Easy parking and close to everything you need. If you get food from Ban Thai you will not be disapointed!! It has an awesome Massaman curry.

Everything is lovely during our stay! Staff always willing to help and sort out the best deal for the customer, helpful and trustworthy. Everyday routine clean is way beyond my expectations. Professional and pay attention to the details. Easy to access the parking. That's important for travelers. Room stay warm during the winter, don't even need heater on. Overall, will choose here again for next business trip and highly recommend to the others!

Great room. Loved the bath with the window to watch tv. The room service dinner was amazing. The staff at at reception were super helpful. Would definitely stay again. Loved being able to open the windows for some fresh air.

The room was amazing and spacious. Unfortunately our spa stopped working, but that was no one's fault. It was a little pricey but with a family of 4 was ok. I loved the two bathrooms and fact it had Free Tesla Chargers.

Great double room which was spacious, clean and comfortable and had a lovely patio. Went with my family (7 and 8 year old) on our way through and they loved the room. Exceeded expectations and would definitely recommend :)

A comfortable bed, with the basic amenities at hand. We did want dinner on the Sunday evening, but the restaurant was NOT open. We had chairs we could sit on, the bathroom was spacious and clean. The pillows were good, mattress was firm enough without being too hard. the airconditioner worked quietly, and we would be happy to stay again if we are even in the area in the future.

The rooms and bathroom were impressively clean and comfortable. Large lounge room, bathroom with spa, and toilet downstairs. Upstairs was a very roomy bedroom and wardrobe. There was a steep staircase to upstairs which may be an issue for some people. A comprehensive breakfast was available and the Big Breakfast was all freshly cooked and quite good value.

Great p[lace to stay, would get anyone to stay here as it is a true 5-star experience. Food is great staff very friendly. fellow travelers are also happy. local staff from my work go there for meetings and out for tea .

We always stay here however I think it's due for a refurbishment as the rooms are outdated. No mini bar, some of the furniture does not need to be in there, toilet difficult to use as there is minimal clearance from door to where you are sitting. Perhaps place pictures on the wall to showcase the beautiful historical area instead of some of those irrelevant paintings

Lovely staff, fantastic food. Happy hour $5 beers and yummy canapés then great dinner. Comfy king size bed, spa and helpful facilities; included a microwave, and toaster, which saved us money. Warm, clean and cosy. We will stay again. Thanks!

The room was one of the best family rooms we have stayed in. There was a full kitchen, huge upstairs area with king single beds for the kids and a nice king bed with mini lounge for us. The staff were wonderful and we had an awesome dinner at the restaurant. We will definitely be staying again

Beautiful recently renovated extra large rooms catering for big families (2 adults & 4 kids). Although renovations/building works are still underway the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities are exceptional. This is our 3rd stay at this motel travelling for sport so to have access to a laundry is prefect. Will definitely stay again.

The room had a Noisy heater which kept us awake most of the night and struggled to heat the room as outside was below zero . No Electric blanket , No spare Blanket , No shower cap . suppose to be a King Superior Unit and cost $169 for 2 adults . Manager apologised by email but it was a horrible experience .

This was a last-minute stop on our way back from Melbourne. The room was modern and big with lots of space for the 4 of us. All the staff were helpful and friendly the restaurant's food was delicious. Would stay again.

Everything was great. Staff very accommodating. Room comfortable and clean. Our only problem was having the bathroom downstairs from the bedroom which was unavoidable. Restaurant food was fantastic and we only had a short wait before it was served.

It would've been helpful to have a toilet in the same floor as the bed. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was amazing but would have lived a toilet upstairs as negotiating those stairs during the night were an issue.

Overnight stay for my partner and I. Came to town to catch up with friends... wish we had more time in the room as it was very nice. The spa bath was nice and the large shower space was perfect. Already looking to book again for our next trip back to Goulburn.

Good location close to everything, TV system is a bit idiosyncratic and time consuming to set up, a more user friendly system would be helpful to access all the movies etc etc. I have not encounted a system like the one in my room at other similar hotel/motels.

We had a really great night here. Everything was clean. Bathroom was beautiful and toiletries provided were lovely. We all loved the fabulous bath. The split-level apartment was perfect for our family of 5. Our kids were very excited that they had their own big room to share and we liked having a seperate space too. We look forward to our next stay.

After driving all day I was looking forward to the spa bath. When I opened the door and saw that leather seats, upstairs bedroom, 2 large smart tvs, I thought I was in heaven! I am only sorry that I'm here for only one night.

Room was large, clean, quiet and bed very comfortable. Cascades restaurant was unfortunately closed for renovations, but we look forward to trying it on a future visit. 3 Tesla chargers plus at least one other EV charging plug we noticed was also great to see.

I called up during a busy period of school holidays. I was driving back from Melbourne and wanted to overnight in Goulburn. Also had an Electric Vehicle and wanted to charge it. Best Western had one room left, and they were able to fit me in with all my requirements. I will call these guys again on my next trip.

Huge room and courtyard.. Great to walk into a spacious place after a day on the road and just relax..... The deep bath helped with this and the comfy bed.. The staff were very helpful even though we came in quite late

We booked this hotel at the last minute on our travel home. It was great to be able to book directly and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were very well appointed and the bed was amazingly comfortable. The staff were helpful at all times and we were greeted with a warm hello I would go back to Goulburn just to have a weekend to enjoy the comfort of the room, spa and fluffy pillows! I look forward to the Reno's being complete so we could have dinner on site Well worth booking

This motel has always been good and it just keeps getting better,Vicki and Wayne took it over many years ago and have turned it, (in my humble opinion)into one of the best motels in Australia.I stayed often before I retired and look forward to staying there again in the future.

Great hotel for a stop over and for a longer term stay if looking to explore the Goulburn area. Prompt check in. Good sized rooms and well appointed. Pillows & Bed were fantastic after a day driving. Easy to get into and out of but no traffic noise from the road.

We stayed for one night as a stopover in a long trip. The room had to large double beds, a modern bathroom and a small kitchen. Everything was clean and presented well. The kids loved the bath and all slept well as the beds were comfortable. Our only negative would be that the air conditioning unit was quite loud. We would definitely recommend this motel and will stay again next time we are in the area.

First impression is that the rooms were very clean and the bed was really comfy. Location wise the Best Western is an easy, flat, 10 minute walk into town which was perfect to stretch the legs after a long drive.

Great central location walking distance to shops. We stayed in a split level suite which was perfect for a young family. Kitchenette with fridge, sink and microwave was also very handy. Staff were super friendly.

We had an overnight stay on our way to Sydney and had good service and good accommodation The place was well located and was walking distance from the centre of town I made the booking via AirBnB but served by Best Western personnel at their reception

Stop over night on our family Xmas pilgrimage was made very comfortable with comfy beds, ample space in the room (Queen Studio) for two adults and two kids and a delicious late dinner in the attached restaurant (Cascades). Super friendly staff topped off our visit.

The room is clean and fully equipped including the kitchen. We liked the TV as it has chromecast and we can stream from our phone and cast it. Our room was on the ground floor and parking was accessible. Checking in and out was also quick and easy. Will come back again.

I stay in a lot of hotels in Australia and overseas for work and the rooms and service here rival the best 4 and 5 star ooom anywhere. The service is fantastic, exactly what you think of in the country and the room facilities are perfect. We have been so pleased with staying here.

Best Western Goulburn is a great place to stay. All the rooms are clean and tidy and well appointed. Service as always is excellent and the restaurant is great. The food is delicious and the muesli in the morning is awesome.

My large room was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Everything worked as it should. The bed was especially comfortable. Service was good. Dinner in the restaurant was of a high standard. I could park very close to my room. The motel is not far from the CBD.

The rooms are always very comfortable and Clean, this is always my preferred motel in Goulburn. Smart TV, dishwasher, air conditioner office station and both bath and seperate shower are all standard in my room. I will certainly stay here when I need accommodation in Goulburn again.

Clean, spacious, comfortable double room with kitchenette and small courtyard. Lovely service. Onsite restaurant with decent menu. Children enjoyed the playroom and equipment. Parents enjoyed a quiet dinner.

5brm house was perfect for our family needs the beds were so comfortable as was the couch, it was very clean and a lovely large home with everything included for a wonderful stay. Mum had the best sleep all holiday in the super comfortable king bed

Firstly I have to commend the helpful, friendly staff. We arrived to find we had a room with stairs (which we find hard to manage now) but were quickly transferred to another room which was everything you could wish for. We only stayed overnight but with all the facilities (oven, fridge, microwave etc) you would be comfortable staying for a lot longer. It was quiet, very comfy bed, good shower and extremely clean. We were also assisted in the parking of our small trailer - really nothing seemed too much trouble. Also enjoyed a lovely meal in their onsite restaurant, Cascades

We only stayed one night, one night too many. The room smelt so bad how could anybody sleep. The room smelt of smoke. The guy staying in the room next door just stood at his door and smoked cigarettes all the time. Bathrooms need upgrading, cost of the room was not cheap at all Rate was $190.00 for the night

Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Goulburn. Convenient, quiet and clean. Loved having a restaurant onsite so we didn't have to go anywhere after our day at the races. Plenty of space and heaps in the way of amenities!

Was a very last minute trip called and was able to book for our family of 5. Very helpful as always. We definitely will continue to stay here. Rooms are always very clean staff are always friendly and have gone above and beyond for us on previous stays. Would have to say these guys would be the best to stay with in Goulburn for sure

Great stop on our family road trip from the Gold Coast back to Melbourne. Large room with two king size beds, a small kitchenette and sofa. Plenty of room to accommodate our family of 4 for the night. The extremely trustworthy and helpful staff contacted us regarding our sons Fitbit which he left behind in the room and promptly sent it to us in the post.

Home away from home. One night stopover on our way to Canberra. Very peaceful location. Clean and spacious home. Only issue was the hot water ran low at night when attempting to take a shower for some reason. It might be due to the hot water tank running low from previous guests as we certainly did not use much hot water after we arrived. Left this feedback with reception when checking out. Apart from that the home was perfect for our needs.

Great amenities, parking was outdoor so no issue for our tall vehicle. Very clean and spacious, and our room had a nice view of the war memorial monument on the hill. We booked the 2 bedroom which was up a set of internal stairs, then it was split level within the apartment. Stairs quite steep but all in all was a lovely stay, very quiet.

I was traveling from Newcastle to Canberra and needed to stay in Goulburn for business, The road was taxing due to the heavy rain. I thought of the best Western and so i phone them for a room., They are always friendly and accommodated my wishes for a downstairs room, due to me carting my work gear laptop, printer etc etc. The lovely feeling of being in a warm clean room was great after the long rainy trip. The lunge was comfortable and they always have a small desk set up at the windows to work on.

A exceptionally presented room. It was spotless, spacious and having 2 levels created a great space for the kids to unwind answell as the adults. The marble bathroom with waterfall tap was a hit! The beds were super comfortable made to perfection with plenty of towels, and extras! We usualy stay at resorts but needed a one night break and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of our room. Would stay again!

Loved our stay. We had a 2 storey spacious 2br apartment for a couple and adult son. And the same price as some of the lamest motor inns where we were jammed in together at locations on our long drive to the Snowy Mountains. We got a kitchenette, including a dishwasher and full fridge a modern bathroom and cloudy comfy beds. A smart TV, free wifi, and a full restaurant. The staff are lovely and there early and late. We stayed in a larger room and were very comfortable. There was plenty of space and the kitchenette was well equipped. The extra space makes it easy for people with mobility issues to stay there. The signage is easy to miss so we had to go around the block but that is a minor inconvenience. The Wi-Fi was very good.

Great room, tidy and clean. The bath was a great bonus! We loved our visit. Even with two queen beds, the room was still huge. The kitchenette had everything we needed. The small courtyard would be great for the warmer weather. We will be back!

Best Western Goulburn staff received us with a smile and very helpful, friendly manner. We got in late on a stormy evening and were welcomed into the restaurant with extra effort taken to meet dietary requirements. I have stayed at this motel previously a couple of times over thirty odd years. So returned for a night on trip back from Melbourne, Although we had one of the older rooms still comfortable. Meal in restaurant well above expectations. Not often that you can get Gluten Free Fish and Chips! Staff very friendly and welcoming.

My family had a one night stay here, upon arriving the staff were more than welcoming and helpful with advise on places of interest. rooms were neat and tidy, beds very comfortable. we ate at the restaurant which was the best part of our stay. staff were lovely and the food was great. we have no negative comments to add for this place.

Been staying here for year, its our choice hotel when we visit Goulburn to use Wakefield Park and Pheasants Wood race tracks. Always friendly check-in staff. Rooms are huge and beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are generous, some even have baths or a spa! Double glazed windows means you dont need to use the heating the whole time, even in below 10 degree temps. Plenty of parking for cars with trailers and rarely hear any noise from outside or other guests.

We stayed in room 505 which I think may have been in the new block. Room was spotlessly clean and well equipped, and service at reception was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beds were lovely and comfy. Excellent value and we would definitely come again.

The room had plenty of heating, a must in Goulburn in winter. Comfortable bed and massive shower and beautifully decorated. Very quiet and would highly recommend. Within walking distance of restaurants.

We have stayed a couple of times for work and personal travel. Always great welcoming staff and rooms are spacious, clean, and really comfortable. Great heating in winter, beds and pillows are excellent.

As usual the best motel on our annual migration to QLD great room very well equipped, microwave, toaster all the usual. Makes it so much easier at breakfast for us with food allergies. The king size bed is as good if not better than the one at home

Very professional service and polite and helpful room was very clean staff helpful offered options for dining as thirs was closed due to covid convenient to shopping area to pick up essentials we left a phone charger in the room and to get that sent back was to be a very difficult exercise for the staff so we decided to just let it go and buy a new one Thank you

Was expecting a typical room with a Bed, and Table and 1 Chair. Never stayed at a PLUS Before. Room was excellent, very clean, well equipped, modern. Everything in the room was first class, and the staff we approachable and helpful. Much more than I expected. Well done all round. For a country town this motel totally exceeded my expectations, and I regularly stay at Major City Hotels around the country.

Very comfortable, spacious, quiet, friendly and has a restaurant that delivers to your door! Highly recommend the 2 bedroom king room, with sofa bed in lounge if required, bedrooms are up stairs (very safe) and the lounge room, on the lower level, is huge! The only draw back with this room is there is only 1 toilet and its down stairs, so cross your legs!

The room was comfortable, warm, and very spacious and clean. I had the king loft room where the living areas were downstairs and the king bed and wardrobe and a lounge and large TV were upstairs. Downstairs had a TV, bathroom with shower and spa, small bar with sink and tea and coffee and fridge. There was also a table for eating and table and chair for office work. All round everything you would need.

Great motel to stay at when on the road. The room was very spacious and clean. It had a great bathroom and kitchenette, plus a little courtyard. The heating was a little hot but easy to turn off and also great for anyone who doesn't like the winter cold. The reception stayed open late for us and were very accommodating as well.

Hairs wrapped around bath jets, heater didn't work properly so kept having to move downstairs in front of the one that did to get warm as it was 4 degrees. Bedding/spare bedding not clean and the food is too expensive to bother. Only nice part was the staff, they were lovely.

The Best Western is a beautiful spot to stay when visiting Goulburn. The room service was so quick, and soooo tasty, followed by a spa....I slept like a log! I HIGHLY recommend you stay there too! The staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable too.

The Queen Apartment was clean, spacious and with all the required amenities. Enjoyed my stay with the family. My Family enjoyed a lot as the room was warm and the kitchen was clean with all the utensils needed.

The new wing is a significant surprise in comfort and amenities, the host team were very professional and friendly. Our room access was protected from the elements and vehicle noise via an air conditioned foyer.

The hotel room was huge and clean and well presented. The beds were very comfortable too. Having full kitchen facilities was a life saver travelling with kids. We'll be back the next time we're in Goulburn.

Great pace to stay in Goulburn ^ would defibately stay ther again. Rooms were spacious with king beds & large bathroom area and very deep bath. Good space in shower area & in the room we staued had office desk & chair. All very good.

A work trip that was like most others, arrive and book in, to my surprise the staff were very welcoming and they gave a real sense of personal service. Facilities were excellent and extremely comfortable. Definitely worth another stay next time I'm in town.

We booked this from the Hotel Website and we booked a Spa room as we do enjoy a few Luxuries . At check in we were greeted by the very Friendly receptionist . She informed us that we had been given an upgrade . We thanked her while she proceeded with the Check in . I casually asked if the Up grade included a Spa . We were informed that it did not but the Room would be Bigger . I told her that we would like a Spa that we had Booked . It took a few minutes but eventually we received the Keys to our Room. The Room we booked was a King Loft Room with Spa . On entering our room , there was a small Lounge Room with a good size Flat Screen TV . 2 Arm Chairs , an Ottoman and a Work Desk. Stairs leading up to the Bedroom . A sink , Microwave and 2 Fridges . The Larger Fridge contained an Automated Mini Bar . This works so that if you remove any thing from the Fridge you are Automatically Charged to your Credit Card . There is a Sign inside to this effect . The 2 nd Fridge contain Milk and an Ice Maker . There was a Sliding Glass Door to the Bathroom . The Spa was a Small 3 corner Spa . A bench with a Washbasin . And a Toilet with soft Closing Seat & Lid . The Bathroom did Feel Cramped and the Lounge was also quite Compact . Upstairs there was a bit more room to Move . The King Bed was comfortable . The Smart TV took a bit of understanding how to use it as there was no Compendium in the Room . Also , although they had an onsite Bar & Restaurant there was nothing in the Room to indicate that you could order Room Service or Breakfast . or even a Menu . We felt there was no welcoming features available and Guest are left to work things out for them selves . It could be so much better with a few changes and having Guest information in the Room is vital but this seems to have been overlooked .

We had great service for breakfast in the restaurant and room service for dinner. Minestrone soup was delicious and breakfast was appetising.and well presented. Bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed a movie on the TV.

We always stay at this motel when we are in Goulburn. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. The rooms are a good size and are very clean. The motel is less than a kilometre from the main street. This motel has expanded over the years but hasn't lost the personal touch. I highly recommend this motel

We need a 2 bedroom apartment and the motel was able to accommodate us at a quite reasonable price. The rooms were modern, clean & spacious with all the necessary amenities supplied. The beds are super comfy and the showers were modern a delight. Our rooms were at the back of the motel so noise was not an issue. The café for breakfast was brilliant and who can't go a bacon & egg roll for $7 or a big country breakfast for $18

This no-nonsense room was comfortable and clean with easy checkin and checkout processes. Staff were helpful on the phone and also helped with our Stay NSW vouchers. We travelled late at night from Sydney to Goulburn and left early in the morning to go to work in Canberra and didn't have a single problem.

Went to Goulburn stayed at Best Western Plus. On arrival hotel staff very friendly and helpful Could not have been better. Our room was excellent . Breakfast was great. Also had diner at the hotel restaurant which was very good. Will definitely stay there next time.

We stayed for one night, suited our needs, everything we needed to cook a family meal and stay indoors as whether wasn't nice, check in was fast, staff were friendly, everybody said hello including the cleaners and the builders of their renovations

The room exceeded our expectations. Lots of space. Separate area up stairs with the single beds that would be great for kids. Room was perfect temp all night. No noise from other people staying or from the road. Felt very secure during the night too.

Best Western Plus in Goulburn is our regular stopover en route to Sydney. Rooms are welcoming, clean and quiet. Reception staff are very helpful and friendly. Cascades Restaurant now has a sunny terrace-style area which is really lovely for an early evening dinner.

Great motel with large room and comfortable bed. Huge bathroom and great water pressure. Quiet room, very clean, and ample parking. Staff were pleasant and helpful. On-site restaurant with a good breakfast menu. Bacon and egg roll was delicious and value at $7.00. Would definitely recommend staying here.

BRILLIANT!! Welcoming staff, Excellent service, Immaculate rooms with room service or restaurant dining and a good variety on the menu. Fairly close to the centre of town with plenty of off street parking.

Awful experience. Extremely poor communication. Very unwelcoming. Extremely poor customer service. Emma was rude and arrogant. When I escalated to Vickie the General Manager, Vickie was not open to listening and had preconceived ideas and wrong facts. Vickie also had the same rude and arrogant attitude to offer cancelation rather than listening to and resolving what took place. I would have absolutely cancelled and not stayed if I had another choice being a last minute reservation. Also the property is not nearly as new and clean as shown in the pictures. Since the staff could not care about providing decent service, answering this review would be only because their ratings would be impacted not because they care. Even at check out, I handed the keys back to Vickie, there was not even the common courtesy of asking how our stay was demonstrating the same zero care factor.

As a family we travel alot and have stayed in may different place. We had a family room that was amazing. The kids were upstairs in their own space and loved it. I was very comfortable, spacious and we will definitely stay again.

Room was clean and serviced daily which was fantastic. Some of the furniture a bit dated but it appears they may be going through renovations as parts of the bathroom were modern and updated. The air condition in our room wasn't working properly, and blew back warm & stuffy air. However we could open the windows & let fresh air in. Staff were professional & friendly. The dining area modern & fresh and food was great too. They advertised happy hour with $5 drinks and free canopies but this is only for wine and beer and not spirits. That wasn't specified in the advert, so don't get caught out. Altogether our stay was comfortable, if it hadn't been for the air-conditioning problem I would've rated it higher.

Close to town we could walk and leave the car. Friendly helpful staff. We didn't get time to use the restaurant but would have loved to. Maybe next time. Beds were super co.fortable and pillows were the best ever than any other motel we have stayed at..

The reception lady was very friendly, happy and helpful, even with my late arrival from a busy and hectic day of travelling. The service was exceptional and the room was very clean, tidy & quiet. There is always room for me to park my trailer out the back instead of on the street.

Good facilities and no complaints really. Only thing that could be improved is the gravel in the carpark. Makes a bit of noise when cars are coming and going. But the rooms have pretty good soundproofing so its not a deal breaker

The Motel was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed at and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was good size, bed was extremely comfortable. Kitchenette had everything you needed. Needed a night away from all the craziness at home. Not wanting to go too far away ,Goulburn was the winner. Less than a 2hr drive .We stopped at the war museum before checking in. Alot of history to take in. Checked in at 2pm . A lovely lady greeted us and organised our swipe cards and let us know about the free canapes between 5 and 6pm at Cascades restaurant .We booked a 2 bedroom loft apartment. Loved the kitchen and balcony.The heating was great in every room. There was a wall mounted TV in every room. Nice deep bath and big shower with great water pressure .Beds were super comfy. Everything was perfect . We had room service for dinner and breakfast from the on site restaurant (Cascades) and food was so good and not expensive. The meals were delivered fast and by friendly staff. Will definitely be staying again 10/10

We stayed overnight during a road trip from Melbourne to Brisbane and found the hotel the perfect place to stop in the middle. The room with the upstairs area for the kids was perfect and extremely spacious. Beds were comfortable and the kitchenette had everything we needed. We used the Tesla charger also with no issues.

Was not expecting such a nice room. Nice bathtub and overall the room was very spacious and most importantly it was very clean. It had a nice courtyard attached as well. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

The hotel in general was very comfortable and clean. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming upon arrival. The hotel is EV friendly so you can charge your car overnight. I will stay again next time we go on holidays. The hotel has a restaurant on site and the meals are good value I recommend having the grilled barramundi with vegetables.

Great for our family of 6, everything was neat, tidy and clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Adults had privacy downstairs and the kids had a bed each upstairs. Full bath and a TV in each room was fabulous. Kitchen was well equipped if we'd decided to eat in.

Fully self contained room with a small court yard (although we didn't need to use it as it was just an overnight stay where we could sleep ) The room was Extremely clean, the bed was super comfortable with crisp fresh linen, fully stocked mini bar at reasonable prices and free onsite parking. The room was large, clean and comfortable. We could park the car straight outside. The bathroom had lots of space and bench space for all our stuff. The bath was a welcome addition after travelling all day - very relaxing. The bed was huge and had lovely linen. It was a great stay.

We are a family of four, we spent one night in the family room. The hotel location is not in the city centre, however it's only 2 mins drive to the shops. The receptionist, Debbie was kind, the room was spacious and clean. I didn't try the restaurant because we went out for our meals. I would definitely come back again.

Room was great, didn't walk down the street as it was raining but just a short drive to the shops and cafes. Rooms were good, nice beds and good quality inclusions, plus free bottled water. Nice little verandah, staff were very helpful and rooms were serviced daily.

We stayed in a 3BR room which really exceeded our expectations. It was so BIG and very comfortable, modern and clean. Perfect after a long drive and with 3 young children. The staff were really warm and welcoming, meals in the restaurant were fresh and delicious, there is a playroom in the restaurant which children enjoyed. We'll be back.

I stayed 2 nights at Best Western Plus in Goulburn. The staff were very friendly, the room was very good and spotlessly clean, the meals in the adjoining Cascades Restaurant were excellent and very generous. They even have a happy hour. I'd happily stay there again.

Love this place, we travel for business regularly and have tried out a lot of hotels but we have settled on this one when we are in Goulburn we wont be staying anywhere else nothing can beat it on service and comfort and the excellent resturant

2nd time in a King Loft suite which is spacious and comfortable. The property is on the main road but due to the property layout it was very quiet. Spa bath is a bonus. Park at your door - very handy, especially during a pandemic.

We come to Goulburn at least once a year and we always stay at The Best Western. They have a great range of accomodation, we have stayed in their houses and apartments. Always happy. The bed, sheet pillows are great and the 3 bedroom house we had this time had bath sheets, (instead of just towels) which I love. The staff are friendly and breakfast is such great value. We will be back.

We try to stay Best Western wherever we go, especially overseas. Goulburn Best Western is the nicest room yet. The bed was perfect, the ensuite very newly renovated , and the little private courtyard ideal. Best value for money ever!

The room was clean, well maintained and spacious. Receptionist and bar staff were outstanding, friendly, helpful and happy. We have a large vehicle access and parking was no problem. It was a nice touch to have delicious free canapés with our drinks at happy hour.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Great to have air-con, TV and desk in each bedroom. Bathroom amenities were high quality, and free water & bikkies were nice touches. Staff were very professional and welcoming. Having a single bathroom downstairs may be challenging for some residents, but trust other room options available if an issue.

Restaurant + room service is great and always on time especially for breakfast. Also packed lunches available which saves time during the work day. Staff are always friendly during stay and on check in/out

We had a great stay at Goulburn Best Western. The room was lovely and a very comfortable bed. My only complaint is the lack of a recycling bin on the property. I asked one of the cleaning staff if there was one available and she said there was not. Pretty disappointing in this day and age.

I booked 2 rooms last minute for my mum and my sister - my mum needing an accessibility room. Vicki on the desk found 2 rooms next to each other and had then ready to go in no time. The customer service was terrific.

Warm rooms. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Some plates and cups dirty and could of done with some more kitchen utensils. Couch could do with an upgrade. Couldn't hear other guests, which is a bonus. Overall very good hotel. Would stay again if in the area

We stayed overnight on our way south. The receptionist gave us a discount on room to encourage us to stay. In the room the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the shower was amazing. One of the few motels we have stayed in where you can Chromecast your phone or watch Netflix, Stan etc. Then we had dinner and breakfast there and the food was amazing. The Chef on a Thursday night must be very good. Both meals for my wife and I both dinner and breakfast were very good. So for a small discount ( $20 ) we spent another $130 on food and stayed there again on our way home the very next night.

We made a last minute booking for a family of five and were extremely happy with our room. There was a huge loft area for the kids. The room was enormous, very clean and modern. Great value for the price and definitely exceeded our expectations.

I booked this room on route to Goulburn using trip advisor as a guide so thanks to those who provide feedback. We only needed an overnight stay. The room was spacious for a morel room, plenty of space for cases etc. our room had 2 queen beds (for 3 hours of us) , a fully appointed kitchenette and a spacious bathroom with a deep and lovely bath. Very clean and fresh. I liked the passage in front of the room doors which meant we were accessing the room from a warm undercover passage not directly from the car park. There seemed to be some construction in the car park which it made it a little congested and tight but I assume that's temporary. It met all our needs I'd definitely stay again.

Room was fantastic, great value for money, clean and spacious!! Bed was comfy and the chairs were too!! Breakfast at the restaurant was absolutely delicious and the big breakfast was BIG. Staff were so lovely and helpful.

Our last stop over after a 14 day country trip we were pleasantly surprised at the high standard of this motel. From the front door thru to the bathroom it was style and class. Having a large bath plus shower and lighting/ heating in the bathroom was perfect. The size of the fridge, a kitchen sink plus toaster and jug made the stay on a cold night comfortable for a stay in dinner. Ideal for travelling couple, work or easy weekend away in Goulburn and surrounds.

PERFECT family room which accommodated our family of 7. Kids room had 4 single beds, TV and bean bags. Another room with queen bed and TV and 3rd room with King bed, lounge and full kitchen. Everyone had their own space and bedding which created a perfect restful sleeping environment. Super clean and very friendly staff. BONUS KIDS STAY FREE!!! We cant wait to go back again.

Great place to stay, comfortable beds, brilliant shower, the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Food is also great. Best scones I've had in years. Short walkable distance to town.

We had to have an emergency over night stop in Goulburn. A very pleasant stay. Large clean room. Friendly staff and a bonus was the Tesla destination charger. The restaurant was also quite good. Also there was no road noise. We would highly recommend.

After reading the reviews online booked this motel. Well the first impressions was in was undergoing renovations, the building opposite our room was half knocked down with mesh fences. At reception they were not ready for our room so we were moved. We had the room with the disabled bathroom. The room had that fresh cement smell. The room was tidy, bed nice, plenty of pillows, bathroom huge, huge smart tv, free wifi, a kitchenette. When the door to the courtyard was open you could hear traffic noise, closed it was quiet. It was on the outskirts of town. We tried the restaurant once and would not return due to a particular staff member who was rude while offering poor service. The food was very average. Overall some pluses and some minuses.

I have been staying here for a couple of years now and I love it. The service and staff are all amazing. The rooms are spacious and beds comfy. I love how the staff make me feel at home, which it has come to be, as I stay there weekly.

As we were only there for an engagement party for one night, our stay was a bit short. Our room was very clean, comfortable and warm. We would like to explore more of the beautiful Goulburn area and the Best Western would be perfect spot for another stay!

Stayed here for one night as we were just passing through. Busy place which was a good sign. Bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing, spacious and great pressure. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast, not many options but they do a good chocolate milkshake.

Two upstairs bedrooms a good size, all the essentials for the kitchen, good size lounge/dining, great bathroom and handy balcony. Happy Hour great and good choice of dining options. A little way to main shopping area, but not considered an inconvenience.

We decided to stay in Goulburn overnight on our trip from Sydney back to Melbourne and booked this place because of the great reviews... and we've not been disappointed. Very easy to deal with and a lovely and large room. Free water and very cozy bed. The manager went out of his way to help me when I left a bottle of wine in the freezer. He kindly went to the room for me and removed from the freezer to save the bottle.

Motel was way above expectation. The people in reception were very friendly and helpful. The room was very good and I felt the bathroom was as good as at any other hotel or motel I have been to. The Cascade restaurant was superb. I shall return!

Stayed 2 nights in a king room Very satisfied with the quality., cleanliness and space. Accidentally locked my keycard in the room when returning from a late night function and it was not a problem. Breakfast was also good.

The property is on the main road but we found it to be quiet as the rooms are at the rear. The reception was very friendly and helpful. The king loft room was very comfortable for a motel-style property, with separate living downstairs and a lounge upstairs in the bedroom. The stairs up to the bed loft are very steep. Kitchenette facilities are minimal - microwave and small fridge and jug. No bowls if you wanted to BYO cereal. The bathroom is nicely renovated with a shower over the spa bath. Restaurant onsite is closed on Sundays but reception can provide a small range of hot meals to the room. Overall a good property, we would return.

All the Best Western Staff in Goulburn are friendly and helpful. We spent only the one night and wish it was longer. The Breakfast and night meals in the restaurant where excellent and presented perfectly.

I booked into the Best Western plus in Goulburn not knowing where it was or any details, I was pleasantly surprised, its was a large hotel and had a great room and good food, definitely staying here again.

The room exceeded our expectations for the price we paid - it had beautiful decor, was very clean with lots of space. The location was a short walk from shops, parks and Clubs, and I would definitely recommend the motel to others.

My car had broken down and I needed to stay for one night. The service was amazing from checking in to checking out. I was not sure of the area and the great person on the front desk help me out big time. The room was perfect I would fully recommend.

Stayed here for one night. I usually stay at another motel (which also used to be a Best Western) down near the Big Marino. Reception was friendly and quick. I'd booked a spa suite to see what it was like. For $162, it was average. Yes, the bed was comfortable and the place is quiet. As the bedroom is upstairs, you need to go downstairs if you need to use the bathroom. There is no en suite. Room was very clean. The dinner menu selection was not all that inspiring, so I went down the road to the Blue Plate Restaurant and the dinner was very good. A light breakfast was $17. All in all, an average stay with friendly staff, but probably not worth the price paid.

Although this property is starting to show its age it is comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Restaurant serves good meals, early start for breakfast appreciated. Airconditioning worked well on a cool night. Partial gravel driveway area needs sealing.

We would like to acknowledge David, he has bent over backwards for us. After hours of attempting to find an overnight stay for us as we were traveling from Melbourne to get home to Brisbane. Weve been driving for hours and it was nearing night time so we needed a place to stay and we literally tried everywhere and also other nearby suburbs and no one had answered nor replied to us and for obvious reasons... we were calling hotels and motels and caravan parks between the hours of 5-9pm. luckily we found Best Western Plus in Goulburn and David took care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. David got our phone call, and literally made it so easy for us. Even made space in his staff parking area for our big enclosed car trailer to stay over night safely. What a guy. The hotel was so clean and neat, our room was spotless and had everything we needed! The kids loved it. I loved it. Will definitely be back here again, and actually cant wait to go back this year! What a superb town and hotel. p.s... the BEDS. ohhhh the bedsssss! We had the BEST SLEEP!

Great overnite stay with upgrade to deluxe room. Friendly staff on arrival at reception, comfortable bed, and clean facility. Negative was power point to air conditioner was lit up light a Christmas tree all night, but understand also, that maybe it was a safety feature and it served the purpose as a night light to the bathroom facilities downstairs. Totally surprised with this stay, we were so pleased with every aspect, we stayed again on the way back home. So clean and excellent TVs, tasteful decor, no dank smells, and great food...the apprentice cooked our rib eyes to perfection! And the price is on point

Comfortable stay in modern room with good amenities. The in room spa was a delight after a long day on the motorcycle in a heat wave. The air conditioner was quiet and efficient which was also much appreciated.

Very spacious 2 bed apartment, clean, great bathroom which was more like a luxury hotel. A little bit strange that the bedrooms had key card locks on them as we were concerned our child might lock themselves in but no real issue as long as we kept the key with us. When looking to stay somewhere in Goulburn, this place caught our eye. The loft apartments really looked good in the ads so we decided to give them a go. Upon arrival, not everything was as great as we had hoped. The room was much smaller than we had seen advertised online - however, it was very clean and comfortable. And it had a massive bathroom!! The living space downstairs was barely big enough to swing a cat, to be honest. It was very cramped for 3 people. There is a desk and office chair in one corner and two armchairs on another wall. . And the armchairs were a weird choice - two hard chairs that weren't comfortable to sit in for more than half an hour. In fact, each morning, I sat in the office chair to read. It was far more comfortable. The little kitchenette was, well, little. Situated under the stairs to the loft, there is a bench with a fridge underneath. Very awkward to use the sink, especially to refill the kettle, in such a small space. The bathroom, on the other hand, was really big. A spa bath with shower, double hand basins, and a toilet - the room was probably 15 feet long. Maybe more. A huge mirror that ran the length of the room as well. It was quite stunning when compared to the pokey living room. Upstairs, the sleeping arrangements were very good also. A very comfortable bed with fresh linen was a blessing. We have been to some places with some below-average beds/bedding but this was a very pleasant sleeping experience. Even the fold-out sofa that our daughter slept on must have been pretty good as she didn't wake up early at all!! That's a good thing. There is a heap of space upstairs for luggage, there is a TV on the wall as well. Nice sized window to allow light and fresh air into the room. The lady in reception was quite helpful, the cleaners were very polite and got their jobs done with minimal fuss. In review - we really enjoyed our sleeping arrangements (and, let's face it, that's really all we need at a motel) and our bathing/cleanliness options. The living space was quite a letdown for a family of 3. Would we be back? Certainly, but we would just find a room with a bigger living space (if they exist!)

Great size room. I love the seating in the room, it's nice to have a seat you can watch TV in that's nice and comfy. Surprised to see a kitchen sink, which means you don't have to fill the kettle in the bathroom. Also has toaster and microwave. Nice comfy bed and very clean room We will come back again!

Excellent as always, I've stayed here by myself on numerous occasions, I have also stayed here with my partner. Clean rooms, excellent service, and the meals in the restaurant are delicious. The onsite bar is a great place to relax after a long ride or drive.

We were tired after a hectic week away from home. Check in was easy, and our room was large, clean and well equipped. Had a nice area to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. Pizza was on the menu for dinner and it was hot with lots of toppings.

Well it is the new building. So everything is clean and new. We had the upstairs family room without the spa but with a kitchenette. Liked - clean, free parking near the room, plenty of space with 4 single and 1 king bed. On-site Restuarant. What could be better - they call it full kitchen - it is a kitchenette, but still can't complain much about it, no washing machine in room, still not a complaint. The carpet has a mild smell to it , needs shampooing!

The oysters are okay nothing special had to add salt . The chicken breast was great and juicy but the gravy was horrible . Ans the rack of ribs was the biggest let down ever . Could have pulled my teeth out before pulling the pork off the bone . Not a excellent experience for the price

Situated within a kilometre of the main street of Goulburn, this modern and recently refurbished hotel is a pleasure to stay at. As a regular visitor to the hotel, I have seen the modernisation and upgrading of the facilities in the last 12 months or so. The establishment is clean, has good internet and a very good variety of rooms to suit all needs and budgets. As a professional who travels regularly I am always happy to see this this on my itinerary.

We were very happy with our super large and clean king apartment. We loved the 5-6 happy hour and everyone was so friendly. We stayed for a delicious dinner that came out so fast and extra large servings. Very happy with our stay and we will be back.

First time staying at this motel and very pleased with the standard. We had a 2 level suite which offered a very comfortable bed and spacious sitting area. Very clean, superior bathroom facilities and lovely fluffy towels. Add to this the excellent Cascades restaurant and you have a very attractive package. Highly recommend!

Hi, We recently had the pleasure of staying at this motel and I must say what an amazing surprise. The marble bathroom was huge with a full size bath and separate shower completely enclosed in a wet area. Bed was super soft and staff were lovely. Thank you for looking after us.

It was a very convenient place to stay. Clean, modern, organised, rooms for kids upstairs and couples retreat downstairs. The only down turn would have to be the bathroom roller door that was heavy and difficult to slide, other than that, spectacular. Quiet surroundings, great bed, comfy pillows.

I always stay at Best Western Plus when on business trips to Goulburn , nice rooms, in house restaurant and modern en suites. The staff are very accommodating for requests and can even provide packed lunches on request for the busy day ahead!

Stayed here on several trips. Rooms are very comfortable, well equipped, clean, and secure. Staff provide great service. Recommend it for a reliable stop off along a road trip like us! Haven't tried the restaurant yet but there are always several people enjoying meals there so will next time.

I stayed at the King Loft Spa Suite, loved it. From the friendly staff to the clean/comfortable rooms (not to mention the bubbly spa). Best Western is the best you'll find in Goulburn. Plenty of parking space, and the rooms comes with a little kitchenette. You also get 2hours free gym access at a local fitness centre.

Had a double queen room with kitchen and courtyard. Very modern, comfortable and clean. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. This was my 5th or 6th stay at Best W Goulburn in the last 2 years.

A friendly warm check in and from this point on the service standards never disappointed. The room has all and more what hotels offer . Full bar fridge alongside of fridge with milk or great for people that need space for food & drinks that's bought in from outside motel. Large bathroom ideal should one want to play football in or who just love the space with deep bath and full length shower that runs long side of bath.Bath room tiles are clean with definitely no marks of mould and grouting very clean Great motel and 5 stars all the way.

Stayed in the family suite which was very comfortable, spacious and well equipped. It would have been good to have a bathtub I think most families with young children would prefer a tub so I was a bit surprised that there was only a shower but apart from that I couldn't fault it.

I make a point of staying here whenever I come to Goulburn. The rooms are first class. The service and the facilities are awesome. Not to mention the 5:00pm happy hour! There is a pool and spa and also complimentary membership to local gym.

Have stayed here 3 times in the 4 weeks, great stop over point to avoid the headache of Sydney. Comfortable rooms and well priced, Room service meals are absolutely amazing, staff were awesome, and was very happy to see a Tesla Charger available for my use. Definitely be staying here more often.

Unexpectedly received complimentary upgrade to a spa suite, very comfortable bed, well appointed room, fabulous huge hot breakfast, with great service. The location was quiet and easy to find, easy parking.

I just stayed here one night and booked through BW direct for best price. Reception was very good, friendly staff. Room was large, very comfortable, chairs, bed and great bathroom. I did not eat at the establishment, preferred to eat down town. Highly recommend this place.

On arrival the staff were very friendly and a quick check in. The room was very clean. The bedroom upstairs was very quiet and couldn't hear any road noise The bath was one of the highlights of the stay. Definitely would stay again!

Really helpful staff comfy bed excellent breakfast. Great staff very clean rooms really love the location very close to town. One of the best hotels that I've stayed in in the Goulburn area would highly recommend

This was my fourth time staying at Best Western Plus Goulburn, but my first in the newly added front building. The bed was super comfy, the carpet luxurious and the complimentary bottles of water a welcome surprise. It is always a pleasure staying here, the reception staff are always very nice. We had to work in the evening so went to the restaurant at opening. Our meals came out very quickly, allowing us to be in and out quickly. Thanks.

My family and I just stayed at the best western in Goulburn for the weekend. The room was huge the bathroom was deluxe, it was warm, clean, and definitely exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the friendly staff who were all happy to help with anything we needed.

Stayed in one of their newly refurbished family apartment rooms located on the upper floor. We were travelling enroute to Melbourne from Northern NSW. The apartment was ideal as we were travelling as part of a family group of 7. The apartment had everything required. Special mention for the extremely comfortable beds and well appointed and equipped kitchenette. The rooms were very clean and quiet. Unfortunately the onsite restaurant was closed due to COVID-19 restrictions - however room service more than covered our requirements.

We find that this is an ideal stop for us as we travel between Melbourne and Sydney. We ordered room service for dinner and it was delicious. The accommodation is very comfortable and clean. Staff are most welcoming.

We (family of four) had been stuck in Goulburn previously getting back to Sydney from Wodonga when the Hume Highway had been closed due to the bushfires. It was black with smoke, lots of people and it was late. We called into the Best Western Plus for a room, however, as we had our dog with us they couldn't put us but rang and got us into a dog freindly place for the night. Fast forward and doing a quick trip to Wodonga to visit my elderly Mum minus dog this time and needed to put up for the night due to tiredness. The Best Western Plus staff ensured we had a great room (queen bed in studio style downstairs, four beds upstairs in loft bedroom, plenty of space) at a good price with very nice pizzas and fish and chips for room service at about 930 pm just after we got there. A good sleep (nice beds) topped off a good night to provide a very enjoyeable trip to Wodanga. Thanks Vicky and Greg (think I got it right) Great art work by the way!!

Stayed 3 nights for work related reason, the rooms are modern with very comfortable bed, kitchenette , full size fridge, dishwasher, marble tiles bathroom and bath/spa.Very clean and modern with decent sized TV

Excellent service, friendly helpful staff. Great buffet dinner for large group upstairs in private room with own bar . Clean, good sized rooms. Great value for money. Highly recommended. We have now held a large function here for 3 yrs - very happy.

Really nice stay at BW Goulburn Rooms are nice and good internet, breakfast available etc Could perhaps do with some more TV options in room, such as Foxtel or streaming services, but that's about the only downside I can think of

I have booked this place through work and it's A nice and clean place to stay. Staff are nice and helpful. I will stay here again. It has got a pool and spa between the buildings but I didn't get a chance to use it so can't comment about it.

After a long day driving, was so nice to arrive at a really nice place to stay. The room was big, it was clean, tidy and had a kitchen should you choose to cook. We decided to see the menu, but upon looking it over there wasn't really anything for gluten free vegetarian or vegan. Decided to ask if they had any choices to suit our needs. The chef said, tell me what you want and I'll make it. My husband had stir fry noodles, vegan. I had a beautiful filling salad with feta and chips. We were very impressed with the food and that the chef was willing to work with our dietary needs. Very well priced also. I would highly recommend this place to stay.

I do work near Goulburn often and always stay at the Best Western. The rooms are always very clean and the staff always friendly. The food is great next door and Wayne is always happy to take your breakfast egg order (Thanks mate!). The pool and spa are a nice treat after a long day on the road. Highly recommend this place to anyone travelling through.

I have a semi regular occasion to need to stay here for work purposes. I`m always encouraged when I hear that I am required to work in Goulburn because I know that I never have an issue with this Motel. I just spent the past 2 weeks in a large family room that has 4 single beds upstairs from the King bed downstairs. The size of the rooms, the appointments, quality of bathrooms and soaps etc, everything is simply high class and high quality. I cant wait to head back down there.

Overnighted enroute to Newcastle. Late arrival and extra ice no problem for this top service establishment. Staff are the best. Spent a quiet night in a great bed, and breakfast was 5 star. Will def be back.

Heading to Melbourne from the Mid North Coast, we decided to have an overnighter in Goulburn to break up the trip, after driving for 10 hours in oppressive smoke (thanks Scott Morrison PM) and heat. The room was great, two story, air-con, a spa, it was great! There is an indoor pool, which was lovely, though the spa wasn't working. It was a welcome respite on a long drive.

The best western Goulburn is very clean, lovely friendly hosts and great breakfast. I would recommend to family's travelling through as well as business customers in the area. I've been back and every stay has been great

Everything about this motel is first class and is one of the best value motels in country NSW. Great staff and friendly service. Cannot fault the rooms and amenities. The bar and restaurant offer good food at reasonable prices and the daily happy hour is treat. all the above are just some of the reasons we always stay here when we visit the region.

Compy Bed, Bath with rail to get in & out & two fridges, who could want more. Just an overnight stay but would have happily stayed more. Staff were loverely and miore than helpful. Would definately stay again.

Based on the photos we had great expectations for the Best Western Plus but upon arrival, we were a bit disappointed. One of the buildings was missing a wall and obviously was undergoing a major renovation. Our building was nice but had a used feel to it. It would have been nice to know about the renovation beforehand. Our 2 story room had 4 singles and a king bed (all very comfy) & was quirky. It had a lovely kitchen, old-style nice furnishings, a bathroom in the middle with a huge bath but no curtain, so when you used the bathroom everyone saw everything. My family are open but maybe not that open.:-) It was a nice walk to the war memorial for those who are moderately fit. Great value for money

This is a great option in Goulburn. We have now stayed three times during regular road trips from Sydney to Melbourne. The property is a good way through renovation and the new rooms we've stayed in are very new and spacious, including with big and nicely appointed bathrooms - as well as with kitchenette. I recently left some things in the fridge on the way down and was very grateful that when I collected the containers a month later from reception on our way back through they were there waiting and had been washed by staff.

Best Western Goulburn is an excellent hotel with very attentive staff. The restaurant is fantastic with great options for adults and children. The management went out of their way to welcome us and make us feel valued. Highly recommend staying here when in Goulburn.

Stayed IN the queen kitchenette apartment. Had everything we needed for our stay. Super clean. Plenty of room for our toddler including an enclosed court yard. Looking forward to staying again soon this month

We have stayed at Best Western Plus Goulburn twice now. The service is excellent, rooms are top class and we have such a good sleep while travelling through. We cannot fault the quality of the reception we receive. Will be staying again soon. Highly recommended!!

We stayed at the Best Western in Goulburn purely based on reviews and feedback. We (family of 2 adults, 2 young kids) stayed in a deluxe Two-Bedroom Apartment. The bedrooms were upstairs in large rooms with comfortable beds. Downstairs we had a full kitchen with all the essentials, large dining/sitting room and full bathroom (shower, bath, loo). We used the indoor pool and spa that the kids loved. The building / decor could use a refresh (think its all from 1990s) however no complaints from us.

Just what we needed for our stay. Close to a church where we attended a wedding. The room had everything we required for a pleasant stay. Good sized room and bathroom with a bath. Staff were very nice and helpful.

We enjoyed our stopover at Best Western. Large sized room for my family with kitchenette and full sized fridge. Very neat, clean and comfortable. The pool's location was a bit strange (in the middle of the car park). The onsite restaurant was very convenient for tired travellers. We would stay again as it was great value.

The double room was great value for our family of 4, and the swimming pool the perfect way to refresh & relax after the drive from Melbourne with 2 little ones. The restaurant meal was terrific, and family friendly.

Could not be happier with the accommodation, food, staff and location. Accommodation - various options to suit travelling party. Food in the restaurant was really nice. All staff - friendly, excellent customer service, nothing was too much trouble. Cost - very reasonable. Goulburn was a stop over from Brisbane to Melbourne for us. The town is full of history and all services you could need. We will spend more time there on our next trip. Well done Best Western!

Staff very friendly and very helpful they are also very dedicated working during the Christmas break. Our room was very clean and very well presented for great relaxing quiet sleep. Great selection of fresh fruit and fresh cooked hot Breakfast.

For Goulburn this is an expensive motel. We have asked for a particular room the last 3 times we have visited and not got it even after booking months in advance. Unfortunately it is the only motel in Goulburn with seperate bedrooms for our family. We are basing this review as a comparison to other motels we have stayed in not just in Goulburn.

The customer service here is the wow factor!!! Super helpful lady on reception and all staff have been so wonderful. Room was great!!! Wasn't expecting much from the bathroom but was pleasantly surprised. Have been nagging hubby about being the best hotel we've stayed at on our trip to Sydney in ages!

Welcomed with a smile. Quick Check In. Very impressed with Rooms on offer. Able to secure dinner after arrival as restaurant open until 10pm. Staff in restaurant also very welcoming and helpful. Great location for Train enthusiasts as a lot of refurbishments get carried out in the area. Great overall experience.

I spend about 75 nights a year in motel rooms and this is far and away one of my favorites. Clean and tidy rooms, professional and courteous staff, good food (especially the home made muesli ), good value. What more could you want?

Very comfortable and clean room, on the ground floor,....spacious and in excellent condition. We had a nice lounge area and a king size bed and a microwave, sink and largish fridge. We enjoyed a lovely dinner brought to our room and a very nice buffet breakfast in the restaurant the next morning. The room was reasonably priced too. I'd stay there again.

Friendly staff and gad a warm welcome. Room was well appointed - clean and tidy. Stairs to bedroom was the only draw back, fairly step/small steps with bathroom downstairs. Quiet motel - looked like it was to capacity over the 3 days we stayed and no noise was noticable. Breakfast was 1st class with plenty of choices.

Our stay was amazing we were there for the weekend for a wedding and could not fault anything From the first moment we stepped onto the premises nothing was a problem there was a staff member always willing to assist. The food was exceptional. Sleeping was amazing rooms were perfect

Great King room, at a very economical price. Room included spa, sink, microwave, usual amenities and was split into upper and lower levels. There was a TV on the upper and lower levels. The room was very neat clean and tidy.

Stayed at the Best Western Plus Goulburn for a work trip. Room was spacious, clean, modern and had plenty of power points for our camera/video gear. Wi-Fi speeds were good. Bathroom was spacious and water pressure - excellent. Continental breakfast was also excellent and service throughout the hotel from the restaurant to the check in/check out process was great. Probably the only thing that was a bit weird and difficult was the swimming pool which is right bang in the middle of the car park, so having to thread a car past bollards and the swimming pool structure isn't the best. Location-wise, it's about an 800m walk to the centre of town, and a short distance drive to a majority of areas in town. In summary, a great stay and would stay there again.

I was lucky enough to be offered an upgrade room and was given the king suite with spa. This room exceeds all your needs and one of the best room that I have stayed at any motel as a regular traveller through out NSW. Thank you. Mark Sydney Australia

My husband and I stay every month for a small business trip. We are always amazed at the consistent quality of service, cleanliness and comfort. The staff are here are the most helpful and friendly that we've experienced anywhere! They always go out of their way to make sure you enjoy every aspect of your stay, and we always do!

We stayed one night here on the way back to Melbourne. It's half way between Melb and Coffs Harbour. Our room was 2 story with a kitchenette. It was spotless and very well equipped. There is a restaurant and bar on site but we ended up cooking in the room. Really nice MOR products in the bathroom. The indoor pool and spa are very tired looking but was still pleasant to jump in for a swim after the drive.

Room and facilities excellent. Very quiet, easy to use heating. Huge TV easy to use and good reception. Restaurant food and service were very good but recommend to eat early (6ish) and book because local groups use it and the kitchen can get busy.

Room was very nice. Comfy bed and well appointed. Staff very friendly. Foyer and outside areas look old and a bit neglected. Invited for free canapés and $5 drinks which was a nice touch but the bar/fireplace area wasn't really appealing as it looked a bit ‘brown' and run down so we stayed in our room. Very enjoyable stay though.

Would be the best accomodation we have ever stayed. Not sure what the other rooms were like however the 3 bedroom house was great. Each room had a large wall mounted tv in them which was great for the kids.

Stopover on way to Canberra. Arrived late but efficient and friendly welcome and quickly into the room. Parking right outside the block and spacious room with simple kitchen and good night's sleep and swiftly away in the morning

The service was excellent from start to finish. All the staff my husband and I dealt with were friendly and ready and willing to help with a smile. The apartment exceeded our expectations. The finishes were excellent and the apartment was very spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and inviting. The kitchen was beautiful and very well stocked. We had an excellent nights sleep in the comfortable bed. The bathroom was spacious and the wi fi was excellent with no drop outs or other issues. We had an excellent buffet dinner in the restaurant. The food was well presented, there was a wide selection of food and most importantly, it was delicious ! My husband loved the prawns in particular. The staff in the restaurant were efficient and helpful without being in your face. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend Best Western Plus for a great experience.

A great motel - large rooms with comfy beds, food unbelievable in restaurant and a huge buffet breakfast. Also has power recharge for electric cars and guest laundry. Very personable staff ready to greet you.

From check in to check out this is one of the nicest motels we've stayed in. Friendly owners and staff, they really made us feel welcome and at home. Really comfortable beds, great bathroom and amenities. We stayed in a courtyard room with kitchenette which was very well stocked with tea, coffee, etc. Had a lovely dinner at their restaurant, Cascades. Unfortunately all deserts had dairy, which is a no no for us, so the chef prepared us a delicious fruit and sorbet platter for dessert. Our special thanks to chef! Highly recommend this place, excellent in every way.

Loved the heated pool and spa and the buffet breakfast. Wide choice of delicious breakfasts- one of is vegetarian and one not and we were both happy. Staff were friendly and helpful.On the downside- bedroom was up some steep stairs and bathroom/toilet was on the lower level. Bed was comfortable. Price was good booked through hotel.com and included breakfast and wifi. It was a coldish day when we arrived and the upstairs heater had been left on to warm up the rooms beautifully. There was also a downstairs heater. The spa bath in the unit was nice but rather small for two people.

Part of a chain but run with a human touch & unusual efficiency. Good value for money. Daily "Happy Hour" in a well-appointed lounge is a bonus. Only problem is narrow-access carparking for some rooms. And access from the road is circuitous (round thr block) if travelling northwards in Goulburn.

Room was great, well appointed, spacious, quiet and very clean. Beds were comfortable and the lighting was suitable to be able to read in bed. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking can be a little tight when heavily booked. I would book here again.

Fantastic room, brand new had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Loved the courtyard for our young children and all the little extra touches. Free water, milk, nice toiletries. Will definitely be back!

We annually take a 2 bedroom apartment while attending a weekend of meetings and it is always up to expectations. Clean with all we needed iron, board, kitchenette with dishwasher and hotplates (minibar if needed) and a restaurant on site.
