Best Western Plus Paradise Hotel Dilijan

My family and I only stayed for one night, as we only did a day trip to Dilijan from Yerevan, but it was such a lovely hotel! I would definitely come back and stay longer. Such beautiful views from the room balconies, as it's right against the forest. There is also a pool, a game room, and a sauna, but I didn't make use of those. I sat on the balcony reading for a bit. It's a very spacious hotel, with a lavish breakfast buffet provided in the morning. It also had free on-site parking, an elevator, and was very easy to navigate. Since I was travelling with older members of my family, Best Western was one of the few hotels in the area that were easily accessible (e.g., elevator, no required stairs, etc.). It's right off the highway, so easy to get to, and a short drive into the main area of Dilijan where there are several great restaurants!

Nice hotel with spacious rooms and bathroom. Beds were comfortable but on the softer side. The dinner buffet was very good with many entrée options...as was the breakfast. Good wifi connections. We stayed one night on tour on the way to Georgia.

Pastoral peace of heaven, hotel in mid of forest all green arround,, hotel have 2 parts, new and old so make sure youre on right spot. However some hot water problems. Facilities and swimming pools are beautifull. The service is good and friendly

This cosy and comfortable hotel offers all thpes of amenities for you to fully enjoy your vacation whether on business or family trip. Food is delicious, service is high quality! The area of the hotel is huge with open and closed swimming-pools where you can enjoy your day!

Below average in every aspect !! No AC in all the rooms !! We requested for upgrade !! Got AC and then it's dropping all the time !! Rooms are not cool at all !! Staff helps but that's not enough !! Could not sleep for two days !! Pls check before booking ..

Family rooms are very large and spacious - they need refurbishing but we saw some painters working on other rooms so hopefully this will be done too. When we stayed we were literally the only guests at the hotel, and the staff provided a great service. Dinner was very good and breakfast was one of the biggest food spreads I've ever seen. Has a little play-room for the kids, and the pool outside looked nice when the season is right. Kids loved being completely alone in the hotel!

this is a hotel in Dilijan, where there is everything for rest, competent breakfast, lunch, prepared not so that you just eat a piece of something and leave, but that you have something to compare with the quality of service. If there is a hotel, everything is here.

Hotel welcomes us with fresh juice and wide smiles. We were here for our wedding anniversary and surprisingly for us the reservation department had kept that information, and when we arrived our room was already decorated. We enjoyed every moment here. Lots of love everyone who made our visit so special.

It was one of the best weekends we had in this hotel. We liked everything: room was clean and neat, food was really delicious made with the best traditions of the Armenian cuisine, the wellness area, i.e pool, gym, sauna and jacuzzi was a dream after a long working week.

I am very pleased by the quality of the services that the hotel provided: rooms were nicely decorated and furnished, breakfast was delicious, swimming pools were clean (though we were there in summer and there were a lof of people), staff was friendly.

We liked everything here. I visited with my family, but the hotel is a nice suit for couples, friendly gatherings and business meetings. Highly Recommend. P.S A small tip - there are Family Rooms which have separate entrance with cozy balconies right next to the swimming pool. Book that rooms whenever you have the chance. They are not many in number and almost always all of them are booked.

I asked to move from my first room to another room because of an irritating buzz. The room I moved to was only slightly better. I reduced some of the buzz in the new room by disconnecting the mini-fridge. I had to go to the front desk to help me with my TV, turns out it was not even plugged in. Besides these issues, the room really felt dated. Some of the tile grouting around the bathroom was lose. The bathroom shower water really emptied slow and I ended up with a puddle of water around the tub. You can feel how dated the hotel is by just walking on the carpet to the room, it felt worn out. If you have an option, I suggest you stay somewhere else.

The room cleaning was organsied at a very poor level. We arrived at dirty room and asked several timea to clean it properly. No respective action was taken by hotel administration. The staff was too rude in communication. The reception was very hard to reach by phone.

The receptionists were professional liers. The room service was bad, and they don't provide with regular water. Untrained and very bad waiters. Overall: Bad Mood! Rude Staff! I will NEVER stay here again!

Excellent hotel with excellent location in Dilijan, extremely clean & comfortable . It is not our first visit to this hotel, but with every visit we discover something new here( a new pool!!!) Would definetely recommend this hotel to everybody! The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisors Ashot and Lena deserve a special thanks. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. We took this hotel because we were looking for a hotel with air-condition. we got a room on the 7th floor, the only elevator got stuck . The air condition in the room didn't work , the room was 29 Celsius , the hotel didn't have a solution. we opened the balcony door in order to cool the room. The room was noisy all night due to the road near by, with the balcony door opened it made the noise worse. The drainage in the shower didn't work well. The dinner in the restaurant was very good, Breakfast was fine. The outdoor pool closed at 9:00 PM and opened at 10:00 am , it didn't fit our schedule so we didn't use it.

Big hotel in the middle of nowhere. Very comfortable common areas and restaurant was good for dinner. The rooms are big but need a refurbishment. We were on the third floor and it took over 10 minutes to get hot water for a shower. It was quietest place we stayed on our 18 day trip. The bed was sunken in the middle so we both felt like we were sleeping in a hole. It's a beautiful property but it needs some TLC.

One of the most relaxing and beautifully located hotels. Room service and breakfast thoughtfully prepared and presented. Staff were very welcoming and helpful... always professional and genuinely concerned about guests comfort and satisfaction. Room was impeccably clean and well heated and cosy. This was on the top of the list of best stays ever. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. We reached hotel very early. The staff was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at 11a.m. without any charges. If you are used to high quality service, then this is definitely your place. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Dilijan.

Pool was dirty , hotel rooms was dirty , room was so old ! The breakfast so cheap ! Look another hotel do not take it for pool , pool is dirty ! Stuff sometimes will trying to cheat you with checks writing somethings in check that you didn't ordered so be careful! Before chosing this hotel thing about what I said ! And cancel your plans with this hotel otherwise it will be your worst vacation!

It was a great hotel located in an unforgettable natural beautiful place that I really love and enjoyed. The friendly, polite and helpful staffs was a big positive highlight for this hotel. I hereby would like to appreciate of all good staffs of the hotel specially the two nice receptionist lady, Ms. Tatev and Ms. Lusine for all of their kindly attention and excellent cooperation. I really wish to visit this hotel again.

This hotel aims to please and offers a very special welcome. It's my favourite hotel in Armenia. We were on an intense tour and so didn't have a huge amount of time here but what time we did spend here was lovely. The staff are professional, eager to help and make you feel very welcome. We were almost in tears at breakfast when we saw the spread of food they lay out for guests. Coming from Scotland where such breakfasts are now prohibited the buffet selection was a sight for sore eyes! Hotel was bursting with holiday makers for the weekend, lots of families too and I believe they have activities for them. If you want to enjoy the peace of the area then this place would be excellent outside of school holidays but it was lovely to see the Armenian tourists all relaxing and enjoying their time here with good food and wine.

I had the opportunity to stay again at BWP Paradise Hotel Dilijan, I had a great experience. The team as usual did their best to please and provide the best service possible, with always ampathy, attention and smile. The room was perfectly clean and done at the time I asked for. This was very convenient as I had to do some work in my room. Thank you BWP Paradise..my favourite hotel in Armenia.

We stayed at this hotel for a few times, and we always liked it and recommended it to our family and friends, but this time our expectations were more than met. Rooms were spotless, sterilized, all the rules of Covid 19 are kept. What comes to breakfast and lunch, there are no words, everything was yummy. We had a surprising romantic dinner for our wedding anniversary which was organized by one of our friends with the help of hotel staff. We will definitely come back again.

I rated this hotel long ago, yet in 2016. My opinion was good not worth mentioning some minor deficiencies. Now I have to state that the hotel has improved much: I could hardly find any problem with the rooms, service, bed quality or food. I was a bit disappointed with the room size, but this was a business tour, so, I didn't have a chance to select a room myself. The bigger conference room was a bit dark, the smaller one with a great view was just perfect. Safety measures related to COVID were also followed.

Pros: Spacious room with big windows. Good breakfast. Cons: Bed mattress was poor. May be this will work when you are alone and can be in the center of queen size bed. There is a picture with pool tables but actually there are no. Only table tennis with poor rackets.

I had a day with my wife in this hotel. Overall impressions were good. But I have a couple of remarks. Pros Oitstanding outdoor pool with a perfect view of Dilijan forests. The water was very appealing for swimming. The breakfast was one of the bests I encountered during my trips. The wide selection of tasty meals to choose from. Nice little Christmas trees which in the future will grow and make the surroundings of hotel even more beautiful. The restaurant offered tasty food to and the waiters were nice and attentive. Cons Indoor wellness center was poor. Sauna didn't work properly. Was not heating much to feel like in sauna. Although the inner pool was big enough some indoor repairment works needs to be done. Were a few chairs for resting around the pool. The laying places were missing. Indoor welness center is the biggest negative side of this hotel. The bathtub of our suit was not working properly (maybe was just our case). The pictures of Prague in the coridors and room were surprising and nice. We are lovers of Prague. Overall recommended for a day or two. Thank you.

In new reality when we have to search for vacation places in Armenia, this one of best places to stay. Special than thanks for carbonara pasta, probably the best one I have ever tasted. Also special thanks for A+ level COVID prevention procedures.

sauna was cold and dirty and with a bad smell, no tooth brush and pasta, no excuse at all when we complaint, no breakfast menu,we had to ask for everything, they did not bring themseves or proposed. This hotel is to be avoided!

On our way from Yerevan to Tbilisi, our Brazilian group tour stopped for two nights at the "Best Western Plus Paradise Hotel Dilijan". When we arrived, it was raining and the bus parked on the drive-way, but a bit far from the main entrance. We had to gather our luggage and run to the Front Desk. Room, service and restaurant were just average. Nothing special to be remembered or to be considered unforgettable! Just average. But surrounded by some of the most impressive monasteries of Armenia: "Tatev", "Goshavank", "Haghartsin" and "Sevanavank". Enjoy!

I strongly encourage this hotel to improve their service and really accept the drawbacks of the hotel, which spoiled our nice weekend. The price of 65 thousand charged for that nasty, dark, dirty carpet, old broken furniture room was a total disgrace. My mistake was not to check the room before check in and to pay in advance!!!! Walking to the pool through the lobby or the dining hall is another disgrace to your clients. Pool area is a total disaster! The game zone in this humid area is also terrible. The dressing rooms should by placed at the entrance, otherwise clients walk in in their shoes to the pool area (no other option). The sauna is also located by the entrance door. Cleaning up the breakfast soooooo quickly sharp at 11:00 that I could not grab a coffee, was another bad attitude, especially on 8th of March. Without informing the guests about the last option to grab food. It is not a business hotel, but should be as a resort! Nothing complementary on the 8th of Match for the ladies. Very bad experience.

The hotel is very clean and located in very beautiful area under forest. The staff is very polite. Meal very fresh and tasty. There is open pool, comfortable and clean. Indoor pool and sauna, Turkish and Finland.

I'm impressed by everything. The non-smoking rooms were so clean and comfortable. 3-time food on day is full of dishes and desserts and you can't make a decision about what you want to eat finally. All the staff is very heartwarming. I would like to separate the specialist who identified as Edik. He doing as a pro.

Stayed here during summer holidays with my family. The suite was spacious with a large living room and a bedroom and balcony (with one bathroom). The breakfasts and dinners provided a variety of choice of food. The staff was friendly and helpful, spoke fluent Russian. It is a convenient place to get to the Dilijan city center or to go hiking

But really enjoyed the food both for dinner and breakfast. Cute bar that served all kinds of drinks. room was nice and we had no complaints. Didn't leave the hotel as we got in late and left fairly early the next am. .

We have stayed numerous times at Best Western Paradise and it never fails to please. The hotel is clean and tidy, the staff are friendly and welcoming - helpful, too. The rooms are not large, but no smaller than any other typical hotels that we have stayed in. They are clean and tidy, like the rest of the hotel. There is free tea and coffee and that is really useful if you don't fancy going out to eat. The breakfast is good, with plenty of choice. All in all, a really nice place to stay.

The room was just gorgeous and immaculate. The staff throughout the hotel was polite and respectful. The receptionist girls were very attentive and helpful, they helped me with pills as I had a headache. The pool area and grounds are also very nice. Definitely, I'll stay here again when I'm in Dilijan.

The hotel looks ok at first, but the rooms are very dark and the place doesn't seem well kept. Phones don't work for room to room dial. When you call the reception, they tell you to dial directly as they can't transfer the call. I asked them to please call my travel buddy to wake him up at a different room, she said she would, but didn't. On top of all this, I went to the bathroom next to the sauna and got locked inside, as the door got stuck. I was very happy not to be alone down there, as I would not have been able to get out on my own. Maintenance had to come in and take the lock apart in order to open the door. When I got out, I went to the front desk to make a formal complaint and had to hear from the receptionist that 'she thought it was MY MISTAKE THAT I GOT LOCKED in the bathroom' and there was nothing she could do. I haven't seen the other hotels in the area, but if you can choose, I'd recommend a different one. It makes me doubt that this is a Best Western, but if it is, it's definitely not a plus!

This was a great surprise to us since many other hotels in Armenia and Georgia were very disappointing. The room was spotless and large. Beds were comfortable and the view from our terrace was gorgeous! We only stayed one night so unfortunately did not have time to explore the beautiful surroundings. Dinner and breakfast were both extremely good and the staff was helpful and pleasant. The only negative thing I can write is that we did not have the opportunity to stay longer!!

We stayed here one night. We had booked a junior suite as on the website they were the only rooms with baths. We did not get a bath. We had a huge reception room, with piano (looked as though it was left from the communist era) and a bedroom. All dark furniture and bad lighting. The most uncomfortable bed I have slept in and very cold. The room smelt of a mix of fly killer and artificial room freshener to such a strong effect that it was overpowering. The restaurant was full of tour groups. The food was buffet, night and breakfast, but not too bad.

Transit hotel used to seeing guests for short stay, we arrived late and left early but was enough to experience the poor standard of service. The only hotel in Armenia that I used where there was a 10% service charge on a bottle of wine with buffet dinner.

Food 10/10 Service 10/10 View 8/10 Hotel is placed in front of an astonishing view of Dilijan and its “wildlife”, but the noises of cars and trucks near the hotel is time to time terrible. Room 7/10 Beds are excellent.We slept very well.But there is no air conditioning and are bunch of mosquitoes and other insects getting inside our room. Promise we'll be back!

Overpriced low quality hotel which doesn't qualify to be 4+ star at all!!!! You pay $200+ for a night and get nothing but a dirty room. Check in time is 2pm but when we arrived they just started cleaning the room and we actually checked in at about 3pm. The sofa in family room is ripped the ceiling is cracked no air conditioning. I won't recommend this low class hotel to anyone! This is robbery and unfortunately service is way too low! Internet connection sacks ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! SHAME ON BEST WESTERN! I mean I'd contact the headquarters and file a complaint .

This is one of the best hotels in town Dilizhan with spacious and modern rooms, refurbished in 2019, with very nice buffet breakfast, very helpful staff, good music and cafes, perfect conference halls and very nice and spacious yard with flowers and other facilities. You will feel here as if at home!!!

We have really enjoyed our stay in Best Western Paradise Hotel in Dilijan Armenia, polite people (staff) , very tasty food, amazing atmosphere, especially we are grateful for the staff in the restaurant, Ashot the manager of the restaurant helped us with the menu ( what to eat) and the best selection of armenian wines , professional service. Beautiful and comfortable place to have a rest with family. Fantastic view opens from hotel and outside swimming pool to mountains and forests. Very kind staff who are ready to help with all the issues. The main drawback was fitness and wellness center which needs renovation.

The rooms we got are without air conditioning. There is no fan in the room and it is stuffy and hot. They provides me with a fan eventually and they tell me temp will drop later at night. My room is on the ground floor so close to the restaurant that I cannot open the window. There are also no screens to keep the mosquitoes out if we open the window, so the fan doesn't do much. We are told some rooms on the 4th floor have AC but there are not enough room for all of us. Several people in my group paid for the upgrade but they said their room's AC are not working, and the hotel staff tells them "the air conditioning will not go below room temperature"...

Nice atmosphere, very responsive and friendly staff. I was surprised with the fresh and pleasant odor of the room! Very clean and comfortable room and bedding! The view from the balcony was just amazing!

Great place to hang out after the city rush. Cosy hotel with swimming pool surrounded with virgin forest. Comfortable rooms, high quality clean linen. We have spent a great weekend with our family of 5.

A clean and nice hotel with very helpful staff. We had a confuse with our hotel room, which was immediately solved. The food is very diverse and tasty. The only disadvantage is when you are with a kid - there is a very small place for walks and the playground is very close to the parking lot.

We were be there with the group of friends and really enjoy our weekend there. First of all we like location of the hotel. Very nice , large room, bathroom was equipped all neccassary things. Also, we like indoor pool. Hopefully we will back there after some time.

The hotel has a good location in central Dilijan. Fast check in. Luminous, large and clean rooms, with comfortable beds. We visited in the winter and the rooms were always warm. It has central heating so you can't turn on/off in the room. Complimentary bottled water, coffee and tea in the room. Sparkling clean bathrooms with enough towels for two or three guests. Complementary toiletries. Excellent breakfast with choices for everyone (GF, vegans, vegetarians and lactose intolerants will find plenty of choices too). The hotel has a kids room, bar, ballroom and other amenities to enjoy during your stay and free parking. A smile every time the staff welcomed us and the kindness they expressed in all areas of the hotel were sweet gestures that made of our stay at Best Western Dilijan a nice one.

Room large and comfortable, modern design, clean, bathroom well equipped and not to small. Very quiet. Breakfast was delicious, dinner with buffet excellent. Staff very friendly, service very attentive. Also great bar.

Not a very friendly reception here. As you can't exchange sterling for Armenian Drams at the border with Georgia, we were counting on the ATM at this hotel to get some local cash - only to find the machine was out of order! Another machine beside it (with instructions only in Armenian) looked like an ATM so my husband inserted his card - which was promptly swallowed up, much to the amusement of the sniggering young man at reception! Our local guide came to the rescue & explained that this machine was for payment of hotel bills only, & another member of staff managed to extract our card using a pair of scissors. Not a good start! Our room was spacious & the bed, comfortable, but it was noisy as it overlooked a main road with constant heavy traffic. Our buffet dinner looked attractive but wasn't very tasty and the breakfast wasn't especially memorable.

A modern and functional building located in the outskirts of Dilijan, in the mountain area known as the Swiss Armenia. Large and comfortable rooms, good restaurant, friendly personnel. Not to miss the wonderful piano in the upper hall.

We stayed here for one night only, but would have loved to stay longer. The room was spacious, clean, the bed comfortable, the bathroom well equipped and clean. Wifi worked perfectly. Breakfast and dinner was buffet with a huge choice including several local dishes. There is a bar, indoor and outdoor pool, activity room with table tennis, snooker table. The staff was professional and friendly. The hotel is located by the road in the woods with great views to the mountains. Walks are possible in the area.

This is a hotel that gets the bulk of its business from large tour buses. There are no other restaurants nearby, so you do not have any real alternative to their restaurant We had a top floor room here which was roomy, without being luxurious. Staff were pleasant, without being particularly anxious to please. The small indoor pool was fine, but no staff in attendance. Breakfast was in an odd dining room which appeared to be set up for large functions rather than individual guests. The breakfast buffet was what one would expect of this sort of hotel - adequate without being memorable There was a top floor terrace, beyond the reach of the lift, which was a good place to sit - though the nearby main road did cause a lot of noise from lorry traffic

The hotel is located deep in the heart of Armenia and has amazing view to forest and mountains. The news and fashionable open air pool is for sure the best in Armenia. I have celebrated my birthday here with my friends and that was really nice choice to chill out around. The food and serice are exelent and the staff is very professional and friendly. Highly recomended place for local people and tourists!!

The property located outside the main town is a good choice for the area. It is a modern, American style property located in a wooded mountain valley setting. Both dinner and breakfast were surprisingly good. Staff and service was good. The only downside, there is very little in walking distance from the hotel.

A large hotel in a woodland setting . My room was spacious with plenty of chairs , bed was comfortable and the room quiet in spite of being close to the entrance . Staff were helpful ; had an issue with the shower as they weren't able to supply a rubber mat ! Yes the TV channels were rather limited but I quite enjoyed watching the local versions . Both dinner and breakfast were served buffet style . Food was plentiful but not as attractive to me as the more 'rustic' food we ate at other locations but that's just a personal view . Didn't have time to use the amenities as this was a one -nighter . Guess this hotel is a relic of the Soviet era but that adds to its character .

Spent 2 nights at this peaceful getaway just a drive away from Yerevan. Set amidst forests, this resort is well equipped with a pool, massage facilities & gym. However the superior rooms are quiet compact but the deluxe rooms are spacious and more comfortable. The food is good and the staff are helpful.

Only had one night here but would have been happy to stay much longer. The room was very comfortable with extra seating and table with plenty of room to move around and store belongings. There was also a balcony with (what appeared) good views but unfortunately the weather was not fit for us to appreciate this. Meals were to a good standard with something for everyone.

Sadly this hotel did not meet expectations, despite the global branding, for the 2 days I was here, for one day I did not have access to wi-fi, CNN channel was practically unavailable except for a few hours, the family room was pricey and decor out of date - only the outdoor pool met expectations, - this was more like a 3 star facility at best

Good cleanhotel with spacious rooms and all amenities. Only downside is the rather strange shower pods in the bathrooms - not sure who thought this was a good idea. Could also use more shelf space in the bathrooms. Good service in the restaurant.

We were slightly disappointed by this hotel despite its beautiful surroundings. It is very close to the busy main road and, possibly due to the coach tours it mainly hosts, has an institutional feel to it. We stayed in a vast suite of rooms consisting of a huge living room with sofas and a dining table, a large bedroom and bathroom, as well as three balconies, that felt very much as if it dated from the Soviet era. I believe we had this room because all the others had been taken up by the various German and Canadian coach parties that were staying there at the same time. The facilities, such as sitting out area and pool, looked very nice but it was raining whilst we were there so we could not enjoy them. The bar, in a kind of conservatory, was rather strange where we had a ruinously expensive gin and tonic. Dinner and breakfast were not very good. The dinner buffet was dismal and unappetising, particularly when compared with the delicious food we ate in Armenia, while breakfast had little to offer.

The town of Dilijan is absolutely breathe taking, beautiful natural woods, steams and hills. Even though we went during the heat wave of June, the weather was still lovely, the hotel was clean and staff hospitable. The breakfast buffet was good, not wasteful and the staff were attentive. The rooms are good, a little outdated and the bed were squeaky but still comfortable.

Our room was quite large with a balcony overlooking the hills. The room was comfortable with good beds. The bathroom was roomy but surprisingly we had a capsule shower. This was not good. Hard to work out why and even more confusing when everyone else had a good shower and not a capsule. The dinner and breakfast were very good and everyone found something that suited their taste. Wifi worked throughout.

We were part of a large group, spent one day in the hotel. Beautiful view from the well sized room with a nice balcony facing the mountain, coffee in the rooms, comfortable shower , good food. Not for people with major mobility problems (couple of stairs to restaurant). I wish we had one more day

As I am very much interested in hotels in various countries, I also carefully and captiously pick hotels in my own country. I was quite impressed with this hotel. Regardless of their young age, the staff members were skilled, proficient and provided a good service. Important advantages of this hotel are the picturesque sight and the open-air pool.

This hotel was nice and clean. We could not find a thermostat to control heat and/or air conditioner. We were only here one night. As we checked out, we were told that we had a expresso charged to our room. We told the desk that we did not have an expresso. We were then told that a coat hanger was missing from the room. This was also incorrect!

On our tour we had only one night in this hotel, so the location out of town did not matter. The general standard of the hotel is very high. Our suite on the fourth floor was simply stunning. Incredibly large, there even was a piano. There were two balconies in opposing directions and an open-air loggia. The bedroom was stylishly furnished, the bathroom luxurious. WiFi was good. The only critical feature were paper-thin walls. There is a swimming pool with a sauna. Breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for two nights at the end of May 2018. The room was comfortable and clean. There was no air conditioning, but it's not really needed in Dilijan's climate. With a window ajar the room was a perfect 20° all night. The only English-speaking news channel on the television is CNN, and I needed to get someone to retune it before mine worked properly. Otherwise everything in the room worked fine. The bathroom was a reasonable size, with shower, no bath. Shower pressure was fair, and water temperature fluctuated around 10° , which added a bit of excitement. There were no face washers, so I resorted to using a hand towel. I was in a group of fifteen that had dinners and breakfasts here. They were good without being brilliant. Many of the dinner dishes in the bain maries were pretty cold. I appreciated getting raw muesli at breakfast (which very few of our Caucasian hotels over a month offered), although it was almost all oats. A few top-ups of dried fruits, seeds and nuts would have been nice. Omelettes/eggs were prepared to order. I tried unsuccessfully to find an apple that wasn't soft and floury, and the cherries were pretty sad, too. The hotel is around ten kilometres up a hill from Dilijan, with little or nothing of interest in its vicinity. Wifi worked well. Staff were friendly and obliging. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Very new! Comfortable, modern, and very quiet. I was in Room 213 just for one night. It does seem to be in the middle of nowhere! The public areas are very attractive (piano, chandeliers) and the rooms have sizeable balconies.

A good location near the river and mineral water springs. Yet the water in the tab are not recommended to drink. The impressive public areas probably reflect a glorious past. The room itself was huge, yet half of it not well-illuminated. No safe in the room. Not enough electricity connections on the walls (no connection for the tea katel) average maintenance. The staff was polite and attentive. The food was rich and in good quality.

We had trip with our office staff. Nice rooms,personal very helpful The main thing we liked there is food and service. You can choose whatever you wish it's totally free of charge so we had good breakfast for whole day:) Price reasonable close to the city location is perfect next to the forest.

We spent two nights in a standard double, which was huge and quiet. Lots of hot water and free wifi. Only downside was the shower cubicle, small and totally enclosed. A bit claustrophobic! Breakfast and dinner were buffet style and included an excellent and plentiful selection of hot and cold dishes with plenty of fruit and vegetables. The staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good for exploring the surrounding area and is probably the best hotel too. Only downside to such a large hotel is that it lacks a bit of character.

Looked around the proximity it seems BW is not a bad choice to stay for one night before heading to Lake Stevan and Yerevan It's a clean and neat hotel with basic amenity (WiFi, shampoo, shower gel, towel). Please bring your own hair conditioning, body lotion, cotton and Qtip It even has a wellness center with gym, swimming pool and sauna. Though the pool is claimed to heated pool, it's just ‘not cold' slightly warm. Just manage your expectations Also dine in the hotel which offered buffet dinner. Food in general is ok. People are nice and helpful

Best Western Paradise Hotel in Dilijan offers wide variety of services that would make your stay comfortable and enjoying. I specifically liked the room and facilities of the hotel. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were diversified and very tasty (vegeterians can find tasty thing to eat as well). The staff is very friendly and nice. Conference facilities are excellent. Overall, I am more than satisfied with the stay. However, I have to note that there are dolphins kept in the hotel pool. Although we were explained that there is sea water available for them, I think that the animals shouldn't be kept there, as the swimming pool is too small and the conditions are not sufficient for them. They must be suffering down there! Also, there is a very bad smell from the pool coming to the restaurant lobby.

We stayed here only 1 night, but it was restful. The hotel room it self was clean and well appointed. The one thing that it was lacking was screens on the windows and doors. Unable to keep the window open at night. In our particular room the lock (2nd lock) on the door was not functional.

This is a place where you not just "pay", you pay and you get in return... You get your time to enjoy Dilijan's view , you get to enjoy the best staff , the best service , the best beds ... There's no hotel manager that would call the cook to ask him to come back to work and prepare some sandwiches for us after the restaurant was closed , just because a small missunderstanding .... but they did ... I stayed here in August. Efficient, excellent service, lovely staff and the food was delicious with more variety than I'd experienced elsewhere in Armenia. My room was quiet and spacious with all the usual amenities. The hotel bar was very great with a range of Armenian brandies and a pleasant atmosphere. A great place to stay - recommended!

Great place and very helpful & congenial staff . I loved the room and we had the best dinner till now ( international not specifically Armenian) and by far the best wine which the very congenial George introduced me ( with very good explanation) in my native language ( Portuguese) . My only request would be that the Instant Nescafe should be changed by the real thing . I loved the room , even better than Hayatt's similar in Yerevan

This was one of the best hotels I have ever been to. Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly stuff. unbelievable nature and perfect rest is guaranted. Highly recommended for all kind of spheres. The outdoor swimming pool will make you feel like you are in paradise. The cuisine was perfection. The best choice for business meetings. In one word, this hotel is true paradise!!!

It was a heavenly rest, and all thanks to a friendly staff. Location 5+, staff 5+, cleanliness 5+, food 5+ .... I did not rest so well, and my daughter did not leave the playground. I advise everyone!

A very good and clean hotel, location is excellent specially when one needs an overnight halt when driving from Yerevan to Georgia. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The rooms were large and spacious and had good facilities provided.

Overall the hotel is not centrally located, however it is nice and has an old path for walking up the mountain. The staff in general is really very very good and friendly, trying to meet all the needs. The food is also fine. The buffet usually offers a variety of dishes so everyone can find something special for themselves. They have a nice playground for children, which, unfortunately, is not being taken care of. It is dirty and is not functioning, like some things are broken and are dangerous for children to play in. So it will be better wither to dismantle them or to fix them. The cleanness - 2 days I was waiting to have the room cleaned and when they came to finally clean the room (which was done in less than 5 minutes) it appeared that they do not clean floors but only change towels and clean surfaces in the bathroom only. The refrigerator in the room was not functioning while I had baby food to keep. On the reception they told me that whatever we had in the room was not a refrigerator but a container to keep the drinks. I was very cross to be taken as a fool because I think I can differentiate between a container and a refrigerator. Anyway, things happen, however I would be more into details if I were the management of the hotel.

The hotel was amazing, starting from the location where it's surrounded with gorgeous nature, clean hotel , comfortable clean rooms, welcoming employees, delicious food, my group of 24 pax loved it and for sure will come back. We stayed here for a night and this property was an excellent choice. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The buffet Dinner and breakfast was superb. The choices available at both meals were excellent. The maitre'd knew so many different languages, I was happy to hear him greet me in my native language.

For the price, this hotel is excellent! Great buffet and an a la carte restaurant. The variety of food and quality is great. There is a nice bar, sauna, gym and game room. One side of the hotel has a breath taking view with the mountains covered with greenery. You won't regret staying here. Totally kid friendly too!

The entrance to the family room was all covered with ice- slippery tiles little chance no to fall down. Result- my wife fell and was heavily injured, took urgently for computer tomography. The hotel said it was not liable for the matter, saying it is winter and we could have fallen anywhere. Offered a free night but it was like "it is all your fault and we are super kind to you". Slippery tiles with ice- it is the exact fault of hotel. Will never visit again

We stayed just one night and it should be the best hotel in Dilijan. There was snow in mid October and the view nearby was like paradise. We had buffet dinner and breakfast and foods are various and taste is good (we have fresh fruit juice in breakfast). The day was my friend's birthday and the hotel offered a small birthday cake for her. They are very warm hearted and friendly (the restaurant Manager even said greetings in Chinese - we are from Hong Kong). Room is very spacious and clean. It also had small blemishes: 1. If your luggage is bulky, don't choose 4th floor (the lifts only go to 3rd floor, you have to climb up about 20 steps to 4th floor) 2. In room wifi is very weak, they tell me to go to the Reception to getting online 3. Bath tub design is no good. Usually we shower to the wall (wall at our back) that makes water goes from the tub edge and wets the bath room floor 4. Unluckily, water supply was cut out for 30 minutes that night. After resume, the water running out was as black as ink. :(

I'm vegetarian. When was'nt a suitable food they prepared especially for me vegetarian food and very tasty. When I got to the pool early, they opened it especially for me. People there are very nice and very attentive

All staff went above and beyond to help make our stay in Dilijan one of the best travel experiences we have had. Writing this as we check out after a single nights stay but wish we could have extended the trip.. Nestled in the midst of forests in old Dilijan, this is a fantastic property!! Clean, well kept property, very prompt and welcoming staff with a 24 hr reception. Rooms are spacious, neatly done, pretty balconies in each room overlooking the gorgeous green views. Basic amenities available and the staff is very accommodating of any requests. No aircon but you won't feel the need for one.. The weather is awesome. We had dinner in the hotel and there again 5 stars for the food.. Yummm!! Everything we ordered was perfect. Breakfast spread was delish with a variety of meats and seasonal fruit. The property has beautiful areas for relaxation and also has a huge play area with playground sets for kids. Would definitely recommend this to other travellers.

I just spent one night in this hotel. However, I like this hotel for the following reasons. Although our group arrived the hotel very late (by 10:30pm), the staff waited us to take the dinner buffet in the restaurant. The room was large with balcony that guest could taste the fresh air of the valley. Breakfast was also good.

1st in my list. my favorite place in Dilijan, it's really a paradise, the staff is amazing and so helpful, the food is the best. I have been to many Best Western hotels around Europe and America but this place was one to remember. See you next year.

Best Western in Dililijan its worth to say that its the Best Highest quality hotel, with good servise and delicious kitchen.I was there in summer with my family ,my children had good time in the play ground and the sweeming pool??.

One of the best experiences I've had! I've traveled a lot to different countries, but haven't been back in Armenia for some time. When traveling Best Western definitely was never on my Luxury hotel list until I have arrived at Best Western Paradise Dilijan Hotel in beautiful mountains of Armenia. It was a Paradise indeed. The view and air was indescribable, and then I walked in to the hotel. Bright, beautiful marble lobby, high ceilings throughout the entire hotel. The hotel also offers a spa, huge pool, food to die for and much more. You can sit on a deck, sip a glass of wine with great food and mesmerizing views, or take a walk, or enjoy night life with live music some nights and all this for a very reasonable price. This place has something for everyone's taste be a child or an adult. This is truly a place to forget about everything even your kids. I highly recommend this hotel, you won't regret it! I specially would like to thank the wonderful staff and management team for making my stay so memorable!!!!

This place is a real paradise on earth. Very comfortable rooms with nice interior for both single and family rest. Bathroom was super clean and equipped with everything needed for having a complete relax. I also managed to enjoy the inner pool and I can say that water temperature was quite high. Hotel's location was great; far from noise and very beautiful view of nature from my balcony. Good WIFI connection. Very professional and friendly staff. My special thanks to chief cook for the variety of extremely tasty dishes. Overall, EXCELLENT. Hope to be there again:)

Reception told us this never happens! Two people came to the room and nothing could be done. Well, taking a cold shower at 7 AM does not put me in the best mood. This was in a “Deluxe room” The internet worked for a while and then it was really slow. The room faced the highway and since there were very few guests, good business practice would be to give the few guests you have the best rooms. Very nice people, but the rooms are not exactly first class, not even the deluxe room. Toilet and tissues were very hard paper. Basic amenities shampoo, soap and shower gel. The room size was good and the beds comfortable. The TV was nice with one English Channel that repeated the same news show. Carpet needs TLC. It is sad how bad hotels are here, because we also checked the number 2 and the rooms were humid cold and even worse than this hotel. That is the only reason I am giving them more stars than they deserve.

I have visited this hotel in August. 2016 with my family (with my wife and 4 months old daughter) . Before visit I have orders a business room only because it has single advantage of jaccuzzi; we needed this to be able to make swimming of our daughter easier. Also I have asked to have a baby bad, for my daughter. But when we arrived to the hotel and entered to our so called "business" room we were negatively surprised: - There was bad smell in the room like nasty - The baby bad wasn't there and I had to call to resection 3 times before they brought the bad. Now about the worst part of the story - it was about 8PM we decided to use the bath, opened the water and guess what; the water is green (check attached photos) ! We called the resection and they said that we need to keep it open for sometime and it will clear. Question 1: why such an hotel doesn't make sure it is not done before guests arrive? We kept the water open for about an hour but not result. I called the resection again they said will send someone. No body helped out. And the end they said the water in Dilijan is not that clean as we have in Yerevan, but sorry I pay for the hotel room and hotel is responsible to have corresponding water filters!!! At the end I have requested my money bad, they didn't wanted to pay the full price and keep bill for one day, but I insisted to full return and went back to Yerevan at 11PM.

Yeah, its a chain, but does that really matter? The property was clean and the lobby welcoming with all of that natural light. Check-in was cordial and I ended up in room #105. Large with hairdryer, 'fridge and US language TV. The wifi was good in the room, which was nice. Tap water was not potable but they provided a bottle of water to drink. We had dinner in the dining room and were the only customers there. They started with sushi and went on to serve chopped beef, chicken Caesar salad, pork and peppers, yogurt and cucumber salad. There was no way I could eat all this delicious food... then the cakes came! It was an odd experience, like we were eating for all of those not there? Breakfast buffet in the morning was fair.

The Best Western is probably the best choice in Dilijan since it more or less newly built or renovated and is quite modern. The room are big and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are well equipped with everything you need. The territory of the hotel is beautiful as well as location, even though it's a bit off from the city center. The breakfasts are fine. The restaurant has good food, maybe not the food you will remember for ever , but still good for a hotel. In general, in spite that hotel have some cons, there are lots of cons to stay here. It's a good option if you consider to spend some time in Dilijan

We stayed in hotel for three nights our room was very clean and calm side with good view. Breakfast was good but same as each other every day. It us 15 minutes to dilijan and two restaurants near hotel the local family restaurant near hotel has tasty foods .we stayed 3 days but one day they coming for cleaning and 2 days bottle water the mattress wasn't comfy.

The hotel was chosen due to the fact that it represents quite a famous net of hotels. But in fact the class of the hotel and its service is much lower than we had expected. Boor breakfasts with green apricots ad the period when you can buy good fruit for nothing. There are some really rude people at reception. There is no business center to print documents. Sometimes they forget to clean your room. And... Really terrible smell in some rooms. Though the hotel had quite attractive territory and big parking. Don't' hope that you can have any Spa service here. There is no. Overpriced hotel, with much much lower level than is expected to be under such name

Even though this hotel is very close to the highway, it is very quite and offers a nice atmosphere of nature and is almost inside the forest. Service was quick and not annoying. Breakfast was ample, organized in a large restaurant. The suit was clean, however, it does not exactly offer the high standard of the Best Western chain. We could not wait for hot water in the night, which was OK in the morning ...

Actually i expected more from the hotel of this chain. From the first sight I undestood that it had been expensive to build, the furniture was not cheap, there are all sorts of fasilities and entertainments, however all that really in bad conditions - dissapointing. We stayed at a deluxe room. The furniture was old and scratched. Behind the entrance door was a whitherd plant (???). The shower cabin leaked, so after taking a shower the bathroom was flooded. Nevertheless that was not the worst. The worst was the children's room! So horrible and ugly places I have never seen! Where does the manadgment look? Walls in the room are complitely covered with paintings of children, all the toys are broken, I saw on the shelves dolls without heads, arms and legs. That was absolutely inadmissible. And the smell there, oh what a disgusting smell like in cellar. Do not bring your children there! Now the spa zone: the sauna hits till 40 degrees only, so we could not even get warm after a chilling swimming pool, and there are not any chairs or benches in the changing rooms, that is funny. The breakfasts are fine, far from the best ones I have had, but definetely not the worst,except instant coffee. The area around is nice with many sitting places, there are several hammocks, and quiet big playgound. This Hotel is fine for a short term stay. It is located outside of a city center. So it is only for tourist groups, travelling with buses or for travellers with a privite car.

Great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful nature , surrounded by the mountains paradise hotel is a great place to find your soul. Comfortable rooms , nice food , great bar , swimming pool and other activities made our stay so enjoyanle , the staff are nice and polite . Definitely one of the best hotels I have ever seen .

This a hotel that is out of the way. Staff are very friendly. I don't know why but the food is more than excellent. Maybe all organic. Very good!! Restaurant staff is excellent. Overall very nice place to stay.

Paradise INDEED - Situated in the center of Dilijan, this hotel stands out for its high quality service, CLEAN and spacious rooms, fast internet connection, AFFORDABLE (based on preferences) delicious food, and my favorite-you can see the beautiful nature from every room. The entire staff has a professional approach to each guest-which is undeniable. I almost didn't want to leave since I felt like I was at home.

This hotel is out in the sticks; it's really only any good if you're visiting Dilijan for a specific reason, and expect to use transport to get into the centre. However, for an overnight stop it is EXCELLENT. Lovely clean, big rooms, the bathrooms ensuite super, with hydro-massage in the shower, and the evening meal provided by the hotel was outstanding. The wifi connection was very satisfactory. But the best of all are the staff. Efficient, pleasant and prepared to go to any lengths to be helpful. Our long-suffering waiter answered all our queries about the wine, and produced an excellent vintage for us. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We rested in the BEST WESTERN Paradise Dilijan from the 19th to 21st of December of 2015. We were pleased: comfortable rooms, friendly attitude of the staff. Nice Hotel, Dilijan is wonderful in winter period. Our room is huge. The food is good, enough to complete, but monotonous. Thank you for your work. Gevorg and Gayane.

?t's one of the best hotels I have ever been to.the staff is merry and smiling.the gym including the trainers are great.its cuisine is worldwide rich with every kind in it.especially for the ones who are on a diet.the pool has spectacular mountain view.

The hotel is not very close to the city center but has a nice view over the wood and is very quiet. The rooms are big and comfortable and have all a balcony. The food is good and the staff is always ready to help and to make you feel at ease. There is a swimming pool but the wellness area is not exciting. I think it is by far the best option in Dilijan!

Definitely not a four star hotel but two. Broken doorways, border moldings falling down, no air conditioning, located off of a main road, thus too much truck noise, worst pool, terrible service, breakfast was ok had much better, I definitely do not recommend

This was a thoroughly modern facility with most of the amenities one would expect to find at a similar hotel in the U.S. Large, comfortable rooms, adequate bathroom facilities, plenty of outlets for charging devices and a nice restaurant. My only real complaint - and it's probably not the fault of the hotel - is that the internet was much slower than other parts of Armenia that I visited.

We booked a double room during our way by expedia. It was late in night. When we arrived, they have just family suits, Much expensive. The reception management offered the suits in the same price that was in the internet. We enjoy our staying! A lovely hotel with a nice bar.
