    « ATTENDED A 21ST BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION »

The BW Corpus Christi is located in a great location: bars, restaurants and across the street from the Bay Front Boardwalk. After dinner our family walked on the Boardwalk (great for walking in morning, day or evenings plus it is very safe). The entire staff at the BW are very friendly and make you feel right at home! The lounge area has a beautiful view of the bay.

« Consistently Great All Around! »

I travel as part of my job but go to Corpus Christi a few times every year to enjoy some time off. Over the last 6 years since my girlfriend and I have discovered this hotel we have been very pleased with it as well as the entire staff who works hard to make our stay very enjoyable! The only problem with staying here is NOT the fault of the hotel at all- but with people thinking Shoreline Drive is a drag strip late at night. I really wish the CCPD would patrol that area more frequently to help bring that to am end.

Hotel faces the bay so potential for some great views. Room was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Definitely will stay here again. Great variety for breakfast and walking distance to the bay and restaurants.

« We arrived!! That is how I felt when I watched the Buccaneer Days parade from our hotel balcony overlooking the ocean! »

EXCELLENT HOTEL, STAFF, and LOCATION!!!! Hotels really can make or break a trip. We were close to everything: Marina/Ocean, Arts district, USS Lexington, etc! THE OCEAN VIEWS WERE AMAZING! Hot breakfast spread was an unexpected surprise! We had a fabulous stay for our daughter's graduation! Yes, the hotel is undergoing renovations, but who cares....THAT VIEW IS ALL I NEEDED!

    « Excellent hotel! »

The views from this hotel are phenomenal! Really enjoyed sitting in the lounge area while enjoying a cocktail and enjoying ther view of the marina. The views from the rooms are equally as impressive. Really did enjoy my stay here

« No disappointments here! Territic weeklong stay. »

This hotel is located right where you need to be in Corpus Christi - directly across from the Gulf, the sea wall, beaches, and the marinas. Everything is just a comfortable walk away. Plenty of good, walkable places to eat, too. We had a 2 queen bed standard room. Our room clearly had been recently renovated. Everything was new - furniture, carpets (no odors!), countertops & sink/tub, and mattresses & bedding. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the rooms are quiet. Plenty of new towels, too. They have the liquid dispensers in the shower - body wash, shampoo, & conditioner. And they were full. Ice machines are on the even numbered floors, and they work. There's plenty of free parking, with a lot of it being covered. The full, hot breakfast buffet is included, and it is excellent. No matter your tastes, you will find many, many pleasing options to start your day. It is available from 6:30am to 10:00am. The ladies that operate the buffet are most pleasant, and they truly CARE that your breakfast experience is perfect. We witnessed the hotel manager approaching multiple people, on multiple occasions, including us, to ask if our stay was satisfactory, and offered her services if we needed anything at all. This property is well run, and it shows in every aspect.

    « Look No Further !!! »

Wish I had reserved this lovely hotel the first night I spent in Corpus. After a horrible night at the Holiday Inn Downtown, I moved to this Best Western, and could not have been more pleased. The staff is incredible. The rooms are very clean, very comfortable, and the bar on the 11th floor is not to be missed. The nightly rate is reasonable, there is no charge for parking, and there is even a coffee shop downstairs if you need more than what is provided in your room. Morning breakfast is much nicer than most hotels. A micro and fridge are included in the room, and frankly it was PERFECT. Great job Best Western!! Staying here made my trip the best it could be.

« Great value and consistent service and quality. »

My son goes to Texas A & M Corpus Christi so we visit a lot. Our first stay here was after hurricane Harvey and while we have tried to stay at other hotels including the Omni we have found this to be the gem of them all. Front desk staff is always friendly and very helpful. Room always clean, ac on when we arrive, mistress and pillows very comfortable. I've had two knee surgeries and spinal fusion so this is very important to me. All rooms have balcony's with views of the bay. Easy walk to restaurants like Harrison's Landing and Joe's crab shack. And as far as ?free? breakfasts go, one of the. eat i've had with plenty of hot food items. They also have one of the nicest top floor bars in town. beautiful views from very looking out over the ocean. I have stayed here (i think) 4 times now and the times i tried something different i regretted it and always return to the little gem of a hotel.

    « Good stay »

This hotel was a good economical choice. It was clean but not spotless. The staff was friendly, parking easy, and access to the beach was a short walk (across a busy road). The beds were okay, but not as comfortable as we would have liked. We did enjoy the waffles with the free breakfast. We would be willing to stay again.

    5
    « Great Service »

My stay was excellent. They gave me a great room with a view. I was surrounded by all the amenities. Very relaxing.. The customer service was great. Everyone was very helpful. I will be staying at Beat Western again

    « CORPUS TRIP »

Always have such a great stay here at this hotel right on the CC bayfront. Got to walk across to Water St. Oysterbar for a great dinner with family and enjoyed a beautiful walk on the seawall the next morning. Always nice to come home for a visit. I recommend this hotel for your stay!

« Good location - lots of noise »

The room is ok, lots of noise from different sources. Some remodelling was going on, therefore the pool was closed. The location is great and staff is very friendly. Some water/coffee would be great in the lobby area.

    « Pleasant stay... »

I called ahead to make sure I got a 9th floor room, close to the water (rm 900 or 901), but when I arrived they tried to put me on the 7th floor. After some searching, I was finally placed on the 8th floor, right by the elevators. Not cool, but what could I do? Only 2 elevators were working, one of them being the service elevator. I only stayed on night, so it wasn't too bad. The room was very clean. The location of this hotel is great until the evening hours, when the locals decide to 'cruise' around Shoreline Blvd and one of the other streets behind the hotel; driving their loud vehicles and annoying 'crotch rocket' bikes. The sound reverberated off the buildings all night long. Smh. Overall I had a wonderful visit and the free breakfast was excellent. I'd definitely visit again.

    4
    « Balcony with a view! »

Well maintained traditional city hotel right at the Corpus Christi marina. The rooms facing north open a beautiful view towards the marina and the bay, plus each room has a balcony to enjoy e.g. sunrise and set. I only wish they wouldn't use disposable cups and plates for the breakfast--what a waste! I recommend Water Street Oyster Bar, located in immediate vicinity, for a great dinner.

« Marina BW at Corpus Christi »

Great Value. Excellent hotel. Near restaurants of all ranges, We had a great breakfast upstairs and they food was very good. View of water superb. Stay here as the location is easy to get tp the aquarium and USS Lexington which are both a must see. .

    « GREAT PLACE IF YOU LIKE BEING DOUBLE-CHARGED & NON-FUNCTIONING TOILETS »

I was moved into three different rooms becausr two of them had non-functioning toilets. The move kept me up until midnight when I was in town for business. I was denied a late checkout (1 hr) even though the hotel wasn't even completely booked. I turned in my room keys and checked out in person after one night. I was charged for two nights. I've attempted to contact the hotel manager multiple times and have yet to receive a call back.

    « Easter visit »

The hotel is undergoing some renovations but it didn't disturb our stay at all. Our room with the partial ocean view was amazing! There was lots of room, fridge, balcony with a view of the colour changing bridge and the ocean. The breakfast was wonderful with a huge shout out to the cook who made hard boiled Easter eggs for the kids on Easter Sunday! Plenty of breakfast selections and pretty tasty too. Views were great from the breakfast room and lounge on the top floor. Pool was basic but it was nice to see them cleaning it with the vacuum one morning. Front desk ladies were very friendly. There is a Sub shop and coffee place on the main level if you need. Great location close to the beach, good restaurants and tourist spots.

« A Great Place on the Bayfront. »

We have stayed here a few times. We love the location and they have the best breakfast for any hotel. The beds are a little high to get into but the rooms are fairly nice and clean. We needed help with the TV and air conditioning and got it right away. It is great to walk across the street to the T-heads. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because it could stand an update. I think they are working on that.

    2
    « Terrible »

I loved the staff, they were amazing! And the breakfast and lounge were great BUT the facility was terrible! There was no hot water, no heat, no elevator, and loud. I was unable to enjoy my family trip to the area. The location is great if your downtown!

    5
    « Texas beach »

My son enjoyed the view, we loved the location in wich our motel (best western) was located we got to see boats, ride jet skies, and most of all the water. We cant wait to visit and stay again in corpus christi.

    « 5 Stars »

Wonderful stay from start to finish. Mandy checked us in with a friendly funny welcoming demeanor. (Give her a raise!) Parking easy and convenient. Lovely amenities...coffee/sandwich/smoothie shop on first floor, Grandview lounge and breakfast buffet on top floor with gorgeous views. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was open but not yet heated for the season. Brrrr! Super convenient location with fabulous walks all around. We stayed in king room on 9th floor with awesome views. Everyone working in hotel was friendly, seem to enjoy working here. Will definitely stay here again. Love Corpus Christi!

« Nice View, great location! »

On our first trip to corpus Christi to visit our daughter we stayed in one of the hotels along the highway not knowing any better. This time we wanted a place closer to the bay. This is a great location. Right across the street from the marina. We asked for an upper floor room so that we could enjoy the view and we weren't disappointed. from our balcony we could see across the bay all the way to the aquarium and the aircraft carrier. It was pretty neat watching the ocean going vessels coming into port. The room itself was quite comfortable and spacious enough for the two of us. A complimentary breakfast with numerous food choices was on the top floor which also gave you a great view of the harbor. They do have a small lounge on the top floor which also gave you great views from three directions. Sadly though they did not have any food service there, only drinks. I'd gladly stay here again. It is pretty centrally located with easy access to the highway and the sites in corpus Christi.

    5
« My first choice for business in Corpus Christi »

The staff is great and the beds and pillows are the most comfortable ever! I wish they sold those pillows to take home! Breakfast is always good and the lounge on the 11th floor has a floor to ceiling view of the sailboat races in the bay on Wednesday nights. They accept the Corporate Lodging Card as well.

    3
« Great for location, nothing else »

The location is perfect if you're visiting Corpus Christi. Right across from the bay, it's in the middle of downtown and has easy access to freeways and major streets. I didn't see much public transit, but I wasn't looking specifically since we had a car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Free covered parking. And across a parking lot from Whataburger by the Bay, a two-story glory with seating on the balcony. That's the good. The not good: the building is old and it shows. I think it was an office building that was converted to a hotel. The air conditioning units are LOUD. The key-card lock on our door crapped out almost instantly. The maintenance guys couldn't have been nicer and they did the best they could with the resources they had, but it took a couple of hours to get fixed. Breakfast was really disappointing. I'm not a foodie by any stretch and normally chain hotel buffet breakfasts are just fine for me, but this one left a lot to be desired. I think they're not set up to do any cooking. The scrambled eggs were powdered (not a problem for me) and that was it in turns of hot protein. I think one pan of eggs had sausage or bacon mixed in, but no meat was available separately. You could make waffles or pancakes, but they had only one machine for each and the line was 10 deep all the time. The pastries were pretty puny looking. The biscuits were in the same case as the sliced bread. They weren't heated or kept fresh. You had to put them through the toaster to make them edible. Part of the reason I booked this hotel was for the included breakfast, and I don't think I've ever paid for a restaurant rather than eating the hotel breakfast ? why pay twice? But this just wasn't worth it. Easier to go to Whataburger next door. I would suggest more steam pans with already made pancakes and waffles, biscuits, bacon/sausage, and potatoes. The hotel has a lot of potential to be a great option for families looking for a value hotel. At this point, though, it's just an okay option. Its only selling point is the location. Hopefully it will improve.

    4
« Walking distance to the beach and the best Whataburger »

Second stay here and we really like it. Rooms are clean and spacious enough, breakfast buffet is a little limited but what they have is really good (pastry, selection of eggs, yogurt, fruit, waffle bar.) Where it really stands out is in the views from the room's balcony, breakfast buffet, and evening bar. We also love being within walking distance to the beach and so many restaurants. Early evening traffic was a little noisy at night due to being so close to the street, but the air conditioner masked the later evening traffic. We were able to sleep well. Also, if you check with the front desk, they have free appetizer coupons for several local restaurants. In hotel Blimpie's/smoothie place is an inexpensive and convenient option.

« Awesome ?Family with Young Kids? Stay! »

I am very germaphobic and I felt this hotel was very clean! I have two young kids and I dread hotels because they're usually dusty, carpet-stained, nasty bathrooms etc., but when we opened the door to our room I felt at ease which usually never happens. Everything was updated, very clean, the bathroom tile grout was clean and shower was mold-free. Minimalist bedding so no nasty comforter grossness there and carpet was new and not stained! This might be the first hotel room I've ever stayed in where nothing triggered my germaphobe anxiety! ?????? Also good to mention it's within walking distance to Landry's and Joe's Crab Shack and 5 mins from the USS Lexington and Texas State Aquarium and the awesome McGee Beach! (sp?) Anyway, if you are looking for a great place that is budget-friendly (free parking, WiFi AND breakfast!), and very clean, stay here!

    5
    « Better than I expected »

Excellent location across the street from the docksand bay. The breakfast area is on the top floor giving a great view of the bay. The breakfast was much better than typical hotel fare. I did not realize spring break started that day. I learned that while driving to Corpus. I was concerned about crowds of loud people, but they were all at Padre Island and it was nice and calm here. It was a very good stay.

    4
    « Love the mini-balcony »

Rooms were clean and liked the set-up with sink outside of the bathroom area. Love the mini-balcony to sit and enjoy the view. Also nice to be able to get fresh air into the room. Was not impressed that the onsite Blimpies is advertised to be open daily until 8 but was closed on the Sunday when we got back from touring. Wide variety of food choices for the breakfast in a large, well lit room.

    4
    « Security an issue!!! »

At check in I provided my name and cell number so that if there were issues I would take care of them. This did not occur. Keys were made for my students that I was not aware of &security insisted they should be allowed to search the room of one of my chaperones!!!! Again

« Great view and breakfast! »

At check-in I asked if we could have a room with a view and the girl said she would be able to give me one, was disappointed to arrive at our room in the rear of the hotel overlooking the parking lot. The girl was also sick and should not have been at work that day. Room was blowing super hot air so we turned off the heat and went up to the bar on the 11th floor, the view was amazing and the female bartender was very kind and informative this being our visit to the area, when we got back to the room we tried to start up the heat again as it was chilly during our stay, now all we got was cold air blowing. Maintenance guy came quickly and worked on it, he also turned out to be a super friendly and informative of our first visit to the area, he got the temp fixed to where we wanted but after that we were afraid to make any adjustments to the system as there was not thermostat. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous. We walked to a few restaurants in the area. The bed was comfortable, other than being disappointed in our room location and the inability to adjust the temperature, everything else was great, we enjoyed visiting with the bartender and the maintenance man very much, they should be commended.

    4
    « Nice Stay »

Great location and wonderful views of the bay. Breakfast was very good and plentiful with lots of options. Great views from the 11th floor where breakfast was served. Had some heating issues, but they moved us to another room quickly.

« Beautiful Hotel and Bar »

« Great dog friendly deal!! »

Came here with my husband and our 2 dogs for NYE. Staff was very friendly and even gave us doggie goodie bags when we checked in!! Room was clean and cozy with views of the marina and our own private balcony. Walking distance to several great restaurants. Woke up in the morning and walked right outside for a beautiful stroll with the dogs along the waterfront. The lounge on the top floor also had amazing views of downtown and the water! Great deal for a hotel on the water and only $20 pet fee for up to 2 dogs. Very happy with our stay!!

    5
    « Great »

One of the most accommodating hotels. Can say enough about the staff and the maintenance workers. Friendly and respectful, ready to assist you at any moment and attention to your personal vehicle. My car lights were left on and desk called my room to let me know and when I did not answer the room phone they called me on my cell phone. They took the time to locate me. A small thing like that goes a long way it shows attention to their guests.

« Best Western Corpus Christi- Shoreline »

Excellent ocean view (high rise) location with reasonable rates; nothing fancy; had standard king room that's comfortable, nice breakfast on upper floor with views. covered parking. Easy access to beach, boating and boardwalk

    3
    « Unclean »

This is a golf coast hotell provably has great views, but it was foggy when I stayed. The exterior of the building looked a bit weathered this beeing the off season and the week before christmas they might have been understaffed but there were some prblems first the Door handle wss broken. The Room smelled a little smoky but I'm not sure if that wasn't just coming from another room, but worst of all shower curtain was filthy had dried phlegm and Boogers on it. If they didnt wash that, what else did they not wash. And I didn't take a shower until the morning.

    5
    « Best BW I've stayed at! »

I have stayed and many BW's across the US, and this one ranks at the top! AA++ all the way. The parking was conveniently located. The breakfast was great! the view from our room was a big plus and that we had a balcony was awesome.

« Nice staff, creepy room »

I debated about staying at this hotel, but saw good reviews overall. The staff was all very friendly and got me checked in/out quickly. The lobby area was shabby looking. Not the first impression I was hoping for. The room looked ok at initial inspection, but once I went to get into bed I got creeped out. It felt like there were some crumbs or something on the bedsheet. The bed was obviously older and not in great condition. It also had an old blanket on it. I also felt like I couldn't put my bare feet on the floor. I wore my socks the entire time and didn't put my bags on the floor. Best Western also needs to send the extra few cents/dollars and put individual shampoo bottles and conditioner in the rooms. Instead they have dispensers in the shower - once again not the impression I was looking for. They did have a microwave and fridge in the room which was a nice addition. The view was also nice. But the door to the balcony was quite drafty with the 20 mile per hour winds. I don't think this hotel was worth the price. If it was $60 per night it would be acceptable condition, but when you are paying > $100 it should be a good experience. I would suggest looking at other hotels instead of this one.

    5
« THE BEST VIEWS IN THE CITY! »

We loved staying here last weekend! We were taken care of by the front desk staff, Jessica, in particular. The hotel is clean, the beds super comfy, the breakfast is HUGE and really good and the views are unbelievable! They have everything that you could need here and it is so close to great restaurants and attractions. Highly recommended property!

    2
« Noise is an issue »

the room we were in was very noisy, pipes, cars and hallway and oh yea a motor cycle group gets together at the Whataburger across the parking lot starting at 7 am on Sunday. hot water was warm in the evening, not hot... it did get almost hot in the morning. Great location near the marina but I asked for a bay side room online but found out they don't have any rooms that face the bay directly only from sideways I would have chose another hotel.

    4
« Corpus Christi Best Western »

Location was fantastic. View was incredible. It is an older bldg. and it shows in the window frames and sliding glass doors. Thermostat did not work well. Room was clean and adequate. The incredible view nailed it!

    « Better and Worst, »

Staff were attentive, maid service friendly. Rooms are dated. Beds are firm. Water pressure in shower lacking. Hot water tepid at best. Exercise room clean plenty of towels. Exercise equipment lacking monitor hook ups, treadmill broken.

« Corpus Christi, champagne wishes & Best Western dreams... »

If you've never had a reason to visit Corpus Christi, TX on the Gulf of Mexico... you do now. Staying at the Best Western alone would be reason enough to experience this gem of a coastal city. Its centrally located & truly a home away from home. it captures the loving & laid back vibe that we plugged into during our stay in Corpus. Reserve now!

    « great overall »

the bar had a fantastic view and they had happy hour prices Monday to Friday from 5 to 7. The breakfast had lots of wonderful things to eat. I would not order pizza from Blimpies was not very tasty at all.

    « Concert stay »

Very good first time experience for this hotel will return back when I get a chance to. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The breakfast had a good variety of items and the parking was good walking distance to the beach.

    5
    « Outstanding Hotel »

This hotel was outstanding for several reasons: a great breakfast buffet, a great top floor bar with a view of the harbor, friendly and helpful staff and a good room at a great price for the area. Free self parking and good wifi were pluses.

    4
« Stay for a high school class reunion »

Despite an initial problem with my reservation, my stay was otherwise pleasant. The room was well kept, and maintained. The refrigerator, however, had a slight problem and produced a humming sound and made the room vibrate. Probably a compressor problem.

  • 4
    « Our stay »

We were satisfied with our room once we were moved to a new one. Our first room wasn't clean. Front desk staff moved us to a new one right away. Breakfast buffet was very good. Location was perfect and within walking distance of the beach and nightlife.

    5
« Great location great hotek »

Hotel was in a great location. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean. It's a little dated but still clean. It was great that there was a coffee shop, smoothie and sub shop in the hotel. Breakfast was a hot breakfast and lots to choose from. The traffic was a little noisy but it didn't ruin the stay. Overall great hotel and I will stay again.

    5
« Superb views from the top floor bar »

Lovely and comfortable, with amazing breakfast - People very helpful. Good position for touring around. We only had a couple of days here, but the hotel was really nice. Pity the pool area was still out of bounds from Hurricane harvey (some 6-8 weeks before)

    5
« We will be back! »

Second stay for us. Great view of the waterfront from our room and we enjoy the top floor bar overlooking the city. A good value for the location. It is convenient to everything downtown. We will be back next year.

« Cold shower but comfortable bed »

When I got to my room it was 11:30pm. I needed a shower. I took a shower in medium cold water just to get cleaned off. I had to get up early to catch a plane. I wanted to take a warm shower so I got up at 4:30am let the water run for 20min. Water never got hot enough to take a good shower. I had to get going. So I checked out told the ladies at the front and all they could say was I will let maintenance know. For a 5 hour miserable stay I should be credited at a minimum 50% of the bill because I did have a comfortable 4hr sleep. The bed was comfortable!

    4
    « Great sleep »

The bed was easily the best feature, incredibly comfortable. Overall a little better than most Best Western hotels that I've stayed at, but could use a little upgrading. The parking is odd, but they were working on upgrading the lot while I was there. Not a bad location and the price was right.

    3
    « Not suprised »

Stayed one night on business. Right on the water, nice view from room. Some beautiful photographic prints on the wall. Rooms are a bit dated and not fancy, but were clean. A bit noisy. Limited parking as they were working on the parking lot. Free breakfast was just OK - eggs were overcooked (brown) and dry, but refried beans were the real south Texas deal could taste the manteca. Not an unpleasant stay but there are many nicer options available.

    4
« Good Stay at the Best Western »

Overall the hotel was great. Rooms were small but very well appointed. The beds are great for sleeping. Hotel has been updated recently and it shows. Amenities are good. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel is dated and could used a renovation. Covered parking is poorly laid out. Room was clean but the bed wasn't the best. Rate was unreasonable given the class of service presented. The town in general is pretty run down. Thank goodness my business meeting finished early. Good to put BW behind me.

Lori was very friendly and caring. Most housekeeping tends to keep to themselves however she greeted and acknowledged my family making us feel welcomed. She even taught is how how to fold decorative towels. Excellent customer service will definitely be staying here again. THANK YOU Lori

    « Beautiful hotel »

This was our first stay at this Best Western. The staff was very accomidating and cordial. Never been to a BW that offered an adult lounge before but it nice to go to to relax and have a beverage and watch the ball games. Plenty of room for a lot of people and the Nicholas (bartender) was very friendly and assisting. The views of the hotel show the marina & downtown skyline. We loved it and will be back.

    « Great location & views »

Great location, very convenient. They have free parking and the bar and breakfast rooms are up at the top on the 11th floor, where the best views are. The bar was lively and very nice. Breakfast was just average. Could improve with quality and assortment. Our a/c wasn't cooling properly. Maintenance came to check it out, and said they fixed the problem, but it never cooled well. Felt very humid in the room the whole night. Only stayed for 1 night, or we would have asked to change rooms. The staff was all very nice.

Whenever I travel to the Gulf Coast I always stay at the Best Western on Shoreline Drive. From here I can visit all the locations that I need to see. The rooms are always clean and comfortable, the breakfast always starts my day. Now that they have added the restaurants in the lobby area, that makes it even more convenient. Great location Downtown and close to everything.

We found this hotel to be reasonably priced, and very clean. It is just a short walk to restaurants, and the Corpus Christi Yacht Club. They do a very nice breakfast on the top floor every morning. We will stay here again.

I'm a repeat guest and again got my favorite room. The early registration enables me to secure the ADA room that is my preference. The hotel was recently refreshed and the new look is warm and welcoming. The added vendor services make a fine experience and ensure guest convenience. I love coming back to the BW Corpus Shoreline.........

Really had a great stay at The Best Western, Corpus Christi bayside!!! Great people and lounge!! Right on the bay and my room had an awesome view of the boats and water!! The view from the lounge over looking the bay was beautiful and a great way to watch the sun set in Corpus Christi, Texas!!

« Bad Value for the Money »

Only one person working the desk during check-in so had to wait in line 15 minutes. Room was clean but very worn-out looking: chipped paint, old stains on rugs, worn furniture. Toilet was partially clogged. The plumbing noises from the next room sounded like a howling dog.

« In need of renovations »

Pro's Great Location - right across from The Marina and Water Street Restaurant Area Beds - The Beds are very comfortable. Free Parking Free Breakfast - was typically the same each day scrambled eggs, toast, bagels, cereal, waffles, pancakes. Con's Rooms are in need of some serious updating. Stains on the lampshades, showers that you had to let run for at least 5 minutes before you had hot water. Doors stuck, elevators were sporadically out of service. There are just much nicer hotels in the area for the same price point.

    « Fabulous staff »

Holly, who works the front desk, does a fabulous job of multi-tasking while smiling and taking care of the customers in front of her. She gets what customer service is all about and exemplifies great customer service. This girl, Holly, deserves recognition for what she does so very well. I booked more rooms here because of her service.

« 5 star service during hurricane evacuation »

We were there the night before hurricane Harvey hit, the hotel was evacuated via 2 notes under the hotel room door the following morning. We were not rushed out of the door, the evac was done early and was uneventful, everyone got their breakfast, no drama. The staff was helpful and cheerful and not a complaint or show of worry about their own homes that must have been in danger. They just wanted to help the guests-amazing.

« Truly exceptional business stay »

I have rarely had a hotel stay where I loved everything but this was it. The front desk staff went above and beyond to smile, say hello, and meet my needs and do so efficiently. I was extremely happy with my room, the view was spectacular, looking out over the water, with a balcony I could actually stand on, and a very comfortable bed, and layout to the room. Had everything I needed, good internet connection, nice large desk to work on, clean bathroom, and closet to hang my clothes. Refrigerator in room for drinks. I was able to use the business center to print quite a lot of paperwork and they had no problem letting me do so for no extra charge. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Located right on the water, where I walked and watched the pelicans and the eclipse.

« Amazing breakfast with a view... elevators need some TLC »

Let me start with the BEST part! Breakfast was great as well as the view that came along with it! Best Western has really exceeded expectations of breakfast at a hotel! I had read other reviews, that went back a number of months, and was disappointed to see there was still only 1 running elevator that only held maybe 6 people at a time, which made leaving hard when we had to each wait for elevators with minimal people which were also trying to check out, and not all the buttons in the one running elevator lit up. The lobby was NICE! The pool area was nice. The employees were extremely kind and helpful at all levels. We were in a handicap room on the 2nd floor which could definitely use some updating. There was a sink in the bathroom but no counter. there were 2 small shelves on the opposite wall which made it difficult to have things near the sink. The beds were comfortable but definitely worn. Room temperature was great! It was a comfortable stay, and may stay again. Just really need to fix the elevators.

« Great staff, decent property in great location »

Pros: great location, stayed in renovated room that had nice amenities (new TV, mini-fridge, microwave), got a good deal on a third-party site, fantastic free breakfast, staff was amazing in every respect (from specific room requests to my complaints), large balconies that face the water (no matter what side you're on), free covered parking Cons: a few pests in the room (tho management offered solutions and offered to move me rooms), one out of the two elevators were down causing long wait times (and reading old reviews, seems like it's been down for some time), hotel could be noisy at times with other guests (but the hotel was full and there were pets/children). Overall, the stay wasn't bad at all. It is not a perfect hotel, but there are plenty of perks that make up for the imperfections. If you book this hotel expecting a luxurious, knock-you-off-your-feet property, move along. But for a mid-priced stay with a few issues that aren't the end of the world, you'll do fine here. I can't emphasize how terrific the staff was at every turn. They always had a smile on their face, they went out of their way to say hello and check in and gave my pooch treats often to make sure he was satisfied too. At breakfast each morning, staff members were perky and used the opportunity to check in on how my stay was (and it wasn't a passive conversation -- one specific issue was addressed from that conversation within the hour).

« Fun staff, Good Value »

If smiles make a difference at check-in, you're gonna love the Best Western on N. Shoreline in Corpus Christi. Their breakfast is a notch above most other chains who offer a free breakfast. The view from their lounge is positively beautiful as it overlooks the Bay and the Marina. Why stay center city when you can stay on the water without getting squeezed by a room rate?

There was ketchup (I hope that's what it was) splattered on one wall & the bathroom sink did not drain well. Water was left standing in the sink waiting for the next person...YUCK!! I did tell the front desk when we were checking out. Since we were just there one night & not in the room very much, I didn't report the problem while there. I do hope it is taken care of for the next visitor. The location & value of the hotel made it worth while for us.

My Son in Law and I rode to Port A and Corpus Christi for a two day ride. We stayed at the BWCC which used to be called the Marina Grand Hotel. My wife and I have been staying here for the last 4 years at least twice a year. We love this hotel and now my Son in law wants to bring his wife or I should say my daughter to stay here in the near future. In other words he loves it too now that he has stayed here and felt the warmth of the atmosphere.

    « Great Bay view »

Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay. Our room had a great view and the breakfast in the mornings were very good. Staff was very helpful and friendly. We reported a problem with the balcony sliding glass door and mntc. was up there right away. Also, we thought the refrigerator did not work. We discovered by accident later that the power was on a light switch that apparently controlled wall outlets. While I realize this is not unusual for lights and other power, I have never seen a refrigerator controlled that way in a hotel.

« Decent rooms but old, smells mildewy, terrible breakfast »

We visited Corpus Christi and Port Aransas for the 4th of July weekend. As expected, most of the hotels were full. We decided to stay in this one since is waterfront and you can walk to the marina and there are a few restaurants around walking distance as well. The lobby of the hotel looks remodel and there is a long table to connect your laptops and wait. Also, there is free Wi-Fi in the hotel. The hotel has inside of it a small sundry shop and a Blimpie's sandwiches with some coffee and drinks. The room was spacious and clean. It had a king size bed with a flat screen TV, a microwave and a mini bar. Next a desk with a chair and a bigger chair to sit. We had a balcony and a view at the pool below us. The bathroom looked old and needed to be upgraded. The tub had nicks and rust stains, the ceiling had wet stains, the door has a lot of paint nicks and overall the room smelled musty and mildewy. Other than that, the room was clean. The pool is on the second floor and is a little small, since it gets sun all day the water was hot and they had a few people swimming and lounging on the chairs. The pool and the area around it was clean and you could get dry towels and drop off the wet ones. The breakfast was held on the 11 floor with a nice view to the bay. The food overall was terrible (except for the waffles), the juice and drinks came all watered down with a small color of the juice. The fruit and bread tasted stale. The people taking care of the buffet were refilling quickly though. The waffles since they were made there were the best ones. Due to the weekend, the lines to get food were really long a well. As other people said, the elevator was a really slow and sometimes it was faster to go up and down the stairs than wait for it.

Went to see the aircraft carrier USA Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium both of which were excellent. The Best Western at the marina was excellent and had the most helpful and courteous staff. Had dinner the last night at Landry's on the water, wonderful food. Easy town to get around. The view from the 11th floor lounge was magnificent with a great view of the bridge lit up at night.

They should of offered discount or something

    « Great hotel »

This was a great hotel to stay at for our vacation. Awesome views and a great buffet. Employees at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The reason for the 4 stars is that we stayed here 2 nights and our room wasn't cleaned. I had to ask for fresh towels at the front desk. For the high cost of our room I felt like it should've been cleaned.

« Great deal for the price-minor issues »

location, price, pool and breakfast were excellent- room location not so much, was in front of the pool which incidentally meant dealing with loud people all day and after pool closing hours, lots of little people looking in our room and ice machine on the other side of the bed...

« Very disappointed and disgusted! »

Went to Corpus for a getaway after a rough couple of months and was very disappointed in this hotel. I was a little scared after several recent reviews of the hotel, but when we got to our room the view was gorgeous and the room was great the FIRST night besides doors slamming and dogs barking all night. After coming back to our room the second night from dinner and the beach, we came back to roaches crawling on the night stand and in the tub so after a long day at the beach we had to change rooms at 11pm. My children were disgusted as we have never experienced roaches in a hotel room ever before. Elevators were very slow, small and got stuck for a hotel this size. This hotel allows any size dogs that bark all hours of the night and it smells like pet urine when walking out the main entrance of the hotel. The hotel also charged me double for our stay and say they can't do anything about it for three days. I would recommend staying at another hotel that doesn't have crawly critters and a staff that doesn't charge you twice for your stay and says there is nothing they can do about it for three days past your stay plus the manager doesn't return calls, you have to call them. My child has health issues so having roaches in the room and our bathroom not being cleaned is unacceptable. If your room is cleaned daily and there are no renovations going on in the hotel it isn't acceptable to have multiple roaches in your room. If you don't want extra guests in your room, dogs barking all hours of the night and doors slamming all night, then stay at another hotel. We will never stay at the Best Western Corpus Christi again and strongly recommend staying at one of the nicer hotels over looking the bay!

    5
« Best Western on the Beach »

Very good hotel for the price, can beat the fact that is in front of the beach! Breakfast was great a lot of selection, even you can make your own pancake. Very friendly people at the front desk. I like the concept of having the relax room with happy hour on the eleven floor, the view of the bay is spectacular.

    « Good Hotel »

The hotel is clean, elegant, located in a great part of town, very close to the beach and several restaurants and fast food joints within a walking distance. room was clean, beds were good, room had a microwave and mini-fridge. Amble free parking, some are even covered. Breakfast was very good with A LOT of variety. Only two elevator for 11 floors, so it took several minutes every time we went for one. Used the stairs several times instead. The Odd number rooms didn't have a view but even number rooms had a good sea / marina view. Staff was helpful. One made a mistake with my room, and I had to go to the reception to reactivate my keys every day. the bill had an issue at the end of the stay but they corrected it and gave me extra credit.

    « Highly Recommend »

All rooms have a balcony with a view. This was great for Fourth of July Excellent and complete complimentary breakfast including waffles, pancakes, biscuits, gravy, eggs, meat, cereal, breads, coffee, flavored waters, all condiments, and much more. Check in was efficient and courteous. There is an excellent view lounge on the top floor (although this was closed during my stay for a private event). I am familiar with downtown Corpus Christi hotels and few aren't going to disappoint guests these days. Best Western on Shoreline is a very good selection.

    3
    « Safety and accessibility »

The hotel has limited space for disabled parking. No Wheelchair ramp or elevator from the parking to Lobby. The sign for "Do Not Enter" have poor visibility. Overall the location of the hotel is great. Service is good. Very helpful staff. No first aid kit available in the hotel. Internet was excellent.

    « Weekend getaway »

Perfect little weekend getaway during July fourth weekend. It was busy but staff was always courteous and accommodating. There is a rooftop breakfast area with a beautiful view of the marina. Rooms have beautiful views from the balcony. Original whataburger next door. Had a small issue with the room, but Holly and gabby were quick to accommodate and handle the situation promptly, especially with the long lines during check in process, with a full house. A bit more pricey during this holiday weekend. They also have cool spinny shower heads. Would definitely come back again.

    « Disappointed with hotel »

The room was acceptable and the staff were very nice and helpful. But, one evening when we returned one of the rolled up towels was damp. And not all the coffee trash was picked up. Also, the A/C was either on or off completely. At least it got cold, but really cold at night when it could not be moderated.

    « Very impressed »

I'm always impressed with the friendly atmosphere, professional yet helpful staff and the overall good vibe from this property. We have made this our getaway spot in south Texas. They have expanded both the breakfast buffet to include a yogurt granola bar and also have a Blimpies, Kona Coffee and Smoothie restaurant on the premises. Quite a varied menu as well.

    « Roach! Stay Away! »

My wife and I stayed for one night while we explored the southern Texas coast. As we were getting settled in for the night my wife looked up and there was a giant roach climbing across the wall. I dispatched it and took it to the front desk looking for some reassurance this wasn't normal. The front desk clerk claimed this happened because of the time of year. Maybe roaches like AC too? I asked for some type of compensation and I was told since I booked through a 3rd party they couldn't do anything. I have also emailed BW directly stating my situation and still have not heard anything. My suggestion would be to stay away from this place. They don't seem to be to concerned with customer care.

« Convenient and clean location »

We had no problem at all finding this hotel and checking in. The covered parking is located to the side of the building with a short walk. This hotel is located across the boulevard from the marina and bay. It has a Blimpie's Sandwich Shop but if that isn't your liking then there is a Whataburger in walking distance and behind the hotel is Water Street Seafood, Water Street Oyster Bar, Executive Surf Club and across the boulevard is Joe's Crab Shack and also Landry's. The elevator is very small but sufficed as it was not busy. Our room was on the side that the pool and parking lot were located. The room also had a small refrigerator as well as a small microwave and a cup coffeemaker. The pool was average size but we did not visit it, just viewed it from our window. We could see some of the marina but it was not a direct view. The room was a comfy temperature when we arrived around 3:30 and were able to check in a little early. This is not a luxury hotel but all was clean and neat but did notice some wear and repair in the bathroom. The bed was comfy but the pillows were lumpy. The TV worked fine and they do have a small-keyed safe in the vanity area. The sink is separate from the tub area but there is a large wall mirror with shelf in the shower area. The towels were adequate but need to grab one before showering as they are located where the sink is. This has a tub/shower combo and I have never seen a rotating shower head, which this has. I didn't particularly care for it as I prefer a strong, steady water flow rather than the rotating effect. They have wall mounted dispensers for soap, shampoo and conditioner. There are no other toiletries (ie. mouthwash, face wipes, shower cap etc.) You may be able to purchase these at the front desk area. The toilet tissue roll is difficult to reach when you need it as it is positioned behind the toilet. Since this is located on a boulevard we could hear the traffic when loud vehicles zoomed by at 11 pm back and forth even though we were on the 7th floor. But there was no hall noise at all. The roomy lounge is on the 11th floor and open Mon.-Sat. but closed on Sun. It is a very modern, clean design with a great bay view. The complimentary breakfast was in a very large eating area also on the 11th floor with side views of the bay and downtown Corpus. They had plenty of room to move around and a standard selection of items (ie. scrambled eggs, potatoes, refried beans, pastries, fruit etc). The potatoes were large cubes but mushy rather than crisp and the fruit was small selection of watermelon or cantaloupe. They had flour tortillas to make a taco. There was also a waffle maker and you could go simpler with cereal and some pastries. They had a drink dispenser with juices and flavored water. The area was very clean and they had one TV. Staff was visible the entire time to assist if needed. Our check out was no issue and the desk clerk, Mandy, was very friendly and enjoyed chatting with her. We would definitely stay here again as it is conveniently located, clean, comfy and appreciated the covered parking. On a side note, one evening around 9:30 after returning and exiting our vehicle in the lot, we were approaching by a polite panhandler. Luckily the parking lot is well lit since we were parked in the back of it so it wasn't too disconcerting. The next day in town we noticed a sign for not giving change to panhandlers. So there must be an issue with them in the area. We did see a few on the Shoreline walkway too but they were not annoying or bothersome.

    « WARNING!!! »

We had a very unsatisfactory experience. The room had an AC vent that was leaking water. Getting out of bed and on the way to the bathroom the carpet was wet. Condensation was leaking down the wall continuously. The room was rented to us and is probably used regularly, which means mold and mildew could already be accumulated in the vents. The issue was reported and we were told it was our fault for turning the AC down to low. Really? Didn't get checked in until after check-in time. Kind of place you would expect in a very poor third world country.

« Nice room just extremely loud »

The hotel room was very nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the room had no sound proofing and you could hear the very loud traffic outside. Our neighbors were loud on all sides and people would stand in the hallway at 2 am talking and would wake us up.

Clean clean hotel! Housekeeping was excellent. Enjoyed the pool. Comfortable beds. Grand views! Good breakfast. Loved the balcony to watch the sun rise each morning. Friendly staff. Great location to the restaurants we like! Good wi-fi. Cons: The elevators are small in size and it is slower than most places to move around and get where you need to go. Prepare accordingly. Mid week was better than weekends of course.

Hotel was in a good location right across from the t heads on shoreline. We were pleased with the place until we woke up Memorial Day to attend a memorial at a cemetery in the area. We went to shower and get ready, and the shower handle was stripped out. The limited staff could not fix the problem. They cleaned up a room next to us and we had to shower there. We decided to stay at another location the following night.

The only itty-bitty complaint that I had was that we were not informed upon check in about no hot water, however when I called front desk they showed concern and gave me as much information as they could on when the issue would be fixed. We got back from our day out and we had hot water so it was fixed on our first day which was great! Room was always freezing which is good for my daughter and fiancé as they throughly enjoy the room super cold. Overall always a wonderful experience and an added bonus is that we are rewards members so I'm looking forward to the perks being that we stay yearly!

Holly Hottenstein went above and beyond. She came to pick us up when our car stalled. She came in on her day off and picked us up. Carting us around trying to get our car to a repair shop. She waited with us for the tow truck and then took us to the airport to get a rental car so we could get home.

    « No A/C!!! »

My room had ZERO a/c. Reported issue to front desk three (3) times before they sent someone to look at the issue. On the third contact, the front desk staff hung up on me!!! A/C was. It fixed and I consequently spent 2 nights in an 80 degree room

« Ok if you absolutely need to be in the area »

But for the necessity of being in that area of Corpus for meetings, it's not a good value for your money. The breakfast room was overrun with so many people touching everything that I drove to breakfast at a cafe a few miles away. The renovated rooms look good at first glance, but the quality of workmanship is subpar. I'm usually not so critical but if I'm paying $200 nightly for such an undesirable area (area is rundown and many buildings in shambles or abandoned) I expect more from the accommodations. This is nothing like the better quality that BW chain offers in Europe. This hotel would greatly benefit from a Starbucks or other chain in the lobby.

« It was hot and not »

Staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel was nice and in a good location for what we were doing. The Air conditioner in the room didn't work well at all. Even when we turned it down, it never really cooled the room off. Staff was helpful in trying to tell us how to get the thermostat down, but that didn't help. Hot water didn't make it to the shower. Showers were lukewarm.

« No Management to be found- No Ac and couldn't sleep here »

We paid $270 for a one night stay, to get some rest before our 8 hour drive back home. Upon our arrival there were numerous dogs barking loudly on our floor. The hairdryer didn't want to work, some of the plugs were out and the ac wouldn't cool!! My husband had to go sleep in his truck with the AC on- which defeated the purpose of paying $270 for a room to sleep in. When contacting the front desk at the very first notice of the ac issue, we were told maintenance was heading home in a minute and thus couldn't look into fixing the issue now!!? We spoke to the front desk numerous times and were told no management with capabilities to make this right was around to help with our problem. Finally, the following day the maintenance mgr told us there was in fact a known issue with ac not cooling and he would track down a mgr to see what they could do for us, but again nobody was here to make decisions to help. Basically, we kept hearing you will have to try again later since no mgr is here to help. Again the following day, after being told a mgr would be in at 9am we contacted them and were told no mgr is here AGAIN! Supposedly, the front desk called a mgr on the phone who said they knew nothing of our issues! Which is odd because the maintenance mgr was calling and doing everything he could to get ahold of someone the day before.... I just can't imagine why a hotel wouldn't want to have some type of person with authority to keep customers happy within arms reach. I'm very disappointed that we payed this much for a place to sleep and couldn't do so. I hope the response to my review is more along the lines of solution driven versus excuse filled. I hope this was a random occurrence and not the norm for this place. The hotel is located in a cool area, imo but for these prices or ANY price people need better!

« Newly renovated hotel across the bay »

Pros: Covered free parking. Beautiful views from room balcony. Excellent free hot breakfast, breakfast area offers breathtaking views of the bay and downtown. Newly renovated, and rooms are nicely decorated. Sandwich shop/smoothies at lower level. Overall, hotel is in a great location, next to the waterfront with restaurants close by. Cons: A lot of homeless people outside hotel and in parking area. Very busy hotel, can get noisy at times. Elevator very small for about 3 people. Rooms very cold even without the A/C on. Bathroom area with a very small toilet and very low seat, toilet paper holder very far away, no place to rest towels because sink is outside the bathroom. No security bars in shower area. No fan in toilet area, gets muggy . No night light in bathroom. Bed pillows are square sofa size and smaller. No extra blankets. We had a mishap where maintenance tried to enter our room using his key without calling beforehand, but he was quite apologetic after the fact. Behind the hotel are some bars. Cars racing at night behind the hotel. Advice: Bring your own pillows. Bring winter pajamas and a sweater. As long as you are aware of the cons and prepare accordingly, this is a nice hotel. My family and I look forward to staying here again.

    « Enjoyable Stay »

I always enjoy staying at this Best Western when visiting Corpus Christi. It's location provides for a vacation attitude while visiting on business. Very close to restaurants especially my favorite place to visit while in Corpus Christi, Harrison's Landing. The hotel staff is always friendly, the rooms are nice and the location is perfect.

Check in Clerk was very nice and felt welcomed to stay here . I guess once the shoddy change it was a different clerk which wasn't as pleasant but the overall hotel and stay was great. Enjoyed the view the pool ( need more Parking area especially for SUVs ) and Breakfast was very good with exceptional Staff . Thank you

    « Great stay »

We stayed at this property while in town for a college graduation ceremony. The location is good with restaurants and the waterfront nearby. Our room had a king bed and was clean. Breakfast was standard hotel buffet fare, but as a bonus is served on the 11th floor overlooking the water. There is also an adults only lounge on the 11th floor and a sandwich/coffee shop adjacent to the lobby. I had a few minor issues. The hallway noise was loud. The elevators are very small. There was no sink in the bathroom. The hot water never really got hit enough for me. The toilet paper holder was positioned as such that you had to be a contortionist to reach it. All in all though I'd chalk these things up as minor. The staff was professional and courteous. I would stay here again.

« Are we there yet? The inevitable question. »

Stayed at this location which is just off Shoreline Drive. No beach access but a nice view none the less. I have eyed this property for a long time and it was either fully booked or over budget. The staff are friendly. From housekeeping, front desk, and the security that watches the parking lot all night. The breakfast staff are friendly and courteous. No complaints there. The beds are soft and easy to fall asleep. The air conditioning unit kept our room ice cold. There was a room on our floor that was smoking marijuana that seeped down the hall and into the rooms. The shower has its own soap dispensers (body wash, shampoo, and conditioner). The shower did not have hot water at about 2AM but did later at 10AM. Maybe high demand. Not much to complain about. Things were clean. Worth over $100 per night - not in my eyes. They are remodeling and maybe in the future the hotel will be worth that amount. There are other hotels that are better priced. Are we there as far as a 5 star stay? No. If you are getting the room at a discount rate then yes. Travel safe and have fun!

« Great place to stay »

Top rate staff, decent hotel, clean, well kept. Location is choice, right across rom Marina. Only mistake I made was reserving through Reservations.com, which hotel did not have control over. They fixed issues created by them. Turned out to be a great stay, we will be back. And super pet friendly property, Milk Bones handed out at front desk. Reasonable fee, not like other chains, which didn't and won't get my business.

« Best place to stay!! »

A great hotel to stay in. I have stayed in 3 other hotels in corpus and always come back to Best Western. I will no longer look for another hotel, they have earned my loyalty. Great service, Fantastic location, Rooms are clean and comfortable, and you get a really good breakfast to boot.

    « Great view / No bath »

Discovered at 10 pm that our shower/tub wasn't operational. My husband was scheduled for a surgical procedure early the next morning so there wasn't anything to be done. Very disappointed & feel as though we should have received a refund.

    « Excellent »

I Love this place, it's my new home away from home. The service was above expectations and amenities are excellent you can't go wrong with this place they have 3 restaurants onsite and a bar on the 11th floor.

    3
    « Good Location »

The location was great and that's why we chose this hotel. However, the building seemed in disrepair as we had plumbing and A/C problems in our room as did our traveling companions in theirs. We would probably stay elsewhere next visit to the area.

« Great location. Amazing staff. »

We stayed three nights at the Best Western Corpus Christi. Our room had a great view of the harbour. It was clean but perhaps a little on the older side. That being said I think they are renovating. Could have provided more than one bar of soap though (lotion too please). Staff at front desk and throughout the hotel could not have been friendlier or nicer. I would certainly recommend staying here.

    4
    « Amazing Staff »

Almost everything about this hotel was great. The only two complaints I have is that the air conditioner in the room never really cooled the room 100%. It was just cool enough for us to be comfortable enough to not say any more than we already did. The other issue we ran into was the balcony door wouldn't close 100% all the way which caused the warm sea air to come into the room. Which could be why the room never got really cool!

    4
« Great place to stay!!! »

It was our first time to visit Corpus Christi and I was extremely pleased with the quality and the price of the best Western and how close it was to all the activities. We especially like the sitting deck on the second floor that we could enjoy the view of the marina. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful to answer your questions and they did an awesome job. We were traveling with our small dog and it was a very dog friendly place.

    3
« Corpus Christi Marina Hotel »

On the marina, your paying for that, not the quality of room.Felt as if the pictures of the rooms did not truly show what you really get.Was in the process of being renovated so hopefully it is better when completed summer of 2017.AC couldn't cool room very humid when we stayed and shower didn't have enough water pressure.Felt like I should have did more checking of reviews before booking.

    « BW Corpus Christi »

Stay was good. We weren't able to sleep very well as we kept hearing either the flush being used like 30 times. Not sure if it was that or some issue with plumbing. No body lotions were provided. Nice view. We stayed on 9th floor. Good breakfast, although it would be good if they added more fruits/healthy options.

    5
« My first trip in Texas »

My trip to Corpus Christi was 100% hassle free. No traffic, no problems. All I have was a peace of mind. Hope to be back here again. I enjoyed the location because it's near tourist spots. Two thumbs up

« Best Western Corpus Christi »

Way overpriced for what it offers. Never before had a room with no towel bars on which to hang washcloth and towels. Very noisy air conditioning system. Staff was average. Breakfast offered many choices, but long lines for waffles.

    « Wonderful service, views »

Wonderful service from front desk despite late arrival @ 2:00 AM ! Views are great of Corpus Bay. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Refrig & other accessories were convient . Breakfast area was best I've seen on top floor glass walls making bay view fabulous!

« Met my expectations, Great location! »

My son and I stayed at the Best Western Marina Grand Hotel in February of 2017. I have stayed here in years past so was familiar with it. I was pleased as it has been updated nicely and felt comfortable and clean. It's definitely an older property but don't let that bother you. Really the only thing to complain about is that the old sliding door to the balcony was hard to open and close. The breakfast was quite good and gets you set for the day. I believe the number one thing about this hotel is its location. Once you exit the door you can literally walk to 4 or 5 decent restaurants / bars in a matter of like 4 minutes. Plus you get a great view over the marina.

« Old But Not Tired »

This hotel is dated, but its location, views, and breakfast area are outstanding. The hotel staff are truly a professional lot. During my stay I observed a lot of construction. Possibly renovations. My room was well stocked, and most comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and well prepared. I usually stay at the Omni, but they were booked, as it turned out, I saved a bunch of money, and found a new favorite hotel. Well done B.W. See you soon!

« Best Western Corpus Christi »

The hotel was newly renovated and looked aesthetically pleasing. The hotel staff were extremely cordial and helpful, we were traveling with 16 teenagers and our check in was smooth. There was a conference that weekend & the hotel was booked with hundreds of teenagers but when you went to the breakfast area there was plenty of food for everyone, the staff was friendly and the area was extremely tidy for the amount of people there.

Awesome service. The breakfast could use a little "update." Not much to choose from. Hotel seems older but our stay was pleasant. The location of the hotel was perfect for our purposes. It seemed centrL to all the ballparks that we were going to.

    « Would stay again »

It wasn't my first choice but the only thing available in the area I wanted. I was pleasantly surprised. It's a basic hotel but it is clean and comfortable. Bed is nice. Room was pretty quiet. Staff was very nice and sweet. Breakfast was great and the view is a nice bonus. Location is great. Plenty of parking with an all night security guard.

    « O M G »

Perhaps I am a grumpy old man. I made this booking as our plans changed at the last minute. Walking into the hotel we said to each other that we had made a mistake..... The hotel looked as if it had not been looked after for a long time. We asked for quiet room. Even after turning off the air conditioning there was a constant humming sound. The decor was a unpleasant mustard shade. The room was extremely basic and the bathroom seem as small step up from a public toilet. It was clean. The wash basin was in the corridor outside the bathroom. Most strange. Compared to the room we had at Best Western in Houston they were worlds apart.

    « Clean but outdated »

Arrived and the A/C was blasting. The bed was comfortable and view was great. Seen the pier and beautiful boats outside my balcony. Pool was ok and breakfast had a great selection. Only upset was the A/C unit was very noisy, lack of hot water and shower was not working.

    « A Corpus Christi Grand View »

I have visited Corpus Christi many times and this Best Western is my favorite because of it's location, view, proximity to recreation and places to eat, and having the most gracious staff. Facility is clean, has secure parking, decor is beautiful, internet, breakfast and staff all are great.

« Best Western in Corpus Christi »

High rise hotel, with stunning views of Corpus Christi's small boat harbor, the bay and the bridge! If you've never seen the brige, it is a stunning steel structure with really great light effects at night. It rises over the ship channel and is high over the Texas State Aquarium and USS Lexington. If your room is on the bridge side you can watch the changing colors from your room. The room was really nice and quiet, with a small balcony accessed by the floor to ceiling sliding glass door. The entire exterior "wall" was floor to ceiling windows....Amazing

Love this place. The staff was wonderful. All of them. From front desk night and day clerks to housekeeping. All spoke with a smile over the phone. And in person, they surely did have big smiles on their faces. This is my 2nd year staying here for our annual conference. I plan on staying here next year as well. Wish they'd sell/serve lunch though, or probably dinner would be the most beneficial for the company and guests. Their breakfast was very good, and the breakfast staff were wonderful as usual.

« Overnight to Corpus Christi »

We were there for an Elton John concert right down the street from this Best Western. The hotel is in an excellent location for the view and convenience to night life and bay front walks. There are restaurants in walking distance. The staff is great and the hotel is always very clean. There is a wonderful bar on top floor with great views. We definitely will return.

    3
« Not a bad price for what you get »

I was here for a conference and stayed the week. Although my room was right by the elevator, while sleeping I was not disturbed by any noise. The breakfast was good and had a lot of choices to include male your own waffles and pancakes. My room had a fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The property offers free parking. This may not be as fancy as the Omni but the parking and breakfast more than make up for it. Only thing that sticks out in my mind was the shower being a bit quirky to get hot water and the pressure, otherwise everything was fine.

    5
« Great get away for the price! »

You could easily spend more for less. After getting settled in we went to the lounge area on the 11th floor where we discovered an amazing view of the water. Drinks were made very well. After enjoying a great meal at Harrison's, we easily fell asleep in our king size bed. The next morning we were going to try a local restaurant for breakfast but decided to give the hotel complimentary breakfast a try. We were very surprised to find a fill breakfast available. They had eggs, beans, and potatoes for breakfast tacos and you could make your own waffles. Of course the usual cereal and coffee. We could not have been happier with our stay.

« Will be back if I travel here again »

I was in town because my brother was in the hospital. When I needed to extend my stay by a day, but wanted a 1 bed room instead of a 2 bed room, they held my luggage at the front desk in a locked closet so I wouldn't have to lug it to the hospital while my new room was prepared. The breakfast was very nice every morning.

    « Good location, but so-so value »

My wife and I spent the weekend in Corpus Christi as a "fun getaway" and selected this location to stay. The stay was OK, but given the prices charged per night, the overall value was diminished. The rooms are advertised to be available by 4 pm. It was close to 6 pm, however, before our room was ready. From direct observation of several other guests, their rooms weren't ready by 4 pm, either. The complimentary breakfast buffet was adequate, but the staff seemed unable to keep it stocked due to demand. The second morning we were there, most of the breakfast items were completely gone half an hour before the buffet closed. We had a balcony room, and would've enjoyed having chairs available to sit outside and actually enjoy using it. Both the delayed room readiness and lack of buffet items detracted from the value of the stay, especially given the rates being charged. There were, though, a few positives about our stay. The view from our room (608) was quite scenic. There are dispensers in the shower for shampoo, conditioner and soap, which was a nice touch. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and kept our room cool. Our bed was comfortable. Overall, we would probably stay here again, if the issues above are properly addressed, or the room rates are lower to make the stay a better value.

    4
    « Marina View »

Staff was superb, courteous, helpful and gave us recommendations on great places to eat nearby. The pool is nicely situated, you can keep an eye on the kids and yet get to enjoy the view as well. « Great stay! »

This was a last minute booking (I booked as we were on the road) and the website must have changed the dates automatically to show me a cheaper rate but I did not realize it and booked it. I got to the hotel, exhausted and ready to settle in. I was greeted by Kassandra who was very welcoming. She realized that I booked for the wrong day but she took care of us. She was patient, kind, and understanding. We also went to the bar upstairs and it was gorgeous! Again, we were greeted by a welcoming staff. The new bar manager and the employee working that night were so friendly. Great customer service by the entire staff! If I ever go to Corpus again, I will be staying there again because of Kassandra and the bar employees.

« Spur of the moment getaway »

Stayed 3 nights, bed was comfy and the room was pretty clean. I am picky and noticed the carpet needed a little vacuuming, but nothing real serious. We stayed on the 9th floor and had a good view of the ocean. Complimentary breakfast was great! The employees were very friendly. The location is very convenient, close to all the places we wanted to see. We found a great restaurant across the street in the marina. The Wifi was a little difficult when I tried to purchase advance tickets online for the TX State Aquarium just down the road and a few other times when looking to see what we wanted to venture out to see the next day. Maybe they could get together with the Chamber of Commerce and offer a little package of things that Corpus Christi has to offer? None the less, we enjoyed our visit and hope to go back soon!

    « Great Place!! »

I had to stay in Corpus one night close to the hospital and got a great price. Loved everything about this hotel. Check in was easy and room very clean, nice and cool. Bed was super comfortable. They have people there making sure everything is replenished and anything you may need. Definitely would stay here again!!

    « Good location! »

The hotel is easy to locate. They do have a large parking area (there is covered and un-covered parking.) A marina is located across the street; just a few steps from the hotel, you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the marina. I had a room on the 5th floor and it was comfortable and clean. I was a bit disappointed in the view I had. I had a great view of the 2 story Whataburger next door, but not so much of the water and boats. If the view is important to you, make sure you request the best view (which is most likely on the highest floor on the opposite side (from Whataburger!) The breakfast served each morning on the top floor was yummy! My main goal was to visit the Texas State Aquarium while in town. It was in very close proximity to this hotel. Be mindful that the hotel is located in the down town area. It can be busy and noisy on the weekends, and sometimes you will spot questionable people hanging around the marina. I must say that I made this trip alone, and never felt unsafe outside of the hotel. The police department is just behind the hotel also! My biggest complaint was the wifi (it was spotty at best and a little frustrating.)

    « Quick weekend getaway »

Check in was great. View was pretty good. Bar on 11th floor was wonderful. Room, although is was nice, had a small fridge and microwave. Everything was clean except the wall under the ac vent. When we first came in, it was warm. We turned the AC down. Unpacked and left. Didn't return until after 11pm. It was very humid inside the room... not comfortable all night. Very possible it would have been resolved had I called someone but didn't want to bother anyone late at night and knowing I was only there for a night. Offered breakfast, which was ok in the whole grand scheme of things.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Corpus Christi. The location was great. We were close to the harbor and within walking distance to a number of restaurants. It was a very short drive to the Lexington and aquarium. The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was really good. I would recommend not waiting until close to the end of breakfast service as the tables can really fill up ( we were there on a weekend so it could be different during the week). The staff was friendly. The only oddity for me was that there is only one staircase which is located in the center of the building near the elevators. In an emergency it could be an issue. I would stay again though. The pool looked nice but we were busy doing other things and didn't use it.

« Very Good Hotel and excellent Staff. Keep it up!!! »

Really nice place to stay. The staff was very nice including the housekeeping staff. The rooms were nice and modern and I enjoyed my stay. They allow pets and that's a plus for me as I seldom travel without my dog.

We enjoyed the closeness to the marina, restaurants and local attractions. There was a very nice pool area. Very pleasant front desk staff. Average breakfast. Covered parking. Will definitely consider using this hotel again when in the area.

    « FANTASTIC!! MUST BOOK! »

The desk clerk, Mandy, made our check in easy and was very friendly and efficient. The room was large with a balcony and a water view! The room was very clean, and I'm particular!! Couldn't find anything to complain about. The breakfast buffet was very good each morning something different. Scrambled eggs, sausage patties, pancakes and waffles, etc Not the usual menu at such buffets. All tasty and well seasoned. Frank did a good job with the buffet meal and kept everything refilled. I would recommend this hotel to all those picky vacationers who want a clean place with friendly people to help them.

« Great experience, great value! »

We booked August 2nd thru August 5th and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We arrived around 1:30 PM and check in was a breeze, Bridgette (unsure if spelled correctly) checked us in. When we got to our room (309) we went to our balcony and noticed we didn't have a view due to a large palm tree blocking the view, I went down to the front desk and spoke with Delma and she immediately accommodated us and put us in room 304, huge difference the view was beautiful! The room was spacious, comfy, cold, and very clean! The entire staff from front of the house to back of the house was very helpful, courteous and friendly. The breakfast was great with plenty of options and a great view! The lounge at night was a beautiful sight! On our 3rd day we left our Yeti Hopper, yes our Yeti, in the front of the hotel entrance, we forgot it while packing up to go to the beach for the day. When we realized and called about an hour and half later the front desk had it. Hotel maintenance had picked it up and turned it in! What great class and character we were so thankful and relieved! We were frequent patrons to the bayfront hotel on water st. and after a last horrible experience 2 months ago we decided to take our money elsewhere. The hotel staff was rude and had no concern for their so few guests, especially because we always stayed at least 3 nights. I will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and can't wait to visit again next summer! We will definitely make this our annual hotel destination!

« Nice stay and close to nearby attractions »

We had a nice stay at the Best Western. Enjoyed the daily breakfast, several choices that change daily. Was great to be so close to the USS Lexington and the Texas State Aquarium. The beds were comfortable as well! The AC was super cold and the amenities were good. Recommend a stay here.

« Nice Hotel, great location »

Stayed one night only on July 29, wished we had booked for longer stayed. Really liked the hotel, wonderful location by the Marina area, across the ocean, on Shoreline Drive, the main avenue by the water. Had great marina view from our room balcony. Very nice breakfast included, located on 11th floor, large space, good food variety, another nice ocean view. Very centrally located, couple of blocks to either Joe's Crab Shack or Landry's seafood place. Minutes from the Aquarium (worth a visit) and the USS Lexington. Did not go to the public beach, but drove by it, not far away. Had nice seafood gumbo soup at Oyster Bar place on the street behind the hotel.

« Great for the family »

Me and my wife our son and my younger sister stayed here and I have to say what a cool pool! The lights at night made us want to jump right in. It's very clean for the size of the hotel. Breakfast was a cool idea but the food needs a little work, but the fact that it's free helped us save some money which is great. The beds are so comfortable we got a great nights sleep. Only con we encountered was one specific employee who had a huge staring problem, yes we are an alternative family but he really creeped us out. Otherwise the room the extra towels! The soft linens and perfect location nearest our favorite part of the beach was awesome we will definitely be back.

    « Good location! »

Located within walking distance of some really good restaurants. We enjoyed the Executive Surf Club and the Texas Surf Museum across the street. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. FREE covered parking! We talked to a very friendly housekeeper on the 6th floor but I didn't get her name. Nice, large breakfast area on the top floor with pretty bay views while you eat. The hotel is a little dated but fine for the price we paid. Our kids enjoyed the pool. There are towels you can use in the pool area so you don't have to use your own. Very comfortable beds and pillows!

« Excellent location, great room »

We had asked for a quiet room and we hit the jackpot with the top floor in the corner so perfect for us. Great to have a balcony with (side) views of the marina and bay. This is an older hotel but is quiet and comfortable. It was very busy on the holiday weekend of course and breakfast was a bit of a scrum with items running out quickly but helpful staff. Bar on the top floor has been refurbished and is excellent also as is their staff. Perfect for a pre or post dinner drink. Easy walking distance from restaurants and activities.

    4
« Great location, convenient and pretty views. »

If you are looking for a mid-priced hotel that is a great location, I recommend this one. The hotel faces the marina and every room has a view. The Texas Aquarium and the USS Lexington are a quick ride over the bridge. The hotel lobby is spacious and the staff is friendly. I will say the hotel looks a bit weathered. We were on the 6th floor and the hallway carpet was stained. Carpets should be replaced. The room, however, was spotless with a new vanity and toilet with plenty of counter space. Comfortable bed, pillows and lots of towels! Breakfast on the 11th floor with all around-views was very generous - no complaints.

« Pleasantly surprised and I would stay again! »

I have stayed in Best Western at different locations before but nowhere was like this. For the location, price, & quality, I chose this Best Western Marina Corpus Christi. The hotel was right near the ocean, and the outside building looked very nice & clean. When I checked in, the staff was very courteous and friendly. They honored my request for "ocean view" which was worth priceless. Parking was free, so I didn't have to worry about additional cost. The free continental breakfast with ocean view on the 11th floor was wonderful, much more pleasant experience than what I expected. The kitchen staff, "Sandra", showed pride and ownership inher work. I travel quite often and without hesitation, would recommend to my family and friends to stay here.

    « Comfort and convenience »

We stayed here for the convenience of being close to the American Bank Center for the A&M graduation. The hotel was clean, parking was sufficient, and service at check-in was on-par. The hotel isn't on the "beach", so there isn't really anywhere to lay out and relax, except for the pool onsite. Although not the fault of the hotel, the city was experiencing a water boil during the weekend we stayed at the hotel. It was not overly inconvenient, as the hotel provided bottled water for drinking. Thankful for the comedic relief of others staying in the hotel not understanding they could not drink the coffee from the machine that was hooked up to a water line. The hotel is located across the street from a restaurant called Dos Comales -- worth the visit! Would stay here again if ever need to attend another graduation, otherwise will stay somewhere else if vacationing due to the price and lack of beach area.

Pleasantly surprised..I'd definitely choose this property again when in Corpus. I was there on business and needed a quiet room. All my requests were met. It's also family friendly, but they have a quiet spot on the 11th floor reserved for adults only. Staff..spot on, location is awesome.

« Great for the Price »

Very Freindly staff, awesome location, rooms are nice, price is good. My only complaint is terrible water pressure in shower and little to no hot water. It was just warm. The bar on the eleventh floor is awesome and I highly recommend a visit.

« Would definitely stay here again! »

I'm not familiar with Corpus Christi, but I thought our location on Shoreline was the best. We walked downtown, enjoyed live music and the restaurants, and looking out at the Gulf. Everyone who we encountered at motel was so courteous and helpful. Room was great!

« Great Hotel with a view of the water »

Can view the Lexington and the boats coming in, with a lot of activities to participant in if you like or just sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. Several places to eat but are a little pricey. Within minutes of the Lexington and the Aquarium which are great way to spend your time. Minutes from Podre Island which is well worth the visit there.

« Great place to stay »

Customer service was excellent. Housekeeping had a very nice demeanor. Rooms were clean and plenty of hot water for 4 girls. A big plus! Pool was nice and although a small swimming area was family friendly. Walk to beach was decent. Overall two thumbs up!

« Right on the Harbor »

Great experience directly on the Harbor. We were there during an extremely busy time (4th of July) and still got into a room ahead of check-in time. Although the hotel was packed with families, our room was quiet. Easy walking distance to Harbor attractions and restaurants. Adequate covered parking.

    2
« Not the hotel for us.... »

Pros: The view from the 11th floor is nice. They also offer free breakfast. Cons: The elevators are slow and smelled of urine. The rooms seemed a bit dated and we saw a hole in the roof of the hotel from our window. Despite being a smoke free location, our room smelled of smoke. The balcony attached to our room needed to be cleaned.

    « Convenient Affordable »

Grand Marina Best Western was able to accomodate us on an unplanned overnight stay during a busy Holiday week-end at a affordable price with immediate check-in! We were pleasantly surprised with the included ammenites....free breakfast in the morning.

« Average Hotel in Corpus »

We stayed at this hotel because it was a pet friendly hotel: Upon arrival, there was a line of about 7 guests checking in/out, with only one front desk clerk. After several minutes of waiting, I asked the clerk if she was the only person at the front desk. She responded by saying that the "other clerk had quit and management did not want them to put overtime." A sign that finances are more important than customer service! When checking in to our room (with half of our luggage's on hand), we noticed that the room was still dirty. We got another room with average amenities. The coffee maker did not work, a few hairs in the bathroom, and the loud cars from the traffic at night were just the few negatives about this hotel. As well, when checking out, the sales person was handling the check outs as the FD Mgr had gone to the bank. She asked me, "how was your stay?" After explaining to her about being given a dirty room and having to cart half of our luggage to another room, there was NO apology from her, she simply continued with the checkout process. I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 10 years and look for small little details such as these, so it is apparent that the hotel in general could use a bit more training (customer service & housekeeping related).

    « Stay here! »

We stayed for just one night but wish we'd planned a longer visit. This hotel is in an excellent location, is clean, has caring, efficient employees and great views! Checking in was easy. Parking was easy. The room was nice, clean and big and had a GREAT view! The needed information for both the hotel and the general area was easily attainable. The full breakfast was very good and again, a GREAT view! We wished we'd spent more time right there at the Best Western and had enjoyed the inviting pool and the top floor lounge. We hope to stay here again.

    « Great value »

Stayed here from the 6/19-6/24 for business. Location was very convenient with terrific views of the marina and bay. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations about the area. Morning breakfast was more than I've ever had at a hotel. So many choices even healthy choices. Rooms were clean and large. Elevators worked well. However the hotel is a very old hotel. Expect heavy metal doors and trim with layers of paint. Some fixtures in the bathroom have been updated but expect a very industrial toilet. There is noise from other toilets and showers but only heard neighbors if they were just outside the door. Also there is a lot of street noise from the large glass windows. However once you close the heavy duty curtains the noise is gone. Be prepared for very weak water pressure from the crazy shower head. There's plenty of pressure from the spout but once you pull the diverter it goes to a trickle. Very difficult to get conditioner out of your hair much less beach sand. I reported it to the front desk and they sent up a maintenance man but it didn't make any difference in the water pressure. Room was always clean but housekeeping was obviously overwhelmed. Hotel was very busy this week. One day room didn't get cleaned until after 3pm after I called and asked twice to have it cleaned. Same thing happened to my friend's room on the 10th floor. Another day the room was cleaned but no fresh towels were left. When I stopped housekeeping in the hallway they gave me fresh towels and a box of kleenex to replace the empty box. They were very friendly. Overall based on price, location, breakfast, friendliness of the staff and cleanliness, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

« Ok Hotel, Great Location »

Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, beds comfortable, but hotel is dated. The location is ideal to the marina and bay. Street traffic is loud at night when trying to sleep. Sounds like cars are street racing. We stayed on the 9th floor and water flowing thru the pipes was very loud in the room. Typical amenities in the room, fridge and microwave included. Had to request wash cloths every night of our stay but these were promptly brought up to us. Breakfast was ok: eggs, sausage, waffles, juice, pastries, etc. Would have liked more fresh fruit as opposed to canned fruit cocktail and sliced watermelon.

Well maintained hotel across the street from Corpus Christi marina. Rooms recently remodeled, everything nice and clean. Large room, AC worked great. Nice pool but the tile could use a good scrubbing. Separate covered area for those who don't want to be in the sun. Several nice restaurants within easy walking distance, and for fast food, there is a 2 story Whataburger 1 block away. Short drive to freeway. Fantastic views from 11th floor lounge and breakfast area

Very clean, friendly staff and super convenient location! My son loved the pool and the fresh waffles for breakfast :) The only thing I didn't like was the shower head and water, it got cold right in the middle of showering and the stream was very weak. Other than that, this place was great for a quick family get away.

Not a bad hotel in a city that looks like it could use some TLC. The staff was really friendly and there is a coffee machine in the lobby that works all day. I had them send a fax and they did it at no extra cost. Small fridge in room can store snacks and Gatorade.

« My Go to hotel in Corpus »

I love the location of this hotel. I walk the beach across the street, then use their very good fitness room. A light breakfast for me in the beautiful setting at the top of the hotel (included in the price of the room) and then a little poolside for some leisurely book reading and swimming in the crystal clear pool. Just some relaxation for me while my husband is in meetings. And the bed at the end of the day? Awesome! Just wish people in their rooms would remember that silence is golden after 11:00. But the staff were quick to respond to subdue the noise.

« Panic! At This Hotel »

My husband and I booked this hotel through Priceline for a local concert we were attending. At check in there is clearly a delay, with a line of guests out the door. I realize it's a busy season so I didn't fault them for this. Once we're checked in, at first glance our room is lovely with a gorgeous view of the marina. Towards the later part of the day we noticed a quirk in the plumbing. When the toilet was flushed, water and bits of paper floated up from the bathtub drain. This was pretty gross so we called the front desk and they said they would send someone. After our concert we came to find the tub had collected more than water. Calling the front desk again we were told no one could come until the next morning at 7am. We could not shower nor use the toilet since that was not flushing either. We were denied a different room due to being fully booked and denied a refund. Thanks to the amazing customer service at Priceline we were given our refund. Not looking to book at this hotel again.

« An Anniversary Trip To Corpus Christi »

Pros: Great view, good breakfast, comfortable bed, nice staff, covered free parking, great location, lovely top floor view and bar Cons: rooms are tired looking, awkward bathroom setup, noisy street, small elevators, cold rooms where temp cannot be adjusted - only fan speed Try to avoid a room near the elevator because it dings every time it stops on your floor

    3
« People Extremely Nice, A/C very good, Breakfast has no meat »

Stayed 3 nights. The people on staff were very nice. The A/C cooled well. Could not tell and difference in the fan speeds. Low, Med, and High all felt and sounded the same. Some criticisms: Two pictures in the room are identical, No towel bar in the bathroom, The toilet makes a loud squealing noise when flushed. The shower head is a low volume, low pressure, rotating type. Always had to put the card in the lock twice to get it to work. There was a spot where the concrete and rebar was visible on the ceiling, about 3" across. The wall under the A/C register was streaked and showed some damage from condensation. We left the card on the pillow requesting new sheets on the bed, but did not get them. Went to the breakfast buffet one morning. No meat. There were eggs, potatoes, tortillas, waffles, and pancakes, but no bacon, no sausage, no ham, not even spam. Food tasted OK except the pancakes. Likely would stay some other place next time.

« If I were not temporarily Handicapped with a broken foot this would have been a great vacation. »

The best breakfast I think I have ever had at a Best Western. Having a rooftop floor bar was a pleasant surprise, music was nice, I wished they served snacks. The hotel is directly across from the Marina which allowed for me to scooter around and get out of the hotel. Plenty of things to do with in "rolling distance" The Water Street Restaurants, the Whataburger by the Bay, and Bistro around the corner are all excellent. Free covered parking is provided. The service was excellent. The facilities are nice and clean. My problem was the pool. The hotel teased me with a very nice outdoor pool on the second floor. Problem was it was not accessible by a person with a foot disability. The only way to get to the pool is to go down at least 2 flights of stairs. Extremely dangerous. I was disappointed. I am used to not having a handicapped chair to get into the pool and have built upper body strength to get in and out of the pool. But taking the elevator to the floor the pool is on only to discover i had to crawl up and down stairs on my hands and knees to get to the pool was unacceptable. I will add that the elevators are a tight squeeze with the wheeled equipment that i required for mobility. Also, it rained over my stay and the handicap ramp was slick and tiled near one of the entrances to the lobby. This was problematic for my crutches. If I were a person with normal mobility my review of this hotel would have been far better. Unfortunately, this hotel requires planning ahead for a person with mobility issues. The price value compared to the location and other hotels in the I'm mediate area is excellent.

« Excellent from start to finish! »

We stayed here while in town for baseball and graduation. Booked online and the rates were comparable to all the other area hotels. However, this hotel was not like the others. It is located directly across from the bay and marina. The views are spectacular! Check in was fast and simple. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and everything spotless. The rest of the hotel (lobby, breakfast area, pool area) were all well maintained and clean as well. We were greeted EVERY TIME we entered or exited the lobby (which was often as we were busy) no matter the hour or how busy they were. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of space and no crowding. Many choices including hot items such as different types of scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. Everything was kept spotless and Sandra was smiling and friendly every morning! We could not have had a better hotel in Corpus Christi and will definitely return on our next visit. Highly recommended!!

The view of the bay was nice! Overall, it was good.

    « Good Hotel »

While the hotel it's self was wonderful, our over all stay was less than that. We had not a single issue with the hotel or staff. The breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were also, and the bar on the top floor had spectacular views. Our room was on the side where you can see the parking garage we stayed on the tenth floor again great view. But that Friday night we had gone to bed around 11pm we had planned to awaken early and visit the aquarium and the U.S.S. Lexington. But there is an out door club just behind the hotel that was playing music so loud you could understand every word and this continued until 2 am. Our room looked right down onto this club. It disturbed our sleep Friday and Saturday nights of our stay. We will be staying here at least one more time but requesting a room on the opposite side of the building. If we don't hear the music this stay then this will be our go to hotel in Corpus. It's within walking distance of almost everything and the staff and hotel itself were absolutely wonderful.

« I will never stay here again »

When I arrived, I thought that the lobby looked fine and the staff was very friendly. Then I headed to the elevators and there are only two and they move at snail speed. Luckily I was on the second floor and even though I had a broken toe, I took the stairs because by the time it got to the second floor (going down), it was packed. Then I enter the saddest room ever. It was hot and the a.c. didn't operate properly and there was a loud whining noise (I assume machinery) that never stopped the whole time I was there. The bathroom was abysmal. there was NO counterspace. Just a pedestal sink with a little mirror so you had to put all of your cosmetics etc., in the closet behind the door of the bathroom. There was no other mirror in the room so you had to try and do your hair in the bathroom while putting your dryer in the sink. The only positive that I have is that they served a decent breakfast. There was a buffet with eggs, meat, biscuits and one of those make it yourself waffles. Also there was juice and coffee. You have to eat on paper plates, but at least it was hearty. It was clean but just not comfortable.

We were there for the Buc parade and sand fest and still had great parking and accommodations because this hotel is attentive. This is a keeper.

    « Great Location »

This hotel is in good location for town. Close to restaurant, event, and the beach. I have to switch room during my stay. 1st night, I stay in room 315. I guess this room is right next to elevator. There's some motor noise running all night. I can't sleep at all. I call around 11:45pm to request to move. But I guess due to the event in town, they sold out. I go down the next morning around 11:00am, they switch me to new room on the 7th floor. The 1st room I am in, HK is doing a better job clean the room than the 2nd one I stay in. But both rooms I stay in, HK didn't clean the counter under minor in bathroom. I swipe the counter with my hand before I put down my clothes, both room my hand is dirty.

    « Well Done »

This hotel is in a great location . They have comfortable, queen sized beds instead of doubles. Breakfast was included and there were nice, hot protein options, not just pastries, cereals and waffles. We had a beautiful view of the bay and an annual parade from our balcony. We really enjoyed our stay.

« Great Staff but the Hotel Needs a Face-lift »

The Staff at this hotel is very nice, helpful and accommodating however the hotel itself is old and needs an face-lift or overhaul. The beds are nice but the carpet is old and you can really see the wear and tear of over the years. And for the price I had to pay I feel they have the money to fix.

« long weekend in Corpus »

Great place to stay. Clean good location. Plenty of parking. It is close to a couple of Clubs that had a great band each of the nights we were there. Warning don't let them give you a room on first 3 floors toward the back of the hotel. We had room number 300 and it was a little to noisy for us. The machinery whining is loud.

    « Great Stay »

Everybody was exceptionally nice and helpful. The Hotel is located near the harbor. We loved the lounge, it's on the 11th floor and has a wonderful view of the harbor. Very Romantic. We'll definitely return.

Everything about this hotel was excellent, the beds were comfortable, hotel was clean. The only thing that was less than perfect was the pillows, they were way too small. Thanks for a great stay. The staff was very agreeable and the lounge was relaxing and had a very agreeable view and staff.

    « Wonderful Experience »

We had a wonderful experience during our stay from 4/11/16 - 4/15/16. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of choices and the staff was extremely cordial, especially a staff member named Debbie. We also want to commend the maintenance employee named Emanuel, he was very expedient helping us with a maintenance need in our room. Some updates could be made but, all in all, we found the room to be very pleasant for the price. Wonderful views.

    « Polite and Friendly »

Staff at the hotel was extremely friendly. All things were in working order. I was on a business trip, but when I bring the family to Corpus Christi, I will be staying here. Close to nearby attractions, and great breakfast.

    « Very cool place »

This place blew my away. I have stayed there twice. Each time I was lucky enough to have a room with a balcony overlooking the harbor. The breakfast on the 11th floor is included and the other side is a bar with the view of the harbor. I'm usually all about price, but I. This case value far outweighed price. A must for visiting Corpus..

    « Wonderful experience »

My husband and I stay here on a recent trip to visit his son. Everyone here was extremely nice and helpful. I can't say enough about the friendliness of everyone we encountered. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever seen with very good food. We each received a complimentary drink from the bar. The view from the room of the bay was great. Yes, I would definitely recommend staying here! The area is gorgeous!

We have stayed at this hotel before.. Very nice, great location. Close to some great eating places, shopping. You can walk to several eating places from the hotel. Drive is very nice to get to Padre Island and Mustang Island. The view from our rooms are wonderful. Breakfast is great!

« Nice hotel with a great view. »

I stayed l here for a week for a business trip in February 2016. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and had a great view. I will definitely stay here again. Be sure to visit the lounge on the top floor as the view at night is fantastic!

Excellent stay, Enjoyed the breakfast, did not get to enjoy the pool because of the weather, but pool area looks like lots of fun. The view of the marina is amazing. Beautiful sunrise while having breakfast. The only little thing I can think of that they could change is having pillow options, but that's just me being picky.

I want to thank Miranda from front desk for the complimentary drinks and for our complimentary appetizer, my husband and I had an awesome time celebrating our 21st anniversary, and I also want to thank the other lady from front desk, but I could not remember her name for taking our photos, thank you again and we will be returning, awesome place, clean room, service was amazing.

« Fine stay, excellent staff... »

Per my mistake we arrived a day early for our 2 night stay. Arrived late and in need. Staff was more than understanding and helpful. Fine room, good location, nice value. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff recommendations and suggestions on par concerning food, activities, etc. Highly recommend a stay if one is visiting N. Padre.

The staff at this hotel are so friendly and the our whole experience was a pleasure. The hotel as a whole is very clean and well maintained. The only thing I could possibly say I didn't care for was that the bed was to hard for my liking but my husband love it.

    « Seaside Jewel »

Great location. Comfortable rooms, outstanding service desk, and a super breakfast buffet are a welcomed, and refreshing change from most B.W. hotels. Its the little amenities, like plenty of coffee, a nice supply of creme, and sugar, soap and shampoo dispensers, in the shower stall, and a revolving, massaging shower head, which earned this hotel, my 5 star rating. I was honestly surprised, by the caring attitude, exhibited by all employees. This hotel, in my opinion, is my idea of a home, away from home! Well done Best Western.

« Comfortable rooms and good breakfast »

We have stayed here several times, but the most recent was Thanksgiving weekend of 2015. This is a comfortable hotel. The rooms are large enough and the beds are comfy. They serve a good breakfast every morning in a large room at the top of the hotel overlooking the bay. There are lots of selections for breakfast including make your own waffles. The staff is very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

    « Awesome stay »

We really loved staying at this hotel. The staff of the Restaurant were fantastic as well as the rest of staff. We would give it 5 stars for great rooms, service and location. The price of the room per night was also a bargain for what we received at the hotel.

    « Family »

We found this hotel online and was happy with the reviews but once we got there it was beyond our best expectations. The staff was very friendly, location was amazing and the little perks such as the hospitality suite and the cards for discounts at local eateries was icing on the cake. Will def come back again. Only down side was elevators are extremely slow but when we could we just got our exercise and used the stairs!!

« Best Western Shorline Dr. Corpus Christi »

I have been staying at the Best Western Hotels since 2014. The Best Western in Corpus Christi is a perfect place to stay for leisure, business and vacation. The view of the ocean and pier is excellent. The Lounge has by far the best view of all! The staff at this location are friendly, courteous and very helpful.

    « Location Location! »

Spent one night here on our way to Port A, Texas. Nice stop in downtown Corpus Christi. Had a nice balcony room that was very pleasant. Staff was top notch and helpful. We had checked out and forgot some items in our room they let us back in right away had bagged the items for us and even let us put on our swim suits as we had unexpected beach plans. It was spring break so very busy and the line for breakfast was crazy long so we didn't eat at the hotel. A really good choice if you want to see the sites in Corpus Christi.

    « Good location »

great location which puts you right in the middle of all the action downtown. Be prepared for a great view and balcony but also the noises of downtown music, traffic etc. Ive stayed here several times and always enjoy it. Price was a little high for the quality i would no pay over 120-130 for this hotel.

    « Awesome »

I loved this hotel! Very clean, right across from the beach. Everything was within walking distance. My favorite thing about this Hotel was the Bar. You were able to go upstairs get whatever drink you wanted, take it back to your room if you like all in the comfort of the Hotel. Will be staying here for sure our next visit!

Decent hotel for the price. I stay at this hotel at least 10 nights per year. Clean and very nice Staff. The thermostat for controlling room temp does not work well though on any of the rooms. (It's either too hot or too cold, hard to set for a temperature in the middle) I wished they had a bit softer beds but I have medical issues so I am more accustomed to sleeping on a softer mattress.

    « Great, enjoyable, restful, & fulfilling »

I picked Shoreline Drive due to the views and the water. We had one night and wanted to stay near the marina. I researched reviews and ratings and BW was the highest rated and in the right location. My attention was on service and cleanliness. Room was clean and nice, beds were awesomely comfortable, and my son says it's the best hotel he's ever slept at. We'll be back here again.

We had a very good stay here. The check in process was fast. Everyone was very nice, helpful, and my room was clean. I used my CLC card at this location. If you don't have one of these little cards, you're missing out!! All in all, we had a great stay.

« Great location - nice breakfast - good views »

We tried to check in early and that was out of the question. Their 4 pm check in seems a bit late to me, but we made use of their bathrooms to change clothes so we could go to the beach while we were waiting. Our room was nice and spacious on the 10th floor with a great view. They have plenty of covered free parking but there's not a great place to walk from the car to the hotel if you are pushing a stroller. They have coffee all day downstairs and we were given coupons for free beers during their top floor bar happy hour which we used for free sodas instead. The breakfast area is also on the top floor and has plenty of space and tables. It was well maintained and had more choices than I normally see. Their Texas shaped waffles were fun and they had a neat automatic pancake machine that unfortunately was having a problem (which was worked out later I noticed) so I didn't get to try them. Plenty of fresh fruit (melons), yogurt, several juices, cereals, breads, and small sized pastry/muffins. The hot items included scrambled eggs, sausage, beans, tortillas, etc... I would have appreciated some apples, oranges, bananas, and hot chocolate, too. We called ahead and were told they don't have baby cribs so we brought our own pack-n-play, but I was happy to see they have highchairs in the breakfast area. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in dispensers in the shower. I could never get the bathtub drain to close so that I could give the children a bath so I tried to close it with a towel. They need to add some Kleenex to the bathroom area. We had a fridge and microwave which we hardly used, but could be nice if we had stayed longer. The Whataburger right across the parking lot is fun for food since it's 2 story with outdoor seating.

« Good Value and location »

Friendly front desk staff, they are always helpful. Music in evenings but everything quiets down about 11:00 P.M. Omni and Holiday Inn up the road are very nice but over the years I find that Omni customer service do not bother to pick up the phone at times. This is just in the Corpus Christi, TX location. Front desk staff are helpful and attend to customers.

    4
    « Great Customer Service »

We liked the location, the room was comfortable, clean and met our needs with the usual, microwave, refrigerator, desk. Reviewers often slam the free breakfast. I don't know what they are looking for. This one had fruit, hot and cold cereal, either bacon or sausage, sausage and gravy, scrambled eggs, yogurt, good coffee, whole wheat/white bread, english muffins, assorted pastry, and a new pancake maker (a bit fickle at times, giving staff a challenge but interesting). What made our stay here was truly the staff from the font desk but especially the two women in the breakfast room, Alisha and Michelle. The free wine or beer in the rooftop bar was an added plus. Nice view from here. We stayed three nights and had no complaints.

« Not a good choice for a stay on Shoreline Blvd. »

We were in CC for a conference at the American Bank Convention Center. The official hotels for the conference were the Omni and Holiday Inn, but neither allow pets. Our choice then was the BW, which is listed online as pet friendly -- actually not so much. The BW is 1 mile from the Convention Center, a very nice walk if the weather is likewise. The Omni and HI are a bit closer. We were surcharged $20 per night, which is the most for a pet we've ever paid. We also paid $10 per night more for our room (senior rate) than the conference hotels, both of which are a star or two above the BW. We paid $80 for the pet for our stay, but got nothing for our money. There were no outdoor provisions for pets, e.g., designated pet area, plastic bag dispenser, etc. Furthermore because we had a pet, I was told at check in, we were required to be on 2nd floor, which is just above or adjacent to the mechanical equipment rooms. Also our room was close to an ice machine in the hallway. All that equipment made for a very noisy stay. Otherwise the room was average, neither great nor horrible. The staff at the front desk were cordial. The breakfast room on the 11th floor has a great view, but the food was mediocre. The hotel manager sent me a form letter in response to my satisfaction survey responses.

Nice place. The staff were very courteous and helpful in everything we asked them about or any request we had. The young lady checking us in was very helpful with us as to how to get to any area we asked and told us not to worry about where our vehicle was parked and that we could move it to the covered area.

« Good experience but internet needs improvement »

Uneventful stay. Room was clean, staff cordial and professional. The wireless internet is useless so if you're on business and need to get some work done at the hotel, be prepared for some frustration.

    « Great View »

Our time at the Best Western Corpus Christi was enjoyable. We love the beautiful views. We especially liked the view from the lounge. The sun was setting as we watched some sailboats with a cocktail in one hand. It was so relaxing. . We love the real breakfast and once again the view. The only thing missing hashbrowns would be nice. Yes we will be back.

    « Above expectations »

My wife and I have been to Corpus Christi numerous times in the past and have stayed with friends. We always commented on the Best Western, right on Shoreline Drive and across the street from our favorite restaurant. This trip we decided to stay there and were very pleased. This BW is a very nice hotel under any name and in the top 5 of any BW that we have ever visited. Breakfast was on the top floor with a great view of the bay and above average food. Nothing negative to say.

    3
    « Great views "BUT" »

The hotel's location is good with amazing ocean views, we loved our balcony room but the hotel is old and needs to be renovated. One side of our bed was completely worn out and lumpy. The top floor breakfast area has great views but don't look closely at the deteriorated paint, carpet, window seals, etc etc And why wasn't there any Orange Juice or Bacon for breakfast?

Great promo for free drinks up in the lounge on top floor. Wonderful view from balcony. Unfortunately, it was windy and the balcony window rattled and created a draft. « No rest, dont take room 400 »

We were there for our anniversary, again. They put us in room 400...heard blower going on and off ALL night.....water pipes during a shower, moaned and groaned the whole time....the commode has a slow drain so one night the toilet clogged up had to call maintenance, those guys were prompt, kind and professional. We have been here before to celebrate our anniversary not good this time. Manager was going to comp a nights stay because we are not on the point system, never did get back with us...disappointed.

« Good Hotel, Great Staff »

I stayed at this hotel with my family for vacation around the new year. The location is excellent with views of Corpus Christi Bay, downtown, and the T-Heads nearby. Dining is a short walk or drive away. The hotel is pleasant. The rooms were comfortable and clean. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were always greeted when we entered the lobby, and when we called the front desk because of a noise that was disturbing our sleep, we were offered a room on another floor. Overall, our stay was fun and relaxing. I can't say enough about the warm staff.

    « Great Choice! »

I came here after coming off of a bad experience at another hotel in Town. What a relief it was to be here. I called first to see if we could check in early and Bridgette at the front desk was super friendly and said sure, come on over. The rooms were nice and clean and we were given a corner room with a nice view. The bed was comfortable too! breakfast is complimentary and on the top level of the hotel giving you a great view of the marina and the ocean. At night there is also a lounge on the same level. Great location, walking distance to restaurants and bars. The next time I am in town, this will be my first choice of lodging.

    « It's called "Best" for a reason. »

This was our second visit to this hotel, but our first in off-season. We had a free night so since we had a bad experience at another chain, (LaQuinta) we thought we might not get a nice room...wrong! Front room on sixth floor! Check in was quick and easy and the room was perfect. We stayed three days and had no problems. Good breakfast and plenty of free parking. Can't wait for spring so we can return.

« Great Hotel, location is not bad »

We stayed here for our summer vacation last summer and although we had a view of Whataburger and there isn't much to do directly in downtown Corpus this was a great spot. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast was good and filling, it was quite close to the baseball stadium, the water park near it, the aquarium, and of course, the Lexington! There is a great little city beach just a couple of blocks down and the price was right because you weren't out on Mustang or Padre Island. Would definitely stay here again!!

« In the heart of downtown Corpus, a chic Best Western »

I adored my time this hotel and I can't wait to go back. Last September we stayed at an Inn right on the beach of South Padre Island and this was WAY better, more chic and cleaner! This is an 11 story Best Western, obviously an old property that is very well maintained. The front desk girl even got us rooms on the ninth floor per request and found two required rooms near eachother (right across eachother). The breakfast is clean, very well-presented and I would not recommend going to dine in your sleepwear in this lovely dining room on the eleventh floor overlooking the bay - AWESOME breakfast! My picky eight year old son really got into building his own plate and well because it was so inviting. The view in my opinion is better than the ocean view because you see the bay, the boats, the urban city vibe AND you can walk and explore downtown and the bayfront parks right across the street. I also enjoyed no sand in my room! We really enjoyed that view and wind coming in our balcony. We slept great on what seemed to be a brand new bed and I appriciated the central air rather than the ususal wierd fan unit thing. I was disappointed at one point because at check in, we were given two vouchers for a mixed beverage (at the very mod and cool looking lounge on the 11th floor across from the breakfast area) and a SPEECH about how they expire so we better use them tonight, eeek! So, just as we are exploring that area, a maintinence man appears and posts a note that says lounge closed due to rain. What the #$% does that mean? I don't know about you, but a club soda or caramel vodka sounds great from that gorgeous bay view during the rain...c'mon BW!!So I asked the front desk girls about this and they said "well, that means the employees cant get here in the rain to serve drinks"...she is telling this to me after a three hour drive in the rain from houston. NOT how a traveler wants to be treated....to top in off, the very unexperienced front desk girl does not realize she is also a hostess and did not offer to get us a soda or treat (that are right behind them) in regards to the voucher THEY SCOLDED US TO USE. Really cool Best Western and I will go back, but needs some training in customer service

Such a great place! Champagne wishes, caviar dreams, on a Meat and Potatoes budget. I could not believe the view, bringing my dogs with me, and walking along the bayfront! I have stayed in many places, traveling is my escape, and this was truly the great escape!

    « As Always, Great!!! »

We go to Corpus Christi for vacation usually once a year and really love this hotel! The entire staff is very friendly and on top of their game! Also loved the view from the balcony in our room! The ONLY issue I have is not the fault of the hotel itself. There's often street racing going on at night on Shoreline Drive and that tends to startle us out of a dead sleep. One thing that may help until the CCPD steps up their enforcement effort in that area is for the hotel to offer ear plugs or we could just bring our own.

« Great Choice for the Money »

Before booking we read reviews on Trip Advisor. Noticed some complaints about noise but decided to give it a try anyway. We stayed on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. There was some noise coming from the street and a late night club but we closed the drapes and slept soundly. The view from the balcony in our room was great, the bed comfortable and the room clean. There is a cocktail lounge upstairs on the top floor that is nicely furnished and has wonderful views. Good place to start the evening. The breakfast was typical but sufficient. This is south-south Texas so some mornings its refried beans and flour tortillas instead of biscuits and gravy. Location close to sights, good restaurants and bars. Miranda at the front desk was absolutely great. Very polite, helpful and friendly. A real pro, I wish I could encounter more folks with her skills. She should train other employees in the Best Western chain in how its done.

« Once again, great hotel »

We asked for a room on the east (?) side (even room numbers) & not only did we get the requested side but we were in an end room. Had a great view of the marina(s) & got to watch the Breast Cancer Walk Saturday morning. We were waving at the walkers! The room was great & Laura (room care staff) presented us with a wonderful room each day. Front desk staff was cordial & helpful (as always) & the breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast Room & hotel lounge/bar are located on the 11th floor. During the day, the view is great, but at night, it is breath-taking with the marina lights twinkling-very romantic! I can't tell you how many times we have stayed here but it is the only place we really want to come back to. Don't know the managers name or I would specifically tell him/her by name what a nice place he/she is managing! Thanks again, GW Marina!!

    « Worst experience with Heating/Cooling system »

When we checked in at the hotel it was kind of freezing at the reception. But it was worse in the room. It was 55 degree F when we entered. We tried to adjust the thermostat which worked on water pressure and it made a pressure releasing sound which was annoying. We called maintenance and they said it is blown up internally and they have fixed it and it will take 20 min to recycle and adjust temperature. It did not work with the temperature but somehow got rid of the pressure sound. We opened the side doors and it was really pleasant weather outside. We spend time in the balcony and kept the door open whole night which increased the temp to 65 F. We had a one year old who was not at all comfortable whole night. Advice to people who take priceline Name Your Own Price deal. You might get 40-60% deals but try to understand that what you are getting is in fact what these hotels are not able to sell in general market

We had a great view from our room, the staff was helpful and friendly. Having a covered parking was definitely a plus for our motorcycle and the extra parking with oversized spaces was great for our trailer.

My Gran fell and broke her hip, the staff was wonderful in helping set up the reservation. We really enjoyed our stay and the closeness to the hospital. I would definitely stay again. Very comfortable rooms.

    « OK but noisy »

Good sized rooms showing a fair amount of wear and tear but otherwise functional. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bar on the top floor has a nice view. The included breakfast was mediocre (powdered 'eggs') and limited in terms of options. Main complaint was that music from nearby clubs could be heard well into the night.

« Okay for the price »

The cleanliness was average. The breakfast is below average. The staff is... a little below average. The view and accommodations are good. The location is good. If you add all this up it comes out to and average place to stay. Too bad they don't step it up a bit. This could be a strong 4 star rated hotel.

« noise level at night intolerable! stay somewhere else »

I have been staying at this hotel for six years every time I come to Corpus Christi for business and sometimes for pleasure. It was always such a great place. However, I am just finishing my three night stay for business and have been unable to sleep at night due to the very loud music from a nightclub that now operates directly behind the hotel. There was such a loud music all night last night I couldn't sleep at all. I had a very important business meeting today and it was affected by a horrible hotel stay. Tonight the music has already started and the windows are rattling and it is only 7:30 pm. Last night the music lasted till after 2 am. This is the last time I will stay here. I will find another hotel to use when I travel and for business. What a sad thing to ruin a great place but a person cannot travel for business and have screaming music all night. The long relationship is over. I am a diamond elite member with Best Western so this is very difficult. The people at the desk stated there is nothing they can do.

    « Nice stay »

Had a nice stay in this hotel. Clean, lobby and bar/lounge/breakfast room inviting and comfortable. Only drawback was the drag racing at night on the main street across from the marina. Very noisy and annoying when trying to sleep.

That's about all that can be said about this place, average! The staff, rooms, amenities all average! The area is dirty the view is not great! Just an average all around stay! Nothing stands out to say yes you should stay here and nothing stands out to make me say DO NOT stay here ! Not easy access to the beach! You absolutely need a car if you are staying in this hotel
