Best Western Plus Hotel Koeln City

Very comfortable bed and room, nice and quiet. Outstanding breakfast buffet. Didn't use the restaurant but there's a great Indian place nextdoor. The only negatives are that it's a bit corporate and soulless and a bit far from the centre.

I had an enjoyable stay at Best Western Plus Hotel Köln City. Although the hotel is located a bit outside the city centre, it's still very convenient. There's a metro station about a 10-minute walk away, with direct connections to the Hauptbahnhof, making it easy to reach central Cologne. Check-in was very smooth and modern. I completed it online before arrival, and once at the hotel, I simply scanned the QR code and received my key instantly — very efficient and hassle-free. I was given room 107, which overlooked the car park and the main road. Despite this, the room was surprisingly very quiet. It was spacious, with a comfortable double bed, a good-sized wardrobe, and an electric kettle for tea and coffee. The temperature inside the room was also very comfortable throughout my stay. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, with shower gel, hand soap, and fresh towels provided. Breakfast was included and offered a good variety: cold cuts, bread, hot dishes, and sweet pastries. A nice way to start the day. Overall, it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay, and I would happily stay here again.

There was hair, rust, and mold in the bathroom. Rust was mostly on the equipped chair as it was a room for wheelchair, but this equipment should be cleaned and repaired, as it run downs when you shower. Even with the air conditioning set to 30, it continued to cool down, forcing me to turn it off but then turn it back on because it was too hot, and then it got very cold. The staff doesn't care. It's self-service anyway so not easy to reach someone. Location is not full center but not far from a good transport line, however, might be long wait on evening and week-ends, I would recommend to check what you want to reach to maybe find a better location.

It is so pleasant to see such a spacious room after staying in tiny hotel rooms in Europe. It is very clean and modern. I love the firm mattress and the superb breakfast selection. The gym is also good. It is conveniently located near the university.

We arrived rather early and room was available, so a positive start. Check in was rather chaotic. We were asked if we wanted breakfzst and we said yes. The next morning it seemed it was not registered. It seemed there was a lot of confusion. At check out we had to pay extra for carpark. During check in this was not mentioned. When I told this, it was my fault. To me a lousy service,bo value for money. When I return to Köln it Will be in different hotel.

This morning, (7 July 2023)my father's sling bag was lost in the hotel's restaurant. He left under the table and got his toast and his bag was stolen. The hotel is totally unsafe. They said no Cctv and they didn't help us while we were in big trouble. We are with others on tour planned to Amsterdam. We don't want others delay on planned trip. We just want back our important documents (2 passports). We are in trouble now.

Nothing less than what would you expect from a Park Inn hotel. Tidy, nice breakfast and a semi comfy bed. All-in-all an average stay and would go back. Has a gym and a nice restaurant. The people at the reception are very helpful if you´re new in town.

My overall stay was memorable , stayed few nights but staff are friendly, clean rooms nice food , a bit close to town I highly recommend this property Breakfast is amazing , conference facilities too good am so happy i chose to stay here .. will definitely come back
