Hotels in Aube

Average hotel in terms of my overall experience with BW in Champagne and Burgundy: breakfast is not that good as in the same franchise of BW in Vertus, however, it's one step better than in BW Angleterre in Macon and BW in Chalon s/Saone and the same as in the most terrible of all BW, so far, of Tournus. Parking is also some hundreds of m away that adds to the level of discomfort. The rooms and bathrooms are really the best of all BWs in those two regions which I have tried. The service is the third best, surpassed by BW in Vertus and BW in Chalon s/Saone. The receptionist tried to double charge for breakfast, even though the voucher stated clearly- BB, that stands for bed& breakfast. Nevertheless, he was stubborn and insisted rudely to follow his intentional lack of knowledge until the hotel manager intervened and settled him down, apologised us. That was a bitter berry on the cake which ought to be eliminated. The town itself is beautiful strategically close to Cotes de Bar champagne subregion that supplies with superb value champagne both the French embassies (Gremillet) and wine enthusiasts (Devaux, A.Bonnet, O.Horriot, others) alike.

We were so pleased with this hotel. It ticked a lot of boxes with location and price but we weren't totally sure about the Best Western brand as some of the UK BW hotels haven't impressed us ! This hotel is beautiful, located really nicely for nightlife and exploring the beautiful Troyes. The staff are very professional, the rooms are stunning, the bar is spotless (the nighttime bar manager is worth a mention what a lovely guy he is )! The spa was excellent with lovely staff. I can't fault anything about this hotel !

Very nice room, on the quiet courtyard side. Shower worked fine. Bed comfortable. Staff were great & helpful. Buffet breakfast was delicious including the fantastic cheeses & bread, but also had cereal, fresh fruit, and much more. Hotel was very central to all the sights. I easily walked from and to the railroad station. There's a great bakery across the street with sandwiches & baked goods.

Great Hotel, that's very well Located. This is a very clean , well run, well maintained, ideally located hotel in the centre of Troyes, within walking distance to many places of interest, including many restaurants and bars. The parking is available for a fee and is excellent in a garage and only a short walk from the hotel. The room we had was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the room size was very good, especially for a hotel in this area. The shower was very big and the amenities provided were great. There was a fridge in the room as well as tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast offered was fresh , very varied and very tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Really lovely hotel right in the middle of the most charming town of Troyes, France a must to visit. Excellent parking just a couple of minutes walk. Amazing room and bathroom. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect spot near he centre of Troyes. Secure parking. Staff were very helpful. Excellent breakfast. If desired you can order a meal from a favourite restaurant and ask for delivery. Staff will arrange room service

Great hotel with excellent staff and great communication. Would definitely stay again well done for being a caring hotel with great communication. Staff excellent manager David excellent. Any problems were resolved - hot water good job well done 👍🙂

This is a nice hotel, centrally located and with good facilities. Staff were friendly but not intrusive. For those arriving by car there is a designated area for unloading, with a secure parking garage a short walk away. We stayed room only and would be happy to stay there again.

This hotel is undoubtedly in a wonderful location amidst the maze of narrow streets in the old city centre. It has also been very well renovated and furnished. However I cannot recommend it for anyone with a mobility problem. The hotel failed to provide advance guidance about stopping and unloading a car outside the hotel - impossible without the hotel lowering two bollards to create a 10 minute parking place for one car. Likewise there was no advance information about the car park which might only be a two minute walk away but is a nightmare sat-nav experience to find in a car. Accessing the car park then requires further guidance as does finding the walking route back to the hotel. In addition the so-called accessible bathroom in our room was anything but - it was spacious but there were very few safety rails. Two motor-cyclists who arrived at the same time were equally annoyed with the lack of information about unloading and finding a secure car park so well concealed in the locality. I felt sorry for a very helpful receptionist trying to defend the indefensible.

The hotel is in an ideal location within easy walking distance of the old townwith its many bars and restaurants. It must be good as this was our second visit. We had very comfortable rooms and the staff were friendly Would recommend if visiting the area.
