The price of the room was affordable and the location was right off of the interstate which made it easy to get to. We really enjoyed the breakfast because there were plenty of options to choose from for the kids as well as the adults.

Loved staying here. The room was perfectly cleaned every day, the breakfast was hot and delicious with different things to try every day. Everything in the room worked and the staff was friendly and efficient. COVID protocols were followed and everything was clean. Despite being close to the freeway, the hotel was clean, quiet and safe. I plan to stay here every time I visit.

Hotel room was clean and in pretty good condition. Shower was missing a shower curtain and the phone was missing the hand receiver cord. Front desk person very pleasant and gave us a shower curtain. We asked for a "late checkout" and the staff was very accommodating. Breakfast ran out of the scrambled eggs, but other items were sufficient. I'd stay here again when traveling.

Our attendant, John, was an absolute delight! There was a plant near the check in desk that was dropping rooted little babies and he let me take some home!! I'm so excited for my new plants! Our room was clean, and nice and we stayed up way to late watching X Files! Will definitely be booking this hotel for future stays in the area!

Great place to stay, rooms were clean and comfortable. Motel was just off the interstate, but we did not hear any traffic, very quiet. Very accommodating for our service dog!! The only issue we had was we requested an ADA room, the room was not ADA for a solo traveler, must have a companion to access the bathroom. Thank you.

I was expecting a 3:5 star hotel for the price I received the rooms, but instead I got a 4.5:5 star rating. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to San Antonio. The employees were friendly and the hotel was kept clean. There was not any smell of cigarettes' within the hotel room or lobby.

I was a little apprehensive at first but that quickly changed after I shared my sentiments!!! The Front Desk Clerk was extremely reassuring and affirmed I would be happy with my stay. The room was super clean and I slept peacefully. I would definitely recommend this location and I would certainly return for another stay.

Excellent from the moment I walked into the lobby. John Castillo (Assistant General Manager) Started by treating me like family. The staff from the moment breakfast was served to the end of the day were very accommodating. The breakfast, both, cold and hot were excellent ! The housekeeping staff (Vannessa) and the others kept my room clean and provided anything I needed, during my complete stay ! THANK YOU ALL

Everything was great other than the lack of food for the continental breakfast. The bed was comfy and it was nice having a fridge and microwave in the room. I would definitely stay at another Best Western after the experience here!

Pros: Spacious room, good lighting over the sink, bed extremely comfortable, Brenda at the front desk a treasure trove of insight into things to do, good price for the room (most everything else was way more expensive) Cons: continental breakfast abysmal (eggs very discolored and sausage patty uncooked - maybe it was just a bad morning for them but we never tried it again), we had to go to the front desk to re-key our room card every night when we got back to the room - never have had this happen every night at the same hotel; someone tried to get into our room the first night we were there. We told him it was occupied. Soon got a call from the front desk asking who we were and our last name. Apparently, they never put us in the computer as being in that room. Those couple of customer service glitches really shouldn't happen and that's why I cannot give this a rating of very good.

Friendly staff. Bathroom VERY dirty. 4 day stay was $800.00+. Only $25.00 discount offered. Explanation was offered to me as a problem with staffing. Apparently short staffed with respect to housekeeping staff. Still, unacceptable, especially considering the price of the room.

Worst hotel ever! The toilet was wet with pee around the bowl, the towels had pubic hair just like the shower and in the shower was an old razor. I don't want to think how the bed is going to be… RUN!

Wifi wasn't enabled the day we checked in and was disabled the entire day we checked out. Calls to the front desk went unanswered and personal contact with the lone employee failed to correct that problem. One of the key cards issued didn't work. There were dirty fingerprints on the inside of the front door. The lobby was locked so the continental breakfast we paid for never materialized. Covid protocols? Fine. But they're no excuse for utter lack of any kind of service from arrival to check-out.

Clean rooms, friendly helpful staff, good price. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless. We like to stay in motels with outside entrances to the room rather than trooping through the lobby so this was perfect.

The bathroom has molds and the rooms are filthy. Called my credit card company to cancel the rest of my stay and BW refused to admit that they had molds and would not issue a refund. Stay away from this property!!!!

So we booked a travel vacation to San Antonio and we were supposed to be at the Holiday Inn and it was overbooked so they sent us to Best Western Garden Inn. Let's start off with I hate to write bad reviews but this hotel, motel, or dope house whatever you want to call it deserves every bit of it.... We got to our room and it was somewhat clean, and it smelled like a hint of dog poop. I have 3 kids and this was a king size room with a "pull out" couch. LIE. We called and asked if we can switch room and the front desk said it would be a extra $330 to move to a king size room with a pull out couch. Needless to say we didn't pay the extra $330 so the we made pallets out of the blankets we brought and they slept on the floor. We asked the front desk about extra covers and they rudely told us they were out. The hotel has alot of drug activity and sketchy characters walking around so lock your vehicles and dont leave nothing at the hotel if you leave, take all belongings and lock your vehicle at ALL TIMES. The whole area around the hotel is sketchy including the businesses around the hotel. Dont go to the convenient stores around the hotel either. If you are going to your vehicle or going to go anywhere on the property I would strongly suggest you use the buddy system if you can.Im a Combat Veteran of Iraq 3 tours. Been to the worst places in Iraq..... IVE SLEPT IN BETTER PLACES IN IRAQ. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!

Me and my co worker had some work to do out in San Antonio and we were looking for a last min hotel option, this is NOT THE PLACE TO STAY we checked in and checked out as soon as we saw these issues. 1. Smelled like something died in my room, 2. My co workers door was open before we even checked in , 3. Glass under bed, 4. Blood on sheets, 5. Some type of black stain on my sheets , 6. Hair on toilet seat, 7. Couches are full with stains. 8. Curtains have stains all over. 9. Pillows have yellow stains when you take off the pillow cover.... this is not a 8 star hotel especially with this pandemic I would post the pictures but I couldn't stomach everything I found... They need some major staff change or renovations done

I stayed last night , second night . There was a group of drunks BBQ in side walk below my room. They were loud and drunk. Management of Hotel would do nothing. Party lasted until midnight. Will never stay there again.

just very disappointed in the lack of flexibility during this pandemic. i was unable to travel due to quarantine. the room i booked for 12/11, although fully paid for, went unused and the hotel refused to even offer a credit. i was able to rebook all other hotels on my business travel who understood my circumstances, except this particular best western. i tried to rebook for 12/17- just one week after my initial reservation and still no. i'm doing my best to be safe for myself & others. just truly disappointed that my money will be kept with no compromise whatsoever.

I appreciate the cleanliness of this property. It is conveniently located right off of I-35 and has a well-lit parking lot. The gym, lobby and breakfast areas are not open due to covid, but the pool and pool area are sparkling clean for those unpredictable warm Texas days. Laundry, vending and ice machines are also still available.

The rooms had a smell, the hotel has shut down all their amenities and took the easy way out but still charging the same price. My trash was never taken out on a 3 night stay and don't interrupt the night guys game or phone calls.

This hotel was purchased not built. It has an old mildew smell, roaches, and even if you reserve online, they will charge you more than your confirmation and tell you they can't help you. Dont be fooled by the Best Western name, this is a cheap scummy motel.

Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel - have not stayed in a Best Western before and was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was comfortable, and while it is located near the highway, the room was nice and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful and I like the exterior entrances rather than long hallways with interior doors. The lobby was closed during my visit but other than check-in, it wasn't necessary for my visit. Check-in and check-out were both quick and efficient. I will definitely be back!

Check-in was excellent! Having stayed at this location previously, the personal (Jose) meet me with "Good afternoon Mr Darden" Room was in a very excellent location for my unpacking and getting in and out of the location and to work every morning. Facility is well lighted for early morning or late night movement around the facility!

Found this place after another hotel messed up our reservation. Had some problems with my company credit card at check-in, and they just let me check in anyway and fix it the next day because they could tell I was tired and had a long day. Front desk personnel were incredibly friendly and welcoming and helpful. Room was spotless. A quiet, peaceful, restful stay.

My sister mom and I stayed here and we were pleased with how clean the place was. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. It is located right off the interstate so you will want to request a room towards the back of the hotel if you are a light sleeper. There is a continental breakfast served every morning that is just your standard fare but the kitchen lady keeps the food coming. Hotel staff is polite and helpful. I would stay here again.

Outstanding place to stay. Very helpful staff. The hotel is super clean and comfortable. Price is just right. It's like staying in a 5 star hotel for $80. Well worth the value. I will be back for sure.

I got this hotel for a very good price and the distance to all the places my wife and I went too were about a 15-20 minute which was very convenient. There was plenty of restaurants around for even less distance which was also great! The room was nice and clean and everything was stocked up with anything that we needed. They offered a good amount of tv channels and the internet was good as well. The best part of everything was the hospitality and professionalism of everyone working. We felt welcomed the second we stepped in to check in to the last moment of checking out. It was a great stay and would definitely come back

Stayed 4 days in December, the price was great, and it was close to shopping and eats. Very clean, comfortable room that was nicely appointed. Just know that it is an exterior entrance to all rooms, with no elevator, and they lock the South entrance gate. If you come back late and miss your turn, it takes a while to get back!

The only thing I did not like was the doors were outside. I'm a female and usually do not book inns for this reason. However, the hotel had good reviews and was right next door to my meeting early the next morning. The lady that checked me in was very accommodating and put me in a room right next to the office. So I felt safe.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in November 2019. The hotel is easy to get to off of IH-35. The outside is clean and has plenty of parking available. The inside is clean also. The staff was friendly and quick to help us with a room. This is a 2 story hotel only. There is no elevator available that i could see. The hotel room is large and nicely furnished. Everything was in good working order. We were very comfortable in this room. Price for king bed room on a Wednesday night was $81.71 including all taxes. We did not sample the free breakfast in the morning.

Overall this hotel was pretty decent for the price paid. The staff could have been a bit friendlier, but the room was fine. The breakfast left a little to be desired. There was no meat option, which would be fine if I were a vegetarian. If you're a fitness buff, stay away from this one. The fitness center reeked of gasoline for some reason and the equipment was minimal. Absolutely no free weights.

We recently spent an entire week at the Best Western Garden Inn. This gave us a chance to get a really good idea of how the place works. Kudos to John, Tameika, and Tanya. From the time of our arrival until the day we left we were made to feel very welcome. Imagine, you are only half awake in a different time zone when you stumble into the breakfast room. You are greeted with a warm smile, “I just put out a new pot of coffee.” Now, to be honest, Tameika is a better cook than John but only by a little bit. They gave us good advice about what to do in the area. They promoted San Antonio and genuinely wanted us to enjoy their home town. The bed was very comfortable. We slept better here than we do at home in our own bed. The room was quiet and even though we were at the end closest to the freeway we could not hear the traffic. If we return to San Antonio we absolutely would choose to stay here again

The staff was so amazing I would go back there just to deal with them. The room was very clean very comfortable and it was very quiet. I will definitely go back to this Best Western!!! Also the bathroom was super clean and who can be upset with that??!

We stayed here a couple of nights while visiting San Antonio. This is about 10 miles or so away from downtown. The drive into town wasn't too bad. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Plenty of fast food restaurants just a few miles away for late night grub.

Manager was amazing. He put us in front of the pool for my son's Birthday. The location was perfect for all of our San Antonio fun. Staff members were the sweetest and rooms were perfect. The pool was beautiful.

Our room we booked on travel site was given away even though they charged our card earlier in the day, at check in we were given single bed room for our family and were told that we would have to pay extra for a double even though we had originally reserved a double. Clerk tried to get more money out of us to get the double room we had originally booked. My family of 4 had to share 1 bed. General Manager was even worst! Very rude and inhospitable! Will never use Best Western or recommend it to anyone I know.

This was a good room for a good price. Beds were very good, my husband didn't wake up with a sore back. We enjoyed the pool but the jacuzzi jets didn't work most of the time so it's like sitting in a warm bathtub. There were several hornet/wasp nests near our room and in the stairwell. I counted three nests just from our car to the room, so they need to step up their pest control. We told management so hopefully they get those nests exterminated. We would stay here again.

It was evident that the manager takes pride in his hotel illustrated through the cleanliness and desire to help make our stay enjoyable. The pool and hot tub was wonderful! The breakfast was good, but stayed the same the entire week. It was conveniently located right off the interstate, and had plenty of food options around.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY! I've stayed at this Best Western several times, & always had great, friendly service, nice breakfast & clean comfortable rooms! Nothing negative. Fresh smelling (not cover-up) rooms. Good linens and towels. Staff really nice. Good breakfast . Location wasn't overly convenient for my needs but safe and quiet. Pool and hot tub were enjoyable. Jetscould have been stronger.

Prior to check in attempted to communicate that I was hoping to go from a single king bed room to two double bed room. Communicated this desire to the front desk who “made a note” but couldn't provide any proposed date for some reason. This was to provide more space for my children, and I understood my visit was during Fiesta. After a lot of check outs were accomplished on Sunday nothing was communicated. I approached the desk at 4, where they stated they couldn't do it because housekeeping was off. Then seen both housekeepers still working until 6pm. Additionally; room was dark, the shelf for the fridge didn't match and fell. Bathroom is really small and not in good shape with marks on walls and cracks between the tile and molding. AC was loud even on the lowest setting. Breakfast was sparse and not maintained well on my first morning, little better on second morning. Coffee was weak.

When I booked the room I was concerned that the rate was low and maybe the quality would be also. I was so pleased when I drove into the hotel. It is a nice, modern hotel. My room was clean and and the decor was modern. The bed was great and the linens comfortable and clean. Breakfast was hot and there were multiple selections... I really enjoyed the coffee. I was so pleased with the quality and value, I will be back, happily.

The hotel has been remodeled and was nicely done. I did not realize when booking that all rooms have an out door entrance. The only real issue I had was that they had one handicap spot on the side for entering hotel, but handicap rooms on other side of building. Required extra walking on an already tired body.

The first room we were sent to didn't even have sheets on the bed, although the bed was made up. There was only the dirty, nasty mattress topper on the bed when I pulled back the comforter. There was no hand soap either. I will attach pictures of the dirt and hair that was all over the mattress cover. We were sent to another room (upstairs, when we asked for downstairs) and it also lacked hand soap and the top sheet had stains on it. The pillow cases caused my face to itch and breakout. I will also attach pictures of that. Also, our room was not cleaned each day of our stay. And I mean that the cleaning crew did not enter our room one day and another day they did come in and leave us ONE clean towel but didn't make the bed, empty the trash or anything else. Very strange. I have always preferred Best Westerns but this one was not up to the normal standard.

That is literally the only positive thing I can say. Their were stains on the sheets and the front desk staff was useless. We had played ahead of time when we booked and we were apparently not charged at that time and have now been charged today for it.

I can't believe how bad my family was treated here, read some parts of my email to the amoma, the website from which I made my reservation. We made a reservation in Best Western Golden Inn in San Antonio for last night. We were going to stay there for the night as a part of our plan. Unfortunately at about 2:00 am when we were about to go to sleep we found and killed a fully grown and mature bedbug in one of our beds right next to one of our babies. I immediately went to the office to report the issue. However, the lobby was closed and I could only speak to an employee through a window outside of the lobby to find out that there aren't any night shift managers and that she can't do anything to help us but to either check us out or to send us to another room! After this we decided to leave the premises right away and to cancel our plans for today so that we could go back home, make sure there are no bedbugs in our clothes or carry ons and make sure we are safe. We had to drive back 3 hours to home after a very very long day. The Best Western Golden Inn employee didn't really care about the issue nor she even looked surprised about the issue. All she said was that she would let the management know about the incident and for anything that we asked she said we need to get back to the third party company from which we made our reservation. Unfortunately the bedbugs weren't the only issue we had. As soon as we entered our rooms we noticed that the smoke detector in one of them has gone off and was constantly beeping and it took the management about 15 minutes to send someone to come and check the room to fix the issue, this alone should have been enough heads up for us to know that at least one of our rooms haven't been inspected at all before we arrived. We also noticed that someone had smoked a cigarette in the bathroom and that might have been the reason why the smoke detector had gone off in the first place. Considering the fact that we reserved a non smoking room this was a very unpleasant experience which we didn't know about until the first time someone used the bathroom in that room( room 124). A few minutes after our arrival, we asked for a crib and management office told us they will get back to us, of course they never did. Before we found out about the bedbugs we again asked for a crib and were told they couldn't provide us with one because we had to ask at check in time! Two of us flew from Cincinnati and two other flew from Toronto to be here for my sisters wedding and we all were supposed to have a fun day today in San Antonio after they got married two days ago. Considering the situation we were in, this has been an extremely unpleasant experience for us all and we would definitely expect at least the reservation fee back. I'll also contact the Best Western management about these issues to make sure they understand that they need to properly inspect their rooms before they check some people in so that one wouldn't have bedbugs and the other wouldn't have the smoke detector issue. As it is clear, we were completely unsatisfied with the service and as a result we are asking for a full refund. Thank you so much in advance for your understanding. I have also attached a picture from the room and the original reservation information emailed to me below.

Super clean rooms with modern style. Breakfast was great and the staff was amazing. The parking lot was well lit and never worried about security. The motel is located right off I-35 and a short drive from downtown and the airport. I usually stay at the Hilton garden inn while in San antonio but I found my new favorite for a better price and a free breakfast.

We had a quick check in, used Priceline and received the room we purchased. The room was clean and updated, beds comfortable, pillows nice. Plenty of towels. Ac worked great. Pool was clean although we didn't use. There were tables and chairs by the pool. Breakfast was good with several choices.

Great price for the room. Everything that was listed for the hotel was there. Excellent breakfast. Pool was great. Hot tub was great. Very good location to do visiting through out San Antonio. Very helpful staff.

This place is perfect and very clean. The pool was clean. The water pressure was great. I enjoyed every moment there. The place was quiet also for a very good night sleep experience. I would stay here again for sure.

The main room and common areas were very nice and clean. The staff seemed helpful, especially the breakfast staff. However, as we were getting ready for bed, we noticed a booger smeared down the backside of the bathroom (toilet/shower room) door. The next morning, as I got ready for my shower, I noticed how many hairs were in the shower. It was bad enough that I couldn't get in the shower. Upon check out, I mentioned it to the man working the front desk and he said he'd have it taken care of but never asked me where the dirt was so I suspect it won't be cleaned properly. It was obvious the the shower/toilet room was not cleaned before we arrived.

This hotel was nice. I only stayed one night and the area was quiet, even on the night of a Dallas Cowboys game. The breakfast was good, had a little variety. My room was very clean and the a/c blew sooo cold. Well, the reason behind my review is that I thought I had left my earrings in the room and I realized this a day later. The staff were respectful and ACTUALLY worked hard to try to locate them. Unfortunately, I had put my earrings in the bottom of my makeup bag, so they weren't lost.(so shamed). Their diligence in helping recover my belongings was OUTSTANDING. Most hotels don't have a "lost and found" and could care less. BEST WESTERN GARDEN INN proved to me that they're aiming to satisfy their guests.

Stayed two nights in the Jacuzzi suite while visiting San Antonio. Extremely pleased with this hotel. Very comfy king size bed and the jacuzzi was very relaxing after a couple of long days of sightseeing. The outdoor hot tub was on the cool side but was still enjoyable as well. Will definitely stay there again!

Me and my wife had a great stay, front manager on duty at 8 pm and then again at 8am was great very polite and helpful just very professional. Rooms were great, very clean. While researching places to stay we found that there are several references to sketchy areas around San Antonio to stay away from. Thankfully this hotel was not in any of the areas mentioned but still relatively close to the downtown area. Our room was clean, spacious and has easy first floor access from the parking lot. The staff were friendly and helpful when we had an issue with the wifi. The only real complaint I have is that there is no restaurant on the premises. They do provide a breakfast in the morning however. — We would stay here again.

The Hotel is great. a very great price compare to other hotels for a night. The rooms are quiet, you really can't hear anything from outside the room and the beds are comfortable. Its not far from downtown, about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic and about 20 minutes to get to Six Flags. its not in a bad spot to stay, especially if your coming from Houston or anywhere coming from east on I-10.

We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western Garden Inn, the front desk staff were very professional, especially the front desk manager John who went out of his way to help in any way that he could. I complained about the strong fragrance (air 'freshner' that is sprayed in the room after housekeeping) So he took care of it and our room was clean and fresh for the rest of our 5 day stay. The room was always spotless sparkling clean. Thank you to housekeeping staff. Walls are good because we never heard any of the guests in rooms next to us. The parking lot well-lit and clean and quiet and it was truly a non-smoking hotel. A random hotel guest was smoking outside but the rooms never smelled of stale smoke. This hotel and room really made our visit to San Antonio wonderful. Will look forward to staying at Best Western Garden Inn San Antonio again hopefully soon. Thank you.

We just closed on our home in the local area and at the last minute, we could not stay in our house the first night due to some repairs. I called and talked with John, the Assistant Manager and explained our situation. He was terrific to get us a room at a great rate to help us with this challenge. The hotel has beautiful rooms and the property is all very updated. I highly recommend staying here. Although we are close to Hwy 35, you don't hear the traffic. Great location. I have stayed here a few times from getting a good rate when it had to been slow day for the hotel. Most importantly was the exceptional customer service I received upon checking in and checkout what brought me back a second time and will return in the future if I can get a good rate. Otherwise, I think it is too pricey. I slept well and the beds were comfortable and no issues with the wifi.

It was late at night and we didn't want to go all the way into San Antonio so we stopped here for the night. There were rooms available and priced as advertised on several websites. However, you do get what you pay for. The room was not as clean as most Best Westerns but the bed was heavenly! Breakfast bar was up to Best Western standards. Pool was not very clean even though it was in the 90's but after Labor day so I guess I can assume that cleaning had ceased for the season? Overall, good deal for our brief layover.

I apologize for the pool being slightly not up to par, however do to the record breaking rain we have had in San Antonio, maintaining the pool crystal clear blue is impossible, however now that the rain is gone it is beautiful again and now more rain is inspected. One thing for sure, our jacuzzi hot tub is set at 101 degrees and is always clean and ready for you. We hope to see you again when you visit our wonderful city. I stayed here with my daughter enjoyed the facility's found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We had a room on the second floor overlooking the pool area. Room was nice tidy clean no complaints excellent value. WiFi tad slow but ok. Washing facilities also ok ideal if your traveling light so you can wash clothes as needs be saves carrying loads of clothing you don't really need. Perfect for our trip. Also compliment breakfast nice. Would I return yes definitely. Uk traveller.

The staffs were very nice but for 100 a night a expected a little more. Noticed stain on the bed sheet and the blanket, the second I turned the shower I noticed the water is clogging because there a bunch of hair that's stuck all around the drain it looks like they haven't been clean in months, yuck! By the time I finished my 5 minutes shower the water came up to my ankles, gross! I let the front desk lady knows and she said "oh right! Those needs to be clean out" duh! Never again! I left and went to stay at Fairfield.

Was very pleased with the hotel room, the area and quietness of the hotel. We were visiting for our son's deployment and we were treated very well by the staff. Only complaint was that house keeping just tried to walk in, no knock no for warning nothing she just opened the door. Good thing we had the bar across the door my husband had just gotten out of the shower.

This BEST WESTERN was located relatively close to a major interstate running through San Antonio ... noise was very minimal. Also just minutes from great restaurants, shopping and loved the small frig. and micro in the rooms Great place to stay and loved the price.... I have more visits to S.A. planned and will book at this BW ....

Room was very good. Clean. Breakfast was good but potatoes were not cooked through. There was no lotion in the room and the shower gel and shampoo are dispensers on the wall. I prefer individual bottles. Shower was okay. Location is a bit out of town but close to the highway. There were no restaurants close by. Very friendly staff. Out of all of our three week travels in Texas, this was the friendliest town. Actually in all of our driving trips over the years, San Antonio was the friendliest place we have ever visited.

Met with a very pleasant staff at the front desk . Our rooms were clean and we had all we need to make this a good two night trip. The breakfast was good. The first morning we had meat and not the second morning. I guess I am a meat and potato person. Everything else was very good. No complaints. I would recommend this hotel.

Great caring staff that will go out of their way to help with anything. Will go again when I come back that way. Great location and very easy to get to. Right off of highway35 and next to a car dealership.

The pictures make this hotel look much nicer than it is. Our room was very outdated and small. There was a crack at the door that you could see light through and I worried that a mouse or bug could get in. The only good thing about the room was the bed and it was very comfortable even if the sheets were about ready to be thrown out. It was at the very back of the hotel so we didn't have to hear the traffic which was another good thing.

The only negative was that the hot tub wasn't hot. The neighborhood felt safe and the staff was all super friendly and helpful. You could tell it was an older building but it has been very well maintained, upgraded and kept clean. Breakfast was a bit more limited than other locations but the price of room was also lower. All in all a great location with lots of food and shopping nearby and I would not hesitate to stay again. 30 minutes or less to SeaWorld, six flags and Riverwalk, downtown and Alamo.

This was a clean, quiet and friendly place to stay for our visit to San Antonio. All of the staff that we met were very friendly and attentive. When looking for a good place to eat, we were directed to a close and convenient place where the food was good. The bed was excellent! Breakfast was good but not a large choice to choose from. It was explained to us that a renovation of the eating area was just getting ready to begin to expand the area. We look forward to returning here on our next visit to San Antonio.

We came for PAX, and couldn't afford the downtown ritzy hotels, but I'm glad we stayed here instead! Everyone was helpful, accomodating, and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Jack checked us in and out, and breakfast was made fresh (literally scooped from pan to plate by the sweetest person). I can't believe that we paid so little for such a relaxing stay. We will definitely be back next time we come to SA!

Enjoyed my stay at this BW. Price was great. Nice enough surroundings. Nice place. Clean and comfortable rooms. Sleep really well. Bed and pillows where very nice. TV had a great picture but no tv guide. I would stay at this hotel if I return to SA.

Please don't waste your money on a more expensive room in this area. I have passed by here many times and not even noticed this San Antonio Oasis. Today I changed all that. I arrived tired, hungry and ready for a good nights sleep. I had called in direct, Jack helped me with my reservation. He is one of the most friendly, professional people I have met in the hospitality industry. Jim's Restaurant,just down the street, never closes. Check the reviews, go eat, you will be impressed ! Getting back to the Garden Inn - 1. Excellent value 2. Very Clean 3. Unbelievably friendly, professional staff 4. Large vehicle parking in full view of many of the rooms for all of you trailer toters and 18 wheelers. What more can I say? Oh yea, tell'm Show Me Dave sent u. ENJOY!!!

Stayed two nights with friends and co-workers here while in San Antonio. Very clean, neat, well kept, and nice...just like Best Westerns at home in Florida. Breakfast and hospitality were great as well. I highly recommend here for accommodations while traveling through or staying in San Antonio.

Staff was amazing! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was better than most. We were pleasantly surprised to have real potatoes! Very reasonable prices. Use your GPS and stay away from most of the traffic going the back way to the North Star Mall.

Excellent and friendly all the way around for the price. One moldy coffee filter overlooked, but I would definitely stay again. Easy 11 min. access to airport. Easy run to New Braunfels or San Antonio. Super clean and quiet.

Really friendly staff, very helpful and interested in my stay in San Antonio. Great rooms, very clean and well furnished. Hotel overall was very neat and tidy, close to amenities, internet in the room was fast enough for what I needed at the time (But won't set the world on fire speed-wise. Was able to stream without issue).

This Bestwestern was very nice and comfy have stayed in the surounding area some,this was a very good place to rest up after a long day. Was there for a wedding nearby and was very conveniant to where we were going highly recommend this location.

Picked this hotel based on its location only. Honestly didn't expect much other than a place to sleep. The hotel staff were great. Defiantly one of my better hotel stays. Paid $66 per night and had a better experience than other hotels in the $300 range.

We just needed a place to rest before flying back home the next day. The location was fairly close to the airport. Although there are many others closer, we wanted a Best Western. The price was right, and it was clean and had all the amenities we wanted (primarily a refrigerator in the room). The woman who checked us in was very helpful in choosing a place to eat that was nearby. She also gave us three choices for a room location. We chose one that we could park closest to, and it proved to be ideal - located away from the highway and had no noise problems. No complaints at all!

Fine for one night. Good breakfast, nice, polite staff, clean rooms. Just don't expect the whirlpool to be hot-- cuz' it's not! Going south, it's right off the fwy, going north it's not so you gotta turn around-- bit of a pain.

I was so impressed with the service, cleanliness, and price of this hotel. For it being a “hotel”, the owners have gone out of their way to make sure you get 4-5 star service and treatment. I'll defini stay here again.

If you want to have a relaxing stay while visiting San Antonio THIS IS THE PLACE. The service was great. Staff, John C., Jack and sweet Hostess( I am so sorry I didn't get your name) who served us breakfast, are all so very kind and friendly. As a matter a fact all the staff was kind. Rooms very very clean and beds so so comfortable. We slept very well. You may say really, I say yes really. Close to freeway which made easy access to our destinations whether downtown to Farmer's Market (really cool) or day trips up I-35 to Gruene, San Marcos and Austin. Easy access to Wurzbach pkwy which hits 281(much easier than taking 1604 to 281). Restaurants are close by as well. They also have a very tidy/clean work out room and out door pool, hot tub too. For sure my next visit will be Best Western Garden Inn you all made our trip for my brother's wedding even more enjoyable. Thanks so much to you all

We loved the manager Jack very knowledgeable very friendly and welcoming. Room is very clean, the bed is comfy the couches are so clean loved it your room will have lots of amenities, I could hardly tell the hotel is close by 410 East (a plus) the rooms are quiet and relaxing once you stay here once you would be coming back to this hotel whenever you are in San Antonio.

It is family vacation in San Antonio. The hotel is ~ 1 hour from beautiful River Walk (most beautiful River Walk I ever see, down town is dead during the weekend so don't try to go up to see down town). The price is reasonable and good service.

excellent place to stay and enjoy relaxation and privacy. great associates who are knowledgeable of their job. listen to your wants and needs. clean and fresh rooms every time I have gotten a room. excellent breakfast to enjoy in the morning, has a great pool that is securely enclosed to make sure kids do not go in by themselves. good working ice machine that is reliable and working all the time not like in some other places I have stayed in. enjoy the rooms that I stay in due to that is where I want to stay in the back section of the building. The staff at this hotel are very kind, friendly, and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean, and welcoming. The breakfast was hot and delicious! The fridge kept our drinks very cold and the microwave worked well. Overall, I give this hotel a big 10!!

I stayed at Garden Inn BW for my annual medical exam, for the first time here. Place was clean, quiet, and convenient. I got my Internet work done each day, and made it to downtown to the Doctor's office in about 15 minutes. I highly recommend this Best Western for vacation or business, when in San Antonio.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast and the staff was all very nice. It is close to the hospital and several restaurants. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.

The hotel staff was the most friendly and thoughtful staff I have ever encountered. The staff member who checked me in let the next member coming onto shift know that I had an early check out and they packed me a little to go snack bag for breakfast. I was blown away at the thoughtfulness and generosity of the staff here. The room was beautiful, plenty of parking, comfortable bed! Everything was very clean and in order! And speaking of parking, the lot was extremely well lit! 10/10, I will definitely be staying here again in the future.

The rooms were nice, clean, and the beds comfy. Staff was very nice. The grounds weren't that clean though. There was cigarette butts all over and in the pool, which didn't make swimming that enjoyable. It seemed like there was a way for people to sneak in and party, which Im sure its hard for the hotel to control. That was my only complaint.

The rates were very good especially for the room quality. Staff was very cordial and everything was in good order. I have stayed in more expensive properties that were not this nice over the past several years.

This hotel may look like a typical Best Western, but the service, rooms and breakfast are as good as any that you would receive at a hotel charging much more. I have stayed here twice since it is close to Methodist Hospital where my mother has had heart procedures. The staff is super friendly, the breakfast is huge (not just cereal and boiled eggs) and the rooms are clean, comfortable and updated. It is also very quiet, considering that it is on the frontage road of I-35.

Nice Hotel, Clean rooms comfortable beds, the best pillows I've ever slept on in a hotel. Hot & fresh breakfast with different hot items every morning. Easy access to Interstate, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. This was our 2nd stay at Best Western and we will gladly stay again.

We had a very nice room, appeared as if the bedding, carpet and furnishings were new. The staff upon check-in and throughout our visit were extremely nice. Close enough to the center of action but far enough that we weren't bothered by any noice. We will 100% be staying here again. Well worth the money

I highly recommend the quality of the room, the pool and the staff was excellent. It's located right on the freeway access road and has a 7/11 store nearby for late night snacking. It's easy to get on and off to reach the hotel but you don't hear the freeway noise in the room at all.

The AAA price on their site made this a good choice for my one-night stay. The reviews were mostly good, so I stopped in to make sure it was clean and safe, which it is. The 24 hour staff was very welcoming and helpful, the lobby was well appointed and clean, and my room and bathroom were fresh and immaculate, with every ammenity as listed. The manager called me after checking in to make sure everything was ok, which reassured me as I was traveling alone. The nice-sized outdoor pool and jacuzzi, both with handicap lifts, were spotless and open until 11pm, there is a small work-out room with good equipment, and better than average breakfast with a helpful hostess. The A/C worked great, the bed was very comfortable and the large flat screen TV had a sanitized remote! Access is all outdoors, and the 2nd floor requires climbing stairs. The locks were excellent and drapes closed out every bit of sunlight. The desk chair is very comfortable and I had no issues with the free wifi. There was a bit of overhead noise at night, as is to be expected. I had an excellent stay, and highly recommend this hotel if you want to be on the East side of the city near Randolph AFB (1604/35).

The rooms are nice and quiet. Some of the staff are rude. Location was perfect for the event we were going to. It was far from my relatives places though. The breakfast was okay. Hot breakfast!!! We won't be coming to this particular hotel ever again.

Few options in this area. Have stayed there twice. Very helpful staff, good sized pool, old fashioned family atmosphere. Very casual, but clean. Comfortable. Breakfast is continental, but supplimented with eggs, potatoes,sausage, gravy ect. Really good juice, good coffee. Excellent sunset view from balcony of the upstairs hallway. Easy on off access to I-35.

I always travel with the job I have, and I always request to be set up at a BestWestern, because they usually have a location close to where I'm going to work- meaning that I don't have to wake up super early and travel across town to get to work.

The staff were excellent along with the grounds being well kept, the room was always cleaned and very comfortable. we were lost 3 times and Warren was always helpful, his directions were remarkable and the dining room was amazingly cleaned and breakfast was really great.

great experience they treated me like family. clean rooms. swimming pool great. very quit for sleep. phones work great. high shower head which is great do not like them low. free breakfast was okay. Tvs were 32 inches.

We got a great rate (during the week) at this location so I was pleasantly surprised at the room decor and great customer service. Furnishings were nice and clean, A/C worked well and not much noise from the Interstate. But the best thing about our stay was John, who was on the desk when we arrived Thursday night and when we left Friday morning. He obviously loves his job and loves people in general. He went out of his way to make sure all if our needs were met and to be helpful. Breakfast eas good as well.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It is clean and the staff is wonderful. I will stay at this hotel each time I so to San Antonio. It was clean the breakfast was excellent and the location is great also. There are other places nearby to eat. Rooms are clean.

This hotel was very clean and well kept up. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Check in and out were quick and easy. The rooms were very clean and the beds and pillows were probably the most comfortable I've ever seen in a hotel. The breakfast was good, there was a different variety with the hot choices everyday. We used the internet, pool, hot tub, fitness center, and laundry facilities and all were excellent. It was right off the interstate and about 15 minutes from the Riverwalk and about 30 minutes from Schlitterbahn's. We loved that it was out of the hussle and bussle of downtown, yet close enough for a short drive and it had free parking. It was perfect for our family of 5 and I can't say enough about the cleanliness of the whole facility. I would definitly stay here again, everything was perfect!

The room looked just as it did online and I didn't even realize it had a microwave and fridge which ended working out perfectly! The price was well worth the room and it was close to everything. I would definitely stay here again!

We were very satisfied with BW Garden Inn; whereas, we home based out of this hotel for 6 day stay for a vacation in the San Antonio region. Room was clean, serviced daily or as requested, breakfast was hot and had a nice variety, noise level was negligible, all staff was helpful and friendly. The only two issues I had was that the handicap lift for the pool was non operational and the wifi was sporadic, we could log on to the wifi with certain devices but not others, the 1-800 number provided for internet issues was not helpful at all. Since we were in and out, wifi was not a major issue for me. Overall, I would return to this Best Western if I go back to the San Antonio region.

The hotel looks great and was recently updated with more renovations to come. Nice clean rooms. The internet/wifi works fast. Easy access to the interstate and lots of good eating choice and nearby shopping centers.

With the exception of having some issues at check in I was very satisfied with the room and staff. I booked the room through Expedia which I will not use again because that was my only problem! I would recommend this motel!

I had a most pleasant experience here. The price was within my budget. The staff was EXTRAORDINARY. One in particular really made my stay note worthy, and her name was Brenda. She was warm and welcoming, resourceful and kind. Any management that is smart enough to hire such excellent staff has my vote. Newly decorated and clean, with restful modern decor and comfy beds, I was happy as could be!

We wanted a room on the east side. Found this location to have high rating and reasonable price. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel had been very recently remodeled. Nice place with good management.

We came back on a second trip 2 months later due to the excellent service, room, and breakfast. In fact, we will be going back in early August and will be booking a room there once again. John Castillo was especially helpful.

One of the best BW hotels, and I've stayed at quite a few (Rewards Member). Excellent front office and breakfast staff. Nicely appointed room decor and furnishings, comfortable and quiet. Worth every penny. I would certainly stay here again.

i am very happy at this hotel. The pool is good. The staff was very nice. The early breakfast is very good. The rooms were very clean and newly redone. My family and kids enjoyed all. I would love to stay again.

Checking in was nice, rooms are clean, no foul odor. Clean room overall with working appliances. The only down fall was at checkout Attendant didn't even aclnowledge me turning in card keys, didn't even say morning, she was too busy cleaning something.

The staff at the Best Western Garden Inn is very professional, super courteous, and friendly, they go out of their way to ensure your stay is a very pleasant one. The rooms are excellent, very comfortable, very clean, with Cable TV and Wi-Fi, and your stay includes an excellent, very complete (and delicious) breakfast. This was an extra that saved us a lot of money by not having to go somewhere else to eat breakfast during our stay. Excellent location, on the South side of I-35, with easy access from the Judson Road exit, and only a few minutes from the airport and downtown San Antonio.

I was here for my Cuz Graduation and need to close by to family house. Also There was lots of place to walk to; especially since I did not have a vehicle. I had loved that. Staff was very nice however my night's sleep was not. The blackout curtains in my room were inoperable. This coupled with the walkway light next to the window made my room quite bright through the night. Woke up multiple times thinking it must be morning just to discover it was still the middle of the night.

I wore white sock while in our room. When we checked out of the hotel, my socks were BLACK on the bottom. We stayed two nights. I can only think that this carpet has not been cleaned in years. The toilet flushed so loud I'm sure the entire hotel must hear that every time we flushed.

Good spot to stay at... between everything you need to be at everything takes but a few minutes to get to.... had an ok time spent there one of the staff members was really helpful the other we felt with seemed stuck up...

Newly renovated hotel excellent beds with new furniture and painted walls. Fast internet and excellent breakfast. Creative egg and potato casserole. Delicious coffee. Warm friendly front desk. Stay here often and very pleased with upgrade.

Great value, comfortable bed, quiet location, didn't really partake in the breakfast, disappointed hot tub was down for repairs and fitness room was also out of order...biggest issue was the sewer smell coming from the faucet and a milky film substance across the headboard which we didn't notice until we were leaving and the door was open...the sunlight caught it just right...eeewwww

I really enjoyed my stay at Best Western Garden Inn in San Antonio, TX. I was very impressed by the quality and cleanliness of the hotel, for such a reasonable price. I will definitely stay at Best Western again in the future!

Really nice mattresses and pillows. The manager was really friendly. Had a good free breakfast and wi fi. Close to anything you need. Including theme parks. Convenient mini refrigerator and microwave.

We stayed here one night. The hotel looks newly remodeled. The rooms are clean and quiet. You won't find a better price on a comparable motel in San Antonio. They do have a small breakfast available and lots of parking.

It is an older hotel but it was very clean and we got a small breakfast in the morning. Very very nice for the lower price we paid. Just as nice as many we have paid $100 or more for. We were very happy with our stay there. It was only for one night.

Stopped on the way while driving from Dallas. The hotel is clean, employees are nice and the pool was clean. The room could use some upgrades but for the price I'm not complaining. Breakfast could be better but it was nice to have regardless. Area is definitely not for tourists - right off the highway near car dealerships, you get the picture. No serious complaints at all. Would stay here again if driving through. WAY better than some other options nearby.

Stained sheets, lumpy pillows, mold in the shower, dirty carpet, the door to the microwave in the room I stayed in was disgusting. Greasy finger and hand prints. I left a note attached to the door and still wasn't cleaned. It's a shame because I'm sure it was a nice place to stay at one time. Why does management or ownership not take care of these things???

The hotel was nice. We were able to check in early. We had landed and arrived earlier than planned. Front desk Staff was very nice. We stayed her for 1 week on our honeymoon. The room was on back side on bottom. It was clean, the towels once or twice had stains. The shower curtain looked as though it hadn't been changed. But basically a clean room. Only issue we really had was after a couple days of staying there. We came in late. Our room had been cleaned but when we opened the door our room smelled of Marijuana, my husband and I brushed it off, but it occurred 2 more times through week. But for fear of someone messing with our belongings we did not report this. My husband and I are drug tested at our jobs so something like this is not something we would do.

Though the facility was clean and quiet, the facility is obviously in need of an overhaul. Outdated furnishings and building looks its age. Do not be mislead by the photo on the website. Place was empty and they still made us go upstairs to our room. Also took way too long to check in and I was the only one in line. They said they had to see if room was clean. It was after 7 PM. Scary to think rooms are not clean by then......

I stayed for one night, I reserved for one person and I was charged for two. That was the least of my problems. They made me sign, as usual, an incidental charges form. But then and there they charged immediately $50.00 to my card and after I checked out and they made sure no incidental charges were made, they did not refund my money. Days have passed and my card still shows that charge. I phone the front desk and told me that they have a sign somewhere on a desk that says that they will hold your deposit for a week after you check out. I never saw such sign or I would not have even checked in. Why they need to hold my deposit for a full whole week? They said I should call my bank, but why my bank? They are the ones not refunding it and actually they did not wait one second after I checked in before passing it as a done deal. Otherwise the hotel is truly average. Nothing to celebrate. Clean and correct. Breakfast to the low end of average. It is not a memorable place unless for the extra charges they were so anxious to make as soon as I stepped in. Would I stay there again? Not a chance! Value for money I can get better deals around. Service is rather poor and this holding my deposit is not making me happy. The only reason I stayed there it was because I was attending a family gathering and I don´t like imposing on relatives, and this one was close. I would rather have driven a couple of miles and stay elsewhere.

The hotel is as expected which is sometime surprising with todays travel. The desk clerk upon check in was friendly and very helpful locating restaurants. The room was quite in spite of the location near the freeway. More than adequate bath linen, nice room furnishings and good quality bed. Breakfast was light but as expected. The clerk on departure was equally helpful with information and very friendly.

I always check the bed sheets and mattress cover. The sheets were soiled. The front desk person was very professional, kind and very apologetic on behalf of the staff and the company. I appreciated her assistance in getting clean sheets,and a clean mattress cover but I didn't appreciate having to deal with that and then having to make 2 queen size beds because of nasty sheets. It's unfortunate that there seems to be a problem with that. There were 3 reports of soiled sheets that Sunday morning during checkout. Will not be staying there and will advise family and friends not to stay there.

Need a lot of improvement. Seemed like the hotel staff does not care about the customer so much, the breakfast was very poor...need better odor free rooms. Need more seats in the breakfast area, and don't forget to label your breakfast items; beans is not sausage.

The cost was higher than the quality. The hotel is only two stories which I'm guessing is why it has no elevator. It was mostly clean. It did have a very comfortable bed. The woman who checked me in was a bit rude and seemed "put out" that I was there, the woman who checked me out however was polite and apologetic when I advised her there was a dead roach in our room and the door handle of the closet broke off when attempting to open.

My wife and I stayed at Best Western Garden Inn on a recent Friday and Saturday night. This was a last minute trip, so I called the property directly to make reservations. Not only was I quoted a good rate, because we were arriving the same evening, the actual room assignment was made to meet our desire to face away from the pool and traffic. We arrived after dark to a well lit property. The hotel was almost certainly sold out, as the parking lot was almost full, and two folks checked in before me. I was quickly checked in and we were soon in our room facing the back of the property. On additional benefit for these rooms is that there are no parking spots along the back of the property, so there are no doors slamming or car engines cranking up, and the number of folks walking by the room is minimal. The room was very clean and looked like it had been updated within the last year or two. While the property is not new, our room and the common areas were well maintained and clean. (The cleaning product used left a slight odor, but it was not overpowering as we have experienced in some other hotels.) The only flaw in the stay was the breakfast. We were looking forward to the promised sausage, scrambled eggs, and biscuits and gravy. Unfortunately they were cold and fit only for the trash. The coffee was okay. We stopped at a fast food restaurant for breakfast sandwiches. We stayed two nights and did not risk anything except coffee and juice the second morning. The hot breakfast items were similar, but looked a bit better than the previous day. Still, we had only coffee and juice. The check out process was efficient and courteous, even when I gave an honest answer to the question, "Was everything okay?"

It is a clean hotel that is located on I-35 with stores and restaurants and gas stations within a few blocks! Parking lot has good lighting and area for larger vehicles with trailers! Rooms was VERY quite!

Hotel was older but well maintained. Room had cold air, beds were clean and comfortable. Stayed 3 nights and slept like a baby. Hotel is on a busy highway but never heard a thing. The exterior area is lit up very bright.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We just had a horrible experience in a Days Inn in Arlington the day before so it was nice to have a hotel who had working toilets, a pool that wasn't packed with kids from the apartment complex next door and served a hot breakfast and not frozen egg omelets and frozen bacon.

After a long day, it was very nice to relax in this room. I had a couch and a very comfortable bed. I would definitely stay here again. It was in a great location, close to several good restaurants, and although I had a room right next to the pool, the loud children in the pool were not very audible in my room.

This Best Western Garden Inn was good for the location I was visiting. Considering the location I would stay there again. It is not difficult to get to the Downtown area from there. It was well maintained except for one minor issue that's not mentionable. Parking is sometimes an issue.

From calling and asking prices to check out we had a great experience. Everything was clean and staff was awesome. We will def. be going back! The free wifi was a nice perk. The only thing I recommend is getting up early to breakfast. Not that the Hotel didn't provide enough... but some people made pigs of themselves... Other than that, loved it!

I've never stayed at a Best Western before and it wasn't bad. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I only stayed one night and my room had a whirlpool bath. I loved that! The pool was the perfect temperature and clean. Staff was friendly. The only thing I didn't like is that I was in a room on the ground floor across from the pool and people constantly walked passed my room and looked in the window if I left the blinds open. It was a little awkward.

Upon check in on Saturday evening, July 2nd, I had a horrible experience with the front desk staff. She was extremely rude and unfriendly. She threatened to check my room at odd hours of the night to ensure we didn't "smuggle more people in". I am of Hispanic descent and found it very prejudice and racist as she said it with sarcasm. She was extremely rude from there on out and threatened to charge me for any broken or stolen items. Customer service aside, the room had a strong, bad odor to it and the ac would not cool throughout the night.. Worst experience I've ever had in my life. I am a frequent traveler and will ensure to let me colleagues and relatives know to never stay with Best Western.

The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I started a conversation with someone whom I thought was the front desk clerk before breakfast, ended up she was the Manager! When I forgot something in the room, she called and I was able to get there in 15minutes from the Alamo even with traffic! I would highly recommend the hotel if you are in San Antonio for any length of time.

I would not recommend this hotel...I was charged fees to my account that front desk could not answer what they were for....I rented three rooms and only two were available...did not sleep well because I got a phone call at 1 a.m. because front desk was still trying to figure out what was the mix up in my room....

This hotel was very clean, quiet (even with a major highway right in front of it), bed was very comfortable. Staff was very nice and helpful and the breakfast had many choices and was very fresh. It is located close enough to different restaurants and the river-walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in San Antonio.

I had to take the time to give this place a positive review. We lost our home and are moving to Florida. We are waiting for my husband's trasfer papers so we can start this move. The reason I mention this is because this is a very stressful time for our family. Having to relocate to another state after being in SA for over 34yrs, and doing it out of a motel stinks. I have to say every single person, from the front desk to the house keepers are exceptionally nice and hard working. The rooms are so clean. I am so freaked out by germs and I slept beautifully in this bed and the bathroom is clean, clean, clean. The pool is fresh and clear and the breakfast is great. If you are looking for a place to stay, for whatever reason, you have to choose Best Western Garden Inn on I-35. You can't go wrong.

Jacuzzi was not working, Lacked Cleanliness ( spotty mirrors, forgot bottom sheet on both beds in my room), Breakfast subpar-hot items didn't look or smell appetizing. After day 2, I choose to move to another hotel.

I have spent a lot of time here allready and this is the first place where is super clean. Staff is more than nice and willing to help. Breakfast looks a bit poor but as I am not eating in the morning, I dont care about it. So, overall, if you're in San Antonio, you won't be wrong to stay here

Lawn service broke my window, light, and chipped the paint and grill in a new F150 ford truck, the desk clerk came out and took photos of the debris and rocks on my hood and seen the damage, The owner called me a liar and said it never happened and refused to take care of the damage. Then I caught him creeping around my room with beer cans, not sure what he was up to, but when I caught him, he jumped into his van and drove off! This is the last place in San Antonio anybody should stay!

Nice clean hotel, Nothing fancy just up to date, building is well maintain with fresh paint and very clean. Furniture is good, again nothing fancy but had small couch and work desk. Nice flat screen TV and internet was as good as any hotel in usa.

I'm an easy person to please but this hotel was absolutely horrible. I arrived at the hotel fairly late and had to speak to the front desk person through a bullet proof glass window (the kind you see at a bank) which brought concerns to me about the neighborhood this hotel was in. Upon entering the room, there was a faint smell of smoke despite it being a non-smoking room. Given we were only there a night, we decided to unpack and stay. Upon closer inspection of the bathroom/sink area - found that the bathroom entirely was not cleaned thoroughly. Everything was a bit sticky from the laundry bag, the 'fresh' roll of toilet paper, the walls, etc. Bit digusting IMO. I booked this given the good reviews and the BW name but was grossed out by my experience. Take my word for it and do not book Tripadvisor folks!

We stayed at the BW Garden Inn hotel for Spring Break and it was an EXCELLENT choice. I would recommend it to ALL who are looking for a Great place to stay with FRIENDLY staff!! The hotel was about 10 minutes away from the Riverwalk and about 20 minutes away from San Marcus Outlets. It was near fast food restaurants and a convenience store.

Most importantly - The king-sized bed was really nice and comfy, the 4 pillows looked like too few but worked out perfectly. The room was pretty large - actually enough room to walk comfortably between the bed and dresser. There was a loveseat sofa but they could have fit another chair in there too. The lighting was good. The toilet flushed well. It was just a standard-size tub so no luxury soaking here. The bathroom came with hair already in the tub and on the floor - Eww! A big plus - a microwave and a mini-fridge were in the room. Perfect for leaving our leftovers behind in! It's right on I-35 so it's not a quiet hotel depending on traffic. The pool is right in the parking lot since there's no courtyard. This was a non-smoking room that had NEVER been smoked in, such a nice thing!

no comment when I check out....they bill my credit card so I know nothing about this until I get home.....not very polite.i called them when I got home.......no comment back up to this point. if there was an issue they could have talked with me at checkout instead of the way it was handled.

This hotel was very clean and the staff were all friendly. The jacuzzi was not working but the staff were kind and apologetic. The rooms were in excellent condition. The continental breakfast was better than expected. I would stay here again.

We stayed here so we could be close to the airport for our morning flight. The only criticism is that the breakfast was less than other Best Westerns we have stayed at. The gravy for the biscuits and gravy was not even runny, it was watery. Otherwise, a good sleep before our flight.

Pretty good exceeded my expectations at a price which was very competitive. Staff very helpful although being very busy. Room clean and modern. Breakfast OK. Typical Motel Continental. Very good value for money. Would recommend it.

This hotel was convenient for us to stop at. We stopped for the convenience and I was quite surprised by how quiet it really was for the area it is in. We had a good, comfortable night sleep. Overall, it was a good value!

The hotel is a very affordable place to stay with a very traditional continental breakfast and fairly comfortable rooms. The heating/cooling leaves a little to be desired in that it does not really regulate itself much to the temperature you set it for. Other than that, the property is well kept, the fitness room contains very good equipment.

The hotel was quiet, clean & cozy, staff was friendly and helpful. I travel often and usually stay in more expensive hotels, but this room was at least $30 cheaper with the same quality of service and amenities as other hotels I've been to.

Room was okay but we got one with Jacuzzi for my wife's disability, the room was large and in good shape, however the bathroom had caulk missing and mold in a couple of the crevices and the same around the Jacuzzi.

Great location and clean, comfortable lodging for a very reasonable price. You really can't beat it - I stay here often and it is consistently very good quality for the price. The breakfast is above the norm for this price hotel as well. They also include microwave and refrigerator which is great for those staying more than a couple of days or families. I highly recommend this hotel when you are in San Antonio.

15 min access to downtown, twenty to twenty-five minutes to the rest of the city. Friendly staff, very helpful with an questions you have about the local area. Breakfast was OK, need to offer more fresh fruit. Bed and pillows in rooms are very nice.

Poor Quality of Whirlpool Suite, for the price, we could have stayed at a Onmi or Raddison Hotel , we were attending a sports facility , plus making up a postponed 35 anniversary date. This hotel was close to the event so we though we could make the best of two events. in hine site, we should have driven back to Austin and stay there.

Great experience. Would recommend to anyone who is in south Texas and needs a place to stay. Great location and close to access on the highway. The staff was willing to help and it was a great experience to be able to have the accommodate us.

I stay at this hotel often for work. It is very clean, with a very clean pool and friendly staff. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting San Antonio or wanting a nice comfortable place to stay for the night.

we stayed there for 5 nights while in San anotnio. we were greeted with a smile and found the staff very accomodating of our request of quiet rooms next to each other (2 rooms in the booking). the room is definitely big enough although the bathroom is on the small side. pressure in the shower isn't the best but by American standards it seems normal. breakfast was also typical American breakfast which wasn't to our taste but that is more due to a cultural difference. I got to use the gym with very good equipment in really good condition. the pool looked clean although too cold for us! overall a lovely stay. this hotel is good value for money .

Very nice & helpful people in the frontdesk, Paige is a doll, she is a sweet heart, I love her personality,she is super helpful. We have stayed from Embassy Suite, Hyatt, Omni, La Contessa in San Antonio and many other for my husbands conventions and I really enjoyed our stay here. Slept like a baby.

Great place, as soon as I checked in I was greated with a smile. Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable and it included a continental breakfast. In and out burger is close by and a Sam's is around the corner. I recommend this place. Great place, great stay.

I was skeptical given the great price for this hotel. However, I was more than pleased with everything from the cleanliness of the exterior, lobby and room as well as the staff helpfulness and the updated facility. Breakfast was nicely presented and many choices. Easy off/on access and great central location. I will definitely use this hotel again.

I had already planned on staying in a more upscale place in downtown San Antonio. We were going to visit our son and his family and, this hotel being closest to their home, my wife persuaded me to get a room here. I was pleasantly surprised and will stay here again on our next visit. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were nice and clean and breakfast was good.

We enjoyed our quiet stay and the continental breakfast when we stayed at the Best Western Garden Inn at San Antonio during September. The staff was informed and very helpful. Try the Thai Thai restaurant further south for a treat. Best of luck!!

Nice hotel off I- 35 drive a little save a lot. The hotel is off frontage road but we didn't hear any traffic at all as we were towards the rooms at rear of hotel can't comment on the rooms towards hi-way.lobby area was nice and friendly hotel employee at front desk made our checking in a breeze. The property looked well kept and the pool was nice.laundry was avaiable but it was out in open area by vending machine on second floor level,well that's what I saw. There was well lighted parking thru out the hotel we felt safe and the hotel was quiet through out the night all 3 nights of our stay were enjoyable.breakfast was decent

Thank you for taking the time to share a few words about your experience. All of our rooms are soundproof from the noise from the highway. However, if requested, the hotel will place guest away from the highway. The whole staff strives to provide great service and a nice up kept hotel. I am very happy to hear you had a enjoyable stay and we hope to see you on your next stay.

This is an older motel type facility with park in front of your door rooms. The lobby is very nicely decorated and spacious. Our room was very nice. It had new carpet and the walls appeared freshly painted in a nice off creamy yellow with a mustard yellow contrast wall. There was a small love seat and coffee table as well as a desk in the sitting area part of the room. There was a good size TV with plenty of channels and a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom area had granite counters and everything was bright and nice and clean. The AC worked super well and it was almost 100° when we were here. The internet worked well and there were sufficient wall outlets for electronics. The room had crown moulding. Breakfast was average. No skim milk and that sausage gravy, while welcome, was very thick and unpleasant.

Easy Access off and on I-35, close to family in the area and a great stop over to break of the drive when heading to Corpus. You can always count on a clean room, a quick breakfast in a safe area. The Pool area always looks so inviting and clean.
