The air conditioner Thermostat needs replacing. I had to hold the fan button for about 30 seconds to get the fan to turn off. The Air Conditioner was loud and made a tattling sound. The two nights I stay, the guest above me walked the floor all night long. I called the front desk to report the noise and it got worst.
The staff was amazing the breakfast amazing continental. 1st. The smell of Marijuana not a fan. 2nd we didn't notice until the day before check out our walls on each side of our bed had black mole I have pictures. I did let them know when we checked out room #206. Other than that we can hear everyone in the hallway some people just don't have any consideration for other people trying to sleep at night. We kept hearing the ice machine at night so we had to keep the bathroom vent on to drown the ice machine noise. The king size bed was very very comfortable I don't think I've ever slept on a more comfortable bed in a long time at a hotel. The sheets to my surprise were extremely clean room was very clean I loved that I have a black light so I can see if the sheets are clean and yes clean as a whistle everything was wiped down even the remote which is the dirtiest thing in any hotel. I don't regret booking this hotel.is it for people with little ones? I don't think so, it's more for adults. But they do get 5 star from us due to the room being so clean.
Conveniently located off I 95.Don't be put off by the entrance. This Glo has only been operating for about 4 months and needs a dressed up entrance. It still has that "new" smell when you walk in.( Not a bad smell.) It is vibrantly decorated, very modern, which I found refreshing. Room has the usual amenities and is very comfortable. Beds are comfy and loaded up with 6 pillows. Bathroom is roomy and has a rain showerhead. Breakfast is pretty standard with a decent amount of choices. Friendly staff. There are several restaurants in the area.
The building was nice, could've turned A/C up a lil in the hallways the building smelled a lil humid , my wife & I enjoyed the rooms layout and amenities+ staff was friendly and the breakfast was very pleasant pleasing....... 👍🏾👍🏾🥯🍳🥞
This hotel was great! Very clean Well Maintained Fresh bright decor Beds were super comfy Amazing pillows Soft linens The front desk staff member, Curtis, was AMAZING!! If I could give him TEN STARS I would!! Booking.com had a system malfunction and our reservation had been cancelled when we arrived at the hotel at 12:30 am They suggested I pay the hotel directly, when I had already paid them, and wait for a refund from Booking.com Curtis jumped in and worked with them to get my reservation reinstated Went above and beyond to stand up for me "My customer" he said! And Booking.com finally fixed their accounting problem and Curtis got us in our room He was FABULOUS!! I would stay at this hotel just to get to work with a staff member like this young man! Note to self, book directly with the hotel!
A dog sitting in a chair at table where you eat breakfast about 75 lb dog. Policy says no pets. Nothing in policy about service dog, no vest and front desk clerk and others thought it was cute while others were eating and getting there breakfast. Nasty and rude to have a dog at the table and sitting in the chair. Disrespectful and Nasty also rude of owners to have dog in eating area and no one said anything. Desk clerk thought it was cute and even took a picture of him. Never will stay there again.
We needed a Savannah hotel due to an early morning flight, and a stayed here based on reviews. The reviews were right! Beautiful new property, with a very helpful front desk staff! Dinner recommendation was great. Our early flight left before normal breakfast hours, but they offered to leave yogurt and fruit for us to take away! Lyft to the airport was VERY convenient! Would def stay here again.
Housekeeper walked in my room at 9 AM. I asked why would she do that, and she screamed at me saying she knocked, but I didn't respond. When I went downstairs to notify front desk, I was told that they are allowed to walk in the rooms 2 hours prior to checkout. I was traveling by myself and that was a terrifying experience to wake up to. Also, the fact that no one cared and made it seem as though I'm over-reacting was crazy. I would never stay here again or at any Best Western that would allow people to just walk into your room 2 hours prior to checkout.
Absolutely everything about our stay at this hotel was 5 star. I highly recommend this hotel. What a beautiful experience from Pricing to Check-in to Check-out, the front desk employees, the ambiance, the hotel room cleanliness, the hospitality and decor and the housekeeping staff, the breakfast layout, the commissary choices, and they even have juices available at no cost 24/7. The whole experience was just beyond what I expected and the area that the hotel is in is around tons of restaurants and grocery stores and all kinds of stores that amenities and Uber were available all throughout the day and night and this was close to the Savannah Hilton Head airport. We will definitely stay here again.
Hotel was clean. However the receptionist working evenings has a nasty not welcoming attitude. She seemed very unhappy doing her job. She should be fired as she will make this establishment lose customers. Also the room i stayed in smelled like mold and was very humid.
We stopped here unexpectedly on the way home from summer vacation, and decided to spend the night due to bad weather ahead of us. I made the reservation online about 1 hour before we arrived, and everything went very smoothly. Check-in was great and the staff was friendly. The hotel looks new and modern and has a style that differs from your typical Best Western property. Our room had high ceilings with stylish wallpaper from top to bottom. The room was not big by any means, but definitely adequate for our family of 4 for one night. The room had a mini-fridge and microwave, as well as a desk area, so it seemed perfect for business trips. There is a sliding door between the bedroom and bathroom. This door does not lock, so this can be an issue when multiple people are staying in the same room. Also, when you open the door to the bathroom, it slides over the closet area, so you can only access one of those areas at a time. Some of the finishes in the room are already showing a bit of wear, such as wallpaper seams and slight tears in the blackout shades. The complimentary breakfast was amazing! Lots of choices, which included scrambled eggs, several cold and hot cereal options, oranges, yogurt, waffles, bacon, sausage, toast, pastries, and more! The coffee tasted great, too, and several varieties of creamers were available. The fitness center was nice, although one of the two televisions wouldn't work, and there was no cleaning solution available to wipe off the equipment. The equipment consisted of stationary bikes and treadmills as well as dumbbells and an adjustable bench. The hotel sits in a quite location in a residential area, but is also close to the hustle and bustle of the Tanger Outlets and other shopping such as Walmart. Overall, I'd stay here again, especially if we are visiting without the kids. The rooms are great for 1 or 2 people.
If you want to be tucked away from the bustling even in this small city of Pooler, this is a great location. Quite.
Nice, modern hotel with self-serve buffet breakfast. Beware that if you do not place the "Cean My Room" sign on your door prior to leaving for the day your will return to a messy room and no clean towels. A sign on one of sneeze shields at the front desk "informs" you at check-in of this policy. My wife and I did not notice the sign and did not put it out. We returned at 8:00 pm to an un-made room and were told the room could not be cleaned and there was no one available to get us clean towels. At my departure I informed the desk clerk the after traveling for 50 years I had never seen anything like this room cleaning policy and she answered, "I don't care."
This is a bright, modern hotel, close to the airport but in a quiet residential neighborhood near many restaurants and shopping centers. Rooms are fresh and comfortable, although they might want to consider installing a grip in the (otherwise fabulous) large shower to avoid slipping... Breakfast was plentiful, although I did need to reheat some of the hot items in the microwave. The dining area is sunny and cheerful, with plenty of seating. There were mostly adults during my two stays (on a Sunday night and Friday night), but I think it's still a family-friendly location. There's a fitness room, which looked nice, no pool, but plenty of parking (front and back). The young lady who checked us in on Sunday was able to get our rooms quickly (next door to each other) despite some administrative/system snafu; she also gave us bottled water and called our rooms to check that they were OK, which I appreciated The Friday staff were also able to get us rooms on the same floor after a slight delay getting rooms turned over, so we appreciated that as well. Overall, a good choice for a restful stop on your way to/from the airport.
I was so surprised by how great this hotel was. Friendly staff, great rooms--clean and had a fresh look to them. Location was awesome! I didn't wake up on time to check out but the staff was super great about it and didn't act rude or upset at all. So impressed and definitely booking a GLO next time I need a room!
Experience was great. Room was very clean. I like how colorful the hotel is. Beautiful decor. Staff was friendly. Hotel is in a nice location but I think something can be done to make the outside more attractive or can't be missed. But the inside is beautiful
First off the room. Pretty nice except the sliding door for bath room. It will not stay closed and you can't close it, lock it or anything. So having multiple people staying in a room you see the issue! You close it and it just slides back open. So you have to rig up a table to prop it so it stays shut while you take a shower etc. The breakfast is terrible. The sausage , cold, the eggs, dry, the hash browns, not fully cooked. Probably one of the worst, hotel breakfasts I've had. The customer service? No where to be found. The elevator sounds like it's gonna break and fall at any moment. It screeches, rocks, bumps, jerks, grinds. Vet sketchy elevator. Also there is not an ice machine on each floor so you have to go find it on another floor if you get out on one without one. This hotel, visually seems great but in reality it's did. Find another if you need a great stay.
This hotel is in a more residential, quiet area. The rooms are new and very clean! The Serta Gel Top mattresses were outstanding - we're going to get one! We had a room with two queen beds and a shower (with rain head) no tub, which was great! The staff was wonderful! The breakfast was also very good. We we will definitely stay here again and would recommend to other travelers!
Ms. Tracey was helpful and accommodating to my needs/requests and I appreciate that about her. She needs a raise. Thank you Ms. Tracey! Our second day in the hotel house keeping kept trying to enter our room, didn't make sense as to way. I felt really uncomfortable leaving my belongings in my room afterwards and didn't feel like I was able to safely leave my prescribed medications in the room
Hotel is clearly trying to elevate airport hotel experiences. Fun design features, bright and welcoming, friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Better than most airport hotels. The only problem was the awful reconstituted breakfast. I've noted that a lot of people have complained and you think they would have addressed that by now. If they served a better breakfast, it really would be perfect.
We were bumped by our overbooked best western and they booked us here as it was a short drive up the road. Very pleasantly surprised by this new super clean hotel with a contemporary art style decor. Everything you need in the room is well thought out, location is quiet and staff were really friendly and accommodating
I traveled alone. I felt safe in this hotel and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Will stay again.
Our visit was very nice.. The hotel was extremely clean as well as the breakfast area but don't try to sausage patties it was like eating paper they were awful , However the area has many restaurants and places to eat. Location is excellent. Room was very clean. However, the bed was a little firm for my likening was like sleeping on a cardboard box, the room don't have carpeting which allows noise from the upper room when they walk so I would request the top floor if possible . But overall, I would recommend this hotel, and I would stay again.
Housekeeping made the room clean every day. The breakfast was hot and convenient. The room was very comfortable. I will definitely stay again. I liked the location of the hotel because it was close to everything.
This is a brand new hotel that had been opened about a week when I stayed there. The Room: Clean, New, Quiet The hotel is not by any major roads and is pretty quiet. Room was about what you would expect for being 1 week old. Clean and Everything new. Check In When I checked in I was told by the male who checked me in that breakfast was at 7AM. When I took some things down to my car at 6:45AM the next morning the breakfast was open, people were eating and I found out I had been given the wrong times. You would think they could at least tell you the correct breakfast times. Breakfast Issues: They had eggs, bacon and sausage all of which was tasteless. Probably one of the worst breakfasts as far as taste I ever had at a Best Western, and I have had a lot since I am a Best Western Reward club highest level member. I stay in a lot of Best Western branded hotels. Also, some of the cartons of milk were outdated. I expected a lot better for a new hotel. Hot Water: No Hot water in the morning to take a shower. I ran the water about 10 minutes and finally got a little one minute blast of hot water. That was it. How could they open and not have hot water? It is obvious this hotel was not ready to open when they did.
