Best Western Independence Kansas City

My locked vehicle was broken into and the contents were stolen overnight in this hotels parking lot. NOT SAFE. Do not stay here.

We've stayed at a lot of BW properties over the past year across the country. This BW at best is below average. While clean and recently renovated, staff is uninterested or overwhelmed. Our room was basic. Some outlets didn't work and the bathroom fan was shoes-in-the-dryer loud. After two calls to the front desk a maintenance person arrived. He made a couple adjustments that quieted the fan then announced “that's the best I can do. The fan is old and we can't get parts.” Minutes after he left the fan returned to its previous state, but just a little quieter. Breakfast service was weak. The coffee ran out, the only yogurt choice was plain Greek (PLAIN not vanilla) and the entree for four days was a variation on sausage patties and eggs. Some will think this is a petty review and to lighten up. As stated above, we've been to a lot of BWs. Some have been outstanding and some terrible. This one is just above terrible—I'd call it lazy. If the stupid fan can't be fixed then replace it! They're cheap. We stay at BWs because the value is good and the experience is positive. Not here, so much. They can do much better.

Absolutely the most accommodating the hotel nice understanding clean the front desk every person that works here could not be more professional and kind and courteous I am a very picky person and I definitely definitely recommend this hotel

Be cautious in trusting this hotel with your credit card info. We had an issue with unauthorized charge. I would never book this hotel again. I see numerous bad reviews for this location. I wish I had looked at the reviews before booking. We would have made a different choice.

The room looked very clean at first glance but after being there for an hour or so we slowly discovered little things. There was mold in the shower around the chalk and long hair on the bathroom floor. There was also mold along the bottom of the bed where the bed and carpet meet. There were also small spots on the bedding. At 7:30 the next morning I was changing my 1 year old and he was crying and the man staying next to us started pounding on the wall screaming at us to shut up. Very very disrespectful and disappointed in that. You could hear everything through the walls/floors even if I tried to keep the baby quiet. We were able to have our dog there so that was a plus. I would suggest doing a thorough inspection when you first arrive to make sure there's no mold and the room was actually cleaned.

Had stayed here a couple years ago when new so thought we'd try it again. Big mistake. Schedule a weekend of fun activities with family, including grandkids. Didn't get type of room requested upon arrival, we're told couldn't change because they were sold out on the second night of our stay? Five-year old wet bed first night, specifically told front desk and asked housekeeping to service room but when we returned from our days activities housekeeping had not come. Front desk was of little help, but did provide clean sheets. Asked for a new mattress cover we were told, after a manager was called, that they didnt have those (think about that if you stay). Best part of stay was breakfast bar, Ryan did an excellent job of checking and restocking a nice breakfast offering. Place needs more Ryans.

Broken towel rack, usb charging outlet didn't work, horrible food safety, food not kept at proper temperatures, milk improperly labeled,pool deck excessively slippery

We met my parents in Independence (2 rooms, 1 night) to attend a Yankees/Royals game. The rooms were clean. The beds were very comfortable... my husband usually has a hard time sleeping at hotels, and he even commented on the comfort of them. The pool is a little small, but was clean. The location to the stadium and many stores/restaurants is great! Overall, this was a great hotel for the value.

The hotel itself is above average in cleanliness and quality. But they definitely will not go out of their way to make it a memorable experience. The food was cold a majority of the time the things that were not had been sitting quite a while and more. Coffee was continually out. The plug-ins by the bed did not work. The pool was a great option for my grandkids when they came to visit me, but both times they were out of towels and we had to track some down. Rarely anyone sitting at the front desk you have to wait for them to come up and help you. Overall it was a good stay and serve its purpose, but definitely does not go above and beyond.

The room was filthy. Hairs in the bathroom, previous spills not cleaned up. Old soap bottles, wrappers and dust bunnies under the bathroom vanity. Dried food along the bed platform. Grass in the bed. Sticky TV remote. A disappointment for a BW.

The double room was spacious. I liked the really huge, well lighted bathroom. Our 2nd floor room was quiet and comfortable. The small breakfast room was busy when we were there and they ran out of waffle mix. I love waffles... next time. Desk guy was nice and answered all our questions patiently.

The man at the front was very unwelcoming and didn't let us know that breakfast was over at 9am so we missed our “free” breakfast. The room had candy wrappers on the bedside table and the toilet was low flow so it wouldn't flush properly. The tv remote didn't work but the guy at the desk brought up two. One to change the channel and one to turn it off. This place was our go to for a local getaway im sad to see how far down it's gone.

The Best Western Independence is clean & comfortable. Tucked into a side street off I-70 & near a shopping mall & several good restaurants, it was close to the function I was attending for the weekend. Having a hot breakfast with multiple options was particularly nice i the morning. I would recommend it to any of my friends or fellow travellers.

This is a very nice facility and we have stayed here four times, as we travel to Colorado each year. Extremely convenient to the Interstate 70. Rooms were small but adequate. Room clean and had all amenities. Very nice bathroom. Breakfast was good and well stocked.

I love this hotel's proximity to the malls, gas station, etc. For the last 5 months I've stayed at different hotels in Independence, Missouri, but they were in a sketchy part of town and not as comfortable, then again, I got what I paid for. This Best Western in Independence is a far cry from the rest. I stayed for 6 nights and it was comfortable. The front desk and housekeeping staff were nice, obliging and professional. I'll be staying there again in my next trip.

Best Western has the WORST “incidental fee” policy in the country. This is the second time I've stayed here and the first time took 6 days to get the “hold” money put back into the account. That's too long and they make no apologies for it. This time, they had a sign posted stating it will take 5-7 days. NEVER AGAIN will I stay at Best Western unless this changes or the fee becomes reasonable. The “incidental” fee was as much as the room. And with 2 rooms - that was crazy.

Nice, airy hotel. Very clean, easy to access, great staff, good breakfast buffet. We were a few minutes late checking out -- no problem! We were very satisfied. Well lit parking area with plenty of H/C spaces and a covered entrance.

Dirty room pee crusted toilet toilet overflowing....poop and old food all over the room and smelled like mold and cigarettes...also sheets was stained up and bed was not clean told the staff and they offered no help would not recommend this spot to anyone they need to deep clean everything...it was updated and that was nice but very dirty and smells very bad

Found shrimp that previous guest left, and socks under the bed. Pool not open. Given run around trying to extend our stay. Breakfast was horrible compared to other hotels I've stayed at. Employee was watching while we got our breakfast, which made us real uncomfortable.

One of the best hotel stays we've had. We started using Beat Western on the regular when we travel and this one didn't disappoint. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing to sleep in. The hotel itself was nice and in a nice are. Also very convenient as it is close to eateries and lots of shopping stores.

Had an awesome experience at this Hotel, especially the bed, we felt like we were floating in the air with the softness of the mattress, definitely made it easier to go to sleep at night! I would highly recommend this Hotel to everyone!

I made the reservation 4 months in advance. We were traveling as a family with one dog. When we arrived there wasn't a room available for a pet. I had to ask for help in finding another place. He wrote down name address & number but didn't offer to call for us or anything else to help with our problem. He said he would pass along a message to the manager the next day to see if he could reverse the charge. Next day manager not in & no message waiting for him. Still trying to reverse charge.

Place was quiet, continental breakfast was decent, room decent with comfortable bed, exercise room was nice and big. Didn't use pool but looked decent. Also, washer and dryer were nice for small typical fee. Walking distance to several places to eat, shop, or even catch a movie at the theater. Overall, would stay again.

I hate the fact that breakfast on the weekends starts at 7am. We book 10 to 15 rooms for our softball girls and since the ownership and several management changes this has been the worse experience in the last 3 yrs. I will be taking our softball business elsewhere.

We get to the hotel, the staff were working on stocking listening to music very loudly and then were not friendly when I said I needed to check in. The check in process was rushed and he became inpatient with me. Then the power strip between the beds did not work and I asked for something to be addressed, even an extension cord. I was told "sorry we don't have those". this was for medical equipment, not some iPhone charger.

Best Western in Kansas City Missouri was so good with great staff because even with lots of guests they would take care of room issues. My room was great except a plumbing issue that thankfully got resolved. It's a great motel close to Kansas City Sports teams and less than an hour from Kansas Speedway that I attended. I liked the pool and staff but didn't like same breakfast food items everyday.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, breakfast was good, room was very clean and fresh. Great price for the family get away. The mall across the street was deceiving… looks abandoned, but inside there were so many great options for the family.. location is great to the baseball stadium and TMobile arena.

We choose a room with accessibility support as my wife has a broken ankle. The wall support attachment for the shower seat was separating from wall. The shower hot water limiter kept the water lukewarm at best. We could not get the water hot enough to be comfortable in the shower and not hot enough to even think about a bath. The tub had long black hairs leftover from previous customers and the entry tile had chocolate stuck to the floor.

The hotel was a little off the main highway but worth the extra effort to stay at. Pros: good breakfast, clean rooms, bed made, all the good stuff. The staff was great every day. Very clean hotel pretty much every where even the stairwell. Cons: the blinds did not keep the lights from the parking lot out and even for winter the grounds looked depressing.

We were pretty disappointed in this property. It appears to be going through a renovation which is great. The room had a new look in some ways. The lobby was nicely done too. The problems we encountered were in the cleaning. As soon as we walked into our room we noticed the mini fridge was sitting in the middle of the room. There was hair in the tub and some general mess on the floor in several places. I asked for an email receipt which never came till I called back asking for it to be resent.

Great staff clean rooms good night sleep on a very comfortable bed. Great hot breakfast to wake up to. Only thing I didn't like was there was no hot tub in the pool area. Which that's ok but I do like to set in the hot tub while the kids are swimming. Overall a great night stay.

Previous hotel wouldn't accept my card as we got to town a little after midnight, but the staff at best western was excellent and got us a room and checked in on very short notice. I would highly recommend staying here.

2 adults, one baby, and one dog. Hotel staff was very helpful with our accommodations. Room was clean. Bed was wonderful! Breakfast was good. They have a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. Other usual items like cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, and fruit were also provided.

This hotel requests so much personal information to book a reservation. They need a copy of your credit card, no other best western has ever requested a copy of my CC but this one , I decided to cancel my reservation because I was never told they wanted to keep a copy of cc and ID as well and they charged it anyway. Been trying to reach their manager and have not been able to speak with them. I have a business advantage account with them and they still provide terrible service

Was close to where family was so a top choice for our holiday stay. The common areas were ok, the elevator was filthy. Our too. Was not very clean, stuff on the carpet which we pay attention to because we have a toddler that spends a lot of time on the floor. The bathroom was gross, there was vertical lines of sticky stuff (thought it might be some kind of silicone) all slo g the backsplash that got all over makeup bags & shaving kit. At 10:50 am I asked for a late check out and was told we could only have 15 minutes. Not acceptable.

Very nice and clean hotel. Almost no noice from highway. Good breakfast wich includes all the typical foods. Coffee bar was allways filled (except once after midnight, which is ok) and offered regular and decaf coffee as well as tea.

It's conveniently located from the interstate I am a Best Western's rewards member and the staff recognized it immediately. It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. The parking is easy and plentiful. the rooms were clean and nice and had a continental breakfast in the morning it has the usual good stuff of a best western where you make your own waffles and have sausage scrambled egg and fruit things like that I have to say I was very pleased that the attention the staff made to making sure breakfast food was hot plentiful and available the room's all heads the space I needed and in a Mini refrigerator and coffee I currently everything was working just fine and very clean cause I said I was impressed with the staff and their willingness to try to help me in any way that it could the hotel was great and made for relaxing overnight stay

Everything was good , however our room seemed humid . May have been caused by pool on same floor . Bed was comfy and breakfast was very good . They have a waffle machine Location was perfect for us . Lots of counter space in the bathroom . The entrance is in the side , so don't drive to the front like we did ! Staff was very nice

Checked in for a Sports Weekend at the KC Royals. Room was clean, but it's like most "independantly owned" hotels - the owners don't really care about the condition of the hotel. The hotel is 4 floors - yet they have a SINGLE ICE MACHINE on the bottom floor, and it DOESN'T WORK!!! We stayed 3 nights, tried 9 times to get ice, and not a single cube. It's a bummer when you'd like to have drinks with friends. Really ruins the stay. I'd suggest you pick ANY other hotel in the area if you want to enjoy drinks.

We stayed because we wanted to be near the Truman Library. The property is up to date and clean. The room was well lit. The extra bonus is that Starbucks is right up the street. Our habit is a quick bowl of cereal in the hotel and than Starbucks. I would definitely stay here again. Kudos to the entire staff.

During my 3 day stay here my exhaust was cut off my vehicle and stolen! I will never stay here again! The hotel is also under remodel so there was no carpet on the main floor! Decent hotel but with the damage to my vehicle it turns this review to 100% negative! The staff dismissed me and didn't care that my truck was damaged. It was parked right in front of the lobby entrance as well!

Cecelia and Brianna were the highlights of our stay. Be sure to say to Cecelia at breakfast and Brianna at the desk. Unfortunately there were issues with towel replacement and the ice machine. I will advise to pay the $100 incidental deposit in cash as it takes some time he get out refunded on a card.

Beware of credit card charges. We reserved on line at Best Westerns website. The front desk, Krishna, advised that would provide me with the best rate. So I paid for the room through the website and he requested a credit card for incidentals. I under stand this is procedure. This was not my first time staying in a hotel. There was a $100 charge on the card in addition to the room rate. I waited 2 weeks and then contacted the hotel front desk. Krishna was not available, but the manager on duty told me I was mistaken that it had been refunded upon check out. He also denied there was an employee named Krishna and told me it was standard to charge the card. My experience has been that they take the card info in case there are incidental charges. I have not ever had a “deposit “ actually show up on my statement. I had to go to my credit union and file a disputed charge claim and the money was returned. This was an unnecessary expenditure of my time. Other than that the hotel was clean and comfortable. There were no other issues. It's just too bad that we ended our mini-vacation on a sour note.

Moving across country with family and am bringing the family cat along with. Researched hotels to book and this one was advertised as “Pet Friendly”. I arrive at the end of a long day of driving to check in only to find out that the hotel is not pet friendly, only dog friendly. I was told that I should have called and confirmed it accepted cats. This should have been clarified online, I should not be expected to call and confirm things already listed online. Change your policy or advertise more clearly.

We were in KC for a concert. Room was modern, clean, and comfortable. Hotel staff were excellent would recommend this hotel. Stay at the hotel when in KC. You won't regret it. Stay here, again stay here.

We didn't stay at this location but we're charged for the stay. Somehow a reservation was made on bestwestern.com with my card. I didn't receive a trip confirmation for this and didn't know that I had the reservation otherwise I would have cancelled it. I only found it charged my card and when I called to demand they refund the card they refused.

The hotel appears to have gone through a recent remodel/update making the hotel a lovely stay. The hotel staff was great, hotel clean, very bright and light, the bathrooms were nicely redone and the beds were very comfy.

Check-in was swift. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There's an indoor pool that would be great for families. Somewhat walkable location. There's a Ross and Kohl's nearby and a Chili's. But many things within a few minute drive.

Don't let the outside fool you. While this is obviously more of a “budget” hotel, we were pleased. Comfy bed, good breakfast, pleasant staff, very clean. The only cons were the bathroom door (very heavy, hard to move with door “button”), lack of counter space in bathroom, and noise from nextdoor room.

This was the second time we stayed here, first time in October for Chiefs game and this time for Royals game. Close to stadiums without getting involved with downtown traffic. The hotel is super clean, staff is super friendly, and beds are super comfortable! Close to shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff was all great. The lady in charge of breakfast was amazing. She found out my son loved chocolate chip muffins and made sure she tried to save one for him each day we were there. The food was great too. We were there for a baseball tournament and the last night we were going to be there, our boys had a tough day at the fields. We got to the hotel about 10 minutes before the pool was scheduled to be closed. I asked if the pool time could be extended for another hour. At first I was told no, but a few minutes later, the gentleman behind the front desk, went into the pool room and said he would allow until 10:30. That made our boys night!

Room was clean, and breakfast was open on time and Hot, the waffles were Great! The pool area was clean and tidy. The staff was very helpful accommodating even in the early morning hours Loved the experience and the price! I am sure to return next time we are in Independence MO

This is a very clean hotel no complaints there. The only thing is our 91 year old parents were told they would have 1st floor when we arrived it was 2nd floor. Pool area was very slick no one seemed to attend the water in the halls other than a wet floor sign need more rugs to help that out

We booked as a group but our rooms were separated on 1st and 3rd floor. Our room was handicap accessible even though it wasn't requested. The shower was awkward, the floors hadn't been swept or cleaned. The staff was not helpful at all to try to fix the issues.

We came to town for a long weekend of antiquing and couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Best Western. Our room, as well as the entire hotel, was spotless. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly. We didn't use the pool, but it looked very clean. We couldn't hear guests in other rooms even though the hotel seemed full. Water pressure was stellar and became hot immediately. Bed was comfy. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and downtown KC is just a short drive. Would most definitely stay again!

This hotel is not the friendliest they charged my card and extra 100 dollars security deposit which made me feel like a criminal I was with my family and we do not look like criminals let me tell you I should've just went to another hotel but we were tired after a long day of driving it took four days to get my money back after multiple calls to the hotel won't be staying here again EVER

Good place. Newer decor. The staff was friendly and they have breakfast in the morning. Good location next to everything you need for your trip. Safe neighborhood. No complaints I will stay here again.

This place is clean, roomy, nice beds, microwave, fridge, decor, linens, even makeup remover wipes! The pool was super clean and perfect for my 5yo grandson! The breakfast buffet was delicious and Cecilia keeps it well stocked and will be a great help of you need anything. She is super duper sweet! This place is top notch!

Thr rooms were very quiet and comfortable. Close to places to eat and shop. Did not usr the pool but it looked inviting. Breakfast was good and the staff went above and beyond. They were out of scrambled eggs and the other choice my wife could not eat for dietary reasons and Cecillia made more scrambled eggs for her. Had an enjoyable 2 days.

This motel is clean, reasonably priced, and easily accessible. Don't count on a good shower; it is very weak. Also, if you arrive after dark, you might have to pound on the door to get someone's attention and be let in. The Internet service is quick, and the TV is easy to use.

Stayed end of October 2021. Very clean, contructed well quiet, very quiet. Friendly staff, smelled good, and a good breakfast with lots of selections and ample seating. I'm told it was remodeled recently..... I would definatly recommend!

That our stay was very good and peaceful and relaxing. Pool was nice for hubby and grandkids. Breakfast was usual stuff. Coffee was decent and lots of restaurants close by and shopping and Starbucks right on corner

The staff is very slow and it was a struggle to get them to get us the spare bedding for the fold out beds. The rooms were not very clean and there were cockroaches on the floor when I woke up. The only positive was the quality of the food for breakfast, but I was nervous to eat after bedroom cockroaches!

The hotel was great. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean, bright and everything was convenient. Reception staff was great. Breakfast was by far the best we've had on this trip. It was close to downtown Independence, where we saw all things Truman and ate at a great restaurant--Ophelia's. Unfortunately, we were her night of St.Louis/KC baseball game and we paid a premium I'm sure, so it wasn't as great a value as it should have been.

Me and 2 of my best friends stayed at this hotel the night of the Garth Brooks concert in August 2021. None of us had ever stayed at this hotel previously and reserved the room merely due to the reviews it had previously received. I have to say I was definitely not disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Best Western that was modern and well kept. Merely due to Best Western brand being a legacy name and being around for many years I automatically assumed all the hotels would be aging and older. This hotel was clean and well kept. Also wanted to mention in my review that it is in a nice safe area, which I had not read in any prior reviews. The hotel also offered a full hot breakfast as well which I was pleasantly surprised with due to Covid restrictions. I would definitely recommend and will stay here again next visit to KC.

Excellent service and wonderful cooks . location was across the street from the local hospital i needed to visit and close to recreational spots such as theater and shopping center as well as a good variety of restaurants

When you visit the KC area, plan to stay at this Best Western. It is easy to access, close to numerous shops and restaurants, clean, and comfortable. The staff is courteous and friendly; the breakfast has a wonderful variety of fresh choices; and the facility has both a pool and fitness center if you want to get your exercise. The rooms are comfortable, as are the beds.

We enjoyed our stay! Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever experienced at a hotel. The only complaint we had was the walls seem to be really thin. You can hear conversations, TVs, and doors in the rooms on either side.

This hotel has been recently remodeled. They have done a wonderful job with style, decor and extremely clean. Resembles a Holiday Inn Express, or True by Hilton. I will definitely stay again if I'm in this area.

This is a beautifully renovated property. Their breakfast was the best of our whole trip. We had seven rooms for 24 of us on a extended family vacation. We would recommend this property to others traveling through this area.

The breakfast was the best of all of the four different hotels where we stayed. They also took care of our concerns. We would highly recommend this property to any staying in this area.

Very comfortable beds, clean, bright , attractive and convenient location. the Breakfast was hot, fresh and had a good variety. The pool was also very clean and large and the fitness center had new equipment.

Tim did a great job checking us in and then helping with breakfast the next morning so I could have my daily coffee. It was a nice stay overall and I appreciate the rooms being pet friendly. Only advice would be to have a company that plows and salts your parking area when it snows. It was a sheet of ice the day the snow storm came in. The Residence at Marriott parking lot looked great, but your, a sheet of ice.

Could not have asked for better accomodations. Husband having surgery. Distance to Centerpoint is a plus. Staff very friendly and accomodating. Recently remodeled and just beautiful. Reasonably priced.

I highly recommend this hotel. I stayed in the King Suite which I was pleasantly surprised how beautiful the room was. My bed was soft and comfortable and I slept well. The whole hotel was kept clean the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was a grab and go which was fresh fruit, yogurt, granola bars, and some breakfast microwave sandwiches. I had a lovely experience staying here. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

The overall stay was a very pleasant experience. The staff was pleasant, the hotel clean, everything was up-to-date (I believe the hotel had been updated within the past few years). They even upgraded us at no additional charge. Highly recommend.

The hotel was amazing, clean, comfortable and well managed. All of the staff really cared and had a genuine intention to take care of the guests. The hotel beds were extremely comfortable. Had a great night sleep and rested morning.

Great service from checkin to checkout. Exceeded all of my expectations for a quick overnight stay to attend Chiefs game. Hotel is close to food, shopping and the stadium. Would highly recommend. Staff went out of their way to make stay fun.

Removed family of 4 while being guaranteed from being exposed to covid19. Family was not tested but some members became I'll. The hotel kicked them out. I would rate this a 0. After staying for 2 weeks they became I'll another week into it they were removed and didn't complete there full 14 day quaranteen, after paying nearly $2000 and no refund.

I average over 100 nights a year on the road and this stands out as one of the best stays I have experienced. I got personal warm and welcoming service from the get go... it was far from what I expected but I am extremely thankful.

My family and i was force to leave because they said our dog looks like she was over 30lbs which is not true wish was not explain on arrive after paying the pet deposit. then they only give use $25 back from the pet deposit after only being there for 8hrs.

Booked this property thinking that it was a Wyndham, so it must be at least decent. Wrong. I should have been skeptical as soon as we pulled up and there was one other car in the lot (which probably was an employee's). The lobby was dark except for the small desk lamp at what was supposed to be the "Front Desk." Not exactly a welcoming check in area. The elevator was rickety and I'm glad we only had to go up one floor. The beds must have been like 30 years old---squeaky, bouncy, lumpy inner spring mattresses that sunk down right to the boxspring once you sat or laid on it. The windows didn't have drapes, but "blinds" made of black paper taped to the windows, held up from the bottom by plastic clips. They supposedly were under renovation, but to put someone in a room with paper covering the windows is ridiculous. There were no usable outlets in the room except for a single plug in the base of the bedside lamp. The other outlet that had the desk lamp and single serve coffee maker plugged into it was literally falling out of the wall. Black scuff/ dirt marks covered the walls along with drip stains of who knows what (I don't want to know) on the bedskirts. The ceiling in the bathroom was water damaged and ready to just fall in. The floor was just plain filthy. The property was like a ghost town, which is strange for it being over the holidays. We did see several nicer cars pull in, stay for an hour, and then leave, so either they saw the room and said "NOPE" or they were there for a "lonely man's hotel visit." We ended up leaving after one night of a multi-night stay. The staff at the hotel was about as apathetic as they come so they gave zero craps. Either way, do not even consider this property. There's a Residence Inn right next door if you need to stay in that area (which otherwise isn't a bad area of town). Hopefully Wyndham will get its act together with this property or pull its flag. Oh, the one and only bright spot was that the toilet flushed, but that's the only good thing I can say about the property.

We have stayed here several times and always enjoy our stay. Friendly staff, comfy beds, great breakfast and of course the kids always hit the pool. The place is always clean and smells good. Very updated!! Great rates too.

Visiting my father in law at CenterPoint Hosp. short of the long we decided to spend the night. saw 2 old drunks boozing it up in the parking lot. what a dump. Ok they had construction going on. The room smelled, clean to the eye, but who knows. the ceiling vent fell out of the ceiling on top of my wife head while sitting on the toilet, dirt insulation, and other derbies, rat or mouse turds came down with it. Looked like wire mess was put up in the hole to keep something from getting in? Spoke to the front desk. they moved us TO A BRAND NEW RENOVATED ROOM. Why not put us there in the first place. the assistant manager showed up around midnight. "Oh so sorry" My ass. He offer to pay for 1 night, I told him both nights, he said ok, then charged me for 1 night. Don't stay here.
