Hotel Jakob is a lovely hotel with modern renovated rooms in old buildings near the center of the city. Easy walks to sites and the river. Quiet, sparklingly clean, comfortable bed, spacious rooms, excellent bathroom and delicious breakfast with lots of hot and cold choices. And very good value for the price; on another occasion we stayed in another hotel in Regensburg that was not at all as nice and cost just the same.

Nice hotel on the edge of the old city center. Hotel room has good beds and a nice bathroom. Standard continental breakfast option, if items on buffet are not available, they will be filled within 5 mns. Parking possible but recommended to book with the room.

A classic case of a hotel in the German-speaking world which is old but you'd have trouble telling. The modern interior of this 19th century building is cold and without character, but includes comfortable, quiet rooms with air conditioning - a rare treat in this part of the world, which gets it from 3 to 4 stars. The buffet breakfast was good but at the time we visited, in the midst of Covid hysteria, required not only the dreaded face masks if you moved from your table, but the wearing of plastic gloves to put food on your plate - all of which was fiercely policed and something we mercifully didn't encounter anywhere else in Europe. On the positive side, the hotel offered a quiet sleep in large beds and is within a very short walk of Regensburg's historic centre.

The hotel is close to the old town and the beautiful romanesque church. Very good hotel for people who like peace and quiet. Friendly service, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfasts, good parking. The staff apply epidemiological restrictions.

This nice hotel is perfect located at the beginning of the old town area. Parking (ok it cost way too much but they advise alternatives as well) is at the back of the hotel. Because of the Corona, lots of additional safety rules but OK for us. Room very pleasant and on our request located at the back side of the hotel (view on our car and no noise). Shower a little bit too small but good water amount and good soaps etc. Bed very good. A/C appreciated as it was a warm day - in the night switched off and opened window for cool night air coming in. Breakfast complete and served to adhere to the Corona rules. Pleasant assistance from the reception and quick check-out. So can absolutely recommend this hotel.

If you don't mind not having a phone in the room, nor an iron, nor a clock and only one chair to sit in then Jakob should be fine with you. My room was clean. The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English.

Nice 3 star hotel with clean rooms and AC (!) in the city center. Very helpful staff! Breakfast meets the 3 star standard. 7 mins to cathedral. The plus is on site parking. Thanks for helping me to go out of it!
