Bathroom very small and toilet pan very close to the shelves. Dual flush was not working and the toilet had been used and not flushed when we took the room. The lift smelt of, not sure but like cats wee! Because it was raining when we arrived difficult to dry coats as only place to hang clothes was in the wardrobe. If you put them on the hooks in the bathroom you couldn't use the toilet! Apparently normal to have a very small room in Paris. Restaurant L'etoile round corner excellent, recommended by receptionist. Room 507

Honestly a slightly bigger room than I was expecting for Paris! But what makes this place a great hotel to stay for your visit is the staff. They are so warm and welcoming! I heard horror stories about how Parisians might treat Americans, and the staff here blew away any stereotype. They were kind and helpful - offering recommendations. They also helped us with our French phrases. I would gladly stay here again.

Wonderful little hotel in Montmartre. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff were really lovely. It was a short walk to the metro and had a lovely bakery next door. Fantastic , affordable option in Paris. Loved the free coffees / hot chocolates and sweetie jar too. Lovely to have outdoor terrace to sit in too.

We preferred to stay in the hotel but we were told that our accommodations would be at an apartment across the street.

I enjoy staying in this hotel with a great staff, comfortable room and close to restaurants and public transport.

The hotel is close to Montmartre and the metro. Great restaurants nearby. The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are small but that is Paris. We booked 2 rooms, 1 was spotless clean. The other had a dirty bathroom with a very moldy showercurtain

Nice hotel in the Montmartre district close to the Metro and surrounded by loads of excellent small restaurants, cafes and bars and a truly superb boulangerie right next door. The room we stayed in was very small indeed but it is Paris! Spotlessly clean and has incredibly friendly reception staff who took pity on our very poor French and assisted us in every way possible. No hesitation in recommending you stay here if it suits your requirements.

Great location. Restaurant options just outside the door. 15 minute walk to Luxembourg Station to catch the metro to Charles Degall Airport. The bed was very comfortable- we came to this hotel after spending 2 weeks traveling through Portugal and Spain. The main beef I had with this hotel was that the room does not come with a mini refrigerator. I expect this to be a basic feature, but the front desk clerk said that their "premium" rooms only come with a mini refrigerator. I expect more from a Best Western property. You can't tell me it is an American thing, because every other hotel we stayed at during our trip had one. They charge 11 Euro for a breakfast buffet- it wasn't bad, but not worth 11 Euro per person. It is nice when you can stop at a local grocery store, and pick up a few things to have for breakfast before you begin sight seeing. Not here. The front desk clerk who greeted us upon arrival was very friendly and professional. I wish I remembered his name, I like to show appreciation whenever possible.

This is a Best Western Hotel, no air conditioning until the day we leave apparently. We had to move rooms as they'd put us on the top floor. It was 25/26 degrees in a stuffy room. Moved down to ground floor, little cooler, staying 3 days & only changing our towels after 2 days, nowhere to dry the towels as it's a wet room, floor stays wet! No refill of a hot drink in the morning, paper cups. The beds are comfy tho We've stayed in Ibis/Etap & found them better.

This hotel was perfect. I am a professor (from the US) who organized a trip for 20 college students. We stayed here for 5 nights and I would 100% stay here again. The metro is a short walk away and there are numerous restaurants, stores, and grocery options in this area. Laundry is right next door as is a bakery. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was very good and filling. The rooms were clean and updated. They're a bit small but that's to be expected in Paris. The price here was incredibly reasonable, especially for how nice this hotel is, when compared to other options we were considering. I highly recommend.

The standard rooms are really, really small: there's a bed and a small desk, that's it. The bed is really good though. Then the bathroom: if you are a little oversized you will NOT fit in the shower. The toilet is really close to the wall so you need to sit a little sideways. This is uncomfortable, even for just 3 days. Breakfast was good, enough choices of bread, cereals and fruit. Even drinks, yoghurt, eggs and pancakes. Location wise: really close to the Sacre Coeur: amazing!

A gem hotel in Paris. Cute and cosy rooms and very quiet at night. But the best is the staff. Everyone from the kitchen staff, cleaners and reception were sooooo nice and friendly. I recommend this hotel and will come back next time I am inParis. Thank you again to all of you for making us feel so comfortable. Location is spot on. Lots of restaurants and shops.

Great value, near all POI of Paris and really kind worker. The room was a little small but the bed was (queen size) really great. Individual clim system make a good point on hot summer night. Clean and hygienic but not perfect.

I absolutely recommend this hotel - it is great value - in a very nice neighborhood (18th District) - the hotel location is great as it is much nicer not to be in the center of the tourist areas but be situated more in a local Paris neighborhood - lots of cute bakeries, small restaurants, and grocery stores within blocks - just 2 blocks from the Metro on which you can access almost anywhere in Paris for a little more than 2 Euros - room was not large but well appointed with very comfortable beds and a decent sized bathroom with a great shower - all the hotel staff was very helpful and very friendly, especially Maria - hotel also has a nice breakfast for a small extra charge - hotel is able to store bags in case you have a late flight out of CDG - next time we are in Paris, we would 100 percent stay there again - great value, super hotel, terrific location !!!

Rooms are very small but clean with good A/C and adequate for our family of three as we didn't spend much time in the room. The hotel was clean and all the employees we interacted with were very nice. Very near a Metro line, several eateries, a small food market, and boulangerie if you opt not to pay for the breakfast at the hotel. Lots of stairs in Montmartre so maybe not the location for everyone but we enjoyed the area. Not sure when we will be back in Paris but would definitely consider staying here again.

Excellent service. Bathroom a tad small and breakfast maybe a little pricey for what it was, but the bakery next door made up for it, and the recommended restaurant across the road was really good too

Lovely hotel in a lovely quiet location. We found the staff on reception really polite friendly and very helpful. We have very limited French the reception staff spoke perfect English and were more then happy to help us. Our room was spotlessly clean the bed was so comfortable. One evening very late at night there was a lot of noise coming from the courtyard belonging to the hotel. We rang the night watchman. He sorted the problem right away. We paid 12 euros each for breakfast every day. Which included unlimited tea and coffee juices. Various breads (there was a toaster) Srambled eggs boiled eggs, cheese cold meats. Yogurts jam marmalades honey fruit. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff are definitely the jewel in the crown.

Close to Metro, restaurants. Walking distance to Basilica, and shops. You can even walk to Moulin Rouge, if you don't mind walking a bit. Along the way, you'll find many restaurants. Don't forget your camera too.

We came late after a lot of delays with our flights from Norway. There were 3 male receptionists that did not seem to know what they were doing. How hard can it be to check in? A lot of fuzz, but I dont really understand what the problem was. They did not seem to have controll and acted quite unprofessional. The room was clean but very small and I barely could walk around the bed (I'm slim). And the bed was too small for 2 persons, in my opinion (about 140 cm). Disappointed by the Housekeeping staff's lack of effort, as they just did the bed, but not refill with tea/coffee or threw away trash (except in the bin). The WIFI didnt work... Would not stay there again.

Some of the rooms are extremely small and awfully expensive for the price. The receptionist did not inform me when I arrived and neither did she when I book the room on the phone.In general the reception desk is not very customer-oriented.

Strategic location nearby the metro station and a 10-minutes walk from the heart of Montmartre. Breakfast area in the hall in front of the desk, tiny little rooms even if "comfort" with a very small bathroom and without a cupboard. Apart from the very welcoming and helpful night receptionist, unfriendly hotel staff. Next time we will choose definitely another hotel!

Location is perfect in a quiet are at the botto, of la butte de Montmartre. Everything you need is available nearby like bars, restaurants; banks; supermarket....Hotel is above avergae zith good a,enities. Rooms are small but clean and fonctionnal. Staff is cery courteous and friendly. Excelent value. I recommend.

Myself and a colleague stayed here while working at the Champions League final and it was a mixed bag. It was booked by our company and we arrived before our rooms were ready so left our cases in a storage room, which was helpful, then returned later to check in. My colleague's room was ready 20 mins before mine and when I was given the key to mine I headed up in the lift (which is smallish and slow) and opened the door to find my colleague in his room. Had to go back to reception to get the keycard reprogrammed for my actual room, I'm just glad it was my colleague's room I was wrongly sent to as it could have been a lot more awkward. My room was nice and had aircon, but was compact. The bathroom was one of the smallest I've seen and when working at the desk the chair was pressed against the bed, but it was clean and nicely furnished. Location-wise, the Apolonia is spot on for Montmartre. There's a boulangerie underneath it - which we went to each day as the bread was amazing and the dough balls filled with Nutella to die for - and a really nice cafe bar on the corner (l'Etoile de Montmartre). There are various Metro Stations in the area that are walkable, depending on where you need to go, and if you have the misfortune of having to go to the Stade de France walk down to Guy Moquet and take line 13. We didn't have breakfast here - €12 is too steep when there are loads of other local options - but we did bring lunch back from the boulangerie and also had a post-midnight drink (bought from a local shop as there is no hotel bar) in reception with friends who were staying elsewhere in Paris. We then had a fire alarm at 4.30am on the Sunday morning, which had half-dressed guests staggering down the stairs only to be told when we got to reception it was a false alarm. These things happen, but it detracted from the experience of staying in a hotel that I would rank above average in an excellent part of Paris.

First time staying since it was taken over and the revamp shows. Lovely modern rooms with all facilities, bar a fridge which is a shame. Decent TV, black out blinds and lovely view from Juliette balcony. Bathroom is tiny but has all you need. Very quiet considering you are in a busy square with excellent choices of cafes/bars and food options. Didnt have breakfast as €12 is too steep. Great supermarket down the road for all porvisions. Will be our place to go to in Paris.

Although we had an accident with the shower door of our bathroom and a day with lots of rain in Paris we enjoyed our stay. The staff of the hotel were friendly and helpful and tried their best to make us feel comfortable.

Have recently had the extreme misfortune to be sentenced to stay here due to our company travel choice. I intend on Monday morning to get this property removed over my recent stay. One, the noise is relentless from the street during the day a loud humming roar. Two, at night the noise is at times disturbingly deafening which makes it almost impossible to sleep. Three, on the second floor where I was staying there were a number of rooms who were clearly friends in the hall until 0100 laughing, screaming, slamming doors and the hotel did naught about it. Don't try calling the front desk from your room, all the phones are turned off. The "designer" bowl sink in my room was not attached to the surface, and getting into / out-if the shower fraught with peril due to a very narrow entrance and height from floor. The only decent thing I can think of at this property is the breakfast is good, but I'm unsure that it is worth €12/pp. There HAS to be a better choice in the area and next trip I can guarantee you I will NOT be staying at this property.

Great location in the Montmartre environment, with good access to public transport and many excellent restaurants and bars. Comfortable (small) but poorly insulated (noIsy) room. Very nice breakfast and very friendly helpful staff.

Excellent amenities in the hotel and good WiFi which was free. Hotel close to plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. Metro station close by too. Rooms had everything we needed and clean and tidy. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Great hotel

Hotel Apolonia in Paris Montmartre is a hotel I highly recommend. It has an amazing staff who was very friendly and helpful. It is in a good location near a metro station and the neighborhood is nice. The hotel and the room was very clean.

We liked it, room was probably too small, you couldn't really close the toilet door when you were inside it... but we enjoyed it though, was a goody staying... close to many amenities :) I'd suggest to improve their breakfast with some french deli!

Hotel absolutely not recommendable due to a lot of noise during the night. The first night a mass fight was going on, police came but the noise kept going on until 7 in the morning as there is an African bar just in front. The second night a gang of young men on mopeds kept us up all night long. The receptionist called the police 3 times, but no one came to help. Furthermore the room stank at arrival due to the hot weather the foulness creeped up the drainage and the rooms are also very small. Coffee has not been filled up the second day. All in all a big dissapointment!

Hotel is located opposite an african restaurant which is open until very late and customers are making a lot of noise, it's impossible to sleep. There was even a mass brawl outside. Police had to be called twice Rooms are tiny and the bathroom is of a size of a shoe box and pipes stank really badly. Coffee was not replenished after cleaning. Tv shows only french channels

Great value considering how expensive hotels in Paris usually are. It was clean and in an excellent location, close to the Metro and places to eat. Loved the air con since it was so hot! It didn't bother me but just to note the rooms are small, the bathroom is tiny and the lift is tiny too! The staff were all really friendly and spoke good English. I would definitely stay here again.

A convenient hotel in bohemian Montmartre district is clean, well appointed, personnel is very kind, efficient and helpful, but the bathroom and especially the shower box a ridiculous how small they are. I'm a big guy and had the most awkward experience as I had to exit the shower to put soap on my nether parts and then get in through a tiny shower door. Think of having a shower in your closet. Pathetic and I was told that mine was the standard size shower. Good for Hobbits.
