10/10 the hotel is in a great location and the host Claudio was amazing . He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and was very helpful . superb breakfast with lots of variety and excellent coffee ! The rooms are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Would recommend

We had a brilliant stay in Paciano at Antico Siparo. Claudio is the most wonderful, attentive host - he genuinely wants all guests to love the region as much as he does. The hotel is perfectly positioned within the medieval walls (park outside them) - and the hotel has been renovated to a really high standard. The olive oil bath products are beautiful. Breakfast is also varied and always delicious. Claudio was also terrific at helping us plan our time in the region - we visited local wineries, other towns, and met some of the family of the original Baci family (who have a delicious restaurant across the road).

The property has been expertly renovated and beautifully decorated with a very creative theatrical theme. Our suite was very spacious and featured fantastic views towards Tuscany. There is safe and secure parking at a location nearby. The owner was very friendly, informative, and even helped to carry luggage to and from our car. The breakfast was very tasty and fresh. Paciano is a very picturesque and peaceful little town. My wife and I also thoroughly enjoyed visiting the beautiful towns of Panicale and Castiglione del Lago. This property and nearby destinations are both very highly recommended.

Outstanding. Restored medieval building. Elegant, comfortable, relaxed. Decent sized rooms, cotton sheets, king sized beds. Home-made breakfast with fruit. Very reasonable cost/excellent value, especially comparef to Italian cities. Manager Claudio advised on places to go and local restaurants. Also arranged for local taxi to pick us up from Chuisi train station. Paciano a beautiful, small medieval town. Four restaurants, two bars, panoramic views of Lake Trasimino. A good place to escape to for a few days or for relaxing stopover between Florence and Rome. We've holidayed in Italy for 30 years. This hotel is one of the best.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The modern amenities, including air conditioning, made our stay comfortable and relaxing. Each morning we were treated to an excellent homemade breakfast that changed daily—an impressive and delicious touch. What really made our experience stand out was the hotel manager, who was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Their attentiveness truly made everything smoother and more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Antico Sipario is a gorgeous small hotel in a picturesque village. If you find yourself anywhere near Paciano, be sure to reserve your room here. Claudio, the owner, is so welcoming and makes sure you have very thing you need. The room was very comfortable, the views were stunning, and breakfast was delicious. I will absolutely stay here again!

Antico Sipario is an excellent and very comfortable boutique hotel. The extremely friendly welcome and service from Claudio the owner were outstanding! The breakfast is excellent and there is a beautiful garden in which to relax. I look forward to returning soon. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We loved every minute of our stay in Paciano. The hotel has been lovingly and sympathetically restored by Claudio and his family. The hotel retains its beautiful ancient charm along with modern touches such as the glass roof which charmingly brings light into the centre of the building. Our room was on the top floor, it was spacious with a very comfortable bed and great walk in shower. The view from our window was of the beautiful Umbrian countryside, every morning we opened the window to hear the sounds of the local clock tower chiming and birdsong, idyllic. Paciano is a great location to stay and is a great base for exploring the local area where it's easy to reach Panicale, Lake Trasimeno and Perugia as well as Orvieto and Montepulciano for Italian wine lovers! What made our trip though was Claudio. He was standout, his passion for his job and levels of hospitality were second to none. we adored chatting to him and learned more about the restoration of this beautiful building. He helped us arrange things locally, always happy to offer advice and recommendations and supported us with arrangements for a friends wedding we were attending. We would come back in a heartbeat and would wholeheartedly recommend Antico Sipario. Grazie mille Claudio!

Absolutely perfect in every way. We stayed for 7 nights with our family of five and found this hotel to be excellent for us. The town of Paciano is lovely, and was a perfect base for exploring Umbria. Claudio was extremely kind and patient with us and our children, and offered many suggestions on areas to visit as well as helping us plan activities. If you're looking for a charming, clean, historic hotel this one is a must! The hotel and the wonderful people there made our trip! ❤️
