The property serves as an ideal base for exploring Normandy's historic D-Day sites, and its proximity—just steps from the shoreline—is unbeatable. I would gladly stay here again on future visits to the region. Room & Amenities * Accommodations: The room was clean, featuring an upgraded, modern bathroom complete with a spacious walk-in shower. * Parking: Highly secure, complimentary private parking on-site with an automated night gate. * Climate Control: Note that the property does not feature air conditioning, which may be worth considering during warmer summer peak days. Location & Dining Conveniently situated within short walking distance of local dining options, including a few restaurants and a bakery.

Great location, excellent breakfast, evening receptionist (Maria) was really helpful, very polite and went out her way to make us feel welcome, she is a credit to the hotel. The only negative would be the rooms are feeling a bit dated.

Would like to have given a higher rating because of the wonderful reception we received from Marie who continued to ensure our stay was happy. Her professionalism and sunshine manner were a huge draw for the hotel but sadly, the building is tired and the rooms need attention. Our bathroom door was a slider which didn't slide and the toilet was stained with a wobbly seat. Positive points are the location which makes visiting the War Memorial very easy and that you have a communal space with tables and chairs where you can sit with friends to eat and drink in the evening. We even watched the rugby!

More of a motel really - rooms had stuff for self catering which we don't usually go for. Bed very comfortable and shower was ok. Breakfast quite basic but good. The best thing about it was the receptionist Marie she was lovely - very helpful. Don't think we will be back again

Great location poor hotel! Booked a double room ended up with a room split over two floors. Travelling with a small dog who fell through the stairs... not suitable for small pets! Living area had a bed not a sofa with nothing but a plastic sheet on the bed no cover or cushions. Bathroom had mould and was dirty No air conditioning, window wouldn't stay open with the added bonus of other guests sat below smoking. Needs painted it looks tired and worn. A beautiful area of Normandy hotel is in a great location but seriously needs work!
