Great hotel , offers best of everything and combines old and new in design and outlook . All natural breakfast including and amazing value including parking . Tram nearby to make a trip into lovely and interesting wurzburg . Very friendly and easy acces and if any trouble the friendly staf is right there to assist you . Lovely Mountain View very quiet and all are welkom , you feel very much at home far away 🤗

Check in was really easy. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Love that the room has a balcony with chairs and a table. The fridge was a nice surprise (there was a little mold in the drain). Room size is ok, I had smalle in Europe and Japan. The bathroom could be a little bit bigger, but the hot water came in fast. Breakfast was great. I love German breads and cheese from all around. Fresh fruit and veggies, plus scrambled eggs. Lots of great add ons (cereal, cakes, yogurts, etc). 24 hour hour gourmet coffee maker. Location was close to the highway and tram is across the street, plus a bus stop around the corner. Several restaurants within 5 minute walk. Attractions are about 15 minute drive. The Marienburg is about a 30 minute walk.

This hotel is great . The staff is super helpful . Kilian is great ! Gave us a lot of recommendations to go around for dinner. In a really good area . Rooms are awesome . Not big but great for a 1-2 night stay if you're in the area . Train station across the street and parking is right next door if you're driving . Would definitely come back

DO NOT STAY HERE. Came for business, I specifically asked for a room with AC because I am American and didn't want to fight the heat. The AC in the room didn't not work nor my boss's room next to me. Her being German for translation went down to tell the staff and was met with aggression, rudeness and disrespect. The only solution after being treated like garbage was to have a room with no AC which does not solve the issue. The bed is like a rock. The front reception closes which I have never seen. We were locked out the building with several other people and had to call the phone number on the dry erase board. Once someone came to issue new cards it was all of our faults that we must have had the card by our phone….all 6 of us? No…definitely not. There is no customer service. To check out, you put your card in a plastic claw machine, just doesn't make any sense. Don't stay here, especially if you're an American coming to your first time in Germany. Such a horrible, stressful experience.

The room was very nice and clean. There was free coffee in the lobby and there was also a little present for our son in the room. The personal was very friendly. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. Even so there is a big street in front of the hotel, we didn't hear it in the night.

Warm-hearted welcome great parking the rooms have everything you need of course they could be bigger but in exchange you have a spacious balcony I. The breakfast is nicely arranged and the Wi-Fi works very well. So you are off to a good start the next day.

Nice older style room. Great check in and friendly reception. Easy to find if driving and several options for parking. Pleasant bed. Has tea and coffee making facilities, Nespresso machine and capsules. Shower is small with a monsoon head and a hand shower, but all very modern.

We spent one night in this hotel. Everything was nice and very clean, the only strange thing was that we could only take the elevator at the back of the building to the 3rd floor and from there we had to take the stairs as our room was on the top floor. But what an elevator it was :). For that alone it is worth visiting this hotel. I won't write any spoilers, experience it yourself. The breakfast was also very tasty with a wide selection of food and drinks. For coffee and tea addicts there is also a free coffee machine in the lobby. A nice place to stay.

I have stayed here multiple times and would always choose this hotel over the others, the rooms are very clean, the staff friendly, easy check-in/out and although the cooked breakfast isn't as good as it used to be there are still plenty of other options and it's great value.

Nice large comfortable room with desk and sitting area, and balcony. Clean and good sized bathroom. Coffee and tea 24/7. Cozy breakfast room with good selections to choose from. Friendly staff. Room was high enough to allow for a beautiful view.

The desk staffers were very nice and helpful. The hotel is clean and there is a comfortable room to gather on the ground floor. Only problem is the shower has a slippery surface when wet as well as the bathroom floor. A refrigerator would also be great to have in the room. We had a good experience overall.

Nice rooms, friendly staff in an older hotel (looks like the 80s) . Lots of parking slots, therefore everything is fine. Good Hotelbar and Coffee for free in the Rooms. I am only here for a Business trip, so I can't give tips for the city of Würzburg

We booked it as a Seminar-Hotel. Design was modern, good quality, on the main road. Very friendly reception Team was the first surprise. Good beds, everything clean and during the seminar good quality meals and drinks. this is not just providing accommodation is is really providing service. Very nice.

I find the hotel is located nearer to a tram stop and availability of public transport is excellent 24x7. On the rooms, they are surprisingly large with amenities like coffee maker, where you can brew own espresso or coffee. For family and business visits, this is excellent with nice breakfast at a nominal price. I would recommend this for all

An lovely greeting by Nadine to this excellent hotel. The rooms are clean, beds comfortable and hot drinks re available both in the room and the lounge area. The breakfast is a very reasonable cost for a super buffet that sets you up well for rhe day. I woukd definitely stay again.

Good hotel. Big and tidy rooms. Free parking spaces. Decent breakfast spread. Big conference rooms. Polite and nice faculties. Cons: bit noisy as it is on the main road. Distance to city centre. Overall good!

Liked it so much the first time, we stayed here again on our return journey. Our room was ideal for our purposes, we were able to park our car in the garage (for a small fee), the hotel is very close to the tram stop to travel into Wurzburg. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially with allocation the same room on our return visit and nothing was a problem for them. Their assistance was greatly appreciated by us. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the hotel.

We stayed for a night on the way to Austria. Hotel is modern and clean, room has a little balcony, bathroom is modern. Breakfast was very nice. I cannot fault this hotel but the problem is the price. When we got to Austria, we realised what you get in Austria for the same money. A lot. So Best Western hotel is very expensive therefore my 3 stars.

We have been here several times, every time very happy with the service. Very comfortable beds, amazing breakfast. Rooms on the fifth floor are lovely and spacious. Other rooms can be a bit small especially the bathrooms, but everything is very clean. Staff professional and very friendly.

The hotel personnel have all been very service-minded, ready to help when needed! Great breakfast buffet, with a wide selection of foodstuffs. The rooms are a bit in need of restoration, but the clean rooms and friendly staff make up for this!

Very good hotel, close to the river, nice place. Close to restaurants. The hotel does not have a restaurant but it's ok. Very quiet neighborhood, no traffic noise, although it is very busy. I would stay again if coming to Wurzburg any time

This was my third visit and as always the welcome was very welcome. Staff cant do enough and a chocolate St Nicolaus outside the room door on St Nicolaus day proofed the attention to detail. Rooms very clean. Breakfast highly reccomended.

We were looking for a comfortable stopover hotel with indoor parking. After trawling the usual booking sites we decided on the Best Western Hotel Wurzburg Sud. Everything the hotel promised on the booking site was available, but some things fell short of expectations. Parking at the hotel is tortuous with narrow paths and a dark and small indoor parking garage with spaces designed for small city cars. Front desk service was good, polite and helpful. On first impression the room seemed OK with a nice balcony with comfortable seats. But when we had settled down the room appeared to be decorated a bit clumsily, with the flat screen television put away in a corner, while viewing was hampered even more, because the coffee maker was positioned right in front of the screen. Overall the room was a bit small. What really was disappointing was the bathroom. The bathroom was cramped, hairs were left at the back of the wash stand by the cleaning crew and the shower stall was leaking in a big way. I must add that except for the hairs in the bath room, the room was cleaned well with crispy clean bed linen. Will I stay again here? Well, the hotel is situated very convenient close to the A3 motorway and halfway on our trip to Carinthia. Maybe other rooms won't have a leaky shower stall and I had a good night sleep, that is also important. So maybe yes, I will consider this hotel again, despite the fact that the nightly fee is in my opinion a bit pricey, until I find something better.

Since two years I'm working at a nearby customer. Over time I tried other hotels as well, but the Best Western is still my favorite! Friendly staff, rooms are not spacious but OK, good breakfast buffet, ample parking space if I also count the extra parking 100 m away. I'll come again!

We had to stop on the way to Austria so we booked this hotel via Bookings on a Friday night. The rooms where outdated. Clean. Reception is not unfriendly or friendly. Price for a room except breakfast for EUR 150 was high for the quality. Breakfast itself was good and afforta ble/

Extremely pleased with this hotel. The room had a great layout with plenty of space and a nice balcony that we could enjoy. Breakfast was amazing and the restaurant and common areas (inside and outside) on the main floor were wonderful. The staff was very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again!

Good clean and tidy hotel. Rather dated in my opinion. Only stayed one night as was passing through Wurzburg. Bedroom too hot which makes sleeping difficult. The staff were very pleasant. Not much to do in and around the hotel.

Nice place to calm down after a busy day. Minibar at the reception is open the whole night. You can chose between good domestic beers. The personal is very nice. The rooms are stylish decorated. it‘s quiet in the night, so you can get a good sleep.

As a rule BW hotels outside the US are pretty good. This particular hotel is an exception. It's dated. You can see that just by looking at its facade. And the lobby leaves no room for doubt. The room was dated too and pretty small on top of that. The hotel is located some distance from the center but we had a car, and they provide ample parking. The staff are very nice. We checked in early and our room wasn't ready yet so they offered us free coffee, well brewed.

We stayed at this hotel for one night while travelling by car through Germany. The location is very convenient, not far from the highway. The hotel is a good value for the money. The checkout/checkin processes were easy. We booked the hotel online on their website 30 minutes prior to arrival and the process was also very easy and mobile phone friendly. Staff spoke English. Breakfast was good as well. The beds were very comfortable.

Simple room, no air conditioning, good wi-fi and a parking at a fair cost (5 euros). Close to the River Main and the main tourist attractions of the city (Residence, Castle, Catedral and bridge). Good for a day visit in the beautiful town and its wineries and typical bottles (bocksbeutel),

Pros: Convenient as a 1st night stop / base after a tourist flight in to Frankfurt with a hire car. Clean. Highly recommended breakfast which is well worth the extra charge. Central heating can be controlled (turned off) and the windows can be opened. European hotels are way too hot and stuffy. A true queen sized double bed - not just 2 twin beds pushed together. Free car parking either just uphill or 200 m down the street. A 20-30 min walk or a tram ride or a 15 euro taxi fare into the town centre. Cons: A small room and a tiny bathroom. Why have an internal door? Smoking is allowed on balconies so our room smelled of cigarette smoke on arrival. No safe. Thin towels the 1st night but the replacements the following day were more presentable. Rooms facing the main road will be noisy if you want the window open. Recently renovated but lacking in the expected German style of common sense / good design. There is only about 70 cm of space between the bed end and the chairs. Power points are not logically placed. Why an internal window into the bathroom? Caters for business travellers more than overseas tourists.

We spent a night as part of a business trip in two separate single rooms. Internet worked fine. Parking lot was somewhat crowded. For the garage there seem to be 7,50€ added to the bill. Breakfast was not part of our prebooking, would have cost 11,50€ - we decided for the breakfast at McDonalds accross the road. Rooms & bathrooms where nice - made fairly new impression The Notepad-Computers where still on the room and still not working - I do not understand the reason, why they do not simply get removed, as it is anyway more a gimmick Staff was very friendly, although somewhat slow at the checkout. Together with the "High Time" for check out at 8:00 a.m. a line piled up . All together, I feel that the accumulating rating of the hotel should be better , as it seems that they have done some major rework this summer and presents itself now as good price/value. We stayed at rooms facing the backside, which where very quiet. The rooms to the street could be noisy, as it is a major street.

Good hotel , a short tram ride from Wurzburg town. It was easy to find on driving from Frankfurt. Comfy clean rooms, decent enough breakfast and polite service. The tram stop is just outside , over the road. The hotel has parking in a secure garage.

We chose this hotel purely for the location. Driving from Munich to Amsterdam we needed an overnight stop and Wurzburg was in vicinity of where we wanted to be for a quick overnight stop. The best thing about this hotel is that it is a couple of kilometres from the main north south A3 motorway. Parking is relatively easy, there is an underground garage and an outdoor area above it. The check in process copes with late arrivals, the bedrooms are clean and functional and bathrooms are adequate. Breakfast was Euros 11 each and I thought well worth it. Arrived about 10 pm and left at 08:30 am total cost was £ 107.

We wanted a good dinner and quiet night in between long drives. The dinner was nice, as was breakfast. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The location is right on a busy commercial street, though we still enjoyed a short exploratory walk.

The hotel is located in the southern part of Würzburg outside the city center close to a tram station (Andreas-Grieser-Straße). Ok, this may not be one of the most preferred locations in Würzburg, but is was well suited for us. We selected this hotel due to its vicinity to a meeting location. The hotel is equipped with a modern interior already at the reception. The personnel is very friendly and very helpful (I searched for a screwdriver late in the evening, not for fixing the room ;)). The room was very clean and spacey, with nice lighting, e.g., LED light around the bed. Very welcome was also that the shower separated from the toilet, i.e., in a different (small) room. The WiFi was free and worked nicely add good connection rates. Moreover, the room was prepared for a modern traveler: USB charging, large flatscreen, secured tablet for access to internet, news, messages, wakeup service, etc. At the breakfast, the hotel offered a rich breakfast buffet, in particular cereals. As we had a rather early meeting, the personnel arranged that we could start with breakfast earlier than usual. In summary, we had an enjoyable breakfast there.

Looks a little uninspiring from outside, but don't be put off - the room was very modern, roomy and extremely clean - great shower, too. Reception on arrival was very friendly and I was able to check in early. Unfortunately the restaurant/bar was closed, but there are places to eat nearby - had a lovely meal just a few minutes walk up the road. Very handy for the Sporthalle, which was my destination. P.S. Now a Best Western, but people in town seemed to know it as the Post Hotel.

This hotel has just been taken over by best western but still has the feel of a small independent German hotel. Rooms are basic but comfy and very clean Staff is friendly and speak many languages Breakfast is a nice typical German breakfast with breads cold cuts eggs and coffee/tea. Parking is free but fills up fast. Hotel sits within walking distance of the 'strassenbahn' which takes you directly into the center of town.

The hotel offers what you need as a businesstraveller. You can park free of charge and there is internet connection in the room. Its not a fancy place but good value for the Price. The bathroom was newly renovated.

We took a family room which was situated on the top floor - unfortunately it seems family rooms are only situated on the top. The room was too hot despite the fact that it was not a hot day at all, and given that the window was overlooking a busy road, we couldn't open the window during the night. So we had a really bad night with little sleep. The staff was nice though and probably lower floors are better.

Fair value for the money. Room was good and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is reasonable close to the old city. One odd thing is our room had a window in thebathroom that looked at the bed. There was no curtain. Not sure what that was all about.

Excellent hotel The staff got my room ready 3 hours early for me. They could not have been more helpful. The food was very good, breakfast was particularly worth getting up for. Dinner in their own restaurant meant I didn't have to go out to find food. Close to the tram so could get about without driving All in all first class
