Gorgeous tree line setting and beautiful hotel. Lots of amenities. Very nice dog area with seating and lights. Quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was so delicious. On-site restaurant offering steaks and chicken. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Best Best Western in Williams, AZ just 1 hr away from the Grand Canyon. The amenities were exactly what we needed - breakfast, laundry, a place to sleep of course but also well maintained and professional and hospital staff. Thank you!

Stayed at this property for the first time and was beyond pleased with the property. The entire property has Kachina carved art in the corridors to the rooms as well as the lounge which had a wall of craved Kachinas in a very attractive museum- like display. The hotel lobby desk experience was quick and professional. The lobby was attractively decorated in a fall colors scheme and the decorated tree in the full service restaurant was stunning. The room was nicely decorated and the bed was beyond comfy. The rooms heating/air unit was quiet and worked efficiently. There was a automatic coffee station in the lobby and my latte was actually quite good. Breakfast was good, standard buffet style, and the ham, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, and beverages were very good.My breakfast was eaten in the restaurant, on nice restaurant china. This was one of the better Best Western Plus' I have stayed in and I will definitively be booking this property when my travels bring back through northern Arizona.

Excellent place to stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Grounds and building were well maintained. Breakfast was excellent. Easy access to town, Route 40 and Route 66. Good location overall and work staying at.

Staying at a BW hotel can be a crapshoot; some are wonderful and some are a nightmare. I am happy to say that this BW is one of the best I have had the pleasure to patronize. We were greeted warmly and our room was clean and quiet. The atmosphere of the hotel is very warm and comforting. We dined at the restaurant and it was very good. It was nice not to have to search for a place to eat, but to have a good spot right inside the hotel.

This is a very beautiful hotel. When you walk in it is just an awesome experience. Has a gift shop, lounge and steakhouse on the property. Staff were exceptional. Room was awesome. Great place to stay

Hidden away up the hill was a great overnight stop. They have a steak house restaurant so you do not have to get back in your car to find food. The desk clerk was friendly and the room was large and clean. A great overnight stop or a base for visiting the Grand Canyon

This facility is very clean, friendly staff, very quiet and great restaurant to eat. Pet friendly. This is probably the finest Best Western we have ever stayed and we have been to quite a few of their hotels. We will stay here again in our travels.

Overall, the room was very clean, well decorated, and quiet. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. It was great having the restaurant on-site so we were able to stay in the hotel and have dinner. There is a beautiful patio area outside the restaurant but it was too chilly outside for us to use it. It had a beautiful view of the area. The staff is very courteous and friendly. They wanted to make sure we were getting the right amount of attention so that we could enjoy our stay. The breakfast area was well stocked and kept clean. The staff kept an eye out for empty plates/cups and checked if we wanted them removed. We will definitely stay here when we are next in the area. The hotel is located just outside of the town of Williams, but it is a very easy drive into town to walk around the shops.

Nice location and premises. Very friendly staff. Out of Williams in a nice neighborhood. Very clean and well kept rooms. The food at the in house resturant is good quality and the atmosphere quite warm.

Rode the train to the Grand Canyon by the time we got back. We were very tired, and like having a good steak at the hotel and not having to go anywhere for food. The beds were the most comfortable (softer) I have had in hotel in a long time. Nice location in the pines.

This hotel was really comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Plus the free breakfast was really good. Check in was very easy and quick. It was nicer than I would expect for a property from the Best Western brand. The room was very spacious. The bathroom was kind of small but that was the only downside, I'd recommend this hotel.

I spent 10 days at this location with my pet boxer. It was her first hotel stay. The amazing front staff was so welcoming and always greeted us as we came and went. They were attentive to all our questions and needs. I highly recommend this hotel. I have stayed in at least four other hotels in town, and I felt the most comfortable and appreciated at this location.

Hotel beds are no longer comfortable. Hotel staff is average to uncaring. Unlike Hampton Inn, who actually accommodates customers when they have issues, this BW does not. Restaurant is a joke. Go to the Mexican restaurant at the bottom of the hill instead, you can walk there from the parking lot, El Comedor Cardenas. Great food, awesome service and great prices. At BW we waited an hour for cold food, then waited for a replacement and was given it in a to go bag. A steak, with plastic forks do not work, and where was I supposed to eat? In my room I guess, so they can have their table for the next guest. I chose to have my birthday anniversary dinner here. Big mistake! Will never return to this hotel or restaurant.

The hotel is beautiful and the entertainment was amazing! The wait staff was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel. It might be a littler pricier than others but it is beautiful. The grounds are beautiful and it is close to downtown Williams.

This Best Western Plus is a comfortable modern motel off the interstate and in the trees. Nice location. Motel provides good restaurant and lounge with entertainment some nights. Restful location for an overnight stay for an overnight stop in Williams. Staff are friendly and helpful.

We were so impressed with this BW. Most are nice but this one exceeded all expectations. The lodge and restaurant/ bfst area are in the center of the motel. Room are on two floor on either side. Large stairway in the lobby.. The setting in surrounded by trees that lends to the atmosphere. The room was really nice and large. There was a separate dressing area outside the bath with the frig. They even had glasses and ceramic cups in the rooms. Really made you feel like you were in an expensive motel. Bfst was amazing. There were three people working to keep the bkft stocked and tables clean. Once again there were real plates and silverware. There were lots of options for dining and it was all good. Wish we could visit here more often. If you're in the area, don't miss staying here.

This hotel is in a fantastic location about a mile outside of downtown Williams. It is at the top of a little hill, sitting amongst the trees and is very quiet. You don't hear the noise of downtown Williams and can get a good night's sleep. The free breakfast in the morning is one of the best I've ever seen, with REAL eggs, not those nasty powdered ones. Every employee I encountered in the hotel was pleasant and helpful, too. Seriously, you can't go wrong with this hotel!

We stumbled upon the hotel online while driving, we're going to stay one night decided on two and on the way back we stayed another night, the rooms were spacious and the beds super comfortable, clean and the breakfast was great ! Extremely centric to all the Williams Route 66 sights !!

This is a great hotel. I generally stay at Marriott but was looking for a hotel closer to The Grand Canyon. The Williams Best Western had some great reviews so I gave it a try. So happy I did. The room was perfect for my family of 4. Comfortable, good (free) continental breakfast. Great staff. The pool and hot Tub were wonderful. Me and my husband hung out in the outside hot tub while my kids swam in the pool. The outdoor setting was beautiful, trees and lights all around, with a gas fire pit. Felt more like a resort than a chain hotel. The downtown area if so quaint. We ate at Pine Country Restaurant which was delicious and then walked around Route 66 to see the shops. They had a Mater and Lighting McQueen cars on the streets that my kids loved an a Wild West Shootout at 7pm right in the street. It was really a night stop over on the way to the Grand Caynon.

We were very surprised how nice this Best Western hotel was. The front desk clerks were very kind and accommodating and the room was clean as well as the premises. We loved our room as well as our Boston Terrier dog Rudy did! He even got a welcome dog bone gift❤️ The food at the Western View Inn Steakhouse was fabulous! Stay was amazing with beautiful views. Staff was very personable and so helpful. Enjoyed everything about our stay from friendliness of staff, amazing food and amenities of facility. we stopped at this hotel on our motorcycle trip in june,good comfortable room excellant evening meal with entertainment,good breakfast, a little further out of williams but well worth it, this hotel has everything we need,,we have booked again for our second motorcycle trip in september

Very clean, nice hotel with friendly service. They had some really unique decorative Indian figurines displayed throughout the hotel, which was a really cool touch. They had a very nice restaurant that served a tasty hot breakfast in the morning with plenty of seating. They also had a little gift shop where you could purchase souvenirs of the Grand Canyon.

The first time I stayed at this hotel was because I was tired and did not want to continue driving the additional 3-4 hours to my next stop. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! So surprised, in fact, that I now make this a must stay-over place on any of my trips North. The rooms are clean, beds are perfect, and the restaurant and bar fun. The food is top notch but more importantly, the staff are wonderful. Worth the stop!

Travelling around the US and sleeping only in BW Hotels gave us a clear idea of what the service is around and what should be. BW Plus Inn of Williams was the best of all: welcoming, comfortable and surrounded by pine trees. They have a coffee machine where you can have real Nespesso or Cappuccino. The restaurant very well manged, elegant but not expensive; sauna and pool romanticly lit and cozy atmosphere. Too bad it was only one night but hopefully we will be back there one day, On your way to Grand Canyon choose this hotel and you won't regret it! Thank you for your welcome and keep up the good job

Excellent assorted array of breakfast items, including healthy choices. Extremely clean, sanitary environment accompanied by very clean utensils and plates. Staff were extremely diligent with attention to detail to ensure guests consistently received only the best quality and environment. Every staff we came in contact with excel in his or her position. Noteworthy were Dorothy and Lee who provided excellence in the dining area. Food and Beverage Jessica provided a glimpse (behind the scenes) how united the staff excel at empowering each other and work well as a team (I was in the dining area and heard this from behind wall). Apparently the Olson's are the BEST to work for and I applaud them for also empowering their employees to excel. No matter when we arrive time or season and no matter the length of our visit, the consistency, quality and dedication of the staff are exemplary. KUDOS! Also to Manager Jennifer for excelling in her position as well to ensure guest satisfaction. She definitely goes beyond to ensure all in compliance! And noteworthy are the VERY EFFICIENT housekeeping and maintenance (plus chef, kitchen staff) for always maintaining excellence in their areas. KEEP US THE EXCELLENCE IN YOUR RESORT. You truly prove that when you empower your staff to excel, it shows their dedication. Bar host Elizabeth was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable in her area. So far so good. Our repeat stays keep on getting better because we know we can always expect the BEST from the Best Western in Williams, AZ!

This place hit all the right notes for a very satisfying and, I would even go as far as saying, enjoyable experience and this is that I was only able to be there one night. I wish I could have stayed longer, next time hopefully. Very highly recommended!

Found by accident on bucket list travel across America. What a gem! Restaurant was perfect, great service, tasty food and the hot loaf of fresh baked bread with my meal really took the cake! Steak tender, beer cold! Wait staff was VERY professional!

It's is currently 4:35am and there is a beeping noise coming from somewhere inside the hotel that is loud enough to have woken me up. It's been happening for an hour, Helena at the front desk just shrugged her shoulders at 3:45 when I told her about it and said “we'll ya know” about a half dozen times. Staying here is torture.

We've stayed at this hotel a few times now and love it here. It's a great value because the of the location, the friendly & helpful staff, great bar & restaurant, and because it's pet friendly! Also, the free breakfast has a decent selection of hot and cold options. I will say I wish the floors in the rooms were cleaner, but that's about the only complaint I have.

We have stayed at this hotel a lot over the past two years. It's always clean, quiet and the front staff are very friendly and attentive. We love the location as it's freeway close and the town of Williams is just down the street. We will definitely be staying here again!

Hotel was clean, shower pressure fine, but I can't sleep on a hard bed! I have stayed at many Best Westerns over the years since I used to work for them, but this was a disappointment. I chose this hotel as it was farther from the train tracks but that ended up not being an issue. Not sleeping because of the bed effected my sleep more.

Was extremely pleased with my room and stay at the Williamson Best Western. The room was very clean, the free breakfast was good, the restaurant and lounge was very good and the staff was very friendly. I have no complaints at all and would highly recommend staying here.

This was a nice, clean hotel after a full day at the Grand Canyon. The rooms were very clean and complete with the amenities that we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was good and we had entertainment provided by a singing guitarist. It was very nice after a long day at Grand Canyon..

Stayed here twice and we just love the outdoor area, the firepit and pool, the lounge and lovely dining area. Staff are attentive and kind and I can't say enough about the gorgeous surroundings of pines and mountains!

We loved this hotel; it is definitely one of the best we've ever stayed in. Price was a bit higher than I usually spend, but it was worth it. It had a resort-like feel and is a bit nestled in the woods. Room was large, clean, quiet and had nice decor and warm lighting. The guest laundry was convenient -- they have one on each floor -- so glad I didn't have to lug my laundry to another floor. The breakfast was nicely presented; food is similar to that of other Best Westerns, but the breakfast room is much more spacious and they use real plates/utensils/glasses and you eat in their restaurant dining room.

OMG after the day we had, we found comfort in our stay at BWP. Everything was great - the ease of check-in, amenities, the staff, and most important, the cleanliness of hotel. The night manager was simply awesome. I would definitely recommend this location. It is on the main street, but not in the center of town. It is nestled among the trees. The manager went out of her way to ensure our stay was prefect and it was.

As one of the other reviewers wrote, this is a class act. I cannot remember the last time the breakfast area used real china and silver ware. All the staff people, from check in to room service were friendly and had a smile and friendly greeting. The room was very comfortable. The location was only a few minute ride to the center of Williams. The grounds are very nice. This is a fine place to stay when in this area.

The Best Western Plus in Williams is a class act. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are like being in a forest. Even their pet area is the best I have EVER been in. The staff is wonderful, EVERYONE! The Steakhouse is good and not to pricy. It was so comfy I did not want to leave.

Spent the night after returning from the canyon and wished we had stayed here the night before we went to the canyon. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast, great staff. Laundry room was a plus! Very highly recommend this hotel.

Delightful hotel just outside of the main town of Williams! Very clean, wonderful free breakfast, and great at atmosphere. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The highlight of the hotel is a superb restaurant that has fabulous food! I had the lamb chops and they were the best I've ever tasted. Restaurant is slightly upscale but it was perfect and my husband and I shared a good bottle of wine with dinner. They have live, lovely music in the dining room every evening. I would highly recommend staying here.

near to train and down town Williams but still secluded ,quite and comfortable. Very helpful staff and the included breakfast was the best I have enjoyed at a BW for verity, quality and quantity. Would recommend this place with no reservations.

High, very firm beds with plenty of fluffy pillow and lots of towels. There is also a fridge and coffee maker in the room but no microwave. The room offers real, heavy glassware with an ice bucket instead of those cheap plastic cups one usually finds in a hotel. The little touches like this make a difference. The wifi was slow with poor connectivity (bad cell service in room too). Lovely location and wooded setting with plenty of relaxing places to walk the pup, nice hotel with restaurant and lounge on premises. The shower is good with plenty of hot water and a nonskid mat for the tub floor. Pet-friendly room has wood style tile which is very nice and a very reasonable $25 pet fee. I always inspect the room before my pet has full run of the accommodation to make sure people haven't dropped medication, food, or other items that might make my pup sick. I checked all the nooks and crannies with an LED flashlight (because you know if something is there the pup will find it!) and came up with nothing...all good! We got a 1st floor room facing the parking lot and woods right next to one of the building exits so that made it extremely easy to transport our luggage, very nice. We heard some traffic in the late afternoon as travelers were pulling in to stay at the hotel but after that it was all quiet and peaceful for the night. Parking lot and long circular drive is well lit for outings with the pup in the dark, plus dog stations with bags. I didn't feel unsafe at all taking him out which is very important to me. Restaurant on premises is convenient but slow service, pricey, and messed up my salad order. The night was completely quiet with no train noise, traffic noise, barking, or any other disturbances. I think this is the best hotel in town and we'd definitely stay here again...our pup loved it too!

The staff are so friendly and to hotel is very clean. We eat dinner at the Steak House then relaxed by the outdoor fire pit with a glass of wine. The views are amazing-such a beautiful setting. Would recommend this hotel and will stay again.

This is a beautiful facility, right down to the location (up a hill and among the pines). We were only here one night but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice, very clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent. It was such a nice treat to eat breakfast on real china and on top of that the selection of items was very good.

I've stayed here several times when in the Williams area and have enjoyed it every time. It's clean, comfortable, beautiful, and their staff is friendly. I like being away from the hustle and bustle of town and yet it's so close to the highway. Breakfast is good and so is the restaurant if you want to have dinner there.

Beautiful grounds and very clean. Very friendly and front desk upon check in. Our room was ready at 3:00 sharp as expected. Pool/spa, workout room. Free breakfast. Restaurant on site and lounge/bar was very inviting with nice bar staff. Priced appropriately. Loved our stay. Will stay again for sure.

Our stay was more than we expected, the steakhouse was excellent as well as the service. Our steaks were done exactly as requested, the waiters ( Alfredo and Lee ) performed their duties above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend this establishment.

The facility and all staff were great. The room was clean and well stocked (daily) with fresh towels, etc. Breakfast service was plentiful and varied. Definitely recommend the location -- away from the bustle of Williams in quiet secluded surroundings with easy access to the town and I-40.

Great stay. Efficient staff. Clean quiet room. Best restaurant in Williams is in this facility! Please use the Grand Canyon railway into the park if you want to help small town usa. Kids love this ride as they attempt to entertain the two hour ride. It also serves to decrease car traffic into the park abs includes you park entry fee in the train ticket. Good abs beverages are available for purchase on the train.

I struggle in writing negative reviews. So I'm going start with the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Hotel wise, it is a nice stay. HOWEVER, the restaurant in the lobby's loud music was extremely hard to ignore from the hotel room. After spending all day driving all I wished for was a pleasant night to sleep. Even the tv was not capable of drowning out the noise from the restaurant's music. Highly disappointing and does reflect negatively on this hotel. Sleeping in my hotel room was the equivalent of trying to sleep in an apartment above a club.

Staff were very welcoming and we're willing to listen to our concerns. Great quiet location. Very clean and went the extra mile to sanitize. Breakfast was more then continental. Staff continued to keep everything sanitize. Plenty of staff at breakfast.

My family and I had a great stay. With a 5 and 8 year old you never know how things will go and the hotel was very clean and a great stay. The comp breakfast was top notch and the staff did a great job of keeping the food fully stocked and available.

This hotel rates amongst the top we have stayed in while traveling with our horses across the US. They have a wonderful staff, delicious full breakfast options and a fire pit for guests to unwind and enjoy.

The hotel is very nice with a great, out-of-the way location. The rooms were great and the lobby was very nice. The served a true hot breakfast. They had lots of free parking. It is close to Williams but not in the downtown. The hotel was very quiet and relaxing.

Stayed here before. Room is nice size with comfy bed. No microwave in room - access to one elsewhere if needed. Couldn't find refrigerator but enjoyed coffee maker. Loved the shower! First time here to visit their steakhouse and it is excellent! The live entertainment was excellent and nice to see older couples get up and dance! Complementary breakfast was appreciated - I loved the eggs, sausage, and coffee. Only real problem is one with the design of the hotel - elevator in ridiculous place at far end of hall! Air conditioning a little loud as the unit shuts on and off.

We stayed two nights while visiting Grand Canyon one day. It is an easy 70-minute drive. The hotel is new and modern with excellent facilities including a good restaurant and lounge. Williams "downtown" is about a mile down the road and has numerous dining options as well. The cost was dramatically less than a stay in the Park or in Tusyan.

My wife and I (age 69, have stayed in dozens of motels) stayed here last week. Nice wooded setting, pleasant front desk staff. Refrigerator and HVAC were very noisy, interfered with sleep. On-site restaurant would not charge dinner to room, receptionist wasn't very friendly, wouldn't allow us to borrow plates to eat dinner on.

We would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Everything was beautiful and clean and the staff was fantastic. Ate at the steakhouse and everything was delicious. Breakfast was a full breakfast and complimentary. Live entertainment was excellent (Omar the Entertainer) Location to downtown Williams was great. Firepit area was cozy.

Food was excellent. Service was superior. Drinks were served well.. Had live entertainment than did a good job. People were enjoying themselves. Catered to people with fine taste. This will hard to come up with 200 characters. The requirements

Stayed at this hotel last year and it was fantastic. Clean rooms, great restaurant and close to the golf course. I plan on staying here again. Very surprised when I arrived at the hotel. It was more than i expected. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Good hotel with free breakfast, in nice location. My boyfriend and I felt very comfortable. We were able to do laundry there as well. It is tucked away a bit off the road which is also a perk. Friendly guests and staff. Would recommend !!

We stayed here for two nights. Excellent property. No noise, very clean rooms and friendly staffs. Breakfast was nice. Only 1 hour drive from Grand Canyon south rim. Highly recommended. I will love to come back again. Only the microwave was in the common facility, which was quiet surprising.

Surprisingly I've never had a bad experience at a Best Western. This location is no exception. Got a great rate on their room with the semi separate living room area and two TV's. The room was very clean, nicely refreshed and the bed was comfortable. The toiletries are of high quality, love the lemon smell. Had dinner at their steakhouse, while not the best meal I've ever had, for the price and the location we were happy. Also had drinks at the lobby bar. Drinks were very strong and the prices fair. Surprisingly, they even had a bottle of Glenlivet 25 year old, of which I purchased a shot. The property itself is older, the lobby looks mid 80's but it was clean and cozy, especially as it was snowing when we stayed here and the lobby fireplace was roaring. Debbie at the front desk was excellent. She provided us with extra toiletries including combs and toothbrushes since we literally decided to stay here last minute after deciding to drive up for the day from our home in Phoenix. Rachel at the bar was also great. Really friendly and she went the extra mile to explain the dessert menu and drinks. I'd highly recommend staying here if in Williams or if you are going to the Grand Canyon area.

The best thing about this property is the food quality/taste at the Western View Steakhouse located in the lobby. The service from everyone is great. The best food in Williams is found in the lobby of a Best Western hotel!

I loved this hotel in a cute little town. The staff was welcoming and the room was clean and elegant. The lounge was inviting and relaxing. The food was delicious and the breakfast was over the top! I would love to stay here again.

Convenience and cleanliness as well as better than great customer service. We would never have to leave the premises if not to explore. On site is a steakhouse and bar. The furnishings reflect the area and the gift shop held information of the area and SWAG. Although there was people checking in there were always persons to care for your needs. A plus was the coffee maker not far from the check in desk. Everyone was jovial and some seemed to be talking to return visitors. Upon leaving I felt as though I was leaving friends.

The Williams Best Western was a nice surprise. It was tucked into a private area and not on the Main Street. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had an on-site Steak House. Breakfast was great. Real plates and silver was used which was a nice treat. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again.

We spent 2 nights here as a jumping off point for the Grand Canyon (1 hour) away and also to visit the Antelope Canyon in Page ( a must do). Can't say enough about the friendly staff and the clean fresh rooms! Very modern and well maintained. They lit the fire on the patio every night. Gave a nice ambience to the area. We had a lovely steak dinner at the attached steak house! My husband only eats tenderloin and his was amazing. A little spoiled I would say lol. The hot breakfast was good as well. They had gloves for people to wear while they were dishing up the food as well as hand sanitizer which is a great idea. We will definitely go back if we are through the area in the future. Lots of nice places to eat downtown as well. Great community!

This was a wonderful stay, the best Best Western I've ever experienced. Excellent therapeutic spa, convenient clean dog park with baggies, hot and tasty breakfast, fine dining for dinner, lovely scenery, a spacious clean room with very comfy beds with a heater in the bathroom. Wish I could have stayed a few more days!

We have stayed here in the past and afterward we always remark what an exceptional property this is. On this visit, we were disappointed that the restaurant and bar were both temporarily closed "for deep cleaning" but, under the circumstances (continuing pandemic), we understand. Nonetheless, this was another very positive stay, and the staff was welcoming and friendly as alway.

I hate to share a good review of this amazing hotel because I want to keep it to myself. This is the only place we stay on our many trips through Williams. The setting is beautiful, the employees are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious. The dining room was kept sanitized with cards identifying which tables were clean and which were not. Gloves and hand sanitizer were available in the food area. I understand that the hotel has an exercise room and a pool, but we didn't make use of these. All of this at a really reasonable price.

Fuss free hotel in a solid location with a welcoming lobby. Rooms are a tad old with somewhat poor ventilation but spacious enough. for the value you really can't complain. A decent enough spread at the breakfast as well which is a welcome surprise.

Stayed here to ride the Polar Express. Decided to stay here after a previous visit to Williams. The place we stayed recommended the steakhouse inside the BW and we were so impressed that we decided to stay there during our Polar Express visit. Like the steakhouse, the hotel is one of the best we've ever stayed in. For just over $100 / night, the service and facility is 5 star quality. Our daughter likened the Christmas decorations to something only seen in a Halmark Movie. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The room was super comfortable and clean and to our amazement they actually make up the room daily. And yes, even got clean towels. Also, the free breakfast was a feast with lots of choices. I will definitely stay here when in Williams.

I really enjoyed my stay! I took my geriatric dog on a bucket-list type trip to the Grand Canyon. The staff at the hotel was very friendly, and helpful! The room was comfortable. I would just recommend bringing a safety mat or fold-up stairs if you have a small dog that likes to jump up to the bed, as they were hard floors, and a tall bed. The breakfast was awesome, and so was dinner from the restaurant! I would definitely stay here again!

This is our first time at the best Western plus in Williams. Wish we would have gotten there a little earlier as it was a very nice hotel. All the rooms were inside and they had a very nice eating area which included a restaurant and a bar. Since we got there a little late we missed this as they close at 9 PM. The breakfast they serve in the morning is really nice and has all the typical hot food that you would expect along with other cold foods as well. The staff was very accommodating. Our initial room was just below the washroom on the second floor and it made a lot of noise when it was in use and when we asked for another room close by they were able to switch our room quickly.

Everything about this hotel is wonderful. Beautiful grounds, gorgeous Southwestern interior design and decor, and a truly high-end feel. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a sitting room, a king-size bed, and a flat screen TV in each area. There is a well equipped fitness room with a multi station strength machine, a treadmill, a recumbent bike, and an elliptical machine. The complimentary breakfast buffet is wonderful, and dinner in the restaurant was first class! I recommend the Ribeye steak! Finally, the staff is welcoming, professional, and extremely accommodating! All in all, an incredible property!

We stayed here one night on our way to our final Thanksgiving destination. Just off the I 40 It's nicely nestled in the woods. Beautiful location. The rooms are spacious with all the amenities and good bed and pillows. It also has a nice steak restaurant and the Kachina lounge. You can get a good meal at a very reasonable price. Service is good and staff very friendly.

YES!! We made your stay as you'd hoped for. Glad you could spend part of your Holiday with us.

We had just arrived at the Best Western in Williams Arizona when we realized that we were not able to stay for our second night. It was a family matter, and we had to leave the next morning. We attempted to cancel our second night with the front desk and were told that we could cancel by 4:00, but that we did need to cancel with the 3rd-party company with which we booked the reservation. We hustled and did our diligence with the 3rd party. They told us that it would be fine and they understood, but we would need to get approval from the hotel management. We then realized that we had been misled when directed to the 3rd party company (Priceline). Jennifer, the manager at the Best Western, informed us that she had the power and the buck stopped with her. She told us that she would not allow us to receive a refund for our second night. After pleading our case, we walked away discouraged-but better informed. We will not again be staying-nor would we recommend staying-at the Best Western Inn of Williams. The hotel and rooms were as would be expected at a 2-star hotel, but the leadership failed to take care of my family (their guest).

I am sorry that you didn't understand the cancellation policy when you booked through the 3rd party. Whatever agreement you make with the 3rd party is the agreement we adhere to so it is fair to everyone. May you be safe in all your travels.

Was told by staff from another hotel that since Williams is so small, you can hear the train from anywhere. Was happy to report that Best Western Plus is located up a little hill and my room was facing trees so did not hear the trains. Room was clean but the fridge smelled like dead fish. The blazing fireplace near the front entrance was a nice touch. Unfortunately the staff at the counter during check in didn't add to the experience, not rude but no service.

Hotel was great all around. We were pleasant surprised on Location. Our purpose was to enjoy the town of Williams. Hotel not within walking distance but well worth it because of the way hotel lay out was nettled into a forest setting. Could hardly tell I-40 was only yards away. This will be our go to hotel when visiting Williams.

This place is excellent!. We were on our way back to Phoenix from getting married in Sedona, going to Tusayan and the Grand Canyon. We decided to stay in Williams and chose this Best Western and we're glad we did!. Great staff, great room, great restaurant and entertainment!. We were going to go to town to eat, but stayed and the food was great!. Breakfast was also fantastic and the service is so great. We were so surprised that this Best Western was so nice. Room: The room at BW Williams we had was a king with sofa. Incredibly clean, plenty of plug ins for devices and direct (no cubes needed) charging. Bathroom was spotless with plenty of clean linens, extra pillows in cupboard (even though bed already had 5); ironing board, microwave, coffee & pot, fridge, hairdryer. The bed was comfortable and the wifi worked in the room. Hotel: There's a great outdoor fire pit on their patio that nestles you in the trees ; a pool; and a handicap assist hot tub. In-house gift shop for necessities and more; in-house hot breakfast with room stay. Interior elevator, pet friendly rooms, superclean main lobby and restaurant/ bar. It's easy enough to find, being clearly marked and on the road into town. Easy travel to Bearizona, the golf course, and the Grand Canyon Railway. Restaurant: We chose to eat dinner in-house for our stay and it was WONDERFUL. Their in-house evening steak house has a fantastic fully menu. Our drinks were not watered down. The baked garlic brie was piping hot and perfectly demi-melted in its cast iron skillet. The french onion soup was incredibly rich and steeped in flavor. The filet was cooked exactly as ordered. The lamb chops were PERFECTION. The sauces were generous, and the sides were fresh. Excellent dessert selection, and the bar kept restaurant hours so after-dinner drinks were available.

Thank you for staying with. We actually aren't right next to the cemetery, there is a restaurant, gas station and another hotel that is between us and the cemetery. But we are located in the forest and we do have a great bar and restaurant. And your right, our staff is very attentive.

horrible restaurant. Food was garbage, waiter was absolutely a no show. Lettuce was a handful of yelluce with a yellow cherry tomato. Hostess refused happy hour drinks; her clock was 5 minutes fast than the cell phone. steak was shoe leather, my burger was 3-4 oz. advertised as 3/4 lb. when wife asked for ketchup for fries, waiter told her to use mine.

Breakfast also started at 6:30 a.m. so that you could have breakfast but still get an early start to Grand Canyon NP. It also has a restaurant on site, but we did not use it during our stay.

This hotel is very nice and clean. It is definitely a luxury type hotel. They have a beautiful pool area. There also is a steak restaurant on the premises. We didn't try it, though. The prices seem a tad bit high. Right down the street is the old nostalgic route 66 scene. Williams is also only an hour's drive from the Grand Canyon. You pay more than usual , but you have to consider the location.

Although for most people, Williams would not be a destination stop, those who designed the facility did an excellent job of making it seem like more than just an overnight motel. Spacious lobby area and unexpected lounge (which unfortunately was not open on this trip).

Room was nice and clean and the pool area looked lovely. This was just an overnight stay passing through for us. Our plane was delayed so we didn't arrive until about 1:30 in the morning. Checked out early to get on the road again before breakfast. My only complaint was our stay was about 7 hours and the price Of the room was high. We had made a reservation otherwise would have grabbed a cheaper place. Didn't know our plane would be delayed that much. I just feel when stuff like that happens maybe a reduction a little in the room rate would be nice.

Pleasantly surprised at how quiet and not too far away from the downtown area it was. Not too crazy, imo. Like the country feel of the surrounding area and nice walking paths. Enjoyed Williams this trip for Bearizona and shopping for gifts on Route 66.

All of these rooms are inside a hall and it is excruciatingly noisy. My requested “quiet room” was between a baby that screamed for 4 hours and a dog who barked continuously in response to the baby. I called the front desk and asked to be moved. At first they said no, then four hours later, when it was too late to do anything, they “found” a quieter room. In the morning the housekeeper started knocking on my door despite the DO NOT DISTURB sign. Despite being asked to stop, this happened 4 more times. When I asked for a discount at the front upon checkout the spiteful manager charged me $164 — much more than the 139$ quoted. I'm asking my credit card company to deal with it. The building and the property is lovely ( though the brown rooms are a bit depressing) but the management is beyond awful. Oh, there was hair on the sheets (which were on inside out) and in the sink and shower. Ugh.

I am so sorry that you did not enjoy yours stay. You were charged correctly after reviewing your folio... The room rate was $139 + tax. The 1st pet was included in the price of the room but since you had 2 pets, that is were the extra $25. Safe travels wherever life may take you!

Great place to stay, when exploring the area of Northern Arizona. Very nice motel, clean and having a lounge and great place to eat in one location is nice. Williams, AZ offers some great places to eat and places to visit.

The hotel was very clean and inviting. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We especially loved the bartender in the lounge. She has a great personality and made my daughter a special virgin drink that made her day! We enjoyed the firepit in the evening and the hotel has lots of indoor and outdoor tables and chairs so there's plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Williams

I love this branch of best western hotel. It is secluded way up the hill and you can see the view of the down canopy and lots of trees and greens alike. The staff were gracious and prompt( receptionist and breakfast crew. There's a singing cowboy entertainer who performs in the restaurant(high end) and caters to mostly Senior entertainment. Bedsheets are comfy but you cannot adjust the AC as it is preset.

This hotel was fantastic. Definitely a higher end Best Western. People at check in were nice and helpful during my entire stay. They made everything easy (from purchasing detergent for laundry to adding an extra night to our reservation). Excellent location is right off highway but tucked away in the mountains. Beautiful landscape. Hot tub was fantastic, nice and hot with very strong jets. Pool was lovely too (though I wish it was warmer). I was sad to leave and would definitely stay here again!

Our first visit to this hotel was about 8 years ago and we decided that after that visit we would only stay at this hotel. The first year we went to town for dinner the next year it was late so we stayed at the hotel for dinner. We were impressed with the service , menu and food so now always have dinner at the hotel.

Had a great stay here but unfortunately it was only one night. The rooms are roomy really nice and the restaurant and bar are excellent. Little pricey but worth it. We will be going back soon. Williams is a cool place to wander around.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was only one hour easy drive to the Grand Canyon. Enjoyed that it was a few minutes away from the busy town, and the surroundings were so pretty. They had music in the restaurant in Friday and Saturday night. We could hear the music from the lobby. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and roomy. The breakfast served was standard hotel breakfast (eggs, ham, biscuits, gravy, cereal, oatmeal, pancakes and yogurt), but it was tastier than most. I would definitely recommend staying at this location.

Modern, immaculate accommodations and pet-friendly! We stayed with our dog and the room was spotless and fresh. We had a great forest view and a great, convenient outdoor area to walk the dog. The bathroom was modern and spacious and the beds comfy. Bonus: breakfast was delicious—great scrambled eggs and biscuits and oatmeal. So many places have sun-par breakfasts, this was so good! Very handsome lobby and dining area, and all staff were friendly and attentive.

Best hotel in the Northern AZ area. Bar/ restaurant the best in Williams. The folks who work here are all very nice. Staying in Flagstaff? This place beats any hotels in Flagstaff and just might be worth the 30 min drive. Perfect for your Grand Canyon base camp

This hotel is a treat. It's tucked away in the pines, far enough from I-40 to escape the traffic noise. Plenty of parking. The rooms are large and comfortable, the bed was very restful, and the bathroom was nice. It's a treat to have a good restaurant and bar on site. We sat in the bar and enjoyed a good dinner and an excellent local brew recommended by the friendly and knowledgeable bartender. On Saturday night, when we stayed, they even had live music - a single musician doing classic pop covers. (The music ended at 9 pm.) Highly recommend this place!

We always stay at Best Western when we're in Williams (which is often). We usually have no complaints about it. However, our last couple of stays we have been taken aback at how cost-prohibitive it has become. Also, on our most recent stay, our room had an unpleasant stale cigarette odor. It dissipated after a while so we did not report it, but we should not have to worry about this in a smoke-free hotel!

This is a great hotel for business OR pleasure - you are close to really everything….I wish I had my clubs with me the golf course is like 5 minutes away….Plus the center of town is very close by…BearAZ is only like 7 minutes IF that! PLUS going to the Grand Canyon on the GC Railroad you're at the depot within 4 minutes.

The location of the hotel is wonderful, near the freeway exit, but set back in the woods. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The pillows were not comfortable for me, as they were too firm and "puffy". Probably would work for a back sleeper, not so much for me. Most hotels now provide a variety of pillow stuffing and firmness so guests can select the one the prefer. If I were to return to this hotel, I would bring my own pillow. The front desk personnel were polite and accommodating, even when we requested a room change to make sleeping arrangements a little easier. Didn't get a chance to try the pool, so can't rate that. Breakfast was OK. About par for hotels of this level of amenities. Some members of the family liked it better than I did (but I stay at more hotels than they do :>) Overall, enjoyed the accommodations and would stay here again in the future.

We spent 1 night while on the road at the BW in Williams, AZ. The hotel was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. It was so nice to have a good restaurant in the hotel after a long day of driving. Had a wonderful dinner at the steakhouse and they even had entertainment. Morning breakfast had a large selection of items and was delicious. Location is really nice and very quiet. Loved our stay and would definitely stay there again.

We make sure and stay at the Best Western Williams anytime we are in the Flagstaff area. The hotel staff are always courteous and go out of their way to please. The hotel is secluded against a lovely hill backdrop. Try it, you'll like it!

This is a really lovely Best Western property. Pool, spa, outdoor seating areas are very nice. So happy to be able to enjoy a drink on the patio with our dog in the evening, and she could join us there the next morning for breakfast. Lots of space for pets, including a separate area at the far end of the parking lot. Room was very nice. The only downside is that it's not close to the city. And it's pricey.

We drove from MO through OK, TX, NM, AZ, UT, CO and hit so many different places. Our trip included 10 different hotels. After staying here, the rest of the trip, we kept comparing every other hotel to this one. We TRIED to find a reason to come back to Williams for another night here but our trip, and time, just didnt allow. The room was excellent. Everything was nice, worked, and was clean. We were comfortable and happy. The decor in the hotel and lobby is perfect. The resturant was excellent. Our server was named Kevin I believe, and he was fast, attentive, super friendly, offered lots of conversation and advise. The food was awesome too. Really great and one of the best on our trip. Breakfast the next morning was a buffet, had everything you would want, was super hot, fresh and was HANDS DOWN, the best breakfast in 10 days of traveling. Some hotels just had grab bags, and crappy muffins, and juice machines that didnt work. This hotel had everything and it was excellent. Just cant say enough good things about the resturant and the breakfast. (The coffee cup lids dont fit the cups so I leaked coffee all over my brand new white shirt, but I laughed it off, changed and forgot about it. So watch out for the coffee to-go cups. lol.) They also have a killer pool, and hot tub. This hotel is right off the road but its surrounded by trees and forest. It really feels so secluded and very quiet. It FEELS like your on vacation. Its resort-like. Really nice. They had a firepit going which was super nice after swimming and sitting in the hottub. I made a margarita, sat around the fire and warmed up, and really enjoyed it. All the staff we interacted with were great. I just dont have any complaints at all about this hotel. I wish we werent from MO and had a reason to pass by here yearly on vacation. I would stay here every single time and actually look forward to it.

Room smelled like feces and vomit. Carpet was soaked. Hair all over the bathroom. Room has a fridge but there is no microwave on sight (this does not make sense). The grounds and lobby/restaurant are beautiful! I'm disappointed that our room was so disgusting. Front desk quickly moved us to a clean room, so I hope this was a one off occasion. But after a long day of traveling and looking forward to relaxing, we were very disappointed.

We are driving cross country from Los Angeles to Michigan....we stopped at this Best Western Plus in Williams..seemed to us to be the highest levels of hotels available in Wiliams. Rate was fair. We loved the property and had an amazing dinner in their in house restaurant, Alfredo was our server when we arrived at 8:30pm and the restaurant closes at 9am. Alfredo was soo kind, told us to take our time. We really enjoyed their Spinach dip app (i want the recipe), we split a 10 oz filet, which came with house salad, baked potato and yummy bacon green beans. Food was excellent cooked perfectly. Our room, we asked for something not near anything noisy (ie elevator bank, ice machines, etc). We were in room 122 i believe. Room was nice, beds/pillows comfortable, bathroom simple, clean, fridge, etc. A/C was a tad noisy and didn't get room cool enough we thought so we were hot sleeping. Bigger issue was early the next morning we heard tons of noise, turned out our room was nextdoor to laundry facility for the entire hotel, music playing, people talking, banging, etc. This was tough on us. The breakfast which is included is satifactory, good OJ, Coffee..some eggs, ham, breads, pastry, yogurt from a machine, oatmeal and whole apples. We talked to the front desk regarding the noise, A/C but they offered nothing. And assume due to trying to cover from Covid. Otherwise we liked the hotel very much. Has plenty of parking, safe. Great outdoor patio, pool, gym, nice bar.

Actually stopped in for dinner after the Celtic festival. My husband and I had an amazing meal. Our server was attentive and courteous. Steak was the best I've ever tasted. A last minute decision to stay. Staff was great and courteous. Room clean and bed super comfy!

This is our 3rd trip to Williams, Az and the 1st time staying at this hotel. Some may think the stay is pricey - but do yourself a favor, enjoy the amenities and luxury this hotel has to offer. We stayed here as we took family from out of town to the Grand Canyon. Only an hour drive and well worth the cost. My grandson even learned how to swim in their pool. Hot tub was away from the pool which made it nice for adults to enjoy. Breakfast was great - staff was fantastic. Rooms were modern and up to date (no cheap Styrofoam, plastic cups).

Wonderful place to stay at. My sister and I had a fabulous time. Everything about the hotel was great. Restaurant was delicious, Kevin and Hannah were our servers/hostess and they were so friendly. Will return!

Williams is a great city and the Best Western Plus Inn is definitely the best place to stay. The location is great (5 mins from downtown, gateway to Grand Canyon South & West Rim, and even to Las Vegas), the facilities are great, the breakfast is amazing and their Steakhouse is tremendous. I'll definitely stay there during my next trip to AZ.

What a welcoming hotel. We selected this location based on other reviews and so glad we decided to give it a try. The outside of the hotel was very clean and nice located on the hill right off of Route 66 in Williams. The young lady Alexis working the front desk was so friendly and helped by suggesting a roll-away bed and also food options since we arrived late in the evening. Thanks for your help. She also informed us that they had a full breakfast every morning. It really was a great hot breakfast and I love how they had signage, gloves and sanitizer at the entrance to help keep it clean. Hot food options, pastries and lots of drink options. Our room was cozy for the four of us but it was good. The beds were comfortable which helped after we were out all day enjoying the great outdoors. We appreciated the blackout shades too. Very clean room and the bathroom was a good size. We also had a fridge in the room which helped with snacks and drinks. The housekeeping staff were kind too and they will clean your room daily if you want them too. Which is great during the present time of Covid. The outdoor area was very clean and the pool was super clean. They had a firepit, pool and hot tub. We returned late from our daily adventures so we didn't swim. We did eat our breakfast on the patio since the weather was amazing. Our only not so good moment was with a lady working in the restaurant one evening- she wasn't friendly and seemed bothered by our questions. We didn't let her ruin our stay.

Very nice rooms. Excellent buffet breakfast, the dining room was clean and sanitized. The front desk Staff (especially Debbie) was extra kind and helpful. We stayed here 2 nights on our adventure to the Grand Canyon. Williams is a cool little town on Route 66. Would highly recommend. If we are ever out in the are again we will be staying here.

We stayed here because it was close to I-40 and we also like that it was close to the fun of the town of Williams. It is about 1 hour from The Southern rim of the Grand Canyon. There are many tours leaving from the area. The hotel was great and the staff was very friendly. We hope to make it back someday.

This is a wonderful hotel with all of the amenities in Williams, AZ. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff is very friendly!! The hotel is set back on the trees giving a true feeling of being away from everything while still being close to everything in Williams!

This was the best of all the Best Westerns I have stayed at. Plenty of trees and the location is away from other places. The restaurant and bar is good and pool area is really nice with firepit. The hot tub was working which isn't always the case with hotels. Decor and beds were nice. The town of Williams is not to big or small and they have good breweries in town. You get your fill of Route 66. They were serving a full breakfast with masks and gloves. I can't think of anything I did not like. It was a great stay.

Our travel agent arranged for us to stay at this property because of the location on Route 66 and because we are traveling with a pet dog (14 lb Cavalier King Charles). There was a bit of a snafu due to the booking company, but thanks to the front desk it was straightened out. (Yeah! Front desk!!)

This is one of the nicest BWs I've ever stayed in (longtime BW rewards member here) and an extremely good value for the price. The property is set up a long driveway in the trees, just off I-40/Rt. 66 and is beautiful inside and out. There is a (somewhat pricey) restaurant and lounge with live music, a large outdoor pool and spa and an absolutely fantastic breakfast (fresh made scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, pancakes, etc.) with very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was large, comfortable and updated, however we were placed in the first room away from the lobby so the live music and later piped-in lobby music were heard in the room, however the loud air conditioner drowned out the music once it was turned on. Aside from the room location, this is truly a BW Plus experience and we would definitely stay here again! Hotel is 5 minutes from downtown Williams, 30 minutes from Flagstaff and one hour from the Grand Canyon.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, once in August, 2020 and this stay in May, 2021. Checkin could have been long and cumbersome, because I was paying with a gift certificate, but the person at the front desk took detailed notes so she could complete the process after I left the front desk, getting me to my room super-quick. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient every time I interacted with them. The room was very comfortable. The mattress included a memory-foam topper to make it extra comfortable. Outdoor amenities included a spa, a heated pool, and a fire pit, all in excellent condition. Since my last visit, when breakfast was served by an attendant, they have gone back to their full self-service breakfast. (They ask guests to wear gloves and masks, both of which are provided.). Choices are extensive and include scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, meat (I had sausage one day, ham the next), Pancakes (fresh made by a machine), pastries, yogurt, cereal, several beverage choices, and there were probably several other items I didn't notice. Very good breakfast. I came looking for a place to relax for the weekend, and this hotel definitely fit the bill. There are plenty of cheaper places to stay in Williams, but this hotel is definitely worth what you pay for it. I'd definitely stay again on a future trip.

We were impressed just by walking into the lobby! Very nice hotel! Very clean, all employees we encountered were very polite and professional. Room was nice with comfortable beds and pillows. Cozy night time fire pit to sit around outside and chill with a drink. Morning breakfast was excellent and they serve it to you with a smile! I highly recommend this Best Western!

Williams is a great launch point for the Grand Canyon and this comfortable, quiet hotel was perfect. Beautiful views, even a restaurant and lounge, remodeled rooms, super clean and comfortable. Staff, particularly the breakfast attendants, were welcoming and helpful

Stayed only 1 night and had very nice experience. I liked guest room. It was spacious, with desk and lounge chair. Breakfast area organized nicely with description of food and decent size sitting area.

Bedding left much to be desired in cleanliness. The coverlet on both beds was stained and the bed skirt on one had something spilled or splashed on it. Just did not feel the room "felt" clean in general. Water spots on glasses, counters, spots on other hard surfaces that looked like they had not been sanitized, etc. No microwave or hair dryer in the room. Hotel was quiet and beds were very comfortable. Finally, I didn't feel the hotel was convenient to the Grand Canyon. It is on the far end of Williams when coming from the canyon.

We stayed here while visiting the Grand Canyon, The staff was pleasant, it was convenient having a restaurant in the hotel. The hotel and rooms were clean, everything was in working order, atmosphere was pleasant.

First experienced this property back in 2013. We were so pleased with our stay then that when we planned our visit to Grand Canyon there was no question where we would stay for the two nights we would be near the Canyon. Excellent rooms, efficient and courteous staff, and well-maintained grounds and public spaces. Highly recommend this hotel.

There was nothing wrong with this stay at the Best Western Plus Inn of Williams. The breakfast meals were delicious, the evening meal we had at the restaurant was really great. All staff were very friendly, and service was impeccable. I highly recommend staying here.

The Room they put us in had hair on floor and in sink. I complained then they moved us into another room it to had hair on floor and pee at base of toilet seat and the bedside tables were dirty. With covid you would think more care would be takin.

First time with my family in Williams AZ and this hotel was a great option. Very cozy in middle of the woods. Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Just 2 minutes away from Williams Main Street and 6 minutes away from Bearizona park. My kids enjoyed a lot.

We were coming in at 1am and the receptionist was incredibly helpful, and then our beds were really comfortable. However the breakfast was one of the best we've ever had in a hotel environment. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We also spent a good amount of time in the Hot Tub and the setting is beautiful with tall mountain pines surrounding it! We loved our stay and wished it could have been longer.

This was the greatest BW we've ever stayed at. Also, with Covid worries, I bought my own disinfectant wipes. After wiping down all hard surfaces, the wipe was still bright white. Seriously, not a speck of dirt! Also, it snowed during our stay. They had their own plows & snow blowers. The front desk also had ice scrapers. Can't wait to stay here again!

The hotel was a much needed relief when we had been caught in a horrible traffic jam and winter storm. It was about 1a at check-in and the woman at guest services was being so nice. The hotel was full but she was helping find other rooms at nearby hotels. The room was big, although a bit dated. However, all of the town is dated so it is above standard for the community. The bed was a new memory foam, so it's a bit firm. But once you lay for a bit, it gets softer. Overall, so thankful for this night stay when it seemed like we would be sleeping on I-40.

We experienced true value for our money at this hotel. Everyone was very nice and attentive to our needs. The hotel is a newer hotel, not an old school motel. Nice bedding and towels, refrigerator worked real well.

The Best Western Plus in Williams AZ is a special place, with its slightly-off-road western/Native-American forested hilltop ski-resort ambiance. My husband and I have stayed here a number of times over the years. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are clean — for just a few dollars extra we always book one of the few with a balcony, which puts you in the piney tree-tops. The restaurant is pleasant and the customers all seem to like it, but it is definitely traditional with only a very limited menu selection for those with vegan leanings, depending on strictness. The gym is small and public, but well-furnished with new equipment. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and firepit are lovely in the warm season. A wonderful, romantic place to stop for the night on a road-trip! (Plenty of families stop here too!)

This hotel room was very clean, comfortable and modern. The large bathroom was laid out well and gave us plenty of room. The restaurant, gym, jacuzzi and lounge area were available, but we choose to stay in our room due to covid.

This hotel is tucked up on a hill off the main road. It has a very inviting lobby, bar and restaurant area.. There is a pool, jacuzzi and gym for your enjoyment. All the staff is pleasant and very professional. This is a Best Western Plus I will definitely visit again.

Sort of typical BW--good value and location, Showing some wear and tear but nothing that affects the stay. Staff friendly and obliging. Too bad restaurant still closed. Bartender is competent and great to chat with.

Jennifer, the General manager is rude, lacks empathy, lies, and does not like customers who book through a third party. We were driving from to texas to California for a funeral. We got stuck on I-10 in texas for almost 20 hours putting us behind. We called to cancel. At first she tells us to contact Priceline. We did and Priceline stated that the hotel makes the decision to refund. We called back and Jennifer refused to refund our money because we booked through a third party. Jennifer went on and on about how the hotel always looses money with third party reservation. Her and her staff hung up on me three times when I asked for the regional manager information.As a customer how is that my problem? From what I see most of the hotels business is from third party companies. We have emailed corporate.

Beautiful location tucked on the side of a mountain with great views of a valley. Has Native American/Southwestern decor. Has a decent hot breakfast that they have mastered in spite of this Covid crisis. Unfortunately there's no microwaves in the rooms. The TV didn't work the first night and the sheets had yellow and brown stains/spots on them. Once they changed the sheets we finally were able to rest the second night. Other then that the room was very clean and the staff were very polite and courteous. I also don't think we received our Veteran's discount. Next time we would probably try another hotel but for the price it was ok.

COVID clean - We liked our stay so much, decided to spend a extra night in Williams. Room was clean, no issues. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone in building wore masks and face shields. Would highly recommend this hotel.

the treatment of the staff was excellent, my room was clean and the breakfast was very good! with all due precautions, they still make a great effort to offer a good service Although there is not an extensive menu, I consider that they have the essentials for a good breakfast

Showed up late during a snow storm. The staff was fantastic! We were able to eat at the restaurant even when it was 15 minutes from closing. They even dug out our car after the snowfall! It was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend staying there.

Heat did not work through the evening. I reported 3 times. Guy came into fix but the fix did not work. all they could say is sorry. Now I have stayed here many times in the past and this has not happened. In fact with many choices, I could have stayed elsewhere but decided not to. Perhaps it is time to look at one of the many choices I have

The lobby was welcoming and decorated nicely for the Christmas holiday. Bartender was super friendly, helpful and on top of his orders managing a very busy bar area with several ordering food as well. Food for dinner and the free hot breakfast was good, not off the charts but not bad. The beds were very comfortable and the room was a little dated but clean so no complaints.

Perfect hotel when visiting the Grand Canyon very quiet.Great service rooms are clean.the staff is very helpful lobby is very nice with a fire place, hotel is up in a small hill making it very quiet and peaceful.

We stayed in a long room w the pull out sofa. There were dead bugs in the couch and food crumbs and scraps. The sheets hadn't been changed in a very long time. The bed spread on the bed had a dark brown spot that was not a stain- it was crusty. The shower was clogged and filled up as soon as we turned water on. Front desk staff did not wear masks in a global pandemic. Phone staff were rude, curt and apparently had something better to do than to speak with a customer prior to a stay. Piles of trash sitting outside bc the trash cans were over filled and falling out. Will not stay again in a Best Western. Glad it was only 1 night and super glad we didn't eat there!

This BW was away from town in a lovely mountain setting. Some might like being closer to town, but the mountains had plenty of places for the children to run around and have a great time. The motel was very nice with pleasant people and it includes a nice restaurant, but it is not open on Monday.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly the rooms were extremely clean, and the beautiful scenery around it was breathtaking. We really enjoyed having a nice hot breakfast. When we arrived we were greeted by the most friendliest outgoing lady at the front desk.

Hotel staff was very helpful. Views of the hills and ability to walk around was great. Better than average pet friendly. Even with COVID, hotel does their best to serve the guests. The room was very comfortable and clean. Only down side was room doesn't get serviced if there only a couple of days. We didn't use other facilities but I believe they would have been great. It was cold so people didn't utilize the fire pit or because it wasn't lit no one gathered. That may have been nice. Overall great experience.

We stayed one night on our way to the Grand Canyon. We had our little dog with us. I can tell you that our room on the first floor was larger than I expected, sparkling clean, and the beds were so cozy. The front desk personnel were welcoming and friendly. The complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious, with scrambled eggs, ham and various rolls and pastries. The friendly kitchen staff took our order and then handed us the plates with our food so that we could sit at one of the tables (Covid restrictions followed well). All employees were wearing masks. This hotel is in a lovely setting, and anyone bringing a pet will be pleasantly surprised by the rooms and the great outdoor walking areas. Williams is a Western-style town on Route 66 and is an absolute gem of a place. I recommend this Best Western Plus to travelers looking for a great hotel in this area.

We booked a last minute weekend getaway. Everything was great. I'm just not a big fan of memory foam mattresses/ toppers. But that's no reflection on the hotel. There was snow still on the ground & a short drive to one of the campgrounds was a great place for snow play for our family. Took advantage of the Polar Express Santa at the train station for some great photos. Shopping was great in nearby Flagstaff. Nearby restaurants were great as was the one at the hotel. Breakfast was great. Staff very attentive. We will be returning soon...you guys are great!

The experience was awesome, great service and friendly team members , we really were able to relax and enjoy our stay. We would recommend staying here in your travels to the Grand Canyon, it may be an hour or so drive to the Grand Canyon but the views are well worth it

The Best Western Plus Williams is located in a forested area, slightly outside of town. It would be difficult to walk to most restaurants, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast offered hot options, which was nice in these Covid times. We would definitely stay here again. I have a one suggestion for a better stay. The rooms have no microwaves. This is apparently because management wants you to eat at their restaurant. That seems a little cheap. Lastly, on Friday and Saturday night the hotel offers live entertainment at the restaurant. You could hear it in the rooms, though It ends around 9 p.m. This is more a warning for those who want peace and quiet. It wasn't a huge deal for us, just wanted to make future travelers aware of it. That said, it is a very nice property, great for a couple's getaway. We hope to return soon.

We did a last minute booking for two rooms in Williams at the BW Plus. Wonderfully located on grounds surrounded by pine trees as our grandchildren had fun running around the grounds. Easy check in and check out. The spa was used in the evening by our daughter who had the spa to herself. The breakfast was very complete with a number of offerings and done quite well considering the Covid restrictions. We ordered dinner from the restaurant for pick up and it too was delicious. Would definitely stay there again. The town of Williams is charming in and of itself and is not to be missed. Visited Bearizona and that too was enjoyed by the family.

When our hotel for the night didn't work out, we decided to drive another couple of hours along our journey to the Best Western in Williams, AZ because we had been there before, and we knew what to expect. As usual, we were greeted with a smile. This Best Western, like most, has nice bedding and a comfortable bed. The service was great (except the one waitress in the restaurant). The food was delicious!

We spent two nights while visiting Grand Canyon and Sedona. The hotel was clean and the service was excellent. Hot breakfast was great, nightly music in the lounge area. Fire pit outside for the cold nights. Really an excellent stay. I couldn't find anything to complain about. My only observation is I would have like to have microwave in room or at least a community one in a common area to use. Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel.

I would have preferred to send this review directly to the hotel for a response before posting publicly, but NO WHERE could I find email or direct review info on the hotel's website. So, instead here I am letting the world know that my expectations for cleanliness and safety measures were definitely not met on this visit to the Best Western Plus of Williams this past weekend. We like the BW+ brand and were happy to find last minute availability for a pet friendly room. The check-in process went well, with masked desk staff members behind a plexiglass screen, and baskets for "sanitized" and "dirty" pens. Great. But, over the course of our one night stay we discovered the the keypad on the in-room phone was filty, with sticky, gummy, ugly brown grime in between some of the numbers. I discovered this while using the phone to order food from the restaurant that we intended to pick up. Yuk! Picking up the food was another disappointment when it was clear that none of the guests in the dining room were adequately socially distanced, but more important, none of the staff were wearing masks. I interacted with two servers and the hostess, none of which were masked. On a separate matter, the salmon dinner I picked up was given to me in a bag that was completely coated inside with grease that had spilled out of the to go container from the sautéed vegetables (obviously overdosed in butter). The grease had seeped through to the bottom of the bag and I'm surprised it didn't give out on my way back to the room. I had to clean everything before we could eat, there was so much grease. Lastly, when I showered the next morning I was appalled to see my black footprints in the shower once the water got going, which told me that the dark laminate floors in the room were simply masking a very dirty floor. I was really disgusted. Perhaps the housekeeping department mops the floor, but you wouldn't believe so with how dirty the bottoms of my feet had gotten. At the very least, they need to change out the water in the bucket regularly or it's just a matter of pushing dirty water around and around. On a positive note, at least they had pet relief areas with dog bags and trash containers right outside the many hotel doors. I thought we might have found a new hotel to stay at on our travels through this area on the way to other places, but we definitely won't be back. In the best of times none of this is acceptable, but during a pandemic I am just counting the days until I am sure my health has not suffered from these substandard cleaning and serving practices.

The hotel was just fine. But in the COVID era, when the hotel had safety signs posted at the doors and all over the place, it was disturbing to have checkin personnel and other hotel and restaurant staff not wear masks. We know it can be hard to force guests , but the staff should be setting an example - for everyone's sake. This is especially true for a place right outside the Grand Canyon where visitors come and be dispersing all over the planet.

I wish we had discovered this place on our previous trip to Williams in July, but thankfully now that we know it exists, we can't wait to go back. The hotel is situated off the beaten path but close enough for a walk to the downtown area. It's secluded and serene, at the end of a very long uphill drive. We left our kayaks on the roof of our car for two nights and felt very safe with them out there. The property itself is well-maintained. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool, and fire pit areas each evening, and also took little strolls on the grounds. The staff was receptive to any issues or needs we had. We even picked up a walking stick and some Prickly Pear Lemonade in the cute gift shop. We were there over Labor Day weekend, so I'm not sure if that was why, but there was live music in the bar area nightly. The only negative for us was that the food menus didn't offer much in the way for non-meat eaters (for breakfast or dinner), but we have already decided we will return. The pros outweigh the cons with this place!

We requested a pet friendly room. That must mean they don't need to clean as well as they do for others. We arrived tired after traveling all day. I walked in and settled in, sat down on the bed and noticed my feet were filthy. I thought it was from the black floor mats in my car. I showered and went about my evening. I sat down and realized my feet were filthy again! Yes. It came off the floor! I washed my feet again and wore socks the rest of the night. I started to get into bed and realized the cover on the bed was dirty, as are the curtains in the room. The upside is that the surroundings are beautiful and the staff was friendly. We've never had this happen at a BW. It's very disappointing. We're staying in another BW tomorrow night in Lubbock Texas. If it's not better, they've lost our business. After all, just because we have a pet does not mean we don't deserve the same courtesy and cleanliness as every other guest.

Stayed here to take train to Grand Canyon. They serve a modified hot breakfast and the restaurant has excellent food and staff, Rooms are clean as is the whole establishment. This was our 2nd trip to the Grand Canyon via the train. Stayed at another major chain last time, but does not compare to the Best Western. When we are in the Williams area again this is definitely where we will stay.

Night clerk was very rude and unprofessional. Upon arrival she was not wearing name tag.She didn't change my room from two queen to one king bed reason she gave me was very weird, she told me that with rewards points reservation,She can't change my room type. Neither she offer any snacks nor points.Despite knowing my Platinum Status she didn't treat my in that manner.

Enjoyed a memorable birthday celebration staycation for Sarah-Michelle, here in the tall pines. The heated pool and hot tub were open. There was a guitar player during dinner. Had the biggest and best "Scorpion shrimp" appetizer, followed by "Australian Lamb" chops dinner.Was pleasantly surprised these items were on the menu here. Food and service was exceptional. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. A hot buffet breakfast was served to order while practicing social distancing. Impressed that this hotel in the small town of Williams had so much to offer. Highly recommend, and plan to return.

The Best Western in Williams, AZ is staffed with people who are nice and helpful. The decor is up to date and interesting. The room and the hotel were exceptionally clean. This is by far the nicest hotel we have stayed at in a long time. The restaurant was clean, the food was good, and the outdoor seating area was very nice. This hotel is a deal.

Traveling with family, one night in Williams, and this Best Western was a nice stopover. Very clean hotel, comfortable beds, and rooms were kept up nicely. We would stay here again without hesitation.

The hotel rooms were nice and bed was comfortable. Pool and hot tub were great. We were there multiple days and had to ask the front desk for toilet paper (there was only what was on the roll). Friendly staff, but could replace shampoo, toilet paper, etc.

I didn't expect to have issues checking in, since I had preregistered and also pre-checked-in earlier that morning. But when I arrived, my room had been given to a different guest with a similar name (is what I was told). However the clerk was able to get me an upgraded room. The Inn is in a secluded location up a mountain in the trees. It is a beautiful location. The experience was different than normal due to the virus, but they did everything they could to make it as normal as possible. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Bottom line, people make mistakes since they are human. The important thing is how they address and fix the problem. Debbie and the front desk employees do what they need to do to make it right.

We were told one price over the phone and they didn't honor that. We were also told that they would clean our room after 3 days , they refused. Moved to the holiday inn express, loved that place. Much cleaner than this place.

We traveled to Williams for a softball tournament. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our group. Two women who worked the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. One even arranged balloons to welcome my daughter in the room on her birthday. They provide roll-away beds, even though the fit is tight (many hotels won't). The outdoor pool and jacuzzi, fire pit, tree-lined view, live music, and covid safety precautions were all more than I expected. Wonderful value for the price.

This is a great classy place to stay in Williams. ff you want to stay closer to town,don't worry as this lovely hotel is worth just a short distance away. The surroundings are beautiful with all the pine trees on the premesis . Great outdoor swimming pool. The dinner menu is awesome at the restaurant and bar.. The hotel room was large and very updated and so pretty. Cant say enough how great this hotel is.

We stayed at this Best Western on a golf trip and it was excellent! Lobby is well done with many kachina dolls displayed and very nice areas. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Only complaint was the AC was very noisy. Could only open the window a few inches and in would have been nice to open it fully and get fresh air. This Best Western makes you feel that they have gone the extra mile in making their breakfast area feel safe during the Covid. They have people serving you breakfast so that there is no one touching the food or utensils. Thank you for making us feel safe during our visit. Will return again!

This was not my first stay at this impressive resort like hotel and it won't be my last. The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly and professional. It's a great place to unwind after a long drive so make sure to get there early enough to watch the sunset from the outdoor patio area. There was live entertainment and a full bar.

The only reason this hotel is not getting a review of “excellent” is because the beds are horrible, but everything else about this hotel is awesome. The women working the front desk were super nice. There is a cool gift shop and a restaurant (which was closed when we were there) in the lobby. The hotel is located on the side of a mountain and has a hiking trail behind it. The pool and spa areas are very nice and there is also an area with a fire pit. The room was very small and the beds were not comfortable. There is a fridge in the room but no microwave. The hotel is located close to the I-40 and about two miles from the main drag. Williams is gorgeous, and the landscape surrounding the hotel more than made up for the terrible beds. I would definitely stay here again just for the scenery.

We stayed 1 night on our 2020 Roadtrip. Staff were super helpful!! The facility was clean & very nice! The location is also great to drive out to the Grand Canyon. The hotel has awesome Native American decor. They also served a hot breakfast... the only one we've found in 16 nights of hotels while under Covid precautions. Highly recommend!!

This was one of the nicest Best Westerns I stayed in. Very clean and comfortable, good beds and pillows! Bar and dining on site. The grounds offered a nice western view with plenty of trees for shade.

The Best Western Plus in Williams is a very nice to stay. Have stayed there before and will again. I like that it is just out of town tucked into the pine trees. Campus is well taken care of of and the staff is excellent.

We were looking for someplace to go just to get away from all of the craziness of the World's current events. We have come to, very much, appreciate the Best Western Plus and this one in Williams is our favorite. We were not disappointed.

This hotel exceed all expectations. I loved the atmosphere and it was very clean. The staff was so friendly. They also are able to still provide breakfast during COVID which was great for the value. They have the buffet closed off and you walk up to the barrier, order and the staff quickly bring the food to you. Such an efficient and honestly more cleanly system.

We have stayed in this hotel before and always enjoyed the stay. We were a bit anxious about staying at a hotel during the Covid pandemic, but once we arrived and saw how much effort was put in to creating a safe environment so we could relax and have fun, we did just that. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good - being served our order already plated was great and the servers were extremely helpful in providing it exactly the way we wanted it. Cleaning the common spaces was a ongoing, the room was spotless and everything we requested was available on arrival. We had never eaten dinner in the hotel because in past stays we ate in town, but this time we had dinner in the lounge and it was great - food, service and ambiance. Beds were very comfortable, coffee in the room, refrigerator was a good size - couldn't ask for much more.

Stayed at this Best Western Plus. Check-in was easy, friendly staff, room comfortable, COVID-19 at 50% capacity. The outdoor pool and hot tub were great. The breakfast was good, but we did not eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. Overall comfortable stay.

Sometimes it really is worth it spend a few more dollars to get a better hotel and this BW+ is a great example. The first impression was how friendly, inviting and helpful the receptionist & staff are. But a few more dollars buys you a much larger spacious room with a desk and reading chair, a comfy king bed with new linens, fluffy towels with an immaculate bathroom that can easily accommodate two adults, a beautiful swimming pool and large hot tub ( both working in spite of Covid-19 ) and a hot breakfast served by friendly staff from behind a safe counter where you order your preference instead of getting a brown plastic bag w a muffin, OJ & water. This BW+ is clearly a step above with creative, accommodating management & wonderful staff.

We had a positive stay here and really enjoyed the woods around the property and forest views from our room. Our room was spacious, very clean and seemed to have been updated very recently. Newer furniture, linens, TV and bathroom remodel made the room feel fresh and new. Check in and out was easy. Allowed us to check in early, but with a fee attached. Nice outdoor eating area right by the forest. Customer service was polite and professional. We did not eat breakfast here and I believe the pool was closed due to COVID. Only things that would make it better: allow early check ins with no fee, a softer bed, a working coffee maker and/or microwave. Since COVID, housekeeping won't clean during your stay. That's ok, but be mindful and include extra supplies for your guests. All in all it was a good experience and we may stay here again!

Stayed here with our 2 grand children. Pool and spa were nice. Hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. Very nice setting in the tall pine trees. Williams is a fun town on Rt66. Only 60 miles from Grand Canyon. Family friendly

My family and I stayed here for our Grand Canyon visit. This is such a beautiful property, from the authentic cultural art in lobby and throughout hotel to the amazing outdoor area. Our family enjoyed the resort feel of our stay. Very respectful staff, they make you feel welcomed.

Our stay here was excellent in every respect including price. Our next night at was supposed to be a stellar hotel in Tusayan which was almost three times the price of BW was far worse than a disaster at best. Another guest was checking out next morning and he had equal complaints of my own. Could have done better a Motel 6!

We stayed for 2 nights. Only 2 towels, wash clothes for the double queen room. No hook in bathroom to hang clothes. Opening the refrigerator behind a cadinet door scrapped knuckles. A frozen yogurt was left by a previous guest, disconcerting during the virus. The Beds were extremely high and squeaked. This place was trying to be a luxury motel but failed. Internet was spotty Poor Cell Service.

Excellent location with a private driveway surrounded by Pine Trees. No Train or interstate noise. Situated close to town yet far enough away from crowds and other distractions. Onsite restaurant, heated pool and hotub. We liked the decor in the lobby with the native theme and decor. All of the Staff were super friendly.

We loved the food, the helpful/friendly staff, and the room was clean with lots of space. We will definitely be coming back to stay! This was our favorite place to have stayed during our honeymoon. The location was perfect, close to everything but also hidden away on the mountain! The whole hotel was a very warm and inviting atmosphere with great customer service. The steak we had for supper there one evening was very good and the service was great. We stayed at a number of hotels during that week and this was by far the best one hands down.

I DON'T like chain hotels. But in Williams, there's not much else. I searched for one that was reasonable as well as appeared to be comfortable. For both accounts, I chose the Best Western Plus Hotel in Williams. This is a pretty standard Hotel. It has a nice lobby going up several stories. Just off the Lobby is a small gift shop. Behind a fireplace is an eating area and off to one side a small bar. Our room was quite pleasant; a mini-suite with a King bed off to one end. It had two bed tables, a writing desk and chair and a dresser unit with TV on top. Breakfast was basic standard 'chain' hotel fare - coffee, OJ, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, fruit. The breakfast buffet area is large and well laid out. They've used their restaurant area for seating. This provides a more open area than most hotels. We were glad we stayed here. Separated by a half wall is a sofa-sleeper and ottomans. We were able to sit at these and put our feet on the ottomans. Nice room.

We stayed at this BW after spending the weekend on the strip of Las Vegas. The room was nicer than the one at a well-known strip resort. More modern, spacious and comfortable. Well-positioned for the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and Sedona.

Traveling from CA to TX. It was wonderful!! Totally private, only drive goes up around the hotel, surrounded by trees. Beautiful rooms! Didnt need to worry about Uhaul. Lots of parking. Highly recommend!!!

This was our last day on a long road trip. It was also our best stop! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the service was exceptional. We immediately took advantage of the spa which was tucked away in a lovely setting. We then headed to the bar area shortly after it opened. It was such a pleasant surprise to find a full bar and restaurant on the premises. Plenty of comfy seating and a nice view. Outdoor seating near the pool available for a warmer day. Stephanie took such awesome care of us! She was very friendly and helpful. Because of her we decided to have dinner right where we were and we were not disappointed! The food was fantastic. We couldn't quite get over what a marvelous experience this was. It appeared there might be live music but due to early departure we were unable to stay around to enjoy. Our room was nice, the bed was super comfy, nice shower, and the staff extremely helpful and kind. Many more options than a normal hotel breakfast. The fireplace was going and we really enjoyed eating our breakfast-which was actually held in the dining room! Glasses, ceramic coffee mugs, real plates, actual silverware... it was all those little touches that made everything top notch. There was even a little gift shop on site. The setting of the hotel was nestled amongst the trees. Although this is a bit older hotel, the owners have made every effort to make it as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I loved that there were two full benches in our room so that both of us could easily access our suitcases. We truly enjoyed our last night on the road! Thanks to the Best Western staff for making our last night so memorable.

This Hotel is one of my favorites. The best, Best Western breakfast of ham and eggs, then sausage and eggs on day two, with fresh biscuits and gravy. GREAT breakfast! We also got our dinner from the restaurant on night two and it was excellent! They don't do room service, but the restaurant is in the middle of the Hotel so its not a far walk from any room to get your food. Or just enjoy it in the lovely Kachina lounge. Spent two days here in February, including Super Sunday (Go Chiefs!) and I was just blown away by how much cheaper it is during winter. We were here last in July and payed 200 dollars a night, and this time, in February it was around 71 dollars a night. HIGHLY recommend visiting in winter to anyone looking to visit the Grand Canyon and keep costs down and avoid crowds. Plus the Canyon is AMAZING and more accessible in winter! Summer or winter, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in this area. This is the place!

Bedding was stained or dirty (to include the comforter under the duvet. Internet was weak (according to teenage son); bathroom needed better cleaning; no room service...had to order and pick up ourselves (restaurant closed at 9 PM); pool is seasonal, so son was disappointed this February. The in-room fridge made a loud noise, only stopping when hit. Otherwise, location set within the forest, outside of Williams (close by); lobby and gift shop (with amenities) open late; staff nice (though upon check-out mentioning the deficiencies, the person didn't seem concerned!)

The hotel is in a lovely setting. Quiet, clean, comfortable. Very pleased with the size of the king room. After staying in other hotels in Williams in the past, this is clearly my only choice in the future.

Rooms very spacious, super comfortable beds and bedding, great chair and footstool, desk and chair, refrigerator, walk-in shower, Pharmacopia citrus bath products, plenty of soft towels but the coffee in the room is like tea water. So in breakfast room, breakfast included, the coffee was no better. Almost all breakfast items mass produced including coffee. Coffee is in industrial bags that is diluted based on your selection of dark roast thru light. Oatmeal was like water, no dark breads or english muffins, lots of sugar, cut up fruit from a can, yogurt also out of machine, Did have apples. Rate states continental breakfast but email confirmation states full breakfast. Day 2 we went to Williams for breakfast. The map and information sheet provided upon check-in states and highlighted in yellow Kachina Lounge Daily Appetizer and Drink Specials. But the bartender said that is not correct so I showed him the map with the promotion. He knew nothing about it. We wanted to play cards, have a drink and just get appetizers for dinner. But we decided to go elsewhere after a drink. Bartender, young man was more interested in his phone than offering an apology for misleading advertising. Asked for more creamer for room and was not refrigerated and was curdled. Views from room beautiful. With just a little more money to have great coffee, training for staff, most of the staff super, would be 5 plus stars. Dinner was ok, salad was the best, good baked potato, fish just ok trout. All food in area is priced higher but a very small town and tourist destination.

I don't usually review chain motels, but I make an exception in this case. A staff member here went out of her way to straighten out a membership problem I had. Our room was very clean. Plus, the restaurant is remarkably good! I had a real tasty NY strip, wife had a Mexican combo plate. Can't say much exceptional about the breakfast - run of the mill. But we will not bother to look anywhere else in Williams the next time up there.

I stay short trips just for my own pleasure. When I pulled up I noticed it was snuggled in the pine trees of northern Arizona. And I thought that was beautiful Harry walking in I was greeted and there was a nice warm fireplace going. Would definitely go again.

My husband and I came to Best western so that we could visit the Grand Canyon. This hotel is absolutely amazing! It's beautiful! It is a high end hotel with economic pricing. Everything was wonderful and the breakfast was buffet style and bountiful! Thanks for the stay.

This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms are spotless and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, you feel truly welcome. We will stay at this location again and will highly recommend to friends and family.

The hotel was clean, the staff was courteous, efficient, even friendly. Breakfast was very nice and, what was extremely important to us, the hotel and it's staff were PET FRIENDLY. We were especially impressed that they had a large space where we could walk and relieve our dogs, and they had the good sense to present a station loaded with doggie bags and a place to dispose of them.

Great place to stay on our way to and from NC. The staff is always friendly and willing to help with whatever we need. Food is fresh and prepared excellently. We ate dinner in the bar and watched the snow come down. In the morning breakfast was displayed nicely and was fresh and a great selection.

This hotel has to be one of the nicest, cleanest, well run hotel we have stayed at in a long time. The price was great, however, it was in the off season. The breakfast was fresh and hot on real plates

While there are many motels & inns in Williams to choose from, I am SO glad we chose the Best Western Plus. Great service; clean, well-appointed rooms; great areas outside for walking our dogs. Perfect

It was in the evening on the Christmas day when we finally saw the sign of the hotel on both side of the road, but due to the snow earlier, our car was skidding on the uphill drive way to the hotel, I called the hotel several times but no one answered, then i called the corporate office, but the gentleman at the corporate office also could not get his call answered, however, because I reserved the hotel thru the 3rd party, he couldn't do anything to help me. Not wanting to risk our car sliding down the hilly drive way again, we decided to stay at the Days Inn just next to the Best Western Plus. Since my reservation was for 2 night, the second evening we tried to get to the hotel again, this time, 4 cars were already stuck at the beginning of the drive way due to the snow. I walked up to the hotel this time and told them about the situation, it was chaos, and i heard the general manager on the phone, telling the poor person on the other end of the phone to wait for the snowplow or call for a tow truck himself, and she did not make it snow. I can't believe the hotel management thinks it's not their responsibility to make their drive way safe for their clients. And if it snow and your car can't climb the hilly drive way, it's your own fault. The only thing that management insisted on was "no cancellation". I can't believe Best Western approves this kind of attitude, with no regard to customer's safety and terrible customer service. I will never stay at another Best Western ever again.

Stayed here 1/10/2020 on way to Grand Canyon (an hour's drive north on AZ 64). Very attractive lobby and staircase leading to second floor. Becky was very helpful at check-in to locate a local brewery. The outdoor spa was a hoot in the middle of 6 inches of snow! One of the highlights of our 10 day trip. Our king room was very spacious and well decorated-REAL glasses and mugs!!! Breakfast was exceptional! Grteat selection and all fresh. The breakfast room manager, Rafael, does an outstanding job of keeping the space replenished and clean. He is a man who very obviously takes pride in his work. Kudos for a job well, done. When we return for a visit to the area/Grand Canyon it will be here for our accomodations.

Friendly staff. Clean hotel with a Full hot continental breakfast. Close enough to downtown Williams to experience local restaurants/breweries. Beds were comfortable. Bring your own sanitizing wipes for the gym as they do not provide. I would stay here again.

My stay at this hotel started with a computer error and ended in friendship with the front lobby employee, Bekki. Bekki's customer service makes this hotel THE BEST and I would recommend staying here JUST because she is such a genuinely nice, friendly, caring and informative employee. The front lobby is very beautifully arranged, the breakfast buffet was SUPERB, and the room that I stayed at (King Suite) with my family was big and beautiful. If you're anywhere within an hour drive from this place, STAY HERE. You'll be glad you did.

The staff at the check-in counter was unenthused about being there. No friendly greeting or interaction upon arrival and she had to leave the counter to go check the room to see if it had actually been cleaned at 3:30 for a 3pm check-in time. In the room there were sprinkler covers missing from the ceiling, the fabric window valance looked like it has never been cleaned before, stains in the dust ruffles and other bed covers and water damage in the bathroom with an actual hole in the wall. The insulation and sound reduction in the building is terrible and you constantly hear people walking and talking in the halls. The towels are also some of the most course and scratchy quality available, worse than the average “mid-grade” hotel by far. Last but not least the restaurant inside the hotel Western View Steakhouse is ridiculous. There is no chance the $40 steak dinner was a cut of porterhouse. The quality for the price was very low, the sauce was awful, claiming to be a Cabernet Sauvignon & Butter reduction that looked and tasted like brown gravy out of a powder pouch mixed with water. The continental breakfast was also disappointing, it is difficult to mess up scrambled eggs, but they manage to do so. No one that works in the hotel or restaurant that we encountered seemed engaged at all in the fact they were in the hospitality industry. Overall, staying at this Best Western was a horrible waste of money and we won't be back. The town itself isn't even friendly to tour. p.s. I wish I had taken pictures of the hole in the wall, missing things from the ceiling and other things, but we were just ready to leave.

The greatest Best Western hotel ever! This place has got it totally together when it comes to friendliness, service, ambiance and making the guests feel like they are the most important people on earth. The hotel is tucked away in the pine trees a short distance from I 40. The lobby is exceptional with a large fire place. Loved the breakfast area . Live music in the lounge was another pleasant surprise.

We were looking for a place to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon for a day. It was only about an hours drive from the Grand Canyon and was our favorite place to stay on our trip across America. It is an awesome looking hotel, surrounded by trees and we just happened to have snow which was just gorgeous! They were also very accommodating to my dog Marley.

We were not intending to spend the night inWilliams after taking our grandchildren to the Polar Express, but the terrible weather had dropped excessive snow and the highways had developed black ice so we decided for safety reasons to stay in Williams. We were pleased that Best Western had vacancies.

This facility is the best hotel in the area. I also stayed at the Grand Canyon Hotel. Best Western was much more accommodating and had better amenities. If you stay in Williams, stay here. This facility completely changed my perception of Best Western. Amazing staff, clean accommodations, and enjoyable atmosphere.

great Inn greater people. so helpful with directions and advice {not a snow person} . Breakfast and dinner was very good. Just 2 minutes from downtown and Williams train depot and I guess the snow was a unexpected element {not a snow person} in he end a super trip

We arrived early evening. We were informed they had a steak house. We were not super hungry but we did have nachos. My husband also had a salad and green pork chili. He loved the chili. The meat on the nachos was excellent. The room. We had a king. It also had a couch. It is one of those rooms that makes you want to stay a few more days. The refrigerator is always a great find in a room. My husband loved breakfast. It was hot. He had biscuits gravy eggs and sausage. Pancakes, yogurt, cereal and more to choose from. I would recommend staying here. Everyone was very nice and friendly.

This was a great place to stay. Great food, location, pool and service. Gonzalo was great and helped us when our room was not ready and made sure that we were happy. He did a great job. This was a trip to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. She has battled cancer 3 times and wanted to go somewhere warm and enjoyable and thus hotel Did it all.

We traveled to Arizona for an anniversary trip. Stayed in Sedona, Mesa and Williams and this was by far the best hotel we stayed in. Super clean, great breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, staff service was excellent. Well worth what we paid. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful views!

Best Western Plus are a step up from the regular BW and this particular location is just that. Clean, woodsy nice facilities. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom has the sinks separate from the shower and toilet. The pet friendly rooms are the same quality but has no carpeting which is great for the pets. The ground are well kept. The staff was friendly and accommodating when checking in and also on the phone when changing prices and reservations. The location is close to the downtown area and far enough away to enjoy the quiet which is a nice plus. Close to grocers and restaurants. We rented three rooms and everyone was pleased with their stay and the price per night.

It is a hotel but looks more like a lodge in the woods. Its a beautiful quiet property with a friendly staff. Even the housekeepers are quiet. They serve a simple, but restaurant quality, breakfast and the best coffee you will probably taste at any hotel. It is close to the freeway but far enough to not hear the freeway noise.

Always stay at this remodeled Best Western, very quiet, great service and friendly staff. Located about one mile west of downtown but worth the time. Breakfast selection is great with attendants available. Very affordable too.

We had a wonderful experience at BWP in Williams. The hotel is very clean, the staff very helpful and the lounge was amazing. Live music at night while having an excellent dinner at the hotel restaurant. Totally recommendable!

The rooms were modern and comfortable. We especially liked the breakfast which was much better than typical motel breakfasts. There was a good variety of fresh food, hot and well maintained. Everything was very clean, the staff was friendly, efficient and helpful.

Very nice hotel. It's not far from the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, Sedona. Bearizona (a wildlife, drive-through park) is right in town. There are lakes to the south. Very good restaurants in town. The hotel has a nice lounge and restaurant..

The helpful and friendlyl atmosphere of the folks in the BW made our stay near the Grand Canyon even more special...a lovely stay in a breath taking part of the country. Thank you folks at the BW, would like to return.

Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Appreciated the coffee maker in our room. We weren't expecting anything fancy and that's okay because it met all of our needs. It was a good choice for an overnight stop. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was basic fare but sufficient.

Arrived late and very tired and so went straight to dinner before the restaurant closed for the night. The waitress was having a very long chat with some diners she knew and didn't come to serve us even when promoted by another member of staff. The breakfast was very repetitive and some variety or imagination would have been appreciated. The room was clean and quiet and the bed comfortable but this was not good value for money and staff attitudes varied somewhat. Didn't live up to reviews and our expectations really.

The hotel was large, but had the feel of a cozy and friendly lodge. The staff was very helpful and willing to answer LOTS of questions. It is a stand alone hotel a short distance from town so it felt very safe parking the car in the lot. The drive to The Grand Canyon is about 60 miles. There are some hotels closer but, much more expensive. The town of Williams has some fun shops and good restaurants (try the Pine Country Restaurant....good food and pie!!) So long!!

We loved the Best Western in Williams. It was in a great location. Located back in the trees away from the road. The employees were so nice and helpful. Our room was so nice-very clean and lots of room. We enjoyed the restaurant, bar and nightly entertainment. My husband and I both said it was by far the best Best Western we have stayed in.

We spent two nights at this hotel. It's located just off the westernmost exit of Williams, Arizona. We had a room on the backside of the hotel, and didn't hear any noise from the interstate. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was nice.

This is a wonderful hotel set back from the main drag. Our rooms faced the parking lot, but there is a lovely view of the woods. Almost everything about this place was perfect. The check-in was efficient, the staff was friendly (especially the breakfast guy), the breakfast was amazing, and the breakfast room was pleasant and had plenty of seating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a lovely pet/smoking area outside with lit-up woodland animals where you can sit and stargaze. The only reason I did not give a five-star rating to this property was due to the fact that they have live music in the lounge and it reverberates throughout the hotel. We had to get up early to go to the Grand Canyon and it was difficult to sleep with someone singing '60's favorites at 10:00 p.m. From what I could see, the lounge was not well-attended on a weeknight. If I had had children with me or furry friends that needed peace and quiet, this would have been a dealbreaker. I would suggest maybe cutting off the entertainment at a reasonable hour (maybe 9 pm?). Otherwise, this is a great hotel!

A discreet "Best Western Plus" sign leads you up a driveway to the Williams Best Western Plus that is literally hidden from Route 66, and in every other direction, by tall pine trees. This is one of the nicest physical settings for a motel that I have ever seen. The property (building and parking) sits among tall pines at a decent elevation above the highway. Inside public space - lobby, bar and restaurant - are equally impressive. The decor and furnishings are very attractive and lend to the overall quality of the property. We did not have the opportunity to dine at the on-site steakhouse, but did enjoy the free full breakfast prior to departure. The full breakfast is just that; hot scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy as well as all the other items normally associated with a continental breakfast. Very tasty by the way. Since it was October, it was a little too cool to dine outside, but there is a very attractive patio on the back side of the lobby that I imagine would be quite nice. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed and very comfortable. The wi-fi is strong and fast. No problems and an excellent visit to a real "hidden" gem. Oh, great price as well!

Arrived after a long drive from LA for the required visit to the Grand Canyon. Pleasant, well appointed Hotel in a quiet location. Decent room, clean and comfortable. Only issue was very noisy fridge! Nice bar area and we ate in the restaurant one night in addition to the breakfasts. Pool had closed for the colder months but my wife enjoyed the hot tub. Staff friendly and professional. We would certainly stay again.

We enjoyed driving up to this wonderful hotel and noticed the Fall themed decorations! As we entered the lobby we were greeted warmly by the front desk. They were most accommodating and even granted us an early check in. Our room was very comfortable and each night we slept well as it was quiet and the bed was terrific. The hotel restaurant was exceptional. Our server was friendly, helpful and remembered our names! Breakfast was more than suffice and attending staff do a marvelous job of serving everybody. Recommend this hotel highly without any hesitation!

This venue is like an alpine lodge. It has an expansive lobby, excellent restaurant and classy lounge. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Substantial furnishings showed patina in a comfortable manner. Everything was well maintained, inside and out.

Whenever we travel from Michigan to California we always stop here!! Great rooms, service, and restaurant. We found this hotel on our first trip because of the Grand canyon and they were dog friendly. Been here 1 or2 times a year for at least 3 years.

Good Hotel to stay in before entering the Grand Canyon. Rey clean and comfortable beds. Good breakfast, dinner is very expensive for the location of what they call the restaurant. So many options in town.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our road trip (3 adults and 2 young children). Although just outside Williams town it is easily accessible. The hotel was perfect, large very clean rooms with views over the pine forest. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a large selection of food for breakfast to suit all tastes. Definitely recommend.

We travel through Williams a couple of times every year. This is our favorite place to stay. A lovely setting, nice rooms, pet friendly, with very good food and drink. Someitmes they have live music in the lounge, which adds to the dining experience. The restaurant has excellent food with a range of prices. Complimentary breakfasts are better than at other hotels.

This is one of the best we've stayed at. Very clean hotel, love how it is situated off Rt. 66 away from traffic. The location is great for going to the Grand Canyon or anywhere else in the vicinity. The staff is terrific and breakfast was wonderful! Will be back again.

As a starting point for exploring the South Rim of Grand Canyon & Area Surrounding it worked Great. Restaurant and lounge at live entertainment to enjoy. Food at Dinner was excellent. Would stay here again!

We were really impressed with this hotel - it was much nicer than we expected. The ambiance is warm and inviting. Our room was quiet, comfortable and clean. The included breakfast was good - the items themselves were as expected, but were more delicious than most hotels. The surroundings were lovely. There is a restaurant on site but we were unable to take advantage. They even had live music in the lounge.

Thoroughly enjoyed this Best Western! When I return to Williams this is where I will be staying! The surounding forest was fragrent and beautiful. Because the Inn is out of towne the stars are wonderful.

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful hotel a week ago. We were pleasantly surprised by the entertainment in the lounge with the music by Omar. He is a talented guitarist and singer with a wide range of songs that totally entertained for over 2 hours while eating dinner in the lounge. We would highly recommend this fine hotel, it's quiet location, the dinner menu and top entertainment of Omar 5 nights a week.

We stayed a night at this hotel whilst on a 19 day road trip and were really impressed. Well furnished rooms and excellent amenities. There was a pool, hot tub and fire pit and it was really useful to have washing machines and tumble dryers to use on site. Good restaurant too and having a free breakfast an added bonus.

Wonderful room with a wooded view. Great grounds with the best hot tub we've ever seen at a hotel. Fire pit with seating outside the restaurant. Pool area was good, even though too cold to go in. Lounge and restaurant great service and outstanding food. Friendly service from all staff. Free breakfast in the morning. Great place to stay if you're visiting the Williams area.

The cleanlyness, staff, and dinner were fantastic, and among the best I have had. They are pet friendly, and the staff took the time to answer any questions I had about the location. Highly recomend this place if you come up for a stay!

We stayed here three nights and used this room as a base. We went to the Grand Canyon, Sedona and Williams. Great place to stay, great breakfast. Everyone was very helpful. Also have a steakhouse restaurant and lounge.

This Hotel is exceptional in all areas, food, bar, rooms, good beds, quiet and most of all the helpful front desk employees went above and beyond. We were with another couple and they had requested a lower level room close to the font desk. The front desk employee moved everything from a room on the second floor to one on the lower level while we went to dinner. Fantastic!

Yes, there are other nice hotels in Williams, but generally leaving the big cities in Arizona means fewer choices and a limited quality experience. Once you've already driven three or so hours from Phoenix (about 40 minutes from Flagstaff), you want a nice room at a decent price. Check-in was very quick, the grounds are beautiful conifer forests all around. Parking is ample. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the hotel is clean and kept up, nothing looked worn out or old. The colors seemed a bit dated and inside the particular room I was in was a combination of slightly old design with clear signs of renovation. I hadn't really wanted a demi-suite but that was all that was available by the time I was able to confirm my plans. The price was really good, and the room was huge. Two flat-panel TVs on the wall was interesting, considering there is a half-length half-wall in the room, but I suppose that prevents someone needing to turn a TV and look at it from a distance (or at an angle). The bed was huge, and the mattress was quite firm. I was worried about that (I prefer a bit softer) but I slept well. The sheets were nice and the pillows were standard, not cheap, and there were quite a few of them (see pictures). The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are really small but very, very nice. There's face soap as well, which is the same brand and scent. The fixtures in the bathroom are all newer, and a blowdryer was provided but I didn't use it. There is a small coffee bar with a hidden mini-fridge below it, empty. I didn't use it but it was cold inside, and I didn't use the coffee maker. The smaller closet (behind a regular door, unlike a larger pair of closets that might be behind a sliding door) contained hangars (wooden with a smaller hook), an ironing board and an iron, as well as spare bedding (perhaps for the couch, which may be a pull-out?) The window opens (my room was on the 2nd-floor), and has a blackout curtain and a scrim curtain. My view was primarily pine tree but the pool was visible. There's a below-window air conditioning unit which looks newer, but I did not use it as the weather was perfect, almost cold at night outside. The blackout curtain did not close completely so I held it closed with the second remote control (in a "Fresh Remote" package). As this was for one night and I hadn't checked before, I did not take the time to call maintenance to see if they could fix it. Also, the shower wasn't well-sealed so water leaked onto the floor, again I didn't notice until it was a bit late for me to ask it to be taken care of (seemed to be an installation issue rather than a maintenance issue anyway). The TV offers a really good number of free-to-watch channels, including the Phoenix OTA channels, HBO, several sports channels, and some news channels. There are pay-per-view options, which looked good but which I did not take advantage of. The WiFi was surprisingly not bad if it did occasionally drop signal. The speeds were fair, which for rural Arizona is good. The room was two rooms away from the ice machine and not near the (single) elevator at the far end of the hall. Any noise from outside would've been drowned out though by the sounds from the trees brushing up against the building and the various vent flaps flapping from the high winds - certainly not the hotel's fault but could've influenced my overall review. However, earlier I had noted that I could hear people talking in normal voices in the next room, so typical thin hotel walls. Breakfast was included in the price. On deck were the usual variety of bread and pastry offerings, cereals, juices, coffee, scrambled eggs (cooked harder than I liked but tasted like real eggs), ham (with an option for sausage but apparently not that day), biscuits and gravy (rather below par, sorry), and a machine to make pancakes (which were obviously freshly done but really did taste machine-made). Somewhat disappointing but for some reason, I always expect decent included breakfasts. Quick checkout was not available on the TV despite there being service options. All I needed to do was drop the key at the front desk and go, though, so that wasn't at all an issue. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay, very clean and comfortable, in beautiful surroundings (not too close to Route 66 or the train tracks). It's good value for the price as well, better I believe than the other "big" hotel in town that's right next to the train tracks (though that is a very nice place as well). I'd be back to this one first if I'm paying, no question.

This is our favorite Best Western. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The onsight steak house is excellent! Food and service were both great. There is even live entertainment in the steak house which we really enjoyed. The hotels location is very nice with lots of trees and good views. Yes, this is an hour drive from the hotel/lodges at the Grand Canyon, but it is worth the trip to avoid the congeston and expense of the lodgings there. This was the perfect end to our adventure exploring the majesty of The Grand Canyon.

Williams is a wonderful place to visit on Route 66 and this hotel is very relaxing with helpful and friendly staff, a good little gym, swimming pool and jacuzzi, with evening music. There is an outdoor fire pit which is nice to sit around and chat. The on-site restaurant is really nice, again with helpful and friendly staff. We tried the Porterhouse Steak one night, which was absolutely perfect and then tried the ribs the following night (after a disastrous meal in Williams centre). Unfortunately the ribs were not very good, but in all fairness to the hotel restaurant they were very helpful and compensated us for the food and were very apologetic. The service sells this hotel and the restaurant. Can thoroughly recommend.

Good over nite stay just off the freeway, easy access, rooms are clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, plenty of towel, nice walk in shower, frigde. microwave, coffee maker, had room with a view of the pool.

To be honest prior to booking, I read the reviews and thought this was superior hotel also given that the BW brand is "Plus". I then considered staying a the BW Premium in Tuyasan, but they wanted to charge a premium that was outragious. So, given the alternatives, i decided to book at this hotel. Generally speaking the hotel has good amenities and is good for short stays for travellers. The rooms are The bed was comfortable and the room spacious; however the room was somewhat dated and rather dark and gloomy. Some TLC would do wonders. We couldn't get to sleep until 1 - 2 am on our second night because of a rambling and shaking noise coming from somewhere. It sounded like a truck left on outside our room. It later seemed it was a noise emitted by the air conditioner on the top floor. Min you the noise of the air conditioner wasn't whisper quiet in our room either, but tolerable. The lounge wasnt very busy and too inviting for us to spend some time in there having a beverage. The restaurant seemed to be busy and has a decent menu but we decided to eat out in town. The breakfast was adequate - cannot ask for much! The check in receptionist was helpful and pleasant to deal with to obtian information on tours to the Grand Canyon etc. However, the receptionist at check out was't pleasant at all. The work seemed as if it was a chore. If you have a choice to stay in Tuyasan or Flagstaff, I would recommend it, but if you decide to stay in Williams this seemed to be the best alternative.

WE love to stay at this hotel on our way back from Lake Powell. WE have stayed here for a few years and it has always been a great way to end our summer vacation. The staff is always so very friendly and we never have a hard time parking with the boats, etc. See you next summer!

Room was clean and well kept. Shower had good water pressure. The breakfast was good, but there was no coffee in the lobby until breakfast was open. Was told there was coffee in the room, which there was, but my wife was looking for creamer. Overall a good stay and value.

We got 2 rooms since we were traveling with a pet. The pet friendly room is fully tiled with beautiful wood-look tile. The place was clean, rooms large and comfortable, bathrooms updated and mattresses comfortable. The hotel location is only about a mile and a half from Williams town center. WE liked that there is a restaurant and lounge on site and the breakfast included was wonderful! We plan to stay here next time we visit the Grand Canyon again!

got there before actual check in tme and they upgraded your room for free really nice place to stay located outside of town and a bit hard to find but worth the trouble nice breakfast spread I would recommend to all to stay there

great value, beautiful views, excellent staff, clean and comfortable, good restaurant, beautiful pool. we traveled all over northeastern Arizona from here. it was a very good jumping off point, especially for the Grand Canyon area. although we didn't bring our dog, it was nice to see that the hotel is dog friendly. the staff were all great and very friendly, eager to assist guests. the facilities were very nice

Hotel is nicely located a bit out of Williams, less then a 2 minute drive surrounded by trees. You do not notice the town nor the highway so a very calm and relaxed setting. The Hotel itself is in very good shape, many parts seem to be recently remodeled. The lobby looks great and inviting, rooms are looking good and well equipped. A good Best Western Plus Hotel. Breakfast was good, enough staff to keep everything filled up and clean. I very positively noticed the real cutlery, dishes and cups - not the usual paper plates and plastic cups you get every where else. I did miss the bacon. The gym was fair, some cardio machines but not a lot more. But clean, air conditioned and well maintained. We stayed there to visit the Great Canyon Nationalpark, about 1h from Williams. Williams itself is a nice little town that thrives on Route 66 and Great Canyon tourists. I found things surprisingly authentic, friendly and inviting. We did eat in town twice and both times have been very good.

Very nice hotel for this rural area. Reasonably priced Pretty good free breakfast except for the Coffee....No Bueno...yuck. Great place to stay en route to Grand Canyon. On site restaurant is expensive with lousy coffee many eating options in town of Williams that appreciate and need your business with better coffee. Nice decor and great gift shop. Staff was friendly and everyone was very nice.

Nice location. Accommodating staff. Didn't have time to enjoy the steakhouse on site but did have a chance to enjoy the jacuzzi. Great facilities. Warm showers. Great water pressure. Price was right. Breakfast included with biscuits and gravy and Swiss mix.

Perfect customer service! We love this hotel, our first & only choice when we are in Williams. Customer service is always excellent & the hotel is clean & well maintained. Location is ideal for the Grand Canyon & Bearizona. We have been several times, both with & without our dogs and have always had a great experience!

We have stayed in Williams many times at different hotels. This was by far the best experience so far! We were only in town for one night to celebrate the hubbys birthday while on our Arizona road trip. The hotel is off the beaten path a bit, up a hill amongst the pine trees. Much more quieter location than any place else we have stayed. They have a bar, steakhouse, outdoor pool and fire pit. I will review our dining experience separately. We had a wonderful room with a king bed and separate area with a couch and tv. The room had everything we needed with a comfortable bed. We will definitely return to this property on our next visit to Williams

They really are pet friendly as there is no additional pet fee! We enjoyed our stay here. The pet friendly room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and our check in/out process was quick and easy. The hotel is tucked back off the highway and surrounded by trees so it was nice and quiet. We would stay here again without hesitation.

My group stayed here for one night after staying in and visiting the Grand Canyon. It was a budget-friendly choice for our last night before our flight home from LAS. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the hotel is - small things, like the wide staircases and hallways, large breakfast buffet area, but it made a positive impression. The breakfast was standard hotel fare, with a pancake printer (as opposed to waffle maker. These are the things I like to know!). The pool and patio area seemed very nice. Given the length of our stay we didn't use them, but I walked around in the morning and it looked like a place that would be great for relaxing. I would stay here again as a convenient home base to visiting Williams and the area. We drove about 15-20 minutes to hike to the Keyhole Sink petroglyphs, a good, short activity for our morning. It looked like there was also some hiking we could have explored right from the hotel! After driving through Williams, bustling even at 9 am, I definitely preferred the quiet, slight isolation of this hotel tucked uphill and in the trees.

Staff was fantastic!! Very clean room. We were in a great location to Grand Canyon and Sedona. Restaurants were all close by. Breakfast was delicious. In house restaurant was pricey. But everything else Made our trip flawless.

I would definitely stay here again if visiting the Grand Canyon. Location was right off highway but up in the trees a ways so it was very quiet and remote. Only an hour to the Grand Canyon. Wonderful staff, food, and pool and especially the hot tub!

BW Williams is a beautiful property surrounded by trees. Everything was great, from the check-in, the room and all the comforts for our pup. There's a great outdoor pet area to walk and relax in. The breakfast buffet was hot and a great start to the day. Oh yeah, the beds were heavenly!

We spent 2 nights at the Best Western Inn of Williams in late July, when temps were in the 75 degree range. Frankly, there's not much of anything negative that I can think to say about this facility! The suite doors all use new door cards that only require you to hold the card against the reader to unlock the door. That's a giant leap forward from the widely used magnetic strip cards that you have to insert and pull back out. The hotel itself is situated on a steep hillside, surrounded by pine forest and offers the great smells of being in a pine forest, but also the clean air and serenity that comes with being so close to nature in the mountains. Many dog guests was very happy to find the large pet area adjacent to the hotel, around some patio chairs for enjoying the outdoors. The hotel has a large well appointed atrium area at the main desk, and also houses the Western View Steakhouse restaurant where we enjoyed two quality evening meals. The kitchen was a tad slow, but our server, Sergio, was very friendly and courteous. The rear portion of the restaurant serves as the breakfast hall in the mornings, and we also enjoyed our early morning meals there. This was hands-down the finest Best Western hotel I have stayed at to date. I even signed up for the BW Rewards program as a result. (If that's for you, do it at the front desk during slow hours & tie it in with your AAA account to become a 'Gold Member' for max points.) Hey - I'm an optimiser . . . It is very near to the highway to the Grand Canyon National Park, which was very convenient for us. My only caveat is to use the BW reservation system instead of the online services like Hotels.com. Their in-house pricing was 20% better than what we used & it adds to the Rewards scorecard for perks on the next trip. Also, the town of Williams itself, while small, is a very clean and friendly place. There are numerous restaurants and cafes, service stations, grocery and other other stores available. Also, you can take a railroad train ride from Williams to the Grand Canyon, which returns to Williams every afternoon. That info is online. Bottom line is that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to choose it again in the future!

Husband suggested we try the Best Western Plus. He has had good experiences. Well, this BW Plus has convinced me they are a good brand. Very clean hotel. Staff was very amendable. The kitchen and full bar were on point. We enjoyed a wonderful meal listening to the live music. Music was not too loud, and very pleasant. Slept very well.

Hadn't stayed in this facility on prior visits to Williams, but we were more than pleased to have selected it this time. It's in a very quiet location, removed from traffic noise, and our room had a very nice view of the adjoining forested area. Check-in was quick and smoothly handled, and luggage carts were available for handling our bags. Our room was spacious and immaculate, equipped with all necessary appliances, including a refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable, and we got a great night's sleep. Breakfast was markedly better than the usual motel fare, with a variety of hot and cold selections available. There's no doubt that we'll stay here again on our next visit to Williams.

There were many things we loved about staying at the Best Western Hotel in Williams, AZ. First of all, this hotel had enough personal towels for all 4 of us. Usually, we find 3 towels, and we have to ask for one more, or our kids have to share. Secondly, the beautiful and comfortable beds to relax were greatly appreciated after a long day walking the Grand Canyon. Finally, the wonderful lamp table. It had enough outlets and phone charger that, for the first time during out vacation days, we had enough phone plugs for all 4 of us. No more searching and arguing about who gets which one. I loved the table so much that I will look for one to purchase. Thank you....

The coffee in-room was horrible. We paid just under $200 per night. You would think they could provide better coffee makers in the rooms. The air conditioner was loud and constantly stuck on high. Could not adjust it to auto.

If you want to enjoy a quiet night at the gateway to the Grand Canyon, this is the property to stay. It is situated at the far east end of town in a quiet uphill area, but it is close enough to the high energy downtown area of Williams for you to enjoy all of its amenities. This is the perfect location to stay as a base for exploring northern Arizona or as your jumpoff point to visiting the Grand Canyon which is just an hour away.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Lobby is clean and welcoming. Breakfast offered was good. Room was clean and modern. We would stay again for sure. Restaurant, Kicks, is a great place to eat and within walking distance from the hotel.

This is an upscale version of a Best Western. The building and grounds are extra nice. We even had one of the few rooms that has a balcony overlooking the pool. The rooms are exceedingly clean. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be about the air-conditioner which is very loud. Nevertheless it kept us cool, and we had no trouble sleeping. Breakfast is served in what is normally a restaurant during the evenings. So you get real China, silverware, and glass glasses. But the food is the same as other best westerns. It was a nice meal. I definitely would stay again.

This hotel is excellent. It is close to the Grand Canyon National Park. The room was very nice with a very comfortable bed. The television was nice with good channels. The bathroom look like it has been recently remolded and the shower was great. It was very quiet at night. The free breakfast was super.

Very cozy, beautiful, and the feeling of relaxation. Its decor is very pretty. The have a pool, outside fireplace, hot tub: we use our key to look st int, but the gate would not open. Has a nice restaurant and lounge/bar, gift shop, weight room. It's located in a small town with plenty of other things to visit or eat if you like. Most definatly be back when passing through. It's a gold mind place to stay; the counter lady was very nice.

This place is in a gorgeous setting and the staff, food, and room were all excellent. The pool and hot tub were lovely and the patio with fire pit was such a relaxing place. The entertainment in the lounge in the evening was very professional and enjoyable. The food in the restaurant and the service were good as well. And the breakfast! Excellent - eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, breads and muffins, cereals - everything you could ask for. Web site said it didn't have an elevator, but it does, as well as a lift into the pool for the disabled.

My husband and I stayed here two nights over Memorial Day weekend while visiting the Grand Canyon. We wanted to take the Grand Canyon Railway into the park, so we opted to stay in Williams and here at the Best Western. It's on Route 66, just outside of downtown Williams which made for a quiet stay. The stay was very nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was welcoming and the room was very clean. I loved that they had so many amenities for their guests. We unfortunately didn't get to enjoy the pool or firepit as it was snowing (Crazy!) while we were there. However, we enjoyed the lounge and restaurant and we'd recommend both if you're staying. The free breakfast was good too and we were amazed by their cool pancake machines. Lol If you're planning on staying in Williams, be sure to check out this hotel. The price was great and the hotel was really very nice.

Excellent hotel. Rooms very clean. Great location on the right side of Williams. Laundry onsite was great! Breakfast basic would of preferred fresh fruit to canned but appreciated it none the less. Staff pleasant. Had dinner in the restaurant it was only ok. Servers were great however. Would 100% recommend.

The employees were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were kept clean. Family enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool and the exercise room. Breakfast was good. Rates were a little on the high side. Restaurant was very pricey and service was so so. Location was awesome. An easy drive of about 60 minutes to the Grand Canyon. This was a perfect spot for our family to stay during this vacation.

My family really enjoyed staying here. I booked it because it had a restaurant/lounge and was nearby to the town of Williams. The rooms were very clean, beds comfortable. They have a little gift shop on site, and most nights have live music around 6pm. We enjoyed the free breakfast in the mornings, lots of variety to choose from. Had two evening meals at the restaurant, and visited the Kachina Lounge every late afternoon for wine and beer, very comfortable atmosphere. We had one day of staying local, and it was warm enough to enjoy the pool! Then saw on the news, they got SNOW the very next week so we are glad we went when we did !

Overall a really great best western. Great hot breakfast. Nice hotel rooms and a great pool area with a nice view. They also have a little fire pit area which was a nice little lounging area. Great staff!!!

The hotel is on top of a hill with pretty mountain feeling and view although it is right at the street. It is just laid out well. They have a steak dinner there which we did not use because it was a bit pricey. However the breakfast was nice. Typical hotel breakfast but the people handling it made sure it was well stocked and clean. The hotel staff was great to work with. We had a hadicap room which was nicely laid out. They have music at night and we were warned the room was a bit close to the sound. We never heard it however. So no problem. It is about a 10 minute walk to the heart of town. It is next door to a gas station and a really good reastaurant called Kicks.

This Best Western went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Helpful staff, clean rooms and exceptional breakfast. Great Location for visiting the Grand Canyon and the wildlife park Bearizona.

Don't expect a posh room but I will say it was sort of a typical 80's motel type room. It was clean, spacious with 2 Queen beds and the fixtures were clean and in good shape. Don't expect the Hilton but I would stay here again and probably will. It is right on Route 66 and near the shops, restaurants and bars.

Had an enjoyable stay at this Best Western on our way to the Grand Canyon. It was a little bit outside the downtown area of Williams. We thought this was going to be troublesome for dinner, but to our delight we were there on a night when live music was featured and we had a nice, relaxing dinner, with wine, in their open, airy restaurant. In the afternoon we were able to walk around downtown Williams -- top notch Route 66 tourist town -- so not having to drive back into town and find parking at dinner was a plus. The room was lovely and fine for overnight. I was happy that there was an elevator -- which was at the end of the hall, but walking down the hall was preferable to climbing the staircase. Our room had a balcony, but it poured all evening so we didn't have a chance to sit outside. Breakfast was typical for a Best Western Plus, quite good, so we were off to a good start for the morning.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus in Williams. The room was nice, clean and had really nice matched furniture and lamps. The lighting was good in the room and bathroom. The breakfast was good. Our only issues were, first, we had an extremely loud refrigerator in our room (and we are used to refrigerator noise in these types of rooms), and, second, we found it to be a bit pricey for an overnight. It was also awkward that the only elevator is down at the far end of the hallway, away from the lobby. Still, I would say that this is a good choice for accommodations in Williams, if it fits your budget.

Enjoyed our stay at the BW Plus, room was very clean, decent size room, comfortable bed and excellent service. Offers more selection for breakfast compared to other hotels. Definitely worth the value paid.

The Inn of Williams was an oasis for us on our trip to the Grand Canyon. It is located about an hour south of the park entrance but that is exactly where we wanted to be. When we weren't at the park we still had the shops and restaurants of Williams to enjoy in addition to the wonderful fact that Williams is smack dab on the Historic Route 66. There was a very affordable gas station in the heart of Williams near the train station. We also used this hotel as our home-base to travel to Flagstaff and some of the other nearby attractions like the Meteor Crater and Walnut Canyon National Monument. The Hotel was very clean and comfortable. We rented a 2 queen-bed room. The room had everything our family of 4 needed-a mini fridge, a coffeepot (which alternated as a hot water pot for tea), a TV, room for our ice chests (a nearby ice machine to fill said chests), air conditioning, and comfy beds with generous amounts of pillows. We could hear some occasional noise from our neighbors but overall the noise level was tolerable and we were able to sleep (I don't sleep easily in hotels so that's saying something). The staff are friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast is amazing! I have a very limited diet (no grain, no gluten, no dairy) and even I had plenty to eat. They offer a buffet style full breakfast in their hotel restaurant each morning. It consists of scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage, oatmeal, cereal bar, a pancake making machine, muffins, fruit, coffee, tea, milk, and juice. The food was great! We did not sample lunch or dinner at the restaurant however as the prices were a bit high. There was also live music in the lobby near the restaurant at times and a small gift shop (limited and prices were a bit high). We stayed 3 nights total and paid about $395. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. The hotel was immaculate, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was great. We even ate at the lobby restaurant the first night of our stay and it was incredible. The food was great, they even had live music which was entertaining. It was an incredible place and I'm so glad we were able to make it a part of our trip.

The front desk staff go over and above to make your check in so easy and very helpful. Not sure where to began, check in was great. Beautiful place large pool area with fire pit . Hot tub very relaxing. You can't go wrong staying here.

Not sure why anyone could leave a bad review for this place. I travel a bit and have been to many Best Westerns. The Williams Inn has everything you need right there. I had the opportunity to take my dog with me this trip and it was a great experience. The room was amazing, clean, and very modern. I was able to order at the restaurant and they rung my room when it was done. Perfect when you have a pet and just want to eat in your room. Internet was screaming fast, best yet for me to date. Plenty of big vehicle parking, which I will remember since I transport RV's and need this. So once again, this Inn is a winner!

We stayed for two nights here on our way to the Grand Canyon. The room was spotless. The hot and cold daily breakfast (a part of your stay) was great! The hot food was not and delicious. The cold food was cold and delicious. The staff were pleasant, professional, and contributed to a nice couple of days in the road. We are both handicapped and apart from a regular toilet, everything else was perfect.

Very beautiful Inn on the outskirts of Williams. Very easy access on and off highway. Clean! Breakfast was delicious with a lot of healthy choices. Would stay here again. Beautifully decorated with great respect to the historical area.

We had a lovely couple of nights at this hotel. The rooms are reasonably priced,. Breakfast offered a wide variety of food. The swimming pool was lovely and warm and so was the jacuzzi. We would certainly highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the bar area, could look out over the pool, good service. Also enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, where we could relax after dinner, with our drinks. Resturant was nice after spending a long day at the Grand Canyon. A good variety on the menu,.

Very quiet location convenient to the Grand Canyon and just west of downtown Williams. Rooms were very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was good with very helpful staff. A real plus was real dinnerware and mugs, not paper or plastic. The coffee was the only black mark as it was a machine that produced very weak coffee, even at the bold setting. Fresh brewed would make a huge difference. This hotel has a bar and dining room which was a plus after a long day on the road! A very pleasant surprise was live music on a Thursday evening performed by a lone guitarist. We enjoyed him from the bar lounge with a very well made Keoke coffee. Special thanks to the bartender for admitting he wasn't familiar with that coffee drink, but he said he would look it up and the results were perfect!

Nice, clean hotel with generous breakfast bar. Music in the restaurant on Thur night. Great location near I 40 and newly renovated. Staff helped with quick checkin. Room cards swipe and work well. The room layout was nice with a coffee/refrigerator niche just outside the bath. Bath had a huge walkin shower, no tub. King bed in our room.

Very convenient place to spend night between Albuquerque and Los Angeles. Very nice hotel. Good Restaurant. Debbie at front desk, was very nice and accommodating. Would be a good place to stay if visiting the Grand Canyon. Had a good breakfast. Will stay there again!

Nice quiet location. Comfortable rooms. Great breakfast buffet except for the coffee machine (we prefer fresh brewed coffee to these machines that mix hot water with liquid coffee concentrate). Nice fire pit outside. Check-in and check-out was easy and staff was great.

Chose here based on reviews on TripAdvisor. We flew into Phoenix, rented a car and drove to Williams. Lovely quiet setting. Comfortable accommodations. Nice ambiance in the lounge and dining area. Great food and great locally distilled vodka. Local, interesting decor. Great customer service in all areas! Seriously! Genuinely friendly and helpful! Complementary breakfast with something for everyone. We didn't have time to use the pool,hot tub or fire pit but they were nice looking. We stayed one night then took the convenient train at Grand Canyon Railway in Williams to the Grand Canyon. The price was less scary than many other accommodations near the Grand Canyon! If we were ever in the area we would definitely want to stay here again.

on our way to the Grand Canyon, we stayed 2 nights, The rooms are nice and clean, with great linen, confortable beds, the hotel is set off the road, a bit far from the "action' of this charming town,which was a bit disappointing for me, but they have it all, steak house restaurant, bar /ounge, with live music in the lobby, nice pool, and fire pit outside, it's all good, except for the breakfast , I guess since it's included in the price ,it was disappointing , lots of choices but all tasteless and not very fresh or appetizing ,great ,friendly staff !

We have found out that Best Western always have comfortable beds and wonderful breakfast that includes waffles. A friendly gentleman came around to take your dirty dishes. True to form, the room was clean and well stocked. No complaints.

The scenery was beautiful around this hotel and the atmosphere inside was wonderful. We enjoyed the music playing in the evening (which we could not hear from our room at all) and I thought it was neat how the fire was going in the fire pit- it would have been fun to sit around it with friends and roast some marshmallows. We had a king bed with a sofa bed that pulled out into a queen. Everything was comfortable enough and we slept well. One of my kids said this hotel is a Best Western Plus PLUS because of how fancy it is and I agree- what a beautiful place and the staff was so friendly!

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Grand Canyon, which is about an hour drive from Williams. We're so happy we found this gem! Williams is a cute, quaint, small town and this Best Western Plus was a great property at a great value! We had our dog with us so we stayed in one of the pet-friendly rooms on the first floor. The room was recently renovated, with wood-like tile flooring and updated furniture, and it was very clean. The bathroom was nice with a big standing shower, but the frameless shower enclosure did not keep the water in and we ended up with quite a big puddle going into the hallway. Thank goodness for the tile floors. Once we knew that was an issue, we were more careful with the angle of the water during our subsequent showers, which helped. It was probably a contractor/vendor issue, but still thought I should mention it. We appreciated the yard area outside with poop bags and trash cans for dog walking. Free parking, wifi, and basic breakfast (which we took to our room to eat since we had the dog). The staff was friendly, easy check-in and check-out. Would definitely stay here again!

I was on a motorcycle trip and although I'm a B W Rewards member I didn't have a reservation because I didn't know I was stopping here. I received a friendly greeting on arrival. Staff quickly and efficiently found me a room close to the out door hot tub. The room was large, quiet and had a very comfortable King Bed; a walk-in shower and large TV. On checking in I was provided with a free micro fibre cloth with which to clean my motorcycle. The restaurant, with a very friendly staff, is off the lobby and provided excellent food and service. I recommend eating here. I would most certainly stay at this hotel again and recommend it to others.

We stayed here one night coming back home to California from Santa Fe. This was an amazing find. We were all tired from a long day of driving. Once we saw how beautiful the surroundings were, we got a second wind. We sat by the fire pit and took in the mountain views, then had cocktails at the bar and a really good dinner in the restaurant. There was live music - a guitar player with a catalog of over 600 songs. It was such a great night, very unexpected. It was the night before Easter, and was very quiet and not crowded. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, average with size and amenities. We were coming home from a road trip for my mother's burial service, and this night was just what we needed. Very relaxing. Both the bartender and waiter went out of their way to make our evening memorable. We will definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel as it is reasonably close to the Grand Canyon (one hour drive) and reasonably priced. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and quiet. What stood out was efforts by this hotel to be environmentally friendly ... ceramic mugs and glass cups for drinks, no straws; regular plates, bowls and cutlery for breakfast, yogurt dispenser so you can take what you want and avoid using plastic cups. In the room, shampoo and conditioner were in dispensers.

Very nice hotel - clean with beautiful furniture and amenities, a good breakfast as well with hot breakfast items and sweet treats too. The location was excellent right off the highway and only about 56 miles from the Grand Canyon. We took a day tour of the Canyon through CanyonDave'sTours. It was excellent - very informative,

Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, especially after we left and realized that my son had forgotten a bag with some souvenirs in it. We were worried it may have thrown away by mistake. What a relief when we called them about 8 hours later and were told that they had found it and were holding it for us! I had a very happy boy!

We recently stayed at the Inn of Williams Best Western for one night passing through. I was so pleasantly surprised. The rooms were very large and clean and pretty. The staff was exceptional both at check in and when I went down to ask a few questions. The beds and pillows were so comfy!! They also have a complimentary breakfast that was very good, eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and pancakes and much more. If I travel though this town again I will definitely stay there again.

Williams is a unique stop. The Williams BW is every bit as good and affordable as you can imagine. So impressed with the helpfulness of all. It was if they all had just completed a customer service/hospitality seminar. The restaurant choices and quality were great and all of the amenities were well maintained and pleasant.

Well managed Best Western. Rooms were large, clean, plenty of coffee, towels, soaps and toiletries. Breakfast was varied, healthy, food was cooked perfectly. Staff was friendly, WI-FI worked without failing. We will be back!

The weekly/winter rate was so low when I booked the hotel that I was nervous. We got there and were pleasantly surprised. It was clean, appeared to have been recently updated. Our room was nice and the bonus was a very nice restaurant in the hotel. After a day out and about (and the long drive there) it was nice to just walk down the hallway and have a nice dinner. The hotel is dog friendly and a great place to stay!

we stayed at Best Western Plus in William, Arizona. Great time, dinner, bar and breakfast. Only one hour away fro the South Rim of Grand Canyon. Will go back. Th service was outstanding. Location was very close to the town.

We had reserved two nights at this Best Western in order to travel to the Grand Canyon and Bearazona. There was lingering snow around in places and the hotel sets back off roadway by the forest. The breakfast is substantial but basically the same items each morning. Our room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. The fire pit outside the restaurant was lovely. We decided to stay a third night so we could explore around Williams. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. One of the nicest Best Western Hotels we've stayed in. It is also pet friendly.

Okay, so we checked in late at night and got our room. As anyone who has read any of my other reviews know, I am super picky on cleanliness. This room was actually really clean! The heater worked and there was a great view of the forest the hotel is nestled near. One of the biggest reasons I picked this hotel was that it had free breakfast. Boy, let me tell you, they did not disappoint! Bagels, pancakes, french toast, sausage, eggs, bacon, fruit, pastries, juice, milk, cereal, soda, and coffee, and a very large dining room to eat it in. Staff were courteous and polite when I stayed there. I would recommend this to someone who wanted to see Williams or Bearizona.

Nice enough. We did a one night stop over through town. It was pricey thou.gh for quality of property. With $25 pet fee and tax total was $154 and that was with senior discount. We'd stay here again though. It is in a really nice location.

first was not greeted as Rewards member by any of the four woman talking when I checked in, sorry for interrupting, room was ready and when I asked about express check out was told bill would be under door, which morning check out proved to be wrong, had to find location but that was a good thing, poor cable choices, shades had hole in them and didn't shut all the way, room was clean and furniture dated-read old, with patina. please have staff on same page for answers, as they conflicted and really who wants to be greeted by a group of woman talking and you feel like you interrrupted

Very very good experience with Best Western Plus in Williams. Would not hesitate to stay at this location again. Only issue that I had was with the WiFi in that it would not work. Turned over and fell sound asleep in the comfy bed.

This hotel is only about an hour from the Grand Canyon and is right off I40. The breakfast was better than most hotels. I liked the idea of real plates and silverware (less waste). Lounge and restaurant were nice and it has a very large hot tub. I also believe everything had just been updated. Very nice.

Very clean. Large rooms. No bath tub. We had a balcony with a nice view. They do have an elevator. We stayed in March before going to the Grand Canyon which is about an hour away. The pool was closed, but the outside hot tub was opened. We thought it was nice that there was a bar and restaurant right there, but went into Williams instead. Check out the Sultana bar and the surrounding blocks. Interesting. The railroad to Grand Canyon goes from Williams.

Forty-one inches snow (in one day) in Flagstaff caused us to pull over in Williams, where we were stranded for two days. Even though we were just 60 miles from our condo in Sedona, we couldn't get to it. Luckily, we chose to stay at Best Western Plus. We ended up loving every minute of our time there. The hotel has a grand feeling about it, with its mountain views (from the restaurant, bar, and living areas), its wide staircase, its beautiful design, its well-equipped gym, and its roomy suites (which housed the four of us very easily). The free breakfast food was better than what is offered by most hotels, and the dinner was excellent. All the restaurants nearby were closed due to the storm, so we were grateful for a hotel with a restaurant. We spent time playing cards in the large living room and enjoyed the view. The employees were courteous and responsible. They had the snowblowers running all throughout the storm (as the snow kept falling), so we could walk around the property and so people could park safely. We were able to hang out in the outdoor jacuzzi while the snow fell on our faces, because the employee uncovered the timer and a path for us. It was fun. When it was time to finally leave, the maintenance man helped clean a path for our car and loaned us an ice scraper. The front desk employees were extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. They kept us updated about travel conditions regularly. We hiked around the surrounding areas and were shocked by the beauty. What a great location! I had never thought of stopping there before. There are hiking trails in the area, but we, of course, couldn't access them during the storm. We are anxious to visit again and explore the Route 66 historical sites and do some hiking.

I cant say enough about our stay at the Williams Best Western. The staff, the restaurant, The service and entertainment by Omar are exceptional. We have stayed here 3 times when we are visiting the Grand Canyon and the reason is because of the above. You meet so many people from all over the world but we meet a couple from Fresno and they were on there way to St.Louis, they were tired so they decided to spend a night here. They asked if we have stayed here, we said our first choice. They stayed, wow, what a find. the service, restaurant and Omar the entertainment was amazing.. There are alot of people that stay at the Canyon hotel, way to noisy with train noise. I highly recommend staying here.

We had to change our plans due to increasing inclement weather. The staff accommodated our last minute need for lodging. They went out of their way to help us. The property was clean, very nicely decorated, hadextremely helpful staff, freeway accessible . HIGHLY recommended this hotel.

Driving from Vegas we booked this property in Williams as an early start to the Grand Canyon. Value for money was exceptional! The rooms were spacious and perfectly clean. A heater worked well in the room as it was snowy outside. Loads of fresh towels. Parking was plentiful and it is a short drive into this lovely town (I definitely recommend Rod's Steak House for dinner!) Breakfast was included and was alright...fairly typical fare but not terrible at all. Actually, the eggs were really good! Overall an excellent property to consider!!!!!!

We had a long drive from Silver Springs, Colorado and pushed on to Williams, AZ where i knew there was a BW Plus on US 40. We were late arrivals and were surprised to find that this BW had been remodeled and recently installed new carpet. This is why my first choice to stay for the night is a BW. The BW chain has a high standard and I have not been disappointed. Definitely a good value.The BW Plus at Williams, AZ is a great place to stay. I have stayed there before and had a great experience. It is quiet and the staff are very friendly. Wew were pulling a trailer this time and there was plenty of room to park the extended vehicle length. The breakfast layout was great. Excellent selection! I realize that January may be a slow month after the holidays, but being late arrivals we were expecting to relax in the lounge. The bartender announced that he had to close at 8:30 PM at management direction. I have responded to the BW survey and recommend that the lounge stay open until 10:00 PM. Rooms were very clean with amenities, even a bath mat for the bath/shower. Overall, it was a great stay.

We have been on the road for 14 days staying at Best Western Hotels. This hotel is absolutely the best Best Western Hotel I have ever stayed in. Very clean, very nice reception, nice restaurant, bar, pool, the breakfast is the best ever. I felt like I was at a resort. The location is excellent, quiet & peaceful. I will return anytime I am in the area, I highly recommend it.

What a beautiful location and facility right by the town of Williams, AZ. A super nice hotel with great decor and furnishings. The restaurant in the hotel was outstanding with great specials. All Best Westerns have been great, but this one added real dishes, cups, and glasses in the room and for the breakfast. The room was comfortable as was the bed. It was the best one yet and we stay only as Best Western motels.

Just off main rd, so a quiet location. Good for visits to Grand Canyon, Flagstaff and Sedona all about 90mins away. Helpful front desk. Spa and exercise amenities (pool closed for winter). Breakfast/dining area well appointed. Breakfast menu typical of BW, but it is included. Be careful of other main rd accommodations that are more like motels and look a bit sketchy, Our room was on ground floor adjacent to parking lot. Little car noise because it was the winter slow season. In high season it may be better to rent a back or second story room (may have a higher rate). Would book here again.

Little snow storm, but did not stop park personnel from picking people up at hotel for Grand Canyon tour. Great location! Great off season pricing. Would gladly stay here again. Just without the snow!

We went to the polar express and decided to stay here overnight. The staff was friendly, efficient. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was the usual fare however it was fresh consistently replenished and varied enough that everyone was happy. They have a pancake grill instead of a waffle iron. That was my daughters only complaint but I found it didn't matter to me or my grandkids. It snowed overnight. I mention this because when we checked in it wasn't much at all but when we woke up it was a winter wonderland. The kids had fun right on the property we didn't have to go anywhere and the hotel is so efficient that as soon as they could they had the snow plow out there. This kept the road in and out clear. It was a very pleasant stay. My family and I would definitely come back here next time we are in town.

We made reservations far in advance so we were surprised to find out we were on the same wing as animals and right next door to dogs that would not stop barking. We also have allergies to dogs. Only after we contacted front desk 3 times did we get moved and that turned out to be next to a toddler who would cry and scream all night. we where promised 1/2 off for our stay for the inconvenience. Upon check out only a portion was discounted. Hotel was clean and the food was good but front desk was disappointing

Has I have side before on reviews for hotels, it is typically only where I lay my head, shower, and eat - so those are the things I look at. The bed was decent, nothing high end, but it could be slept on. The shower had very low pressure, making it hard to get soap off of you. The food was good - at our stay they offered - eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, and pancakes (tasted like they had a flavor, not plain) - in addition to toast, muffins, fruit, yogurt, and cereal. On a side note - it was confusing to access...if listening to Garmin - we ended up passing it and having to turn around.

Rooms were nice. Convenient restaurant and bar on site. Steakhouse food was good and plentiful and wait staff were pleasant. The Kachina lounge was cozy and featured a few local beers. The bartender did a great job handling the volume and had a great demeanor. Will definitely return for a Grand Canyon trip at a warmer time of year.

Being in such small city like Williams AZ I can imagine why this hotel is ranked so high among the other hotels. But this hotel only offered two small beds to stay for two nights. The toilet seat was even too small to fit the toilet bowl and the hotel is dated. It was just a OK stay.

We had a great night there, love the bar, restaurant, fire pit outside and the musical entertainment. The room was clean and nice no complaints there. Great location and close enough to town. We recommend this hotel if you're visiting Williams AZ.

We love Best Western Plus Inn of Williams. It is close to town, but not right in it. The grounds of the hotel and the hillside behind the hotel had snow on ground which we and our granddaughter really enjoyed. We took our granddaughter to the Polar Express and the Bearizona. Our entire stay was wonderful. We also liked the breakfast. Everything was very good. This was our fourth stay at this hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed the view and stay at this BW. Was quiet and the view looking out from the lounge area was very relaxing with the snow on the ground. Service was quick and staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Thank you!

This isnt your typical redroof inn. You will love it if hate it depending on your taste. I stayed here driving back to vegas and had a enjoyable stay. Pros: It is easy to get to and seems to be near some tourist stuff if you are there for that reason. Has a very nice wooded area to relax or chill with your dog. Very safe and walkable location. Nutral/Cons: Its very old. They keep the bathroom window open and when you walk in there are tons of gnats on the wall near window. Breakfast is at a connecting restaurant that isnt really cheap, great food though. AC unit not central air. Bathroom only has a window to air out. Some rooms are a little elevated so if you plan on walking be aware if you have health issues. Overall: If you dont mind how quirky it is, it's worth a stay.

Staff is courteous. Breakfast was always hot and fresh. Hotel is about 1 mile (or less) away from the town. Very clean and up to date rooms. In November, the town has lighting which is a must to see. Restaurants are quite good.

Our stay was awesome, The front desk staff were very helpful. Hotel is about a mile from Polar Express. And after an evening of snow the parking lot was plowed so we could get our cars out!Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I were headed to Las Vegas for our son's wedding and stopped here for the night on the way. The room was comfortable and good for a one night stay. The breakfast was good with pancakes available along with scrambled eggs and sausage, etc. The dining room was very nice with a nice view. Staff was nice and helpful. Tried to stay here on the way back, but the rooms were too expensive.

Great hotel with good prices. If you are bringing kids to experience the Polar Express, make sure you eat before arriving as they have a beautiful restaurant inside the Best Western, but it was quite pricey. The breakfast, the rooms, the amenities, and the staff are friendly and are there working for your stay to be as nice as it can.

What a treat after a long day on the road. Check in was speedy, the setting was lovely, and my room was well appointed. I do wish the room had a microwave, though—I had planned to heat up a simple dinner because I was too wiped to go out.

Clean, big king room, nice big bathroom. Great breakfast with real plates and lots of places to sit and eat. Lots of outlets for charging phones etc. Real soap, shampoo and conditioner provided too. Comfy bed. When we checked in the staff told us about the Christmas parade that evening. We would have never known about it.

We were driving from LA to the Grand Canyon and wanted somewhere to stay overnight. This hotel is about an hours drive from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We initially planned to stay closer to the Grand Canyon but felt quite tired so decided to book here last minute. This hotel is very clean and in a great location with free parking. The rooms are all recently refurbished and new carpet was being fitted in the lobby during our stay. We had a very spacious room at a very reasonable price! Super clean with a nice firm mattress. Unfortunately we did not get to use the hotel facilities or have breakfast as we were in a rush to leave. I would highly recommend this for a stop off point on the way to the Grand Canyon, it's approximately half the price of the hotels in the National Park!

I can't wait to return and simply enjoy this hidden treasure. It hosts a great restaurant, gift shop, and weekend entertainment. Hidden in the pines, a real find. I could see booking this for 3-4 days simply to relax and unwind - though it's not a spa. The city of Williams is yet to be explored by us. Next time we'll do that.

I really wanted to love this hotel. Most of the reviews were great so I chose this over a package deal for the Polar Express. I regret that decision now. When arriving we were excited. The hotel is in the middle of many beautiful trees and just outside of town. Check in was quick. The room was decent size but there was rust in the shower. We were warned that they were replacing carpets throughout the hotel but they would be done with ours by the next day. Well, they weren't. We had spent 2 days traveling with 3 littles and had planned to have Sunday be our rest day before our train ride. Our children were woken up several times by the loud banging of the carpet installers who also gave us dirty looks whenever we tried to leave our room. Finally at about 4 pm on our 2nd day there they told us that they needed our door to be open so they could finish the carpet. I had an exhausted 1 year old who we had to hold during this time. At that I had had enough. I went and talked to the front desk and told her my issues. She did offer us a new room but we had to leave less than an hour later and we're checking out the next morning. She then told me they would compensate me for our troubles. They credited is $49 which isn't even what the rooms were going for online. That is my last point. DON'T book in advance! We booked our room months in advance. When I got to the hotel, I couldn't remember the amenities so pulled up their site. Their rooms were going for $40 less a night last minute than the rate I got months in advance! Ridiculous! We plan to visit Williams yearly and I can assure you we will never be back.

This Best Western is definitely a Plus! The rooms are spacious with an additional bar-height counter. The breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room - the serving area is separate from the eating area and the dishes/cups/utensils are nice - not plastic/paper.

We visited on 11/13/18 .. in spite of the hotel having new carpets laid throughout the hotel, our visit went smoothly and this did not take away from the hotel itself. As before, all was perfect.. the breakfast area was large, clean and offered many of the usual fare. We would recommend this property highly - and, another bonus is the setting, among the tall Ponderosa pines, and very quiet.

Pleasant stay. If you are into health and fitness, the breakfast buffet does not qualify though. Did not eat anything from the buffet. Best Western Plus would do their clientele a favor by offering healthy, organic choices for a variety of diets.

Woman working the night shift front desk was rude, the bed sheets were dirty, house keeping never came to clean the room, many outlets in the room didn't work. I regret choosing this hotel and will not be staying at another best western.

We stayed here one night on our route 66 road trip. No reservation, decided last minute and was give a very nice King room with a reasonable price. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they have a restaurant on site but we chose to eat in town. The hot breakfast the next morning was very satisfying. My husband used the hot tub but not the pool and it was just fine. We seldom have a bad stay at a best western plus and this was one more great experience. It sneaks up on you if you are traveling East off the freeway, is a bit hidden in the woods, but not a far drive into town and very quiet area. Would recommend if in the area, and Williams is a cute little town.

I have stayed here numerous time in the past and will continue to stay there. It is a well managed hotel, beds are comfortable, the rooms are neat, breakfast is tasty, and the staff is professional. Wonderful place.

Recently spent 3 Great nights at Best Western Plus Inn Of Williams. These were the Best Nights of my recent 10 day trip to the Western of the U.S. I was wishing that the other 7 nights could have been at the Best Western Plus Inn of Williams. This is a First Class Hotel!!

We made last minute reservation from the car on the way to Sedona from Las Vegas. Randomly picked a Best Western after a 5 hour flight, three hours driving and a quick glance at Trip Advisor. First impression: Welcoming Lobby with lit fireplace. A friendly (and sincere, I might add) greeting from desk clerk. Told us the restaurant would be closing at 9pm (it was 837pm), however, if we were hungry and wanted to drop our bags in the room, they'd be happy to make something for us. Room: VERY clean. Updated, modern sleek design. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The usual Best Western fare with a more comfortable feel. (I've experienced the same food that was put out in a very “assembly line” fashion where I felt like a number.) The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Already starred in my calendar for a return visit!!

Overall great experience.......Location was easy access to/from I40 and to Hwy 89A to the Grand Canyon. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were large, quiet, and beautifully furnished. Be sure to dine at he restaurant....quite elegant with great food and service..

We stayed here for just one night and in hindsight would have preferred staying here than moving on to Flagstaff after a day at the Grand Canyon. The room was clean, well appointed and modern enough. No noise issues or any other problems. Comfortable beds, good TV and internet service. I looked at changing our reservations on line a week before our arrival and noticed that if I had of the price would have been a lot higher. So that tells me I was smart to book a month and a half in advance of our trip. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of sitting.

My daughter and I were driving cross-country to her new job. We had her dog with us. The hotel welcomed the three of us. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a very good restaurant/steak house on premise. Staff was very professional and friendly. They were having a kids Halloween costume party. Definitely worth the stop.

This hotel/motel has everything including coffee service in the room, quiet rooms with comfortable beds and a restraurant and bar. You can do nothing or something depending on the mood of your group/companions. Great hotel close to Grand Canyon and other attractions.

Excellent motel with a very reasonable price. It had everything that you want, comfortable beds, bar, restaurant,music, gift shop, bonfire and the friendliest staff and a great breakfast included. It was beautiful inside and fully decorated for fall. Definately come back here.

This hotel last as an unexpected pleasure. The hotel was beautiful. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The devor was beautiful. The breakfast was great. We would definitely stay here again.

When ever I travel into or through Northern Arizona, the Best Western Plus of Williams is the place I stay. The lounge is top shelf, the breakfast is always fresh, and the beds give a great nights sleep after putting in 400 miles of driving

We spent 2 nights with our small dogs. Other people with dogs, their dogs barked non stop. Walking down the hallway, you could here the dogs barking. Laminate floor in room. Clean, bed was comfortable, ac/heat didn't work very well. No bath tub, shower only. Limited decor. WiFi was a little slow. Restaurant on site, slightly expensive. Breakfast was okay, not great. Staff was very nice. Gift shop had quite a few cute things.

Lovely, quite place to stay, just a short way out of town. If you are looking for something quiet, this is the place. Free parking, breakfast, and WI-FI. The bed was very comfortable. There is also a swimming pool and spa available. Town is just a short drive away.

This property is easily accessible from I-40, and there is lots of parking. We have been here in the Spring and in the Fall and this property is always great. We had an excellent room. We had great service during our stay and we really enjoyed the singer in the lounge.

We spent three nights here to explore the Grand canyon, Route 66 and the Kaibab national forest. This hotel is not in town, you have to drive about 2 miles to get to the town of Williams. This hotel is snuggle in the forest, which makes it nicer, Please is very clean and staff friendly. Again, no microwave in room. Not really sure the rhythm or reason for this decision among the best western chain. The only thing that i can say bad about this place. They do have a decent hot breakfast, we used the hot tub several times , its very nice!! the jets will drill a hole in your back, great relief after hiking all day! They have a nice pool but we didn't use it. We did enjoy the fire pit they have outback, meant up with other hotel guest. My wife said i had a good time ;-) . Our room was by the ice machine and the guest washer. It was a nosier area of the hotel. Our hotel room on the second floor partially opened to get some fresh mountain air. They do have on site restaurants and a cocktail lounge we didn't eat at. Looked kind of overpriced. We ate at Historic brewing company in town, its worth a try if you like craft beers. I have a review of it here. Overall great place to stay and would stay here again!

This place was such a nice surprise. I chose it out of the AAA book and I'm glad I did. The place is just off the freeway but as you drive up, you are suddenly in the forest. The owner had a collection of Hopi Kachina Dolls in the hallways instead of painting. The lounge has life size dolls.

I would reccomend Best Western Plus of Williams, Arizona to any of my friends and family who are looking for a place to stay. My husband and I came to see the Grand Canyon and a host of other hot spots in the area. It was very close by the Canyon and close to other main attractions. Maybe a few minutes to an hour or so depending on where you would like to go. This hotel was clean, comfortable, had a nice walk in closet, a nice place to wash clothes, a fabulous restaurant for dinner, a cocktail lounge, a local artist singing, a back porch area with a fire pit to enjoy at night, a hot tub, and a gorgeous swimming pool. The breakfast has a pan cake machine and the hotel has such a southwest, local flare with some of the nicest people you'll ever meet working there! It was so worth it!

Friendly staff, good accomodations but just didn't realize it was not close enough to town to walk. Otherwise had a comfortable room that was fine. Still was a decent choice for the trip we took. Would consider again.

Less than a mile from downtown Williams, this beautiful motel nestled in the woods above Williams is the perfect place to stay if you want to experience the Grand Canyon and Route 66! You're far enough away from the traffic noise, but close enough to where you can get to the main shops and train depot within a couple of minutes' drive!

I stayed at 4 BW+ properties over a 10 day road trip and this was my favorite location. It is a bit outside of town, but with the delicious restaurant on site, this was not a negative. The room was modern, comfortable, spacious and clean. The lobby was split by a fireplace that led to the restaurant and adjacent bar. I had a delicious steak dinner at the restaurant while listening to a singer performing cover versions of popular tunes. Service was casually attentive and friendly. Plenty of breakfast choices and seating availability.

This was our first stop after leaving Ca with our cats and a extra car in tow. Was also the best. Cats did great. Took 2 trys to get a spot for our trailer and car. Beds were the best heree, my bad back actually did well here.

We stayed for one night with two adults and two kids on our way to the Grand Canyon. The hotel was clean and all employees we encountered were polite. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious enough. Breakfast was typical eggs, pancakes, oatmeal as well muffins and fruit. Parking was easy and close, and the hotel was only a minute or two from the adorable town of Williams as well as a minute or two from the interstate. Would have been a perfect stay had we not had to listen to a rattling hum sound from outside our window all night...Sounded like it was coming from the hotel's air conditioner units or something of that nature. We put a white noise app on our iPad all night long to try and drown out the noise.

We enjoyed staying here. The room was large & very clean. it was modern with plenty of electrical & USB outlets to satisfy our video camera, phone, laptop & tablet needs. Breakfast is included & is the typical well featured Best Western breakfast with plenty of seating in the restaurant's dining room. There is nightly entertainment n the lounge. Sleeping here was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable.

Great place to stay outside Grand Canyon. About an hour to the canyon. Rooms are great, shop in store is convenient with good prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside is no microwave for use. Had leftovers we wanted to heat up and you are not allowed to use the microwave until 10 pm after the restaurant closes. Other than that I would give it 5 stars. Free included breakfast is perfect as well with hot and cold food. I would definitely recommend staying here.

But, we have just not been able to get rid of the smells that they create with the different foods from around the world. We hope that on a return visit that you would stay with us again? We were staying in Williams for a few days to see the Grand Canyon and explore Route 66. This was such a great hotel. The rooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly. The buffet for breakfast was great including biscuits and gravy, eggs, pancakes, cereal and more. The hotel is just off an interstate exit, but tucked up behind the trees on a hill. So it feels quiet and secluded like a resort. There's a gas station right next to the driveway that goes to the hotel, which is very convenient. And it's just a minute or two to all the action of downtown Williams. There's also a restaurant in the hotel that's great for dinner if you don't feel like going out. We'd definitely choose this hotel again on future visits to Williams.

This hotel helped make our trip to the Grand Canyon a success. The staff is helpful. There is a restaurant and lounge on premise. This is a huge convenience after a long day exploring the Grand Canyon. The food was really good too. Try the shrimp wrapped in bacon!

My family and I enjoyed our one night here. The inside of the hotel was amazing! The breakfast had an abundant variety of delicious food. We were only one hour from the Grand Canyon. Great place to stay.

We were in and out. We did not have time to use any of the amenities. What I can say, the room was new and clean. We arrived at 5 pm and check in was fast. We went out to eat and when we came back we could hear music in the hallway on the floor our room was located. The music was coming from the dining room a level below. We planned to head to sleep early as we were leaving at 4:30 in the morning, we thought the music would keep us up; no worries upon entering our room we discovered the room was sound proof to the noise. We would return.

Very nice hotel in a great quiet location. Will definitely stay again. The rooms were clean as usual with most best western hotels and all of the staff were very friendly. Overall great experience here

We were disappointed with the food, we were hungry and chosen the Steakhouse based on the great ratings. The waitress was very nice and sweet but that didn't make up for the food. The steak was not worth the money. We had stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the accommodation and hotel was lovely.

We stayed two nights at the hotel on a visit to the Grand Canyon. The people at the front desk were friendly, the breakfast buffet was very good, the room was clean and featured comfortable beds.. The hotel sits on top of a small hill and there is a walking path through the Ponderosa Pine forest behind the inn. Mosquitoes were a problem in the short distance I traveled while killing time while my family was getting ready. The restaurant inside the hotel costs a bit for a family but we would have tried it, based on the reviews of others, had we not been with kids. I heard that the pool was chilly but didn't have first hand knowledge. The fire pit is nice until they turn it off at 10pm and the mosquitoes come out of hiding. All in all, a great place and a reasonable rate.

This hotel was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Staff was extremely friendly but night staff needs to be better trained on amenities; inquired about hotel shuttle to take downtown, staff indicated they did and would schedule in the morning for us. Hotel does not have shuttle, and after some confusion called a taxi. Breakfast supplied was good, nothing special (no meat). Overall the room was very comfortable and received a great nights sleep.

Thr Grand Canyon Railway and the Buffet were wonderful, the Hotel itself needs staff retraining. Front desk was not friendly or personable. An hour after I departed, tried to contact someone to report that I left my expensive camera charger in room. It was impossible to reach anyone. Days later, after calling many, many times, I was blown off. Thieves among the staff!!! Hope the housekeeping staff is enjoying the charger,,, it was new. My fault for forgetting, your fault for hiring thieves!

First I must say that the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had a unique view and it was in the woods BUT it just wasn't what I expected from reading the reviews. The hotel is older but has been remodeled but it still seemed old and I could hear people in the next room and a dog barking. So overall it was just OK.

This hotel is really beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and very comfortable. I fell in love with our room.And the prices are good toolIt is definitely a hotel I would stay in if I am in the area again.

Great hotel, and employees. Pet and family friendly. Has everything you could need to keep everyone happy without having to go into Williams. Love the town but sometimes just need R&R. Grand daughter and great grandson loved the pool and spa. Hubby and I enjoyed the entertainment that we could dance to. The food is outstanding and the bar well stocked. Stayed here twice -- going and coming back from our trip. Staff was excellent. Very helpful and eager to answer all our questions. Restaurant was very nice to have after a long day on the road. Not necessary to get back in the car to find a place to eat. The morning breakfast was very good, as well. Our only complaint was that there was only one elevator and the walk to reach it was long and inconvenient when pushing a luggage cart. Would stay here again.

Always a pleasure visiting this Best Western Plus. It's my opinion this is one of the best. They are in the process of updating and remodeling without interruption to the customer. Great staff and friendly. Clean. Good breakfast. Close to downtown Williams

In Williams I expected an ordinary hotel, nothing to speak of: Clean room nice bed. This hotel is Pet Friendly and super nice. The views were to amazing. And the price was comprable to other less nice hotels in the same town. That was an added bonus.

We stopped by for night to our way to Grand Canyon and what a pick it's excellent place amazing find in Williams. Only one thing is they need second elevator at other end or center of hotel but it okay for going to room with out luggage but with luggage if your room is on other side then it's little difficult. But otherwise staff, room service, rooms and breakfast is great I will give them 5 stars

Just had dinner at the Williams Best Western Steakhouse. Wonderful. Beginning with Esteban, the host, to Sergio, our waiter, we couldn't have asked for a better staff. Though we we were traditonal for our choices of entree, steak, the sides were unique and exceptional. Had Ranchero beans, Jalepenos with brown sugar, green beans with onions and bacon. Total homerun. We were were celebrating our 28th anniversary and were very pleased. It is definitely worth the drive to the west side of town for dinner. Glad we made the trip.

On the corner of Historic Route 66 and a big highway, 5 minutes from the city this Plus hotel offers swimming pool, bar and breakfast. But the village of Williams is the place to be! Condensed history!

We told the front desk but they didnt seem interested in the the condition of the hot tub. Fortunately Room was clean and nice. Quite a trek to town and the hotel restaurant is not open for lunch. Pool ok but cool.

Very private yet close to All that Williams has to offer. The restaurant serves great food, but you might want to share a meal, for it gives you large portions. Staff goes out of their way to help you.

We took our 2 grandsons visiting from Idaho to this hotel to stay overnight before a visit to Bearizona. The room was great, the pool and spa were easily accessible. Staff was very accommodating. We left one of the grandson's pillows behind and was very relieved when we came back a few hours later and they had set it aside in case we came back. The breakfast was great. All the staff was friendly and patient. No one seemed stressed.

Perfect stop to visit grand canyon south rim. Many things to do in my new favorite little town. This hotel was beautiful, quiet, edge of town but close to everything gift shop too! The pool area was surrounded by tall pines. Looks like they have live music in the lobbyat times.

I have never ever stayed in a place I love more than this one! Was our anniversary and just the entire stay was wonderful. Had the lamb chops which was heavenly and wine then the room...so quiet and oeaceful..Servoce and Hospitality the Best ever! We will be coming back soon for another anniversary trip. Cant wait to stay here again!

This was a clean and welcoming place to stay. The personnel were friendly and gave us good advice on visiting the Grand Canyon. We would recommend this hotel and would stay again. The Breakfast was also tasty.

Had to go to Flagstaff for a doctor's appointment and decided to go to Williams for the weekend,this hotel is amazing 2 floors but there is 1 elevator at the far end(looks like it was added on to be disability compliant) the bed we had was amazing one of the best sleeps I have had in a hotel. They have a very good breakfast, the usual, eggs, sausage or ham, cereal and small Danish, now they did not have a waffle maker like most places, instead they had 2 pancake makers, and all you have to do is push a button and the pancakes were great. The rooms on the second floor were very quiet, the decor is really cool especially if you are into kachina's they are everywhere. They was very friendly- every time we saw a employee whether it was the maintenance guy or one of the housekeepers they would always great us, the rooms were clean, just wish they had microwaves in the rooms, that would be an added bonus, sometimes we get muscle cramps in our legs and I always pack some heating bags when we go on trips. Other than that everything was perfect- would love to stay here a again!

be careful when you book for 3 people they can offer you a couch bed with an alcatraz mattress for which you need the day after a massage theraphy. you have to request beds and not couch at least the pay you the massage later. no value for money.

We stayed for two nights with our 13 year old grandchild. Room was clean and adequate for our needs, and location was in a beautiful woodsy setting, close to the nearby train to Grand Canyon but far enough away from all the touristy stuff in town. I gave this hotel 3 stars instead of 4 mostly for the breakfast experience. Food was typical unhealthy American — no fresh fruit to be found other than apples, the eggs taste either powdered or like they come from an industrial carton, oatmeal was watery, everything else was your basic sugar/carb overload. I would say eat breakfast in town but the sad thing is you won't find much better — it's your basic diner fare. They should make it an option to forgo breakfast for a cheaper rate. Other than that we had a nice stay.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the experience at this particular Western Hotel. They have an active pool area with a fire pit. So having cocktails by this fire with some friends amongst the trees is very peaceful extremely enjoyable. We definitely recommend staying here if you happen to be in the area.

First off the room was very large with 3 seater sofa bed as well the king size bed, it was clean and tidy. The bathroom for a disabled person needs improvement. The showere is walk in only one vertical handrail and is walk in only and no seat in shower. The toilet is low level no handrail so you need to be mobile. I am lower leg amputee and reasonably mobile so I coped. Not recomended for wheelchair users. There is a restaurant, pool and spa

Clean, cozy and good wifi. But the issue cane across when I realized there was nothing I could eat from the breakfast buffet. I requested a diary free eggs, but they denied it “its liquid, so we need to put butter in them”, also no gluten free cereal/bread! Curiosly, the next day, a sign appeared in the dining area: “Gluten free items upon request” They don't have a clue of what to do. Just in case, Im not staying here anymore.

We stay here every time we go to Williams to golf at Elephant Rocks or take the train to the Grand Canyon. Great place to stay for the price. Love the bright lights in the bathroom for doing my makeup. Only two stories and they even have an elevator now.

Stayed for 2 nights while visiting the Grand Canyon. It has a swimming pool our grand daughter loved plus a restaurant and bar and snack shack. Beautiful entrance with a beautiful fireplace in center. Only one mile from Williams shocks part of Route 66. Highly recommend.

We had a multi-night stay this summer and really enjoyed this place. First of all it is set off the highway on the edge of a forest, there are even trails from the parking lot into the trees. We heard no traffic noise. Check-in was uneventful and they were able to accommodate our early arrival. The lobby, restaurant, lounge area is spacious and the floor to ceiling windows offer light and views of the surroundings, all very nice. We were glad they had an elevator as my husband walks with a cane. It is on the north west (?) end of the building, so if you need it, Request a room in that wing. They also have luggage carts available, which we appreciated. Our room and bathroom were spacious and we appreciated the easy chair with an ottoman. Spotless every day! Housekeeping staff work hard and fast, our room was always cleaned and refreshed every afternoon when we returned. We had rain and cool temps every night, so we were glad we could open our window a bit and turn off the (noisy) air conditioner. I think this is the best “breakfast included” we've ever had. Plenty of options, the biscuits were delicious! Pancakes, eggs, ham or sausage, gravy and biscuits, cooked oatmeal with toppings, toast, bagels, sweet rolls, yogurt with toppings, apples and canned fruits. We appreciated the sugar free syrups as well. Coffees, milks, juices, cocoa, teas. The OJ was good quality surprisingly. What I noticed right away were the plates, bowls and mugs were all ceramic! No plastic or styrofoam anything! And stainless steel flatware too. They run a steak house there at night, so have the full kitchen in the back with dishwashing. It was quite nice. The breakfast staff every day were friendly and kept everything stocked and hot. Plenty of room for food selections and plenty of tables with forest views. We kept checking the online room reservations and were able to find a much lower rate than we'd orignally booked, so always a good idea to keep checking. Rates fluctuate with supply. Check out was easy and the front desk staff were especially helpful. Kudos to the management here for caring about so many of the small things that make for a great guest experience.

This place is right off the 40. We were traveling with a dog and thankfully they take dogs. If you happen to be traveling with a trailer. They will have space for it. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was available. We drove through the town and it looks like a great place to check out. So sad we were only there for the night.

Had a relaxing and most comfortable stay at the Williams Best Western. It outdid all of the other host options in the area. On a ridge just outside of the town, the first thing we noticed was the crisp air and the smell of the pines. Everything was uphill from that point including the wonderful staff and comfortable room. We feel like we really lucked out as our stay was one of the trip highlights.

The Best Western Inn of Williams, as a couple we have visited Williams and stayed at the Best Western, at the time it was indeed the best,this visit was not exactly a disappointment but just a tad quieter than our previous encounter, all was fine with the hotel with a superb breakfast after a sound sleep in the large airy room,with all one requires for a stay,all the staff were attentive and looked after us well,so no complaints at all, bar one... the cost we felt was rather expensive for a standard room that's all.Just becoming an average Best Western hotel now.

This Best Western Plus Inn of Williams, is the very best Best Western Plus we've ever stayed in. Beautiful, comfortable, friendly a real 5 stars hands down !! Stayed for two nights and the room was lovely and the decor was very nice. Couldn't ask for a friendlier staff. Breakfast and dinner were great. So handy to the train to the Grand Canyon, which was an awesome highlight of our trip to Arizona.

The staff was helpful, pleasant and the rooms were very nice. I was surprised this was not a new hotel. The restaurant staff were pleasant, truthful and the food was cooked to order. I will definitely stay here again.

The best hotel in Williams! Great amenities in the room, reliable WiFi, beautiful lobby and restaurant rooms, and lovely seating by the pool. Breakfast was fine; more fresh fruit would be nice. Coffee available at all times.

This hotel sits far off the highway and it is a peaceful place to rest. Nice pool and spa. Okay breakfast...a lot of carbs. There are a lot of different restaurants to choose from in Williams. One hour away from the Grand Canyon entrance. I would stay here again.

We were doing a bit of a Route 66 trip this weekend and had the chance to stay here. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good as well. The location was beautiful.
