"Best in West"
mountainsky396, 20 Octobre 2023

I've stayed at nearly every motel in West Yellowstone over the past 30 years. I believe this hotel was my best experience to date, especially if traveling with a pet. I only desire that all the hotels in West would offer overall lower rates, particularly in the high season. I had to wait until mid-October for the rates to drop to a somewhat normal level. Over $375-400 in the summer per night? Crazy.

"Amazing experience."
toddsimmons27, 15 Octobre 2023

Best place ever . Wonderful experience. The staff were incredible. We would come back from our day at the park and are room was always clean the bed was maid and clean towels. Excellent. We would start are morning with your great breakfast. Yum!! The couple at the front desk were amazing. There knowledge of the area was incredible. Overall one of the best trips we've ever had .

"Excellent for families"
Victoria R, 11 Octobre 2023

Excellent location for Yellowstone visits via the West entrance, by far the most friendly staff we've come across during a hotel stay in the USA, they were excellent with our 4 year old. The hotel room is basic but warm which is required during Oct! The breakfast is also fine, selection of pastries, oatmeal and warm options changed daily.

"Ideal spot to explore Yellowstone"
John B, 08 Octobre 2023

Really good Best Western. Big Rooms, Average T.V, Wi-Fi, Coffee, Microwave and Fridge. Bath/Shower with nice accessories, room in really good condition. Hot and Cold Breakfast offerings, no Gluten free but really friendly and helpful staff. On the edge of the National Park, ideal spot.

"Great hotel"
Jennmcn, 03 Octobre 2023

Great location in West Yellowstone. Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants. Clean room, super comfy bed, large room. Breakfast had lots: waffles, ( very salty) eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, almond milk, juice. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

"Great stay!"
Kathy K, 27 Septembre 2023

Couldn't have been happier with our room (comfy beds, very clean, modern) and every staff member was truly friendly...even at 6 am in the morning when we went down for breakfast! Perfect location for a home base to explore Yellowstone...with great places nearby to eat. Highly recommend!!

"Great hotel. Great location."
socaljkb, 25 Septembre 2023

You can't find a better hotel and location for this price. The room was like most other Best Western rooms. It was simple, clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable considering its location. You can walk from your room to town. (The shops and restaurants are all within walking distance.) The western park entrance is only 0.3 miles away. Breakfast is included and was very good. Sue was the employee working in the lobby every morning and greeted everyone. She always had a smile and welcoming personality. She offered great advice about the park and helped many of us with our daily plans. We would definitely stay here again.

"Great Hotel, Nice Staff"
Sue S, 24 Septembre 2023

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Yellowstone National Park. This hotel was perfect for our needs. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff really care about your experience while traveling. David at the front desk was very helpful, professional and gave excellent information about the town including restaurants and the area in general. I highly recommended this hotel.

"The staff really make this hotel! Read on for the Pros and Cons..."
dwfr, 08 Septembre 2023

We stayed at the Best Western Weston Inn in West Yellowstone for two nights in Aug '23 while visiting Yellowstone Park. If you found this review useful, please click the 'like'. PROS: +The front desk people really make this place -- they're super friendly and make you feel welcome. +Very clean room with newer decor. +Standard hotel breakfast included. Items like oatmeal, scrambled eggs, flavored yogurt, English muffins, mini muffins, waffles, coffee, tea. +Everything you need in the room -- iron, ironing board, plenty of towels, TV, fridge, dispensers with toiletries like shampoo, lotion and shower gel, hairdryer, coffee machine. +Comfy bed with 4 pillows on each bed. (We had 2 Queen beds). +Complimentary coffee in the lobby. +A/C wall unit +Plenty of restaurants within walking distance (I reccomemend 'Madison') +Complimentary outdoor parking in front of the hotel. +Short drive to Yellowstone West Entrance. CONS: -Some noise from the road and neighbors. Unfortunately we had a family next door with unruly noisy young kids who decided to stay up later than us. We had to call the front desk to complain. We always sleep with ear plugs at hotels to block out road noise, etc. -Breakfast items could be healthier -- I'd love to see unflavored yogurts, whole grain breads and more unflavored oatmeal packets. They did have a variety of fruit. All in all a stay that you'd expect from Best Western. If you found this review useful, please click the 'like'. :)

"Excellent "
Gayle R, 03 Septembre 2023

Sue and gentleman were awesome. Greeted you like family. Room was great. Shampoo, conditioner and lotion were great. Breakfast was delicious. Restaurants walking distance. We ate at Hanks twice. Loved the food and server.

"A great place to stay in!"
PEGGYDO2014, 18 Août 2023

Dedicated staff, very clean and spacious room. Nice bathroom as well. Tasty and fresh breakfast but the room to enjoy it is too small. Should be adapted to welcome all the guests. Nice outdoor pool to refresh after a long day. Easy parking lot. I absolutely recommend this place.

"Pet friendly hotel near Yellowstone National Park"
bradlyplynch, 06 Août 2023

I found parking right outside my door. There was a park, to take my dogs, directly across the street. The room was SPOTLESS, and the breakfast was great if you like waffles, sausage, and cinnamon rolls... Front desk had free maps of the town showing some of the best places to eat.

"“Great Hotel”"
uniquegirl, 03 Août 2023

We stayed here two nights while exploring Yellowstone National Park. This is a wonderful hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The hotel staff are all very nice and offer great suggestions on places to visit and restaurants. I want to give a special shout out to Sue and Hal at the front desk. They are two of the nicest people and they treat you like you are family. I highly recommend this hotel.

"Wonderful staff"
angelamarcelin0, 15 Juin 2023

After a long drive, we arrived at our hotel. From the second I entered the office, the woman at the service desk was fantastic. I am kicking myself because I didn't ask her name. She was so helpful and even recommended some local businesses for dining. All of the staff were great. Our room was so comfy as well. We will definitely be staying here again!!!

"Perfect Stay"
sarahlbrunner, 04 Juin 2023

Visited West Yellowstone for the first time with my family. This stay was perfect for us and met all our needs. The service was top notch, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and the breakfast was great. This location is super close to the Yellowstone west entrance. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

"Clean & comfortable"
Gator58, 24 Mai 2023

The room was clean & comfortable, parked by door. Typical older motel. Very friendly checkin, pool was still empty so check with motel to make sure it is open when you book. Breakfast was a disappointment stale cereal, rubbery omelets, they did have waffles. Location is very near Yellowstone west entrance.

"West Yellowstone"
chacotech, 22 Mai 2023

The room was great. The breakfast selection was excellent. On the morning we checked out we were serenaded by one of the Yellowstone wolf packs. Staff were very nice. We'd been staying in Gardiner for the last couple of decades. Glad we made the change.

"Great Hotel"
307deneanb, 10 Mai 2023

I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I saw the outside when I drove up but was I wrong. Great greeting on entering and very easy check in. The room was beautiful and very clean. Very happy with our stay.

"Bad and Good"
dmlin, 19 Octobre 2022

This is a tough property to review. We stay two nights here. We a single queen room, since there was only two of us. Apparently the single queen rooms are the worst rooms in the building. We got room 202 which is on the second floor of the 2 story building, which is usually good, but this room was at the front of the building facing the road and above the breakfast room. Apparently, everyone in Montana drives diesel pickup trucks because were heard a million of them go back that room and if they were not pickup trucks, they were semi-trucks engine braking as they were going into town. This when on until about 11 or 12 oclock and then it was fairly quiet until 5 am when you could hear every chair in the breakfast room being dropped onto the floor. This was the worst night we had on our 2 week trip. When we went down to breakfast, we asked for a room change. They moved us right away and they said that they usually do not put people in that room if they have other rooms available, which they did. They moved us to room 211, in the middle of the building - much better. The breakfast was good. Except for the bad first night, this place was good, just don't get rooms 201 and 202.

"Super friendly"
sjguti2000, 09 Octobre 2022

Wonderful time with staff. They were attentive and friendly. Staff always had suggestions and share past experiences with the surrounding businesses. The food was warm and enough to start a busy day sightseeing. Great Job!

"feedback best western west yellowstone"
Patrick E, 09 Octobre 2022

a good place to stay to the yellowstone nationalpark, West Yellostone is a beautiful village with good restaurants in walking distance to the best western, if we come back, we will stay again in this best western

"An excellent option to take a break from or prep for Yellowstone"
43blakep, 26 Septembre 2022

We were greeted by very friendly staff. Our room was ready even though we arrived before check-in. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The complementary breakfast was good and the morning staff was even friendlier and welcoming than the previous day's afternoon staff. They kept the food area clean and were very attentive to everyone's finished dishes. The hotel is located away from the local restaurants but the walk is short and pleasant. I would absolutely stay here again.

"Great deal with a nice room"
TimRDelph, 24 Septembre 2022

Checking in late can be a haste sometimes, but Rob at the front desk was quick and efficient at getting us checked in and into our room. The room is all you need for a pleasant stay in West Yellowstone. It was clean and comfortable.

"Not the best Best Western"
lauriewobbe, 23 Septembre 2022

On this trip we stayed at 3 different Best Westerns in Montana. The other two were wonderful. This one had the nicest couple ever working at the front desk each morning. If it wasn't for them, I would only give one star. Our refrigerator was broken and all of our food spoiled. The walls were paper thin. We could hear people above, behind, and on each side of us. The water pooled at the door after it rained and you had no choice, but to walk through it to get to your room. The room was very dark even when every light was on. The breakfast area was super small. I feel that at over $1200 for four nights, it was very over priced. Until this stay, I chose Best Westerns with confidence. I will be more careful in the future.

"Felt right at home!"
Rita S, 22 Septembre 2022

These places are very, very rare. In 8 weeks of touring the states this holiday we only encountered two. Hotel rooms are expensive these days and the poor traveller is expected to pay the high prices and get less and less in return, badly made beds, awful bedding, dusty rooms (even loo paper like thin tissue) and bad quality breakfasts and coffee. People who run places like the Weston inn treat their guests like they would like to be treated themselves and it shows. The hotel is not modern, very traditional but it has traditional values too. The room is spotless clean, everything has been updated and looks in very good condition. I think when a person enters a room like this you are more likely to treat it like your home and look after everything. The bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable, good bedding and actually made well which is also very rare these days, 9 times out of 10 I have to re make the whole bed. Breakfast is usually a solemn occasion, people have got up early to do whatever they want to do and are a bit tired and usually very unimpressed as to the pickings that are on offer which in turn makes you feel rather grumpy. This small breakfast area was fun, greeted as soon as you walk through the door with a cheerful good morning by a lovely lady on reception who every so often comes around the dining room for a chat with her guests which gets everyone buzzing and chatting to each other about what they are doing or have done. And then you are faced with a great, hot cooked breakfast which is really, really good. We were only here 2 days but each day was different and did I mention “hot”, usually hot is always nearly stone cold in most places. It is only a small area but it turns around and the tables are wiped down in an instant so just wait a little, and if the weather is nice there is an outside patio. I would highly recommend this place, we stayed at another place the 2 nights before this which was at the top of trip-advisor and the breakfast was sad and the whole feel of the place was not a patch on the friendly, homey atmosphere you get when you stay here.

"West Yellowstone"
tlr132022, 09 Septembre 2022

Anyone traveling to/from Yellowstone National Park knows prices of places to stay near its entrances are expensive. Leaving that aside, the Weston is a fine place to rest, quiet, clean, with a very friendly, informative, and accommodating staff.

"Very nice place"
evav301, 31 Août 2022

The place was luxurious, with excellent access to the west gate of the park (a few minutes), very good breakfast and absolutely the best receptionist Sue and her partner, who advised us on everything and recommended great places to see and eat.❤️ Eva (Czech Republic)

"Wifi did not work"
Quest464389, 21 Août 2022

I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. During the whole stay, there was no wifi. I was told that the internet was down and they were working on it. Very disappointed that it wasn't fixed in three days. The hotel should offer compensation as I was paying for services not rendered. Otherwise, the hotel staff during the day was very welcoming and courteous. The check-in staff at night was indifferent though.

"Wow...what a change in staff from our last visit!"
boisebopper77, 18 Août 2022

So it has been a couple of years since we have been back to West Yellowstone. In our family's opinion, one of the most beautiful places on Earth! We stayed at the Best Western Weston one time in the past and it was just such a compliment to a perfect trip. One of the reason's was the staff at the property. From cleaning staff to the front desk. We had an ongoing dialog with Sue and her husband Al. We would stop in for some fresh coffee and they would ask about our day and even talk to our kids. I regret not leaving a review in the past about this and, admittedly, took it for granted. This has all since changed unfortunately. Now the lobby resides 3 young kids that give you the immediate impression they don't want to be here and don't want you there either. For breakfast, we felt immediately uncomfortable as the staff slammed equipment and hap-hazardly set up a continental breakfast. She huffed and puffed and we almost felt like we did something wrong. She glanced at me as if i had done something to her in a past life. I went in later in the day after calling down and getting no answer. I needed some towels as we had left them at the pool. I encountered a young man in a beanie cap(granted it was 82 degrees this day) named Dante. I stood 2 feet away from him but refused to look up. He had iPod earphones in but I know he knew i was there. I had to say, "excuse me" to get his attention. He was not going to look up otherwise. Dante looked up at me with some of the most distain i have ever seen in my life. He said nothing, but waited for me to speak again. I asked him if i could have 2 replacement towels. He puffed his breath, said nothing and went to go grab them. He put them on top of the counter...said nothing again and looked back down at his phone. His counter part, who was a female, was also on her phone. It's very sad. I'm not sure what happened or what is going on. This group of kids is doing this Best Western a HUGE disservice. I can't imagine the number of people that must walk away from any and all interactions with this group in not a terrible impression. They completely took all the magic we fondly remember of this lodging. I hope Sue and her husband are still there but I fear they are not. I did have a positive interaction with the manager on our departure. I wanted to say something to him about his new staff but they were around and didn't want to start my day with a negative interaction. I would still say the rooms are clean and nice. Pool is great. But with the price, we require a more friendly staff. It probably should be a 2 or 3 star review because of the rooms and facilities but I just can't get past the fact of the front desk staff. It was a dark cloud on our stay and trip. I can honestly say, with this recent change of guard, we would be uncomfortable to book this lodging again in the future.

"HELPFUL FRIENDLY Staff at convenient West Yellowstone location!"
cpons76, 02 Août 2022

We stayed for 4 nights at the hotel and the front desk staff was so friendly to everyone! Always had a good morning and a smile on their faces. They gave us great tips for a downloadable tour guide and were just a pleasure! Thanks for everything Sue!

"Just an average motel"
pjkenny98, 31 Juillet 2022

Was just an ok motel. Pretty clean. We were in the back building. Small outside pool that the kids used. The breakfast was ok...little cold. Was an ok stay ...just cant find anything special to say about it. Would I stay there again. ???

"Very nice place to stay and convenient to Yellowstone National Park"
Beachwatcher14, 31 Juillet 2022

Our room was recently renovated and very nice and comfortable. All hotel staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. Convenient location to Yellowstone National Park, which means during high tourist season, it is very expensive area to stay.

"West Yellowstone"
Nira D, 27 Juillet 2022

Sue & Hal at Best Western Weston Inn were excellent. Very friendly. Very informative. Our only issue was the room was very dark even with all the lamps on. Great location to town. Breakfast was very good. Excellent beds & pillows.

"Not of the Best Western Quality"
Linda D, 24 Juillet 2022

The ice machine was broken, the refrigerator in our room never did come on. I checked and it was turned on and plugged in and I explained this to front desk and they said the refrigerator only comes on 20 minutes of ever hour. This is not the truth.

"Fantastic friendly staff"
wcp77, 16 Juillet 2022

This hotel is not fancy at all but is very clean. The doors open to the outside and there is a park right outside. I was concerned about the noise from the basketball court but once our door was closed the room was nice and quiet. It is minutes from west gate of Yellowstone. The breakfast was included and Sue and the staff were so very nice and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"Great place to stay"
wchair4me, 14 Juillet 2022

Was centrally located for all our Yellowston experiences. People on staff were Great and most friendly whenever you saw them. Room was WC Accessabilities and very clean, looked like it had recently remolded.

"Excellent Customer Service"
ocean979, 13 Juillet 2022

Sue and her husband helped me arrange a stay for my parents. They were very friendly and very helpful. My parents said the room was beautiful. Very clean and very comfortable. This property is within walking distance of town and minutes from the west gate. My parents stayed two nights and were very pleased with the hotel. Thank you to Sue and her husband for the friendly assistance.

"Great Stay"
JMR67Germany, 11 Juillet 2022

We spend 4 nights in the Westen Inn over the 4th of July. Our stay was wonderful. The motel is situated one block of the City Center next the City Park. The room was very quite and very good apointed. We sleeped so good. The breakfast was delicius. The nice women at the reception adviced good tips for the day. We can fully recommend the motel.

"BW West Yellowstone"
vkak, 11 Juillet 2022

Very friendly and courteous staff. Sue went out of the way to ensure that we had a great time during our 4th of July weekend stay. Our room was neat and tidy and all amenities were working. Well kept dining area for daily hot breakfast. Location is just awesome. Few minutes to Yellowstone park entry and nearby restaurants and shops.

"Wonderful Clean, Comfortable Best Western Stay"
MsRPae, 10 Juillet 2022

This hotel was really nice. The rooms were the perfect size, super comfy and clean. I never felt like I was in a small room the way the layout is. As soon as you enter the hotel everyone is nice, attentive and super helpful. Check-in and check-out process was easy and fast. Every staff member that I saw during my stay was welcoming and smiling. At check-out on the last day early morning we were greeted by Sue and Hal. Absolutely kind, helpful and warm people. And if not mistaken I believe the lovely couple not only run hotel but also the owners of this well-operated establishment. Another plus for me was I love the fact that they have a hot breakfast. Breakfast here is from 6-10AM. Another thing to note is most motel/hotels do not offer a breakfast let a “HOT” breakfast. Another great reason to book this hotel~the bed was really comfortable. Just the right thickness to the mattress, I love the pillows, I wonder where I can buy these? Bottom line, this hotel has what everything you would want. Hotel is comfortable, clean, safe, hot breakfast, and they have convenient free parking. This shall be my absolute stay here on my next return visit to Yellowstone in the winter. I highly recommend Best Western Weston Inn to anyone.

"A good experience"
jopardoe27, 27 Juin 2022

The hotel was clean easy to excess for my mom on the first floor. The room was very modern and all the beds were easy to sleep on. The breakfast had multiple choices to choose from. Was the best hotel I stayed at on my trip.

"Good value and a good base for Yellowstone"
kimbergidget, 14 Juin 2022

First off, I have to say that Sue and Hal are the most wonderful hosts. They truly care about their guest's comfort. They are the embodiment of Customer Service! The motel itself is nice, clean, very comfortable and well situated within West Yellowstone for walking around and exploring. Close to the entrance to the park. All the things we were looking for! Breakfast was good, had a good variety, and plentiful. I would recommend this motel.

"good value and decent location"
lauralN2296KY, 12 Juin 2022

west yellowstone is popular and not inexpensive. this was a great option with about a block walking distance to downtown. rooms were up to date and clean. breakfast was good. staff was pleasant. beds were very comfortable.

"Good Yellowstone base with lovely staff"
billgT6365TG, 11 Juin 2022

Good standard hotel/motel in the centre of town . Comfy beds and spotless room. Great shower and plenty of towels. Standout feature is the staff. Sue and Hal were delightful and incredibly helpful. Always on hand to help.

"Not great"
_russjillhurd, 16 Mai 2022

we needed a simple room for 1 night. This hotel seemed kind of expensive for the poor quality of the room. Generally kind of icky and it smelled like everything was saturated in Lysol Disinfectant spray. Single pane windows sweated a little. Shower had poor drainage.

"Wonderful Hotel and Staff"
O285KXmatthewc, 09 Mai 2022

We were so impressed with this property. The rooms have been completely refurbished and are in perfect working order. The whole property was amazingly clean. The staff are wonderful. We highly recommend this hotel.

"Average room but expensive"
MarquetteSandD, 11 Octobre 2021

Room was clean and comfortable, but very expensive (resort priced). There were no elevators, parking was limited, and the breakfast room was too small for the amount of guests. Location was ok, near to restaurants and entrance to Yellowstone.

"Yellowstone"
jrduck00, 11 Octobre 2021

Oh my goodness, very expensive stay, and the hotel was an old 70 motel with outside entrances to rooms. It is not a place I would recommend or stay at again. The rooms were clean is all I can say good about this hotel.

"Location"
Danny D T, 06 Octobre 2021

This hotel locates a short walking distance (approximately 0.3 mile) from shops and restaurants, but it is far away from all the noises. Hot breakfast is available (except there was issue with waffle makers). There was a very friendly senior couple at the front desk greeting us when we came in for breakfast in the morning!

"Clean, Quiet, Homey, Friendly Staff"
CacheOn, 06 Octobre 2021

Much to our surprise, we arrived while it was snowing. The two young men manning the front desk were delightful to chat with while checking us in late at night. We really liked our room and the field across the way was completely covered with snow. We stayed two nights in order to have time to explore Yellowstone National Park. I only wish we had realized how insane it would be to gain access to the park entrance. It took us an hour and fifteen minutes to get through the pay station! We skipped breakfast at BW the first morning, which was another mistake because all the cafes have long wait times. So the second morning we made sure we ate at the BW and its breakfast was just fine and saved a lot of time. All of the staff were exceedingly friendly and attentive. I don't think I would stay anywhere else in West Yellowstone.

"Best place to stay in West Yellowstone"
drsrinivas1, 04 Octobre 2021

The location is good, being very close to the west entrance of Yellowstone. The staff were very nice and friendly. Spencer and Adrian were very welcoming and helpful at the check in. Rooms were clean, maintained well every day. Hot breakfast is included which is good because it is hard to find breakfast places we felt. The couple who owns the place greeted everyone during breakfast and were very cordial. Internet is free. The only minor problem I had was the water for shower would occasionally get a little cold during the mornings. Overall, great experience and would stay here again in the future.

"Good But Not Great"
Mike H, 03 Octobre 2021

First the bad - There are no elevators at this hotel. So if you need a bottom floor then you better ask for it with the reservation and let them know again before you arrive. This ground floor rooms also allow pets but the say they really clean them later and charge for it. The breakfast area is very tight and gets crowded so you can't walk around. There is limited seating so you may need to go back to your room. Remember no elevator so cap your coffee. Limited on site parking. You may need to park across the street. The Good - Located a mile or so from the park and easy walking distance to the restaurants. Service is great and checking in and out was a breeze. The front desk gave us good recommendations for dinner. The room was good sized and clean. They asked if you want the room cleaned daily and this may be an extra charge. We declined as we were there only 2 nights. The place is quiet and the bed was comfy. Bring an extension cord if you have things to plug in. We always carry one just in case.

"Much Better Than I Imagined!"
Stacey G, 26 Septembre 2021

My friend and I were very happy with the hotel. The location was perfect. The two guys at the desk, Spencer and Bing, were friendly and helpful. They were a plethora of information. If I ever go back to Yellowstone I will stay at the Weston Inn again.

"Good Friendly Hotel"
dbspiers2021, 20 Septembre 2021

Enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Weston Inn in West Yellowstone. Nice, comfortable, clean room. Good, hot breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Older facility but well maintained. We will choose this hotel again the next time in West Yellowstone.

"Love this place"
kingbri511, 14 Septembre 2021

This hotel is a great gem in the city. An awesome public park is across the street, And you can walk to everything in the whole town just about. Clean, easy going, good breakfast and what seems only blocks away from the west entrance of Yellowstone. Def will stay again

"Pleasant stay"
Robert W, 13 Septembre 2021

We spent two nights, and were happy with our stay. Room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff and breakfast manager were very friendly and helpful. All of the available accommodations in West Yellowstone are expensive, so we won't complain about price, but obviously similar properties in less desirable locations would be much less. Just sayin'

"Best Hotel to stay in!"
Heather M, 11 Septembre 2021

We had the best experience at this hotel, on our visit to Yellowstone. Every single person at the front desk was nice, helpful with restaurant recommendations and with anything else we needed during our 8 night stay. It was VERY clean and the breakfast was great everyday. This is the best place to stay when visiting Yellowstone & The Grand Tetons! I HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

"So helpful"
lelacheurkate, 24 Août 2021

We were supposed to be camping in Yellowstone. When our car broke down we were stranded waiting for a mechanic to help. We were able to get a room for our young family that was comfortable and spacious. The staff gave us the best price they could and were so helpful. Everyone was friendly. It made a stressful situation so much better! It was overall a great experience.

"The quiet end of West Yellowstone!!"
westcamp4, 19 Août 2021

The facility is not the newest hotel in West Yellowstone, but it was clean & comfortable for the 4 days we stayed. We did not use the pool, but many families & couples did and seemed to enjoy their time. Staff kept the pool & other public areas clean & orderly. Overall, the staff at this location made our stay so nice. They were very polite & helpful.

"Extremely clean"
ae308, 11 Août 2021

We spent one night here and were pleasantly surprised. Our room was comfortable and spotless. Checking in was easy. Everything seemed updated, and the bed was comfortable. The location is great with a lot of restaurants nearby.

"Location, Location, Location"
Z2965QRrobertc, 10 Août 2021

The hotel was located just outside the east entrance to Yellowstone Nat'l Park, which was so convenient. However, the hotel was really old and overpriced. The mattress was terrible, there was no elevator to get to 2nd floor rooms (outside stairs). The breakfast was very good, but the eating room was very small. There was no grab bar in the bathtub, & the tub bottom was very slick. Our room was across from a beautiful park, though, and we had easy access to a recycling bin for our cans & water bottles. The outdoor hotel pool was very small and accessible by anybody, even without a room key. We called the Best Western reservations number to book 2 rooms for 3 nights but were somehow switched over to a booking agent & charged in advance for the rooms. Thus, we couldn't cancel the 3rd night upon arrival, as we tried to do. At checkout, the hotel couldn't print a receipt immediately but brought it to us as we were packing our bags in the car. Upon return home from our trip, we discovered that the receipt shows the charges were $497 less than what we had actually paid when we booked it. We still haven't gotten it resolved. We had to call Best Western to get our reward points added.

"Clean, awesome staff, and excellent hot breakfast!"
c0ry06, 08 Août 2021

Clean, awesome staff, and excellent hot breakfast! Pointers from the morning hosts of “do not miss” local places such as the Bear and Wolf preserve made our stay even better! Highly recommend this location if you are in West Yellowstone!

"Yellowstone Vacation"
Luke K, 01 Août 2021

This hotel was in a great location for a visit to Yellowstone. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was good but in a small room, but there was seating outside so it was ok. Outside entrance room doors but not many bugs.

"Amazing place, great service, great breakfast and excellent location "
jerrye258, 27 Juillet 2021

Wow! What an amazing experience it was. The rooms were sparkling clean and fully stocked. Oh and the rooms were very good size we were in the new building in the back. Hot breakfast was amazing every morning and the staff go out of their way to make sure you have whatever you need. You can really tell they love their job. Just seconds from the entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Highly recommend this location for anyone.

"PERFECT STAY!!"
585kimberlyb, 16 Juillet 2021

Very convenient location in between West Yellowstone airport and entrance to the park. Easy to get around. The staff are amazing. Sue and her husband Hal are always so courteous to the guests, greeting and smiling and making sure we're well taken care of. The staff all have great recommendations of where to go in the park. We loved the complimentary hot breakfast. The price is what you would expect staying anywhere in West Yellowstone. It's expensive to eat and stay around here. The rooms were very clean, a little outdated, but perfect for our stay. We love how it's walking distance to all the shops and stores. The park is literally across the street so we took the kids there during our down time. Overall, we had a very lovely stay. The staff, food, cleanliness and location were all great.

"Not committed to customer service"
758sachink, 11 Juillet 2021

This hotel is the farthest of all the hotels from the town center in West Yellowstone. Room was not clean at the time of check in. Front desk was notified over the phone the same evening of checkin but had nothing more than a bland apology to offer. Written complaint was handed over to the front desk the following day but have not heard from any hotel representative about same. Room was allotted on the 3rd floor. Hotel does not have any elevators and so had to carry luggage all the way for 3 floors during checkin and check out. Room was noisy with outdoor noise easily heard inside the room. Wash sink in the room was located inside the bathroom, because of which more time was wasted in getting ready for my family. Breakfast items and breakfast staff were the only positives during my stay at this hotel, because of which this hotel gets a one star. Overall this hotel is not committed to customer service and so would recommend any traveler in West Yellowstone to look for other lodging accommodations in West Yellowstone.

"Yellowstone Westin Inn"
Joyce P, 29 Juin 2021

This hotel has recently been refreshed and it was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was full spread and very tasty. Hotel staff was very helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommend for families. Also, a very nice park across the street to let kids work off energy after traveling.

"sad experience"
602pam, 25 Juin 2021

We stayed in this town due to closeness to Yellowstone Park. I found lodging and places to eat extremely overpriced. Our stay for 2 nights at this motel / inn exceeded $900.00. The room was small and very dated, but appeared clean at first glance, however when one of the beds was turned down there was hair in the bed. I contacted the front desk and was advised that housekeeping was gone for the evening, so at my request they brought fresh sheets and I changed the bed myself. I DID find a $20.00 credit on my bill. The breakfast consisted of a menu of hot and cold items that you selected at a walled off dining room and an attendant would give you the items in a paper bag. The hot items was a frozen biscuit with egg that you took to your room and heated in the microwave. The cold items were cereal, milk, yogurt, breakfast bars ect. The staff were friendly and accomodating.

"Parker at Yellowstone West is the best!!!!"
Razrback4ever, 08 Juin 2021

Thank God for Parker at this wonderful Inn! We lucked up on this place late at night after my reservation at another place canceled me without any reason at 11:00 pm. 14 hours of travel ,2 women and a teenager were desperate. Lucked up on this property and Parker,.The attendant. Parker was awesome , got us a room, got my exhausted grand daughter hot chocolate and made sure we had everything we needed. Room was great, Breakfast was great. Best Western will be y choice of stay from now on. Thank you Parker and staff! Great stay.

"Hello Rodents and Reptiles!"
noname014, 31 Mai 2021

When spending dollars for lodging and paying nearly $400/nite, a certain level of decorum and quality is expected. This was our last available place to try, so we went ahead. Once in the room, there was about a 3/8 inch gap at the latch side of the door both bottom and top. Lots of daylight was clearly visible through both. Thankfully the weather was quite cool, or any number of visitors, reptile, rodent, or insect had a clear path into the room. The furnishings and amenities were not in keeping with a lodging charging this price. Reserve early in West Yellowstone, even off season, because you don't want to end up here. Best Western should be ashamed of their name on this place.

"Courteous and friendly, but NOISY"
684lucindaf, 22 Mai 2021

Nice sized room, sack breakfast (Covid), comfortable, friendly. But, OH, was our room ever noisy! We were on first floor and could hear people in the room above and to both sides, as well as right outside our window hear car doors, car security, suitcases coming down the stairs, etc. (This is a motel, not a hotel.) Also big trucks.

"Still with grab and go breakfast because breakfast room too small for social distancing"
Connie C, 21 Mai 2021

Hilton, Wyndham, and Rodeway hotels on our trip all had nice breakfasts (especially Hilton!) but this hotel said it was corporate policy to offer only grab and go....though the web site said hot breakfast was free, The grab and go did include breakfast sandwiches and fruit, but with people crowded together on tour buses, Covid excuse for social distancing is DONE. Expensive. >$300 a nite. Ice machine was on 3rd floor with no elevator in our wing of the hotel. Otherwise, staff were very helpful, rooms clean, beds comfortable. Perfect location outside of the park entrance.

"Great Hotel, Great Location"
sherryr01, 16 Octobre 2020

Very happy with our stay. The location of the hotel is great being in West Yellowstone and just off the main drag so it is a little bit away from the busy downtown area but still within walking distance of everything. The “Covid-friendly” breakfast was excellent. A bagged breakfast, which included plenty of food, was provided each morning from the very friendly and helpful front desk staff. The rooms very nice with plenty of space as well. Would definitely stay again.

"Great location and base for Yellowstone visit"
luckyv, 10 Octobre 2020

West Yellowstone is a great base for visiting Yellowstone National Park and the Best Western Weston has a great location in the town. It's on the edge of town but within walking distance to shops and restaurants. There is an outdoor patio for carry out dining and a large park across the street. The grab and go breakfast was very good with multiple items in the bags. Coffee was available 24/7 at front desk, we just needed to ask. Being virus sensitive, there was no daily housekeeping, but we could request anything needed. I felt the hotel and grounds were all very clean, a staff member was cleaning outside windows while we were there. Our room was large and included a microwave and refrigerator for the breakfast items we could not eat in one sitting. Everyone was very friendly and helpful during our stay. I would definitely stay here again as we were very pleased.

"Super clean and accommodating!"
Ari W, 09 Octobre 2020

We initially booked a dog friendly room but ended up not taking our dog on vacation with us. When we arrived, the older gentleman in front of us was throwing a fit over being charged a pet fee. As it turned out he had used a booking site not associated with the hotel and didn't book a pet friendly room. He was extremely rude to the young man at the front counter, who was doing his best to stay calm. Anyway, we offered up our dog friendly room to get the process moving along for everyone. I like to think it worked in our favor because we got probably the cleanest and quietest room I have ever stayed in! Also, where most hotels are not offering breakfast, this one had several options for “grab and go” which is appreciated. Will definitely stay here again.

"Very nice stay in every way "
TravelDiva001, 06 Octobre 2020

We booked our stay back in August right after becoming Best Western members so we could receive members rate. We are here now in a lovely room with 2 queen beds for $125/night + tax. The key to a great rate is becoming a member and booking in advance. We're here a total of 3 nights to tour Yellowstone National Park. Everyone who works here has been super nice and helpful. Even with COVID, we feel safe because they are following all the rules and everything is very clean. Breakfast at all hotels right now is “grab & go” where we pick it up from the front desk every morning - an assortment of food items in a sack with hot coffee, milk & juice on the side. We even received a couple of savory individual quiches for our microwave that are actually good. This location is great for walking to restaurants and other shopping. I recommend this hotel.

"$200 a night for a motel room was more than I was expecting for late September"
Blabbott, 05 Octobre 2020

West Yellowstone has always been an expensive place to stay. I thought it would be different in late September this year, but it wasn't. The room was just ok. It was large, but dated. The service was polite and fast.

"Great place in West Yellowstone"
Belgin L, 02 Octobre 2020

West Yellowstone is such a wonderful little town for one or two nights when visiting the park. Best Western Western and made it so much better the beds are so comfortable and so are the pillows. Being at the front desk answered all her questions gave us a good restaurant recommendation at Madison Crossing. Madison Crossing was excellent as well we had the steak and the bison burger -it was fabulous. Overall great experience.

"Clean and neat, location great for access to Yellowstone Park"
dalbright2018, 22 Septembre 2020

Used one of our free night rewards, had no problem other than check in clerk telling us there would be no charge for our dog and then having the charge show up on our credit card. Thought it was a bit dishonest although we expected it and do not mind paying for our pet. Motel clean, quiet and centrally located with quick access to park entrance. Was extremely quiet considering how busy it was.

"Great location for visiting Yellowstone"
flzdmpm03, 21 Septembre 2020

Great location to visiting Yellowstone. Located 5 minutes to west entrance to Yellowstone. Close to downtown shopping and dining. Laundromat located next door which bus very convenient. West entrance gives easy access to all areas of park.

"Usual BW with a premium for location"
kcboy, 19 Septembre 2020

As far as proximity to Yellowstone goes, this hotel certainly fits the bit. We stayed here on our way out of the park, so it was nice to get here so soon after a long day in the park. Check in was quick and friendly, and they had good COVID procedures in place. Did find a long hair under the pillow when we were turning down for the night -- but I always think it's a miracle not to see that more often, so it didn't phase us much. It's expensive, as any property in this town is going to be. Otherwise, a pretty standard BW stay for us.

"Only Stayed One Night"
LaurenEA91, 14 Septembre 2020

Stopped here just for a night. Bed was big and comfortable. Room was clean and had a fridge and a microwave which was nice. Check in was easy, check out was a bit complicated cause we had gift cards which I told the night desk lady but she said to do that at check out. Day desk guy said it should have been done at check in so it took about 30 minutes, we went to grab our box lunch for the park during this time. I do believe that it was over priced but it was only a few minutes from the park entrance.

"Great hotel near the entrance of the park"
bitsmom_tn, 30 Août 2020

If you're looking for a great hotel just outside Yellowstone National Park, this is your hotel. The room was good size, the bed comfortable and lots of things nearby. Breakfast was grab-n-go style due to COVID-19 but it wasn't bad. Doors to the rooms are exterior so we were able to park right in front of our room.

"Outstanding manager"
articleV, 27 Août 2020

Jose Maldonado, manager on duty, did an outstanding job under challenging Covid restrictions in seeing to our needs with a most congenial attitude. Alternative food service was more than adequate. We are sure Jose is deserving of a good raise in pay! Only flaw was some minor interruptions in cable TV signal.

"Great for price"
giackonda, 21 Août 2020

Booked last minute while driving through to Yellowstone. During Covid Pros Clean and large room Friendly staff Minutes from Yellowsone Great brown bag breakfast. They went above and beyond. There was yogurt and orange and milk and muffin and u could chose hot sandwich and your juice flavor. Amd of course coffee. Neutral Exterior property... some love it some hate it. It is what it is. Cons No pool. Only because we have kids who may be fish.

"1st Unacceptable Best Western in over 2 weeks travels"
LoisP203, 18 Août 2020

The bed is facing the Air conditioning unit which was blowing right into our faces. The only solution was to move an oversize chair in front of the A/C unit. Which moved the air flow away from our faces. The mattress was very soft. We have been staying at Best Westerns for the past 2 weeks and this is the First location that was totally unacceptable. There wasn't even a coffee pot in the room..

"Great little hotel"
Pipersbs, 06 Août 2020

Great little hotel. I was a little skeptical pulling up but the rooms are actually pretty nice. Clean, confortable and surprisingly quiet. The to go breakfast definitely exceeded my expectations and the staff were friendly. We will definitely be back!

"Post Before, "I'll Be Back" and we were and we will again!"
SherrillHooker26, 04 Août 2020

We stayed here in 2017, in room #225! Loved that room. I was able to call and make arrangements to stay #225 again! Room is very big and very clean. I love the big bathroom counter as well as the vanity area right before the bathroom. Its a great room. Beds are great. I love the light weight comforter on the bed, in fact it has to be a Best Western "thing" because all our BW hotels had it. Very stylish and light weight. Due to Covid the outdoor pool was closed. Bummed about that. I have to brag on Jose and Tina. My credit card was giving me troubles from the very beginning. They worked with me, they were patient with me! We will be back! fruit, yogurt, cereal, milk, frozen breakfast Jimmy Dean egg/sausage biscuit, or egg/cheese burrito, really enjoyed it.

"Pool is closed due to Covid"
scaygill1, 29 Juillet 2020

The pool is closed and they do not clearly mark this on their website. We stayed for four nights and by the time we arrived to find out the pool was closed it was too late to book another hotel as the prices were so high by then. It should have been clearly listed on their website.

"not a secured place!"
Janice D, 23 Juillet 2020

This place is a joke for 2 hundred a night. pool and hot tub does not look like its been working for years . Has a ripped blue tarp covering stuff. needs a really good paint job outside ,would help it a lot. I stayed in room 119 and they water pipes rattle ! The outside door does not lock so you hear all kinds of parties and noise.

"Very clean and the staff was amazing!"
Dream_teamML, 20 Juillet 2020

We pulled in and the check in process was quick and easy, they notified us of there to-go breakfast due to Covid-19 which was understandable and I appreciated. We slept great and the bed was comfy. Grabbed our morning breakfast and loaded up to head on in to Yellowstone NP

"Very poor everything at this place"
thabluetzel, 16 Juillet 2020

It is amazing how the closer we got to our detestation the more expensive and poorer service we got.. The place was way overprice for what you got. Which was nothing, no service, no towel service now maid service, You were on your own. Our room was like a dungeon, the ceiling was so low I could stand and put both hands on the ceiling. The people next door smoked. I always thought the worst Best Western was the one in Boulder CO, But this one beat it by a mile. I would like my money back.

"Don't Stay Here"
W5580CScraigl, 10 Juillet 2020

We stayed here thinking it was the safest option. Wrong! Paid an extra $100 for poor service and bug bites! When checking in I told the man I had a back injury and he gave us a room on the third floor did i mention no elevator! I was also told due to Covid 19 which he called corona virus smh we could come grab something frozen and throw it in the microwave in our room, thanks but no thanks didn't sound appetizing at all. Other hotels are ay last offering packages bagels and muffins and phrasing it a bit better than he did. Anyways at this point I was like whatever it's fine just give me my key, well the room seemed ok we were worn out from driving so went strait to bed. All four of us woke up covered in bug bites. It's been several days and we are still itchy. We had not been exposed to anywhere yet so i know they were from the room. We have bites on our backs, arms, face, in our hair and under where clothing was!!! Seriously disgusted! I emailed them at this point the next day and the response i got was I'm sorry I hope you chose to stay with us again! We would have been better off staying at a no name and saved $100+ not covered in bug bites miserable still 4 days later! Beware if you do decide to stay, management doesn't care and make sure you check your bed for bugs!

"Super friendly and helpful staff!"
forhym216, 02 Juillet 2020

We enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly and always helpful with whatever questions we had. The bagged breakfast was very generous - we took half of it as snacks on our days in Yellowstone. The room was spacious and clean, beds were very comfortable. No housekeeping unless requested, so we just dumped our trash in the large cans downstairs and got extra towels at the front desk when needed. 5 minutes to the entrance of Yellowstone. We'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

"Good"
boisemelanie, 27 Juin 2020

Clean room great shower. Park across street you use as dog park. Meet lots of folks with your dog. Kids playing in park enjoying themselves. Handled the quarantine great with breakfast or any encounters with staff or other quests.

"Yellowstone Park visit. "
cbenedictca, 24 Juin 2020

Solid hotel to visit Yellowstone park from. Good location. Dave was fantastic and was a great help finding the jewelry that my wife left behind in the room. He had it shipped to our house the next day!

"Good value"
mmrat, 19 Juin 2020

Management was friendly. They are doing their best to accommodate during the covid. They have grab and go bags for breakfast, which included one take back hot item, fruit, yougurt, milk, cereal, juice or coffee, muffin. I don't know if those change. Hotel was well cleaned, and looked remodeled on the inside. It is one block away from the main street, so occasionally you get road noise. It wasn't bad, just when a loud engine goes by. There is a park right across the street, so you do have some noise in early evening at times. Parking was fine. No elevator for second floor. They have a pool, but it wasn't open as it was super cold and it's outdoor. Beds were too hard for my liking (I usually prefer a very soft bed). I did wake up with aches, but they are nice mattresses. I am not sure if they are newer or just a firm mattress. Outside seemed rather old, but I was happy with the inside. Thinner walls, you can hear neighbors when they are loud. Overall good sleep, as a slightly cheaper option in West Yellowstone I can't complain

"Long Weekend"
Donna H, 16 Juin 2020

Nice low key place to stay in West Yellowstone. The staff went out of their way to make the best of restrictions in place during the corona virus. The motel is on a fairly busy street but we had no issues with noise in the evening. It is within walking distance to several downtown restaurants and stores.

"Close to Yellowstone"
Ks42025, 15 Juin 2020

Very close to the west entrance to Yellowstone, however for the high price of staying I expected more. Paid less in Jackson Hole and Cody and had much much nicer rooms. Front Desk clerks were very nice and helpful.

"Great Hotel and Hospitality"
thomp2am, 10 Octobre 2019

This hotel was perfect and close to everything in the little town of West Yellowstone. We were able to walk to all the shops and access to the park was very close. The staff was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. The morning we were leaving to drive to the airport in Bozeman a big storm came. The staff helped us clean our car, gave us snacks and water and made us feel comfortable with trek to the airport in the snow.

"Very nice stay. Nice breakfast very clean and great customer service"
deannasinclair67, 05 Octobre 2019

Very nice stay. One of the best Best Westerns we have stayed at and we have stayed at many. Great breakfast, eggs made to order. Customer service was outstanding. Great view of the falls. Rooms were spacious.

"Just OK"
scargo97, 22 Septembre 2019

Room served its purpose and was clean, beds uncomfortable. The dining room is VERY small, even trying different times we couldn't even get in to grab coffee. So plan to spend more and eat breakfast elsewhere.

"Very nice hotel"
309lauriel, 22 Septembre 2019

We just stayed at this hotel and it's very nice. The beds are comfortable and amenities are the standard. Breakfast is typical fare with eggs (hot & cold boiled), meat option, waffles, and oatmeal with optional toppings. There's also cold cereal, bread selection, fresh fruit, yogurt, and excellent piping hot coffee. My only wish is that there were more options for persons with mobility issues. The first floor rooms are very limited and there's no elevator so my mom, who has mobility issues had to climb stairs to our room. We had a great time though. There was a very nice plus! If you're needing a sack breakfast, just ask and the hotel will provide one! Bottled water, granola bar, fresh fruit, & boiled eggs plus napkins & plastic utensils. Very helpful and the first time I've ever encountered this. We received this when I informed the front clerk that we were checking out very early for our long trip home to Texas. Very pleased!

"A Good Best Western but NOISY doors!"
ParisOneTimer, 21 Septembre 2019

We had a 3rd floor room in the back building. The room itself is updated and we LOVE that they have chosen to offer bulk shampoo, hand soap and body wash dispensers, rather than those little plastic bottles that get thrown in landfills! The breakfast was typical Best Western, with waffles, hot oatmeal, hot egg and meat offerings, as well as cereals, yogurts, and apples and bananas. Server was awesome and attentive as he made sure everything was stocked. Best coffee of our 8 night trip, as it was nice and hot. The only complaint I had are that the door lock mechanisms are very loud as people open and close doors. You can't even close it quietly if you wanted to. People were coming and going until after midnight, so I assume the bars and nightlife are alive and well. I have stayed in many hotels where the door closes softly, so I encourage Best Western to investigate those options.

"Very nice stay"
Mme_X, 20 Septembre 2019

Quick summary: good price-value in a pricey town. Clean, comfortable room. Friendly, professional staff. Good breakfast. Pool has assist for handicapped. My review is based on what I expect of a "good value plus" hotel, not the Ritz. We stayed in room 116 on the lowest floor of the 3-story annex wing of the two-building hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. There were two queen beds with 4 pillows each -- great for propping up after a long day to read or watch TV (lots of good channels.). Table with 2 chairs, and a comfy club chair. View was of the privacy fence. What you often expect at a good Best Western is here (we are fans of this good- value chain): fridge, microwave, iron/board, coffee maker. No in-room safe. Spotless bathroom has a separate vanity area, which was great for me to put on my makeup while my husband was shaving. The hotel as gone eco-friendly with always full, wall-mounted containers of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel in the tub/shower and soap and lotion near the sink. While I am very much in favor of this format rather than the plastic waste of small one-use toiletry bottles, this is yet another hotel that mounts the canisters too high for someone in the bathtub to use them easily. Getting up and down in a wet tub a few times.? A litigator's dream.) ...but I thank the mgt for this nice full array of toiletries, and please keep the tub. Too many hotels are going shower-only. Lots of comforts: drawers, luggage ranks, open closet, etc.. Spotless housekeeping. Complimentary breakfast was pretty good. First, glory be!! Nicely strong coffee. Also: a nice spread to please most: an array of eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy ((I love biscuits with just a little butter), cereals, breads, bakery, make-yourself waffles, fresh fruit, freshly made yogurt, juices, etc. My husband especially like the scrambled eggs with bits of spinach mixed in, and the toppings for cereals. Very helpful front desk for restaurant recommendations that you can easily walk to. The hotel is located fairly close to the Yellowstone Park entrance. Many touches of kindness, but perhaps the most notable was the chair assist for handicapped guests in the outdoor pool. Yes, it was too cool to use now, but notable. Due diligence: there are some issues that might have lowered to score to four dots, but so many other things were above expectations that it earned 5 dots. 1. The breakfast area is too small for a hotel this size in a busy season. I saw a few people taking breakfast back to their rooms. The outside tables are okay, but on a busy street. 2. The room HVAC works very well, but can be a bit noisy at high settings, as the maid had set them before our check in. We didn't need the room that cool, and turned off the fan. Very comfortable. 3. Okay, in a perfect world, the fresh yogurt would be plain flavor, not vanilla, but that's. I think most American yogurts are too sweet (and yes, I am an American.). But it was still a nice touch, and good. ..and please keep the fresh fruit, biscuits, and sausage. So -- in a pricey, seasonal town, this place provided very good quality and value. We'd be happy to stay again if in the area.

"Overpriced, Renovations done on the cheap. But good location in town"
cthewest, 20 Septembre 2019

Do not recommend. Old motor lodge renovated on a dime. Two buildings, one with 3 floors, and no elevators. Pool and hot tub are outdoors. Lobby is miniscule with no bathroom. (had been driving for a while, finally found the tiny lobby, asked for restroom and was sent next door to laundromat...). VERY small breakfast area, (took a picture but can't really tell cause chairs are all up on tables). Watch out for alarm being turned on by cleaning folks...small button on top of clock is easy to press in when they clean and I didn't check it so alarm went off at midnight). Few signs to the lobby, but it's at then end of the longer building that faces Gibbon. Ice machine in our building (the one with 3 floors) is on the landing between the 2nd and 3rd floors. Bathroom is very small, and toilet is the cheapest on the market...low with small rounded seat...so if you have any knee, hips, or back problems good luck getting on/off. (no grab bars). There was a microwave, small fridge, and coffee maker in the room). Pricey town being next to Yellowstone (the west entrance is about 5 minutes away). It is within walking distance of several good restaurants/bars. When I booked it about 3 months ago, it was about the cheapest in town. Don't know how the others compare re: rooms and amenities, but we paid $300/night (incl tax) for 5 nights (Mon-Fri) for nothing special. Never did partake of the "free" breakfast cause it was way too crowded when we got there between 6:30 and 7:00. At least the coffee is in the lobby so didn't have to elbow through the crowd. Our room was 1/2 floor down, so our window was high up in the room and looked at the bottom of the cars in the parking lot). I've posted a few pictures to give an idea of the place.

"Low rent feel in a high-priced town"
SethE56, 14 Septembre 2019

Older motel (think 1960s vintage BW exterior) which appears to have been updated in the 1980s or 1990s. LIKES: Large vanity area with good lighting DISLIKES: No lamp on side of room near refrigerator, making it exceptionally dark. Slightly lumpy mattress Obvious subflooring damage in front of one bed; it bounced and creaked like a trampoline--indicating someone put down new carpet without replacing the flooring. Breakfast room is small (considering the number of guest rooms). While it's hard to complain about a 'free breakfast', (it's rolled into the room rate so it's technically not free), it was sub-par compared to 'free' breakfasts at other BW motels and compared to other brands in the Yellowstone area. SUMMARY: Definitely a "low-rent" feel in a high-priced town. Will look elsewhere next time.

"Overpriced"
Smudge2014, 07 Septembre 2019

Had a room in the basement in the back block. Basic room except that we had the added feature of being woken at 6 am by pipes knocking behind our vanity area every time someone turned the water on in the two floors above. Breakfast was inedible the sausage a pale grey colour the scramble egg bounced when it hit the plate. By far the best thing about this hotel is the Spanish tapas restaurant across the road. The best food I have eaten in three weeks in the USA. Can someone please get the receptionists to take of their caps and tidy up a little.

"Old but nice"
Brooks H, 03 Septembre 2019

My wife was a little concerned when we first pulled up, a older place with some newer units in the back. She wanted a newer unit, but it was not available. Our room was very nice and super clean, they do a great job keeping the rooms updated and clean. We have stayed here twice now. This second trip we used a pet friendly room, very nice, ground floor across from park with pool bags. No extra charge for the dog. Make sure to try the huckleberry bars and other homemade snacks at the front desk. The only negative issue was the breakfast, real basic, it needs to be expanded.

"Awful "
Cheryl67, 27 Août 2019

This motel has almost nothing to recommend. We stayed in the one “suite” with a bedroom, kitchen, and sitting area. Only the sitting area, where our 11-year-old daughter was sleeping on the couch bed, had a/c. It was HOT so we had to leave the bedroom door open all the time to get any of the cooler air. It still wasn't cool enough and complaints to the front desk the next morning resulted only in a giant fan, which took up what little space remained in the tiny bedroom and only moved the hot air around. The kitchen was bare minimum- no dishwasher or dish towel and 4 plates, bowls, etc. Basically, except for the large, clean, apparently renovated bathroom, the whole set up was vintage 1970s seedy motel. At $300/night, this was outrageous. Yuck. Don't stay here.

"Good stay"
EJRTRIP, 26 Août 2019

One of the chain options in west Yellowstone. Very expensive for a basic room but in line with the other hotels in the same area. The breakfast is good but not enough seating area. The outside seating is nice but cool in the 45 degree mornings that are normal in the summer. You probably won't use the pool even though it is heated. It is within walking distance of most of the town

"Older Best Western"
Russ-Bonnie, 18 Août 2019

Definitely an older BW property, convenient located (short walk) close to restaurant and shopping. This property is two story with no elevator so ask for ground floor if you need it when making your reservation. They have very few rooms available if you're using BW reward points so start looking for those rooms early in your planning.

"The worst ever!"
cornwild1, 18 Août 2019

The bed was broken (springs had sprung), the multi colored paint on the walls was only to patch the big holes, paper thin walls (see flop house), could hear other guests partying and fighting until 11:30 pm and the 45min shower at midnight, the small holes in the walls were not patched at all

"Good location for west entry to the Park"
arpmdx, 31 Juillet 2019

Good location for entry into Yellowstone from the west. Motel 2 stories and no elevator. Located beside a large sports field which is nice. Not a new motel but recent refurbishment. Breakfast is served and there is a nice patio that can be used.

"Adequate"
jbeanfrost, 31 Juillet 2019

This room was really not worth what we paid but was comparable to the area. We could walk to the main area of “downtown” W Yellowstone. The room was clean enough but the lobby and breakfast were across the parking lot. Parking is lacking. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly.

"BIG DISAPPOINTMENT"
Mark R, 29 Juillet 2019

This was NOT $300.00 per night room!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was a rip off plain and simple. Sub par BW facility. Room was sub standard any where. Carpet ripped by the front door, grout falling out of the bathroom walls, unending noise from the room above. The list goes on. I have been BW Rewards member since 2012 when we signed on Colorado. At that time we were enticed with the offer of stay three nights - get the next for free. Two more stays later and we were told that it went to a points system. This was on the same damned trip! Finally reached the first plateau and was told that we did not have enough points because the levels had been increased. Have stayed at BW in several cities from California to the east coast and many places in between. Be honest - this plan is a joke to entice people to stay at BW isn't it? Where are my rewards for being a loyal customer since 2012?

"Very friendly staff"
Ralph B, 26 Juillet 2019

Once again we found a very clean room with a staff doing everything possible to make our stay enjoyable but this time they have added many new delicious things to their breakfast menu including biscuits with sausage gravy.

"Dirty room and bathroom"
hiker2705, 22 Juillet 2019

After check in I go to my bed and something felt off the bed. When I took it, it was either a pill or a dog treat. No clue. In the bathroom, I take a towel off the shelves, and a sticker belonging to I guess people before us had left from a sneaker they had bought, felt with the towel. This proves it is not cleaned!!! Plus to complement the night, there was this moth flying over our bed all night long. Oh God!!! Only good thing was the breakfast that was very tasty, if only they had a room accomodating people staying in the hotel which of course they did not. So we had to go fast in order to let other people in. What a nightmare!! Never again!!!

"Comfortable Bed for $300"
Teresa L, 22 Juillet 2019

Heat/AC couldn't be set reliably. Seemed to do their preprogrammed thing, way too hot and then way too cold! Breakfast was horrible, an area meant to Seat 15-20 was crammed with 50 getting cold yucky food! I left and came back 15' later, nothing had happened improved. No bathroom in the lobby! Only thing good was the bed was comfortable. Had to walk to a laundromat and that restroom was like some of the outhouses in the parks.

"Great stay "
713nancyw, 21 Juillet 2019

Room was very nice, clean, comfortable. Breakfast very good. Enjoyed sitting outside on deck with heaters in the morning for breakfast. Kind staff. Free coffee and juice served 24 hours in lobby. Close to town and park entrance

"Very glad we stayed here,,,,,,"
SandF2012, 16 Juillet 2019

We stayed at The Best Western Western on Gibbon Avenue in West Yellowstone Montana for 4 nights in early June so we could tour Yellowstone. If you're looking for a hotel near the park please consider staying here. Our room which was on the main floor was very spacious with a spotless bathroom and we were able to parallel park our car right in front of our room. The staff was great; very knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. A complimentary hot buffet breakfast was included with many excellent selections. But, be forewarned, any accommodations near Yellowstone are pricey; it's a prime tourist area. (We also made our reservations three months before we left.) We enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay at this Best Western again if we're in or near the area

"AMAZING STAY AND HOSPITALITY!"
iamsaravaba, 05 Juillet 2019

Rooms were clean and spacious 5 min from park entrance. Limited, but good food options near by (that's expected since this place is quite secluded). Above all, the hospitality by the folks at the front desk was awesome. They went above and beyond and took care of the guests. Will stay here again.

"Debbie Schuster"
Debbieleeschuster, 04 Juillet 2019

We had an amazing time! The hotel had a cookout for the guests and we sat on the deck and watched the Fourth of July parade and then fireworks! Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and comfortable needs!

"Fine place to sleep"
BellinghamBiker, 01 Juillet 2019

It's overpriced for what you get. Then again, as you've probably learned, all hotels in West Yellowstone are 2-4x more expensive than comparable hotels elsewhere. This Best Western is more of a motel than a hotel. Rooms were clean but dated. The free breakfast is nice, however the dining area is very small and cramped. For the price and location I would stay here again.

"Nice place"
Renita E, 29 Juin 2019

Clean and quiet just a few blocks from the awesome shops downtown. Only downfall was the pool and hot tub were not open yet. Breakfast was good. Just 20 minutes to the main park road. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed our stay.

"Great Staff, Room and Experience"
Maps788707, 21 Juin 2019

Our children and grandchildren spent five nights here in June...28 people (14 under 10 years)...seven rooms. Susan and her staff are superb hosts. She is very personable and accomodating. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The park across the street is an added feature for children to run and play. The breakfast is just right though very busy. Overall, we would recommend and return.

"Staff and rooms"
Shaan S, 21 Juin 2019

overall this hotel was quite the experience. I was expecting this hotel to be dirty and yucky but i was proven wrong. the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and i felt very complacent. but the rooms aren't the only aspect of the hotel that surprised me, the hospitality of the staff is astounding. they were all very benign and easy to work with. i specifically want to talk about susan and hall, they were very easy to work with when situating and problem my family had. 10/10 experience.

"Great Hospitality from Susan and Hall!!!"
meharrangi, 21 Juin 2019

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. When we got to the complimentary breakfast buffet we were greeted by the incredibly kind and caring employees Susan and Hall who engaged in lively conversation and recommended us their personal favorite snacks in the buffet. 10/10 would recommend this hotel.

"Convenient and comfortable stay!"
55bhavika, 16 Juin 2019

Very convenient location near to the west entrance. Rooms are spacious enough for small family. Also, Clean rooms and v friendly staff. Enough places around to eat. All in all affordable stay at a very pricey area .

"Good Hotel with Good staff and service."
Guide07297384382, 15 Juin 2019

Good Hotel with good service and amenities. Nearer to park and some restaurants. Would recommend for families to Yellowstoner visit. Free Hot breakfast, but same menu very less options for vegetarians.

"Best stay ever!"
R3341SHpatriciah, 10 Juin 2019

Our stay was so great! From check in to check out, we were treated so well. The front desk staff were pleasant and always ready to help with anything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

"BEST 'Find'"
Mary K, 07 Juin 2019

This is the best place! Wonderful full breakfast (sausage, eggs, potatoes, sausage gravy, biscuits, waffles, oatmeal with choice of toppings). Susan, front desk manager is AWESOME! She is so friendly and helpful. She greets everyone as they come through the door, asks how you slept, asks if you need anything, constantly smiling while being of service and helpful. Her husband works there and is also very pleasant and helpful. The girls were getting hot chocolate and he told them where to find whipped cream! Susan bakes cookies for afternoon break, and he went back and got the last 2 cookies from the day before to give us. You feel like you're with family. The rooms are clean and spacious. Will definitely stay here again.

"worst best wesern"
Quest37810849232, 07 Juin 2019

the front desk on check in was 2 girls training from Jamaica and they acted like we were intruding to be there, the microwave didn't spin and caught my popcorn bag on fire, the swimming pool and hot tub were not working and the breakfast was terrible, hard eggs that were rubbery, extra dry scrambled eggs, blackened bananas to ripe for banana bread

"Uptown BW"
Don B, 06 Juin 2019

This hotel is an older hotel and is off strip for West Yellowstone. There are multiple choices in this town, due to the proximity of the West gate to Yellowstone. We stopped in during a weeknight due to needing a place to stay and not having decided where we would come out of Yellowstone. The owner of the business was at the front desk and told my wife that cleanliness was their utmost priority and he was truthful. It is an older hotel that is a little worn, but is very clean. Please note there is not a lot of parking around the hotel and you may end up in the street. Staff was wonderful.

"Great place to stay!"
Sue P, 06 Juin 2019

This is our favorite place to stay when coming to West Yellowstone before entering the park. The rooms are always clean and the beds are good. The breakfast is great and the staff is always friendly and accommodating.

"Pet friendly, pleasant staff"
Daniel W, 25 Mai 2019

We had originally booked online at the other Best Western hotel, but had lost the pet request in the process. They had no pet friendly rooms available so we checked here. It was more expensive, and I believe an older hotel, but they had a room when we needed it. The beds were very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The hotel is right across the street from a park for walking the dog. The bad thing about this is all the jerk owners who are unwilling to clean up after their dogs. A flashlight for a 1 am walk-me call was necessary. Plan accordingly if you have this need. A breakfast is provided. The best thing there was the waffles with the “flapjack drizzle”. This is the only place on the trip we encountered it, but it really worked well for a flavor kick. The cheese omelette might have been good, but the cheese sauce used was not to my taste. The kielbasa sausage was also good. The report I got on the biscuits and gravy was to avoid them. The gravy was salty and the biscuit had an odd texture. Not having eaten it, I'm not sure what that means. Overall, I still give the stay a thumbs up, mostly grateful they had a room when we needed it.

Mark G, 25 Mai 2019

Great little motel that's conveniently located a few minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone park. Comfortable beds, good rates, and a great free hot breakfast! We'd definitely recommend this place.

"Enjoyable stay"
Mary Jeanette W, 24 Mai 2019

Excellent stay for travels to Yellowstone. Incredible staff. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Rooms very clean and comfortable. David, Susan, Vicki and Halwere AUsome and always make you feel at home!

"Super friendly staff"
mkbATL, 21 Mai 2019

We stayed in the new building for 3 nights. No elevator, but a clean, comfortable room. The entire staff, from front desk, to breakfast room to maintenance staff we passed in the parking lot all stopped to wish us a good day and to ask if we needed anything. Stands out from many of the offerings in West Yellowstone

"Great place"
luker1532018, 19 Mai 2019

Stayed here on our way to see Old Faithful. Great staff. Greeted us all the time. Pet friendly, gave us a little treat for our little dog. Offered us even more at breakfast time. Breakfast was awesome. Kept the food coming even as breakfast was coming to a close. Best syrup for waffles...it's on the table in a squeeze bottle. Dining area employees were busy everywhere constantly greeting people and assisting guests. The rooms were very clean and sound proof.. loved our stay even if it was only for a day. Will definitely recommend to friends, and will definitely stay here again... thank you for you professional and friendly employees. They were great!!!

"Great for location to Yellowstone access"
Kevin W, 12 Mai 2019

Great friendly service. Clean rooms. Stayed 4 nights. Would stay again. Become a Best Western member and book through them for the best rate. Staff helpful. Walking distance to welcome center, shops, and dining.

"Yellowstone "home""
hwong1575, 21 Octobre 2018

The staff hospitality made this inn enjoyable and a great value. The complimentary breakfast was very good and a time saver to facilitate a full schedule to visit the park. The location is just a few blocks from the park entrance and the visitor center. Although parking would not have been an issue, it was less than a 3 block walk to most of the eateries in town.

"Excellent Stay for Yellowstone Visit"
spitzy135, 19 Octobre 2018

Our three night stay at this Best Western really exceeded our expectations. We like Best Western accommodations because of their high levels of cleanliness and value. They generally have comfortable rooms and beds, nice extras like a refrigerator and microwave in the room, free Wi-Fi, and include a hot breakfast. This location was no exception. Like others have commented, the hospitality here was outstanding! Very friendly service at the front desk and at the morning breakfast buffet. The front desk made recommendations for restaurants and even had menus handy. They also gave us a map of the local area which was very helpful. We had an early start each day, so the 6am breakfast worked perfectly with our plans. By visiting in late September, and leaving at the crack of dawn, you definitely beat the crowds in Yellowstone. This hotel is very conveniently located in town, near popular restaurants and shops. We easily walked to dinner each evening. We enjoyed Bullwinkles, Pete's Rocky Mountain Pizza & Pasta, and The Firehole BBQ Co., all within a 5 minute walk. Gas stations are also right across the street, and are very reasonably priced as compared to the park. We chose accommodations in West Yellowstone because the hotels were updated, looked more comfortable and were less expensive than those in the park. All of the hotels in West Yellowstone are expensive because of their proximity to the park, and the limited tourist season. This hotel was reasonably priced compared to many others, and much cheaper than staying in the park. If you book early you are more likely to get a lower rate. We booked about 9 months out. Since we left early each day, were had no trouble making up the driving difference by not staying in the park. We also saw several elk each day in the mornings and on our way back to the hotel in the West Yellowstone area, not far from the park entrance. No need for binoculars, they were right near the road! If you are considering a visit to Yellowstone, we highly recommend this Best Western location. It was a perfect stay for our fantastic Yellowstone vacation.

"Awesome front desk"
IgnatiusTForthright, 10 Octobre 2018

This is a fairly unremarkable Best Western, a bit dated but very clean. What prompted this review was the hardworking front desk team. We arrived late and needed to find a place to eat. West Yellowstone rolls up the sidewalks at 10 p.m. The front desk guys rallied to help us find the one open place (the Slippery Otter). We weren't impressed by the restaurant but it was hot food after 10 p.m. The breakfast was super crowded so we took a pass but the two gentlemen at the front desk earned a five star review. Job well done.

"Unethical"
WordlyTraveler44, 10 Octobre 2018

We reserved st $249 per night plus tax. When we arrived the rate was only $199 per night. They refused to adjust the price. I found that unethical. I expect to be treated fairly. The women who work at the desk were very nice. The man would not adjust the price. Will not stay in abets Westerns based on this experience.

"Good room"
736edb, 09 Octobre 2018

Good room near the Park. I always ask for the top floor. I hate it when people walk loud at late hours. Room was clean and spacious. Very quiet. Breakfast was average for the chains. Office personnel were friendly. No issues.

"Perfect Stop for Yellowstone"
nsander219, 07 Octobre 2018

Lovely hotel staff - friendly and helpful. Our room was in the back annex on the third floor. Quite a large room and very quiet - apart from one East Asian who must have been deaf getting ready for his early bus pick up (but only there one night). Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold kept replenshed as necessary. Breakfast was busy but the staff kept the tables clear and quickly got people seated. Parking was tight but there is plenty on the adjacent street which we preferred to use for easy leaving each morning.

"Disappointing stay"
Mavis J, 05 Octobre 2018

The good things about this hotel is clean rooms and nice breakfast. The not so good things about this hotel is the parking. Not a lot of room to manuver anything over a compact size vehicle, and parking seems limited. My room was also very noisy. I was in the old part on the bottom floor (even though I had requested a top floor when booking 5 months in advance). With the design of hotel I had two different rooms above mine, one on each side, and one on the back. Every time someone flushed the toilet or turned on the faucet it would make a loud noise. If someone talked, coughed, sneezed or had the tv on, you heard it. People were not being rude or overly loud, just super thin walls. Maybe others have stayed on the top floor on in the newer part, but after 4 nights of no sleep I will not be staying here again.

"Nicest hotel staff!"
Julie F, 30 Septembre 2018

We got three rooms here and spent a night on our trip to Yellowstone. The staff was the nicest and friendliest we've ever encountered. Gretchen and Bill handled the check in and they were warm and friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable so we got a good night's sleep. The next morning at breakfast Sue and her husband were amazing. The breakfast was a standard hotel breakfast but Sue went out of her way to make sure we had a table, to make sure it was clean, and to make sure we had all the food we needed. And she was so nice as we checked out and left. Kudos to the hotel for finding such friendly caring staff.

"A great visit to West Yellowstone"
Neil M, 29 Septembre 2018

Our stay at Yellowstone was the end of an awesome road trip for my son and I before he went back to University in Calgary. He had not been to Yellowstone and I had a brief visit in the spring. I was able to use my Best Western Rewards points so it offset a good portion of our gas expenses for the entire trip. Great place to stay with clean rooms and very friendly staff

"Dog friendly"
Ruth K, 29 Septembre 2018

We had a great stay. The staff made it easy for us with our 2 dogs and it was comfortable and we had a great room. Breakfast was good too. It was quiet and there were several restaurant options within walking distance.

"Great location, comfortable & clean room, friendly staff and good breakfast"
Adrienne M, 20 Septembre 2018

We stayed 2 nights in September 2018. It is only minutes from the West entrance to Yellowstone so the location is fantastic. We had a large and very comfortable room complete with a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The beds were comfortable, the a/c-heater was quiet. Everything was very clean and comfortable. We thought the breakfast was bountiful and the coffee was actually quite good. Over and above all this, the front desk and breakfast staff were as cheerful, gracious, welcoming and friendly as one would ever want. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here.

"The location drives the price"
Tim A, 13 Septembre 2018

The hotel was clean and the service was good, but the price definitely comes from the limited options in West Yellowstone not from the quality of the hotel. The rooms were older and mattress not the most comfortable and the breakfast was lacking, but the rooms were clean, the front desk staff was cheerful and helpful.

"Friendly"
rlg8850, 08 Septembre 2018

We stayed at this hotel with our 2 granddaughters while on a trip to Our Yellowstone. Yes the hotel is dated but it was clean and the staff were friendly. The front desk staff was manned by 2 older couples. One of the males also served as the breakfast nook Sargent making sure everything was full and no one took anything out. The pool was clean and a little the small & the hot tub was working. It was close walking distance to main street shopping. Nice place for a 1 night quick stay. I did leave my $200 costa sunglasses there which the returned to me the following week by a great service called send it home. I would stay there again

"You're paying for the location"
Art A, 03 Septembre 2018

This hotel is very dated with exterior metal stairs. I would never have stayed here if it weren't for it's closeness to Yellowstone. It is only a few miles from the Western Gate entrance. It is clean and there is a good free breakfast. But I think all the hotels here are pretty expensive.

"...it's market's law, isn't it ??"
steve_b2011, 27 Août 2018

My wife and me spent three nights at this hotel during our visit to Yellowstone National Park. I will not spend too much time describing all the cons of this place (low quality/price ratio, motel-type structure, dark rooms (at least the one we were assigned at ground level), questionable security, small and overcrowded breakfast room, etc.). I will focus instead on some issues that definitely made my evaluation drop at "poor" level: - At our arrival I discovered that my credit card had been mistakenly disabled by my bank for security reasons (I live in Europe and they were supposing a possible cloning in the US). The man at the reception (possibly the property owner) stared at me as if I had just stolen his wallet... When I presented a second credit card on another circuit (and this was accepted as guarantee) he eventually relaxed but immediately took the opportunity to tell me that I would not receive any Best Western rewards points as I made the reservation through a third-party website... "Ok, fair enough" I said to myself, in the end I was on holiday and did not want to pay too much attention to a rude employee... - On our second morning I spotted a big insect inside our room (see photo). I asked politely at the reception to remove it, check the situation and if necessary sanitise the room. When we returned back to the hotel in the afternoon, the insect was exactly in the same position. I urged again the reception to solve the problem and a guy (possibly a supervisor) came to remove it (it turned out to be a big longhorn beetle or similar). He apologised for the inconvenience, promised us that they would have paid more attention during the room cleaning the next day, but confessed that he could not guarantee that other insects would not sneak into the room through the front door !!! - Finally, on our departure, I asked the lady at the reception to charge my bill on my first credit card (which had been re-enabled in the meanwhile). The lady made two payment requests (which were both authorised) but was not able to associate the invoice to them, so I eventually had to pay my stay with my second credit card. However, despite my recommendations, the hotel did not promptly release the deposit of more than 1800$ requested on my first card! Three days after our departure I called the reception asking for clarifications and they answered me that they were not holding any payment guarantee and I should solve MY problem (due to THEIR mistake...!!) with my bank or credit card company... As a result, I was forced to spend the remaining 11 days of our holiday with a credit card with a significant allowance reduction... I noticed that the Hotel Manager wrote in the answer to other TA reviews "prices are high but we offer close vicinity to Yellowstone Park": in other words "that's market's law, baby". Based on my experience, my suggestion to other travellers is "since market's law include competition, exploit it and for 300$/night choose another place for your stay in West Yellowstone..."

"Awesome stay"
Abhishekh S, 12 Août 2018

A nice hotel in West Yellowstone, 2 blocks away from Yellowstone National Park west entrance gate. Friendly staff, nice breakfast as usual. The room was very clean and well organized. Our request for additional soaps and blankets were immediately accommodated.

"Very nice but too expensive."
Gary R, 08 Août 2018

The best place we have stayed, but the priced is considerably above our normal price range. We needed a last minute place to stay, and were happy to grab the vacance at the peek of the season. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast selection.

"Yellowstone vacation."
Warren M, 07 Août 2018

Prior to our vacation i had made a couple of calls to this location ensure that all of the booking stuff had gone through correctly. Ans it had. Upon our arival to the front desk Bill was already aware who I was and had everything ready for a quick and easy check in. The next morning we were very surprised by the large breakfast bar and all of the options. Easy and friendly checkout started a great day in Yellowstone park. Great job

"Great Location!"
Pam S, 06 Août 2018

Wonderful location - located close to Yellowstone entrance. Staff was great with restaurant suggestions, tips for Yellowstone, etc. West Yellowstine had plenty of restaurants, a Catholic Church, and stores within walking area. Our room was,a small room with a queen bed. Very clean and nice! The breakfast was a typical Best Western breakfast. I would stay here again.

"Decent but so expensive "
Rachel I, 04 Août 2018

We stayed two nights at the Best Western Weston during our honeymoon road trip that included a visit to Yellowstone Park. The evening staff was extremely welcoming and friendly, providing a great recommendation for dinner and offering cookies. The room was clean and well maintained and you could tell that it had been recently renovated (bathroom tile was modern, soap / shampoo dispensers in the bathroom, etc) but you could also tell that the building was old. We stayed in room 114, which was wheelchair accessible and perhaps larger than the others? It's located toward the back of the property so noise wasn't much of an issue. Breakfast was decent, sausage, eggs, waffles, breads, and biscuits and gravy. The breakfast room was cramped and difficult to navigate with multiple people, but the outdoor patio was nice when the weather allowed. The pool was a nice amenity, but overall I feel like $650 for two people staying two nights was a bit extreme. I'd gladly pay $100-$200 less for a hotel 10 minutes farther from the park.

"Close to Yellowstone"
franh24, 30 Juillet 2018

We stayed two nights while visiting Yellowstone. The location is great. It's close to the entrance to the park and walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The rates are very high for such an average hotel. But I guess you're paying for the location. The rooms are clean and the WiFi is good. Breakfast was so so and the dining room is way too small.

"Walking distance to Yellowstone entrancncr"
magiepay, 29 Juillet 2018

Clean hotel Friendly and help full staff Great breakfast , starts at 6;00 am 3 min from entrance to Yellowstone!!! Great beds and bathrooms, they can improve on pillow quality , but a wonderful hotel if you planing to visit the park !!!! Love it!!

"Visit Yellowstone "
Hely T, 28 Juillet 2018

Very basic hotel. Needs refreshing! Filthy carpets, not very clean Cleaning service of the room is very poor. They hardly clean the room and toilet. No service. Personal at breakfast is friendly and helpfull. Breakfast room too small. You hardly can sit and walk. Breakfast is also poor! But we don't have choice and I think they know that the people need place to sleep overnight

"Very close to Yellowstone"
Elaine U, 27 Juillet 2018

We stayed in 2 rooms at the Best Western Weston Inn for one night recently. The accommodations were average but very expensive. It's very close to the West Yellowstone entrance to the park, which is its greatest asset.

"Excellent stay "
Michelle R, 25 Juillet 2018

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Yellowstone. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure with plenty of hot water. We stayed in a room that faced a large park with a play structure, which would be great for families traveling with children. It was also great to walk our dog in. The breakfast was standard hotel breakfast but the waffle maker were the highlight for our family. There are tables in front of the hotel with heaters, which make for a great place to eat breakfast or relax after a day of sightseeing. The hotel was also within walking distance to town. It was also just a few blocks to the west entrance to Yellowstone. I would recommend this place!

"Great Hotel"
jeaniemv, 18 Juillet 2018

This is not the newest hotel but it is very clean and the staff are extremely nice. The rooms are well accommodated and the breakfast is delicious. I highly recommend this hotel. If a hotel is particularly good I give it high marks but almost always give an average mark for value for the money, however this hotel is well worth every penny you pay and the value for the money is excellent.

"Pay for the location - and nothing else"
Krugg31, 17 Juillet 2018

The price we paid was really excessive for the quality of the accommodation and the service received. A dark and dampish room with dated furniture, a very poor breakfast buffet and smiling but ineffective service. For instance when asking for butter for breakfast we were told there would be some the next day ! And even that didn't happen. But the location is excellent, five minutes from the west entrance to the park.

"Great Staff"
c b, 16 Juillet 2018

The stand out at this motel was the friendly staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly and went out if their way to make us feel welcome. We stayed in the kitchenette suite. The kitchen was convenient, but unfortunately we couldn't use the sofa bed in the living room area because it can't fully extend without hitting the TV cabinet. That made sleeping space very tricky for our family. Also be aware that there is no TV or air conditioning unit in the bedroom of this suite. All in all we had a good (albeit expensive) stay.

"Quiet and Friendly"
Richard T, 10 Juillet 2018

The property is old but well maintained. The room was clean and large. It provided a great resting spot because of park located across street that my kids loved, quiet with no street noise, and pool to get the wiggles out. It is close to shopping and restaurants. The breakfast was as expected for Best Western. Best of all was the friendly and helpful staff. July makes all motels expensive. It would be more affordable in the off season.

"Great hotel"
David B, 09 Juillet 2018

Stayed here for only 2days but it was great. The staff went out of there way to correct some incorrect reservations and saved our vacation. Rooms were exceptional as were the beds. Most convenient location to Yellowstone and shops in the area! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Dave Borland

"Overpriced"
penelope_pit_stop123, 16 Juin 2018

I paid well over 2x more here for one night than any other best Western. It is just a basic motel with a great location to Yellowstone. Breakfast was good. Our room was comfortable and clean but I didn't like the sheets, they felt old and unpressed. $347 for 1 night was too much, but I guess it's all about location.

"Unexpected, Surprising Experience"
Donna N, 15 Juin 2018

The AC in our room was not cooling. The hotel manager, David, took it upon himself to exchange it with a working one. These units are big and heavy, but he carried the working one up 3 flights of stairs and the non working one down 3 flights of stairs so that we would be comfortable for the night. Not only did he surpass our expectations, but he managed to keep all the rooms occupied by inconveniencing himself. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms clean and well furnished. A truly wonderful experience.

"Great base location for touring Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks "
Jkffoster, 02 Juin 2018

We stayed 5 nights at this location as our base for touring Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. The rooms were cleaned and had encased mattress cover on 1 of the 2 beds in our room. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. They provided wonderful suggestions and was always making sure you were having a good time. The Breakfast area can get crowded but with the outdoor patio area there was plenty of places to find a spot to enjoy the plentiful breakfast. Hotel is about 35-60 minutes from Old Faithful depending on traffic and animal crossings and about 2 1/2 hours to Grand Teton. This is a definite recommendation if you planning to enjoy the National Parks or just stopping by at West Yellowstone, Montana.

"Great Place to Stay Before or After Visiting Yellowstone National Park"
Stefanie H, 23 Mai 2018

The price is right, the service terrific, the employees friendly, large room, extensive breakfast, close to other amenities - it's a perfect place to stay before or after going into Yellowstone. Highly recommended.

"Conveniently located, expensive, friendly and accomodating staff."
MaryJo822, 21 Mai 2018

All the hotels around Yellowstone are expensive, so not much can be done about that. The BW Weston Inn is located close to the west entrance to Yellowstone Park, with restaurants, shopping, and gas close by. The staff were warm and friendly, very nice heated deck for enjoying a cocktail. Our room was very small wtih poor lighting.

"Great Place to Stay"

The price is right, the service terrific, the employees friendly, large room, extensive breakfast, close to other amenities - it's a perfect place to stay before or after going into Yellowstone. Highly recommended.

"Great base to visit Yellowstone NP"
mist_net43, 23 Octobre 2017

The staff could not have been more helpful and the room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast available early so we could get into the NP early. One lady on reception was great and arranged for use to use the dining room for group meetings on an evening and even brought us home made cookies!!

"West Yellowstone"
hudsonw439, 14 Octobre 2017

Very pleasant stay, managers were friendly and had Coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate available. Room was comfortable and quiet. Managers recommended a great restaurant called Bullwinkles that was within walking distance. Good food! Would stay at this Best Western again!!

"Fly Drive USA"
Pete80_13, 14 Octobre 2017

A typical USA motel, good rooms, has an outdoor pool and hot tub. The pool is not large but we were lucky as no one else was using it. Complimentary breakfast and access to drinks 24hrs, tea, coffee, hot chocolate. Good out door seating area although a lot of lorrys passing as the main road to Bozeman.

"Really good place to stay"
Richard J, 12 Octobre 2017

The Best Western Weston Inn is an excellent option for a stay in West Yellowstone. It's conveniently located just off N Canyon Street where the majority of the shops and restaurants are. The room was nice and featured a fridge, microwave, HD TV with DirecTV (lots of channels) and free Wi-Fi, but no safe. The complimentary breakfast set you up for the day with a good selection including scrambled eggs, sausage patties, hash browns, cereals, oatmeal, biscuits & gravy, bread, waffles, yoghurt and fruit. The staff were very welcoming and friendly.

"Great Location"
Bev W, 10 Octobre 2017

this Best Western is in West Yellowstone, MT. the gateway to Yellowstone National Park. Hotel was very clean and served our lodging needs while on a road trip. Friendly staff on each shift who were knowledgable about places to eat and local services. We especially liked that we could walk to many shops while visiting and leave our vehicle parked at the hotel.

"Pleasant stay."
220AnneMargaret, 10 Octobre 2017

Very convenient being so close to Yellowstone National Park. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had a lot of choice. The staff were very helpful. It was a nice gesture to have free drinks and biscuits after coming back from a day in Yellowstone Park.

"The staff members were excellent with their help"
Cynthia B, 09 Octobre 2017

We needed to stay an additional night and the associate made this happen. She was there when we checked in and there was a gentleman there too and he made a suggestion for a steak place and it was great. The next morning this lady helped us with travel plans, I cannot remember her name but she was really great too. Also the next morning we left and had to return because my husband forgot his wallet and she escorted us to the room and there was his wallet, right on the floor. All of them were so wonderful to us. You should stay at this hotel when you visit Yellowstone.

"Basic and old property "
Tweetcoz, 06 Octobre 2017

Probably the last property on the main strip. The town is small anyway so nothing is too far away. Room on the expensive side for what it is. We paid half the amount in SLC for similar. Everything in this town has prices marked up for the tourists, even maccas. Room door handle opens the other way. We struggled a few times only to work it out much later. Internet is shocking. Breakfast room too small. Too crowded and people queuing. First morning we started at 6am and it was very busy. Next morning we had bfast at 6.45am and it was fairly empty. Nothing fantastic. Very basic. Hot food not great. Shower has no adjustments so it was quite a hard massage on the body. Can't adjust the pressure. Staff very nice.

"Nice"
DellaE, 05 Octobre 2017

Rooms are comfortable and clean. This is our second time staying here, last year we stayed her with our granddaughters. Breakfast is good, although the breakfast room is long and narrow and can get crowded.

"Pet friendly visit"
Sharlene S, 25 Septembre 2017

Had a great stay at the Best Western Weston Inn with our dog! Room was extremely clean and across from a park for easy dog-walking. Breakfast was standard continental with biscuits and gravy, sausage and eggs, oatmeal, waffles, cereal, and mixed baked items - nothing great but not bad either. Short walk to main strip with bars and restaurants. Friendly staff. Would stay again if in area!

"Great hotel in West Yellowstone"
nbruceSeattle, 24 Septembre 2017

Best hotel we stayed at on a weeklong trip to Yellowstone. Very comfortable room and mattress, very friendly staff and complete breakfast. Location is really close to the best area of the park- trust me! We saw it all!

"good stay"
A6234BOrong, 22 Septembre 2017

good stay, nice helpful staff, hotel is older so room décor is a bit dated but everything was clean and functioned properly so I would recommend this hotel. Breakfast area was a bit on the small side and the selection wasn't as big as some others but OK overall. I rated the value average only because this hotel is expensive due to it's location next to Yellowstone.

"Most Accommodating Hotel Ever"
Matt D, 22 Septembre 2017

We toured Yellowstone for 3 days and stayed here 3 nights. Extremely friendly service, nice, clean rooms with all the amenities. Breakfast bar is excellent with home cooked breakfasts with a kitchen staff. Our group of 6 usually has a glass of wine and some cheese and crackers before dining out. We asked if we could use their breakfast room and without hesitation they did all they could to accommodate us as well as giving us nice warm cookies while we sat! The morning staff of Jaime and David were extremely nice (we later learned they were the managers) and the evening staff were just as friendly! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants the friendliest place to stay right outside of the Yellowstone west gate!

"A friendly, comfortable place to stay--especially for mobility-impaired travelers"
Chava W, 20 Septembre 2017

We really enjoyed our two nights at the best Western Weston. The owners and staff are very friendly, greeting us with home-made cookies. They invited us to join them and other guests in the evening around a firepit. Although we did not take advantage of this, we appreciated being invited. Since one of us uses a power wheel-chair, we especially appreciated the handicapped-accessible room, with all the necessary bars in the bathroom and shower. I believe the motel has two such rooms. We had dedicated handicapped parking right outside our room. In addition, the (small) swimming pool has a chair lift to enable mobility-impaired guests to get into the pool. We also got an excellent recommendation about a place to go for dinner--the Buffalo Bar, with good food and local beer. Although there is no guest laundry, there is a laundromat next door.

"so very close to Yellowstone"
Karol W, 20 Septembre 2017

This is a nice hotel. Terrific staff. Friendly and quite helpful. A bit older of a hotel, but well maintained. Everything was great, but I think the mattress was a bit hard, doable but I've slept on worse. And yes, this motel is so very close to the gate of Yellowstone, loved that. So, this motel is worth staying at, for sure. (like I said, nice hotel, but I think the price could be lower). No elevator too.

"An ok motel with great customer service "
Mushy222, 20 Septembre 2017

A nice place to stay in West Yellowstone that has complimentary breakfasts and a nice outside seating area. The motel rooms are ok and with a little more thought from other customers could be quiet! Please stop the shouting and running directly outside the upstairs rooms! Fantastic customer service and Susan could not do enough for us and her home made cookies are lovely! Great base for visiting Yellowstone NP although not a lot going for the town of West Yellowstone! Thanks Susan for your effort!

"Average hotel in a good location"
TravelFan48105, 19 Septembre 2017

This quality of this hotel is standard for the Best Western chain. We did not care for the location of our room which was down some stairs to a semi-basement level. However, we had no specific complaints about the room itself which had typical corporate decor and furnishings. The bed was OK, but the pillows were old and uncomfortable. We liked the free breakfast which had some healthy choices. The best aspect of this hotel is its location - really close to the entrance to Yellowstone and walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the movie theater. The hotel is expensive ($240 for double room) for an average quality property.

"Everything you could want and more!"
marthah854, 19 Septembre 2017

Excellent friendly staff, superb hot breakfast included, coffee/tea 24/7 in lobby, microwave and fridge in immaculate room, hair dryer, coffee maker too! Laundry right next door and the pool looked great although we didn't use it. Within walking distance to great restaurants and souvenir stores...as well as a supermarket. Of our entire 12 day trip to Wyoming/Montana/Colorado, these were by far our best three nights! Thank you, Best Western!

"Fantastic Folks at the Front Desk!!!!"
amfoxy, 14 Septembre 2017

We met Sherry and Jon when we arrived and you couldn't ask for better folks. You instantly felt like they had been friends forever. They filled us in on the area and where to head for dinner. When we returned in the evening we met Jamie and David and they were just as welcoming and friendly! Great folks all four!!!! The rooms are pricey but you'll find that the case wherever you stay during the summer season in West Yellowstone. Our room was clean and comfortable but is old and in need of updating and the like. We were able to park right outside our door which made unloading and loading easy. Breakfast was good which you become accustomed to with BW.

"Fantastic Staff"
Arthur R, 11 Septembre 2017

We had a wonderful experience here. The rooms and amenities were great and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. A real pleasure to deal with. The breakfast area was always well stocked and refilled in timely fashion. And the outdoor deck with heaters is a very pleasant place to relax.

"Don't stay here PRICEY"
pmharrison, 10 Septembre 2017

We stayed on a Friday night, room total charge $271.72!!!!!! We have been at 5 motels, in the last 10 days in Jackson Hole and Yellowstone, staying at both 3 diamond and 2 diamond. We was not sure of this place when we first drove up, we asked to see our room, they had sprayed a deodorizer in each room they showed us, as if they were trying to cover up a smell. It took our breathe away it was so overwhelming!!! We did not want to stay here at all, but AAA had booked this for us and would not open till Tuesday. We left this place although the couple showing us the rooms were very nice. We checked out 3 other motels, 3 diamond rating, all were almost a $100 cheaper. Even the Best Western on Canyon Ave, 3 diamond, 2 blocks away, from this motel, looks so much better for the same night, room rate $170, plus tax, stay at BW on canyon at.

"Great Place to Stay"
Larry R, 09 Septembre 2017

This Best Western is a great value for the amenities received in an area that is always expensive because of the tourist trade. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this Hotel for value and cleanliness.

"first stay at this BW westin inn"
jklemon, 04 Septembre 2017

"Great Place to Stay"
228marilynnb, 03 Septembre 2017

Great location. Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Four blocks from the park entrance. Hotel breakfast was better than most and there were homemade cookies. There is a covered deck right outside the front door. It has tables and chairs, a heater for the cold, and plenty of hot chocolate. We spent a good deal of time there enjoying relaxing and visiting with family.

"Amazing Staff"
Kelly C, 03 Septembre 2017

We stayed here for 3 nights in order to go to Yellowstone. The property was adequate but it was the amazing staff that made our stay so nice. Every single person was wonderful and kind. We would definitely stay here in the future.

"Perfect place ."
Joan B, 30 Août 2017

We loved our stay at Best Western in West Yellowstone . It as clean and comfortable . The staff was great . Location to everything we needed . Easy access to Yellowstone national park . Shopping in the area was good for necessities . Lots of restaurants .

"Best find in West Yellowstone, New Building past the busy intersections."
nyob, 28 Août 2017

Great Welcome with cold drinks in lobby. Fresh New Room. Early Breakfast with very cheerful server! Sooo Refreshing after the chaos of crowded Yellowstone. Peaceful, Quiet and a full dark Milky Way Sky. 24 hr desk with coffee and tea and cocoa. And of course the Excellent Best Western Bedding and Excellent night sleep.

"Great Motel"
Dee827, 25 Août 2017

The room was clean all except the carpet needs to be cleaned. My socks were black from walking across it. Nice accommodations. Breakfast was great. The management were very very nice. Not used to that where I come from. It was nice because it was right there at the entrance to Yellowstone. Close to all of the restaurants.

"Very helpful and kind staff"
wcdleung, 24 Août 2017

I was in a party of four sharing 2 rooms prebooked for the night before the total eclipse. The manager at the front desk was careful to promptly turned people away from the waiting line because he just sold the last room. After we checked in, the manager spotted from his room list a booking under a similar but slightly different name, and checked with us. It turned out my partner's first call was cut off after he provided his credit card information, but before he got a confirmation number, and he called to confirm there was no booking before he booked again (and it turned out the first booking with the main franchise was through but the name was mis-spelt). The manager quickly sorted this out so we would not be double-charged (and they also sold those two room later, much to our relief). They gave us really nice eclipse glasses. Then, in the morning, when most people left 5:30-5:45am to drive south to the path of totality, and missing the breadfast from 6-10am, they prepared packages to go. We're very grateful for the kindness shown by the manager and other staff. Aside: the room was clean and comfortable, and well equipped.

"Great location, great staff"
901ellas, 17 Août 2017

We stayed here for five nights while travelling in Yellowstone NP. The hotel is optimally located for Yellowstone NP. The staff is so nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and nice. Highly recommended.

"Great staff - very helpful"
origsnoopy1, 15 Août 2017

Arrived in the early afternoon. Found the motel to be easy to locate and near the downtown area. The staff was friendly and efficient. They provided recommendations to the various restaurants and things to see and do. Susan went out of her way to ensure our stay was pleasant and fun. The motel has a repetitively new patio with fire pit. The rooms were adequate in size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast had both warm and cold items available. The motel is within three blocks of many good restaurants and item shops. The museum also falls within this radius. This will be my stopping place in West Yellowstone.

"Montana Rod Show Stay"
V1844YFdavidk, 13 Août 2017

Perfect location near downtown West Yellowstone. Has all the amenities, with a nice breakfast served early. Nice new patio with fire pit and space heaters to sit, relax and have a cocktail while being across from all the action of the Rod Show.

"Family trip toYellowstone"
Beth W, 12 Août 2017

After spending a day in Yellowstone with my elderly parents, we enjoyed a quiet, comfortable evening at the BestWestern Weston Inn. The room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The staff was fantastic, recommending a great place for dinner and offering us beverages and a nice fire to sit around during the evening. Breakfast included many hot and cold options and was a nice inclusion as it allowed us an early morning start back into the park. This property is very conveniently located and I will stay here again.

"Great staff and impressed with quality of rooms"
Sooner R, 10 Août 2017

Spencer was great. Very informative and went above and beyond to help. The female hotel manager was super enthusiastic and really loved her job, even tending to the breakfast area to help out joyfully. The rooms were much nicer than I expected. Very comfy beds. Clean.

"Pool bugs"
Hortonklyn, 09 Août 2017

The pool was filled with bugs and debris as well as the spa. For the price of this Hotel I expected to have a pool for our family to enjoy together as well as the spa. The beds are hard. The hot water was very little with the faucet turned all the way to hot. Needs some work. It was surprising to see when the staff said it was the "New" addition.

"Great hotel, though pricey"
76tamerat, 09 Août 2017

The hotel itself was very nice. The staff was fantastic. This is an older hotel, outside entrances to the rooms, but the rooms have been recently updated and the beds very comfortable. Everything thing was very clean. We couldn't hear the outside noise at all -- (a lot of LOUD motorcycles around due to Sturgess being held in a few days), with the AC running (AC was terribly loud either). There is a park across from the hotel, with a playground. My kids enjoyed the pool. Rooms were pricey though.

"Amazing hotel "
claire s, 09 Août 2017

I travelled with my parents from the uk. We spent three nights in canyon and then three nights here. This hotel was perfect. It was very clean, superb friend and helpful staff. The breakfast was brilliant- getting to make my own waffles was exciting in itself! A great choice, a fabulous selection of teas and coffees available 24 hrs a day plus tea and coffee in the room. The hot chocolate was yummy too!! Perfect location, able to walk to everywhere we needed to. Plenty of parking too. Would highly recommend x

"Convenient location"
karoleigh, 06 Août 2017

The inn is very expensive in an area that is high priced, but we spent one night at this inn. The hotel is nothing special for the price that you pay. I suspect that due to the short season and the inn's location, it is more expensive than what you would pay for a similar accommodation elsewhere. I did like the people at the check-in. They were a very lovely husband and wife team working behind the desk. The inn is within easy walking distance to all town shopping restaurants. The hotel, like many other Best Westerns, has a 24-hour front desk, which would be helpful for long-distance travelers who arrive late or want to check out early. WiFi was fine. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub. If you do make a reservation, make sure that when you arrive you know which Best Western by address you are staying at, because there are three Best Westerns in town! I was impressed by the service. We had an issue with the shower head, called upon them to fix it, and we went out to dinner. When we returned, they had already installed a completely new shower head! My only complaint about this facility was that they had very limited seating space for the breakfast area, and it was very crowded.

"Only chain hotel we could find literally just outside the park, and price was right!"
Adje1124, 03 Août 2017

We got nervous once we exited the park late at night to see tons of mom and pop motels. It would have been fine and more of an adventure had it been just hubs and I, but we also had my mom and our 7yo and toddler with us. Luckily we phoned 2 days earlier and they had a cancelation. We were on 2nd floor, no elevator. Parking lot was small and needed more light, but there was extra parking a few yards away. Pool was outside and across the parking lot. We got a small queen suite. It was a bit cramped for the 5 of us, but we made do and slept well. The bathroom was just big enough to turn around in, but nice. New tile. Good shower, had a rainfall shower head and mounted shampoo, conditioner and soap dispensers, but there wasn't any shower gel in ours. The shampoo smelled and felt amazing! Nice surprise. The AC was not consistent and got a little warm middle of the night no matter what we did with it, but was finally nice before we woke up. Breakfast was good too- again, tight quarters but we had it all to ourselves for quite a while since it seemed everyone else left for the park much earlier lol. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and asked about us and our trip. Very nice visit all around!

"North to Alaska"
Q9519VKjamesl, 31 Juillet 2017

Overnight stay near Yellowstone on my way to Seattle for an Alaska Trip. Best Western was the Best stay of my travels. Friendy and efficent staff, very clean room. Close to shopping and resturants. Nice Breakfast Room and lots of choices.

"Great Spot!"
bmcconaster, 31 Juillet 2017

The breakfast area was a bit small but boy oh boy was the park beautiful the whole town was small so nothing was far. We walked everywhere in town, a good change of pace from sitting in the car for so long! The staff here was FANTASTIC! Front desk was helpful. I believe they were the managers but I am not sure. Price was a bit high, but worth not driving another couple of hours. Great Stay!

"3 day stay in West Yellowstone"
Tammy T, 30 Juillet 2017

Across from park that allows your dog to be off leash. This was a great hotel. The only complaint I have is parking is in front of the hotel room doors and some people get in and out of their cars and honk the horn every time they lock it. We had someone in front of our room who got in and out of their car at least 20 times beginning at 6am and locked the car honking the horn every time. The vehicle locks without the horn honk people!

"One of our best hotels during the journey"
K S, 29 Juillet 2017

We were very happy with this hotel, nice and large rooms and the city center with restaurants and shops is less than 5 minutes away by foot. The breakfast was excellent, they offered full hot breakfast. A very little negative point; it was sometimes a bit loud (we guess if someone had a shower on the floor above). And the room rate are very high but therefore the west entrance is just a few minutes away.

"Big price for not so great motel"
LakeLoafer, 27 Juillet 2017

We stayed here after a day in Yellowstone. The staff was pleasant and helpful at check in. Room was clean and a good size with a frig and microwave. The breakfast was adequate...both hot and cold items. However, the price charged is way too much.

"Best Western at its Best!"
nataliae948, 26 Juillet 2017

We had a great stay on our trip to Yellowstone. The hotel location is ideal for exploring the park with easy access to its major landmarks. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious! The best part was the hotel staff! All employees were cordial, welcoming and attentive to our every need. We also enjoyed the food at the local restaurants. Would definitely stay there again!

"Best Western Weston Inn...........A great pick among nothing but poor choices."
MarylandVacation, 24 Juillet 2017

In a small town with limited choices, this place is highly recommended. There are simply no good choices in this area, so get over it. Don't go thinking you're going to get a four-star hotel in this area. This is definitely not big city hotels and most major top brand name hotels do not offer anything in this area. The kicker is that these low budget hotels charge prices higher than east coast name brand hotels. So in a nutshell you get third world hotels and western prices. Saying all that, this place did offer a limited breakfast with a few hot items. There are no bad locations in a town this size. Our location was in walking distance to everything, no more than 5-10 minute walk at max to every store in town. The people working at this hotel are the highlights to your visit. They will do almost anything to make your stay enjoyable. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about the staff, they were all top-notch and really cared about their clients. The rooms on the other hand is a different story, I'm just not use to such small rooms for three people. The rooms are very small especially when the bed is directly in the middle of the room. If you stay here the thing to do is enjoy at Yellowstone and not be in the room. Cheers MarylandVacation

"A nice experience but expensive."
Ralph B, 23 Juillet 2017

We were greeted with a very pleasant and friendly staff but this is the most expensive Best Western we have ever stayed at. We also stayed at the Best Western down the street, Best Western Desert and found it to be a better value but still expensive.

"Excellent hotel"
Acton_MA_Mom, 20 Juillet 2017

Staff wonderful. Clean roomy rooms. Great breakfast. Convenient location right outside Yellowstone entrance. Fresh baked cookies every afternoon. Ice water available 24 7. Outside patio for breakfast seating.

"Vacation"
sandrabF9541RQ, 20 Juillet 2017

This was a last minute side trip on our 4,000 mile road trip from California. During our trip through Yellowstone Park we found out that we could have stayed for much less in the famous beautiful historical Yellowstone Lodge.

"Incredible Value, wonderful stay"
5khorton, 19 Juillet 2017

This hotel is amazing. The employees went out of their way to help us in any way possible! The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and a great location to Yellowstone National Park. We visited a few restaurants in town, and the Wolf and Bear Sanctuary.

"Great hotel"
MomActon_MA, 17 Juillet 2017

The room was roomy. It had wall dispensers for shampoo, etc , which is better than little plastic bottles. The breakfast was phenomenal. There were fresh bakes cookies every afternoon. Clean outdoor pool and spa. Thick towels. Front desk staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Overall great stay. Just outside West entrance to Yellowstone.

"Ihe Oldun in Yellowstone"
The0ldun, 17 Juillet 2017

With limited choice of Hotels in Yellowstone, I would recommend this one for stays by the weston entrance, it is less than 1/2 mile from the western entrance, its typical Motel layout, clean a d comfortable rooms and accomdating staff. Hotels in this area are very expensive in comparison with the average.

"Warm, welcoming staff & perfect location"
lmarch22, 12 Juillet 2017

We were traveling to Yellowstone National Park and couldn't have asked for a more welcoming, friendly experience at the Weston Inn. The hotel location was perfect! It was less than a 5 minute drive to the park. The park across the street from our room was ideal for regular dog walks with our pup. The room was very close to town - we walked to get dinner every night. Most memorable of all - the hotel employees were exceptional! We were warmly welcomed every time we entered the lobby. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. The employees made our whole stay cheery.

"The only surprise was that it was nicer than we expected"
zyzzx, 11 Juillet 2017

Reasonable prices for West Yellowstone. Not a 5-star hotel, and it isn't trying to be. It is very good and very pleasant for what it is. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and everything works. Wifi was nice and strong. Breakfast room is a bit cramped, but the food was decent and there were additional tables in the lobby and outside. Location is great, very close to the park entrance. Overall positive experience and I would stay there again.

"Great location!"
huifei, 10 Juillet 2017

We really like this hotel. It is located right at the town center, very convenient. I have to say probably the best location for enjoying the facilities for a family. All restaurants are nearby. The hotel is very clean. The only inconvenience is no elevator.

"Great location, poor stairs"
Richard C, 10 Juillet 2017

Liked location, particularly for July 4 fireworks! The outside staircases are unsuitable for bare feet, and steps are too narrow for my foot size. I was unable to find an elevator, which made it difficult to take bags to the 2nd floor rooms

"A place to stay"
J8990KXanniec, 10 Juillet 2017

Location is good because it's very close to west entrance of yellow stone national park. Hotel is so so since everything is a little bit old and bed is not very comfortable. Water pipe needs better maintenance.

"Great Hotel!"
486carad, 06 Juillet 2017

After pulling in to the hotel late (long drive from California!), the staff was very helpful and attentive. Our room was very comfortable and we slept well. In the morning, we were only about 5 minutes from the entrance to Yellowstone - very convenient!! My only complaint was that the continental breakfast lacked bagels and other finger foods for the road. (Also, the fruit was a bit old.) All in all, though I plan to return!

"Horrible full breakfast"
suzsax, 04 Juillet 2017

The motel rooms were thin walled. You could hear everything next door. The breakfast that was advertised as full consisted of fake, processed eggs, fake processed sausages and very processed biscuits. Don't offer a full breakfast if your just going to serve jail food. The staff were all very nice, but there was no value in our stay. We paid $279 plus tax. Please consider offering a different type of breakfast. Maybe it's because I'm from California and we are accustomed to fresh whole food, but the food was simply inedible. Really gross. Macdonalds would have been healthier probably.

"Helpful, clean and dog friendly!"
shelleymS7871PC, 01 Juillet 2017

This place is a gem if you are travelling with a dog. The fee is only $10 and they gave me a couple treats and a sheet to help protect the bed from dog wear and tear. I was able to keep this sheet too. After learning I was travelling alone with a dog and infant they offered express check out promptly. Room was clean , standard free breakfast, well kept facilities and great location.

"Outstanding hotel"
Luvhols2013, 29 Juin 2017

From the welcome at check in with home made banana muffins to the lovely rooms and breakfast and the amazing staff..especially the elderly couple who checked us in, why stay anywhere else this is the best place to stay in west Yellowstone

"Great stay! "
D R, 29 Juin 2017

Walking distance to the little town of West Yellowstone. There are tons of shops and restaurants. We stayed in the back building. It has been updated very very nicely and is very comfortable. Fridge in the room. Strong wifi, even in our building. Everything was clean ! Employees were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was also very good! We will definitely recommend for Yellowstone travel! Thank you !

"Clean, comfortable, and convenient"
Nina_ZY, 28 Juin 2017

Yes - we paid out the nose for a Best Western, but it was peak season and given June's propensity for variable weather - I'm really glad we did. It snowed and rained the days we stayed here. The room was clean and comfortable, and plenty spacious. There's warm breakfast every morning. The location is very central - plenty parking - and a city park right outside if you have kiddos. Friendly staff too. Very good wifi, which is really helpful since we had close to no cell reception. Would stay here again if we go back up to Yellowstone.

"Pleasant hotel conveniently situated."
johncb7, 26 Juin 2017

The staff at this hotel were all very pleasant and friendly. We had a reasonable sized room on the 3rd floor. Be aware, that if you have a mobility problem, there are no elevators. There is parking but insufficient. However parking across the road is available. Situated on a busy road junction we found traffic noise an issue. Breakfast is average but the dining area is far, far too small. We were pleased to have stayed here and whilst the price charged was competitive for West Yellowstone, the costs to stay here was outrageous. We have stayed in full service 5* hotels in many capital cities around the world for less money.

"Good West Yellowstone Hotel"
X456LCjasonf, 25 Juin 2017

The location was great, the staff was friendly, breakfast was good, only issue was the price, but that is to be expected in peak season in Yellowstone, It is pet friendly which was great, overall no big issues.

"Very happy with this Best Western"
ozteddy, 22 Juin 2017

We stayed for two nights while visiting Yellowstone (like everyone else I assume) and were totally satisfied with our choice. Check in was easy and friendly, rooms clean and well equipped. We were in ground floor rooms with parking right outside the door and although I could hear a little noise from the room above it was not a problem at night. Breakfast was good, but like most of these smallish hotels the breakfast rooms are small and the cold weather made eating at the outside tables not an option. The trick is to be there when it opens, or if you're not after an early start, wait a bit. It is an easy walk to the shops and eateries in the main street and a couple of minutes to the park entrance.

"Excellent rooms, service and breakfast"
365bhargavak, 20 Juin 2017

Check in process was fast. Service was excellent. People were courteous and friendly. Rooms were pleasantly good. Excellent in fact. From outside it does not look like the rooms inside are going to be nice. But we were pleasantly surprised. They have a swimming pool and a hot tub which are nice. Rooms are clean, nice and updated amenities. Even though the rooms were pricey, its worth the price. Breakfast had lots of choice and was excellent.

"Very local to West Entrance to Yellowstone Park with free parking"
Jane33Kent_England, 18 Juin 2017

Stayed here for a week, the staff were very friendly. We were given a room in the 'new section' on the ground floor, the room was very clean and spacious, it looked out onto a fence. As we were out all day we did not worry about the view. The week we stayed there was a terrible 'banging' from the water pipes every time anyone used the water or flushed the toilet, during the day this was not an issue but when it happened through out the night it was very annoying. We did mention this to the reception staff who were very apologetic and reported that the manager has slept in the rooms and was aware of the noise and was trying to fix it. Also the rooms are not particularly sound proof - we heard every footstep, sneeze and snore from upstairs, they were like a herd of elephants marching across the room and they were always up at 5.15am !!! This was also very annoying. The breakfast area was quite small and had very limited seating (although there was outside seating for in the summer) it was also very hot in the breakfast room. The choice of buffet breakfast was great and plenty of it and very tasty. The man who worked in the breakfast room was very busy, he was always replenishing food and drink and very helpful if you needed something. Tables were always clean. If staying here I would request an upstairs room and get to breakfast earlier rather than later. The hotel is easy waling distance to shops and restaurants.

"Very Friendly Staff"
katrinab807, 18 Juin 2017

Super nice and friendly staff, good location for a Yellowstone visit, although it was too cold to use the outdoor pool or jacuzzi at the hotel. The room was well maintained and comfortable with good breakfast selection included.

"I'll be Back..."
SherrillHooker26, 15 Juin 2017

This hotel was great! Rooms were biggy. My hubs enjoyed having the nice chair in the room to watch t.v. Breakfast was out of this world, the service of the breakfast room was great. The employees worked as a team really well, stocking and keeping the tables cleaned in between people. I didn't realize the pool was heated until check out. SO mental note for next time.

"Would stay here again"
Alan M, 14 Juin 2017

Very pleasant and helpfull reception staff and the room on the third floor was very quiet, although we were a distance from the pool and breakfast area this was not a problem to us. The breakfast room was very small and breakfast counter congested. although there was outside seating the weather didn't allow its use.

"USA TRIP"
GJCOX1955, 14 Juin 2017

Stayed here in 2016 on our road trip. The hotel was clean and all staff were friendly ,the hotel was in a good position for all amenities and very close to the entrance to Yellowstone Park Breakfast was basic but ok no complaints

"Great Place for seeing Yellowstone"
Alan V, 12 Juin 2017

A nice Best Western. Request room in the new building if booking there. Location is great for visiting Yellowstone, with the park entrance only about 1 mile from hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff and very clean.

"Gateway toYellowstone"
jennifercR2998BX, 11 Juin 2017

Conveniently located for access to Yellowstone National Park. In walking distance to local shops and restaurants Helpful staff on reception Comfortable beds and very substantial breakfast, although the room can be a little cramped if everyone comes down together. Complimentary coffee in reception and home made cookies by one of the receptionists. Very Yummy

"Convenient "
Shelly G, 08 Juin 2017

We stayed two nights. It is such an easy access to Yellowstone. Close driving or walking to stores and restaurants. Nice large room. Comfy and clean. Refrigerator and microwave. Nice fast free wifi. Does serve a lot of choices for breakfast. This would have been 5 star but the first morning the eggs, potatoes and sausage gravy was cold. Next morning it was hot and the oatmeal was delicious! Would stay again. Friendly staff

"Nice enough for proximity to the park"
Texas_suz, 07 Juin 2017

This hotel's rating is higher for me just because of how close it is to the west entrance of the park; it's nice to leave the park and not have to drive another long distance to get back to the hotel. My brother actually booked a room at the Best Western Desert Inn down the street, thinking it was the same as ours, so I was able to compare them. This one unfortunately is much older, and you can see some of the wear in places. Our door closed and locked but didn't quite seal all the way, so the wind and cold air came in through the sliver it was ajar. The room itself looked like it had been recently renovated, The bed (which is most important) was comfortable and I slept well. The downside to this hotel is it's more motel style in layout - we went in mid-May, and it actually snowed 5 inches the first night we were there. So unfortunately when we got up for breakfast in the lobby, we had to bundle up and walk on the exterior stairs and down the building outside to get to the lobby. The breakfast area was pretty tight and there were a lot of people there. I could see in the summer how the outdoor seating could spread every one out more but it was 28 and everyone was huddled in. Their selections were mostly what you'd expect at a continental breakfast, but limited in inventory (eggs, sausage, some bread options, oatmeal, gravy). All in all if you're not picky, it was still a decent enough stay, clean and comfortable.

"Pleasant Surprise"
Takemeaway79, 01 Juin 2017

We had rooms booked here quite awhile ago & a few weeks ago we had the opportunity to be in West Yellowstone. We drove by and saw a motel type cinder block looking throw back to an earlier era. Hoping for the best, a few weeks later we arrived to check in during the early evening after spending the day in Yellowstone. Our check in was very cordial & they had located our 2 rooms next to each other. I believe they called them "family rooms" & we found them to be quite spacious & comfortable. There were 2 queen beds & a sofa that made into a bed. The bathroom was updated & there was a closet area between the bathroom & the vanity, which was a long vanity with lots of room. We had plenty of plug ins for charging our devices & free wifi. Breakfast had several hot items, including cheese omelets & oatmeal. Everyone in our group found plenty to get the day started right. The attendant kept busy keeping everything stocked & accommodating requests to locate items. He brought our 7 year old chocolate chips to accompany a muffin. That was a hit! The morning staff in the lobby were also first rate & very friendly. In fact, all staff we encountered during the one night stay were exceptional. Glad to have this property on our radar should we have the chance to stay in West Yellowstone again.

"So close to Yellowstone"
Shelly B, 31 Mai 2017

This was a great place to start our trip to Yellowstone. It's right by the park entrance and much less expensive than staying in the park. We had a room in the newer section that was nice. I'm not sure what the other rooms were like on the inside, but the windows on the first floor looked small.

"Superior staff! Excellent accommodations"
Janisue R, 30 Mai 2017

Clean, handy, located close to West End of Yellowstone. Easy traveling in and out of the area. Many restaurants in area and a Dairy Queen. We enjoyed our car being able to be parked with easy access. The breakfast was fine (we do not eat meat) so the waffle and fruit was exceptional

"Yer gonna wanna stay here"
903franku, 27 Mai 2017

this hotel is worth the money. Cheerful & positive staff in the lobby. Cleaning crew is also friendly and the maintenance folks are friendly. Breakfast is hot with scrambled eggs one day, cheese omlets the next, and egg sandwichs the next. Always had either sausage links or patties (hot), taters n gravy n biscuts. good choice of cereals, jucies, yogurt, fruit and toast. Waffles were great also. Bed was very comfortable and water pressure in shower (soft water) was good and water temperature good even if you sleep in. I'd 100% recommend this hotel and expect on my next trip to Yellowstone that I will Stay here again. thank you for making my time in West Gate, MT memorable.

"Very satisfied!"
Sherrie A, 24 Mai 2017

Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and helpful, especially Ranjit! The room and beds were great, so was the complimentary breakfast. The housekeepers were very friendly, as were the breakfast staff. We loved our stay!

"Great Base for Yellowstone NP Visit"
John M, 24 Mai 2017

Great place to stop. Off the main drag and quiet at night. Good value for the location. Restaurants within walking distance and the Yellowstone National Park entrance is just minutes away by foot, bike or vehicle.

"Convenient to Yellowston National Park and Welcoming Staff"
Tiffy_Bird, 08 Décembre 2016

We stayed in the Best Western Weston Inn for one night during our 2-week trip to Yellowstone. We got a room in the adjacent building in the lower level, which I feared would be loud during the busy tourist season. I got a great night's sleep though. The town of West Yellowstone is very commercial, but from this hotel you can walk to any number of restaurants or other entertainment. Free buffet breakfast here was especially good---better than most on our trip. West Yellowstone & this hotel are very close to west gate of the park. Everyone on the desk---when we checked in & when we left---was friendly and welcoming. ***TIPS: Keep in mind, you pay more for the convenience of being close to the park. We alternated staying nearby (more expensive hotels) and further away to save money. Also, if you stay in West Yellowstone in the summer, be prepared to rise VERY early to avoid long lines at the gate. There are LOTS of hotels here & virtually every visitor is going to the park.

"WOULDN'T STAY HERE AGAIN"
2travelersasof2001, 07 Décembre 2016

We weren't sure exactly where we would end up so didn't look for a place to stay till leaving Yellowstone. As soon as we got reception again we began calling places. Lots of places were booked. This location was more than we wanted to spend for just an average looking hotel but they had an availability so we took it. The girls/women that checked us in were super friendly and breakfast the next morning was tasty and hot. Our issue was with the beds. OMG I think the floor might have been softer. We both woke the next morning completely exhausted because neither one of us slept well.

"Conveniance location for visiting Yellowstone n.p."
Catharina29, 17 Octobre 2016

Good and spacious romes. Clean and nice shower. Complementary breakfast was sufficient. Desk personal was verry helpful. Pool was already empty. Easy to walk to nearby restaurants, if they are open, lots were closed during our visit.

"Great place so close to Yellowstone entrance"
11joyced, 16 Octobre 2016

In looking for a place to stay near Yellowstone, price and convenience were a top priority. This hotel met both criteria. The staff was exceedingly helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was an added plus, with waffles, eggs, muffins and other items that make it better than the described "continental" I would definitely recommend and would stay here again when visiting Yellowstone.

"Thoughtful Breakfast Buffet"
tyrolgirl2015, 14 Octobre 2016

We found the room to be comfortable and in good condition. Rooms are pricey due to the remoteness of the location and the short tourist season. That is to be expected. I found the addition of Lactaid Milk on the breakfast buffet to be very very thoughtful--as we usually have to bring a cooler with our milk along with us as very few places provide lactaid milk or almond milk or soy milk to replace regular milk. It is difficult to be lactose intolerant on a trip. It is difficult to find grocery stores that sell it as well in remote areas. Thank you Best Western Weston Inn.

"Vacation stopover"
Mike C, 14 Octobre 2016

Not what I expected. Not the usual Best Western. Still hard to believe Best Western or Weston put their name on this Hotel. Although the staff is great and the rooms clean, this is actually a refurbished strip motel. Those of us who are traveling for a long period and have luggage and are assigned a third floor room should be told when scheduling that there is no elevator. This should be noted clearly in hotel information. If you want quiet while you sleep this isn't the place. Very little noise suppression.

"Friendly daytime staff"
tbinak, 13 Octobre 2016

The room was clean, and had all the amenities expected. No complaints except for the noise from multiple RV generators parked outside our window, that went on and off all night long. The evening staff were a bit on the cold side, but the daytime staff made up for that with warmth and genuine concern for our comfort.

"Well run motel-style"
rocou, 11 Octobre 2016

Looks a bit like nothing, but this 2-story motel is clean, well managed and well staffed. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful on anything from dinner recommendations to which place we should go visit in the park. The place was full, even as the Yellowstone Park season was winding down; and that's not without reason, the best places stay full last. It's priced very reasonably, it's a stone-throw from the park West entrance, the rooms are comfortable, what more can you ask for... Yes, the breakfast room is a bit small, no, it's not the Ritz, but it really did it all for us for 4 nights. Highly recommended as a base to explore Yellowstone.

"A Special Place"
Robert M, 11 Octobre 2016

Everyone who works there is so nice and caring. They make you feel right at home during your stay. We were there for 10 and were treated wonderful. There breakfast bar has great food and the biscuits and gravy are as good as home made. You could count on the staff for help, as when one night my husband developed an eye problem and Brooke & Danielle went out of their to find a place for us to get help.

"Well worth a visit"
Michael M, 04 Octobre 2016

The Weston Inn is an 11 out of 10. The hotel room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the hotel manager and staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The breakfast was awesome. Heartily recommended.

"West Yellowstone Best Western Weston Inn"
TrustTheRoad, 01 Octobre 2016

Facility and staff were fine. Breakfast was on the lower range of okay. Price paid as relates to lodging and experience itself, too high. The price paid reflects proximity to national park, which is outstanding. The price paid does not reflect superior lodging experience.

"Excellent and friendly motel"
jgny, 24 Septembre 2016

We needed a room at the last minute as the road to our planned hotel was closed due to an unexpected snow storm. Mary and Jim could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was terrific. They gave us great advice regarding the park and local restaurants. Go to the local Union Pacific Museum. It provides a new perspective on the area.

"Great staff and extremely comfortable stay"
Rosemary G, 24 Septembre 2016

The staff at this Best Western was extremely knowledgeable about the area and were great conversationalists. They truly care about the job they are doing and it shows. The room was very comfortable. Breakfast was early every day, so even at 6am there was a fully stocked area. They do need to clean the carpets in the rooms a little more often, but overall a wonderful experience.

"Amenities"
Z3688EBelaineb, 23 Septembre 2016

No breakfast is provided for guests, not even a stale donut. Guests are directed to a restaurant in front of the hotel. No voucher is provided for breakfast. There appears to be a direct financial relationship between the hotel and restauarnt as there is a direct phone line to the restaurant from the hotel room for ordering food for pick up or delivery.

"Way too expensive!!"
Quality4122, 22 Septembre 2016

While this motel had a pool and hot tub it was not worth the money. They change 3 times the normal rate for being at the entrance of the park (all the motel do). The place was small and felt like a motor court.

"The only place to stay in West Yellowstone"
Yoadri, 18 Septembre 2016

This was our first trip to Yellowstone and the help Jim & Mary gave us in planning activities and food suggestions were perfect!! Would not stay anywhere else! This is the only place in our opinion to stay - location was central to all local activities.

"nice hotel room"
macska, 14 Septembre 2016

We had a queen sized room, one bed in a nice sized room. Within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Staff really friendly! We were in the main building and our room look great, not dated at all.

"OK but expensive and dated."
Halwelch1, 13 Septembre 2016

The staff are very friendly and helpful. But the property itself is dated and is sorely in need of a refurbishing. The lower rooms are very dark but you can park right in front of your door. West Yellowstone during the summer is expensive, but for the money it cost me to stay at this motel, I can't help but feel I could have done better.

"Economical and close to Yellowstone"
HerMajestyShip, 13 Septembre 2016

We couldn't get a reservation in Yellowstone and this was close to the west entrance of Yellowstone. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, and breakfast was good. Do you pay more during tourist season then it is worth...yes but in comparison this was the best bang for my money that I could find. Also it is close enough that we walked to dinner every night. Loved the soda fountain in town...what a treat!

"Great Staff, Happy Stay"
lilemoevie, 12 Septembre 2016

The price was high, but alas, we are in West Yellowstone. We were in the separate building of the hotel and on the bottom interior corridor floor. Almost felt like a basement room, was very dark, not much of a view when looking out directly at a fence. Luckily we weren't looking for a view, but a good night's sleep. Breakfast was good. They some type of eggs & meat, waffle maker as well as yogurt and small selection of fruit. They had a very friendly staff that kept breakfast well stocked and the front desk manned. Overall we had a pretty good stay!

"Nice in a Pinch"
Stephen H, 12 Septembre 2016

The Staff were friendly and helpful, they made the stay pleasant. This is an old motel that is being updated, but the lay out and location, is wide spot in the road 1970's style. There are much better lodgings for the money in the area. Shop ahead and read all reviews.

"Very friendly staff!!"
Ed B, 07 Septembre 2016

Nice motel! A little pricey but when you figure the location it's right in line with the area. Decent breakfast, clean, just what you would expect from a Best Westerm. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful!!. Definitely recommend!'

"Great study, great staff "
Jhurd6, 06 Septembre 2016

Prices were expensive, but I guess this is typical for Yellowstone. We were very happy with our room. We had to change our reservation dates and they were very helpful and accommodating to meet our needs. Wifi was good, until everyone tried to use it. Room was very nice, beds comfortable, lots of pillows. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and protein. Mary and Jim were so helpful and nice.

"Quiet Comfort"
Eric S, 06 Septembre 2016

I don't usually stay at Best Western, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was huge and the bed the most comfortable on my week long trip. Very pricey but so is everything near the park during season. The breakfast was phenomenal with biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, all the fruits you could want, and anything else you could want. Very quiet, clean and so excellent rating and I usually only give very good.

"Nice-clean rooms and friendly staff"
Cheri W, 06 Septembre 2016

We stayed here with our son & family prior to heading into Yellowstone Park. They offered a family suite for our son & family (2 queen beds & sofa sleeper). They pool was a warm (to our surprise because the air was cold 40's) & the hot tub was working. The kids had a great time. I was surprised to see that they had chair assists into the both the pool and hot tub, what a great thing for those who need a little help. The breakfast was hot and of standard fare. The staff was friendly & helpful and accommodating.

"Touring Yellowstone"
Buzzard100, 03 Septembre 2016

Great Best Western. This hotel is clean, well staffed and the desk team - Jordan and Jessica are friendly and customer driven. Good basic breakfast in the morning. I would stay here again and recommend this hotel. Unfortunately, the air quality in West Yellowstone was poor because of planned fires. Not their fault!!

"Pleasant"
Donald G, 01 Septembre 2016

This is not the grandest spot in West Yellowstone but the room was clean, nicely appointed and the staff was very friendly. Quick in, quick out and on to the park. I would stay there again. It's a block our do off the main highway into Yellowstone and away a few blocks from the party places but easy to walk to those. No truck noise in the room at all.

"Convenient for the West entrance to Yellowstone"
margaret b, 31 Août 2016

This is a good stop for exploring Yellowstone . Rooms are spacious and ours overlooked the park and caught the evening sun . Breakfast was very good with choice of hot and cold , fruit, yogourt, etc. we ate at the Tapas place as it was close but found it expensive and second night at the Buffalo Inn which was good but huge meals .

"Good base for West Yellowstone"
David C, 29 Août 2016

This hotel was not cheap, but then, few around Yellowstone National Park are. The room was plenty big enough, clean, well furnished, with an excellent bathroom. The breakfast was very good, although the fairly small space could get packed out at peak times. All the staff that that we met were very friendly and helpful and one small issue with our room was put right immediately upon notification. There was a lot parking around the hotel, all free. The hotel was a 5-10 minute walk from the main town centre, which catered for a wide range of dining and drinking options, although none very cheap. West Yellowstone is an 'OK' base for the National Park, especially for the main Geyser area around 'Old Faithful', but it is quite a long drive in - allow 40 mins after you go through the park gate to actually get anywhere.

"Nice motel for the area."
yttravel2016, 28 Août 2016

This was a nice, clean location for a really busy area. Breakfast was a good variety of sausage/eggs/potatoes, toast, waffles, and cereals. The rooms are a good size. Fridge is an added bonus. We didn't use the pool or hot tub because we spent so much time in Yellowstone. Everyone from check-in, maintenance, and breakfast hosts were really friendly. They offer free wi-fi which is a nice touch. The only negative is that this is a older motel and you can definitely hear when people are walking above you or in the room next to you.

"The. Worst. And they don't care!"
Sarah L, 25 Août 2016

Worst hotel experience in past 10 years! Poop on toilet when checking in. Told front desk politely, out of earshot of other guests. Said they'd check. sent manager and said was paint and would clean. Paint? On underside of toilet? A color NOT in the room? Was told it was the color from Last time. ...Seriously? Asked to be moved or at least a discount. None. Disappointing after driving 8 hours. Told we could cancel. They knew there were no more rooms in town. No discount from them. Asked if we wanted more cleaned. Ummm.. I guess not. Found more 'paint'/poop later. Was of motel 6 quality for more than Hilton prices, typical of the area but this one is one of worst! No towels at pool. Given a roll away w so little space in our room (king) that we had to step over to use restroom. I'm seeing the allure of the motor home more and more in these areas. The worst breakfast at a best western I've ever had! Eggs were awful. Ran into the main manager the next day, although we were told he wouldn't be around the entire weekend! We took some time the previous evening and called the best western headquarters who called the hotel and talked to them to hear their side of the story. They ended up frontloading us enough points for a free room in the future after that phone discussion. I could tell the manager wasn't happy w us; we did stumble upon him although we told he was offsite and couldn't be reached. Strangely, we have family in the area and often drive through. They count on folks passing through for business but missed out on possible repeat customers. DON'T. STAY. HERE.

"Nice Hotel/Good Location"
rktingley, 25 Août 2016

We stayed here for two days - August 17 and 18th. We had family suite that slept five and was perfect for us with 3 boys. Very good location to Yellowstone and also walking distance to lots of restaurants/stores, etc. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub (though it was windy the first day we were there and boys had to clean some debris out of both pool and hot tub - after that it was fine). Parking was free and so was breakfast which had pretty decent spread and good hours (I believe 6AM to 10AM). The only issue with breakfast was that it got crowded especially at certain times. We always got a table but moving in and out to make waffles, etc. was somewhat difficult. For price/amenities - would definitely consider staying here again.

"Yellow Stone with Best Western"
Paresh S, 24 Août 2016

Manager of this hotel was awesome. She guided us on tourist point out of Yellow ston-she has a very good knowledge about all surrounding points. Also she helped us to store our food in refrigerator after check out

"Great location for Yellowstone national park"
Kate9639, 23 Août 2016

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Yellowstone national park. I was pleasantly surprised - room was clean and comfortable. There was a fridge in the room. There is free parking -not necessarily right near your room but near enough. There wasn't a lift so a room on the upper floor was interesting with a heavy case but it was fine. The location is perfect for visiting Yellowstone - only a couple of blocks from the entrance to the park. The town seems mainly to serve tourists with numerous motels and restaurants -easy to walk to places to eat. Breakfast was the same as most places we stayed - waffles (make yourself), eggs, etc.

"Poor value"
ghtx, 23 Août 2016

Carpet was dirty / room was dark / only positive was water pressure. Parking was convenient right in front of the room but interior entrance is much better. Bottom line is the room was way overpriced. For the amount of points and Diamond level status with BW I expected much better.

"Clean and comfortable"
tonyandam, 20 Août 2016

Stayed 3 nights. Great location! Walking distance to small shopping/food tourist area. Very close to the West Yellowstone Park entrance. Clean and comfortable rooms. Small refrigerator and microwave in room. Breakfast is included with room stay (waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, assorted pastries, coffee/tea, juices). Hotel has outdoor pool..we never used because we were busy touring Yellowstone. Very friendly and helpful staff. Yes, would stay again.

"Pleasantly surprised!"
Michelle H, 17 Août 2016

Our plan was to stay in Idaho Falls but we did not plan well and ended up having to head up to West Yellowstone in order to have somewhere to stay on our trip. The Best Western Weston was the only place with a room available. It was busy season and the price did show that, which was not surprising. The staff was incredible and the gentleman who checked us in even offered to come back up after closing to let us in since we thought we would be arriving after 11pm. The room was huge, clean and appeared to be renovated. We were pleasantly surprised.

"Nice hotel"
Lqtena, 14 Août 2016

Stayed two nights while visiting Yellowstone. The room was nice and clean. The staff very helpful. The air conditioner could have been a little cooler, but it was alright. Good hotel for the close proximity to Yellowstone. I would recommend.

"Very pleasant place to stay"
Michael W, 13 Août 2016

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and polite. We enjoyed our 4 days at this Best Western. Breakfast was hot and ready with plenty coffee available. If we make it back to Yellowstone I will stay here again.

"Nice people, good location, good place"
AndreDeRoma, 11 Août 2016

Very nice people, good location (5 minutes from the park entrance),good price (you are in West Yellowstone!), good breakfast: very good place. The breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Finally, people at the front desk know also that Andrea is originally a male name from the ancient Greek. I recommend it definitely.

"Clean place, great location"
Bruno G, 10 Août 2016

First, the pros : great location (so close to Yellowstone), good breakfast, pool and hot tub, friendly staff. And the cons : the pool and hot tub are in the parking lot, very expensive during the high season. Overall, the place is very clean and the pool was very much appreciated after long days spent in yellowstone. And getting to the park is only 2 minutes away.

"Family vacation"
Rosalie H, 03 Août 2016

This motel was fine but just pricey. The breakfast was very good. With 22 of us traveling together we enjoyed it being convenient on our route thru Yellowstone. If we are in the area again we would stay here if couldn't find anything less expensive and as nice a motel.

"Mixed Experience"
Michael Craig W, 01 Août 2016

The people at this hotel are very nice and accommodating. The reality of staying in West Yellowstone is the prices are high compared to many other areas so you expect the fundamentals to be flawless. So, when the air conditioner does not work and the hot tub is out of order this is disappointing. The upside is they addressed my a/c problem, partially, and they got the hot tub back up later in our stay. Nice people but the building needs work.

"Way, Way Overpriced even for a tourist trap"
Venu T, 31 Juillet 2016

Hotel is fine. Way over-priced even for a tourist trap - paid $300+ per room. Plan early so you can get a better rate. However, also be aware that this is one of the better properties in this town - there are far worse options in West Yellowstone.

"Family trip to Yellowstone"
Meliza J, 29 Juillet 2016

We stayed here for 2 nights during our visit to Yellowstone. Overall nice place to stay. They offer free wifi and hot/cold breakfast. The pool was very warm. It is located across from a big park with a playground. Our room was clean. It takes about 35 - 45 minutes to get into Yellowstone park, pending on traffic. A nice 5 minute walk to the main strip of West Yellowstone where you can find many gift shops, restaurants, ice cream shops and even a grocery store. There is a ropes course near the post office. I would definitely stay here again.

"It was fine for what we wanted"
Willa S, 28 Juillet 2016

It is still a little pricey but OK for 1 or 2 nights. The breakfast was a joke. Scrambled eggs were runny and cold. Bacon was nearly raw. For most part it was unappetizing. It is offered as FREE, but not really. I'm sure it is included in the price of the room. I would have preferred to pay less for the room and go elsewhere for a decent breakfast.

"Expensive Hotel and not a great experience with the rooms"
GlobTravel, 28 Juillet 2016

We had a late check in that day. The hotel itself has three floors and we were on the second floor with no elevator access. With luggage, we needed to do multiple trips to the room. Secondly, the temperature was over 90 degrees outside and the AC unit was not working in the first room. We were switched to another room. However, the AC unit in the second room was cooling for just a few minutes and stopped. We had a similar stay in Best Western in Gardiner the previous night and it was a wonderful experience with great view, breakfast facility and facility. We just did not have the similar experience at the West Yellowstone location and it was pricier at the Yellowstone location. The internet service was working that the kids liked and the breakfast was basic continental food.

"They staff could not have been nicer. "
penuther, 26 Juillet 2016

Although the facilities have been upgraded, it was still small and had some cosmetic issues. The door rubbed and was difficult to open, but this can be fixed. The rooms were clean and the staff could not have been any more friendly. It was pricey for a Best Western, but you have to consider how close you are to the west entrance to Yellowstone. The outdoor pool is tiny and the spa did not work during our visit.

"Perfect location for visiting Yellowstone!"
Ann S, 26 Juillet 2016

Best Western Weston Inn has recently renovated, clean and comfortable rooms with refrigerators and microwaves. Jim and his wife (and other hotel staff) were wonderful hostesses and gave great suggestions for places to eat, etc. Free daily hot breakfast was very good and well tended. Other reviews mentioned noise was an issue, but we never heard anyone and the hotel was completely booked. All hotels in this area are pricey, but you are paying for being 1/2 mile from the park entrance. All restaurants and shops in West Yellowstone are within walking distance from the hotel. We had some time to kill before flying out on our last day, so we did the walking tour of the town and it was fun and interesting. I would definitely stay here again!

"STAY AT ANOTHER HOTEL!"
torquiest, 25 Juillet 2016

Book early at a yellowstone property! We booked last minute and stayed here. Not only were we put in the basement, but dated hotel and very crowded breakfast area. Hotel needs to be remodeled and redesigned. The pool area is very small. Look around for a better value for your money.

"Pleasantly Surprised"
Suzanne T, 25 Juillet 2016

The hotel looked older from the outside, but was totally remodeled very nicely inside. The front desk personnel was superb. Helpful with suggestions for Yellowstone & every other request. The location to Yellowstone was 5 minutes from the entrance. We would definitely go back.

"Great locatoin, good facilities"
Delmar M, 24 Juillet 2016

Room size was good, two double beds. AC took a while to get the correct balance. One narrow counter for the bathroom sink. Needs to be remodeled. Tight room for shower and toilet. Excellent hot water and finicky shower adjustment. Room is way too dark. Needs more lights. Not enough wall outlets. I had two cell phones being charged and two camera batteries....that was just two many devices being charged. At this price I expect a double bathroom vanity. It's time to spend the dollars to modernize this busy place. Note, we checked out before the office opened and they would not email me a receipt. Instead, I have to go back to the Internet source where I made the reservation for that document. Come on get into the real world. Beds were good.

"Nice, clean, well run hotel"
John S, 23 Juillet 2016

I was quite satisfied with this hotel; however, the rate was very high (at least 4X the normal rate for this type of hotel) due to the tourist season. Management and staff were very friendly and helpful.

"National Park Visit"
peterjohnh888, 23 Juillet 2016

Stayed for 4 nights whilst visiting Yellowstone National Park with our cousins during our recent US holiday. Whilst room rate was generally more expensive than we paid elsewhere during our visit it was over the 4th July weekend. Breakfast was average and breakfast room was full during peak period. Positives were very friendly and helpful staff, location within 5 mins drive of park entrance and 5 mins walk for restaurants/shopping. Room was clean, comfortable. and quiet. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

"Church conference"
Rosetta36Johnson, 20 Juillet 2016

I had a wonderful time at best western hotel in Baltimore.the mades were extremely nice ,the services was more than I could ask for .Shurline the morning cook she went beyond the call off duty ,she mad breakfast an hour ahead of time and always had a smile on her face not just for her friendly services towards me and my church family but to a that made our trip a successful one thank you all we hope to visit again

"Well worth the consideration"
William D, 17 Juillet 2016

I have stayed at this facility for my annual one week Yellowstone summer fly fishing trip for over a decade. They keep getting better and better. The breakfast is very, very good and the WiFi has really improved. It is quiet, affordable and comfortable and the staff is really nice!!!

"Best Western Weston Inn"
Gurusaday D, 14 Juillet 2016

Per night cost is too high. Value for money is less. Paid $260 per night. Breakfast is average. More of Motel type building. Need renovation. Staffs are friendly. Good location. Many options for Food and Leisure.

"West Yellowstone 2016"
David J, 13 Juillet 2016

The Inn was a basic motel with 2 floors, plus a newer addition with 3 floors. The location was very close to all the town's activities and the Entrance Gate to Yellowstone NP. The free breakfast was good with waffles, eggs, sausage, fruit, muffins, bread, etc. We were able to park next to our lower level room. There was a park across the street. We had a pleasant 2 night stay.

"Basic amenities, great location"
N M, 12 Juillet 2016

The rooms were pretty clean, and the location is just minutes outside the west entrance of Yellowstone national park. That said, its a bit over priced for the fairly basic amenities. The breakfast is 4 inch omlettes and alternating sausage links or sausage patties. There are also biscuits and diced potatoes. It gets very crowded for breakfast but eases around 9 or 9.30 am. It had ample parking and is well placed near a lot of restaurants within a 3-4 block radius.

"Great hotel - free parking - Good location"
Citygogetter, 11 Juillet 2016

Stopped here for just one night, expected to be staying in the main block wooden with balconies but were sent to a new block just next door which was really clean and appeared quite new. Room was spacious and clean with all amenites and free parking. Easy short walk into town which was great with a real 'western' feel. Good shops and eateries we ate in Old Town Cafe which was good. Short drive into Yellowstone.

"Great hotel! Great staff! Great location!"
Misty C, 09 Juillet 2016

This was a great hotel very close to Yellowstone's west entrance...1 block from park border! Big laundry mat next door...plus city park across street. Hotel staff was so nice and super helpful about the area. Free breakfast was very good as well! We Will come back to this hotel in the future!

"Excellent stay"
Becky R, 08 Juillet 2016

We booked 6 months in advance and the price was still high, but it was so worth it. Clean rooms, great bed & pillows! Continental breakfast was okay didn't care for the biscuits and gravy... some kind of spices that my stomach didn't like.. lol couldn't ask for a better management and staff.

"Great location, fine super clean rooms, good breakfasts"
Johnbbq, 06 Juillet 2016

We had 3 rooms for family. All exterior entrances, very well maintained, and great beds. One fine motel. We travelled for 2 weeks and this was one of the best places. Super attentive people and well staffed---a rare occurencs in many motels today.

"Nice & Clean!"
Julie R, 06 Juillet 2016

I stayed here for 3 nights in June for the Yellowstone Half Marathon and had no issues whatsover. The room (2 queens) was spacious, everything was updated and clean, and the staff I spoke with were friendly. It was very pricey (nearly $300/night), but it's Yellowstone and high season, so what can you do?

"Exceptional stay"
Mike R, 05 Juillet 2016

I can't express my gratitude to Mary and the staff for the stay at this facility. Each and every time I had a request, the staff helped past what I expected. They truely acted like they wanted to help make my stay the best possible. .

"Great service"
198Moonlight, 04 Juillet 2016

The hotel room is more of a motel feeling, room very basic. I guess for a small West Yellowstone town, that's typical. I rate this hotel a 4 mainly because of their outstanding services. All staff are very friendly and went beyond their way switched my family of three from a King room I booked (only room type left) to a two queen room. Breakfast area very small but food was ok. There are coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby area all the time. The hotel is very close to Yellowstone West Gate and within walking distance to several restaurants.

"SERVICE MAKES THIS HOTEL A REAL WINNER!"
20954, 02 Juillet 2016

We had two days to experience YellowStone park. Mary, the owner of this hotel, was extremely helpful with suggestions on how to spend our two days in the park. She was spot on with all of her suggestions, and because of this we had a fabulous trip. The hotel is nice and clean. Breakfast gets busy so get there early. Our room was very quiet. I would stay there again.

"Great stay also for few days."
Yves R. K, 01 Juillet 2016

We was there for two days. The room was big and ok. The floor was very very dirty. Withe socks gone brown.. But the rest was clean. The staff was very frindly and helpfull. The breakfast was ok. The room for breakfast is a little tiny for all customers. But they made some tables outside in the fresh air. The pool is ok. Parkingslots are ok for a Tahoe but not for bigger cars or trucks. But they are free. All in all i recommend it. We come again for a few days.

"We would stay here again"
woody495, 29 Juin 2016

Nice hotel, just far away enough to get away from the crowds of the town. The rooms were nice, no elevator but they had staff on hand to haul bags to rooms. The pool was nice as was the hot tub. I found the front desk staff to be very nice and accommodating.

"good location for visiting Yellowstone park"
mikestrenk, 29 Juin 2016

Great breakfast & good location for visiting the national parks. Only downside was their inability to send me the phone charger that I had left. They referred me to an outside service whose price was too high. The cost of a replacement was less than the postage fee of the outside service,

"Good location"
Carolyn82, 27 Juin 2016

Stayed here for 4 nights and had everything we needed for our visit to Yellowstone. Close to the park but with all the shops/restaurants etc close by. Very friendly, helpful staff. Nice, clean, spacious room with fridge and microwave. Decent breakfast with hot and cold food on offer. Also laundrette next door which came in handy for us mid trip! Would definitely stay here again :)

"Over priced"
Henry G, 27 Juin 2016

This is a below average bw especially for the price. It is probably in the price range of west Yellowstone at nearly 300 per night but don't expect anything special. For that price consider the old faithful inn in the park. Sorry we did not do that.

"Stairs!!!! No Evelators!!!!"
Riotrioadventures, 24 Juin 2016

Stayed 1 night 31 May 2016 We were given a nice room in the new building of the motel on the 3rd floor – should have taken them up on their offer of help with luggage. It does astound me that so much money is spent on a new accommodation building and yet an elevator is not put in. An elevator sure does add to the comfort and convenience of your guests.

"Loved our stay"
DellaE, 23 Juin 2016

So close to Yellowstone. It was great to make this our base for our 5 day visit to Yellowstone. Our granddaughters loved being able to swim in the pool. The hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. Also nice and close to the town of West Yellowstone.

"Pros and Cons"
E W, 20 Juin 2016

Pros: Courteous front clerks and managers Helpful local info Clean rooms Good free hot breakfast Check in and out was easy Cons: Pricey, typical for tourist area Pool run down and dirty Room had chemical smell from cleaning Other: the parking lot filled up each night but we always found a spot. No towels at pool when we went but they had some at front office. Free WiFi does not reach pool area. Laundromat next door...unaffiliated.

"Pricey, but pleasantly surprised!"
psych4trvl, 18 Juin 2016

Stayed here for one night after driving around Yellowstone. You are definitely paying Yellowstone premium prices, but what can you do? We had a dog with us and they are pet friendly, but you must reserve ahead because they on,y have a certain number of pet rooms. The front desk staff was very pleasant and welcoming. We stayed in room 123 which is the back building. It was a short walk from the front desk, but parking available right in front. It seemed this was recently renovated, could smell the new carpet. The room was very clean and modern decorations, including flat screen tv. It was a large room. Beds were very comfortable and we had a great night of sleep. Shower was very hot and with great water pressure. Wifi was ok, but not much quicker than the limited 4G data speeds. Hotel is about 2-3 blocks away from the "action" of the small town. Easy to walk to restaurants. The big sell is that you are less than a 5 minute drive from the west entrance to Yellowstone. I would definitely stay again, even at the premium Yellowstone rates (almost as high as NYC prices!).

"Good choice"
malcno, 12 Juin 2016

We booked this motel well in advance so got a decent deal for 4 nights in West Yellowstone and was very pleased with the accommodation . The welcome we received at check in was excellent and all the staff we met were friendly and positive . The location was pretty central and I would be happy to stay again if we were in the area . My only complaint is that I hate reformed egg for breakfast but unfortunately it appears to be common in lots of places.

"Nice Enough But Noisy"
RanLady, 12 Juin 2016

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on a pass-through visit to Yellowstone on our way to Glacier NP. It's away from the tourist crazy center of town and across the street from a park. Our room was in a separate building from where the arrival desk is located, and getting to our room involved opening 3 heavy doors and going up a half flight of steps. The room itself was fine but dated. There was what appeared to be a coffee bar area near the bathroom, but when we went to make coffee in the morning, there was no outlet in the area. We had to move the coffee maker to the desk. There appears to be virtually no sound insulation in the walls. We could hear every word from the man next door who had long conversations on his speaker phone. There were a group of Asian visitors who all had rooms near each other, and they were treating the area like a dormitory, with their doors open and visiting between rooms. (Little did they know they could have done the same thing with their doors closed.) All the conversation was noisy but not particularly distracting since we couldn't understand them. A caution about rooms in the rear building. The rooms on the first floor are a half flight down, which makes their windows at the exact level of car headlights when they pull into parking spaces next to the building. Every time we parked, we saw someone blinded by our lights. I would likely look for a different property if we visited again and couldn't get a room in the park. It's not a definite "no" but there were other options.

"Very good and comfortable"
johncourt82, 09 Juin 2016

We stayed here for 7 nights and were very pleased with our choice of this hotel as a base for visiting Yellowstone Park. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - particularly Mary who, when we checked in, gave us full details of what to see and do and helped us choose what we think is the best room in the hotel - Room 219. This room is at the end of a balcony on the first floor and, effectively, is private as it is not passed by any other visitors. Also its position is such that you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the last of the afternoon sun. The room itself was clean and spacious - an important requirement when you are going to be living in it for a week. Room facilities were good. Breakfast was also substantial and varied - only minor quibble is that the breakfast room itself awsa bit small so, t busy time, it felt a little crowded.

"Another great stay at Best Western"
wdlander, 09 Juin 2016

We have come to expect great stays at Best Western, and were not disappointed here at the Weston Inn. summer is a busy time in west Yellowstone, and the staff here are kept hopping. the breakfast room can be a bit crowded ,with everyone hurrying to start their day in Yellowstone National park, yet there was never a want or a wait for any of the items presented for the breakfast. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff goes out of their way to make sure your stay is a good one.

"Great Place to Stay"
Lynn H, 09 Juin 2016

I stayed here while driving through from Nevada back to Canada and it was the perfect place to stop. I was impressed with how clean it was how large the room was. Staff were very helpful as I wanted to explore the area, they were able to guide me in the right direction. The hot tub looked so relaxing, however I didn't have time to try it out. I would certain return when I'm in the area again.

"Great place"
Janet O, 07 Juin 2016

This is a very good place to stay when visiting the YNP and surrounding recreational opportunities. Good employees, great breakfast, clean and comfortable. Easy to find and walking distance to eating and shopping.

"Very good and amiable people"
Carlos C, 05 Juin 2016

A very nice hotel, good location. Bfast was good. Excellent personnel. West yellowstone is a small town, ideally situated to visit the parks. Weston Inn hadd a good price and location. Its personnel is outstanding , so very nice and welcoming. Would return without doubt

"High price for a disappointing room!"
Nanette R, 04 Juin 2016

Staying in West Yellowstone is always a gamble. For the $257 price hotel, we received hairs on our sheets, a smashed bug on the bottom sheet, a flickering light when turned off, a lamp with a burned out bulb, and hair in the shower. Bathroom is so small you must stand next to the Toilet to close the door. And our first floor room was below street level. No elevators - carrying everything up and down stairs. We will not return to Best Western Weston, West Yellowstone.

"Exceptional Staff"
Jesseohara, 04 Juin 2016

What a pleasant surprise after a long day in Yellowstone Park. We were pleasantly greeted and quickly checked into our room. We had specific room requests and it was happily granted. Rooms are not huge, but we're very clean comfortable and very close to downtown eating areas and shopping. We had an issue with the Wi-Fi connection. Jordan came up to our room and did not leave until all of our devices were connected and working properly. Jordan was so polite. We had a great time talking to him and appreciated him going the extra mile. The ladies in the morning were just as sweet. We will definitely stay again.

"Not as advertised."
sailandtravel, 04 Juin 2016

When we made the reservation, we were told that this was the LAST room available, but when we got up the next morning and took a semi warm shower (no hot water), and went down for the OK breakfast, there were numerous rooms with the windows open and beds that had not been slept in. The price for this hotel was more than I paid to stay at an Embassy Suites overlooking the horseshoe falls at Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada.

"Great Lodging & Service by Yellowstone National Park"
Ernest T. H, 29 Mai 2016

This Best Western is an excellent place to stay when visiting Yellowstone National Park. The rooms are outstanding, the free breakfast is excellent, and the staff is great! Free high speed Internet is available, and DirecTV offers lots of morning news and evening entertainment..

"Great place to stay when visiting Yellowstone!"
Bernice B, 28 Mai 2016

I would highly recommend staying at the Best Western Weston Inn in West Yellowstone when visiting Yellowstone! Great location right outside of the western entrance of Yellowstone National Park with a very affordable price. I also recommend eating lunch at the Yellowstone Inn at Yellowstone Lake!

"Good Location to Yellowstone National Park"
20Sandy03, 26 Mai 2016

While we prefer a different hotel brand which was not available in this area, we picked Best Western – Weston Inn. This hotel was better than what I expected. The room was very clean but the bed wasn't too comfortable. At least we were able to sleep OK. The people at the desk were very friendly. We were able to walk around the town. The breakfast room was pretty crowd and I wasn't too crazy with their selection of food. If we ever come back here, I'd like to come here again or I'd like to try Best Western Desert Inn. The distance to Yellowstone National Park was a perfect reason to stay here at West Yellowstone. Very nice and quiet area.

"Very nice place to stay"
Nancy P, 25 Mai 2016

The only reason I didn't give this an "Excellent" was the room location. Different rooms are probably fine but ours was right by the 2 doors going to the outside, so every time anyone went out or came in, you hear it. (room 116-A) We had our dog and the fee was more reasonable than most and there was a place across the street to take them to play and do their business. Just make sure you pick up after your pet.

"Older hotel with average room"
Frances S, 22 Mai 2016

Our room was on the backside of the hotel. As the last king room available when we booked online, we ended up with a handicapped room that appeared to have been remodeled fairly recently. The backside of the hotel though does not have any curb appeal and the parking was tight and very limited. The room itself was basic but fine for an overnight. The breakfast was better than average. The lady at the front desk was very sociable and nice and was concerned with our satisfaction. However, on a week long trip through the region, this was probably the least pleasant room we had-- with squeaky floors to boot!

"Hotel location is a plus"
Wayfarer_Wanderer, 20 Mai 2016

Stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Yellowstone National Park. The hotel is located in the middle of the town , 5 min from the West entrance to Yellowstone park. Most of the restaurants , bars are a walking distance from here. We found it to be clean and well maintained and had no issues with our stay. The breakfast spread was good.

"Best Experience at Weston Inn"
Martin D, 19 Mai 2016

Best Western Weston Inn, West Yellowstone. When thinking of visiting Yellowstone, there are three things to consider; which area, which accommodation and how to get there. We chose West Yellowstone and it could not have been better; it is about half a mile from the NP's west entrance and the closest town to most of the famous sites to visit; Firehole drive with cliffs of volcanic rock either side of the road and roaring river; the plains where the bison graze and roam; the fuming gaseous lower, middle and upper level geysers; and the mighty 'Old Faithful', which is 28 miles away! There is plenty of accommodation in West Yellowstone and we thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at the Best Western Weston Inn. Prices are competitive, rooms are well appointed, clean and cleaned and the hotel management is second to none, as I experienced when trying to sort out the shortcomings of Expedia. If it had not been for the accommodating nature of Jim, the GM, we would have experienced Expedia at its weakest. How to get there. Obviously there are lots of ways and different forms of transport. We chose flying Southwest from LV then hiring a car, all pre-booked and cost effective. It is a long drive and the journey can be broken at Pocatello. There are road and speed restrictions but beyond Pocatello an 80 mph limit helps the time to shorten

"Weston Inn"
Patricia S, 18 Mai 2016

Great place to stay especially with pets! The staff was so nice and the location was very convenient. Very comfortable rooms too! I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!

"great location"
Dramie123, 17 Mai 2016

The motel is located in West Yellowstone - the bed and pillows were really comfy - the layout of the room - twin queen - large and plenty of room to move about - wifi was bad - breakfast ok - but not enough room for all the guests - had booked on points - but they had debited my credit card - and it took quite a while for the credit to come back to me - overall ok experience

"Vacation"
A6300IXgaryt, 15 Mai 2016

Although an older Best Western, appearance was clean and well kept. Room was very clean and well cared for. Hi-speed internet worked perfectly. Dining room was crowded so we ate in our room. Breakfast was terrific.

"Good Place to stay"
Joyce C, 15 Mai 2016

Nice clean room. Good shower , the bed was good. Had a problem with the TV remote but manager got it changed out. Front desk personnel friendly and helpful. Didn't eat breakfast as it was so crowded with guest and it was so hot in the room. O

"GREAT VALUE"
Jane H, 11 Mai 2016

Finding a moderately priced accommodation in West Yellowstone is a challenge. Several months ago, I booked a room at the Best Western Weston Inn. The rate was terrific when booked ahead. Mary, at the front desk, greeted us with great enthusiasm. She wants every guest to live their bucket list dream by enjoying the Yellowstone experience. Mary shares information, eagerly oversees breakfast, and takes time to offer suggestions for places to eat in West Yellowstone. If a visitor stays at the accommodations within the Park, getting use to NO WIFI, NO TELEPHONES, NO READING LIGHTS IN THE ROOM, and NO TV is a challenge. Arriving back at the BW Western Inn was like coming home.

"OK but!"
Miles7000, 10 Mai 2016

Hotel was more of a motel type of building with rooms entered from an outside walkway. Room was large with two queen beds which were comfortable. We both woke up in the morning feeling unwell ( dizzy, blurred vision & feeling sick) and noticed that the carbon monoxide sensor was quietly beeping intermittently. We told reception about this potentially dangerous situation but they tried to convince us that we were probably suffering from the altitude. Since we have spent the last forty years skiing in the Alps we knew our problem wasn't altitude. I do hope they have room 204 fully checked since we referenced CO symptoms on the net which confirmed our suspicions.

"Reasonable, Clean and Friendly"
TravelorTwo221, 10 Mai 2016

Our room was clean & originally for Accessibility. Large and spacious for those needing the space. Mary is warm, friendly and VERY knowledgeable about the area. Staff in the breakfast area were top-notch and kept the area clean and presentable in-spite of the large groups coming and going until 9am. Wide selection of breakfast items for such a cozy space. For those on a family budget, this is a safe, clean and appropriate motel. A large park is across the road from the motel for children and pets. Pool was not open yet on our stay.

"An oldie but a goodie!"
Tim L, 08 Mai 2016

This motel is the older of the two in town, but it could not have been more hospitable. Mary made sure all needs were met and that guests were comfortable with no issues. Though the motel was aged, it was clean and the breakfast second to none (it should be listed on the web site as full breakfast instead of continental - the gravy & biscuits put the eggs and meat in the shade)! While I thought the price was a tad high, one has to consider this town is apparently a "high-rent" district because of Yellowstone Park.

"Great"
cmh0123, 30 Avril 2016

The staff and rooms were just perfect for our stay. Breakfast was very good and I appreciated all the advise at checkin in my first visit to the area and the park. We could walk into the charming town which was a plus.

"You Pay For the Location"
iLive4Adventuring, 01 Novembre 2015

This hotel is located just a short drive from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park in the cutest little town. It is right next to a laundromat and a Chinese restaurant (didn't try their food so can't comment on it) and the gas station is right up the street. Just a few blocks down is The Buffalo Bar & Casino, a must try eatery! The room is typically what you would expect from a Best Western, spacious and clean. We had a room on the first floor and parking was right outside your door, super convenient for loading and unloading your things. The breakfast room is pretty tight so you would have to plan your meal to avoid the crowd. The price is a little high for what you get but thats expected when staying near a major tourist area.

"Right outside the park."
Fishoncoulter, 28 Octobre 2015

Clean rooms and polite staff. Easy access for any vehicle. Pulling a trailer with personal pontoon boats and had no problem parking. Nice location. West entrance is a nice distance to old faithful and other main attractions. Price was a little high but enjoyed our stay.

"Yellowstone Park"
Naomi G, 24 Octobre 2015

The room was clean and the breakfast was good. We only stayed 1 night and left early in the morning to head to the park. I wish I would have know the pool was outside and only open seasonally. The manager in the morning was very friendly and quick to ask if we had any problems.

"Expected a little more"
SteveE304, 22 Octobre 2015

My family and I stayed here on a trip to Yellowstone. I am a best western rewards member and so we picked this hotel because it is a best western. On arrival the room had no remote and when I spoke to the kid at the front desk he was like we had a rough year and I am not sure about any remotes but he did find me a remote. The next morning the blow dryer did not work and we spoke to a nice man at the front desk and he made sure we got it taken care of that day. When the maids cleaned though they left half the dirty towels out and did not fill up the body wash that was empty. The parking was not very good so we had to park at the park across the street. The breakfast room is small and was very busy and hard to find somewhere to sit. It was not the worst place I have stayed but not the best.

"Excellent experience"
Cynthia B, 21 Octobre 2015

When we arrived the hotel in the evening after a long tired day, we were greeted by very friendly working staff. When we asking about the dinner options, because sometimes we find it difficult to find a good local restaurant to satisfy your stomach, the receptionist named Logan gave us various suggestion, we really appreciated his help. With the good location, free Wifi and breakfast, I think my overall staying here is more than excellent.

"Great stay!"
Michael E, 19 Octobre 2015

Great stay! Staff accommodated our request for a quiet room, top floor, over looking the park. Early next morning (5:30AM) coffee was good and strong and got the day going. Very friendly and helpful staff!

"West Yellowstone"
Kirk184, 19 Octobre 2015

Right near the entrance of West Yellowstone park. Plenty of eating places in walking distance. Walking distance to the majority of the stores in West Yellowstone. Don't forget to check out the Grizzly bear and Wolf center in case you don't see them in the park. A must see.

"great place to stay"
Jayna S, 19 Octobre 2015

I enjoyed the stay at this hotel as it was central to walking in West yellowstone and very close to the Yellowstone Park. The room had been updated and it was very comfortable. It was great to visit in the Fall as there were not a lot of people. We did miss the spa but we didn't have much time so it wasn't a problem

"Up graded motel 6"
Coleman T, 18 Octobre 2015

The price for what we got in a room was very disappointing. Not like most of the best westerns we stay at. Will never stay here again. The room was small, the bathroom was a 1960's style, and the parking was terrible.

"Great Yellowstone Experience"
janmP5815KA, 18 Octobre 2015

Would highly recommend this hotel to add to your Yellowstone experience. Location was fantastic--right near the gate to Yellowstone, staff very helpful and hotel very pet friendly. Stayed two nights and location provided us with ability to plan our route through Yellowstone.

"Great service, friendly staff"
alin b, 16 Octobre 2015

We only stayed there for one night. We got there earlier than we planned and Jim accommodate us immediately. Our room was big, breakfast was plentiful, staff was friendly, the hotel is placed right at the entrance in town. Everything was great! If you plan to visit Yellowstone and around there, that's the place to stay! Thank for everything.

stayed 5 days with friends and family. room was kept tidy,,breakfast was plentiful and good. staff could not have been nicer. great location at the entrance to town, acroos from the old football field.rooms a little on the pricey side but then everything is pricey in a tourist town.

"Great place to stay, friendly helpful staff"
Conda D, 11 Octobre 2015

Excellent location to Yellowstone and superb breakfast that is truly available for late risers like us (fresh hot eggs and sausage up until 10 am). Very clean and room was adequate, with the bed comfortable. But the main advantage and the reason for the five stars is that the staff is fantastic. Always friendly and provide a wealth of great info about Yellowstone. This is my go to place to stay!

"Such a PLEASANT Surprise!"
Doris L, 10 Octobre 2015

This Best Western is conveniently located (close to the National Park entrance), the check in staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is large and comfortable, for the area and pricing, this is an excellent value. The best surprise was the wonderful hot full breakfast in the morning. Apparently the hotel has been serving a full hot breakfast with delicious meats and eggs for the past two years and the Best Western website still list them as serving a Continental Breakfast. At checkout, we saw the owners and they were really pleasant and made us feel so welcomed. They really cared about maintaining the quality of their place. So if you are looking for a good value, look no further.

"Annual Yellowstone Trip"
Teresa M, 05 Octobre 2015

As part of our annual 2 week trip to the Yellowstone area, we have stayed at the Best Western Weston Inn many times, and stayed here recently again for 3 nights. We like the location as it is easy walking distance to West Yellowstone restaurants. We always stay in the annex as the rooms are much larger. The rooms are always clean, secure and functional. We were pleased to see the upgrade and remodel of the rooms as well as the breakfast room/lobby. The owner has put a lot into the upgrades and it was very nice. The managers of the property are very engaged in the operation, service oriented and helpful. Will stay here again.

"great stay"
ed t, 04 Octobre 2015

Great stay. The room was large and comfortable. It was quiet, which is very important to us. Parking was good. The staff was very professional and helpful, especially w/r questions about Yellowstone Park. We especially appreciate the day manager Mary, who went to extra lengths to help meet our needs as seniors, even though she was dealing with a fully occupied hotel.

"Nice Hotel"
Cheryl M, 04 Octobre 2015

This is a nice hotel, easy to find, staff are friendly and helpful. Car parking is a problem with insufficient parking spaces for the amount of rooms in the hotel. To get a good parking space arrive early. The rooms are a good size, very clean and the beds are very comfortable. This hotel is in an excellent location, if you are visiting Yellowstone National Park, as the West entrance to the park is only half a mile away.

"Disappointing "
SummerGirl2015, 03 Octobre 2015

This property was a poor value for the money. The walls were paper thin and the breakfast was full of processed foods. While the interior of the rooms have been upgraded, I still would not stay here again. In fact, I would avoid West Yellowstone altogether! prprocessed foods. verprocessed.

"Disappointing Stay...Noisy Room, Tour Groups and Chaotic Breakfast!"
jnjcoogee, 02 Octobre 2015

We've just had a very disappointing 4-night stay when we were expecting to have a lovely peaceful once-in-a-lifetime visit to Yellowstone NP. We made our booking nearly a year in advance, and we're Best Western members...but that doesn't guarantee you a nice room at this hotel. We were given a room in the new building which is like a dormitory building. It had no outlook, and we had a window which looked onto a messy backyard and a right-there satellite tower with fan-cooled electrics at the bottom operating all night...making for poor sleep. We tried to get a different room as soon as we arrived but the reception clerk was firm that that wasn't possible because the hotel was booked out. We didn't want to have any hassles so stayed...even though we did discuss finding another hotel. The building we were in had very bad sound insulation and it was so busy with tour groups while we were there...so the noise overall was bad..and the tour groups made continuous noise...loud talking at all hours, slamming of doors very early etc. In our room we could hear the talking in the adjacent room, plus coughing, sneezing, microwave, showers, toilet fan etc etc.We asked people to keep the noise down quite a few times, but they couldn't care less. As a result of the hotel being fully booked and with the tour groups, the situation in the small breakfast room was chaotic...quite ridiculous really. I don't know how the hotel lets this happen. (Maybe they could have an extra breakfast in the dormitory building as well when they are booked out). This hotel obviously didn't suit us, so if you're not concerned at all, and you get a good rate, go for it. We paid a high rate... and expected to have a good experience. We're writing this from a lovely BW hotel in Twin Falls...it's half the price, the hotel has met our requests for a quiet room, and there are no tour groups! .
