My wife and I went to the Aiden by Best Western for our Anniversary what a mistake! First day we got there the help was poor to say the least the overnight help could not care less! about anything try to get breakfast the first day there nothing! was told the girl that sets up the continental breakfast doesn't drive in the rain!! Manger could care less about your complaints. We went out for the day, to come back and find our room left open. Went to the manager no one had any idea why no explanation! Please DO NOT STAY HERE AWFUL!!!!!
Nice overnight stay. Good off season price. Room was clean, neat and comfortable. The lobby area was very nice. There was some renovation going on but did not affect my stay. Check in was quick and front desk staff was very efficient. Breakfast was kind of disappointing compared to other Best Westerns. It did say continental but it still was lacking. Conveniently located on Route 28 and a quick ride to Hyannis or to start your exploring.
To say I'm disgusted is an understatement, place was so nasty! They tried 3 rooms and every one had hair, pee / stains mattresses , stains all over , cracks / peeling in bathrooms . Took me and the 5 kids I was with out if there at 3 am we couldn't stay in a place like that .
I got locked out of a room that I paid an extra night for when I left the hotel to go on the road for an hour.. Asked Manager to get someone to clean room during abscence (was not done I when return).
This Best Western is my favorite location to stay on the Cape. It is situated about a mile from the beach and within short walking distance of multiple restaurants. I have stayed here multiple times and am impressed by the recent management who are extremely accommodating and strive to make their customers happy. I was offered a room upgrade for Christmas and it was pristine: quiet heater, windows that actually open to get fresh air, very comfortable bedding and mini fridge/microwave plus ample hotel quality towels. Despite breakfast no longer being included, it didn't matter since there are so many options (bring your own, Dunkin' next door etc.) and the onsite Indian restaurant Keshar more that compensates with convenience and quality. I'll be back!
Was not as good as previous stays. No free breakfast items, and the ones to purchase had been out in the case the previous day, musty smell in hallway, shower door wouldn't stay shut. Beds were comfortable.
I recently stayed at the Aiden in Yarmouth. I had my reservations given some of the comments that were previously posted, but I did not have that same experience. First my room was really clean, from the chairs to the bathroom, everything was perfect! Also, the staff that I spoke with were all excellent and very nice. It sounds like there was a recent change in management, which you can tell. I did not have a chance to try the restaurant in the lobby, but i will say that the food smelled incredible. I will have to try that the next time I am in town.
The lobby was nice, front desk was fine, but the bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the hallways had a musty smell. We were here for a wedding, so didn't bother complaining or switching rooms, but for almost 500 dollars for a two night stay I was expecting better.
Super modern, clean updated hotel A+ Very friendly staff Hotel has everything, indoor pool , breakfast Cafe, Indian restaurant and a bar and a fitness center Had a great couples weekend Highly recommended
This was at least our 4th stay at this Hotel. Overall we were pleased until this visit. The clerk at check-in was very UN-helpful, dismissive and never looked at us directly. We requested to use a different credit card than was used to make the reservation and were told by her this was not possible. However, after asking to speak to the manager the next morning another clerk was able to satisfy our request. Interesting! On the third day of our stay, we came back to our room in the late afternoon to find the door left open with the bolt out so it would not close. No housekeeping person was in sight. This was extremely disturbing and when we complained excuses were made but no real apology. Lastly... On the morning we were getting ready to check out, my husband went down to grab a few items from the continental breakfast provided and bring them to me in the room while I prepared for our departure. He was stopped and told they did not want food in the rooms. Strange since there is a microwave and a refrigerator in each room. As for the room itself. It could use some improvements... Wallpaper in the bathroom area was peeling in spots, the towel holder came out of the wall, and in the room itself, wallpaper that had started to peel was stapled onto the wall to hold it in place. Staff need to take guests' concerns more seriously and address the issues. Again, coming back to find our room open and available for anyone to walk in should have been better addressed and apologized for. This visit has completely changed our feeling for this hotel and we will likely not return. KC-LC Westchester County NY.
This room cost us $456 for one night We stayed in room 127 in August 2023. There was a strong musty odour of damp in the hotel & in our room. We wore socks as the floor was dark & dirty. I have included photos of the mould in the bathroom & bedroom. There were dirty stains on the yellow chair in the room. We stayed one night.-I did complete a review for Best Western - but they did not respond to our complaint. Breakfast was terrible .
We just spent 4 nights at the Aiden as part of a tour. The room was very clean with all the amenities you would need. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was very good and was put on special for our group. Large heated indoor pool. Our whole experience was extremely pleasant. Staff are friendly and competent. A great place to stay on the Cape.
We were very pleased with the 2 bedroom suite. It is ideal for families who want to have time together but also some privacy, especially when bed times are different. The facilities were convenient and the staff very nice. It's also very conveniently located for restaurant choices, museums, beaches and all of the Cape.
Clean room. Stuff very friendly. Room service was greatly appreciated. It was our second time visiting and we had a very good time at the hotel and also outside Many stores to go and a little beach to.
If you like musty hotel rooms then this is the place for you! Room smelt like cigarettes and air freshener. The sheets were dirty as was the carpet and furniture in the room. It was a place to stay in the cape, and that's pretty much it.
We booked a 3 night summer getaway with short notice so availability everywhere was limited. This hotel looks decent from the outside but the interior was a bit of a mess. Room was very small, carpets and chairs were stained. Bathroom door wouldn't close properly and the toilet paper holder was broken. The worst part, however, was the mustiness and dampness. The room smelled like old cigarette smoke. It was so damp and humid (despite running the AC on full blast 24/7) that our bathing suits and towels were still soaked after hanging for 3 days to dry. The bags of snacks we brought were instantly stale and damp. The wallpaper was peeling from the dampness and there were mold stains all over the walls. The hallways had the same feeling of dampness. The (I assume mold) was irritating to everyone's allergies - and improved significantly when we were outside of the hotel.
Overall we had a great experience at this hotel. It is super close to the Inflatable Park/Water Park and we were able to walk there and back which saved parking costs! It's also close to great beaches and shopping!
Heavy smell of air freshener in the room, mold in the bathroom, wallpaper coming off. Not sure how this can be a 4-star property; I would rate it 3-star at best. Although we did not have food there, the bar staff in the Indian restaurant is friendly. Indoor pool looks unclean, front office staff was a little snappy when we arrived 1:30pm “you are wayyyy too early to get a room”…
The good: front desk staff was friendly and attentive. Even was nice enough when I asked if the store sold Aloe, to try to provide me packets when I told her I'd just go to CVS. Also super quick to help when I lost my room keys. The bad: the smells. First, we stayed in the hotel near the front entrance. There is a new Indian restaurant in there. I'm sure if you like Indian food it wouldn't be so bad, but I don't want restaurant smell creeping to my door, much less Indian food (great taste bad smell). While there, they pumped their septic, which is fun smelling. Also emptied the trash and blocked my car in so we got that wonderful aroma. Also, while the room was in better shape than the one we had last year, the shower tub wall needed replacing. The room wasn't well cleaned. The breakfast was tiny and picked over. Their entire setup was on an 8 foot folding table. With more than 1 person making coffee, you had to dance a bit. The space was cramped, but they still found room for a tip jar! Had the price been higher, I would have expected more. Fair value.
The hotel room was terrible...black mold in bathroom, toilet paper holder hanging off the wall, prior guests hair in the shower, floor was not vacuumed, air conditioning stopped working as we were going to bed and we were unable to fix it. The pool was filthy...I can't believe people actually swam in it. Ask to leave the bar area at 5 pm after traveling 5 hours because we were disturbing the other 4 guests. We were a group of 5 couples that were just arriving and greeting each other with smiles, laughter and hugs. A few of us had just ordered our first drink. Had we been drunk and obnoxious I would understand. All 10 of us are professional, hard working adults. It was so embarrassing.
This is definitely in the “would not stay again” category. It started at check in, when we realized both luggage carts had broken wheels and we (and everyone else) checking in and out could barely push the carts. Upon getting to our room, it was just filthy. There were red stains (some gooey) on our carpets, and the floors were filthy . I put on white socks when I got in, and within half an hour the bottoms were black. Our shower door was broken and would swing open while we took a shower. The baseboard tiles in the bathroom fell off the wall. Our toilet was broken and would not flush. There was a lot of rust in the bathroom. I went to get into bed and found a hair in my sheet. Housekeeping would not answer so I had to go downstairs to the front desk. They only had one person working the whole place in the evening and she had to shut down the desk to get a sheet. She also said it was the only one she had. By the way, the “blankets” are thin mattress protectors. The green chairs in the room by the table were so filthy they were black. The room goes between freezing with the a/c to horribly humid when they a/c is off. Room also smelled odd and we had to Febreeze it. Gym had empty water bottle that was not replaced. Location is good and parking is free. Breakfast is lacking, but there is a Dunkin next door. Overall, for the money it cost, I was expecting it to be functional and clean. It was neither.
I miss the breakfast place & food at the pool. Indian restaurant is odd choice for a Cape Hotel. Love the rooms. Bathroom door lacks privacy. Stayed in 2 bedroom suite which both rooms were spacious & clean. Staff very friendly. Price was good. Convenient location
I've been staying at the Cape Point hotel for years. A few years ago, Best Western bought and remodeled the property, and their improvements made a good hotel great. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooms are modern and clean. The hotel is perfectly located on Rt 28 between Dennis and Hyannis. It's a little pricey, but then everything on the Cape in the summer is expensive. I highly recommend it.
We made a last minute reservation due to a bad experience at different hotel that we had originally. The front desk person couldn't have been more accimodating. She knew that our group had accessibility issues. She found a ground floor room that was perfect. She showed me the room for a second so I could be certain it would be accessible. She showed me the best entrances. Check out was a breeze. The breakfast was very plain but served it's purpose.
The rooms are a bit moldy. The shower was not cleaned The 4 days we were there. I dropped a cap off a shampoo bottle and left it there to see if they would find it. Never did. Also they have a barnyard door in the bathroom! Can see in the sides. No privacy at all. The pool area is small but nice. They have plenty of pool towels and a shower. The front desk night person Nichole is amazing. She is the best part of the hotel. Helpful. Kind. The breakfast buffet is average. Most staff very nice.
Very disappointed with this hotel and will never stay there again, nor recommend to friends - or anyone else. The positives: good location, easy access to most places, beds were really comfortable, plenty of parking, and the lobby was nice. The negatives: the staff - nobody seemed to be happy, not particularly helpful, asked for maintenance to fix something in my room - never happened. Lady in the “breakfast” room was particularly rude, and also walking round eating, and drinking from a can! Breakfast was appalling - had to ask for hot water and a teabag, rather old bread for toasting, very little choice, and mostly pre-packed). Interestingly, when there was a large group of people (on a tour) for breakfast, fresh muffins, croissants, bagels appeared - honestly, as soon as those people left, those items were cleared away, and it was only 9.15! (Breakfast finished at 10.00). Rooms were not cleaned well - beds not made properly - but to be fair, there was always a good supply of towels. Asked to see the manager, but he wasn't available, even though the receptionist said he was in the hotel every day. All in all, very disappointing stay and most definitely not worth the price we paid
Clean, comfortable bed, and good shower. Can not be beat for price and value. Perfect for what I was looking for. Complimentary breakfast had good coffee, cereal and a few essentials. Good inclusion for price of overnight stay.
The older gentleman at the front desk was very condescending and unprofessional, going so far as to call the women “dear” in a negative way. The breakfast was very minimal. Room was lovely. I loved the mural and it was updated. The pool was nice as well. There is an Indian restaurant in the lobby, so there are strong smells of Curry at times in the lobby area, as well as down the halls. I am not a fan of curry, so I didn't like that. Overall, the employee at the desk ruined this stay. He was just so rude that my jaw dropped several times at his comments to a friend when she had an issue checking in. The maintenance employee had to assist her and get her into a room, as the desk employee didn't know what to do and wouldn't call a manager. More training is needed and they need to make sure they train him on how to properly speak to female guests.
This hotel has historically been a great choice for our family. I have no idea what changed here but it is horrible now. Faulty fire alarms, dirty rooms, no staff to help, no breakfast put out. We spent half an hour outside in the cold yesterday waiting for the fire department to come turn off the alarms, a common occurrence for them apparently. No staff came out to let the guests know things were fine, no one checked to make sure we were evacuating despite there being staff in the hallways turning over rooms. It was a debacle. The front desk had no staff, I couldn't buy drinks or snacks for our room nor could I report my dirty shower in person or ask for a towel. Someone always answered the phone, though I'm not sure where the person was because as I said, we didn't find anyone. The Continental breakfast was advertised in their cafe. The cafe was not open or staffed, no hot food or drinks, and the Continental was never put out. I called about it and spoke to the mysterious front desk man, but it was never rectified. I called best western and they said that it's up to the Aiden to fix issues and refund customers. She said she'd escalate my issues to upper management but I'm not optimistic.
Do not take a team sport group here. We stayed for a hockey tournament and that staff was awful. Ripped out signs off doors. Printed rules and handed them to parents as if we were children. Kicked us out of hallways at 6pm (not even quiet hour). Overall terrible experience and would not return! They should not list themselves for youth sports. We also let the tournament know that they should not be included in the future!
Front desk greeting and checkin went smooth. Rooms and amenities were clean. Even had some towel art. The location to restaurants was nice. Access to the beach was only a short drive. We were just there for the day but it was an overall good experience.
Stayed at this property for three nights while visiting the area. The room was clean and relatively updated. The only downside of the room were the "ugly" stained yellow chairs. The attention to detail was otherwise very good, front desk staff were friendly and welcoming and it was a nice place to stay. The downside of the property... there was little to no lighting in the parking lot, making it very dark when coming in at night. I like not having bright light shining in my room window but guest safety is important. The other thing that was a bit off-putting was that breakfast was very limited "grab and go" items. Some limited fresh fruit selections and pre-packaged muffins. However, there was a "hot-foods counter" where they offered some hot breakfast items (toasted bagel w/cream cheese, breakfast sandwich) for an additional charge. I realize that each property is separately owned and operated but we stayed at a Best Western Plus in Plymouth for the 4 nights prior and they offered the full hot breakfast experience that we've come to appreciate and it was fully included in the price of our stay. Just something to think about.
Convenient location, in room Keurig with cups and tea bags, plenty of towels (no washcloths). The room was dated-wallpaper peeling a bit, fabric chairs were stained. Breakfast was just coffee, packaged muffins and cereal. Milk for the cereal was in a shared gallon sized jug. No fruit, no tea options. The indoor pool looked nice but did not use.
Stay away. I reserved a single room - 2 queen beds (confirmed on my confirmation email). When I checked in they upgraded bc they said it was all that was clean-then tried charging me for the suite. Had to call and have them refund. In the room the toilet seat was broken, tile was falling off the trim and the shower door didn't shut. Also bfast is terrible - a few cereal bowl options and muffins in a bag.
They lie about being handicapped accessible for wheelchair. Trash bins outside of entrance door was never emptied from Thursday - Sunday. No place to hang your clothes. When they have bus tours there is not enough coffee or continental breakfast items for regular guests
The hotel is in need of renovation. Our room had peeling wall paper and a bathroom door that didn't shut. The door issue was design, never meant to close, there's no latch. Really odd and uncomfortable. The breakfast was sparse, consisted of prepackaged muffins, apples, oranges, yogurt, juice and coffee. No napkins for days, they ran out. There is a place to buy breakfast foods, but the person running it never bothered turning around to take my order and I gave up after an extended period of time. The price does not match the facility. Too expensive for low quality.
Rooms need renovating. Peeling wallpaper, water damage in bathroom. Bathroom door didn't provide any privacy nor function properly. Pool was supposed too be heated. It was not. Towels were small and stiff. Will not go back
Great hotel and friendly staff members. The rooms were very cool with background lights and different scenery. My only complaint is that the bathroom door stuck out a bit so anyone walking by could look in and see you doing your business. Other than that one issue in our room, I would definitely stay there again. We loved it!
Do not recommend this hotel. No rooms service at all. Dirty room with mold in the shower. Mold in the pool area and trash in all the corridors. My last trip in a Best Western chain hotel. Terrible experience.
Spotty wifi, larger Queen no tub since we had a toddler so figured bigger room would have one not regular queens , tv remote didn't work sometimes, breakfast was disappointing no free hot items, not even some toast. Key cards need work. Room was nice and clean.
Severely understaffed with unfriendly workers that were indifferent to hotel guests needs. Advertised as continental breakfast but in reality the few items were disappointing and extremely limited. Hallways were noisy and ice machine was often out of order. Room rates were not commensurate with quality of amenities, staffing and service.
The hotel in general was clean and new. There was a small electrical problem in room which was promptly fixed. The headboard light switch would not turn off lights. They could have used some different fabric softener for towels. They were very rough. The continental breakfast buffet was the worst I've ever had. Prepackaged muffins and some danish and cereal. No butter. Probably would not stay there again
Very poor service for the price. No house keeping at all. The few housekeeping employees did not provide any replacement towels or amenities. Asked for towels at front desk and never got them. Rooms are small. Apparently, when constructed, they ran out of money for bathroom doors - The sliding doors don't close or lock - absolutely ridiculous. The only positive was the pools.
Great place to stay. It worked out perfect for our short trip. We did experience sugar ants and had to bring an air mattress for someone but had no room for it. Also hallway stunk like pot. We would stay again, but will check the room thoroughly prior to unpacking.
We went in the Spring, so it was very quiet. Room was clean & staff was wonderful. Met Frankie at night & he was very helpful. It was in a great location. Used hotel so, we could visit my sister in an assisted living facility which was nearby so that was convenient.
very small room - no more than 2 adults can fit; no closet; sink is in main room so no privacy there.. Tiny table covered with microwave and coffee pot. Stuffy odor in halls both day and night. Continental breakfast very limited.
The location is perfect for any place that you want to visit in the area. A water park and some gift shops, and ice cream shop are within walking distance. Many restaurants are less than two miles away. Hotel is very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was just enough.
The room itself was fine and somewhat freshly redone. The walls are very, very thin. Even with "quiet hours" at night and in the morning I could hear every door open & close and every conversation in the hallway from my bed. I did not find the staff particularly friendly. A very sad looking complimentary "continental" breakfast consisted of pre-packaged muffins and cinnamon rolls(?), old fruit, small cups of cereal and regular or decaf coffee. "Hot" breakfast was available for purchase, but honestly just grab something better at Dunkin next door or at Ann & Fran's Kitchen across the street. Overall, overpriced for what it is and they should probably take "breakfast included" off the description. You can probably find other hotels that offer a better value in the area.
Nothing great, nothing bad. Quick stay at a nicely remodeled hotel. Should probably have been less than $200 for one night, but was in town for memorial service & no time to search. All in all no complaints.
Pillows were not freshly laundered and smelled of sweaty body odor - two of the 4 pillows had stains. Asked front desk for fresh/clean pillows and was told the laundry staff was just getting ready to leave for the day. Was able to secure ONE freshly laundered pillow as a replacement. This was so disappointing to know that cleaning standards do not include at a minimum freshly laundered pillows. It made me wonder what other sanitizing had been done. At check-in was given a paper with instructions to only use the wall controls to change the temperature of air. In room a warning was taped directly below the wall controls saying don't use this- use the unit itself to control it. ?? Breakfast should have included an option for at least one healthy item - for those who choose not to eat sugary carbs or cannot (diabetics) eat cereals and oatmeal and prepackaged muffins. Just simple packaged boiled eggs and simple fruit would have made all the difference, easy to grab and go.
The first thing to say is that the staff were mostly very friendly and helpful. However, I was quite disappointed by this hotel as we often stay in Best Westerns and I would say this was one of the worst we have stayed at. The walls are incredibly thin - (our neighbour kept us awake all night with his snoring - thankfully he was only there for one night!)
Room was very clean upon arrival. Greeted upon arrival very nicely. Staff was very nice. No room service during the 7 day stay. However, anything we asked for we got from the front desk, like clean towels and coffee cups, soap, etc. Would stay again.
First time staying at this Best Western but we've stayed at a few dozen across the country. The exterior and interior lobby are very clean and welcoming. The staff was polite and accommodating. Ritu was extremely helpful getting us a room after having to move us because the fridge didn't work and then again because our room view was first level parking lot. Room was average, not a fan of the sliding barn door for the bathroom. We were disappointed of their Covid procedure or lack of. Breakfast is very lacking, muffins in factory plastic! The price is very reasonable though. Too many options on the Cape to stay again.
We wanted to stay somewhere central and The Aiden by Best Western was the spot. Centrally located in West Yarmouth on Route 28 is near restaurants and shopping. The hotel looks like it has been recently remodeled with nicely appointed rooms and bathrooms. The continental breakfast is spartan but the coffee is hot. The front desk staff was great especially Diedre who went above and beyond helping us out. We will stay here again on our next visit to the Cape.
Got no sleep kids running in hall banging doors etc etc once we complained 8 boys hanging out side our door. Operations manager rude and very unprofessional. Breakfast was pretty lousy but compared to the noise and how the operations manager treated us it was nothing.
We are long time “ Cale Point ers “. We took our daughter and a friend for her 14th birthday . Anyone that visited remembers the huge pool, great breakfast, coffee and tea all day . Game room and activities for the kids . We were very disappointed with the BW @Cale Point . There is nothing Cale Point about it . They took the pool area and shrunk the pool to less than half. No kiddie pool,no hot tub, no game room, no breakfast restaurant. Nightly dining we were told ( weekends only ) but closed . Nice beds , keurig didn't work and warm water for shower ( although the shower was nice ). If you are going expecting anything like Cale Point , go elsewhere. Some things should stay the same
I was traveling through New England and this was my first time in Cape Cod. Since I already had Best Western Rewards points, I chose this hotel. Overall, everyone on staff that I encountered at the hotel was so nice and friendly. The room was nice and clean. I loved the breakfast, and enjoyed the indoor swimming pool. I would love to stay at this hotel again if I return to Cape Cod.
I brought my 14 year old son and his 4 friends for a little overnight trip. I had accidentally booked the rooms through Expedia and had to change the reservation...It was a nightmare and I was so upset about it. I could not get any help from Expedia. When we arrived at the hotel..The front office manager FRANKIE....took care of everything for me.. He was the sweetest, most professional and helpful person. I would come back again just because of the way Frankie handled the situation. I loved this hotel. It was SUPER clean, modern and FUN!! The kids loved being there and they hung out in the pool and modern cool lobby. I was able to work in the cafe and listen to great tunes on the musak all day! The staff here are wonderful A simple, clean hotel with AMAZING staff..ANd, a hidden gem for roast beef sandwiches is right across the street!! :)
Everyone working at this hotel were very accommodating, efficient, and kind. The Italian buffet was delicious. It was nice to be able to stay at the hotel instead of going out to eat. The front desk staff really went out of there way to help me find a room near my group which made the stay much more inclusive for us. The pool provided lots of fun for the kids. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Amazing service, beautiful hotel, modern with great amenities I'm an event planner and will be recommending this hotel for all my Cape brides for room blocks And they have a function space for pre and post wedding celebrations Thank you for a great experience
I travel 3 hours to reach the Aiden and I have been greeted each time with the most warm welcome!! The Staff go out of their way to attend to your every need. The rooms are miticulously clean and the beds are Heaven to sleep in!! After a long journey in the winter cold, the 86 degree swimming pool is a pure delight and much warmer than most upscale hotels. Management and staff should be highly complimented as I feel right at home in this Aiden Best Western!! I will stay here anytime I visit Cape Cod.
There was not hot water. Two whole days and never did our doom get hot water. We were starting there for a hockey tournament. The girls needed to shower. I also have a medical condition that I need hot water and was left with I could check out. Totally unacceptable. No effort was put in to help move us.
I had a delightful stay at the Aiden. Everything seemed recently remodeled and was wonderful. I pleasantly surprised by the shower (no tub with flimsy shower curtain) with washcloths folded into flowers and good quality bath products. I did stay in the off season, so the value was impeccable for the quality.
No hot water and no reimbursement! The only thing worse than the cold showers is thinking about the housekeeping staff “cleaning” without hot water. Mgr on-site is polite but should have the ability to reimburse guests at checkout. He had to manage many unhappy people, I hope he's well paid.
Great hotel, Excellent amenities and topnotch Staff. Julia at check in so pleasant she explained throughly the aminities and times of opening and closing of the facilities. She came from behind the desk to give us our room keys and show us the hall way to our room.
A great hotel choice, recently renovated, wonderfully convenient location. Plus it's very affordable. Lots of free amenities. Rooms are spacious, well furnished and decorated. Beds are incredibly comfortable. The entire staff are professional, friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Frank Turrill, Guest Services/Front Office Manager and his whole front desk team, including Ritu. Because of them, check-in/check-out procedures are quick and seamless, and they easily accomodate guests' requests, when able. Equally important - many kudos to the entire housekeeping and maintenance staff - the whole hotel is absolutely spotless - inside and out. Guests who stay at the Aiden by Best Western - Cape Point get a lot of bang for their buck.
Great place to stay in every way except for ghastly prepackaged muffin/sweet roll breakfast. Well maintained rooms, comfortable mattress, comfortable furnishings, good lighting………. TV screen actually bigger than necessary…….so big it was hard to watch. No corners cut on investment in this property…….except for the post COVID breakfast…….
This hotel has been updated from The Cape Point Inn. It has a coziness about it. Frank Turrill is the Front Office Manager, he is awesome to work with. Unfortunately with Covid they are a little short handed in the breakfast department, but they did have hot coffee and muffins!
From check-in to check-out every member of the staff from the Front Desk, Breakfast clerk, maintenance, cleaning staff and General Manager was very friendly and accommodating. Diedre at the Front Desk was exceptional. She made us feel like we were the only guests when she was talking to us and assured us that our stay at Best Western would meet our expectations and it did. As we were checking in we met the General Manager, Jeannie who was so down to earth and very friendly. Due to Covid-19, the breakfast was pre-packaged muffins, danish, cereal and oatmeal. There was fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, milk and coffee and tea. I appreciated their effort to keep their guests safe during these uncertain times. Yasar, the breakfast attendant, could not be nicer. Always smiling and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed is very comfortable. We used the fitness center which was also clean. The entire hotel was very clean at all times. I recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again when in the area.
This 2 year old motel is already a little tired. Our experience started out not getting the room I had a reservation for. I reserved a roll in shower room and didn't get it. Then in the room I got the AC didn't work. Then the toilet seat was so loose it almost fell off. I showed the repair man how to fix it. The room had peeling wallpaper and frayed carpet (2 year old motel). Towels were to be left outside door each day. We had to get clean towels each day at desk or they would leave them on the floor by the door NOT IN A PLASTIC BAG! Breakfast was not good. Bus group had their own table and variety and a women rudely told us "that's not for you if your not on the bus"! Thank goodness for the Dunkin next door. This was the first time we ever had a motel room with no small closet or comfortable sitting chair. There were hangers in a drawer but we wondered why. This is a nice building outside in a convenient location. The choice is yours.
Great location, really modern and clean rooms. The thing that makes this a great place to stay are the staff, all the people are incredibly helpful and generous. Jeanne the General Manager and Mark the Operations Manager have made my stay seemless.
No problems. Because of Covid no room service but enough towels, breakfast. The staff is very friendly and professional. I am recovering from knee surgery so the walk-in shower was a blessing .Definitely recommend.
I am leaving tomorrow and I must say that the rooms and common areas are very clean. Beds are comfortable and staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend this place and stay here again in the future.
Stayed 6 nights with a family of 5, two adults and 3 kids ranging from toddler to teen. We booked adjoining king bedrooms as that was really all that was available by the time we booked. We really enjoyed having the two spaces for kids and adults and the price was similar to other hotel options that were 2 beds in one room. Definitely a win there. I struggled with rating 3 or 4 stars here. Without Covid I would say solid 4, with it a solid 3 and here is why. Positive things first. Front desk staff was super friendly. The hotel was clean and quite modern. Two pools for the kids, inside and outside. Rooms were spacious, plenty of room for our travel toddler bed on the floor. Location is super. Lots of parking available. And the concierge who did my booking over the phone was great. I was booking last minute and he made it all work out perfectly. Now the not so good. There is no servicing of rooms regardless of length of stay. I would have liked at least 1 service offered at halfway through the stay, we were there a whole week after all. We had to go to the front desk for towels, additional soap, and toilet paper during the week we stayed. I think even with Covid you could do a reduced service schedule. There is no discount so reduced seems like a compromise. Also have to place trash in hallways each morningfor pick up. No one enters your room during stay. The outdoor pool should be cleaned more often. Never saw it vacuumed in 6 days and there was a lot of junk at the bottom. That is just normal maintenance for an outdoor pool. That said, we swam anyway so it wasn't a showstopper. Bathroom doors are farmhouse style and offer no privacy and my toddler loved opening them while they were in use. Adult room bathtub drain was clogged and took forever to drain from a shower. Very yucky. The worst part is breakfast. The normal continental breakfast was replaced by a woman at a table who greeted you by asking for a room number immediately. Then she offers you one of a few prepackaged muffins or cereals, coffee, milk, and they had fresh baked muffin option, singular, as well. Besides being rude, she wore no mask or gloves and handed us our food. My question is why have her there at all? Me taking a prepackaged item is no different than her handing it to me. And to that point, if you have someone dispensing food, why not offer to serve me the usual scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and or waffle? I get with Covid you want to keep guests from touching things, but you're already having a worker touch my food so just give me all the options from behind the table. This seems completely logical to me, but there must be a reason why they aren't doing it. I know Covid makes things difficult but this was ridiculous. I heard others complaining about this as well. Sadly we went to Dunkin Donuts every day after the first morning. Luckily that is right next door and can walk there but costs me more and I already paid for the room that includes breakfast. Truly disappointed that BW didn't have a better solution here. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay and all agreed we'd stay there again so just go in knowing the situation and you will have no issue.
From the check in to check out, the customer service was excellent. Rooms are clean and has a mini fridge to put your water or left over food. Microwave is in the lobby but it didn't bother us going there since we were on the first floor and a few steps away. On our last day, we bought lobsters and had our dinner on their lounge next to the bar since it was not open yet. My whole family enjoyed it since we were the only one dining. All in all we had a great stay. Highly recommended.
This was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. The staff was awesome and the whole place so clean. I highly recommend them and will be staying again. Thank you so much for making our vacation great.
Aiden Best Western was a nice stay for a short weekend getaway. Modern and clean, friendly check in staff. Would definitely recommend. Wish the breakfast was a bit better , But Aiden Best Western at Cape point was a great Central location in Cape Cod.
I would definitely stay here again. The location was great and close to many restaurants and activities. Rooms were very clean and staff was excellent. Great experience during a time when staffing is a challenge!
Hotel is located right in the middle of everything - beaches, attractions for the kids, dining - it's the perfect spot. The hotel is clean and we'll maintained. The staff was courteous, friendly, and extremely helpful.
The staff was nice and the hotel was clean. The breakfast is something but not much of a breakfast, for the most part it's packaged food - mini muffins, wrapped muffins etc. and some fruit. It's good enough to grab and go if you're in a hurry in the morning. There is a Dunkin Donuts attached to their driveway so that was very convenient to walk over and grab breakfast before the beach or something. The pool was a nice treat after a day at the beach. My biggest gripe is that the shower hot water never really got *hot*. It was warm for most of the shower but towards the end of the shower it started to get hot. People we went with said the same about their shower. In the end, depending on the price for the particular stay I would probably stay again. The location is good and it's a place to lay your head at night but I like my showers hot. I think it was priced a bit high for what you get.
Very nice clean hotel, no room service due to covid. However when I was in need of bar soap for my family of five after a long day at the beach, the young man asked how many? I replied 5, the lady next to him assuming his supervisor insisted on him giving me only one. So if you plan on staying there, bring your own bar soap or bodywash
This was a decent, clean hotel, close to mid Cape attractions. The beds were moderately comfortable, there is a refrigerator and Keurig in the room. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is no housekeeping due to covid, you have to get new towels etc from the front desk, but that didn't bother us. We'd stay here again.
Extremely disappointed! There was hair in the shower, the shower turn cold every time anyone else in the hotel used it and the mini refrigerator freezer was completely filthy and covered in brown ice. Also the toilet seat in the bathroom was broken and slid all over the place. There was no lock on the bathroom door and the coffee maker did not work. We reported the problems and they did nothing about it.
We had a great experience at this hotel. It's very clean and new looking (renovated in 2019). The people that work there are very nice, helpful, and accommodating. We plan on returning to the Cape in the near future and will definitely stay here again.
My family (husband, 2 kids 12 + 10) stayed at the Aiden for 3 nights. We paid about $175 a night. I will start off by saying that all of the employees were very friendly and helpful. This hotel is clearly understaffed. The breakfast, because of covid, was VERY limited. (prepacked danishes, cereal, sometimes fruit (if you got there early enough). During the week it ended at 9am, on the weekend 10am. If you arrived at the end you ran the risk of having very few choices. Luckily there is a Dunkin right next door. I think what bothered me the most was how stingy there were with the food. They kept track of who had been there. You could not go back for more food. They also would not give you more than 1/2 cup of coffee at a time. There are Keurig's in the room so we mostly just used that. If you're picking this hotel because it has breakfast included, I would suggest maybe staying somewhere else. The hotel is remodeled, and like other reviewers have stated, poorly done. This didn't bother me that much because of what we paid. I did have a "you get what you pay for" attitude. I did like that the beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. We had one of the larger 2 queen rooms with the couch and I was pleasantly surprised how spacious it was for a family of 4. The addition of the mini refrigerator was very helpful for us. The pools on the other hand were very dirty and not maintained. The indoor pool consistently had hair (I mean CLUMPS) all over the pool deck and some in the water. The water was very cloudy, which means the chemicals were not balanced. The outdoor pool was not as bad but definitely showing major signs of wear, and could use a really good skimming. Overall, it was a good trip, but like I said, I would've been much more frustrated if I had paid July or August rates.
The rooms are large and well organised. Also quiet and clean. The staff managed to give you fresh towels if you ask. The Hotel is near restaurants, CVS and 2min from the tourist center. there are 2 pools outside and inside.
If I could give this zero stars I would for a few reasons. 1.Overpriced for the quality. Came here with my family and was very disappointed. The staff was lovely, just the management needed to get it together. 2.The pool outside dirty and when asked about it all I got was that the pump was broken and it didn't matter anyways because no one was out there so no rush to fix it. It is advertised that their restaurants are open and so is their café but it is not the case. If I had known that they were so understaffed and that I was going to not receive any room service or any basic housekeeping I would have cancelled a few days before. 3.We had to put out the trash and towels each day at the door and grab our own towels at the front desk every time. The hallways smelled like something died in them and the outside pool was no better. I am not one to complain about much, but when I am paying $900 for 4 nights, I would like my sheets changed once a day and my room cleaned, it IS a vacation after all. I was completely horrified. Oh and the bathroom door had this huge gap in it so people in the room could see you taking care of your business. The door kept sliding back open and it took them 3 hours to come fix it. Ugh, I want my money back so bad. Very heartbroken about the management. 4.The fridge behind the front desk where they usually keep soft drinks and sodas, was broken as well and they weren't doing anything to fix it for the four nights that I stayed. Breakfast was just these wrapped little muffins and the coffee tasted like the bottom of the barrel just like the rest of their service. 5. Their personalities are the only thing that was a positive here. Their work ethic, not so much. STAY AWAY. SPEND THE MONEY ELSEWHERE. IT IS WORTH IT.
For the money, the rooms were a decent size, and the bed was comfortable. Everything else seemed to be fine, too. It is a very nice location on Route 28 which can get you quickly to Hyannis and other Cape Cod towns. Does it need some updating - yes. But it worked for us this trip!
The stay was not good and have stayed there in past and much better.. Room carpet needs to be cleaned, chair stains, outlet out of wall Pool not being cleaned.. Garbage not collected outside very frequently .. Observed another person checking out early due to hotel not being up to par.. We all paid a good rate for no service.
Stayed at this hotel last week. Rooms aren't terrible, air conditioning is a little old and chairs are very stained. The entire week my family and I were given 2 small towels for showering (for a family of 4). Each time we would ask for more, they said there were none available. Which is unacceptable for a hotel in the beginning of their most busiest season. When leaving, I realized I may have left a personal belonging in the room and when I called to ask if they have found it, the person working the front desk picked up my call and proceeded to hang up in my ear multiple times. I get it, I'm sure the front desk is very busy, but there is zero need to abruptly end a call without even answering it. It's extremely rude! I have an event in Cape Cod next month, this hotel could have had a regular guest but unfortunately I will be looking into other hotels in the area.
First impression; this was quickly and poorly renovated. Still had old carpeting with stains in hallways and rooms. We were on the first floor and found that the hallways had an unpleasant odor to them most likely from the old carpeting .The rooms were very tight for more than two people to get dressed, small bathroom with the only door for privacy while changing. The outdoor pool was closed, no water in the pool no furniture set up, would have been nice, the indoor pool water was green and shut down for most of the two days we stayed. The breakfast was a folding table setup in the seating area with dry cereal and some juices and a few muffins. Every time we called the front desk no one would pick up, you had to either go down or call repeatedly hoping eventually someone would pick up. . We were very unhappy considering we based our stay on the misleading reviews. There were signs to wear masks but no one was. Pros; the rooms had slow close doors so no doors slamming (however there was not many other guests) Beds were comfortable and location was great.
We spent 3 nights at this location and other than an issue with an inexperienced person at check in, we quite enjoyed the experience. The hotel is 2 story and has only one elevator at the office end of the building and the building is about one football field long. Best to request ground level rooms are or rooms on second level with low room numbers.
Family friendly hotel set on a main road in West Yarmouth in the middle of Cape cod. Lots of restaurants, diners and stores nearby. Dunkin donuts next door, CVS down the street, Cape cod mall 10 min drive away, Mayflower beach 20 min drive away. Would recommend.
We spent two nights at this hotel for our 9 year wedding anniversary as my husband had never been to the Cape. The location is great as it is mid Cape. Easy to get to Hyannis and only about a half hour to the National Seashore. The hotel itself seems fairly new. The rooms are quite large. The decor is beautiful. Even my husband commented on the beach scene artwork behind the bed. I really liked the little LED lightstrip nightlight behind the bed. The towels were soft and water pressure and temperature were good. There was a little one cup coffee maker in the room. I don't drink coffee, but that is convenient for those that do. They had Dunkin coffee pods. If they had a hot chocolate pod then I would have used it! Speaking of Dunkin, there is one right next door. I would have rated this hotel better if it weren't for two things. One was the extremely rude neighbors pretty much in the entire hallway. I slept awful the first night because they were loud both in the room next door and in the hallway. I know the hotel can't help rude neighbors, but perhaps a little more insulation? We could even hear mumbling conversations of our neighbors during the day. The second was entirely the hotels fault and a first for me while staying at a hotel. I had about an hour left of sleep before checking out when my husband and I were woken up by the fire alarm! We evacuated and within a few minutes the fire department allowed us back in. Crazy! While I was checking out one of the staff asked if I had a pleasant stay. I said yes except for the rude awakening by the fire alarm. Then another staff member said yeah, we burnt the bacon. Wow, okay. Maybe next time don't do that. Speaking of food, the included grab and go breakfast wasn't clearly marked and one of the staff was pretty rude to me. I think I might have been there near the end of the hours, but that is no excuse to be rude. The selection wasn't great either. Muffins, yogurt, cereal and fruit. The only fruit they had were apples and oranges. So minus rude neighbors, a rude awakening and a rude staff member, this stay would have been perfect!
Incredibly loud doors and upstairs ppl made an outrageous amount of noise constantly (heavy feet, weird random thunks at all hours of the day and night). The hotel refused to change my room, even though there was only 5 cars in the parking lot. It is pretty overall, but I was treated horribly and it ruined my trip.
It's a reasonably priced, relatively recently renovated, and very conveniently located hotel with an indoor swimming pool which is a huge plus especially if you travel with kids. Our room was spacious (2 queen beds with extra space), clean, and modern looking. We wish there were an actual closet and a microwave in the room though. Breakfast is included but the options were very limited due to the covid restrictions (only cold and prepackaged: corn flakes, milk, muffin).
My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I wish there were a bit more options at breakfast (even just bagel and cream cheese or butter). The property was very clean as were the rooms. The pool area was very nice. I like that they had a shower in the pool area to get the chorine off. I also would love to be able to buy the pillows that are used in the room. So comfortable.
There is so much room in the suite! The bedroom has 2 queen size beds that are so comfortable, a smaller table with a chair, storage for clothes along with a mini fridge and a large tv. The room is provided with an ironing board and iron. The only thing is there is no place to hang your clothes. The living room area separate from the bedroom had a table with 2 chairs, a sofa that can be pulled out for an extra bed, coffee table, storage for clothes, a mini fridge and a large screen TVs. There are 2 vanities. One when you come into the suite which has a small Keurig coffee maker with supplies, a hairdryer along with toiletries and towels. The bathroom has a beautiful shower with a vanity well stocked with toiletries and towels. It's better looking than most people's bathrooms. The decor is awesome! The wallpaper is of the Sagamore Bridge sign and the bridge itself in both the bedroom and living room along with other Cape related pictures. You can control both living spaces temperatures and the heating and cooling units won't keep you awake with loud noise. You won't be disappointed because it is so warm and cozy.
We used the Aiden as a base for a weekend stay in Cape Cod. This is a large, motel-style establishment with two floors and tons of parking. The property is new and clean. It's about midway on the cape - Hyannis is about a 15 minute drive, Falmouth is 40, so is Wellfleet. Rooms with two beds are more spacious than single-bedded rooms, but not so much that you would feel cramped. The pool didn't seem to be operational while I was there (but I wasn't hankering to swim). Breakfast was packaged options (muffins, cereals, fruit) that was served to us by a friendly attendant. As with other places during COVID, the room was not serviced during your stay. The price offered was very fair. No reason not to stay here if it suits your plans.
It was a great spot. The rooms are clean and new. The pool was well kept. They figured out how to have a safe breakfast - included in your room. The price was very reasonable. The bedding and pillows are just excellent - I would buy the pillows!!! Frankie was just so pleasant - customer service at it's finest.
I can't say enough about Frankie, the man who checked us in. I have a big family and we booked a standard room with just two queen beds. Times are tough and money is tight right now for me and my family. Frankie immediately upgraded us to a suite so that we would be more comfortable and at no extra charge. We wanted to use the pool since there aren't many things to do lately because of the covid. Pool area was so modern and clean. We had an amazing time and definately will be back again. Frankie even called us later in the evening to check on us and ask if we needed anything. Amazing customer service. Thank you Frankie, we will be back.
Very newly remodeled room, very spacious, comfortable all around. Great value. Will be back. Nice to have continental breakfast available. Very modern and well decorated. We use to stay there when it was Cape Point.
Not everything was renovated or at least thats what it looked like. My first room the door lock didn't work. Picked up the phone to call front desk, that didn't work either. Moved rooms. 2nd room had a hole in the wall where I believe a thermostat should have been. Heat/AC didn't work well. Chairs were upholstered and disgustingly stained. Very disappointed. Pool area very small and they no longer have the hot tub.
Super clean , pool was spotless and all areas of hotel completely clean! Rooms are good size and big enough for families highly recommend not to mention caring front desk staff . Comfy beds , clean rooms and nice bathrooms
Great hotel! Very comfortable bed with crisp, white sheets and pillows forever! Flawless cable and internet. Very modern shower as the hotel is only one year old. Iron and board present. Two beautiful, reasonable priced queen beds. Easy parking. Very inviting pool and breakfast area. (I cannot comment on the bar and restaurant as they were closed.) Cheerful, tasteful Christmas and room décor. Quite clean and great location right on Rt. 28 close to Hyannis, restaurants, beaches and clam shacks. Overall fun experience esp. great for families with kids. HOWEVER, The young girls at the front desk and in the breakfast area are rude beyond belief. They have small, wiseacre mouths out of which come the rudest, most disgusting comments. They are little vipers who, on 3 different stays, have treated me with disdain and contempt. I ask myself if it is because I am gay. Norbert luckily evens things out. He goes out of his way to make the guest's stay pleasant and comfortable. He displays a very positive attitude and goes the extra mile for his guests!
My fiancé & I stayed here after the chaos of Christmas shopping and cooking. We just wanted a night for ourselves to unwind and have peace and quiet. We had called before booking our stay to ensure there was availability and Frankie was the gentleman who was working the front desk. He booked our stay over the phone very quickly and when we arrived he was so hospitable and helped me with everything AND more. The rooms were very clean and the decor gave us the feeling of a beach get away(it was 30 degrees outside). We will be back!!
New rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly. The room was large and serviceable. But the walls were paper thin. I could hear all of the activities in the next room. All day and night. Some of the facilities (gym, indoor restaurant) were closed due to COVID. Good location on Route 28, near CVS and lots of restaurants.
The Best Western in West Yarmouth is a beautiful, almost brand new hotel. The lobby is very well laid out with an adjacent bar, restaurant and swimming pool. My room was a very pleasant surprise. Spacious and airy with tasteful décor in Cape Cod style. The bed was very comfortable and the TV screen was huge! Fridge in the room, large bathroom, more than enough towels. A very comfortable and pleasant place to stay. The staff; however, is a very different story. I had ordered food delivered and went to the front desk to ask for silverware. The woman, who rudely remained on the telephone, took out a plastic fork and spoon (no knife) and threw them onto the counter which, in normal times would not be terribly bad. However, in times of Corona, instead of placing them in a cup and handing them to me, the bitter woman threw them under the plexiglass at me with no respect, class or style. Although I did not let this crude interaction ruin my stay, it did mar it .
the clubs are closed but the hotel is open. huge parking lot party , and you can get high just walking the halls. dont expect much sleep, from the noise, or odor. during the day it looks to be a great hotel. but once the sun sets, beware.
Excellent curb appeal, immaculate lobby and indoor pool area. Every staff member I came in contact with was super friendly. Rooms were well appointed, clean, and spacious. Loved the walk in shower! Prime location. Would definitely return!
I stayed at the Aiden @ Cape Point with my children. I purposely chose this hotel due to it's proximity to local attractions and also that when I called the hotel I was told that both of their pools were open. When I arrived check in was a little delayed due to the fact that they were trying to assign my room but they were having computer issues. Once we were checked in my kids were excited to head down to the pool. When we got to the pool we discovered that it was CLOSED. Nothing was mentioned at check in and I was told that it had just closed that morning. Disappointed, but assured that it may be open the next day we moved on. Back in our room when we tried to turn the TV on we discovered the remote did not work because someone had removed one of the batteries. Not a big deal, but still took some time to rectify. The next morning after putting some items in our in-room refrigerator the night before, including medication, I discovered that our refrigerator had been unplugged. We had to throw out the food items we had in there. The pool did open up the next day, but it was very over chlorinated and there were large clumps of hair in the water, very gross. Most of the issues with this hotel are minor, but when put all together makes for a disappointing stay. Some improvements that could be made to the room would be the bathroom doors. The room we stayed in only had a barn door on the bathroom which did not leave much privacy since there was a large gap between the door and the wall. Also, we were only given 3 towels for 4 guests. And the dead-bolt on the door did not work. With some improvements to checking room details this hotel has potential.
We had an awesome time here. Rooms were immaculate and service was top notch! Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.Pool areas were very clean. They offer a fee continental breakfast every morning. They also have a lovely restaurant with ample food choices to fit everyone's needs. Very friendly and accommodating front desk personnel. Special thanks to Rita and Deidre.
Place is cleanish, staff is friendly, rooms are ok. That also ends the nice things to say. Second time we've stayed. First time was loud at night. Unruly kids not being managed by the staff on a holiday weekend. Had the sense they already had our money and didn't want to bother dealing with drunk kids. This time, just off season but would have thought it was the test trial weekend. Continental breakfast was a joke, cereal no milk, half a donut wrapped up, I mean not prison food, but just stop advertising it as a perk. I wouldn't have cared if I didn't see it. I reserved a king room, they didn't know when that would be available (some random excuse) and said I could have two queens now. Sprung it on me, I didn't want to wait, felt obligated to take it and I also wanted to relax. Outdoor pool advertised as open, closed the entire week, some issue. Indoor pool closed one day too, on a colder day. Some other issue. Mind you this place opened a year ago. Cherry on top was we came home from the beach and the water to my room was shut off. No restroom, no shower for a couple hours. Front desk had no idea, was gonna send someone up, no one showed. Water came back a few hours later. All these aren't life threatening issues, not the end of the world. Probably a little bit of first world issues. But for my first world vacations I won't be back to this hotel.
This motel is listed as a three-star property. I would not give it more than two stars right now, but it definitely has potential to be three stars with some attention to detail. To start, there is one woman at the front desk who is inept. I reserved a king room with a walk-in shower, and she gave me a room with a regular bath. When I went back to the front desk, she told me there were NO rooms with a walk-in. When I showed her my reservation, she finally gave it to her supervisor (Deirdre), who was great and gave me the room we had reserved. Later on in the stay, we called the front desk because the hand rail in the shower literally came off in our hands (a major safety hazard). She did not call someone to fix it for a full 24 hours until I called her again. It was expertly fixed by Brett, the property manager, who could not have been nicer. Other items: there is no closet, just three hooks in a corner of the room. The furniture was cheap, looked like it was assembled from a kit. The walls are paper-thin, and we were serenaded by the couple in the next room as they had vigorous sex for an hour after midnight one evening. The Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent. I couldn't get a signal in my room on multiple attempts, so I had to use my phone as a hotspot. The outdoor pool was very nice, and the pool bar attendant (Judy or Julie) was very attentive and friendly. This is a recently renovated property that can be a good value for a stay at the Cape. The rack rate of $288 during the summer is ridiculous, but you can usually find a discounted rate. We did not use the indoor pool or the cafe. The :free" breakfast was coffee/tea and a small wrapped muffin. Better to go out to one of the fantastic breakfast places nearby.
I would not stay at this hotel again. The front desk associates were rude and acted annoyed that approached the front desk for check in, etc. Our toilet would not flush, the room was dirty with hair in the bed and shower (good COVID cleaning measures!) The best thing I can say about this hotel was the prime location to everything.
Not much to recommend about this hotel. Arrived about 5 pm and told our room not yet available. So moved to a smaller room with one bed, same rate. Was on first floor and the upstairs room was noisy, floor creaked, probably inexpensive construction. Breakfast is certainly "modified" as they describe it - coffee or juice and a small muffin or yogurt. But can buy something warm for 9.25. No closet in rooms, only a small wall rack with a few hooks. No bed made or room cleaning service "due to covid". And the wifi was laughable - tough to connect and the speed was really slow, about 1-2 Mbps down and 0.4 Mbps up. Bring your own smartphone as a hotspot. Finally, the toilet paper holder had been pulled from the wall and lying on the bathroom floor; reported to front desk but never repaired during three day stay. How could housekeeping have OK'd this room before it was assigned to an arriving guest?
This hotel I was very surprised at. Walking distance to most things. My boyfriend and I had a difficult issue with our first hotel we booked and the lovely gentlemen at the counter helped us with a room for one night. It was quite comfortable and very clean. Awesome pillows and got to relax the rest of my stressful night here. Defintely would recommend.
The renovations to this hotel are very modern and practical. Room is a good size, bed comfortable and extra space is efficient. Bathroom door is a problem-doesn't close properly can see into the door by about two inches per side. No privacy provided. Hotel staff were terrible. What a major disappointment. Always a long line at the front desk. They did not know any information about the area or things to do. Had to ask several times for towels and items for the room. Hotel needs NEW and more towels. Always running out. No system in place for where or what to do with the trash or towels. Was leaving them outside of the door but that doesn't leave the hallway clean for others. Pool were very dirty. Hair everywhere. Someone needs to clean the pools with the high volume of people using them. More lounge chairs and umbrellas are needed for the outside pool area. Judy at the outside pool was wonderful and professional. The young lady working at the pool is lazy and not helpful. What is the purpose of having her if she isn't cleaning or helping with towels and chairs? Lastly the walls are as thin as paper. You can here everything from babies crying to people talking on their phones. The hotel really needs to invest in a sound barrier. Hotel can be a really nice place but needs stronger work to keep it clean and make guests feel like they are actually on vacation. Great restaurants close by.
We recently stayed at the Aiden and couldn't have been happier! The room was awesome...very clean with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when visiting the Cape.
An ok place. The lady at the bar did not wear a mask. There were no towels at the pool area. The outdoor pool was to open at 9, even at 11, it was still closed with no signs. Great location, clean rooms, but there was no wow
My boyfriend and I stayed here at the end of last year.. The staff treated us like royalty. the pool was clean and warm - very relaxing. the hotel looked like it had just been updated. The room was very spacious and clean.. We received a couple of breakfast vouchers upon check in.. we only had a breakfast sandwich when we checked out but it was very yummy- finally a place that actually cooks the bacon well done when you ask!! The people at the front desk where the nicest- I've stayed at a lot of hotels and have never been treated like this (in a good way)... I would 100% stay here again..
Everything was clean and comfortable, loved the decor of the room, with Sagamore Bridge on 1 wall. Extremely comfortable beds, Keurig and mini fridge in room was an added plus. Close to everything on Rte 28. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again when back on Cape.
First let me say most of the hotel staff was very pleasant. Online, the outside of the hotel itself looks great, clean and well kept. That was VERY DECEIVING. The website states it was renovated in 2019, it appeared clean and modern. The outside grounds were very inviting but once you walked past the front desk it was the opposite. All the lights in the bar/restaurant area constantly flickered, seemed like a wiring issue and all the tables were sticky. There was debris, garbage, and laundered towels out side of multiple rooms for the entire day and into the next day before housekeeping picked it up. The wallpaper in the room was peeling at every seam, there was an abundance of ants in our room, the bathroom sliding door did not stay on the track and had about an inch gap around the side and at the bottom so there was no privacy, and the worst part was the abundance of hair in the bed and the comforter was beyond disgusting. We took it off the bed completely. I am hoping it was stained and not unwashed bodily fluids as it appeared, not that it being stained would make it ok to be put back on a bed. Above everything the hair did me in. With how much we paid for this hotel, I am beyond disgusted. We did bring it to the clerks attention at check out and she did seem concerned and assured us she would look into it all. This is the second disappointing experience I've had with Best Western.
Our family recently spent 3 nights at the Aiden in Yarmouth MA Cape Cod We had two rooms. The hotel and our rooms were immaculate. The beds were super comfoTHE Theb indoor and outdoor pools were clean and well kept. Parkingnlot is well lit with plenty of spaces The hotel has a cool lounge with delicious drinks and an attentive staff. The staff overall was friendly welcoming. Brett gave us terrific restaurant recommendations and Scott brought us extra towels and was a gem. The breakfast lady was so sweet and the hotel provided an awesome free continental breakfast. I highly suggest you try this cool new hotel. Close to everything too!!
We had a really great stay here. It's all new, stylish decor and over and above anything else in that area and on Route 28. Love how the rooms are decorated and uplit and the pool is brand new and clean too. We only ate breakfast there but the food was tasty and priced very fairly. The staff friendly and professional all around. If you are looking for classy "cut above" the usual hotel experience in this area I highly recommend the Aiden. The price was very reasonable given how much nicer it is than the other hotels on that strip
we stayed two nights over July 4 weekend, and though it was very busy we experienced great service. The room was very clean, the common areas were clean as well, the breakfast was convenient and the options excellent. The decor is very modern and classy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to stay again!
My family and I had a great stay. This hotel is tastefully updated, with a modern boutique take. This is the nicest hotel in the area. The rooms are clean and very functional. All guests and staff followed the COVID-19 safety guidelines and we felt safe throughout our stay. The entire staff on the property was very responsive and friendly. Close to the best beaches in Cape Cod. Seagull Beach is minutes from the property. But our favorite is the Mayflower Beach because of the shallow waters and small tides, which make it great for families with younger kids. The hotel has good food available onsite but also is close to the top restaurants in cape. Some of the top attraction such as Whydah Pirate Museum and Cape cod Inflatable park is a stone throw away from the hotel. We look forward to our next visit.
Besides the food left over in the room that had ants crawling across my carpet, come to discover our hotel room door never closed for two nights with a fully booked hotel. After a long day with young children and elderly, I was sure to think I was crazy because I was putting the deadbolt on that the door to my hotel room but it never actually locked. The extra security bar didn't even have a bar on it!! I addressed this issue the next day with staff (and the ants) and it was supposed to get taken of. Come to find out, after another long day of Cape fun, the door still never closed and locked even though I was promised that maintenance will take care of the problem and I can trust them. The overnight front desk employee is COMPLETELY incapable of customer service and had no care that my sleeping children and elderly mother and myself felt unprotected. As a mother, this is horrifying. Besides waving his finger in my face, it took every ounce in me to refrain from cursing him out and making a scene. I could have used other choice words, decided to say "Dude, show some concern here" to where he yelled and berated me to never call him dude. Wouldn't lift a finger to help with carrying an oversized chair for me to lean against the door, had his "mask" flapping around his face... "All I have is a screwdriver. Take it up with the GM when he comes in at 6am." Like I said despicable. The hotel looks promising. During COVID where signs are everywhere to wear a mask, majority of the staff had been wearing it around their ear and neck but not actually on. The cleanliness and choice of staff is to be desired. There is only one woman who was a gem there, Elizabeth, but unfortunately the rest of the experience ruined our stay. I hope that the GM has taken out the trash.
Again, exceptional service. Restaurant offer a decent menu variety. Rooms are lovely, prints on the walls gorgeous. Cabana by outdoor pool was not open, but expected to open this weekend after I left. Indoor pool and breakfast room really nice. I many times stay at another hotel down the street, but this boutique hotel was actually more favorably priced, surprisingly. All former food service personel, who I clearly liked have been let go and replaced with contracted help.
This hotel is well located and staff is friendly. It is modern and has a pool in the back. Unfortunately, the internet connection was poor and breakfast did not include any fruits or yogurt...just coffee and some starch. The lobby was dirty from the night before. There were dirty glasses and dishes, sticky tables and dirty carpets. Because this was during COVID we had no in-room cleaning service and out of 6 nights they changed our towels once. They never came in to clean the rooms. People would be putting their garbage and dirty towels outside their doors in the hallway....OMG that was so terrible in addition to being unhygienic. very disappointing.
Best hotel in the area.Nice rooms and clean. Family perfect stay.Nice facilities pool, restaurant, bar. Close to CVS, dunkin donuts and dollar store.5 min from the closest beach and also to seagull beach. Highly recommend
My wife and I stayed at the Cape Point Inn years ago and booked a weekend away with the kids during February vacation just to get away. The property was clean and a welcome getaway. Great value. We were happy with out stay and would recommend it to any other families or couples looking for a value getaway on a budget.
Nice rooms, great front desk staff. Night Auditor David was very friendly and nice. Excellent restaurant. Friendly staff especially overnight staff helped us with finding a place that serves food. Very knowledgeable.
The hotel was nice enough, and updated. However, the internet did not work at all. Kept saying “move closer to router” and would disconnect us constantly. The shower took 7 minutes to get to a temp that was tolerable, never got hot. A back door of the hotel was swinging open and banging all night long ( windy night) and finally around 4AM my husband went and put duct tape on it to keep it closed. Pool temp was great but pool room itself was cold. Front desk charged $5 for a min hand sanitizer and specially laughed as he told me it used to be $3 and was told to now charge $5 because of the corona virus .. real nice. Other than all these headaches, the stay was okay. We frequent the cape multiple times a year and would probably come back after they fix the internet/ hot water and broken door.
Hotel was very clean, like new. Staff was excellent. Everything you need on site. Will definitely be back with grandkids this summer. Many things to do during summer time. Relax by one of the two pools after a day out.
Easy to get to, nice and clean. Staff was excellent. Pool was warm and the area was clean and well lit. The staff was very helpful and the "shop" in the lobby was well stocked. Don't know if they had 24 hour coffee/tea but that would be helpful if possible.
The old Cape Point Inn had a pool area we loved to use during February vacation with the kids not so much the new Aiden by Best Western. The lobby and restaurant area are very nice and trendy but they stole the space from the pool area. Also the pool and enclosure were way too cold. 84 is optimum pool temp on a warm sunny summer day not a cold winter day in February! The 2 queen bedroom was comfortable and trendy but small without a closet only hooks to hang coats.
This is the best place ever in west yarmouth. Nice and clean rooms. nice inside pool. Nice inside gym. Friendly and lovely people. delicious breakfast. and they treat you like a king at the front desk.
Very nice renovations to the hotel since my last visit.. The hotel is still under construction, mostly on the back end near the outside pool. The indoor pool was cut in haft the space of the old. I see a problem in the making when it is bury like during school vacation week.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff made us feel like we were at our own home. The hotel is VERY clean and has fabulous amenities. The pool and the bar/restaurant and cafe are top shelf and serve all the local beers and has great coffee. The front desk staff, engineer (Brett) the cleaning crew, General Manager and Sales Director always went out of their way to make sure we had everything and if we needed anything just give them a call. All of the employees cared SO much about our stay it was like they owned the hotel. The engineer, Brett, even set up the conference room with a big screen tv and had movies for our team at night. Then during the day, they made the conference room into floor hockey rink for all the kids to play. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay down the Cape. You will not be disappointed.
The staff at the Aiden went out of there way to make our weekend especially fun and memorable. We were there for a hockey tournament. The Aiden gave our kids a conference room to play in which allowed our kids to play and have fun while not bothering the other guests. The rooms were clean, the pool was really nice and the cafe was delicious. We will definitely stay here again.
Exceptionally clean rooms and common areas. Modern mid-range decor. Excellent rates and convenient mid-cape location. Friendly and welcoming staff. This Best Western does not offer a free breakfast---but does have an affordable coffee bar with pastry.
Stayed here on the evening of 12/31 for one night with my family of four. The price was more than resonalble and the hotel itself received a makeover and was modern both in and out. The problem was the front desk receptionist Didrea (may not be the corrrect spelling of her name but is close enough) who was extremely rude from the beginning and made the check in process very uneasy on both myself and my family. So from the start it was not a pleasant experience. The young woman has a serious attitude problem and should not be working in customer service. Not friendly at all. I've been staying at the Cove at Yarmouth down the street for over ten years and wanted to try something new, it turned out to be a big mistake. I will not be staying at this location ever again. Consider your options first.
We had a wonderful time. I wouldn't change anything. We traveled with people from 18 to 74 and everyone had a great time. The staff and the hotel full filled all our requirements. Always with a smile and a how can we help you.
David, Frankie, and zoey were so amazing from everything to check in to check out. Anybody who has written a bad review here, I guess nothing will make them happy. They have done a beautiful job renovating, the beds are comfy, it's very clean, and they have a pretty good selection for late night foods and at the restaurant and the cafe. Thanks so much for our stay , I wish we could have stayed longer but we will definitely be back ! Thank you! Jess and melissa
I have a fair review back in the summer but in all fairness they had just opened and what a transformation ! The staff could not do enough for you the accommodations are clean pristine, pillows are so comfortable highly unusual for hotels and their gym is probably top-five Frankie at the front desk is just a sweetheart you can tell that he truly loves his job I would highly recommend it
We decided to try this newly renovated facility. As expected it was very clean and fresh throughout. We had a standard room with a king size bed. The room was small but very nice. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was very spacious. One of the reasons we chose this place was the indoor pool. The pool area was very nice, clean and well kept. The water was warm and clear. Overall we had a great stay!
If you would like to save yourself the aggravation of no hot water, a pool that is never open, a night manager who questions your need for a new key when yours won't open the room, request for express statement that never happens, overbilling and a lack of communication, then avoid this hotel. The room service is fine and rooms are great if you like shivering from a cold shower.
We were very excited to hear that the old Cape Point Hotel was remodeled and opening as a new hotel. The person I spoke to on the phone (Ryan maybe?) was very helpful in describing what had been done to the property and we couldn't wait to get down to the Cape. What a disappointment. The girl as the desk was very nice and we got our keys and drove down to the side entrance. It was locked and our keys didn't work. We drove back to the desk and ended up just walking down the long hallway to our room. We unloaded our luggage and went to hang up our clothes but there was no place to hang them? A bunch of hangers in the drawer but no hooks. Not a huge deal but why have hangers? We walked around the hotel and looked at the cafe and bar (restaurant wasn't open yet). They did a nice job on the pool although it's a little smaller than the old Cape Point and they don't have the hot tub anymore. We drove down the street and had a drink at Red Face Jacks since the bar wasn't open yet and came back to the hotel to take a shower and change. No hot water. None. Not even warm. Called the desk and they told me they were working on the issue and that we should run the water in the shower and the sink until it got hot. We ran it for over 20 minutes. Same problem in the morning the next day and then the day of check out. To add insult to injury we were overcharged on our credit card We won't be returning
This is a recently remodeled property, very modern and beautiful. The bed was extremely comfortable, the pillows were fluffy and not too soft, and the room was large. The only drawback was the lack of a closet in the room - there were three hooks to hang our clothes, including our coats. We stayed here on Thanksgiving night, and had a suit jacket to hang up as well as winter coats. The winter coats ended up over the backs of the chairs, but that's minor in the grand scheme of things.
Stayed here as a couple in Sept 2019. Great Hotel for price. Nice indoor pool. Would definitely return again. Close to a lot of restaurants as well and biking areas, Beaches and Ferry if you want to travel to MV or Nantucket.
I have had two one night stays here over the past month. When I do a short stay, I look for a good price, clean room with a comfortable bed and a good hot shower in the morning. Aiden is a Best Western that has been renovated to a boutique style hotel. The decor is Cape Cod themed with a kind of Ikea modern twist. The rooms on each stay were very clean with comfortable beds. The furnishings are modern and a little minimal, but perfectly functional. Amenities included in room mini fridge, safe, hair dryer and coffee maker. I did like the track door on the bathroom and the fact that the walk in shower had a real glass sliding door instead of a curtain, to keep the water in the shower and not all over the floor. The drawback was that the shower itself had very poor water pressure and temperature. On both stays, the pressure was weak to the point of trickle and the temp went from lukewarm to cold very quickly. I did not eat at the restaraunt, but the first time I stayed, I wanted a drink before retiring, only to find the bar closed at 10 pm, which I thought was a bit early. The next time I stayed, I went down the road for some dinner, music and drinks at a pub instead of hanging at the hotel. So, while the price was good, I'm not positive I would do an overnight stay here again. There are plenty of resorts in the area that have offseason rates and a few more onsite options.
brand new hotel - obviously a new chain from Best Western. Good location - great rooms - liked the interiour design BUT .... why is there a fridge next to the bed ??? and why was there no chair in the room. The room is soo huge and we had to sit on our beds (which are high and even we are tall people we had problems) to put on our shoes. Positive - because we didnt had regular coffee pads for the coffee machine in the roome we got 2 cups of free coffee Negative - to charge for coffee is not right when all the other chains + motels/hotels give it out for free. The NO breakfast is another thing - if you are used to BW you would think you get breakfast included What you could improve is with a nightlight in the bathroom, a not so bright alarmclock, more TV channels (or a Netfix button) and some really hard pillows. Also I think its time to rethink all the little bottles in the bathroom - its a waste (specially soaps) and you should think more eco in this way.
We reserved rooms for guests for my sons wedding and the restaurant on site was perfect for the rehearsal luncheon. The team was very accommodating and our guests had a great time. Frankie at the front desk was very accommodating for any of our requests.
This cute hotel is very bright and clean. The hotel has a new addition with rooms that are nicely decorated. It is close to beaches and restaurants and the staff are friendly and great to deal with. We will be back again!
The Aiden hotel is newly renovated, with updated rooms and amenities. Upon arriving, I was greeted by a warm smile from the woman at the front desk. She was beyond kind and helpful when checking me into my room. The room was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the inclusive breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend, 10/10!
My family and I stayed at this hotel in August, 2019 Just after they opened!! The hotel still had that “new” smell!! The entire hotel was so lovely!! Decorated so tastefully and modern! The front desk staff were all friendly and courteous as well!! The rooms are beautiful and the beds are super comfy! I wished we had booked for two nights instead of one!! This hotel has complimentary parking, and is close to quite a few beaches, restaurants and shops!! I would definitely stay here again!! Loved it!!
This hotel has been renovated and looks good on surface but needs deep cleaning after work as there's grout and painting spots. Room is very sparsely furnished, needs more comfortable furniture. No closet, only a few hangers and rack. Bed firm pillows hard lumps, can't smooth down. Good shower. Asked for 2nd floor at reservation and upon check-in but turned down despite a not busy hotel. 1 small hook right by shower so can get things wet. Shower curtain not long enough to keep water off floor. Bathroom door doesn't fit tight, there's a gap. Glass panels let light in room at night. Large hotel, very long hallways if walking is an issue.
I came to this hotel with my daughter for a soccer tournament.i must say the cafe was a great perk.sunday the line at the cafe was quit long but i was impressed by the way the two ladys moved the line in fashionably manner. When i came to the registar barbara was still very pleasant. The two of these ladys were great.
The hotel is modern and lobby is awesome. It has a bar and coffee shop onsite. The pool is nice as well. The rooms are spacious and the design is light and airy. We stayed with four to a room and did not feel crowed. The bathrooms are new and beds comfortable. I will definitely stay again!
Nice accomodations for a stay on Cape Cod. Central location near to dining, shopping, and a short distance from the ocean. Recently updated interior. A cafe on-site that offered a nice breakfast at a reasonable price. Friendly staff at the front desk, and cafe. I usually visit Cape Cod in the summer, but have found Autumn to be a beautiful time on the Cape as well.
I stayed here for a few nights during a visit to Cape Cod this past summer. I enjoyed the small attention to detail throughout, the cafe and the wonderful staff there. My experience with Barbara in the cafe left me feeling like I had to write a review. She was very warm and inviting during my stay while I worked from my laptop there and left me feeling with a supreme sense of customer service and satisfaction. Aiden is lucky to have her and the other staff members I had the pleasure of interacting with. You won't regret your stay here!
We went on a family trip to Cape Cod and stayed at Aiden by Best Western. It was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in a long time. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the lobby was very welcoming.
We had a wonderful time at Aiden by Best Western @ Cape Point! We were there for a few days...my family along with my mother and we had a great time... The Manager Frankie was incredible and really took care of us! He made sure we were had everything we needed...he was very accomodating...he made us feel like we were special valued customers... And the hotel is all renovated and beautiful! We'll definitely stay there again! Fabulous time!! made surehe renovations to the hotel are so beautiful!
From check in to check out no problems what so ever. My hat and 2 thumbs up go out to Claudia, she funny, personable and really made us feel at home...Great choice that she is the Front end person who checked us in. The pools great. The rooms are perfect and the pillow top bed is awesome.
Barbara was very friendly and attentive.she was always so uplifting in the early morning hours. A beautiful way to start the day. The cafe is an amazing little perk to the establishment. We will return.
The women in the cafe are AMAZING ( Brenda & Ruth ) They make you feel at home. They go out their way to accommodate you ♥️. Their absolutely amazing ‼️ They are by far the friendliest people I've met out here on my vacation ♥️
Cape Point has had a total redo, as an Aiden boutique brand of Best Western. Completely modernized rooms, lobby, bar, pool, and wonderful service. The desk staff and bartender were delightful. The beds were very comfortable, and everything was great.
Great stay at this newly remodeled hotel at the cape. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. I loved the on site cafe food was great and staff couldn't do enough for us. Would recommend this place to anyone as I am certain we will be back.
From the time I walked in the door till I left, the customer service was superior. Upon my arrival, the Manager Brian greeted me and remembered my name from phone calls and texts prior to their opening. I was able to check in a little bit early, but was prepared to just hang out. The lobby is absolutely stunning with a bar and dining area with very modern decor. Next to the front desk is a mini-store with many items. The front desk staff are very helpful and take their time with you, not rushed at all. There is also a breakfast/coffee shop off the lobby which is open until 4 pm when the restaurant opens. Had a coffee and breakfast sandwich. Their staff was very welcoming and friendly. I got acquainted with the bartender, Alexis, and she makes great drinks. She is an expert in taking care of her patrons. When faced with being both the bartender and waitress one night, she handled it with style. A real firecracker and asset to the hotel. The dinner menu is wonderful, and I really enjoyed my dinner of steak tips, sweet potatoes and a confetti couscous with mini diced vegetables. It was all delicious. One customer asked if he could order an off menu choice - a grilled cheese for his child. The chef that night (not the usual one) did not know what it was. Alexis explained, but then scooted to the breakfast restaurant to get the fixings, and went into the kitchen and cooked it herself. She really knows how to please her customers. Here, everything is cooked from scratch.
Everything about our weekend stay at the new Aiden by Best Western @ Cape Point was wonderful - from our warm welcome from Claudia at the front desk, to attentive service in the bar/dining room from Alexis and two absolutely delicious dinners made by Chef Kendra. The ambiance is inviting and convivial, the pool was relaxing and fun, our room was stylish and comfortable. I'd highly recommend a stay in this well-appointed, well-located new establishment.
Great place to stay. Clean, staff very helpful. Location convenient to restaurants and 5 minutes to Hyannis. Good restaurants nearby. Stay in the upstairs units as there was some noise from people walking down the stairs over our room. Otherwise, no complaints!!
Stayed at this property over the past weekend. Lovely renovated hotel. Rooms were large, pool area great. Didn't eat at the restaurant or have a drink at the bar but nice setup. Employees all friendly. Very quiet. Was happy with the stay overall and would stay again however there were a few disappointments. Not enough to dampen the weekend however, I booked a king suite and was given a room with 2 queens. There is no fridge in the room so don't plan on saving leftovers, no lock on bathroom door which doesn't quite close tight as it is a sliding bard type door, room door doesn't close on its on so check it when you are leaving, no hairdryer and shower water was only lukewarm. Also found it odd that the window sliders were fully operational, no safeguard here for children. Overall nice stay despite those few minor negatives.
We stayed here for a Saturday night stay. The check-in was fast and Claudia was very helpful getting us oriented in the hotel and recommend area beaches, etc. The room was very clean and the beds and bedding very comfortable. Our room was on the second floor thus no issues with hearing people above us. The room only had a shower which I actually prefer, but the water pressure could have been a bit better. The kids enjoyed the pool and the small gym. Although recommend the hotel, would not recommend Aiden's Kitchen unless you really don't want to leave but stay-in. Food was okay, but not great (i.e. hummus platter had veggies that passed their prime a few days prior). Note: The control for the AC/heat is on the wall. The controls on the unit itself do not work. Recommendation: Become a Best Western Rewards member and book directly with them (online / by phone). Our room was about $20 less per night booking this way than if we had booked through a hotel search site.
We had an awesome check in staff (Claudia) who helped us thru the Hurricane Dorian weekend. Had a small issue with our room thermostat and shower and she quickly relocated us to another room. Offered advice on places to visit and restaurants, which were all excellent. she even let my husband eat half of the candy dish at the front desk lol. Brand new facility, excellent value , will stay here again.
We visited Aiden Best Western Hotel on our recent visit to Cape Cod. The hotel was recently renovated (July 2019). The rooms we stayed in were completely redone. We were impressed in the decor. The place was very clean. All the furniture was new both in the rooms and main areas. The staff was very attentive to our needs. The price was very reasonable. If we are in that area again, we would definitely consider staying there.
A beautiful, clean, bright hotel where the staff is friendly, the sheets and rooms are clean, and you feel that you're in an upscale place! After we had problems at another local hotel, we came here and met with the manager, Ryan, who was understanding, accommodating and helped us to really start our vacation over on a great note. Though no breakfast is included, the cafe there looks like a Starbucks and has breakfast items. My kids LOVED swimming in the pool which was open till 10 pm or 11 pm depending on the night. I used the fitness room - there are a few weights, 2 treadmills, bike, elliptical. Our friend ordered drinks from the bar/restaurant. A nice touch were little games in the lobby to sit and play - Checkers/Chess. Definitely recommend!
Everything was exceptional from the moment we arrived! The staff couldn't have been more warmer or more helpful, they were truly accommodating to all of our requests. The rooms were gorgeous and the beds so comfortable, you hate to get up in the morning. We loved the restaurant, we tried many of the items. Chef Kendra did an amazing job with the menu. Clam chowder was excellent! We look forward to future visits!
We stayed at the Aiden the night before we caught the ferry to Nantucket. This is a new hotel, opened in July. The rooms were clean, trendy and brand new. The bar was accomodating and they gave us free apps to try. The apps were great. Very fresh and tasty. There is an indoor pool and the outdoor pool is in the works. We didn't go to the beach but it is within walking distance.
BEAUTIFUL HOTEL BUT... Our family stayed at this hotel over another because of the new renovations and wanted to try somewhere new. When we arrived we noticed the place was very clean and modern however there were a few things that we were very disappointed in during our stay. We were told ahead of time there was no outdoor pool but the indoor was up and running. That did not work out for us - the indoor pool was closed 3 out of the 4 days we were there and I got 2 different stories on why. The electrical outlet by the sink was not functioning which they knew about ahead of time but still gave us the room. The room was not cleaned one of the days and the WiFi in the hotel room itself was nonexistent. I had to sit in the lobby to receive a connection so I could complete some work that I needed to get done. Also, they need to figure out something with the bathroom door. Beautiful barn door style door but no way to lock it for privacy. Overall, a very nice, clean and friendly hotel but I felt very disappointed in those things especially the pool not being available for our kids.
We had been in the cape on a family vacation for several days but were looking to extend for one night for a quiet evening just the two of us before heading home. We found this hotel online and it was a little pricey but fairly reasonable compared to some other places in the area!!! We arrived at 3pm for check in and were thrilled with how beautiful and calming the hotel looked. Perfect for our relaxing night! At check in there was some confusion about the room we had booked and it initially looked like we might need to have a queen bed instead of the king we booked. However they told us if we were willing to wait a few minutes they could get a king room ready. Perfect! We got to the room and it was clean and comfortable. The barn door on the bathroom that some other people mentioned was a little odd but whatever. We had been hoping to go in the outdoor pool but hadn't read the website closely to realize it was closed. We went to the indoor pool instead and enjoyed it very much! Would have loved a hot tub too but oh well. Plenty of restaurants and entertainment right nearby. Had a great evening w dinner @ diparma and a round of mini golf nearby. The little store in the lobby was great for some snacks! Had an excellent night sleep and woke up refreshed and ready to go home! Highly recommend.
Planning our annual quick-hitting mini-vaca to the Cape, I definitely was up against it knowing that our go-to place to stay was in the process of being refurbished/renovated/demolished/rebuilt - take your pick....the Fam can get somewhat prickly if things don't perfectly fall into place, so I kept the lack of a place to stay at night on the DL - as I sweated out searching on TripAdvisor for other motels.... Then, out of the fog and darkness of the internet, the somewhat-wordy reference to an Aiden by Best Western at Cape Point appeared.... could it be the return of our favorite place to stay? This, in fact, was the return of the Cape Point - still very reasonably priced - always a plus with my wife...just with that new motel smell... strip lighting and photo-image wallpaper of the Sagamore Bridge...talk about getting the Fam all fired-up about the Cape.... the mattresses were fabulous - nice and firm.... we have been staying here since my daughters were young, so even they noticed all the changes -cleaner, fresher, brighter, everything new... air condition was so much better - setting temperature was not complex and the fact that it ran so quiet.... The motel is a great place, but we didn't spend too much there...just to put our heads down at night.. the place was quiet at night - the indoor and outdoor swimming pools were closed ... that would have been a problem when the girls were younger, but this year it was a minor hiccup...also, we got a wake up call at 7AM which we didn't request...very minor things... We had a fabulous three days on the Cape...Seagull Beach- thanks to prior reviewer's comment, White Crest Beach, old graveyards, the Lobster Boat, Arnold's Lobster and Clam Bar, Mayflower Beach, Lil Caboose Ice Cream, wifey hit for 500 on a scratch ticket at Citgo in Sandwich... yeah, the normally finicky Fam was again warm and fuzzy after our annual Cape Cod trek.... Aiden by Best Western at Cape Point provided a terrific base camp for our memorable trip...we will be back!
Really enjoyed everything about our stay. The outdoor pool was still closed (being refurbished) but I was aware of that when I booked. The indoor pool is fantastic. Nice clean area, well heated but not too warm. Bathroom and shower facilities right there, and you can walk from your room to the pool without having to go outdoors. The room itself was freshly refurbished as well. Beds were really comfy and the AC worked great. There is a barn door for the bathroom which looks great, but does prohibit privacy a bit, thankfully a bathroom in the lobby was available for a bit more privacy. Refrigerators weren't installed in the rooms yet. We had a medicine for our daughter that needed to be kept cool. They kept it at the front desk in a fridge for us, when I went to get it, they told me the refrigerators had just been delivered and brought a brand new one immediately to our room, fantastic customer service. We had a breakfast at the little cafe and it was a big step up from Dunkin Donuts (which is right next door BTW). We also had an early dinner at Aiden's Table (restaurant in the lobby) and Kendra made us some fantastic food. If you like bacon try the chowder, it's to die for. My biggest fear is that this place is so nice compared to the motels nearby it might be too expensive for us on our next visit. It's such a nice upgrade over the motels though in every way. Really made a relaxing, wonderful trip to the cape. BTW, seagull beach is appx 1 mile away, short trip....and lots of great food nearby.
The Best Western in W. Yarmouth was just re-done. It is beyond clean and very modern now. The restaurant was not very good but the staff there was beyond nice. The pool area was clean and the shower by the pool were great to rinse off in. The rooms were clean but without refrigerators but we were told the rooms will be getting them. We loved staying there and will do it again. It just re-opened so they are ironing out things but all in all I would suggest anyone staying there. It was really nice, really clean, reasonable priced and staff was awesome.
Room is beautiful and clean. So far, there are numerous issues that I am surprised to see at a newly renovated hotel. First. There is no closet! Coming for 5 days with 3 people and only an area with a few hooks that hit up against an ironing board. I am attaching photos. Also, the BIG issue is the bathroom door! It slides closed. No lock. AND IT IS NOT PRIVATE! There is a gap of about one inch where you can see out and anyone can see in! See pictures. I read this in an earlier post and figured it was a one room issue. NOPE! It's a design problem. Unacceptable! Last, the hotel is long and the key to get in from outside is out of order? So we walk! It didn't help that first our keys didn't work. Then they gave someone else our room keys so we had a stranger walk in. Then we came back at night and once again our keys didn't work. It's only the first day! I will edit this post if more stuff happens that needs to be mentioned.
I truly hope the Aiden concept takes off and continues to grow The rooms were spacious and clean and the bar and lounge area downstairs was huge Needs more atmosphere and decor but-that will come with time Also the bar area could be open until at least 11! A wonderful stay
Glad I booked here for an unexpected family getaway at Cape Cod. Very nice, clean and comfy room although we're expecting a fridge in the room (per website amenities) but unfortunately there's none and it's ok because we only stayed overnight. The indoor pool is clean and new. The lobby is modernized. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Only few minutes drive to Seagull beach and very close to Cape Cod Inflatable Waterpark. Will definitely stay here again in the future!
Spent a couple days with friends over last weekend, every staff person we met was so friendly and cordial. We spent a couple hours knitting in the comfortable lobby and felt right at home. The staff interacted with us and made us feel like family. Truly a great place to stay, clean rooms, restaurant, cafe, free WiFi, indoor and soon to have outdoor pool. We hated to leave LOL. We certainly will return in the near future. Hope everyone is ok after yesterday's tornado. Please give kudos to your staff
My dearest friends joined me for the 10th Anniversary of my nephews death in Yarmouth MA. The staff at Aiden by Best Western were truly undeniably amazing! So friendly, cordial, and always smiled which helped us feel so welcomed. We will be booking a knitting weekend this Fall and will totally be staying here. This brand new hotel is beautiful! Be sure to book soon!
I can't even put into words from the moment we stepped in to the goodbyes, it was a dream. I've stayed at many hotels in my life and this is in my top two. Our room was so comfy it was hard to get up each morning. We even stayed an extra night on our vacation! It's the old Cape Point Hotel now sold and totally refurbished by the Best Western group. A five star hotel and a five star staff with a great bar to get a drink and delicious food. We had most of the apps over the few days and some of the best food I have ever tasted. The ladies behind the bar were the nicest around. For those of you skeptic to try, it is without a doubt the best hotel there hands down. Try it, you'll like it. And all those smiles and acknowledgments, make you feel so special. See you soon my friends!
My family and I were so excited to try out this hotel. We came up to the cape on Saturday the 13th and just by chance drove by and saw the open flags and thought we would check it out. When I walked in and saw the lobby!! I was in shock!! It is something unlike anything else on the cape. It's gigantic, super trendy, clean with two restaurants and a bar all in the lobby. My kids jaws dropped to the floor and begged us to stay here. Check in was awesome, Frankie the front desk agent told us that they were sold out for the night. Needless to say we all got a look of disappointment on our faces. Just as we were leaving he stopped us and said to give him a minute. He dashed around the corner and finally came back with great news. He somehow managed to open up a room for us. The room was so chic and fun with two queen beds and a pull out sofa! My husband needed to iron some things but we couldn't find one, so we called down to the desk late that night and they said it would be right up. 1 minute later Frankie brought us everything we needed and even a sowing kit. Highly recommend. Amazing service.
Our stay was remarkable! Everyone was so pleasant. Everything is brand new and wonderful. I had to hop on my laptop to get some work done and there was high speed internet (plus if you work remotely). They even have a cafe and bar! My cousin also stayed at the same hotel but unfortunately her husband was sick the second they checked in.. She couldn't stay another night because they brought him to the ER. The management team were very understanding that they refunded her money back for the days that she had reserved. Such great people! Def. coming back. I have been going to the cape point (Aiden by Best Western) since i was 4 years old.. I LOVE what they have done to it! If you love the cape go stay there! Very modern <3
Nicely updated hotel though my room came with a lot of different type of bugs. Stink bugs, moths, spiders, and beetles. Check your bed before you go to sleep we found a bug right under the pillows about 5 minutes ago which prompted me to write this review.
This is a new hotel and the staff couldn't be nicer!!! It is beautifully decorated and the rooms are super nice and extremely clean!!! Don't bother looking at other places.... book this - you won't be disappointed!!!
Great staff. The restaurant is not a typical Cape eatery. The food is really well thought out and flavorful. Infused with layers. I can appreciate that. General Manger in the lobby greeting guests was a nice touch. Room is new and comfortable. Nicely done! Cafe with real deal espresso maker made mornings in Yarmouth even better! Really warm staff. We loved it here and can't wait to return.
