Best Western Heritage Inn

A strong odor of mold greeted us upon entering the room, especially in the bathroom. The plastic baseboards were coming off. The bathroom exhaust fan was out-dated and rusty. The main entry door was very hard to open. A grandma would never had gotten in or out. Luckily we stayed only one night.

Great place ! Fast Eddie at checkin was very friendly and efficient. The king suite was spacey, everything worked and the shower had the highest water pressure ever. Brekast was great, other staff friendly and everything was very clean. A great price and location.

This week is my third week staying at this hotel in the last two months. My room was spotless. Monse who works the front desk goes above and beyond to ensure my stay goes well. The hotel is clean. It is quiet in the evenings which I have had issues with at other hotels. The breakfast that is included is amazing. Carla even offers to make guests mocha's. I highly recommend you give them a try. The price is great and this hotel is close to Kaiser, North Bay Medical, many restaurants and the outlet stores.

I was helped by Edward, he was great! The rooms were also clean and breakfast was good. I would definitely come back. I travel for work and go to a lot of different best westerns this one is at the top of my list!

Perfect place to stay when visitng our beautiful Redwoods. Exceptionally kept rooms & property, year round pool and hottub, well stocked and rounded breakfast options, ALL staff are friendly, helpful and kind!

Our stay at this hotel was overshadowed by a grave safety concern, resulting in significant discomfort throughout our visit. To our dismay, we found ourselves unexpectedly LOCKED within our room. We promptly informed the manager of this distressing situation, only to be informed that maintenance wouldn't be available until the following morning. Strangely, the option of relocating to another room wasn't extended to us; instead, a meager $20 compensation was offered. Consequently, we were left with no choice but to spend the night locked in our room, plagued by concerns about potential emergencies like fires or medical issues, as well as a general unease at the idea of being unable to leave our room at will. We remained LOCKED in our room until the manager finally arrived to unlock our door the next morning, during breakfast. This experience left us feeling unsafe, anxious, and helpless, and we were thoroughly dissatisfied with the hotel's response to our predicament, which should have been handled with greater urgency and a more compassionate compensation.

This establishment is in a dire need of renovating. Rooms are very run down, felt dirty, door wouldn't seal and since it was right next to the freeway, it was very noisy. I didn't observe any bugs, so that was a good thing. The front desk clerk was friendly, but I definitely didn't feel I was in a safe location, although the clerk assured us we were since it was near the outlet stores and row of restaurants.

I travel a lot troughout the year and generally stay in Best Westerns, Holiday Inns and Comfort Suites because they are generally dependable brand bnames. I drove up at night to caution tape across the breezeway, had to do two u-turns in heavy nighttime traffic on a four lane highway to get into the hotel parking. I pulled into to see old mattresses and other large junk dumped in an open area adjacent to the garbage dumpster. People were lounging on balconies, there appears to be a homeless encampment with loaded shopping carts in a closed business next door and the dog exercise area is next to a busy highway/sidewalk. The door frame looked as if it had been previously broken and the deadbolt would not work. The window lock was off when I arrived and the screen looked as if it had been tampered with and was bent. The air conditioner had no medium setting so it was either too cold or too stuffy. There was what appeared to be old food on the floor in the corners. The folks above me were up all night and sitting like zombies in hoodies on the stairs when I went out to walk my dogs at 5::30 in the morning. I was startled while at the pet area in the early morning by a man riding by on a bike caring a bag full of pop cans. In addition, there appeared to be drug paraphenalia outside the back door of the office by the pet area. When I went in to check out early, I inadvertently overheard a conversation about police having to be called the evening before to remove a homeless man from the property. On a bright note, the staff are phenomenal, the bedding was clean, pillows were comfortable, the towells were nice and there was a great breakfast offered! However, if safety is priority to you then you might want to avoid this hotel! I stayed for less than seven hours! I am not a hotel snob and I checked out early to go stay at a Motel 6 as my normal Best Western in the area was full this weekend?

Excellent customer service. Both office personnel helped us with a few minor issues when we arrived. Very caring staff. Room was very clean and roomy and other guests were quiet in the evening and morning.

We came to Vacaville to attend a family funeral. The Best Western was nearby and close to shopping and places to eat. The staff was helpful and friendly and went out of their way to take care of us. The rooms were clean, but the hotel is older and dated - could definitely use some updating. Honestly I would stay there again just because the staff was so great. The pool was clean and fresh towels are available poolside. Pleasant stay.

We needed a place to stay when our car started having mechanical issues on our road trip. This hotel let us check in early with our dogs, which was super helpful. We enjoyed the pool and the rooms were overall nice. Room 117's TV doesn't work, so that was a little frustrating. The room also seems to have a bad ant problem. They were all over the nightstand and sink. Overall, we're appreciative of this location and wanted to let them know about the issues we experienced.

Me and my Coworker got a room and we both slept around 10:00pm and we both got bit by BED BUGS over a dozen times! Do not recommend this place! Went to the front desk and told the front desk that we got bit by bedbugs multiple times and asked for a new Room front counter said there was no more rooms available due to being taken by the rest of our coworkers. He then said that he will find us a bug spray and we can change out the Blankets and bedsheets, but after me and my coworker went back into the room to take off the bedsheets we saw how big and how much bedbugs there was on our beds we said hellll no we aren't sleeping in here and then we called our other coworkers and slept with them on there beds for the night. Definitely not coming here anymore!

Between the overpowering smell of pot in the room when we arrived, noise all night long from the highway behind this property coming into our room thru the air vent by the shower, the creaky shower floor every time you move ( and you think you're going to fall thru at any moment) and the obnoxious guest on his motorcycle waking everyone up after midnight (not the hotels fault) and the next day with his blaring music that shook the rooms windows......I don't think I would sty here again. The staff were awesome though!

I stay here when I am in the area and I am never disappointed. The rooms are clean and quiet. The staff is wonderful and there is plenty of really good places to eat within 2-3 minutes. I recommend this hotel if you are in the area and looking for a decent priced hotel to stay in.

Hotel offers reasonable value and easy access to I-80. Typical breakfast. Staff not particularly interested in your satisfaction. Room needs better vacuuming especially around the beds. (We saw some litter there.). Some surfaces needed extra wiping.

This place is a dump for a Best Western. First room, we noticed that the tub was clogged and was full with 3 inches of standing water until we asked to change rooms the next day when no one came to fix the issue. Both rooms we stayed in were infested with ants. Recommend staying at a different hotel in the area for similar price.

We stayed one night. It's definitely showing it's age both on the outside as well as inside. The 24" tv didn't work The breakfast was pretty good with many offerings. The value for the amount of money I paid isn't there. Also heads up, it's a motel not a hotel.

I booked two rooms to be close to a graduation from June 9-11. We went to check in around 4:30 PM. They didn't give us rooms next to each other. When we got the keys, we went to the first room and tried to open it. It didn't work. I asked maintenance if they could open the door for us. The guy tells me that the door doesn't work. The person behind the desk was unaware of this as no one told him that the room is out of order. Since the hotel was sold out, they didn't have another room for us. The person behind the desk then called the manager on the phone and they started arguing with each other. Another group was waiting in the lobby because their room wasn't ready at 5PM, despite check in being at 3PM. However, you are admonished that you must check out by 11AM or you will be charged some ridiculous amount. The bottom line is that this hotel is terrible. It is run down, ugly and definitely one of the worst managed properties I have ever seen. I am still trying to get my refund days later.

The hotel is located right off the Fwy 80 and nearby many eateries. Beds are comfortable, very clean, and rooms are spacious. We had breakfast and it was actually very good and they provided items to grab and go. The personal have great personalities and very helpful. Will definitely stay again. My event was in fairfield and the hotel is literally 8 minutes away from there.

We have stay at best westerns before but this one by far is the worst!! If you like dirty rooms, have to hold the toilet seat on since the screws were missing and no towels after calling for them to bring them we got 2 bath towels and the receptionist was also our housekeeping and didnt make eye contact nor gave us instructions and hearing your neighbors having sex, then this is the hotel for you!!

I was not allowed to stay in the room that I booked and paid for through the Best Western website. I showed the receptionist my email receipt and the charges on my credit card from the Heritage Inn for the room and they said that did not prove I paid for my room. Justin at the front desk and Becky the manager told me to contact Priceline and that I could pay for another room if I wanted to have a place to stay. That was their solution.

Small, pleasant, basic BW hotel. Breakfast is monitored (not self-serve) with limited access to food items. Room, bed, etc., was clean, Easy access to freeway and restaurants, shops. I would stay here again.

Nice place to stay I love this place wouldn't stay anywhere else so if your looking for a place to stay with a hot meal for breakfast best western is the hotel the staff is great friendly I'd you need anything they are right on top of I have no complaints and would stay here over over

There were cockroaches in the room, when we went to management about the issue, I was advised it would be addressed and it wasn't. I was then told management would return my call and a week has past and nothing regarding my experience. Every time I call management isn't on-site and will not return my call. Very poor customer service on staff as well as management. My family and I will not be returning

There is a lot of road noise from cars going by on the nearby highway in the middle of the night, and very little sound insulation for the rooms. The pillows are very stiff, and the bed has that slightly smoky "hotel smell" in the non-smoking room. I find that hotels in the Bay Area are pretty much all overpriced for what you get.

When we arrived we were overcome with the smell of cleaning chemicals in the room and in the morning after the chemical smell cleared out the stench of sewer took its place. Breakfast was good. Ice machine worked. Bed was comfortable. Dog fee $30 per night, overpriced in my opinion. Will never stay here or at a Best Western again.

Definitely not worth the money spent but for the area it's in I guess I can understand. The room had an awful smell when we first got in and there was a razor cap in the bathroom. Won't be coming back.

The breakfast experience at Heritage Inn exceeded my expecting, considering the pandemic factor. The lady preparing and serving breakfast was very nice and helpful. She carefully ensured guests happy with good selection and quality breakfast.

The silver lining was the people working in the morning for breakfast were kind and very helpful with getting ya a good meal in the AM as for the clerking service. Absolutely terrible, don't know or aren't willing to help clients understand the bill plus are not willing to keep the price if a sudden change happens or they are more bussy. Overall i would pass if needing to stay more than one night, especially if you have little ones or furry companions

We only had one complaint about this motel. Our room #122 had an ant problem. Ants in the bathroom by the bathtub/shower, and ants around Both sinks. A lot of them. We only stayed 1 night. Having said that, we enjoyed everything else during our stay, especially the friendliness of the staff. The complimentary Breakfast was more than the average banana, yogurt, and coffee breakfast. They also provided scrambled eggs; sausage, and potatoes. This is an older facility, but tidy. They really need to hire an exterminator for the ants.

Skip this hotel! Dirty room with mold around the bathtub, stained furniture, dirty linens, and the ice bucket had a used cup in it. The AC did not work and the room was sweltering. No hot water in the shower. The front desk staff was very nice but these problems were beyond their control. We switched hotels. This has to to be one of the worst hotels that I have ever stayed at.

We had to wait to check-in. There was a guy ahead of me trying to get back a deposit from memorial day. They were not able to resolve it so moved on to me. We checked in and got our keys no problem. When we got to room (I paid extra for the only balcony room they had) the cleaning staff was still working. We had to wait 10 minutes outside in the heat with my husband and 2 dogs in tow. When they left, the room was hot as they left the balcony door open, so we tried the a/c and it was completely not coming on. I tried to call the front desk but the phone also didn't work. So they gave us a smaller, non balcony room that had a working a/c. There were ants in the room, especially the bathroom and the shower didn't turn on at all. It was late so we asked for a new room the next morning to shower in. So for the 3rd time in 24 hours, we packed up and moved all our stuff to the 3rd room where we could shower. We were booked for a 2nd night but I told them to cancel it and refund me. They offered to take off $60 for the dog fee. They still charged me for the balcony room and no discount! I will never go to a Best Western again!

As the property is next to the freeway, constant noise came as no surprise. Sound is somewhat mitigated by having windows face the property's interior, but unfortunately, the bathroom exhaust fan faces the freeway, and the traffic noise is piped in. It was so loud that, whenever we were in the room, we ran the bathroom exhaust fan, closed the bathroom door, and turned on the room's AC fan unit in order to get some white noise. If you want to sleep, be sure to bring earplugs. The bedroom was roomy, and it had a mini fridge & microwave. Another welcome plus was that there were 2 bathroom sinks. The shower had good water pressure and a generous flow. Unfortunately, the bathroom needed some serious cleaning. The floor had dirty footprints, the exhaust fan was covered with black grime, the toilet's hoses were caked thick with dust, the fiberglass tub was cracked, and dirty, and there was hair in it. The floor & tub were so off-putting that we we never went barefoot in the room & we wore flip flops when we took our showers. We are BW regulars & this experience was so gross & unlike any of our other BW stays, so we took pictures. As an aside, if the tub is cracked, it should be replaced.

We recently stayed at this hotel. The online pictures we're nothing like the actual hotel. First of all when we arrived the parking lot smelled of cigarette smoke and marijuana. This is after we paid to check in. Dumb on our part we should of checked it out first. The workers were not professional especially since smoking a cigarette while cleaning rooms. We had an upstairs room and it smelled so badly of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. We went In to bathroom and there was black mold on ceiling. We had our children with us and we're very concerned . We actually drove to store to buy a air refresher to spray. On top of that our bedside table light would not work. Big gap under door so you could see light outside. Screen falling off windows. Carpet had several stains and we never took out shoes off. Later that night about 10 pm it started ! A man yelling for a few hours would not shut up he was drunk and cussing. Scared my daughter so bad she threw up in toilet . We could not sleep At all . Afraid to leave because we would if had to go down to where he was at. The staff did not anything to have him leave. We got through night and we're so HAPPY to leave that place. Please don't stay here. We have always stayed at Best western in the past and have NEVER experienced a place like this. Very loud because it also sits next to freeway. Oh and the shower felt like we were going to fall through it. !! Very strange. I don't usually write reviews but If we can save one from experiencing this same stay then it was worth my time. !

stay away and cancel your stay if you can. too noisy and rude staff. After the person had a third “visitor” and we could hear everything we decided to check out at midnight and was denied a full refund

We were wanting to get away for Valentine's day. We arrived and encountered a very rude Hostess which threatened to not honor a reservation because I voiced my dissatisfaction with the hotel. We were able to check in and then it turned Bad. at around 10pm it started getting louder and the walls were so thin and not properly insulated, we could hear every neighbor and everything they were doing. around 11pm our upstairs neighbor started to have “company” and you could here the bed get worked over. once would have been too much, but after three visitors we decided that this hotel was not for us. we asked to cancel our stay and get our money back and was informed that we would not receive a full refund. I will never again stay at this Hotel and maybe stop going to Best western.

The room was roomy, the shower was hot, everything worked. Wish they'd call the cops on the trash fighting in the parking lot and 2nd floor. Employees were always friendly. Room could of used some deodorizers, but it was manageable

Nice, clean, comfortable room. Fridge and microwave in our room. The room was spacious. It had 3 nightlights going to the bathroom that automatically came on when you walked into the room. It was annoying until we figured out how to shut it off.

My stay here has been amazing. The room is perfect and clean has everything I needed! The service I recurve from the man at the front desk has been phenomenal. He's answered questions and helped find arrangements for transportation to the city. He was very friendly and did a great job and he really made my whole trip!

This is an older property and had many service and customer service issues. Had to wait 30 minutes for someone to help us check in because the desk was not manned. Housekeeping did not service our room but used the coffee maker and didn't even clean up their own mess.Plus no breakfast was available except bagged muffin offered because of pandemic.

Cleanest rooms, best customer service and overall great location to other stores I will always choose this place to stay about any other in this town staying somewhere else that has the same cleanliness and customer service the cost of Fortune This is hands-down the best place to stay

Needed a place to sleep while visiting friends. This was perfect. Quiet, great location, clean. Right down the street from where my friends lived. Very convenient, Didn't need them, but lots of great places to eat within a half mile. Will stay there again, I'm sure, unless my friends let me stay with them! Some friends, eh?

Paper thin walls, latch on window was broken, ants in the shower, could see daylight under entry door, coffee maker was missing basket, $30 dog fee, freeway noise. Don't stay here, save your hard earned $$$.

The overall stay was nice. Nice friendly front desk, very comfortable be and pillows. My only complaint was not having bath towels only hand and wash cloths but I made it work. The parking was rough but only because the lot is small and large trucks are able to park in the tiniest area

I called about a room charge and found that I was convicted of taking two pillows, I stay in over 200 motels per year all of which are Best Westerns. I was billed $50 for the two pillow that was allegedly missing. The office refused my request for reimbursement, I called customer service and they were unable to help me stating they had no control over the property. I feel like its a license to steal, I don't steal I don't need pillows from a hotel either.

Great people, good breakfast, uncomfortable beds. The king sized bed was very hard. It made sleeping difficult. Also, the room's walls were thin. We coyld hear everything. The staff was lovely and the breakfast was remarkably good.

I was not going to stay at this hotel due to some bad reviews.But they have it wrong.This is a great hotel with a great staff.Rooms are very clean.The staff is willing to do whatever to make your stay great.The hotel is close to the freeway but in your room you can't really hear it.I would advise anyone i know to stay hear.I give this place five stars.I will stay hear again.You can't go wrong with this hotel.I thank the staff for making my stay perfect.

The people at the counter were friendly and made it quick to check in and out, the room was a lot bigger than I expected, it was clean and the decor was cute too and it wasn't overly priced either... I would definitely recommend.

Great staff throughout the stay from check in to check out for this this easy to find hotel ..Many town activities close by. Breakfast area kept very presentable and restocked. Will stay once again when in the area.

Don't stay at this motel it's very older motel turned into a best western. Best western should have higher standards when letting a motel into their chain. They need to at least have some one go out to the motel and go over a list of expectation of what a motel needs to improve to be expected in to the chain for Best Western

This review is in two pieces. First the people here are great and helpful. That said the property itself is aging but not gracefully. PART 2 1 It is too close to the freeway for the amount of sound proofing it has. You can hear the traffic all night long 2 It has a funky drive in entry limited to a height of 8 feet. Coming in off the road with a camper meant i had to do several u turns in the street to come in a back driveway - at least they had one . 3 No elevator. Its only 2 floors, but when you ask for ground floor but all the queens are on the second floor hmmmm. It would seem, that with the number of times I have stayed at BW they might have created a profile about what I need and like and made that generally available to all the best westerns. 4 Ancient heating system - it worked fine once someone went up turned it on ( me) and waited 40 minutes for the heat to make a dent in one cold night. Also there is no heat in the bathroom so its quite an eye opening experience to stumble in there at 2 in the morning and perch on the throne. 5 automatic lights - suck - period, As i stumble to the bathroom all of the lights in the back end of the room come on startling the hell pout of my partner and momentarily blinding me. A better solution exists. There is no way to turn them off so they don't snap on. 6 Hand holds. - IF the hotel is that worried about safety it would put more handholds around the showers, and the toilet. As it was the floor is slick wood laminate- making it a deathtrap when wet. 7 The lamps with wifi instruction and two plugins are right out of the 1980s. they work fine, the wifi worked fine, but i felt like i was in a ground hog day remake. 8 For that much wear on the room it was fairly well cleaned and I have no complaints about the bed or even the rug - so kudos on that . 9.People outside the door on the walkway yakking away at 3 in the morning probably thought they were having a private conversation -hahah - There is seriously no soundproofing anywhere in this building. 10.decent refrigerator, and tv 11.decent mattresses. 12.No comments on the "breakfast" they are pretty much like every other one at every other BW. 13 The rating of 3 stars is based on other BW i have stayed at that got 5* - not on the over all hotel industry. THis is a middle of the road property with good people doing what they can. It needs massive updating and an attempt to bring it up to the year 2000 and beyond. IE if BW in generally is rated 2-3* for the whole hotel industry then this BW was in the middle of the middle. I might stay here again if push comes to shove, but I have stayed at the fairfield and the marriotts etc across the the freeway and found them to be better properties and more up to date - and pricier One were going through nenos 5 years ago and would have gotten the same review i gave BW had i stayed there then. All in all ths BW a decent place to spend one night providing you can take road noise. and second floor stairs

Ants, hair, and a filthy room. Pool is also not open this time of year. They changed our room and offered a huge discount but only took the tax off. You can hear any convo outside of your room, and definitely the freeway. Gap in the door where you can see outside and bug can come in. I would definitely not recommend staying here. Ceaser was very friendly.

The motel itself is an older motel, but it is clean and although next to the freeway, relatively quiet. The breakfast choice (while limited) was good. It's easily accessed from the freeway and has a restaurant across the street and a Panda Express next door. The staff were pleasant and friendly, very helpful.

If you're looking for a hotel that is close to the freeway, this is a good hotel. If you're looking for a hotel that makes you feel like you're actually ON the freeway, even better! This place is loud. You can hear the cars whizzing by at all times. The vent in the bathroom must just go straight up to the roof because it's insane in there. This hotel does NOT have conditioner. It wasn't in the room and when I asked at the front desk, they said they didn't have any. I find this strange. The breakfast was great. The bed was older, but comfortable. The room was clean and spacious. I only stayed here because my preferred hotel for this particular trip was booked. While it wasn't hideous, I doubt I'll be returning.

not good noisy, staff were not very courteous not rude but did not seem to be trained or very polite. Also the room has a funny odor and it was noisy. I saw food spill on the ground, not clean on the outside

the room was clean and updated, but the tub was definitely old the tub was clogged and there were ants and a roach in the bathroom I told them about the tub problem and they sent someone; it improved, but still had somewhat of a drainage problem

The property had no water, we were told after we checked in that the water would be fixed in a few hours this was on friday the 13th, had no water on sat the 14th and when the water came back on it was cold on the 15th. We checked out on the 15th to head back home with no showers being taken for 3 days. We complained about this and was told that we could not a refund but they would give us points to have a one night stay for free at a best western in the future. We should be refunded or at least have a 2 night stay credited. Also the bathroom was not clean, the tub had dirt or something on it and there was blood or something on the wall by the toilet. Not a very good stay at all.

The staff member who checked me in was nice but the hotel building itself needs a lot of work done. Everything from doors to a/c were far too loud and breakfast was cold and awful even though I showed up 15 min after it started plus the coffee was ran out. As well as there was no hot water in the whole hotel at the time due to maintenance.

Do you enjoy not having parking at the end of the night? How do you feel about wanna be gangsters outside playing their music at incredible levels at 9am? Or how about housekeeping knocking on your door at 8:30 in the morning and they force enter even with a "do not disturb" sign? Maybe you enjoy such thin walls that each step above you feels like an earthquake? Unclean towels? Lumpy pillows? Or how about housekeeping that doesn't even know how to make a bed (I wish I had taken a pic)? If this sounds like your dream vacation then please, stay at the Best Western in Vacaville!

Pros: Staff was very friendly Cons: - shower was broken (felt like I was going to fall through the patch job down into the first floor. Also the temperature would randomly jump from freezing to scorching in a matter of seconds) - pool was out of order (it was super hot so that sucked) - not the cleanest

I wish they can have more staff to help speed more check in. Nice place to stay but little too noisy because the hotel is locate next to the freeway. The room is nice and clean. Breakfast served early at 6:00 am. Staff is very nice. I would recommend this hotel.

This is a decent hotel with easy access and a good breakfast. The room was good sized and comfortable. Even with a close proximity to a freeway, the room was quiet as long as the bathroom door remained closed.

From my experience Best Western consistently supplies a satisfying experience and this hotel maintained that. Good location, restaurants near by. Room was clean and comfortable. Room was noisy from interstate traffic. Air conditioner did not help drown out sounds. Heard neighbors above us through paper thin floors. Heard every every step for an hour. The only light in the seating area did not work. Breakfast in morning was not ready. We were told employee did not show up. This hotel was disappointing to be labeled as a Best Western.

The door sticks, so you have to pretty much body slam it to open. The dead bolt also does not lock. Then when I got in all the drawers in the cabinet were open. Why? I was reading the paper in front of the Tv & there was an ant crawling across it paper. There is a crack in the vinyl in the bathroom. My college age son did a more professional job of laying new vinyl in one of our bathrooms. Tried internet - all I can get is the unsecured line - the login page on both phones & iPad are blank. So absolutely no security. I have NEVER been charged a $50 damage fee on check-in and think it is insulting. If your general clients are people who regularly do damage to hotel rooms, thats not a place I want to stay. However by the time I found out about this “deposit”, I was locked in to the reservation and could not cancel. Overall this hotel is pretty much comparable to some Motel 6's I stayed in 40 years ago. Update: I mentioned seeing a couple ants in the room. There were the ones on the TV counter and also some in the bathroom. Until I turned the shower on in the morning and hundreds of ants were pouring of the faucet fixture. Don't these people have an exterminator service? I guess not. This seems to have been an ongoing problem for several years according to previous reviews. I can't imagine that the Best Western company would be proud to have this facility in their organization.

The room remodeling is going really well. The internet has much to be desired though. You are given a 844 number to call with issues, but they seemed irritated if you call. Pool was being worked on so hopefully that will be in better shape when we come back. This is the 3rd or 4th time staying here and it is getting better and better.

The employees, all of them are sweet and very accommodating to us. I am not happy. Thanks to the friendly staff we got a last minute room. We have just recently moved out of California. I have known this hotel for many years. Our room clean, pretty. I heard every noise coming from the people in the room next to us. Our towels had dirt and dried blood smeared on them. We are not the only ones who had that too. The breakfast was gross uneatable I ended up having to have toast it had a aftertaste. . Coffee just okay. I won't be coming back. However the staff sweet friendly people. I really enjoyed talking to them. There needs to be a lot of improvements, the tub had a bad drip. The toilets didn't flush right. No pool we didn't know that till we checked in. Vacaville was very hot.

Knowing you can stay in a safe and comfortable place when traveling on the road is always great! Regardless whether for business or pleasure, traveling alone or with family all the amenities including the pool or hot tub are always great perks!

The pictures on TripAdvisor looked good so we chose to stay here on Saturday, March 30 while visiting friends in Vacaville. We reserved a king size bed from the Best Western website. Even the printed confirmation we showed the front desk person showed that. She said "we can't see that system here", so we had two queen beds instead, as the place was full that night and no other rooms were available. The room smelled of smoke despite being a non-smoking room. The TV had horrible picture quality. The hair dryer blew cold air on every setting. The bathroom had bugs crawling on the floor. The mattresses were very un-firm. Worst of all, the floors were paper thin and we could hardly sleep for all the floor stomping on the room above ours. We had to go to the lobby to request shampoo because none was in the bathroom or shower. Despite assurances of the front desk person that our room was one of the quieter rooms, one could easily hear the sound of I-80 coming through the bathroom fan. The front desk woman was pleasant enough at check in, and check out. The lobby is attractive enough, but this place has seen better days.

For the price, it more than met my expectations. It is an open to the elements but well kept up. A friendly staff. It seems the pool may have been open (outside) because they were cleaning. They had a computer in the lobby for those who had business to do. The rooms were spacious. It had a stuffed chair. It had a table. A lot of power outlets in th The noise was a little higher since it was next to the freeway. Still, there were so many choices for food (the old name for this area was hamburger hill). If want a more expensive dinner than you can either drive or walk 20 minutes over the nearby bridge you have some more expensive restaurants. Nut Tree which is only 10 minutes away walking has some shops and e room which can be trying at an older hotel. The shower heated up real fast which is rare in an older hotel. It had two sinks and a bath. I would consider it more a suite. It had also what looked like new carpeting (did need to be stretched) The breakfast was great. There were also M&M cookies as well. The water can be loud but expected in the older hotels. a nice gourmet ice cream place. I did have an issue but the front desk took care of it immediately.

room next to me were smokers they smoked in front of the no smoking sign they were also long term stay with barking dogs stay left windows unlocked and at 3am someone broke in don't the house keepers check for locked widows. house keeper knocked on my door at 7am what the hell there was a dog biscuit on floor behind the chair

My husband and I spent 2 nights here while visiting family. We had requested a ground floor room if available. When we checked in late in the day, it wasn't available, but we got one the next day. So, we stayed in 2 rooms. Both were very clean. We had a king size bed in both rooms. Rooms are a nice size. Carpet looked new. We were pleased. Staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

I came in around 1am and the guy at the front desk was excellent. I was really tired and had drove a long distance. They made me feel like I was at home. I appreciate everything and I will be returning.

For a best Western stay, this one been the greatest stay. The breakfasts was great to. To make your own fresh waffles was a nice addition. Hear people complaining but there look for a five star hotel with front door service. Go serve your country in the Army or Marine's and you will see this was a 5 star breakfast. The employee Monserrvat was great. She ran the breakfast area all by herself and has the best customer service. Sad to see someone like her deal with customers who are just mad or nasty. Im glade there are people like her that don't change there service because people don't like them.

Musky old cigarette smoke. Liking sleeping in an ashtray. If you like smoking then this is your place.Couldn't wait to get out of here. Needs to be professionally fumagated. We did not try the free breakfast. Travel over 30 nights a year, all we expect is clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.

Horrid experience. Entered the room, and it was 85 degrees in the room. A/C didn't work. Shower had two settings, OFF and Scalding. One of the sink faucets was inoperative. Front desk couldn't work the problems until the next day.

Worst BW ever. People outside drinking and playing lousmusclo. Seriously? The building needs badly needed renovation. Worst BW in my experience. Our room was feet away from the freeway. There's nothing separating it from some crazy driver.

Got two rooms booked for a family day trip (four adults and four children). Had an issue with one room that was rectified in less than five minutes. Great customer service from Stephanie who helped us with that issue.

Just average. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Price was good. Room was a bit noisy. Had to jiggle toilet handle to stop water from running. Dog area was flooded. Breakfast was Standard (eggs, waffles, cereals, etc.)

The checked in after Dark and there was a slew of work trucks in the parking lot with workers hanging out by the door of their rooms. The parking lot was dark and I just didn't feel safe. I checked with the front desk to see if I could have a room on the second floor away from all the workers and was told no. The room door was missing the upper Safety Lock. The air conditioning was on continually but basically non-existent. The room was shabby but clean. I expected more from a Best Western. The motel is close to a real nice Deli grocery store with tons of great items to choose from. I will not come back to this Best Western again.

Very nice place, room was nice size and the double vanity was great for trying to get ready in the morning. Easy access to I80 and Napa Valley. We were here to bring my son his car, he's stationed at Travis AF Base and it was close to base. Very kind helpful staff.

I was in town for a family event and decided to stay at this hotel because most of the rest of my family was staying here too. I can say with 100% certainty that I will never stay at this hotel again. When I checked in the front desk clerk seemed to be confused about the check-in process, but eventually was able to figure it out. The quality of the room was poor and there were bugs in the sink, vanity areas, and throughout other areas of the room. To be clear, I didn't notice any bugs in the bed, but after seeing them everywhere else, I was a little skeptical about the bed. The air conditioner had a thick layer of dust on the vents and looked as though it hadn't been dusted in many weeks. The water pressure was terrible and while showering I kept having to kill bugs that were coming out of a crack in the bathtub. I also was able to close and lock the door, but you could see daylight all the way around and hear all the noises of the other guests. There was also debris on the carpet throughout the room. When I went to pack up, I grabbed the loofah my son used in the shower (which was still in the bathtub) and there were bugs all throughout it and some that fell out as I moved it. Obviously that loofah went into the trash. When I checked out, I let the front desk clerk know about the aforementioned things in my room. She said, "Oh, okay" and that was that. I let her know I was very dissatisfied with my stay and she said, "Oh, sorry." I left feeling frustrated and knowing I would never stay at this hotel again. I encourage anyone looking for a hotel to avoid this one.

Rooms are super clean thanks to a top notch house keeping team. I had a king single, bed super comfortable and my fav was the 5 FIVE! pillows. In room coffee, microwave, fridge, and iron/ironing board, not to mention cable TV. You won't find a friendlier more accommodating staff in town, trust me I've been to all of them. I've never rated a hotel higher than this one. Right off 80. Walking distance to good food and entertainment. Check it out. Talk to one of their eager to please concierges.

Stayed one night. Right off the I-80 so a little noisy. Luckily the bed was on the opposite side of the room, so it reduced the noise. Free parking and free breakfast. Clean & comfortable. Worth the price.

The reception was fairly good. We had a room away from the freeway so it was not too noisy. The room was ok but parking is a bit of a problem, small area and very tight spots away from room. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but ok, limited selection. In general the motel is kept ok but cramped into a tiny space. Next time I will look for something else.

My over all stay was wonderful. Lots of close restaurants with in walking distance. The bed was comfortable, staff was friendly and the breakfast was yummy. On a previous trip my mother in law stayed there,she left behind her pajama bottoms and when she called to inquire about them someone was supposed to get back with, but never did. I inquired upon checking in. By this time it was to late. My mother in law also stated that my aunt forgot to bring her coat from home and someone from the staff had given her one.

The hotel is located in the middle of everything... easily located to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Comfortable beds and fast WiFi. The hotel served a hot breakfast with lots of options for everyone to choose.

I had to travel to Fairfield for work for a few days. I normally book the BW in Cordellia, but they didn't have any room available, so I thought I would give this BW in Vacaville a try. I would have been more comfortable in my car. The woman who checked me in was nice and friendly, and that's where the positives end. The king bed was old, hard as a rock, and had indents so you knew which side of the bed people preferred. The door to my room shut, but you could see daylight all the way around it. The other hotel guests were up until all hours of the night banging and screaming, and no one from the BW staff said or did anything despite my noise complaints at 1 and 3 in the morning. Then there were ants waiting to bathe with me in the morning. Not a few mind you, but an entire colony. Needless to say, I passed. Breakfast was interesting because the items offered were limited to black coffee, eggs (they tasted like powder), bacon (if you can call it that), sausage, muffins, and juice. I had breakfast at Starbucks because their options were edible and I didn't feel like I might die after I ate there. In summary, I will never stay here again. I'll stay at a BW in Napa and drive the extra 12-15 miles.

We drove from Oakland to Vacaville and came in totally exhausted late. Got our room and sleep a good night sleep. Nice room, service minded staff and ok breakfast. Good value for the money! Fast wife and parking space for our car.

This is an older Best Western with limited parking and so/so breakfast. Some things in the room did not work-heater and TV. People are very nice however. There are better options in the area however this is a pretty good location.

Small property right off Hwy I-80. Clean rooms nicely decorated the Best Western standard. Great Breakfast Bar with lots off selections. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, breakfast burritos, Waffles and a selection of breads and danish. Carla at the Breakfast Bar gave us excellent service!

Very poorly managed hotel in a busy touristy area. The room was moldy and smelly and the carpet had stains that were pretty disgusting. Our reservation was lost and the front desk could not reach a supervisor even up to the time of our departure the next day. The breakfast was biscuits and gravy and pastry. Both cold and stiff. Hotel was very hard to access from the main highway.

Went to San Francisco for the day on New Years Eve & then drove out after fireworks and stayed here when we got out of the city (and traffic!). I got in after 3:00 a.m. and had a problem w/ my booking I made on Hotels.com because of the time I arrived. The front desk receptionist, Clarence, was PHENOMENAL! I was so tired & he was so helpful! He got the situation all fixed & I was so impressed by how on-it he was for so early in the morning! Room was super clean and cozy, great breakfast (eggs, waffles, sausage, biscuits, granola bar w/ fruit toppings, bagels, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee...), and great staff! Recommendation: Book your room directly through BestWestern.com or by calling the hotel directly rather than using another website like Hotels.com (which I always use!). In this case, going through them is even cheaper!! Happy New Year!

It was a nice place to stay. For some reason the TV didn't turn on, but we were tired and the quiet was good, but the walls are a bit thin, so could here the people next to us talking, and typically could here the person/persons above us walking back and forth in the morning. No big deal, just an observation. The toilet was a bit touching draining occasionally, but we learned it was thought to have been fixed recently, so...? Otherwise all else was great!

Parking lousy, spaces are tight and I had to park across the parking lot. Not a long walk but I had to pass two spaces that were closer to my room because of larger vehicles taking up the space. My son had to carry Hockey equipment for tournament. It took 30 minutes to logon to the internet and the guests upstairs walked so hard that it was difficult to sleep.The checkout was a joke. I stood at the counter and had to yell hello to get someone to come from the backroom.

fishing bum visits Putah Creek frequently, needs a nice flop after a challenging day on the water, Vacaville BW fills the bill. Nice people, clean room with exactly the amenities I need (microwave, fridge), decent breakfast, and stores nearby having everything I want for a comfortable stay.

We stayed here before and were disappointed but said we will give it another try. Big mistake. Too many problems to make another stay. Difficult to get into the location, parking to close to rooms, and services were awful.

locked out of room, couldn't leave once got opened because couldn't guarantee the lock would reopen. Broke into room through window in 2 seconds, (wow security?) Not really compensated for the inconvenience. Poor customer service on manager's part. Onsite staff at least showed more compassion.

Stayed one night for a business trip. Staff was friendly, although the pool area could be better maintained. Overall stay was good and the area is safe. Room was clean and wifi worked. No complaints here. Would definitely stay here next time!

Road noise is unacceptable level. Back of the hotel is the freeway. The Front of the hotel is the main road to town. Room's windows are single pane not able to isolate the noise. Could not slept through the night. Hot breakfast is available, but quality is not great

From so cal to nor cal me my wife and 3kids were tired looking for a hotel called best western was told the had nothing available besides a single room with a king size bed if it was ok with me it was ok with them.... of course I am ok with that after a long drive we were tired. The room had a. Backed up toilet and a smell??? An employee plunged it then said the room was too small for my family after they are the ones who offered it to us??? What the..... rudeness

We were evacuated from our home due to the fires in Northern California and we have pet dogs. Best Western Heritage Inn not only welcomed us and our pets, they even gave us a reduced rate because we were evacuees. Other hotels in the area were price gouging! Our tv didn't work the first night so they reduced our rate even more and then had a repairman come the next morning to fix it! The staff at the hotel were friendly and did all that they could to help us and made sure we had everything we wanted for breakfast. It is a great location very close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel was sold out and parking was a little tight but we have no complaints and appreciate their generosity and caring for our situation.

Main problem here is that the hotel is a couple of yards from the freeway. Our room was very noisy due to that. Breakfast is included, and actually quite good - with Belgian waffles you can make yourself, eggs, sausages and even non-gluten choices.

I found this hotel to be a great value for the money. My room was spacious and clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. The A/C unit worked very well and was also very quiet. I would stay at this establishment again.

This was stay booked at the last minute. Handy location, very nice staff and excellent room. Room was very large, clean and comfy. Loved that it had frig, microwave, coffee maker and 2 sinks w/provided hairdryer. Very handy for shopping at the outlet malls in Vacaville. The only downside was the noise on 2 fronts: the walls were so thin I could hear my neighbors chatting (they were not that loud) and people in the room above walking around. Location turned out to be noisy due busy street with most noise in my room (123- lower level) coming from the bathroom side (I closed the bathroom door wasn't bad). The TV didn't work - could only get the preview channel - but then I was only there one night. There as an ice machine and nice little pool but didn't check these out. Also provided breakfast -- good selection overall. I noted the pan of scrambled eggs were hard and lukewarm at best (blah!).

Adequate room for a night. Dog friendly. Some unsavory looking young men hanging about but no problems. Breakfast is what you'd expect. No big glaring negatives. Would stay again although it was a bit pricey for what it was.

Was looking forward to another good, reliable experience with Travel Advisor and Best Western for last minute business travel. What a disaster! My reservation was transferred to a service called Getaroom. When I arrived to check in the front desk clerk could not check me in because of a supposed glitch in the system with a discrepancy on tax rate and room rate to Best Western. Not my problem, the reservation confirmation email said PAID IN FULL to my credit card. Over 35 minutes on hold with getaroom and unable to get an answer. I got a key to a room while she was still On hold but it was still being cleaned. Jeeez back to the lobby, still no resolution. I gave up and left to go home. A paid nights stay for nothing!!!

All staff was very friendly! Made my stay feel Like I was at home. The rooms were very clean and updated. Staff was always very attentive when requesting something and breakfast was very good. I defenetly will be back!

Less than awesome motel with parking lot pool and plenty of highway noise. Room was comfortable and staff was alright. Breakfast wasn't great but better than nothing. There's plenty of other hotels in the general area and it's probably worth checking out the others to see if they're any better.

Check in & out staff were very friendly and informative. Rooms were nice, clean, roomy and comforroomy. I would recommended to friends and now know where I will be staying next time we head that way !

Easy to find and easy access to downtown and many places to eat and shop! It's a great place to stay. Well kept and friendly staff. Although there was no one there when I went to check out, a nice lady helped me and even gave me a great tip on where to grab some breakfast! Thanks!

Had everything we needed and we were comfortable. The gentleman who checked us in went above abd beyond to accommodate our needs. We especially enjoyed the pool and the A/C in the room. More tv channels would have been nice. Would stay again.

The suite had a bedroom that was unusable because the air conditioning would not circulate air into it. The air conditioner was inadequate for the main room with the bedroom and bathroom closed off, The motel is very plain, more akin to a Motel 6.

Both the worker and her manager went above and beyond to meet our expectations (which upon further thought may have been a bit unfair). They worked hard to please us even at their own expense. Thank you for helping to make our stay pleasant!!

We got in the hotel staff was nice and great to work with. However the hotel quality was lacking. There needs to be better house cleaning. In our first room it had dirty foot prints on the bathroom floor and pubic hair in bath tube. Staff offered an up grade. After a quick look we thought the up graded room would be ok. Then we started looking closer and got grossed out. Dirt possible blood ants and another bug in the sink. Dirty lamp shades. Hotel staff worked with us and refunded. If you are not picky you may be ok as I said the staff was nice. It was just not up to my standards.

Nothing bad to say. Nice girls at the front desk, although they didn't smile a bunch. Very helpful when I couldn't figure out the coffee maker, or just needed towels. They were very accommodating. The rooms were updated, but it's almost like they forgot to update the bathrooms. We will definitely stay again.

Caring staff and a great value are here for you. This place is conveniently located and offers all the services you need.. Breakfast is included as well as the internet. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

We had stayed in this hotel a few times before as it was convenient for our purposes. This time we were surprised to find that there had been a complete upgrade, new paint, new rugs, new comfortable bed and new fluffy towels. We would be happy to stay here again.

This facility has wonderful staff and pleasant to work with. The offerings are good as well as the facilities available to the guests ie pool, breakfast. An ideal location for several area activities. I have continued to enjoy the facility for my local get away place and have had family members appreciate the hotel as well. Suggest staying there as a great stop off to the Vacaville Sacramento Vallejo area.

Older, run down property. Very little parking. Check-In and Check-Out staff seemed "out of it." Not much of a breakfast. A portion of the shower head fell off the first time I used the shower. In need of upgrading.

I reserved this hotel weeks in advance. When I arrived after driving 12 hours, I was told the specific room I had requested (3 queens) had been given to someone else. "Would I like to cancel?" Having just driven all day I asked for the next best thing & was assigned room 245 with 2 queens and what looked like a twin bed. Considering I had a party of 5, that could work. I took my luggage up to the room - past the many smoking guests in the stairwells and parking lot (so much for a non-smoking hotel). After about 5 minutes of walking around the room with shoes off, our feet were black as coal! Have they ever cleaned the carpet?!? It got worse, the microwave and mini fridge were from what appeared to be the early 1980's. The chair at the desk was broken and could not be adjusted - a big issue for my husband since he brought work with him and needed a desk. I went to use the bathroom and there were dozens of ants everywhere! I'm talking in the shower, crawling on all the towels , up the walls, all over the vanities...it was disgusting! I then hopped on my cc account to check my available credit - they pre-authorized the full amount of my 3 night stay + their incidental amount of about $100 which is pretty standard. Only problem is they pre-authorized my card TWICE (tying up an additional $500+ in credit, which I certainly don't appreciate while traveling. My credit card company had to call BW and straighten it all out). At that point I headed to the office to let them know I certainly did not intend to stay in their hotel. They then told me they could fumigate the room the following morning if I'd like to move my reservation by a day and check-in again tomorrow at which point they'd need to pre-authorize my card AGAIN! UM, NO! They already had over $500 held for a reservation I no longer wanted nor intended to use. Kayla (the front desk attendant) was very nice and tried to help me the best she could for it being about 11 o'clock at night by that point. In the end, she canceled my reservation without penalty. I went back to the room and as I was figuring out where I could go - with my 3 kids - somone's car alarm goes off in the parking lot to which no one responded for at least 20 minutes...it woke my kids as they had started to drift off to sleep while I was trying to sort things out. Thankfully it wasn't my car & I was able to find another hotel closer into my destination. This was the grossest motel room I have ever booked & I've stayed in some cheap local places...the only good thing about this place was Kayla's attempts to help me in the midst of a really bad situation.

I enjoyed the great customer service I was given by the front desk person. The room was clean and smelled good, bed was comfortable. The location could be little better just in terms of hard to find off the street really have to be looking for the place to find it.

Stayed few times in this hotel, since many hotels in Davis booked far in advance for UC Davis picnic day. 20 min drive to UC Davis. Nice hotel, as many Best Western hotels. Easy parking and internet, nice breakfast.

We stayed 3 days & nites. It is a smaller motel but the staff is friendly & helpful. They gave us fresh towels each day as we did not need to have them clean the room each day. The maids were very friendly & did their best to please us.

This place was ok for a BW. The rooms and building it's self is in need of some updating. The Breakfast was greats, but there was only one waffle maker and it took forever to get the all five of us a waffle to eat. The staff are rockstars and will take good care of you!

Because I travel with my dog, I am a regular BW customer. This was my first time at this hotel; other area hotels were booked. I will never go back. First of all, it's a concrete jungle on a busy road next to an outlet mall; there are no good places to walk or potty your dog. Not the hotel's fault. Inside the room: both the deadbolt and the security lock were broken, which made me nervous. I slept with a chair in front of the door. The shower had ancient plumbing that moved behind the wall when you pulled on the handle, and it was nearly impossible to turn on. There was no shower curtain, so the floor got flooded. No wonder it was warped. And no wonder there was no shower curtain--the shower curtain rod was pulling out of the wall. An all-around stressful, unpleasant experience.

car broke down and i had to find a place to stay overnight. Stephanie was friendly and helpful, thanks so much. Room was fine, clean, everything ok. I would stay there again, and I recommend this Best Western.

I traveled to Vacaville for a Women's Meeting at a local church. Several women come a day early for meetings and fun! The hotel was chosen by the host church because of the price level and how close it is to the event. The hotel is older, but our room was clean and roomy. Staff made check in quick and easy. Lots of restaurants nearby. The freeway backs right up to the hotel, and there was a huge sports event in town with rooms full of young men....Surprisingly the place wasn't all that noisy. Yes, I heard the traffic and some people having fun, but I was to busy enjoying myself to worry about it.

This is a clean and comfortable motel. Close to many shopping places, and centrally located. You won't be disappointed in this Best Western motel. The staff was helpful, rooms clean, noise level at a minimum. My choice in motels when I travel to central California.

The room and service were average. The water handle for the shower spray needed repairs. I reported the problem. It was never corrected. The TV reception was very poor. The TV remote was not very helpful.

Nice stay in a very large room with a nice kingsize bed. A bit of highway noise. Good TV reception. Nice swimming pool. Nice breakfast area. I would especially suggest staying at this hotel if planning to shop at Vacaville Outlets.

Asked for a nonsmoking room and it even had the nonsmoking sign on the door, but it was awful! Our clothes, hair...everything smelled of SMOKE! My throat hurt by morning! Could not change our room as it was the last one.

for an older hotel the grounds and the hotel itself are fairly well kept up.realize the cost is high, but wish the pool was heated. looked so inviting. the breakfast was a surprise with strawberry waffles and the bw local in the center within a heart. the breakfast service was great and very clean.

Great location, very convenient The bed was super comfortable The breakfast was delicious. The waffles were amazing. They use Golden Malted waffle. The new waffles have a BW logo designed inside the waffle plate. So, when the waffle is made, it says BW. great idea, very delicious. Kimberly, the manager also provided us with Nutella packets to use on our waffles.

We've checked in the hotel for a non-smoking room, was able to rest until the guest from the room next door came out to the balcony to smoke. Out room was full of cigarette smoke around 7PM, we've asked the guest to please move further away, but the smoke still got in to our room. We've called the front desk to ask if they could help, but they said that their guests are allowed to smoke on the balcony. We've given up & moved out of our room around 9:30PM to go to another 100% non-smoking hotel. The front desk didn't agree to refund us for the night and told us that the Manager will call us the next morning to discuss. But all we got was a "automatic" email telling us that the Manager regrets that the hotel did not meet our expectation!!!!

Excellent location, great people, friendly and outgoing. Have watched the remodeling and breakfast changes and has been very nice. We always stay at the Best Western Heritage in Vacaville when we are there, and that has be 2-3 times a year!

While the parking area is surprisingly smaller than expected .. The room size makes up for it. We ended up here, due to an unexpected family situation, but was not disappointed. Having already driven half the day, The spacious room was a nice surprise. The employee "Stephanie" was found to be, very professional, patient and compassionate when it came to handling an unusual situation, related to an unknown person on the property, who was not a registered guest. The area was also very quiet, just a short walk to The NUT TREE. Easy access on and off of US 80.

Shabby at best. Blanket smelled like somebody else. Outdated. Wouldn't stay again at any price. They really should tear the place down and build a new hotel. Will be extremely cautious about staying at any Best Western in the future. Not a pleasant experience.

This is a clean friendly Inn with all of the amenities that you need. This includes wifi, mini fridge, microwave, a pool and they even provide a free breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located right off the freeway as well. Above all, it's a clean and quite place to stay and get a good nights rest.

We stayed at a typical BW motel, our usual choice, but were disappointed by this location. Not enough parking, no elevator to the second floor, and overall the motel looks tired. Rooms were spartan but adequate, breakfast was the standard BW 'breakfast lite', staff was friendly. Good access to local businesses and the freeway.

The hotel was very clean, easy to find and centrally located. Kim at the front desk and all the other desk staff members whose names I didn't get were professional and attentive to the guests and to the lobby and breakfast area. Housekeeping did a great job, too, especially considering how large the rooms are, complete with microwave and not-so-mini refrigerator! We WILL be back to this Best Western Inn again!

This hotel was among the cheapest in the area with acceptable ratings. It was not fancy, but was comfortable for a couple of nights. A little noisy from the parking lot. all-in-all it was good for passing through.

I wasn't expecting much when I pulled up and saw that it had more of a "motel" look but the room was clean, and staff friendly. The only negatives were noisy neighbours (who needs a television on that loud?), noisy air conditioning that blows freezing air right at the bed no matter which way the air deflectors are set, inconsiderate people at the breakfast area (taking up valuable chair space for a purse, and leaving wet seats behind) and finally, the hedge out front creates a bit of an obstruction to view traffic coming as you want to leave the hotel - especially if you're in a smaller car. Perhaps if it were a little shorter..... Despite this, I'd stay there again... and just might as I'm already planning my next trip to California ;-)

I took my teenage sons for a shopping weekend and just needed someplace to sleep near the outlets, I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience-friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms, breakfast. I find myself wanting to go back to Vacaville just to stay again! My only issue was the receipt was much cheaper than I paid through Priceline, but thats a priceline issue, I will directly book next time!

The decoration of guest room from recently renovation is making the room very bright and comfortable ( especially with more lights, mirrors(3), sinks (2) that made room very convenient and enjoyfull ! The price in summer is very good with full breakfast. It is recommended for guests coming to Vacaville.

We had a very nice stay. the rooms were nice and clean. there was redecorating with some of the rooms. The outside was clean and neat. The staff was pleasant and assisted my family when needed. The Hotel was near the outlet mall. It was also near all kinds of restaurants. We even went to a nearby bowling .

Normally Best Westerns are a very good choice, but this one was having some remodeling done and the quality of the work was below average. Because of the remodel the first room we were given was not completed and we had to be moved which took a very long time.

Needed a place to stay for a week while we found a permanent place to live. We often stay at a BW because we have found that for the price the value is good. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy and though it is close to the freeway the noise is not too bad. Really hot here and we had to run the AC almost all the time! That drowns out a lot of other noises. The pool was clean and helped keep us cool. Internet worked well, which was important! The breakfast offered a lot of variety and saved us some money! A hot breakfast is a good start to your day! The manager, Kimberley really went the extra mile taking care of a couple of problems we had during our stay. The AC unit had a problem, and she had her crew switch it out for a new one in a matter of minutes! We would also like to compliment Coral at check-in for being helpful and cheery! Made us feel welcome! Canyon and Lydia are great too. During our relocation the crew here at this BW really made our stay a great one!

Best place we've stayed in a very long time. Best sleep i've had in a motel/hotel. At this time I don't think we will be staying anywhere but Best Western. We do a lot of traveling and this was my first time at BW. I just hope all BWs are of the same quality as the one in Vacaville California.

So-so room, many lights not working. Management/staffing poor...it took 20 minutes to check in eventhough we were pre-paid. Breakfast so understaffed that we had to wait for food, utensils and coffee.

The only thing I could think of that would have made it completely perfect is if the 2nd room had ventilation. If you close the door prepare for a sauna. The breakfast was great and the staff were awesome!

I stay at hotels around the world EVERY month for work. This was a personal trip, and the location was good for me, so I booked it. I KNOW from experience, "sometimes" Best Western's (in the US at least) are a crap shoot. Overseas they are usually SPECTACULAR. That having been said, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!!! The rooms are updated, clean, MODERN and the property is VERY conveniently located to local restaurants as well as freeways. The front desk person JESSIE was just AWESOME, and the room cleaning staff were soooo friendly and helpful. I was shocked I didn't have to pay a Pet Deposit for my little "boy".....(even though he is the most well-behaved puppy in the world).........just my humble opinion. I willbe going back to Vacaville again, and as a Best Western Rewards member, I will have absolutely NO hesitation to book this property again. Thank you BEST WESTERN HERITAGE INN Vacaville for restoring my faith in your US properties! Now, if we could only CLONE you elsewhere in the USA!!!! My Vote: 10 STARS!!! Thank You. Also room prices where more than when reservations were made. Since this was a family graduation and other family members were staying in this location, we made the decision to pay the higher prices. A small refund or a free night would make up for this issue.

This hotel is very convenient, clean and friendly. The rooms are finished tastefully and have all the features that to make it a comfortable stay. I like the fact that they all have microwaves and mini fridges, as well as a coffee maker.

Terrible service in the bfst area, no one overlooking the operation no hot food avail for the bfst time(which was to be 7am) and still no items @7;30 am, some guests hogging the area and making multiple plates up for others, took all the fruit and ran out of items. Thought perhaps the hotel might have discounted our bill but no such thing. The room was quiet and comfortable but that was it!

I usually don't comment on the front desk service but I will in this case. I checked in with a bad cold and I really appreciated how nice and friendly the people at the front desk were. They turned a miserable day into a pleasant one. The room was nice and I'd stay here again, but there are a few issues. The a/c wall unit is too loud to leave on all night (room 101 iirc). Parking is tight so that will be an issue also if you have an oversized vehicle. I thought the breakfast was fine, scrambled eggs and hot sausages, and I enjoyed it. The location is very good being next to an I-80 freeway exit. Rooms are quiet though. There are numerous restaurant choices nearby – mostly chain restaurants – but these include In-and-Out Burger, which this California visitor appreciated it very much. :)

1. The phone was unplugged and the other cord wasn't visible to plug back in so we had no phone to use. 2. There were only 2 towels for 3 of us. Upon asking about this the front desk said we only ever stock 2 no matter the occupancy for the room. 3. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The eggs were inedible. 4. There wasn't a room binder guide to the hotel or area. That is something I always browse through. 5. There were no extra blankets in the room so I was cold all night because... 6. The heater was so loud we had to turn it off. Stay anywhere else...never again. I expect more from this brand of hotels. Lydia at the front desk was nice.

Nothing special but quiet despite proximity to the freeway. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants.Continental breakfast was quite adequate with several choices. Overall comfortable and nice stay.

This is not a high-end hotel, but if you're not looking for bells and whistles, it's a good hotel for the price. Our room was not ready at the 2pm check-in time. I was told someone would call me when the room was ready but I still had not received a call by 4pm. The door for room #117 will only close if you slam it, a window screen was hanging off its frame, and the shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall. But it was bug-free, clean, and offered a decent selection at breakfast. All the hotel employees we encountered were friendly and ready with a smile.

nice reception, clean and spacious room, very good breakfast, very good service. I can only recommend that hotel for your private or business trip. Only the weather could have been better. If I come to that area again, I will stay in BW Vacaville again.

This place has a good location. It is close to all your needs such as gas, food, and the highway. If you are looking for the manager, good luck to you. You will have to go on a scavenger hunt to find her. I don't think any customer should have to chase the manager down, especially if the customer is right. If all you want is value and convenience, this is the place. If you want a better experience, go somewhere else. I have been to a lot of Best Westerns and I will not be coming back to this one.

This Best Western Hotel is your basic hotel with basic amenities. It was clean and comfortable with breakfast and internet access included. The hotel was conveniently located along I-80 near Napa and Sonoma Valleys.

We were driving through from Redding to SF and decided to stop for a night in Vacaville upon chancing on Heritage Inn. As a BW member, this stay did not disappoint! Terrific value. Even as its exterior may appear like an older inn, however, the room we had was perfectly well-refurbished, modern, clean and spacious! The lobby was very inviting too. Unbeatable location, right off the highway and plenty of food establishments around.

Vacaville Best Western hotel is nice and clean, 15 min from UC Davis, great value and staff. I visited my daughter for the Picnic day, and very happy was able to make reservation to this hotel, stayed twice here already. Vacaville is a nice town for dining also.

The hotel was in process of getting a facelift & from work that was already done its gonna look great. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially receptionist who assisted with printing my flight boarding pass when my tablet wasn't playing nice. Good choice of breakfast options. Lovely comfortable bed.

This hostelry is very clean and comfortable. It is also very convenient---easy on/off US 80. The staff are p[olite, but friendly and very attentive. I often travel with my family, including children age 17, 15, 4 and 18 months. We are comfortable at this BW and I am getting a GREAT deal, considering that the breakfast is free!

We have grandchildren in Vacaville and visit once every three months. The weather was bad, it rained each day and the travel back to Nevada was bad as we drove through wind and snow conditions. The hotel was ample, several deep puddles and the place was going through upgrades to the tile exterior. I imagine it will look just wonderful when it is complete.

OLD Hotel poor condition, pool not inviting, needs new furniture, carpeting and decor. Bathroom was in poor condition no hot water just warm. Air conditioning unit unbelievably noisy. Parking lot small. In general very noisy most of the time but even late night. GREAT LOCATION

a lot of restaurants nearby to choose, there is a panada express next to the motel which opens late at night, (if you don't mind greasy chinese food) if driving to SF via bay bridge, try to avoid morming rush hours, it could take you hours to get through

We always stay at Best Westerns in our travels This was the worst. Mold in shower, loud construction work in front of room, weak, watery coffee pods provided in room, no wake up calls when requested (twice!). Poor. Poor. Even the young staff seemed to want to chat more than they wanted to work. What a shame to have such a reflection on the Best Western name. We certainly will not be staying here again.

Needed a good cheap hotel traveling through towards sanfransisco and was very disappointed. Best westerns always are at least clean. This room had stained walls, ceiling, floor, towels, curtain for the balcony. Very noisy due to traffic so close which is understandable however the room condition was horrible. There were chunks of brown things on the floor... looked like old food or animal feces. Slept on the covers with all our clothes on and ear plugs to block out the noise. The room was non smoking and smelled like it was a smoking room instead. Not a hotel we will ever go back to and now very dissatisfied with Best Western.

Believe I have stated before best safest place to stay in Vacaville having spent 40 days last year. Wonderful front desk staff, housekeeping workers and pleasing rooms and recreation facilities. THE BEST

Our stay was a good experience. As close as this motel was to the highway it was very quiet. The facility is an old one, but, has been tastefully re done. I was not satisfied with the bed, it was too hard, however my wife said it was just fine for her. I would recommend this motel.

Staff was busy, but professional and got my room assigned quickly. Room was large, 2nd floor with a balcony, outside stairs to the 2nd floor. Bed average comfort, plenty of lighting throughout the rooms with TV/micro-fridge/coffee maker in the main room. Parking for full size trucks limited though and entrance to the driveway a little tricky @ night if you don't catch it quickly. Guess the pet walking section is towards the back area at a rocked lot but was maintained well. Restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast was a little late out with a limited selection.

The motel was easy to find. Lots of eating places near by. They accept pets for only $20.00.The room was large. It was easy to set up our pet crate and still have lots of room for us. The pets were happy too. We plan to come back to spend more time in the area for pleasure and for future business trips. It was winter so did not use the pool. The pool was small but could get wet and play in it. The breakfast was ok. The people were pleasant and would spend time talking with you.

Another reviewer mentions hookers at the hotel...so that explains why some scuzzbag approached me in the parking lot! The staff was extremely nice ant the room was great for the price. BUT I had just lost my home and all personal possessions in the Valley Fire. It was extremely sad that makeup and clothes went missing after housekeeping went through. We tipped the maids generously each morning, but evidently this wasn't enough.

There are hookers working out of this hotel. They are very discreet. The hotel is undergoing extensive remodeling and painting. They stopped work about 5 o'clock so it was quiet in the evening. Beds were comfortable. Location next to Interstate 80 meant there was traffic noise most of the night but the comfortable bed made it easy to get to sleep. For $67 per night the room was a great value. Good refrigerator in room.

We needed a bed for the night at short notice, for one night in Vacaville and settled on this hotel, as it was easy access from the freeway. It was only after we checked in and were walking to the room across the car parking area that the traffic noise from the freeway hit us. Well, no need to worry, when we got in the room, we couldn't hear it from the bed, only when we went into the bathroom could you barely hear it. The room was bigger than I expected, the beds were comfortable. The only problem was the heater, it was a very cold night and even with the heater turned up to 80 degress, it still wasn't heating the room, fortunately there was plenty of blankets. The free breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, sausage, freshly made waffles, toast. cereal etc. Overall a very good deal.

Heritage in Vacaville is the best of Best Western and frequently is my get away from home stay of residence. Housekeeping Supervisor Thelma is the star of the staff as are the folks at the front desk at this location. Would stay more often this is 1st place to home.

Very spacious hotel room and stayed for one night. Stay was fine and enjoyed the typical breakfast. Recently remodelled the hotel. Giving rating only four due to these: 1. Balcony was not very clean 2. Bed was not very comfortable. 3. Remodel of the bathroom was not done neatly; still some area rust can be seen and bathroom flooring was not done correctly.

Went to Vacaville for a funeral. This location was very convenient to all places I had to go. Prices were reasonable, they allow smoking, rooms very clean and a great breakfast. The place is older, but sometimes older is better quality.

This motel is in a very convenient location to the freeway, shopping and restaurants. Although this was our 2nd stay here this visit was very noisy with people walking overhead and people coming and going outside. I am a faithful BW customer with a diamond status. Next time I will stay at a different facility and forego the points.

For the price you pay - it is just reasonable. I have made a comment already and that would be enough. Great for a short stay and for the common traveler. We know that price has something to do with the quality of our stay.

While staying at the hotel in Vacaville there was lots of evening noise when people were checking in late and lots of early morning noise due to repairs. The breakfast was adequate and the staff were friendly and helpful.

had to get away to get some much needed sleep. customer service was great and and very quite so i was able to get the work done that i needed to get don and get the much needed rest that i needed. when i came time to check out wasn't ready so i had called down to front desk and asked for 30 more min. to finish up with my packing and everything was just fine. thank you so much

Peeling paint, shower knob broken off, dirty floors, strong smoke odor in 'non smoking' room, plastic bag tied over smoke detector, hypodermic needle cap on floor in bathroom... just so scary and gross. Definitely the worst Best Western experience ever. We rented a three room suite for our family. I was amazed by the price until I got there... then it all made sense. Raise the rates a little so you can afford to fix your rooms. NASTY.

Old motel, but, was very tastefully redone. The room was very clean, and the furnishings were very nice. We were a little concerned because this was close to the highway, but, it was VERY quiet. The beds were comfortable and all amenities were in working order. We had to leave early in the morning before breakfast was due to be ready the staff made sure it was ready by 5:30 for us. Great place to stay!

I booked this hotel because all hotels in Davis were booked, and it was great! Large rooms, fridge, nice breakfast, pet friendly. 15 miles from Davis (on the way to Davis for me). The best value for the money.

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The bathroom looked like it had been recently updated but on the cheap. The faucet was very difficult to pull out to get the shower to work. The outside is outdated but ok. Parking is limited when filled to capacity. When I arrived late after a concert, the only spot left was handicapped. I pointed this out to the front desk and they said just park in one of the handicapped and not to worry about getting towed. It worked out because I didn't get towed but I was a little nervous about it. Warm breakfast is basic (fake eggs and limp bacon along with continental) but ok as a small meal. 24/7 coffee flavor was good (better than most others).

A good value. Hotel needs to be updated and SOUNDPROOFED as it backs onto freeway. Walls and ceiling very thin!! Staff were very helpful and friendly with an excellent breakfast. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
