My husband and I spent 2 nights here while visiting family. We had requested a ground floor room if available. When we checked in late in the day, it wasn't available, but we got one the next day. So, we stayed in 2 rooms. Both were very clean. We had a king size bed in both rooms. Rooms are a nice size. Carpet looked new. We were pleased. Staff was very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.

I came in around 1am and the guy at the front desk was excellent. I was really tired and had drove a long distance. They made me feel like I was at home. I appreciate everything and I will be returning.

"A Great Best Western"

For a best Western stay, this one been the greatest stay. The breakfasts was great to. To make your own fresh waffles was a nice addition. Hear people complaining but there look for a five star hotel with front door service. Go serve your country in the Army or Marine's and you will see this was a 5 star breakfast. The employee Monserrvat was great. She ran the breakfast area all by herself and has the best customer service. Sad to see someone like her deal with customers who are just mad or nasty. Im glade there are people like her that don't change there service because people don't like them.

"Rooms stink of cigarettes"

Musky old cigarette smoke. Liking sleeping in an ashtray. If you like smoking then this is your place.Couldn't wait to get out of here. Needs to be professionally fumagated. We did not try the free breakfast. Travel over 30 nights a year, all we expect is clean and comfortable and reasonably priced.

Horrid experience. Entered the room, and it was 85 degrees in the room. A/C didn't work. Shower had two settings, OFF and Scalding. One of the sink faucets was inoperative. Front desk couldn't work the problems until the next day.

Worst BW ever. People outside drinking and playing lousmusclo. Seriously? The building needs badly needed renovation. Worst BW in my experience. Our room was feet away from the freeway. There's nothing separating it from some crazy driver.

Just average. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. Price was good. Room was a bit noisy. Had to jiggle toilet handle to stop water from running. Dog area was flooded. Breakfast was Standard (eggs, waffles, cereals, etc.)

The checked in after Dark and there was a slew of work trucks in the parking lot with workers hanging out by the door of their rooms. The parking lot was dark and I just didn't feel safe. I checked with the front desk to see if I could have a room on the second floor away from all the workers and was told no. The room door was missing the upper Safety Lock. The air conditioning was on continually but basically non-existent. The room was shabby but clean. I expected more from a Best Western. The motel is close to a real nice Deli grocery store with tons of great items to choose from. I will not come back to this Best Western again.

Very nice place, room was nice size and the double vanity was great for trying to get ready in the morning. Easy access to I80 and Napa Valley. We were here to bring my son his car, he's stationed at Travis AF Base and it was close to base. Very kind helpful staff.

"Whatever you do, AVOID this hotel"

I was in town for a family event and decided to stay at this hotel because most of the rest of my family was staying here too. I can say with 100% certainty that I will never stay at this hotel again. When I checked in the front desk clerk seemed to be confused about the check-in process, but eventually was able to figure it out. The quality of the room was poor and there were bugs in the sink, vanity areas, and throughout other areas of the room. To be clear, I didn't notice any bugs in the bed, but after seeing them everywhere else, I was a little skeptical about the bed. The air conditioner had a thick layer of dust on the vents and looked as though it hadn't been dusted in many weeks. The water pressure was terrible and while showering I kept having to kill bugs that were coming out of a crack in the bathtub. I also was able to close and lock the door, but you could see daylight all the way around and hear all the noises of the other guests. There was also debris on the carpet throughout the room. When I went to pack up, I grabbed the loofah my son used in the shower (which was still in the bathtub) and there were bugs all throughout it and some that fell out as I moved it. Obviously that loofah went into the trash. When I checked out, I let the front desk clerk know about the aforementioned things in my room. She said, "Oh, okay" and that was that. I let her know I was very dissatisfied with my stay and she said, "Oh, sorry." I left feeling frustrated and knowing I would never stay at this hotel again. I encourage anyone looking for a hotel to avoid this one.

Rooms are super clean thanks to a top notch house keeping team. I had a king single, bed super comfortable and my fav was the 5 FIVE! pillows. In room coffee, microwave, fridge, and iron/ironing board, not to mention cable TV. You won't find a friendlier more accommodating staff in town, trust me I've been to all of them. I've never rated a hotel higher than this one. Right off 80. Walking distance to good food and entertainment. Check it out. Talk to one of their eager to please concierges.

Stayed one night. Right off the I-80 so a little noisy. Luckily the bed was on the opposite side of the room, so it reduced the noise. Free parking and free breakfast. Clean & comfortable. Worth the price.

The reception was fairly good. We had a room away from the freeway so it was not too noisy. The room was ok but parking is a bit of a problem, small area and very tight spots away from room. The breakfast was nothing to write home about but ok, limited selection. In general the motel is kept ok but cramped into a tiny space. Next time I will look for something else.

"My stay at Best western Hampton inn"

My over all stay was wonderful. Lots of close restaurants with in walking distance. The bed was comfortable, staff was friendly and the breakfast was yummy. On a previous trip my mother in law stayed there,she left behind her pajama bottoms and when she called to inquire about them someone was supposed to get back with, but never did. I inquired upon checking in. By this time it was to late. My mother in law also stated that my aunt forgot to bring her coat from home and someone from the staff had given her one.

The hotel is located in the middle of everything... easily located to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Comfortable beds and fast WiFi. The hotel served a hot breakfast with lots of options for everyone to choose.

I had to travel to Fairfield for work for a few days. I normally book the BW in Cordellia, but they didn't have any room available, so I thought I would give this BW in Vacaville a try. I would have been more comfortable in my car. The woman who checked me in was nice and friendly, and that's where the positives end. The king bed was old, hard as a rock, and had indents so you knew which side of the bed people preferred. The door to my room shut, but you could see daylight all the way around it. The other hotel guests were up until all hours of the night banging and screaming, and no one from the BW staff said or did anything despite my noise complaints at 1 and 3 in the morning. Then there were ants waiting to bathe with me in the morning. Not a few mind you, but an entire colony. Needless to say, I passed. Breakfast was interesting because the items offered were limited to black coffee, eggs (they tasted like powder), bacon (if you can call it that), sausage, muffins, and juice. I had breakfast at Starbucks because their options were edible and I didn't feel like I might die after I ate there. In summary, I will never stay here again. I'll stay at a BW in Napa and drive the extra 12-15 miles.

We drove from Oakland to Vacaville and came in totally exhausted late. Got our room and sleep a good night sleep. Nice room, service minded staff and ok breakfast. Good value for the money! Fast wife and parking space for our car.

This is an older Best Western with limited parking and so/so breakfast. Some things in the room did not work-heater and TV. People are very nice however. There are better options in the area however this is a pretty good location.

Small property right off Hwy I-80. Clean rooms nicely decorated the Best Western standard. Great Breakfast Bar with lots off selections. Eggs, sausage, yogurt, breakfast burritos, Waffles and a selection of breads and danish. Carla at the Breakfast Bar gave us excellent service!

"Best Western Vacaville needs help"

Very poorly managed hotel in a busy touristy area. The room was moldy and smelly and the carpet had stains that were pretty disgusting. Our reservation was lost and the front desk could not reach a supervisor even up to the time of our departure the next day. The breakfast was biscuits and gravy and pastry. Both cold and stiff. Hotel was very hard to access from the main highway.

Went to San Francisco for the day on New Years Eve & then drove out after fireworks and stayed here when we got out of the city (and traffic!). I got in after 3:00 a.m. and had a problem w/ my booking I made on Hotels.com because of the time I arrived. The front desk receptionist, Clarence, was PHENOMENAL! I was so tired & he was so helpful! He got the situation all fixed & I was so impressed by how on-it he was for so early in the morning! Room was super clean and cozy, great breakfast (eggs, waffles, sausage, biscuits, granola bar w/ fruit toppings, bagels, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee...), and great staff! Recommendation: Book your room directly through BestWestern.com or by calling the hotel directly rather than using another website like Hotels.com (which I always use!). In this case, going through them is even cheaper!! Happy New Year!

It was a nice place to stay. For some reason the TV didn't turn on, but we were tired and the quiet was good, but the walls are a bit thin, so could here the people next to us talking, and typically could here the person/persons above us walking back and forth in the morning. No big deal, just an observation. The toilet was a bit touching draining occasionally, but we learned it was thought to have been fixed recently, so...? Otherwise all else was great!

Parking lousy, spaces are tight and I had to park across the parking lot. Not a long walk but I had to pass two spaces that were closer to my room because of larger vehicles taking up the space. My son had to carry Hockey equipment for tournament. It took 30 minutes to logon to the internet and the guests upstairs walked so hard that it was difficult to sleep.The checkout was a joke. I stood at the counter and had to yell hello to get someone to come from the backroom.

fishing bum visits Putah Creek frequently, needs a nice flop after a challenging day on the water, Vacaville BW fills the bill. Nice people, clean room with exactly the amenities I need (microwave, fridge), decent breakfast, and stores nearby having everything I want for a comfortable stay.

We stayed here before and were disappointed but said we will give it another try. Big mistake. Too many problems to make another stay. Difficult to get into the location, parking to close to rooms, and services were awful.

locked out of room, couldn't leave once got opened because couldn't guarantee the lock would reopen. Broke into room through window in 2 seconds, (wow security?) Not really compensated for the inconvenience. Poor customer service on manager's part. Onsite staff at least showed more compassion.

Stayed one night for a business trip. Staff was friendly, although the pool area could be better maintained. Overall stay was good and the area is safe. Room was clean and wifi worked. No complaints here. Would definitely stay here next time!

Road noise is unacceptable level. Back of the hotel is the freeway. The Front of the hotel is the main road to town. Room's windows are single pane not able to isolate the noise. Could not slept through the night. Hot breakfast is available, but quality is not great

From so cal to nor cal me my wife and 3kids were tired looking for a hotel called best western was told the had nothing available besides a single room with a king size bed if it was ok with me it was ok with them.... of course I am ok with that after a long drive we were tired. The room had a. Backed up toilet and a smell??? An employee plunged it then said the room was too small for my family after they are the ones who offered it to us??? What the..... rudeness

"Pet friendly Great Location"

We were evacuated from our home due to the fires in Northern California and we have pet dogs. Best Western Heritage Inn not only welcomed us and our pets, they even gave us a reduced rate because we were evacuees. Other hotels in the area were price gouging! Our tv didn't work the first night so they reduced our rate even more and then had a repairman come the next morning to fix it! The staff at the hotel were friendly and did all that they could to help us and made sure we had everything we wanted for breakfast. It is a great location very close to restaurants and shopping. The hotel was sold out and parking was a little tight but we have no complaints and appreciate their generosity and caring for our situation.

Main problem here is that the hotel is a couple of yards from the freeway. Our room was very noisy due to that. Breakfast is included, and actually quite good - with Belgian waffles you can make yourself, eggs, sausages and even non-gluten choices.

I found this hotel to be a great value for the money. My room was spacious and clean and the staff was very friendly and professional. The A/C unit worked very well and was also very quiet. I would stay at this establishment again.

"Not bad for last min stay near the Vacaville Outlet Malls"

This was stay booked at the last minute. Handy location, very nice staff and excellent room. Room was very large, clean and comfy. Loved that it had frig, microwave, coffee maker and 2 sinks w/provided hairdryer. Very handy for shopping at the outlet malls in Vacaville. The only downside was the noise on 2 fronts: the walls were so thin I could hear my neighbors chatting (they were not that loud) and people in the room above walking around. Location turned out to be noisy due busy street with most noise in my room (123- lower level) coming from the bathroom side (I closed the bathroom door wasn't bad). The TV didn't work - could only get the preview channel - but then I was only there one night. There as an ice machine and nice little pool but didn't check these out. Also provided breakfast -- good selection overall. I noted the pan of scrambled eggs were hard and lukewarm at best (blah!).

Adequate room for a night. Dog friendly. Some unsavory looking young men hanging about but no problems. Breakfast is what you'd expect. No big glaring negatives. Would stay again although it was a bit pricey for what it was.

"Terribly disappointed"

Was looking forward to another good, reliable experience with Travel Advisor and Best Western for last minute business travel. What a disaster! My reservation was transferred to a service called Getaroom. When I arrived to check in the front desk clerk could not check me in because of a supposed glitch in the system with a discrepancy on tax rate and room rate to Best Western. Not my problem, the reservation confirmation email said PAID IN FULL to my credit card. Over 35 minutes on hold with getaroom and unable to get an answer. I got a key to a room while she was still On hold but it was still being cleaned. Jeeez back to the lobby, still no resolution. I gave up and left to go home. A paid nights stay for nothing!!!

All staff was very friendly! Made my stay feel Like I was at home. The rooms were very clean and updated. Staff was always very attentive when requesting something and breakfast was very good. I defenetly will be back!

Less than awesome motel with parking lot pool and plenty of highway noise. Room was comfortable and staff was alright. Breakfast wasn't great but better than nothing. There's plenty of other hotels in the general area and it's probably worth checking out the others to see if they're any better.

Easy to find and easy access to downtown and many places to eat and shop! It's a great place to stay. Well kept and friendly staff. Although there was no one there when I went to check out, a nice lady helped me and even gave me a great tip on where to grab some breakfast! Thanks!

Had everything we needed and we were comfortable. The gentleman who checked us in went above abd beyond to accommodate our needs. We especially enjoyed the pool and the A/C in the room. More tv channels would have been nice. Would stay again.

The suite had a bedroom that was unusable because the air conditioning would not circulate air into it. The air conditioner was inadequate for the main room with the bedroom and bathroom closed off, The motel is very plain, more akin to a Motel 6.

We got in the hotel staff was nice and great to work with. However the hotel quality was lacking. There needs to be better house cleaning. In our first room it had dirty foot prints on the bathroom floor and pubic hair in bath tube. Staff offered an up grade. After a quick look we thought the up graded room would be ok. Then we started looking closer and got grossed out. Dirt possible blood ants and another bug in the sink. Dirty lamp shades. Hotel staff worked with us and refunded. If you are not picky you may be ok as I said the staff was nice. It was just not up to my standards.

Nothing bad to say. Nice girls at the front desk, although they didn't smile a bunch. Very helpful when I couldn't figure out the coffee maker, or just needed towels. They were very accommodating. The rooms were updated, but it's almost like they forgot to update the bathrooms. We will definitely stay again.

We had stayed in this hotel a few times before as it was convenient for our purposes. This time we were surprised to find that there had been a complete upgrade, new paint, new rugs, new comfortable bed and new fluffy towels. We would be happy to stay here again.

This facility has wonderful staff and pleasant to work with. The offerings are good as well as the facilities available to the guests ie pool, breakfast. An ideal location for several area activities. I have continued to enjoy the facility for my local get away place and have had family members appreciate the hotel as well. Suggest staying there as a great stop off to the Vacaville Sacramento Vallejo area.

Older, run down property. Very little parking. Check-In and Check-Out staff seemed "out of it." Not much of a breakfast. A portion of the shower head fell off the first time I used the shower. In need of upgrading.

"Worst Room I've ever been in!"

I reserved this hotel weeks in advance. When I arrived after driving 12 hours, I was told the specific room I had requested (3 queens) had been given to someone else. "Would I like to cancel?" Having just driven all day I asked for the next best thing & was assigned room 245 with 2 queens and what looked like a twin bed. Considering I had a party of 5, that could work. I took my luggage up to the room - past the many smoking guests in the stairwells and parking lot (so much for a non-smoking hotel). After about 5 minutes of walking around the room with shoes off, our feet were black as coal! Have they ever cleaned the carpet?!? It got worse, the microwave and mini fridge were from what appeared to be the early 1980's. The chair at the desk was broken and could not be adjusted - a big issue for my husband since he brought work with him and needed a desk. I went to use the bathroom and there were dozens of ants everywhere! I'm talking in the shower, crawling on all the towels , up the walls, all over the vanities...it was disgusting! I then hopped on my cc account to check my available credit - they pre-authorized the full amount of my 3 night stay + their incidental amount of about $100 which is pretty standard. Only problem is they pre-authorized my card TWICE (tying up an additional $500+ in credit, which I certainly don't appreciate while traveling. My credit card company had to call BW and straighten it all out). At that point I headed to the office to let them know I certainly did not intend to stay in their hotel. They then told me they could fumigate the room the following morning if I'd like to move my reservation by a day and check-in again tomorrow at which point they'd need to pre-authorize my card AGAIN! UM, NO! They already had over $500 held for a reservation I no longer wanted nor intended to use. Kayla (the front desk attendant) was very nice and tried to help me the best she could for it being about 11 o'clock at night by that point. In the end, she canceled my reservation without penalty. I went back to the room and as I was figuring out where I could go - with my 3 kids - somone's car alarm goes off in the parking lot to which no one responded for at least 20 minutes...it woke my kids as they had started to drift off to sleep while I was trying to sort things out. Thankfully it wasn't my car & I was able to find another hotel closer into my destination. This was the grossest motel room I have ever booked & I've stayed in some cheap local places...the only good thing about this place was Kayla's attempts to help me in the midst of a really bad situation.

I enjoyed the great customer service I was given by the front desk person. The room was clean and smelled good, bed was comfortable. The location could be little better just in terms of hard to find off the street really have to be looking for the place to find it.

Stayed few times in this hotel, since many hotels in Davis booked far in advance for UC Davis picnic day. 20 min drive to UC Davis. Nice hotel, as many Best Western hotels. Easy parking and internet, nice breakfast.

We stayed 3 days & nites. It is a smaller motel but the staff is friendly & helpful. They gave us fresh towels each day as we did not need to have them clean the room each day. The maids were very friendly & did their best to please us.

"Good for an in and out"

This place was ok for a BW. The rooms and building it's self is in need of some updating. The Breakfast was greats, but there was only one waffle maker and it took forever to get the all five of us a waffle to eat. The staff are rockstars and will take good care of you!

"Probably my worst BW experience to date"

Because I travel with my dog, I am a regular BW customer. This was my first time at this hotel; other area hotels were booked. I will never go back. First of all, it's a concrete jungle on a busy road next to an outlet mall; there are no good places to walk or potty your dog. Not the hotel's fault. Inside the room: both the deadbolt and the security lock were broken, which made me nervous. I slept with a chair in front of the door. The shower had ancient plumbing that moved behind the wall when you pulled on the handle, and it was nearly impossible to turn on. There was no shower curtain, so the floor got flooded. No wonder it was warped. And no wonder there was no shower curtain--the shower curtain rod was pulling out of the wall. An all-around stressful, unpleasant experience.

I traveled to Vacaville for a Women's Meeting at a local church. Several women come a day early for meetings and fun! The hotel was chosen by the host church because of the price level and how close it is to the event. The hotel is older, but our room was clean and roomy. Staff made check in quick and easy. Lots of restaurants nearby. The freeway backs right up to the hotel, and there was a huge sports event in town with rooms full of young men....Surprisingly the place wasn't all that noisy. Yes, I heard the traffic and some people having fun, but I was to busy enjoying myself to worry about it.

This is a clean and comfortable motel. Close to many shopping places, and centrally located. You won't be disappointed in this Best Western motel. The staff was helpful, rooms clean, noise level at a minimum. My choice in motels when I travel to central California.

for an older hotel the grounds and the hotel itself are fairly well kept up.realize the cost is high, but wish the pool was heated. looked so inviting. the breakfast was a surprise with strawberry waffles and the bw local in the center within a heart. the breakfast service was great and very clean.

Great location, very convenient The bed was super comfortable The breakfast was delicious. The waffles were amazing. They use Golden Malted waffle. The new waffles have a BW logo designed inside the waffle plate. So, when the waffle is made, it says BW. great idea, very delicious. "Not a 100% non-smoking hotel"

We've checked in the hotel for a non-smoking room, was able to rest until the guest from the room next door came out to the balcony to smoke. Out room was full of cigarette smoke around 7PM, we've asked the guest to please move further away, but the smoke still got in to our room. We've called the front desk to ask if they could help, but they said that their guests are allowed to smoke on the balcony. We've given up & moved out of our room around 9:30PM to go to another 100% non-smoking hotel. The front desk didn't agree to refund us for the night and told us that the Manager will call us the next morning to discuss. But all we got was a "automatic" email telling us that the Manager regrets that the hotel did not meet our expectation!!!!

"Better than Expected"

While the parking area is surprisingly smaller than expected .. The room size makes up for it. We ended up here, due to an unexpected family situation, but was not disappointed. Having already driven half the day, The spacious room was a nice surprise. The employee "Stephanie" was found to be, very professional, patient and compassionate when it came to handling an unusual situation, related to an unknown person on the property, who was not a registered guest. The area was also very quiet, just a short walk to The NUT TREE. Easy access on and off of US 80.

Shabby at best. Blanket smelled like somebody else. Outdated. Wouldn't stay again at any price. They really should tear the place down and build a new hotel. Will be extremely cautious about staying at any Best Western in the future. Not a pleasant experience.

This is a clean friendly Inn with all of the amenities that you need. This includes wifi, mini fridge, microwave, a pool and they even provide a free breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located right off the freeway as well. Above all, it's a clean and quite place to stay and get a good nights rest.

"Motel needs a facelift and more parking."

We stayed at a typical BW motel, our usual choice, but were disappointed by this location. Not enough parking, no elevator to the second floor, and overall the motel looks tired. Rooms were spartan but adequate, breakfast was the standard BW 'breakfast lite', staff was friendly. Good access to local businesses and the freeway.

The hotel was very clean, easy to find and centrally located. Kim at the front desk and all the other desk staff members whose names I didn't get were professional and attentive to the guests and to the lobby and breakfast area. Housekeeping did a great job, too, especially considering how large the rooms are, complete with microwave and not-so-mini refrigerator! We WILL be back to this Best Western Inn again!

This hotel was among the cheapest in the area with acceptable ratings. It was not fancy, but was comfortable for a couple of nights. A little noisy from the parking lot. all-in-all it was good for passing through.

I wasn't expecting much when I pulled up and saw that it had more of a "motel" look but the room was clean, and staff friendly. The only negatives were noisy neighbours (who needs a television on that loud?), noisy air conditioning that blows freezing air right at the bed no matter which way the air deflectors are set, inconsiderate people at the breakfast area (taking up valuable chair space for a purse, and leaving wet seats behind) and finally, the hedge out front creates a bit of an obstruction to view traffic coming as you want to leave the hotel - especially if you're in a smaller car. Perhaps if it were a little shorter..... Despite this, I'd stay there again... and just might as I'm already planning my next trip to California ;-)

I took my teenage sons for a shopping weekend and just needed someplace to sleep near the outlets, I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience-friendly staff, clean and comfy rooms, breakfast. I find myself wanting to go back to Vacaville just to stay again! My only issue was the receipt was much cheaper than I paid through Priceline, but thats a priceline issue, I will directly book next time!

The decoration of guest room from recently renovation is making the room very bright and comfortable ( especially with more lights, mirrors(3), sinks (2) that made room very convenient and enjoyfull ! The price in summer is very good with full breakfast. It is recommended for guests coming to Vacaville.

We had a very nice stay. the rooms were nice and clean. there was redecorating with some of the rooms. The outside was clean and neat. The staff was pleasant and assisted my family when needed. The Hotel was near the outlet mall. It was also near all kinds of restaurants. We even went to a nearby bowling .

Normally Best Westerns are a very good choice, but this one was having some remodeling done and the quality of the work was below average. Because of the remodel the first room we were given was not completed and we had to be moved which took a very long time.

Needed a place to stay for a week while we found a permanent place to live. We often stay at a BW because we have found that for the price the value is good. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy and though it is close to the freeway the noise is not too bad. Really hot here and we had to run the AC almost all the time! That drowns out a lot of other noises. The pool was clean and helped keep us cool. Internet worked well, which was important! The breakfast offered a lot of variety and saved us some money! A hot breakfast is a good start to your day! The manager, Kimberley really went the extra mile taking care of a couple of problems we had during our stay. The AC unit had a problem, and she had her crew switch it out for a new one in a matter of minutes! We would also like to compliment Coral at check-in for being helpful and cheery! Made us feel welcome! Canyon and Lydia are great too. During our relocation the crew here at this BW really made our stay a great one!

Best place we've stayed in a very long time. Best sleep i've had in a motel/hotel. At this time I don't think we will be staying anywhere but Best Western. We do a lot of traveling and this was my first time at BW. I just hope all BWs are of the same quality as the one in Vacaville California.

So-so room, many lights not working. Management/staffing poor...it took 20 minutes to check in eventhough we were pre-paid. Breakfast so understaffed that we had to wait for food, utensils and coffee.

The only thing I could think of that would have made it completely perfect is if the 2nd room had ventilation. If you close the door prepare for a sauna. The breakfast was great and the staff were awesome!

I stay at hotels around the world EVERY month for work. This was a personal trip, and the location was good for me, so I booked it. I KNOW from experience, "sometimes" Best Western's (in the US at least) are a crap shoot. Overseas they are usually SPECTACULAR. That having been said, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!!!!!! The rooms are updated, clean, MODERN and the property is VERY conveniently located to local restaurants as well as freeways. The front desk person JESSIE was just AWESOME, and the room cleaning staff were soooo friendly and helpful. I was shocked I didn't have to pay a Pet Deposit for my little "boy".....(even though he is the most well-behaved puppy in the world).........just my humble opinion. I willbe going back to Vacaville again, and as a Best Western Rewards member, I will have absolutely NO hesitation to book this property again. Thank you BEST WESTERN HERITAGE INN Vacaville for restoring my faith in your US properties! Now, if we could only CLONE you elsewhere in the USA!!!! My Vote: 10 STARS!!! Thank You. Also room prices where more than when reservations were made. Since this was a family graduation and other family members were staying in this location, we made the decision to pay the higher prices. A small refund or a free night would make up for this issue.

This hotel is very convenient, clean and friendly. The rooms are finished tastefully and have all the features that to make it a comfortable stay. I like the fact that they all have microwaves and mini fridges, as well as a coffee maker.

Terrible service in the bfst area, no one overlooking the operation no hot food avail for the bfst time(which was to be 7am) and still no items @7;30 am, some guests hogging the area and making multiple plates up for others, took all the fruit and ran out of items. Thought perhaps the hotel might have discounted our bill but no such thing. The room was quiet and comfortable but that was it!

I usually don't comment on the front desk service but I will in this case. I checked in with a bad cold and I really appreciated how nice and friendly the people at the front desk were. They turned a miserable day into a pleasant one. The room was nice and I'd stay here again, but there are a few issues. The a/c wall unit is too loud to leave on all night (room 101 iirc). Parking is tight so that will be an issue also if you have an oversized vehicle. I thought the breakfast was fine, scrambled eggs and hot sausages, and I enjoyed it. The location is very good being next to an I-80 freeway exit. Rooms are quiet though. There are numerous restaurant choices nearby – mostly chain restaurants – but these include In-and-Out Burger, which this California visitor appreciated it very much. :)

1. The phone was unplugged and the other cord wasn't visible to plug back in so we had no phone to use. 2. There were only 2 towels for 3 of us. Upon asking about this the front desk said we only ever stock 2 no matter the occupancy for the room. 3. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The eggs were inedible. 4. There wasn't a room binder guide to the hotel or area. That is something I always browse through. 5. There were no extra blankets in the room so I was cold all night because... 6. The heater was so loud we had to turn it off. Stay anywhere else...never again. I expect more from this brand of hotels. Lydia at the front desk was nice.

This is not a high-end hotel, but if you're not looking for bells and whistles, it's a good hotel for the price. Our room was not ready at the 2pm check-in time. I was told someone would call me when the room was ready but I still had not received a call by 4pm. The door for room #117 will only close if you slam it, a window screen was hanging off its frame, and the shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall. But it was bug-free, clean, and offered a decent selection at breakfast. All the hotel employees we encountered were friendly and ready with a smile.

This place has a good location. It is close to all your needs such as gas, food, and the highway. If you are looking for the manager, good luck to you. You will have to go on a scavenger hunt to find her. I don't think any customer should have to chase the manager down, especially if the customer is right. If all you want is value and convenience, this is the place. If you want a better experience, go somewhere else. I have been to a lot of Best Westerns and I will not be coming back to this one.

We were driving through from Redding to SF and decided to stop for a night in Vacaville upon chancing on Heritage Inn. As a BW member, this stay did not disappoint! Terrific value. Even as its exterior may appear like an older inn, however, the room we had was perfectly well-refurbished, modern, clean and spacious! The lobby was very inviting too. Unbeatable location, right off the highway and plenty of food establishments around.

Vacaville Best Western hotel is nice and clean, 15 min from UC Davis, great value and staff. I visited my daughter for the Picnic day, and very happy was able to make reservation to this hotel, stayed twice here already. Vacaville is a nice town for dining also.

The hotel was in process of getting a facelift & from work that was already done its gonna look great. Staff were very helpful and friendly, especially receptionist who assisted with printing my flight boarding pass when my tablet wasn't playing nice. Good choice of breakfast options. This hostelry is very clean and comfortable. It is also very convenient---easy on/off US 80. The staff are p[olite, but friendly and very attentive. I often travel with my family, including children age 17, 15, 4 and 18 months. We are comfortable at this BW and I am getting a GREAT deal, considering that the breakfast is free!

"NV Grandparents Vacaville visit"

We have grandchildren in Vacaville and visit once every three months. The weather was bad, it rained each day and the travel back to Nevada was bad as we drove through wind and snow conditions. The hotel was ample, several deep puddles and the place was going through upgrades to the tile exterior. I imagine it will look just wonderful when it is complete.

OLD Hotel poor condition, pool not inviting, needs new furniture, carpeting and decor. Bathroom was in poor condition no hot water just warm. Air conditioning unit unbelievably noisy. Parking lot small. In general very noisy most of the time but even late night. GREAT LOCATION

a lot of restaurants nearby to choose, there is a panada express next to the motel which opens late at night, (if you don't mind greasy chinese food) if driving to SF via bay bridge, try to avoid morming rush hours, it could take you hours to get through

We always stay at Best Westerns in our travels This was the worst. Mold in shower, loud construction work in front of room, weak, watery coffee pods provided in room, no wake up calls when requested (twice!). Poor. Poor. Even the young staff seemed to want to chat more than they wanted to work. What a shame to have such a reflection on the Best Western name. We certainly will not be staying here again.

Needed a good cheap hotel traveling through towards sanfransisco and was very disappointed. Best westerns always are at least clean. This room had stained walls, ceiling, floor, towels, curtain for the balcony. Very noisy due to traffic so close which is understandable however the room condition was horrible. There were chunks of brown things on the floor... looked like old food or animal feces. Slept on the covers with all our clothes on and ear plugs to block out the noise. The room was non smoking and smelled like it was a smoking room instead. Not a hotel we will ever go back to and now very dissatisfied with Best Western.

Our stay was a good experience. As close as this motel was to the highway it was very quiet. The facility is an old one, but, has been tastefully re done. I was not satisfied with the bed, it was too hard, however my wife said it was just fine for her. I would recommend this motel.

Staff was busy, but professional and got my room assigned quickly. Room was large, 2nd floor with a balcony, outside stairs to the 2nd floor. Bed average comfort, plenty of lighting throughout the rooms with TV/micro-fridge/coffee maker in the main room. Parking for full size trucks limited though and entrance to the driveway a little tricky @ night if you don't catch it quickly. Guess the pet walking section is towards the back area at a rocked lot but was maintained well. Restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast was a little late out with a limited selection.

The motel was easy to find. Lots of eating places near by. They accept pets for only $20.00.The room was large. It was easy to set up our pet crate and still have lots of room for us. The pets were happy too. We plan to come back to spend more time in the area for pleasure and for future business trips. It was winter so did not use the pool. The pool was small but could get wet and play in it. The breakfast was ok. The people were pleasant and would spend time talking with you.

Another reviewer mentions hookers at the hotel...so that explains why some scuzzbag approached me in the parking lot! The staff was extremely nice ant the room was great for the price. BUT I had just lost my home and all personal possessions in the Valley Fire. It was extremely sad that makeup and clothes went missing after housekeeping went through. We tipped the maids generously each morning, but evidently this wasn't enough.

There are hookers working out of this hotel. They are very discreet. The hotel is undergoing extensive remodeling and painting. They stopped work about 5 o'clock so it was quiet in the evening. Beds were comfortable. Location next to Interstate 80 meant there was traffic noise most of the night but the comfortable bed made it easy to get to sleep. For $67 per night the room was a great value. Good refrigerator in room.

"Better than expected"

We needed a bed for the night at short notice, for one night in Vacaville and settled on this hotel, as it was easy access from the freeway. It was only after we checked in and were walking to the room across the car parking area that the traffic noise from the freeway hit us. Well, no need to worry, when we got in the room, we couldn't hear it from the bed, only when we went into the bathroom could you barely hear it. The room was bigger than I expected, the beds were comfortable. The only problem was the heater, it was a very cold night and even with the heater turned up to 80 degress, it still wasn't heating the room, fortunately there was plenty of blankets. The free breakfast was good, with scrambled eggs, sausage, freshly made waffles, toast. cereal etc. Overall a very good deal.

Very spacious hotel room and stayed for one night. Stay was fine and enjoyed the typical breakfast. Recently remodelled the hotel. Giving rating only four due to these: 1. Balcony was not very clean 2. Bed was not very comfortable. 3. Remodel of the bathroom was not done neatly; still some area rust can be seen and bathroom flooring was not done correctly.

Went to Vacaville for a funeral. This location was very convenient to all places I had to go. Prices were reasonable, they allow smoking, rooms very clean and a great breakfast. The place is older, but sometimes older is better quality.

This motel is in a very convenient location to the freeway, shopping and restaurants. Although this was our 2nd stay here this visit was very noisy with people walking overhead and people coming and going outside. I am a faithful BW customer with a diamond status. Next time I will stay at a different facility and forego the points.

Peeling paint, shower knob broken off, dirty floors, strong smoke odor in 'non smoking' room, plastic bag tied over smoke detector, hypodermic needle cap on floor in bathroom... just so scary and gross. Definitely the worst Best Western experience ever. We rented a three room suite for our family. I was amazed by the price until I got there... then it all made sense. Raise the rates a little so you can afford to fix your rooms. NASTY.

Old motel, but, was very tastefully redone. The room was very clean, and the furnishings were very nice. We were a little concerned because this was close to the highway, but, it was VERY quiet. The beds were comfortable and all amenities were in working order. We had to leave early in the morning before breakfast was due to be ready the staff made sure it was ready by 5:30 for us. Great place to stay!

"Clean Basic Room - But needs updating."

The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The bathroom looked like it had been recently updated but on the cheap. The faucet was very difficult to pull out to get the shower to work. The outside is outdated but ok. Parking is limited when filled to capacity. When I arrived late after a concert, the only spot left was handicapped. I pointed this out to the front desk and they said just park in one of the handicapped and not to worry about getting towed. It worked out because I didn't get towed but I was a little nervous about it. Warm breakfast is basic (fake eggs and limp bacon along with continental) but ok as a small meal. 24/7 coffee flavor was good (better than most others).

A good value. Hotel needs to be updated and SOUNDPROOFED as it backs onto freeway. Walls and ceiling very thin!! Staff were very helpful and friendly with an excellent breakfast. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
