We stayed in a king mini/suite. The room was quiet and very clean and the bed was comfortable. But the chair and sofa /sectional were worn and stained. And there was no bedding for the sofa bed. The indoor pool area was clean, but the small pool was very cold so not enjoyable.
We moved here after having a bad experience at a different local Best Western. The rooms were clean & everything was good here. The price was fair. Indoor pool was clean & the breakfast was good. We would stay here again if we travel to Tulsa. They gave us early check in since we had to leave our other hotel at 9 am. That was very helpful in our situation.
The Best Western Plus Tulsa Inn & Suites is not in a bad location. Very close to the turnpike and relatively close to a couple of sit-down restaurants (Craker Barrel & IHOP). There are at least six other hotels in the same area, kind of a hotel row if you will. Easy to get to and easier to get away. One other thing to note, apparently it is under the flight path of jets taking off from the local airport. Parking is not the best. A small number of spots in front, near the main entrance. Most are at the rear. Check-in was fine. Quick & easy. However, the elevator was an adventure. Door takes forever to close and one time it even sounded the alarm while closing on its own. I pity anyone with a room next to that thing. Upon entering the room, it seems clean and well furnished. However, the chair at the workstation is too short for the desk. Unless you are 6'6" with a long waist, you have to reach up to work on your laptop or tablet. Not very comfortable. However, the bathroom was disgusting. Mold on the lower wall right by the tub as well as all over the shower curtain. I have to question the thought process of having a curtain this bad still hanging in one of the rooms. It makes you wonder what else isn't being cleaned properly. With that in mind, needless to say I choose not to partake in their breakfast. Overall, will not stay here again. Too many other options available in the same area.
We stayed at this hotel from May 30 to June 1 in room 323. The noise from the I-44 is clearly audible. Light sleepers should take this into account. The WiFi quality is good. Breakfast includes cereal, farm-raised yoghurt, hot items and waffles. The buffet is constantly replenished.
I should have seen the red flag when I booked this motel over the phone. The Best Western reservations person assured me I was getting the best rate. However, when I got off the phone, I checked on line and found the same room for $25 less. So I had to go to the trouble to cancel my first booking and re-book on my own for the lower price. When I went up to the room, I could immediately hear highway traffic through the windows. I went back to the front desk to try and move to a quieter room, but was told all rooms were full for that day. This was at 5 pm, so it seems a bit hard to believe that everyone had already arrived and that she couldn't switch me to a different room on the quiet side of the building. When I got ready to shower, the on-off handle and heat level handles were very difficult to operate. Never had seen a set-up like that in any other hotel. The next morning, the alarm clock went off at 6 am, about 2 hours earlier than I wanted. I couldn't figure out how to shut it off, so I had to unplug it from the wall. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets and comforter were too small for the queen bed, so they wouldn't stay tucked in and kept sliding off during the night. The beds also slope to the sides, so you have to stay towards the middle of the bed to avoid sliding off. The breakfast was the one positive, as they had plenty of hot and cold options that were all good.
Clean and modern property. Great coffee and hot breakfast. Comfortable room. Well lit at night. Joined their rewards program for discounts.
On check in the staff weren't exactly overly welcoming. Room appeared ok at first. Have to be careful of the metal bed frames that stick out. We went for a swim - the water was freezing! We stayed in for as long as we could but our little boy was shivering so much. I was a bit disappointed to see there was no hairdryer in the room. At breakfast I noticed a sign that said they had gluten free and dairy options. I asked a member of staff about GF and she just looked at me blankly and said no. Either they didn't have it or the woman just had no clue/didn't care. Why advertise it?
My checking to this hotel was very frustrating! They didn't have my reservation & when I provided my confirmation number, that wasn't enough! The hotel did not look like the picture on the internet! I never could get internet to work! I was not satisfied & will not stay here again!
The Night Clerk was amazing and the room was nice and large. It was clean and well priced. That Said, the morning clerk was terrible!! She made it apparent she didn't want to be bother by the guests. I had to make all kinds of noise standing in front of her and with A Huge Sigh, she finally looked up. no smile, no greeting, just stared at me. Breakfast was not good either. To qualify out of 6 weeks of travel, this is only the 2nd bad review of the personel.
Nice hotel for the price. The hotel is close to I-44 and the fairgrounds. It was clean and quiet. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. Check in and check out were easy and the staff was very friendly. We will stay there again if we're in Tulsa.
It's said that sometimes it's the little things that can make or break an experience. This was not horrible. But it was not the top tier level of quality I have experienced from other BW stays. Food was hot and fresh. It was quiet in room. Staff were friendly and sincere. Shower was hot. The things that stood out. Broken coffee machine in room. Shower head sputtered and spit while no engaged and made a decent mess. Breakfast coffe in dining area was rather bitter and lacking. All else was fine and staff was friendly.
We visit Tulsa every year and normally stay further south at a different hotel chain, but this year, based on reviews, we decided to stay closer to our relatives' house and try this BW Plus. Hotel was recently renovated in my eyes, so carpet and painting were fresh. It was easy to get to with GPS, in a cluster of several hotels with many restaurant choices close by. The water was hot, lighting in the room was fine, and there were many places to put our stuff so it stayed off the floor. Note, the room was uncarpeted which was a bit of a surprise, but the room stayed warm, even when barefoot. It was very clean. Breakfast was decent, nothing out of the ordinary except the orange juice was better than expected, and the staff seemed on top of things. There was a BMX event so there were some families with BMX-garbed kids and several bikes around, but everyone was well-behaved. The coffee quality needed improvement in both the room and at breakfast.
The hotel was beautiful, peaceful and calm. The room was spacious and super tidy. The restroom was clean. The bed linens were crisp and clean but towels looked a little worn out. Very comfortable stay altogether.
this is the only place i stay when im traveling to tulsa oklahoma i am very pleased with the front desk and that make this hotel work . as a guest it suites me well . the mini suites are great for relaxing after your events that day.
My daughter had a red eye flight out of Tulsa so we needed somewhere close to the airport. The hotel staff was very nice and attentive. The breakfast area was clean and fully stocked. The carpet in our hallway was ripped up to lay new flooring so I think it is in the process of being remodeled. Our room looked as if it had just been remodeled. Loved the shower pressure.
The Hotel itself is good. After riding a Harley all day we welcomed the fact that the hotel had a laundry for us to use. Approached the front desk to be told they would not give us the required money to use it. At the least I would expect a money change machine that could be accessed. A little disappointing.
Overall it was wonderful. Bed was nice and comfy. Breakfast the next morning was really good. Staff was wonderful and very helpful with everything. The coffee machine was really good had different options of coffee in it or hot chocolate. Will definitely go back
The property was nice (though currently under renovation). The website says "No pets allowed", but the property management says it is "pet friendly". Good if you have pets, but not if you have allergies or dislike being awakened by barking at 5 a.m.
I was very leary to stay because of the reviews but trusted the Best Western PLUS name brand. It was a Brand new renovation almost complete. Entrance was nice, BUT had an old musty smell (like it was still the older version). Our room (217) was new. WE only had a few issues. The bed frames are rounded metal and stuck out enough for our Toddler to bump into them regularly, almost like the mattresses were too small for the frame. The toilet ran all night and the faucet squirted oddly. Bed was firm, but not too firm. One headboard was hung on the wall crooked lol. Not quality, but clean. I want to clearly say that The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was a full hot meal which was a nice surprise. Scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy, and a waffle maker. They had yogurt and hard-boiled eggs also. Real butter, and half-and-half, was the cherry on top!
We stayed here to avoid an ice storm between MO and OK. The room was fine, but upon departure and arrival, the luggage cart was one very broken cart that had to be shared between all guests. If a guest kept it in their room ( which happened) the desk staff could not find it.
Though there was a mix up with our reservation, the front desk person fixed it immediately. He apologized for the mix up. He was professional, kind and patient. Our stay was very pleasant. I will definitely stay at Best Western again.
Great value stay for the time of year I visited Tulsa. The mattresses were very comfortable and noticably new. Pleny of space for stashing items, a nice big bathroom (I stay in an accessible room) with nice lighting. I liked having plenty of pace to spread out for the weekend.
Nice hotel. Rooms were clean and ready but no extra bedding for the pull out bed. We made due but could have asked for more. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was warm and had a variety. Pool was nice with the seating area warm.
Four seniors traveling Route 66 stopped here for the night. A very nice hotel, with a very good breakfast (:standard fare, eggs, bacon, sausage and gravy, bagels, cereal,etc.). One minor complaint: I requested first floor rooms (as we are seniors), booked the room in June, and got third floor rooms. Now there is an elevator so we didn't have to lug our luggage upstairs as we have had to do with some hotels. But it would have made it easier for us on the first floor (I request this from every hotel, and they generally always give it too us). Otherwise, a very nice Best Western.
We'd booked a mini suite as we were staying for 4 nights but on checking in we were given a regular room. After a long chat with the receptionist and a look at their website, she graciously agreed to “upgrade us” to the room we'd booked in the first place! The mini suite was fine. Motel had very small pool, good laundry facilities, very weak wi-fi which worked only downstairs in the lobby, usual plastic breakfast though for once the coffee was good. Key issue was with the manager, Nila Patel. On the second evening we complained at reception about a massive truck parked right outside our window with very loud refrigeration on at top decibel. We bumped into the obnoxious driver who said he knew the manager, she let him park there rather than at a truck stop and he didn't care who he disturbed. The car park was massive and half empty so he could have moved away a good distance but refused. We hardly slept until he left the next morning. For the next 2 days the various wonderful receptionists tried in vain to get the manager to actually be at the hotel she manages and talk to us about this at a convenient time for us, her guests. However, she's very clever with the times she's on site, arriving 11ish when everyone has either checked out or gone for the day, then leaving by 3 before anyone arrives. This is because she apparently 'manages' another hotel too; lucky them if she's there when guests are! We left her a handwritten letter as we were happy to hear in writing but she didn't have the courtesy to reply. Her business cards were on reception (no idea why!) so we emailed her with our complaint, and she ignored that too. She finally replied to our travel agent over a month later when she was put under pressure to do so. Her answer was anodyne and didn't address any of our three specific questions. Looking forward to her bland response on here, promising that “Your satisfaction is important to us and we will be using the feedback you gave us to implement improvements to ensure we offer a better experience for guests in the future.” or maybe “Your concerns were taken seriously and its under considerations.” (whatever that means!).
I was here on business. The location is off a major highway, in a complex of hotels. There are two restaurants and a fast food place within waking distance. Other services are lacking in the area, and determined walkers will notice the lack of sidewalk. Memorial Blvd is nearby, but this stretch is between highway interchanges, so services are still lacking for the idle pedestrian or someone stocking a hotel room fridge while on foot. My room was on the first floor near housekeeping. The staff were very nice, in all the roles. My room was quiet, I rarely heard door slamming or voices in the hallway. I will consider staying here again just for that. The room had fridge and microwave, plenty of outlets, and a tub. The water pressure was good. I didn't use the pool, but it was popular. Vending machines on site catered to snacks and Pepsi products. They were doing daily housekeeping. Breakfast varied daily, tending to scrambled eggishness, with some kind of meat, biscuits and gravy, waffles on demand. One day had a potato sausage medley. The fitness center featured one treadmill and two seated machines. No water in the cooler, however, but the sanitizing wipes were abundant, and handy, since I forgot to bring any for my check-in ritual. I think the hotel is pet friendly, as I saw dogs brought in, and a cat in a window. My room had an odor of "feet" if I only used the a/c fan, which I attributed to invisible pet accidents, but who knows.
We can always count on BW stay for comfortable beds, clean rooms, breakfast and friendly staff. Our stay did not disappoint! The kids loved having the pool. We adults enjoyed having a gathering area of the lobby to enjoy pizza. An excellent stay.
Older hotel, needs updating. Musty smell to the rooms, outdated decor, carpets could use cleaning. No bottled waters available and No change for the laundry. No safe in the room for valuables or anywhere on premises. Our first night we had strange tapping/knocking on our window, made us feel very uncomfortable. Food is greasy and bland, front desk staff could use additional training. Not worth the amount charged for the room. If the golf tournament wasn't in town and all the hotels were booked we would have changed hotels the first night.
Washer & Dryer available 24/7; Hotel staff very courteous and friendly; Breakfast Hot, fresh with several varieties of food; & room was EXTREMELY clean with comfortable temperature w/o window unit on.
Do not stay at this Best Western. It was overbooked so my room was not available. I was instead given a room with non-functioning internet, tv, and phone, with a cot that had a broken spring. Second straight bad experience with Best Western, in two different locations, I'm just going to be done with these hotels.
Breakfast was cold or out of food!! Never fresh coffee Also they took my money off my card before we even arrived to check in I did not like that We travel to Tulsa every feb for end of yr tournament will not be coming back here
This is terrible! It old and falling apart! Please see the attached pictures to understand the gravity of the property needing work! Management is no where to be found! The elevator is out of order our entire stay of three days and 2 nights. After refusing to carry our luggage up the stairs, a “king size room” was located on the first floor. The closet was so small we could not place a suitcase in it! It took three times to get keys to the room that worked. Then it took three attempts to find a remote for the TV that worked.
Staff always courteous and helpful. Inn looked like it was in the process of being updated. Some decor, fixtures and furniture updated. Some of the light fixtures in our room were not in the best of shape. Floor lamp was coming apart and had to be removed as it appeared unsafe. Cleanliness was decent. Room smelled a little old but not musty. Beds were a little on the firm side but reasonably comfortable. Pillows very comfortable. Loved the large bathroom mirror with backlighting, good overhead light for additional lighting in bathroom. Plenty of table/desk space and chairs. Breakfast offerings were good.
Friendly staff clean rooms good internet and good tv reception. Excellent worker in breakfast lounge. Very helpful staff parking was not a problem and many options in the area for dining options breakfast options were sufficient
The room itself was fine, with nice vanity / lighting in the bathroom. However, the smoke alarm had been disabled & was left hanging open so it was chirping & sounding an alarm every 2-3 min which we knew we could not deal with all night. Then the TV would not work & the latch was broken on the door to the room. We called the FD & she came up...which the best solution was to move to their last available room. Which was not a huge problem except we had already unpacked everything!! Not fun after a long drive from another State & we were exhausted. Seems to me that the Housekeeper who last cleaned should have made a list of repairs needed prior to being available for Guests. The replacement room was OK, except smaller due to it being handicapped accessible & half the bathroom vanity space. The bed was so comfortable tho, I could have slept 12 hours!! The only other problem was the toilet kept running the 2nd night. Parking is tight. but overall for a sold out w/e for Tulsa Hotels, we were just glad we had a safe place to stay. Good loccation w/ Security at night, & surrounded by other hotels. Would probably stay again, but will check to see if everything works prior to unpacking!! (Even if tired!!)
This was a great choice for me to have made for my business stay in Tulsa as it was close to the things that I needed to get to and offered most of the amenities I needed. The internet was a bit finnicky as I kept losing connection with it due to an IP address problem with their router that cropped up over and over throughout the day. The door lock on my room barely worked and I would have to swipe my key about 10-15 times to get the door to finally read it and open. The biggest issue, however, were the beds in the room. I slept in them both throughout my stay trying to find a comfortable bed for my needs. The mattresses were rock hard, sagging in the places where people had been sleeping in them and full of springs that you could feel as you slept. Overall, this location is a great fit for business travel, but I will probably not stay here again if I care about my ability to get a really good night's sleep.
For a not get out comfortable bed, attentive staff (all of them), the room being spic and span, not any other amenity I could have asked for, and hot waffles in the morning (if I dared); I have paid a great deal more and gotten a great deal less in my decades of travel. Thank you Tripadvisor, Best Western, (especially Tamara,) for a great 10 day (every pun intended) stay!
Hotel was well-maintained, rooms were large (I had a King room and it was very roomy), and lobby and rooms were super clean. Room was made up each day quickly and early, allowing me to return to my room mid-afternoon and find it clean and freshly made. Beds were comfortable. No breakfast or amenities at this time, but there is an IHOP almost within walking distance (though I wouldn't walk as there were VERY sketchy looking people loitering near nearby hotels).
Friendly place to stop. Clean rooms, security in the parking lot. Friendly staff. and good place to stay enjoyed my stay here Would come back and stay again. Good breakfast would have like a toaster for the bread though.
The staff was great. The room was clean. But the bed was hard and uncomfortable. Towels were TINY, even the thin people were barely covered. Pillows were meh. Stars were for the awesome staff and cleanliness.
Front desk staff clearly not thrilled to have the job. Waited for a few minutes before they came in through the same front door I did. No hint of a smile. Smooth process otherwise. Upon entering the room it smelled like someone had just smoked in the room minutes prior. Extremely strong cigarette smell. I have my 4 year old with me. Not pleasant but it's almost 9 PM so lacking energy to go elsewhere. Reported the incident staying at minimum I required a note left on my reservation I would not be held responsible for smoking in a non smoking room. She asked a little specifics but nothing after I confirmed the room reeked of cigarettes. No apologies or solutions offered. I was not surprised when we were woken by fire alarms at 3 AM, to which was apparently triggered by a guest room in the 3rd floor. Very clear this hotel is poorly ran & the staff does not have any care to enforce their policies. I have stayed at better best western hotels & this makes the whole chain look terrible. Do better.
The website shows pictures and details for the rooms before booking that are not accurate. I was given a different room than the one I paid for. I paid for a mini suite and the room I got was not a mini suite. The receptionist also did not understand why the website would show those details for a mini suite when it is not what they had. We checked out at 7AM breakfast was not ready and we were not offered anything either. Very rude customer service. Also you can hear traffic and other guest in their rooms.
I'm honestly not sure how it got a 4. It is dirty and wreaks of cigarettes on the 2nd floor, even though it is supposed to be non smoking. The other guests on that floor were loud and playing rap music loudly at all hours of the night. There were dirty sheets laying in a pile in the hallway, and screaming kids. It was midnight when we got there, so this was all after midnight. We only stayed there because my mother in law had heart bypass surgery and we wanted to be close. We definitely won't make that mistake again !!!
My advise is to find a different location at best western plus. Dont make reservations at this location. The noise level is high. Difficulty getting any sleep. No water pressure. No hot water at all. Standards at this location is below rating.
If you enjoy staying at a one star, dangerous, homeless drug area... have fun. I get into my room, the refrigerator doesn't work properly the TV's are from the 90s and the beds are hard as rocks. I asked someone to come into my room to fix the refrigerator and get the TVs to work properly. They did as well as they could. What annoyed me the most was when I receive my bill, and it wasn't adjusted using the proper gift coupons that I had earned from Best Western Rewards. I shouldn't have to explain this to them more than twice. Instead, I get a remark from the receptionist that is totally unprofessional. She says, “You've been nothing but problems ever since you got here”. Can you believe that? Speaking to a customer like that, to one that stays in Best Westerns continuously for work? Unacceptable. I'd rather stay in my SUV.
This was a nice hotel in a safe location in Tulsa. It was near restaurants and easy access to I-44. The service was good and room was clean. The grab and go breakfast was very sparse - only danish, granola bars and juice. Yogurt or oatmeal and milk would have been nice easy additions. Value for the room was fair. I would stay here again.
Stayed overnight during our trip. Location is great, convenient to zip out and get dinner, etc. We were only here on a quick overnight and found the room to be more than adequate for the price. Decent bed, clean towels, etc. Check-in was quick and easy. My only complaint is that there were only two full-size towels in the bathroom. Granted, I'm a single person in a bedroom with two queens, but I find having two pillows on each bed to be in adequate. I find having only two towels to be in adequate. I like to take a shower before I go to bed but also need one in the morning to actually wake up. As such, this needs to be adjusted and I would rate this stay higher.
We stayed here on the last night of a trip from California to Missouri (Mon, 4/6/20) and were terribly disappointed. We have stayed at several Best Westerns along the way and came to trust them as a reliable, clean, and safe hotel. This one was quite different than the others! As we walked to our room, the smell of cigarette smoke was almost choking, but thankfully our room did not stink too bad. The king size bed had 2 small pillows (literally almost the size of throw pillows on a couch) and no others. Decor was terribly outdated, but at least it was clean. All of this I could typically overlook, however when our car was broken into, management did NOTHING! We reported the break in the next morning to Fernada (front desk person who was very nice) and she showed my husband that our car was parked dead center and spot on to 2 of the security cameras, so we should be able to get good video of the perpetrators. She also took our number and said the manager, Mila, would call us later that day. We never received a call, so 2 days later I followed up and had to call back twice to finally speak with the manager. She first said that our car was not visible on the video feed...a blatant lie, so I called her out and told her that Fernanda had already showed my husband our car was directly seen by 2 cameras. So, she gave me the brush off and said, I'm gonna need a few days to do this, call back next week. So, I contacted her back on Tuesday and figured this was >1 week after the incident in a slow time, she should have plenty of time to review the video. She again dodged all questions and said she looked at the feed, but "couldn't see anything". I kept pressing because she wasn't clear as to what that meant and she proceeded to say "it's blurry, I didn't see anything". Basically giving me plenty of excuses and then she finally said, "I am not experienced with this, call the police and they have far more time and research to do this type of thing?!" She did say that she was going to have her young associate who was more skilled with video/technology try to look through it as well and I should call back in a couple days. I gave it a week and contacted her back the following Wed to see if the young associate was able to find anything on the video, but she didn't even know what "young associate" I was talking about, clearly meaning she hadn't done anything else with the video. I reminded her of what she told me the previous week and she told me, "right, but you never called back, and now we may not even be able to see the video anymore because they only keep it for 14 days." At no point had she mentioned this, but I asked her to please see if it was available and at that point she offered to send me the video via email by Friday, or at least contact me to let me know if she could still retrieve it. Friday came and went with no email or call. I finally called back Monday (exactly 3 weeks after the incident) and she again said they couldn't see anything and it was completely blurry and that we needed to file a police report and the cops would have far more time/resources than she does. I asked why she never called or emailed me to let me know of this and her response was "because I never said I would." She clearly did not care at all that our vehicle was broken into and while the items stolen totaled may $200-300 in value, I would have thought she might have showed at least a small amount of concern or effort to help us out. I would NOT recommend staying at this Best Western as it is not like the others in the brand, management has no pride, cars are unsafe in parking lot despite video cameras, rooms are outdated with tiny pillows and the "no smoking" policy is a joke.
Lorena at the front desk was terrific! She wiped down everything after every use. This BW was in a location close to restaurants and stores. We will stay here again when in the Tulsa area. Our room was clean and comfortable.
We found this hotel one that was in a good location. It was clean and the rooms were a good size and layout was very functional. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It offered an excellent continental breakfast. The price was reasonable and good value for the services and rooms offered.
Clean and updated... loved it. Highly recommend. Great value for your dollar. Will be looking into Best Western Plus options for my future travels. While this hotel is conveniently located near the highway, I could hear traffic, but not enough to keep me from sleeping. While I was given an handicapped accessible room, which lacked a hair dryer, I was eventually provided one when I asked for it.
We were in a 2 room suite. Suite was divided by a wall, but no door and an open window wall. Microwave and small refrigerator. TV in Both bedroom and living room. Furniture was new/clean, but not a new style. Seemed 1980's style to me. Minimal amount of dresser space. Not many hangers in closet. Bed was very comfortable. Seating in living space was ample but not much leg room. Bathroom was spacious and clean. Internet was slow in business center, not so bad in room. Cable TV picture froze occasionally. We put a tag on our door to clean our room when we left, and when we returned in afternoon, no maid service. Desk staff took out our trash and gave us all clean towels, so that was okay. We wasn't important to us that bed was not made. Desk staff was extremely pleasant, extremely helpful. Breakfast had no cooked food, but rather all tasted as though bought frozen in bulk and heated in microwave. Oatmeal was instant packaged only. Self-serve waffle machine was only cooked food. Had usual items, yogurt, cereal, packaged baked goods, fruit. But food is complimentary, so I should not complain too much. However, other Best Western Plus properties did a better food service. Food area was extremely clean and kept supplied well. We are Best Western Reward Members and got a nice discount on room, even though we had no reservation. We did not use pool or gym room, but looked nice from what we could see. Pool had plenty of towels, and gym room had a half dozen machines and free weights. Property had ample parking and close to front and side door. Entire property was neat and clean and attractive. This hotel is on a street with about a dozen other hotels nearby.
No privacy what so ever and their so rude to you! And they will try to charge you for all type of fees and breakfast was terrible and my main issue was having no privacy even tho the do not disturb sign was up.
Unfriendly and unhelpful front desk staff, run down compared to other BW, safety bar needed in bathroom tub. watered down apple juice and no OJ. Breakfast was so bad that I had to go and buy breakfast out. Lots of hotels within 1 minute of this BW
Great location close to the highway. Even though we were close to the highway, our room was quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, they had a variety of hot and cold items. They had eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy as well as the customary waffle maker. They also took the time to saran wrap the apples individually which was an amazing idea for those who are germaphobes. We had an issue with no hot water which was resolved ingeniously by the lady at the front desk. We will continue to frequent this hotel when we are back in Tulsa.
We picked this place because they don't allow pets and the price was reasonable. It is getting harder to find a place like this. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Our room was very clean and comfortable.
Receptionist was nice, rooms were clean and pretty up to date, close to highway which is convenient but kinda noisy if your on the side closest to the highway, beds were clean but not very comfortable. Check your alarm when you check in. Ours went off at 6am but overall it seemed clean and they were friendly.
Very clean, a variety of options for a complimentary breakfast. The AC is not loud. Decor was new and updated as was the bathroom area. Was surprised we did not hear other guests taking showers like you do in other hotels. We had a nice quiet experience.
Last night of our journey home. Weather was atrocious all day! Walked into the lobby tired & wet & was met with a warm smile by the reception lady. She could tell that we were tired. Let me know that she had just made fresh hot coffee. We were sold!
we drove thru this area, and we were excited to stay in this very clean hotel. good breakfast. good rooms. very clean. nice staff. the check in and check out went smooth. great coffee. thanks for making this a great stay. comfortable beds.
We made our reservations months in advance and checked in online hours early and arrived to receive an undesirable room located next to the noisy ice machine. When we opened the door the room smelled musty. The air handling unit seemed to be the cause of the smell and was noisy as well. There was no bedside lamp on one side of the bed. Breakfast was very basic. I am not sure what constitutes a "Plus", but this place was barely basic in my experience of other Best Western Plus hotels.
Fast check in. Friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms. Got breakfast with good selection. Price way better than expected for the area. Sir down dining within walking distance of motel. Definitely recommend.
Everything about this place was great. Easy access, clean, comfortable, friendly and with a convenient breakfast! Wasn't too far from anywhere we wanted to go. The jacuzzi tub was a pleasant addition. Very relaxing to have this in your own room.
It is clean and the staff is friendly. The rooms are not as small as many other hotels and they have a lot of pillows on the bed. The beds are a little firm, but I like them. The breakfast bar has a lot of options I have not seen in other hotels within this price range.
This BW is located in a decent area of Tulsa with plenty of places around to eat. Everything about my stay was nearly perfect. The hotel room was clean, comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast was really good as well.
My family really likes the Best Western Hotels. They have an excellent reward program and great food. This was our first visit to the Best Western in Tulsa and we were pleased with the breakfast and the staff.
From the first sampling to last, our table of four concurred Best Asian Buffet, 6981 S. Lewis, is in a class by itself. According to one of the owners, who doubles as hostess, the restaurant's lead chef was recruited after a successful career in the competitive California market. The offerings are fresh, eye appealing, and most important, tasty. The dishes, in our view, would be suited for a first-class restaurant. Nothing on the buffet is unpacked from a truck. Even the fried rice and sushi reflect creative culinary expertise. Best of all, the prices are affordable. Bring your family and invite your friends. Please support this eatery, where everything is prepared with love. To lose this jewel would be a tragic black mark against our city's efforts to achieve first-class, big-city status. Best Asian Buffet. The name fits.
Wife and I stayed here after we made the mistake of checking in across the street at super 8 , the girl at front desk was a real sweet heart we had traveled 700+ miles that day ,and it was late at night ,she helped us with everything made sure we were comfortable, nice clean comfy room ,loved the place
Came in to Tulsa for meetings. Then fly to Canada. Easy access here. Good restaurants in walking distance from hotel. Rooms were clean and bed good. I had a good night's rest then drove 15 min to airport. Staff was friendly also.
We stayed here for the second time. Always clean! A good value hotel during our event in Tulsa. Room to park our trailer is always a plus! Staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok. Pool is very small but we didn't come for that just wanted to mention.
I loved this hotel! It's right off their highway, and there's a Ruby Tuesday's & Cracker Barrel across the parking lot. The hotel was modern and up to date. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I loved the shower and the soaps were all natural and smelled wonderful. The only negative thing was, I wish my bed wasn't as hard. However I will stay here again if I'm ever passing through!
I really enjoyed staying at this property. This Best Western is newly updated, reasonable rates and excellent shower. Would definitely stay again. My only issue was the key cards. We got "2" cards at first. It was very easy to get into the room the first time. After that it was a pain. Went to the front desk to get them reprogrammed and the host graciously did. The keys were still hit and miss.
Our family stayed here for a week for a mix of business and vacation. All the staff that we came across at the front desk and housekeeping were polite and professional. Breakfast was ok given the price range of this hotel. Overall an excellent place to stay.
The motel was wasy to find and get to. The staff on arrival was excelland and checkin was again fast and easy. Our room was large and very comfortable. It was quiet and clean. The motel has a good parking lot and an area for trailers and big trucks. We were able to walk to a restaurant which is a nice conveyance although it is not one of our favorite chains. This is a very nice Best Western. Only minor problem was the sink spigot is almost plugged so you get very little water out. I can't believe the cleaning crew does not use water to notice it needs maintenance.
We will definitly stay here again when in Tulsa. Staff was great. Good breakfast. Room/bed was comfortable. Very quiet room. Easy access to hotel from the road. I do not like having to write 200 characters to complete this review.
Tamara is extremely rude and unhelpful. Definitely needs to work on her customer service skills. When we checked in, I handed her the email confirmation with EVERYTHING she needed and stated I checked in online. She said she didn't know what I was talking about? Idk how she didn't, maybe it's new? Then she couldn't find my reservation even though it gave her literally everything she needed. I had to call the main BW 1800 number and the operator pulled it up within 30 seconds. Went back inside and told Tamara to check again because BW didn't have any issue finding it. She responded no and got an attitude and tried to say I asked rudely? I decided it was best to record her attitude towards me, pretty sure she noticed because it was fixed after that. I've been in customer service for YEARS, even worked at the BW in OKC, I know how to treat people just doing their job. She clearly wasn't trained correctly and needs to brush up on their system if she doesn't know how to search for confirmation number direct from the BW website. After we brought our bags in, there was another gentleman getting frustrated with her and tasing his voice. Just goes to show we aren't the only ones that had issues that night. Other than the terrible service, the property and room was great and clean.
Location is close to Hwy but not noisy which made it easy to get going on the road again. Breakfast was really nice with eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cold cereal, waffles or pancakes, juices & coffee, yogurt, fruit, pastries ect. I hate starting my day off trying to find food so this was a major plus for me and just what we needed to jump start our journey.
Have stayed at BW Plus before and had good experience but this was not the case. We were stuck staying here because we were assigned by a travel company related to the Soccer Tournament we were attending. I am the travel coordinator that booked the block of rooms for our Soccer Club. We were informed that there had been many recent car break-ins and that we should make sure to lock car doors. We had several parents who did not get the room type they had booked (booked a suite for the extra pull out bed) and ended up with a king room! There is no pool or hot tub at this property. The rooms are fairly small and the curtain in our room was torn, the TV is also a small 32 inch which is hard to see from the bed. Several of our parents were in rooms in which the air conditioner was broken, including one of the rooms I booked. The front desk clerk informed me that the hotel had been recently purchased by a new investment group and that there were a large number or rooms with broken air conditioners. Elevator was small extremely slow and we ended up taking the stairs most of the weekend. The breakfast was decent but they kept running out of food, knowing that the hotel was sold out due to the tournament they should have had more staff.
I tried to cancel my reservation within one hour of making it and was told I'd have to pay a cancellation fee although the TRIP ADVISOR site advertised FREE CANCELLATION. I just checked my CC statement and found they charged me for the entire amount. When I called the Best Western to discuss, the phone went unanswered. They somehow blocked my phone. Now I have to deal with Booking.com for a resolution. The "Free Cancellation" fine print was within 30 days or one night stay. TOTAL BS!
Well kept hotel. Small but decent breakfast area. Clean rooms. Easy access to highways. Quick drive to downtown Tulsa. Lots of eating places within 5 miles or less as well as shopping. One restaurant and some fast food within walking distance .
This hotel provided a fast check in, good amount of parking and fast check out. The breakfast was pretty good as well, as there were many options. Our family endured an issue in the one small pool. Two boys were splashing other guests including myself. We reported it to the front desk, but were quickly advised to talk to the parents on our own. The next morning, the same two kids were in the pool, so no one else could enjoy the much needed R & R.
We took a short family trip to Tulsa and this hotel definitely accommodated. There was plenty of room in our double queen room. The hotel lobby stunk of chlorine because the door was propped open to the pool. However, the lobby was clean and breakfast had a nice selection in the morning. The juices tasted watered down.
Hotel was nice. The breakfast was very good. The beds were ok definitely not my favorite. Was disappointed that when I asked for extra pillows at check in I was told that they had no extras available. Unfortunately our toilet ran for a bit every time we flushed but it was a minor inconvenience which I informed the front desk about upon checking out the next morning. I also did not have a hair dryer in the room but when I went to the front desk they gave me one immediately and apologized for there not being one in the room. Overall definitely worth the price we paid. Would stay again.
good and nice hotel, clean safe, dinning areas near by and efficient staff,i shall stay here again and i have can recommend this place to my family and friends .breakfast was good and clean with variety
I would recommened Tulsa INN & Suites to my family and friends because the people were very helpfual and treat you with respect. Every thing was clean and in place. this was one of the nice Bestwern Motel in have been to.
Broken Shower head and Internet didn't work. The internet was out for at least 4 to 5 hours the night that I stayed. The next morning the shower head didn't work and I had to take a bath instead. I will not be recommending this hotel to friends.
The best thing about this hotel was the staff. The young lady (not the front desk) was so helpful this morning. The rest of the staff was reasonable. The hotel is ok. Nothing great, but nothing bad either. There are some wear and tear that is showing up. Normal for an older building. The room was spacious and clean. The sheets were clean, and the water was hot. What else do you want? The breakfast this morning was good. Again, not the best but by far not the worst either. Well worth the price paid for the room.
Very clean, neat in appearance, worth the money spent. Had the usual Best Western breakfast in the morning. Check out was simple. Do not have time for this nonsense of having to have 200 minimum characters. I want extra points for spending all the time required to type this out
my stay was good, it was very clean, quiet, i didn't have any problems, the breakfast was good and hot. Staff is nice and friendly and there to help. it has a indoor pool, fitness center, business center and the view from the 3rd floor is great!
The room was not at all what we were expecting or hoping for. We were directly across from the exit so we heard the door slamming non-stop and the road noise was so loud I felt like we were at the airport. I looked at the window-expecting it to be open the noise was so loud. It was closed but there was tape like they were taping the window shut. The front desk attendant was incredibly rude when I asked if we could switch rooms- public service announcement- apparently you're supposed to REQUEST a room that is NOT on the outside wall. Did you know that? I sure didn't. Seems this hotel is different from every other hotel I've ever stayed at. They were not accommodating at all in trying to help us get a satisfactory room. We ended up staying, but I really wish we wouldn't have. The bed was hard as a rock and the road noise was so loud we couldn't sleep. The water pressure coming from the shower was so incredibly poor that I had to rinse my hair with a cup from the sink. Yep. A cup. Sounds pleasant, doesn't it? The ice machine on the first floor was broken, so we had to go to the 3rd floor to get ice. Overall, I really wish we would have not booked at this hotel. It was our first visit at a Best Western and will be our last. There are SO MANY other options-many right in the same area- that I would recommend ANYTHING else. Don't waste your money on this place. The 'updated' look doesn't change the fact that everything is janky and broken and uncomfortable. Such a disappointing and unpleasant visit.
The hotel was easily accessible and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was hot and tasty with a lot of choices. Would stay here again.
We selected this property based on positive experiences with the brand. We were traveling cross country with our dog. This property was an easy on/off I-44. The rate was good. The bed comfortable. The amenities perfect for our needs. Bonus was a Ruby Tuesday Restaurant just a short walk across the parking lot. In addition a walk up the hill revealed a large open field in front of the sub-acute rehabilitation center where we could run our dog. There are several hotel options in this complex. We are delighted to have selected this Best Western Plus for our overnight stay in Tulsa.
Enjoyed our stay at this conveniently located Best Western. Room was very clean and comfortable - also the room was very well lit, which is not always the case. Carpets in hallway and room were really clean. Check in was quick. Parking lot well lit. Breakfast offerings need some improvement, but that was not a deal breaker -there is a McDonald's close by, and the in-room coffee was good. Stairwells were very clean - I always think that is a good indicator of the overall hotel- and we used them since the elevator is small and was not convenient to our room's location, crammed into a corner. Maid service failed to make up our room on the first morning of our stay but we may have caused it by having the do not disturb sign out for a little while before retrieving it. All in all, it was a good experience and I would most likely stay there again.
Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars. Front desk Tammera very friendly Front desk Braian very helpful and polite, professional Front desk Barb very helpful and polite.professional General Manager Nila Patel, polite, very professional and careful. I had a small problem in my room and the Staff in a minutes solved Room super clean. Great size Everything in room work Bathroom clean Wifi work Breakfast great. The housekeeping staff works hard every day to keep everything clean . Im back next year
The hotel was nice enough, the room had definitely been updated recently. The “fitness center” ( a treadmill, elliptical and a recumbent bike) is open 24 hrs. The elevator is in the rear corner of the hotel and is tiny. 2 ppl tops. Also our shower head didn't work so we told the front desk who told us we must have been doing it wrong
The Blues and Greys and yellows are much more calming than the typical Reds and golds and wood colors you get at many hotels. Red makes things more stressful. This hotel was outstanding. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and nicely decorated.
The king suite at this hotel rivals hotels in NYC, where we retired from. Great amenities, super clean and modern love, love, love. Caring staff, too. Brian went the extra mile. Everything carefully thought of.
Rooms were nice, beds comfortable, service good, breakfast good. Had some trouble getting on line. If you go to this hotel make sure you are not on the end on the first floor as the outside door would loudly bang shut every time someone came in. We reported it multiple times but it never got fixed. Other than that, nice property, reasonably priced. Wish they had a hot tub...
Perfect room for a budget traveler like myself. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The room was clean and attractive. The bathroom was roomy enough, clean and offered all the amenities I could need. Always delivers. I Love this place!
Clean and efficient staff, okay breakfast. However poor water pressure and temperature; mattress, blankets and pillows not the best quality and Door key card didn't work well to the point we had to get a new one. The business center printer wasn't working either. You can hear the freeway noise too. Probably won't stay again.
We stop regularly for the night at the Best Western Tulsa Inn & Suites when traveling to and from the Midwest, including 2 trips (for 3 nights) this summer. We enjoy the easy access from the interstate & a friendly welcome when we arrive. The rooms are always clean & comfortable, and breakfast has plenty of options and filling for the day's travel. We'll be back again and again.
After a long day driving, all we wanted to do was take a hot shower and go to bed. The lady (Tamra?) who checked us in was having difficulty with the computer. She apologized for the delay and had a pleasant, professional demeanor. The lower floor rooms were being worked on so we were assigned a room on the top floor. The elevator was small and had graffiti on the walls. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom (sink, toilet, bathtub combo) was funky. The toilet paper holder was placed in an awkward position so you had to twist around to get to it. The shower knobs were bizarre. We finally figured out that you had to pull down under the water spiqet to get the shower to work. There was a mini fridge and microwave in the room but we found out in the morning that the fridge did not keep our food cold even though it was set on the coldest setting. What was most disconcerting were the inconsiderate guests and housekeeping staff who kept slamming doors and speaking loudly in the halls at all hours of the evening and morning. It was noisy outside too as the hotel is close to the freeway and busy street. There was a washer and dryer available for guests as well as a business room, indoor pool and free breakfast. We didn't take advantage of these amenities so I cannot comment on these.
Clean, close to food, good breakfast, would definitely stay here again. The kids liked the pool and you could walk to a couple restaurants. Breakfast even offered a Gluten Free cereal. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Quiet and clean. Desk clerk was very helpful recommending a good place to eat - Jamil's - but that is another review! Didn't use the pool but it looked clean too. Breakfast was the normal fare of eggs, sausage, etc. . . Bed was comfortable. No issues. Easy access from highway.
Nice solid lodging. A little difficult (confusing?) to get to with all the construction, but that is a limited time thing. Room was clean, bed comfortable and things relatively quiet. Breakfast was adequate. Everything was clean and well presented. Located in an area with some quality restaurants, etc within easy walking distance. Just a nice "solid" stay.
We are on a cross country and primarily staying at this chain. We found the plus variety does not cost much mor but gives you classy facility, good breakfast, pool options, nice towels and overall great stays. This place did not disappoint. Up to plus standards.
We had a great experience at the Tulsa Inn & Suites. We were a late arrival but had no difficulty getting our room. The breakfast was just what we needed. No problems with the location, and very helpful staff.
We have stayed at this Best Western every time we visit my aunt in Tulsa. It is easy to access from the freeway, major streets, and my aunt's home. The facility is always clean; the staff is friendly and helpful; and the location is great. You can't go wrong by staying there.
Pool room is like a sauna but the water is cool and refreshing. It was perfect for the kids, hot for the grownups. The breakfast is very kid friendly. Coffee all day long in the lobby. Rooms were a classic hotel. Nothing bad, nothing great except I really liked the lights they had. Soft white that didn't hurt your eyes and enough lamps so you could adjust how bright the room was easily .
We stayed here one night while travelling on Route 66. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was grouped in a neighborhood of a string of hotels and restaurants. We enjoyed free parking, free, wifi, free breakfast with many choices, and an indoor pool. Close to shopping and gas stations and right near our route. I would definitely stay here again.
It's easy to get most places in Tulsa from this location, although getting on the correct road can be a bit confusing. The property seemed clean. The room was large. There was decent food for breakfast, although the eating area never seemed to have an attendant. The price seemed reasonable. I'd stay here again.
Seedy "after hours" parking lot with security not showing up until 11 PM. Terrible WiFi, seriously bad. Dirty room by most standards. Other options in Tulsa and we are opting out. This area is covered with budget motels and that may add to the issue.
Spacious clean comfortable rooms. Beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff was awesome and very helpful. After spending the two previous nights in subpar accommodations, we are very happy to spend this night in the Best Western in Tulsa. Breakfast was good, and the breakfast area was appropriately sized. Additionally, like some Budget Hotels these Best Western rooms come with all the amenities that you expect. We will be happy to stay at this hotel again.
My mom & I travel to Tulsa every 5 years for her high school reunion and stay at this location. We like this location because it's quiet, easy to get to, and near everything and everywhere we go. The beds and pillows are comfortable. There is an indoor pool and workout area but we've never used them. The continental breakfast has a great selection and is very clean. We will definitely be using this location again.
The appearance was very nice and very clean. One of the clerks was very helpful in suggesting a good restaurant that serve catfish. The staff was very nice and friendly. The hotel is located by near restaurants such as Pizza Hut, McDonald and IHOP.
Enjoyed our stay here. Beds/pillows were very comfortable and clean... shower pressure really good. Very much enjoyed the breakfast and service was impeccable. Very close to great restaurants and easy on and off Highway 44 (east/west)
Don't book on line through website more expensive than paying at check in I normally pay around 190 for two rooms per nighr book on website and got billed 214 dollars don't understand stand where that came from it said rooms were 74 dollars a night
My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Beds were very comfy, pillows nice. Shower had great pressure and clean. Big bathroom. Room was very clean. Everything worked great. Breakfast was hot and stocked. Dining area was also clean. Close to highway and other shopping.
This was a great choice. It's a first class property with friendly helpful staff. We had a clean comfortable room & a great nights sleep. The breakfast was excellent as well. I highly recommend this hotel.
What a great stay!!! Staff was so nice, and the room was awesome!!! The beds were comfy. Pool was small but that didn't stop my 3 kids from totally enjoying themselves. Breakfast was great...lots of different options to enjoy!!!
I'd like to post a review of how our stay was, but we didn't even get passed check in. I had booked a king bedroom jacuzzi suite for my husbands birthday the night before. It took us about 3 and a half hour drive to get there, and with getting a late start due to an afternoon party, we got there about 7 pm. Walk in to check in just to be told our room had been blocked. What the heck? Why would the manager block out our room after we've booked it?! And to top that off, not even bother calling to notify us of this careless act. The front desk lady(not the manager) was so sincere and apologized many times for what had happened and tried offering us a lower room with points, but I spent 6 hours the day before trying to find a good available jacuzzi room and I was intent on getting one. She then called up several surrounding hotels to try and find one for me and thankfully finally found one, at the other BW only 5 miles away. Thank goodness for this woman cause if not we were going to raise hell. To the manager there, I hope karma will bite you back for being such a terrible representative of this company and a terrible person.
The rooms in this hotel are all inside. They are clean and roomy. The free breakfast was served in the lobby and was both hot & cold food. The rooms had microwave and refrigerator, and there was lots of hot water for showers.
A nice clean and welcoming Best Western as you would expect with very friendly staff. Not many eateries within walking distance but plenty of Ubers if you want to go out for a meal. Pool a little small. One little moan which is common in many places, why have the bed near the window in a suite and the sitting area in the centre in the dark?
We arrived at 5 PM and there was one couple waiting to check in, but no one attending the counter and no way to call them. We actually phoned the hotel to ask someone to come to the front desk. She had been doing something with one of the rooms, so I gather they did not have enough staff to cover the duties. The staff was friendly to us during our visit, however. The room and hotel in general seemed to be a mix of new and old. The shower was new and very good, for example, but there was scratched or torn paint, etc., in the hallway and elevator. The room had a musty odor until we ran the fan constantly for quite a while. Breakfast had hot and cold items including fresh fruit and a pancake maker (instead of waffles). The coffee was better than some and worse than other hotels.
This is a great location for someone traveling lots to eat around and easy to get gas. I heard some screaming at night and the roadway a lot but other than that it was clean.and breakfast was hot it was a great value
We had an early am appointment and opted to use points for a free stay. Our only gripe about this property were the door locks. Difficult to get the door unlocked, even with a new set of keys. It was convenient to where we were going the next morning. Josh at the desk was quite pleasant.
Okay, there weren't any airplanes but that's in reference to the sound our air conditioner made as it built up RPM in order for a successful takeoff!! It was loud and would wake us up when it kicked on. When it kicked off, then you could hear the train and the neighbors TV plus Houston street traffic! Not a good nights rest to say the least. Finally sleeping good when get a LOUD knocking on the door at 01:45. I get up on the second knocking and open the door quickly asking her what the hell she wanted! OH, I must have the wrong room? You think? About 2:45 or so, there's another loud knocking on the next room over. I was actually looking forward to sunrise and checking out. Went ahead and informed the front desk what happened and she looked up our room then said "There was a group that booked 4 rooms for a birthday celebration. They were probably drunk.". No kidding? Why book people around them? I asked about if I had asked for a quiet room she said certainly they'd accommodate and put us on the 3rd floor. HINT: WE WERE ON THE 3RD FLOOR! Other than a rebrand that is similar to Dairy Queen logo, I see nothing much had changed for this hotel chain and unfortunately seems in decline. Positives: Covered parking even though not guaranteed, bed was comfortable. Negative: Noise and lots of it, breakfast was typical free fare, front desk didn't seem concerned Won't be returning here and hope others read the review before making reservations. There are better hotels with covered parking and if any price difference then it's worth it!
Nice hotel, friendly staff and great breakfast! We got upgraded to a suite after an issue with our other room. We were told of this prior to arrival but the room was very nice. Definitely recommend this Best Western
The room was clean. The bed was very firm with five pillows. The bathroom was clean and stocked with towels.Television was a nice size. The front check in lady wasn't very friendly.Didnt seem like she wanted to check me in.Other than that,it was a good stay.Would I stay here again, probably not.
Very clean, nicely decorated. The breakfast is always good, lots of options. Not a fan of pancake machine, prefer waffle maker. Beds are very uncomfortable. We always stay at BW and will continue to, however might try a different location next time.
My wife and I, along with the banshees aged 5 and 2 stayed here on the 28th - 29th. The room was nice, it seemed to have been redone not long ago. Attention to detail was very good. Not a hair nor bug was ever found. The tv remote is a good size and Not Black. Black remotes can be hard to find on dark furniture. Beds were comfortable. Room temperature was easy to adjust and was fairly quiet. The only thing I noticed was the toilet paper holder and that is from the design, the staff have nothing to do with it. It is an ‘L' shape with the screws going into Sheetrock with no backing. I noticed ours was loose and informed the girls in my “daddy voice” that they were not to play with it at all. It really needs to be screwed into a wall stud or changed entirely. The torque adds up and the 90 degree acts like a lever pulling directly on the screws. Like I said though, I didn't have an issue with this, though I let the desk know. The staff greeting us was excellent: friendly, professional, and accommodating. We were given an interior corner room at my request because small girls can be very loud. I didn't notice outside nor inside noise at all. That usually means we were the loudest. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a great stay at the the Best Western Tulsa on Christmas eve. Excellent staff, clean room over all a great hotel. Did not have a chance to use the pool. I would pick this Best Western again. Thanks
Best quality double queen for the cost and a great location. Fast and easy check in and out. Good parking. Plenty of security cameras. Easy access to restaurants and local sites make this hotel very appealing for a return stay.
We were just staying 1 night going to a performance the next day. We could have stayed all week. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was really good. Pool was a little small, but it was Nov. and it was indoors. The pool is NOT heated, but it was not advertised as such. Still very nice, no hot tub. Plenty of towels at pool side, and a bathroom. Could not have been a better stay.
Great location and lovely hotel. Clean & great price. My only disappointment is the bed. I am used to temperpedic so these mattresses with springs I am not used to My husband did nto mind. Employees were friendly. We will definately return i we are in the Tulsa area
We booked this hotel for two weeks as we were attending USA national Arabian horse show!So glad we did,Front desk and cleaning staff were awesome.Hotel was fresh and very clean, recently updated.Beds were super comfy, love the bathrooms and the extra vanity area! Fridge, microwave and a coffee maker! Lots of parking, and lots of restaurants within walking distance,Ruby Tuesday,Ihop, McDonald's,Cracker Barrel,Pizza hut! Safe area with about 7 other hotels in a row.Easy freeway access! Free breakfast and great pool
My husband decided to surprise me with a night away for our anniversary. He booked a jacuzzi suite. We didn't get checked in until around 6ish and that is when the catastrophe started. Our key didn't work 4 different times and we were blamed for putting it in my purse next to my cell phone. Then after laying on the bed and pillows for 3 hours watching football we discovered blood all over the pillows and bed. We were horrified. We went to the front desk and were told that there was no housekeeping there that night. What that means is they hand you another set of sheets to change yourself! We were livid! Finally after throwing a fit and crying we were switched to another room about midnight because I refused to sleep on a bloody bed. Their excuse was that housekeeping probably cut their hand and didn't know it! What?! We moved our own stuff to a new room, not a jacuzzi room, and finally got some sleep. Did I mention this was our one night away for our anniversary? Also no manager was even called until we threw a fit. The next morning we received a receipt showing our night was free but who cares. They should have paid us for having to deal with that disgusting crap that night. I did not receive one apology or phone call from anyone either. We walked out the next morning to see housekeeping sitting against the wall playing on their phones. I called corporate today only to get told no other compensation would be given since they already compensated our room that night! WOW! Really?! This place is run poorly and I would recommend staying at any of the other nicer hotels around it. If you do stay there GOOD LUCK! Might be handed a broom and mop to clean your room. I would have gave them 0 stars if I could. I will do my best to make sure everyone I know does not ever stay at a Best Western again. Corporate is a joke as well. If I could post the pictures I absolutely would!
Wow, our room was huge and the bath had absolutely beautiful tile. We loved the "Guest Directory" as there was a "recommended business map" with numerous resturants and a very detailed map to correspond so you could easily locate. Take exit #232, easy on and off main highway.
After our first hotel was a terrifying experience (America's Best chain) we moved down the street to this one (there are quite a few in a row). This hotel is clean, polite and other guests are considerate. Rooms are very modern and well equipped. Excellent rate as well.
As with most Best Western properties, this motel was nice in all respects except for the two cockroaches we found in our room the morning of our departure. We reported this during checkout and the response was under whelming. We were given 1000 extra points for the rewards program. There was probably an apology, but certainly not heartfelt. It's hard to recommend this hotel..
Dont expect the recreational activities. The pool was too cold, the gym equipment falling apart and there was nothing more than the indoor pool, not a dry heat sauna or hot tub.(fyi). Staff works hard and hotel clean, adequate breakfast was plentyful, access to highway is good. Overall I would recommend this hotel if you are not wanting the amenities they use to lure you in. Staff was delightful and environment always clean.
As I've stayed at the Best Western Tulsa Inn before, for my money, it was all I could really afford this time. The room was good, with a great TV (lots of channels) and air conditioning system and an efficient shower. Problem here was the bed just was not soft enough, with the pillows too airy and thin, causing me to toss and turn for four straight nights. The elevator needs more space in front of it on every floor, and the lobby design is a little too small. A poorly-designed building in some spots could be better than it is. It is highly likely that, if Best Western built some new facilities in the Tulsa area, I'd gravitate to them. Got to have a soft bed.
My husband and I were on a road trip to California via Route 66. We were tired and decided to get some rest. We saw a couple of hotels in the area, but I decided we go to Best Western as I've mostly had good experiences with them throughout my travels in U.S and Canada. I was very happy with my experience to say the least. The receptionist was very nice and friendly, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean, but we had a little difficulty figuring out the unique faucet in the shower, we called front desk and they helped us figure it out over the phone and we were just fine. Breakfast the next morning was awesome! There were plenty of varieties of hot and cold food as well as fresh fruits and no shortage of anything. Staff also kept the dining area clean. I wish we stayed longer. I will definitely stay there again whenever I am in the area.
Fantastic hotel. All new. Very clean and facilities were excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. We used it as a point stop on Route 66. Fairly close to down town providing you have a car. Nice pool and sufficient gym.
Stayed overnight after dropping off travelers at airport. Hotel had been updated since our previous stay. Nice friendly service at a great location close to everything in Tulsa. Prepaying for the room was a great savings. Would stay AGAIN.
Front desk check in ladies very pleasant. The hotel has been totally updated. Room had coffeemaker, mini refrigerator and WiFi. Nice work out area and indoor pool. Also a conference room. Breakfast area clean and food good.
This hotel was recently remodeled and it;s very nice. The owners obviously take great pride in their product. I have stayed here for many years and this is the best it has ever been. The staff at the front desk is very friendly, professional and accommodating.
I checked in late at night. I opened the door, set my luggage down and got into bed. I woke up the next morning to find I had been given an occupied room--the bathroom was dirty and someone's personal belongings were on the floor next to a bed that wasn't visible when I walked in. I contacted customer service and was told I could not get a refund because, "I slept in the room, so you have to pay". Last time I stay at a BW.
The rooms were clean and quiet, the hotel staff went above and beyond to help me with my rewards card. I was relieved to get my free night of rewards. The desk clerk had to make some calls to straighten some things out for me. She was very helpful.
Very nice hotel and staff with lots of places to eat nearby. Nice size swimming pool and a hot breakfast, before starting your day. Parking spots are located near the front entrance. I enjoyed my stay here.
Everyone at the hotel was friendly and courteous. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only less positive comment is that the lack of the use of air fresheners makes for a rather stale smell in the hallways and rooms.
Really thought we were getting a hot tub and a pool with this hotel. After a long drive we really needed it and thought the web showed us that is what they had. MISTAKE, no hot tub and very small pool. Back yards have bigger ones! The hotel is very nice as far as clean and the decor is great. ON ANOTHER NOTE....Breakfast was awesome. The young women that maintained the breakfast kept it extremely clean and fresh. The rooms are clean the beds are comfortable and we slept well. We just really wanted a hot tub and would have gotten a room with one if not hot tub on site.
This was a wonderful hotel. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional. The hotel was very clean, even in the hallways. There was a wonderful breakfast consisting of two types of yogurt plus toppings for the yogurt, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, three kinds of cereal, two kinds of instant oatmeal with toppings, a machine that made pancakes in less than a minute with toppings such as chocolate chips, strawberries, etc. There was also a juice machine with two juices and enhanced water and coffee and 2% and skim milk. There was also fruit, bagels, bread for toast and muffins. The hard boiled eggs, bread, muffins and bagels were all individually wrapped, which made everything very sanitary. The pool and fitness rooms were small but nice and appeared clean, although we didn't use either. At the price point we paid for the rooms, it was a great deal and we would stay there again.
Hotel was clean and nice. Breakfast was good, but sparse and not a lot of variety. Pool is indoors but not heated. Cold, but clean. Window's open, which was nice to get some fresh air in the rooms. Cleaning folks were very nice, efficient and helpful. Front staff was friendly and helpful.
Clean, comfortable, easy to find from the highway. Bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Recently remodeled so everything is very nice. Free breakfast is nice, and the new pancake making machine is a nice addition.
Lovely place, well kept. Couldn't have asked for more. And the price was very reasonable. We immediately felt welcome. The parking lot was clean and flowers and shrubs and lawn were very nice. Lobby was attractive. Staff was very helpful, even provided a map to where we needed to go. Room was extremely clean with comfortable beds. We would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is conveniently located near highways and offers contemporary interiors, complimentary hot breakfast. All areas were immaculately clean, and staff was friendly, professional, and very helpful.
The hotel management and staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. Laura went out of her way to help me make a reservation at last minute notice. Aylin, who was fairly new at the time, was pleasant and eager to help at check in. The entire lobby smelled amazing! It was clean. Good job housekeeping! The breakfast attendant was running back and forth to ensure we all had what we want and or needed to enjoy our breakfast. She had a smile on her face the entire time!! Efforts in all areas did not go unnoticed!
... located as requested. Check-in was quick and friendly, and the breakfast was at least one notch above Hampton and HIE. One housekeeping "problem" (for management) just surfaced in my recollection of the stay - I saw the housekeeping employee who was vacuuming the first floor hallway at about 2:40 PM last Saturday (8/13) jerking the cord out of the plug sideways from about 10 feet away. Fortunately, this slovenliness was NOT reflected in any way which directly affected my stay.
Girl at check-in was very helpful! Great attitude! Made you feel at home! Hotel is pet friendly which is a big plus when traveling! Would highly recommend staying at this Best Western in Tulsa! I know we will when we are back in the area!
Second best western plus I've stayed at other was Colorado Springs, both times now I was impressed with the clean well let rooms and friendly service. We were just passing through after a long day of travel and it was a relief to get a good sleep on a clean room before moving on. Thank you again!
Very pleased with the BW updates. Very nice and clean rooms with comfortable beds and roomy. Met all of our needs and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Really liked the idea of a cover sheet over the blanket at one of the BW's.
The hotel was newly remodeled and very nice. The only issues we had was lots of kids and our room was behind the ice machine and kids were running down the hall and constantly getting ice. We were traveling through on way to Branson Mo and had friends there that we wanted to visit with.
On our way to Branson MO, easy off and back on heading with 3 1/2 hrs to go. BW+ is modern and many amenities. We booked a suite because the rate is very affordable. The hotel is independently owned and operated. Exceptional quality.
My wife and I stayed for one night in the middle of a road trip. The room was nice and comfortable and breakfast included was nice. The indoor pool area was very steamy and not as refreshing as I had hoped. It was also unfortunate that I was mistakenly charged $35 that took quite some time to get refunded through Best Western, was it was difficult to get contact directly with the hotel.
We are rewards members and stay on average 10 to 12 times a year at BW properties all across the country. This property charged us $35 for our 13lb minature French bulldog!!!! We have paid $10,$15 and a few at $20 but never more then that until Tulsa. This fee was not disclosed until check-in. What a rip off!!!
Easily accessible, right off of I-44. A great staff upon arrival, a great staff when we left the following morning. Very clean. The pool was well maintained and nice. Breakfast was very good. All the reasons we continue to exclusively utilize Best Western.
Everything about my stay at this hotel was great. Staff were very friendly. Check in and out was excellent. Good location for access to the interstate. Big TV, spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Good breakfast with all you need and coffee is on in the lobby 24/7. I will stay here again.
Great place with clean, comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. The staff was courteous and helpful in the process of check-in and check-out. The location is easily accessible from the interstate. The only item less than excellent was the condition of the elliptical in the fitness center, it needs to be replaced.
Our stay was excellent. The room was spotless clean, well decorated, had all of the amenities that we needed, was up-to-date and we could find no fault. We travel a lot and that is highly unusual for us no matter how many stars a hotel has. It is certainly pleasant to find such a nice hotel in the downtown area that has ample, secure and free parking. The entryway to the hotel and the breakfast area are pleasing and will decorated. All staff members were helpful and pleasant to deal with.
Very nice clean up dated location and friendly staff. The room was great and good location. Nice sized bath and lounging area. Probably the nicest Best Western I have been in so far. And the rates were good.
We stayed there for a week, and everything was great, from the staff to the breakfast. They need to update their website of the old pictures of the hotel to new pictures of the remodel that they have completed. Old pictures show a sauna in the fitness room and they no longer have it, they took it out when they remodeled.
The Inn was very presentable, comfortable and convenient. We arrived late. The gentleman at the desk was very cordial and had us checked in quickly. We were on the 3rd floor and it was quiet so we had a good night's sleep.
Girls weekend was a success thanks to Best Western. Breakfast was amazing lots of options, clean and inviting. Sleeping the rooms were amazing and very quiet and the location was perfect for where we were going.
Convenient Location next to major highways. Smoke Free Facility. Rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. Associates were courteous and friendly. Lots of amenities - indoor pool, gym, guest laundry, breakfast had good variety.
Great place to stay only for the price but the area it's in as well. I usually stay at Best Western when I travel for work and this one hotel was one of the nicest and cleanest one's I have stayed at even though I've never had a bad experience at a Best Western. They always clean and great to stay in but this one was a level above what I usually stay in.
This is a lovely facility. Staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was very good with a large variety of choices to please almost anyone. Loved the omelets.Attendant in the breakfast room helped with the waffle machine.Would definitely stay here again.
I stayed here overnight during a sports tournament. This hotel was located in an area where there are a lot of hotels, so I think that helped some with the rate. You could tell that this hotel was recently remodeled, because of some of the old decor was still able to be seen. The room did not smell like smoke like some refurbished hotels can. I was very tired, and slept well, but the bed was still a little hard. Breakfast was decent. They could have used a little more variety but understand that costs more. I would definitely stay here again.
This property is very clean, with friendly, efficient, helpful staff. The room was clean, well appointed, and convenient. Great for a one night stay over while traveling cross country. The breakfast was adequate with hot foods and and an assortment of breads, pastries, as well as yogurts.
It was a very clean hotel and the staff there were great for the most part I had a very good experience at this best Western. The lady who checked me in was super nice and helpful actually went out of her way to help us get a room
Third hotel tried passing through Tulsa. Finally found one that we felt comfortable staying at and were pleased to be able to walk to restaurant that was not fast food. Will return if passing thru again.
Connie truly did her best to accommodate our special needs for a disabled access room. She listened well and showed a lot of compassion. She is the type of employee that keeps me coming back to BW in the future.
Very nice hotel. This hotel is currently being remodeled. This is the reason for the 3 stars. However, the hotel is still nice. Construction materials were laying around the property and some things in our room were still not completely finished: leaking faucets, running toilet.. But the room was very comfortable and the king size bed was very nice. The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. We booked this hotel through hotel.com, however, on our way back through Tulsa we booked directly through Best Western and received great service and a better rate speaking directly with the front desk. The hot breakfast was one of the best we've had from typical hotels. It consisted of fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, breads, bagels, waffles, and cereals.
The staff at this hotel is very helpful with whatever your needs are. the communication between the staff is A+. The rooms are quiet and clean. Looks like they went through a remodel. The only downside is it has a small elevator. I used the stairs most of the time.
Everything about the hotel created a relaxing stay. I would definitely go back again. The rooms were in awesome condition. The internet worked so great we had our three laptops plus phone streaming all at once within lagging. and checking in was very easy.
Good value, good location for Soccer Tournament. I might stay here again. Apparently some of the players thought it was a good place too. They took turns running up and down the halls but the insulation between rooms was really good!
Easy on/off access to Interstate. Located close to good restaurants. Place clean inside and out. They even had a person checking the parking lot for litter. All staff very helpful and friendly. Will continue to use Best Western and would stay at this one again.
First, parking is very limited we were told when we checked in to not stay out late as parking may not be available when we returned. Arrived back to the hotel at 5:40 pm and only one space was available. Second the walls are very thin. I can hear the TV from the room connected to ours. Third, the room is adequate but for the price expected more. Will avoid staying here next time I visit Tulsa.
the room was comfortable and clean, the staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet selection of food was great! there were complimentary cookies and apples in lobby, my kids loved that! I received complimentary ice cold water upon arrival, the hotel provided toiletries like toothbrushes and toothpaste which was appreciated! overall experience was great! other available amenities that was included were indoor pool and fitness center, I would highly recommend this hotel for a family vacation stay!
We've stayed at this motel several times and have always been completely satisfied. It's nice and clean, quiet and well managed. Their breakfast area is exceptionally clean and they offer a nice variety of items to choose from. A nice hot breakfast to get you going in the morning.
The young women at the desk was from St. Louis. She was so friendly and excited that we are from STL. We checked in a little late. The room was large, clean and nicely updated. We would stay there again. Breakfast was fine. No complains about anything.
We attended the National finals horseshow in Tulsa. We stayed in this hotel for 10 nights. Very nice place, the drawback was that it is being renovated and updated. The place looked a bit tried but was very clean Once it is completed it will be a 10. The staff was great
Stay here somewhat frequently. Close to the Expo center (go for horse shows.) Like the size of the rooms, appreciate having refrigerator & microwave. Some rooms are in better condition, but all have been clean.
This hotel was being remodeled, but it was quiet & the staff was very helpful. Clean & close to major freeway. However, the streets intersecting in this area made the hotel difficult to locate. There were several restaurants within walking distance, including The Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesdays, & McDonalds. There was some traffic noise at night due to close proximity to major freeway, but not bad/
This was our fifth stop on Route 66 and the hotel was much like the other's - clean, comfortable beds and a good night's sleep! The rooms were of a good size and were equipped with microwaves, refrigerators and coffee machines. The bathrooms were functional and clean and came with the usual bathroom freebies. There is an indoor pool at the hotel but we had no time to try it out. Breakfast was included but we didn't have any.
Nikki was a great help in getting the reservations. Rooms and hotel was excellent. It was easy to get to anywhere in south and west Tulsa and Broken Arrow, Many close restaurants and close to both freeways.
While this hotel is a little difficult to get to from the highway, it was well worth the effort! The manager when we arrived was very interested in helping us with a non-hotel matter! The room was very comfortable! Good assortment of restaurants nearby. Finally, the next morning the desk manager showed me the easiest way to get back to the highway. Comfort and Service at a really nice price is a winning formula! Oh, and breakfast was fast and hot!
We stayed the night and it was quiet. The staff was friendly. Enjoyed the breakfast. There was a good variety. Relaxing stay. Located right off the highway with a variety of restaurants close by. Would recommend this location to anyone traveling and needing a place to stay for the night
The hotel lobby was decorated very nice, the lady behind the counter was friendly and checkin was quick. Stayed in room 201. Upon arrival noticed alot of stains on the carpet, which looked very outdated. The room did appear to have new (or semi up to date) lamps and bedding, however furniture was old and showing signs of wear and tear. Once I looked in bathroom I noticed the floor had marks and dirt and there was a hair stuck on the wall next to commode. I checked the linens which appeared clean, however had at least one hole in the bed spread. Of course I felt that the bedding probably was not clean just due to the fact thay the bathroom was not cleaned well. Overall, the price was cheap, staff was friendly and bed was comfy. I cannot comment on the breakfast because we did not partake. I can, however add that the cereal was in the containers at 10 pm when we arrived. I personally would not stay here again due to the lack of cleanliness, but that's me.
We stopped here on our way to Cleveland and were happy with the room. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable with no odors or surprises. The price was equally good for what was received. The only real thing that could be changed is the breakfast, maybe more choices.
Was driving cross country and only stayed here for about 5 hours. Just needed to get some sleep and a quick shower before we headed back on the road. The room was clean. The shower hot and that was all I needed.
We stopped here on our way to Cleveland and were happy with the room. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable with no odors or surprises. The price was equally good for what was received. The only real thing that could be changed is the breakfast, maybe more choices.
We stayed four nights at the hotel from Friday night to Tuesday morning. The Friday night and Saturday night on the second floor had strong smells of vomit and beer. We were even greeted by a prostitute in her nightgown hanging out in the hallway Saturday night. On Sunday afternoon, they cleaned up the place and the smells were gone. If you have a family, I would strongly reserve on the first floor, especially Friday or Saturday night. The breakfast was fine and the staff is very courteous. The room is average.
We had problems from the start. We got our room key and went upstairs. The key did not work. My wife stayed with our luggage and I went downstairs to get a new key. The smell of smoke was so strong and I mentioned it to the desk clerk. She gave us a new room. We had booked a king suite with a sofa but it is on the upper floor where the smoking rooms are and we couldn't handle the smoke smell. Even on the 2nd floor where we were moved into a regular king room (not an suite with a couch) we could still smell the smoke but it was not as strong. We paid for the suite and were not given any kind of a refund. If that is how Best Western treats its customers we will not be back. Then when we went to turn in our keys the next morning there was no one at the desk, or anywhere that we could see, to turn the keys in to. If that is how Best Western treats its customers we will not be back.
We have stayed in this hotel 4-5 times over 3 years. We like it very much. Great breakfast choices. It has an indoor pool and an exercise area. Laundry machines are available as well. The office and desk staff are very helpful with directions around Tulsa.
This was a quick one night stay for three of us traveling through Tulsa on our way to Little Rock AFB. The staff were courteous and professional, and the room was just right for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was pretty basic. The selection was decent and the dining area was clean. As we left, we asked for directions to make sure we were getting back on the right track. The employee working the front desk literally walked outside with us to make sure we understood her directions. Definitely went above and beyond!
the staff was friendly; room was clean, carpet needed replaced, and the hall way smelled BAD with stale smoke. I would stay here again but ask for a room on first floor where all rooms were smoke free.
We spent a couple of nights here while picking up our son from the University of Tulsa. It is just over a ten minute drive to TU. Beds were comfy and the breakfast was satisfying with enough variety. STaff were friendly and kept the dining room well stocked and clean
Room was very clean. The hotel is remodeling so there were wet floor signs placed in the lobby. The work-out room was undergoing some renovations and was not open. However, the staff was very pleasant. Comfortable beds and fresh linens.
All in all good experience. Took into consideration that hotel was being renovated. Had issue with being assigned to a room that had not been cleaned but the clerk handled this quickly and appropriately.
We arrived just after a storm and were glad to have reservations as many locals were finding places to stay since they had no power. The staff was very friendly. The rooms clean and adequate. The free breakfast was marginal. The variety was limited. The area was the responsibility of the front desk, which left the eating area unattended at times.
We stopped at this hotel on the way to Branson. We had a great handicapped room with rails on the walls and a flat surfaced roll in shower. We enjoyed the stay so much that we scheduled the same room as we returned back toward Arizona...even asked and received the same room. We will definitely stay at this hotel if we are back through the Tulsa area.
We like the Best Western Plus hotels. It is a great place to stay. Rooms were very clean, close to restaurants and the staff at the front desk was very helpful. It was a little tricky trying to find in the dark. Other than that A+ We would stay there again.
The staff was friendly and courteous. The bed was decent. The ac was barely adequate and had to run wide open, full time to keep the room comfortable. The shower had decent water pressure. There was a dirty wash cloth hanging in the bathroom when we arrived. My wife also found a dirty hand towel folded and hung up with the clean towels.
They are putting a few new touches on this Motel, but the friendly staff is the same, as are the perks like the free breakfast, indoor pool, workout room, business center, and free Wi-Fi. Conveniently located, nearly any part of Tulsa is just a few minutes away. Several nice restaurants are just a few feet away, We can't wait to come back and see all the improvements and fresh paint.
Staff were excellent in meeting our accommodation needs during this extended power outage. Check-n staff were of great assistance to me and to others in my same situation. They even called one of their guests that was booked into a handicapped friendly room to see if they actually required a barrier free room or if they could switch to another guest room. That to me embodied their commitment to quality customer service.
On our way to CA we stopped here for a night. Got a room with no working AC but Lady on a reception was very helpful and moved us to another room. Gym was not open due to remodeling I guess but they gave us a pass to a nearby gym but you need to drive there. So we went to a pool. Pool is pretty small and only 4ft deepest. In general all place looks like under remodeling. Overall it was ok to stay for a night. Btw, breakfast was not bad at all.
Nice Hotel, Clean, spoke to many people who returned here time and time again, Full breakfast, coffee in the rooms and many restaurants close by. Highly recommended if Nikki is on the front desk, Spoiled rotten by her !! and helped with further reservations for my trip. Give her a promotion !! No I did not pay for this..
One of the worst hotels for Best Western. Very old and out dated. In need of overall maintenance paint, carpet, caulking etc.Hard to find. Lobby was full of construction dust after workers left and wasn't cleaned up until morning breakfast.
We stayed here instead of my parents place. Good call, even with the construction going on in the hotel, we were able to relax and enjoy the King Sized Bed with a Hot Tub right in the room. We choose smoking because of reasons. It was great. Clean Room, good times!
Hotel was under renovation in lobby and other common areas. We were disappointed that we couldn't use the fitness center. Other than that, the room, the Internet, the breakfast, all met the stds we expect from a BW+
Very satified with my stay at the Best Western Plus. Enjoyed the quiteness, no out side noice, Pillows, and bed were very conforable. Location was perfect for me, as this is the area I knew growing up here in the fifties.
It must be said that the lobby and other common areas were being renovated on Sunday 6/19 and the associate at the desk said that they would be undergoing renovation for three more weeks, so say through the middle of July. The only amenity we planned to use but couldn't was the fitness room. It's becoming kind of a gripe for me that hotel company websites, as well as the Pricelines and Expedias of the world aren't telling me the info I really need to make good decisions. But that being said, this BW+ was clean, and quiet. The pool was fine, though not big enough to swim laps. We did water aerobics instead. I was able to hook my own widget to the television. The room was well laid and we got a good sleep. The breakfast was fine.
There's a number of hotels in this area, but for the price this was a really good choice. Clean, newer, lots of parking, near restaurants, freeway accessible. I could do a 5 rating cause of remodeling going on. But it was no big problem for us.
This hotel is so conveniently located....15 minutes from the Gilcrease and the Philbrook Museums. The staff is helpful in planning your eating places and the routes to take to various venues. The room was large and so comfy. Although it is near a major freeway, it is surprisingly quiet. It's very clean and the breakfast items offered are fresh. I'll stay there again.
We checked in at about 9:45 pm and the lady at the front desk was very nice; which, after a motorcycle ride on a busy interstate in town always helps your mood. She apologized for the renovation of the lobby and explained the timing of the free breakfast in the morning and where the temporary location was to be. The rooms and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable. Also, extremely important in the summer, the air-conditioning was working well. The breakfast was good and the room converted to a dining room was fine under the circumstances. It would've been nice to have been advised of the renovation on the trip advisor website before booking, but it didn't affect our stay. We had a very pleasant experience.
I have stayed at this hotel before and will again when passing through Tulsa. However, hotel this time was in process of renovation and is somewhat dusty with work equipment in corner. Breakfast area has been moved and pool was unuseable.
Love the hotel, Good price, comfortable bed, clean room, good breakfast. Lobby is under construction right now, but once it is fixed everything will be fine. Very easy to find from the expressway. Good restaurants nearby.
This is the first time we use Best Western, and we are very pleased with the staff's service and friendliness. The room is clean, and the bed is exceptionally comfortable. It is also of good value. We will come back again.
We came mostly to go to Costco for shopping as where we live there is no Costco so we always travel and stay overnight,I brought my cooler bag full of frozen gel bags which they where only too happy to store in their freezers for my next day travel home. The room was immaculate we where very happy with it and will go back to this Hotel in the future.
Again, I was pleased with the Best Western. 150 cable stations, including Showtime. Fridge, micro-wave, and coffee maker make the stay very pleasant. I recommend, as a traveler, that you look for a Best Western.
The biggest reason this unit didn't rate higher was housekeeping. The check-in was OK - and the front part of the unit clean and bright. The room itself, like so many hotel rooms, was under lit. Housekeeping did not leave coffee packets and then the front desk couldn't find the right kind to fit the coffee maker. Really? Then our toothpaste disappeared. Not sure what happened to it but it was not to be found. Not a major problem but makes you wonder, doesn't it.
Great bed, large fluffy bath towels. and the room is always immaculate. Wake up service is very helpful, Afternoon cookies are a real treat for me, too. I did my laundry as I was away for home for over a week. The machines work great. This is helpful for my travels.
The Best Western is nothing special but ok for a short stay. The rooms are ok only the old carpets are smelling a little bit. Everything is a little bit old fashioned but still ok. The breakfast is also typical continental style.
We were only there one night but we had everything we needed there. It was clean and the staff friendly. However, the kids were disappointed we didn't get to try out the pool. Easy access to both I-44 & Hwy 51.
Had to stay a little longer and gave us a better rate. Thanks. Overall this is a Great Hotel. So glad that I could find someplace that allows smoking, again Thanks. A little hard to find, but with the help of David found it okay. Will stay again. Thanks
The hotel was clean, attractive, well furnished, tech friendly, had a business center, the breakfast was good and well presented. The entire place was clean and made you feel comfortable, safe, and at home. The showers work well as did everything else in the 5 rooms i rented for this trip. The desk staff were professional in appearance and demeanor. They seemed happy that our group was there. The cleaning staff were friendly and went about their business without being the way or disrupting our use of the rooms.
Great location, just off the interstate and very quiet. This Best Western is also very clean and comfortable. Its located in a cluster of other hotels and within walking distance to the Cracker Barrel and other places to eat and shop. Breakfast was better than most. Will stay here again when in the area.
Our stay at the Best Western in Tulsa was a welcome rest from a long trip. We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable, and the staff helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good and had many choices. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. The location is rather hard to drive into because of the traffic and many motels in the area. There are several good restaurants in the area.
Great property, has everything you need for a business trip. Easy to access from interstate. WiFi great. Observed the breakfast bar attendant, always friendly with guests, great at keeping the breakfast bar inviting in appearance and product.
My friend, her dog, and I arrived in Tulsa after 27 hours of drive time over 3 days, ready for the National Championships. We had a reservation at the Tulsa Best Western on S. 79th Street. You can imagine our surprise when there was a “no pets allowed” sign in the lobby. Every dog friendly hotel was sold out so being turned away could have been catastrophic. My friend explained that she received the list of pet friendly hotels via email and chose this one. Laura Beltran at the front desk said she was unaware that this property had been included in the pet friendly list, but she wasn't about to turn us out. She approved our stay and even gave us two rooms on the ground floor. But that wasn't enough: the next day my friend and her dog left early for practicing, thinking that I could take a shuttle. Well, the hotel has no shuttle and all the taxis were booked. Not a problem for Laura! She grabbed her keys and drove me to the venue with the least amount of trouble. At the end of the day, hotels are similar……it is the people who make them remarkable and in this case Laura certainly did that. It was our pleasure to stay with Best Western in Tulsa.
Extremely nice staff, beautiful room, very clean and quiet!! I will definitely stay at this Best Western if I come back to Tulsa! One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and definitely recommend it!
I had to stay for a business trip, but everything was ready when I arrived. The hotel had a business area, fitness room, sauna, washer & dryer area, and indoor pool. Rooms were nice, not over the top special, but adequate for my needs.
The lobby and pool area was very nice and had been updated. The staff was great. The rooms however were very outdated and it didn't seem as though they had been cleaned very well. What had been updated in the bathrooms was done very poorly and our shower barely worked even though it had been updated. It was a great location however.
Just stayed 4 nights there with a few buddies. Very clean, comfortable beds, very helpful staff, and a fantastic hot breakfast included. They need to keep pop machines stocked. But otherwise, great spot. And a Ruby Tuesday's nearby! I'd stay there again next time I'm in Tulsa.
Stopped here very road weary enroute to NM from MI. They only had one room left, the Handicap room, we quickly took it. With military discount, it was $100. The room was clean, well appointed and smelled really clean to. It appeared updated and we enjoyed the stay. The front desk was very accommodating, friendly and pleasant. We would stay here again.
Had a very enjoyable staff. Staff was helpful & courteous, room was clean, bed comfortable, had a Jacuzzi Suite-loved it. Building was quiet. Breakfast could have been better, but overall great stay. Much less expensive than many other places in the area. I would certainly stay here again.
They had great knowledgeable Staff. Very helpful. They not only knew their job, but went over and beyond to make your stay easier. They were Very professional, friendly and considerate. Hotel was very clean, comfortable beds with up to date linen, small exercise room and small suana, indoor pool and good wifi!!!
Not a four star hotel, but clean, comfortable, and good selection of amenities. Check in was smooth. The room was clean and elegant. Close to the highway, making it easy to get to. Acceptable eating options close by.
This is the third time I have stayed at Best Western in Tulsa and every time it has been excellent. The staff are amazing and the rooms are very clean and spacious. The rates are great too. Highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Tulsa!
We had to go to Tulsa for a tournament and decided to book a room for the weekend with a king bed and whirlpool tub. The tub was not really big enough for 2 people and a minute or 2 after turning off the spout, hot water would start pouring out of it again. They also have a knob on the wall to turn it on for a max of 15 minutes, so if you expect to stay in longer then you have to keep jumping out to turn it back to 15. I found a red candy on the floor by the bed and a grey bobby pin on the counter by the coffee pot. One of the lamps by the bed did not work, and when I set the alarm for Sunday morning, it never went off. Thankfully we were not in a rush to check out and I actually woke up about 10 minutes before the alarm was supposed to go off. We only had the continental breakfast on Sunday morning which was okay but not great. They had scrambled eggs, ham, hard boiled eggs, biscuits, gravy(no sausage), bread to toast, bagels, mini blueberry muffins, 3 types of cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, make your own waffle station, coffee, milk, tea, cocoa, and juice. The staff was always friendly. The people in the room next to us did a lot of running and stomping, I think it was a family with adjoining rooms maybe.
Check in with front desk associate was cordial and friendly. Hotel details were explained in a welcoming manner. Lobby area was very clean at all times of the day or night. Our room was very comfortable. This hotel met all of our expectations. The location was close to everything we needed. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. Free self-parking and breakfast glad we decided to stay here.
Great stay, great rooms, great beds and bath towels are thick and fluffy. Oh , don't forget the fresh cookies baked at 3:30 each afternoon. Yummmmmm. BGW Tulsa is like my home away from home. I am 82 years old and I need a quality night's sleep.
This motel was a nice stopping point for us. It is clean and has modern amenities. The bed was comfortable and the room appeared clean. The only issue is that if you want a sound proof room...don't stay here!! We heard every door that was shut. It was nice to have a microwave and fridge. The breakfast was tasty and well done. The pool was clean and was a plus for the grandkids. Had to ask for towels since there were none. I would recommend this place to spend the night.
I am in the hotel as I write this review. Hotel is clean with modern amenities. Internet speed is decent enough to do work or watch YouTube. My suite has 2 tv's and HD! The breakfast is good with plenty of choices for everyone. The bed in my king suite is a lil to firm for my taste but I still got a decent amount of sleep. The furniture in the room is clean and not stained like you see in many hotels. This BW offers smoking rooms which is why I chose it. Smokers do have rights in this country and I'm glad that they respect that here. Guest laundry is $1 wash n $1 dry. Washing machine is clean and so is dryer. Couldn't be happier with my stay!
I stayed at the Best Western Plus Tulsa Inn & Suites January 7th thru 9th 2016 in Room 103. The grab Bar in the shower was not attached to anything and came off in my hand when I went to use it, and there were roaches crawling on the walls when I woke up for my flight in the morning. The room was noisy and the guests in the next room tried to open the adjoining room suite door, which was very unsettling. I will make a note never to stay there again. It doesn't deserve a rating of one.
Location is great for travelers. Major interstate access within a mile. Surrounded by several "chain" restaurants. Ruby Tuesday is a quick walk across the parking lot (if weather permits). Clean lobby, small business center (2 computers). I got a king "suite" with jacuzzi tub. Luckily my room was at the very end of a dead end hall (Rm 221). The other end had all the soda machines, elevators, stairs and ice. Would've been too noisy for me. The jacuzzi tub was a bit small. Perfect for one person but unless there are two short, skinny, people, fitting a 2nd would be cramped. The jacuzzi tub was in the room and not the bathroom. I liked that a lot. The bed was nice. All else pretty standard, like fridge and micro. Every staff person was pleasant, I was given a late checkout. Everything seemed cleaned. Typical continental breakfast, with waffles, but the area is open all night and they keep yogurt in the fridge, and plastic wear and utensils. I didn't use the pool but it seems a bit small - 4ft at its deepest. A small exercise room (4 pieces of equipment, some weights) but a great plus,; there is a nice little sauna attached. Loved it!!!! It was a great stay, well priced and I will be back.
Appreciate having smoking rooms available. The staff are very helpful and friendly. A good value and well located in central Tulsa area, near major roads and a variety of shopping and dining options nearby. Good complimentary breakfast.
Three years ago I went to Best Western and have been very pleased over other places I have stayed. Front desk is always friendly and helpful, breakfast is variety and good quality. I will never stay at any other motel/hotel again.
My stay at the Best Western Plus Tulsa Inn & Suites was very enjoyable. It was quiet and pleasant. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and kind. I enjoyed the use of their fitness room. I will most definitely stay here on my return trip.
Tried to use BW Unit Points for stay - front desk didnt know how to use them. Had to leave the hotel and come back another weekend because there were no other rooms available. One thing after another was awful!
We recently stayed at this hotel for a family visit to Tulsa. For what we paid, we feel cheated. We stayed at a very comparable Ramada in Tulsa which was much cheaper and was exactly the same. How so you ask? Aging hotels with bathtubs with black stuff in the corners, waffle makers that have no oil so they come out in pieces, scuffed furniture, and bedspreads with holes in them. We spent two nights here and sorry we will not be back. This hotel is not worth what we paid usually Best Westerns can be counted on but not this one.
Pleasant staff upon check-in. Room was clean. Kids enjoyed the pool. The pool is a little small but still big enough for the kids to enjoy it. Wish they had a hot tub though. Good selection at breakfast. Only dislike about the breakfast was the very small butter packets and the fact that they were cold.
This hotel's manager is rude and continues to lie about contacting us about double billing. They don't mind canceling people's reservations and then just leaves it up to you to find other accommodations. If you can afford to pay double for a room then this is your place.
The staff that runs the property is very nice. Full hot breakfast. Complementary bottled water in the rooms. Large, spacious rooms & very competitive rates. we just stayed here one night then moved to another hotel. Boy do I wish we had stayed here. Indoor pool, friendly staff, clean rooms. Tons of amenities!
They lost our reservation on a very busy weekend. We luckily found out the day before, but they offered no assistance or compensation. I politely explained that we would be in town and had no accommodation now (we searched on our own prior to calling Best Western). I am not so much upset that they lost our reservation--a worker there made a mistake and that happens--I am upset at the horrible customer service I received in regard to this. At first I was provided with the phone number to another Best Western without them even offering to call for me. I called and they were booked. I called back I asked to speak to the general manager and she offered no assistance or help other than saying she would reserve a room for us should there be a cancellation. There was no apology for the inconvenience or offer to make it right at any point.
This Best Western is so attractive, clean, attractive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely make reservations here again. We have already told my friend who is leaving for a trip East tomorrow.
A nice, quiet motel convenient to the interstate. Clean rooms/bathrooms with nice furnishings. Comfortable beds. Typical motel breakfast but good tasting foods. Helpful staff. No problems staying at this motel!
I was pleased to find this hotel. The room was large and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is a little dated, but clean. It was definitely worth the price. The breakfast was good, too.
We arrived on Thursday and checked out on Friday night at 10 pm due to finding a roach crawling in the bathroom. Although we were only charged for 1 night and we were supposed to stay 3 nights. The hotel is older and the furniture is frayed nit only in the rooms but front desk as well. We checked out of Best Western and into the Embassy Suite down the road. The breakfast was shabby as well, with white bread (only) being served in baggies. I guess with the roach problem that's best.
We checked in very late and we were really tired. The gal at the front desk was so nice. She was quick and got us a great rate. It was a last minute unexpected trip and she just made it super easy for us.
Delicious Full Hot Breakfast. Very clean, up to date, rooms with comfortable beds! Loved the jacuzzi in the room! Very courteous and helpful staff! Will stay here again next time we travel through the area!
This is a relatively new hotel on the edge of downtown in a great city. The rooms are clean, staff friendly and good breakfast and wifi. There is nothing that can be done about this but the bathrooms are very small. The hotel is well located for the major attractions which are accessible by car. Don't try walking!
