A great one night stop off in Tirano. Irina on reception couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and great value; one of the best we have had. Overall, great location, comfortable rooms and friendly staff

Dao the evening receptionist was excellent. Warm, welcoming ,engaging and so helpful regarding dining and other information. We have had so many wonderful receptionists but Dao is one of the very best. The hotel is immaculate and centrally placed. The best Best Western we have stayed in .

Our favourite hotel on our tour of Italy. So friendly. The hotel is well placed in Tirano for the train station and good places to eat and drink. Rooms are really comfortable and the breakfast second to none.

Hotel Centrale was perfect for myself as a solo cyclist. Breakfast was excellent, service and staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was perfect just outside of the center of Tirano. Affordable, and will be planning a return visit. I didn't get to use the spa facilities but next time I will stay longer and do so!

Overall a tired building that would benefit from a complete refurbishment, however an extremely proficient and engaging front desk team

Nice enough hotel generally but the air con didn't work in our room, so 24.5 degrees overnight.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff in a very nice part of town go for a walk around theback streets of the hotel very interesting, we stayed in five hotels on our trip between Genova and Milan over the alps on the glacier and Bernina expresses and this was the back hotel by far

Found this gem on our trip through Italy into St Moritz. Would have loved to stay longer and enjoy the spa and continue exploring the town. Great hospitality and services all around. Very ample rooms. Bed was harder than expected but still had a good nights sleep. Definitely recommend the location.

We had a wonderful stay here for sadly just one night in Feb 2026; the hotel is modern inside but very traditional from the outside. Its in a great location off a square with a church and cafes. And there are great places to eat and drink just down the street or further into town. Tirano is a lovely place to visit

This hotel was perfectly located - 10 mins walk from the train station and in a lovely, narrow cobbled street area. Irena ,the receptionist, provided us with a lovely welcome and was very informative about our hotel stay and giving recommendations on places to eat. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I travelled with my partner and we were celebrating our 60th birthdays and on our arrival we had been given a room upgrade, birthday scroll, chocolates and a glass of fizz which were lovely touches. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was comfy. Our European travel adapters only fitted one plug socket in the room but this seemed to be a current theme on this trip & not exclusive to this hotel. The bathroom was clean with a jacuzzi bath and toiletries were provided. Breakfast was included in our stay and there was a large array of delicious foods to have including hot and cold food all presented nicely. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

This was one of the hotels on our holiday that I wasn't sure about and the options seemed pretty thin in Tirano. If we return again I will look further. It was fine but we didn't love it. When we arrived the receptionist was amazing..so warm, friendly and helpful with our luggage. She also gently suggested (and she was right ) that we should reserve a taxi for the nest day when we go to the train station. It's slightly more than the advertised 10 minutes and the cobbles are not for the faint hearted. I was surprised with a 10.00am checkout but we were assured to take our time …as long as we were out by 11.00am. We got a phone call at 10.20am!! This is the earliest checkout we have had in our month long holiday. It was also strange that they are a Best Western Hotel but not super connected. In fact all the internal branding is another chain. She also said my booking came from an unusual Italian Travel agent when I had booked via the Best Western Website . Onto the bathroom. The toilet was running water when we entered the room. The towels were fabulous…the fluffiest of our holiday. The shower was a shower over the bath (unlike the photos of the room I thought I had booked) and there was no handrail to assist entry and exist. It WAS a nice looking spa bath but we didn't require that. Disappointingly the room was super hot. The air con wouldn't cool and we cooled by opening windows (which required closing when trucks started moving around in the early hours ). Every time we left the room it reverted to heating!! The location is fabulous in the old town and it is much more attractive and has better and more authentic dining options than those right near the station. Apparently there is a spa ( we weren't aware of it at booking ) but at €50.00 to use it we didn't take it up. Breakfast is in a pretty but tiny room and it was nothing special. Items ran out and I didn't see replacements but this may have been because the one very busy staff member didn't have time to- or space!! Since checkout I completed a review sent to me by Best Western. Since then I keep getting request from the hotel itself. I've e mailed saying they are annoying me and I have already provided feedback. They have not resolved that. It's a functional hotel, clean and comfortable. The room was spacious enough for us both to open suitcases ( as we weren't going to unpack for one night ). I like its location. Some of the failings can be easily resolved and some like room temperature and interfere with Best Western require some investment.

The hotel is a short walk from the station(arrived off the Bernina Express). Pleasant, helpful staff, good breakfast. Room clean and warm.

Great modern hotel in the centre of Turano. Staff is friendly and professional, breakfast was. Excellent and spa area and a massage is highly recommended: Giulia has been an excellent and very professional masseuse, one of the best massages I have ever had.

Great location, great staff and a really comfortable hotel. Staff were really welcoming (Irene). Rooms were really comfortable. We had lovely mountain views. There was plenty for breakfast and it was tasty. Be prepared for the church bells to ring until 10pm and then start at 7am and the odd barking dog. We would definitely stay there again

We stayed in this hotel as part of a trip through Switzerland and Italy. We found ourselves in need of help due to an unforseen issue as a result of a rail strike and the staff could not have been more helpful in assisting us. The room we stayed in was very spacious and of good quality with a lovely bathroom and spa bath. Air con worked well. Staff were very attentive. Breakfast was of good quality and an excellent range of food. Overall a very good experience.

Located in the old section of town with many convenient options for dining nearby. The rooms were very large and the hotel had a spa as well. The breakfast was very good and everything was quite reasonably priced. The staff was wonderful.

This is a lovely hotel. Placed in the centre of tirano on the back streets where it is quiet. The room was nice, breakfast was good. Staff were lovely and attentive making our stay very enjoyable.butsca pity we weren't there for longer. Only 10 minutes from the station

A wonderful stay at this sweet, small hotel in the center of old town Tirano. Convenient to restaurants, shopping and a short walk to the Bernina Express. Nicely appointed rooms, an amazing staff and fair prices make this a great place to stay.

Hotel Centrale was a wonderful hotel to stay in whilst visiting Tirano. Staff were very helpful at check in and in their recommendations for dining. Our room was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately there were areas of the hotel where an unpleasant smell was present

Very cozy hotel with a family like atmosphere. The rooms are very comfortable and equipped with all necessary amenities. Centrally located, it makes it easy to wonder around Tirano. The staff was very friendly and responsive to all of our requests. Breakfast includes a variety of choices and service was perfect. The ideal stop over if you want to explore this part of the Alps with the Bernina red train.

Such friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make us welcome. A gorgeous and comfortable room in this lovely hotel in Tirano's older area. It is a quick walk from the station and a very comfortable place to stay. Great breakfast too!
