Terrific complementary breakfast buffer, super clean and well-maintained rooms with microwave and mini-frig, plenty of towels and hot water, free internet. My double-queen room even had a sofa and a coffee table for relaxing. Highly recommend.

The transition strip between the linoleum and the carpet was not intact. I slipped and fell and hurt my knee, and had to spend a whole day in urgent care and pay for the crappy room on top of it because the manager did absolutely nothing.

It difficult to feel like a valued guest when the card key won't allow entry one minute after checkout time. No towels in the pool area makes for a cold and soggy elevator ride. While the rooms are more recently remodeled the building is older and feels and smells that way.

Large room with huge bed, large flat screen tv with movie channels, fridge enclosed in a cabinet to reduce noise, microwave, iron, clock radio, several lights allowing guest to set the mood. I loved the Best Western Plus Northwind in Tigard. Their staff was incredibly accommodating to my family and I during last week's ice storm in Portland. They gave us a great room on the ground floor that was close to their indoor pool, which my children loved. The breakfast room and the amount of choice in breakfast options were incredible and made us all very happy. We used their exercise room as well, which had high quality equipment and it was never crowded. They have a lovely, friendly staff and a great manager who seems to run the place very well. Kudos!

Horrible experience with GM who checked us in. Extremely arrogant and not willing to show us a room prior booking. We always like to see before booking and commiting due to bad experience. Charged a $250 holding deposit and questioned me as to why I needed an extra blanket after we checked in. When we said ok we could book she tried to charge us more than on the BW app. Thankfully I caught it. Never offered us water even though I am a Diamond member. So don't recommend this hotel. The room had an awkward smell, a couple of lights not working and a very hard mattress. Will not stay again!

Property always great value, rooms are older but adequate and well appointed and clean.location is perfect for us near family. Breakfast is good and staff always accommodating. There is a gym and indoor pool but we did not use either.

had a late check in around 4a and the hotel got us checked as quick as possible to let us get some rest. Breakfast was great. Room was clean and quiet. the staff was amazing, always helpful and quick to assist. we were a bit needy and the hotel team made every accommodation possible. loved our stay. thank you and if we are in town again, will definitely stay again.

All the staff was super helpful and kind. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and yummy. A highlight was this wonderful on demand coffee machine with cappuccino and latte and hot chocolate and whatever hot beverage you'd like. I'll definitely stay with Best Western again.

The staff was amazing and quick to make us feel like we were at home. They always went above and beyond and made sure we were well taken care of. The rooms were very clean the amenities were great and everything else that made us feel like we were at home came as a bonus.

I am a loyal Best Western Hotel guest as most of the hotels under this brand are great stays. This one was better than the average because of the better breakfast. Hot breakfast choices included with many other choices, and great tasting hot items, not the usual bulk bland tasting stuff. Hot tub was also great. Definitely one of my favorite BW locations and I will be back.

Have been 100% satisfied with BW Plus hotels! All have been great! Welcoming, hospitality staff from Housekeeping , front desk staff to GM! Clean rooms with very nice decor and amenities, nice complimentary breakfast with hot and cold offerings! Definitely BW plus is a top choice when searching for a clean and comfortable hotel! I give them a 10 Plus!

Worker said we were smoking in room and it was a total lie. Kicked us out and charged $500 for having an unlit cigarette while looking out the window. If you like taking it in the rear stay here or want normal room just go down the road.

Was kick out of this Motel at 12:00 a.m. because they said we were smoking in the room. In fact we were going to have a cigarette but we looked out the window to see what was around us. We did not smoke a cigarette but we did outside. Now they say they're charging US $500 for smoking in the room that we did not do. They said they had cameras I asked to see the camera to prove it they said they didn't have to. Watch out this place will try to scam you out of money for any reason. Do not make a reservation with them.

The shower water was risen to your ankles by the time you're done showering My daughter's brand new Airpods and my wife's cash was missing after the room cleaning. Hotel manager didn't do anything but sent us an email saying "NOTHING WE CAN DO". We've never thought a brand name hotel chain could treat their customers such a way. Shady!

I had a double queen bed room. It was lovely. I had a sofa and coffee table along with a desk and 2 chairs. A large big screen TV. There is a limit that you can turn the TV up so as not to bother any other guests. I had a refrigerator and a microwave. There was coffee in the loby at all times.

We rented a room that had a jetted tub, and the only reason why we rented that room was for the jetted tub and it was broken. There was mold in the bathroom, broken pieces in the room, and it smelt very musty, and on top of that we booked through the company and nothing was stated that the hot tub and swimming pool was down and it was when we got there

The staff like to harass their customers and follow them around. The rooms are in poor quality and I have stayed here numerous times. They also like to lock all the doors including the main and then when you try to get back in. You can't find staff.

We were traveling for a medical appointment. This hotel is within easy driving distance of the Portland VA Medical Clinic. It was the most comfortable room we have stayed in for a long time. The desk clerk that was on duty Thursday and Friday was very friendly and did a great job! The breakfast provided was really good. There was a large variety of items available, and food was tasty.

I visit the Tigard area a few times a year for work and I always enjoy staying here. The staff is very friendly and remember me when I return. This not only makes me feel welcome, but it also makes me safe as I travel alone frequently.

Picked this Best Western hotel to have a quick stay overnight to be able to avoid traffic the next morning for outpaitent surgery in the area. Very clean hotel and rooms. Very happy with our king size spa room. Only problem we had was that the spa was malfunctioning and not producing bubbles. Informed front desk right away and they discounted our bill to accomodate the problem. Husband enjoyed the hot items offered at breakfast. Well lit parking lot. Convient access to highway.

I've been going to this hotel now for the past 6 months, and this is the first time ive encountered an issue. Sunday I reported that the water was coming out yellow in the bath and sink to the front desk clerk, he informed me he would reach out to maintenance. Tuesday came around and no maintenance, so I talked to the clerk again, he said he would send someone. Wednesday came and no maintenance. Went to the front desk and he said i'm sorry, he covers 5 other locations. My last night he offered me a different room, I was like why didn't you offer me a different room the first night? He gave me no response. I went to my room and the following morning I checked out. When I arrived on Sunday night, the clerk wasn't dressed professional, and looked like a slob. Not sure what has changed in the passed month, but their professionalism and customer services has gone down. I don't think i will be staying at this location again,

When you stay at a hotel, you don't expect there to be a swarm of police officers and trafficking going on a few doors down. This was definitely not a location that I will be staying at again as the safety was obviously not the best and it was just my daughter, myself and her best friend. At 11:30 at night when this activity is going on, there's not really much you can do to find another hotel either! And to add to this, to have the hotel Asst. Mgr. tell you that they won't give you a refund and that "this is a public place"???? Very unprofessional.

The beds are wonderful!!! Always a good night sleep followed by a good breakfast. The breakfast has many choices to choose from. We like being on the top floor and the staff goes out of their way to make sure we get a room there.

I was so pleased with this hotel. From the staff at the front desk to the people cleaning the rooms, they were friendly and helpful. The suite was roomy, clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!

The room was clean, staff friendly and accommodating, large suite with a large size mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Bed was comfortable and so were the pillows after we learned we need to stretch them out from how the maids bunched them up. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired, but not any worse than the typical hotel at this price range. Over all good comfort and good value for the money and very friendly staff. Will book again.

Pleasant staff. Nice facility. Good value. On busy road, but central to everything. No complaints. Would prefer an earlier breakfast option (before 7am), but that won't keep me from booking another stay if I need to be in town again.

We stayed at this hotel because we were visiting family in King City; it was convenient. Otherwise, nothing special about the location. The room was clean and comfortable, as it should be at about $200 per night. Hot breakfast is included but was somewhat of a disaster both days we stayed; few items were available. Honestly wish I'd gone across the street to McDonald's. Overpriced for a pretty generic suburban property, but it did meet our needs for this visit.

The hotel is perfectly located for the highway, and for leisure/dining options, but we found the gentleman on the reception desk to not be the friendliest. Our friends had a problem with their room, which was strange one - but immediately resolved. All the other staff we encountered were very friendly. The breakfast offering consists of a voucher for the McDonald's opposite, but they had no coffee available (note that the hotel does offer complimentary coffee). Our room was very comfortable and the shower was good. I'd definitely recommend a visit to the leisure centre - the hot tub and pool were both very clean. We'd stay here again if in the area.

Everything about this hotel is great except the beds. As a result and because it is a crucial element to any hotel stay, I wouldn't personally return to this hotel because of the bedding. Everything else was terrific and I would have given it 5 stars. There were 4 people in my group and all have the same opinion on this.

The staff are genuinely friendly, caring, and helpful! The room was very nice, very clean. Rates are very reasonable and include breakfast, a pool, a hot tub, really nice toiletries (they are surprisingly high quality and smell fantastic!) We enjoyed our stay and will return when in this area!

The hotel is conveniently located near many eateries and shops. I would give 10 stars to cleanliness and to the pleasant and efficient staff. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet. The mattresses and bedding are clean and comfy.

Great staff, friendly and polite. coffee was really good, just wish that the breakfast area was not being renovated and had a better option than McDonalds coupons for breakfast and that horrible McDonalds coffee. Healthier option would have been nice. the inhouse coffee was good too.

We like this Best Western location in Tigard as its convenient to connect to various highways that connects through Portland (the Coast, to downtown Portland & south to Salem). There are also many shops we frequent such as Fred Meyer, Costco, H-Mart and Washington Square/Bridgeport Mall.

I doubt my husband or myself will ever recover from our stay in this hotel. My husband rolled over in bed only to touch a mini torch used to heat meth spoons. We were terrified, wondering if there were also used needles around. We asked for a refund in the morning, to which we were coldly told by the female manager that”the beds had been changed”. If the bedding had been changed, wouldn't they have found the torch instead of us? She then tried to define our horror by saying “it didn't affect your stay.” What? Neither one of us slept the whole night, just waiting for morning to come to show the paraphernalia to them and request a refund. To add insult to injury, she told us that “maybe” she would give us a discount at our next stay. Really? Our next stay? Maybe? We left the heater with her, but have good pictures to show the corporate office when I contact them. In nearly 50 years of staying in motels, 100 years combined, never have we experienced such insulting behavior from a manager, let alone finding drug paraphernalia. What is her problem! She is a disservice to Best Western and should not be working with the public. John and Joan Bausher

Far from a pleasant experience at this hotel. At check in. I suspected the desk clerk may have been “self-medicating”. He didn't have the appearance of being someone who was sober. After one customer left, disgusted, without being taken care of and another stepped out of line saying he would return later, the desk clerk excused himself for several minutes to walk back into the office “for a scream”, which he did. When he returned, he issued a room to the customer ahead of me, informing him he didn't know for sure if the room had been cleaned and if there were any problems please return to the desk. I was then issued a room with the same warning. However, I was initially told Room #324 but given a key card to Room #315. When I mentioned this to the clerk, he apologized saying Room #324 was a mistake. I proceeded to the room thinking I had heard him tell the previous customer they were in Room #315, Exiting the elevator, I ran into this customer and verified we had been issued the same room. I returned to the desk, thankful to find another desk clerk entering the building. Stephanie quickly took over, asked for our patience while she got the housekeeping situation sorted out, then issued me a room. She was very efficient and deserves to be commended. Next we have the Full Breakfast issue. A Full Breakfast was indicated on the reservation, for which I would have expected a slightly increased room rate. But, there was no breakfast at all. There were no signs posted in the lobby or on the Breakfast Room door to indicate this. However, the Breakfast Room door was open and I was able to walk in. If not for the actions of Stephanie and being given an adequate room to sleep in, this hotel experience would have been a total failure. I would have to think long and hard before considering another stay here and recommending the same to other customers.

Started with Amy Utter cussing at my wife, then the roofing started and things fell from ceiling (plaster dust, fire alarm, bathroom soaps). Asked to move but was told no. Asked to talk to manager and manager was “unavailable” (according to Amy). Stuck in room where roofing continued for rest of stay. Also reeked if marijuana up and down hallways at night. Just a polished turd. That's all that place is.

front desk women (forgot her name) was AL:WAYS present, caring, considerate. we had occasion to also interact with Jared and "the plumber" both of whom helped us retrieve one of my wife's diamond earrings from the sink drain! they were phenomenal!!!!

After checking in we're told that they don't serve breakfast becasue they can't get the help. SO instead, we had to come to their office everyday to pick up a "McDonald's Voucher" YUCK!! The, we had to drive almost a 1/2 mile to get to the restaurant, then wait in a 20 minute line to tell us that the voucher does not include coffee!! Terrible and totally unacceptable to Best Western Plus members...not to mention, totally condescending. McDonald's food is unhealthy and we were limited wo what we could get with these silly vouchers. Avoid this place as they were not very friendly upon our check in....

We book this BW because of the location & that it was a "Plus" (NOT) & since we had 3 adults it offered a suite w/ 3 beds & 2 bathrooms. NEVER AGAIN!! Checking in was fine & the gal @ the desk was friendly. The rooms appeared clean & comfortable, but @ closer look, there was black hair in the tub & folded in a couple of towels. The microwave was missing the glass tray leaving it unusable (& never replaced, even after telling the front desk). Toilet kept backing up & took 3 days to fix completely! Beds were pretty hard. To top it off, the "Full Breakfast" included in with the room was a voucher to the McDonald's across the road!! REALLY?! Do yourselves a favor & DON'T STAY THERE!

Start here for a couple nights while on business in the area. Good location with some restaurants nearby. Nice room - clean and comfortable. Good wifi. Comfortable sleeping quality. Breakfast was a voucher for breakfast at the McDonald's across the road.

We stayed in the King bed room with Spa tub. The room was very well kept. It was clean and well supplied. Plenty of hot water for showers and the spa tub. Very quiet even with significant guest traffic inside and out. Definitely worth the money. Would highly recommend this motel and this room.

beds were a little hard for us ,one mattress did have a sag where one person laid, over all good place to stay . fairly quiet since its away from the freeway. there is a small store for a few things . this will be better when the free breakfast is done at the hotel and not across the street at McDonalds .Pre prept food at breakfast is not my Preference.

We didn't have reservations and came upon this place on our road trip. Booked two rooms and found the front desk very friendly, rooms clean and updated and the price very reasonable. On top of it we got breakfast vouchers at McDonald's (across the street) for breakfast. If you're looking for a place to stay in Thai neighbourhood then this is definitely the place!

Indoor pool and hot tub, breakfast vouchers for a local McDonald's, parking is really close and accessible and the hotel itself is well maintained and has a great staff. Tigard felt like a safe area and be really local to everything.

This clean, quiet, well staffed property is right on HWY 99. There are numerous places to eat and shop nearby. Food choices range from McDonald's and Panda Express across the street to some wonderful higher end eateries within 2 miles. Located on a busy highway, the lobby and rooms are surprisingly quiet. The staff on all shifts are friendly and professional. There is easy access to i-5.

Worst day ever the hotel had no breakfast available in house we were given McDonald's happy meal breakfast coupons for the four days that we stayed which were absolutely unacceptable and unedible the hot tub was out of commission the ice machine was broken would never stay there again

Best Wstern Northwinds in Tigard, Oregon is always a safe bet for a clean, comfortable stay, with professional staff knowledgeable of local amenities . Reservations are recommended year round. Parking is safe.

This is a very nice place to stay. Easy to get to. Nice pool. The only downside is - no in hotel breakfast service. They give you a coupon for McDonalds., across the street. Just not the same as the old in house breakfast program.

The room was amazing and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Ireland and Amy are such great members of the team and they really made the stay excellent! I will definitely be staying here next time I'm in the area.

An issue with a chirping smoke alarm was not resolved for three days, breakfast is a voucher at McDonald's. Lighting is very intense for anyone light sensitive. The location is convenient if visiting Tigard or Kings City.

I booked through Expedia for 4/21/22 and when I got to the hotel, they wont check me in without a $250 cash deposit which was not communicated to me. They wouldnt let me pay with my debit card because I didnt have cash and they didnt have an atm. I asked to talk to the manager and was told he was not available. I asked them if i could get a refund and they said yes, just to contact Expedia. Expedia started the process and I didnt get any feedback for a week, and when I called Expedia, they said the hotel wont give me a refund and they sent me an email, which I didnt get apart from one from expedia asking for my stay experience. I dont have words to explain how I feel for this treatment.

We found this hotel to be quiet, room and property amenities were exactly what we needed, and staff were extremely friendly and anxious to help. The property was well maintained. The “breakfast included” turned out to be McDonalds vouchers. These were not very useful for someone needing dairy free options.

The hotel is nice and in a good location. They have a Breakfast room but it goes unused and they give you McDonalds cards for free breakfasts at the McDonalds across the street. This is OK I guess but I like onsite food services much better as there is usually many more options. They discourage getting your room cleaned regularly saying it's an environmental thing but I think it's more a staffing thing. We chose not to except for one day and when I saw the person and asked her to come take care of our room she did not. Other than that it was a fine place to stay.

Nice friendly staff and clean and tasteful rooms. The indoor pool is a nice feature and important to our stay...its a small recreation pool but plenty of fun for a 7 year old. The small fitness center is nice as well.

Front desk was professional and plansant.. Rooms very spacious.. Hotel very clean and updated. Housekeepers always said."Have a nice stay" .. MCDONALD'S with vouchers for breakfast was right across the street..

This BW is not your typical BW Plus. Very dated hotel in much need of basic repairs. Mirror fell off the door, sheets were worn with holes, towel bars were all bent. No hot breakfast in hotel, you had to go across the street to McDonalds with a voucher. Basic room amenities were lacking. No bottles of shampoo body wash or condition but there were in shower pumps but were not filled. Only enough for a few small pumps. No lotion or laundry bags, a small thing but something you expect. This hotel should only be a regular Best Western not a plus unless they upgrade the hotel and provide the services you would expect from a BW Plus. As a platinum member I've stayed at several BW Plus and this is the worst one by far.

Overall this hotel is cleaned well and staff was friendly. It's an old hotel where you'll notice equipment are functioning at bare minimum. When we stayed the dining room was empty and no breakfast was served at the morning. There was no explanation why. The wall was thin and voice next room was overheard. If you don't care about being in an old hotel, it'd be a good value.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The room was well appointed and clean. The best value in the area for sure. The internet was fairly reliable but not the fastest. That said, I was able to conduct business from my room in a quite and comfortable space. I would suggest this location to anyone.

Quick family getaway. Nice room. Sweet competent staff. Kids loved pool and hot tub. They gave vouchers to McDonald's across the street for breakfast. That was great! The marshals across the street is perfect for Christmas shopping! Nice getaway

Other than the broken TV remote, malfunctioning heater, and lack of a couple key toiletries in the room, it was pretty good. I'd probably go back. There definitely needs to be a different/better breakfast option than a McDonald's voucher.

My granddaughter and I stayed here Thanksgiving night, after spending the holiday with family. The check in process was quick. The hotel was clean. We were disappointed, that there was no hot breakfast like some of the other Best Westerns we have stayed at. They had a free breakfast card for a breakfast at Mc Donalds. Which is nice for some. That didn't work for us. My granddaughter is vegetarian so not many options. We stopped at Starbucks across the street to get a protein box for her breakfast. It contains two hard boiled eggs, grapes, cheese, a small raisin-nut flatbread, It also came with a peanut butter/honey mix.Even though it was not a hot breakfast it was a healthy one.

We were very happy with this hotel. The front desk staff is friendly, always smiling even through their masks, and very efficient. It was clean and quiet. Very quiet. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was offsite. Due to COVID they did not have onsite breakfasts, so they gave us coupons for free breakfast at McDonalds across the street. We were fine with going to McDonalds because they had good coffee, orange juice and you can get any of their combo meals, all inclusive to the coupon.

Probably the nicest Best Western Plus we have stayed at. Friendly staff and enjoyed the McDonald's voucher for breakfast. Tv was very large and the room was very clean and nice. Will stay here next time in the Portland area.

Clean rooms good location. Staff is a little unfriendly and they didn't have breakfast like they said they would. Overall not a bad place to stay I would just recommend they get there staff a seminar on friendliness.

The room was filthy, smelled like smoke, and was overpriced. Reported, but the staff really did not care. Hotel NEEDS are full remodel. I would not recommend any family or friends stay here and I would not again.

Everything about my stay was wonderful. From the moment of arrival, to a restful night, to checkout. I absolutely recommend Best Wester Plus in Tigard OR to anyone desiring a restful and pleasant hotel experience.

Nice location and amenities for the price. However, our room had mold in the shower ceiling which was kind of gross. Except for this, our room was clean and comfortible. Easy access and price heavily influenced our decision to stay here.

Check in was quick and easy with friendly staff, room was great, enjoyed the pool and hot tub, decent laundry facilities. Offered a voucher for McDonald's for breakfast. Only down sides were out of the control of the hotel and not real big deals (they were redoing the parking lot so parking was tight and the noise in the morning was disturbing and the location makes going anywhere difficult, can only turn right out of parking lot).

The Best Western staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible by elevator for older persons. We were amazed how quiet it was at night, considering the hotel's location on a main thoroughfare.

The hotel rents part of the small pool to a swim school. I don't know the hours - but 3 teachers and 4 students were in the pool and at least 7 parents/siblings surrounded the pool. 3 people sat immediately next to the hot tub without masks. From 9-10am, one child was screaming the whole time. From 10-11am the other sibling was literally screaming the whole time. That's to be expected - to have some scared kids crying during swim lessons. The main reason we stayed at Best Western was for the pool with our kids. We didn't expect to hear non-stop screaming or have a whole audience just watching. We had to walk right past them and they sat 1 foot from the entry to the hot tub and pool. We called ahead of time to confirm if the pool and hot tub were available. No one said anything about limited facilities. Nothing was said when we checked in and asked about pool hours. We saw a sign about a swim school, and wondered if it was a Best Western offering, or figured it might be on slow days between checkout and checkin (11am-3pm). The hours and expectations should be stated correctly EVERYWHERE for you people who care about the pool.

Is a nice room with good soundproof walls and comfy beds/nice style, but have to say was VERY disappointed the pool wasn't open, the elevator was Really really slow and could have used some more amenities and don't know why can't have an indoor continental breakfast- although the part didn't mind as much (McDonald's is okay enough)- just on principal would like to see more hotel breakfasts in future.

I was underwhelmed with this BW compared to so many others I've stayed at. We were charged $250 CASH deposit for being local. Not a CC/check/ATM option...just told to go to the bank!! They are also one of the few BW's which is NOT PET FRIENDLY. No breakfast served even though it says free breakfast.

The hotel is clean and comfortable, but the room decor looks rather dated. I expect the Best Western Plus hotels to be nicer than the basic Best Western hotels. They really should either remodel the room or drop the "Plus" from the name of the hotel. Due to the Covid pandemic the advertised buffet breakfast was not offered and we were offered coupons for a free breakfast at the McDonald's across the street. The food was barely edible and I strong suggest that you not bother accepting that offer. Unfortunately there are no good breakfast options in the immediate neighborhood.

Northwinds Plus is a smaller but efficient, well maintained BW property with an indoor pool and well equipped, clean fitness center. The owner treats his staff well and it shows - they are well above the norm professionally and willingness to accommodate.

I had a plumbing emergency and needed to stay in a motel for one night. Since I'm a Best Western member, I went online to reserve a room. The reservation was complete when I got a phone call from the location. They were demanding a $250 cash deposit - CASH. I have stayed in Best Western motels all over the Northwest and NEVER had to pay a cash deposit. Needless to say, I cancelled the reservation and booked a room in a different motel.

I booked this hotel for a one night stay to be closer to the Portland VA Hospital as I had an early morning appointment. It was booked through Expedia and I received a conformation email stating that a deposit MAY be charged. When I checked in I was told I had to pay a $250 cash deposit and my room would be inspected before the deposit would be returned. This hotel needs to be upfront about this deposit and not leave it as a surprise. Will not be back and will not recommend.

Slept better than I do at home. Very little outside noise. Little problem with the design of the drapes. They do not offer privacy. I will definitely stay here next time I come to visit family on the area.

We would stay here again. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. If you ever need anything the front desk is there to help. If you have diet restrictions make other arrangements for breakfast with COIVD restrictions they are offering McDonald's coupons good for a McDonald's Beakfast Meal. Really it was a good stay while our house was getting remodeled. I was able to work from home just fine at this hotel.

The staff is the best! They are very accomodating and helpful, exceeds expectations. The hotel i inside and out is maintained well. The rooms are decorated nicel, always clean and the beds are very comfortable. We are there almost every month and don't stay any where else.

I've stayed in this hotel twice now and will definitely consider it for the future. It is centrally located and easy to access all Portland attractions, such as the Oregon Zoo and OMSI. The family rooms are a great way for everyone to have enough room while not paying the cost of two separate rooms. My only complaint is that the pool area is noy open yet for guests, which can be understandable in these times... but when we were there a local swim lesson group was allowed to go in and practice in the pool. Giving an outside group priority over guests, who are spending their money at your hotel, seemed really unfair. And my 6-year-old daughter was VERY sad.

I like Best Western Plus hotels. They tend to offer great value with their hot breakfast and rooms overall. This particular one was horrible. No security which invited local truck fixing guys in the park. Sketchy. Housekeeping is every 3 days and absolutely shows the lack of cleanliness even with that. This location gets a pass and No. The WILSONVILLE BEST WESTERN PLUS is close and 5 stars. You are way better off there, trust me. xoxo

This room was great. It was clean, well stocked,comfortable, dark and quiet. I slept well. The towels are amazing. They are thick and actually wrap around you. The shower had good water pressure and I love the citrus soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I wish there would have been lotion, too. I loved the breakfast vouchers for McDonald's. That was quick and easy for breakfast and better than a cold bagged danish and apple like we have received at other hotels.

Stayed here the last two nights of our vacation and I have to say it was a very good stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only draw back was the A/C. While it was on it cooled the room, but when it turned off the room got a bit to hot for our taste. Might have been user error. Sorry no pics.

Please know that as of 3/22/21, there is no pool/spa open and no hot breakfast. You will receive a voucher to get a “sandwich and hash browns” at McDonalds. If you like McDs that may not upset you. There was no mention of either closure on their site/location specific web page. If I had known, I would have searched for a hotel with these amenities open. I do feel they have discounted the price to reflect these closures.

Best Western Plus is my go-to for business on the road. Northwind is fast becoming one of my favorite properties. From phone reservation, to check in, to check out the front desk and the entire staff is very friendly and accommodating which makes life on the road much easier. Travel time from PDX with no traffic is 22 minutes. There are plenty of places to eat in the immediate area. Interstate access is easy. The property itself is clean, secure, and you can tell that the staff takes pride in their facility.

Great location, great service, and best of all, comfortable beds! The hotel is located near local businesses and restaurants. We were appreciative of the ‘Green' efforts to minimize plastic trash. Nicely decorated

I had drove 12 hours with my family and attempted to check in around midnight when the girl at the desk took one look at me and told me that I would be charged an extra 500 dollars a night as a deposit. She wouldn't elaborate much further nor would she tell me when the extra money would be returned. I called and spoke to the assistant manager stephanie this morning and she basically tried to double talk me and said that an extra 500 dollar deposit applies to locals from Portland Oregon only which makes no sense as I'm not living here or from here and my identification card is from Kentucky. She then stated that it's a high protester zone and politicly active guests typically destroy the hotel rooms. I've never been so strongly discriminated against in my entire life and I'm glad that I refused to pay the extra 500 dollars a night and that I checked into comfort suits with no issues and was able to get my family off the road. I would never recommend a political discriminate hotel like this even if it is accustomed to violent distructive guests as the assistant manager Stephanie stated

Friendly front desk staff, very clean hotel, lovely room. However, the PTAC machine sounded like it was exploding off the wall every time it started up. Therefore, it woke us up. The pillows are bizarre and there is no pillow menu, no extra blanket or pillow in the closet. The pillows were globs of poly fill about 12" square. Bring your own pillow! Other hotels in the area offered 24 hr coffee service and a grab and go breakfast. NOT HERE! And if you need water you better bring it in cuz the vending machine took my money and didnt give me water. We were staying there due to a storm related power outage - no heat or water, so I thought the no water policy was very cheap. No night lite in or near the bathroom, so you stumble around in the dark. The best part was the wierd TV situation. The remote is cheap and has no guide. They must have hijacked the Dish Network because when you scroll thru the menu (once you find it) the channel you select does not match the station listed in the upper corner. Obviously some slight of hand there. I am a big fan of BW Plus hotels but this one has been stripped of all the comforts.

Stayed at nights. Staff and hotel excellent, but they rented to a bunch of Sperry Rail truckers who warmed their trucks from 4 am-6am every morning, partied till 3 am and worked in the hotels parking lot on their trucks all day with music blasting and cussing at each other. Couldn't even open my window due to the smell of their exhaust. They are horrible guests and stay there a lot, making a 5 star experience a one star experience. So sad how company people can be so inconsiderate of othets.

I am quite impressed not only wih Best Western's gorgious and spotless facility, but with the staff's friendliness and ability to exceed expectations. I was starting my year out right with a special diet of no meat, pasta, grains, sweets, coffee, etc.... so instead of the regular breakfast, the staff offered us individual sack lunches catoring to our unique dietary needs. The lunches were yummy and perfect!

Our room and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom exhaust fan was extremely loud, so it is hard to have a relaxing shower/bath. Our room has an adjoining door to an adjacent room which provided zero sound insulation from our neighbor. I was woken up by inappropriate noises and loud tv noise in the very early morning. I would not recommend light sleepers to stay in this hotel.

This Best Western is one of the best that I've ever stayed at in Oregon. WE have been staying with BW for 14 years and they are always willing to bend over backwards for you within reason. We go to OHSU every 3 months, so they really make myself and family quite comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone especially with little kids.

The staff is top notch. Exceeds expectations. Professional, helpful, and friendly. Always willing to go the extra mile. It is a very quiet setting. Very clean inside and out. Comfortable rooms. Great location, easy to get around.

We always look forward to our stays at the Best Western Plus Northwind In &.Suites. The staff is always helpful, courteous and available. The rooms are all spacious, well prepared and nicely appointed. There is plenty of convenient parking. When we stay we are very comfortable in spending time in our room. The huge flat screen TV's are a great plus.

Have stayed here before and feel confident in their disinfection procedures during the pandemic. Room feels fresh and is well maintained. The location is far enough away from the ruckus of the big city but close to all the amenities needed. The staff are very professional and welcoming. Even remember my name. Great mattress and pillows.

Not worth the money. For breakfast they give you a paper bag with an apple, juice, and a roll. If you want a hot meal, they will sell you a McDonalds coupon for $2.50 each. Nothing like their current (yesterday) write up that says : "Currently, we offer daily rotation of hot egg & meat items with new choices constantly added. Between the 4 expanded choices of "make your own" waffles, yogurt parfait both traditional and Greek, locally sourced organic oatmeal from Bob's Red Mill & sandwiches, there is something for all ages & palate. We hope you enjoyed our small batch locally roasted coffee as well! To me it's not worth the money. I'd rather have stayed at something like the Embassy Suites.

WE have stayed here several times and would recommend this hotel to others. theservie is prompt and friendly. they are constantly making sure that all our needs have been met. I will continue to stay here in the future

The front desk staff does not wear masks and when asked about it the clerk 'promised he was healthy'. Made me very afraid that the whole hotel was very unsafe and did not respect ANY Covid protocols for extra cleaning, etc. The door lock needed to be opened upwards so clerk had to come to the room to show us how to do that, said the door locks were old and did not work properly. Clerk got in small elevator with me without wearing a mask. Also they had a not great bag breakfast but then sent an email asking me to specifically rate them on their Covid safe hot breakfast which they had put a lot of effort to please guest. The air conditioning was very weak and the hotel was noisy. Terrible stay.

The BW sign should be much more visible - (trees need trimming). But once you find it & get checked in, the bed is very comfortable and - surprisingly, the room is very quiet. Unfortunately the handicap room only had a king size bed so my son & I took a two queen room and it was extremely difficult not having a high-rise toilet. I'm sure seniors would appreciate that kind of an upgrade

We felt comfortable staying here as the motel appeared to be following the CDC and Oregon Health Authority guidelines for infection control. We noticed the room was very clean and was without magazines, pens, and other items that could be sources of cross contamination. We appreciated the new tv remote control that could be easily disinfected between guests. The only disappointment was in the "breakfast sack to-go" that is provided rather than the morning buffet. We realized this substitution was part of the Covid-19 guidelines, however, we wished it would have had more healthy choices. For example, real orange juice would have been our choice over an orange-colored drink.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean, quiet, and affordable. Great family friendly indoor pool and workout room. The breakfast was hot and fresh - with fresh fruit and coffee. Hotel is in a good location.

I recently checked into the hotel for a 2 day business trip. The hotel is a bit dated but I found it to be clean and comfortable. Close by to what I needed- but a little tough to get up out of the valley in morning traffic. All front desk personnel were delightful and friendly. Staff went above and beyond allowing a colleague and myself to use the breakfast area tables to work on even though the room was closed during the day- thank you! Breakfast was your normal hotel buffet fare- nothing fancy but appreciated. My only issue was that I was assigned a first floor room and as a single female traveling alone, these types of rooms are not my preference. Also, I had an adjoining room separated by a door. It wasn't a big deal until someone checked in on my second night very late. There was little, if any, sound barrier between the two rooms and I could hear conversations and TV, etc.

Everything else was fine. Just the point of having to unclog your own toilet that someone else stuffed up really grinds my gears. When I called down to the front desk, they said they were not able to leave the front desk, but I was welcome to use their plunger which was "cleanly packaged" in a trash bag. I had to unclog some other person's dump from my toilet.

We stayed three nights while visiting family in Tigard. The hotel location was convenient. Our guest room was very quiet even when the a/c unit was on. The room stayed a comfortable temperature so we didn't need to run the unit except briefly in the morning. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. Both managers we talked with were friendly and efficient. This hotel provided good value for the rate and we will stay again when in the area.

We found this to be an above average Best Western Plus property. The staff member at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed. This hotel appears to be either very new or has recently been nicely renovated. I would stay here again if in the area.

Staff who know the area's amenities & give excellent travel instructions. Easy access to highways, restaurants and other amenities. The rooms are quiet - very little noise from the hallway or adjacent rooms. Professional, friendly staff. I appreciated the cleanliness of the entire building without smelling cleaning products.

I had enjoyable & restful stay. My room was already I asked to be away from highway which I got & on the third floor! Everything was clean from bathroom to main area with couch & desk. My bed was quite comfortable. I needed some additional towels since mine were in twined with shape of swan & difficult to unravel so front desk gal Amy ? Helped. Breakfast had many choices, I liked oatmeal & coffee. I wanted some scrambled eggs but what they had too much seasoning , so gal that prepared breakfast asked if she could help, I told her what I would like and she prepared it for me! I really appreciated that she would do that for me. All in all everyone was most helpful and I would come back again.

We stayed in a room with a large hot tub spa. It was EXCELLENT! Room was clean and we had plenty of towels. We were at the end of the hall and near the breakfast room, but our room was still very quiet. Wonderful stay!

We arrived real late. Called to let them know. When I arrived they remembered I had called and had my room keys waiting for us. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and free breakfast. Many stores near by. Friendly staff

Spent the weekend here for a work trip. Everything was very clean, all the staff was wonderful. King bed room was nice and spacious. The bed was a little too firm for me. You can hear neighboring rooms during the night, but not terrible. Being right on main road I was nervous about road noise, but the only traffic I heard was the occasional siren going by. Breakfast was better than average motel breakfast. They had to close pool and hot tub my 2nd night, and the lady at front desk was very apologetic about the inconvenience. I will definatly be staying here for work in the future.

Very friendly staff. Pool and hot tub were terrific. Good variety of items for breakfast. Good location to Langer Farms entertainment center in Sherwood. Rooms were quiet, no road noise. Pillows were plentiful but some were lumpy

The hotel was clean the staff was extremely friendly. The room was amazing and huge!! This is where i am staying ftom now on. The breakfast offered had alot of options and was very yummy!! The overall cleanliness was amazing also.

With today's technology, couldn't you inform me before check in that the pool is closed all weekend??? Really, no one in the Portland metro area was able to fix whatever the problem was. I owned a house with a built in pool. It's not rocket science. Rooms smelled as well. It's the kinda smell you cringe at when you walk into the room but then You stop noticing it.

We've stayed at the Northwind many times over the years and are always pleased to find a the owner's continued investment in staff (pleasant yet professional with unusually low turnover) and room, common-area and outside amenities. Reservations are recommended throughout the year.

This hotel had scheduled pool maintenance and closed all facilities. They did not mention anything when I booked over phone. They did not email us or call us to let us know the pool would not be operational. I have stayed at 2 separate Best Westerns that both emailed and called us ahead of time to let us know about Pool closure to give us an opportunity to change hotels if this was a deal breaker for us. Had we known about this, there is absolutely no way we would have stayed here. It is possible that this reflects all aspects of their business rather shy away business. This Best Western might not find this important, but some families choose hotels based pools for their little ones. Before staying here you probably should call in case they decide to close the breakfast room for cleaning or cancel your room for renovations.

Room was clean and tidy each day. Breakfast average but enough choices and filling. Surprisingly decent area (for an old stretch of highway) with shopping and restaurants nearby. 10 mile radius for most of Tigard-Beaverton area. Good value for price.

Stayed for 4 days, everyone was great, I had asked for a first floor but they didn't have any but at least they had an elevator. The ladies that ran the breakfast kept so out top of everything. Nothing ran out. They also had a really nice laundry room which I needed to use.

Great Place, Great Location! Right on 99W, easy access and plenty of parking and lots of restaurants and service nearby. The room was nice and the breakfast was hot and tasty. If I'm in the area again I'll definately going to stay there!

Hotel was clean and breakfast was really good. We experienced very good service. Beds were comfortable. My husband has a bad back but was able to sleep all night in bed with no problem. We will be sure and use this hotel again in the future.

We have been staying at this property twice a year for the past 18 years and it is constantly evolving....always for the better! This time we found a new lobby and the best bed for great sleep! Personnel remain outstanding!

Excellent customer service, nice quite clean rooms, great mattresses and pillows. This is great place to stay especially if you are traveling with friends/family as they have a family sweet which is 2 attached room. One room has 2 queen beds, other has 1 king bed. They each have their own bathroom, fridge, etc, but you have 1 main door which is great if you are traveling with kids or the elderly. Wish more motels would have this. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here, so that speaks volumes for me.

Travelling from McMinnville to Portland, stopped in Tigard and enjoyed a quiet, comfortable room away from downtown but a quick trip to pretty much everywhere. Not very easy to see from the road, but would definitely recommend this hotel if you're needing to stay in the area.

This was a wonderful place! Very clean, beautiful property with exceptionally friendly staff. Every detail, down to the coffeemaker in the room, was just amazing. The Breakfast each morning was very nice with several items to choose from. They also recommended a local restaurant nearby that did not disappoint. When I return to this area, I will plan on staying right here.

Excellent in every way. The front desk was super accommodating, had a long chat with the Ass't GM, a totally dedicated team member. The entire facility was spotless, including the room and common areas. The outside landscaping is thoughtful and has a nice ambiance. It's hard to imagine enjoying sitting outside next to a busy thoroughfare, but they have a pleasant spot which is comfortable and grove-like. The breakfast is light years better than anything from comparable hotels and motels, very fresh and tasty. There are several restaurants within walking distance, plus drug and grocery stores. I would stay there again for a day or a week. Hard to beat by any measure and highly recommended.

The stay at this Best Western was not the best experience, needless to say. It needs some updating. The dispensers in the shower are not working and we found out we are to use the soap bar provided. Guess they are going to take them out?? The fan in the bathroom was ridiculous. It was so loud and noisy. We were only given one washcloth and the towels were not soft. They were hard, rough! Lighting in the room was so dim, it was hard to read anything. And the TV was not only small but the reception was snowy no matter what channel we turned it to, or how we rotated it. We would probably not stay here again, as this was the worst Best Western we have been to and we stay quite frequently at Best Westerns.

I thought that the hotel was great and i was treated well by the staff. But when I got out of my meeting at 8:30 the places that the staff recommend that I go to dinner were closed or closing up so I had no dinner. I had to eat stuff out of the machines in the room. If I am ever in that area again I will make better plans for dinner.

I have not had as good of an experience at a hotel in a long while as this one was! it was all great! The bed was also extremely comfortable and the staff made me feel like a queen! The towels and bedding were quite nice as well!

This property was clean, comfortable and convenient. The breakfast offered was above average for this type of "motel/hotel" property. The single suggestion I would give is to make it's location more visable from the highway...the sign is a bit hidden and easy to miss.

Stayed here one night. Comfortable and clean, pool clean too. Only slight thing was the cleaning product used in this hotel is quite strong floral/chemical smelling, I personally prefer more neutral or fresher smells; minty/citrus etc - this could just be my taste though, so don't let this stop you from booking! I'd definitely stay here again if in this area.

The room is clean and quiet. The mattress has a pillowtop that makes it the most comfortable hotel mattress I've ever slept on. The indoor pool was a plus. The breakfast was wonderful! Delicions, fresh and perfect temperatures. Highly recommend this Best Western for your next stay.

We had to return to this Best Western. It's Home away form Home. Rooms are so clean. Smells clean. Lobby and Hotel very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very Good. Did not want to leave. Cannot wait for our next stay.

The hotel location is excellent with lots of restaurant choices within walking distance. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Hotel was very clean, pool was excellent, breakfast had many good choices. Would stay again!

The best place we stayed with Best Western. We have staied at meany Best Western Hotels in the past. By far the one is the best. We plan to stay again as lsoon as our plans can take us there. Looking foward to the new pool construction.

We've returned to this particular BW as the location is very convenient to travel around Portland. The staff are friendly and attentive, the complimentary breakfast is excellent and we use the other amenities quite often.

We had problems with our room during our two nights stay. First it was the door having trouble to open. Mentioned that to the front desk staff who turned out to be the assistant GM. He simply blamed the issue on maintenance and refused to even have someone to look at it. Later on in the evening the toilet was plugged in our room. We mentioned that to the front staff and again similar response from another staff member: we don't have any maintenance staff around but here is a plunger and you can unclog it yourself! After we left we sent in our feedback to the BW survey and unfortunately that same AGM happened to reply with an insincere message: that you chose to stay in a budget hotel and we don't have people around to look after your problems. Very disappointed with the service and the overall attitude of the staff there. Even my 12 year old son complained that same person ignored him when he went to the front desk to ask a question. It is a direct reflection on the way that location is being managed. The most ironic part of our experience was that we stayed at another BW Plus hotel for our trip right afterwards and the way we were treated was a complete 180. That shows it is a local problem and not the chain.

I have never had a better whole stay. From check in to check out everything was top notch. Check in was a breeze and the staff was friendly. The room was clean, the spa tub was Ahmazing and the bed was so comfortable. The personalized welcome letter was great and the info handy.

We have stayed in a lot of places but Brst Western will definitely be the choice from now on. Friendly and accommodating staff from the moment we walked in until we checked out. Outstanding service is all we can say which doesn't seem to be enough.

We enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and confortable. They include a refrigerator which is nice. The breakfast is excellent. Lots of choices for everyone. The workout room is small but efficient. For us it is a centrally located hotel. Always enjoy staying there.

This Best Western Plus, the Northwind Inn has done a lovely job of remodeling much of the hotel. I think attention was paid to sound proofing, or I was very lucky with courteous neighbors. I was able to relax and unwind after a grueling 5 hour drive from Seattle. Only negative was reported by my traveling companions. The pool was uncomfortably cold for swimming.

hotel location was very convenient, lots of restaurants near by, strip plaza across the street with Marshalls, Dollartree, McDonalds etc..Check in extremely fast and efficient, hotel lobby and public washrooms were immaculate, pool and hot tub very nice with lots of towels. Our room with 2 queen beds was a nice size, totally quiet at night (2nd floor), again lots of towels and pillows, perfect maid service. Breakfast was more than adequate with huge piles of bacon, you could make your own waffles, they had premade egg muffins, omlettes, fried eggs, then bagels, yummy cinnamon buns, cereals, coffee, fruit, yogurt and more...Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return..no complaints at all. just fyi...the safe is at the front desk area, not in your room..which worked out just fine.

Very nice hotel in a great area. Staff was very helpful. There is a nice strip mall across the street also and a lot of restaurants and gas stations nearby. The pool and spa were clean and very nice. Overall a nice place to stay and pretty centrally located for attractions.

I booked this hotel based solely on what I found online and was really pleased with our stay. The lobby and rooms are both really nice and in great shape (another traveler I talked to in the elevator said it had all been recently remodeled). The staff were all really friendly and helpful and there are lots of convenient restaurants and stores nearby. I thought it was a great value too! I would highly recommend staying here.

I travel a lot for business and stay in many different hotels in many different classifications and the Best Western Northwind Inn and Suites shows that they care about their guests experience as much as most luxury hotels despite being a more modest classification. If you are staying in Portland Area I would highly recommend this property!

I absolutely recommend this hotel if you are going to Tigard. The rooms are clean and the staff go above and beyond to ensure their guests are at ease. I really like this hotel and wish I could pick it up (with the staff) and take it all with me on my travels.

Was in town to see family. It was easy to get around, close to everything but yet was away from the downtown area. Was a little tough to see as your coming down the hill, but easy access in and out. Worth the stay

My family's reservations had been cancelled by another hotel chain. We were so stressed because this happened an hour before we were to check in. We were meeting up with friends whose reservations were also cancelled by the same hotel chain. Best Western Northwind Tigard helped make the transition and new reservation easy. Bella at the front desk was awesome, thank you. Clean room, decent coffee and friendly staff. Breakfast was fair but no real complaint. I never expect much when it comes with the room.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The bed was great and felt very clean. The bathroom is small but they can[t do much about that. It would have been nice to have a hook on the inside of the bathroom door. The breakfast was basic but good quality. A mix of protein and carbs. There was usually free coffee and tea available in the lobby which I really appreciated. The pool and the hot tub area was also very clean. Relaxing area with lots of towels available. A great place to stay.

This hotel is positioned away from the maddening crowds of Portland but convenient to Portland and southern metro area. Newer facility with all amenities. Wonderful varying breakfast, nice pool and spa, and friendly folks. Will stay again when in the area.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Rooms were bigger than expected. Location was easy to find - parking is a little limited, but we did not have a problem. I would stay here again!

We rented 3 rooms for 14 days over 5000.00 one room was 180 over the other two and they wouldn't fix it while we were there. Upper management came out of back office frustrated that he had to leave his conference call to tell us to just leave and he'll see if he can fix but said he won't because we checked in with incorrect amount. He was rude accusatory and extremely unprofessional. He was wearing casual clothes and gold chains and gold rings on every finger. Basically blowing up on my fiancé when she said we may have to dispute our credit card if this is not handled. He waived his finger saying just wait and just leave and go home. We spent 5000.00 dollars and your gonna disrespect our family over 180.00. Not acceptable at all!!!

The Best Western Plus Northwind Inn & Suites was in a great location as we made our first visit to the Portland, OR area. Free Parking, Free Breakfast (the Cinnamon Rolls are great), Friendly Staff, Updated Rooms and plenty of restaurants/shopping close by. Dorothy, the Breakfast Room Manager, made sure that the food was plentiful, tasty and that the Breakfast Room was clean. Lots of healthy choices on the menu also.

Can't be beat for the price! And the breakfast was great. Huge variety, and Dorothy who was in charge of breakfast was very attentive and responsive to whatever you needed. We would definitely go back!

My sister and I ALWAYS stay at the Best Western in Tigard even though my brother has moved to a different area of Portland. It's worth the extra 10 minutes drive for the quality of this hotel. I highly recommend it!

We always stay here due to the street filth in Portland and the overpriced Portland hotels that come with charged parking. It is an extra 20 minute drive to the hotel but worth feeling safe and staying in a well kept hotel.

I booked a room for my parents for one night to go to an event in Portland 04/13/19 - 04/14/19. The reservation was made through their website they did not mention that there is any renovation at the hotel. When my parents who do not speak English FLUENTLY got there, they asked the lady (BELA) at the front desk if there is a way for them to get a room at the first floor, and the lady said that they were completely booked, and that they had to stay at one of the higher floors. When they went to the elevator, a lady from the room service was leaving the elevator with a bag full of trash that was leaking, and the elevator smelled really bad. When they got to their floor, they were shocked to see that all of the walls has fresh paint, and the floor was covered in plastic. The smell was so bad, that my mom got an Asthma attack so they took the elevator back to the lobby immediately. At the lobby, my mom and dad tried explaining to the (Bela) that the paint smell was unbearable and that they cannot stay at that floor. Bela then offered a room the the first floor, when initially she said that they don't have rooms available, mean while my mom's asthma gotten worsen and she had to leave the hotel. My dad was trying to explain the situation to (Bela), When she started to reply impolitely and in unprofessional manner to my dad. Because of her attitude my dad called me to talk to her. When on the phone with her I asked her to find them a room away from the renovation area, she unprofessionally tone replied (IM WORKING ON IT, AND I ALREADY TOLD THEM THAT), and we ended the call on that. A minute later, my dad called me back and told me, that Bella is being really rude and impolite to me, and mentioned that my mom is outside the hotel and she doesn't want to come back in, and that we wont to cancel the reservation. I talked to Bela and told her that we want to cancel our reservation, and due to the fact that your website never mentioned the renovation aspect, and that they didn't take into consideration the wellbeing of the residents of the hotel we demand a refund. Bela went on by saying that she can do nothing about that, and she cannot cancel the reservation, and that we need to talk to the manager. While I'm still on the phone with her, she put the phone down and left me hanging to get (WHAT SHE SAID ) the manger's business card and she handed it to my dad, then while im still on the phone, she unprofessionally left me hanging AGAIN and went away and celled her manager and told him her side of the story. My dad sent me a picture of the business card, and Bela said that the manager will call us tomorrow. I tried calling the manager from my other phone, but to my surprise the phone number was the hotel phone number and not the manager. I asked the Bela for her full name and she refused to give it to me, then she went again to call her manager and she accused me of (harassing) her. My dad asked her, since your manager is on the phone with you, can I talk to him/her, or could you put him/her on speaker. Then she immediately hanged up and told my dad (IM DONE TALKING TO YOU, YOU NEED TO LEAVE). I called the customer service number to file a complaint and I merged the call with my parents to verify their names and to give me the permission to talk on their behalf. The lady over the phone gave me a file number, and she said that the manager should be calling you the next day, and if not it will take a week maximum to hear back from them. The manager called couple days later, and said that he is calling with regards to a voice mail that was left on the hotel number. I then asked him if he has received an email from customer service regarding the incident, and he said no. I replied ok, then let me explain my side of the story. Before I can finish my sentence he interrupted me, and said id rather wait on the email before discussing the issue with you. Surprisingly I received an email on Monday April/15 from the hotel asking me to file a survey regarding my reservation, and filled up the survey with a very poor review. Today April/20, I received another email from CFDM Grey Martin to thank me for completing the survey. And I have still to receive an email/ or A single call from the manager to discuss the issue. They went with charging me for a full night and they didn't care about the miserable experience that my Parents had to go through that night. I would never go to that hotel ever again, and I won't recommend anybody of staying there. I will not shy off sharing my parents experience with my family and friends and defiantly on social media. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I cannot think of anything that would have made our stay better or more comfortable. One of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Great breakfas! The staff was very pleasant and willing to be helpful.

We stayed here April 3 with our two children and two separate rooms. Woke up to ants all over the bed all over the room. I told customer service/ Management and she said it's typical for this time year. No compensation given. I totally expected a refund. It's not typical I've stayed in many motels and never anything like this. It's really disgusting. I would recommend not staying at this motel!

Hotel was very nice and clean. Staff is fantastic. Pleasant check in. Breakfast is great too! Not any parking for trailers. They did accomadate me and I took up more than one parking space. During the busy season I'm not sure if they would allow it. Just an FYI if you happen to be pulling a trailer. Other than that, no complaints. Very nice hotel!

excellent service, very clean hotel, the room was very nice and everything in working order. I would stay there again if I was in that area again. The staff was very nice and helpful, they offered help each time I seen one.

On opening the door to the room, we were hit by a foul odor, akin to sewage. We were able to eliminate that problem by opening the window and turning on the bathroom exhaust fan while we were gone for a few hours. The TV guide and the actual displayed channels were not in synchronization!?! There is no place to hang your robe, while taking a shower! I ended up stuffing my robe in one of the grab bars placed around the room. AND there were no towel bars to hang the used towel on when done.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!! Upon arrival at the hotel on 3/25/19 the front desk was left unattended for 10 minutes, so I had to wait to check in, after ringing the bell on the counter several times. After I was finally checked in, I walked into the room that smelled like mildewed carpet mixed with a musk. I was in a rush to go somewhere so I just dropped my bags off and hurried to my destination. I turned on the A/C before I left in hopes that it would clear the smell. I arrived back the hotel around 10 pm that night. The smell has not gotten any better, but I figured it was so late that I would be able to deal with it for the night. I went to use the bathroom and when I flushed the toilet I noticed the water didn't go down. In hopes that I did something wrong, I attempted to flush again and the water rose to the top of toilet. I immediately called down to the front desk to tell them the toilet was stopped up. The guy (Greg) who answered the phone said "I will bring a plunger right up". At this point I am thinking they are of course going to take care of this problem. Instead, Greg knocks on the door and hands me a plunger in bag and leaves!! The next morning, I go to the front desk to check out and Greg is at the front desk. I explain the scent in the room and stopped up toilet and request some type of discount or voucher for my troubles. Greg proceeds to tell me that it is not his job to take care of toilets and that he will talk with the maid staff about the smell. After asking again about what could be done for the stress of the night, he started getting upset. Mind you, he is the customer service manager. He told me that I'm not an old lady, I can plunge the toilet myself." He started yelling and telling me to leave. In an attempt to get me to leave he calls a manager over the phone and gives a run-down of his side of the story. He did not put this person on speaker phone so I have no idea who he was talking to. He looks at me while he's on the phone and says "He's not going to speak with you (the hotel manager) he trust me to manage to the hotel." After asking him to call again so that I could speak to the manager myself, he told me to “F*** off”. I proceeded to try to call the manager myself on my cellphone (per the business card on the front desk) and as I am doing this. He starts to send a text message to the manager, I assume to tell him not to answer the phone, because he didn't pick up. He then threatened to call the cops on me, so I told him to do so. He clearly had no true intention of calling the cops, because he did not. After realizing that yelling at me and threatening me with the cops didn't work, he grabbed a notebook and went into an office and closed the door in my face. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I would not recommend that any stay there. The staff was rude and unprofessional. The room smelled and the toilet was stopped up. Take my advice and stay somewhere else. P.S. I did call and leave a voice mail with the manager after I left and have yet to hear anything back.

Told there were no voucher rooms available , by the manager.,after we had a reservation. Would not listen to reason. I said I would just go ahead and cancel my BW membership then, and he said that was my prerogative. Main office customer service got us a room. There were plenty. Why would I ever stay here again, and I will spread the word!!

I have stayed at this hotel many times. This location is very clean, quiet and the employees are exceptional. It is close to the freeway and great shopping at Bridgeport or at the Washington Square Mall

Very good upkeep of hotel and rooms and grounds. Internet was fast enough. Breakfast was varied and available early. Fairly quiet area later at night, which is good for sleeping. Near by lots of places in south metro area.

This a great facility located close to transit if needed with easy access into Portland and area shopping. There are many excellent restaurants in the area with a variety dining choices.The facility was going through a light renovation but it did not hinder the experience.

This is a fantastic hotel! Had an amazing experience here, conveniently located. Immediately upon walking in the door, the staff did a great job of welcoming me. They set up express checkout, the breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend!

As a Diamond Member we are loyal to Best Western. The BWP Northwind Inn & Suites sets the bar very high for outstanding service and value for a hotel. This is by far the best of the Best Western Hotels we have stayed at during our many travels.

We stayed for 3 nights in the King size suite over the Thanksgiving weekend. The room is spacious but bathroom is a little tight. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Water warmed up quickly. Breakfast selections were pretty basic but I love the freshly made waffles (with the waffle maker).

I enjoy staying here pleasant staff and a very clean comfortable facility I have stayed here several times while working in this area and am always made to feel welcome the rooms are spacious and well apportiond

We had a king size bed and people we were traveling with had queen size beds and their bed was significantly longer than ours. My feet hit the end of our bed and I'm 5'1” and my husbands feet were hanging far off the bed and he is 6'4”. Also the pool we hoped would be open later than 10pm. Thw air conditioner and fan were not working correctly and our room would not keep cool. Tellers was 3 decor pictures, 2 of which were the EXACT same picture. Very disappointing hotel room.

Check-in was fast and friendly. The room was exactly as shown in photos. In spite of other reviews, the room was spotlessly clean. The location was perfect for my needs and there were several restaurants within a short driving distance. The breakfast was pretty much what I expected, but the presentation was better than most. Staff was making a good effort to keep everything tidy and clean.

Had an unexpected visit to Portland so showed up without a reservation. They honored the on line rate which was quite a savings. Thank you for the suggestion of a water on checkout. In came in handy during my long day.

Very clean room and property. The room was much bigger than expected. Free breakfast was decent with something for everyone. We were visiting friends who live nearby, and this was in a perfect location, close to stores and restaurants and an easy ride to PDX to go back home.

Hotel location is really convenient, off of HWY 99W with a great view. Hotel staff is friendly and make you feel welcome and comfortable all the time. The rooms are spacious, and a warm decoration. Overall a great experience.

We depend on the pool when we travel with our 10-year old. This was one of the cleanest pools we have seen in years! Sanitation was excellent both in the pool and also in the breakfast room. Will definitely return to this location

Loved the place. Well landscaped and a cozy presentation. Warm welcome at check-on and check out. Room was welcoming and clean. Breakfast was great other than no sign on door indicating the hours of operation. Good accommodation for the price.

Love the quick check out and attitude of all employees.Clean room and great soaps in dispensers allowing you to get clean and smell great. Breakfast has something for everyone. Lobby has inviting decor to allow for computer users,if you forget your laptop.would recommend and we use every time in area.

Clean, quiet, decent breakfast, but1. Reception couldn't provide cash from cards or tokens for laundry, leading to a trek to a bank machine 2. After returning, neither of the washing machines worked3. Trip to laundromat required. While out, tried to phone room. Straight to voice mail. Told front desk, who advised they must be on phone. Told them that was impossible, please investigate. No action taken. (They weren't on phone)

We truly enjoyed stay at the Northwind Inn & Suites. The Suite was well appointed with amenities and we were very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast next morning and the lady (employee) in charge stopped by our table to ask about our food. We will recommend this hotel, and if we are in the area, we will stay there if it is available.

We went to a wedding nearby, and needed a place for the night. We usually can rely on Best Western, and this was no exception. Our room was ready early, so we were able to stretch out for a bit after driving for several hours. This was really appreciated. The room was tidy & clean. The bed comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. When we got up in the morning, we were surprised to see how many families with small children were staying there. But we did not experience any noise. While we did not stay for breakfast, it seemed well attended.

I needed to stay near a hotel that was close to OHSU Hospital. My room was very clean, the queen bird's were both comfortable. I arrived late in the evening otherwise I would have gone swimming. It looked so inviting!

The room was large and quiet , but the breakfast left a lot to be desired, microwaved egg patties, sausage, muffins, would have probable skipped it if we did not have a 4 hour drive in front of us. Refrigerator kept items luke warm after switching to another room because of its bad refrigerator

It is our goal to have a nice sleep, friendly surroundings and easy to arrive and leave on time. The BW Northwind Inn gives us that each time we stay here. We have family in this area and always choose the BW Northwind Inn for our stay.

The staff was very friendly. I had to check in early and it wasn't a problem. The room was clean and everything worked. They need to work on the breakfast items. The space is small, but some rearranging would help.

We are in Portland several times year and even though this hotel is out of our way for most of the things we do in Portland we continue to choose it. The hotel is very clean, well kept, the rooms are very comfortable and the staff is first rate. The breakfast is always first rate.

Great Tigard location. Lots of places to shop and eat. Many ethnic restaurants nearby. Great, free Continental breakfast. Loved the coffee!! Nice, clean rooms. Very reasonable rates. Truly a Best Western

We stayed here after a day at the zoo. The room had 2 bathrooms and 2 rooms- great when traveling with kids. The service was good and staff friendly. We will visit again! The breakfast was standard hotel fare.

Professional Staff, excellent location to food, shopping and entertainment. The rooms are large, with plenty of space to spread out. Easy access to entry with parkling available 360 degress around the building.

Just a great hotel from the moment I checked in until I checked out. Front desk staff was helpful, polite and professional. Room was great with a very comfortable bed and nice amenities like the fridge, microwave, tv, etc. Breakfast was very good with waffles that had many toppings including fresh fruit. The staff in the dining room were also excellent and kept the place spotless. This is the third time I've stayed here and it will always be my first choice when in the area.

I enjoy BW because I know that at minimum their facility will be clean and comfortable and often times it is much much more, depending upon the level of BW that I have chosen to stay at. This facility is one of our favorites when visiting Sherwood OR.

What a lovely place. The room is very well appointed. The bed is super comfortable. The shower gets hot right away and the shower head is powerful. It's relatively quiet. They have soap and shampoo and conditioner in dispensers, which usually looks cheap, but they've done it well. It's convenient.

This is an older hotel that has been updated recently. The beds are the best I have had in years anywhere!!! I slept well. The bathroom was very small, but very clean. The main room very nice. I was only over night, but enjoyed my stay and would consider staying in this hotel again.

We chose the Best Western Northwind and Suites not only because we usually stay in Best Western's but because it was just 20-30 minutes from locations we were visiting, Happy Valley, Beaverton, Wilsonville, NE Portland, and Newburg. We were warmly greeted and thanked for being a best Western member; each of the three desk clerks we spoke with were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and quiet with a comfy bed. Even though the breakfast items were not top quality, the servers and attendants were very efficient and friendly. We enjoyed visiting with another couple who sat with us at breakfast. The staff was quick with recommendation for restaurants and directions for navigating 99W to get to I-405 and I-5.

This used to be our go to hotel when in the area but we may have to make some changes. The staff used to be so friendly and welcoming. Not so on this trip. Usually they welcome us as Best Western members...not this time. We went into our room and the neighbors bathroom fan was on and it sounded like a jet taking off. I called and asked if we could be moved to a room that was further away from the elevator where the maids congregated. I was told very rudely that no rooms were available. We left for awhile. The hallway smelled so bad of a cleaning agent...covering up something maybe...it was like that for the 2 nights we were there. The television service is very basic and no guide provided except on the TV that doesn't help to see what is on later. I really used to love this hotel but better off at the Century in Tualatin.

In an ideal situation, I would rate this property 3 or perhaps 4 but my last experience was awful. I read all the reviews, inclusive of the one that mentioned an exterminator, and decided to take my chances. Apparently, the date of my travel coincided with a big event in Portland and 80% or the hotels were booked and I was doing this last-minute. I arrived late in the evening and on checking in, I overheard the guest before me complaining that house keeping didn't refill their lotion dispenser and the person at the front desk couldn't locate any extra bottles for them. A bit worrying but I proceed. The AC unit was the first thing that troubled us. A very dated unit and it was either too cold or too hot. We woke up each night in the middle of the night because we were uncomfortable and had to adjust it. We were staying for two nights and the second day, housekeeping didn't really do anything. They replaced the towels but didn't clean anything or even make the beds. The next morning, I started noticing the insects. I must have killed at least 7 of three different varieties. We had to vacuum all our luggage and wash everything on getting back as a precaution so nothing would transfer. On checking out, the person at the front desk didn't ask about our stay. I mentioned the insects and he took it in stride as if I was complaining about dust. This place needs serious management overhaul. I will NEVER stay there again. If i'd known this was going to be the case, I'd have booked in Salem or southern WA and commuted instead. Even now, on reading the reviews I am puzzled. I guess standards are relative and although I wouldn't consider myself picky I expect more for this kind of money.

This property is an excellent value - clean, comfy bed, delicious breakfast and professional staff. I like to take stairs when I can, so my only suggestion is the next time they replace the carpeting in the stairwell, it would be wise to pick a pattern that is less of an optical illusion??

Had a wonderful stay here! We were out of our home due to water damage and the comfort we experienced really helped keep us comfortable during such a stressful time. Only wish we had stayed here the first 4 days instead of the Hilton!

The Best Western Plus Northwind Inn & Suites was a clean hotel with friendly staff. The daily breakfast had a variety of foods (bacon or sausage, hard boiled or breakfast sandwich type eggs, fruit, yogurt, breads, cereal, mini pastries, waffles, etc.). The hotel was conveniently located with banks, a drug store, & places to eat within walking distance.

We stayed here for a week and had a great time. We requested an ADA room but were told that they did not have one for our entire stay. We therefore had to get a regular room. PLEASE if you do not need one, do not take it. We used the public restroom that was just outside of the pool several times for our daughter, who uses a wheelchair. This restroom is wheelchair accessible and it was just easier to use then the restroom in our room. One time one of the cleaning ladies did give us a dirty look when we were using it and I do not know why. I just hope she was having a bad day and not upset at us using this restroom. The breakfast buffet was great and the house keeping took very good care of us. We used the pool, spa, laundry room and exercise room and all were great. One issue I had was that in the breakfast room they had a tip jar. I do not like these. If the staff does a great job I will leave them a tip. My other issue was that the pool towels were nicer then the towels in the room. Oh well, just minor things but I wanted to mention this. We would stay here again. We stayed in room 122, which does not have anyone next to them. The room is next to the laundry room and exercise room. Neither of these bothered us and we did not hear any noise from them. I would recommend this room again because it is close to everything that you could need.

The hotel looked good from the outside although the parking area was a little odd. The rooms were very nice and exceeded my expectation. The bed was comfortable and the Wi-Fi was terrific. We used the pool and hot tub and both were terrific. The free breakfast had a lot of options and the quality was ok. Pretty much what you'd expect from a free hotel breakfast. But the service in the breakfast area was way beyond what I could have hoped for. She was so friendly and helpful. Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again if I'm in the area.

The Best Western hotel on the Pacific Highway in Tigard, Oregon is a good choice for a traveler or visitor to Portland. Rooms are reasonably priced, spacious and nicely kept. The hotel has a work out room and a pool and is close to a Starbucks, good restaurants and a shopping plaza. Downtown Portland is about 30 minutes away and public transportation is available.

Very nice and clean. Breakfast was good with a lot of selection. Eggs were strange but most all the rest of the choices were good. Service was excellent and staff was friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Easy to get to from freeways. Staff friendly and accommodating. Good breakfasts and food available throughout hours for breakfast. 3-11 pm gal was very friendly Would definitely book here again.

Staff was very friendly, helpful and professional. The room was like being at home. Complimentary breakfast provided many options. There is not a lounge/restaurant on site, but many choices near by. Will definitely return to this hotel for future trips.

I just stayed two nights here and would definitely stay again when I'm in the area. It seemed to be very quiet and the back of the hotel faces some open space. Here are my pros and cons: pro- large room with very comfortable bed, love seat, desk equipped with nice office chair. pro- entire staff was very polite and helpful, especially in the breakfast room. con- breakfast room is very small. Just doesn't seem adequate for a motel this size. con- when I went to make coffee the first morning I was there I found out the maid hadn't left any coffee pods. Once I was in the shower I found the soap dispenser was empty. More annoying than anything.

We love this location. Very central to all of Portland, very clean quiet and comfortable, Great staff right down to the duck welcome. The local wildlife at the front of the hotel. We have stayed many times and will return.

We were with a group that reserved several rooms as we were attending a funeral. During our stay several of us got trapped in an elevator at the hotel for about one hour. It was to say the least a traumatic experience for all especially a couple of the young children, it was very hot in the elevator and miserable. The hotel management was slow to respond to get help there in fact a son in the lobby called 911 to get the fire department there to pry open the doors and help lift us to safety. The hotel management did not say a word, like we are sorry, what can we do to help you, etc, and in talking to the ASST Manager he was as rude as anyone can be, unbelievable no care or concern for guests especially those trapped in an elevator for an hour. I still can not believe how rude the manager was, customer is not King at this place.

We were very satisfied with The Hotel Stay we recommend Best Western Plus. Room was nice, good programimg on T.V. Everything was fancy and The Breakfast was excellent. We totally recommend this hotel.

With so many hotels to choose from in the greater Portland area, I decided to take the advice of TA and booked at the BW Plus Northwind Inn & Suites. The K-suite was spacious, giving us the room needed to eat our take-out dinner and breakfast (hotel dining area was pretty crowded during the prime breakfast hour). Located along HWY 99W, there were plenty of eating options; we chose to walk (@ 8-10 min) to a terrific Thai restaurant for take-out. The K-sized bed must have been a Cal-King, so roomy and comfortable. Loved the way they tucked in the bedsheets...felt like a swaddled baby...which helped me sleep through the night (despite being away from home). Front desk staff was quick to help with computer/printer needs. I also appreciated their responsiveness and accessibility by phone when I had questions regarding the in-room appliances. The breakfast room staff did a great job keeping up with the hungry demands of the hotel guests and doing it all with a genuine smile and sincerity in attitude. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Portland by car.

The hotel was on a very busy road. My room, and I think all the first floor rooms, was at the back of the building. No road noise. Good hot/cold breakfast. Nice pillows! Clean and comfortable beds. Very enjoyable.

Great value. I've stayed here on two separate occasions and had a pleasant stay both times. The were able to accommodate my request for a top floor room both times one month ago for a 2 night stay and last week for a 5 night stay. Very friendly an helpful staff. Comfortable rooms and a decent breakfast for a hotel. I will be in town again in August/September and will stay here again.

Clean, well-kept facilities and polite, obliging staff is what most people expect and this place provided. The only thing that we didn't like were the pillows and the beds: The former were too soft and the latter too hard. There was a reasonable spread for breakfast, although some pastries would have been nice. The room was reset without intrusion.

The staff, the room, the location was all good. But very disappointed with the quality of the breakfast. The layout of the food and the utensils was very cluttered and not well organized. The eggs were awful, coffee was luke-warm bitter coffee and the entire room was small and congested.

Everything about this hotel is excellent--Food --Service--Beds--Rooms--Staff--We have stayed there in the past and will stay there again--nothing changes always good--Everyone there is eager to help in what ever your needs are,

Nice hotel with updated decor. Well maintained inside and out. Good breakfast but small breakfast room. Beware of the one hundred fifty dollar room hold placed on your credit card when you book through a third party website.

Loved the large size of the room. Music playing when we entered - a nice touch. Cleaning lady checked in on us to make sure we were okay. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of variety and good options. Need a bigger space to eat but there was plenty of food.

Room was clean. There could have been a fourth wash cloth and a fourth towel. It was great to have a couch in the room to sit on instead of just sitting on the beds to watch TV. The choices for breakfast were great. The employees were all very pleasant and helpful. We chose this hotel because it had an indoor pool and hot tub. That was refreshing after a long day.

Very nice property with a great breakfast. Best to stay in a room away from the front as highway 99 is noisy. Manager sees that the property is clean and comfortable. Also, it has a modern appearance.

Hotel was clean, safe and very friendly. My kids loved it! We would definitely come back when we're visiting again. My only complaint would be that the pillows were too firm. Location was a little far from the freeway but there were plenty of stores nearby.

Spacious room was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teeneage boys. Breakfast had a lot of choices and is definitely a value for us... again, teenage boys. The breakfast room was a little crowded. Overall a great stay.

Wonderful experience at check-in. We were very tired so it was nice that the property was nicely quiet through the night. Both desk people, at check-in and check-out, were very cordial and professional.

I had no problems which makes for a nice visit. The morning breakfast is a nice touch. Although I had no problems with the waffle maker some of the guest did. The direction are right on the maker so I can only suggest you make a bigger set of directions.

We started our stay at Comfort Inn but found the hotel dirty and unpleasant. So we went to Best Western Plus for the remainder of our stay and the staff was amazing, very polite and helpful and the facility was clean and allowed us to enjoy our trip. Excellent experience. Thank you BW

We traveled throughout the western US and this was our favorite hotel. The room was quiet and recently remodeled so it was very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also enjoyed the breakfast. This was the first hotel in 4 weeks that offered bacon! There was also waffles with strawberries and whipping cream! I would go out of my way to stay at this hotel again!

My mom and I visit the Portland area every December for a Mom & Daughter getaway and to do a little Christmas shopping. We have tried several different hotel chains and in several different areas. This location was not the most convenient for restaurants and shopping, but the customer service made up for the location. I usually get an upgrade at Best Western but this was a busy weekend, so no upgrade was available. The rooms are nicely updated and quite roomy. The sink outside the bathroom is something I really like in a hotel room when I travel with other people. It allows one person to be getting ready at the sink even while the other is showering. The beds were comfortable and allowed for a good night sleep. The little coffee /microwave / fridge area was nice and allowed us to keep our restaurant leftovers and enjoy them later. Hot breakfast was included in the morning and he selections were good. We stayed 2 nights and the choices had some variation day to day which is nice if you are staying awhile. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. My only negative is that the location is a little far from the malls and major shopping areas, and the entrances to the hotel are a little awkward due to a barrier in the middle of the street preventing cross traffic. If you want to go a specific direction you may have to go the other direction for awhile before you can turn around. Overall a good stay and we will likely return next year!

I stay at this location quite a bit while in the area for business. I highly recommend it. The rooms are very nice and the staff is super friendly! Breakfast has a pretty good selection compared to other hotel chains.

We always stay here when we are in the Portland area. This property recently refreshed the decor in the guest rooms and it's just beautiful. The beds are amazing as always and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure every guest has a perfect stay.

Horrible, snotty front desk. Claimed that the Kleenex my daughter pulled out of the box (I cleaned it up except maybe 2 pieces) and a cookie she dropped that I didn't see, required an extra housekeeper, an excessive cleaning fee ($150!) And carpet cleaning!!! A scam. Oh, and we were not given the king suite we booked and paid for- we were put in a queen room and told that we should be happy with it since we paid a AAA discounted price. Unbelievable. Still waiting for a call back from the manager.

Pick a different hotel- paid for a king suite and was put into a double queen. Later charged for excessive clean up because of cookie crumbs and tissue on the counter. Take pictures as you leave the room - the manager is petty and will exaggerate!

We needed a place to stay during some remodel work on our home. We selected this hotel because of the adjoining room suites and the indoor pool and spa. The hotel was clean, the staff were helpful and my kids loved the pool and waffle bar!

My wife has medical and other appointments in the Portland Metro Area...And we have family just up the road in Tigard and just down the road in Tualatin..So it's about location...location...location! the property is very well maintained and managed...So WE don't think twice about booking our Stays there...It's our Home (room) Away From our Central Oregon Home...

Excellent place to stay. Quiet and a very well kept property. The room was ready on arrival. Breakfast room had a nice selection with an excellent staff person. The parking area was lined out so you were not squeezed in.

Excellent value with excellent service. Front desk alone would earn this hotel 5 stars! We went for an OHSU appointment, and this was very convenient. The location has good restaurants, like Wu's Open Kitchen, grocery store, and other shops and services close by. We will definitely be back!

For business purposes is pretty good, but not very good on comfort and entertainment. Channels limited on tv, and although bed comfortable the mini pillows were not. Also restaurant's too far away to walk carefully.

The breakfast was the best part of the stay, so many options. From biscuits and gravy, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal... Very good. They had a nice size pool and jacuzzi. They allowed is to check in alittle early to our room and the lady at the front desk was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The room was extremely cold, as the heat seems not to have been turned on yet this season. The person at the front desk tried to troubleshoot over the phone with me on how to turn the heat on. It took 2 hours for it too warm up to a comfortable temperature. Also, the room seemed to have been locked up for some time and was very stale. I ended up propping the door open for a couple hours to air it out (and warm it up). Other than that, the staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean. The complimentary breakfast provided choices with juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, waffles and eggs and sausage or bacon. For the price, it was what I would expect mostly except for the initial inconvenience. I've been there several times as its conveniently close to my sister's house, where I visit once a year and I plan to return.

Breakfast was a bit crowded and constantly out of products. Otherwise a great stay and would recomend it again. Rooms are clean. Extras are all in working condition. Ie tv fridge jacuzzi hair dryer iron ect.

Our stay at the BWP Northwind Inn & Suites was by far the best experience at a Best Western property we have had to date. We are Diamond members and this property exceeds the Plus standard. Fantastic service, great rooms and a price you can't find elsewhere made for a wonderful 5 night stay. Did I mention, breakfast is included.

This hotel is in great shape, a great location, and has nice staff and a good breakfast. It is conveniently located for activities in Tigard, but has easy access to downtown Portland and the wine region of Oregon.

We stayed in one of the handicapped access rooms and it was perfect. Although neither of us are in a wheelchair we noticed that the space and doorways were able to accommodate one and the shower was all "roll-in" . The shower was great, very roomy, and had a bench which I very much appreciated. The staff here is excellent and the breakfast was one of the best we've found in a hotel. Love the waffles! My only negative comment is that I do not like the smaller bed pillows. We will definitely stay here again.

Never a wrong choice if on the road and you need a place to stay. Friendly and professional and the employees always make you feel at home. The staff are very pleasant. The room is clean, well maintained. Free, easy parking. Free wi-fi. We also like this location as a midway stop traveling between home and parents (Seattle to Newport, OR) We can't speak for the breakfast, as we bring our own for special dietary needs.

This hotel is a great location to where my dad lives. We have stayed here often and always have a good experience. Breakfast is hot and has a good variety. Pool always looks clean, although we have never used. I would suggest getting a room on the 3rd floor.

This hotel was situated perfectly between the industrial and business districts. The hotel is going through an upgrade, but they managed to keep the building noise down very well. The pool was kept very clean, and the breakfast had a great variety of food. Rooms were cleaned very well and room supplies were replenished daily. I highly recommended this hotel.

We always stay here when we need a place in the Portland area. It is quiet and clean. A bit out of the way but worth it. I have seen some bad reviews on this property but can't understand it. We have always had a great experience. I was hesitant this time because they are doing renovations but we were on the 3rd floor and didn't hear a thing. Our go to hotel in Portland area...

Was very bad experience. Never had such bad experience with best western before. No internet for the entire trip. Called technical support like the front desk person indicated we had to do. Was not able to fix the situation. Eventually was told that somwthing had to be replaced in the tier we were in. They had no idea when it could be fixed. Informed the front desk. No resolution was supported to improve our experience. Will never go back to this best western ever again. Will continue to patronize other best western locations.

This is the 3rd time we stayed at this hotel. The previous 2 times were good. This time, we feel the service was very bad. There was no wifi and the staff didn't help. A front desk staff told us that she wasn't a tecky and gave us a # to call the wifi company. She told us that our room was the only one without wifi, but didn't transfer us to another room. Breakfast was not great. The eggs were rubbery. Hashed browns tasted terrible. The hot water in the pot tasted like coffee. The dining room staff didn't seem happy. She was clattering and clanging the dishes and seemed pushy.

We slept here for 6 nights while visiting family over the holiday. The beds were great in a clean and quiet room with a window that opened. We will definitely stay again; the location was perfect for us.

Clean, well-maintained Best Western-grade hotel with a friendly staff with several surprising accouterments for a hotel in this modest price range. Plenty of close-in parking. Rooms are quiet with no bright, garish, blinking signs out front which at once gives the hotel a more sophisticated image; but you must look a little more closely to find it from the road. A good value for the price.

We've stayed here a few times before, a good price in a location near family. Pleasantly surprised by recent room upgrades. Perfect for my family. The bathroom can be a bit tight but can be worked with. We will be back again

We have stay in this hotel often because my daughter lives one mile away. We were here for four nights three weeks ago and again on Nov 22nd and 23rd. We had spilled coffee on the bed sheet and we left the comforter down so when the housekeeping came in they would see it and put new sheets on the bed. Instead the bed was just made. It was very visable that there was something spilled. Then we had left ice that had melted in the ice bucket that was not emtied. You would think that when the room was cleaned the ice bucket would have been emptied but it was left half full of water. We had left the housekeeper a larger tip than normal so you would think our room would have been better than it was. We called the front desk about the sheets and we were told we should have requested them to do it. Not happy with our stay here this time

We had a suite that was perfect for us and our 4 kids. The staff was very friendly. The kids absolutely loved to play in the pool. We split our time between exploring Portland and the kids playing in the pool. We will be visiting there again.

We had a flood at our home. Pipes broke in kitchen and water everywhere upstairs and downstairs!! We had to leave for several days and this choice was close to keep in touch with repairs. When we travel we try to find BW every time! It's our go to motel chain! It seldom disappoints!!

We always stay here when we are in the area. This time we had a renovated room on the top floor. Very nice, spacious and quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay if looking for a reasonable priced room for the evening. A someone dated motel but upgraded very nicely. Great TV and very good shower. The bathroom sink is outside the bathroom, but not a problem. My only negative is that there is only the one sink, but that is not a big deal. I would stay there again. I was especially impressed with the help of John (one of the staff) for his advice on a room.

We've stayed there several times and will continue to be customers. The only real weakness is the poor visibility of the motel from the street. It is on a very busy highway in a very populated area both homes and businesses. Especially at night and even in the day if you aren't familiar with the area it is easy just to fly right past the motel without recognizing it.

It is a very nice motel close to Pacific Highway. Restaurants close by as well other amenities. Enjoyed our stay and wished we had packed our suits after seeing the nice pool. The staff was very courteous.

We found the room not to the usual BW standard. Very dirty carpet with large stains and poor patches, one light bulb out over the sink when we arrived which was followed shortly thereafter by the single light bulb in the bathroom failing, spider webs evident, a leaking tap that couldn't be shut off. In general, poor housekeeping. We understand that there are renovations underway but this room was a disgrace. If you can get a renovated room hopefully that wuld help

Traveling to Beaverton Oregon for a meeting I needed a room with an early check in. The staff made sure to get me int a room early enough to change an make the meeting on time. The place is very nice and staff was great. My room was well kept and made up perfectly. It even had a pleasant smell. The bed a bit hard for my liking but I slept well in the quiet and comfortable temperature. Had to leave very early so I missed breakfast but the coffee was ready and hot at 4am. Thanks for the great service and nice place to stay. You are Highly recommended.

the one diffiuclt issue is finding the hotel - the sign visual from Pacific Hwy is somewhat covered with low hanging trees and should be lit up 24 hrs for "discovery". We all went past the driveway and had to come back to enter the hotel.

I always enjoy staying at the Best Western on 99W when I visit mom in Tigard. This is the first time I was traveling alone and it really made me appreciate the staff a lot more. The front desk clerk at check in was charming , helpful and accommodating. A decent breakfast was enhanced by the presence of the charming lady who manages it. Always friendly, she really brightens the room.

The Best Western Plus Northwind Inn & Suites service from the time we checking in was just awesome! Early checking was not a problem; found a room on the bottom floor(perfect as we wanted) which was super clean, well lit and super comfee! the morning breakfast was great and we liked the fact they change the menu each day- super friendly attendants and always taking care of their guest! We hatted leaving after our brief but super vacation with family and looking forward to coming back to Sherwood and the Best Western Plus Northwind. Thank You to all the employees we met and wish all the best!

We have been staying at this property for over 15 years and it is the best in the neighborhood. Nice hot and cold breakfasts every morning at reasonable hours. It has a clean and refreshing spa and indoor pool that we use every day. Rooms are o.k. and not elaborate but clean. ONLY problem we have is that there are no closet doors, just a sliding curtain. The television stations do not match up with any guide whatsoever and finding a PBS Station can take a miracle some evenings. The rooms have a small couch and one desk chair. YOU need one more COMFORTABLE chair where you do not need to squat nearly on the floor in order to sit. (Couch is the problem.)

A great place to stay with a staff that exceeds expectations! You will have a great surprise here with the friendly, helpful staff. Upon arrival we were greeted with a smile and smooth check in along with a great recommendation for a Irish Pub. The morning staff was outstanding and while we had some special requests in the morning they were more than helpful. I would recommend this location.

We have stayed at this hotel every year since it opened and have always loved it. The staff is wonderful. They are professional and friendly. The bed was lovely. The reason why we aren't going back was because of how filthy the rug was in the room. There wasn't an area that wasn't absolutely filthy with dark spots of all sizes. We have traveled extensively, here in the US, and overseas. We have never seen a rug as dirty as this one. So, sadly, we will be finding a different hotel next time.

I am a Platinum Marriott, but I am re-thinking my loyalty. The price is always better at BW and they have a great rewards program. Tjis hotel was immaculate. I love the solid surface floor in room. You know it is clean. Top notch.

We were pleasantly met at the desk by a young man who confirmed our reservation. The outside of the hotel was beautiful as well as the interior. We stayed in a 3rd floor suite. We used our Flex points and were very happy with the good discount. I did not like the cold pergola flooring. The coffee was very good.

This hotel is well located, just south of Portland if you want to see the city; but it also is just off Interstate-5 near the Willamette Valley wine country. The location is quite, near a mall, with good parking. We would stay again.

My number one choice when traveling in northern Oregon, I have stayed in 7-8 other Best Westerns in Oregon and this is my choice every time. All Best Westerns are nice, clean and friendly but this Best Western stands out, you will understand after your first stay.

The hotel is located ideally. It is directly across from a strip mall with restaurants, stores all within walking distance. The hotel is located in a very lovely quiet area. For the most part the wi fi worked 95% of the time, the breakfast included was o.k. but expectations for continental is not ever great. The coffee which was always available was very good. Staff always had a smile, always trying to be helpful. I will be going back to this hotel on a regular basis when traveling I-5.

Good location for those showing at Devonwood Equestrian Center. Easy access and close to shopping and restaurants. Quiet rooms even though it is just off a busy street. Had a handy grab and go breakfast bag.

We wanted to be close to the city for road and MAX access, pool and hot tub facility. Also, just off the I5 meaning great accessibility. The rooms are superb, with the family room being incredible. Very friendly staff, great value. Problems, elevator super slow, breakfast room only has 6 tables!!! and the gym is small and useless. Otherwise, awesome value and will stay again when in Portland area

The manager and all of the staff were very nice and the rooms were very clean and spacious. A few features on the property were a bit rundown. The location is good if you plan on doing everything by car while you are there; i.e., there is easy access to locations along 99W like Washington Square mall. It is not however a very good location if you like to walk to restaurants and stores.

Best hotel in tigard! I would absolutely recommend to anyone hotel searching in the area. FANTASTIC staff and a beautiful breakfast. Management is superb! Room clean and comfortable. Everything I could have asked for!

The room was a two bedroom suite, for me and my family. The room was nice and very spacious. Clean and the beds were comfy. However the power did go out twice, not sure if anyone else had this problem. Overall good stay.

I stayed at this hotel while visiting friends in Portland. I had nice quiet room and got a good night's sleep every night I was there. The free breakfast every morning was excellent The hotel is also near restaurants and shops.

We stayed one night and had to leave early to catch the total eclipse. I have no complaints, the room was clean and the staff were all polite. It included breakfast that was much better than the typical breakfast that's included in the room charge.

This is a nice property for business travelers. It is little far from the main freeway with average but plenty of restaurants around. There is no onsite dining or food after breakfast so don't arrive late. The bed was great but the pillows are bricks and I woke up with pain in my neck.

We booked this hotel in Tigard nearly a year ago in anticipation of the solar eclipse. Not only did they keep the original reservation price, but continued to send confirmations letting us know that the rate was being honored. Of course, this shouldn't be unusual, but with all the reports of hotels suddenly changing their prices to charge more for eclipse stays, I appreciated this reassurance.

I can always expect the great service and confortable safe stay at Best Western. You can always count on good amenities and the free breakfast. Amy at the front desk made us feel very welcome and even opened the breakfast area in the evening to get some tea.

A friend and I had a spa day and met at this convenient location closer to our spa location. We had the nicest room and it was clean, quiet, and comfortable sleeping. Our room had two queen beds, a sofa, and a small table that we used for an evening picnic in our pajamas. Normally these rooms have a hard back chair to sit at a computer but ours had two club type chairs that were extremely conducive for dining and chatting until the wee hours of the morning. Our room had a microwave and small refrigerator and of course free wifi. One of the things that impressed me was the swimming pool was close to registration but you could not smell chlorine in lobby nor could you hear loud pool noises. We brought our own yogurt and fruit so we did not partake of the hotel breakfast but they did have a large room with adequate seating. This was one of the most positive experiences I have had at Best Western this year.

This was a great hotel, until they let someone phish my information from them. Now I have to worry about identity theft. :( Management was nice, but full of excuses for what they did and fell prey to. Also I had a non-smoking room that smelled of smoke.

We booked at about 10pm on a Friday night and the young lady at the desk was very accommodating and friendly. We were booked and treated as though we had an existing reservation. The hotel itself is quiet and clean.

This is not the cheapest place but it is very nice, probably the nicest Best Western we have seen. Good service, large rooms with all the extras, and for a pleasant surprise, a great breakfast. Again, the best breakfast included in the price we have seen in some time.

Hy husband and I had a chance to stay at this hotel and I was very pleased with the quality of the mattress. Most hotels have saggy beds, but this one was wonderful! If you're in need of a good night's rest, this is the place!

Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Complementary breakfast was actually good from fruit and yogurt to a self make waffle maker with eggs and sausage. Pool and Jacuzzi was indoors but easily accessible. Prices were very reasonable with my AAA discount. I would stay there again upon my return

The room we were moved to was good. The carpet does need to be replaced and there wasn't a place to put the shower wand. The staff was amazing. I am not a breakfast eater however the coffee was good...........................

The front desk and housekeeping staff were nice. The bed was comfortable.and the room was clean for the most part but the carpet was stained and dirty especially at the baseboards. The breakfast room is small and inadequate in size and awkward to maneuver. When we were finishing our breakfast, we were told we needed to be out in 15 minutes because they were closing. I don't think I'd stay there again or recommend it.

Great room for the price, and a good value. It is fairly close to Portland. Downside would be that there are not many food options near the hotel besides fast food. Would be nicer if it were closer to Portland, but still a good place to stop by.

A great hotel while visiting family and attending wedding of our great niece. indoor pool and hot tub were well kept. The exercise room was small but had needed equipment for a workout. The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. We highly recommend this location.

Spend more time cleaning the rooms and less time and the towel art. There was a line of very visible dust all the way around the rooms cause the attachment to the vacuum never get used. Also the mold and mildew in the bathroom was ridiculous.

A really nice clean hotel a little outside the busy Portland area. Great price and easy access back onto the highway for road trips. The pool location is a bit awkward being right across from the front desk and breakfast area otherwise a steal of a deal.

The room (we stayed in a king-size bedroom in a larger room) was great, very clear and safe. We didn't get a paper the first morning (I'm sure there was a reason?!?!). However, the breakfast was lacking (not sure how long the rolls had been sitting around but they were hard and stale - microwaving helped, the hot-food items got cold fast, empty servicing dishes, no metal flatware - had to use plastic ones) all this and more although there were 2 staff members working the area. We were there on a Saturday and Sunday, poor supervision. I will go back though if in the area. The location was good for our needs.

This hotel is well-managed, so we didn't have any problems with a multi-room, multi-reservation group. The breakfast is more extensive than most "Plus" hotels, and varied daily during our stay. The pool is indoor, so the air is a bit thick, but it's probably better for the climate.

The employees greeted us with smiles. The room was very spacious. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good with a nice variety. The only problem was no were to sit, the tables had all been taken.

We have stayed here every time we are in the area. They have never disappointed us. Extremely helpful staff. You get accustom to the awkward entrance with the median out on the HI way 99 and used to having to make a U turn at the light if you are not heading in the right direction.

Rooks are very nice. Breakfast was good and they offered a variety of items. Coffee is always on. Pool is inside and exercise area is clean and functional. Location for me was great. You can walk to stores and restaurants close by.

Our room was clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly and courteous. Extra pillows was a bonus. Our accommodations included a breakfast buffet that offered a good selection of items. We also appreciate the quality exercise equipment.

Nice abs quiet hotel with friendly staff . We were located on the first floor close to free breakfast and dining room . Location or hotel is great , not far from downtown Portland and is close to anything you'd need , dining , shopping , groceries , bowling and other fun activities , etc.

Nice place to stay when visiting family, clean and great access to highways. Also clean and the beds are wonderful, the ac worked well and the breakfast had a lot of variety and not all junk food, especially liked the bacon, bacon is always good.

I spent 3 nights in Hotel . It was very comfortable and had a great internet connection to allow me to work in comfort and not have to spend extra time in our Tigard office. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the hot tub and pool area.

We stay here occasionally for one night before we head out to the coast to spend a week. There isn't anything special about the hotel really. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable enough. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is fine. The rates can fluctuate as all hotel rates do, so I stay when the rates are the most reasonable.

On more than one recent stay here, there were ants in the room. Also, there was garbage left behind from prior people under furniture and apparently the housekeepers didn't do a thorough cleaning. Front desk staff were friendly and courteous, beds were comfortable, location is very convenient for us.

Nice size room, clean and excellent bed with quiet air conditioning. Good breakfast choices and plenty of parking. Helpful front desk and nice swimming pool. Will definitely stay again when we come this way. Good value for the price paid.

We stay here every summer. Nice place and friendly staff. Good pool and great location with stores and restaurants nearby. We even recommended to our friends and they stayed there. We will be back next year.

The fixtures and furniture were all updated and not worn.. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. Very pleasant decor. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Morning hot breakfast was truly hot with a nice selection of bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy. I tested them all - very tasty. This Best Western also serves an outstanding high quality coffee roasted by K&F Coffee Roasters of Portland.

We stayed at this hotel because we were in town for a wedding. We found the staff to be very friendly and attentive, especially the woman at the front desk in the afternoon and the woman who was responsible for the breakfast room (I feel bad that we didn't catch their names). We found our hotel room in very good condition. It was a spacious double queen room that had a separate seating area. We liked the fact that the sink was separate from the bathroom, which made getting ready a little bit easier. We were impressed by the variety of choices for the complementary breakfast. I don't know when the next time that we will need a hotel south of Portland will be, but we would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and nicely decorated. Room doors are inside. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Down side was that there was no truck parking. We were asked to park across the street at a closed down Albertsons lot. It took us 24 mins to walk across the busy streets and deal with parking the truck. There was plenty of parking at the hotel but maybe they were all full from 10 pm to 5 am...

This hotel is typical of Best Westerns committed to quality and service, this is what I strive to give my customers! This probably the best experience I have ever had in my years of travel away from home, I would strongly suggest this Hotel and any other Best Western properties to any one!

The pool was not clear. The shampoo and conditioner were not what I would choose given a choice. The tub was slippery with no mat to make it safe. The breakfast was over cooked. The room was clean and the customer service was excellent.

Again,,, attentive and respectful staffing,,, quiet location and easy access to Oregon Zoo for the John Prine concert we attended,, will not be a difficult decision to stay again at this location when we are in the neighborhood,, excellent breakfast offering and stocked well without wondering where the next mouthful would come from,,

Everything was very clean. The breakfast was great. The pool was clean, warm and had lots of towels stocked. The staff was clean, professional and very accommodating. The beds were comfortable! All the staff was smiling!

Hotel staffer Michelle is awesome. I rate breakfast at a 4 but there is a Café across the Street, "Biscuits" that's great. flat, fried eggs were tasteless so old before they were cooked. No meat in a full breakfast is not acceptable. Satellite TV was only partially working and staff couldn't call for service on the weekends,

Only draw back (if you can call it that) is getting to & from the North side of Highway 99W from the motel. The motel itself is great....good helpful staff, good breakfast, clean rooms etc. Good parking once you get into the lot, but if you are not familiar with the area it could be easy to miss the entrance

Hotel was very nice. Clean and kept up well. Staff was very helpful. Room was larger then expected. Short divider between bad and sitting area, micro, refer, desk, and couch. Service was good each day. Breakfast every morning was pretty good. Large selection. Location was only part we didn't care for. Approx 20 minutes to most of our destinations. Room very close to breakfast area but still very quiet in the morning.

I stay at this hotel just about every time I come to Portland. The location is great. You are near Bridgeport Center and not far from Washington Square Mall. Easy access to the Freeway I-5 and to the I-205 to take you to the Airport. The employees here are the most professional and courteous.

Could find nothing wrong with this place! Very comfortable, quiet and friendly staff. The breakfast was great! If you could only make the rain go away and have an outdoor pool. Convenient location near most everything!

We've had our family reunions at this establishment for the past 4 years. The price is good for the quality. The staff is always professional. friendly and helpful. The manger has at some point during each stay conveniently asked at least one in our party how things are and or might be improved to make our stay more enjoyable etcetera. Simply put staff conduct themselves like co-owners rather than employees. Professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms have always been very clean and equipped as expected. They must be well insulated as I've never heard any noise from other rooms and there is a pool which usually amounts to a noisy stay but not here.

Quick check-in, convenient location, nice rooms, polite and attentive service. Excellent place to stay for a couple of nights. Nice and substantial breakfast included. Returning reward members get a nice hospitality gift.

We stay 3 nights here when we visit Portland. They provided us a satisfying experience during our stay. Room condition is good and big, employees are kindly and helpful. Location is good to us, we can get anything we need within 10 min, and just 20 min to Portland.

Traveled to the area for an intensive week of care with Dr. Kort at Kort Chiropractic - couldn't ask for a better place to stay! We highly recommend this place. Great location, very clean and a well-trained welcoming staff ready to share area highlights with you.

The room was clean and well kept. Breakfast was great. The bed was really hard though. The tub was damaged and had masking tape over the hole. Not good. Did not like that the maids entered our room after the Do Not Disturb ticket was displayed on the door. Overall, still a good value for the price.

The rooms were large and clean and the beds were comfy. We had an issue with noise in the car park, and reception responded immediately and positively. We were very impressed with their response. The breakfast was very well catered. We would have zero hesitation recommending this hotel.

We stayed three nights during a two week trip exploring Oregon. We will return to this hotel, I have family nearby, but the staff was so wonderful and the hotel was super clean, comfortable and convenient.

Always friendly and efficient at this hotel. It's not their fault our neighbors are always noisy. I'd suggest at least staying on the 3rd floor to avoid noise above you. Nice breakfast options and a nice upgrade to their coffee and tea.

Great facility and staff! Good out of the city place to relax and still be close to all the sites. Complimentary breakfast, excellent. Enjoyed the in-door pool. Rooms and motel site very clean. Would stay here again.

The manager Greg Martin was very rude when checking in. He discriminated against my dad w special needs, against myself because I am a parent of a toddler, and talked poorly of an employee because she is bilingual. My mother made a reservation for 3 rooms for my cousins wedding that was in town. My mother WAS a repeat customer for years. This time when she called she was convinced to sign up for the rewards program to save on the rate. At check in the Manager Greg wouldn't uphold the rate and blamed it on an employee who is spanish speaking! My dad use to make reservations when my parents traveled, but since his recent diagnosis of Primary Progressive Aphasia he had a very difficult time communicating. So my mother is left to deal with all communication. I know if a man had checked in the Manager would have never been so rude. My mom paid for her room, my sister paid for her room, and I had been walking in and out of the lobby since I had a toddler that just travled 5 hrs in a car and was crying the last hr. When I went up to pay for the 3rd room. The older women behind us in line threw a fit saying that I was cutting in line, even though it at been a 10 min wait and all 3 rooms where on the same reservation. The rude Manager Greg Martin said I had to wait to pay for my room because I wasn't in the lobby and he need help the other couple in line behind me first!!! He should of had someone else come the front desk to help with check in. I couldn't believe my consideration of keeping a toddler from screaming in the lobby caused me to not be served as a valuable customer!! We will not being coming back to this location and heard there is a new hotel in sherwood instead!

We were visiting friends who live locally. Hotel was on a main road but we did not hear any street noise. Plenty of safe parking. Easy access to roads shops and gas. Property maintained well. Breakfast was varied and well presented. Room was spacious and comfortable

I have stayed at the Northwind Inn and Suites 3-4 different times and have two more stay's booked over the summer. I will continue to choose the Tigard BW Inn and Suites in the future until I have a reason to search for a different hotel to frequent. Price is a factor for the services and quality for my stay's, when the cost doesn't warrant the quality of the visit a new location will be searched for.

Great service quality rooms, great price. Great place to stay, comfortable beds, hot breakfast and close to various freeways. Will recommend to anyone visiting the area close to Lake Oswego, or Tualatin.

The staff at the desk were all very friendly and professional. I received assistance several times and was very pleased. There was a good variety for breakfast. The coffee was terrific. The room must be well insulated - i didn't hear any noise from other rooms or the hallway. Sweet sleep!

The rooms here are very clean and comfortable. Beds offered a decent sleep. Staff was very helpful and professional. Breakfast had a number of options however I found the food was average. Overall a good choice though.

The rooms were large and clean. The beds comfortable. TV worked nicely, though there was no way to access input channels for HDMI hookups. The breakfast included waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage or bacon, and the normal bagels, yogurt, and cereal.

This is a very clean quiet hotel. The staff are wonderful and very accommodating and I was recognized as soon as I walked in the door. The Roman bed was really comfortable and I slept like a baby. I'll be back

The staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable they were professional and friendly. Breakfast was good night need some other vegan/lactose options however I understand these can be pricey

The room was clean, breakfast was good and staff was curious and friendly. I've stayed in a few hotels during business trips and none were as clean as this one. I was very impressed. I was also very pleased with how nice the employees were, usually if the staff is happy then they will be nicer to the guests. If only every hotel I had to stay at was as awesome as this place then being away from home would be much more bearable.

Super nice staff, very knowledgable of area and great comfortable, clean room. Breakfast was very nice and the lady refilling everything was super sweet! Many choices of restaurants near by! Great winery just down the road!
