The worst unfriendly staff!!! not recommended! ver bad attidude from the staff! the location is normal rooms are ver small bathroom normal but the women staff are very ugly. they do not have late check out even you add some more money. noone from the staff are smiling. so i do not reccomend this hotel
Excellent hotel. We did a three city tour in Georgia, had booked 4 rooms. First stop was Tbilisi, and we stayed here for 3-4 days. It was very good, super fast check in process, very friendly staff. Rooms were also very clean. The hotel is located at a distance of 10 min drive from dry bridge, but since we had a car it wasn't a problem. The breakfast spread was also amazing. I must point out that there was an error in our booking, I had accidentally booked the room for 3 days only whereas I meant to do it for 4 days; but thanks to the extremely helpful staff, they didn't create a fuss and managed to give us enough rooms to spend the night. One piece of information, the hotel doesn't have dedicated car parking, that is something that can be worked upon. But overall great experience, value for money.
The room size is extremely cramped, leaving little space for luggage. The bathrooms are similarly small and lack jet sprays or bidets, and there's no mirror in the room. AC also does'nt work effectively. The breakfast offerings are disappointing, with no vegetarian options other than raw cucumber and tomato. Everything is served cold, including the milk, which is not available hot even upon request. Additionally, food items are not labeled, making it necessary to search for hotel staff, as there's often no one present during breakfast service. The hotel is also not centrally located, despite what the name suggests. Overall, this experience does not provide good value for money, and I wont recommend it!
Quick one night stop. Room was fine, but better was the excellent service from Lika on front desk. First she helped fix a problem over breakfast then I saw how she kindly spent time with an old customer giving her help on taxis, SIM cards etc. then she fixed a taxi for my journey to kazbegi. 5 star service.
1500 eur lost in my room. Because the hotel Fire escape system not secure and it was open the room directly. they steal my money from there. I do not recommend staying in this hotel. Be carefull and decide carefully. The rooms direct opening to the fire escape stairs. So they can steal you. As they steal me.
It is a nice hotel, good breakfast and good rooms, very nice feature with a balcony, but unfortunately, you can not trust the wake up-call service. I did not have my phone and with a night flight I was dependent on this call. Luckily, by coincidence I woke up in time. The receptionist told me she would have woken me up, but half an hour later than I asked, and did not seem to think it was a big deal. All the other mornings this service was prompt. The area is nice and close to the university, but about 40 min walk from the old town.
A good honest hotel. The breakfast left something to be desired as it was a bit winded when we got down to the breakfast area and did not meet our imperial expectations. The staff was very pleasant and the room was wonderful.
Everything was amazing and I Will be back soon! ❣️ I would to say thank you to kattie ( Manager of this hotel) she make for me a free upgrade of room and make my stay in hotel more comfortable ❣️❣️❣️❣️
I took a suite for my last day in Georgia, Tbilisi. And I was a very nice big room. Bed was confortable with the soft mattress, shower has a good water pressure ! Room was cleaned, just bit strange that the room is also a fire exit, so means that the door was heavy and loud, and the balcony was an open space ! The waiter prepared some cakes for our honeymoon ! some ballons and a cute cake ! Service was nice, receptionist was also super professionnal ! they served me very well, I fell respected in this hotel !
Small room but very comfortable bed (I stayed in a standard room with one twin). Friendly staff who were always ready to help (one even made a phone call in Georgian on my behalf). The district of Vake is a nice, trendy place to be located. The hotel is a bit far from the nearest metro, but thankfully, taxis are extremely cheap. Breakfast as far as mid-range hotels in post-Soviet countries go was enjoyable. My only complaint would be that the room cleaning happened at completely unpredictable times (e.g. once in the morning, once in the very late afternoon) with the result that I never knew when to time my excursions. But overall great value for the price.
Hotel is located within few minutes from all the major attractions, Breakfast is nice (small set-up though), Rooms with the balcony (front side) are better.. preferably high floor. Staff was accommodated on most of the things.. you get what you pay for
This is the worst hotel you can ever stay at. The staff service is pathetic. And above all the room itself though large is horrid. The air conditioning doesn't work , the remote provided is just a show piece and doesn't cool the room. The room is made up with torn duvet cover from which the duvet is coming out and of course you can tell the staff about the air conditioning which they come and do some sort of quick fix for and it promptly breaks down by 10pm again leaving you in complete heat! Total waste of money!
This hotel is a great getaway after a long flight. City Center in the hotel name is somewhat misleading as it's a fair walk to the city center and the reception recommended to take a bus. The bus stop however is close by, 5 minute walking distance. Rooms are modern but a bit small. There are lots of cars passing by on the street outside, which was a bit disturbing for the sleep. The breakfast was OK for the standard expected in Georgia and the women serving were very friendly. Make sure to have the taxi driver understand which Best Western you are staying at, as he is more likely to drop you off at the other bigger Best Western in the city.
Wonderfull stay at this hotel for 10 days which was very comfortable . All the staffs are very accomodative and friendly always they were shown me "Can 'do attitude . Outstanding hotel! perfectly located. Helpful, friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time. I am really surprisingly regarding their work dedication. I will definitely come back with friends and I would highly recommend this hotel. Had only one issue that i have not recieved my best westin points yet !
Very quiet and comfortable hotel, cosy and nice well-equipped rooms. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is with different varieties and food in Restaurant is also very tasty. Also restaurant has very beautiful orangery cafe with full of flowers. I had very memorable stay at Best Western Tbilisi City Center Hotel!
This looks like a new one in the area. Check in was quick, efficient. Had a welcome drink, wine of course when u are in Georgia! Breakfast spread is not much, only 3/5 stars for that. Room was good, with a balcony. We stayed there for 2 nights. Overall a decent experience.
Arrived at 06.30 am we go to bed to start work at 11.00am, but the imbecile of the day knocks insistently on the room at 09.30am to check the mini bar, I ask him if it is normal and with the total inability to connect, he replies that it is the procedures. Medieval troglodytes. I'll choose another hotel next time.
This was our 7th visit to Tbilisi, and I thought to stay around Vake District.. glad we did.. this hotel is relatively new and styled nicely. Bed was great and the shower was fantastic . The staff were really lovely from check in to the waiting staff in the restaurant. Food was enjoyable along with the wine lists, though you really cant wrong with Geoegian wine at all.. I asked for a shower cap and an iron and both were delivered to the room promptly.. I would and will stay here again most definitely
This is a little peach of a hotel. The staff are super friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel is new, the rooms very clean and well appointed (for a budget hotel). The double bed was very comfortable, helped by four gigantic, fluffy pillows. And wow! the shower is excellent. I liked the fact that the toilet had washing facilities for people like me who prefer to wash rather than wipe (gross!). I will come back to stay at this hotel whenever I am in town for business.
Great hotel ! Keeping the standard as always . Very accommodating staff, peaceful and clean rooms tastety breakfast . And complimentary wine was the best. Location wise not so close to the metro but walking distance and have a public bus stop right next to the hotel but we were using Yandex taxi while we were in Tbilisi.
It is one the top hotel in tbilisi.... 9.1 point in booking.com means it is wonderful. Staff , breakfast, cleanness, rooms ...it is all just perfect. Professional staff in reception especially tatia jikidze and special thanks to Mr gocha and ms Tinatin ...i had a great memories in this hotel. “The hotel has a great location with awesome customer service especially from the reception staff.
Had been with husband on New Year 2019 for 3 days. The hotel interior is so nice, it is probably new built or renovated. The breakfast was quite tasty and fresh. The staff were friendly. It is not so far from the center, just 5 minutes by car.Beside there is no parking , but the doorman helped us to park near the hotel. So we loved this hotel
A nice base to have. The room was nice, but nothing too impressive. Didn't eat their, so can't say anything about that. I'd say this is a classic Best Western, nothing too special, but doesn't disappoint. It has a nice design, and the butler was pretty nice.
This is a conveniently located hotel. There are many restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores nearby. The hotel restaurant has an extensive menu with Georgian & Western food. The staff is friendly. The breakfast had a great variety and made to order eggs should you request it. It's a short taxi ride to major sites. This hotel has a nice neighborhood feel.
I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. It is conveniently placed, being close to main university (Tbilisi State University) and about 25 minutes from the main downtown area of Tbilisi. The room was pleasant and clean but very hot since their ‘central heating' is only heating and not cooling. It was even hot when I had turned it off! The buffet breakfast was ok but the “hot” food including scrambled eggs and bacon was lukewarm. Coffee was good. They offered a voucher for a free glass of Georgian wine to hotel guests and I ordered a Tsinandali which is my favourite Georgian white wine. However, the offer was for only 2 specific wines. The first white was called ‘European wine' and tasted rather acidic so I decided to try the red - a ‘Superavi' which is generally good but in this case was also acidic. Not a good advertisement for Georgian wine! They also had only one lift which was out of order one evening and I had to walk the 5 floors to my room. On the positive side the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is an ok hotel but could do a lot better. I might give it another try to see if it improves!
New hotel with well maintained rooms. For the price the rooms were decent sized. Front desk was very helpful and though we were bit early, they were happy to accommodate about 10 of us into the rooms. Recommended the best restaurants and all the good things around. Close to a super market and a fruit market. Breakfast was decent and had all the basic spread. Only downside is this is located more in the business side of town and far from tourist places. However we did not miss much. Thank you
Hotel is little far from the main area....but its a nice place to stay. Staff is very helpful and all the things are available near by. We overall had a very good experience. Hotel has only one lift which can be a problem when having too many guests
It is a newly built hotel in good location of Tbilisi. The room was clean and convenient. WC was equipped with water tap. The staff were polite. The service could be better. They served us free local wine.
This hotel has the best location. In the middle of city center best for the meeting and business. love the beds they are so comfortable! staff, rooms, service , everything here meet the guest requires! highly recommended!
Best Western – Georgia Review During the last week, I dined at (3) three different Best Western Hotels in Georgia (Tbilisi, Kutaisi & Sairme) and stayed the night at (2) of them (Kutaisi & Sairme). This review will be posted on all three hotel Trip Advisor pages as a means to cross-compare the hotel brand but VERY different hotels. Also, it's a nice forum for the BW Owners to understand where they stack up on the pecking order of things ---- CHECK-IN BW Tbilisi – N/A BW Kutaisi (5 / 5) – I booked on Hotels.com in order to get a slightly better rate but this also sometimes confuses the desk attendant. Zura & Zura (both named Zura) were extremely helpful and provided comprehensive check-in information. We knew the hotel amendies and BW Sairme (1 / 5) – Total check-in time (30 mins) because the desk attendant couldn't find the Hotels.com booking. I booked the same exact method in Kutaisi & Sairme – yet they were unable to figure it out. Training – training – training – I blame the owner 100%. Furthermore, their English was very average and they couldn't properly articulate what they wanted to say. No hotel information, no information really whatsoever. Then it gets better when they give us the wrong room. We booked a king sized bed but alias we were given two twins. We come back down and wait longer on the bed. Again I blame the manager here (not the attendant) for lack of training. Then it gets better when day #2 rolls around and our key wasn't working. I asked for a new key and the new desk attendant simply pulls a key out of the drawer and says “it's a universal key” and will work with your room. 1) You dont give a master key to a random guest so they can access other guests room (Major security issue) – 2) He didn't even align it with the system to register it with our room. I'm sure you already know what happened – I get to the room and surprise it doesn't work. Lastly, we utilized the pool nearby that isn't affliated with the hotel (we were never told otherwise) and it costs 20 GEL / person. We pay 40 GEL and use the pool. Afterwards the kind owner who had good integrity tells us that BW covers the pool fee and its free if we are staying at the hotel. Awesome news!!! But it would have been really nice to know that information yesterday when we checked in lol --- I would have given them at least a 2 / 5 but since they gave us a “master key” or at least he thought it was a master key that's a major no-no. #1anddone ROOM & ROOM SERVICE BW Tbilisi – N/A BW Kutaisi (4 / 5) – Great layout, solid mini-bar, nice shower, big bed. What else to say about the room. Oh yea – they provided with the miniature shampoo, soap etc. Ordered dinner one night and they had a separate direct line to the kitchen. Solid service / good food. Service (4/5) / Food (4/5). BW Sairme (3 / 5) – Small “king bed” no mini-bar, BIG terrace but only one chair, prison-style soap dispenser. We ordered dinner one night and the front desk was not prepared for our order. Firstly, I ordered once and was told they would call back to confirm the order. Never did. Called again and had to give my order to another person who spoke better English. No desert selection. Food (3/5) / Service (2/5) at least they could call me back rather than the guest having to take the initiative. DINING-IN BW Tbilisi (5 / 5) – I've been to this hotel (3) three times now for either coffee or lunch and both the food and service have been 5-stars. If I was to compare the three hotels, I would say that Tbilisi ranks #1 in service & food compared to the other two BWs. The hotel location is solid at UN Circle and they have a great back terrace area. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is staying in Tbilisi – specifically Vake area. I already had a few clients stay here and loved it. BW Kutaisi (4 / 5) – Solid service, they helped us find a meeting location. Great food and amazing views of the city. We noticed a lot of locals going there for dinner moreso than the actual guests. Its definitely indicative of a solid, local restaurant that can market to locals and guests alike. Food (3/5) / Service (4/5) BW Sairme (3 / 5) – Before I get into the dinner, a simple side note. The WC or bathrooms were extremely hard to find. You have to make it dummy-8-year-old proof whenever you install your signage in any public place. Ordered dinner here and overall average for both food and service. Food (3/5) / Service (3/5) Overall, I'm glad that we were able to try out all three hotels this past week and compared to BW in the US, the Georgian versions are far better. BW brand in the US isn't exactly commensurate with their Georgian brethren nor reputationally solid. So its refreshing to see BW doing big things for Georgia.
