Best Western Downtown Stuart

Efficient check-in and out by friendly staff. Clean room with comfortable bed and nice TV. Breakfasts were delicious with a great variety of items and drinks. Plenty of great restaurants in close proximity to hotel.

This hotel was so clean. The staff is very friendly. The pool and common areas are extrmenly well kept and very nice. The housekeeping staff does a fabulous job in the rooms! The breakfast was plentifull and delish!

Good location. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Hotel is clean with comfortable beds. Unfortunately you'll hear planes landing or taking off from 6am until midnight. Worse yet is the constant train horn blowing for the nearby crossing during the same hours.

Great staff and one of the nicer pools, open 24 hours. The breakfast area is clean and well lit, and they do a good job keeping the rooms and grounds clean and well maintained. We have family in the area and we will be back

We had a pleasant two night stay at this hotel. The breakfast was good too. It is in a lovely area with plenty of restaurants and shopping close by. They have a lovely pool and pretty landscaping. The prices were affordable, rooms were clean and the staff are friendly.

NOT in downtown Stuart! It is in a fringe, decaying part of Stuart, NOT within walking distance of restaurants. We were booked into a ground floor room facing the parking lot, with a FILTHY carpet and an overwhelming MUSTY, MOLDY smell. So bad, we couldn't stay. We never checked in, never got room keys, and left. Desk clerk said he couldn't refund our deposit, no matter that it didn't deliver!

My stay at the Best Western Hotel was perfect in every way. The staff members were super helpful and always with a big smile. The breakfast was delicious, muy room was super clean and comfy and the pool area was a dream!!! Loved all of it!!!

Stayed here for 7 days...beautiful well kept property,clean rooms and quiet...breakfast was good with a great outside eating area by the pool...pet friendly also❤️...close to everything downtown and close to the beaches...1st time staying in Stuart and in the middle of Cocoa beach and Ft Lauderdale/Miami...very relaxing stay...and close enough for day trips to Cocoa Beach and Miami.. absolutely would stay here again

This hotel was great- the staff was very helpful in accommodating our large family . It looked like it was just renovated - It was very clean and well-maintained. The hotel was centrally located and had everything near-by. Beach is 10 minutes from the hotel. I would return to this hotel anytime.

Good stay but room was very dark and bathroom tiny . We only stayed for 1 night so it was fine but think rooms facing the pool rather than car park would have been nicer. The breakfast was plentiful and fine for what we were looking for . Overall nice enough

The Best Western Stuart Downtown was perfect for our weekend stay while fishing. The hotel was very clean, this includes the grounds, pool area and room. The complimentary breakfast was perfect. I will stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Best hotel in the area. It was worth the little extra drive I had to commute daily for the week I was there. You feel they really appreciate you and care about your stay. All of the staff are wonderful! l

Very happy we chose BW - sometimes you don't know. Our room, standard king, was EXCELLENT. It looks like the hotel has had some remodeling. The room & bathroom were exceptionally clean, very nicely furnished, all amenities provided. Bed was very comfortable. It was quiet. TV and choice of channels were excellent. Wi-Fi was easy to log onto and was quick. The only problem was that we enjoyed sleeping in and having coffee in the room so much that we didn't get down to check to see how the breakfast was (maybe tomorrow). I also highly compliment Josh at the front desk. I had 2 occasions to call BW the week before our arrival. He was extremely helpful on the calls. Then when we arrived for check-in, he was at the front desk. Such a great guy. We had so much fun at check-in, just goofing and laughing with him. It was such a fun way to end a long day of travel. All-in-all I highly recommend this hotel!

This is the only hotel I stay at when I am in town. The staff is phenomenal and rooms are spotless. They did some remodeling since last time I was here and everything looks great! Feels like a home away from home. Would highly recommend! I'm looking forward to my next visit!!!

The hotel itself was fine although I was booked into a smoking room (I don't smoke) and when I asked for a non smoking room I was told it would be a $20 a night upcharge (the room was nowhere near sold out) and although I was told someone would come up and spray the room with ozone no one showed up.

We stayed for three nights and found the hotel to be just what we needed. It has an old time hotel feeling but with updated accommodations. Our room was clean, breakfast is what you'd expect, and pool area was great. Front desk staff were helpful and capable. And the price was much better than other options during high season.

This was a nice enough place. We were on the first floor with our two dogs. Good well lit area to relieve your dogs. Poop bags and garbage provided. Lots of ice available. Great workout room. Breakfast was adequate. Coffee was very good. My only complaint is the noise from the trains. We stayed two nights.

We were only in town for a brief visit. This hotel was so clean. The room was spacious. The staff was very friendly and pleasant, and check in and checkout was a breeze. Great location as there are places to eat all around there. I would recommend this over the Quality Inn( not good,ugh) and the Days Inn. The bed was comfy too.

The good: This hotel is kept up very well, with cleaning staff doing a superior job. The breakfast was top notch with a great lady setting it all up.The outdoor pool area is beautiful and very well maintained. The bad: pool was advertised as heated during the winter, it is not heated until February as per pool maintenance. The manager gave me a line of malarkey saying that the pool heat was turned on after five days of complaining-it was not on, per pool maintenance company. Once again we went to use the disabled lift into the pool and it was broke, this is an ongoing problem at Bestwestern hotels. The A.D.A. says you must have a lift, problem is it doesn't say a working lift evidently. We were at this hotel for ten days after having to cancel our Fort Myers reservation due to huricane Ian. This could have been a great place to stay for our vacation.

Everything was perfect and clean, All! the people that works there is amazing and very caring! I will absolutely be staying again at the Best Western Downtown Stuart. The breakfast was very deliciuos and with a lot of options.

The agent at the front desk put me in a room where I was surrounded by construction people who were living there full-time as they worked. This hotel was 1/3 occupied. His decision to put me in this area, a 72-year-old woman traveling alone, was thoughtless. These men kept me up all night talking, drinking, showering at 1 AM with very thin walls. The next morning they start their trucks at 5:30 AM and left them idling for 20 minutes. I finally went out and asked them to either turn the trucks off or leave. This man in my adjacent room told me I was a crazy lady and he could do what he wanted. I have reported this to Best Western corporate and I've heard nothing from them. That's a shame because I will never stay here again. Thoughtless, thoughtless decision on behalf of the front desk agent.

Was in the flight path of arriving planes so they did create a lot of noise at all hours of day and night. Otherwise was a great stay. Especially compared to a number of other BW locations I have stayed at.

This place is great Very accessible and very nice staff The breakfast is definitely a great start to our day just wish there were a few more options. We will definitely continue to stay here when visiting friends in Stuart.

I mistakenly booked a smoking room, which reeked. The manager, Josh, continually pointed out that I made the mistake. He put us in an adjoining room, which I had specifically said I didn't want and the room had 2 queen beds, instead of a king. All this for an extra $60! Very bad customer service!

We booked last minute and were very satisfied with the room & service. Just be aware that the hotel is located near train tracks so you may hear during the night. It is not terribly loud but it may affect those that are not sound sleepers. Overall a nice stay!

Not sure why I expected actual hospitality and customer service from BWH Group. 1-star is one too many for this Worst Western. Awful experience and awful management that could care less. Never again!!!!

We stayed one night and asked for an upper room away from traffic noise, for which they obliged us and provided a room facing over the large, clean pool area. The bed was comfy and the room was clean, seemingly decorated quite recently we thought. There is no lift if you choose an upper floor so be prepared to cart your luggage up if that is your preference. The rooms are on two levels in the style of a motel, with doors opening onto external walkways. Breakfast was fine but on our particular Sunday morning was still very busy at 9am (and service ended at 9:30am). We had to wait a few minutes for a table to free up. When we asked we were kindly granted a free extra hour until checkout so we used the time to enjoy the lovely pool. The location is fairly vhandy for the bustling downtown area too.

Clean rooms, good service and a nice pool, I would recommend this hotel. It's an easy drive to town and the beaches. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the past 4 years. The service and overall stay is always consistently an excellent value

I was leary of this hotel because it was a Best Western and the price was good but I was very happy with our stay. This hotel was nicely updated and EXTREMELY clean. It was very family-oriented, pet friendly and had a great breakfast in the morning. The exterior was nicely maintained and clean and very well-lit. It was right in the heart of Stuart Florida in a safe part of town. Close to restaurants and downtown nightlife.

Beautifully appointed oversized pool in the courtyard area of this hotel . The hotel is situated in a great spot close to restaurants and shopping/ site seeing. Love the Boat House restaurant which is on the water very close to this hotel. The Best Westrn in downtown Stuart offers a clean , comfy place to stay . Delicious breakfast included!

Everything is about 10 to 15 min from hotel. Everyone was nice. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay if we are in the area.Check in was a breeze. Thank you to the staff. They were accommodating and make you feel welcome. Great job everyone.

This hotel passed all expectations of a Best Western. The staff upon arrival was excellent. The pool area is secluded from the outside and is landscaped beautifully. The breakfast was good, not outstanding but plentiful. I would not hesitate to stay here again. There is train noise, but it did not deter from our stay

My wife and I were in town for a dog sport event. The hotel is dog friendly and has very reasonable fees relating to bringing your dog with you. The staff was friendly and engaging. Bed was a little soft for my taste but nothing can be exactly like home when traveling.

On the whole the room was clean, comfortable, and met our needs. A good value at a nice inn. Wonderful staff. An earlier review mentioned a room with heavy cigarette smell. Our *room* was clean but there was a strong, persistent smoke odor in the outdoor hallway area. There were smoker's ashtray stands at many locations. We hurried from the room to the parking lot holding our breath for as long as possible, each time. Even in the open air outdoors the odor was pretty strong. Reducing the available outdoor smoking area to just one location and a lot of vigorous cleaning of the outdoor walls and stairways should help. Also, on arrival the refrigerator in the room was not running. The desk manager came up and "reset" it, and it worked fine thereafter. He said something about a defrost cycle which made no sense. Since the staff was quite used to this, it's clear this situation has been ongoing for some time. I would stay at this inn again.

From the moment we stepped in the front door, your property screamed incompetence. We had reserved a handicapped room and checked in well after check in time and were told we had been given a second floor room and there was not an elevator. If we wanted to wait a couple of hours, he could put us on the first floor. We had just driven from Key West, so you do the calculations. The floor was damp and the room smelled of mildewed mop. The bathroom floor was gritty and my feet were dirty from walking across the carpet. The breakfast danish was stale. We were told that the $100 hold on our card would be released upon checkout, and it still has not been released. Dumpster Fire Hotel? Total Cluster Inn? Best Western Stuart, FL. All the same .

This location has immaculate, spacious rooms. The front desk goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Good breakfast choices. Grounds, rooms, pool clean and well kept. Everyone else does their job to perfection. Location has easy access to many amenities you might want to visit or need. You will enjoy your stay.

Nice hotel at a reasonable price. Clean rooms. However, pool is not heated as they state. Breakfast could need a healthier touch and a larger selection. The Covid excuse is not valid anymore - and fruit could be added

The service is excellent. The staff are very pleasant and respectful. I mostly meet the staff who cleans the room and breakfast room staff who are always smiling. The location is also close to other restaurants that serves diverse food. Very close drive to Stuart and Jensen beach.

This BW location has done a very good job to stay relevant and welcome guests. Recently updated, the grounds are nicely landscaped and the buildings and rooms have been tastefully repainted, newly recarpeted and have very comfortable mattresses that will appeal to many. The breakfast bar is tastefully decorated with a reasonable choice of food items. Dining can take place inside or outdoors overlooking the lush gardens and pool.

We stayed 2 different weeks at this hotel in March 2022. The front desk staff were very professional, warm and friendly. We had a pool/garden side room on the first floor and requested the same room for our second week stay, which was accommodated. The breakfast area had good choices and the attended make sure that nothing was overlooked. We are hoping to spend at least one week in late March 2023 at this wonderful facility. Great location.

You would not know it from passing by this Best Western on commercial Route 1, but this is a well-kept, clean hotel with a nicely taken care of courtyard and pool. I would recommend the rooms with a courtyard view because the outer ring of rooms faces a parking lot. The folks at the front desk couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. The workers are to be commended for keeping the rooms and the pool area spotless. Unfortunately the walk to the shops on the waterfront of Stuart isn't pleasant, for it requires going through lots of commercial properties. But once you get there, it's a nice little town with good restaurants and a boardwalk. Also, the town has a large playground for kids.

Was in need of a pet friendly motel in the Stuart-West Palm Beach area. Room was very clean. AC was adjustable and was quiet. Had to leave very early and did not take advantage of whatever breakfast that was available. Room was quiet. Dog next door did not hear my pet. Other reviewers remarked about train noise. I was never awakened by a train. I would stay there again.

All you can expect for a best western, nice pool and interior courtyard. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Allowed for early check in and late check out. Cheaper than a lot of other hotels in the area for the same value.

This property was very clean, the bed extremely comfortable and the breakfast options were good. The pool was large and clean and the grounds were well-maintained with a tropical feel. The location is close to amenities such as groceries, dining and shopping. It is a 15-20 minute drive to the Hutchinson Island beaches, but the cost reflects that. It's a great option if you don't want to pay the extremely high prices of the resorts on the island and don't mind driving a bit to get to the beach. All staff we encountered were helpful, professional and courteous.

This hotel is great, the staff were friendly, the pool was clean and equipped to relax around, the breakfast had something for everyone, the room was clean and comfortable. We had a very enjoyable stay and never wanted to leave!

Looks can be very deceiving and for an “outside property this more than makes up for it with the rooms. I was upgraded to an Xl California king room with a his and hers sink. The staff made us feel so welcome and the front desk staff remembered me from my previous stay and they are baking cookies again!! :)

Train runs day and night and on weekends. Nobody knows schedule. They blow air horn at several nearby crossings. Breakfast was limited so we never ate there. Staff is friendly. Rooms old but clean. Bathroom very small.

The Best Western in downtown Stuart is a hidden gem. Conveniently located with easy access, the staff obviously pays close attention to both daily maintenance and necessary updating. The grounds are clean, nicely landscaped, tastefully decorated, and virtually spotless. Our room was roomy, well-lit, comfortably stocked, and tended to daily by an attentive staff who genuinely cared about even the small things. We've not seen rooms this well maintained even in name brand hotels that are much more expensive. I highly recommend the Best Western in downtown Stuart.

My spouse and I had waited two years for a special conference that had been postponed. Our hotel options were limited, but we stayed at the Best Western because it was nearby and rooms were available. The room was approx. $80 more per night than two years ago, and we didn't enjoy our stay. The only positives were that the front desk staff were friendly, and the hotel was near the conference and only seven miles from some nice beaches. I've had more enjoyable experiences at other Best Westerns.

One to zero stars. Room smelled and was filthy. Train was noisy, breakfast was inedible. Poor choice. The staff was semi friendly. Only good thing is it is near downtown. Went to a concert. At least it was convenient to that. The floor tile grout in the bathroom was filthy. Ugh!

Terrible stay. I was charged double and staff wanted to argue with me about it. Loud train goes through just a block away a few times every night, blowing its horn. Dirty tile floors turned my socks brown. Try Quality Inn 950 SE Federal Highway Stuart. Beautiful property, great rooms and sparkling pool. The price is about 40$ less than Best Western/Stuart.

I was very pleasantly surprised with my stay here for an unplanned trip to Florida. The room was clean, they're tastefully updated - I appreciate the tile floors - no icky carpeting. The rooms have a generous fridge, microwave and coffee maker all of which is handy. The wifi is included and very fast (50mbps+) Every person at the front desk I encountered during my stay (2 gentlemen and a lady) were helpful, friendly, and professional. The view into the courtyard is nice to have too - they have beautifully kept up landscaping. Regarding the train horns someone mentioned - yes - there are train tracks in the distance. But I didn't find the trains or horns to be any louder than staying at a hotel nearby a highway or busy road... you must have some super-sensitive hearing or be a super light sleeper. The rooms are pretty quiet and well insulated from each other and outside. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to the Stuart/PSL area. My only critique to the management would be to please change the god awful 'bright white' (the really white-bluish) bulbs that are in all the fixtures in the room. They are horrible for homes and hotel rooms, much prefer bulbs that are the "warm" or "daylight" (2700-3000K) temperature vs. the really white blue ones which are harsh. But definitely not deal-breaker, just something nitpicky. Thank you!

The hotel was nice and updated. They let us check in early upon arriving earlier than we expected. This is a very large hotel with the units separated from the main office. It had an outdoor pool. but was too chilly to use as it was unusually cold for this time of the year. But the breakfast was very good with many choices, and the bed was very comfortable.

Close to downtown amenities. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice pool. Better breakfast than most. Hoping that the bar will be full service next visit. Limited since CIVID. This is not our first stay here, and will not be our last!

the worst hotel on the strip. The phone is tapped and when you pull up your privacy is violated. When paying for a room for that price you should not be followed by hotel staff while outside while on the phone. Saint lucie west has more privacy without being spied upon. The only thing they had for breakfast was a stale ass muffin.

Nice hotel that's been around for a while but kept up nicely. On rte 1, easy to drive by the entrance first time or two. Nice pool / lounge area in center of U-shaped hotel, to use when it's warmer than when we we were there. FYI Very active freight train track less than 200 yds away. Heard the trains several times each night. Decent breakfast.

Overall this is a good downtown hotel located near restaurants and the water. Well kept location. Friendly staff who were very informative. The lobby and room were clean and well appointed. I had a nice pool side room too,

I chose to stay at The Best Western after reading the reviews. When I arrived, I was very pleased- it exceeded all of my expectations. The staff was very friendly, the room was immaculate, and the free breakfast was perfect! I would strongly recommend this hotel!!!

Stayed here over Thanksgiving while visiting family in the area. Nice clean quiet rooms with good size refrigerator for leftovers. Good selection of breakfast selections. Extremely nice outside pool with numerous chairs and tables .All the staff were very nice and attentive to any needs.

The hotel was nicely remodeled and up to date. The rooms are very clean and I stayed poolside which was very quiet. Parking was very easy with the lot next to the hallway access. I like the electronic check in on my phone and also I was given the opportunity to check in three hours early since the room was ready.

This is the only hotel for me. I stay here a few times a year on business. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. They have they're full breakfast back no more to go brown bags like most hotels. I make sure this is the only hotel I stay at while I'm in Stuart!

While this motel is not the least expensive choice in the area, you do get what you pay for. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast (included) is a "hot breakfast" with adequate choices. The pool and landscaping are beautifully maintained. All staff members were congenial and efficient.

Finally a property who's owner doesn't siphon off the funds and let the hotel fall into disrepair. The entire hotel was in excellent condition the rooms had new furniture and mattresses. I was sorry to see the carpet gone but if the property put throw rugs on the side of the bet it wouldn't matter. CLEAN, UPDATED, AND HOT HOT WATER. will be even better once the restaurant and bar reopen.

I've stayed here a few times before and loved it. I booked the Queen room on Best Western site and was not aware that the only Queen rooms are Handicap rooms. I hated the layout. No counter space. All of the other rooms and the property it self are very nice. I would stay again . Very Clean, great location, and reasonably priced

Best Western is beautifully maintained. The staff is friendly and quick when something is needed. The property feels safe. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Stuart. Best Western is located about 5 minutes from Downtown Stuart and about 15 minutes from the beach. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

Spent three nights on business- read previous reviews. Yes there is a train but it is faint. Clean. Updated rooms. Friendly staff. Great location. Nice pool. Fitness center was in awesome condition. Will use again and do recommend

Service was great, lobby receptionist was very helpful, pool was amazing, they didn't rush us out even when the sun set. They let us have our fun. Breakfast was tasty and had unlimited coffee. It was a great 3 night stay!

This is an older hotel with an exemplary staff from front desk to security. The rooms are basic and could use an update but everything is serviceable. If you mind getting wet it might not be your cup of tea, but with Covid going on I prefer this instead of being trapped in the big enclosed boxes some people erroneously think are hotels.

I always enjoy my stay at the. Eat Western Stuart Downtown. My fiancé and I choose this hotel as a little getaway spot a couple times a month. We utilize the pool, the workout room and the complimentary breakfast which is all wonderful! The computers are also very helpful for last minute business that we have to take care of if need be. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Josh is my favorite at the front desk! He always comes to our rescue! 5 stars from Andrea and Thomas!!!

We read reviews and thought it would be a nice one night stay… Ummm. No. Actually, we didn't even stay because an hour at the pool due to room not being ready gave us an opportunity to observe and leave. The lobby is newly decorated and staff were excellent. The facilities and clientele were enough to send us packing. If your traveling for bike week or spring break, this is your place!

We had a great experience and room. However, hotels like this one are still charging full price even though they are not providing all the advertised services. There is no excuse for not resuming the breakfast service. Once this hotel stops this or reduces the rate, I will update my review. All restaurants are open, again, no excuse. This is the only hotel i stay at when I am in the area. The cleaning staff does an amazing job with the rooms. Special shout out to Barbara and Jabarry. Should be proud to have employees like them. I will definitely be back again.

Very disappointed that we were not told about limited breakfast service. Breakfast service was one of the reasons that we choose this hotel. We were offered instant coffee from a machine, a bottle of water, a muffin and a granola bar. We were expecting a hot breakfast per the website of eggs, waffles and biscuits and gravy.

We truly enjoyed our stay! We booked our room online and when we arrived, we were very satisfied with how the curbside appearance stayed true to the actual photos. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered every question we asked. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the internet service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back and will recommend Best Western to everyone looking for a great hotel to stay overnight. Kudos to Best Western and their staff for making a somber trip (Uncle's funeral) more bearable.

The hotel was very clean and well kept. Rooms were nice, pool was great. Easy access to rooms and the hotel. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Bed was very comfortable. I am looking forward to returning to this hotel next year.

Stayed here two nights. Very clean operation with a nice staff. Felt safe to stay here during COVID. Provided good recommendations for restaurants and local sights. Convenient to local sights and food as well as being convenient to Jupiter Florida. Would definitely stay again.

This is a great, clean place to stay, especially if you have dogs. The whole hotel was nice and upkept. I would definitely stay there again. Located on main road but little noise. I'd ask for a pool facing room it adds to quiet.

Stopped here for a quick night rest and was pleasantly surprised! Neighbor was good - lots of options for food (including fast). The pool area was very nice - perfect place to hang out at night! The grounds were kept very clean. Hotel was quiet and welcoming! Will definitely be back next time around the area.

Stayed only one night. Clean, seemed renovated, pool, which we did not use, walking distance to downtown Stuart, complimentary breakfast (a brown bag w a muffin, granola bar and yogurt). Coffee and juice.

We like this place because it is conveniently located close to family, restaurants and everything else we need while staying in the Stuart area. The hotel has been nicely renovated with new furniture, etc, and is very comfortable. We stayed poolside on this trip and although it was understandable somewhat noisy, it went quiet around 10:00 pm so it was not at all an issue for us. In fact, the rooms were quite quiet except for those obnoxious birds that cackle at all hours of the night! Mother nature - certainly not the hotel's fault. They did eventually settle down but it was a weird experience. We also like the front desk staff. The boss seems to hire good people. In summary, this is a moderately priced hotel that offers a good value and nice amenities.

Front desk staff is extremely professional and polite. The property is clean and although this is an open hotel it very safe. It has a beautiful pool you can enjoy along with other great amenities. The rooms are spacious and easy to access. I will be returning to stay here in the future!

Hotel was very clean and all desk clerks were friendly and helpful. We were their for the Marathon of the Treasure Coast. Since the race started at 6am, they had to go breakfast bags ready for us at 5 am that we could grab and go.

Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Nice decor. Great location. Grab and go breakfast was a good option because of Covid. Very nice pool and courtyard with plenty of seating and tables. Vending, ice and washing machines available.

I have stayed at this particular Best Western on several occasions. It's clean, updated, all for a decent price. Front desk help are friendly and efficient. Restaurant is now open, though I didn't have time to eat there on this stay. Will always choose stay here when in Stuart.

I tried the Port Saint Lucie location and didn't like it but once I tried Stuart, I had to keep coming. The room was so nice and the bed felt amazing, the workers up front were so nice and helpful and made my stay more enjoyable

Had an amazing vacation here. Great service, cozy rooms, front desk very nice great gym and very nice pool deck to relax and get some sun. Definitely do consider coming back for another vacation in the future!

Although this was only an overnight stop to our next destination it was not a restful night. Train went by blowing whistle 3 different times. There is also some kind of factory on other side of parking area that is very noisy. Room was clean other than the carpet which had dead leaves at the door. The person I dealt with at checkout was very kind and understanding.

We reserved a room at the same hotel that our daughter's cross country was reserved at. We were given a choice of a smoking or non-smoking, we requested non. Our room smelled like smoke. There was a train that blares a horn at all hours of the day and night, and we found a huge nasty frog in our room the following morning. While the hotel was clean, it was waaaaayyyy overpriced. $183.96 after taxes. The rate before all the fees was $164. In their defense there were a lot of events happening that weekend, and they were capitalizing on it like most hotels do. I have traveled a lot and typically stay at Marriotts. A reasonable price for this hotel would be $89 a night.

I had to obtain a hotel for a bridal party and guests last minute. This hotel was extremely accommodating. I was able to book the rooms for the bridal parties for 2 nights as well as for the guests that were coming into town. The staff allowed us to store some food for the wedding in their fridge as well as accepting our dry cleaning. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed for the weekend. The rooms were very clean with comfortable beds and plenty of places to charge devices. I would recommend staying here if u need a nice quiet place to get away.

We've stayed here before and liked it very much and was not disappointed this time. Triple sheets is my favorite feature. Quick check in and nice front desk clerk. Comfortable king bed and nice dog walking area. Good location for dining and shopping in downtown.

Last minute decision to stay overnight and I didn't know what to expect, but the price was right and the ratings were very good. Check-in was easy and the two men at the desk were so kind and thoughtful. My husband is ill and needed quiet so we were given a room away from others - we had no neighbors - and rather than having to go to a drugstore, they provided us with toothbrushes and paste, a comb and other necessities. It was exceptional! Everything, inside and out, was extremely fresh and clean. The bed was so, so comfy. We usually just drive home from Stuart but will make it easy on ourselves and stay at this hotel every time. Every. Single. Time.

My Wife and I stayed with our 3 kids at this Best Western due the prices being affordable, the front desk agent Nikole gave us a room upgrade and we were shocked at how sanitary the place was kept. When we ordered the room to be deep clean due to Covid-19 the supervisor Lexi personally cleaned our room for us to stay in! Talk about your customer service! We will be back!

Very professional helpful staff who work hard to keep the place clean and pretty, but even in the "quiet" rooms furthest from the trains, you here them all night long blowing warning horns and rumbling which wakes you up, so completely unable to sleep.

Rooms are dated and small, but clean enough. Pool area and area right outside our room was affected by numerous sketchy people openly drinking and openly intoxicated. People were arguing loudly and were very boisterous. Had to walk around open bottles of Jack Daniels on the ground just to walk our dog. One or more of the sketchy men have our 15 year old daughter numerous leering looks that made our family very uncomfortable. They also took over the pool space and my 13 and 15 year old were too intimidated to use the pool even with us (parents) being with them. People stood right outside our door and argued loudly. We booked for 3 nights and left after 1 night...I have never modified a reservation to leave early. We were very uncomfortable. Ryan at the front desk was nice and understanding..he was the only thing good about this place.

Stayed at this Best Western for three nights on a brief golf trip to Florida. First off, this Hotel is spotlessly clean, modern was perfect for our needs. We had courtyard rooms overlooking the swimming pool. The pool area and entire grounds far exceeded expectations. The Desk Staff were personal and professional during check in and check out! Another pleasant surprise was how comfortable the bar area was. I think the bar is only open from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, but the bartender was as great as the environment. I will definitely return to this Best Western if I travel to the Stuart area in the future.

Due to a meeting running over I needed a room for the night before I jumped back on the road. Upon check in Nikole at the front desk got me a beautiful courtyard room last minute. The room was SUPER clean and defiantly has a good cleaning crew. Property was amazing to look at during the night. My stay was very quiet and pleasant. I give this hotel 5 STARS!!! (REAL EGGS AT BREAKFAST!!)

I am torn between a 3 and 4 star rating. The good: the staff, from check in to the grounds keepers to housekeeping, is extremely friendly. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is very conveniently located. The room was very clean, and included a fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable. The not-so-good: we were in the back of the hotel, facing the railroad tracks. The train runs multiple times a night and there must be a crossing, as the whistles blow the whole time it is passing. The outside walls are very thin and sound travels through them very easily. The ac is a bit noisy. There was no comforter, just a thin blanket. The first day the towels felt like sandpaper. Overall, there is not much you can do about location. The train isn't going away! If you go here, request a room facing the pool. I would stay here again if other hotels were booked, but wouldn't go out of my way to stay here.

The staff were all very nice. Especially Nikki at the front desk and the two ladies who worked the breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. The room was clean, the bed comfortable. The pool was great we really enjoyed it. I saw that some people complained about noise from the train, I had a poolside room and I barely heard the train. I will be back next year for Mets spring training and I will stay here again. I reccomend this place to anyone.

this year we stead in 4 different Best Western Hotels on this holiday. Starting in Toronto Canada then to Port St, Lucie Fl for 2 nights then on to Sebastian Fl for two nights then our last two nights were spent in Stuart Fl. In Port St Lucie I loved the room it was like having two rooms in one and they had the best coffee of all three places. In Stuart i liked the room but we loved the breakfast food out of all three.But Stuart had the most to offer for the price that we paid

We stayed at this motel because it was chosen by family members we were meeting up with. With a $250 price tag, I expected the “Downtown” hotel to be a high rise with a beautiful room. Shocked to see a motor inn. Too cold to use the pool. Coupon for one free drink for one of the two of us. Room was very clean but decor left much to be desired. Light cover on the bed and no blanket provided.

The extier, guest rooms, pool area, were very clean. The hotel staff was very pleasant and answer any questions you had. I don't know if you can mention names but the front desk and Rita and Diane who work at the breakfast bar are top notch employees.

Before even arriving, Ryan at front desk confirmed my reservation, and granted my wish for a first floor room by parking lot, so we could unload our contents to accommodate a visitor's wheelchair, and once I arrived, he granted me a late checkout. What a great example to other employees, so professional and capable. The hotel is old, but well cared for and maintained, with very clean bathrooms, tub with railing (see pic). Breakfast was usual for BW, but Diane hustled with a smile, keeping food refilled, offering water refills for my cup. We liked the magnetic PRIVACY signs that slap on the metal doors. Barbara at checkout was lovely.

Stay away if you need some relaxation heated pool had no heat, smoking room smelled like an ash tray, airplanes practically landing on hotel roof all hours of the night, train tracks behind hotel with train horns sound through the night.

We stayed a couple days in Stuart visiting family. The stay was enjoyable as staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was very very good with lots of options. The room was fine. The only problem we had was that beginning at 5 am other visitors that were working and their trucks began so beginning at 5 we were woken up with heavy truck noise. This was during the week. Maybe weekends are better with less noise. The other problem we had was a load freight train went by and very close to the hotel very early in the morning, maybe around 3, which also woke us up. So while the accommodations and services were all very good, we didn't get all that much rest and sleep. This wasn't a hotel issue, so if we every stay here again, we would ask for a room not in the back close to the train and large trucks.

The property is clean and quaint. Accommodations are comfortable and also clean. Close to a lot of marinas and good selection of waterside dining. If you are not a light sleeper, the train that runs during the late night hours can be very nostalgic.

Everything was good. Older facility freshened up and very clean. In the downtown area. A little small but worked out ok. Had breakfast in the morning that was the same as most motels. Easy to check in and check out.

Fast friendly check in and plenty of parking. Complimentary drink voucher very nice touch. Our room was overlooking the landscaped courtyard area it was clean and nice comfortable bed and the housekeeping was very good. The swimming pool area was well kept and staff very friendly. The bar was open in the evening and the lady behind the bar was very friendly and helpful and ordered a meal for us to have in the bar and also recommended restaurants nearby. Complimentary breakfast included and there was plenty of choice. Would return again when next visiting Stuart.

Our room was clean and the decor was better than expected. Staff was incredibly pleasant and there were always staff members cleaning around the hotel - changing lights, fixing signs, sweeping... It appears to be a we'll run and maintained facility. I would stay here again.

The photos make the place seem luxurious. It is not. But it's a great value for about $100 / night. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was just OK. The attendant kept the counters and tables spotless. There's a room with several computers for complementary use. Another plus. Plenty of parking. From what I could tell, there's no security or locked entrances to prevent intruders from coming on the property. If safety is very important, you might consider another place. I would rate the hotel generally a 3/5 but due to the excellent standards of cleanliness and very good value, I give it 4/5. All things considered, we would stay there again.

Located on US1 it's not the newest hotel but it is convenient with great service. It is located close to the historic downtown section and near the local airport. It has a friendly vibe and the attention to cleanliness is evident.

For the price and reviews, I thought my stay would be different. The room smelt smoky even though the front desk said it wasn't a smoking room. There was a roach that scrambled when I picked up my bag. I was a bit disappointed based on the reviews.

The BW Downtown is a beautifully maintained older-style (exterior corridor, 2-story) hotel located in very central convenient location on US-1. The staff was very friendly and professional. My room was nicely furnished, very comfortable, and super-clean. The courtyard-pool area is extremely attractive, with a nice resort feel; beautifully landscaped and spacious, something sorely missing on most newer hotels. A hot buffet breakfast was included, wihich was fresh and had a decent variety of items...and great coffee! Overall, this property met all my needs and was a good value for the price. I'd definitely return here in the future.

This place is exactly what a hotel should be! The rooms are clean and simple, without unnecessary amenities or features (like weird artwork or contrasting paint colors). They include a TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and bath soaps/towels. The breakfast was great too! It included eggs, sausage, waffles, pastries, cereal, and fruit to eat, as well as coffee, tea, milk, and juices to drink. Regarding the staff, they were professional, friendly, and very efficient. Check-in took less than a minute, and the employees servicing our room during our multi-night stay did a great job "freshening" the room each day. (Note: I did leave a $5 tip each day, which is considered customary.) The grounds were also gorgeous! The hotel is setup with a well-light parking area all around the facility, so your car is never more than 100 ft from your door. At the center of the facility is a beautiful, well-maintained pool. If I every find our family in the Stuart area again, I won't hesitate to book this hotel!

Haven't stayed in any BW in USA before and this one had ok reviews. On the face of it the rooms and facility looks a little dated, was in the king size studio room. Decor a wee bit old to look at but a very comfortable room, plenty of space in the living / sleeping part of the room. Bathroom / toilet area is tiny, but the hand basin area is Hugh. They could have changed the proportions here to make it a bit more roomier in the shower and toilet but you don't spend all your time in there so not a major. Bed was comfortable and has aircon unit in room. Internet / wifi was ok, slower than what I'm used to but it's free / included , was getting maybe 3mbps for you geeks out there so any videos you try to watch will probably buffer and pause. Good selection of TV channels. Never used the pool or laundry facilities given it was raining and dark when I arrived for 1 night Plenty of onsite free parking

Very good experience. Place seems to be well maintained. Nice free breakfast. The staff very helpfull....desk clerk came to our room to see why I could not get wifi to work, fixed problem quick(my fault!). The maids came by several times while we were there, making sure we had everthing we needed. Room was very clean and maintained......Like so many older hotels have the noisey wall a/c units. If I had to make a negative comment would be the location of property.......noisy location. Several commercial businesses located very close to location.....The main one is the nightly afternoon and early morning trains......they like using their horns, also property is the flight path for airport....the 2 days we were there they were practicing for upcomming airshow. Other than trains seemed to calm down after about after dark. Did not use the pool area but looked very nice. We would stay the again. The also offer military and other discounts...…..

Very good I stayed at the inside rooms of the hotel when you open your door your facing the pool. these are the best rooms. My 2nd time there this year. A good place if you want to leave your car parked and walk for drinks and food.

Everything was great. the staff was friendly, room was clean, the pool was huge. The breakfast bar was delicious. They were able to help me modify my reservation last minute because I had to change from a pet friendly room to a non-pet friendly room.

The Best Western in Stuart, Florida is a very good value compared to the other accommodations locally. Even though the hotel was most likely built in the 50's or 60's, you can tell it was maintained well and updated regularly. The pool area is beautiful and well landscaped. The pool itself is large and at a perfect temperature. My wife and I have quite a long history with this property. We had our wedding reception there (when it was the Holiday Inn) back in 1983! Stay there.....you will enjoy yourself!

Even though I was working in Stuart I stayed at the hotel for quite a while the front office was great the where on point with service and courtesy . I even had my family visit me for the weekend while I was working in the hotel check out my family very well with breakfast and all amenities like the pool my grandkids they all had fun. But I thank all staff for making our stay memorable.

I did not find the reviews to be in alignment to the actual accommodations. Please beware... room was dirty.. pretzels on the floor from last guest... hair on sheets from who knows who bugs in bathroom. Seedy people lurking about motel and smoking outside their rooms.. looks like they may be renting long term but I'm not sure. Bar that the illustrious Marlena was attending was completely empty without a single soul in sight on a Friday night... we turned around and didn't even bother to use our free drink coupon as when we looked in after all the rave reviews to find Marlena alone standing in front of the TV watching a sitcom laughing to herself, really? On a Friday night? Save yourself the experience that we had and spend a little extra money and find someplace clean and safe.

Marlena at the bar is fantastic. She knows her beer. She has a wide variety of knowledge about mixing cocktails. You definitely need to visit the bar even if you are not staying in the hotel. Marlena has menus at the bar for the available deliver services. She has a great knowledge of the surrounding area.

I've stayed here several times for business and have always had a perfect stay with no issues. Although they no longer have a restaurant in house, the bartender Marlayna was kind and made good conversation. I recommend this restaurant if staying in Stuart.

Great remodel! One of the nicest Best Westerns I've been to. Free cookie at checkin, secure parking for my trailer, awesome outdoor space, and Marlayna was serving them up cold! Will definitely stay at the Best Western my next trip to Stuart.

I am working in the area on a year long project. I decided to try this hotel due to the location being central to the job and I was pleasantly surprised. It is clean, comfortable bed and the staff are great. They are always freindly, professional and helpful when I needed to make last minute changes to my reservations. The breakfast has a good variety and the room is spacious with plenty of tables.

Had a nice time. Marlayna is a great bartender, very friendly and nice. Great selection of beer and wine. A little quiet but if you like to socialize this is the place because the people that are there like to meet new people.

We got two adjoined rooms with a pool view and it was very nice. The staff is super friendly. Breakfast is good with a lot of choices. Hotel is a few miles from the beach and water front. It is in a quiet neighborhood on a main road. The outdoor pool is very nice.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean with comfortable towels and beds. Booking and check-in process was efficient. Couldn't ask for anything more! I highly recommend.

Nothing outstanding from a value perspective but it met basic expectations for a hotel. Central location. Near a good, affordable breakfast restaurant and Starbucks as the hotel breakfast was inadequate. Clean room and spotless bathroom and good supply of towels were pluses. WiFi was dependable.

As we travel around the country, we see all types of budget motels. Best Western in Stuart is by far the best motel we have stayed at in a long time. I would compare it to one of the more expensive brand hotels. Check in was very efficient, housekeeping was on the ball with a very clean room and our daily cleaning service, and the entire staff was friendly. I dropped part of my breakfast on the way back to my room and housekeeping was right behind me to clean it up. My family and I were very impressed with this hotel and it's staff. Keep up the great work!! The facility is well maintained.

from the minute we arrived we were greeted with a most pleasant front desk person , who handled everything with a smile...we arrived with 6 Families and she handled the duties of the check in with the utmost patience.., the cleaning staff was a great help with keeping up with the needs of the families checking in and checking out..maintenace staff was most helpful when asked for extra items ,ice buckets for the pool area to keep the girls hydrated...Breakfast bar was acceptable, but repeative on a daily basis.. would have liked a variety of various fruits, but when asked about bring bananas into the mix it was promptly there ,to add to the top of the waffles with whipped cream and cereal.

Our family spent 8 nights here. The room was clean, the beds very comfortable, and the pool was a favorite with the kids. Breakfast is decent-if you're a coffee snob like me there's a Starbucks right down the road. The hotel is very convenient to downtown, beaches etc.. and for us it was minutes from the softball world series our daughter's team played in. What makes this a 5 vs 4 star hotel is the staff. I arrived at 12 a.m.and was greeted warmly by the front desk person. When we needed a room for a pizza party they offered their breakfast room. The cleaning staff especially Trudy was very friendly. Plenty of parking and pro washer/dryers were also a plus. You really can't go wrong at this hotel.

Our 9 days at BW was very good. We had an early check in with very little wait time considering there were approximately 40 of us. The rooms were very clean, the pool was awesome, the grounds were kept very nice and the housekeepers were so friendly and polite. Trudy was our housekeeper and she checked in each day to see if we needed anything. It was so nice to come “home” to a cool, quiet, clean room after a long day at the parks. The breakfast room was very clean, well stocked and they even put bananas out for us when we asked to add a little potassium for the girls playing softball. The staff were very nice and we definitely would stay here again.

Excellent value at this hotel. Everyone, top to bottom, was a pleasure to interact with. They care about their guests and take pride and running a great hotel. Family friendly and team friendly too. Thank you for making our week on the TC a home away from home while participating in the softball World Series!

I can best describe this place as the “little hotel that could” The rooms were immaculate!! The staff were some of the friendliest and very accommodating The grounds were beautifully maintained. I could go on and on about how great this little hotel was (only 2 floors) Had to stay a month and my wallet is not crying!!

Overall pleasant experience other than the difficulty opening the door, and the trains and planes that were an occasional disturbances. Staff members were very courteous and professional and the rooms were well kept and clean.

I have been in contact with multiple people at various levels about a charge that was put on my account ($351.18) for a reservation that I was unaware that I had. I was never sent a conformation of having a guaranteed reservation. With the understanding that I DID NOT have a reservation I did not go to the hotel in downtown Stuart, Fl. I have reached out to booking. com, the hotel in Stuart (spoke with Nimesh), and their corporate office with no one admitting to be at fault leaving me with an enormous charge on my credit card for something that I did not purchase. Because the franchise is the party that charged my card I reached out to them to make it right. Nimesh (GM) was VERY rude on the phone and would not offer me any contact info to send him a document (the only thing I have about this so called "reservation" and basically told me I was "out of luck". His lack of customer service was astounding and will DEFINITELY keep me from any future reservations at any Best Western hotels. I have always had great experiences with Best Western but this incident has been an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!

Older building on main highway, but nicely updated. Pet friendly rooms have been a big draw. Upstairs interior rooms are quieter. There is little road noise, but the trains go through only a few hundred yards away. Nice breakfasts. Nice pool area.

Our 2 night stay was horrible because the manager doesn't do customer service! Not available to talk to on weekend, doesn't call you when front desk says he will. Our neighboring room smoked and vaped outside the door and the manager says they have the right to. Group of people smoking, butts thrown all over out front of our room! I guess we don't have the right to a smoke free room. Complained both day stays, their solution we pack up the night before we leave to another room 10:30 at night. Did I mention we are both permanently disabled with limited mobility traveling with our small well behaved dog. When manager finally called me 3 days later after I had to call him, he was rude and only offered a free stay compensation for our dog!

Room was very clean Rather quiet room with great air... Good location, downtown, and great parking. The staff was first rate best part of this Best Western was... the very helpful staff! Would stay there again and advise people to use this Best Western!

I was very satisfied with the staff and the room. We had free breakfast and a free drink ticket. The only thing that wasn't ok was a train that ran close by but other than that it was great for me my daughter and grand daughter.

Stayed here for 1 night during a month long road trip around Florida, out of the 22 different places we stayed in during the month I ranked this high at 4th overall. The property is located on the busy Route 1 main road, but as the accommodation units are set back a long way from road we had no traffic noise. You might still need earplugs though as there is a railway line close to the back of the property with numerous heavy freight trains running through the night. The rooms were clean and beds comfy with clean bedding and well appointed with a fridge and a microwave. The pool looked great (but didn't get a chance to use it). Breakfast buffet was included and was one of the best of our entire trip. It's about a 5 minute drive to downtown Stuart which turned out to be our favourite little city of the trip. It was a Sunday and there was a craft market and live band playing on a stage built out over the river. There are a couple of great places for a craft beer “The Crafted Keg” and “The Vine & Barley”, nice places to eat, fun shops to visit and a beautiful walk along the waterfront's boardwalk. Would definitely stay at this BW again.

Check in was quick and easy. The front desk woman (Nikki?) was super friendly and accommodating. Probably one of the nicest front desk people I've ever dealt with. Lobby was clean. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy enough. There was a fridge and a microwave in the room. Pool area was nice with lizards running around. Breakfast buffet was included although only open from 630am to 930am. Hotel bar was only open 5-9 M-F. Lots of places within walking distance for groceries or food/take out. Also about a 5 minute drive to downtown Stuart. Would def stay here again

Best Western is so clean. The room was very quiet. We did not hear any other guests. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast. There was so much food. Ten times better than our stay across the street at the Clarion.

We spent only 2 nights had a wedding to attend and could not have asked for better...we throughly enjoyed our stay and would use the hotel again..It was clean, the staff was oh so cordial and the breakfast ...my word it was so yummy my favorite was bisquits and gravy and my hubby and son's was waffles and pancakes...thank you so much

There is no better place, for the money, in Stuart. The breakfast, service, room cleanliness, and the staff are all good, I will stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends. Ryan at the front desk has been a great help every time I have stayed here.

Fantastic time in Stuart thanks to the wonderful staff. Barbara, Ryan, Nikki and Maylana were amazing and so helpful. They greeted us with a warm smile and lots of information on the area including fantastic places to visit. We especially enjoyed the River Walk in Historic District which is in walking distance, only 1.4 mi. Great places to eat, fun shops to visit and a beautiful walk along the waterfront. Thanks to these outstanding folks at BW......couldn't ask for a nicer staff!

The hotel is right in the middle of Stuart - - very convenient. The room was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. Everything was good until the middle of the night. There is a train track adjacent to the property and four times overnight, the loudest freight train came by waking us up. Four times! And this was over the sound of the air conditioner! One time would just make a funny "My Cousin Vinny" joke but four times??? Maybe if you were on the opposite side of the hotel, it would not be as loud but given this, I could not go back to this hotel, which is a shame since everything else was fine.

Clean room with nice view of the pool staff was very nice to me really enjoyed my stay with this facility i had to extend my stay and the whole process very easy overall the stay was very nice and will use this facility again

A basic aginging motel which is clean and comfortable. the service was excellent. A very good value for the cost, which, by our research, seemed to be 40 to 50% below the local competitors..Location was quite central. Ask for the courtyard rooms if traffic noise is an issue for you.

This BW was like something out of the ‘70s. It is badly in need of a facelift. We found top bedding to be grubby. Sheets had some oil stain. We asked that they be changed, but the new sheets had similar stains. The towels were very thin. Breakfast was in a pleasant breakfast room but the food was heavy in carbs and fee gluten free options (not even Cheerios). It was below average for typical free hotel breakfasts. The staff, however, was friendly and helpful.

I was on a 3 day biz trip during the high season. This rate was good and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and they knew their internal process to get me setup and I felt welcomed The evening was spent conversing with a few other patrons and the bartender was very friendly

I liked that the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were recently remodeled. The pool and the breakfast area were always clean and neat. However, I did not like the linens. The towels were rough to the touch.

Stayed the night with new friends. Staff was great and rooms were immaculate. Alarm clocks have USB charging ports and room was recently renovated. Price is good for a season stay. Property is well maintained with beautiful landscaping! We will be back!

Checking in was speedy. Our room was beautiful and we stayed in the extra large king courtyard side. All staff was accommodating and very friendly. Property is pet friendly which humbled much of my experience. It really is great to see a hotel offer all services. Property kept in mint condition and common areas very clean. 5 stars!!!!

I booked this hotel last minute! What great find!!! We actually decided to travel through the historic part of Stuart before our 3 days in Disney. Everything was sold out they managed to move reservations around just to get us in! Our room was poolside upstairs with a amazing view. Pool was nice and warm for the kids. FULL BREAKFAST WITH REAL EGGS!!! Also, upon arrival our room smelled great and all the ladies here do such a fabulous job. Lexi followed up with our picky requests daily and made sure we always had extra towels. My kids aren't that tidy but never seemed to be an issue. Nikki at the front desk was always prompt and professional with a SMILE! We actually booked a future reservation at his property. WE WILL BE BACK!

My family and I stayed for a week here! I wish we stayed longer! The front deck is so helpful, and the rooms are always so clean when we return from a evening out! Whoever is in charge of cleaning the rooms should get a raise! Not only are the rooms spotless, but the property is well maintained! The pool water sparkles! Great staff very friendly and helpful, we will be booking here again!

I tend to book local when I have a lot work to catch up on and need a place away from home to get it done. Breakfast is complimentary and is delicious. Front desk knows me by my first name and always makes sure I get my favorite room upon my arrival to the their property. Housekeeping knows I enjoy my daily service but I'm a late bloomer so they come early afternoons. My room is always in working order, linens look great, and everything kept in great condition. Every visit I have to take a photo of the vibrant landscaping to share with others! I will continue my future stays at this property!

Positives - good breakfast, bed was comfortable Negatives- outdoor entrance, small pillows, very late housekeeping service, dog in dining room ( not a service dog), bad shower & no response to complaint except “Sorry”. In general a below average Best Western.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient. The desk staff was helpful. Our issue was an incident with the cleaning staff. On the final day of our 3 night stay, we came back to our room to find that the cleaning crew had left a toilet brush on the bathroom counter/sink next to our toothbrushes. Disgusting! The desk staff gave us new toothbrushes and removed the toilet brush from the room. I am not sure if the sink and counter were disinfected. I threw out the toothbrush and soap that were there. We were given an "apology bag" which contained a bottle of water and a small bag of Doritos.

My girlfriend and I were in Stuart for a concert at the Lyric Theatre, and stayed only one night. I usually stay at two other Hotel chains, and haven't stayed at a Best Western before. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and attractive it was. It is also only about five minutes from the Lyric, which is in the Historic Downtown area. The price for a two person King bed was very reasonable, and spotlessly clean. The front desk representative was very pleasant, and suggested two restaurants after I inquired about local seafood restaurants. Although the room was rather small (particularly the bathroom), it was adequate. If I had to find something negative about the stay, I'd say I noticed the air conditioner would turn on and off fairly often, more so than most hotels. At least it wasn't real loud when it did that, like I have seen before. Also, the next morning, my girlfriend said sometime during the night , after the air would turn off, she would hear a faint ticking sound. She assumed it was the refrigerator. I didn't notice it. We checked it out and it was the microwave. Even if you opened and shut the door, or made sure the dial was turned completely to off, it still had a faint ticking sound. I meant to notify the front desk, but forgot. I'm gong to call them now. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you visit Stuart, FL.

I rang the hotel from the highway due to road fatigue, and checked in late, the front desk person was helpful, and even though it was one of the last rooms I got the rewards discount and was informed of the 2/1 bonus night program. The room was spacious and comfortable as much as one could expect

I stayed here twice in the month of February to visit my sister who w as in the hospital. It was convenient, because the hospital was in Stuart so it was close, right on the main street (1). I chose this hotel because of it's proximity and it was also reasonably priced for this time of the year down here. The first time I went when I checked in I was given a room that faced the parking lot (the doors are to the outside the hotel). After looking around a little, I asked if I could switch to a room that faced the courtyard and pool. The front desk was very accommodating and switched my room. The second time I stayed, I was given the same room facing the parking lot although I had requested a pool facing room. I requested again to be switched and at first they thought they did not have a room, however, they were able to find me an inside room later on in the day. The staff was very professional and accommodating. The rooms were fine, clean and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked and there was very little noise in the hotel, even though it appeared that they were fully booked. The pool is very nice and there are tables and chairs to eat your breakfast poolside if you wish. There is some noise from the small airport nearby but mostly in the daytime and there is a train somewhere that I heard in the morning, but it wasn't bothersome to me. Breakfast is included in your stay, and it was fine. Coffee is available all day and there are vending machines and ice on both floors. There is a small bar that is open Monday through Friday from about 6 to 9 depending on how many customers are there. It was nice to be able to have a beer after a stressful day. There are a couple of restaurants nearby within walking distance and more in driving distance, and Historic Stuart is about 5 minutes away by car. I would definitely recommend this Best Western for a short stay if you are visiting this area.

This was our first and last stay in this Best Western. The hotel needs to remodel outside room entrances so they are not accessible to sketchy men wandering around the parking lot. Put room entrances in an indoor hallway. Have security ask sketchy guys in parking area not to BBQ in parking spaces and then hang around cars and trucks which do not belong to them. Finally, warn would-be guests of the terrible train and plane noises that occur all night long preventing a restful sleep. Between the all night noise and the creepy guys hanging out in the parking lot, it was not a pleasant hotel to visit. We checked out after one night. We don't recommend this hotel for anyone!

Chose this hotel for it's location and affordability. It's an older hotel but kept up nicely. The staff was very friendly. Room was clean and exterior is kept up well. Our only problem was the shower/tub did not drain very quickly. After a short shower, I was ankle deep in water. We did not report until checkout since we were there for a quick, one-night stay.

I just returned from Florida 2-9-19. I stayed at this Best Western Downtown Stuart. What a treat. I was in room 133 and it was spic and span. My bed was comfortable and micro wave refrigerator and TV were in great working condition. Air conditioner worked great also. Breakfast was sufficient. Scrambled (real) eggs with peppers and onions on the side along with a sausage patty. There was make your own waffles, plenty of bagels and bread for toasting, biscuits with gravy, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, oatmeal and the most Delicious juices nice and cold. Coffee was great. Folgers reg or decaf and flavored cream if you desired. The riverwalk up the street is amazing. Lots of things to see there and also eat. I liked Duffys. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends. PS..the pool is very clean and nice.

I am always happy with my stay at the Best Western in downtown Stuart. The rooms are clean and the people are super friendly. I don't stay here to take advantage of amenities (except internet) so I can't speak to that part of the hotel but while I'm there, I feel I'm getting a good value for the price.

Hotel staff was welcoming at check-in. Hot cookies provided with complimentary glass of wine. Room was nice and clean. Hotel provided free high speed wireless internet. Hotel had a nice size gym with plenty of equipment including free weights. Breakfast had a nice spread with a lot of hot items including real eggs. I didn't use pool area but it was beautiful.

Check in was fast and simple. Check out the same . Very professional lady at front desk . Very efficient and sweet. Room: Disappointed in the smell of damp in the room . Decor stuck in 80's a Howard Johnson feel old school type of place. Cobwebs On the lamp in near bed . Bed not comfortable , Blanket old . Worst part : Loud carts bringing dragged around by maids. We're they trying to get you out of your room ? I wonder. No sign available to say do not disturb ! Lower your price it might be worth it. O when I booked the hotel restaurant and bar was on the website, guess what limited bar fine by me but no more Serving food . Inconvenience not good. Breakfast was okay , even though I was done ✅ with my ears I fished out a blonde hair from the plate and it wasn't mine ! Obviously when they prepare no one wears a hair net . Gross !

This motel clearly does not cater for comfort. 1) Uncomfortably hard bed. 2) Nearby trains. 3) Ongoing construction. 4) Minor, but tiny pillows. Bought my own. Nice staff, but has little to work with.

The one thing that was pleasant were a few people at the front desk. We arrive and the room looked pleasant. It was decent until we walked into the bathroom where we had gnats in the bathtub and on the shower curtain. Most were dead. It was late when we discovered it. In the morning I discovered that one of the pillows had mold that you could see through the pillow case. We immediately went to the front desk and gave them the pillow and told them about these gnats. We were in a rush to get to the hospital and didn't have time to look for another place to stay . They never offered to change our room and I said please have someone spray while we are out. Doubt that happened because we returned to find gnats in the bathroom. We had no choice since we spent day and most of our night at the hospital with a family member. When we checked out we found another place to stay which was great This place is disgusting and the front desk didn't offer any solution Please pick another place.

Nice property. Very clean and well-kept. Rooms were serviced properly, the front desk staff was amazing, the bartender made your visit fun. However, the lounge area and bar are closed on weekends, so if your coming for a weekend getaway, remember to bring your own bottled spirits because you won't find any available here. Overall good quality for the price.

My husband and I have stayed at this facility many times over the past few years. The price is very reasonable and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We were greeted the same people that have been there for the past few years. Must be a nice place to work if people stay.

The property is kept clean and staff is outstanding. Lexi made sure my room was properly serviced everyday and I had all my toiletries on a daily basis. Terrys breakfast is always great to wake up to in the mornings. The view at this property is the best of many. During my stays in Florida I will always choose Best Western Downtown Stuart!! Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was set up nicely with a separate sink with plenty of counter space. Unfortunately the room was dark and outdated to the point of being almost dingy. And the sheets were kind of nubby. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating, but this is definitely not a four star property

Loved Location. Close to downtown. We enjoyed the downtown area. Restaurants, bars and waterfront was ideal. About a 15 walk. Enjoyed live entertainment. Spent time at the hotel pool. Grounds are very well looked after. Rooms outdated but clean.

The location of this property is perfect for visiting family in the area. The rooms are clean and modern and although there is a fair amount of noise in the area, including an occasional jet flying over, inside our room was quiet and none of it bothered us. However, I would try to get a room facing the courtyard / pool area if possible. The breakfast is the usual fare but very adequate in getting your day off to a good start. There is also a bar with limited hours and they give you a ticket for a free beer or glass of wine so that was a nice treat after a long day of driving. We've stayed here before and we will surely stay here again.

Meeting outside in courtyard area at 5 am that woke us. Large group of people were speaking in loud voices. We had to call front desk twice to get them to have security ask them to go inside. Hotel used as an outdoor meeting place waking guests is incompatible with a hotel where we are paying to get a good nights sleep.

Worst experience at a hotel ever you have been warned. If you want to be treated like a criminal for not being white stay here. Was treated like a criminal and had people looking over me the whole time even though I was a diamond member

They were one of the most reasonable and most accommodating for traveling with pets. My dogs were miniature schnauzers which are happy dogs but the dogs behaved themselves for the most part. No accidents in the room. They had a designated grassy area for the dogs with an oddly placed grill in the middle. So you have to navigate the land mines to use the grill? It's time to relocate that grill. What I didn't know was that the rooms that are pet friendly are all tiled and no rugs. So as a result the room was very clean. We could never take advantage of the breakfast with the dogs so can't comment on it. Nice location and it works.

This hotel is a good value. The only problem is the furniture in the room is a little old and dated. But the breakfast is excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I returned to the area.

We stayed 2 nights here and loved every minute of being here!!! My wife, our two boys, and I stayed here and the kids loved the pool!! Staff was so polite and helpful could not have been in better!! Breakfast was delicious and everything was perfect thanks again Best Western for all that you did!! We will be back!!!! Loved being 10 minutes to the beach too!!!!

I stayed here for 3 weeks and the bartender was hot & made awesome drinks! She was very nice to me & my dog. The rooms were clean and the pool & courtyard area were pleasant as well. I would definitely recommend staying here, but make sure you visit the lovely bartender!

A tremendous stay. Check in very efficient. Room in excellent condition, bed clean and comfortable. Many amenities, pool area looked nice, and provided a great view! Nice bar and lounge, and the breakfast was fantastic. Was like staying in a top end resort!

Stayed 4 nights. Very good value for what you get. Good service,fresh food at breakfast, nice view of pool, comfortable bed. Felt safe there. Everyone friendly and helpful. Excellent location. Would stay here again.

We checked in and it was a great start. The check in was thorough and the front desk was very nice. We got in the room and y tried to turn the TV on with the remote, but the remote didn't work. We called the front desk and they sent security to come and check the problem. They were fast and got us a new remote fast. Our room was facing the courtyard/pool. If you don't like light creeping in your room through the window, don't get this room. Lights from the courtyard, the pool, and the hall way comes through the curtains. But that's not what was so bad... In the morning (around 5am)we woke up to a train and airplane. Not their fault, just a heads up. But at 5am there was a loud screeching noise coming from one of the hall ways, who knows what that was. It kept going until well after 6. Then at around 6:45 a carry went down the sidewalk and every wheel was squeaking, so it seemed. We have up sleeping. We ran out for breakfast, and when we got back around 9:45 they had several housekeepers working cleaning, cool and great to see. But, then the yard guys started mowing and edging and it went on for almost an hour. Then during this time, someone was in an adjacent room banging on something for at least 20 min. I don't know if it was just the luck of the draw. But honestly, I felt like it was a complete disregard for anyone trying to sleep, sleep in, or try to relax. There's absolutely no way to do it with everything that was going on.

My name is Thomas J Abruscato, my brother and I have been staying at the Best Western since August 1, 2018. The staff has been absolutely amazing, Manager Barbara Hurley is a born leader and runs her staff with superb professionalism. Other Managers such as Nikki, Adam (Night Manager) and Tom provide great service as well. A few week ago on a Sunday afternoon I was stressed out from a long week at work and I decided to lay by the pool it was so relaxing and secluded. The housekeeping is great after the room is serviced it smells so good and the beds are extremely comfortable to sleep on. Terry, and Ann are great serving breakfast both have awesome personalities. Marylana the weekly Bar Tender is awesome as well, if you come to the Treasure Coast or the Stuart area DON'T DELAY RESERVE YOUR ROOM AT THE BEST WESTERN TODAY".

I don't like to complain but this wasn't a very good stay for me.Pros : Staff friendly, room cleanCons: Train runs through and Blows horn all night long, The bed had the smallest pillows I have ever seen in a hotel. 12 inches maybe. Called front desk about 11:30 because of the train blowing it's horn all day. I wanted to know if it ever stops. He replied let me see if I can move you. That was nice. No rooms to move you sorry. We don't know train schedule but it should stop...... IT DIDN'T

A client had our crew stay here and it was a great stay. The desk staff were polite and attentive and quite welcoming. The rooms were clean and quiet, despite the fact that the doors opened to an exterior walkway. We were provided a breakfast voucher and the breakfast bar was good. The sausage was not like most rubbery sausages found on a hotel breakfast bar. Plenty of dining options nearby. Clean and safe place to stay. Great staff. Easy parking options for large trucks but not semis. A/C units have an option for constant fan, allowing it not to turn on and off all night.

Wonderful employees, from Nickie at check in and giving me a early check in. Terry is great at breakfast and Trudy is FANTASTIC with housekeeping. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a great place to stay for a reasonable price.

We have stayed at BW Downtown numerous times since starting to look for and then renovating a house nearby. Front desk - always courteous and efficient, rooms - comfortable and clean. Our stay in September was an escape from Hurricane Florence and included our two Havanese. The front desk was very helpful in scheduling housecleaning when we could get back to take out our dogs. A highlight is definitely the bar. Marlayna is not only a good bartender but fun to sit and talk to. Our 5 p.m. “meeting” with her was a welcome respite.

The staff go over the top for your satisfaction here. Everything is so clean and in order. Nikki at check out time was amazing. I'm going to give 5 stars to housekeeping and Lexi the supervisor that made sure we had 2 extra blankets per check in. Overall great experience.

I had a friend in town who needed a place to stay, so after reading reviews of the area hotels, I decided to book a room at the Best Western. I got my friend checked into the room, which was a very quick and efficient process, and took notice of how clean and well maintained this property was. The room itself was very clean and was perfect for what my friend was looking for. Hot breakfast was included and of course free WiFi. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Stayed for 2 nights during a road trip up the east coast on FL. Appreciated being allowed to check in an hour or so early as our room was ready. We had a queen suite which, apart from a dead cockroach on the carpet was clean and comfortable. The AC was noisy and bathroom slightly dated. Sufficient coffee supplies, microwave and fridge in room together with iron. Took advantage of laundry facilities but no idea how much it has cost me as the price isn't displayed, might get a nasty shock when my credit card bill arrives! A lot of contractors staying here which might put off some customers. Bar open from 1700 to 2100, very friendly barmaid who appeared to have made a special relationship with some guests. Good breakfast with the usual offerings. Nice clean swimming pool and grounds in general very tidy.

The Best Western is a great hotel, I would recommend it to anyone, on July 1, 2018 my mom passed away on July 3, 2018 I checked in at the Best Western in Downtown, Stuart for two weeks. The Manager Mrs. Barbara Hurley does an awesome job in making sure guest get provided with A+ service. Nothing makes it better than the fabulous view of the outdoor pool and to just lay in the sun and escape it all is awesome as well. Nikki who works at the front desk has a great personality and treats the guests when they come to the front desk like she knows them for years lol. The Breakfast is great as well bottom line I recommend this hotel to anyone whether they are passing by or if they are just looking to get away. The housekeeping staff is great as well.

The pool was very large and nice, the landscaping when kept up on beautifully, the breakfast was good, they offered a happy hour bar on site, and 10% off a very good restaurant within walking distance. Loved it! We rode our motorcycles down from our home in Cocoa just for the night. And it was perfect!

Fabulous hotel and staff! great pool and lounge! very satisfied with our stay. the fitness center was great, it could have used a few fans though. everyone one was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again in the future

It was pretty late at night. Our family had been on a roadtrip for a couple of hours, and we were in a completely new area. It was getting dark and we didn't know any good, clean places to spend the night. We search on our GPS and read some reviews about this place. And we thought we would give a try. Me and my parents walk-in and we're immediately greeted by front desk employees. One of them was Tom, he was very kind, respectful and professional. He made the check-in process as smooth as possible and he even showed us our room beforehand. We liked the cleanliness of the rooms, which are a big plus for me. And the night and morning staff were very nice. Thank you!

Hotel is very pleasant. Close to historic downtown, beach, nice pool and breakfast. Staff is great. Check-in staff was unbelievably accommodating even with my bizarre situation: I booked seven reservations for different days, from different websites, and for different room types. I also wanted a smoking room for only one of those seven nights, which they happily accommodated. Since I am an elite Best Western member, they upgraded my room to the courtyard side, which I appreciated. The dude that checked me in was also pretty handsome. Their bar is definitely a hidden gem that I took full advantage of, maybe too much! Always lively political discussions going on there. Anyway, this is clearly the place to stay for the majority of your trips to the Treasure Coast. P.S. I've seen some reviews that note the train noise, but to be frank it wasn't bad. If faint train noise softer than a car going 15mph down the street bothers you, I suggest you don't visit the East Coast of Florida at all, which has been entirely and necessarily developed along the FEC train line.

We just made a short trip in to town to visit a family member. I went on Booking.com and Best Western had the best reviews and the best rate. Check in went quickly. Rooms were clean. The Internet wasn't the best, but I didn't have to use it much so I never called to have it looked in to.

Stayed here for 2 nights for the last leg of our 2 week Florida trip. Booked a 2 x doubled bedded room for 3 adults but the beds are really only big enough for one adult. However, we managed! Bathroom small and shower leaked all over the floor despite being very careful with the shower curtain (shower very powerful - maybe that's why). Air conditioning unit is quite loud, however despite the heat wave, we were able to turn it off at night. Location is good if not a little off the beaten track. Close to many American diners and good restaurants. We were there for the turtle nightime walks which were only 20 minutes away. Pool area is very nice surrounded by well kept garden/lawns. Pool towels are a little on the small side (you need 2). Breakfast was ok. Fruit was only apples and bananas but you could make your own waffles etc. American biscuits and sausage gravy was served but we didn't like the look of it (looks very grey). Staff were nice and helpful. The train that a lot of reviews talk about does pass by a few times in the middle of the night and can wake you up! On our travels we stayed in total 10 nights in BW and this was one of the better ones.

It gets extremely hot in a room without windows that can be opened when there is no power and no emergency lighting. The carpet needs to be shampooed. It feels grungy when barefooted. Was disappointed with that.

I have stayed at the Stuart Best Western twice in the last week. I choose my hotel from near the bottom of the cost search, and was surprised to see this hotel come in as a low-cost choice. I wouldn't pay $20 extra to stay here, but I did pay $10 and feel I got a very good value. Good breakfast, nice pool in an interior courtyard. The only negative is the signage is after the driveway and I missed the entrance and had to circle around twice to get in the hotel.

Staff here is extremely attentive and helpful. The motel is just average for a Best Western. A little off the beaten path if you are just stopping over from I-95. Didn't;t use the pool due t weather but it looked like a nice and clean. Discount offered for Flanigan's for dinner was nice.

Try not to stay on weekends. Rates go way up. Pet fee 25.00 PER NIGHT. The rooms and grounds are very nice, and staff was excellent. So so breakfast. The selection of breakfast items don't change, from day to day

We did a last-minute trip to Florida in early April. We ended up in Stuart by accident and really liked the town. The Best Western there was an ideal place for a night. It's clean and comfortable, even when traveling with a toddler. The staff was lovely and friendly, provided great advise on what to see and when to go. We enjoyed our free breakfast (despite a toddler tantrum). We'll definitely be back to Stuart, and would happily stay in this Best Western.

Stayed for 4 nights having flown into Miami and deciding to visit a new area for us on the East Coast. We were not disappointed. Old Town Stuart is less than a mile away and plenty of shopping/food stores nearby. We were lucky with the weather and visited the beaches on 2 days which can be reached in about 15 minutes. The rooms were spacious and clean and well equipped. The breakfast was certainly one of the better ones we have experienced for a 3 star hotel in Florida, plenty of choice and friendly staff. The train noise nearby did not cause us any problems, we were in a ground floor room facing the pool which probably helped. All in all a great stay and we would recommend a stay and definitely return one day.

We stayed here one night as we were driving down the A1A towards the Keys. Great hotel with a nice breakfast area with the usual hot and cold items. Room was comfortable and clean. Stores and restaurants nearby. Parking was difficult when we first arrived but the lot was much less full later in the evening when we returned from dinner. There are trains closeby which woke up my husband although I slept through it.

Nicki helped me over the phone to make reservations for 3 rooms. When I met her, she was just as friendly and sweet as on the phone. Easy parking, great location close to downtown Stuart. Breakfast room was very clean. Dianne was there every morning, greeting everyone. Good food, Best Western's are better than most. Rooms were clean and it was nice to overlook the pool. Only a couple negatives.... Yes, you can hear the train, no elevators and a few cars in back parking lot without plates on them. Way more good than bad. Nice pool area. Housekeeping staff, all friendly, Barbara at front desk great too and the 2 guys that checked us in, couldn't have been nicer. We would stay there again. We used the washer and dryers, (one out of order) which was very convenient.(charge cards only)

Lots of amenities on site (pool, laundry, restaurant, lounge, fitness centre, etc). Good location near other amenities. Reception staff very professional at check-in and departure. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

I stopped at the Best Western overnight on my way south. I had only one day to visit Stuart, and the desk staff person made sure I had the best time possible. She explained places to see, gave me a map, marked places to park, and checked hours for museums. The room was immaculate. The pool area is very lovely. The breakfast was terrific: a wide choice of food; a nice greeting from the wait staff; and best of all--delicious real eggs. The hotel is easy to find. Although it's not really walking distance to downtown, it's only a few minutes away by car, and parking is easy to find.

The employees here are excellent, very friendly and helpful at check in. The hotel itself was very clean, rooms large and roomy. Decent size TV, clean bathroom. Ample parking in the lot, no issues finding a spot of your choice, plenty of empty spaces (someone even had parked a large boat). Pool looked very clean and employees were right out there after a rainstorm clearing fallen leaves to make it look perfect again. Room had nice cold mini fridge, microwave, plenty of coffee and coffee cups. Shower hot, water pressure good. My only complaint was the persistent train that came by several times during the night/morning. I could not sleep through it though I tried. This obviously is not a fault of the hotel but made my night a little rough! Also the pillows here are very uncomfortable. I would have brought my own pillow if I had known. Easy drive to the waterfront restaurants and loved the town.

The two guys at the front desk last night were very helpful and very polite they were awesome. Room was very clean and fully stocked with everything I need. Yes you did hear the train but once I went to sleep I did not hear it again air condition work great Nice big TV in room all in all awesome experience definitely would stay here again

I tried earlier to post a review but it hasn't been posted yet, so I thought I'd try again. I seldom slam a hotel, but this one deserves it because, at least the night I stayed there, it was a blatant ripoff. Picture a sad, on-the-highway, moldy-smelling room that sorely needs updating. Now picture having to pay nearly $300 for the night. I've stayed in several BW hotels around the country, and this one was the worst.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay here. All the employees were so friendly and helpful. Especially Diane and Terri in the breakfast room. You gals are the best!!.Breakfast was great- a good variety to chose from. The pool area is so pretty that it makes it hard to leave for the beach. The room was more than adequate for our needs and we stayed 6 nights. I read many of the reviews before we decided to stay here and they were very accurate. If we were to be in Stuart again, we would definitely stay here

Overall was a great hotel, very clean. Staff excellent. Pool area was nice. Breakfast was very good. Comfortable bed and good location. Only hiccup was a loud vibration noise coming from bathroom area from water heaters.

Honestly if there was a Good rating that is what I would probably give this hotel, it is a bit better than average but certainly not in the very good category, not on my rating scale anyway. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms have been updated. They have a coffee maker and a refrigerator in the room. None of the rooms have a view of anything worthwhile, so any room will do, all of the inside row of rooms face the pool so if their are a lot of people in the pool (not my experience) you will hear them. Lighting is dismal and there weren't any plugs on the night stands in my room. The front desk will ask you if it's a problem but be aware that if your on the second floor and have a lot of luggage there are no elevators and no help. The hotel is close to breakfast joints, gas stations and main roads and bridges, it is in a decent commercial area and they serve a hot breakfast until 9AM I believe. I cannot comment on the breakfast as I had other plans one day and woke up too late to enjoy their breakfast on another day. Stuart hotel prices are, in my opinion, higher than average for other parts of Florida so you don't get the same quality accommodations that I have experienced in Orlando, Daytona, Delray, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, etc. for the same price we paid in Stuart. Having said all that and having seen the rooms at the Marriott, for example, at 60% more for a "similar" room, I must say that unless you plan on spending your stay in the room instead of enjoying the beaches you are better off in staying at the Best Western and using the savings at one of the many fine area restaurants.

Best Westerns are my go to hotels when I'm travelling and this one did not disappoint. The Downtown Stuart location may be my new favorite. Clean hotel all around, friendly staff, hot breakfast. Overall great experience.

Older motel nicely updated. Our room faced the courtyard which has a pool. It's located close to the train tracks and our sleep was interrupted by the noise from the train whistles as they went thru during the night. This did not make for a very good night's sleep. If you are used to noise in the night it probably would not bother you.

Best deal, clean and coherent, don't let the older hotel exterior fool you. Great staff, great rooms in the center of town. Breakfast always good. Great pool. Drive up rooms. Lots of nearby restaurant's.

My family rented a villa on Hobe Sound so we needed a few hotel rooms near by and I selected BW in Stuart. I had recently stayed in BW In Ellensburg, WA that was quite nice so I had high hopes for this one in Stuart. Let me say that their staff merits 5 stars for helpfulness and cheerfulness, both pre-visit with phone questions and during our stay. It also gets high marks for cleanliness. Sheets were fine, beds OK, but the carpets and other furnishings badly needed updating. Dowdy. Although the pool looked inviting, I found the water kept way too cold for comfort and skipped swimming. The quality of the free breakfast was mediocre, at best, so we ate out after first morning, which was disappointing. TV channels were far more limited than the package in WA. Another reviewer noted the noisy trains passing during the night; I slept through them but one person in my family had interrupted sleep so do ask for rooms with quietest locations. But it is well located; just keep expectations low.

This is a great place to stay. The rooms were clean and very comfortable.The free breakfast was great but the coffee was a little on the weaker side but other than that it was great. The bar area was enjoyable with a lot of people from all over the world mingling together. The girl behind the bar was great at her job. I would stay here again without hesitation.

If you decide to stay request a room facing Federal Highway or ask which one do you hear the train the least. The train travels through that area at least 3 times a night and being a light sleeper believe you hear it.

This hotels goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant. They check on you are lovely people to work with, it's relatively quiet. Not a lot of gluten-free, sugar free choices at breakfast (we're very health conscious) but the breakfast was certainly adequate.

Nice place to stay, there is a friendly staff, there are clean rooms and the hot breakfast is really good with a lot of different options to choose from. The pool is really nice and well maintained***

Stayed here last week for 1 night,its a lovely Hotel clean fresh rooms ,bar area that will stay open if there's customers,very friendly Bar staff.Buffet breakfast that was very nice and included in the price. 10 minute drive from the beach,there are plenty of Restaurants ,shops within walking distance, A special mention for the front desk who are all first class.

This was the third time I went to Best Western Stuart. It won't be the last. The location is great. It is within walking distance of historic downtown Stuart. The breakfast is great. It is a hot buffet style breakfast with plenty of choices. Much more than a simple continental breakfast. In addition to the free WiFi they have computers with a printer to use. The pool was great also. I will be back again next year when I go to Stuart to see spring training baseball.

We were travelling to Florida and booked a hotel thru a third party. There was a problem with this reservation and as a result, we had to cancel this initial reservation and had to find another place to stay. We decided to stay at the Best Western Downtown in Stuart, Florida. Check in was uneventful and the staff was very accommodating The room itself was very comfortable, clean and orderly. Upon check in, we received a free coupon for a drink at the bar up until 9P. The only problem with our stay was that despite a strong signal, we could not obtain internet access in our room. We called the front desk and they tried to troubleshoot the problem for us but they could not understand why we could not access the internet. If it had not been for this glitch, our stay would have been perfect. Despite this, I would recommend and return and hopefully on our next visit, internet access would not be a problem.

Great check in by Tom who gave us a discount when signing onto a Best Western membership. A large outdoor heated pool and a fitness centre with free Wifi, parking and breakfast. Came with microwave, fridge and 36” TV. No body lotion was the only thing missing. The free breakfast was awesome as was the coffee station. Good value so I rate it at 3.5 stars.

Check in staff was very welcoming, pleasant and efficient and the hotel was clean and comfortable. There were two double beds in the room with ample pillows. The grounds were well maintained as was the pool area. Breakfast in the morning was adequate. Our overnight stay was enjoyable and I would visit this hotel again.

I will get to the point.....a great in between hotel, good location,friendly staff and a satisfying breakfast.Would recommend this spot.Does need an elevator.Was bad on my knees...and a struggle with getting my luggage.

As a frequent patron of Best Western hotels, my experience at the Best Western Downtown Stuart is among the best I have had at one of their properties. Upon stepping into the lobby, I was greeted by the jovial front desk staff and genuinely thanked for my status as a Best Western Rewards member. The room I was in was absolutely immaculate and I could tell the housekeeping staff truly take pride in their work. Additionally, the grounds of the entire hotel were kept neat and free of litter/debris. The hot breakfast buffet in the morning is in the top tier of any complimentary hotel breakfast. This is due in large part to the fantastic breakfast attendant who kept my coffee cup full and the food selection plentiful. Typically, I opt to skip the front desk in the morning and leave the keys in the room when I check out of a hotel. However, in this particular case I felt my superb guest experience should be shared with hotel management. The woman at the front desk was absolutely thrilled to hear of my experience and thanked me once again for being a Best Western Rewards member. I would advise anyone traveling to Stuart to stay here due to the unparalleled quality of the staff, breakfast, and rooms at this hotel.

Car parking and check in were easy. We had a ground floor room overlooking the pool which was very comfortable and clean. The bed was huge! The shower is over the bath but the bath sides are low and there is a grab rail. Breakfast was good, make your own waffles or toast plus buffet with oats, scrambled eggs & sausage patties. Cereals, fruit juice and coffee or tea. Trains hooting were the only negative, but they weren't very frequent. Would stay again.

We stayed at this hotel recently in a room on the rear of the property. What we did NOT know, and were NOT told is that this hotel is very near train tracks, and the trains LOUDLY blow their horns as they go by. If you are a light sleeper, I would suggest going elsewhere as the trains pass in the middle of the night at random times. The rooms were acceptable, but as another reviewer mentioned earlier, they are rather dated and not worth the $150/night price. I would stay here again, but would demand a room more towards the front of the property or in the courtyard which does not face the train tracks (more costly).

In town for work and needed a place to stay. There's not much in or around Stuart but this had good reviews so I booked it. It was adequate-plus if that makes sense and a bit of a road-side feel. Not a vacation spot but a decent-plus overnight stay. Staff = 4 (of 5) - professional, helpful, BUT blew off my concerns about a shoeless (it was 35-degrees out) crazy guy, talking to himself and rambling like he was on meth. Property = 3 - old bones with no major updates but you can tell the staff takes good care of what's there. Again, staff seems to care about property and guests (but afraid of the crazy guy for some reason?) Room = 2.5 - tile floor, walk-way level rooms, older furnishings, older bathrooms, just ... older. Clean and decent but not "nice" or "new" or "fresh" feeling. Again, clean and cared for, just older (like me). I'd definitely stay here again but wouldn't be excited about it. I guess the Hampton inns, etc. have raised the bar for business travelers.

Came down for a business trip for a couple of days and decided to stay at the Best Western. When I checked in, Adam was totally amazing, kind and helpful. My room was decent for a Motel 8! My breakfast was a plus! However, people were hanging outside being loud until 5am and nobody stopped anything. Finally, I was able to fall asleep around 5:30am and was immediately out of my rest due to LANDSCAPING! Landscaping early in the morning right outside my room? Went to my business meeting extremely exhausted. Second morning, here comes Landscaping again bright and early with their employees yelling very loud. I called the front desk to ask for a extra hour to check out because I didn't want to drive to the Orlando Airport tired. The clerk said no problem and would take care of it. She insured me that I would have until 12 noon to check out. I thanked her and proceeded to take a nap. At 11:10 housekeeping came and I let her know that they extended my stay until Noon. She said '' Okay, no problem!" Well, 15 minutes later the housekeeping SUPERVISOR came banging on the door. I opened it and told her the same thing I told the 1st housekeeping lady. The title sums it up. This hotel is more like a motel upon first glance. When you enter, you can tell that they tried to make improvements. The lobby is nice- the rooms are decent. Housekeeping does a great job because the bathroom was clean from top the bottom. No mold issues or peeling paint or anything. The bed was a bit stiff and noisy. The overall decor of the room was outdated. This is a decent place to sleep if you're in town for a couple of nights. HOWEVER, there's is a train that comes barreling through around 3 or 4 am like clockwork each night. I was woken up every time. I didn't have to get up early the next day so I tried to brush it off and go back to sleep. If you're in town for business, that's would probably annoy you. Overall, it was decent. I'd actually return if nowhere else had vacancies.

Came down for the holidays to see my daughter. Best Western made my trip successful and completely stress free. Breakfast was served hot buffet style with fresh eggs and great coffee. The housekeeping staff at this hotel is simply amazing. They checked on us daily and everything is super cleanly. I stayed in 129 and the view was what I expect to see when I come to FLORIDA! Norma took care of our toiletries whenever we'd ask. Check in was a breeze and completely professional. Nikki at front desk accommodated us with a late check out. Big bonus= Security at night plus a great rate. My favorite hotel in Stuart hands down!!!

Needed a place to lay my head for the night. The staff was professional and friendly. However, the room and bathroom could use more remodelling. The breakfast bar was the standard fare and the bar closed early for a weekend.

Room was clean. We spent a week and had plenty of room for the the three of us. My toddler had plenty of room to play. Airplanes are kind of loud at all hours. Will definately stay again. Breakfast was pretty good. Light over sink was kind of dark which made it hard to see to do makeup. Nonetheless, it was clean! Ill take it!

This Best Western was everything we needed it to be: cleanly rooms, good basic amenities, and a friendly staff. The staff go out of their way to make sure your room is satisfactory, and the overall feeling of the hotel, including the lobby and outdoor pool, is relaxed and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location to get to downtown Stuart, Jensen Beach, or other destinations on the Treasure Coast.

Hotel was clean, staff was very helpful and the location was perfect. Many restaurants within walking distance to hotel. The hotel was approximately 5 miles from turnpike and the travel time getting to and from turnpike was quick. I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers.

Well maintained hotel, conveniently located and pet friendly. Beautiful lobby, large breakfast area and very nice pool area . Pet walk at rear of hotel. Two stories, no elevator. Outside corridors. I will stay there again.

The hotel is not situated on the water, however the courtyard is an oasis from busy Rt 1 and surrounding commercial establishments with nice landscaping and pool. And it is a Best Western allowing value pricing so you can spend your money elsewhere or simply afford to visit Stuart. Also being where it is means you can find budget options for shopping and eating when you need to, but close enough to downtown and other things as well. The staff was helpful and the place was nice and clean and the room cleaning staff left it very nice for me. There are non-smoking rooms but the property is not non-smoking so there is smoking at the pool and outside the rooms. People complain about train noise and it was noticeable from my courtyard room but no worse the noise I've experienced in city hotels from NY to SF and it was mostly quiet.

Great place to stay, very nice and clean.....good size rooms, comfy beds and pillows. Lots of restaurants nearby.....breakfast included, waffles, eggs, breads.....etc. Can't say a bad word about the place, will definitely stay there again.

There was a very pleasant young men on reception in the evening. He had black hair and wore glasses there was another person who was his assistant with brown hair a short man who didn't talk, or smile all he did was stand in reception and sneer. Very strange. As noted the other person was very nice. That's the good bit. Here's the rest.... There are lots of comments about the railway. Maybe the trains were not running last night but I didn't hear them. However the hotel is on the flight/landing path for the airport. The airport cannot be far away as the jets do scream over the hotel. Moving onto the room, after walking in there was a strange damp smell that stayed throughout the stay. They don't keep the pool area very clean there were dead coffee cups left on the tables by the pool with a lot of cigarette buts on the floor by the pool with empty cigarette packets on the floor. Which is a shame because even though the pool furniture is somewhat dated the area could be nice if they spruced it up and kept it clean. The bath water comes out yellow/green so if you don't mind looking like the Incredible Hulk after the bath fine, otherwise it's not very nice. Breakfast, the food was nice and fresh. It's the shame the staff apart from one lady were not more welcoming rather than wandering around looking at the tv and talking to themselves. This was most off putting. Why on Earth don't they put the coffee where the breakfast is as everyone coming in couldn't find it? Very strange. It proves people expect the coffee to be by the breakfast because everyone looked for it there and then gave up. It would save the waitress wandering around offering coffee. They give out a token for a free drink at the bar. Well what a miserable person the bar tender is. When I walked in he didn't say a word of welcoming. Rather he kept on talking to someone for 5 minutes and then wandered over to me and said “what do you want” ? If the token is to entice customers into the bar to spend more it doesn't work as the bar man is so rude most customers will spend the free token and then leave like I did. In all, an ok place but they need to liven the rooms up as they are dead and put life into the place and clean the pool area. Remember there are other places in the area to stay and they are better.

It was better than I expected, the location was perfect for us,,the motel was in very nice condition every thing was first class for a Best Western...I would recomend this motel to my friends who visit Stuart Fla.

My room at the Best Western was so nice and clean. I was traveling alone and felt very safe at the hotel. The front desk clerk was so sweet. She went out of her way to accommodate me. It was in a good location close to everything.

I booked two rooms for a short visit with family in Stuart. One room had to be ADA accessible and an easy walk from the parking lot. We were very pleased with the price and quality of the room. We were not happy that there was no connecting door between the ADA room and an adjacent room as we would have liked to easily assist our handicapped family member. Overall, a great value and stylishly updated hotel in Stuart.

The lobby/breakfast/pool were nice. The rooms are small and dated. Our room was not as clean as I would have liked it - toenail clippings on floor. The shower head was horrible- my choices were a spray that went out but no water in the middle or a dribbling of water just in the middle. Not a pleasant experience. My main issue was I did not feel safe in the room. The rooms open to the outside and during our stay, there were several groups of really loud people, using foul language, near our room, late at night. One night I was too scared to even call hotel management because I thought they would hear us. We ended up moving because of this. Also the walls are very thin and you can hear everything - including the maids vacuuming.

This is a great property with well appointed rooms. It appears that the property has undergone a recent renovation and has all the amenities needed. All the staff members I encountered were polite and professional. Centrally located in Stuart area. Great breakfast and many restaurants to choose from close by.

Only in town for one night and could have stayed anywhere but this hotel was our selection based on proximity to downtown. Plenty of parking close to your room. Pretty courtyard and pool area. Free Breakfast, too!

I have stayed many times at this hotel, mostly because I had cat. I did not bring her this time, hotel has been recently renovated and is in excellent condition. Breakfast is excellent. I travel alone and always feel safe here.

We had a relaxing stay. The staff was attentive and friendly. We ate well at the free breakfast buffet, including eggs, sausage and waffles. Great location, great price, and recently renovated. What more could you ask?

I am super picky and this is a place I would highly recommend. I have literally no complaints. From check-in, cleanliness, staff, room, grounds, everything was top notch. There is a train line close by but it was not an issue at all.

Hotel had nice guest rooms, a large heated pool with beautiful landscaping around pool deck. The breakfast bar had hot and cold item such as eggs, waffles, yogurt, cereals, juices, and coffee. The food was good and I would stay here again. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and the WiFi worked well. I had an Ada room with a roll in shower due to a disability and found the room and hotel to very good for a travel with a disability they even had a lift for the pool.

Wasn't looking for a five star hotel. Was looking for: clean room, good shower, decent internet, friendly staff, good coffee and reasonable hot breakfast choices. Got all I needed plus a nice pool at a fair price. Would stay there again when in the area.Hotel was right on Route 1 with plenty of shopping and places to eat close by.

The hotel has been recently remodeled and was very clean and updated. The breakfast bar was well maintained with plenty of food choices. Overall, a very comfortable stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice place in the Stuart area.

Clean, good value hotel a mile or so from Downtown Stuart. All was as expected for a hotel in this price class in Florida. Only used the seating around the good sized pool so can not comment on the pool itself, but all looked clean and tidy. Room was clean and the bed (King) comfortable.

This was a very convenient location to the many sites we needed. It was clean and comfortable and had a mini frig in the room. Great rate thru AARP. We would stay here again and highly recommend this hotel.

Stay at this hotel was pretty good. There was lots of amenities in the rooms. Coffee, Tea and even an iron with a board. Breakfast is included and came with the usual eggs, toast, jelly bread and bagel. You can make your own waffles. There is a swimming pool and only two floors. You have to request your room to be cleaned as this was a drawback. Beds were comfortable with air condition. Rooms were also very clean and had a very good cable with HBO etc. Free wifi that was pretty fast and dependable on multiple devices in the room.

We were impressed with the cleanliness of this older property. Staff were friendly. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Beautiful pool area and landscaping. Breakfast was delicious! Next time we will ask for a first level room since they don't have elevators.

Great staff, very comfortable bed. Had a courtyard room nice to be able to walk right out to pool. Had breakfast by the pool each morning. Room was extremely clean, bathroom appeard as if was recently redone. Breakfast was ok, nothing great. Oatmeal was like glue but make your own waffles were great. All staff were pleasant and helpful. Will stay again when visiting Stuart, Fl.

The check in was good. Early check in was allowed and very much appreciated. The food and Bev was just ok as was the room. Big party next door and we had a noisy room over looking the parking lot. No good. We had emergency and had to leave a day early and were told by hotel manager no refund even though they could easily sell the room. Manager couldn't be bothered to help. We won't be back.

This was very nice, well equipped small hotel. Everything worked well, was clean, and reasonable. The location was very convenient to shopping. Not too close to the beaches though. Probably not ideal for a beach vacation

the hotel was very nice and the rooms were large and comfortable. I would stay here again if I needed to be in that area. We were there due to a medical procedure scheduled for the next day. My husband had no problem sleeping. I was awakened several times by the noise of the train. The pool area is beautiful and quite enjoyable.

Greeted by Nikki at the front Desk who started our stay off with a lovely smile and complete knowledge of the area. Housekeeping is curtious and efficient.. The pool is clean and private and I can honestly say our stay has been outstanding!!

In the midst of hurricane Irma, at the very last minute I was able to book a hotel for my family including my 2 dogs, not only was the hotel clean, front desk staff was super helpful, kind and very sweet. I highly recommend this hotel.

Building is classic 1970's motel design. Has been very nicely updated. Clean, well maintained property. Great value and convenient to the downtown and marinas. Nice lobby and fitness facility. Comparable to Marriot quality but much less expensive.

We booked a room last minute and to our suprise we got an awesome rate. Staff was friendly, caring and extremely helpful. Check in was quick easy and we recieved a poolside room upon request. We enjoyed great relaxing time with our family by the pool. Breakfast was delicious and filling. we will use this hotel each time we are in stuart.

This hotel is right next to a busy train line and does not make any efforts to sound proof their rooms. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast is of low quality. The room was very clean. If you have ear plugs and low expectations of breakfast you will be fine.

I had a coupon and paid $69. for a single room. Internet and breakfast were included. Room was dated. There were some minor issues: not enough towels, peeling paint in bathroom, and falling apart tissue holder. Breakfast was the same each day (eggs, sausage, waffles, and/or oatmeal). There was fresh fruit and yogurt available. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was good.

The room was clean and well-decorated, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was very tasty, overall a great value. My experience at Best Western was just as good as we have had at the pricier Hampton Inn. Only problem was, when all other noise sources (A/C mostly) were off, the refrigerator made a tapping noise that kept me awake for an hour or two. There is a train that passes by during the night, but it was not a problem for me.

This is my favorite hotel in Stuart. The staff is very friendly. As soon as I walk in I am greeted with a smile. The rooms are always very clean and fresh. They have all the amenities you need: fridge with a freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. Internet was fast and easy to use. Breakfast is always amazing. The attendant Terry keeps your coffee mug filled to the top. There were a lot of hot items so everyday I got to eat something different. I was glad they had Soy milk as an option. Special thanks to Scott for letting me rinse my boat daily after night fishing. He would have the hose ready by the hotel's maintenance shop to help me clean salt off my boat!

Stayed here for 3 nights with the family for our son's swim meet so we needed someplace clean, conveniently located near the swim meet, and someplace where we could get some sleep since we had to be up very early every morning. At check in, the staff was very nice and polite. Our room faced the pool which I thought would be a problem but it was not. The hotel staff strictly enforced the pool hours which allowed for some good sleep every night. The room was on the smaller side and very clean. The beds were full size (not queen) which we knew when we booked the room - they were comfortable and just right. The grounds were kept very clean. The breakfast buffet was good - they had waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, biscuits, gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, onions and peppers, cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, juice, coffee & tea. The hotel was conveniently located near all types of restaurants and shops. Great location, great value. Will come back,

Might as well have slept in my pickup. The bed was made up with a bunch of small pillows. Couldn't keep your head on one. Impossible to get comfortable. Bed made up with heavy comforter with a heavy blanket in it. Ok for winter up north but for summer in FL... STUPID. Either sweat under comforter or hardly nothing to cover with. Really a bad night.

We booked last minute on Hotwire and got a room for $67 a night. It was well worth it. At first I was skeptical, since it backs up to an industrial area that looks a little sketchy, and the outside of the building looks a little dated, but inside the room was newly redone and the staff is friendly and helpful. The pool area is very cute and very well maintained. Our room included a mini-fridge and microwave.The hotel also has laundry facilities. We ate at the hotel breakfast daily. They had the usual hotel fare, but still kept clean and well-stocked. The coffee was weak and there was little fresh items (fruit) but there is a Starbucks down the street and I picked up some fruit bowls from Publix to keep in the fridge. Our room was cleaned well and promptly, since I came back for naps with the kids, even with all the sand we trekked in from the beach! You can hear the train at night, but I think that comes with staying in the area, and it didn't keep me awake. The pool was lively, but the hotel was quiet each night by 10 pm. We had a comfortable stay and we would stay here again.

I would recommend Best Western to anyone. I had a great stay. No problems, there was always someone there to answer any questions you have . The rooms are clean everyday ,the pool is a pleasure to swim in .

This best western has the most friendly staff in my opinion. They are always really helpful and caring. They never make you feel like you're bothering them. The breakfast here is good!! I feel like the rooms and beds could use some upgrading but for the price of this hotel it's worth it!

Had to stop back in Martin County for a day and found location on target when visiting family n friends. Breakfast was fresh and appealing for venue. As there were other accommodations nearby this place was recommended by locals.

I stayed four nights at this Best Western and was extremely pleased with everything about the place! I must admit that normally I do not like to stay at hotels with doors that open to a parking lot, however this Best Western turned my thoughts around completely. It is an older hotel that has been given beautiful facelift. As I entered the lobby to check in I could not believe how clean everything was! Check in was quick and easy. When I entered the room I found it to be spotlessly clean! The towels were thick and in plenty supply. The King Size bed was very comfortable. The room had a large dorm size refrigaerator with a little freezer section. It was not the typical box size dorm size refrigator you get at most hotels. The outdoor pool area was very attractive and the pool appeared to be very clean. The offered free breakfast in the morning. It was good and had a nice selection. The only thing I wish thy had was more fruit, but other than that everything else was good. The thing I really liked about their breakfast was they served it in their restuarnt that was very clean; not in the cramped lobby areas as so many hotels do. The breakfast attendant even walked around offering more coffee to people and was quick to clean the tables. The hotel did offer a small bar however we did not use it during our stay. Every employee we met was very nice and helpful. You can quickly drive to the downtown Stuart area or easily walk if you would like. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again on my next visit to Stuart.

The Stuart Best Western is convienently situated, if you are a beach goer. It makes it easy to get to Jensen Beach and Hutchenson Island. The hotel is nicely updated and very clean. The staff is friendly and accommodatin. The breakfast hours are reasonable and the variety of the breakfast items are good.

I very much enjoyed my stay. The front desk was always helpful with a few questions I had. The property was clean and well maintained. I very much enjoyed the courtyard and the pool. Full breakfast menu was nice to have.

We stayed at this hotel for one night and brought our 2 dogs. We arrived at the hotel around 3:00. The check in time was at 4:00 so the room that was reserved for us was not ready yet. The 2 gentleman at the front desk found us another pet friendly room that was ready so that we could go to our room right away. They were very friendly. They asked about our dogs and gave us treats for them. Then, they gave us a list of dog friendly restaurants in the area. This saved me time trying to find places to go to so I appreciated that very much. The room was very clean and it had tile floors which was perfect for the dogs. We could hear some noise from a train passing by while we were in our room but I know this cannot be changed. The hotel has a free breakfast but we could not go to it with our dogs because only service dogs are allowed in there.The hotel had several stores and restaurants very close by. Overall, I think it was a nice place to stay with our pets.

I did not have high hopes for my stay here but absolutely loved it. The staff is very friendly- from the front desk to the breakfast help. Breakfast was what one would expect - eggs and sausage but that is fine. The rooms surround a courtyard pool that brings back memories of how it used to be when we travelled. They have a fun sort of retro bar - I enjoyed my stay so much if I return I will definitely be back. I moved to this hotel from another hotel - the Hampton which was dirt loud and unfriendly.

Had car trouble and had to make an unexpected stop in Stuart, FL. This hotel was very clean & well equipped, good hot breakfast. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. I would choose this hotel next time I'm in that area.

We come here every year for the Boat Races. The staff has always been good. This year they out did themselves. Everything was excellent. From the staff to the Maid service. Great Job. Breakfast could use some Bacon. :)

The hotel itself is fine. The staff and how they treat people leave something to be desired. I am a Diamond Elite member at Best Western. I just got off the phone with their sales director as I have been waiting 2 weeks for points from my stay to post. I received points for my stay last year at this hotel booking under a group. Was just told by Barbara that my stay did not qualify for points because it was booked under a group. I inquired as to why I was not told that when the group was blocked by myself. She told me she didn't know. That's the answer I get. I brought in 2 teams booking 20 rooms and I can't get points for the room that I booked for myself and can't get a clear explanation as to why either. In addition the night security guard at this hotel needs to go get a job working detail at Walmart. I have never stayed at a hotel where you are not allowed to gather in any common area of the property after 10pm on a Saturday night. Wen are talking about an adult group of 7 people, not teenagers, or kids. I will never return and will definitely not recommend that any other groups book there. Made my experience pretty bad and top it off with not getting points.....customer service is awful there.

This is a very nice hotel and located in a nice area. We only slept here for a few hours as we had an early morning meeting we had to go to. The breakfast was good and is one of the reasons we try to stay at Best Western Hotels. The price was good and the bed was really comfortable. Staff was nice.

Stayed at best western stuart fl 15 days. Found checking in and out quick easy and pleasant. Pool was good size clean nice on hot day. Grounds are nice and very clean. Breakfast was good. Room nice ,water pressure great. Only complaint towels are like sandpaper. Would stay here again. Also close to downtown and a number of places to eat.

I decided to stay in Stuart, Florida since it was named one of the top cities to visit in Florida. After studying the hotels online, my wife and I chose the Best Western Downtown Stuart. We were very thankful that the reviews were spot on. The hotel has been renovated recently. The rooms were nicely decorated and fresh. The housekeeping staff at this hotel is amazing. Our room was super clean and had extra tea and coffee once they saw we were utilizing it. The hotel room included a nice size flat screen TV, single serve coffee maker, refrigerator with freezer, and a hair dryer. Our hotel room faced the pool and it was super quite. The beds and pillows were new and very much comfortable. The pool and sundeck area were maintained very well. There are also areas were you can sit and enjoy breakfast outside daily. The breakfast was complimentary and include several hot items such as: biscuits and gravy, sausage, pancakes, waffles, and real scramble eggs! The Best part of the Best Western is the staff. You can't walk five feet without a staff member smiling and asking if they can help you. This hotel is ran very well from the top to the bottom and it shows in how the staff interacts with guests daily. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to enjoy a stay in Stuart, Florida.

If you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to lay down your head, then the Best Western Downtown Stuart is great. There isn't a whole lot to do there otherwise. The Pool is alright, water is warm and there was a bit of debris (leaves, grass, bugs), but it's not set for lap swimming--there was a rope dividing the pool in half, so I didn't use it, although I would have loved to. I ended up walking to the tiki bar across the street one evening for drinks, since the bar in the hotel seemed to be closed (no bartender or patrons).

Don't stay here unless you plan to be in bed by 10pm every night because there is no common area outside or inside at all where you are allowed to hang out past 10pm. Especially a poor selection for groups who would like to enjoy each other's company past 10pm. Don't assume I mean just rowdy kids, I mean parents, 40 years old plus, are not allowed to sit and talk anywhere outside rooms past 10pm.

Went there for a weekend get away with my hubby. We live in Juno beach but needed a brake from the kids! Staff was nice, the room was clean and bed was comfortable. the only comment I would have is I wish that there were soundproof windows because we heard the train and kids screaming in the pool and in the hallways. Glad the front desk moved us to inside room or I am afraid the train noise would of not been pleasant.

We traveled to see our new grandson and took our Boxer, Gypsy, with us. Best Western only charges $20/night extra for her. At check-in we were given a first floor room on the inside facing the pool. The floors in our room were tile instead of carpeting - smart! There's a designated pet area with plastic bags provided. It's an older building and all rooms open to the outside, but it's maintained well. Breakfast was typical and the eating area was very large and comfortable. Gypsy couldn't be left alone in the room (their rules) so the first morning my husband and I ate separately. But after that we ate on the patio and secured the dog's leash to our chair leg. There were quite a few dogs there and many guests stopped to pet ours. Every staff member was courteous and friendly; even those just passing by greeted everyone. I used the pool once - it's big but water was still pretty cool in April. Our room had 2 double beds that were very comfortable. Who came up with square pillows? The TV got many channels but NOT A&E that has PD LIVE on Fri and Sat nights. We think our room was more for handicapped as the sink was very low. The shower had a good pressure and the towels were a little thin. This hotel had a bar and you could order food from your room. Don't know if it was then delivered from a neighboring restaurant. We stayed here 4 nights and will definitely stay here again even if we don't bring Gypsy.

The hotel was Nice, the staff is nice and friendly. The stay was nice. The room was wonderful. Its was clean and smelled great and we had a smoking room. You could even tell people had smoked in it before. We enjoyed the stay.

Was looking for a pet friendly hotel for 1 night in Stuart. This turned out to be quite the find. Would stay here again and wished we could have stayed longer. Convenient to restaurants in downtown Stuart. Hopefully I'll be back.

This is an older hotel, but it is in very good shape and well taken care of. The price is very reasonable and it is located near old town Stuart area. The TV was a large fat screen Samsung, but the picture was a little blurry. The room was very clean, but needed updated some. The electrical probably needs up for USB ports etc like newer hotel. Too many power strip in our room (2 with multi things plugged into them) behind bed and TV cabinet. Overall, happy with our stay.

The rooms smell great, even the pet rooms when I bring my cat! The breakfast are inviting, and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. My favorite motel in Stuart! The pool area and landscaping is as nice as any tropical paradise, and I love the old fashioned park in front of your room. Absolutely no safety worries at this downtown location, ever.

We visit family in Stuart several times a year and have rented hotels and condos as well. This was for a 4 night trip and we were within walking distance to downtown which was great for walking, dining, shopping and were just a few miles from our family we were visiting. The hotel itself was extremely clean and fresh. So refreshing to go to a place without carpet on the floor! Just seems/smells/is cleaner! The staff was also accommodative and very nice.

We visited my sister here in Florida and it was nice to have an affordable place to stay. I'm would probably stay here again if my sister is in Stuart again. I will definitely consider a Best Western in the future!

I live in jacksonville, and decided to take a road trip home!! We stayed at the Best Western in stuart. The receptionist was GREAT and extremely friendly!! The room was clean and comfortable. I really liked the set up!! The pool was warm. The breakfast was also good.. I am going back in a week!!

This was my second visit at Best Western Stuart. Once again it was great. Adam and Nikki were very helpful. This time I went in the pool. The room was great. Trains were not a problem because I requested a room away from the trains. The breakfast was the best. In addition to the Wi-Fi they also have computers with a printer. When I go back to Stuart I will go to Best Western again.

We chose to stay at this Best Western because of a coupon offer picked up at an I95 rest stop. It was NOT the least expensive motel advertised. The front of this motel was pretty average, but once inside it was more attractive than we expected. The lobby, the breakfast area and the pool area were all inviting. Our room was well appointed, comfortable and clean. Our only disappointment was that the desk clerk said no non smoking rooms were available at the coupon rate. We ended up paying $10 more for the night, and were satisfied that we did, but it felt a little like bait and switch. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful and the breakfast offerings were above average. I would stay there again.

The motel was clean and the staff very pleasant. The trains keep us up all night, however. I am sure there is nothing the hotels in the area can do about this, but if enough people complain, maybe the city can restrict the horns between 10 pm and 6 am.

Very nice find on Thanksgiving! Adam and Tom at front desk made check in very easy; the cookies were a nice touch. Property is beautiful. Staff does a great job of maintaining this hotel. Rooms are newly renovated. Breakfast is great and includes many hot items such as waffles, pancakes, real eggs, biscuits, oatmeal, and sausage. Hotel has a very large pool area and sunbathing area. If you are in Stuart, this is a great hotel with a great staff!

The Best Western was very accommodating since we had to change hotels. The staff was incredibly friendly. This is an older motel from probably the late 60's or early 70's, just guessing. Has been kept updated and is clean. The breakfast was what you would normally get, except they had real eggs instead of the fake ones. THANK YOU.

I stayed at Stuart Best Western last week several days and had a very pleasant experience dealing with Nikki at the front desk. She was extremely helpful, professional and pleasant. I kept losing my room keys and she was so patient every time to give me new ones with a smile, and just overall assisted me with anything I needed. She is exemplary what someone in her role should be!

One of the most comfortable mattresses and pillows that we have ever encountered in a hotel - actually felt very rested the next day. The staff were all pleasant and friendly and the service was wonderful. Really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great place! Extremely friendly front desk staff, both check in and out. Beautiful grounds, lovely, peaceful pool and patio area. Room clean, linens fresh. Only reason didn't give it a 5 was the bartender/waiter was not at all friendly, not a smile, not a word. Maybe he was just having a bad day.

The hotel is fairly well located, but a Long walk to the cute downtown. Check-in was a pleasant surprise by a very pleasant,professional young man who assured me all the rooms had been renovated.. I'd recommend booking the pool view /courtyard rooms as it's a large grassy area w/ mature landscaping and an inviting large pool w/ handicap facilities . Room had a mini fridge & mini micro & mini coffee maker. You could tell the room had new flooring, minimal decor & a very clean tub/shower. Nothing luxurious about the room, but the ac worked well & the curtains kept out the light. Was able to sign on to the wifi after a frustrating 10 min, the 2nd & 3rd nights couldn't log in at all. The 1st night the TV did not receive the normal ABClocal channels. It was fixed the next day. Overall a very good value. As I've discovered w/ many BW, the pillows were terrible, bring your own.

Wonderful place to stay. The atmosphere is delightful and the staff is friendly, courteous and want you to have a pleasant stay. Delightful place. So wonderful to see peoplle make positive efforts to give quality service.

My wife and I have been staying at this property frequently over the last several years and have always reviewed it positively. The property has been renovated and this stay we were in one of the newer rooms on the 2nd floor pool side (note no elevators) They have a great pool too! We tried to get a coupon rate but no rooms were available, however they gave us a rate better than AAA or any of the other discounts. Everything was going great until 2:53 AM when the Train Horns started. If you have ever been to Stuart before, the only track North and South goes through Stuart because it needs to cross the Waterway and the rail road bridge closes. I asked this morning why the Train Horns since we have never heard them before, I mean for the last several years! We were told that because there were some accidents or issues at crossings that now the train must blow their horns. Most of this track is for freight and they move the freight at night so as not to slow traffic at the intersections during the day. Any way we were there for 2 nights and the Trains were the same each night. It starts about 2:30 AM and then about every 1/2 hour.. Another thing about our room was the AC. It is plenty cold however it shuts off after it reaches temperature and then comes back on. This was disturbing. We wee told that it can be set at a certain number and the fan would run continuously but we never found that number. Setting it at 60 and sleeping with blankets did not help. Don't think this is a defect but just information. Breakfast was a non event, other breakfasts at other Best Westerns are a lot nicer. Waffles, Bagels and Toast, Oatmeal, biscuits sausage gravy. Scrambled eggs and sausage. Hard cooked eggs yogurt and cold cereal were offered. Thats it. Oh and weak coffee. This was a nice property and there is also one across the street. Since the change of the Train procedure we will not be going back.

Hotel staff is very kind and helpful. I booked a room with 2 beds intially but then decided I would rather have a king since my brother missed his flight. Tom at the front desk said no problem and moved me poolside to a king. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed and pillows. I was thankful it had a fridge so I could store my lunch and dinner. Hotel had a nice quaint bar with a variety of beers on tap. I enjoyed sitting at the pool watching the scuba classes. Breakfast was the best part of this hotel. I stayed a week and never got tired of going down to get breakfast. The breakfast had waffles, pankakes, egg sandwhiches, hash browns, and much more.

Room are clean and the staff is really good people, service in10/10, We were with kids and older kids and every people love this hotel. The morning`s meal were delicious and kids appreciate the variety and the waffles.

My family stayed at the Best Western Stuart during Hurricane Matthew. It was one of the few hotels in town that was open. The hotel staff made all guests feel welcome and addressed all our needs during a scary time. They offered extended hours for breakfast, lunch, and dinner since the rest of the city had no power. The entire staff was available 24/7 before and days after the storm. The staff really excels in customer service so much so that they delivered bottles of water and hot cookies to guests hours before the hurricane hit. Front desk agents at this hotel kept our spirits up with big smiles all week. Thank you Nikki, Adam, Barbara, Tom, and Nemish. The rooms were nicely decorated with a nice modern feel. The housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning our rooms . The room had plenty of coffee and tea that went into a single serve machine. We loved this option because each batch was fresh. The bathrooms had plenty of room with nice tub and shower. The pool looked great but we did not use it. If you stay or pass thru Stuart this hotel is a must.

We stayed at Best Western because of Hurricane Matthew and a mandatory evacuation. The staff was so helpful and polite even though they were very busy. We had several members of our family in town to attend a memorial and they were so understanding our added stress due to the storm. They graciously allowed us to eat the food we brought with us, as their restaurant was, understandably closed. We put several tables together and played Dominoes which help us to forget our predicament for a while. The Motel is older, but it is kept up and the rooms were clean and comfortable and we felt very safe as it has been through a few Hurricanes. I would not hesitate to recommend this motel to anyone. Couldn't use it, but the pool area is nice and the pool looked very inviting! Nancy T.

This hotel is located in a central part of Stuart. The hotel is located around a lot of shopping and offered a discount on drinks during happy hour at the hotel bar. The staff was helpful with directions.

stayed during the hurricane. this was not a vacation. it was very expensive and charged extra for our pet. it was clean. breakfast hours were short. checkout took too long as only one person was on duty.

Enjoyed staying at the Best Western Downtown Stuart during my daughters swim meet. The hotel is nicely renovated with comfortable guest rooms and common areas. The kids loved hanging out at the pool during our off time. The staff at this hotel is excellent. Each member goes out of their way to make sure guests are comfortable. The breakfast was from 6:30 to 9:30 AM. However, the hotel staff opened breakfast at 4:30 AM for our kids so they could get to the swim meet early. Thank you Terry! Very close to Downtown Stuart which has tons of places to eat.

My family and I were very happy with the excellent treatment the staff provided throughout our stay. The Direct of Sales was very helpful. She answered my emails in a timely manner when setting up the group reservation, always available when needed, help with early check in for guests that flew in early. The housekeeping staff were AWESOME too!!! The breakfast provided was a bonus!!! Pros: - Excellent staff - Clean premises, pool and rooms. - Great location. About a 10 minutes drive to Stuart Beach, good amount of restaurants near-by to choose from and a variety of store/shopping center to go to. - Complimentary breakfast - Free Wifi - Reasonable price Cons: - Sound of the train (If you're a light sleeper this may be annoying at first. To me it felt like it was happening every hr on the hr) - Tight squeeze around the shower/toilet area. Maybe a sliding door or having the door open outward instead of inside would help optimize the space. But having the sink/vanity area separate is good. - Beds a bit uncomfortable but not unbearable - A/C system loud

Enjoyed our stay, service was fantastic, room was clean, recently remodeled. Pool and pool area was clean, well maintained. Only improvements, bar needs more stocked liquor and food was only ok. However, overall hotel is A. Will stay again.

Hotel is set up like a resort. The rooms surround the pool and patio area. The pool is really nice and its open until 10 PM for night swimming. It was definitely the highlight of my evening after work. The hotel has a bar that allows you to purchase drinks to take to the pool. The internet was fast which allowed me to work poolside. Really appreciate maintenance giving me air for a flat tire in my rental.

My dog is the most important member of our family when we travel. The Best Western Downtown Stuart is a great pet friendly hotel. The pet friendly room we were given didn't smell like a dog upon check-in. We travel with our dog all the time and end up in pet friendly rooms that smell like urine all the time. This hotel however, has hard wood floors in the pet friendly rooms which keeps a fresh smell in the room. We stayed 4 nights and I noticed that my housekeeper would also steam my floors daily. The hotel staff at this hotel is amazing. The housekeepers make sure you are taken care of daily. The hotel pool is huge and has a great dog friendly area adjacent to it. The breakfast buffet had a lot of items on it daily. We had free internet in the room and there is a great business center in the lobby which allows you to print boarding passes for free.

Stopped in Stuart, FL on my way to Orlando for our Disney Cruise. Best Western Stuart had new beds and pillows which made for a great nights rest. The hotel room was nicely designed and was very clean. Breakfast in the morning was great since it had a ton of items like sausage, waffles, pancakes, and eggs. The staff was very kind and printed directions to Orlando for us. We will be staying at this hotel on the way back home!

Decided to stay at the Best Western last minute based on the great reviews. The hotel is newly remodeled with wonderful rooms with free internet, micro-fridge, coffee, and beautiful view of the pool. The hotel staff is very friendly and made the check-in/check-out process simple and easy. Adam and Pat gave us excellent places to eat in the evening that were within walking distance. Terri at breakfast was excellent. She literally makes sure each guest feels welcome and has enough to eat and drink. She also helped my husband get his pancake and waffle made. I highly recommend this hotel if your looking to come to Stuart to rest and relax!

The facility is old, but well-maintained and clean. The staff was wonderful, and accommodations War excellent. Location is great. Breakfast was wonderful. Real eggs hands meat and variety on everything. Good coffee and very good pool for the kids to swimming.

Good food. Staff should do more to promote restaurant. Drink prices are outrageous, but the menu pricing is normal. Plenty of restaurants and grocers within walking distance. Great beach. Nice rooms and courtyard. Reasonable room prices. Nice dining atmosphere for breakfast. Plenty of room in dining area. Nice bar.

We had the pleasure of dealing with both Tom and Adam and both were friendly and courteous! If this review was based on Barbara alone, we would have given 5 stars!! Barbara should be the manager as she is efficient, personable and knows how to get something done! Barbara was able to get us into our room early and also tracked down the makeup mirror I had left. She did everything she said she would do! The room itself was nice and neat and had been cleaned well. The chairs in the room were dirty to the point that I didn't want to sit in them ( the fabric, not the housekeeping). Even though we left our room at 8:30 AM and did not return until 6:30 PM, our room was never cleaned (no, we did not have our "do not disturb" sign on the door). W were able to get clean towels at the office. The burgers in the bar area were delicious although we felt that the bartender who was talking to the only other patron was not happy that we were ordering food (He actually has to go in the back and cook). The free breakfast was nice and the women who replenishes the food was very pleasant. The outlying area is a bit rough and the building is old and outdated. We cut our stay short.

I really Like staying here, Clean Quiet and great staff oh did I mention feds breakfast buffet. Hot and cold food Great welcoming Staff It is right off main drag close to eating and shopping too I will stay here again,

We booked this hotel on-line because the glowing reviews by previous guests and were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed at how clean and well-kept the Best Western in Downtown Stuart, FLA is; even the parking lot was newly surfaced. Our room was non-smoking and facing the beautiful pool area (one of the nicest we have seen for a long time). The room must have been updated recently because the decor was fresh and modern and done in tasteful colours. There is definitely "pride of ownership" showing here and the owner(s) should be commended. We are now getting ready to hit the trail, but before doing so, we are heading for our "included" breakfast which I am sure will be as good as the room and the rest of the property. Usually, I don't recommend hotels such as this for a vacation, but I think that in this case, because if its higher standard, it could be a nice vacation stopover. Thanks for a good night's sleep - we will definitely be back.

Our room was clean and well keep by house keeping. Our breakfast attendant was friendly. She keep everything clean, fully stocked and our coffee mugs full! The desk staff was great as well! We had a great stay!
