Best Western Plus Grow Hotel

A 20min metro from the central area and a bit further to the main museum islands. 10min walk to the metro itself. Check in was quick and pleasant with a lovely croatian lady. Free refilling station for water. Room was clean and tidy with tea and coffee facilities but a bit cramped. Good bathroom. Safe and enough storage space for clothes. Breakfast was included and plentiful.

Everything good!! I enjoyed my stay, hopefully will be back soon again 🙏

The Hotel. The hotel is situated just outside the centre of Stockholm, the nearest Metro is Solna Strand and it six stops from the centre of Stockholm. I purchased a three day travel pass( Via their app "SL".) It is valid on all of the Metro, Trams and Buses. There is an option to tap in with your back card and the charge is capped and valid for 75 minutes. When I arrived, and throughout my stay, there was no member of staff on reception. I saw several people including myself wait for some considerable time for a staff member to appear. There are several transport options to get to the hotel. I had read some previous reviews where the Arlanda Express was one of them. I found this to be quite expensive and I found a more reasonable option- The Flygbussana. It is a bus that connects from the airport to the City centre. You can purchase on their app - which then stores your ticket- it's, about £10 but you can also tap in a bank card when you board the bus- which costs a little more. I wish I had known that there is a bus stop right at the front of the hotel it's called "Tritonvagen"- thus avoiding the City Centre. The receptionist kindly printed out the bus schedule for me, it is a 40 minute journey to the airport. There is a bar in the lobby which is where the restaurant is. As with other hotels the beverages are more expensive than local bars. The lager costs £5 and it is only half a pint- they do not have pint/ large glasses. I ate at the restaurant on my first night- and chose their weekly special which was the loin of pork, which was cooked to order. It was absolutely delicious and tender, the mash was tasty and the vegetables were lovely too. The breakfast was varied and okay, lots of choice, cereals, fruits, sliced ham, salad and pastries. However, the hot options were not "hot" and only consisted of miniature frankfurter sausages, and the most disgusting sight was the scrambled egg. It was not scrambled, it was a yellow slop… Also I was requested to book my time slot for breakfast on the weekend!! Who knows what time they will wake up -I've never been asked this before… The Room The room was very clean, with a free to use safe, coffee/tea options and a kettle. There is a hair dryer, iron, ironing and an ironing board. There was a walk in shower, with body wash. There were tissues in the shower room, with hand wash and body lotion- the sink is a miniature. The black out curtain did not cover the whole window. There is very little storage- no drawers and just a small wall mounted metal pole with hangers. (See pics). The bedside "cabinets" resembled miniature stools. The bed was comfortable. If you want your room cleaned, you have to inform reception before 6pm the day before.. Out and about. As I mentioned earlier, I purchased a ticket for public transport via the SL app. The Metro stations are amazing- like works of art, I've never seen anything like it, some of them were stunning. The old town is a MUST it is fascinating with lots (and I mean lots…) of narrow alleyways containing shops, restaurants, cafés and bars etc. I used the hop on hop off boat they are situated opposite the Royal Palace- it cost 22 euros for the day. I also bought their 2 hour Archipelago boat trips- It was a lovely trip with fascinating facts. I think that cost 27 euros. I visited the ABBA museum- a truly wonderful museum, you couldn't help but sing along! I purchased the ticket on their website, but you can purchase on the door ( little bit extra). I walked for miles each day, stumbling across some beautiful scenery and interesting places. Some of the shops accept, SEK, Euros and Dollars- they all accept cards. The restaurants and bars only accepted SEK or card

This hotel is only for one night max , the rooms are tiny without wardrobe or mini bar. The restaurant/breakfast is fine but the seating totally unorganized. The gym is small but has everything you need Situated in Solna so good if you are going for a concert

The hotel is located about a 10-minute walk from Solna Strand metro station (5–6 stops from the city center). Our room was very spacious and clean. We stayed on the seventh floor and enjoyed a great view of Stockholm through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size A big plus was the "kitchen corner" in the room, which included a sink, refrigerator, kettle, silverware, and even scissors. Tea, coffee, and sugar were thoughtfully provided. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of offerings: salmon with dill, herring, fresh and grilled vegetables, meatballs, assorted cheeses and meats, smoothies, compote, and fresh fruits. The hotel also has an on-site restaurant with decent food and reasonable prices for dinner, which was convenient. Note to the management: There should be an option to do laundry on weekends.

The location was very convenient for me as I had a business meeting nearby. It was also 10 minutes approximately from Solna Strand metro station which was six stops from T-Centralen. The studio bedroom that I got had typical Swedish minimalistic styling and was very clean. The breakfast was very large actually with more than enough for us plant based diet followers (vegans). There were some other restaurants and fast food places nearby too. The 24-hour gym too was large and underused with two treadmills, weights, and my favourite a Concept 2 rowing machine (Model D with a PM5 monitor). It also had a sauna. The service was very good and friendly.

We stayed for 6 nights in this hotel and we were very satisfied. First of all, the personnel is exceptionally friendly and ready to help. Then, the room is cosy, large enough and very clean. Breakfast was very tasty and varied, including local fresh products. It is a very quiet hotel all day long. Even the location is a little bit far from the city center, the hotel is at 5 minutes walk distance to Solna Strand metro station and from there you have 6 stations / 15 minutes to T-Centralen, city center.

I stayed in this hotel with my family for a short visit to Stockholm. The room was large, cosy, quiet and very clean. The beds (including the murphy bed) were comfortable, as well as the room facilities (fridge, microwave, boiler, etc.). The staff were friendly and helpful; excellent breakfast. The hotel is very close to Solna Strand metro station, so the city center is just 15 minutes away. I'd definitely consider the hotel for my next visit to Stockholm and would certainly recommend it.

Great hotel in Sundbyberg, Sweden. Great breakfast, clean and cozy rooms. Helpful staff. Everything is great..

Short break for visit to family, room size for 2 adults and 2 children was ample and quite, hotel is modern and quiet. Have stayed here twice now and would definitely return. Breakfast can get a bit crowded.

I always like to stay in Best Western Plus Grow Hotel, when I have the business trip to the HQ of our company. I like the location of the hotel and super nice and friendly staff - an extraordinary good customer service level!

I can imagine the price was reduced since it was corona times, therefore reasonable for being in Stockholm (in Solna actually). A bit "off" for the tourist, but we stayed there while visiting family, so for us the location was good. No breakfast buffet of course, but a "breakfast bag" that was plenty. Nice staff, with so few guests they had time for a little chat. I can imagine that the hotel focusses on businesspeople, it was a double room - but just. No problem, we only used it for the nights, but there were - for example - only room to hang one towel to dry.

Grow Hotel in Stockholm is brand new and situated in Solna close to Stockholm city. You may take the metro and be in the more centrally located areas of Stockholm in just 10 minutes. Very convenient is that the airport bus from Arlanda stops just outside of the hotel. The rooms have a nice interior decoration, and the breakfast was great. In the evenings the fusion restaurant serves really good food! Actually it was the best dinner we had in Stockholm during our stay.

First off, know that we prepaid for this hotel, but was so unhappy that we left a day early without even trying to get our money back. We felt that it would be better just to get out. Secondly, the hotel doesn't have a drop off area. Such poor planning. So you either have to park across the street or sit in front of a bus stop and hope a bus doesn't come while you drop off your luggage and family. Third, the hotel does not have parking and staff had zero info where to park. The front desk worker simply said, "Sorry, I do not have a car. I am not sure where you can park." She was very nice, but not helpful AT ALL. Fourth, our room was not clean. There were items from other guests left on night stands. Fifth, our bathroom was a handicapped room - which we did not ask for - so I am not sure what their other rooms are like, or if all rooms were like this: BUT there was no where to put anything in the bathroom. No shelves for soap, hygiene items, etc. The bathroom was also not very clean. My wife did not even like walking on the floor. It was sticky. We had a family room and saw that there was a kitchenette. It was an odd kitchenette with no stove or oven. Even if this hotel did not have all these other challenges I still would not chose this room if I were looking for a room where I could prepare my own food. By forfeiting our money, you could say that we actually paid to leave the hotel. We literally counted the hours till it was time to leave. We went to the Radisson Blu in Arlanda which has WONDERFUL clean family rooms.

Great location right in front of bus stop from arlanda airport. Very good be value for money. Excellent buffet breakfast and good fitness center. But far off from city centre but that was not an issue due to the large number of transportation options from the hotel.

The good: * Very fast checkin * The restaurant service and food(!) * The bar, service and ABV drinks * Standard equipment in room * Chromecast * Floor to ceiling windows with good view * Very good breakfast The bad: * Small bathroom, gets very wet after shower * Only one towel was available in the room for two * Parking closed for renovations when we stayed, probably open now again * The VERY noisy juice machine in the breakfast buffet

Good location if you have business in the Solna / Sundbyberg area. New, clean and fresh with pretty small rooms but great bed and clean bathroom. The room was quite warm and the a/c didn´t provide cool air anymore in september but that was a minor nuisance. Breakfast not as good as that of the BW+ at Bromma Airport a few km away. The neighborhood doesn´t have many restaurans to visit in the evening unless you walk to Sundbyberg, also managed to find a small local corner bistro within walking distance. A solid alternative to the hotels in the area.

Due to a medical convention in Stockholm I had to take an hotel a bit far from the center. The hotel is located 15-20-minute drive from the central train station and the center of Stockholm. The room I got was rather small with two single beds and a barely space to move; I would prefer to take out one bed and have more room. The working area in this room is extremely small which was a bit uncomfortable. Obviously, free WiFi provides basic environment for the business traveler. Bathroom was proper size and has only shower (which is my preference anyway). Breakfast was good. All the required ingredients, from eggs, vegetables, fruits, chees, and cereals. I missed a bit more variety of bread. Service of staff was very nice and helpful whenever I needed them.

Had come with my family with 12 members. The accomodation is small but tidy. The rooms are very cute. Gym is also well equipped. The hotel is just 5 steps from bus stand, and just a 5 mins walk from from solna metro station. Its good parking space around. The food is always fresh and well prepared. the staff is polite and always with smile and always willing to help.. Thank you for the amazing stay..

I enjoyed every moment from check in to the fast check out. I also had a little surprise and welcome card with greetings waiting for me in my room. The staff is so positive and supportive. And the breakfast was tasty.

Very good place for business travelers, breakfast could be more differentiated over the time, but everything else is very nice. Early check in is also possible if there are rooms available. Close to metro, tram station.

Stayed here 3 nights, liked the hotel a lot. Location is very convenient - bus, metro, train is just 5 minutes walk. Airport shuttle (Flugbussarna) stops just in front of hotel door. Room is big and tidy. Bathrobes are of very good quality. We used gym and sauna 2 times, enjoyed both :-). Breakfasts are good. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only inconvenience I had - a too soft bed and too big pillows for me. And restaurant opens 17:00, so we did not have chance to eat there. If we come to Stockholm again, will stay here.

The hotel is actually in Solna but its much closer to the to the Sundbyberg centrum rather than Solna Centrum. If you are going by taxi please show the driver the address and mention where it is as it may confuse the driver by asking for Best Western in Solna. Anyway the hotel is brand new (in June 2019), in a new purpose built building. Downstairs is a lively bar and restaurant. The rooms were a little small and spartan in the 'modern style' but the room was clean and comfortable. The was a big window by the side of the bed so it was nice to lie and watch the sunset through the window. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The location of the hotel is good. It was not too pricey, especially compared to the hotels in the area. Breakfast was OK. The rooms are clean but mine had a certain smell. Perhaps it was located above kitchen, I am not sure. The bed was quite soft, so stay there if you prefer soft beds :) (I might be one of few people who don't?).

The hotel is new (November 2018). Room isn't big but ok for 1-2 nights. Bed : double and comfortable Bathroom : ok WiFi : very good everywhere Breakfast : nice but can improve the quality of the coffee [American coffee like water] They have good espresso and capuchino but you have to pay extra. Location : the sandyberg station is in a "walking" distance.

Being on business trip, what I liked most about the hotel was its convenient location. Fresh healthy food for lunch and dinner, plenty to select from at breakfast. No problems logging to Internet. Fine gym and sauna.

I intentionally booked this hotel as it was new and looked promising. I was expecting higher standard of service. We arrived late in the evening from the airport with a lot of luggage and the young chap at the reception could not be more indifferent or disenterested. No help with the luggage and no trolley for the luggage in the entire hotel! The room we booked a suite has a kitchenette with no stove. There is not a single wardrobe in a room, so 3 people have nowhere to unpack their stuff. I have stayed in hostels which are more luxurious than this. I know that the Scandinavian style is based on minimalism but this is not a hostel rathet a 4+ star hotel and a king deluxe suite....my advice dont waste your money ane book a standard room. No possbilty to open the window and you are stuck with the centrally controlled cooling/heating system. Very disappointed so far as we had very high expectations.

This hotel was opened about half a year ago. Style is quite funky. Rooms are small yet comfortable with really nice bathrooms. Nice beds and excellwnt breakfast. Approx a 5 min walk from Solna Strand tube-station.

The style is all very well but the staff are utterly clueless. Checking in was like performing a quadruple heart bypass and then when I tried to put a beer on my room they told me my room didn't exist (even though I had the key card and number in my hand)

Nice personnel, good service, stylish rooms, clean, fresh and new and great breakfast. But sorry, beds are not comfy, pillows are so thick I woke up with strained neck. And the quilts were to warm but could be used as pillow.

The hotel and its facilities have positively exceeded my expectations. A very good place for the solo visitors with tight schedule and regular service demands. During the stay there were no issues. Strongly recommended!

This hotel is very new, immaculately clean and well organised. Has a bar, Japanese restaurant and typically modern Swedish. Good for business travellers and very close to town life with restaurants, bars, etc. Airport buses drop and collect right out front and trams also. Mainline station within walking distance. Will use again

Stayed for a few nights during the business trip. New hotel with cozy rooms, restaurant is good enough to have snacks or full dinner. Close to Sundbyberg centrum where you can take direct train to T-Centralen.

A fantastic hotel in an excellent location for the city without being right in the middle of the action. Easy transport links from Sundbyberg as well as lovely facilities in the locale. The room was perfect - compact without feeling cramped, with plenty of modern touches. Extremely comfortable bed - I slept like a log, which is unusual for the first few nights in an unfamiliar bed! The breakfast options were many and varied, and to a high standard, so it's definitely worth making the most of that. All that said, the highlight was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much for them, and it felt like being welcomed into their home. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a trip to Stockholm, definitely give this one a good look!
