They made me feel at home, home away home . the staff is nice .great breakfeast .clean rooms . Front Desk Staff is very helpful, Bushra Manager, Camiila, Sara, Andrew and Mina, the best is they pick us up from the airport to the Hotel and all the time they are on time.

"Great People, But Had a Couple of Let-downs"

We stayed at this Best Western on the first and the last nights of our 2-week Virginia vacation. The first night we arrived after midnight, so were not surprised to get a 2nd floor room, which would have been OK if there were an elevator! Both nights we were pleased with our room--it was fresh and clean, with extra towels, and a sink area separate from the toilet/shower (helpful when getting ready in the morning). The (included) breakfast was very good, with the usual items--pretty good omelety eggs, biscuits/gravy, very fresh bread items (bagels, muffins, etc.). That first morning we were able to take the hotel shuttle to the airport so that we could get our rental car. On the last full day of our trip we arrived at the hotel very early (around noon) but were able to get our room. We dropped off our bags, then drove to the airport to return the car. We then went to wait for the Best Western shuttle to take us back to the hotel. It was a very cold, rainy day; we were sheltered from the rain, but still freezing cold! We waited 45 minutes and no shuttle came! Finally we called the hotel and were told that the second shift driver had not turned up, but someone could be there to pick us up in 15 minutes. There was no way we were going to wait in the freezing cold for another minute so we took a taxi (should have asked the hotel to pay for it but the front desk was really busy). Our second let-down could have been quite serious. We had asked for a 4:00 AM wake-up call since we had an early flight. We got NO WAKE-UP CALL! Luckily my husband woke up in time or we might have missed our flight! I will give a word of praise to a nice lady in the kitchen who saw we were in the lobby too early for breakfast and brought us a tray with cookies and pumpkin bread. Also the early morning shuttle driver was very nice and helpful. After he loaded our bags, he asked if we had had breakfast and actually offered to run into the kitchen and get us something to eat! So, good job to these two!

In short, this hotel is wonderful!! I stayed for two nights recently on business, and the service I received from the moment I checked in was stellar! The assistant manager (whose name escapes me, or else I'd give her a shoutout) was very nice and considerate, and she very much appreciated that I had been a returning guest. The room was immaculate. Likewise, the breakfast was superb too. Overall, I had a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this location to anyone staying in the D.C. area.

Booked this hotel thru booking.com for one night, my flight would land at 5 am so they told me I had to book an extra night because they will keep a room occupied even if I would be there only the day after. I wanted to be sure to have a room available straight away after landing so me and my family could rest a bit. Sent a mail for confirmation no problems. Arrrived at 5 am at the airport (very good shuttle service!) and they brought me to the hotel. Got the keys, went to my room, found out that was just left from somebody else. Back to reception, told the guy I asked and paid for a night in advance to be sure I will have a bed available and the room wasn't ready! Tired and pissed off,I wanted to speak with the manager, she was not available, the maintenance guy offered himself to clean the room for us.... No thank you! \\After a while they gave us a temporary room( The disabled people) while they were preparing ours. At least we managed to have a shower and rest a bit. Finally around 10 pm we had our room ready, thanks God. The thing is: place easily accessible, nice and clean breakfast is good and varied. Very close to the main shopping centers. What really disappointed me is that I asked and paid for an extra night to be sure I had a room after a long and tiring flight with my family and as soon as I got there the room was not ready. They did not know that somebody just left (lights were on and the bed was not made). When I finally met the manager in the morning she agreed for a 100$ refund.

Excellent service and a very hospitable welcoming. Our hostess was very helpful in finding extra rooms for our work crew and able to extend our stay when required. She was also helpful in finding restaurants for us to explore, since we are new to the area. The staff was friendly and very accommodating to our needs. "Exceeds expectation "

I travel at least half the year for business all over the US and am loyal to Best Western specifically because of the extraordinary customer service no matter where in the country I go. I stayed at the Sterling/Dulles BW for 2 weeks for work. In this case, I am more overwhelmed (in a positive way) than usual by the staff at every level. Every single person is not only friendly, helpful, effective and professional but obviously takes great pride in his/her work. Bushra stands out far and above anyone else in the hotel industry. I felt like I was staying at a luxury hotel with the care and attention I received (and I have stayed at luxury hotels to be able to compare!). The hotel is clean and maintained. The breakfast selection varied every day which is greatly appreciated when staying for a 2 week length of time. Housekeeping staff always made up the room perfectly. I felt safe and secure at all times. There is an outdoor open seating area with smoker posts (appreciated). It rained several days and as soon as it stopped each time, someone came over to wipe down the chairs. Attention to detail like that is high quality service. There's a picnic table in a grassy area in the back which seems to be animal friendly for walking a dog. The hotel does accept pets with an additional fee. I am supremely satisfied with this BW experience and will definitely return, either for personal or business reasons, again. Thank you for exceeding my already high expectations!

Last minute trip....arrived in IAD 10:00PM....called numerous hotels before I got lucky. I just needed a place to stay....not the penthouse suite. What a great stop, the price was unbelievable compared to others I called...but what really made it a great find was the staff....could not have been more accomodating....check it out if you end up in IAD

Very clean and courteous staff. Prompt shuttle service from the airports ( every 30 mins To and from ). Fast WiFi. Breakfast is full of many different choices so everyone will be happy. Everything one would expect from a high quality hotel. I did not have time to go to the workout room, but saw many different equipment choices.

My husband and I spent one night at this hotel because we had a very early flight out of Dulles in the morning. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful to us, making sure we had a "to-go" breakfast bag, the shuttle was scheduled for our 4am departure, and a wake-up call was scheduled. The room was clean; the staff helpful; the shuttle on time. What else could you need?

"Great for Shuttle and Breakfast services"

I love Best Western, but I will not stay at this hotel again. The sheets had weird stains on them, and they felt moist when we arrived in the morning. Also there was no swimming pool, they let you use Holiday Inn pool across the road and it not close to any good restaurants. The staff at check in was friendly but when we checked out they were careless. We are elite members and they had several goody bags that they were giving away to other customers but we were never offered one.

They also have a wonderful restaurant called O'Malley's inside where you can grab a beer or some appetizers as well as a full menu. "Rude staff, dirty rooms"

My family stays at Best Westerns frequently, and we've never had an issue with them. The staff are friendly, it's clean, it's a good value. But we had a horrible time at the Best Western at Dulles Airport, so much so that we cancelled our second night. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude to us. We had booked our stay here the night before we had to catch an early morning flight because we thought their website said the shuttle runs 24/7. When the receptionist told us that wasn't true, she told us that this was our problem and not hers, and offered us no help in finding a local taxi company or some other way to get to the airport. On top of that, our room was dirty, and the hotel has no elevators. We will not be going back to this Best Western.

Booked here last minute. Just wanted to thank the staff here for your hospitality. Everybody from the front office, to the maintenance guy, to the lady setting up buffet...super warm and friendly. Shuttles were on time and convenient. Made my stay great. It's a great place for an in-and-out stay. Room are a little dusty but all good.

Conveniently located motel with good shuttle to Dulles airport. Reasonable rates for leaving car while traveling followed (or preceded) by an overnight. Very good breakfast included. Staff was uniformly helpful.

"Overdue for updating"

I stayed at this property 2x during this trip. The 1st night was better than the last. Adequate for a quick overnight stay before leaving for the airport, but not much beyond that. 2nd night stay, did not get room type reserved, toilet didn't work properly, had to change rooms, service at desk seemed unorganized. Had to ask for room key, was not given directions to room, etc.

Stayed here while visiting family- great value, good location, great staff. I would definitely stay here again. Surprisingly quiet for the location. In room wireless was pretty quick, and I like that they still gave the option of using a wired connection.

"Where do I begin?"

I was in Sterling on 7/28-29/18 to present at a conference. I had made my reservation at Best Western through Expedia. I had unwittingly dropped my driver's license in my car before traveling to VA from NH (TSA allowed me to travel by asking me additional questions). When I tried to check in to BW at 10 pm, the receptionist (Mina) would not let me without a picture ID. I showed her all my credit cards, and even had my colleagues (who were staying there as well) vouch for me. No dice. She called her supervisor, who backed her up. I had to cancel my Expedia reservation (for $72) and have one of my colleagues (Casey) take it over—at $25 more. I wanted to use a AAA discount, and the colleague paying for the room didn't have a card. The other one (Lori) did, so Casey slipped her her credit card to pay for the room. Mina didn't check to see if the cards matched, and checked me in using Lori's license and AAA card, and Casey's credit card. (If I'd known that I would have used someone else's ID!) I don't know what I would have done if Casey and Lori hadn't been there, BW was prepared to let me sleep on the bench outside. When I finally reached my room the first thing I noticed was the smell of mold and mildew. Definitely NOT worth the increase in the price of the room. I understand that rules must be followed, but there are extenuating circumstances. I had another guest vouch for me, as well as all sorts of other identifiers on me. They could have even checked with the conference organizers! BW and it's employees showed no sympathy for my circumstances. TSA let me through (both ways) but BW wouldn't. I used to always seek out BW when I traveled. I will now go in the opposite direction. Shame on BW. (This is not letting me use the rating scale below, but if it did I would give the service, cleanliness and rooms a one out of five)

"Bad United Airlines Experience Leads to Worse Meaningless Hotel Voucher"

Extremely disappointing experience. Was sent here with a hotel voucher from United Airlines around 11:30pm after a long day of international flights. There were about 10 people in line with majority having the very same vouchers. Clearly neither party communicates with each other because the vouchers do not guarantee you a room. We were all informed by the front desk staff that hotel was completely booked and they couldn't help us so we were stranded at the hotel without a place to sleep. They did not offer to help us find a different hotel with an open room. We were just SOL. Luckily we found the nearby Hampton inn which was much higher quality with some open rooms so all of us could get some much needed shut eye.

"Clean room, decent breakfast"

Needed free weights; Best Western did not have them, but they have a deal with the Holiday Inn next door so I was able to go over and use them there. Really handy for Dulles; comfortable and inexpensive. (While mid-range, it was below $100 per night.)

"Good for One Night"

Stayed here for one night to catch flight next morning. Room was clean and adequate for the night. No elevator so you will have to haul your items up a flight of stairs outside as all rooms are entered from outside. Very bust place. Not much in the area as far as places to eat. Gas Station at end of road to fill your rental car before returning which is a plus. Room was quite though a lot of construction crews staying there during their projects in the area. Rooms are a little pricey for what they are though. If staying just a quick pass through this is fine.

"Not fancy but more than adequate"

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Dulles Airport and for its shuttle service to and from. We found the hotel to have a clean room, very comfortable bed, and a a really good breakfast! It's not fancy, but certainly convenient and clean. We appreciated the shuttle service and really enjoyed their breakfast. We will stay here again the next time we fly from Dulles.

This was an excellent hotel with clean rooms and amazing shower. The staff were very friendly and both checkout and check in were efficient.The breakfast was fresh and wide spread. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

"Regular Airport Shuttle"

One night stop prior to flying out. Very friendly staff. Had pre-booked a late check out and was pleasantly surprised to find that as I was a loyalty club member they waved the fee (love that!). Also very glad to see they run a regular complimentary shuttle bus to the airport, just book yourself on at reception, another excellent service. No dinner restaurant but the hotel next door has an Irish bar which is good. Another plus point is that there is a gas station right behind the hotel so it is ideal for topping up the hire care prior to return...what a bonus! Overall we were very happy with this hotel and would return anytime.

"Beyond Expectations!"

We stayed two nights here this week, 7/3 & 7/4. The rooms are standard for the class of hotel, but the beds, pillows, and supplies were very comfortable and well kept. The breakfast had variety each morning for the warm food selection while the standard items remained consistent like the yogurts, bread selections, juices, and two waffle irons. Both morning buffets were delicious and served with quality paper plates as opposed to styrofoam. There is ample seating, both inside and out. What stood out the most was the extraordinary care from the staff. The breakfasts were well attended by at least two to three staff who clearly took pride in their work. But the attention to detail and joy of helping didn't stop with the breakfasts. Each and every interaction was extraordinary. Better than many 5 star hotels I have visited. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing to stay near Dulles to stay at this Best Western. It's the people that really make an incredible difference, and I'm glad to have spent two nights.

I had a pleasant stay at this B.W. Everything is very clean and the service is the best you can get. They also have a free shuttle service There is a Resteraunt/Bar at the Holiday Inn next door.This is a Motel and you enter the rooms from the outside

"Plane Catching at Dulles"

An average rating may be an excellent rating for the right reason. This place was clean, had great service, and was well priced. The real reason for choosing it was because of its proximity to Dulles Airport. The hotel had no perks that stuck out and I really was not looking for any. Would stay here again.

"Pet friendly"

Nice place for a pet-friendly stop over. Front desk was very attentive and nice. Room was spacious and clean, beds were very comfortable. They have a big area for your pet outside. Breakfast was very good they had cereal yogurt hard boiled eggs oatmeal make your own waffles scrambled eggs sausage hash browns probably a lot more that I can't remember. The GM Rylan approached us this morning and wanted to know how everything was which I thought was really cool. We had gone to the Caps game the night before big fans. Definitely would recommend for a stopover especially if you have a pet.

Comfortable bed and pillows, very clean room and friendly staff. The breakfast had many choices, Internet was strong.The location was quiet. I would definitely stay here again. it was easy to get an Uber into DC from this location.

"Great place to stay"

A group of us stayed here for the weekend surrounding the Rolling Thunder event. Best Western is very motorcycle friendly, clean, and welcoming. We had no issues with any of our accommodations. Continental breakfast started early and was very good.

Nice hotel in quiet area close to Dulles Airport. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Hotel guests can use the pool at the Holiday Inn nearby. Breakfast was nice. Room was lovely. Wi-fi was adequate and reliable. No complaints.

"All Checkins should be as great"

I used this hotel because it was close to where I was running a 5K. Checkin was especially awesome, she went the extra mile with everyone I observed checking in as well as for me. She was friendly, genuinely happy to be taking care of everyone and is certainly a credit to Best Western. The cheese omelets for breakfast were also quite good.

"Basic hotel"

This hotel was very basic but adequate. Stayed one night on business. Seems to have a lot of guests staying for the airport. The room were very basic but clean and comfortable. Left before breakfast in the morning but staff was setting up and was very accommodating with offering fresh fruit and yogurt before I left. Would stay again.

Very nice hotel. Staff was wonderful and transportation service to airport Excellent! Breakfast had lots of variety and food was good. Only downside was exterior corridors but I knew that when I booked the hotel. Inside and out was very clean and well maintained. Enjoyed my stay.

"Bad business practice"

As pilots we always books hotels with allows us to change reservations for early departure, we arrived at this hotel on the date planned, as our schedule change to depart 2 days early and we advice about this the day we check inn, this hotels pretends to charge for the two nights we did not stay, we talk to expedía and then they agree not to charge those two nights but instead charge one night for early check inn, check inn time for this hotel was 3 pm and we check inn at 2 pm so the charge un day for allows us to check ONE HOUR early, they did not advice us about this, I make a complain to the BEST WESTERN headquarters and the HOTEL lie about our check inn saying we check inn at 8 am, we have proof of our arrival at 12,30 pm that day at signature aviation ,so we could not check inn at 8 am, I believed if you want the money ,well uses whatever rule is in print, but never lie, bad bad business practice. I will make sure my company stay away from best western hotel from now ON , they are banned from our business, no one did nothing to fix it.you loose a business just for few dollars. DO NOT LIE WHEN DOING BUSINESS .

We travel a LOT. We have stayed in hotels from 2 stars to 5 stars. Although the physical property is important, it is customer service that can make or break a stay. Today, customer service made this a 5star property. We were greeted and checked in by “Dan” (Sulaman Daniel). Wow! This young man should teach hospitality classes. Professional, pleasant and efficient. He made us feel as though we were checking into The Willard. I hope Best Western sees what they have in this man. As to the property- it is a great value. Updated rooms. So close to Dulles airport with a shuttle and free breakfast.

"Went for four nights but ..."

... ended up having five more! Best Western, Bestern Northern, Best Eastern, Best Southern, Best EVERYTHING. I booked the first four nights for closeness to airport and Washington DC. Thinking I was arriving at 12:30 lunchtime (from Australia), I was surprised to find darkness. It was 12:30 after midnight. Camilla found me a room straight away and after travelling for over 40 hours, I really appreciated her efforts. I couldn't bellieve things just got better after that. When I asked for boiling water (I'm a tea drinker), instead of directing me to the 24-hour coffee and hot water stand, they went into the kitchen and brought me piping hot water for my tea. The shuttle bus driver dropped me off at the correct stop for a Washington bus. My shaving cream was arrested and confiscated by airport authorities - Best Western met this need immediately. Dan, Frank, Erick and Camilla helped me with taxis, shuttle to local Walmart and shopping centre, buses to Washington, ensuring I had U.S. currency in low denominations, posting my post cards to Australia and England, showing me how to make waffles (delicious), and more boiling hot water for my endless thirst for more tea. Breakfast? The ladies could not have been more accommodating. They seemed to enjoy my voracious appetite and accompanying compliments. Thank you ladies.

We decided that we needed a hotel that was close to the airport just for one night. We chose this hotel as it was great on price and we didn't need any other facilities offered by other hotels. The room was adequate for the one night yet we did find it comfortable. The thing that made it a great stay were the staff on reception and the ladies in the breakfast room. These ladies were genuinely interested in helping others and ensuring that everyone had a good breakfast. It was a pure delight to see this which you wouldn't necessarily get with other hotels. Breakfast was actually a surprise. Considering it's included in the price, you do get a good choice that ranged from fresh fruit, yogurts, Danish pastries, waffles (cook yourself), toast, bagels, and cooked food such as sausage patties, hash browns, and scammed eggs. Good range of hot drinks too. Overall surprisingly good hotel and really good value for money with the addition of very friendly and helpful staff.

"Great for the money"

Honestly for what you pay and how close it is to the airport I don't think you can do any better. I know it depends on when you stay, but we stayed on a Friday night before a 6:00am flight to Florida and it was only $59. The only thing to be mindful of is they don't pick up at the airport when you come home after a certain time. It's not a 24hour pick up situation.

"Great place to stay for Dulles Airport Parking"

This Best Western is outstanding. The service was excellent, the rooms were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast is very good with a great selection and variety of breakfast items. The shuttle to the airport was on time with a very pleasant driver. The pick up from the airport was also a very positive experience. I highly recommend this hotel for overnight parking in using the park and Fly.

"Not quite a deal as expected"

Overall the hotel met our needs. The only surprise was an additional charge for extended parking. We had to pay $35 extra dollars to park for a week. Cheap as compared to airport charges, but this brought the price right up tp other close hotels with a higher rating.

"Nice place"

Our family was driving down the East coast of the USA and were looking for a affordable hotel stops along the way. This was one we selected and in comparison to the other two we stayed at this was by far the best. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, free Wi-Fi, and the hot breakfast was great! The only downside was that it was a little out of our direct path and there were a few surprise tolls along the way but nothing the hotel can change!

"Excellent breakfast buffet, good price for the area"

No major complaints about the establishment. Staff was helpful and available, especially Sayed and Sarah. Everything is very well maintained. My only two complaints are on the quality of the paper products - really cheap tissue and tp, and the lack of a response to an email I sent requesting some special service. A top class business doesn't have to honor every request, but they should ALWAYS respond with an explanation. As I said, not much to complain about. Good value for the money. I'd recommend the king sized bed with the sleeper couch option if you want to use your laptop very much. The other room I was in initially was full of beds! Not necessary for the single business traveler.

Spent the extra $40 for a hotel room that offers a decent night sleep. Beds are in need to replacement; wifi is good and you can leave your car there for $5/day if you're catching a flight. We paid $80 for a Motel 6 type of room.

"Great Bang for your Buck!"

It a Best Western so you don't need to know if has a spa. But if you are flying in late at night and just need to get to your room to rest this is a great hotel for the price. The shuttle was waiting on us, the check in super fast, the room were clean and it was quiet. I had a few hour before I flew out the next day and the took me back to the airport to catch public transportation to go sightseeing. VERY HELPFUL staff!

"Filthy Rooms"

This place is filthy. When I checked in, I immediately had to call the front desk because there was a dried urine stain on the toilet seat. They sent Edwin from housekeeping to clean it, who apologized and told me that my room had not been inspected before I checked in. I later realized he was telling truth because when I flung the covers back on the bed, the blanket was full of someone's hair. I'm surprised I didn't see bedbugs. This place looks like those seedy motels that you see people on Cheaters getting busted in. Will never book here again.

Staff was AMAZING. The hotel was nice, clean and accommodating in all areas. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only thing I didn't like was that you had to go outside to get to your room however; it wasn't a deal breaker.

"Good for a short stay"

We checked in late and out early, so our experience may be a bit limited. The room is more like that of a motel (no elevator in the property it seems). Wifi was strong. Room amenities were minimal. Breakfast was comparatively better. We could not spend more time because of an early flight. Shuttle runs every half hour and took us about ten minutes to arrive at the terminal. The outgoing shuttle was full. All in all, I think this best western is a good place for a night.

"Very friendly staff"

I was forced to stay at this hotel due to a cancelled flight. I can't say enough how pleasant and helpful every staff member was to me. The room itself was adequate and clean. I didn't love that my room opened directly to the outside, and there was a lot of traffic noise. Breakfast was standard free fare, good enough for what it was. But again, I would come back if I needed a Dulles airport stay again, just because of the friendly faces.

There is nothing special about this hotel. It's adequate and near the airport. There had been some painting done in the room and the workmanship was very poor--drips and splatters were visible. The breakfast had some good options and there is a good-size breakfast area.

"What a winner!"

This hotel was SO nice, very modern, very clean, and the best thing about it was the staff! I was surprised for a Best Western however this place was awesome. My room (#137) door didn't close properly and the trucks exhaust pipes parked outside of my room filled my room with the latest greatest smell of gas and exhaust. However, even with that, my stay was STILL OUTSTANDING! The bed was very comfortable and the front desk even allowed a late check out. When in the area again, I will stay here for certain!

Excellent value. Clean , neat ,friendly hotel. Close to the airport with a free shuttle service. Good breakfast and wifi included. Recommended for a short stay prior to an early morning flight. Simple but provides everything you need and a high standard of cleanliness.

"Very Professional"

Staff was calm despite a lot of activity during the time of check in.The property is beautiful with many(if not all) rooms having access directly to the outside. The bed were very comfortable, especially the pillows. Because I have an unusual sleep schedule, it was difficult to fall asleep but once I did I was out all night which is a rarity for me

The room was very comfortable and clean. Large with comfortable king sized bed. Good shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to and for the airport worked great on 30 minute intervals The free breakfast was excellent. Lots of good food and decent coffee! All I could ask at the best price within easy shuttle to the airport. I heard another guest using a $5 night car parking option which sounds like a good deal!

"Served It's Purpose"

I would imagine that, like me, a large portion of travelers who use this hotel are flying out of Dulles Airport. If so, this BW works perfectly. Clean, comfortable, close to nice restaurants, upscale business neighborhood and, most important, just 10 minutes from the airport. Moreover, their shuttle service was very timely and efficient. Dan at the front desk was friendly and responsive to my several questions.

"Ok for one night between flights"

Staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was decent for the price. The mattress and pillows were comfortable, but the blanket was super-thin. I cranked the heat up, so I was warm enough, but my personal preference is for a heavier blanket and cooler room. Not impressed by breakfast - the scrambled eggs were very dry. But I suppose that's still better than the continental breakfast included with most hotel stays in this price range.

"Great for getting to Dulles Airport"

This hotel is just 5 miles from Dulles airport. Plus there is a gas station at the end of the street AFTER the hotel so it is easy to fill a rental car the night before if you have an early flight. The street may once have had an exit to Sully Road (28) but this is blocked so ignore your GPS if it tells you to go right. All the rooms are accessed from balcony or walkway instead of an internal corridor. Despite being so close to the main road the noise was low. I will certainly stay here again when leaving Dulles in the morning.

The complementary hot breakfast and shuttle to airport met our needs perfectly. Staff treated like us Gold reward guests... friendly, very helpfull and accommodating. Our flight was delayed and I wasn't feeling very well, the hotel extended our check out time so that I could rest up a bit. That was really appreciated.

"Excellent Recovery Haven"

This is a typical Best Westin establishment, it's neat, clean and extremely functional. We used this hotel as a "recovery stop" after an 18 hour trans-atlantic flight from Johhanesburg, via Dakar across several time zones. Staff was super professional and very friendly. The shuttel services offerd from Dulles airport are regular, on-time and drivers are professional with a good local knowledge, which we apreciate very much indeed. The quality of sleep was great, we left the next morning for Austin TX, fully rested and eager to get our holiday on track. I can recommend this establishment to anyone without any reservation.

Great Staff The lady behind the counter could not have any more helpful. She told me about the extended stay parking and the shuttle service. It saved me money and was a lot more convenient than me driving my self to the airport. My stay with Best Western was very good and that will be my hotel of choice for the future.

This is the top Best Western I've stayed in. It was clean, and had a cheerful, friendly, and helpful staff. It seemed to be very well-managed, and it served a great breakfast. I had a great experience there and felt I got real value for the money I spent.

I stay at TV Townplace suites across the street because of my Marriott Elite status. I visit that area a lot. Their shuttle drivers, luis, Haytham, Gary & Dominik are the best employees anyone would deal with. They are proud of what they are doing and they love it. FD also, are the mist knowledgeable and cheerful. That says a lot about the management team there. They deserve to be acknowledged and thanked in writing.

"Best Western Sterling, VA. near to Dulles Airport"

This BW is a Winner for all who travel. This year 2017 I have used their BW Hotel many times located in Sterling, VA. The ride to/from the airport IAD is very short, 10 minutes or less. Staff is very helpful and takes care of me in a short period of time. Responds to ALL of my request in location of the room. Use this BW as it is worth the money spent.

Parked our car here, took the shuttle for a United flight & shuttle picked us up upon our return. Long travel day and during our check in noticed what could possibly be a reason for noise right above us. Mina accommodated us by moving us to another room. We were then far from the possible noise. She was very kind & efficient. Breakfast was fine. Love the 24hr coffee. Will definitely stay here again when using Dulles.

Amazing hotel, very clean and cozy. Professional and friendly staff. Everything you could possibly want within reason is provided on site or very close by. Breakfast was fresh and not and plentiful. Very clean, (they mop the sidewalks daily). Safe and peaceful location. I felt very pampered. The internet was slow but that could have been from the storm that was moving in. Amazing stay, highly recommend this hotel!

Very happy with our stay the room and mattress very comfortable. Breakfast was very worthwhile. Our disatifications are small yet I feel could be addressed easily. 1. Cost of a (little) bottle of water=$2.50. 2. Having a sign to say at desk we have complementary toiletries. Yet could not get a Q tip, an alcohol wipe, what would be good to widen the supples varieties. To thier credit, we wanted to dispose of a medical waste and the maintainance man took control of the situation and took a plastic bag sealed it and assured us it will be disposed of properly. All in all I would definitely stay here again

"Beyond expectations"

Just needed basic lodging before an early flight, so we stayed here due to the combination of moderate price and good reviews. All staff encountered were extremely pleasant, including the manager who greeted every guest at breakfast. Room was quiet and clean, and breakfast had hot entrees and good selection comparable to more expensive accommodations. Overall a very good experience and great value.

Just stayed 1 night and place was clean. Panic at reception as the lady couldn't find our booking. Just off a flight so was shocked but it was sorted. 24hr tea and coffee and the hotel nearby for food and drink. Complimentary buffet breakfast. A bit in the basic side but ample for a breakfast. Would recommend but have to stress a bit basic for a very reasonable price. Air conditioning fridge and safe all included in rooms

I spent a night here while traveling for business. Very close and easy drive from Dulles airport. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There are no frills but all the basics are there including a microwave and refrigerator. The free breakfast in the morning was amazing! Staff was friendly and helpful. It doesn't have a restaurant but there is one down the street. Only part I didn't care for is all the rooms face the outside and there's no elevator. For 2 floors that's ok and luckily my luggage was light.

Friendly staff, clean room, comfy beds at a reasonable rate. Appreciate the shuttle service to and from the airport. Driver is so pleasant and helpful. Always carry a smile on his face. Also took advantage of another shuttle to the mall for dinner. TV reception is surprisingly poor. Ended up having to watch a game on the laptop. Overall a very pleasant stay.

I had read TA in planning our vacation and read one or two negative reviews on this motel. This place could not have been cleaner, easy to get to and accommodating to our VERY early flight out of Dulles. The room was perfect. The bed was VERY comfortable. But the staff REALLY makes this place special. Since our checkout was in the wee hours, they arranged a taxi service ahead of time for us; they packed take-along breakfasts for us and even prepared fresh coffee just for my wife and I. What more could one ask for in an airport motel ? NOTHING !!

We arrived late (after midnight) after a long day and 3 flights from Australia and some issues picking up our hire car.We appreciated the easy check in and there is plenty of parking. We struggled to get our big bags up the stairs but the room was a good size and clean. The bed was comfortable and the area quiet and we slept well.The bathroom facilities were good, although the flushing toilets were quite loud. The breakfast was OK with reasonable variety. We would recommend this hotel as a good airport hotel.

Customer service and breakfast was out of this world! Keep expectations of the room in mind, but the hospitality of the staff was some of the best I have ever had. I would recommend this hotel if you need to be close to the airport and would like a good hearty breakfast in the morning.

I can't say enough about what a great value this hotel is. If you need a place to stay near Dulles Airport, this is the place. Free shuttle to and from the airport so if you are flying out in the morning, turn in your rental car the evening before to avoid hassles before an early morning flight. Walk to O'Malley's right across the street for dinner.

Hotel provide free wifi and free airport shuttle service is from 4 am. It is excellent for early traveller. They do offer on-the-go breakfast box for those who need to check-out early, but the box is rather unappetising. The service is good with every staff willing to help. The room condition is moderate, but I don't really like the access to the room (outside the office, without any other gate). Overall, it is a budget hotel and a place to stay for early and late flight connection.

Positives: Staff was extremely pleasant to deal with (front desk and maintenance). Hotel is close to airport. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes to Dulles airport. Negatives: Cable sucks in this hotel. If you want to watch anything on tv, I would suggest another place. Not many places to walk for food around hotel.

My husband and I were going to be in Europe for two weeks, so I searched for the best deal among the hotels that offered parking as long as you stayed for one night. This was absolutely the right choice. It was easy to park our car, get to the airport, and catch the shuttle when we returned to Washington. The hotel was clean and very accommodating. The hotel staff was so friendly and helpful; everything went smoothly. We will definitely stay here the next time we fly out of Dulles.

Great find. Erick at check in was very professional and helpful. Hotel does not have restaurant but there is one a very short walk away and room service is available. Long term parking is available at no cost and transport to and from airport is also available. Room is clean and well appointed.

Iceland aircrew were top notch, aircraft clean, flights on time and uneventful. Family and I would recommend this airline and the Best Western Hotel suite (Dulles/Sterling VA) for single/business/family travelers. Good connections to the hotel, which was clean, staff friendly, well located, and secure, with buffet breakfasts to look forward to every AM. Family and I recommend.

This hotel is wonderful! Very clean rooms, but small. Was initially concerned about the rooms opening to the outdoors, but we felt very safe. Hotel is in a nice, quiet area with single family homes across the street. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

I cannot say enough about how great I slept here. The bed was so comfortable with lovely linens but the best thing was the whisper quiet AC. Also there was no traffic noise so it was a great night's sleep. I don't think I've ever said that about a motel before.

Especially, your hotel is good friendly for my dog. It was safty to stay at your hotel even if we have pet. And enverment was good. Breakfirst is a little poor, but there was no problem. Unfortunatly location was a little confuse, so it is helpful if there is detail information map on the web site.

The staff were excellent. Their patience was also out standing. My wife needed to get a PC and print off the passes for our flight, the staff was there to help her. We needed a driver to take us earlier than their service started, the staff took care of that.

We have had two extended stays here. We couldn't find a nice hotel at a better price in our desired location. We highly recommend it for its delicious breakfasts and clean, quiet, comfortable rooms. Not noted on its website is the free use of the swimming pool at a neighboring hotel.

Convenient location for layovers at Dulles. Hotel offers shuttle to nearby mall which has several restaurants as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind there's no elevator (in case you have lots of luggage)!

If you are looking for a economy priced hotel in the Dulles Airport area. I highly recommend this one. I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. ALL staff from the manager to the service workers/maids/shuttle drivers, constantly were attentive and asking what they could do to help you. Only in extremely high priced hotels have I experienced this level of customer service. The hotel is very clean and rooms are very nice. There is 24/7 coffee available in the lobby and a small convenience store. There is a swimming pool and restaurant across the street at Holiday Inn where they also are very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts are free and they offer a nice variety from homemade waffles, to fruit and yogurt, bagels, eggs, bacon.....something for everyone. They have a nice little breakfast area where you can also take a coffee break and work at a table. Wifi is free and works well. I had no issues with this hotel and hope that someday my travels will allow me to come back and visit someday!

Park 'n' Fly program great; shuttle prompt and courteous; staff friendly; breakfast very good. Price right. Ride to airport brief. I liked the way the room door opens to the outdoors. Room was spacious and fully equipped; bed fine. Choice of colors and textures inexpert, I think. Room poorly ventilated; it smelled ill when I first entered -- from decades of use -- and smelled that way all night long: smoke? pets? mere humanity? Was bearable but not neglible. A/C unit under window seemed to remove no moisture from the air; papers left out had wrinkled themselves by morning. But it was the most tropically humid, monsoonish night of the summer, and perhaps no fair test. Room suggested a well-maintained subway car, implying daily cleaning but heavy use.

Everything about our stay was great. I have never experienced such friendliness from every single staff person. They went out of their way to be helpful. The check in was quick. The room and amenities better than I had anticipated. The breakfast started at 6 am so we could eat before catching our flight. It was busy but the staff kept the food well stocked. The driver was friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again.

A great option for staying near Dulles and leaving your car up to 14 days for free. That alone makes it worthwhile. But also the rooms are clean and updated. They open to the outdoors so it's not got indoor hallways so just be prepared. But the free breakfast is good and there is a shuttle to the airport. Will stay again if a morning flight from Dulles.

This Best Western location was a very good value for me because of its accessible location in Northern Virginia. I was disappointed that there was not a swimming pool although use of one wasavailable at a nearby hotel. This was a little inconvenient as it would have taken more time then had to use it.

Stayed here for a night while in town for a business meeting. The front desk clerk accidently gave me a key to an already occupied room, but that was the only issue I had while I stayed there. The room was very clean and the price was cheap. I used the airport shuttle and it was easy to use as well. I would stay here again.

Park sleep and fly. One night stay. This was our third time to use Best Western Dulles Inn for the park sleep and fly. We were not disappointed. This hotel seems to be getting even better. Great staff. Very good breakfast. All appliances worked. Free Wifi. Clean spacious room. Quiet. Reliable shuttle to and from the airport. No doubt we will use Best Western again.

First, my wife is extremely picky when it comes to hotel cleanliness. Our room was so clean you could make computer chips in there. Friendly front desk staff accommodated all our pesky extra requests. Breakfast was also surprisingly far above what was expected. I especially like how there was extra blankets and pillows in the room that had the pullout. If I had to absolutely name a negative it would be that we couldn't stay longer. My new go to choice in the area.

There are many hotels near Dulles Airport. We chose this one because of its location, price and free breakfast. We're glad we did. It turned out to be nicer than we expected, with a very friendly and helpful staff. They also surprised us with a nice gift bag -- very welcome after a 22-hour trip. If we ever have travels via Dulles again, we'd stay here again.

my family needed the hotel as a stopover. we arrived at 2am and there was quite a line of people already there also checking in , apparently a flight was cancelled and they were brought to this hotel. that was their good luck because this hotel is clean, updated and comfortable. Breakfast was impressive. I would definitely come here again and stay longer. also close to air & space museum.

This location is clean and well kept but their staff makes this place special. They were always welcoming and helpful. They made their customers feel like family or old friends. This BW doesn't have elevators so you'll need to carry your luggage up the stairs. Upon arrival a maintenance person saw we were going upstairs and insisted he carry our luggage up the stairs for us.

Check your bathroom door before settling in! My wife went into the bathroom, pushed the door together, and could not get out. Seriously. What would she have done had she been alone? I guess the building had settled enough for the door to stick. When we reported the problem, the front desk said they knew about it. Yet, they sold us the room.... Location for Dulles is great, especially for rental car return (about 6 minutes with no need to get onto the busy freeway or airport entrance road). Helpful, friendly staff and well-managed breakfast that included fresh fruit. Zero problems with highway noise. We saw no restaurant in walking distance. Following front desk's advice, we chose to walk about two blocks to the Holiday Inn restaurant for dinner rather than drive out somewhere. There was a lively bar featuring a "gourmet airport" food. Expensive convenience.

The helpful friendly staff make this an excellent choice for an airport hotel when flying out of Dulles. You can leave your car at the hotel and take a free shuttle to the airport. You also get a good breakfast. Well worth the money spent!

Missed connecting flight. This Best Western had good shuttle service, reasonable rates, professional, helpful staff. Both the person checking us in at 11:00pm and the person checking us out at 5:00am were very helpful. The person checking us in arranged for the shuttle, wake up call, and "bag breakfast". The room was adequate, clean, and most importantly, available.

"your to go place when arriving with jet lag"

this is just a proper hotel close to the airport car rental (less than 10 minutes), where you can hit the bed after a long flight from Europe with jet lag. Food? Cross the road to the "irish pub" for some grub and you'll be good. Clean rooms and friendly service. What else is there to say? Ah yes, decent breakfast, always a plus (so you don't have to look around).

The only complaint we had was shuttle service was not available for the time we needed to get to Dulles airport. We had to pay for an taxi to take us to Dulles for a 5am flight. the plus side we were able to let our vehicle parked at the hotel until we returned 7 days later.

Stayed here for one night. Had help with luggage upstairs from front desk as only stairs and I am disabled. Breakfast next morning was substantial and hearty. The gracious attitude of all the staff was excellent. Convenient location to airport. Late noon check was definitely appreciated from this weary traveller. Five stars!!

Overall experience was a 10! Close to Dulles Airport where we were dropping our daughter off for study abroad. Hotel awesome in every way. The service was awesome and the rooms were immaculate. Breakfast also amazing. The staff was amazing in every way!!

We choose this hotel every time we come to Dulles! There are many in the area but we choose this one here because of the really helpful staff, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome! We had an afternoon flight out of IAD and rather than fight the traffic and worry about parking, we booked a room and took the airport shuttle from the hotel. The room was clean and quiet and we got a great night sleep. The shuttle to the airport worked fine. It isn't anything fancy but it certainly met our needs. There other hotels near the Dulles airport with similar park/sleep/fly packages but we felt that this one offered the best value. This was our second stay there and we would stay there again.

Great staff, clean rooms and great parking. The rooms are modern and comfortable. They do not have interior corridors, yet I felt safe. Decent for a night or two. The guests seem to be business travelers and families staying over for a stop over from nearby Dulles. Better AC than the Hampton Inn, next door. Same owner.

Not bad, nothing fancy. Room was clean, wifi worked ok, breakfast was decent for being included. Breakfast area is small. I liked outside room access for my room. Quiet stay. Restaurant in hotel across the street is the only place to eat withing walking distance. Late lunchtime and I think our waiter was the buss boy. Screwed up simple orders.

This is a great place to stay before and after an international trip. They are the only hotel with a very early shuttle. The staff is helpful and enthusiastic. It is close to the airport. The breakfast is good. The rooms are about what you would expect. The rooms close to the highway are a bit noisy.

This is an excellent hotel for fly/drive service. I especially commend the front desk for their friendly, efficient service and the shuttle service. They asked us the time for our return flight, and the shuttle was waiting for us after claiming our bags. No need to call or wait for the 1/2 hour service cycle. The driver escorted us out of the parking area so we could easily find the toll road. These individuals all deserve recognition for simple excellence, so appreciated for all the aggravation involved in travel these days.

Took 10 minutes to find our room in the rain. The layout of rooms is terrible. Their airport shuttle stops running at 11:45. This should be posted on their website. I wouldn't have chosen them if I had known they only have certain times their shuttle runs. Called front desk associate to let them know we had no hot water for a shower. I was told to let the water run for at least 5 minutes and it should warm up.

"Perfect for what we needed"

We spent the night here prior to an early morning flight out of Dulles. The staff that welcomed us were friendly and helpful -- probably the nicest we have ever encountered. The room was not big or luxurious but it was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. Arrangements for the airport shuttle were easy to make. Since we were going to be away for 6 nights we were given a parking permit to park in the lot across the street. Our 6 AM shuttle left the hotel on time and upon our return we only waited about 10 minutes at the airport for them to pick us up. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

Everyone was so nice and helpful. One of the Better "BW" I've stayed at in a while. If you are flying into or out of the Washington D.C. area, this is a great option is less than two miles from Dulles airport (IAD). Well located property. close to IAD airport. hotel is quite open layout, can park car next to your room. this is a good value for money. some of hotel staff is also very friendly and helpful. my over all exp with best western throughout US is wonderful !!!

"Spring Vacation to Washington D.C."

When planning our family vacation to Washington D.C. my husband decided to book a five night stay at the Best Western Dulles Airport Inn based on the hotels reviews at Tripadvisor. During our stay, we were greeted by the desk staff every day with a greeting and friendly smile. The staff who oversaw the breakfast bar went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure the buffet was stocked with fresh food and making sure the dining area was clean. The housekeeping staff changed the bed linens/towels in our room each day, and gave the room a thorough going over. The manager on duty took the time to greet guests and engage them in conversation each day we were there. Based on our experience, we will definitely consider returning to this hotel in the future.

We stayed here last year for two nights as part of our first visit to the USA after visiting new York. The rooms are basic but clean and adequate but we returned to this hotel again this year for one reason, the staff are so nice and accommodating, we have stayed at hotels costing much more with more stars but the staff here are better. The only thing we could fault at all was the shuttle which let us down last year and this year when we waited well over an hour at airport for a twice hourly shuttle. We recommend getting on the holiday Inn shuttle if you are stuck, the hotel is over the road from Best Western and the driver did not mind at all, just gave her a tip.

Room was normal. Shuttle was great departing. Upon returning waited 45 minutes for a "30 minute" shuttle in the rain. Even called the desk upon landing. The door on the room wouldn't shut completely. Luckily the safety bolt could latch.

I arrived after 23H00 and the staff welcomed me. Helped me with my very heavy bags . They don't have a lift so I needed to be on the ground floor. They changed my room, with no hassle. Free breakfast and wifi, very friendly morning staff. Room was very clean and neat . Will recommend the stay

We have stayed at the BW Dulles several times when flying in and out of Dulles on European travels. We choose it because we are able to park our car for the duration of our travel and stay an overnight on our return. The shuttle service is very reliable and timely, the hotel and rooms are comfortable and clean and the breakfast is with good choices.

We took advantage of their "park and fly" package and it was a good choice. The room was really nice; the breakfast room had just about anything you would want, and the ease of leaving our vehicle and taking the provided shuttle to and from the airport was painless. The shuttle ran about every 15 minutes. Considering the cost of airport parking and what you get for the price of the package, I will definitely stay here again if ever I have to fly out of IAD.

Clean rooms. Lots of amenities: dog walking stations, outdoor grill, picnic tables, lots of outside seating, gym, pool (across the street). Pet friendly. Convenient location. They also serve a decent breakfast, but the seating fills up fast. So everyday I had to bring my plate to my room to eat.

Very clean, well kept property. All outside corridor rooms. We weren't expecting much but we just needed an inexpensive room for the night. We got so much more! The customer service here is beyond remarkable! Every single staff member greets you and genuinely wants to know how your stay is. We travel a great deal and have been to many luxury hotels but have never seen this kind of customer service! All businesses should aspire to reach this level!

As a Best Western rewards member I was greeted with a goodie bag of snacks and bottled water. But even beyond that the reception was exemplary. The staff was highly professional and welcoming, and the man checking me in even called my room afterward to make sure all was in order. The place was clean (I even used the tub) and amazingly quiet for a motel-style layout. Comfortable king bed and spacious enough. Decent breakfast starting at 6, just in time for an early flight. Only complaint is the AC was turned up high on arrival and there wasn't extra bedding in the room so I got a bit cold, but I'm sure they would have accommodated if I'd asked.

Prices are low for a place to stay close to Dulles. The beds are crazy comfortable and make resting before your flight easy. This is a great deal for travelers on a budget. There is also pizza delivery from a place nearby which is also a huge plus for late night travelers.

Clean hotel, $5 a day for parking + access to the airport shuttle which can't be beat! We got great service while we were there and had a very comfortable stay the night before our flight. Only slept there about 8 hours so can't comment on other amenities, but we were very pleased!

As a Best Western it is typically appointed, microwave and fridge in room, clean and pleasant. The really great thing about this hotel is the cheerful, helpful and happy hosts. Truly good and helpful people. Morning breakfast was better than most and didn't taste old or cold as can so many. Great place for the value if you have need of accommodations near Dulles. Thanks to Sarah who made extra effort at customer service. A refreshing place to stay!

I have stayed in BW in Sterling 2 times 1 week each, while attending a course and hope to be there in June. It is such a lovely place quiet, good breakfast nice people . When i was in class the reception received Items i bought on line on my behalf and kept them for me.The shuttle to the shopping center arranged and 30 mins shuttle to the Airport very convenient even to connect to the Metro bus to L'enfant Plaza. Lovely place indeed.

Good hotel well located. Excellent service from the reception. The only problem is that the shuttle service does not care for their clients. We had to wait more than two hours at the airport to take the shuttle. We were told that it was on its way and it took him two hours to arrive.

As we were flying out of Dulles Airport, and had a hire car to drop off, we chose this hotel to stay for a couple of nights before returning to Australia. We were very happy with everything about this hotel - very pleasant and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, breakfast included, and the hotel has a free shuttle to the airport every half hour. Initially we thought that we had made a mistake staying as we wanted to do some sightseeing in Washington DC prior to returning home and there seemed to be a lack of public transport (and cabs are approx. $80 each way for the trip). The problem was solved by the staff.....take their free shuttle to the airport and catch the Metro Bus to L'Enfant Plaza - cost of the Metro Bus is $7.00 (or $3.50 concession/senior) so if you are considering staying here, but are concerned about getting into DC, don't be.

The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel location was close to the highway and easy to navigate. The pool and restaurant across the street were close and convenient.

The hotel is conveniently located close to IAD, which is convenient if you need to rest after a long flight, though it was a bit noisy due to the proximity to the road/freeway. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. Recommendation: Upgrade the room decor.

We stayed in a suite with our two kids . Large room super small bathroom. Very clean room. The only complaints is the pull out bed was ridiculously hard and could not use it that caused a problem since there was 4 of us. You can. It get a coffee until 7. The staff is very friendly.

We picked this hotel for its convenient location to Dulles airport, its free parking, and its breakfast. When we checked-in the room arrangment we had requested was not available, but rather than offer any solution the staff member simply completed the transaction probably knowing that I wouldn't go elsewhere as the room was pre-paid; it was then left up to us to work out the sleeping arrangements. This is a motel with rooms opening onto the car park, but the area was quiet enough. Room was clean and tidy. Breakfast had a reasonable range of things to choose from.

I really like the hotel. It was my first time in a Best Western Hotel but I don't have anything bad to say. There were very kind and friendly. The room was very cleaned with a lot of things to make my stay better. As I have to take a plane early in Dulles Airport I took the shuttle for free the hotel offers. So It was great! If you need to stay in Sterling- Virginia, DC area or go to Dulles this is the right place!

This is a nice hotel. Great breakfast. Front desk staff were very nice to me. My main problem was with the free shuttle service failed to pick me up! I called the hotel 3 times and they said their guy would be there in 15 minutes! He never showed up! Eventually a driver from the Hampton Inn who had seen me sitting there for over an hour on his multiple times around gave me a ride! This is why the desk staff were so nice to me! They gave me an upgraded room (couch - I was traveling alone) and a pop and candy!

We stayed at this hotel because if you book through parkflysleep the parking is included. We were gone 12 days so this seemed like a great idea. The room was worn but very clean and fine for one night. When we headed to the airport we were picked up by a Springhill Suites shuttle even though the Best Western Shuttle was sitting in front of the hotel. In the Best Western book in the room it states that shuttle pickup is on the lower level between curb 2A-H. On return we went to the curb at A and called the hotel who said to go to H and wait for a Springhill Suites shuttle. I was never told it could be a Holiday Inn Shuttle. We saw a Springhill Suites shuttle and they said they couldn't take us. After a 40 minute wait we took a $15 cab ride back to the hotel, as we were pulling in a Holiday Inn shuttle dropped off passengers. Maybe if we hadn't been traveling for 20 hours I wouldn't have minded this inconvenience but the whole point of staying here was the parking and shuttle service. If staying here for the shuttle service to the airport I would recommend staying somewhere else. I believe Aloft also offers this service.

The on site long term parking package is reasonable and the lot is safe. The hotel staff is extremely helpful. The free breakfast was extensive, fresh and well laid out. The vents for the hvac in the room were directed over the bed and caused a draft when the unit was operating.

This hotel provided great value for our stays. I have been sending my business delegations to this hotel. The GM (Dave) and Deputy GM (Bushra) have been amazing with customer services, they would bend backwards to make sure we were taken care of. The rooms were clean and neat, breakfast was good. The best thing was definitely the staff here, they always made me and my delegations feel very warm and welcome, every time! Thank you, Dave/Bushra, we'll definitely be back again!

I was needing a place for just the night before a business conference. I arrived very late and they were very welcoming to me. I was worried about overhead planes and noise level. Once in the room, nothing was heard from the skies. The bed was clean, the air conditioning unit was very quiet and efficient, was really nice. I have heard so many that are noisy and not worth having. The room was clean and neat and efficiently appointed. The breakfast was in a small area but they had an amazing choice considering the space it was in. Was very surprised and would stay again. The value is unbeatable. And free WiFi was a nice addition

We checked in here because we had an early morning flight out the next morning. We were able to drop our car off the night before and we caught the shuttle back to the hotel which was very convenient for us. The room was clean and the beds were excellent . A great stay

"Tired Hotel"

We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past two years even though it is a tired motel with few upgrades. We stayed because a one night stay meant up to ten nights of free parking and a short shuttle ride to the airport, a bargain. We discovered on this visit that with a one night stay we would still have to pay $5 a day for parking. The bed was sagging, the room was clean but old looking. We have always had to leave before the buffet opened so I can't rate that. Our brief encounters with the hotel staff has found them to be very accommodating. In the past the shuttle service taking and picking up was very reliable. This time the shuttle driver didn't show up and some people who had been there ten minutes before the 4 a.m. pickup finally got a cab at 4:30. It is my understanding the hotel did pay for this. We intended to leave at 4:30 and the desk agent called another hotel to come pick us up at 4:40 a.m.. The staff handled the situation as best they could and things happen so this could be forgiven. But, upon our return we called around 10 to 15 min. before the hour and was told to take the Best Western, Holiday Inn, or Springhill Suites shuttle. At 10 after a Springhill shuttle showed up but the driver wouldn't take us. We called again at 20 after for pickup. Finally at 25 after the hour a Holiday Inn shuttle showed up. We never did see a Best Western shuttle except one parked at the side of the hotel. This service is not worth $110 plus for a nights stay, especially since there are other hotels in the area that still offer free parking with a nights stay, shuttle service, and breakfast.

The hotel is in a good location and by the name, close to the airport. I found the staff to be very accommodating and friendly. They all displayed appreciation to guests and happy to be at the place they are working. They provided a very nice buffet breakfast and a broad chioce to satisfy most. Starting with the General Manager, Bushra Chaudhry, we experienced helpful, friendly staff who made our stay welcoming and comfortable. The room offered connections to wifi by simply plugging in a laptop at the usb port at the desk. The shower in the bathroom was very safe for me with a grab bar and non skid floor (I have MS). We were given an amenities package when we discovered we needed toothpaste. We enjoyed a free breakfast in the morning. All of these may seem standard but were greatly enhanced by the genuine friendliness of the staff.

This hotel is probably the closest hotel to Dulles Airport. We utilized the park and stay option and were able to leave our car in a very safe area of the hotel parking lot for 10 days. The total cost for the airport and parking was $170. Parking at Dulles would have been $100 so essentially go the hotel for $70. My only complaint was that the air conditioning unit was ridiculously loud and impacted our ability to sleep peacefully. If it hadn't been so late, I would have asked for another room.

The water faucet is broken so that we can't take shower at the first time, which made us very disappointed and upset. We like the breakfast. The environment and servise is good in all. Front desk staff and shuttle drivers were knowledgeable and gave accurate information for us to travel by Metro and make our way to and fro Washington DC without incidence.

I booked this hotel because I could leave my car while traveling while paying a room rate that was reasonable. It's clean, staff are friendly/helpful, and it has an airport shuttle. The room was spacious enough...mine had a small love seat and table in addition to king sized bed. The bed was plenty comfortable too. It had sufficient and well placed outlets, a good flat panel tv, a full length mirror, and good lighting. When I discovered my remote didn't work, someone was right up with a replacement. Things that you might also want to be aware of: there's no elevator and there's no restaurant on site...if you don't want to drive somewhere staff will send you to the restaurant across the way in the Holiday Inn. OK in good weather, but wouldn't want to have to do in rain or cold. As for the room itself, the AC is very noisy. If there was an option to give 1/2 stars, I'd rate this 3 1/2, but since there's not, it gets 3.

The hotel room, staff, fitness center and breakfast were wonderful. The room was clean and taken care of well. There were only few areas, which we feel needed improvement and they are: 1. The remote in the room did not have a guide. The printed guide, given to us by the front desk, did not match the channels in the room, i.e. Channel 49 was not FoxNews but was the Weather Channel. I could not find FoxNews in the fitness center or our room. The remote did not have a "Guide" button and was very frustrating having to channel up or down to find news. Switching from Analog to Digital was confusing and frustrating. 2. Need more wall hooks. 3. Need more outlets. Even a multi-use wall socket will be helpful.

more like a Motel than a Hotel. The room was gross. i saw bugs in the shower and in the bedroom wall. the adhered tub mat was coming up and it was disgusting underneath. i chose not the bathe the 2 days i was there, felt cleaner.

The BW at Sterling is my go-to place to sleep and get a good breakfast after flying into Dulles and before the 2 1/2 hour drive home. It is easy. It is inexpensive. It has a darn good breakfast included in your stay - which I love!

You know it is going to be a good stay at a hotel when you are greeted with exceptional customer service. The check in process was great, actually the manager on duty was training someone and she was very professional and the young gentleman (in training) was very respectful. The room was nice and the location was good. You would think being near an airport it would be noisy but it was not. We were there on business and not able to enjoy this feature but were very impressed that they have tables and chairs outside if you wanted to spend time outside (a nice touch). The breakfast area was very clean and the selection for breakfast was delicious. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Staff did a great job responding to our concerns. On one occassion the breakfast eggs contained meat which my party and I couldn't have. Clare responded by making meat free eggs for us very quickly. She even talked to me about our plans for DC and gave me some very helpful info. Habib at the front desk did a great job quickly responding to the A/C not working and had us moved to a better room right away. Location is great - 2 mins from the airport yet you can't really hear planes going by. Air and Space museum is close by as well as other fun activities.

I stayed for one night when needing to pick up people from the airport the next morning. I chose this hotel because of the airport shuttle and the lower price compared to the hotel I stayed at the last time I was in the area. I checked in around 5:30 pm. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy and I was given a second floor room on the back side of the property. I drove around to the back of the building and there was a construction crew on site that had half of the parking lot on that side blocked off. I ended up parking on the other side of the building and walking a pretty good distance to the room. The hotel's room entrances are exterior and there is no elevator. The construction crew was very loud and when 6:30 came around I was starting to wonder how late they were going to work. They finally stopped for the night around that time. The room itself was comfortable. It was clean, had a sofa and also a microwave and refrigerator. These were all nice to have since I checked in fairly early and was spending my evening in the room. There are no restaurants in the immediate area, other than one inside of a neighboring hotel. The mall is just a short drive away and has plenty of restaurants. The airport shuttle going to the airport was great. It runs every half hour. The driver was friendly, but was aggressive with his horn while we were stopped at a red light. I have no idea what the person in front of us was apparently doing wrong. When we got to the airport, I asked him what I needed to do for pick up and if I needed to call the hotel. He said it comes by every 30 minutes and no need to call, just wait at the assigned curb. We got to the curb a little before noon. No shuttle came at noon, I thought maybe it had come a few minutes early and we missed that one. No big deal. 12:30 rolls around and still no shuttle. I called at 12:40 and was told it would be there at 12:45, because it comes every half hour. 12:45 comes and goes with no shuttle. I call a little after 1:00 and she said it would be there at 1:15, it comes every half hour. I told her I had called just a little bit ago and was told 12:45 and nobody had been there. At this point we had been sitting in the sun on the curb in 95 degree weather for an hour and 15 minutes with kids that just got off of a 13 hour flight. I told her I had been here for well over an hour and not once has the shuttle come. She stated she would said someone over right away. The shuttle finally came at a little after 1:15. This was a different driver than on the way to the airport. He was very friendly, and I did notice he was wearing a maintenance ID badge. Maybe something happened with the other driver. With the exception of the shuttle pick-up, it was a nice stay. I was very frustrated with the shuttle, though. If I were to go again, I'd spend the extra $30 and go with the hotel I stayed at the first time I was there.

this is a good hotel to stay in if you are looking for a shuttle ride to Dulles airport, I liked that you sign up for the shuttle time, so you don't have to worry about not getting on the shuttle at the time that you need it. The room is large and clean. The staff friendly, Complimentary breakfast is included, and included a variety of cold and hot items. Overall, a good park and fly hotel for Washington Dulles.

Enjoyed stay at this hotel and would definitely come back. 2 double bed room was comfortable with plenty of space. Features: refrigerator and microwave in cupboards under bathroom sink, 2 chair table, dresser with TV, armoire to hang clothes with ironing board and iron, shampoo/conditioner and body wash dispensers in shower. Rooms are accessible from outside. Coffee and ice water are available in lobby 24/7. Breakfast included waffles, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, fruit cup, apples and oranges, muffins, toast, juice and coffee. Very friendly staff. Airport shuttle runs every half hour starting at 4am - courteous drivers. Reserve shuttle when checking-in.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and very comprehensive (breakfast burritos, waffles with fruit and nutella topping, fried potatoes, cereal, fruit, greek yogurt, oatmeal and more). The employees were all friendly and welcoming. We couldn't have asked for anything more during our stay. Will definitely stay at more Best Westerns in the future.

I stayed for one night before a 5:45 flight out of Dulles. The room was great and staff super friendly. The shuttle started at 4am and got me to Dulles by 4:20. There's a bar that does food round the corner, but apart from that if you don't have a car you'll need to get taxis/ their shuttle. It was perfect for what I needed.

Stayed for 2 nights. Excellent service from wonderful staff. Nice breakfast and the rooms were clean and in deilcate. Comfortable beds. Would recommend it to everyone and I would definately stay there again. We used the free shuttle bus to and from airport, and we connected with the Silver Line bus that took us to the Metro and downtown.

A big kudos to the staff; they really went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. A free shuttle to/from Dulles Airport was available which we took to also get to Washington DC (via the Metro 5A). A small disappointment that there isn't any variety of restaurants or fast food places within walking distance. However, a free shuttle to the city mall is provided and we took advantage of this to go out to dinner. The room was nice, clean, and offered all of the conveniences I expect from BW. The free breakfast had the standard items, plus some. Easy to serve yourself. Hot coffee, hot water, and iced water is provided inside the lobby 24/7. I really enjoyed this convenience.

On the outside - this Best Western looks like a great hotel. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were typical Best Western. This Best Western has room entry from the outside. We chose this hotel because we were traveling with our dog. Our sleep was short lived when 6 people in a room above decided to have a drug and sex party out in the stairwell from 2 - 4:30am. Management did nothing and there were other guests yelling out their windows for them to stop. The rooms were average, not super clean but it does accommodate dogs. If you want sleep - find another hotel.

What can I say about this hotel?! We stayed 4 nights to visit Washington DC and even though its about 35 min from all the tourist sites, the hotel was GREAT! The breakfast was great, the coffee was great, the hotel staff was helpful, kind and ackowledged each guest. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and overall this is a quiet and very good place to stay. We washed clothes ($1.75) and dried them ($1.75) ...did I mention this place was great?! Will absolutely come back and stay here again with my family!

The check-in ladies could not have been nicer. Seriously, they were so nice. A pilot walked by and they called him by name, that was rather impressive. The room was clean and updated (and roomy, king size only), A/C worked great. The mattress wasn't lumpy, didn't have the million people have slept in this bed "depression." My only complaint (and I am a bath tub gal) was that the tub had some kind of non-slip something on it and I couldn't slide down into the tub. But would definitely stay again. Missed breakfast due to early departure to airport, but was offered food that had been put out earlier.

The quality of this hotel was above and beyond. Modern rooms and great breakfast selection. Was a quality stay in comparison to all other hotels in the area. We were travelling through with our motorcycles and they were very biker friendly. Great hotel. Ordered food service through a local restaurant and it was excellent for your needs. Was able to bill the hotel directly. Excellent accommodation.

Had to book on short notice and the rate was great compared to other motels in the Herndon/Dulles area ($81 AAA rate vs. $120+++). The 2 young ladies who checked us in were very friendly and helpful and remembered talking to me on the phone, which is a rarity these days ! I don't know what the motel was like before it was remodeled, but the room was clean, up-to-date and had plenty of room for spreading out our stuff. It also didn't smell like the musty/ mildew/Lysol combo we had to experience the previous night at a Sleep Inn in Fredericksburg. Breakfast was pretty good, the serving and seating areas were just too crowded. Overall a good experience and would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

With an early flight we stopped overnight at the Dulles Airport BW and it worked well. We arrived mid morning, hoping we could drop off our luggage (rather than taking it around in our car all day) and they were very accommodating, allowing us to check in to our room. Our ground floor room (didn't see a lift) was a little dated but fine, and had the right facilities. The walls were a little thin but earplugs took care of slightly raucous neighbours. We had dinner at O' Malleys pub, at the Holiday Inn, a short walk away. This had a good selection and was a decent meal. Breakfast started at 6am, which allowed us a quick bite before leaving and the shuttle to the airport ran every half an hour. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel was very nice, it was clean and had an above average continental breakfast. We were able to add park and fly for just 5 bucks a day, also took advantage of the free airport shuttle. My only advise would be to be out of this area before rush hour.... What a nightmare, but had nothing to do with the hotel, just bad planning on my part.

Our room was on the second floor, and there is no elevator; not a problem for us, but somebody with mobility challenges should know to ask for a room on the first floor. Had to keep my shoes on until bed time to avoid getting my feet and/or sock BLACK! The manager said the maids were using new equipment, but if it wasn't the equipment, then the rug is fading on socks and feet. The lighting was terrible. We could not see to read the newspaper unless we opened the curtains.

Very accommodating and friendly staff. They let me check in early which was a bonus! The shuttle was on time. The bed was very comfortable. The only slight drawback is that there are no elevators. Nevertheless, the staff helped me carry by bags up the stairs which was nice. If you have time, make use of the bus service and check out the Dulles town center.

We booked this hotel to tour DC as we were arriving late at Dulles airport and it is very close to the airport and has a free shuttle to and from the airport every half an hour. The room was large enough with fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. The breakfast was excellent with hot eggs, bacon and even a waffle maker. Plenty of choice in cereals, breads and pastries. To tour DC, we simply took the shuttle back to the airport and caught the Metrobus 5A which took us directly to L'Enfant Plaza. Very well located to see the sights. Tickets cost 7$ each way. The hotel can give you the timetable on request. DC itself was wonderful! Just what I expected and more! Wear super comfy walking shoes and enjoy all the sights! Stayed here Easter weekend for 6 nights. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels and I have to say this place had the nicest staff! Everyone from the charter van driver to the manager was so sweet. I was greeted in the lobby every morning on my way to breakfast. Breakfast was great everyday. Rooms were very clean. Minus one star because the room was a bit small. Although they don't have a pool, you are allowed to use the pool in the Holiday Inn across the street. Just show them your room key. :-)

Chose the hotel for the price and location due to an early morning flight from IAD. Access by car very easy and close to long term parking, maybe a 5 minute drive on weekend morning. Old style set up: 2 floors, park in front of room, and door access to parking lot- getting forgotten stuff from the car not an issue. Staff was friendly. Room on the dated side but clean. Good selection of TV channels to occupy time, wifi easy to access. No usb ports to directly charge electronics in room, but there are some ports in main lobby. Walls/floors thin as we could hear upstairs giggling and having fun but she may have been on the loud side as we didn't hear anyone else. Occasional overhead plane but to be expected given location. Small area for breakfast in morning, usual items: waffle maker, egg and bacon, cereal, fruit and pastries. As mentioned prior there is a selection of frozen meals and food for sale at desk but not far down road (within easy drive 5 min) is a Taco Bell and similar. Small table with 2 chairs in room made eating food brought back easy. AC unit was challenging as I couldn't find a sweet spot for the right amount of coolness but responded quickly each time I adjusted it. Overall: the hotel provided what I needed and that's important. For short term stays and accessing IAD, it was well up to the task.

We were very satisfied with our one night stay. The employees obviously enjoy working here and attended to all our needs. The breakfast was good and we were allowed to stay over a couple of hours without charge. Good beds, not too noisy. I would definitely stay here again in the future. We stayed at this Best Western for an overnight stay because we had a family function to attend. Best Western Dulles was close to the event and the rate (including breakfast) was quite reasonable. The front desk staff was also very friendly and accommodating. My only complaint was the mattress. It felt lumpy and was quite uncomfortable.

Very good hotel and staff. The hotel/property is pet friendly. (We stayed with a senior cocker spaniel.) Will stay here again when in the area visiting family. Breakfast room was small and crowded at the time we visited for a morning meal.

This is a nice hotel. Very clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were great. The breakfast offered lots of choices and well stocked. Our only issue was the shuttle from the airport. We waited over 45 minutes and though when we called they informed us of the wait time, it should have been only 30 minutes at the most according to their own information in the room. Not sure if they just were not running the shuttles was advertised or what but that definitely ruined what would have been 5 stars.

Reasonable rate, allowed us a late check out of 2 pm - stayed here after returning from four weeks overseas. On our way to the West Coast, it allowed us a chance to normalize our sleep cycle before hitting the west coast. Breakfast was fine, coffee was strong and the bed was comfortable. Great place for families, too. I would stay here again. Room was very clean and comfortable. Wifi is very fast. They sell beer and some wine at the front desk, which was greeat for us arriving at 9 pm after a long day of travel, and not wanting to visit the nearby pub.

I just returned from an international flight and waited longer for the shuttle, than my bag. Also, there was a strong odor in the room, when I entered, but it was soon resolved. this hotel is a quite simple but good equipped property located not far from IAD Airport. I like the fact, that it is like a Motel and you can park your car directly in front of your room. They do offer a free shuttle service, business room and a small gym. Rooms are equiped with a microwave and coffee maker. My wife and I recently flew to the Dominican Republic from Dulles International, had an early departure. A quick internet search led us to the Best Western Hotel in Sterling, VA, just a few miles from the airport. The Park & Fly rate was a real bargain, as we got a good night's sleep, took the early shuttle to the airport, and left our car in the hotel's long-term parking lot for 7 nights. The room rate was cheaper than taking a taxi to/from the airport and our home inside the Beltway. Upon our return, a quick call to the hotel resulted in the shuttle arriving to pick us up within minutes. We will probably be doing the same in future on our next travel out of Dulles.

I was greatly impressed by the outstanding customer service we received from all staff, from the person making the reservation to the shuttle drivers to those checking in and out. The Hotel was clean and well kept. although we left before the breakfast was put out, they provided coffee, juices and a great selection of pastries, bagels, etc.

We have stayed at the BW Dulles several times in the past years through Park/Sleep/Travel due to need of leaving our car for departing Dulles Airport on international trips. This stay was much improved as more attention seemed to be given by staff. The breakfast is very generous and the staff was very diligent in keeping items replenished and cleaning tables after guests. The room was comfortable and had all amenities including in room coffee service, microwave, fridge and excellent WiFi. The exterior was improved in upkeep maintenance. Generally, we found the BW Dulles to be improved in appearance and staff attention from our last visit and very pleased with our stay. Our only complaint was in having to wait 45 minutes for a shuttle pick up at the airport.

My husband and I stayed at your hotel for the first time, and felt our stay was terrific! We thought the hotel staff was friendly, and especially helpful when we asked for some recommendations (restaurant, attractions etc). Our room was clean, and neat which we appreciated. Unfortunately, this is not always the case when staying in a new hotel. We also thought your hotel was priced reasonably, and conveniently located. We will be sure to stay there again when we come back to town.

This Best Western property is adjacent to the Holiday Inn, where I had a conference but where no rooms were available, so stayed here instead. What a pleasant surprise from many other Best Weterns. What impressed me first were the grounds. Clean and immaculate with beautiful flower gardens- and I'm a guy who usually doesn't notice that stuff. Yes, the architecture is vintage 1970s or so, but credit to management for its modern and esthetically pleasing updates. Staff was extremely polite and responsive. Room was a tad small, but mattress was new and firm, and everything spotless and working except the TV remote. Breakfast selection very good. Shuttle serve to and from Dulles punctual. In short, the way a hotel should work at a bargain price. Great value.

Word to the wise: NEVER EVER stay at the Best Western Dulles unless you happen to like motel style with outside doors that don't close and let the environment in, leaky showers, creaking, soft tilted beds, barely room to move around aor put your belongings, and housekeeping who leave your door ajar all day while you are out, allowing your belongings to get stolen.

Overall experience was nice. Omer was very helpful at check-in. Check out was quick and easy as well. We didn't get a chance to enjoy breakfast as we were in a hurry, but it looked well presented and like a typical Best Western breakfast. I would have liked to use their gym, but the schedule didn't allow for it. The faucet in room 224's shower didn't fully turn off so there was a constant dripping. It didn't detract from the stay, but it would have been nice if the faucet turned the whole way off. My biggest disappointment was the exterior corridors. I really don't like that and because of them, I probably won't stay here again. However, I do like Best Westerns and everything else about this hotel was fine.

The room was very efficient for a family of five. The room had a small fridge, good enough for the storage of milk and some other drinks and snacks. It also had a microwave, a nice closet and a nice dresser which were used to put our personal items. The environment of the hotel was very peaceful and it had not noises such as traffic and or people screaming like other places. My family loved the stay, it was our first trip to Washington DC and if we ever visit again, we would rent the same facility no questions asked. I am a college student and used the Wi-Fi free services for to keep up with my homework while on vacation.

1) great, friendly, courteous and EFFICIENT staff - they fixed a non-draining shower superfast, AND the shower pressure was amazing. 2) breakfast was out of this world. Really good, cooked well and plenty of staff around to help find anything you need. It's also served until 10am, longer than most other hotels 3) great location - airport close by and plenty of shopping and restaurants 4) nice fitness center but I couldn't use it because of lack of time

My wife and I stayed with Best Western in Sterling, VA , prior to an international flight. We stayed primarily because they offered a park and fly optio n. We were very pleased with the overall stay. The room was adequate and the bed a bit less comfortable than we might have liked but we really just needed a place to rest prior to a long flight. The staff was excellent and were most courteous and polite. The breakfast meal was very nicely done and of good quality with excellent coffee! When we walk in the door we were greeted with a friendly hello, this continued with all the staff . The beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The only problem we had is with the heating unit. When the heating unit comes on it makes a lot of noise.

Can't say enough good about this hotel! Service was wonderful! Location was perfect as we were headed out very early in the morning to catch a 7am flight from DCA to SXM! We didn't think we would beable to catch their breakfast as they don't open til 6am, however we were invited to help ourselves to the breakfast as it was completely ready! Even though the breakfast had a closed sign! Great options for the breakfast and a morning paper just added to the excitement! Shuttle was there to pick us up at exact time as they are on the hour and half hour! Very pleasant people and would highly recommend! Our vehicle stayed for free the entire 12 days of travel and that was our goal in looking for a hotel! ...they just exceeded our expectations by far!

Hotel room was nicely furnished. Everything was clean. Rooms opened to the outside and sometimes you could hear passersby but overall was pretty quiet. Found the toilet had a pinhole leak in the tank. Reported it in the morning and it was fixed when I got back that afternoon. Breakfast is more than adequate to get your day started. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for a flight from Dulles the next day. Turns out that this is a 50s style motel where all the door open to the outside. It was snowy and icy and we had to be quite careful walking to the lobby. The bathroom was quite cramped, too. Breakfast was fine and their shuttle service was good. There was confusion over the price of extended parking, with the manage quoting the old (lower) rate. To their credit, they honored the old price. The new price is not nearly as attractive.

We stayed at BW Dulles to catch a early flight. The hotel is clean with good breakfast. When arriving at the airport, you don't need to worry to call the hotel as they have a shuttle that runs every 1/2 hr ( airport pick up at 1/4 after and before the hr) Just look for the shuttle stop. Check in and out were easy and fast. I recommend this hotel if you need to stay overnight due to connection flight.

We spent last night at this Best Western. We arrived early and were given a room. I know that is not always possible, but it was certainly nice after having driven 6 hours. The staff is very friendly, they strive to meet any need you have. We had business at Dulles airport and the shuttle from the inn was so convenient and easy to use. The room was quiet, clean, good shower...great value for your money. The breakfast was excellent..hot and cold items. Coffee and tea are available 24 hours. We will definitely stay at this Best Western when in DC.

Pros: Staff was all very friendly and courteous. Breakfast was +1 over most free offerings in having protein and eggs. Room was clean and tidy. Cons: Room decor is a bit dated. Bathroom needs some attention. Grout is stained and dirty, lots of excess caulking to cover some of this just makes it look sloppier. I found what looked like a spot of blood on the back of the bathroom door.

I stayed here for one night ahead of flying out of the US. Very close to Dulles Airport the standout thing about this hotel is the people. The staff were excellent - friendly, interested in you, keen to please etc. The hotel itself is OK, but a bit tired. The rooms, whilst comfortable are smallish and dpseemed quite dark to me. The bed was clean and comfortable but the room I was in clearly had been used by a smoker. This is notwithstanding that the room was tagged as a non-smoking room. The rooms are 'outside' in that he doors open out over the car park. The two level complex is stairs only, so if you have a heavy bag you'll need to lug it up the stairs. The breakfast which is included is quite good and checkout was quick and easy. Again, for one night before a flight, it's fine. The price is very reasonable and there is O'Malleys pub over the road - you can read my review on this site. Enjoy.......

The pick up for the airport was great. But, when we got there it was cold. To get to the rooms you need to walk outside and there is no elevator. We were able to get the first floor. The Holiday Inn next door is newer with a restaurant and it does not cost that much more. In fact the only place for dinner that was nearby was this restaurant which meant that we had to walk across 2 parking lots in the cold. The breakfast was very good.

This would not qualify as a 3 star hotel. Rooms and common spaces are small. One must walk to the second floor - no elevator. The ground floor rooms can be noisy with passing people on the outside. But the staff was very good. Professional and friendly.

We are repeat customers because of the value and location. BWI Dulles is very close to Dulles and we left our car for economical long range parking. We will spend the night upon our return prior to returning home. The staff is very helpful and accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

The on site staff was very professional and overall it meet most of my needs. The concerns/cautions that I have included: They have a listed rate to suck you in, but then charged me $139 for the first night and $89 for the next night at the return of my trip. Free parking I guess was not so free. All the people were great and the property was nice and clean. The shuttle to the airport was right on time. However, the return shuttle never showed up. The first call to them I asked when the shuttle would be scheduled to arrive. I was told when that should happen, but it might not because of weather conditions. This was two days after the recent snowstorm and all roads were wet, but clear. Traffic was minimal. My second call placed 25 minutes later again asked for arrival time. My wife was sitting in a wheelchair in the 40 degree temp. I was concerned. I was told they would call the driver and then let me know. They never called back. My third call after 45 minutes I asked if I should assume he was not coming and take a taxi. They had no answer, however he showed up within a few minutes after that. I was not a happy camper- after having just gotten off a 12 hour flight. The property is worth staying at if you can get a fair price and do not expect to use the shuttle service.

I must always take into affect any safety issues not only for my guest but the team members during dangerous snow conditions. the main roads were clear but the side roads were still at times very unmanageable. We did not purposely avoid on time service or avoid calling you back, but were doing our best to provide the service of the shuttle. the rate seems to be a package, where you pay the higher price for the room which then includes 10 days of free parking. We do not advertise free parking and do charge per night or have room and parking packages as stated above. We flew to Washington Dulles Airport since it was a direct flight from Miami and planned to stay one night and continue our trip to Quantico next morning by car. Our flight was delayed and arrived past midnight, we were greeted by a nice gentleman who showed sincere interest to accommodate us right away and offer to help if anything was needed, we were in our room in less than 10 minutes. Nice and clean room, excellent location, good breakfast and courteous and professional staff.

While on a return trip to West Africa from San Diego, my trip was altered by the blizzard of 16 on the east coast. My phone died at the airport but it was easy to contact the hotel with the airport phones and have the shuttle pick me up (in 3+ feet of snow). Even though I was tired from a long day, the staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. The van driver helped me carry my bags to my room and even put in a repair request for a burned out light by the door. (The light was fixed within minutes.) The room was comfortable and the breakfast was wonderful. The shuttle took me cheerfully and promptly to meet my overseas flight the next day. Great job - well done!

Breakfast and unlimited wi-fi were a definite bonus, as well as easy access to O'Malley's Pub in the neighbouring Holiday Inn. Superb value for money!

If you need to stay 1-2 days while await your flight, BW is good choice. Shuttle bus is every 10-15 min. Way takes couple minutes. Good breakfast, fast internet, and restaurant by phone. Also, snacks are at foyer.

Stayed here for 5 nights but moved out after 4 to a Hyatt near sterling which was much nicer and the same price. Room was very basic and tired and the whole place looked like a refurbishment would not go amiss. Every day when I returned my keycard failed to work so had to get it recoded at the reception ( no I didn't have it with other cards) - I was told it was the cold weather ( room doors are outside). Overall I wouldn't stay here as there are other hotels in the vicinity that are priced similarly but are of a higher quality. One thing I would add is the customer service - the staff are excellent and really deserve a nicer hotel to ply their trade - couldn't fault any of them.

This property is very nice, very comfortable beds, very nice breakfast, very nice staff! But it feels more like a motor inn motel. It doesn't have an elevator, but there are only 2 floors. But when one is in their 60's and tired, it is difficult to take one's luggage up the stairs in the cold :)

I travel a great deal and spend a lot of nights in hotels and any time I do, I always check the prices on Best Westerns first. Of all of the hotel chains I've stayed with, Best Western has always been and remains to be, my favorite. The staff are always friendly, the rooms are generally spotless, the in-room amenities are exactly what I need (fridge with a freezer, good wifi, nice water pressure, coffee, etc), and the breakfasts just seals the deal. (*I travel with my toddler and being able to have a breakfast first thing in the morning that ISN'T just cereal and donuts is actually really important to me.) As silly as it may seem to say, this particular Best Western goes above and beyond for breakfast! Omelets, potato's, bacon, French toast, pancakes, etc...I mean it's just wonderful when you have a hungry toddler who needs breakfast first thing in the morning (and while I don't usually eat breakfast, I do when I stay here!). Most of the time I'd opt to give her a snack and try to find a place to eat, but I don't have to do that here! It's right down the hall, it free and it's good! Otherwise, the staff at this hotel (and most other best western's) are always SO friendly and helpful. Again, I've stayed at a LOT of hotel's (including some of the swankiest hotels on the U.S. for business) and these people take the cake as far as friendliness is concerned. I definitely recommend this hotel for your visit! I know I'll be back, the next time I'm in town!

Didn't have our reservation . courteous, charged our cc until they tracked down mistake. Looked clean. Woke up during the night itching. Had a quick stay over. Some up the next morning with bed bug bites. Found fheminons bed and on the vanity. Took them Down to front desk. We had to leave to ournext destination . I have spent hours, Time and money trying to eradicate them from us. My daughter is covered in bites, three weeks later. They waived our charges and never called to apo!ogjze.

Very good option for a short layover at Dulles airport. The hotel offers a free shuttle to/from the airport. As I arrived after midnight - I had to take the Uber. Only 7 minutes ride (less than 11$). Facilities are very good, clean rooms, very good wifi. And to top it off - very friendly staffs. It's fairly close to the Udvar-Hazy center (Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum's annex) - which was very handy for me. Just one piece of advice, breakfast items seem to run out around 9:45 AM. So make sure you get there early.

I missed my connection and everything was going wrong after a long 20hr journey from Germany. The team was excellent. When Sobia found out I did not have my luggage, she provided me with toiletries (even deodorant) delivered to my room and everything I needed to spend a comfortable night. They also provided me a way to order dinner from a local restaurant. My night was restful, room was warm while there were frigid temps outside. After their complimentary breakfast in the morning, I was recharged and ready to tackle the uncertainties of finding my way to my original destination. Omer was also pleasant and assisted me in getting a rental car reservation. All in all the team was phenomenal and helped this Soldier stranded in DC. I must also say, in coordination with USO my room was not charged to me. Thanks again!!!

Good place to stay, The pricing is always decent and you get what you pay for but in this case, you get a nice hotel. The staff is extremely friendly. I Feel like they must really enjoy working there for how happy they always seem. Free Breakfast, Not to far from Dulles Airport for travelers.

Room is good, clean and comfort. Breakfast is hot with enough choices, but the room is too small, not safe if you walk between tables with plates on both hands, but staff keep refill the food which is good and fresh, even the manager greets you when you enter the breakfast room. Only concern is not too many choice of food or restaurant nearby.

We stay here each time we fly in/out of Washington Dulles or also Reagan International. Each time, it is a friendly stay- the airport shuttle is always timely and convenient, breakfast is good and the staff are friendly. It definitely meets the needs and is always a pleasant experience which is so nice when traveling so much!

I have visited several places and stayed in several hotels. But I have seen that Best Western is one of the best hotels to stay. It has good infrastructure and serves a very good breakfast. On top of that the personnel of Best West makes the difference. I found available people, ready to assist with extra service like helping you scan and send important documents in emergency.

Stayed one night before a conference. David Moran, the General Manager who was on-duty, was there. He offered me free drinks and a snack since it was late at night and did so without demanding payment, knowing I had come from a long way. He was very courteous as pleasant as well. The rooms were of excellent, clean quality, the area is quiet for sleeping, and breakfast the next morning was hot and while not Michelin chef quality, acceptable for a hotel. I already know if I'm ever back in this area I don't need to think twice about where I'd want to stay.

I found it to be an excellent place to stay especially because it was so close to the airport providing shuttle for airport. Would definitely recommend people to come and stay here. I just wished that you may lower the prices. Staff was excellent and I was treated really well, the breakfast options were good as well.

Great value, good staff and competent employees. Comfort and convenience if flying out of Dulles Airport. They have long term parking available. The front desk staff is helpful and efficient. I think they must take happy pills because no matter when confronted day or night they were extremely pleasant. The breakfast provided was top notch and served in a very clean atmosphere with no shortage of tables for the guests.

This hotel has the most sincere, friendly, and responsive staff I think I have ever seen. Just a nice group of people at all levels. A little noise issue with neighboring room but hotel staff addressed immediately. Basic accommodations, clean, with very comfortable bed. Excellent shuttle service.

We decided to try this hotel for a quick, one night stay while we were visiting Herndon, Virginia. The place was spotless. Front desk staff is very friendly and welcoming. While we didn't spend too much time in the hotel, other than sleeping, it left a great impression on us! The service at the breakfast in the morning, was amazing. There was a good variety of food to choose from. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the area, and would recommend to others.

I will only stay here whenever I am in Dulles. In my 17 years of traveling there are few places that make you feel as welcome as this. "Claire" the woman that handles the breakfast was incredible. The shuttle drivers never make you feel as your putting them out. I have to use hotel shuttles a lot and this makes a difference to me. The front desk staff was friendly and answered any question I had.

While the hotel is basic, it was a great experience because of the staff. From making reservations to picking up our car, the staff were thorough, efficient, helpful and friendly. While this compliment includes ALL staff, Mr. Bushra Chaudhry was outstanding in ensuring every aspect of our stay and pickup. We left our car there (they charge a very reasonable fee) and were warmly welcomed when we returned. I highly recommend this clean, hospitable hotel.

The service and helpfulness of the staff was outstanding, and better than most at 5 star hotels that I stayed. The rooms were a little small but clean and a great value. After check in, the desk called to verify that everything was ok (I stayed here 3 times and it was always good). I will stay here again!

first this is a nice hotel. friendly staff and great open buffet breakfast that is included in the room rate. I stayed on november 24th. and on November 25, 2015 at around 7am there is bob cat drilling in front of my room very very loud. Contacted front desk and said they will step out to find what is going on, Drilling stopped for ab out 10 minutes but continued again for another 15 minutes and stopped. of course that caused me a headache in the morning. I went to the front desk there looks like the manager was there and she appologized and said that was the county crew not us. but that was on the hotel property not the public street. of course they had no answer to that. That was a terrible incident, I stayed in many many hotels before and this is never happened. also there was a draft coming from underneath the room door. was cold draft too.

I booked this hotel on a whim because I was flying out last minute unprepared. Price was the best at the moment and the rental vehicle was inexpensive as well. I was traveling solo, so I needed to impress no one. As I reached, it was in the middle of a hotel/industrial district. It was a motel style place (which I hate) but when I opened the room door, I was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and comparable to the hotels that I frequent. Place was very nice. Only cons where the toilet flush pressure and the breakfast. The omelets where horrible. But you can do a Continental style breakfast as well. Overall, I would stay again.

Stayed one night at a Best Western. I had a great experience overall. The best part of the stay? The king size bed. The sheets were clean and crisp. The pillows were abundant and fluffy. The bed itself was supportave and did not have indentions from overuse. Great sleep on the road!!

Staff very helpful and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Best steak in town at O'Malleys who will deliver to your room and you can charge it to your hotel bill. Pet friendly and just a lot of amenities. Area is great as well a lot of things to do, and finally the price was fantastic for the DC area.

Convenient location, not too much expensive - good if you arrive late to Washington and need to sleep somewhere until the next morning. The rooms are OK, staff very helpful. Only transportation from the airport to the hotel after 12PM is a bit complicated - you need to call the reception and wait until a shuttle minibus from another hotel (Holliday Inn) arrives - we waited for an hour or so.

I found this hotel very economical. The free hot breakfast and shuttle service to and from the Dalles-Washington airport to be extremely valuable if you want to use public transport from the airport into Washington,DC. I highly recommend this hotel for stays within the Washington, DC area. I would use it again and tell my friends about it.

After a grueling search for a hotel in the DC area, Best Western Dulles Airport Inn was willing to take points for my stay despite the conference in town that had sold out hotels for miles and miles around. I'll admit this was certainly not my first choice, as it is outdoors and further from DC than I had ideally wanted to stay, but I am very happy to say my first impression on TripAdvisor was far from what I experienced once there. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with a warm smile and welcoming hello from the lovely attendant at the front desk. My traveling companions and I had booked a double room to which everything was ready for our arrival; keys, printouts, maps, etc. were handed over not even 30 seconds after having arrived. As we arrived so late, this was very much welcomed and I couldn't have asked for better service! After getting to our room, we realized the double bed situation wasn't ideal for our particular setup. I returned to the front desk to ask about a rollaway, but given fire code this wasn't possible to be used in the room we had selected. Without a second thought, the front desk associate was more than willing to provide us with a king room along with a sofa bed. Up the flight of stairs we went and we couldn't have been more happy. The sofa bed was very comfortable, despite it being a sofa bed; the king sized bed was warm and inviting after a lengthy-ish drive and despite being exhausted we couldn't manage to get to sleep. We made great use of the sofa and coffee table for a game of Phase 10, had a few drinks and finally passed out around midnight. There are planes flying overhead, but the sound was so minimal it was unnoticeable unless you were looking for a reason to complain. The water pressure in the room was wonderful! Hot water poured out from the moment the tap was turned on and lasted through three showers, back to back! The free (extended) continental breakfast was very impressive; you could tell they spared no expense in making an effort at providing a lavish breakfast spread for their guests. As someone who makes coffee all day long for a living, let me just tell you that the folks here have it right - the darker, the bolder, the better! Just the kick we needed to get our day started off. Overall, this stay was very much worth the cost of admission (in this case, points) and I would most definitely stay there again in the future. Wonderful job, BW Dulles!

The Best Western at Dulles Airport is the best "Best Western" hotel I had ever experience with. The receptionist are well train and professional, my good impression started from the moment I stepped in the door. Mrs. Bushra's sincere smiles and greeting makes me feel warm. In addition, Mrs.Bushra called couple minutes later to follow up about how I feel the room and is there anything I need assistance, this was exceptional(excellent) service experience I had ever experience in Best Western hotel. My Room number is 202, it is a King side bed room. The room is clean and neat, obviously the management of this hotel really paid attention to every single detail in the room. The condition of the room and services I received in this hotel is no different comparing with 5 star hotel.

This was a convenient hotel to stay at after arriving on a flight. Very close to the airport with a great shuttle service to and from the airport. The bed in our room was quite comfortable. Staff, pleasant, helpful, and professional. Breakfast buffet had a good variety to choose from. We will definitely stay at this Best Western again in the future.

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. It is basically a motel type property with rooms located outside with a central area. There are two levels. I stayed on the street level but I think there are no elevators for the second floor. The property is well kept. The rooms are well sized with a living room area (sofa and a table), the room looked clean. Bathroom was very basic (found a hair on the floor) but it looked clean also. No toiletries provided and the shower was too strong for my taste. The bed sheets are a bit thin and bed mattress a bit soft. Overall this is a good option if you will stay for a day and are flying in or out of dulles or if traveling on a budget (paid $84 for the night with wifi and breakfast included) they also offer a shuttle service to DC which runs like 4 times a day (did not use is) I took a cab to DC and paid $80 for the ride. The staff was very helpful. WIFI was working fine and is included. This is a very basic hotel. PROS: Felt clean and well kept, good room size. CONS: Motel style, could be very basic for some guests used to a better accommodation. Overall if you are looking for a cheap stay with good quality and a short visit I would reccommend this hotel for you.

The hotel is very accommodating, pet friendly, we returned our rental car that evening, the hotel picked us up at the airport and transported us back to the hotel. The only thing better would have been if they would have picked us up at the rental car area. Would stay there again.

We stayed here the night before we flew out of Dulles Airport to return home. Every employee we encountered was extremely polite and helpful. We had problems printing out our boarding passes, and they let us use their computers. The room was very serviceable and clean. They picked us up and took us to the airport very efficiently. The breakfast was perfect to tide us over before our morning flight. Overall, we were very happy with every aspect of our stay here.

Very good hotel about 10 minutes drive from dullies airport . staff very friendly and helpfull . rooms are a good size and clean with plenty of towels. A very good breakfast is provided of both hot and cold food. Would recommend this hotel.

Front desk staff is superlative, doesn't matter what the time - midnight or 3 pm. So professional, and helpful. Room was clean, well-maintained, excellent bed and bed linens. Extra pillow and blanket in the room was so appreciated - as was wall-mounted shower gel & shampoo. No messing with tiny bottle. My one complaint - bath linens were old and crunchy.

The customer service was truly amazing! There rooms are clean and about average in size. Their customer service is unmatched. I left my camera bag on the shuttle and with only a phone call the driver brought it right back without hesitation.

Excellent hotel. Took advantage of their "sleep and fly" option. Seven AM shuttle to Dulles and eleven PM shuttle back to hotel worked just fine. Well worth the convenience and savings in parking costs. Catching the return shuttle was quite a hike from baggage claim area but worked well. Highly recommended.

Its hard to find budget accommodation around DC and among the few, this one seems to be good enough. Apart from uncomfortable pillows, we did not face any other issues in our stay. The breakfast area is slightly small but this is expected in this genre of hotels.

This is one of the best hotels I have stopped in for a long time, the room was very clean with great facilities including a microwave and a fridge, The staff were really really nice, the facilities in the health centre were superb, even the breakfast was good!
