We have stayed here before. Check in was smooth and the room was clean. Location is good. But the mattress was awful. It was really worn and definitely needed to be replaced. You had to sleep in a hole . Disappointed. I added a couple pictures of the mattress
The Best Western Coach House is ALWAYS where we stay when in Springfield. This location has always been great. The staff is always the best and never any issues. I cannot give a better review than this. The entire facility is on one level too. No stairs to climb. Awesome hotel.
Staff at BW coach is the worst staff we have ever encountered. You get what they want or get out. They don't care and like to argue and lie about room that was promised. Bed in room 112 was hard as a rock. Biscuits were very hard and sausage was over cooked. Checkin and out staff both would not even listen and tried to over talk me.
Property is very tidy & clean. My room was excellent for sure, & Tammy at check in was very freindly & helpful. Very welcoming. Really appreciated the chairs around the rooms to go out & enjoy the night air! Loved watching the squirrels play before sun down too!
Nice, quiet, clean, older hotel. Room size was great, and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good, also. Price was affordable. No issues or complaints. One of the better hotels of our trip! Would definitely stay here again if I were passing through Springfield.
We always check the BW spots when traveling. I have yet to be disappointed. This gem is like a community. We had a great time and will be booking here again this fall. Just a great find!
Not good to stay, mold, roaches, worst smell, no hospitability. It is not safe for family visit. I could not find place to upload roach (cockroach) pictures
I've stay here for 25 years. Why? A. Easy access to the big road. B. Friendly folks. C.Clean & quiet rooms D. Park by my door E. Good hot breakfast F. Last but NOT least these folks do an outstanding job maintaining their property.
Worst experience ever. We travel a lot. We are not high maintenance people but this standard was awful. The rooms were filthy housekeeping did not check in frequently. We had to call and ask for them to come and when they did they only did the minimum. We had to take out our own trash and call for toilet paper several times. The staff were rude and unprofessional.
The Coach house has it all. Great location. Great staff. Lean rooms. Best access le room I ever stayed in. Great breakfast. Great pool.
Best Westerns are typically my go to place. That's why I was shocked that this was the worse experience I've ever had. The first room (159) smelled of a wet dog The second room (129) was overrun with ants (counter, washroom, towels, and bed). The third room (133) also had ants, so we went from our second room to our vehicle. We received no apology or any customer service from Elaine. And there was no manager on the premises. We didn't even spend the night in this place This place needs to be fumigated and renovated.
Great room. Walls are thin we could hear conversations of the room next to ours. The breakfast was delicious and everyone we came across was very nice. Nice are the pool was clean the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was nice and cold
Quiet, comfortable stay with lots of convenient places to eat that were close. Nice restaurant on the grounds.
We travel with our dogs and this was a great place to stay with our dogs. They had clean rooms, spacious for the dog crates, and couldn't hear much of the noise outside our room. The breakfast was a full breakfast with great selections. Sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy and other great options.
This hotel is in a great location, has friendly service, comfortable beds, a good breakfast and a nice family atmosphere. Will stay there again as we visit Springfield often.
Great stay! Clean rooms. Good breakfast, Staff is friendly! Dakota the breakfast attendant was awesome! Hard worker and extremely friendly! It was impressive to see such a young person with a wonderful personality and really worked hard for the people eating for breakfast! Way to go Dakota!
Motel was not impressive but I was satisfied with it for the price I paid. Favorite parts: lamps with phone cord outlets, larger than average desk size, fajita eggs above average. Worst thing: sticky spot on floor near vanity, bathroom small.
Nice place, each room has a separate entrance that is off the paking lot. This makes it noisy in the rooms when people come and go. Rooms are nice. We had a king size bed. I loved the dual shower head and the water pressure was fantastic. There is a There is an outside play area for the kids. Over all a very nice place to stay minus the parking lot noise.
A wonderful evening, night and morning. Had a pleasant evening prior to calling it a day. The night's sleep was as good as I have had in much higher priced establishments. Breakfast in the morning was pleasant. My wife asked me to spend another night there, but our itinerary was already booked. We will return.
This is our third visit to this hotel. He hasn't disappointed . The room is of great size. Great bathroom. The breakfast is very good with hot and cold items , excellent quality and very well care by the kitchen staff. The location is great, several restaurants within walking distance. If you like parking your car in front of your room like the old days, this is the place.
Clean, comfortable, affordable, nice breakfast. Stayed one night during a cross country trip. Exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommended. If we are looking for a place to stay in Springfield again we will definitely book a room here.
Check in was very efficient. Tamara was great and offered her help if we needed. Rooms were spacious & clean. Beds & pillows very comfy. Outdoor area and dog area were very well lite at night. Overall a great stay
If you stop in springfield, MO, I would recommend this hotel. They are always friendly, helpful and breakfast is always good. Room was clean. We always stop here on our way back from TX from visiting our son and family.
Nice and quick, easy and comfortable stay! Best rate I could find. Perfect for a quick overnight stay! Great location. Everything you need is right there and everything else is pretty close. Staff was extremely helpful!
Snowbirds here from Wisconsin to Arizona. Yes, all the reviews are accurate. The place is nice. It's clean and well managed. The rooms are a good size, and all the items are in good shape. I would stay here again. Very nice women in the morning when I checked out. And the water was not expected
The motel area was very clean and well-kept, and the price was very reasonable. They don't nickel and dime you with fees, and the staff were all very friendly. I very much recommend staying here as we will certainly again.
The breakfast crew showed great work ethic and pride in doing an amazing job and providing a quality breakfast. The check in and check out crew were very friendly and made both processes simple and enjoyable
Clean comfortable beds good pillows.Hot showers available.Quiet well maintained Grounds clean.pleasant desk clek.very helpful with finding restaurants.AC excellent.Good hot breakfast with eggs sausage and waffles.
We were in town to visit by son for MSU family weekend. We stayed here last year and had such a great experience that we chose this hotel again. Close to campus, friendly front desk staff, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Will stay again next year, too.
Stayed or 3 days with 2 other friends as we attended a convention at the Oaisis Convention Center across the street. We enjoyed the menu for breakfast, as it changed daily. Great variety of eggs, fried potatoes and sausage. Good biscuits with white gravy, mini cinnamon rolls, yogurt cups, fruit, etc. Love Love Love the Coffee/Cappuccino/Latte/Mocha Hot drink dispenser. Very friendly staff and complimentary water bottles. Will definatly stay there again. This was our second year to stay there.
Had stayed here in the past and had a good experience then. We arrived to find that the power was out in a portion of the motel, including the front desk, so they weren't sure if they would be able to check us in. I despaired a bit at this, since I had reserved through an outside website and would have to work through them to get a new reservation elsewhere. Thankfully, the front desk staff was able to contact someone at a sister hotel who was able to verify our reservation and check us in remotely. We had a king room, which was clean. Slight old smell of cigarette smoke, which was likely from the distant past. Bed was pretty soft, but was still comfortable and we slept well. The shower had amazing pressure! Breakfast area was really nice. Will likely stay here again.
This best western is very family friendly with playgrounds for the children and a nice grassy area for pets with a pet station. Complementary laundry is really nice and a good fitness center. Ziggys restaurant right? Next door is really good and convenient. The staff at this BW was above par and really went the extra mile to help us I highly recommend staying here.
The room was crawling with ants. We even had a few crawl on us…one was actually in the bed. They were all over a table and also present on the TV cabinet. When I mentioned the issue to the desk clerk, she said she was adding “a thousand or two” rewards points to our account. I'm not sure if she did, but, either way, this wasn't really acceptable. We've been staying at Best Western for some time because of the cleanliness, friendliness and value. However, in addition to the ant problem, this particular hotel seemed dated and a little run down. Makes me question whether Best Western will continue to be our go to option whenever we travel.
Be careful of false reports of damage, got charged for shattered TV that we did not damage, only other people who should have been in after us was cleaners. We did and always do check the room on entry and leaving and no sign of damage while we were there.
Very Cozy :) Super clean. Grounds were well maintained. Pool was great. Front desk staff very good. Breakfast was plentiful. Loved parking in front of our door. Older hotel but well taken care of. Thank you Coach House :)
It was late at night and I needed a room. The front desk attendant Stormy was amazing. At 2am she was cheery and helpful. I was offered complementary bottles of water. The room she gave me was perfect. You never know what to expect, but it was a great experience. Thank you Stormy for all your help.
They wouldn't give us our prepaid room. There was no one who worked for the hotel inside when we arrived at 10pm. I had to go and find her and she was outside smoking. Claimed she never saw us pull in despite the fact that we were in a 23 foot Winnebago. She was locking the pool you see. I had called before booking to see if they have adjoining rooms. After multiple calls she assured me they had them. But when I got there she insisted I couldn't have an adjoining room because we had a motor home and would have to walk to the room from the rv parking lot. I said okay that's fine. Please let me have the room. She got angry at me because I didn't let her finish her sentence and she then determined I didn't deserve the room because she was pissed that I interrupted her. Now I have to fight with hotels.com for a refund and find another hotel with two kids at 11 pm. Never. Stay. Here. They will make your life harder.
A perfect, comfortable and reasonable option especially for traveling families! All one story with above average breakfast, nice pool and easy access to I-44 and restaurants. A diamond in the rough. Don't miss this place!
May I simply list some aspects I appreciate about Coach House Inn. Easy to in & out off I44, I parked in front of my King room which was clean, quite, & comfortable. AC works & shower is hot. Breakfast is special - 2 meats, crisp taters, fluffy eggs, etc served in an area large enough to accommodate the crowd. Last but not least the folks that make it all happen. Their friendly & accommodateing attitude said - "we appreciate your business" for me this is remembered longer than the words.
Best Western Coach House is pet friendly and has a very nice green space for dogs. The rooms were clean and roomy. Can park right at your door. Good complimentary breakfast with plenty of sitting room. Friendly host at the front desk.
We had a very nice and large room that was clean and had enough towels for two people. The area was quiet and a resturant was located on the premises. Check in was quick and easy, check out was equally quick and easy.
Lovely last minute choice for our stay while traveling through - arrived late on December 30th, had large dog with us, found it so easy to check in and the rooms were clean and easy to manage with our kids and dog. The evening hotel clerk was so friendly and helpful as well.
Very nice, updated motel! I reserved a room here for just an overnight as we traveled to Chicago, but we'll definitely be back for a longer visit. We prefer motels over hotels because we like to just drive up to our room and unpack our belongings. This hotel has great drive-up appeal and the rooms are just as good! Comfy beds too. The temp was not quite as cool as we like, but we didn't want to turn the A/C on in the winter. Hot breakfast was delicious and complete. They also provide free water bottles. Thank you Best Western!
Hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. After driving for 8 hours, this was extremely important.Staff was friendly and helpful. Explained their rewards program and was knowledgeable about any questions I had.
I stayed here almost for a month on Business trip. Property is OK, bit old. Front office Staff are very friendly except 1 lady, overall service is good & are very flexible. Good location, just opposite to Walmart. Breakfast is OK. But the major issue is, there was a mouse in my room & i reported to them, got my room changed. But still i had to face same issue. I had to keep some food stuffs due to long stay, but i could not keep my stuff safe from Mouse. I reported this to Front office several times, they just make a note & thats all, there were no attempts to find the root cause.
We were needing a quick overnight stay as we passed through and we're not disappointed. Great value and much more room than we expected! The property is older but the room was clean and comfortable. We even had space to entertain a local relative and catch up for a bit. Would absolutely stay again!
We have stayed here for years, but the place has gotten so run down and shabby that we are through. Best Western should terminate their affiliation. It's a stain upon the brand. It was ok in the past and a good value, but no more.
I traveled from Chicago flying Springfield for a wedding. The price was decent, room was clean and basic. There was a small mouse issue I discovered the next morning since they had chewed through a grocery bag with a loaf of bread inside that I had placed on the tv stand. That said, I didn't see any mice other than the evidence of rodent teeth marks on my honey wheat
This was my first time at a Best Western and I'm very pleased that I booked here. Will definitely do it again whenever I revisit Springfield, MO. The staff is pleasant, the place is comfortable and clean, internet is good for both work and watching Netflix.
The thing that Sean, most about this hotel was the customer service. Staff is kind and friendly. I thought the rooms were clean and nice enough. The beds weren't as comfortable as I had hoped they would be after reading the reviews. Overall, I probably would stay here again.
BE Coach House is the way to go. Park in front of your room and walk in. The courtyard had chairs to relax in with nice landscaping. The hosts are phenomenal with giving great customer service, friendly and down right "where glad your here" feeling. The room was clean, the towels fluffy, and the beds comfortable with four pillows on each bed.
Great hotel to stay at with dogs! Fenced dog park and green areas all around make it so much easier! Single-level and parking outside your door makes loading/unloading a breeze! My room was very large and even had a sofa.
This hotel was clean and comfortable. Easy parking right outside door. Property was well maintained. Good location for access to downtown and Route 66 Car Museum. Easy access from I-44. Close to many restaurants and to Walmart.
We love staying here for dog shows. The rooms are clean & spacious enough to hold dog crates. Staff is friendly & willing to help. Breakfast is hot & fulfilling. Bottled water is free to guests. Computers are available in the main building.
Old fashioned motor court set-up - rooms have been revamped recently. Facilities are clean, spacious. Good bed. Nice breakfast. Easy check-in and check-out. Pet Friendly. Have stayed here before and will stay here again.
Disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. Cleanliness was not up to Covid Standards. Breakfast was great except the eggs. This was the only Best Western offering a handicap accessible room with two double beds. This is so important when the caregiver needs to be in the same room as the caretaker. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful.
I wish the marketing materials for this location more correctly described this as a motel, not a hotel. It is adequate under that description but it is definitely not a hotel. It is your classic old-school motel - not modern nor up-to-date. Everything is dated and sort-of clean. It's about as clean as it can get given the age of everything. Rooms smell a little musty and stale, have old-school window heater/air conditioner which means they are loud all night, and are dark and poorly lit. Internet didn't work at all. Bed was old and lumpy. If classic motel is your goal, then this site is fine. For those choosing this destination because of the electric car charger, it is important to note that it is located in the parking lot right along the main road. For that reason, we opted not to use it. We did not feel comfortable parking an expensive e-car basically right out next to the street. Seemed like an open invitation for vandalism or theft. On the positive side, all of the staff seem excellent - friendly, helpful, efficient and welcoming.
The room was clean but all the smoking that is allowed outside the rooms was a big NO for us. Not sure we'll stay here again. It seems to get worse each time we are passing through. The park in front of room is very convenient and is a plus. Close enough to Bass Pro Shop, eats and interstate.
Great location, across from Convention Center. Good Breakfast., Friendly staff and very helpful. Provide me a toothbrush when I forgot mine. Parking by the door and LOVED the Free Coffee in Lobby featuring Latte, Cappuccino and Mocha Latte and also complimentary water bottles in lobby cooler. Will definitely stay there again.
Located in north Springfield MO, about a mile or so off I-44. You can drive right up to your room and park in front of your door: Makes for easy loading and unloading. Not a new hotel, but clean and comfortable. We have stayed here more than once, and will do so again in the future.
Check in was very efficient and the two individuals working were so pleasant and professional. Our room was clean, cool, and very comfortable! The grounds were professionally trimmed, attractive, and clean. We had our dog with us, and the dog park was clean with green grass & a swing in the shade! Considering temperatures have been 100+ degrees for days, it was so nice to sit in the swing and let our dog lay in the nice cool green grass. Very nice pool, although we did not use it, was busy and everyone appeared to be having a great time. Evening was quiet as we sat outside our door in the chairs provided. The parking lot was patrolled periodically which I felt was a nice touch. I definitely recommend a stay here if you prefer a drive-up room like we do because of our pup.
Hotel was amazing. Staff was amazing. Located next to serval restaurants. They have free laundry and a fitness center and pool. Plenty of parking even if you have trailer or RV. They are willing to help accommodate any situation that may arise.
Exceptional courtesy shown by staff in a spotless environment! Friendly personnel throughout all facilities. Would stay there again if we are in that area. Nice fresh breakfast with great variety of foods.
nice rooms and staff just had a ant problem love the location and the food room was comfortable real close to lots of businesses and resturants would reccomend just they need to keep a eye on the ant problems
The BMW MOA club held a rally at the fairgrounds and many members stayed at your hotel. We really liked the layout and the tables and chairs outside the rooms where many of us gathered each evening. My grandaughter and I enjoyed the pool each day.
Nice large complex within walking distance of restaurants and even a Wal-Mart. Breakfast was excellent as was the lobby and check in / out process. Maid service was average, with only towels changed in the 3+ days I stayed there - bed was not made and room was not vacuumed, probably because I was in it when the cleaning staff showed. Internet was barely usable - slow. Probably because the hotel was pretty full due to the BMW MOA Rally during the time I stayed. My room had a ceiling fan but this is not always the case I was told.
Great motor lodge style hotel, right off old Route 66, modern clean rooms, fridge and microwave, super breakfast, eggs, sausage , waffles, snacks, comfy beds, nice pillows, friendly staff. Just what we look for. Will definitely stay here again
Property was nice and clean. When we pulled up my wife wasn't so sure about the old motel look where you park outside your room but by the time we left she was happy we stayed there. We will stay there again when we are in the Springfield MO area. The breakfast was good with waffles, eggs, potatoes and sausage, along with biscuits and gravy, plenty to give you energy to get through your day.
The rooms were not cleaned for 2 days, towels were not replaced had to go to the laundry room to get our own, dirty towel on the lamp shade, 3 mice on a sticky board in one of the rooms and they had obviously been there for days.
Bathroom had mold on the ceiling. Refrigerator was broken. Weather striping on door was broken so door did not close properly. Manager moved us to a new room. Had problems with the television and with the room keys working. Rooms also had an odor and very little lighting in the rooms.
Stayed several times at the BW and it just keeps getting better! I feel spoiled staying here. The staff is great especially Becca and Haley. The check in and out was easy peasy! Loved the Brachs caramels and the coffee was delicious. Room was clean and adequate. Ziggys next door is convenient and a decent place. While in Springfield have breakfast at Jimmys Egg!
Coach House is an excellent choice when visiting Springfield, right off Glenstone and close to shopping, Cardinal Games, restaurants and universities. Set back a bit from the road isolates the rooms from road noise. Rooms were clean and well appointed, breakfast was hot and tasty.
Traveled with my husband, mother, and for children. Got a two queen room with a free playpen from the front desk. The beds were firm and comfortable. The hotel offered only grab and go breakfast during our stay, but I was satisfied. The location was quiet and we didn't have any problems checking in.
Very modern and clean. Great outdoor atmosphere . We sat outside in the evening. It was quite and pleasant. Definitely will stay on next trip through the area. Lobby was clean and fresh. Great place to stay
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The manager made sure that all of our needs were completely met. The location was right off the highway and very easy to locate. I will definitely stay here again!
Thank you for a great place to stay. We will be back and recommend your location to others. It is very quiet and accessible. The office girls were quick, helpful and professional. The room has all the amenities and was very clean. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked, and cold complimentary bottled water at the desk was an appreciated bonus. Thank you for being there for us.
I am a local resident who needed overnight accommodations following knee replacement. The friendly staff were very accommodating and it made my transition to physical therapy very easy. They even took our ice packs and froze them in a better freezer. Thankful for their help.
I wanted the kids to experience an old style motel. They had only stayed in hotels, so this was a first. I forgot how nice it was to park right in front of your room. The motel was clean, and had a full breakfast. They offered free bottled water, and coffee, tea and cocoa in the lobby. The room was cleaned each day, and we had a good experience here.
You do not see many motels any more that are not run down, unclean, and limited amenities. However, this Best Western Coach House MOTEL exceeded all of my expectations by far. The rooms were exceptionally clean. The rooms had all of the HOTEL amenities including small refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, USB ports on lamps, and even small bottles of shampoo/conditioner and body wash. We parked right in front of our room so it was very nice to only have to walk a few steps to bring in luggage, etc out of the car. The check-in and check-out process was super easy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything in the room was nice and in working order. This place is very nice...don't let the "MOTEL" stamina keep you from staying here.
This hotel offers in a very bad area, and it doesn't feel safe. The room was filthy. There were dead bug shells in the corners of the room, the floors and table were sticky and I left after 1 hour. The staff outside cleaning rooms were smoking and the smell was very unpleasant just to get to our room. I do not recommend this hotel.
We were shocked to see the Coach House in person after reading such glowing reviews from others. This is a motel...dated, in disrepair, and certainly not clean. Beds are uncomfortable (worn and unsupportive). Shared the room with ants. Definitely disappointed by the room cost for what you get. Rates should be same as budget motels.
There was a rat in the room and sugar ants all over the sink in bathroom. I did get moved to another room and the gentleman helped me move my belongings after the rat incident, but I was afraid there was another in the room I was in.
We had been wanting to check out this property for future visits to Springfield when weather found us stuck in Springfield for 24+ hours, and we took advantage of the opportunity to stay here! We were overwhelming pleased with almost everything we found. Friendly staff, Quiet, Family friendly affordable and comfortable!
Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was really good, tasty & free. Staff friendly & very nice. Great stay. Rooms all all outside access, no stairs & can park close to room so it is easy to load/unload car. We can't do stairs so this was a plus. Nice & quiet also.
Everything about our stay at the Best Western Coach House in Springfield was so nice!! The staff was friendly and helpful, the property was well maintained, everything was clean and the room smelled nice, the bed was comfortable. It was just a lovely, all-around stay. We would definitely choose this location again and would highly recommend.
Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was always good and the room was great I brought my dog with me and she loved the pet park. I will be back for another 7 day stay soon. I would like to thank the staff and housekeeping for everything they do.
We love the Coach House! We travel with our 2 small dogs to Iowa once a year and stay here because they have a lot of great green space for the dogs, a fenced in dog park and provide bags for cleanup if needed. I like that the room we stay in has a large counter area outside the bathroom. We also appreciate the mini fridge and microwave. Very comfy beds and bedding too!
Can't go wrong to stay here, I stay as often as I can when traveling back and forth from TX to IL, with small dogs, great location and the staff has been the best I have visited, you need to stop for sure when you are able
This roadside motel has all the amenities and upgrades of any standard 3 star hotel. It was very updated, clean and quiet! The reception and staff was excellent and I could not have felt more safe and secure while traveling alone cross-country. The staff seemed to really care about my experience and were accommodating and cool. Even the breakfast was pleasant, higher quality than standard hotel fare and the host for breakfast went out of her way to make guests feel comfortable. Upgraded beds, amenities and extremely comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
We were very disappointed with this Best Western. We think they keep the lighting low so you can't see the soil and stains. Walls were very thin. Front office was decorated for Christmas and was nice but rooms had poor lighting.
We have been staying at Best Western Coach House for five years since we make regular trips to visit our kids in Springfield. We have been impressed with the consistent value this hotel delivers. Throughout COVID we have felt safe at Best Western Coach House. The management and staff really seems to be on top if it.
I travel a lot and this so far is friendliness and helpfulness of staff was probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in they were this is a wonderful hotel pet friendly pet friendly I have a playground for kids and a pool and the grounds are well kept
Satisfied with accommodations and interaction with staff. Breakfast options were great and food was delicious. Staff always friendly and helpful. Our check in and check out was fast and done very efficiently. We had one minor issue with our room that was handled quickly and solved immediately.
I have been to many hotels in the past and this one I'll be extremely happy to stay again. Customer service was over the top and rooms were clean and nice size. I have no complaints I totally recommend this hotel
The Best Western Coach House was the perfect hotel for my stay. I wish there were more hotels like this in other cities! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, large and comfortable. I was traveling with my dog and appreciated the green spaces and the fenced dog park. The lobby coffee machine produced some very good coffee, better than at any other similar hotel I have experienced. Highly recommend this hotel!
Friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious and very clean and the bed was comfortable. Also has relaxing chair and foot stool along with a desk and stool. Nice breakfast with several options to choose from. Easy access to and from the main road.
I had to look at the mattress I was sleeping on because it was so comfy. Like sleeping on a cloud. It was also a treat to have lots of towels. This BW was not skimpy on providing great towels and lots of toiletries. I love also the corner unit I stayed in. I can go on and on about their breakfast offerings. Always plentiful and hot. It allowed me to try biscuit and gravy for a true mid-west experience.
Points on website were not honored by hotel. I had to contact the best western Customer service to get the points honored. On the website it showed 16,000 points at the hotel they wanted 20,000 points. I was very disappointed. This hotel has always been a favorite.
I have stayed here several times and have enjoyed each one, they have a children's play area and dog walk area. The rooms and hotel are older but have been upkeep great and rooms are always clean. The people have always been friendly and helpful. I will continue to stay here each time I am in the area
Friendly staff in lobby and dining area. Good breakfast options and placement of items allowed for distance among others. Room was awesome. Clean, recent upgrades, good tv channel options and reliable internet/wifi.
Staff was friendly and very helpful. Clean and breakfast was great. Location is awesome. Went to Walmart across street for supplies and ordered pizza delivered to our room. Pool was very clean. Wish they had towels out by the pool but not a problem if you needed more.
I absolutely LOVED this hotel!! From check-in to check-out the experience was absolutely fabulous. The rooms are absolutely cute little cottage type feel and so CLEAN!! Loved the outside patio and accessibility to a restaurant onsite. But, the absolutely FABULOUS surprise was the onsite doggie park with enclosed fencing. It was so what we needed after a 9+ hours trip with 3 Huskies. We didn't even go straight to the room; we headed to the doggie park first and let our babies run free. They were so happy that it made us happy. They have obstacle courses for the pets and seating for the parents. A pet lover for sure owns this place!! We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this wonderful surprise. We are telling everyone we meet about our experience and how wonderful Best Western is for Pet owners.
I always book this motel when I am in Springfield. It is quiet and very comfortable. Front desk staff is very friendly. It is pet friendly. I have never brought my dog with me but they do have a fenced in play yard for your pet. There is also a large green area where you can walk your dog. They supply the “poo” bags there to clean up after your dog. This motel is close to many popular restaurants and fast food places. There is a super Walmart across the street. Some of the rooms have private patios where you can sit outside.
Room 161 was clean and comfortable with a great jacuzzi tub. The actual Jacuzzi is in the bed area and there is a separate bathroom with shower toilet sink etc. There is a nice continental breakfast in the lobby in the mornings. If you need to use the computer there is a business center in the lobby. Free water bottles are available at the front desk. There is an outdoor pool. The front desk staff is polite and helpful. We would stay here again.
We had a great night here with our dog. The front desk staffer Leonard was so friendly and helpful, and when we got to our room and found the lock was not working, he immediately came over and moved us to another room. This is like an old-school moto lodge, with cars pulled right up to the door. I was worried about how noisy that would be but it was not bad at all. The room was very comfortable and clean and breakfast was a good selection of choices. Traveling with a dog, I really loved the dog park this hotel has created. There is a large grassy area right in front of the rooms, but there is also a fenced in area for dogs that even has some agility equipment (some jumps and a tunnel!). This was a really nice break for our dog to run off leash for a bit. This is a really unassuming hotel that was really comfy and friendly. I highly recommend it if you are traveling with your pet!
I loved that there is a small park and playground there for kids and dogs. It is great being able to park right outside your front door for easy access to your vehicle. Decor in rooms is up to date. Front desk staff are wonderful.
Cute and welcoming court yard. Drive through court area had the pool and pet area with all rooms having access to this area. Clean rooms. Really appreciated the Carmel's and bottled water! Very good breakfast.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Motel is updated and well-maintained. Lovely park-like grounds and a nice outdoor pool. Refrigerator and microwave in all rooms. All rooms are on one level and you can park right in front of your door. Have stayed here twice and will always stay here on trips to Springfield, MO.
This motel had served up the best breakfast among all the motels we had stopped over the past 12 months. Thank you for the multi-flavor coffee machine, which is a special treat. We had a comfortable bed and quiet room, which is a good value. Our room had a beautiful backyard. The staffs are pleasant and courteous. . .
If you have choices, I would spend some extra money to stay elsewhere. If not, this is fine. The bed and the bathroom were clean enough. The breakfast seemed adequate. It appears dog friendly. Service was friendly. The neighborhood has several chain restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are drive up (it is a motel). Room is tight and dark with very small windows.
The room was dirty. The bathroom had used soap complete with hair in the shower. The carpet had trash so it was obvious that the room had not been properly cleaned. We spent the first hour trying to get all the flies out of the room. If I could do zero stars I would for this one. Bed was a lumpy mess.
I loved staying here for the 5 nights we were in town. The Staff was exceptional and the breakfast set the bar for all other Best Westerns I stayed at during my 14 day trip. The refrigerator was twice the size of the other Best Westerns hotels which was really nice holding all of our food. I would give this Best Western five stars for sleep quality but one night was utterly ruined by loud children next door who wouldn't settle down till well after midnight. Although noise from other guest can happen anywhere, I was disappointed that I could hear the children as well as I did without my hearing aides.
Nice that the rooms are all one level so no one is stomping above you. Rooms were pretty well insulated! Pool was open, clean & enjoyable. The continental breakfast was kept stocked, food was warm & tasty! We enjoyed the little playground as well!
There were many things I liked about this hotel. The location was good and we were able to walk to dinner. Easy off and on the freeway. It was great being able to park directly outside of our room. That was a real plus after a long day on the road. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful both with our arrival and departure. Our room was clean and met our needs. I really liked the separate dressing and bathroom areas and the large vanity. There was plenty of room for us to get dressed without getting into each other's way. Plenty of towels but only one washcloth. The bed was comfortable but the linens were very low end, the pillows needed an upgrade. With all the pluses this would be an easy fix to upgrade. A nice long comfortable couch which would have been more practical facing the TV other than on the same wall. Nice little table and chairs outside of our door was perfect for relaxation! Although we did not use the pool, it looked nice and there was also a park-like area with equipment for families and kids. Our room was in the back which gave us lots of privacy and quiet but a little bit of a hike to breakfast or office. After some initial problems logging on to the internet the staff was able to resolve the issue by phone. The connection was good. Breakfast was offered but was just mediocre. Complimentary cold water and caramels offered in the office. The price was right and I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are traveling on a budget.
I was at the Coach House for 8 days for a dog show in the area. The grounds were lovely (tho the grass was a bit tall, but was cut while I was there). The staff was cordial and kind. The room was clean and smelled nice. The bed was very comfortable. I did have a few issues in my room and with the dog park they have on site, but overall the stay was lovely and I would stay there again.
This hotel is our home away from home when we visit our Springfield family. I am a retired hospitality professional and the Best Western Coach house always gets top rating from me for comfort, service and value. On our last trip, we had a problem with uncomfortable beds. When we reported to the front desk, they quickly and professionally moved us to a room with upgraded beds for our second night and applied a courtesy discount to our bill. They explained there was a bed upgrade in process, and I suggested any rooms without really good beds be removed from inventory until upgrades are completed. This is the first problem we have had in our three years staying at this hotel, and it was handled very well.
Leonard checked us in. He represented himself and the motel quite well. I was given all the information that directed me to the room, parking, local attractions, etc . I WILL stay again when we are in Springfield.
Deck clerk Lenard is a computer tech and can fix those issues. He is personable, attentive, & helpful. STAFF gets a 10. But, our room had roaches during the night & ants!! Cleanliness gets only a 2!!!
I've stayed here many times over the years, but I guess this was my last. The staff is always extremely courteous, no complaints with them, or even the motel. It's old, but they do a good job of keeping it clean. But the clientele is creating an unsafe feeling environment. A group of men congregated outside my two adult daughters' room drinking hard liquor, and talking very suggestively and aggressively towards them. This isn't the motel's fault, but it's a product of the location, and for this reason, we won't stay here again.
Always clean and conveniently located near restaurants and the interstate. Exercise room needs upgrading and staff needs a little training, but other than that I will definitely return the next time in in Springfield.
This is the second time we have stayed at this motel. I love parking at the door and the room, while not fancy, was sufficient. It is close to the highway and plenty of restaurants. The only reason I don't give it a five star is because our mattress wasn't the greatest but I love how quiet it is, the pretty little park in the middle if you want to set outside. I really like this motel.
Stayed here 3 times in the last 4 months. Very clean rooms and great atmosphere. Staff is very polite and helpful. Lots of choices for dining close by and just off of the interstate. I am planning a group stay next year.
Our room at heating, electrical and plumbing issues. Bathrooms are not heated at all and it was cold. They have no towel storage which creates awkward moments when using shower. The only thing good was being able to park and walk directly into your room.
The room served its purpose, a night of sleep. The toilet was the height of a toilet you would find in a preschool bathroom, while the sink was above average height. The bagged breakfast contained a water bottle, and three toddler sized servings of carbs: a fruit cup, tiny granola bar, and a miniature sized pastry. Fresh fruit, juice and a protein in adult portions would have been nice. My husband had to use the clip hanger technique to close the drapes entirely.
Anytime I come to Springfield this is where I stay. All of the staff is friendly. I have never had any problems when I have stayed here. Fast check in and out. Hot breakfast served. The rooms have all been nice and clean.
We were visiting Springfield for a dog competition. Spent a couple of nights in this Best Western. We didn't know this was a historic site. Route 66 began here. They even post that Elvis stayed here. The room was clean. The staff were great. I was impressed with the courteous staff when I called to get a price. I called a couple of other places but chose thus place because of the person answering the phone. I want a place with a pool. This place has an outdoor pool. The other place had the indoor pool but I chose this place in spite of not being able to swim. Upon arrival I was met bet 2 staff members that were just as awesome as the person on the phone.
We have vacationed here before and it was amazing then. But this trip was a little different. My husband and I are truck drivers and we broke down on the side of the road. It was 12 degrees and we had no heat. Took us 12 hours to get towed away. We happened to get pulled to a place not far from this hotel. And we were super excites because it is pur favorite. When we got there and told them our ordeal they treated us as family and gave us such good treatment. Us not know how long we would be there. They help us day by day with our room. The most excellent hotel and staff by far. On our final day we had to wait till 2:00 to get our truck and they didnt charge us for the half day. They let us stay there so we didnt wait in the cold! Best place ever!
Nice clean and friendly motel with easy access to I44 and local place to eat, shop, and just relax. Web will stay here on our next visits to the Springfield area. I would recommend this motel. The price was very reasonable
Absolutely lovely. Everything you would want for an overnight stay. Great bathroom, comfortable beds, fridge works and even had a small freezer, many grassy areas for dogs as well as a nice dog park. They even offered a bagged breakfast. They are staying safe but still offering everything you need during the pandemic. Thanks to all the staff. Great job!
Needed a room for 1 night while passing through. Saw many positive reviews on Trip Advisor, so called for an AARP rate. Rate very good, room very clean, comfortable. Would definitely stay again if passing through.
My wife and I travel cross country between Colorado and Michigan about 4 times per year. We travel with our cat and have had a little difficulty at times finding a hotel that accepts cats (some advertise pet-friendly but only allow dogs). This hotel was clean, super friendly staff. Nice grab & go breakfast bag with stuff you actually will eat ... water bottle, granola bar, tasty little mini-donuts. Nice clean sofa and comfortable king bed. Our only complaint was noise from a group of rowdy young men that were loud in the parking lot talking until 1 am, but we did not bother to complain.
We stopped here on our way south. Unexpected surprise. Motel was older but very nice. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. It was really fun to stay at a place with our car right outside our door. Mad arrival great. Dest staff was wonderful. We'll drive out of the way to stay here again.
Clean convenient and friendly. This place is a gem. Easy to get to off I44. Pull right up to your door. The staff was so friendly and helpful and the bed was so comfortable woke up so refreshed. This place will be high on my list every time I am down this way.
We stayed at the Best Western in Springfield during a two-day drive from Santa Fe to Milwaukee. We could not be more shocked that this dingy, depressing motel got any good reviews. It's the kind of place where you drive your car up to the spot outside your room. The room was non-smoking, but there were cigarette burns in the upholstery of the miniature couch as well as in the carpeting. The carpeting was rumpled and filthy—we would have attempted to switch rooms but had already done so once because of a barking dog in the room next door. We were too tired to move again. The linens are awful—there was a dirty yellow velour accent piece of fabric on the bed. The sheets are thin and not fitted to the bed, and the duvet is so light weight that it just felt like another sheet. There were spots on the duvet cover. It really was an unsanitary and neglected facility, and there are many other choices off that freeway exit. Stay away!
very accomodating with dogs. now has a dog park. excellent parking and breakfast. clean room, good tv, lots of towels, no odor. quiet. overall a great bargain. good location as well. lots of food establishments near by.
The Hotel was clean, VERY friendly staff and was very accommodating when we asked if we could check out at 12:00 instead of 11:00. as we had a late meeting. The bed was comfortable. Motel is Pet friendly.
This motor court hotel consistently hits the mark for great customer service, cleanliness, and security. Nicely furnished and comfortable rooms. I stayed in a king suite and appreciated the sofa and small back courtyard area. Staff is very attentive and responsive. New dog park is a great addition. This is our hotel of choice in Springfield mo. Hot breakfast, and free laundry. Many restaurants within walking distance. If you are a light sleeper, sometimes neighboring rooms can be noisy.
We have stayed here more than once, 1 time bringing a grandson, one time with our dog, a couple of time just my husband and myself. We have enjoyed our stay and it is close to many places to eat & convenient to where we will be going during our time in Springfield.
Our room was clean, beds very comfortable, plenty of pillows, towels and green space to walk the dogs with complimentary poop bags. There was a small playground, fitness room & seasonal pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Really enjoy this property. I have stayed here multiple times per year, and for many years. It has always been a very good experience. The staff is top notch, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the hot breakfast is always very good(COVID has changed the breakfast process some). This is not a new or super modern facility, so don't expect it. Its a bit older, buy maintained very well, a pleasing setting, with clean and comfortable rooms, and a very pleasant and helpful staff. My group stays here every year for large car shows in town, and always enjoy our stay.
The staff at this hotel are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are roomier than expected. This is a ground floor only hotel and I like that part, it has been kept up and has been modernized. I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay, has a playground for children, staff provides to go bags for breakfast during the week and filled with good items. The price that I paid was very reasonable and the rooms were comfortable and roomy. I will book again when in the area, a very good stay.
Highly recommend this motel. Efficient friendly staff and the most clean well maintained rooms we have experienced. Every part of this unit is top shelf. Especially for folks with dogs. Rates are competitive and the staff takes their responsibilities very seriously, wanting to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
We stay here every time we come to Springfield. We have always been treated with respect and they are very prompt to help you in any way. Everything is clean and in working order. The front desk is very willing to help you if you are a Rewards member too.
Loved our room. There is a restaurant on site. Since it was raining at the time of check in the front desk person let us park our motorcycles under the awning while we went to Ziggys next door for dinner and let the rain clear up before going to our room. The breakfast was great, even with covid got a hot meal, coffee and water. Just had to take back to our room. If you are traveling with children ask for a room by the pool and playground.
This was a fairly good hotel to stay in, friendly atmosphere and overall a good visit. Close to where we needed to be, excellent stay. Decor was a bit 70's ish but overall nice. I would recommend to others.
Our guests service was amazing. Our room was clean and the location was perfect. We still was able to get a nice breakfast. The staff put what we wanted in containers rather than us serving ourselves. I like that much better it seemed more safe.
I have stayed at this motel many times over the years, and always look forward to my stay here. They are pet friendly, have consistently clean rooms, welcoming and helpful staff, and I love the fact that I can park right outside my door. It's a place where you can sit outside, slow down, enjoy the air, breathe, relax, and maybe even read a book. This is one of my favorite places.
My wife and I have stayed at this BW in the past with good experiences but this recent stay was disappointing. First it was obvious that the room had recently been occupied by a smoker(s) by the smell. Second I couldn't connect to the internet. Third there were grease or tar stains on the bathroom floor that hadn't been removed. I called the desk on items one and two and asked to be moved to another room but was told there were no other rooms available, they were booked up. I was told that normally I would have been offered another room but none were available and instead I was told I would be given extra award points but haven't confirmed if I received them. I'll cut the hotel some slack because of Covid-19 but these issues shouldn't be Covid-19 related.
This was a nice place that was comfortable, clean and well kept. It was family friendly with easy access and a decent little restaurant next door. It is a motel and not a hotel as advertised. This thing requires that I use a minimum of 200 characters. Did it!
We came back to this hotel and the stay was really great for the conditions (stupid Covis-19). My only issue during our last stay was condition of the commons area and that did not exist this time. Room was excellent and we really appreciated the bagged breakfast. Staff was great as well. Thank you and we will be back.
This hotel is one of my personal favorites when I come to Springfield to visit family. I've stayed in both the King sized bed rooms and last time decided to upgrade to one of their suites. I was very impressed with the suite and would definitely get one the next time I'm there. The staff are worthy of working at a five star hotel in downtown New York City; they are always friendly and the last time I was there, a young clerk who was originally from Russia and I talked about Russia and talked about Russian words. The only thing I wish they would do is call me Greg; Mr. Leeb was my dad, and I'm too young to be called Mr Leeb lol :) The hotel is minutes (depending on traffic) from both I-44 and the Springfield Airport. It is easy to get into and out of their parking lot and their breakfast has plenty of choices. I look forward to my next stay at this hotel.
I make frequent trips to Springfield each year, and this is my preferred motel. Location is great, the rooms are always clean, beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is really good . This is an old facility that has been kept up great. The rates are a nice value, and the staff has always been helpful.
The rooms are always clean and well stocked, the beds are very comfortable, and this location is close to major highway and plenty of restaurants and shops. I always stay here when visiting Springfield.
Becca checked us in!!! She was amazing! She cared for us and made sure I was comfortable after driving 18 hours and being awake for more than 24 hours! Please give a shout out to Becca!! By the way, I booked at ecolodge but my son didn't like the look of it so we moved down to BEST WESTERN AND WAS VERY HAPPY. The Breakfast was to die for!!!! Biscuits of gravy!!! Cereal and milk! We were so happy!
This place would remind you of the old motor Inns of a past era. I found it clean up to date. Definitely stay again. The value of the room and it is in a great area in the city. A lot of great places to eatnear here also.
We had to take a last minute trip for a family emergency. Arrived at the hotel at around midnight to see if they had availability. We were greeted and helped quickly with friendly service. Housekeeping through the week was hit and miss but not terrible. We found sugar ants in our room and reported it. They came in to spray, but still had ants the following day. We had an adjoining room and that door between the rooms was very thin and we could here every word the loud neighbors said. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient.
My family stayed here for two nights on a road trip from FL to CO. I was impressed from the check-in. I was greeted by two friendly clerks and encouraged to take treats for both my human babies and my fur baby (they had caramels and dog treats in containers). The room was clean and comfortable. We were able to park right in front of our room and had a direct view of the playground so our daughters could play safely, while we sat in the chairs outside of our room and watched. The playground was nostalgia for my husband and I with the metal slides. The kids enjoyed watching us go down them too. The breakfast buffet contained the normal hot buffet items, but was very good quality. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay.
Had to find somewhere to "get away" for the weekend. just now on Google My Room is immaculate well stocked, and has absolutely 0 smells. (Y'all know exactly what I mean by smells if you stay in many motels!) Pet friendly with a huge walking area, fitness room, playground, swimming pool. Quiet! Comp breakfast was very very good! Thank you Miss Dakota!! She kept the dining area fully stocked with fresh food, clean tables, and offered abundant smiles!
We were very impressed with the Best Western Coach House. The entire outside of the buildings were very appealing, with this being a one story motel with many larger multi-story hotels around it this one was so inviting for a stay. We had a late check in and the lady that checked us in was very pleasant and helpful. The free breakfast was amazing and the lady that was running the area was awesome, she made sure that the breakfast area was kep clean while constantly refilling the items available. The food was good, plentiful, and hot with eggs, sausage, potatoes, along with pastries and cereal. The room was nice and the bed was super comfortable. Next time my family is in town we will be staying here.
Our King Suite was very clean and spacious. Having a patio off the back was a nice touch and we enjoyed sitting outside. We had a wonderful experience and slept great on the comfy bed. Each staff member we came into contact was friendly and eager to assist.
This was a good example of the Best Western brand. Madisen was great at check in. As Platinum members we were upgraded to a King Suite. It was a large room with a patio and easy parking. There were minimum television channels. The vanity was separate from the shower/toilet area. The shower had good water pressure. There was a coffee machine in the lobby that also dispensed delicious hot chocolate. Breakfast was very good with both hot and cold options.
The hotel staff were very courteous. The rooms were clean. The hotel location was good. There was good parking and easy access to the hotel rooms. The hotel was close to restaurants. The hot breakfast is great for travelers.
Although this is an older hotel it was very well-kept, clean and updated. Breakfast was good. It's easy access on and off the interstate. I did hear a little noise from the guests either side but nothing that wasn't tolerable.
We were driving through on our way home and stopped here. We made on reservations on line and had no issues at all. Once we arrived, we checked in quickly and got to our room. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We were very glad breakfast was available at 6am on Sunday so we could eat and get back on the road. Recommend for an inexpensive stay. Not fancy, but sufficient.
My wife, the fur babies and I spend the first night of our life trip here an older hotel but well kept. The fur babies enjoy the outdoor area and we enjoyed the room. Nice breakfast served. Will remember this hotel next time we travel this area
The motel is 2 blocks off I-44. Traveled with our dog so it was very nice to be able to park right in front of our room. Great grass area in the courtyard. The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was more then expected. We will stay here again in the future.
Highly recommended, excellent service, devoted staff, superb breakfast, Restaurant is fabulous with large succulent portions, all you can eat Walleye, chicken or ribs, after eating here you won't want to search elsewhere for food.
This is my go to hotel when in Springfield. The rooms are so comfortable. Makes you feel right at home. Very fast check in and helpful staff. Close to interstate with several options to nearby restaurants.
Excellent hotel. The decor was very nice. The room was clean and made up well. The TV included some premium Chanel's so we enjoyed the opportunity to watch a movie without commercials. The only thing Lacking was a way to hang a hand towel next to the sink.
The check-in was very quick and easy. The location is very close to I 44 do getting in and out was very easy. The breakfast was good,. the workers at the motel were very friendly and I would recommend this motel.
I stayed at this BW on my way home after Thanksgiving & was very happy with my entire experience. I had my dog with me and a senior family member as well. I asked and was accomodated a handicapped accessible room with a walk in shower for my mom.
Great location, great price, great amenities. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Honestly, these days you get what you pay for. This was not that experience. The rooms, the staff, the amenities, everything far exceeded my expectations. I would let my mother stay here and that says a lot.
Stayed at the Coach House for the third year in a row. This was the cleanest it has been so far with upgraded bathroom and very helpful front desk assistance. We use the fridge to store some perishables and appreciate the cleanliness of it. All units are on the main floor so no dragging stuff up stairs or on an elevator. Jimm's steakhouse nearby has the best food and superb service of ANYWHERE. Portions are large so we split the excellent roast beef dinner.
I have been noticing several Best Westerns that have been remodeled or new ones built in a more modern style. Honestly some Best Westerns we have stayed at have been severely lacking. This stay has changed my opinion. First, we were given an upgrade when we checked in and the clerk was very personable. That is not always the case. The room was great. Very roomy, very clean and the furniture was more pallatable than ordinary hotel furniture. I absolutely loved the vanity. Plus, there were little extras such as the extendable magnifying mirror, an actual decorative tissue box and an attractive wooden trash can. The room had more than enough towels/washcloths... which is rarely the case. Breakfast was outstanding. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage patties AND links AND smoked sausage. Waffles, cereal, yogurt and danish. They even had Tabasco on each table. I always use it on my eggs. So so so good. Each room had a small bistro table/chairs outside the door. I have never seen the coffee pot pod holder sealed in a plastic bag before. Well done BW. The only complaint I have is the bathroom ceiling vent needed a good cleaning. Corners were clean even behind the door. I am so impressed with BW and will seek them out more often.
I would recommend anyone to find a deal greater that the BW couch house in Springfield Mo Rooms where clean and comfortable and the free breakfast was more like a fancy buffet on Sunday morning after church! Well done Best Western!
We tried this property on our way out west. We usually stay at one of the other "pet friendly" hotels that has gotten rather expensive over the years. Having read the reviews we were game to try it. We were still surprised at how nice this was for the money. After a long day driving, the bed was clean and so comfy. The rooms were nearly as nicely appointed as our former "expensive" hotel. The lovely breakfast room and food choices were as nice as we were used to. Cars park right in front of your room and the parking is very well lit so keeping an eye on your vehicle was easy. The sizeable center grass park area is perfect for walking your dog. The restaurant right on the grounds was nice and saved us having to venture out again. Staff there were exceptional. Only drawback was there was a gap between the door frame and the door big enough to allow for a draft although the heating was sufficient to keep the room comfortable.
These old style hotels are being brought back to life! Great hotel to stay in and relax and enjoy. Breakfasts are good and the one in Lusk Nevada was out of this world!!! The best we have ever had. We never had a problem out of the 3 we hit in different states and enjoyed so much. Comfy beds each time and very clean room each time too.
Nice front desk staff, great lobby area, nice breakfast area, the grounds were spacious, room was very clean...quiet hotel..close to Ruby Tuesdays for dinner...within walking distance....off main road so no road noise
This motel is convenient off the highway. It's a one-story building where each room has its own external door that leads right to the parking lot. If you think you'll need ice or snacks from the vending machine, you'll want to get these items earlier rather than later in the evening, as you'll have to walk alone in the dark to get there. Check-in was easy. The motel offers a standard hot breakfast in the morning. We did find a roach on the bed when we first entered our room for the night. Otherwise, the space was pretty clean.
We had a wonderful stay here at the Coach House, the check in was easy and you get to park right in front of your room. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was very comfortable. They also serve a excellent breakfast. The employees that work here are very friendly and they take pride in the work they do. We will be back.
I stayed here when in town for a dog show, and it was close to the venue, and no pet fee. I would definitely stay here if I come to town again. Although an older style of hotel, it was well kept up, very clean, and had very comfortable beds. Service was very nice and friendly, and the room was quite spacious. I did not go down for breakfast, but I heard from friends that it was nice. Although there were lots of dogs there due to the dog show in town, it was very quiet, and there was an abundance of well lit areas in which to walk your dog.
We had a large, comfortable room with all the amenities for a very reasonable cost. The bed was very comfortable, the room was very clean, and we like the parking right up to the room - much easier for older people to unload luggage.
Our room was great, nice size, with a king bed. The room was quiet, no highway noise and the bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would not hesitate to stay here if we travel this way again.
I always start here. The rooms are inviting, clean, and comfortable. The revamping of the rooms are very pleasing. The staff from front desk to cleaning are always very cheerful. The landscape is always well kept. I enjoy the patio seating outside the rooms.
Motel was very clean, staff friendly, beds were good, breakfast was great, plenty of food and the attendant made sure nothing ran out- we travel to Springfield often and this will now be where we will stay.
The room options we were given were pet friendly only rooms or a single king bed (for four people to stay in). The first room option we were given was a connected room with someone that had a dog. (not a problem, we have a dog not with us at the time) but we could hear the dog through the connected door. We arrived late and had 2 kids with and were very tired. so we asked for another room. The 2nd room we were given, was in an older part of the hotel and had a musty smell to begin with, so that was not appealing but we didn't want to switch rooms again so we decided to stay in this room. Then the guest next to us proceed to have loud sex at 1:30 in the morning, we our kids with us so we had to drown out the noise. They then left for 30 minutes and came back and were very loud again. On top of that the beds were very old and had no padding in the middle which caused my wife and I to roll toward the middle of the bed all night. Causing back and neck pain the next morning. Just over all we would have preferred the person with the dog. Breakfast was great though. They had plenty of hot and cold options. The staff was very helpful with refilling items when they ran low. Over the staff was very helpful and courteous. The grounds were very clean and even included a playground for the kids. I would not recommend this BW though because of the rooms choices and noise. Which is sad because BW are usually great and we don't ever have any problems with them. This one just needs to have the decor and beds update and it would be fine.
I am a BW member, so I have been to many BW. Branson was pretty much booked, so we stayed in Springfield. Overall, cute appearance, but it is an older motel. The curtains were disgusting ans they are no longer white, but dirty and ripped. We found a roach (left it on the bathtub for the employee), and the blinds are not longer white and haven't been dusted or cleaned in forever. Also, we could hear everything outside and I think it is because the windows are older than me. The lady who checked us in was very nice and the breakfast was good. Not sure if I would stay here again, but maybe if the rooms were deep cleaned and new windows.
Everything was typical from check in process to showers. This place really needs to upgrade its Beds and WIFI. Was told WIFI was compatible with android devices not apple. And the beds are so worn out you feel like you are sleeping in a hole. Until these things get fixed we will stay elsewhere. Although service was prompt and friendly those two issues really are a deal breaker.
Special shoutout to “Becca” at reception. She was so welcoming and helpful to this weary traveler. Great location and there is a good down home diner called “ Ziggy's” located right next door where you get a discount on your total meal cost when you show your room key. Would definitely stay here again.
Booked online, lobby smelled, hard to identify what like, but even my kids noticed .. that should've told me something but it was late, so we checked in and went to the room. I opened the door and could not breathe, it smelled of mildew so strongly I closed the door and checked back out. For anyone that suffers from allergies, I can't imagine trying to sleep there. Went to Home to suites across the street .. night and day difference. They did refund my purchase within 24 hours, and girl at front desk was very nice about the whole thing.
My wife and I have stated at this location before. It lends itself as being a nice, convenient place to stay. All the rooms are at ground level, which is a huge plus for us. It is close to eateries with a Resturant on site.
I had read the reviews telling that the rooms were clean, and we decided to stay. Price was reasonable at the lower end. After entering the motel room, we were suprised to see just how clean the room was. the bathroom was remodeled, and every corner was clean. The beds slept nice, TV worked, remote was put in a sanitary wrap. From the outside the motel room looked dated, but we would stay here again for sure.
Newly decorated rooms were clean and spacious. Hair dryer and coffee maker are always welcome. Real HD television worked well. Free cookie at check-in is a nice touch. This property is devinitely a good vallue. However, Shampoo and Bath Gel dispensers in shower didn't work, even though they appeared to be not empty. Front desk provide shampoo. Biggest inconvenience of the stay was the high speed Internet didn't work. I wound up connecting to the free Wifi from the hotel next door. This really needs to be addressed
Had a great room and the breakfast was better than most motel breakfast. Staff were helpful and very pleasent. Stayed here and drove to Branson instead of staying in Branson. The room made it worth the sxtra drive,
Fantastic location! Superb room with parking right outside your room. Super clean room with rain shower head!!! Fantastic breakfast with a well stocked fridge and buffet. I will certainly be staying here again!
The last night we stayed there Becca was our check-in clerk. She as the other 2 check-in clerks showed as much class and kindness or more than the clerks at the $300 a night hotel we had just left in Chicago earlier in the day. It is always clean comfortable and courteous ...... Thank you!!
We stopped here while traveling through the area. The desk clerk was friendly and efficient. The hotel is spread over a large area. All one story, with two swimming pools and a play area. There is an independent restaurant on site that gives a discount to hotel guests. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. This is an older hotel but they have done what they can to update the rooms. The lobby is great, the breakfast room better. It is very well laid out and the attendant is constantly cleaning, refreshing, and checking the food and the area. Great coffee machine that dispenses just what you want. There is also a coffee machine in the lobby that also dispenses lattes, cocoa and a variety of similar drinks. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area.
Clean, super nice staff, convenient location, old fashioned park in front of your room with all ground floors. I was given an upgrade so I could park more conveniently with the trailer I pull. I've stayed here twice for events in Springfield and will definitely stay again!
This would rate as one of the best hotels where I have stayed. While the hotel is of an older style, they have kept the decor up to date. The staff is very friendly and accomadating. I arrived to find they had upgraded my room to a suite because I am a Best Western Rewards member. The breakfast offered a variety of items and was spacious.
We travel to Springfield regularly to visit our kids. We can count on this hotel for a good night's sleep, great breakfast and reasonable rates. We appreciate parking right outside our room. The staff has always been friendly and service is very prompt.
The going from the interstate 44 to the motel was very simple. The check in went very quickly. This motel has to swimming pools and a play area for the kids. We have stay the 3 times this summer and there never has been a problem.
got there a bit late but still no issues, Best western does not disappoint Nice Hotel, Nice rooms, Breakfast bar only complaint printer in business center did not work would still go back ground floor room
We stopped here on the way out and on the way back from our trip. We drove 9 hours with a dog and grandma just to stay here. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs and were very friendly. The hotel is very clean and charming. I was pleasantly surprised.
My first time traveling with a dog & needing a pet-friendly hotel. The Coach House BW is darling; each unit is ground floor with a little porch, 2 chairs & a small table. Right across the lane is a large green area for dogs outfitted with doggie bags & receptacle. Before I left I reserved a spot on my return trip. Everyone is very nice & very helpful.
We stay at motels/hotels that are more for the traveling families where cost is not sky high, but the stay is good. Every time we stay at a Best Western motel we know that we have a real good chance of a good motel.
The room had an odor but for the one night and the great price and location to our destination, we decided to stay. The pool and the free breakfast included with the room rate made a nice bonus for the night that we stayed.
Although this is an older property, it is spotless, and has been meticulously maintained. Manicured grounds, crystal clear pool, and quiet surroundings make this a great bargain in Springfield. And a free, full, hot breakfast, too!
Very easy access from the highway, The Staff is amazing! There are plenty of restaurants and attractions near by. Branson is only a 45 minute drive and this Motel is a lot more reasonably priced. I would recommend this Motel to anyone and everyone.
Very nice rooms, friendly staff and would have stayed longer her if I could have worked it out. Coming back to Missouri Best Western will be my first chance hotel/motels. Loved that all the rooms had out door access and chairs right outside your room door.
This old fashioned motel with all the amenities of a modern hotel is a family favorite. Clean and up to date, it has the feel of a road trip from a half century ago. Two outdoor pools, children's playground, patio seating at each room, spacious dog walking green, and fantastic breakfast buffet keep us coming back.
This motel was very clean. Rooms, pool and lot. Handicapped bathroom shower needs re-done. Wouldn't stay on hook. Breakfast has lots of choices. Buffet style with eggs, sausage, waffles, potatoes, biscuits & gravy, etc. Cold items as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Very nice stay clean room nice pool options workout room nice free Laundry is nice for families playground was enjoyable for our children housekeeping was very helpful and pleasant and all the staff was very accommodating we will definitely stay here again!
Very nice place for the price. Wasn't really sure what to expect before we arrived as we had never traveled to Missouri. Front desk staff and housekeeping staff were so friendly. The outdoor pools were clean and very nice. The only issue was that the room smelled a little old and the bathroom was small. Would definitely stay herecagain.
Room located next to ice/vending machine room. Constant noise. Booked this room well in advance of stay and room location was noisy and remote from breakfast area.Guy walked in off the street as I was checking in and got a much more favorable room location. How is that right?
If you were lucky enough to experience the Mom-n-Pop motor courts of the 60s, this place will take you back there. One-story motel with parking outside your door, with a lovely green space in the center for play, sitting, or walking your dog. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Our room had a non-carpeted area in the rear with vinyl-type flooring which needed replacement, but otherwise this was a very nice room and a charming place overall. Hot breakfast available in the morning too.
Coach house was a very quaint place... park-like setting. I love the park at your door. Very clean, very friendly. LOVED the free Happy Hour, too! All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay there again!
Addressed a couple of issues we had, and honored our coupon. Fantastic breakfast. Pool was a great temperature. Provided a map of where our room was. All rooms at ground level. Would come again to this specific location.
Clean, quiet, comfortable! This is a great place to stay regardless of what your trip is for. Convenient to the interstate, shopping & eating! Great amenities including breakfast, happy hour & 2 pools!
I never leave reviews but made an exception now because I was blown away with the cleanliness and the staff. Every single employee was happy and looking to help make the stay as good as possible. I mean they went out of their way and all seemed to like their job and their customers also. Best staff I've seen!
This place was very clean. The people at the front desk, both morning and evening, were very personable, helpful & patient. The price was very reasonable. This hotel is right off the highway so very convenient. Had a u haul besides our car & they worked to find safe parking area.
While this hotel looks dated upon first arrival, we quickly found ourselves reminiscing about how this is a 21st century hotel with the appearance of an old fashioned motor court. The rooms were clean, seemingly recently renovated, and very well appointed. The staff were very friendly. the free laundry was most appreciated. The breakfast was superb, including a cappuccino! This hotel provides an experience reminiscent of an age long gone by, with updated amenities and great service. The only thing missing was an old fashioned post card in the information folder! Other hotels with seemingly dated building can take some lessons here as to how to provide a modern experience in an old fashioned setting.
Excellent Service. Charming Exterior. Rooms are clean. A little noisy outside. Outside entrance.I don't know what else to say. Not a big fan of surveys. I'm just doing 200 characters because that's what is required.
This is a clean and attractive facility that is well-kept. We could park in front of our room for easy access to the luggage. Everything is on ground level. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were on our way home from Colorado. This hotel had a very convenient location. Breakfast area was very clean was excellent. I would definitely come back. I really appreciated the phone call after we checked in and we were in the room. The staff asked if our room was satisfactory and if we needed anything. Thanks!
Nice, clean modern accomodations. The hotel was pet friendly and even had a doggie park. It was close to restaurants and attractions. Will defonitely stay here again and will recommend to family and friends.
The staff was friendly and the motel was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area and need a hotel. High speed internet was very good and the TV choices were adequate. We at at the restaurant on the proper and had a very good hamburger.
The room was very clean and all the employees were very friendly. The breakfast was good and plentiful. If I am ever in this town again this is where I will stay! Housekeeping kept us supplied with plenty of towels, and they were a good size, not those little ones you get at some places. We had a very good experience!
First time at this hotel and every room is ground floor where you can drive up to your room. This makes moving in very easy. I had a King Room and it was very clean and comfortable with Fridge, Microwave, coffee maker, ironing board, hair drier. Breakfast had vast selection of hot & cold items and one of the best I've had. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful. I had a couple problems with my room key getting deactivated and they took care of it right away. I'd recommend and stay here on my next visit. I noticed prior to my stay some people did not give very good reviews and I can't see why unless they are really picky and expect a 5 Stare experience.
This was our 2nd time to stop at this motel. It's really a retro style of layout. You park in front of your room, so taking your luggage to your room is easy. It's quiet and rooms are very large and comfortable. Bed slept wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. One of the nicest places we have stayed at, when you consider what you get , price , comfort and service. We booked a room for our return trip back home.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is my second stay and the room was always clean. Shopping and many restaurants within 15 minutes. 2 pools. Pet friendly. Vending machines nearby. I will definitely stay there again. I highly 5
I enjoy coming to this location, the front desk staff is always pleasant. Madison always has a smile when you walk through the doors. The rooms are great. Only downside is there is no bacon offered with the breakfast.
I need to write this review so no one else is hood winked into believing this is a nice hotel. This was listed as a 3 diamond hotel according to AAA. This is a one at best. Room smelled and there were ants in the bathroom crawling all over the toilet. In fairness to them, I did report it upon checkout and they gave me $15 off. Breakfast also was not up to par. The only good thing was the price. Look elsewhere!!
Staff was very friendly. Facilities were well maintained for an older facility. The style is a bit dated, but it didn't matter because I knew it looked as though the staff took the time to make sure everything was in working order. Even though it's located right off the highway, it was quiet. Rooms were clean. Only one minor issue with leaky shower head. Breakfast was good. There are a lot of restaurants nearby as well as a Walmart across the street in case you need something.
Springfield has a huge number of hotels. I had not been here before. But the experience was very good. Very friendly and helpful staff. Motel encompasses several different buildings with parking in front of rooms. Large eating area for breakfast, which had a good selection. Only problem I encountered was that the fan in the room with the shower made a buzzing noise, in addition to the fan; this was reported to staff. For anyone using the PC's in the lobby, very sssllllloooowww Internet speed.
Very clean motel. Helpful and friendly staff. Easy to get on and off of I44. Located on one of the main streets in Springfield. Very good breakfast in a very clean breakfast area. I would recommend this motel
Motel style - park in front of your room. Stay was sports related - motel full for MSU graduation weekend, but still plenty of parking. Breakfast room was a little tight, but for a busy Saturday it was expected. Rooms good size, comfortable beds, Thomasville furniture. Bathrooms were a little small, but very clean and lots of towels. Would stay again.
Always willing to help customers and enjoyed my stay. And Lacie went out of her way to help us with our visit. She is always polite and kinns. I see her pick up trash around the hotel. Hard worker.!!.
Always eager too please. Customers .. Have truly enjoyed our stay ..Lacie should be running the place in my opinion. She has always been quick too respond too any and all needs .. Thank you for employing her
Very friendly staff, very clean rooms and grounds, good breakfastwhich included eggs, meat, bread items and cold juice. Rooms were large and very clean, had a couch that you could use to watch tv. I would stay there again.
They've started a "happy hour" called the Manager's Reception. It's a nice touch and a wonderful idea. Good job, Mike!! I also enjoy the new art work!! Lovely!! The jacuzzi tub is, as always, very relaxing!! Thank you! I recommend you to everyone!
For the price, this was a great place to stay when we had a convention at the Oasis across the street. The carpet looked new, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom, although small, was clean and up to date.
We have stayed at this particular motel 3 times and the rooms are very nice and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is the noise you hear outside of the room, such as car doors closing, people talking but other than that it was great and we will be staying here again!
Great location. Homey feel. Playground for kids. Very good breakfast. Great desk staff. We went to Jose Loco's for dinner on their recommendation. It was very good. Our room 136 was disappointing. It smelled like stale cigarettes. The bed was okay. The manager was grateful to hear about the problem and promised to correct for future guests.
I have stayed here since the early '90's, and here is what I can say...for almost 30 years this property has stayed at a consistently high level. From the front desk staff, to the comfortable rooms, to the delicious hot breakfast, to the free cappuccino machine in the lobby, you are sure to enjoy your stay. Combine the convenience to I-44 as well as many local restaurants within walking distance, and I promise you wont be disappointed.
We arrived around 9pm to check in my boyfriend and I drive OTR for a living, been driving all day and had a hard day... however... we had the best check in experience we've had at any Best Western we've ever stayed at, the desk clerk Ricky Riggs was very helpful and pleasant. He went above the norm.to make sure we were taken care of quickly and pleasantly. We have always had a great experience staying at this particular BW in Springfield Missouri it's always clean and in a great location front desk staff is always nice, but we wanted to give a shout out for Ricky Riggs....he was awesome and we definitely will be back!
Rickey did a great job at check-in! Smooth and efficient after a long day on the road. Received a free upgrade which was super nice. Hotel is very nice and my room was great. This place is on my list to stay again!
This hotel is probably a former hotel from another brand name. Even if it is old, it is well kept and clean. Also, we can park the car in front of the room. Comfortable room and very clean. Breakfast was as usual including toast, eggs, sausage and wafles..... would return.
Great motel! Very comfortable, spacious, & clean room. Staff were very customer oriented. Appreciated the Manager's Happy Hour after a long day driving. Within walking distance to several restaurants. Very fresh, hot breakfast - biscuits melted in your mouth! Enjoyed sitting on chairs in front of room as pretty grounds. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!
The staff was nice... the breakfast was good, but both mattresses in the room were sagging in the middle. This was very easy to see. As expected, my wife and I did not rest well at all, as we were constantly trying to stay on our sides of the bed. We finally gave up and let the bed direct us to the lowest point of the sag. I made the staff aware of this after the first night and was given the opportunity to look at a couple of other rooms to see if the mattresses were in better shape. Unfortunately, neither room we were allowed to view had mattresses in better shape than the ones in our room. As a matter of fact, since this is a drive-up to your room Motel, we were able to look through the window into one of the rooms and easily spot the sagging mattresses from outside the room. To further highlight the issue, when checking out, I heard another patron complain to the staff about the mattresses in his room. The staff did not seem surprised about the complaints they were receiving.
The room was very clean...the sheets on the bed were very soft....I love that you can park your car right outside the front door...also if you had children they would enjoy the swing and the pool...the breakfast was just perfect to get us on the road...also the place is very quiet and the gardens are very well maintained...
The Best Western Coach House is close to the fair grounds where the Gourd Fest is once a year where we take classes. The motel is clean & we can park our vehicle right outside our door. The breakfast is satisfactory, the Ziggy's restaurant on property is convenient and has good food and service.
We just stayed for a quick overnight stop on our way to St. Louis the next day. The room was clean and comfortable. In the style of motor lodges from the 60s, we pulled up right in front of our room which was actually very convenient. The biggest downside was the noise. The heater/AC unit and the noise from outside was a little loud. The staff was pleasant; breakfast was okay. Always go for the waffle you make yourself if you can. Priced right for an overnight stay.
This hotel is one of the best we have stayed at. It is easy to get in and out of. It is all one level. It has great service and great staff. It is close enough to everthing in Springfield but not too close intontown to be a hassle. There are lots of restaurants nearby too.
We had a great experience with BW COACH HOUSE. We checked in quickly and were given our room right away. The rooms are nice, but because we were so far away from the lobby/breakfast area - that was a bit inconvenient. The breakfast is decent - and the gal that was working the breakfast area was doing a great job and was very pleasant. This is a motel style place, as you're parking right in front of your room - with a small patio outside of the door - it was very comfortable! We would stay here again.
The front desk clerk were super friendly!! They had me checked in and in my room within minutes. The rooms are roomy and clean with a great shower. The bed was super comfortable. I will definitely stay again!!
Everything from then time you are greeted by the Friendly Efficient Front Desk until checkout was fabulous! Room was clean and comfortable and you can park in front of the room you are staying in. The Free Breakfast was a real breakfast..eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc not just cereal and donuts! Great price also.
The room was just a room. Nothing special. Both queen mattresses were old and worn out. The room had a very strong and odd odor. It was just a room. The building is old and needs serious renovation...
The room is very clean & comfortable but not upscale. Everything works and the controls are clean. The staff is excellent, front desk & food service. Very convenient location with a minimum of road noise.
We enjoy this hotel, it's close to many restaurants in walking distance. Walmarts across the street, There are gas stations close by. Zippy restaurant is on the lot and good food. They are pet friendly!!
This was a pleasant surprise for our stayin Springfield. We love the outside entrances to the rooms and they were clean and quiet. There seemed to be space around the front door that could have caused problems with heating or cooling, but the weather was not at any extremes. The only downside was the grassy area was not cleaned and full of animal feces, not too clean for animals to wander in.
This is a motor hotel. You can park right in front of your door. Surprisingly quiet. We did have to change rooms because the first one they gave us had a heating unit that did not work. They switched us to a room with a heater that worked. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good.
Too tired to get to Branson we just wanted a place to rest for the night. This filled the bill. This modest one story laid back hotel was clean and conveniently located. Nathan at the front desk made check in a breeze. Great price too.
Enjoyed this Best Western. It was clean, nicely decorated, with free breakfast and a good fitness room to work out in. WIFI could've been a bit faster but it was adequate for what I needed. Good location also.
Great find. Nice, clean room. Great variety at breakfast. Friendly staff. North part of town. Close to interstate. Great lobby and sitting area. Small fitness area. 20-30 min to south Springfield in traffic
Just stayed one night as my flight got in kind of late so I didn't want to drive 2 hours to my destination so late. Check in was quick and easy. The staff was very nice. This is a motel type setting, where you park right outside your room. The room was very nice, large with a king size bed and a sofa. Wifi worked great. Location is great. Close to places to eat. Room had a fridge and microwave. Being a desert rat from Phoenix, I appreciate the low flow toilet. I'm a huge advocate for saving water. Breakfast the next morning was good. Lots of choices with eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, cereal. Location was quiet. I recommend this place to anyone.
I recently flew to MO to attend a funeral. It was wonderful to be at such a sweet hotel during a tough trip. The staff are friendly, the rooms were so clean (and nicely decorated). Even the breakfast was enjoyable. I was very impressed with this hotel and I do not understand why is has lower ratings. My friends and I were all impressed with our stay. The staff even grabbed an extra blanket for me even though it was after 10pm at night.
This is an excellent example of a good Best Western. The check in was quick. The room was very nice with a stand up counter and stool for applying makeup in good lighting. It also had a large bathroom. The breakfast was very good with eggs, sausage, potatoes, cereal, biscuits, waffles, cake, pastry, toast, juice, coffee and cocoa. I will definitely stay there again when in Springfield.
We were very disappointed in this best western hotel. Looked at the ratings and it stated 4 star rating, although I realized it is not probably your standard 4 star we thought it would be respectable however it is old old old, it is not a Best Western PLUS. I can only assume it gets the ratings it does because it accepts pets but even with that in mind this is a 2 star at best. As stated previously everything is old, no renovations or reinvestment into the property. I would not stay there again.
This property is so welcoming sandwiched between high rise hotels. Checkin was easy and very friendly . Love that you can park right in front of ur room. Very clean room no outside noise even though in city centre. They offer a small dog walking area outside the frontdoor. Breakfast was good had everything that we needed to start our long drive. Would tell anyone to stop here and stay.
We planned a trip to Springfield for a little get away to celebrate an anniversary, see some museums, and pick up an order from Grizzly Tools. When looking for a place to stay, we chose BW Coach House for not only its great location in town but also the positive reviews. We got not only those two but also got a great value. While not all flashy, the place was clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Our accessible room was too far from the main building for walking so we drove there both mornings. The room was clean and laid out nicely. The only issue we had with the room was the commode was standard height, not handicapped. I did mention this to the staff so in future remodels this can be corrected. As BW rewards members, we were very pleased and recommend this property.
I always enjoy this property! Very nice grounds and clean rooms!! And relaxing hot tubs!! The manager is excellent. I believe his name is Mike? Awesome guy! The staff is friendly. They have a cappuccino machine in the lobby. Nice touch.
My husband and I travel several times a year for vacations and to visit friends and family. We find that Best Western hotels are reliably clean, comfortable and have a great breakfast. We believe the Best Western value is consistently better than other similarly priced hotels. The fact that Best Western inspects its hotels on a regular basis is probably a big part of this reliability. Since we travel often, we appreciate that we can find a Best Western in most locations, and the points program adds to the value we receive. We look for a Best Western hotel as our first choice.
We stayed overnight with our dog, and were very pleased with our stay at the Coach House. It was convenient to Hwy 44, reasonably priced, clean, had a restaurant next door with good food and reasonable prices, Staff was very friendly, there's a full breakfast included, there is an area to walk your dog, and you can park right in front of your room. I would definitely stay there again.
Ours was a one night stay on road trip...left my bicycle on car in front of room...came out in AM and bike gone...not an easy task, but obviously someone who had nerve and took the time to figure out how to get bike from rack...very likely a thief who checks out the property regularly for thefts...not the first time for this guy... so now i have no bike for the rest of trip but i do have a new awareness of how careful you have to be with possessions when travelling....more locks and chains for sure!
I have been staying at this location for business for about 3 years. The staff is always friendly and most of them know me when I walk-in. Very clean I love being able to park in front of my door since I am there on business then If I need something I can just step out and get it. Would recommend this to everyone. Don't judge a hotel just because you park in front of your door!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Love that we could park right in front of our room and not haul our luggage into a larger building, but still enjoy a quality hotel room (unlike most motels). Breakfast was good. Room was large with refrig/micro and desk. Good internet. Very comfortable bed. We used Priceline Express Deals and got a very low rate.
Very Friendly Staff,Clean Rooms,Good Food,Great Internet,Nice Selection On TV,Housekeeping Keeps Rooms Clean and Fresh,Workout Equipment, Nice Pools, Nice amenties in room fridge, microwave, coffee maker and hair blower.
As the skies darkened a bed was needed . The receptionist was very welcoming and upgrade me when she realized I wanted a non smoking room .It's a very busy area lots of traffic noise , rooms are all on one level , so you can park your vehicle a Outside your room . The rooms are always similar at the B w chain, older rooms that have been tidied up . Clean and orderly . Breakfast was pleasant with a fair variety to choose from. They kindly offer a free laundry room service (2 machines ) get in first or forget it .
Stopped for one night en route to our final destination. My husband and I enjoyed our stay and felt it was a great value for the comfort and amenities. It was nice to park outside of our room. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. They offer a very nice hot breakfast with many options. (Applebees is across the street for dinner.) We were so happy that we made a point of staying again on our way home. We dealt with Ricky at the front desk both times, and he was a pleasure to work with!!
Stopped here for one night on our way south, after checking Trip Advisor reviews. It looks to be quite a large complex. Yes, it WAS nice parking right outside our door. It was an older style but we got a great price and the staff was welcoming. The beds were comfortable. We found it awkward not having room to put anything down in the bathroom itself. There was quite a nice counter outside the bathroom but that wasn't exactly convenient, and the mirrored door on the closet meant you didn't really want to leave the bathroom door open unless you wanted to exhibit yourself to the rest of the room's inhabitants. But, for one night's stay, we did get a good night's sleep and our money's worth. One great thing is, we only had about a 20-minute drive down the road to get to Lambert's restaurant, home of throwed rolls.
Grounds very dirty with cigarette butts all around. The room came with no shower curtain and a light bulb was out. Went to check out early at five a.m. and nobody would answer the door, and two seedy people at the door there also. The overall cleanliness is poor and not very professional in upkeep. Have been using this motel for a few years now and cannot recommend this place any longer. Look for another motel in the area. We will not stay here again.
This is a motel that you can park in front of your room. Older motel but well.maintained. It could use a little updating but it was clean & quiet. The coffee was great & breakfast was good. The employees were very helpful & pleasant. I would stay there again.
Stayed here 5 nights while at a conference near Springfield, MO. Room was nicely decorated & furnished, but sound from room next door (I was in #153) was disturbing. Ziggies restaurant next door had good selection, & all you can eat specials, all very reasonably priced. I liked the fried catfish breaded in cornmeal. Convenient to I-44 & State Hwy 65; Branson shows less than an hour away.
I've stayed many times at the other Best Western hotel that is similar in style, the Route 66, and this is close second, but not to their standard yet. It is much larger and is definitely worth the money. More centrally located, but the rooms are a bit tired in both decor and maintenance. It is very quiet, and we stayed in a room at the very back of the motel, with our own table and chairs outside, a very nice touch to be able to sit outside. Plenty of parking. The breakfast is large and there is actually a lot of room to eat, so no waiting. Large comfortable Lobby and friendly staff. It just seems to have a bit of an identity crisis, is it supposed to be a vintage kitschy place, like the route 66, or is it a new modern place with all of the amenities. Pick one, it can easily be either. I will definitely stay here again, identity crisis aside!
This is an older (courtyard) style property that offers the convenience of parking at your door. No elevators here because none are needed. Located close to the Interstate, restaurants, shopping (Walmart across the street) and Rt 66 sites, the location is quite convenient. We were upgraded to a poolside room that offered the pleasant feature of having its own patio area. The room was clean, of a good size and had plenty of lighting and wall outlets for charging laptops, or whatever. Breakfast was varied with hot and cold items sufficient for all but the most picky...er, "selective"... eaters. One very nice feature, although not mentioned on the website, was the free laundry for guests to use. Yep, you read that right, I said "free". There are not one, but two combo washer/dryers at no charge in the room adjoining the workout equipment. Combine all the features mentioned, a very friendly and attentive staff and then factor in the room rates and I think you'll agree that this property presents an exceptional value for your travel dollar. We would stay here again without any hesitation, which is about the highest recommendation we could give.
The hotel was very pleasant, especially considering the low nightly rate. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious and there were many choices. My only complaint is that the room could have used a more thorough cleaning-- dirt and dust in corners and behind beds. The playground and green area is small but a nice amenity that you do not find very often. Overall the stay was pleasant and I would stay there again.
My overall opinion is that the BW Plus Coach House was a great value for the money. The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast had something for everyone, with great coffee! I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, and would recommend it highly!
The front desk is very helpful and welcoming even with a dog. They have a bowl with dog treats in it at the front desk. My room was very clean, there is a very nice grassy area with trees and benches to take a walk and sit with your pet. It's an older style motor lodge...pull up right in front of your room! The rooms have been updated with flat screen Tvs and comfortable mattresses. The hot breakfast was very good as well. Safe clean comfortable AND pet friendly.
We stayed one night at this hotel and were favorably impressed with it. It's actually an older style motel with single story buildings but that has been updated with newer amenities. The free hot breakfast the next morning was adequate though not extravagent.
All the staff were wonderful ! The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay again & recomemd it to others. Location is also handy : ) The breakfast items and varities were wonderful. The pool was setup nicely & if you are traveling with children a park area is next to the gated pool area.
This hotel is very clean and the rooms are worth the price. The staff is also very professional and polite and siblings to help or answer questions if needed. If your needing a place that is pet friendly, allows smoking in some rooms and easy to get to, then check this hotel out.
We stayed here for 2 nights. Checkin was quick and painless. Our first night we checked in well after 11 p.m. the gentleman at the front desk was great. We had an issue with the microwave in our room and he came almost immediately and swapped it out. Although during the duration of our stay we realize that a lot of our wall sockets did not work in our room. This was not a big deal at all because there is a charging station on the desk. The second night we ended up calling the front desk and they gave great suggestions on food. The gentleman really seem to know the area, excellent customer service. The pool was open late which was great for the kiddos. However house keeping over looked a lot of details. We only noticed when my son spilled some water on the tile and when I went to wipe it up with the paper towel it was nearly black. Other than that it was a great place for the price.
The motel is very old, it has very little updates to the rooms. We would not stay here again or recommend. Easy to get to, just off interstate but you may want to book something a little more updated.
This place is a family haven. It has two pools and a pretty nice looking playground. Fortunately, my kids are grown so it was just me and my husband partying down and living the life we always knew we could. The motel is a little quaint. The room was super clean. There seemed to be a small issue with wall outlets near the bed but we just unplugged that pesky alarm clock and made it work. We only had breakfast once but the attendant was very sweet and attentive to the area. She kept it stocked and very clean. This is an issue that may not affect very many people, but there were ample pillows. None of this 3 pillows for two people shenanigans these other hotels pull. I was very happy with this motel.
Have stayed here before and felt it was comfortable and well maintained, good breakfast and easy to get to, Quality was just as good as previous stats. Comfy beds, air conditioning a little difficult to control, blew really strong on person sleeping closest to it, but we were able to block it with pillows.
Wow, this was like 2 hotel motels combined into 1 and it was really nice. I had my doubts before we got there but the rooms were really nice, the staff was awesome and thank you to Jasmine for your excellent CUSTOMER SERVICE to our HOG chapter family. We really enjoyed the stay with you. We ate at Applebee's across the street. There are 2 swimming pools on the property. We had a King Suite with a patio, table and chairs over looking one of the swim pools at ground level with sliding glass door.
When we saw the price for a night's stay we were sure the place would be a dump as it's been 30 years since we've paid these rates for a hotel. We were needing a last minute hotel night over a Holiday weekend and we were very pleasantly surprised at the accomodations. The staff were also friendly, welcoming, and very accomodating. We had better service here than at hotels where we have paid double or triple the fees for a one-night stay. The breakfast bar wasn't the greatest, but the room was excellent and clean, the beds very comfortable, and access to the rooms is great. The only drawback was that they allow pets (though we stayed in a no pet room) and many of the guests had dogs with them while traveling the night we were there and those dogs were up and barking fairly early the next morning. Not much they could do about that. Still had a great night's sleep, especially for the price. It's far from perfect, but it is definitely a place worth staying if you are looking to pay about half the price for a stay anywhere else. Easy access to the Interstate.
I have been using this hotel for the past year for stays when i am in the area. The price is right, the hotel is clean, the hotel staff are friendly and accommodating, and the location is central to the freeway.
First and foremost - the staff here is terrific! Front desk folks were energetic and friendly. Housekeeping and the kitchen folk were clearly working hard. And the maintenance staff were great (thanks for the light bulb and the help when the tv cable went out). And I super loved the free washer and dryer!!! That was absolutely the icing on the cake for me. Thank you for that. And we were given a great king room which was so appreciated. However, excellence is in the details and those details seemed to be lacking. When that happens it is clear the place needs a stronger management overview. We had no shampoo but lots of conditioner. When I got hold of shampoo - obviously new bottles not used yet- the next day housekeeping cleaned them up and replaced them with new conditioners. It was obvious we didn't need replacements yet that kind of eye for detail wasn't part of their instruction. (I've cleaned rooms like these and so I have a bit of an idea what goes into it.) When I went to get more shampoo, they were out. An order hadn't come it. This points to improvement needed in management efficiency. The staff clearly are working hard but the structure in which they work may not be as supportive as it needs to be for them to do their job well. I also didn't see any options for guests to choose to be environmentally conservative with towels/sheet washing. There were recycle bins in the lobby but no where else. There were no posters or notices in the rooms about their policies. Their breakfast was OK. I think minor things could make it fantastic - like stronger coffee and better yogurts, fresher breakfast meats- they are right across the street from Walmart and perhaps some investment in their breakfast selection (yogurts, fruits, pastries, etc.) could be easily instituted. Even if they instituted a breakfast voucher program like the Best Western in Thousand Oaks the food would be higher quality and enjoyed more. Communication needs some strengthening: We had two parts to our reservation - one paid in points and one in cash- however, when the front desk called one night to ask if we were checking out the next day, and we informed them we were staying on but not on points, we were never informed we had to check out/check in to continue our stay. The next day while dealing with a family matter, we received a call asking us if we were planning to check out. It was a little confusing, especially during a stressful time. Again this points to management structure and communication systems, not staff doing their jobs. Our room was fine - I did see complaints in reviews about the shoddiness. I found the room fixtures to be old-school and workable. Did wish there were more plugs but we made do and were fine. The bed was fine - husband is a former mattress salesman so again some expertise in this area. Their workout room is simple and small and nobody was ever in it while we were there. They have an "assault" bike, basic treadmill and an elliptical that was pretty challenging! They also have free weights (5, 10, 15, 20). I very much appreciated that. They have 2 pools but we were so busy we didn't get a chance to enjoy them. They looked lovely. The hotel is pet friendly which is a big draw - and I enjoyed meeting all the dogs in the morning. This could be a gem on the strip of hotels with a bit of effort - better management so staff can do their jobs well and upgrade of food and coffee.
Old and no frills for a "plus". Furniture and lamps old, being garage sale variety. Some didn't even work. Front porch was dirty with cigarette butts--definitely needed maintenance. There's a musty smell when entering the room. Mattress dipped and there weren't enough plugs.
It is a first class place you will not be disappointed if you stay here. Great Breakfast and overall one of the cleanest. It is easy to get in and out of the place no matter which way you might want to go. I always stay their when I'm in town.
The room was clean. The wifi was great. The room had extra towels. Breakfast was good. The location was great too. Just down the street from my son's college and across the street from Walmart. It made getting through the night with my younger 2 boys very nice.
We stayed overnight here while going to Branson. Check in was quick by friendly desk people. It is a drive up to your room motel which is nice. Our room wasn't huge but it filled our needs for a place to sleep. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The kids loved the outdoor pool. It has a pleasant open area in the middle where people were walking their dogs. Breakfast was good. They had run out of apple juice but were trying to fill in with bottles from the small store. It is near many restaurants. You can easily walk to some. I would stay again if I am in this area.
Some people decided to have a party outside our room until 11 PM and was so loud. We had to yell at them and then they moved the party down a couple rooms. Then when we got our credit card statement they double billed us. Like we stayed 2 nights and we didn't. We tried calling them and they won't answer the phone now. DON'T STAY HERE!
We called in from the road ahead and had dinner reservations at Lamberts.Really in a hurry, but staff took the reservation over the phone, as soon as I walked in stating I called, Staff said, we have everything ready,, the Front Desk clerk stated, the looked up my rewards via e-mail after we hung up and we are good to go. All rooms were 1st floor, parking was right in front of the Room, we where in and out.. After returning, it was so nice, sitting outside the room (Table and chairs are in front of each Room). Great hotel, nice friendly staff, 2 pools certainly can recommend this Hotel
Arrived here late evening on a Friday after driving all day from Texas. Other hotels a little closer to the hiway were all booked up , but we finally saw the Best Western nestled between two major motels. They had a room left and quickly set us up in a very clean and accomidating room. The beds were oh so comfortable and we were dying for some rest. After a good nights rest, we were treated to an excellent continental breakfast. It was delicious and the lady making it was very attentive to keeping everything filled up. We would not hesitate to stay here again, hopefully with a little more time to enjoy a beautiful property!!!
Pet owners traveling through Springfield should consider staying at Best Western Coach House Inn. All things considered, value and safety are combined with convenience and service at this motel. I traveled recently through Springfield with a friend and our new puppies. We were able to walk the dogs in the evening without worry, and the one level layout of the motel made getting into and out of the room easier.
Without a doubt the worst Best Western we have ever stayed in. Apparently the reservation agent and an error with our booking and when we arrived the clerk checking us in was not to happy about it. Not a friendly person at all. We had to extend our trip because of car problems and being stranded 2 hours away and would be unable to made it back in time for the 11 a.m. Check out. Front desk only comment was
I stay at motels nation-wide 200 nights a year. I always look to BW as my preferred choice. Truly, the BW Plus Coach House is my favorite motel anywhere. The old-school unit with front door parking combined with first-class accommodations and a great adjoining restaurant is a home run for me. Little things like the complimentary laundry facilities adjacent to the exercise room and breakfast room, make for a comfortable stay.
I always stay at the Best Western when I am in Springfield, MO. The staff is efficient, professional, and courteous. I always enjoy the breakfasts. This time I took advantage of one of the pools and sat in the swing a couple of evenings.
We pulled in here for the night on our family trip and a enroute the long drive from Milwakee to Houston. Conveniently located off the route 44. Although, we arrived quite late close to midnight, the staff were very helpful and quickly checked us in. Nice little hotel, all in ground floor. Not a very old as the name says, but meets your budget. Quiet and comfortable with friendly staff. Hot breakfast with many option.
This hotel was a wonderful gem!! It was quiet, clean, and quaint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They had a wonderful area to walk dogs. There was also play area for kids. This hotel was the perfect place and the perfect price. I will be staying here in the future.
This hotel is on historical Route 66 and is right off of the interstate. I?t is near restaurants and was a decent stay. We were in town for a baseball tournament and needed a decent, affordable place to stay. The room was updated and parking right in front of our room was nice. I?t is definitely nostalgic. The room was a bit dark with little natural light. I?t wouldn't be my first choice next time I'm in Springfield...but I?t wouldn't be the worst thing to have to stay there again.
Pools were dirty. When reported, maintenance did make effort to fix the problem. Room was full of ants. When reported, maintenance didn't really do much other than spray a little ant spray on the nigh stand. Talked to other guests who had same problem with ants. Shower head was not adjustable, was too high, and most of the water hit the back of the shower.
This hotel reminded us of the old motels along the highway with rooms lined up side by side on one level. The lobby was nice and large and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Rooms were updated and modern. Comfy beds with lots of good pillows. Bathroom was small but adequate. Two outdoor pools and a play area that our grandsons enjoyed. It was a nice change from the high rise hotels. Would definitely stay there again. We didn't eat breakfast there but the coffee was great.
Traveling on Route 66 my husband wants classic motels, I want clean and modern. This place was both. He could park in front of the room in that classic motel style. The rooms were immaculate, the staff was friendly and helpful. They didn't charge to use the laundry facilities. Breakfast was a fabulous buffet - everything worked for both of us.
Traveling Route 66, needed a place for the night, called the historic Best Western in town, the pointed us to this one (needed laundry, the other one didn't have it). Quick check-in, friendly staff, great room (really like traditional drive-up rooms when on a road trip), clean, comfortable, all the right amenities in good working order, restaurant & pool on premises (though didn't use either this time), good night's sleep on a comfortable bed, good complimentary breakfast. Also - while doing laundry (free - no need to dig for quarters! - a nice touch), sat in the lobby, and leafed through a coffee table book on 60 years of Best Westerns. A rather interesting read on the history of early long-distance travel, the various "auto camps" that evolved into motel chains, Best Western as a cooperative of individually owned motels rather than a franchise (always new there was a reason I liked them). And, did I mention - just off Route 66.
This hotel is older and all on one level with outside doors but is immaculate inside, the service was great, and we will definitely be staying here again the next time we passed through. We had absolutely no problems at all and like this hotel.
Clean and comfortable, slept well with plenty of pillows. Room was well stocked. Large refrigerator for this size room. Great price with Walmart across the street. Small table and chairs outside the room.
We picked this hotel as it was close to the underground caves that you can visit. The motel is very conveniently located off the highway and the staff at the front desk were very courteous and friendly. The room we had was very nice and the beauty is you park your car right at your front door. This was a very comfortable overnight stay and I would definitely recommend this motel.
Nostalgic property in the spirit Rt.66 Motor Hotels. Staff, to a person, took their time to inquire and listen to how my visit was going. Park in front of the room and stroll the open grounds to a nice breakfast. Located near the attractions but be aware of some road work at Hwy.44
This was a very nice place. When we arrived we were given a small, dark gloomy room. We went back and the front office and kindly gave us another room. It was very clean, and spacious. Three things that were annoying: the faucet handles, they were put on backwards, the walls are too thin and the entrance to the rooms were never cleaned. Breakfast was excellent. Great coffee.
First trip to Springfield. I decided to stay here. I was not sorry. This motel is great! You park right in front of your room. Our room had a private patio. Check in was quick easy. The staff is very friendly. I would stay here again.
This place is an actual 1 story motel where you can park right in front of your room, don't have to get a luggage cart to get your belongings to your room, and, best of all,no one above you that you can hear, and feel, walking or jumping around!! The room we had was clean, quiet and comfortable. The only suggestion would be some higher wattage light bulbs, room was kind of dark. There is an outdoor pool that, due to the weather,we did not use but looked to be well maintained. There's also a play ground for kids.Several restaurants near by and Wal Mart across the street. One thing, and this is in no way Best Western's fault, be aware that there is road construction with lane closures on the street (Glenstone Ave.) that the hotel is on.Can be tricky finding your way in and out, just have to be aware and be careful. All in all, this is a very nice property and I would stay again and recommend it to anyone.
Only complaints are pool was not heated and the playground was small and dated but overall, the room was clean, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was yummy, the price for the room was very reasonable and our stay was enjoyable! Would stay here again!
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Our stay was ok until we realized we had left two items in the hotel closet. My husband called twice to see if the cleaning person had turned in the items. They said no. I tried to leave a message for the manager to talk about the the issue but no one called us back. We decided to stop back by the hotel on our way back home from Branson. That is when they decided to go check the room again because they would not do it before because other guests were in the room. If the cleaning staff would have done there job we would have gotten our items returned. No one at the property has called us back. Lesson learned don't leave your items in this hotel because you won't get them back. I will not return to this hotel just for the simple lack of any customer service.
The weekend we stayed in Springfield a lot of hotels were sold out. This was one of very few that offered the type of room we were looking for. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I sure wasn't expecting what we got! To start with, this was by far the cleanest, best-maintained hotel room we have had in a long time! The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows (6 per queen!), a cozy armchair/ottoman, large desk with plenty of places to plug things in, free WiFi, mini fridge/microwave (also clean!), lots of lighting, & my personal favorite- a ceiling fan!! Breakfast was another wonderful surprise with just about anything you could think of! The hot foods (scrambled eggs, sausage links, potatoes, biscuits & gravy) were constantly being replenished. There was a make you own waffle station, a variety of breads, pastries, cereals, juices, water, tea, coffee & milk. The staff was great, the hotel was just quiet & felt safe. I would absolutely choose this hotel again!
My wife and I decided to stay here on our way to Arizona and this hotel was fantastic. All of the staff members were friendly and helpful. We paid a fair price here. Out of about 10 hotels that are right in this area, this hotel is by far the best choice. Our room was big and spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were fresh and clean. The hotel is easily accessible from I-44 at Exit 80. And there are several stores and restaurants nearby for added convenience. We will definitely stay here again
Great place to stay. Friendly staff. Great location. We have stayed here many times in the past and have already made our reservation for our next years stay. The breakfast wasn't the best in the world but was fast and free.
We just had one night here on our US driving holiday en route to elsewhere. It's a bit like a motel with single storey buildings with parking outside. We got a very good rate with a voucher. Very easy to find from Interstate. Staff friendly and helpful. Place was clean and comfortable, very nice complementary breakfast and a nice evening meal in diner next door. All you could want from an Interstate stop.
Nice location clean comfortable great staff. Kind of a retro experience with modern convinces. Courteous staff, good breakfast. We were in Springfield for a car show that we come to every year, always stay here.
My wife and I recently stayed at Best Western Coach House. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice it was. It reminds me of the older Motel type inns. The rooms were very modern and good size. Everything was clean and updated. The staff was very friendly both at check in and check out. We did have the breakfast and it was very complete and tasty. It included eggs, sausage, juices, coffee and more. I would definitely stay at this motel if we are in the area again.
Always stay with Best Western . Safe, clean, friendly and comfortable. The people are always very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay better. This time I didn't have my dogs with me but most Best Westerns are pet friendly.
Mote grounds were very clean, with a good location to freeways, restaurants and quick shopping. Staff made it very clear about their pet and no smoking policies in the rooms. My room was clean, smoke free and very comfortable.
This is an old motor inn (doors to rooms open to the parking lot) but it has been totally redone and the rooms are really nice. Free breakfast was ok, eggs and sausage not just bagels and cereal, but obviously microwaved, not gourmet (but what do you expect for free). I'd stay here again.
We stay here alot for business purposes It's a great place to stay very retro Route 66 vibe with all the modern amenities but what makes it the best is the staff each one of them I guarantee you won't be dissatisfied a fun place to stay
The rooms are very clean and cute. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. The general manager is helpful and nice! I am unable to recall any other names, but the staff were all helpful and great. I highly recommend this hotel!
Stay here if you don't have any other choice. Cheap price but bad beds, so-so breakfast (lacking a lot of choices) and staff is not well trained but friendly. Room had ants and the maid would take dirty towels but no replace them.
Pet friendly; clean rooms all on ground level w/parking right outside room door. Quiet & convenient; great staff. Nothing exciting about breakfast, but good & opens early. Will most definitely stay again.
Thank you for a great stay in Springfield. Our room was clean- the bed was amazing. Best nights sleep that I have had in a while. The staff was so friendly and they each stopped and talked to us and our dog.
Been here many times, beds and pillows easily the best in my travels around the country. Staff is always very nice, breakfast is handled very well and is freshened up right to the end of the breakfast time.
This motel is unusual now as all rooms are at ground level and drive up and modern. Reception is good, and rooms are of good size I had a room with a private patio and deck to sit at the front, so sunshine all day if you want it. There is a cafe on site which does breakfast all day, and you can walk to Applebys which is just across the road if you want more. Beds and pillows were good as was the internet. My only unhappyness was that room I had looked out at the trash area and the employees parking area ( 201 ) This needs attention and some serious screening from the premium rooms. Having said that it is great value for money and a must if you are in the area.
We usually stay at a more “upscale” brand in Springfield, but due to a golf tournament in the area, many of the higher priced hotels were sold out. Our good fortune! The Best Western Plus Coach House is an older style one story motor court. We liked parking at our door! The room was clean, the bed comfy, the breakfast good ( typical free breakfast fare) and the staff friendly! The standard room rate is reasonable, but with the AAA discount, it's even a better deal! We'll stay here again!!
The pictures of the room were right on. We were pleased that we could get a recliner in the room for my disabled husband and close to the front of the hotel. Yes there was some traffic noise but it quieted down and we were quite happy with the room, beds, extra pillows, fresh smell, and updated amemities The breakfast was quite good in taste and selection and the girl working kept it clean and well stocked. We would stay again if traveling this way. Great Job staff!!
Coach House was a convenient stop on our road trip to Texas. Room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of dining choices in the immediate area for evening meal. Breakfast was nice--well prepared, hot and nicely presented. Staff was friendly at check-in.
Stayed with Best Western over 60 times in the last year. This time was probably the best stay I've experienced so far. Made my reservation online, checked in early and Madison at the front desk was able to accommodate. She was extremely friendly and professional. Madison was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She offered me an upgrade due to my rewards status. I was surprised because this was the first best western to do that for me. Room was clean and very comfortable. Hotel is close to restaurants and shops. Thank you for the pleasant stay.
Will continue to make this our first choice when traveling through Springfield, MO, The location is very good and has parking for a trailer, when we are usually pulling. The front desk staff is very pleasant, and the housekeeping staff was so efficient they left a note for us.
This is out go to place to stay when in Springfield. Lovely grounds, clean rooms, friendly pleasant staff and very comfortable beds. Breakfast has a good selection of foods. Easy access off the interstate.
The hotel is nice and have stayed before. This room was small with two queen beds. The sink was in the bathroom so it was a little harder to get two adults and a kid ready at the same time. For breakfast there were hot foods, cereal, toast, yogurt to choose. We ate breakfast the first morning, but did not the second morning. The quality of the food has declined over the past year. I would stay again because of the price, location, cleanliness of hotel and friendliness of the staff.
Vintage motel restored to perfection. The City was building a parking garage right next door in the middle of the night but that was not the Hotel's fault. Amazing clean rooms, the BEST breakfast ever anywhere. Nice front desk employees, accommodating and friendly. ZERO issues or complaints! That is also AMAZING! We had no problems with vandalizing but the motel might consider a security guard until these issues get resolved.
We loved this motel, our spacious room, and the staff at the front desk. Especially we enjoyed the large area for playing, grilling, and eating. The many chairs outside the rooms were inviting for "people watching." The lodging was built some time in the last couple of decades but had been refurbished to meet today's expectations. If you long for the motel of old and yet want the conveniences of the new, we suggest stopping at this motel. By the way, a typical complimentary breakfast is offered and an exercise room. Though the rooms are numbered as though there are three floors, there is only one floor in each of the three buildings. I suggest Building 1 because it is closer to the office, laundry room, breakfast area, and the office. Being seniors we were given the senior rate, which we felt was an excellent value.
My son and I visited Springfield recently and stayed one night at this facility. Our room was clean, but the location was horrible as our car was vandalized during our stay. When I called the front desk to report I was told they knew about the situation and all they could do was give me the number of the police department to file a report for insurance. Nobody from the hotel came to check on us or to offer to help us clean up our cars so we could travel home. My son had to use a rag and trash can from the room to clean the seats so we could sit in them. Our money was refunded for our stay, but we were told there weren't surveillance cameras in the part of the hotel where we stayed. Our car was one of four to be vandalized that night. I had to drive home 4 hours without a window as no repair shops were open that day. The hotel has yet to call to check on our family to make sure we arrived home safely. I think this company should give us vouchers for the money I will be out to fix my car that was parked on their property.
Great experience at the Best Western Plus Coach House in Springfield, Missouri, they had everything we needed in a warm and welcoming atmosphere, having the laundry room was a real life saver with all those uniforms, and even the little things like having us well supplied with water bottles...so thoughtful!
This hotel has the absolute best staff ice ever interacted with. Breakfast was good and the rooms clean. They let us use the laundry room after hours to was basketball jerseys for the next days game. Just a top notch place to stay. Our entire team is rebooking here for next year's nNatinal tournament.
Room was very small but very clean. The location is kind of loud. There is a private residence near the back of the hotel and the dogs were barking all night long. The hotel wasn't crowded so we were able to have one of the quieter rooms in the back. Otherwise, there would have been a ton of street noise. In-room heater was loud, too.
My husband, myself, and my 92 year old mother stayed here on our way home from Arizona to Illinois after visiting my brother and his wife. Since we go frequently and only stay for 1 quick night at a time we don't like to spend a lot of money. This hotel was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced - our 3 most important prerequisites. We got a handicapped room this time because my mother gets up so often in the night to use the bathroom. This bathroom was big enough for her walker and easy for her to use without help. We liked not having far to carry our luggage since we parked right outside our room. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there was lots of variety at breakfast. We would be happy to stay here again.
Things I liked: Very comfortable beds, park in front of your room, excellent wi-fi, very good value Things I didn't like: No tabletop electrical outlets, shower curtain bar incorrectly installed (it's curved but mounted too far inside the shower), bathtub surface VERY slick
Very well located hotel. Close to Walmart Supercenter, restaurants, and just a 20 min. away from the Springfield Airport. Everybody, from the front desk, to the maintenance, the breakfast attendants and the housekeeping personnel were very friendly and attentive. The thermostat in our room was not working and was fixed right away. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hot breakfast exceeded our expectations (scrambled eggs, sausage, make your own waffles with your choice of syrup, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal with your choice of toppings, yogurt, cereal, fruit, bread and pastries). From now on, this is our "go to" hotel when we're visiting the area.
Great stay for the price and pretty close to Bass Pro Shop and Outdoors Museum! Great food next door, I loved the walleye. Excellent restaurants very close by for everyone's tastes and also shopping nearby.
This Best Western is our favorite. We travel back and forth from Wheeling Illinois to Chino Valley Arizona at least twice a year sometimes more and we always try to time our road trip to stay at Best Western, Coach House, Springfield on our way out and back. The staff has always been professional, friendly, informative and helpful. The breakfast room is so very nice and we really like it .The breakfast is good and staff is helpful and very nice. This is one of our favorite Best Western's. The price of rooms is very reasonable for the quality of service received. We would recommend this Best Western to anyone looking for great quality and service.
I love this hotel. I've stayed at several places in Springfield on business trips and they are the best. The ambiance of the property is so quaint and has a romantic feel. The rooms are clean and comfortable and updated with unique fixtures. The staff is great from the front desk to housekeeping. Ziggi's cafe is right next to it and they have amazing food. About the only negative to this Best Western is the breakfast offerings. Very carb laden and “cheap” quality. If they could add some fresh fruit, higher quality breads, juices and pastries, it would definitely improve the entire experience.
Stayed 2 nights. Great value for the money. Staff really were super! From the time we arrived until we left, the staff were cordial and helpful. The motel is animal friendly with minimal charges for my dog.
Very friendly staff and spacious rooms for the price! I was very pleased that we could park outside our rooms to come and go as we needed. All the staff and housekeeping was great with us and our needs. Loved them! The location was actually perfect for us as I was there for my daughter's wedding. Walmart was across the road, close to highway and lots of great restaurants. My only complaint was the noise from construction next door and that breakfast hours be extended past 9am.
Generally, this place is great for animals. They have started charging a per animal fee. They don't seem to understand the ADA laws. Otherwise this has always been a good/convenient place for us to stay. Breakfast is average.
Great hotel. We were in town as our grandson was in a car accident and we came up on short notice. Looked up Best Western Hotels in the area and chose this one. Very nice, clean, great bed and great breakfast. One of the best Best Western Hotels we have stayed in.
It appears to be an older motel that has been upgraded. They did a good job and everything in the room is very nice. Slightly strange smell when I got in the room but I got used to it. Front desk staff really friendly and helpful. Good coffee available 24 hrs a day. The area is slightly sketchy, but the grounds are very well lit and have been told by police friends in the area that this staff monitors closely and keeps the riff raff off the property.
This was a pleasant stay. We arrived late and check in was quick and easy. Room was easy to find and we were able to park right in front of the room despite traveling with a large service truck. The breakfast was as advertised and the bed was comfortable.
I have stayed at this hotel many times. Consistent quality of rooms and staff make staying here easy. Great place easy accessible from I 44. The pool is great in the summer months. Breakfast is always good and satisfying.
The Coach House is set up like an old style motel with parking in front of your own room. It was very clean and more like a hotel than your average "motel". Dinner at Jimms steakhouse (15 or so minutes away) is a MUST. The very best steaks with the very best service at very reasonable prices.
Nice hotel with personal service located within minutes of all amenities. Great rooms with excellent wifi and bedding. Good breakfast and great staff and service. Always stay here when I can. Have never been disappointed.
Great! The room was hyper clean. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They accommodated my desire for adjoining rooms. Breakfast was good. Value was good. If I have to find something to gripe about, the bed was a little firm. But I'm a softy.
While this motel is not super elegant or "modern" it is a very nice place to stay. It is located on one of the main streets of Springfield and is easy to access though it is in a very busy area. The lobby is appealing though not as pictured in a travel brochure. I think they may be getting ready for some work. The staff welcomed me and was efficient and helpful throughout our brief stay. The reservation was on file and check in was quick. Our suite was just as expected, attractive and convenient. Temperature adjustment was responsive. The bed was clean and comfortable. The TV was large and there were almost an excess of channels with a printed guide provided. Multiple power jacks for my electronics and chargers are conveniently up on the desk. Wireless Internet access was protected with a password and Terms & Conditions screen, but that's typical these days. Internet speed was quite fast, nearly 40 Megabits/second, for up- and downloads. The only traffic noise was from one siren-blaring vehicle that went by overnight. Breakfast offered the standard range of coffee, breads, fruit juices, apples and oranges, a waffle maker, various pastries, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and over on a separate area, cold cereals. This is all provided in a pleasant room with perhaps a dozen four-place tables and a TV. The motel was roughly half full by looking around at parking spaces but the breakfast area was not crowded. There is a playground and two outdoor pools, and a better than average equipped exercise room. I just used the treadmill though there are also a stairstepper machine and a stationary bicycle and free weights and bench. Checkout was smooth and trouble-free.
We always stay at the Coach Inn when we come to visit our family. It is close to my son's house and to my daughter-in-law's parents where we always have Thanksgiving. I like the fact that dogs are allowed. I would like to see a safety bar added to the shower-tub area. I recently had hip surgery and it was difficult to climb into the shower without something to hold on to. Other than that everything was great.
Breakfast good with usual items and an outstanding set of condiments for oatmeal and/or waffles - almonds, cranberries, etc. Mobility accessible room met requirements. Shower really good. Clean room and entire facility. Renovation resulted in modern interior areas. Three computers in business center. Exercise room looked great. Outside pool seasonal. Playground equipment. WiFi outstanding.
This motel was probably built in the 50's but had been updated fairly recent. The room was was very roomy with a patio with table & chairs that over looked a grassy area to the swimming pool. The only minus was no vent in the bathroom so taking a shower was a little chilly. In the summer the shower would be no problem. We would definitely stay here again, very nice. Breakfast was standard egg, potato, sausage, cereal, waffle, etc.
With Best Western's new rating system of their properties, I am not sure why this one is a Plus. This is a very old property from at least the 60s. The lobby was updated, but the room was tired looking. Everything was clean and functional, but why it deserved a Plus rating is beyond me. To meet ADA standards the toilet was changed out but didn't clear the door, so a notch was put in the door in order for it to close. Not the best solution, but serviceable.
the room was pristine, extremely clean with a very comfortable lazy boy recliner chair. The bed was extremely comfortable, parking was convenient, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had at any best western I've stayed at, and I always stay at BW. I would recommend the Springfield MO Best Western to anyone!
We traveled from Ohio to Vegas. Our first stop over was the Best Western. The second was another hotel... we were very disappointed in the second stay. On our way back I told my husband we will definitely stay at the Best Western motels! Those pillows were awesome!!!!!
A group of 5 family and friends were helping my sister move from Ohio to Phoenix. We had rental trucks and a dog and needed 3 rooms, so not too many place fit these parameters, especially the parking issue. Best Western Plus Coach House accommodated us on all counts and the rooms were very nice. The location was good also as places to eat within walking distance and a Walmart 1 block away.
I stayed here for a dog show and couldn't have picked a better place. Convienent to walk the dog and ample space to potty your pet. The pet rooms were spacious and very clean. I liked the fact that you could drive up to your room. It made it easy to unload all my stuff. The staff were very nice and went out of their way to accommodate you.
We were very pleased with the friendly staff, easy check-in/check-out and room was clean and very accommodating for a pet stay. Nice large quiet room, with close access to a grassy dog walk area. Would stay here again! Thanks
We have stayed here several times over the past few years. We have enjoyed each stay. Check in and out is fast. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Beds are great. For the most part, breakfast is adequate. Will stay here again!
Beautifully restored Motel/Motor Lodge. Everything perfect! Lovely courtyard in the center. Dog friendly too! We have stayed four different times and have no complaints. Included is great breakfast and the rates seem very reasonable.
this is one of the few hotels that offer rooms with a recliner in them. My 91 year old mother can only sleep sitting up and I'm sure many other travelers are like this too. for me...the bed was really-really comfortable.
The staff were very helpful and assisted us in getting into a pet friendly king sized room immediately. The grounds were great for walking our dog, had a playground for kids, outside pool for warmer months, great vreakfast area and food. The restaurant Ziggies had great all you can eat walleye. This is an older hotel but the rooms ere modern. Outdoor entry into your room- like a motel. The grounds were clean and safe.
My Dad and I traveled to Springfield for a family funeral. We chose the Best Western Plus Coach House initially due to location. But once we checked in, we were glad we did. Room was clean and ready for our early check-in, lobby inviting with a fire going, candy in little dishes, and an easy to spot computer center for flight check-ins. Grabbed a cup of hot cocoa from the personal coffee machine as well. The next day was just as good, full breakfast, hot and well made. They also provided us a Grab & Go lunch which made our journey back to St Louis for our flight less stressful. They also accommodated us with a later check out (due to the early funeral), which was just another example of their hospitality. Would stay again, and would recommend to anyone.
We brought the the ffa kids from 4 locations thru Springfield and did a driver exchange. This hotel is nestled beautiful in the land with one of the newly construction Best Western signs. You can overlook his hotel, the best landmark is Ziggie's Cafe then you well see the hotel. It is a single story L shape with a nice wrap around behind the cafe. this hotel is very peaceful and when drive up during the day shift the housekeepers are not standing around talking. They are actually cleaning the windows, nooks and crannies and anyhing else that should be cleaned. Main. personel is even helping taking out trash as needed from the equiped breakfest bar complete with a hot waffle iron, eggs, sausage links and sometimes sausage patties. A fairly good area for the morning breakfest eaters complete with a staff that works well taking care of the breakfest area. Management must have hand picked the crew as everybody from the desk clerks to the housekeeprs to the main. personel were all so friendly. We at Freedom Charters, Sherman, Texas will be using this hotel when we come thru on a driver exchange.
No, may not "look" as updated as many of the hotels but don't be deceived. Hotel is quiet, staff is exceptional, and rooms are very clean and comfortable, even for long term stay. Breakfast is very good and a restaurant is on the same property. Great value.
I enjoyed staying there as I had a dog show and they are Pet friendly. Room was clean and the staff was so sweet and very helpful in everything we needed. A nice lighted area to walk your dog at night. Like the parking right up to your door and not stairs to climb as I had my 94 year old mother with me.
This hotel is very very good. I will continue to stay here when I am traveling. The rooms are great. The staff is great. The food is great. The hotel is the best at a fair price. There is tremendous value in staying here.
Nice, older motel...very clean...and the staff was very friendly and most helpful..Was quiet and located within easy access of venues we were interested in. We recommend it and have stayed there several times prior to this stay.
Older roadside hotel look on the outside (brick, 1 story, drive up rooms) but updated rooms on the inside. Property well kept, 2 nice pools, hot breakfast. The room was clean, the towels were super soft and the bed was very comfortable. Great value for the price.
We were in town for a soccer tournament and stayed here a couple of nights. The place is a little dated, but all in all was a nice place to stay. The kids were a little shocked when we pulled up and it was a Motel vs. a Hotel.... but you have to love being able to park right in front of your door. They had a nice outdoor space where people were able to meet up and hang out. Also breakfast was included.
Our soccer team stayed here while we were in town for a soccer tournament. Was disappointed from start to finish. Our room wasn't ready when we got there, when we did get in I found long black hairs on my pillow and dead bugs in our bathroom. The walls are paper thin and you can hear every thing so good sleep is not an option. There were people congregating outside of our room until almost 11pm. It was extremely noisy and disruptive. The inside noise was just as bad--the room next to us had set an alarm for 5:30 that we could hear like it was in our room, then heard all of the multiple times after it went off when the occupant apparently hit the snooze button. The housekeeping crew accidentally gathered up part of my daughter's uniform when they were cleaning our room. Fortunately we were able to get it back, but I had to go to the housekeeping station myself as even though I reported it to the front desk he never reported it to housekeeping. The woman in housekeeping that helped us was the friendliest person on the crew and went out of our way to help us, which was much appreciated. However, she was the only bright spot of our stay. We called and asked for a late checkout and were told no in spite others in our party getting one. Lots of work needs to be done to make this place a good value. It's way too expensive for the quality.
Our two nights during an out of state soccer tournament were wonderful. The rooms were clean, decorated very nicely and comfortable. Every amenity needed was provided. Breakfast was very good. I was surprised to see the pool was still full in October but my 9 year old son was brave enough to take a quick dip. I would definitely stay here again.
This hotel is a very quaint facility. Each room had a small table and two chairs outside the door to sit in and enjoy the nice weather. It has a laundry room that is free to use by the customers which was really nice and very clean.
Loved staying here! I felt like I was traveling with my parents on vacation in the 1960s and 1970s when I drove up to this hotel. But that's where it stopped. This very well maintained Best Western has all the amenities of a modern hotel, and at a very affordable rate. Kind and friendly staff, nice breakfast, and updated rooms and lobby. Couldn't have been more pleased.
We have stayed here three times now, all for events being held at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds. They have nice update rooms. The hotel is near lots of amenities. The hotel staff has been friendly each time.
Like the old fashion motor inns. Except with modern amenities, more rooms, and of course, breakfast. There were also a table and chairs outside of each room, so you could sit and talk to the other guests. Not like a regular motel where everyone stays in there rooms and you lucky to get a Good Morning or a Good Evening.
This hotel has been around for a few years but its management has done an excellent job of maintaining and updating it as necessary. It is a very comfortable place to stay. This was my second stay at this property and will stay there again if and when I am in the area.
The service was great questions I had asked the lovely ladies if there was a good Italian Dining and they said "Avanzare Italian Dining" The place was fantastic. If I am ever back in Springfield I will surely go back. On another note the room was fine . Good value. Thanks BW
We stayed 1 night on our drive South to Memphis. We had 3 ACDs (dogs) with us & the staff were super friendly & accommodating. Super dog friendly with large grassy area to relax & walk dogs. They even supplied bags for cleanup. WiFi worked well, good water pressure & comfy beds/pillows. Nice clean room with welcoming decor. Parking is a bit tight if you arrive at night, but there's plenty of it. Rooms have doors going outside, so easy to unload & walk dogs. No 2nd floor - so no steps to hike up! I'd stay again, and could easily stay longer.
After staying in many other hotels in the Springfield, MO area over the past 26 years, this hotel/motel was by far our best experience in the area. Rooms are super clean, and the property very well kept. Loved the chairs outside all of the rooms & the young lady who checked us in was awesome! Highly recommend!
In town for a Marching Band Competition. School made a group reservation. Nice Staff, Clean rooms, Good Hot Breakfast. Nice group rate. We usually only stay in Hotels with all room doors on inside hallways. This is a motel with doors opening to parking lot. Appearance is a little dated, but clean and in good shape.
Stay here everytime I come to visit my daughter in college Love how I can park right in front of my room, great staff, and like how I am usually only person in workout facility. Staff is so friendly and always willing to assist.
This motel has all the comforts of home...great caring staff, great breakfast, laundry facilities lots of perks and close to all ...just love it ! the beds , pillows and linens are super comfortable. The staff is super helpful and rooms are very clean.
I was led to believe that I was speaking to a representative from Double Tree Hotel a Hilton Hotel in Springfield, MO where I had planed to stay but the hotel was booked for the dates I needed. I Did not know this was a third party deal or I would have hung up the phone.
We were extremely impressed with the motel. Everything was perfect. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet. The Fittness room and laundry were very convenient. The breakfast was nice. And last but not least, the price was right.
Again, an excellent stay with great employees and services as usual. I stay at this one often when in Springfield on business or pleasure. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this area! Rooms are excellent as well as the employees.
The excellent service, inexpensive price and good location make up for the rooms that could use a bit of a cosmetic update, but hey who am I to complain. Would have given the hotel a better sleep quality rating but for two days the guest in the room next to mine wanted to argue with someone on the phone until 2am not the staffs fault but staying awake half the night is not sleeping well right. Also the rooms are in need of a cosmetic upgrade but function very well and were very well cleaned and kept.
This was our first time traveling with our 3 month old puppy. Never realized how hard it was to done accomdations along the way. We are used to staying at larger hotels prior to getting a puppy Our first hotel along our route that allowed pets was horrific. We were terrified to try another one along the way home (seriously considered sleeping at a truck stop). We were pleasantly surprised by this small hotel that allowed our puppy.
A big disappointment, nothing like any of the other Best Western's we have stayed in. They need to adjust there prices so you won't feel like you have been robbed. The bed was hard, the early morning construction noise was terrible, the light from the bathroom window was a nuisance, the walk over to get breakfast was not within reason. The staff lost my travel rewards points and had only applied part of them. check out took 25 minutes.
Always a great place to stay..Friendly staff, affordable, and a great breakfast. Pet Friendly with a dog park outside the room..The most comfortable bed and pillows...Very quiet and peaceful stay....A Plus
The check in and check out was flawless. The room was clean and pleasant. The breakfast was good, also. I wish the pool had been open. It was closed the week before, labor day weekend. Jessica took care of the reservations and put our rooms close together.
We always choose this hotel for cleanliness, availability, and friendliness. My husband has a support dog. She's always welcome here. There are two large grassy areas where we can take her out for exercise. The staff is always friendly and willing to help if you have any issues.
I have stayed at this Best Western every time I come through Springfield, Missouri and have never had a bad experience there. The beds are great, the internet is fast, the breakfast is hot and has great variety. The staff is friendly and accommodating as well. I have stayed in top rated hotels in big cities that are far, far poorer than this place for twice the price. All in all I recommend this place highly.
I usually try to avoid hotels with doors that open to the outside. This hotel is an exception to that rule. Very nice clean rooms that is a step above most hotels for this price. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. There were two minor things that could be improved. More shelf space around the vanity, and it took a while to get hot water, but if you were patient the water got hot. But these are minor problems that i can easily live with. When i am back in Springfield i will definitely stay here again.
The best thing about it was being able to pull right up to my door and I didn't have to tote all my luggage up the stairs or take an elevator beautiful little hotel great rooms, front desk staff is awesome, very clean room the maids that come around are fantastic. Nice little chairs outside your room so you can sit and be outside it's like a park environment. Breakfast was average but good eggs were not powdered. I will stay here for forever any time that I am in Springfield Missouri price was very good also nice and quiet and everything that you could possibly need is on the street that this hotel is on.
Loved everything about this place. Quiet, clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, hot and cold food and drinks with great selection of all;, very comfortable bed, ceiling fan, great thermostats in room on wall, not on unit. Bathroom rather small but easy to access. Towels could be easier to get to upon exiting shower. Clean outside pool area. Easy access and close to restaurants and local attractions. Bass pro shop, western clothing and accessories shop. road construction but still fairly easy to get where you want to go. You definitely benefit from asking as well as following detour signs.
Great place to stay. I will be back next month for another stay. When I am in this area I will always stay there from now on. Yesterday I was my first stay at the Best Western Plus Coach House in Springfield, MO.
Got a really great deal. It has all the staples and it is super close to anything you need. If your looking for a great hotel for a great value without it feeling like you're in a dump, If i ever go back to Springfield i am staying here
I stayed at BW Coach House Inn for 2 nights, just a short vacation visit, and had a very pleasant, relaxing visit. The room was comfortable, staff was friendly and I had a few nice conversations with other guests while I stayed there. I traveled with my dog and noticed there were several other guests with their pets. The yard area for pets and people was well tended and nice. I loved the chairs that were outside of each room, it was a great way to sit outside to enjoy the cool evening air and I saw several people just sitting outside and visiting.
Room was very clean, comfortable bed, good pillows. Staff was friendly. Good location. Shower was good and breakfast looked very good even though we only had coffee and pastry. Breakfast buffet looked well stocked with variety of choices. Pleasant breakfast room.
It was a good room and a good night's sleep. We go every year to the annual Springfield Auto Swap Meet. We use coupons from Travel Buddy to make it more affordable. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone traveling in the area. It offers a free Continental breakfast.
The Best Western Plus Coach House in Springfield, Missouri is a good choice to stay and I will stay there again. This is my second visit to the same location and my only complaint is loud employees early in the morning and the ice box in the refrigerators could be a bit larger. The hotel is clean and the front desk workers are excellent.
I liked the lay-out, where we could park our car next to the door. Makes for easy (un)loading. Breakfast was one of the best I've had, with a variety of hot items. Did not use the outdoor pools or fitness room.
It is the old style motel kinda property where rooms are all on one floor and u park right in front of your room. There is no 2nd floor or elevator etc. There are two outdoor pools. Rooms are clean. But since it is the old style structure, which means anyone can just drive in or drive by yr window, so not a place for people who want security or locked properties. Small room with one elliptical and one tread mill is what they call fitness room. Staff is super friendly and well mannered.
Great place to stay with pets, good places to eat nearby, clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast was good, parking is easy since it a motor motel, you pull right up to your room. Easy to get to from I-44, great value....
The room was excellent and very comfortable with everything we needed. There were seven of us total in two rooms. The beds were great and the rooms clean. The surrounding area was quiet and had no problems getting to sleep. We were here for a funeral and needed the privacy and comfort.
Setting was from years-ago style motel with all rooms on ground level and parking in front of each room. Room was clean and good size and morning breakfast was typical (and good) for this type of hotel. Bathroom was a tad small and the sink was a pedestal style so little space for placing toiletries, make-up, etc while attending to business. Convenient to I-44 and to a number of restaurants as well as a Walmart across the street.
The set-up at the Coach House is great for road-trippers! I-44 about 70 miles east of Joplin. Setup like an old-fashioned Route 66 motel complex with single-story buildings spread across the property and you can park right outside your room! This is handy when you've got road trip gear like coolers, etc. Everything appeared to be recently remodeled and the room was great. I saw a pool and a fitness center as well. I received the usual welcoming treatment at the front desk I have come to expect at Best Western. I was unable to stay for the breakfast buffet, having to get back on the road. This is definitely a Best Western "Plus" accommodations-wise, but I have never had a bad experience at any Best Western in the US. Keep up the good work!
Every time I stay here it's a great experience! The staff is always smiling and very helpful with anything I may need. The breakfast is top notch compared to other hotels I've stayed at in the area. The rooms are very comfortable. This Best Western is located in a great area as well. Plenty of restaurants that are close and there's a Walmart right across the street.
The room was clean and everything was in good working order, although they did not have our suite ready when we arrived and we had to settle for a room we did not book. But overall a good value and a clean hotel.
The location, facilities, food, staff, price made our stay in Springfield awesome. The staff and manager were all extremely pleasant from the time I phoned in for a reservation to the time of check out. Looking forward to staying there again soon!
This hotel is a perfect stop for cross-country travelers. The rooms are spacious and well designed, wifi is free and provides a great connection, and the rooms are easily accessible if you are traveling with either small children or elderly folks with mobility issues. Staff is very friendly and extremely helpful (yes, Caitlyn and Cherylan are indeed especially awesome!), and the morning breakfast buffet is well stocked and very nicely appointed. I stay here every time I travel to or from Arizona to transport my "snowbird" mother to and from her summer and winter abodes. The facility is easily accessible from the highway and there are plenty of restaurant options available in close proximity as well.
I would not stay anywhere else in Springfield. You can not beat the price especially if you get a Buddy coupon out of one of those discount hotel papers. Always clean and remodeled. I like the room with the fan over the bed. Breakfast is great and they have 2 pools. Service is wonderful. Been going there for over 5 years.
To be both pet-friendly and having a Tesla (EV) charger is fantastic and I have no real complaints. The room was comfortable, and this made for a good stop. What stops me giving five stars is first, that to get a pet-friendly room you apparently have to book a certain size of room and there was some communication through bringfido.com about that, and I needed to cancel and rebook about a week later to accommodate this. This was the only hotel on a road trip where I experienced this, and what seemed strange is that having bee there, all the motel-style rooms seem to be the same. This essentially added an additional charge and I did note that what I paid was not identical to the booking amount even then. The difference was trivial, but made me think there was a slight disconnect between booking systems and the hotel. The pet fee, which was disclosed, was over and above the room rate, and I think it's perfectly fair to charge this, but maybe not quite as fair also to require a more expensive room: it seems like two bites of the same cherry. These observations are minor, and should not stop you booking what was a perfectly fine hotel with friendly staff.
staff was polite and helpful and room was good.good location and comfortable.quite and good restaurants nearby.price was reasonable compared to others in area.I plan to stay there again and some of my personel are staying there now.
The kids enjoyed the 2 pools on the property. Both are outdoor pools and 1 is 9 feet deep. The breakfast was nice, with waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The room was dated but fine. My bed did sag in the middle, but the other bed seemed fine. The bathroom we had was huge! I am not sure why it was so big but it was fun. Staff was friendly.
We had been on the road for 2.5 weeks at this point and came to this motel. Iconic experience as was an original Route 66 motel. Clean and bright. Completely remodeled. Beds very comfortable. Very nice lobby and breakfast area. Outdoor pool that was enjoyable. Grassy area with slides and swings. We parked and we even walked to the diner right nearby and received a 15% discount! Highly recommend!
Overall one of the nicest, cleanest, motels and polite staff I have ever stayed at. Great pool. My family and I enjoyed our stay at this motel, the staff, the rooms, the pools, and the breakfast was all excellent could not have ask for a better place to stay at with my family.
This place is fantastic! Arrived late one evening, desk staff was so pleasant. We even got to choose our room location. Amenities were great, breakfast adequate. Liked it so much I made a reservation for our trip back through. Reasonably priced too. I also loved he look of the place. Very quaint. In the future, I will stay at this hotel whenever I travel thru.
I've stayed st this motel several times and I can't say enough good things about my time there. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and if there is a problem the issue is addressed right away. Breakfast is always nice with a good variety of items. I travel with my dog and always stay in a pet friendly room. You would never know that there are dogs in these rooms, they are always clean and smell great. The walls are insulated enough that you never hear the dogs next-door and there is a great space to walk them. I really don't need to say anywhere else when I'm in Springfield.
Friendly staff; great pool (9 feet deep); great location! Very close to all the places we wanted to go. Quiet place, even though there were kids around... great area for pets. Next visit, we'll be staying at the very same place
Best hotel yet!! We got the king bed. The room was really clean. I always pull the sheets back and check everything and I did not see anything bad. The sheets were white with no stains. The bed is very soft and i loved it. The carpet was clean. Thr room smelled fresh. The days we stayed was the hottest days of the summer so far and the air conditioner worked great! We will definitely stay there again.
The location was easily accessible. Very neat and inviting appeal to it, almost set up like a throwback style motel of 50s and 60s (all on one level park in front of your room). The staff were great. Excellent room / excellent price.
Was over charged for the quality of room. Dark and smelled like a basement. Bed and bedding good. Towels new and large. Good $67 room not $114.cream and sugar packages were opened with no cream. Only decaf coffee. Hard to find ice machine. People thought our room was vending room and tried to get in all night
We stayed in a double room July 2017. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well equipped. All of the staff were very friendly, and responsive. We had a loose shower curtain rod in the room, maintenance came right away and resolved it. The outdoor pool was clean and pleasant. This place is very nice if you have a dog with you. Reasonable pet fee and nice grassy areas to walk your dog with pick up supplies and trash can available. Breakfast was adequate and kept well stocked. I would definitely stay again when I'm in the area.
Small little complex right off the highway that I definitely recommend! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice hot breakfast buffet daily that's included. Free parking and nicely updated clean rooms. Two swimming pools and nice enough little gym with a treadmill that I used. For the price paid it was great deal and only a few miles from the JQH arena which is why I was in town for a concert. Uber ride was $12 each way. Lots of places to eat nearby as well.
$75. plus tax came to just under $85. which we thought was great. We were told the motel had inside entrances, not so all rooms are out side entrances. The room was sparkling clean the cleanest we have ever stayed in, the toilet was spotless just like the tub, the carpets and the room. BUT one of the queen beds was broken where you could not lay down one it. Housekeeping sure blew this one. The other queen bed was as firm a bed as we have ever slept in, in fact we hardly slept in.
We went to 4 different BW hotels on our vacation and the only complaint we had is that beds are too firm. Beyond that they are clean and easily accessible. The staff always seems eager to help and very friendly.
I love staying at this hotel. It is so convenient to park right outside your room. There are 2 pools to choose from. Breakfast is alway great! I highly recommend the Best Western Coach House in Springfield.
Best Western Coach House is a refreshing alternative to the average motel. I love the fact that it is not a multi-story property. Cars are parked in front of rooms making unpacking and packing easier. The motel exterior is very welcoming with each room fronted by a porch. The property is quiet and feels like a small town even though it is located just off a busy four-lane street. Pets are welcome, and there is a well-groomed, large green space complete with poop bags and waste container just steps away from the pet rooms. Staff must patrol this area because I did not see one pile of poo while staying here. The rooms have been updated and are spacious. The room doors are heavy and have three locks. I felt very safe traveling alone with my dog. The air conditioner was up to the task of making the room comfortable. Breakfast was fairly standard but did offer many hot items. The front desk employees were friendly, efficient, and able.
This was our third stay over the past 7 years, and each stay has been great. The staff was friendly and helpful and always available. We will always use this BW when in Springfield. Thank you for making our visits to Springfield just that much better.
Hotel was very clean. Good breakfast. Very reasonable rates. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Staff was very friendly. We got a room on short notice. Very quiet. The bed was super comfortable.
Great place to stay would definitely stay again we enjoyed everything especially the chairs available for outside enjoyment and the restaurants were close enough for walking to and the outside was very enjoyable
The room was clean and pretty comfortable, though the TV was apparently not plugged in all the way so we weren't able to watch until the next morning when that was finally discovered, and the lamp mysteriously came on in the middle of the night. The shower head had no spray options. The breakfast was fairly good though they did not do a good job of replenishing the food and beverages. Location is good.
The lady at check in told us of a great restaurant nearby and that there was someone at the front desk at all times. The beds were comfortable, room was very clean and spacious, breakfast was plenty nice. We would stay here again.
The hotel has 2 great pools and is located in an easily accessible area for travelers. There is ample parking and several amenities in the area, although a few miles from the business center. My main concern is that the room seemed old and was heavily scented with cleaning agents. There was a heavy scent of berry or floral used to mask either clenaing products or other odors. That is very off-putting to me.
We arrived after what was a 14 hour drive to only find out that the hotel overbooked their rooms. They offered us a smoking room--needless to say we we didn't take it as it was not the room we booked AND we don't smoke. The girl as checkout after we mentioned we were BW members offered to call surrounding hotels. We drove 10-15 minutes to another hotel. Inconvenient--you better believe it. I would not recommend staying here unless you have a backup plan.
Spent one night here last week at this classic, beautifully-restored motel. Our room was clean, well-appointed, with very comfortable bedding. Didn't use the pools, so can't comment on those, but the breakfast room was large, with a great selection to choose from. Check-in was outstanding. Would definitely stay here again!
The worst part about our room No,122 was that the AC was very loud and we could hear the people in the next room flush the toilet and take a shower, so not a great nights sleep. Friendly reception staff and they did offer us a late night change when i wrang to say about the noise from the AC but a tad inconvenient when you are in your night wear. Breakfast was nice the next day and there was plenty of choice.
Would recommend this one level Hotel. Staff went out of their way to help with anything you needed and very polite and very helpful. Breakfast bar had a lot to choose from as well has coffee. The beds were very comfortable.
it was evening there were people sitting on patios. kids playing ball. people walking dogs. people in the pool. lots of people outside in the evening. i dont often see this. its looks like it had been upgraded since my last stay a few years ago and the front desk staff helped me find a mechanic that stay, so i wanted to go back and it was great safe environment for walking around the property
We enjoyed our short stay but would love to spend more time on another trip to enjoy the outside pool, kiddies play area, chairs in front of the room under cover. There's a flat grass area for Frisbee, or to play with a pet. Good restaurants close by.
Super friendly staff and bery welcoming and fast check-in. The room was very clean with nice decor. They also had an open area for my dog to go potty. It was very well maintained and very nice landscaping! Also free laundry machines.
Excellent hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast served at this hotel is inviting in appearance and offers a wide variety of healthy options. When needing to stay in the Springfield area this is our first choice in securing hotel accommodations.
very clean room ...the most important thing !!! I appreciate the updates on the rooms ..keep it up !! One of the best bangs for my buck in a long time !! the only cons ...the air conditioner a little loud ,,could use better cable tv ...breakfast needs to improve ..but carries you over !!
I stayed here for business and our boss made the reservations for us and the ladies at the front desk was able to rework our reservations so each person could get the rewards Also maintenance man very attentive when someone called and said that the hot water wasn't very hot he stayed and checked it out for the customer even though he was getting ready to go home for the day Very friendly staff
We really enjoyed our 3 nights here. From the comfortable king size bed to the friendly staff. The room was spacious and the AC kept us cool. The outside table and chairs was a great addition to being able to sit outside and visit as it cooled down in the evening.
Very pleasant, old fashioned motel, nice and clean, updated rooms, large bathroom area. The young lady checking us in was an absolute delight to deal with. We are regular travelers to the area, and will definitely stay there again.
Excellent hotel with quality breakfast and clean rooms. We have stayed here many times in the last 5 years and service is always good. The location is very convenient to Interstate 44 and Evangel University.
This was a great place to stay, it was a clean room and fun atmosphere. The kids liked the playground and after years of dragging luggage and making return trips to the car at your typical hotel/inn, I loved parking right in front of the door like we used to when I was a kid. The breakfast was nothing exceptional but other than that I really enjoyed the stay.
Had excellent room - clean and comfortable - will stay again. Breakfast was excellent and service provided was fine - staff friendly and knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. Will stay again on next trip. No complaints
It is unusual to find a one story drive up to your room motel being well kept up. Bath fixtures are all new, new TV, refrigerator and microwave. Fresh paint in room. Free high speed wifi. Grounds are well kept, 1 of the 2 pools was open, includes a small playground for kids. Unusual items of note include a 24 X 7cappucino machine in lobby, TV channel guide in rooms and a continuous fan switch on AC. It is unusaully large for a motel with 100+ rooms.
We were hugely surprised with the quality at this Best Western. This hotel has the same architecture of motels of the fifties. There is only one floor, so there are no steps. Our cars parked right in front of our rooms. We had one room with a king & one with 2 queen beds. Both rooms were spacious and were updated recently. The mattresses were excellent and the sheets were sort and high quality. Reservations were easy and the front desk personnel couldn't have been more helpful. We had to check out before the 6-9 am breakfast was served, but they offered us fruit and breakfast snacks to take with us. This mote has 2 pools and is next to Ziggies & Buckinghams BBQ. It was easy access to I-44 & bypass 65 without all the heavy traffic from south Springfield.
I always stay here when I do my travels to and from Michigan to Arizona. The breakfast is good, the staff are friendly, and I like that I can pull right up to my door. I travel with my cat, and he has even gotten used to staying here. I would recommend this to everyone.
Old rooms, terrible sagging beds, wet carpeting in room. Single-story layout means you might have to walk quite a ways to get to your room. Some parts of the "walkway" are obstructed with add-ons like vending machine or ice machine storage, not at all conducive to anyone with physical limitations.
This is my preferred stop while crossing Missouri. I love the fact that I can park my vehicle in front of my room. There's food choices within walking distance or a short drive of the property. I highly recommend this hotel.
This is one of the best hotel that i have stsyed in . In some time the staff are great and they will go that extra mill to help you. I stay in motels a lot and I would stay here more if i had to come to this town to work.
We stopped at this awesome vintage style Best Western on our way home. Everything was amazing, friendly staff, super clean and comfy. Updated and very well maintained. We couldn't have asked for a better place to rest for the night. The price was on point and it included a hot breakfast. Thank you Best Western Coach House, we totally enjoyed our stay!
Have driven by this place many times and thought it would be a great place for the afternoon and evening but, this was my first opportunity to stay. The rooms are clean, with all amenities and very comfortable beds. Outside, park in front of your door with a veranda overhang and chairs outside your door. A real nice touch allowing guests to interact in the evening - which we did and greatly enjoyed it. The rub . . . . It has two outdoor pools . . . neither one functional. We traveled all day in the hot wind by motorcycle, and a dip in the pool would have been great - AND I wasn't told that the pools were "out of order" while checking in, finding out later that dip I looked forward to wasn't going to happen. Breakfast was good but not up to a Best Western Plus standard that I have become accustomed to. However, the cost for all this was still at Best Western Plus prices. Not a real good value here since the motel did not live up to all its potential.
I haven't stayed at a Best Western property before but I came to Springfield Mother's Day weekend as the guest of Turning Point Church and was shocked and amazed at what I found. The Best Western is a jewel. The amenities were first class, everything was up to date and very nice. The sheets and towels were very comfortable, the grounds were immaculate, the staff was professional (look for Cheryl, she is a sweetheart). They serve a FREE hot breakfast with DIY waffles, I was a wonderful experience. They have a business center and FREE WIFI. Parking is at your door. I could get used to the level of comfort. It was well worth the money and a very pleasurable stay.
This is a great place to stay if you're in Springfield, Missouri. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. They have a good breakfast and bottled water if you want it and free newspapers. We would definitely stay here again.
This is a great hotel to stay at when in Springfield, MO! The staff is great and the beds are wonderful! Also, it is off the main road enough to curb the road traffic noise when there unlike other hotels in the area that are closer to the road.
All rooms were ground floor, a courtyard type hotel, which was fine. There were multiple choices of restaurants, one on site and several others within an easy walk. That included one really good BBQ place. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, with a good shower, which drained slowly. It was good to see the room had a dual flush toilet. The breakfast was good, with plenty of choices of hot and cold items. The desk staff was friendly and helpful. The W-fi was good, and there were plenty of outlets in the room for charging devices.
I made reservations for 6 rooms, nothing was ready when I showed up and I had to wait 20 minutes to be checked in with 2 people behind the front desk. I had 192 nights in Best Western hotels last year and was not recognized as a Diamond member, which does not bother me as much as the long check in process. I wont ever stay at this motel again. The check out process was not much better. The rooms were clean and large. The decor was ok and the bed was average in comfort.
I liked the fact that all the rooms were on ground level. The hotel is shaped like a U so it was easy to talk to other Spyder owners when walking around. If you need to sleep in complete darkness, you will need to bring an eye mask. They don't have the kind of curtain setup that allows the you to completely close the curtains. The curtains are only on the sides of the window and don't shut to the middle. If I hadn't thought to bring my eye mask, I would have had to purchase one. I thought the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Food wasn't really warm and they didn't fill up the empty trays quickly. I was extremely disappointed when EVERY Spyder and vehicle in the parking lot was ransacked one night. I failed to lock my tank on my Spyder and I had all my toll money stolen but it wasn't much money and it's my own fault for not locking it though the motorcycle was completely covered with a cover that the culprits had to remove. NO cameras on property and apparently no security walking around. I think the night after our vehicles were ransacked, Best Western did have a person watching the parking lot. Not only were our vehicles not protected, I personally did not feel safe walking around knowing there were no security measures. Best Western needs to keep the customers relatively safe. As a customer, it's my responsibility not to put myself in a predicament that is unsafe but the fact that our vehicles were ransacked while we all slept less than 100 feet away from them is a little frightening. There is no excuse for not having cameras on the property. Every Best Western should have some sort of security so the customers feel somewhat safe. I don't expect a security guard but even cheap cameras might prevent a problem in the future. Thank goodness it was our vehicles that were violated and not a person, it could have been much worse. I would stay at this hotel again but I would be on high alert and be even more cognizant of people and my surroundings.
we love to stay there and even have a favorite room #162 we stay there each time we come to Springfield Mo. we come to visit my mother who is in a nursing facility there and see a brother that still resides in the area.
Had a good nights sleep after a long day drive and room good. Have stayed here quite a bit and this was a good stay and no real issues. Great bed and nice king suite. Super check in. would stay again. Would like to see better yogurt offerings, like less sugar.
I certainly wouldn't pay the asking rate. we were given a group rate for an event. The beds were bad, everyone's vehicles were gone through by thieves as well. Breakfast was fair, we survived eating it 4 mornings. Cleanliness was average, internet was SLOW at best.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The WiFi worked great. All rooms had outside entrances so you could park directly in front of your room. There was a nice sitting area with table and chairs outside each door. There was always coffee in the lobby and the breakfast had a nice selection of items. There were several restaurants in close walking distance. I will definitely stay here when I pass through Springfield again.
This was a host motel for Spyderfest. They did a great job of accomadating numerous guests. Good hot breakfast. Courteous employees that greeted you. Parking in front of your room. Close to restaurants within walking distance.
Hotel staff very professional and friendly, both Check in and Housekeepers. Room was very clean, bed not the best in comfort, but overall stay was pleasant. We didn't have the breakfast, so cannot comment on that part of stay.
I really enjoyed staying there! The room was great! Everything was very clean and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows! The staff was always friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed staying there and will definitely go back.
Real nice stay.Clean,Great Breakfast.Shirley does an excellent job keeping everyone happy! Thanks to Katy for making our stay a great one.The staff was very accommodating. This is one of the cleanest places we've stayed.
Arrived late about 6:00 pm had no reservation, Mike at reception was very pleasant and helpful. We ended up with super accomaodation two rooms next to one another for my brother and I. We received a very good rate and all amenities were very nice. Breakfast was included and it was also very good. All in all a pleasant expereince. stayed the following night at another BW hotel.
Very nice, good rates, excellent location , will definitely stay again. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms clean and well maintained. Easy. Access to interstate. Would recommend to friends. Good hot breakfast bar.
My husband and I spent one night at the Best Western. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Room was average, but clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was pathetic. It needs more of a variety of items to choose from.
I spent one night at the Best Western Coach House. The staff was friendly both at check in and check out. The room was clean except the tile grout and carpeting could use a cleaning. The bed was decently comfortable. They have a fridge and microwave in the room which was nice. The breakfast was prett good but the eggs were really wet. All in all I had a good stay and would consider it again if I needed a room in Springfield.
Staff were welcoming and friendly. Room was average. Bed was comfortable, and lots of hot water. Had a room on the backside of the building, and would recommend a person to ask for a room on the back. The rooms on the front are subject to noise from the road. Had a good breakfast in the on-site restaurant. I would stay here again.
This was a great place to stay for my husband and I. We were in the area looking at homes and property. I was traveling with my service dog in training. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was all one floor and you could park right outside your room.
I liked this hotel and wish we had been staying longer. The lobby was huge and welcoming and the woman who checked us in was really nice. She really enjoyed her job. Our room was very nice and clean. No complaints. For an old fashioned motor lodge type place, it was well maintained and felt very safe. We parked in front of our door. They had free laundry facilities which we did not use but loved the offer.
This hotel had the most comfortable pillows (and plenty of them) and bed I've ever slept in at a hotel. The front desk staff was helpful and welcoming; and the room decor was lovely. Great experience there. Can't wait to go again.
Usually can't go wrong with a Best Western while traveling. Reception staff very friendly and efficient. Rooms very standard and dated. However there were no blankets. Bathroom shower was fine but the bathroom itself was not clean-dust and dirt behind the sink . The main light switch also the fan was too loud. Nice fluffy towels. Antiquated non working heat unit. Very nice grounds, pet friendly. Easy access from 44.
Found this hotel on Trip advisor .I always stay at Hampton Inn but they did not have rooms. When i checked in the lady was very friendly. The room was good size very clean an the bed was comfortable.you park in front of your room so very easy getting luggage in. They have a nice large area to walk your dog.they had a huge breakfast biscuits with gravy eggs sausage potatoes.a nice large area to eat. It has everything the high price hotels have for half the price.
Stayed one night, November 12th. My kids loved it, it was their first hotel experience. Beds were comfortable, room was clean. Breakfast was good too. Had no issues. Will stay again when I'm down in the area.
Nice classic one story morel feel with very well maintained grounds and rooms. Flat screen, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, nice towels, nice decor and plush bedding. Staff was friendly and helpful. For under $100 it's highly recommended. Best of 5 places I've stayed in Springfield.
First impression was great! Fresh paint, good colors, attractive lobby with friendly staff. Room was also very attractive with more amenities than expected for the price. It's a motor court style layout, so you can park in front of your room. There are table and chairs outside for a nice cup of morning coffee.
The front staff was very friendly and greeted me the minute I walked in the door. They weren't just sitting around, acting like I was bugging them, which is a nice change. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. The only problem was that the in room coffeemaker didn't work, but that's not the "end of the world". I would stay here again, if found myself back in the area.
We were in town for a dog show and just looking for a decent but inexpensive place to stay where we could bring a dog into the room. This was the only economical hotel/motel in the area accepting large dogs that didn't have alarming comments attached to it. Overall, we very much liked it! While it was hopping outside with people, we didn't hear a thing in the room. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, and it was everything we needed. Only two things prevent me from giving it an "excellent" rating: 1) We showed up and found out there was an additional fee for the dog to stay. Honestly, while it isn't much money, I would like to have known that in advance. 2) It was busy at breakfast and there wasn't anyone stocking the area in a timely fashion. My mother and husband had gone to eat about 15 minutes before I did and mom had said something to them at that time about needing to stock. When I came down, there really wasn't much there and people were still pouring in. The staff was nice though, professional, and if I am ever in the area again I won't bother looking elsewhere--I'd happily stay again.
The hotel has a very nice lobby and eating area. The beds have very nice linens and blankets, a thermostat instead of the normal knob on the window unit, and plenty of parking. The room was clean and modern and our breakfast was outstanding.
Phil here again, took the Misses to Springfield for the weekend. I read plenty of reviews on this motel and they are true, it's a very nice motel. We stayed in the King Suite room, it was clean and up to date. The room has a patio door that opens up to the pool area. The room has a refrigerator and a DVD player. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice as well. Great location right of the Interstate, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was tasty as well, and plenty of variety. We will stay here again when we pass through town.
I love this quaint and charming hotel. It's on the main thoroughfare for Springfield just off highway 44. It's clean and the employees are friendly professionals with an eye toward great service. They are happy to recommend great restaurants off the beaten path. The place is clean and modern and smaller so you can park right in front of your room. Their breakfast was delicous and there was a variety of options. the WI Fi worked! I will always stay here when visiting my daughter at college
My husband and I found this hotel to be very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and more than accommodating! The breakfast was more than we expected. Overall - a great experience!
The hotel was great, breakfast the same as all the Best westerns but 'our fault' we got very lost listening to our GPS after seeing the Fantastic Caverns. We got there late, wanted a restaurant close, they suggested 'Alla' behind the hotel. It was the worst place I have ever eaten in although there were a lot of locals there, the staff was nice but it just seemed quite dirty. Back to the hotel, clean, comfy beds, our air conditioner didn't work well and I forgot to tell the staff in the morning, I would stay here again but get food to eat in the room
Top notch hotel. Would recommend to anyone. Very clean, beautiful grounds, spacious rooms, MW and fridge in rooms.Near major highways, near several eating places and shopping. Typically good BW breakfast, good service. Comfortable beds. Overall a very good stay.
We were in Springfield for the Ozark Fall Farm Fest and stayed for 3 nights. It was just off of the interstate and close to a lot of restaurants. Nice, clean hotel with full free breakfast. For the price it was a decent hotel. No complaints.
Wonderful hotel, warm staff, comfortable room. The check-in was pleasant, and Mike was a great help. The room was clean, the bed was just right, and there was nothing but quiet. Exactly what we needed. Would definitely stay again.
The bed was really comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool. I enjoyed having a mini fridge in the room. The location of this motel is very convenient, right near the highway and near lots of restaurant options.
Pleasant economical hotel. Have used this location multiple times when visiting our daughter at Drury University and have booked it for the family for graduation weekend. Clean, Comfortable and convenient.
We really enjoyed our stay in Springfield. We always travel with our Yorkie and have never found a more accommodating hotel. They had specific rooms for pet owners and a dog park in front of the rooms. The room was clean and the staff friendly. Thanks for making it easy for us.
We did not prebook reservations for our return trip. I fee very lucky that we found this Best Western. It was the best value and most comfortable room of any stayed at. Staff bent over backwards to make our stay the most pleasant of the entire trip.
This place is great! We have visited many Springfield hotels and motels, and this is the only one in town (so far) that offers real butter, real cream for coffee, and yogurt options that aren't just "Lite & Fit" (sucralose sweetened). We really appreciated the real food efforts put forth at breakfast. Not a ton of floor space in the rooms, but convenient to park right outside for loading and unloading, and color scheme is warm and welcoming. Lots of green grass in outdoor spaces and a small playground for the kids, in addition to a small outdoor pool. Playground could use an update, but at these prices, who's complaining? Enjoyed our stay, and would stay again. Quiet, friendly motel, convenient to everything in Springfield!
While moving to California my husband and I spent one night at this hotel in Springfield, MO. All of the Staff were great. The rooms were in very nice shape, very clean and quiet. We needed to send some FAXES and had trouble doing so, but the Staff got it done! Very welcoming to LGBT persons!
We loved our room the bed felt so good to sleep in, the pillows where great everything in the room was perfect. We have stayed at other places before. This one was a little higher priced than others, but it really was worth the price. We will defenetly stay there again.
Great value cute rooms! Great location to the highway, with several restaurants within walking distance. Wal-Mart right across the street if you forgot something. 2 small swimming pools and a playground for the kids.
Very nice older hotel. Park right outside your room like an old time motel. The check in was fast and the young man checking us in was very polite and helpful. The room was large and very clean. Wi-Fi was very strong and worked well the entire time we were there. The room had a sliding door that lead to a nice patio overlooking the pool. All of the grounds were kept up very nicely. The breakfast was fair, nothing special but not that bad. Check out was fast and friendly.
the food looked nice service was great but the food cook needs to be trained on how to cook well needs time with a grandmom and the food will be fine the person i saw cooking was clean and nice but youge she does care i seen that but just needs training b4 you lose customers
Very friendly and helpful staff from cleaning personal to staff in the lobby excellent room condition.great hot breakfast it has a restaurant on site and is close to other restaurants shopping & fuel stations it is also BIKER FRIENDLY! I highly recommend this hotel!!
Older Motor Lodge where you park right in front of your door. Well maintained, rooms were in very good condition. Pet friendly with a large grass area in the center of the property. Good staff from front desk to housekeeping. We will always stay here when in Springfield.
it was a good location, and the hotel has excellent customer service. The hotel its old, and the rooms smell like that, also the breakfast its not good at all. Even though that they have a good location, and that I would be back in Springfield, due that my son its studying in an university there, I would not considered this hotel again for my stay.
We were greeted with a smile and Mike took the time to answer our questions and ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. We thought great customer service was a thing of the past. Mike, at Best Western in Missouri showed us that customers are still important to some. The hotel was clean and we felt safe. The beds were very comfortable! We would definitely recommend.
Last year we stayed here for the street machine nationals. This was our 3rd stay here. We like the location for the festivities at night and it is easy access. The rooms are comfortable and convenient. It is a bit pricey for the age of the hotel, but it works. We had 3 rooms. Our room with my husband and daughter, a room with a couple friend of ours, and another room with a friend and his daughter. We had reserved them all as they had not been in the past so we just reserved them all to make it easy on everyone. This year when we got here the couple of our group was given a room that was already occupied and they walked in on a couple sleeping in the middle of the afternoon when they used the key to access the room they were told to use. They were given another room. Then, all of our rooms had bugs in them. One of the rooms had them pretty bad, it just happened to be the “new” room the couple that had been given an occupied room had. Bad luck so far. AS the weekend went on, we were having issues getting our rooms cleaned and towels, etc replenished. We had to call to get them several times and the trashcans around the property were not being emptied. We called and got trash bags to empty them ourselves as they were overflowing all over the place. All this being said, our stay was still pretty good as we enjoyed the company and the festivities and we understood they were kinda short staffed and they were sold out. Before we left, I went up and registered for the next year as I wanted a specific area. I was given our reservations and we headed home. 5 hours away. The event is coming up and for some reason I had a feeling I needed to check my reservation. Glad I did. It wasn't in the system. No worries, they still had 2 rooms we could get in the area I wanted. But, wait! Oh, Im sorry. You are on our do not rent to list. I can't rent to you. I asked them why, and they couldn't tell me. I waited all day today for the hotel to call me back as they said the manager would be contacting me and no one did. I called back 3 times. The third time I was told there were complaints about us last year and we were placed on the do not rent to list and she couldn't do anything. I asked what the complaints were. She said she had no idea and couldn't find out. Seriously? We didn't do any burn outs. There was no damage to our room. We didn't have any music. We kept to ourselves at the back corner of the property. To make things better, no one could explain to me why they cancelled our reservations and didn't say one thing to us. They had our phone number and our address and no one ever said one thing about a complaint about us while we were there or came and talked to us about anything we were doing wrong. They were just going to let us drive 5 hours thinking we had reservations and show up with nowhere to stay. I am still dumb founded at this situation. Actually, disgusted they would do this. I can't even answer to the complaints or find out if it was even us as they won't tell me what they were. Don't make reservations here or take a chance with your hard earned money. It isn't worth it!
We loved our brief stay at the Best Western Plus Coach House. The place has such a cute theme and the hotel rooms were so pretty and newly designed. The complementary breakfast was wonderful!! Fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles, and more! They have a dog park complete with doggy bags to clean up after your pet.
I think everything was good, we didn't have any problems. They said they had never seen the printed coupon from Travel Buddy it was a good thing I had the whole sheet with me otherwise I don't think they would have taken the coupon.
We stayed here on a long road trip with our dogs. We were happy to find an actual "pet friendly" hotel as they are hard to find nowadays. Many places advertise as "pet friendly" but really are just "pets allowed" which are two different things in my book. This BW has a wonderful grassy area to take your pooch (or cat, I guess that happens?) to walk around in and they provide little baggies to clean up after they are done. The room was very clean and the grounds looked nice. The pool looked well maintained and the breakfast, while typical of many BWs, was tasty and hot so I couldn't complain. Overall it was an enjoyable stop for my familly, both the two legged ones and four legged ones.
Ended up here based on reviews for 1 night. It is a old school style where you park in front of your room. The property is clean with a definite emphasis on landscaping and friendly feel. With the hotel being a "Plus" property, the bathroom, shower etc... Have been updated with the latest fixtures. My only negative is when the TV Listings sheet does not match the TV. With 100 channels, hotels have got to figure a way to simplify how to find a channel.
I chose Best Western Plus based on location and good online reviews. I was not disappointed with the facilities, room or price. I would, and did, check in at a Best Western Plus hotel again in the future.
I have stayed at this BW many times. The room and accommodations were comfortable as usual. This time of year I guess I was a little late at breakfast and was crowded enough that I was unable to make a waffle, my favorite part of breakfast. I will have to show up earlier next time. Convenient, clean, and comfortable.
This motel was a surprising gem. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the king suite. I was expecting an average room but was surprised to find an updated room with the BEST beds. They were so comfortable. They had two outside pools(1 was not open during our stay) and a playground. Overall it was nice place to stay with our family.
Let me just say, we began this trip to my sons wedding in Springfield MO. with the daunting task of a 13 hour drive from Georgia. I didn't know if we could make the trip in one day so I had not made hotel arrangements for the first night so that we could stop at any time we needed. Unbelievably, my sweet husband powered thru and when we were about 80 miles away I called the hotel to see if they could accomodate us with 2 rooms for the night. Mike answered and said that was no problem, come on in and that he would do his best to match our expedia rate so that we wouldn't have to change hotels. So on we drove! The GPS took us around the corner from the hotel (it is located in an area directly off the interstate with lots of hotels). We were lost!! We called and sweet Mike talked us right on in. Mike was on the phone helping someone else when we arrived so Nathan took over, handled us very efficiently, matched our rate and handed us our keys! Thank you fellas!! Our first (very tired) impression of the hotel was that how sweet and retro it seemed. It is in a very busy area with a walmart not even a block away, but it feels very secluded, The pics on expedia really did it NO justice, Its one story and every room opens into the parking lot. There are lots of grassy areas, two small but wonderful pools and every room has a small sitting area outside the hotel doors to relax. It was very homey feeling. We opened our room, 221 to be exact, and were blown away at how comfy and well appointed the room was (especially for our rate)! The bed was big and comfy, the ac was super cold and we even had a recliner! Perfection!! We had a total of 8 rooms for the long weekend of festivities surrounding the wedding and we had lots of interaction with the staff. Kris and Lori took care of our rooms and they were helpful, kind and understanding when we had a question or needed even more towels so the happy couple could come swimming too! They were also very sweet to our teenage boys in room 328! My only complaint about the free breakfast is that it was so good you could hardly get in there to eat! Seriously though, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, juice, cereal, breads, waffles and coffee were offered each morning we were there. Was it the greatest breakfast ever prepared....no, was it fabulous for a hotels complimentary breakfast....ABSOLUTELY! The manager (Jeff) said they were working on getting a more extensive menu when I complimented him on the breakfast, hotel and staff. This hotel and the staff were wonderful. I would highly reccomend them and hope that this review lets them know how much I appreciate their kindness during a wonderful yet stressful time. Thank you Best Western Coach Plus. Our stay could not have been better!
More bigger than the you can see in pictures, 2 large pools, playground, big rooms and good breakfast, the dinner area is small for the people who eat there at the morning . The staff is very helpful, clean rooms and hotel. I will stay there next time I visit MO for sure!!!
Stayed several times here, rooms are always clean and the staff friendly & helpful. The breakfast looked good although we only got drinks. Our favorite part of this hotel is it is only 1 story so no one is ever stomping around above you.
I always stay here when I pass thru Springfield. Staff is always helpful and pleasant. Inviting Lobby with fireplace and nice breakfast and breakfast area. Rooms clean. Located near restaurants, walmart, and other stores.
We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. We were very thankful for all the nice touches this hotel made to help visitors. They have a nice washer/dryer (free!!!), two pools, nice breakfast, excellent staff, and great location ( Walmart across the road and quick places to grab meals). I was very pleased with out stay here and would stay again without a doubt.
The rooms are small and not for families traveling with more than two kids. We had to switch rooms upon arrival, because the first room was not cooled off enough by later in the evening. The mattresses in the second room were sunken in to the point that, we had to put pillows down the middle. The beds were not even made neatly a couple of days. The breakfast area was not large enough to accommodate all of the people staying, and there was not enough food ready to eat. The best part of the hotel was the staff at the front desk.
My wife and folks, along with my two dogs, stayed here back in May on our journey from New Mexico to Pittsburgh and I have been meaning to lend a positive review ever since. You never know until you stay, but this hotel ended up being perfect for our group and were very pet friendly. They had washers and dryers on site which was handy because we were caught in a heavy downpour on our drive and my water resistant suitcase ended up being not-so-water-resistant and my clothes were soaked. The breakfast was good and there was good parking for our U-Haul towing our vehicle. We will definitely stay there again on our trip back to New Mexico in December; PS. we all thought the beds were SO incredibly comfortable and the rooms were clean. It was handy to have the doors open to the outside too so the walk from our vehicle to our rooms was quick and easy.
I really liked this inn. It was clean. Everything is updated. Only thing the tv kept going in and out. In addition, you could hear everybody when they went outside to their cars, but no big deal. The breakfast was great. The workers worked their butts off to keep everything in stock during breakfast. In addition, the lady at the front test was very friendly. Overall, the staff was friendly.
Rooms not ready until late that evening (6:00) not cleaned properly or at all. Cleaning staff were either not trained or unwilling to clean rooms. Lady came in a made up the bed and left? Debris on the floor ..Breakfast was good if you like powdered eggs..
nice hotel to stay at older but well kept. great breakfast. I stay in the suite. all ground level rooms. shower has a extra high shower head if you are tall. The TV needed replaced in my room and the front desk only had one person working at it and I think he was new as it took him a long time to compete task. He was very nice and professional just new.
Stayed here on our way home from vacation. Pleasantly surprised with how pet friendly the place was. All of the rooms were on the first floor which was a plus since we had our dog. Nice green space where many people were playing with their dogs. Waste disposal bags and trash can conveniently located. Many of the rooms surrounded the green space. Excellent breakfast the next morning with many choices. We would definitely stay there again. Employees were very nice and friendly also.
Had a good stay. Room was a little dirty here & there but staff was outstanding. Breakfast was OK. Sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy but no bacon. Vending machines available at the ice machine. Good food across the street and fast food nearby. WalMart & Kmart nearby too. Close to I44. Available patio suites.
Well maintained motel where you can park in front of your room. Friendly staff and good free breakfast. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Swimming pool was clean. Well landscaped and maintained.
When the housekeeper came to our room she said something like... I should not leave things our because it would attract ants. I had a cup with some water and a small amount of DP on the counter. I told her that I had always had sodas in places I stayed and this had never been a problem other places. It took too long to take care of the problem and the staff did not seem very concerned.
This was our first time to the Springfield area and we wanted to stay at a Charming Motel instead of a large hotel! This Best Western did not disappoint! Our room was clean and spacious, the bed was extremely comfy, and all the staff was very friendly! The free breakfast was ok but then again it was not why we chose to stay here. We love the retro feel of parking right outside the door of our room and having one of the pools so close by! While we only stayed overnight, we look forward to returning for another stay at another time! A stay at this Motel brought back great childhood memories of the single floor motel type establishments!
Mike at front desk was very professional, efficient and had a great attitude. Room amenities were good, clean and in working order. Breakfast items were hot, fresh and nutritious. Would stay here again when in the area. Check out on day of departure was quick and efficient. Staff are obviously very well trained.
Maintenance man walked into my room after seeing me enter my room and shut my door, he never knocked or announced he was coming in. I screamed at him as I was walking out of the bathroom, told him this was my room get out. he kept saying he had a work order to unclog the tub. I never felt so scared in my entire life, he's lucky I didn't have a taser or I would have used it.
My family has stayed here for years. It is the halfway point on our trip to visit family, so we stay at least twice a year. We have always found it a great place to stay. This year, we were really disappointed. The first room we were given smelled like smoke despite being a non-smoking room and it wasn't very clean. We asked for a different room and were quickly accommodated. The 2nd room, while cleaner, still did not meet our expectations of cleanliness. Plus, the bathroom (in both rooms) smelled like urine. In addition, there were ants. The people who worked at the desk were pleasant, but - compared to previous stays - not much else was positive. The breakfast didn't seem as good as previous breakfasts. And we missed the little things - cold bottles of water, friendliness of staff when we arrived early for breakfast (instead of being told, quite rudely, that breakfast didn't start until 7.) We stayed elsewhere on our return trip and were happy with that decision. We will miss the good location (so convenient off of I-44 and across the street from Wal-Mart for easy shopping when needed) and the queen size beds, but we found a cleaner, more customer service-oriented motel a few miles down the street that will be getting our business from now on.
If you are looking for a posh, fancy place this may not be the one...but it is updated, clean, and has a very friendly price and staff. Room just like those down the road that is double the price. Handicapped room was superb! Definitely will use again if I go to Springfield
Empty toilet paper roll, things on floor, stale smoke smell in room and faint urine smell in bathroom, maybe housekeeping skipped this room? The woman at front desk was super nice and helpful, so that was nice. Would have given it a lower rating but my family thinks it's not too bad so maybe I'm imagining the smells. I've been in worse rooms in my life. At least we didn't pay much for the room.
we had 3 rooms for a bowling tournament. Cute old time one level motel with 2 swimming pools and grassy area. lots of restaurants on Glenstone ave. close to interstate but not close enough to hear the cars.
Like the staff were kind and well trained. Workers cleaned well. Not enough soap given for a family of four. I did need to ask for the room to be cleaned 2xs. Seemed a little confused as to who was supposed to clean. Breakfast was great. Rooms were clean. Bathroom had a few bugs- rollypollys. Mattresses too old and worn out. They sunk in the middle. My family was with me. I weigh 210 and my wife weighs much less. Both beds had this problem. I slept with my head at the foot of the bed to balance it out.
Clean and nicely sized rooms with vaulted ceilings and ceiling fans. Well maintained property with nice landscaping and 2 small pools. Pet-friendly, which is very important to us. Good amenities. Definitely recommend!
Was a one night stop over on our way home . It was around 5 in the evening and thought they might be full. However, the girl at the front desk was very nice and told us they had room. She was very friendly and helpful even when it came to a place near by for dinner. The room was emaciate the beds very comfortable. Would stay again.
I read the reviews of motels in the area and decided to try Best Western. I wasn't disappointed! The motel was one of the nicest that I have stayed in. Courteous staff and big clean rooms. Each room has it's own parking, which I really liked. I plan on staying here again if we are in the area overnight.
Check in was amazing! Girls were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast great! Pool grand! Beds good! Near a lot of places to eat! We really liked this Best Western! Made us feel right at home! Kind of like a home away from home. Check out was fast.
For many years, this has been my go-to hotel in Springfield. Even when I should have long-since given up on them, I kept coming back - when a maintenance malfunction left my room door not only not-locked, but actually standing ajar for an extended time; and again, when management ignored a fairly serious injury I sustained on and as a result of their property, still I over-looked and made excuses and returned. The rooms have always been very comfortable, and the breakfast exceptional, the price pretty good, and the staff friendly and welcoming. I knew that if your room is too far from the lobby, the wireless connection is slow and boggy and requires to be reset frequently, so I always requested a room within good wireless range. My recent experiences at check-in lately have left me walking out of the lobby angry, muttering, and in need of an attitude adjustment before I get on with visiting family, though. I can't put my finger on it, and perhaps it is me, though it does not happen with any other hotels I stay at - even if there are problems, it is almost always cordial. The staff at this facility in the past couple of years has seemed to come with extra attitude, and my daughter, who's stayed with me sometimes, has noticed it, too. On this stay, I'd made a request for a room near the lobby (and wireless), and during a nice, cordial telephone conversation with desk staff earlier on the day of check-in, that request was verbally acknowledged; however, at check-in, I was given a room at quite a distance from the lobby. I told the desk clerk that I'd requested a closer room, and she denied that there was any record of that request, and informed me that she could not accommodate my request. That, and the attitude that came with it are within the realm of not-noteworthy if it happens once, but I find myself leaving angry from the check-in encounter more and more; and, like I said, this doesn't happen at other hotels, and my family members are noticing it too. By the way, the wireless connection was slow and boggy and required to be reset frequently I have quite a few points to use up with Best Western, and I may stay at this property again in order to make use of those points when I visit family in Springfield; but I'm reluctant to give them my money again, and that makes me sad. I like the location, and have liked this place quite a bit in the past. I have been, as a matter of fact, quite a loyal customer, but I don't like having to talk myself out of being angry and feeling petty, and that is what I've had to do with recent stays here.
This hotel is outdated and not cleaned very well. It should be closer to $60 not $90. On the plus side the staff is friendly and the location is good. The breakfast was not great but not terrible either.
Absolutely unbelieable curtious staff and the breakfast was perfect. Holly was a great insperation to all of us and Best Western is lucky to have her.I recomend this motel to anyone. They truly work hard to keep us happy.
Got to our two rooms. Had old time chandelier lights. Kids thought kind of retro funny motel living. All was okay. Came back to room after all day outing. Said they couldn't make up beds bc left a blanket or pillow on it. Didn't take out trash. Didn't empty ashtrays. Didn't wipe out tub or shower. Basically did nothing but bring new towels. AC worked well.
I had a nice, comfortable stay. Everything is clean, staff is nice and friendly. Continental breakfast was good enough, eggs are powdered though. There's even a pool and a very cute retro playground. There is also a restaurant in the parking lot that you must check out. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return :)
This is a lovely Coach House to stay at. Functional, clean and modern which is all you need for a night away. Breakfast included. Lovely friendly staff in Breakfast room and also on check-in desk. Also has a swimming pool on site. Highly recommend.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The king size bed was comfortable, and the little sitting area outside the room was nice. Water pressure in the shower was lackluster, as it is in most hotels these days. My only real issue was the overuse of extension cords.
Have stayed at the Coach House for the last 15 years for the NSRA weekend. Before that I stayed there when I traveled representing a men's shirt mfg. I thought at the time the Coach House was a value and was easy to get to off of the Intestate. I used my room as a showroom to show my line.
The Best Western Coach House is in Springfield Mo. is a very accommodating inn with excellent service and great location. The rooms are quiet even though the location is close to the interstate. The cost included breakfast isl above average and there are good restaurants in the area. I would recommend it to anyone.
Hotel was nice. Rooms were good, could have been a little cleaner. Staff was great. I would stay there again... The breakfast bar was ok. The biscuits and gravy were just that. Not much sausage in them. Some fresh fruit would have been nice also. The grounds were well kept, and the style of the room was older, but nice.
This was my first time to stay here, but I will definitely stay again when in Springfield. Nathan & Michael were very friendly upon check in. I asked them to help me find a nearby, locally owned place for dinner, and they were very helpful. This is one of the few remaining hotels that still has smoking rooms. Since it's a "motor court" arrangement with separate air conditioning, that should not be a problem for you non smokers. Since it's the old "motor court" set up, you pull right up to your room and unload. There's a porch over all the rooms. Each room has an outdoor table and 2 chairs under the overhang, so you can sit outside when the weather is nice. The bathroom has a little cabinet in which you can store your toiletries. I liked that feature. Most chains now have vanities on which you have to store them. This Best Western has a pedestal sink, so no vanity, but a nice little cabinet. My room had a nice ceiling fan, which I appreciated. They offer a nice hot breakfast. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, and sausage. And the breakfast potatoes were delicious! The hotel sits on a hugely busy four lane street, but my room (facing that major artery) was very quiet. They must have done some amazing soundproofing. If I had to offer one complaint, it would be about the pillows. There were 4 pillows on each bed, and all of them were VERY fluffy, I tend to like a rather flat pillow. By the time I got ready for bed, I was too tired to call the office and ask for a flat pillow. But I bet they would have obliged. Love this motel! I'll go back!
Super clean , inexpensive , old school motor court hotel . If you're traveling and need a place to crash and get on your way the next morning it's perfect . Close to the interstate , look up the cheapest rate on the net and the front desk will match it .
During this visit, we stayed in room 230. It's probably about one city block from the lobby. It had only one queen size bed that was squeaky, the mattress had a concave shape so it was uncomfortable for two to sleep on it, and the fitted sheet came coming off while in bed. The tub did not have any grab bars. The shelf in the bathroom to hold your toiletries was small. The full hot breakfast offerings included scrambled eggs, sausage/ ham, hash browns, waffles, Folger coffee, yogurt, fresh fruit, breads/rolls, and bottled water. Overall the property while dated is well maintained.
Clean updated rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast..excellent value..stay here if you are passing through. Beds are comfortable and plenty of pillows. Grounds are landscaped well lit at night and clean. Has nice pool and even a playground for kids
We were driving from Wisconsin to Dallas. This motel is a quick overnight stop. Right off the highway, you can park in front of your room. Quick check-in, internet access, clean rooms and and a pool. Rates are great and the staff was friendly and helpful. What more can you ask for!
This is a clean updated property, with a little bit of old fashion appeal. I loved it! The staff was pleasant and helpful. My family liked the fact that we could park right in front of our room and not have to carry our bags far. The room was clean and comfortable. Despite the parking being so close to rooms, it was quite. Didn't hear cars coming and going or doors shutting. I really appreciated that they offer free laundry. There is two small washer/dryers. The breakfast was the normal stuff. The juice machine was not working properly and they promptly went to the market and came back with jugs of juice. I appreciated them not overlooking that. The children were grateful! Do some research and you can get a coupon and make this an even better value. I would stay here again, if I'm in the area.
Nice stay, Comfortable.asked to see our room prior. was not happy with first pick due to smoke smell. Person at the desk showed us a different room that fit our needs just right. We were so tired we went right to bed. The next day we did business and came back to our room. Then we remembered the hotel staff saying cookies and mike every night. That was a nice touch. We will stay there again. It was close, clean, pleasant staff and good price.
I was evacuated when I walked into the lobby to check in, but I was greeted by excellent front desk staff who walked me through all the amenities available. This included FREE LAUNDRY!! Two small washer-dryer combos were available for use, and they even sold little one time packs of detergent. This, for a solo traveler who is on the road a lot, was magical.
Great location to the airport. Great service and staff. I would come here again but I would not come here if I had others in my party I was trying to impress (business) as it felt more like a motel on a single level.
Easy to find - park by the door - clean & quiet room - fast internet & a large desk with a solid roller chair - professional friendly folks at the desk - good breakfast in a well lighted dinning room - all served with a smile - the reasons I do return
My Wife and I were in Springfield for the Weekend and were looking for a room that would be easy to get to and from. I found the Coach House to be just off one of the main arteries for Springfield. From the Outside, it is an Old School Motor Inn, with parking right in front of each of the rooms. From the Inside, it is well appointed Modern Motel. The Service was fast and friendly. The Rooms were Clean, Quiet, Comfortable and Secure. While we chose to go just down the road to Cracker Barrel for Breakfast, the Coach House offered complimentary Hot & Cold Breakfast options.
We didn't realize this was a motel instead of hotel so very disappointed when we arrived. I don't care for having my door open to a parking lot. Personal preference. Also with the title featuring "Plus" and photos of the room on Hotel.com our expectation was different. However, with this being said, the photos were not mis-leading. The room looked just like the photos. It is an older motel but lovingly renovated. It was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. We didn't eat at the motel, we chose to eat at restaurant next door which was very good.
When we arrived the hotel seemed old, however once inside we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was very clean and seemed to be remodeled. The breakfast was hot with lots of options. The staff was very friendly and helped us to find things to do. Two thumbs up.
This is an older motel that has been updated in the very best way. I LOVE the fact that I can park right by my room and not have to walk down a dimly lit hallway meeting who knows who. I can keep an eye on my fully loaded car and not worry. I love the fact that the furniture is arranged so that it actually makes sense. I can see the tv from the very comfy recliner. I love that the bathroom light is bright enough for me to put on my makeup and that the sink is I'm a separate area. The bed is comfy and the room is clean. The desk staff were welcoming and very helpful. I'd stay here again next year!
I don't understand how Best western can allow a place like this to be called Plus ! It's an old not-renovated motel with rooms leading straight to the parking lot. I have been to luxurious BW Plus Hotels and they are on a different planet than this one. I notice most of the "good" reviews come from reviewers with only 1 review which suggest they have been planted. Beds were decent enough for a good night's sleep but bathroom was tiny and shower didn't drain resulting in ankle deep water levels. Fridge was not plugged in and I had to drag it out of its cubicle. Useless effort as it didn't work and we lost some food. Evening staff was courteous but couldn't change anything. Breakfast was terrible. Pancakes were soft and clung to waffle maker. Mix was off and lady apologized. Corn flakes were poor imitation. No English muffins and cheap supermarket bread with no butter available. Etc. Etc.
I stayed at the Coach House during a large group event. The motel and grounds are clean. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The TV was easy to operate. They have larger bars of soap. I really like being able to park right at my door. The staff was cheerful and very helpful. The breakfast was good and offered hot food along with the normal cold fare.
Park at your front door, great free breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, centrally located. I will recommend to my friends and family. We stayed here with a large group and we were well taken care of by the staff.
This hotel was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a very good value for the price. I would recommend staying here to anyone. I know we'll be back again next year.
This hotel is in need of major renovations and I would not recommend staying here until they are done. This hotel is rated as a Best Western Plus but it is definitely not. The lobby and breakfast area have had renovations done and they look great. That's where it ends. Our bed had a valley in the middle of it. The floor boards are lifting near the door. The bathroom is so small you can't turn around in it. The location is very convenient with shopping and restaurants within walking distance.
Everything at the hotel is on the first floor with parking directly in front of your door. Great for seniors. Nice shower/tub. Comfortable beds. Comfortable chair with ottoman for reading. Lighted vanity with a tall bar-type stool outside of bathroom area. Good air conditioner and plenty of closet and draw space. Nothing distasteful about the property. Could the breakfast have been better? Sure, but there are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. All in all, a fine place to stay for a reasonable price in a convenient part of Springfield close to I-44.
It was very clean inside and the outside area including parking lot was very well manicured. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and had many choices. Felt safe and secure during our stay.
When we want an inexpensive place to stay in Springfield, we always go to to the Best Western Coach House. It's clean, the beds are very comfortable, and they provide a completely adequate breakfast. The facility is old, but it has been refurbished and is quite nice inside. I would prefer brighter lighting in the room, but they use the energy efficient bulbs in all lamps, so it felt a bit dim. On this trip we also stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, definitely a step up, newer, more luxurious, but for more than double what the cost of the Best Western, our recommendation is to take the less expensive route!
We stayed here on our way home from Arizona, because they accepted dogs and the motel was in the right location. We were very pleasantly surprised. While an older motel, it was very updated, clean, and spacious. The hotel staff acted like they were truly happy to have us and were very helpful. We have this motel on our list to stay every time we go that way.
Last minute change of plans caused me to stay. It is an older motel , reminded me of the motor courts of the 60s. The room I was in was very nice and roomy and the staff was friendly and helpful. There is also a free hot breakfast. There is a restaurant in walking distance from the motel. I would definitely stay here again.
I travel through Springfield often, have stayed in many hotels, but this is a keeper. For the price, a great room, the staff is first-rate. I don't drive an electric car, but there was a plug-in right outside my room! Worth the .5 mile drive off the highway.
My husband and I found our room to be nicely refurbished, nicely cleaned. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was quiet. The desk staff was very welcoming. Breakfast was very good with a nice assortment of choices. There was a small fitness room which we did not have the opportunity to use. A previous reviewer had trouble with the WiFi. I don't remember any difficulties. Would stay again.
We booked this Best Western in Springfield, MO because it was listed and a Best Western Plus hotel. Previously we had stayed in another Best Western Hotel in Springfield but decided to "upgrade" to a Plus. This hotel did not meet the expectations of a "Plus" hotel; in fact the previous regular Best Western Hotel was much better. The floor of our room had been damaged and may have had water damage as the wook plank ends were sticking up and were scarred. Although it is a convenient location, it was an average experience at best. I would not recommend this hotel unless some necessary upgrades were made.
Great location two blocks off I44. Close to restaurants, gas stations and Walmart is across the street. (They have Red Box there.) The property is reminiscent of older motels. However, it is renovated with very modern decor. Two inviting outdoor pools (though it was too cool to get in). Great yard area with a swings, a slide and lots of grass and trees. It is a pet-friendly hotel, though we didn't bring our pet along on this trip. Comfortable beds and nice bath. Microwave, frig and coffee in room. Also wifi and computer access in the front lobby. Wonderful hot breakfast including eggs/potato/sausage (or eggs), sausage links, waffles, gravy, biscuits, assorted sweet rolls, muffins, juices, etc. Great service!! We had questions about using the provided DVD player, and the staff was happy to assist us.
I've stayed here before and, again, had a great room, good breakfast, etc. But the internet service is infuriating in that every other click resulted in new tabs or new windows with ads. Maybe they changed vendors since my last stay.
I'm normally a high-maintenance person that is hesitant to reserve rooms at places with motel layouts, but I was pleasantly surprised by my stay here and glad I took the chance. I had a 1-king room and it was very spacious and extremely clean (even with checking the mattress and sheets...yes, I'm paranoid like that. Kudos to BW's cleaning team). The bed was soft and comfy, with the bathroom being nicely renovated. Aside from the awkwardness of seeing people walk past my room, this room is certainly good value for your money considering its cleanliness and comfort. I would definitely stay again!
EXCELLENT: convenience of location, attractiveness, cleanliness, breakfast, staff, service, breakfast, price, etc., etc., etc. I make our reservations directly with the motel - awesome! If you are coming to Springfield to visit a college student in that town, mention that and say a few words to verify your travel (not required) and you are given a discount. The place to stay when in Springfield!!!
very good hotel! just passing through working my way home! I would stay here again if i was going through this town again! A little better price for a diamond member would be great! breakfast was a little bland!
great hotel and service. Close to a lot of restaurants as well as one on property. Everyone was quite friendly and helpful. Room had a DVD player and lots of available outlets close to the bed so I didn't have to charge my phone across the room.
We were tired from driving from mount Rushmore and need some sleep. The bed were ok and the room was really nice. Mike the night front desk person was really helpful when our tv would not work. He came to the room and reprogrammed the channels and stayed there till it was finished. It was 15 min. The breakfast was ok but the breakfast room needs to be bigger. There was a lot of people wanting to eat but not enough room or tables. The food kept running out and took a while to replenish it. The potatoes and biscuits and gravy were the best there. Will return in future.
I have stayed here on two or three occasions for 7+ days per visit, when travelling for work. I chose this hotel specifically because of the Trip Advisor reviews and I was certainly not disappointed! For the price, you won't get a better hotel in Springfield. The weekly rate cannot be beat. I found the staff to be very friendly, the rooms clean, and the breakfast is unreal! Highly recommend the Best Western Coach House.
Room was clean, property was super clean. Nicest staff our whole trip. Best breakfast. I was not sure how this place would be because it's been awhile since I stayed at a best western but the price was great and overall it was the best hotel/motel on our entire trip. Thanks Best Western
This place is so cute and clean and has been updated with nice amenities. The staff is so friendly. He hotel is GREAT about dogs, who have their own green space and they provide complimentary poop bags!! There is a fantastic free breakfast with quality food.
This hotel was clean and newly renovated. The decor was beautiful. The breakfast was great - warm and delicious. The front desk staff and the breakfast staff were both extremely helpful and friendly. The beds were very comfortable and provided a restful night sleep.
The staff is so extremely nice and courteous. The rooms are wonderful and relaxing. It was very convenient for us do laundry and regroup during our weekend stay. We were passing through for work and deeply regretted that we couldn't stay longer. HIGHLY recommend this hotel!
Comfortable, clean, friendly staff at a great price. Arrived after dark in a downpour. The check in person got us a room on higher ground so we wouldn't have to unpack in standing water. I don't like to rate hotels because it seems to be picky, but the property deserves praise.
Very clean hotel with a very unique layout. Looks like a hotel you would find on old route 66 back in the day. Best hotel with exterior corridors I have ever stayed in. Rooms are nice and the breakfast was great.
Good place for a quick overnight stop while driving through. Just off the interstate. Has a sprawling old school motel layout with all exterior doors and parking right next to your room. Rooms are smaller than you'd find in a more modern hotel, but they are kept up well enough for the price point that this bw offers. I've stayed here a couple times and the staff is always friendly. Breakfast is good. Great value for a quick stop.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were told about a way to earn a $25 gift card by staying one more time at a Best Western. The lobby is very welcoming and the breakfast offered was really delicious. They offer waffles, eggs, sausage, oatmeal, various breads and bagels, cereals, cinnamon rolls, juices, coffee, teas, milk, and biscuits and gravy. The room was very pretty, but could have been vacuumed a little more thoroughly.
The Best Western Coach house continues to provide an excellent place to stay and relax after a day of business. Checking in I was upgraded the a king suite and the room was perfect working and relaxing for the night.
10 out of 10 staff and food was great No complaints or issues, We were attending a funeral and the staff allowed us to use a banquet room for our family to have a place for meeting with us and stop before returning home from funeral. Manager called me back within 5 minutes of my request to use banquet room and we just had to clean it up, This made our trip memorable and an enjoyable stay! Highly recommend this hotel for any stay in the Springfield area.
I was very pleased with my stay. The room was comfortable with a table big enough to set out my laptop and working files. The breakfast was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The coffee wasn't hot but more luke-warm. But the staff was very friendly and went beyond by refilling coffee cups.
This hotel was awesome. The staff was wonderful, the rooms were wonderful, the breakfast was wonderful. I recommend anyone to use this hotel. They are AWESOME!! The staff are excellent to work with over the phone. They are very polite, courteous and willing to help out anyway possible they can.
Clean, comfortable stay with nice people. Have stayed here many times and enjoy the ground floor rooms. Convenient location to everything in Springfield and easy to get in and out of. We call this our "go to" when traveling to Springfield. We like to visit the town to shop and relax and enjoy nice restaurants.
We had a lot of options for a room in Springfield, MO when we came to town to see a show. I searched around for places to stay under $99 and read reviews and this location had really nice reviews. The staff were very helpful, professional and friendly. The room appeared to be very recently remodeled and was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast offered was quite good. The best part was how quiet is was. I slept well.
The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant had the best homemade soup and the club sandwich was the best one I every had...anywhere!! If we are ever in this area again, we would definitely stay here and would hope others would give it a try.
Stayed during a conference in the area. Room appeared recently remodeled. A little inconvenient being in a room so far from the fitness center and breakfast area, but with motels that can happen. bed was very comfortable.
One night stay for business. We stay at this hotel often for business and normally have a very good experience. This time wasn't as good as we are use to, but would still not hesitate to stay here. Large rooms, with nice amenities. We had some issues with hot water but didn't report it to the desk until checkout. I had booked thru a third party rather than thru the hotel this time, and it felt like we weren't as valued as when booking thru the hotel directly at check in. Do plan to continue to stay at this hotel in the future though.
My wife and I stayed at the Best Western Plus-Coach house and the first thing my wife stated was how nice it was to pull right up to your front door and walk in. We did not have to fight stairs or elevator's, just park and walk in. Rooms were nice and attractive and we liked the old charm with the ceiling fans and Route 66 charm. Later in the night we pulled in one of the metal tables from outside and used it to play cards in the room. We had a great time and would recommend it to others.
excellent and restful. location was close to where appointments were and staff was more than kind and gracious. breakfast was run of the mill and the instant eggs were not real good. other amenities were of good quality and i enjoyed the peacefulness of the facility
Staff were very helpful and courteous. Rooms were extremely large, which was well appreciated. Was able to use Trivago to get a good rate. I also arrived at 2am with my son, thinking I would be turned daway, but was able to get room.
Very nice room. Great breakfast area for handicap to get around in. Good food. The Town was having a dog show and many dogs were there. We heard nothing. It was nice to look out the window and see the beautiful animals. Overall it's a quiet and very nice place. One that we will use in the future on our travels south.
I love the fact I didn't have to take elevators/stairs to my room. Bed so comfortable, slept like a baby. No thin walls, so no one keeping me awake. Wonderful people, so kind, so helpful. I was on my way home from 18 days on the road, it was late. I knew I could count on Best Western for a good night sleep and a great breakfast.
This property was very well put together. I have been working in the hotel business for a few years now and I was so impressed with my room (especially how nice the bathroom was) and the facilities. The staff was also extremely accommodating, Amanda (I think) was extremely helpful and very professional. The only issue I had with this hotel was how noisy the housekeepers were. The walls are pretty thin when you are banging a vacuum into them ;) I will be staying here every time I visit Springfield! Thank you for the wonderful experience!
Stayed here on our way to Branson for the night. The staff (especially Amber) was terrific. The facilities are really nice. The breakfast was on the better ones we've had. Our room was nice and big and had newer furniture (not the same old vanity and sink). Love having the make up mirror. This place is very warm and inviting both inside and out.
We stopped and stayed here on our way to Branson. We got there during the most horrible rain storm we've seen in years. The staff (especially Amber) was awesome. She was sweet and professional. The facilities are beautiful. Great location and easy to find. The breakfast (one of the better ones we've eaten at a hotel) was delicious and well thought out.
Very noisy cleaning staff. Started two hours before check out. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful. Rooms were OK. No hot water in the shower. Outside of hotel was very clean and well kept. Would stay there again but would not be my first choice.
We generally avoid motels, but this Best Western in Springfield is great! The rooms aren't luxurious by any means, but they're comfortable, very clean, spacious, and decorated nicely. Everything is up to date, the in-room amenities are nice (fast internet connection, plenty of TV stations, big fridge). There's not a lot of space to put face wash, etc. in the bathroom sink area, so a future remodel should add a small shelf. But this was a minor concern. Breakfast was great, the staff were very nice, check-in was a breeze, and the location was great -- very close to lots of stuff, but not noisy or difficult to get into or out of. We've stayed here a couple of times and would definitely stay again if traveling through the same area.
we always stay here because it is convenient. And we always know what to expect! The attendents are courteus and polite and help in anyway they can to make your stay comfortable! That is why we always choose the best western!
They quoted me a higher price than Trip Advisor, and when I showed them the TA rate, they matched it! I normally stay at another large chain, but the prices there were $40 higher. Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms! A non-smoking room that didn't smell like cigarettes. Good wifi. Great customer service. For $61 per night, it CAN'T be beat!
Thought we would try this Best Western Plus, because we have had good luck with other ones. First we were surprised that the rooms had outside doors, which is a lot easier to unload. All the rooms where on the ground level, which was nice, where our room was it was a little bit of a hike to the lobby in 40 degree weather. Our room was a very nice size with a king size bed, that was not to hard or soft. My husband was excited about the recliner and the refrigerator in our room. The location was easy on and off 44. The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast, most of the people arrived including us around 8:30 am and they were out of plates, hot food, and silverware.
Stayed here in November 2015 while on business in Springfield. Very convienent location, with may good restaurants within walking distance. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was large and well appointed with microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast included both hot and cold items and was well stocked. The room was very clean and well maintained. Nice grounds including a playground, sitting areas and outdoor pools. Would definitely stay here again.
This is a very good place to stay; convenient; clean; friendly, helpful staff; reasonable price; decent breakfast; comfortable beds; pet friendly. It's an older motor court Best Western has rehabbed in a quality manner. I love the park area in the middle. also has a pool, seasonal.
We have stayed here before and every time it was the best! Would recommend this one to everyone. Breakfast is great. Rooms are always clean. Parking right outside your room. Employees are very nice and informative. Eateries within walking distance. Location to gas and interstate within minutes! Great Stay.
Big King suite. Nice wood furnishings. More elegant than budget. Back patio with furniture, Older style with door facing the parking lot. Well kept grounds with green areas and playground. super nice staff, and looks like food will be good.
Always enjoy this hotel when staying in Springfield. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Great location. I stay here often for business, and would highly recommend and not hesitate to come back. A+
This visit was all about the jacuzzi. My husband suffers from migraines and so we tried the room with the jacuzzi. It was a wonderful room. The room was immaculate and very nice. The people were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet the next morning was great! Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, whatever you wanted was there. Great trip!
Has walking area for pets & provide baggies for, well you know. Clean rooms & friendly staff. Continental breakfast good if you like cereal. Coffee very bad. Room heaters a little noisy. Overall a good value & would bring my dog back.
We were tired from driving and the young lady at the desk took less than 10 minutes to check us in. She included a map to show us how to get to our room and it was wonderful. Since my daughter is handicapped the bathroom was more than I expected! It was clean fully stocked and the bed was just heavenly! I would stay there again anytime!
Very rarely stay at Best Western hotels, but needed a handicap room that I could drive up to the door. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The rooms are fine, old so a certain amount of mold is detectable if you have allergies. The breakfast room was nice and we'll attended plus the food was fine. Except for the overwhelming sweet smell of some sort of air deodorizer or candles. Way too much for me, gave me a headache, so I could not stay there and eat. Which was disappointing for me. My bathtub did drain, and it took them two days to fix it, but the management compensated me for the inconvenience. Which was super nice instead of a just, "sorry. " Not a horrible place, but the rooms need updating.
The Rooms are very large and clean and the staff bent over backwards to meet our needs. The breakfast was large but if that was not to your liking there is a great restaurant next door. My family stays here every time we come to Springfield and has never been disappointed. There are a ton of hotels to choose from but once you stay here you won't go any where else.
The rooms looked newly renovated. All the furniture and fixtures looked new, and the rooms were immaculate (we had two different rooms there). The service was great, and everyone was really helpful. The breakfast was really good and it was the biggest selection I ever had for a complimentary breakfast, which included, sausage, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, and waffles. There were a lot of cold breakfast item choices also. The only thing I didn't like was that they used a strong air freshener in the rooms and my friend and I both have allergies and we had to tell them not to spray our rooms. So if you have allergies you might want to tell them when you make a reservation. It took 2 days for the sent to wear off.
This is a great little motor court motel. Friendly staff, exceptionally clean and comfy rooms. All the important amenities for an overnight stop. We appreciated the extremely comfortable bed, the leather lounge chair, microwave and frig. The location is great as well, right off I-44 with many choices for dinner.
I normally don't like the old fashioned motel lodge type hotels as they usually seem run down but not this one. It is a beautiful hotel with a large grassy area with mature trees if you happen to have a dog with you. The rooms are recently remodeled and very clean and comfortable. It is very convenient as you can park right by your door. The staff is very helpful and friendly and you can walk to nearby restaurants. Love this hotel and staff!
We checked in on a busy Thursday for the long weekend. Love this old style hotel where you can drive up to the front door and park outside your door. Nicely renovated room with a great bathroom and counter top in the room for the microwave and fridge. This would be the ideal room set up in any hotel. Our room was larger than some and very comfortable. Walls for an older hotel are a little thin and the guests next door did not believe in the quiet hours any night we were there. the front desk tried to ask them to quiet down and 2 am and those guests simply laughed it off. Thank goodness the TV had a sleep timer and we could find a program to drown out their lack of the need to sleep. Breakfast was one of the best we have ever experienced. The custom coffee machine in the front lobby was a welcome bonus!! Very dog friendly as we were in town for the dog show.
We found the Coach House Best Western Plus to be very comfortable and attractive. We had stayed here a few times in the past and enjoyed it, but since they have remodeled it, we found it to be worth the plus grade. The rooms are attractively furnished. The breakfast area has been enlarged about 3 times as big with more variety offered. What was the breakfast area is now a comfortable lobby/lounge. The bed was comfortable and the price was reasonable.
We appreciate the fine staff, overall appearance, comfort, excellent breakfast, convenience as to location, and above all -- the rate reduction because we are visiting a student (our granddaughter) who is a student at Missouri State University in Springfield, MO
Overall this is a great hotel/motel for the money. The room was nicely furnished - had a leather recliner. The bed was very comfortable. The room temperature controller worked well. We were in room 224. Rooms 220 to 230 are in the back of the property so are very quiet. The maid service was very good. The morning breakfast was the typical free breakfast but had good choices and the food was good. There is a lot to be said for a hotel where you can park in front of your room - no lugging bags into a lobby and then up an elevator.
every one was very helpful and easy to get along with will recommend to all that makes it to springfield mo. the staff and the facilities were first rate and the room it self was very clean and tidie thanks timmer
My husband and I stayed here for four nights while we were attending a local venue on business. This motel had offered our group a reduced rate. I wish I had paid more and stayed at a better quality facility. The room overall had some good features but negatives were so bad it was hard to notice the good. The carpet was so stained and dirty I felt I must wear flip flops whenever walking around; the door opens directly to the sidewalk outside so shampooing the carpet needs to be done frequently, but this needed replaced. The mattress was awful; one of those that was firm only on the sides with a valley in the middle. I felt like I was clinging to the side in order not to roll into the hole in the center. We considered asking for a different room, but we had already unpacked, and I didn't know if another would be any better.
"Coach House" means ol' school "motel". Single story, park in front and five steps to your room. As a frequent "chain hotel" traveler, I had forgotten how convenient this architecture is. The Best Western Plus had been refurbished. New carpet, furnishings, towels, linen and an excellent bed. The location was quiet and comfortable. The air conditioning system was quiet. The non-smoking room did have a smoke detector. The only down side I found was that the bathroom was small, as was the tub/shower. Checking in, I asked the staff if I had the best rate on the reservation from Best Western. They did check and found a less expensive rate that worked for our visit. Thank you for that courtesy. We'll be back!
Excellent service, clean facilities, quiet location, great breakfast! Everything you want in a night away from home. From the time we checked in to checkout the next morning there was nothing I would change. We will definitely be back again.
Stayed at Best Western many times. Great location off the interstate and nice restaurants and stores. The staff is very good and helpful. We return to this motel every year. Pet friendly! Best lounge chair in every room for those who might have trouble sleeping.
My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night. The room was very nice but we had some issues. One being that the fridge and t.v. were not hooked up properly – we had to move the stand to find that it just wasn't plugged in. My husband and I used the Jacuzzi tub, but when we went to climb out, discovered that we only had hand towels and washcloths – no full-sized towels to dry off with! He did his best with one of the hand towels then went to the desk to report the issue. The staff gave us a stack of clean towels, a baggie of incidentals, and discounted the room for us which I was very satisfied with, but my husband was still very upset that I had to sit in the tub waiting for us to get towels because it was freezing cold once you stepped out of the hot water and couldn't dry off right away.
Our stay was for a college graduation and homecoming weekend. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The Hotel area is quaint. We appreciated the cleanliness and quiet and clean property.
The room was large and easy to move around. The bathroom was clean and accessible too. The staff were all professional and friendly. The selection for breakfast was light and healthy. I really enjoy my stay here!
highly recommended excellent hotel. very friendly staff. very clean rooms. very reasonable price. restaurant was very clean and staff was very friendly. we have stayed here twice in the past 3 weeks and will stay again when in the area
Good nights stay. Farm show going on but still plenty of food and room for breakfast. Clean and fresh smelling room. Staff helpful in helping us decide on restaurant in the evening along with keeping buffet stocked in morning.
Highly recommended, great breakfast, best in the area, great value for your dollars, great are attractions all within easy driving access. Several antique stores available, wide variety of restaurant options
We have stayed at this motel before. The room was not huge but adequate for my husband and I. The room/bathroom was very clean. However, when we first entered into the room the musty smell was overpowering! Either we got used to it or it dissipated once we turned up the A/C. Also, the outside door and bottom of the door jamb had a large gap and I put a towel on the floor in case any bugs tried to come in over night. The furniture is very nice, the staff was wonderful and they had a nice selection for breakfast. The grounds are beautiful! However, I don't think we will stay there again due to that smell. It really was quite overpowering... such a shame...
This AAA-3 diamond hotel is just off I-44. This one story motel design (park in front of your room) is well maintained. The full breakfast included yogurt, fruit salad, fresh fruit, juices, and the other typical breakfast items. Depending on your room location, it can take up to five minutes to walk outside to the dining room. If you have any physical limitations, request rooms 105- 110 (close to dining room and lobby). There are plenty of restaurants close to the hotel.
I made a prepaid reservation at the other Best Western in town by mistake as I needed to stay at a hotel with a Tesla charger for my car as I would be almost out of charge when I arrived. Despite the fact that both Best Westerns are owned by the same person, I was told in a rather perfunctory manner, that I would not be permitted to use the charger. Had the room not been prepaid, I would have left and stayed at The Greenstay Inn whose staff were friendly and understanding of my dilemma and allowed me to fully charge my car. I will think twice before staying at a Best Western in the future as this was my first experience with this chain.
Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Lots of grass for walking your dog. Love that it is all one story. There is a restaurant close by and Walmart was right across the street. Accessible to everything!
Stay here every year while attending Street Machine Event. So far my rooms have always been spotless. I love the fact you can park outside your door. Staff is always friendly and the free breakfast hits the spot. Hotel has some nice features for a fairly inexpensive stay. I also like the fact that AppleBees and Culver's are right across street.
This place has always been a favorite as we travel through Springfield, MO. It's nice to pull up right outside your room. Beds are very comfortable. Clean and neat. Nice shower and bathroom facilities. The water seemed to be instantly hot when turning on sink faucet. Breakfast is hot with eggs, sausage, etc. We used a coupon from travel book found in rest areas and state welcome centers. Reasonable price even without coupon book.
