Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel

We are currently staying here and I would say it is the dirtiest room I have ever encountered. The only reason I know it was cleaned is the bed was made and garbages were emptied. Upon arrival the corner by the outdoor entrance to our room was full of dirt and very thick cobwebs that I knocked down myself because I was thinking that would be the worst of it. But while looking closer the ledges of the windows and ledges near the furnace/ac do not appear to have been dusted in quite some time either. It is also completely filthy behind the cabinet that holds the refrigerator and it sits 2-3 inches away from the wall so it's very noticeable without having to look hard. I have also found a few ants near the fridge that I killed so we will see if that was a fluke or continues. Also, found were the previous customers ear plugs hanging up and a makeup brush on the floor of the bathroom. We are here for the week and if I was able we would be finding a new place to stay for the week. It's too bad they can't keep a clean facility because the pool seems very inviting and fun for smaller children but we haven't got to even check that out yet.

My son and I give it a solid 3.5 stars, but rounded up to 4. My son is 11 and enjoyed the indoor pool area a lot. I found that area to be overall clean and in good shape. The big slide shot me and some other parents out fast and so that was fun! Be cautious when reserving rooms as some of the “pool view” rooms are indoors and face the pool area and so I'm guessing they would be really noisy. Like many hotels lots of hallway noise but our second floor room (away from the “pool view” ones thank goodness) was overall pretty quiet. We did have a problem with our toilet but maintenance arrived within minutes on a Wednesday night. Pretty impressive. We didn't partake in the breakfast either morning. Some of the hallways and stairways need attention and our room wasn't as clean as I would have liked, but none of it was that major. In the room it was just some dust here and there on things like the coffee maker, mirror, etc. The beds and bedding were fine. Parking is plentiful with many locked marked doors so you don't have to walk the whole building which is also very nice. Our biggest complaint was the heating system is the old kind where you have a separate unit by the window. It was incredibly loud and every time we turned it on it smelled like something was burning. Luckily it was March and in the 50s during the day and the room stayed a decent temperature both nights. I'm sure that is a very expensive change, but it's one of the things that shows the hotel's age. The hotel is in a great location near many of the transactions you'd want to see and near the freeway. Overall we'd suggest it and would stay there again. Just don't go expecting the Ritz. ;)

This establishment isn't trying very hard... I booked a room here to allow my kids to have some swim time. 1st off, they require wrist bands to be in the pool area but only give you 4 per room. I have a family of 6 (4 kids) so I had to buy two more wrist bands for $10 each. Ok, whatever no big deal, we'll go swim and order some food. NOPE signs on every table "no food aloud." Haha. Um... ok. Well let's just swim. Wait, why are there no towels on the shelves that are clearly marked to be where the towels go? I call down to the front desk and ask if we can get some more pool towels and I'm informed that they keep all the pool towels at the front desk. I said, "well that's interesting, because I'd never swam at the front desk before." It's clear that they are just cutting cost wherever they can at the expense of customer experience but this stuff is just silly. Kids loved the pool.

Not happy with water temperature of indoor pool, even the pool area temperature was very cold. Grandkids were freezing!! Highly over priced for an outdated hotel. Bathroom door handle was damaged. Breakfast was ok

After making reservations I called to confirm they would allow a late checkout at 2:30 because I had to work and they agreed. I confirmed the late checkout when I arrived. I called the front desk on the day I was to checkout and they confirmed the 2:30 was fine. The morning of checkout, after I had left for work, I received a phone call from the "manager" saying they would not allow the late checkout and that the best they could do is checkout at 12:00. Not only did I end up loosing 3 hours of wages because of this, having to leave work earlier than planned, but the manager was so completely rude on the phone. Her attitude was snooty, unpolite and her tone was coarse and brutish. She offered to let me stay for the additional 2.5 hours if I paid for half a day but then said half of $139 which is not what I paid for the room in the first place. I had just stayed here 2 weeks before and they honored the 2:30 time, but apparently they only honor what they say occasionally.

I accidently left my lulu bag with wallet and cash in the hotel. I called immediately after, and they claimed it was never there but I know exactly where I left it in there. I am sure that the housekeepers took it. I know that it is my fault for leaving it but still, it had my wallet, cash, and license they could have easily returned. The bag alone costed $60. It is just very upsetting to see how greedy and unthoughful they are.

Had a wonderful time. I room was just barley big enough for 4 of us (one infant) got a poolside room and loved it except for the first night. Teenagers were there for what seemed like a track meet and there was about 20+ of them who used the slide at the same time and wouldn't give any one else a chance to go down it. Security came after about 30 mins wish they would have came a bit sooner.

Room was very clean, great amenities and value for cost, indoor pool area was very fun and clean. Hotel smelled nice - no usual "value hotel smell." Staff was very friendly & helpful. Had pizza and wings in restaurant - they were very good! Service in restaurant is a bit slow, though. Overall, fantastic stay!

the only good thing at the hotel was they did accept dogs the price was outrageous,continental breakfast was as good as the cheapest hotels but at least they have waffle makers. I wouldn't stay there again unless I had no choice.

The rooms need redoing the water park is really good and it's pretty 2hours turned into 2 minutes but then they couldn't find our room but it's a nice room and I'm still here and it's really good Good place to stay at if your in South Dakota

I have stayed here multiple times, this visit however was the worst I have ever been treated as a customer in my life! we waited almost 30 min for someone arrive at the front desk and check us in and then were treated very rudely, the hotel is great place for kids and the swim park is pretty cool, However, as a business owner, if I was made aware of how my employee was behaving, I would be looking into it and/or they would be terminated.

a previous guest left stinky food in the microwave. the problem is that the staff doesnt clean. not only did we discover the stinky food, but there were dead bugs in the corner of the room along with several cobwebs in another corner. the waterpark facility is overrun by wild kids that are not watched by parents. the waterslide however, does need a team member permitting kids to go down safely as we watched other older children get hurt from going down head first and many kids going down the waterslide at once. have stayed at several other much nicer best westerns. the breakfast was minimal. the onsite dinner choice was a bar - not customer friendly. i was turned off when inquiring about dinner. ordered pizza instead, wasnt our first choice but figured that service would be terrible at dinner.

I found the property to be very clean. All of the staff, from check-in to breakfast service, to cleaning staff walking the halls - we welcoming and professional. Whenever passing a staff I was always greeted and asked if there was anything I needed. The breakfast service was one of the better I've had. Options were standard, but the typical scrambled hotel eggs actually tasted and presented like they were real scrambled eggs that hadn't been stirred into little bb balls. It's a good place to stay.

Air Conditioning was horrible everytime it turned on it started with a bang very loud horrible noise. Shower didn't drain or was very slow draining. Room was generally clean and organized. Breakfast was one f the best I have had excellent with plenty of foods.

Hotel is definitely out dated, but we were not going for the fancy. Price was great for what we got. Pool area could use some work but did not hinder the kids from playing. At check in lady seemed like she had a little attitude and little boy helped us check in (odd). Same little boy brought us towels the next day. Last night there is where it went down hill. My car was broken into. Spoke to the same lady at check in again seem like she had an attitude because I wanted to speak to a manager. Was disappointed to find out no camera's outside but they have security. They didn't offer me anything and just said sorry. That kind of sucked and didn't feel like they cared. The breakfast was good. Like the variety and other staff we encountered were friendly. 50/50 on if I'd stay again because of the car break in. Had that of not happen I 100% would.

Price was reasonable. Room was nice, large and clean. Breakfast was great as was the onsite restaurant for dinner. The outdoor pool and sitting area was very nice. Easy to get to from I-29 and easier to access I-29 when leaving.

The auditoriums are great - whether presenting or listening, the facility is well done. The projector, mike and screen works great. Love presenting here. So close to the hotel rooms - very convenient.

Had several doctor's appointments and due to the current weather in the area, we opted to go the night before. This facility is clean, in a safe area, and easy access to I29. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Well, I went to my room and got all settled in and then the adjoining room was so loud I could hear every word they were saying. There was also a big booger on the ceiling with nose hairs in it. Not sure why they put me in a room adjoining with another on a Monday night when it was fairly empty. The new room was better except the TV is on dark mode and it's hard to see. Called and googled but it never got fixed. Ordered some food then got a call back that the fish didn't smell good and the cook wouldn't serve it. Appreciated the concern so i ordered something else and it was very good.

Price of the room was not what it was during reservations. Bathtub in the room did not drain correctly. Not able to eat by the pool anymore. Staff was very rude and unhelpful. We used to love this hotel, but won't be staying here again.

Attractive, cozy, elegant, and most of all very comfortable this trip basically was for our New Year's day and my grandson. He wanted to go swimming and he loves going to nice hotels with water parks so it was basically really for him but we enjoyed it immensely.

We stayed in a suite with 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms were large and beds and furniture comfortable. Pull out sofa was also very comfortable. Would recommend a stay during the middle of the week as the pool area is not as busy and the rooms are a lower rate. The inhouse restaurant has a limited menue and doesn't open until 5 but the food and service is great. Breakfast is a typical continental breakfast with plenty of seating.

The hotel changed my room type because they said they overbooked. So that meant that my room type I booked months ago was arbitrarily changed because someone else wanted it. Never have I been so disregarded as a guest in a hotel. I was very proactive and booked a specific room, at a much higher rate mind you, because it's what worked best for my family. We have small children and needed quick access to from the pool the the room. I booked the room we needed, but was told at check in that my reservation had been changed because they overbooked. Furthermore, it was because someone who booked before me wanted to stay longer. They then tried to say they tried to call me but my phone number was invalid (absolutely untrue). I called three different times that day to see about early check in and it was never once mentioned that my reservation was being disregarded and changed.

Worst hotel experience iv ever had. Pool room was freezing heated pools didnt feel heated hot tub was broken the game room is permanently closed. Halls were dirty walls in my room and halls need to be scrubbed. Beds are hard as concrete. Left to go to my dr appointments and dinner came back to my hotel room door wide open. Called the front desk and they were so rude to me and said the maid must have forgotten to close it behind her but the maid never should of been in my room considering I had the privacy please sign up. After being on hold for 25 minutes with the front desk they told me they couldn't help me and that the district manager would contact me in the morning and I still haven't heard from said manager.

My kid's cross country team rented 30 rooms for about 100 parents and teenage runners from the Best Western Plus Ramkota in Sioux Falls last week. Everyone said this was a very nice hotel for the group! My experience with the reservations and catering personnel was 100% five-star. Real people always answer the phone at this hotel, which can be uncommon these days. I worked with Ashley at the front desk, Haley in group reservations, and Michelle in catering, and with every interaction each of them was extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Honestly I was so pleasantly surprised at how easy they made it to get 30 rooms. As a bonus, the price was right. This hotel will be our first choice for next year's trip.

Broken or missing door safety latches. Sewer smell in rooms. Uncaring staff no housekeeping services. Full of excuses. Regency Hotel Management doesn't seem to care anymore. Every Ramkota I've been in in last year or two has gone down hill fast.

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Had a poolside room, which was great with small kids using the wonderful pool. Pool was fun for my 6 year old. Downside is pool towels were not in the pool area, just had to walk to the front desk for towels each day. Breakfast was good, easy parking and access to rooms. Overall will stay here again.

We were here for a conference and very pleasantly surprised how nice the staff was and the condition of the venue. I heard no complaints from the other persons in my group and I certainly would stay here again

My husband and I used our "Free Night" voucher to stay at the Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel in Sioux Falls, SD, and we had a wonderful visit. The room was exactly as we requested, and it matched the beautiful pictures on the website. The bed was comfortable, the room was immaculate, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciated being able to park directly outside our room and take our dog outside to do his business. We will be back!

The staff was amazing and so helpful. The desk clerk went out of her way to help me by letting me use her personal phone charger to charge my work phone so that I could handle my job obligations remotely. Her kindness allowed me to remain focused at the conference. It was a great stay, thank you for the hospitality!

Don't waste your money here they don't clean the pool area at all that was obvious. 209 without tax from a 4pm check in to 11 am check out. Rooms are VERY small. Staff tried to pet my dog when I said no touch 4 times! Lost a bag of shoes 2 pair nikes 1 pair of burkenstocks & of course they say "we didn't see any shoes" that 4 to 9am stay cost us 250 plus the loss of the shoes! Not going back. I wouldn't recommend it at all. The photos online look NOTHING like the pool does when you get there. Sure the activities do but the water the air vents and floor are BLACK!

This hotel has a great Waterpark to keep the kids busy, clean and comfortable rooms and a helpful staff! It is a great value and I will stay there everytime I come through that way. Also great food delivery is available.

Desk guy Austin was the best. Super helpful and property was nice and was very well taken care of. Breakfast was really good compare to most any hotels I have stayed at. Everything was perfect but Austin was the best! Great place to stay. Thanks Ricky

We stayed here on our way to Sturgis. Nice clean rooms. Great outdoor pool. They also have a bar & restaurant. Nice place to stay. We would stay here the next time we are in the area. They also had lots of parking if you are pulling trailer.

Overall, satisfied with stay. However, the pool could use a deep clean. Grime along edges of all water areas and black mold on pool walking areas. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was hot and good. My only gripe, we didn't order a 830 wakeup call! Why does housekeeping find it necessary to pound on your door! We were not checked out. Luckily, kids stayed sleeping. Annoying!!! Would we go back? Possibly. We were there to swim and spend time with family so facilities served the purpose.

The hotel staff was fabulous- group reservations were handled with no issues. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Been travelling for work with A group for several years and this was the best experience hands down.

we had fun but noticed this hotel could use some updates. They also automatically charge for services such as movie watching even though we didn't use it. We did get the credit after calling and 5 days later.

excellent water park for kids, good location off freeway, great breakfast. check-in was very slow. kids wanted to get in the pool, but staff took at least 30 minutes to get us checked in and into the pool.

Would not recommend. There was a lot that went wrong with this place. We stayed here for the pool, which was pretty nice but there were some major issues. First of all, there was no sense of security here. The side entrance that said to use your key card to enter was never locked. The area of town does not seem great. Also, when I asked for another key to my room, the front desk didn't verify anything for the guests safety. I offered an ID and he didn't even look at it. Anyone could have had a key to our room. On top of that, the bathroom smelled like urine. We had to wear flip flops in the shower because it just didn't feel clean. I would stay somewhere else.

The outdoor and indoor pools were a blast for our kids, which made me happy. So did the unexpected large size of our room. The indoor pool could have been warmer, though, and having to get pool towels from the front desk is annoying, so we just dried off the second time with very damp towels from earlier (some of which were almost washcloth-sized and wouldn't even wrap around my average-sized husband's waist). Oh well. The air was pretty warm in there and so we dried a little faster. Also, I was disappointed not to see a little convenience store type of option near check-in in such a large hotel. I wanted to pick up an OTC item, and access to a couple cheap postcards would have been appreciated. But, just those 3 pieces of feedback. Other than that, the room was great and we had a blast swimming.

So you think when you pay $220 a night for a poolside room you'd be able to bring a family of five to use the pool area(even to sit poolside) included. NOPE! They give you four wrist bands only and can pay $10 for any additional ones or if you lose them you pay $10! 4 security guys working the pool but yet we have to go to the front desk(which is a pain to navigate to) to get our towels! But hey, the rooms are still like new from 1986! And don't forget, 15 tables poolside but you can't eat there, but you can go to the outdoor pool and eat in the courtyard area. Front desk is dead serious and will not give one bit from the rules also.

Very clean hotel, comfy beds, friendly staff. Rooms are great size and seem to have been redone in recent years. Fun pool area for kids. The hotel has a decent restaurant with a good menu selection. Huge salads! Great location and easy to access.

We have stayed here before. All the improvements made by hotel and staff are wonderful! The customer service of all staff we encountered was phenomenal. This was the best experience in a hotel. Excited to return next year!

The first hour at this hotel we were treated horribly by the front desk staff and the manager. The room was shabby, ugly and the bathroom was dirty. The king size bed had three small pillows. The manager told me that that was all you get for a king size bed. He did get us a couple of more and handed me the pillow cases to put on them. The bed looked like it was made by a small child! The key card did not work, the luggage rack was broken. The manager got me another however pointed out that " no one used them any more". He did clean the bathroom. The heating was practically none existent and very loud. When I asked the manager his name "for the review" he got really nice and asked if there was anything at all he could do for us! The price of the room was twice what we paid the next night for another much nicer room with FIVE pillows for the king bed, spotless, and had a luggage rack!

This Best Western Ramkota is placed in a great location with nice parking and ease of access to interstate travel. It is also located close to Great shots (similar to Top Golf) which is a fantastic place to eat and hit golf balls.

A little run down, but rooms are remodeled and the pool was fun. The hotel had a military discount, otherwise these rooms probably would have been too expensive for us. I liked how there was a casino/bar on site too.

The staff from front desk, bar, restaurant went above and beyond for our family stay The pool was excellent for all ages. Was the perfect winter get-away the Shuttle to and from the event we were going to was very prompt and worked with our schedule

There was lots of dust in room and pool area. Room so dark that there was probably more than what I could see. The heater had a very noticeable amount of dust on vent areas, Curtains. Walls. Ewe. There were leaves in the pool area under the slide. It is January. Where did the leaves come from? Who cleans the pool area. Nasty! You don't have to search the filth it's very obvious. We tried eating at the in house restaurant but the bartender/waitress was overwhelmed and rude we just left.

very expensive, breakfast not included, staff is rude, rooms are cramped, unreasonable restrictions around pool area, they do not allow food anywhere in the pool area not even where the tables are. staff accused us of having a pool party at their expense - what?

This hotel was terrible. We paid 165 dollars for a room that was filthy and smelly. We also spent an extra 70 dollars at the hotel restaurant for some of the worst food and service I have ever had. We chose this hotel for our kids to swim in the pool, however, the pool was so cold our kids only swam for 20 minutes because their lips were blue. The "security" guards in the pool area patrolling food consumption is ridiculous. They were completely rude and unnecessary. You wont hire a life guard but you will hire a guy to walk around and tell my kid not to eat veggie straws? There were so many things wrong with this stay, that we will never stay there again!

We stayed here for a Taekwondo tournament that was onsite. This is a large, old-school style resort that has internal courtyards that some of the rooms face. You can get lost here! Decor is a bit tired, but clean. Service from staff was great. Our first room was down the hall from a loud party room, so they thankfully moved us, despite the resort being fully booked. Our clock wasn't working in the new room, and they promptly replaced it. I liked the on site restaurant as we arrived late at night and the hostess graciously offered to deliver a takeout meal to our room. We did not use the water park. The breakfast buffet wasn't great, considering we paid extra for it. The eggs were runny and they did not have yogurt or fresh fruit. I would stay here again for the convenience of being on-site for an event, but not necessarily for a getaway.

Was granted a late check out after requesting. The following morning, housekeeping came into our room without being let in, came a second time and was advised we were checking out at 1 3rd a man accused us of lying about late checkout. Very unprofessional!

I am super upset with the service at this hotel, Cindy at the front desk was the rudest person I have ever experienced. I called and asked twice for blankets as we were using the pullout bed in our room. On my second call she told me that there were no blankets, they had given them all out. I was super upset at this point and went down to the front desk to figure out how a hotel doesn't have enough blankets for all their beds. Cindy was busy on her phone, and finally noticed I was there. I told her I was extremely upset, and had the audacity to motion with her hand as a "slicing" across her mouth to "shh" me. And not only did she do this once, she did it 3 times. I am the customer, paying over $300 for a suite room, to be told there are no blankets and she is "shh-ing" me? Honestly. Also, we stay at this hotel often because our kids love it, but the water in the pool is freezing cold. I am not sure we will return after this, especially if Cindy is working there. What poor customer service.

We stayed here for a trade show held in the event center on the property on October 29, 2021. The room was clean and roomy. The only problem I have had is getting a receipt. Sign at front desk said to leave key in box when checking out if desk was not staffed. I have talked with staff ( including the manager) three times and was assured that the receipt was being e-mailed to me. I have not received it. Our tv remote was not working and staff replaced the batteries in a timely manner. Instructions for use of remote/ tv would be very helpful. I was charged 21 dollars for a movie that I was told I watched - which I would not have watched had I known there was a charge. Changes need to be made to make viewer aware that there is a charge for a movie and twenty one dollars is a bit excessive.. Nice place to stay but do not use tv. Do whatever you can to get receipt before you leave.

This hotel needs to clean up its act. Complete bad experience from beginning to end. Staff is rude, not helpful. found bugs in my bed, they moved me to a different room at 2am, and only took $50 off my bill. I also found a tooth in a bag in my bed.

Motels that are pet friendly often fall shot in the area outdoors for walking dogs. The Sioux Falls Ramkota location has ample grassy areas AND in well lit areas! I felt safe and that certainly isn't always the case at motels walking my dogs after dark.

Sloppy bartender. Bring your own refreshments. No room cleaning staff at all during my stay. Bed not made, towels not taken and replaced. No in room safe for valuables. Overall, except for the sloppy bartender, the staff was very respectful and helpful.

We held a wedding at emerald pines barn and choose best western for their location and promise of a shuttle to and from the venue. The first night we stayed there we asked the staff if there was an area we could congregate after our rehearsal to hang out with wedding party. We were offered a hallway away from rooms near amphitheater. This worked perfectly as we are a larger group and did not want the noise to affect the other guests. As we utilized the room the same manager who said we could use the hallway came up to us at 11:30 and began screaming and I do mean screaming at our wedding party for still being in the area. No time was ever established by the manager to be gone by a certain time. When we asked what the issue was or if any guests had complained the answer I received was no but the front desk could hear us. The manager continued to explain that the front desk check in individual had stated the brides parents have been coming up the the desk all night telling them staff that we are the center of attention at this hotel since we had a wedding party and that no other guests should be allowed in hotel. This is absolutely a ridiculous lie as the brides parents are in their 70s and had been asleep in their rooms for over 2.5 hours. The individual at the check out desk also continued to tell our guests that we do not Shuttle to and from the emerald pines barns which once again caused confusion and frustration for our guests. I had already spoke to Ted a manager at the seeing if we could get shuttle every 30 min from 3:30-11:30pm. He said that shouldn't be an issue yet the night of we did not see a single shuttle after 10:30 which is of course the time we needed them most. Overall I feel that the front desk staff was unprofessional in how the spoke to our guests, lied to our guests, and their overall rude demeanor they had. I will end on a positive note with the breakfast being very good and the wait staff there was very nice even though it was her second week working their. The hotels cleanliness was also good and the pool area was awesome.

Felt like it used to be really cool. Now the only thing cool about it is the spirit of the staff. I'm convinced that if I'd stayed literally anywhere else in the city I would have had a better value and better time. The staff openly lied to me, several times. The carpet in the room turned my white socks black with only a few minutes of walking around. The coffee maker filled the room with the acronym stench of cigarette smoke. There was sand in the bed sheets. The night clerk refused to even look for a crib for my infant, stating " mark I don't even know where those are if we have them". Honestly this looks like a place that makes their money off of conventions and business meetings because they're really large meeting rooms. Families probably still get suckered into going because they see the water slides and the pictures of the big pool, but those are old in need of maintenance and not worth the exorbitant price for terrible service, disgusting rooms, and poor management.

I stay at hotels often for work and every now and then you run across one that you just feel nasty to stay in, this place was it for me. Stains on the lampshade, mold in the air conditioner vents, extreme dust build up on the air conditioner to the point of it looking like it is growing hair just to name a few. I personally will not use this hotel again. which I took the photos to back up my review.

Friendly efficient staff….price competitive…..veterans discount……pool hot tub area were great and so much fun….room very clean….bed comfy….perfect overnight break in our road trip….. Would def stay again

At first glance the room looked ok.Then I noticed that the room went cleaned as throughly as it should be and it alarmed me because I had my children with me. The fact that COVID and the new variants are around is the need to sanitize and make sure the room was cleaned the proper and right way. The tv, the Windows, window sills, the nightstand and the lamp were caked with dust so thick that there was clumps when I ran my finger across the top of it like it hadn't been dusted in weeks. Literally. The night stand Harold food behind it as well as wrappers. The bathroom wasn't wiped down the lighting had spray streaks, the glass door of the shower had streaks consistently with water marks and there was hair on the shower. (&yes i got photos for verification)

We ate dinner at the restaurant and Tawanda made the experience really nice. She was courteous, smart, and efficient, and paid close attention to our picky food order (sharing a pizza, one of us vegetarian). She gets a 5-star rating from us!!

Stayed here to be close to family on a trip from Florida to Sioux Falls, tried to have a family gathering at the pool, even though the pool was empty and we were the only ones there, we could only have a few guests. The hotels excuse was that they couldn't allow multiple guest because it was a busy weekend but we only stayed till saturday morning leaving before the weekend got under way. The property manager went so far as to tell us we would be kicked out if the 2, 60 year olds that were not even swimming in the pool didnt leave because they didnt have a wrist band, even though there was no one in the pool area and we were only going to be there for 30-45 minutes. Very rude and aggressive and unreasonable.

This room felt luxurious with the firm, very large mattress and quality adult entertainment. Loved the wall-mounted padded headboard – very classy and the fresh feel and smell of the bedding. The temperature control was perfect and we had enjoyed our meal in the hotel restaurant which was very convenient and of high quality. Nice job Best Western! We had a great time on our stay.

The hotel was amazing. Large and clean. The staff was friendly and attentive. The beds were the best sleep I've had in a long time. That bathroom was GORGEOUS!! The products were top notch. A must stay if you're looking for a hotel in the area.

We decided to splurge for the poolside room. When we checked in we found out our “poolside” rooms were on the second floor. Even better the card readers for our “poolside” doors didn't work…no point in a ”poolside” room then! The pool water was COLD…disappointing for our littles that were too cold to swim after and hour. The rooms were not cleaned very well. There were crumbles along the floor and bed frame, hair along the shower ledge and untouched surfaces were FULL of dust. AND there was no toilet paper in our room. The hotel restaurant had a breakfast buffet, but not included for guests. I was a little surprised, as I've never paid $200+ for a room that didn't include breakfast. Overall, our group was very disappointed in our experience. This hotel is very run down compared to the pictures online!

This is a great hotel if your staying with kids who love the pool. If your single or a couple with no kids I wouldn't rate this a 3 star. But since I do have a child they loved the pool and swam until there was no energy left! Great area for the kids to play both indoor and outdoor pools. Let them swim!

As Diamond Members, we stay at a lot of BWs. This was the worst we have probably ever stayed at. Treatment at front desk was not good, the room had multiple issues: toilet paper holder was broken, bedding came out of the 40s-50s, pillows were all soft, the BR door squeaked like you were in a haunted house, very small BR, no tub, no pool towels at the pool-called front desk and they said they would bring us some to the pool, never showed up, had to use our room towels, therefore had none in the morning. There was no complimentary breakfast included. Hotel is in extreme maintenance deficiency. Best Western need to pull any franchise support. This hotel doesn't even use the standard BW materials and supplies others do. They use much cheaper quality items.

Excellent stay! We are Best Western Diamond Select Elite level members and we always get an incredible room upgrade at this BW property. Room is always so comfortable and we enjoy the monster sized massage tub and large separate shower. The king bed is very supportive and we get a great nights sleep!

We arrived fairly late but were still able to take advantage of the hotel's amazing pool. The beds are very comfortable and the shower has great pressure. The only disadvantage is the charge for breakfast. It was yummy but the cost should be included with the room. We love Best Western!

I checked in and got a pool side room so I could watch the kids. When I checked in and asked about the pool they never mentioned that half of the pool was closed. Kids was really disappointed. Room was ok, but looked like the door was broken into in the past and poorly fixed, made sure to use the dead bolt to make sure it was locked. Internet was really slow, so I had to log off. Fair hotel but would not pay the price I did with only half of the pool available.

Excellent service from Deb at check in very accommodating to family that arrived early. Cindy and Bellman made extra efforts to secure luggage that had been left behind. True above and beyond customer service. We also enjoyed the outdoor pool and the furnishings there. Thanks BW Ramkota!

We paid a lot of money to stay here to use the pool & slide. Slide wasn't working & pool was disgusting. We had to request TP, tissues, trash bags. They overcharged us too by $20/night. Awful experience. I could have spent less money in a cleaner hotel AND gotten a free breakfast. Definitely NOT worth the money or time

Do NOT stay here, the hotel is old and run down and super expensive!! There was a lot of litter outside, the pools were not cleaned, the shower head wouldn't turn off all of the way so when my 3 year old needed to take a bath the water was pouring out of the shower head too. The fridge hasn't been defrosted in a very long time, there was water dripping all over the water bottles and fruit we put in our fridge. The water slide was broken. The bathroom door would not shut. There was a half of a roll of toilet paper in our bathroom no extras, no soap to wash our hands in the bathroom, the phone to call the hotel desk was broken, the cord kept falling out of it every time we tried to call the front desk. The air conditioner was extremely loud and did not cool the room. One of the worst stays I have ever had at a hotel!

We traveled a week in differant hotel each night the hotel and staff was great the people staying there with kids they do t watch was the only problem with swimming area catered to kids there was more noise than I'm used to we watch our kids. It's not the fault of hotel guest don't watch there kids . I'd stay there again if I'm in the area agin

Run down pool area - cement ceiling crumbling and falling down. Pool very cloudy/dirty. Didn't trust kids swimming in it. There are other hotels in area with better amenities for the price. Employees can also be a little crass.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff is very fast and welcoming both in hotel and restaurant. The room was very spacious and loved our short walk to our room. The pool was wonderful for our toddler. She loved the frog slide.

the pool with the slide was disgustingly dirty! The water was cloudy, the pool walls were stained brown, my son found a giant dead spider, and band aids floating in the water. The slide had rust stains and water poured from the top of the staircase. the kiddy pool with obstacle course wasn't bad but the ceiling area had water damage. We paid $300 for one night, you would think they could afford to keep the pool clean for the guests. On this same road trip we spent $300 for 2 nights at Mt. Olympus in Wisconsin Dells. Do not be deceived by the picture the hotel provides having seen it in person it was obviously taken when they first opened the hotel. Also our key card was giving us trouble unlocking the door. The key card would get stuck every time you slid it in and the give us a red flash. we only spent 1 night at the hotel and decided not to waste what little time we had there trying to get this problem fixed. because it had nothing to do with the card key and everything to do with the lock on the door.

Rooms need fixed and are not kept up. Tub did not drain, shower did not work properly. When called to report (did not find this out until after kids' bath time- 8pm), no maintenance was available, but said would look at next day....maintenance never showed to fix and was informed there were 0 rooms to switch with. Musty/sewer smell/odor upon entering. Fridge had leftover food from previous visit. Was it even cleaned? Pest control help (Large spiders in room on first floor). There is no housekeeping service (which is fine), but hard when staying in room for 3 days. Things get messy with a family. Hotel should not book rooms, if cannot keep up with staffing needs/maintenance needs.

Let me start by saying this is not at all like any of my many many Best Western stays. The on duty manager was extremely rude at check when my suite that was booked was not available due to poor communication and follow through on their part. My family (kids) had to be split between 2 separate rooms and was told the second room was going to be free of charge since I had booked a suite with my rewards points and got a standard room instead. I was not acknowledged as a rewards member as I have always been elsewhere(not a huge deal really, I know.) The rooms…. Carpets were very damp and dingy, food was left in the bathroom shelving from who know how many quests prior, hair still in the shower, TV and shelving were quite dusty, and you were to see right outside through the opening for the AC unit in the wall allowing bugs in. I attempted to open the window as the room was very musty smelling and the AC unit was adding to that odor only to find a large square had been cut out of the screen leaving it open to more bugs and lack of safety to have the window open. The key reader on the back door was broken so security entrance was far from secure. There was trash and many cigarette butts by our main door to enter the building. The second day of our stay I noticed a charge on my CC that's as requested for “incidentals only” over $510 so those funds were being held by my back even though there should have been no charges as I booked with points. I called again to the desk to ask why my card was charged, I spoke with the same manager who was extremely rude as she had been the day prior at check in. She stated it was an error and it was going to be reversed. Because it was a Saturday, those funds were help over the weekend. The pool area and general hotel are in need of some serious updates and cleaning and we will be not be staying there or recommending it to others again.

Found an old and used coffee filter in the coffee maker, hanging dust from bathroom fan, rude and confrontational management. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and respect of the night manager.

We enjoyed the clean rooms and the pool area is great for kids young and old. The staff was exceptional in the motel and bar/restaurant. Food was very good and service was great considering the worker shortage we experienced at every motel and restaurant throughout our trip through South Dakota.

Love the indoor swim park. The kids (ages 18-5) all had a great time enjoying the water slides and floating obstacle course. It was very nice that the 5 year old could touch the bottom in every pool so we didn't have to worry about him.

Nice clean spacious rooms, indoor pool a with water slide a plus fir the kids but not much for the adults. Outdoor typical hotel pool available but not near our room. No breakfast provided nor voucher to onsite restaurant. Quiet and ample parking close to room. Room service for extra blanket was prompt.

Room smelled. Box fan in front of air conditioner running on high when we arrived, probably trying to blow out smell. TV was very dark (not bright). TV pixilated all evening. No soap in room upon arrival & dirty towels in shower (room seemed clean otherwise, we hoped). WIFI was very weak and kept logging off. Entrance C sidewalk crumbling and full of holes. What more can I say. How do they get a Plus rating?

Maily had an issue with the bugs in our room and in the bathroom (I.e beetles, spiders, miller moths etc) Room wasn't overly clean, amenities are minimal, for the price i felt it could have been a lot better. Didn't even offer continental breakfast or anything at that. Id stay again if i had too, but it wouldn't be my first , second or even third choice most likely.

Rooms and common areas were dirty in some spots and in need of repair in others. Keys did not work well in doors. Breakfast was not worth the $10.00 paid. It should be included in the room cost. The overall cost should have been 1/4 less than it was. And we got a group rate.

I was pretty disappointed to say the least. I booked the two room suite months ago which was not even as clean as the pictures looked online. In the evening the first night night we found we couldn't get the sofa mattress to open; and discovered it was severely bent. The manager came with security, and after a 15 minute struggle, they bent out the bed and we discovered a badly stained smelly/stinky mattress covered in leftover food and crumbs and dirty sheets. This was followed up by a moldy sandwich stuffed underneath, dirty men's boxers, lots of chips and crumbs and just crap. The manager did pull out the bed and vacuum and gave us bedding and said that she would email housekeeping to get the mattress cleaned the next day. Next day comes and I caught housekeeping and they told me that they don't even clean the rooms anymore that are stayovers much less knew anything about cleaning the mattress. The HK manager came into speak with me and advised me that he couldn't clean the mattress because then it would be soaking wet for the rest of our entire stay. ((Terrific)) he told me that the bed would be trashed after we departed and said that he would speak to the front desk to ensure that we were guaranteed a credit/discount for our troubles. That evening came and I spoke to the front manager and she said that we would receive one. Upon our checkout I asked for a receipt only to find out that they basically changed our first night rate back to a higher rate and then claimed they knocked off a percentage ((to make it look like we did get a discount)) and then the gal argued with me about the rate. I told her that I had the email confirmation already showing the rate prior of 179.99 while she claimed it was higher and that the manager gave me the great discount for my troubles with the dirty beds. I showed her the email where it already stated my rate was 179.99 prior to the discount and they needed to apply the discount and she completely disregarded me and blew me off!!! I was over it and I left and want nothing to do with this place!! Disgusting!! We had previously stayed at the Clubhouse Inn & Suites, and I'm going to say that is exactly where I am going to stay from here on out. McKenzie understood what was going on but obviously needs more help at this place, and as a manager you should do what you say you are going to do. Not con people at the end. ((I didn't appreciate my room rate getting changed to a higher rate to make it look like you gave me a stellar deal)) Diane was bitter every time you dealt with her at the desk. When asking for pool towels, she replies,”can't you use the ones out of your room?” Yeah maybe if we got service?!?! In between the showers and pool time, we were drying our towels out like the Little House on the Prairie Times hahaha geez The Housekeeping manager was friendly, apologetic, and straight forward. Told us what he could do and what they couldn't. He didn't beat around the bush. I respect that, and appreciated it. To say the least... dead no... stay some where else. This is your last resort

Paid way to much for a room that is way too small. Pool and pool area hasn't been updated in more than 20 years outside of fresh coat of paint. Rusty, murky water with filter issues; water stained ceiling with cracks

Weightstaff,lunch food,terrible .rude,inconsiderate,too busy watching TV to do job,hours of restaurant not hours open,bar hours not correct either,donuts dry and pastey,had to look hard for chicken salad in sandwiches.

Comfortable and clean. Everything worked fine. I especially liked the great-smelling toiletries. (Smelled like oranges but not at all strong.) There is a little bar and grill off the lobby that is convenient for pizza, sandwiches or drinks. They have a small gambling arcade in the corner. The shower had strong water pressure and a shower massage head with several settings. The mattress and pillows were a little soft for my taste, but were not old or worn out at all. There is no free breakfast. We would stay here again.

Talk about a bad experience. Food took over 2 hours then never came. Walls must be paper thin as we could hear the next room screaming at other most the night. Won't stay here ever again. Keep looking you can find a much nicer place.

Have stayed here a few times in past years, and I have mentioned their high price. But, overall I really like it here. This last time we stayed during the week and got a good room for less than $100. But, that price gets exploded WAY out of proportion on weekends and during events. Not cool, not cool at all. Guess we'll have to pass this one up on weekends and special occasions . . . Too bad, because I really want to stay here.

I attempted to check in at 3pm was told room was not ready, no big deal, I was early. I was told I could check in and have access to pool and was repeatedly told I would have a guaranteed 4pm room ready check in. Took all my luggage to pool to allow my daughter to swim to pass time. Attempted to check in at 4 and the line to check in was all the in to the restaurant area. No big deal, busy time, came back at 5 line had atleast 30 people in it still, I Was helped by a gal was willing to give me my keys as it was now after 5pm and she had seen me earlier attempting to check in. Got to my room and housekeeping was in my room still cleaning. They were apologetic and very sweet, explained they still had to vacuum, dust, and wipe things down. I told housekeeping that the room was okay and understood they were busy and possibly short. Overall, the housekeepers were trying. I felt bad for them. I was tired of moving my now damp luggage around and was told I could leave my luggage in my room while they finished cleaning. However, I'm upset at this time due to it being after 5 pm and unable to have a fully ready room. I felt bad for housekeeping told them my room wa s good enough and not to worry about dusting and vacuuming. I explained this at check out and was offered a shoulder shrug and a sorry.

The hotel was very clean. The rooms were very nice. The bathroom was huge and beautiful. The water park was amazing, we enjoyed it for several hours. The location was ideal for access to the interstate and close to many restaurants.

This was a very nice place to stay. The whole team was very helpful, the food was excellent. The rooms were probably the nicest that I have stay at in Sioux Falls. The fitness center was always clean and so was the pool area.

The halls were very noisy due to an event going on even in the middle of the night. Had random people pounding on my room for which scared my children. Security and front desk did nothing. There were drunk adults who took over the entire pool making my family and other families uncomfortable and ended up leaving the pool area. There was not enough parking for guests. When we called and asked the hotel where to park they simply just said to drive around until we find a parking spot.

The water park was the main reason for my reservation. It was so full the children couldn't utilize the amenities and the adults didn't want to. The water was murky. The hot tub was filled with at least 25 small children at any given time. We spent less than 30 minutes in the pool area.

Clean, spacious, and comfortable room. Great food on site. Convenient location. Kids had a blast at the nicely heated water park. Quick and easy check in. Kids can't wait to do it again in a couple weeks.

My overall stay was great. The staff was very accommodating to our needs. They put us in a room that was close to our event which was extremely considerate. They had no housekeeping during our stay due to COVID but when we called for towels or anything else they were there within 5 minutes.

We had noise issues that were not taken care of, jroom was dirty, food in the beds, gum stuck on the walls, party decorations on the walls from stay prior to ours, food was poor, hot and cold mixed up, and got a room for the soaking tub and only got luke warm water.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The service was friendly and our rooms were satisfactory. We were, however, very disappointed in the temperature of the pool area. The water wasn't very warm and the air in the room was cool. This made it very uncomfortable to be in the water. My 2 year old daughter would have normally loved this pool, but we couldn't really stand to be in it because of how cold we got right away.

If you are coming for the water park feature skip this hotel and head down the road to one of the other hotels that offer this. The water park was over packed, hot tub was packed with kids and not hot, slide lines were too long. Room was outdated and dirty. Kids running up and down the halls until 1am.

This hotel was in a great location right off the highway. Check in staff was very polite and nice! Great amount of green space for the dogs to use outside. Unfortunately we were put in a room away from any outside door, so a little bit of a nuisance to get them outside. Overall, very satisfied with the stay

Moldy breakfast and broken lifts at pool. My bag breakfast had a severely moldy mushy orange and my crippled father had to crawl out of the hot tub. The doors next to my room slammed shut, despite having the hardware to close gently. Kids had fun in the pool tho.

I am giving this hotel 5 stars! We made our reservation late yesterday night & called this morning to see if they could let us check in early because my husband works overnight. They were super friendly and said yes we could. When we checked in, they gave us the room location we wanted & asked for and was super friendly...then we got to our room (which was very nice) and wanted to go check out the pool area and my kids were THRILLED when we saw it. We went to the front and asked how much extra it is for a pool side room and they quoted a rate. I asked if there was anything better that could be done for a COVID travel nurse & we are the highest members with best western...let me just say that Cindy (I think that was her name) & the rest of the staff went above and beyond for us. We will forever be best western members. They are always reasonably priced and customer service is almost always incredible. Thank you so much for your help best western!!

We checked in last minute after arriving at a previously booked hotel that turned out to be awful. The from desk was great at helping us check in on a reservation I actually made from my phone in their parking lot. Had a clean, comfortable room with a comfortable king bed. Room for our air mattress for the kids since at the time few rooms were left so we were fine with the single king. Second night we used the pool and water park. Excellent! Loud and crowded but it was a weekend do I expected that. My kids enjoyed it and can't wait to go back. Only issue was the door to the outside/parking lot in room 1081 the threshold was missing and the door jam was warped so it was hard to open and close that door and there was a gap underneath that cold air or leaves/bugs might have been able to come through. Minor maintenance issue they may want to check on, but overall, it wouldn't keep us from coming back.

My review is only for a one night stay, but it was a fine one. I can only compare the stat to the other BW I've stayed in the past few days. Room is on the smaller side but it does do its purpose. The heating is good, but it did get loud that we shut it off before going to bed. Beds were comfy, shower was good, no real complaint. Only two negative, 1- heard people in the hall at 5:30am, not hotels fault. Two, the lighting isn't that great, there is additional lighting towards window, but the switch to turn on & off is by the door, so you have to go to the opposite side of the room to deal with lights. Should have some kind of switch over by window or by bed(s). Other than that, our stay was good. Oh, the bathroom door slides, so it can be loud if not a careful/ quiet person.

We stayed here on the way to Chicago and on our way home. We were traveling during COVID-19 and South Dakota was in the midst of a surge in cases so we were traveling as safe as possible and had chosen Best Western because of their posted masks rules. While the people working the desk wore their masks they were normally wore covering their chins. Overall the place was clean with large rooms fairly comfortable beds but it is showing it's age. Outside doors into the hallways don't lock and the it wasn't a bad place.

Very peaceful stay, nice and quiet. Easy check-in,and check out. friendly staff, clean rooms, felt safe and secure. Nice area, would definitely stay again. Easy access to freeway, and kids enjoyed the pool and water park.

The pools were great for the kids. Having an indoor and outdoor pool was a plus. The whirlpool spa was drained and disgusting. Vents to the air units were dirty on both sides. Poolside door lock did function properly. Sometimes the card did work and sometimes the mechanism jammed Little service - seemed understaffed

My family of 4 met my brothers family of four here recently, and spent 3 nights. Overall more plusses than minuses. Although this is a SD hotel and SD has no mask mandate, BW as a chain requires masks at their hotels. We don't wear masks so we were nervous if we'd be welcomed or not. Although mask required signs were plastered all over the place, we were pleased that the hotel were not snots about it, mask policing etc. We did just fine all weekend with no masks and nobody else hardly wore them either. This is an older hotel but found the rooms to be in good order....beds comfortable and pillows thick instead of those paper thin ones you usually get at hotels. AC worked good too. We slept very well, even in a poolside room. Indoor water park and outdoor pool were fun for the kids...but found the water cold at each. No free breakfast due to the virus...only grab and go bags. .we would rather have the breakfast. Hotel restaurant shut down. Overall this place was just good enough to have a good stay, with some hiccups.

Did not like the several transactions on my credit card, and did not like that the bathroom floor was not properly cleaned. Over 10 transactions on my account on July 29 & 30th. When it comes to banking matters and everything messed up I want no part of that. Leaves me with a "un"trusting feeling for this business or any business that would be having that much problems with their money source.

We booked the Ramkota so our grandkids could use the water slides. They are 1, 2, and 3. The slides were great for them, and both the indoor and outdoor pool were nice. One nice water slide that the kids could ride with an adult, plus a zero entry indoor pool with small slides for toddlers. Bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was a bag with pastry, fruit and water because not enough guests to open restaurant. Front desk was fantastic Midwest nice. The reason for the 3 of 5 is just that the hotel is 40+ years old, and hasn't had a ton of updates. The key card security isn't operational for most entry doors and our key cards had to be reprogrammed 3 times in the 2 days we were there.

Front desk staff not very friendly, pretty rude. Was not very accommodating, stated it was both my sons bday could we have 1st floor room and prefer something close to pool (which noted when I made reservation too and was told no we don't do that however when made the reservation they told me to ask when we checked in and they would note account also. No breakfast instead had breakfast bags (apple, pastry, water). When asked for pool towels lady said she would only give 4 even though 6 people in room. She made a big deal and said well that's our policy. We were on vacation and not from anywhere near here thankfully because I would definitely not Stay here again and for what we were charged definitely not worth it.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Super chill hotel made for a nice end to our trip before heading home. The pizza and food in the lounge was great. The kids had a ton of fun in the water park. Rooms are very modern. The beds are clean and fresh.

Stayed during COVID so hot tub was drained and breakfast was to-go bags, which was ok. As I was looking for my son's lost shoe in our room, I realized how dark the carpet, under the bed, and curtains were. It kinda unnerved me how much dirt could be hiding. Some updates were made in bathroom. There was noise coming from outdoor courtyard til midnight at least. Only 2 washers and dryers for whole facility. Doesn't seem like it's well maintained like outside doors were ziptied so you didn't have to use key card, one dryer smelled like it was burning and our bathroom drain was super slow. They provide 4 wristbands for waterpark per room so if you have more, you need to buy additional bands for $10 each.

We came here for the water park, which was fine, just on the chilly side. We actually spent more time in the outdoor pool, which was much, much warmer. Overall it was fine. The issues we had were related to the doors into the room and into the hotel. The door we were told by the front desk to use to enter the hotel to our room during our stay was propped open by a stick, or rock, the whole time. One time when we got back to the hotel the door wasn't propped open, so we had to go through the front entrance to open the door. By itself, this wouldn't have been a big deal, but when we first went to our room (with all our luggage), using the keycard would not unlock the door, so I went to the front desk where I was told it happens sometimes and to just lift up on the handle (no offer to fix it). So I went back to our room where the rest of the family waited, and yes, lifting the handle did work. OK, still not the end of the world. When we went to the water park (which we paid extra to stay on the first floor by the water park), we used the secondary lock to lock the front door since we would have access on the water park side. When we got back to the room, the key didn't allow us to access the room, so back to the front desk. They had maintenance meet us at the room. When he showed up, we got in on the first try, but he had us try again anyway to make sure it wasn't going to be a recurring issue. It took us 3 or 4 tries to get in. He said that the handle might need to be wiggled a little bit when putting in the key card. (Ok, so lift up on the handle going into the room from the front, and wiggle the handle on the one on the back side.) Later, just before heading out for lunch, maintenance showed up to replace the handle. He was very nice to talk to, but we didn't feel we could leave when he was changing the handle, so it was nearly 2:00 when we finally went out for lunch (with 5 and 6 year olds, that isn't great). Then we were leaving to go to a baseball game later and the door to the room from the water park wouldn't lock, at which point we were livid! No time to go to the front desk, we just used secondary lock to lock the door and went out the front. Forgot about it until we got back around 11pm, went to bed without the water park door not locking (didn't want to wait or change rooms with the kids). When I reported it the next day on checkout, the front desk just said I will have someone look into it. Not acceptable, poor service!!!!

Nothing special about this hotel. Breakfast bags offered were bad. No coffee in room (had to ask)and none in the lobby. Kids had fun in the pool area but not really for bigger kids except the slide which wasn't running every time we went in so we had to ask to get it turned on. The employees were masked and were cleaning.

We love the indoor pool area for the kids and the outdoor pool is awesome too! Alot of the rooms have been renovated and are pretty nice. We stayed here during covid 19 half opening so all things were not open (Cafe for morning breakfast) but will be soon hopefully. We have not been impressed with the service or food at the Cafe in the evenings either both times we have stayed here.

I utilized the BW app to do the pre-check in process. Requested a couple of simple items and neither were in the room. The door that goes from one room to the adjoining room has to be made of paper as the couple in the next room were having a normal conversation and it sounded like they were standing right next to my bed talking. The hallway noise was very loud as well.

Kids loved the waterpark (slide was fun for adults, too!). Comfortable beds/pillows, a/c worked well, quiet room. Due to COVID-19, there were breakfast bags instead of a regular breakfast. Huge hotel that was pretty busy.

We stayed here for a weekend in the winter as kind of a waterpark get away. The hotel rooms are dated and small. But the part we did like was the pool area. We had a 3 & 5 year old and this was the perfect space for them. There was a lot of zero depth spaces and small water slides. But there are not any life guards so you do have to watch your children pretty well. Also we liked that we could bring our own snacks and drinks into the pool area from our room. That's very different from most big waterparks that don't let outside food or beverage in.

Check in was fast. Gound leve room was clean. The parking lot is 6 feet from the room so there was some truck noise, but not terrible. Bed was clean and comfortable. Had a small problem with the door latch; it didn't work properly the 2nd time that I entered the room. The front desk was extremely helpful with this issue. The room accomodations were nice. Bathroom very nice, except the shower faucet anti-scald wasn't working properly. For about 5 minutes, I couldn't get a happy medium between very hot or very cold. In spite of the small glitches, it was a good value for a short business trip.

Hotel is being updated. Room decor was nice, but shower only luke warm and poor water pressure. I woke up to a TV in the room next door. Staff indicated that there was really nothing that they could do.

Rooms surrounded ours filled with young tweens and no parents or chaperones. Front desk stated the noise policy starts at 11 PM. Much too late with younger children. Doors are not sound reducing at all. Seem like hollow core so if you'd like to sleep I suggest another hotel. Pool highly over chlorinated and was hard to breathe. If ventilation were better it would have been a great pool area.

Hotel was clean but being remodeled the staff at the front desk were kind and friendly the staff at the bar was terrible we sat there for 40 min's and no one came to greet us we ended up ordering at the bar and leaving after 1 drink as did many other tables that were getting the same service there were 5 wait staff and they couldn't keep up with orders

older hotel, good staff, good food, hall ways a little noisy if a big group is in town. OK value for the money; if staff didn't do what they do it would not be worth the money. Stayed at the hotel for a conference, rooms good for that.

Hotel still under construction,exposed work lights were hall lights, exposed sockets,sockets didn't work in room, door wouldn't close all the way, security guard was beyond rude with everyone staying at the hotel. Would not stay at this hotel again and the price was way too high for their conditions.

we stayed here this past weekend for my son and daughter's birthday party. i made the reservations over the phone and was told that by booking a party there, you are guaranteed a poolside room, 6 pool wristbands for those staying and then 10 additional wristbands for those we invited to the party. upon checking in and lugging all our party stuff to our room, we found out that our room was not poolside. i went back to the front desk and the lady said we would need to pay more for a poolside room. i mentioned that i was told over the phone that if i booked a pool party there, i was guaranteed a poolside room. the lady simply told me that wasn't true and that i had to pay more to get that. alongside that frustration, the pool is TERRIBLE when it comes to the chemicals. . keep in mind that no one in my family is sensitive to chlorine by any means, but my son ended up puking massive amounts everywhere because of it. we left the pool right away and went back to swim after it was all cleaned up. my son instantly started coughing again when he got back into the water, forcing us to leave again (for fear that he would throw up). we stayed in the room for the night and decided to try swimming again before having to check out the next morning. the second i turned on the hot tub jets, the chemicals were so strong that they instantly started making us all cough and my son started gagging right away. we all got out and had to leave as our throats were burning at this point. never have we had this issue with any pool we've been to. it was an awful feeling and a bummer since it was for our kids birthday parties. there were tons of kids and adults coughing as well, not just our little group

My friends and my children stayed here for a night away. It was such a great time. Check in and out was super fast and easy. We will definitely be choosing this hotel when we are in sioux falls. The kids really enjoyed the pool area and little arcade. Staff was friendly too.

Great pool and play area, my kids love it. Zero depth pool, for my toddler and great transition for preschooler. Also a fun large slide for me or older kids. Clean rooms and common spaces. Well maintained and helpful staff.

We stay at Best Western numerous time before in other location, and the experience has been great, because of good from front desk staff awareness. This Best Western here is completely the opposite, we reserve a family Suite for $200 12.28.19. We had travel 1 hour from Minnesota to South Dakota for a family trip. The weather was raining/icy, which was hectic and stressful. The room we chose online was a Suite for $200, when we check in at 10am, the staff couldnt even guarantee us that it will be available until 4pm. We took the standard room thinking it will only be a standard cheaper price, I literally was in the room for 3 hours from 11am to 2pm after finding out that the front desk staff were going to charge us $200 for a Suite prices. So that was up setting. My wife was not happy when she call the hotel front desk to speak to a manager about the situation from a Suite to a Standard. But instead a front desk staff who me check in, sure enough, took the call pretended to be a manager and stated to my wife. Your stress is not my problem or concern, and the nerf to tell my wife, I'm doing you a favor for allowing your 3 kids and husband to stay in the standard room at 11am and our usual time is at 4pm check in, so your being charge the $200 Suite price and your not getting refunded. We have ask for a full refund and wanted a real manager. Nope nope nope. Not helping you with a refund. I do not recommend this hotel. It was disappointing and a inconvenience having to drag your family for a family trip to enjoy before the new years and to deal with rude people in a nasty weather doesnt bring a good experience. 

Thank you for a wonderful last minute accommodation. Keep up the cleanliness, freshness, and working order of the guest rooms. Conveniently located by the mall and the airport. The shuttle service Is a great amenity for my future visit.

Terrible from the reservations, negotiated rate, billing, check in, check out - no express check out and have waited up to 20 minutes before someone even shows up to the desk. Rude, make excuses for the inept ability to run the place.

This continues to be our go to place when staying in the area. Kids love the water park and food. We enjoy having everything we need right on site. We've never had a bad experience here and really appreciate the reliability.

Waterpark was busy the entire time open. Everything worked, towels were always available and place was clean. Rooms were nice and cleaned well. The housekeeping staff that cleaned our room was fabulous! Professional, friendly and top notch in creating an awesome customer experience.

Very quaint hotel near the airport. Booked it due to closeness to airport and shuttle service option. Didn't realize it had a huge pool for family fun. Would've brought swimsuits if I would've known. Staff were very friendly. Don't let the location throw you off from this gem!

This hotel should not qualify as a BW plus. Under renovation. Doors don't work properly, missing amenities, no breakfast. We stayed in two BW plus's for way less money & were much nicer & included breakfast.

Everything was great. Easy check in and great services. We had an easy check out as well. My Son had one suggestion .... he is eight.... he would like more arcade games. We did use your restraint and room service. The food was great and portions were large. We expect to stay again some time next year. Offer some discounts for repeat customers - makes it even more appealing. Thank you.

We stayed for the weekend & it was excellent! Comfortable & cozy bed, clean & fresh room! We ordered room service food was fantastic!! Diffinatly will be our go too when we come back to Sioux Falls!! Excellent staff & friendly!!

I called from the road and booked this room. From beginning to end we experienced friendly, efficient staff and a clean comfortable place to stay. Great to have the restaurant on site! The room was clean and up todate with the decor. I enjoyed the fitness room and looking at the fun pool!

Needs updating, room was fine, nothing special. No continental breakfast and limited hours in restaurant. Kids had fun at the pool and was nice we could have food and drinks in the pool area. There was a towel shortage though

Best Western offers value we can count on. Nice rooms and amenities at reasonable prices. They are located close to restaurants and services you might need if you are traveling far from home. The staff is friendly and are helpful answering questions about the area.

Neighbor's were arguing, fighting, and kids were screaming. I requested another room, and got it, but when walking to that area, it was pretty much as noisy -- doors slamming, people partying, kids screaming, I couldn't belive it. But I did find a quieter area that seemed great -- but when returning to the front desk to request ANOTHER room, they were really busy. I slept on chairs in the quiet closed pool area. Just not a good night!

Nice average hotel. Hallways were very bright which shone into the room under the door. Friendly staff. Arrived in the evening which made the hotel hard to find and a bit confusing as to where the entrance was at first. Good location, close to the main roads for easy access. We arrived after room service ended but the bar staff was nice enough to let us order a pizza from the bar menu and then delivered it to our room themselves! We were in a ground floor room that was more recently renovated, unfortunately we only had a shower in the bathroom, when we asked for a different room with a tub they were very nice to say they did have one but suggested staying in our current room as it was newer and nicer than a tub room - so we stayed.

A really poor overall value...top price & no complimentary breakfast and food service was understaffed resulting in extremely slow service. Some exterior doors not fully functional and hallways need refurbishing

I booked a room for my children's birthday as I have been to parties there before on Saturdays. When checking in I advised we had a party and asked how to purchase additional pool bracelets. Was advised I need to book personal through them and all information was on their website, it's not. Hotel used to be amazing but now the ceiling is starting to fall, rooms smell of mildew, and the chlorine in the pool was so strong we had people leave due to their eyes burning; mine including. For the price paid I wished we would have gone elsewhere! Certainly would have gotten a top notch hotel for the same price. There were also shoes left in our room from the previous person who stayed there. I think that says something about room service. The plus side. We did have an amazing person who brought towels to us ASAP when we called and was very friendly.

Just off the freeway. Stayed here for one night as on a tour. Nice hotel with two big beds in the room. Free buffet breakfast which was OK. Frankie's bar was good for dinner with reasonable prices and attentive service.

This is a basic hotel with a water park. Other than the water park there is nothing that makes this place stand out. It is a large hotel with 200+ rooms and located next to the airport and a sports facility. Our interactions with the staff here was mixed, some friendly and some just dead pan. If you want to sleep in make sure you don't get a room near the pool because screaming kids will wake you up at 8am sharp. Room was clean, but basic. Not my favorite hotel.

Well for one this place is huge. There is an outdoor pool. And an indoor pool with the waterslide. Pretty nice. The rooms are spacious and comfortable lots of pillows. The beds are soft and easy to get good sleep. Hotel staff excellent I had a problem with my rewards. They solved the problem

Motel building was under-repairs with open ceilings and scraped walls. Exposed wiring and plumbing along with work lights strung along the hallways being fed by wall outlets.Ganged use of the temporary may have led to a circuit over-load. Plastic barriers should have been in use.

This hotel is our go to hotel when traveling to Sturgis, we stay here every year. The restaurants are good, the rooms are clean, with very comfortable beds. Great location, will be staying here again next year when we make our way down to Sturgis

Stayed only one night on a tour. Staff are very helpful and genuinely interested in you as clients. Rooms are large, clean and beds are very comfortable with a selection of pillows. Evening meal in the Maple Street restaurant (in-house) was good. Recommend the mushroom burger. Breakfast didn't look too good at first, but was far better than I thought it would be. Recommended

We stay at the Ramkota every year and are always happy with our stay. The facility is clean, always upgrading the rooms and surroundings, and has a lounge and restaurant inside, so you don't have to climb back on the cycle to get dinner or breakfast. Our bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and climate control were great.

We stayed on our way home to Canada during We Fest weekend while the hotel was full. Our room was lakefront with a balcony but quiet inside. The lounge was busy. Very convenient location with a small private beach which could have nicer sand. There were loungers and a couple picnic tables. We enjoyed our stay.

After seeing signs for 100 miles plus, we decided to give it a go. After all, it had a water slide! We got a poolside room. Mind you that costs extra, but should actually be a discounted room. The room was recently redone but didn't seem finished. There was no cover on the fire sprinkler which left a large gaping hole in the ceiling. The halllways were in sad shape. There was tons of ceiling tiles missing and wires hang loose all over. The access to the pool balcony (great in theory) was kinda sad. The door was rusted almost all the way through, was super difficult to open and did not seal properly. All this added up to a lack of a secure feeling along with a lot of noise. When 1/2 the hotel opens out to the pool area, 11pm was a little late for weary travelers. We did have a 10 year old with us that took advantage of the great pool. But 11pm and a ton of screaming, unsupervised kids made it impossible to go to sleep. Then at 7:45am kids were screaming in the pool that was supposed to open at 8am. The pool itself was pretty great other that the fact there were no clean towels for over an hour. The staff that should have been at the top of the water slide supervising was no where to be seen, causing chaos down the slide. No one there to enforce the rules...NOT SAFE!! Now, let's discuss the in-house restaurant...a fabulous idea since there was nothing else close by....needless to say, the service was so bad, we ate for free. From waiting 5 minutes to be seated (no one else was there, including the hostess) 10 minutes for our baby size waters that were never refilled, 20 minutes for my hubby's beer and more than 45 minutes for our food (brought out by the manager with no apology) the fries were cold, the burger was made wrong, there “Parmesan fries” were more parmesan than fry, and the potato chips were chewy they were so stale! Yum! We asked for the check and the elusive waitress said she would come it for us since we waited so long. Gee, thanks I guess!

My family and I stayed overnight for about seven hours total. After getting back on the road we found ants on ourselves and our belongings. We are very sure it was from the beds and room we stayed in.

Great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and bed and pillows were comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was good. We did not get a chance to use the restaurant.

Kathy is my go to lady and she makes our family feel BEYOND welcome and valued. Been staying with this hotel for 30 years ~ they ALL make us feel like family every single time!! Cindy usually works the night shift and she is and I have talked so much too, when I call in or get there for check in, McKenzie always needs to make sure and say hello too ~ Ted, the general manager, makes such a point of greeting me, by my name EVERY time I stay, Ryan and Ian have been there since as long as I can remember and they too, go out of their way to come and say hello and see how I'm doing! Ausia, Kim, and Eric are more the night crew and also, make sure we're so well taken care of each stay. The hotel is doing remodeling and a few renovations to stay top notch in modern hotels ~ looking great!!! I have never had a hotel make me feel as valued and cared for as Ramkota Best Western in Sioux Falls, SD ~ thank you for making us feel like we are truly family!!

Had the breakfast my 7 year old wouldnt eat any of it some frozen items and food was cold. The stay was great the only thing was change the breakfast. Make it reasonable for the whole family and edible please

I stayed for three nights and here's my takeaway: 1. The food at the Maple Street Cafe was awful the first day, and better the second but still not great 2. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming 3. The light in the outdoor pool was broken and just floating around in the pool with the wires hanging into the pool. Staff was informed my first night and the light was still broken the day I left. 4. Half of the outlets in my room did not work 5. Flavored water is offered in the lobby at all times and that was a nice touch 6. The beds were not comfortable at all

We had a great time at this hotel! Very nice water park/pool area we all enjoyed! Would stay again for sure!!looks like they are renovating the rooms in this hotel. Staff was very attentive to our needs!

the rooms are nice. they seem to be newly remodeled so they are clean. outside of the room the hotel is not cleaned well. the hallway floors are dirty big time. entrance A stairwell has a huge spot of black mold on the carpet between floor one and two. elevator at same entrance has two big brown mystery smears on the wall. looks like poop. i saw two staff go in and neither bothered cleaning it. it has a water park but there was also a gigantic glob of hair attached to a wristband that doesn't match the color anyone is wearing today floating in the pool by the slide ....

Our room was very nice (seemed newly renovated), and the beds were comfy. There is a bit of construction/renovation going on in the stairways, but it was not like we were wakened by noise or anything. Staff was mostly friendly and the pools were nice and fun. We were very surprised that the waterpark did not have any staff policing the area. The waterslide got very rowdy and we worried about the littlest of kids who clearly did not meet the height requirement and should not have been sliding. The hotel policy is such where the parents are to be responsible (duh), but that was not working! The breakfast buffet was very plain and lacking. Would have liked a few additional meat options, or variety - though the pricing is appealing - so I guess you get what you pay for. We will stay there again.

Check-in was a little difficult with all the kids running around distracting the front desk staff, probably not their fault but it took a lot longer than it should've. The shuttle bus driver was very good, accommodating and knowledgeable of the area. Breakfast is either à la cart or buffet not really worth the value. The room set up was good the pool was nice. Overall , it was a pretty good experience

We stayed here with our baseball team for a tournament last weekend and several of the families' experiences were awful. One of the parents even wondered if we were part of a social experiment to see how we react to the issues we encountered. First my own personal experiences: 1. Check-in - the lady who checked us in was unfriendly. I figured they were busy and gave her a pass, but my experience with most of the staff led me to think that was par for the staff. 2, The AC in the room we were initially given did not work. The outside temps were in the 90's and the room was 79 degrees upon our arrival. We left for our evening game at 5 pm and I set the temp to 65 degrees. When we got back to the room at 10 pm, the room temp was 80. Went down to the Front Desk, I was given a different room. He made it sound like it was a burden to him and he was doing us a favor by saying he was moving us to an upgraded room and didn't charge me for the difference because the hot water wasn't working in our room. Sorry, but that attitude doesn't = good customer service. If the customer has a legitimate complaint, good customer service would be to at least sound sympathetic and be eager to make things right. The new room wasn't any different that our initial room other so the upgrade must have been a working AC unit and the sink/vanity outside of the bathroom. 3. At 1230 am in our new room, someone was able to unlock the door and tried to enter our room. Luckily we had the door latched. 1245 am we are woken up by a call from the Front Desk asking why we were in the room. Seriously? You had to wake up the guest instead of asking whoever was at the Front Desk? Turns out the person who I moved us didn't update the system, must of been proud of how he "upgraded" us. 4. The carpet in both rooms we were in were filthy and there was some stain on one of the covers on the bed in our second room (see picture). 5. The walls are really thin. You can hear your neighbors going to the bathroom. Experiences from other families on our team: 1. Another family's initial room also did not have a working AC unit. They were given a new room and at least whoever moved their room also updated the system so they weren't woken up in the middle of the night being asked why they were in the room. 2. 1 family's room had used q-tips and other garbage in the bathroom when then checked in. 3. 2 families didn't have their room serviced by housekeeping, other than emptying the garbage. When one asked about it, they were told that they only service rooms for stays longer than 3 nights (we were staying 2) or upon request. Um, what? Seriously, lying to your guests? Another family only had half their room serviced (one bed was made and the other was not). The hotel itself is huge and one can get easily turned around, at least they had signs and maps to help. There are several hotels closer to the fields we played at so in the future, I would recommend to our program to use of those hotels over staying here again.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. One of our tour was ill and the night manager could not do enough. There was even a free bus to take you into town or to the falls. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel

Nice hotel, two pools, one outdoors other is an indoor waterpark. Restaurant and a separate lounge. Did not have breakfast but looked like a great buffet for 10.00. Comfortable beds with microwave and fridge in room. Would stay again if in area.

The hotel staff was amazing. Our suite took longer to get ready than anticipated (after check in time). To accommodate our family of 8, one of whom is an autistic child, the front desk staff gave us two adjoining rooms at no extra cost that were immediately ready. In addition, the check in associate gave us gift certificates for use at the hotel restaurant. She went above and beyond. The inside water slide was great and the rooms were clean and nicely decorated.

Was a nice stay. Rooms are average, but clean and updated. Good for families of all ages. There are 2 pools to use that are included with your stay and both are heated. The indoor one has a water park and 1 twisty slide as well as a hot tub. This area is best for elementary aged kids or younger. My teenage sons were not interested in this area at all. The outdoor pool area was better for them. Best western has plenty of patio sets and lounge chairs. The pool itself, goes up to 8.5 feet deep

This hotel is being updated. We stayed in an old room. AC was extremely loud. Be sure to ask for an updated room. Pool was to be opened at 8 but at 10 it was still closed. But the water slide was open.

The Ramkota is always topnotch. The service is always excellent and the rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The restaurant is a quiet place to enjoy your meal. The wait staff are attentive and the food is very tasty.

Rooms have been recently updated and are very comfortable...I highly recommend this property . The new furnishing and bed are extremely comfortable. Great place to hold a conference and meetings Well located for events in Sioux Falls.

Nice room, nice pool, nice lobby. Check in was 25 minutes, since they I reserved the hotel through Best Western , this individual hotel did not have the reservation. I showed the receptionist my confirmation email from Best Western. She couldn't find it. We got our room, and at checkout, our room was $10 more than the original reservation. Whatever..... We needed clean towels, we asked, and were told there weren't any.....

I was very disappointed with our stay last week at Best Western Ramkota. Our room was gross and clearly had not been cleaned in a very long time. You could see things on the carpet and that it had not been vacuumed. The furniture needed dusting. The bathroom mirror hadn't been wiped. There were gross spots on the hard tile floor by the bathroom. I took a wet washcloth and wiped up the spots myself - only to have the washcloth come up brown with dirt, hair and dust. I called down to the front desk right away and he said he would send someone up. Yeah, that didn't happen. I mentioned it again to the front desk the second morning. I was told the head of housekeeping would make sure it got cleaned. Again nothing. Then on the morning of our checkout housekeeping is knocking at our door at 8am and again at 10 when we are about to check out because they want to flip the room. Checkout is at 11. You can wait until we've checked out. The pool area is also gross. Clearly no daily cleaning going on at this hotel. A little bit of daily maintenance would go a long way.

Large room, on darker side. They have airport shuttle - although for early morning they will call (& pay for) a taxi. Room had mini-refrigerator, microwave, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, iron, hair dryer, window/wall AC, coffee maker. NO room safe. Small workout room. room includes admission to their small indoor water park.

The hotel was fine, the bed was comfortable and the room quiet, but my big complaint is that pets are allowed in the same wing of the hotel as patrons without pets. We followed another patron down a long corridor who had a very wet dog and the smell was awful. Our door lock didn't work, even after the repair person claimed to have fixed it. Wouldn't stay at this Best Western again.

The location was great for anyone passing through. Nice big lobby, friendly staff. Bathroom had clearly been remodelled but room was a little dated and the door was splashed with lots of white stains, paint? It was nice to have a restaurant bar on site and we enjoyed dinner there, again with great staff. There are obviously a lot of renovations going on so I expect this hotel will improve shortly. Overall a good stay and would not hesitate to stay here again when in the area.

I stayed here a little over 2 years ago & my young daughter loved it. She had so much fun. I stayed recently in May 2019 and the pool are was run down and grose. Mold or mildew growing on the floor and the play ropes. The tile by the hot tub was broke so the motel put a rug over the damaged area with orange cones. There was supposed to be a basketball hoop by the big slide but instead had a cone over the pole where the hoop was supposed to go. All play items had paint chipping like crazy. The slide or the play area had not been cleaned in some time as you could see the filth & grime. The lilly pads and log area was supposed to have a rope from one side of the pool to the other to help you across the pads & log, but nope no rope & only 1 pole for the rope. The log was chipping really bad as well. Not only was the pool area a disappointment but I had a door to the outside and the concrete from the tiles under my door made it super had to get door open. I do not think we will be back and that makes me sad.

Great kiddie pool. Front desk people were very friendly. Very nice clean hotel.The gym is connected to the pool and there was an arcade room as well. You get 6 wristbands per room which is nice incase you have some guests!!!

Advertising photos show a nice, enjoyable water park experience, this couldn't be further from the truth. The pool area is poorly maintained, the lighting is dangerously dark and the kids slides are held together with electrical tape. The pool deck could use some serious addressing to fix the many tiles that are loose or missing. Many hazards for children.

This hotel has everything I need for business trips. The second time I stayed there they gave me the same type of room as I previously had and were very helpful in answering any questions I had as far as finding things locally.

I have stayed at this hotel several times for business for it's proximity to the airport, availability of nice lounge/restaurant and friendly staff. When my family was traveling through Sioux Falls, it was an easy decision for hotel! My kids loved the water park and it is very conveniently located to all area attractions.

I will say I've always been an avid ramkota stayer. This last trip completely ruined it for me. I reserved a king room online.went in to the hotel was told sorry we don't have the room. I did not receive the pool wristbands to utilize the pool with my child. And this was the 2nd time I experienced a lot of noise coming through the doors.

This hotel is a excellent place to stay at because they make you feel like family and the restaurant and lounge is a perfect place for a awesome meal. For Customer that stay at the hotel it afforded free shuttle services from around town so for me that's works awesome because I haul Oversize loads so I park my truck an trailer at the nearby truck stop . I would definitely recommend this hotel a refreshing stay !

great location and easy to find, clean facilities and recently remodeled. remodeling is almost done and it looks good. I stayed there for a conference in the city and it was nice to have a clean place to lay my head at the end of the day.

The pool was FREEZING cold, unable to take my 1 year old swimming in the child side, which was the whole reason we stayed at this particular hotel. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Nice staff

Internet was sketchy, pool and hall was loud until midnight. Room was cold, or too hot. Not enough covers. Low water pressure in shower. No breakfast. Broken water pipe flooded our room and we were rushed our a back way and front desk showed no sympathy.

Room was cold no matter where the heat was set. Heater was noisey too. Ran out of hot water 2 out of 3 days. Food served in the hotel was overpriced and the food was warm at best all 3 mornings. I would not recommend this place.

I was not impressed. The phone lines were broken to the point that if you picked up the phone to make a call they fell out. We were staying in a suite and at some point in time someone really hung on the door knob for the internal door was barely hanging on. Found food and an old bandage behind the hide-sofa that the night manager had to move to replace the phone line but never called for house cleaning to clean it up. Order a package deal but the front desk had to be reminded of what was included in the deal. The Pizza included in the package was made with old burnt hamburger. Currently being over charged. We stayed because of the pool but otherwise it was a disappointment as a 13th birthday party location.

We were in town for a basketball tournament. Our organization had a block of rooms. Most importantly, our room was clean and comfortable for an overnight stay, that's really all that mattered to us. Kids enjoyed the pool area. Our heater rattled off and on during the night, even after we turned the fan off. Check-out is at 11 a.m. We took most of our things to our car before going to breakfast but still had a couple of items left. We planned on going back to our room for a bit before the 11 check-out and to pick up our remaining items. However, when we got back to our room about 9:30, the door was wide open and our items were gone. Housekeeping had already been in the room and taken our things to the front desk. If check-out isn't until 11, we still had items in the room, and we had not yet checked out, I'm not sure why we were kicked out at 9:30. That's what it felt like - we were kicked out. Another friend in our group said they were still in their room when housekeeping walked right in their door. We always do a once over before we leave the room for good and we had not yet done that so we hope we didn't miss anything! Hotel is undergoing some improvements but this didn't really affect our stay. We also had the wrong charge to the account that we used to pay for our stay but before I called to inquire about it, I double checked the account again today and it was reversed with the correct charge applied. Overall, this hotel was fine for our purposes. Easily accessible from I-29 and close to where we needed to be. The breakfast buffet was fine and served it's purpose.

Due to weather we decided to stay in SF in New Years Eve. Even though they were full, they were quick, friendly and efficient at check in and bar. They are remodeling and it is turning out great! The pool area was packed and all night kids were running around late due to the holiday. They had security who made sure everyone was safe and things didn't get out of control but they still let people have fun. They even kept the pool area open until midnight for the holiday which we thought was great. Best Western in Yankton could take a few pointers from this hotel.

waterpark on the slide part was kinda gross. the slide was brown where you slide down on and the water was a gross haze to it. don't think the filtration was working either. gross stuff floating all around and where the junk was suppose to filter threw was not taking it in.

We stayed here with a hockey team for a weekend and it was a nightmare. The hotel is under construction and some folks in our room block were right next to it and were woken up by drilling at 8am on a saturday. Their rooms were also very dusty. The set up of this hotel is very confusing. I could not figure out where I was going 90% of the time. Just going from my room to the parking lot was enough stress for one day. We paid for the poolside and breakfast option and it was around $150-160 a night and we did not get our moneys worth for the breakfast. Our certificates said they were good for two adult continental breakfasts or a value of $7.95 so we decided to get the buffet (which our waitress also told us would be free with our coupons) but when we went up to pay they only credited us 7.95 per meal. It's not even about the money but the fact that we were told 5 different things. When I mentioned the price discrepancy to the cashier in the restaurant she was adamant that I was wrong and treated my as if I was dumb. I was told from the front desk manager that if you did not purchase the breakfast option when booking that you could ask to purchase a voucher. The vouchers were supposed to cost $10 but you get $15 worth of credit to the restaurant. I shared this information with my hockey families but every time someone asked to purchase one they acted as if they had no such thing. I finally went up to the front desk and spoke with someone and they said they did have them. Moment priors to this one family was told they didn't have them?The pool was the only highlight to the stay and the only reason we didn't all ask for our money back. One mom was trying to have a glass of wine in the bar area and she had her kids with (who are 9 and 7, so not babies) and she was told she had to leave the bar because people were going to arrive who didn't want kids in there. The restaurant hours in general were pretty bad overall. The few times we wanted food we couldn't get any because they were in between closing or in between meal changes.

spa was cold and dirty looking. odor in room. Dirty feeling inside room and outside of the hotel Items left in the room were taken and not returned. Phone calls not returned about lost items. The housekeeping was not good and no phone calls were retuned about the lost items.

Dirty and run down. Key cards were not working when we got here so they had to have the maintenance man replace them. The bathtub would not drain. We had a party in the pool area - with unexpected ants. Very disappointed at how they cannot keep this hotel cleaner. There are so many other options in Sioux Falls for a nicer, cleaner stay. Keep looking.

Our hotel stay was wonderful, the staff was awesome. They exteneded the pool slide time for us because we arrived a little late and allowed time for my son to go play and enjoy himself. They really went above and beyond for us.

The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast area was busy for holiday travel. The parking was tight as we were in a U-Haul. Really appreciated the paperback books near the fireplace to share. What a thoughtful idea!

I have stayed here for work in the past, and they are in the process of remodeling some of the rooms which is nice to see they are investing in the property, I didn't even know they had a sports bar until at check in I was given a coupon to use in there. It is very nice and glad I found it.

We stayed here for the pool. The water was cool, but was survivable. The hotel is very large, busy, and loud. It might be okay on a weekday, but on a weekend it was very busy. It was loud at night for our toddlers. The room was okay, but the blankets were a bit odd. The heating element broke in our room, but to be fair, we didn't report it broken to the front desk until the morning, This pet allows pets, which was a problem for us since there were dogs near our room that barked a lot in the middle of the night and woke the kids.

There is not enough lighting in the room. The bathroom ceiling was nasty and had holes in it. The main bedroom smelled of mold/mildew. Could not figure out where it was coming from. Air was extremely dry in the rooms, everyone left with a sore throat. The pool/waterpark.. Never enough towels available. No staff during hours, why have rules if no one Is there to make sure they are followed. Witnessed a child get kicked in the head, because they were chilling at the bottom of the slide, and someone came down and they knocked heads, cause the person came down face first , which is "not allowed".

The check in was quick and the lobby was ok. The door to the parking lot was not locked. The halls were dark and there were wires visible in the ceiling.. The phone didn't work, the repairmen came twice and eventually replaced the phone. When we were trying to go sleep we heard loud talking and smelled smoke. This was not a smoking area. We called the front desk and they sent someone to ask them to move. We stayed at several BW's and BW Plus's and they all offered FREE breakfast. This one did not!

I booked through a 3rd party and thought I had a two queen room, but apparently I had a king room reserved. There were no double queens available in the entire hotel, so we were stuck with the king. Fair enough, I asked for a roll-away, they don't have them. So I asked for some blankets and pillows and my kids stuck it out on the floor. Our room only had two towels and when I asked for more from housekeeping, they responded with "oh, yeah, we keep running out of towels." The staff was nice and helpful, but I believe they need more staff to regularly walk through this giant maze of a hotel. We consistently had people up and down the hallway, had a dog bark and I am pretty sure deficate in the hallway outside our room, and on our last morning, we were awoken to the delightful smell of cigarette smoke filling our room. I am unsure if this was from another room, or coming from the entry, but it was so bad we had to leave the room. The waterpark is great, but I have a few concerns. 1. There seemed to be a birthday party going on at all times in the waterpark. It didn't seem like everyone at the parties were guests of the hotel, so that was a bit disappointing, as they dominated the space in the waterpark. Many of them also did not wear the wristbands we were told HAD to be on at the front desk, even though there was pool staff around. 2. We were very excited about being able to relax in the hot tub and watch our kids as they used the play area, but the hot tub was not hot. They eventually got this fixed, but we had to alter our plans for the day, which was inconvenient. Overall, the stay was average. If I was going for the waterpark experience in Sioux Falls, I may try one of the others before returning here.

Very nice and clean. Helpful staff. We actually got there about noon, and they did there best to get us a room early. They checked us in and reserved a room for us, but it was not quite ready yet. Which was ok, we went and had lunch and did a little shopping. When we returned around 2, our room was ready. Normal check in is 4pm. The lounge is nice. Loved sitting over by the fireplace. My only disappointment, the wifi in the fitness center, just could not get connected.

We stayed here for one night. Our room upgrade was fabulous! Huge sitting area, , large bedroom; it was awesome! The pools both outdoor & indoor was very nice. The waterpark/slide is a nice added attraction. We will definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for work and was not disappointed. Except no free breakfast but they have a full service restaurant so that makes sense. I had lunch here between sessions for work and I enjoyed the lunch buffet. Everyone I encountered that worked here was nice and greeted me. My room was clean and everything worked. Water in shower was hot so it's a win for me.

No complimentary anything, had to do our own housekeeping, too much noise, rude staff, filthy hallways in disrepair, the outside is filthy, stained sheets and hours to the restaurant are inconvenient. When we reported the noise in the hallway and people in the pool after hours, we were told to reserve a room in a different part of the hotel next time.

In our travels, my wife and I usually stay at a Best Western hotel for an overnight accommodation if one is available in the vicinity. Why? Because, in our experience, Best Western is clean, comfortable and quiet--and its staff is well organized and always prepared to meet your needs. That's what we found at Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In fact, we found much more. Located at 3200 West Maple Street, it is a pet-friendly hotel that is near Sanford Health Center and the area's tourist attractions. With 60,000 square feet of meeting space, it also is a popular destination for conventions and large business meetings. Kids will enjoy Best Western's indoor water park. The hotel also is within walking distance of the Empire shopping mall and the Great Plains Zoo. It also features two restaurants, Frankie's and Maple Street Cafe, a fitness center, heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools, laundromat and a 24-hour business center. Our room was spacious and comfortable and quiet. And the wakeup call was on time. All pluses, no minuses.

This is a hotel that has been or is being used for large groups or conventions. It should inform its customers that renovations are being done because you will walk through a few buildings to get to your room. It was confusing & inconvenient. Rooms are barely average and the location not too great. I will not return.

staff was great! hotel was just what we needed! my girls loved that the pool actually had a waiting area so my three year and 6 year old could play together and both touch the bottom. the little slides, lily pads, the big slide, it was all great, me and my husband even had alot of fun!

Everything was perfect and we couldn't even hear the rain that went on most the night. The site was close to many interesting sites and easy to return to after leaving. The flowers were beautiful. Talking of bringing grandchildren back to use the cute pool.

Checked in after a long drive, my first room wasn't cleaned. Talked to the hotel staff and was given a new room (along with a $15 gift certificate for the restaurant). Tried opening the door to the new room and the door keys didn't work (also heard the tv on) went back to the front desk staff and explained it, she re-keyed the keys and said the maintenance guy would show me how to use the keys (thanks for making me feel incompetent). The maintenance guy got one of the keys to work and he too heard the tv, he checked the room for me and yet another room not cleaned! He immediately radios the front desk and the manager. The manager got me a new room and the maintenance guy confirmed it was clean before walking back across the hotel for the 3rd time with my bags. He offered to help with my bags and the manager brought the keys straight to the room. The maintenance guy was super accommodating but can't say the same for the front desk. How is it that I was given 2 dirty rooms! Made me wonder about the rest of the cleanliness of the room. Hotel was also very noise. The bar service was decent.

We have stayed here a number of times and have always had a good stay, this year was no different. The room was large, clean, beds were very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Will stay here again

Great place to stay in the area. They're in the process of remodeling and should be great once done. Front desk staff are wonderful and the food service personnel are great. Food is great. A free breakfast would be nice.

This hotel is being remodeled. My room was wonderful with new furnishings. The room was clean. WiFi worked fine. The shower was very nice. There is a nice bar. The bartender and front desk attendants were very friendly.

3 pools & a hot tub, seriously!!! Hotel was right off I-29, very convenient to get to & nice & quiet. Staff very nice, hotel clean, & the pool was amazing. Outside pool that went to almost 9 ft so the kids were in heaven. Will definitely stay there again.

we made our vacation a sightseeing and nature trip, no amusement parks, phones or video games, we made our last night a fun night with the water park at the hotel, it was a great place, and we plan to have a family get together there in the near future

i stayed 4 nights,,,,and the room comfortable.....I had a problem with a plug in not working. And the bed was too high for me. My room was a long ways from the front desk and morning coffee. Service was great.. and staff are nice.

As part of hosting a National Convention in this facility, we spent a great deal of time in the exhibit hall. The catering staff on duty from July 29 - Aug 5 were great. Whatever we needed we were given and offered help by everyone. If we asked for a couple more tables, we had them, and then if we asked for a few more, we had them again. No eye rolls, no attitude - all smiles. Every. Single. Time. And there were a lot of times. There were a couple of times we did not have service in our room. We had to ask for clean towels and fresh coffee packets. This was a bit frustrating especially when there was a member of the housekeeping staff sitting on the sofa in the hallway every morning when we came out of our room. Overall, our stay was quite pleasant

First, the hotel room smelled terribly like smoke. The humidity in the rooms was terrible, and condensation was on every surface in the room. I also called a month in advance of my check in date, and verified that I had an early check in. The person I spoke with on the phone, I believe her name was Sarah, but I'm not sure on that, confirmed I could check in at 1 pm. I arrived at 1 pm, but was not allowed to check in until nearly 4 pm. When I asked why I couldn't check in, I was told that they were not allowing early check ins. When I told them I spoke with Sarah, again, not sure that was the name, and told the receptionist I was confirmed that I would check in at 1, the receptionist rolled her eyes, sighed, and walked away. She went to the back, and didn't come back to the desk for another 10 minutes. People were waiting in line behind me getting frustrated. When she came back out, she asked me what she could help me with. She didn't even know I was the same person she was just working with. I waiting in the lobby for over 2 hours, and then when I got to my room, the smell was terrible. Like I said before, the smoke odor was overwhelming. I could not change rooms because I was there for a convention and getting a special rate. I am going to contact the hotel and try to get a rebate for my stay. 4 nights in that room was nearly torture. If that is how Best Western maintains it's properties, you can guarantee that I will not stay in one again. Also, the hotel catered the NASCOE convention I attended there, and I was not impressed with the service the facility provided at the Exhibit Hall. The meals the hotel catered were always late. I was served drinks in glasses that were still dirty after they were washed. If not for the very relaxing and nice pool area, I would have never spent any time in the hotel. Zero stars from me. Again, I will be contacting the hotel to request a refund of my payment.

Don't plan on checking in early if if they say you can!!!!!!!!We had asked for an early check in so that we could let our infant granddaughter stretch before we went on to our family activities,we were not able to so she played in the lobby and was a little hard for her mother to nurse her.

The water park is great. Very busy though so not really designed for toddlers. Pool area had plenty of room to sit and watch kids. Slide is fun. One thing- towel were NOT continued to be replaced on the towel rack so we missed out on towels. Which meant we had to walk back to our room dripping water throughout the corridors. Rooms were clean and tidy. Pet friendly also. Quiet area. Great for a stop over.

This hotel is huge. If you want a quiet room I suggest asking for a room away from the pool area. I had a lot of inconsiderate people in the halls walking past my room screaming as they went to the pool. Not the hotels fault. Also it seems everyone wanted to park outside of the lobby and leave their cars and motorcycles all night which is very annoying when trying to check in and there is nowhere to park near the door.

The water park is a lot of fun for kids to enjoy. Kids are able to make friends with others swimming because of the variety of things they have inside for kids to do. The rooms were very nice and clean, quick check in also!

The room was nearly average. It had some maintenance issues that were lacking. The room furniture felt forced since it didn't match and the fridge and microwave unit felt like an afterthought. The saving grace of this property is the fun-looking pool/indoor water park. We did not have the time to explore this amenity in our schedule as planned.

This hotel is great for families the indoor pool has a nice slide and kids area definitely a highlight if you have kids. The rooms are also very nice beds were great. Some remodelling was happening which is nice to see as this place is older and does need work but it did not bother us. This place was very nice for the 1 night stay we had.

We enjoyed our stay at this best western. It was clean and although an older hotel you could tell they have been working on upgrades. The lobby was quite dark as were the rooms. Rooms were a nice size. The outdoor pool area looked very nice from inside but we didn't get to it as the kids were more interested in the water park area inside. Fun water slide, water basketball area, kids slides, sprinklers and obstacle course. Very clean and well kept pool area. There was also an arcade and a very large fitness area. We enjoyed our stay, however, this hotel was not very close to restaurants or grocery stores and there was no free breakfast. Having free breakfast or being a little closer to these amenities would have made this good stay a great one.

Upon arrival after traveling in temps of over 100 degrees by motorcycle all day long, we are checking in around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 11 2018. We are hearing over the radio that maintenance is having issues with some rooms and speaking with the ladies at the front desk as we are checking in about each of the rooms to not put people in upon arrival. We were traveling in groups of 3 so we needed 3 rooms. When my husband and I were given our room, we took our things in and were getting settled in, I went to window in my socks and the floor was soaking wet near the a/c unit. It was soaked all the way out to the bed. This was actually the room that maintenance had reported to front desk to not check anyone into. When we reported to front desk that the carpet was soaking wet, they informed us that maintenance would have to give "ok" to get another room. WELL actually NO but we went ahead and let maintenance come to room. Jerry came to our room and was VERY PROFESSIONAL and polite. He said he would have front desk to get us another room even offered to help us with our luggage. We stated we could handle it. We got our room key and headed to second room that the front desk gave us. We saw Jerry there at that room. We thought he was checking room to make sure it was good to go. NO front desk has placed us in another room that was out of commission because of leakage. This room was still airing out. We are tired and ready to relax. Jerry has me to follow him. I wanted room upgrade. We are platinum members with Best Western and stay with BW on all of our road trips. The front desk did give me coupons to help offset my meal but this should have never happened. The front desk acted as if they could care less about what was going on which is the reason you are getting poor rating. If i was basing this review off of the service I got from Jerry in maintenance, you would be getting 5 star rating but unfortunately the front desk was the first and main part of this experience. Not many people will get to deal with Jerry and need to know about this experience. I did want to let you know what a valuable employee you have in Jerry though. He did go above and beyond his duties in making sure me and my husband were taken care of. BTW third room we was placed in still had moisture in carpet, it just wasnt soaked like the others.

First, the good: the room was spacious and clean, and the parking lot was shady. Beyond that, we were not impressed. This is a large Best Western, and the interior is a labyrinth. It has a restaurant, and that is probably why they didn't offer free hot breakfast or free fresh baked cookies at check-in, but those are things we've come to expect from Best Westerns, and especially those designated as plus. They did offer breakfast to go bags with a piece of fruit and a granola bar, but this is no substitute for a nice hot breakfast. There also are no chain restaurants in sight, the place has kind of an isolated feel to it. We didn't use the pools, but those seemed to be a big draw for families with children.

Checked into my room, there was dog food under the chair, which I had moved so it could be under the light, used bath towels on the back of my door, and by 4:00 the next afternoon nobody had been in there to clean it. I talked to the front desk they sent someone to the room, all they did was straighten out the bed, exchange towels, dog food was left on the floor.

We've been staying at this Best Western for 22 years. Our family LOVES to stay here because they know us and make us feel like family. They're so friendly and attentive. We especially love to stay in the summer to get to use the outdoor swimming pool. We have a large family and noticed that their new pull out beds were amazing ~ nicest pull out bed that we've ever seen

We stay in several hotels per year and this was was a bit of a disappointment. First of all, there are no elevators!!!!! What? We had to lug humongous suitcases upstairs to our second floor room. The rooms were pretty outdated and my sink didn't drain. You could barely turn the water on to a trickle to brush your teeth or else the sink would fill with water. The room was clean and we slept well. Just no frills.

stayed here one night on our trip,out west from Wisconsin. The facility is really a conference center and is pretty large. It needs work. The concrete walk in front of the doors to building C was cracked and uneven, making for a difficult entry with rolling suitcases. The elevator was actually in building B and we needed to walk quite a way to use it. The stairs were a better alternative, as long as suitcases were not too heavy. The pool and water slides were good for kids, and there were fairly many there. Biggest concern, was there was no free breakfast, and the breakfast package room was an up charge of more than two individual breakfasts.

We were extremely impressed by the beautiful and large outdoor pool! The water was a perfect temperature! The two indoor pools with slides and lily pads were great for kids. This was a good value in my opinion!

Our first "family" vacation, and after agonizing over locations we settled on "Ramkota" .. And wound up very happy with our choice .. Perched on a hill that faces the expressway, Ramkota is a very large and 'ranch' styled hotel .. Its very accessible from and just enough distance from the parks where its not too far to travel .. Yet far enough away to not be swarmed with vacationers the closer you are to the parks .. The lobby is 'uncommon' clash of ( South - Modern - Western ) .. Strangely it comes off as somewhat "chic" .. The decor is similar throughout the hotel the nearer you are to the front .. I was disappointed I never saw the bar open while there, but the restaurant surely made up for it .. Is very roomy and I think can easily sit 100 or more .. Their breakfasts are phenomenal ( and we never made it to breakfast buffet .. The staff was always friendly and helpful and frequently had useful tips for times and local activities .. But as usual I have to find at least 'one knock' for locations we travel to .. This one being: parking .. Not that parking is actually bad, but the location is so large you literally have to drive around the restaurant and convention center if you have a room in the rear of the hotel ..

We stayed here for a conference. We had a indoor poolside room, so no windows in our cave. We were lucky enough to wake up to kids screaming at 8 a.m. every morning. The room had been renovated several weeks before so several of the outlets didn't work, and the light switch in the bathroom had to be on in order for the TV to work. The bathroom fan didn't work either, so our room was hot and humid between that and the poolside. The update did not include extra outlets or new air-conditioning. We had the air turned to 65, but it never got comfortable. Sleeping was miserable between the heat and the noise of the air conditioner (think 1970's motor inn air conditioning), and the not very comfortable beds. The other downside was that they have a nice sports bar in the hotel, but don't allow anyone under 21 in it after 5 p.m. So we went elsewhere to eat and watch the College World Series. I felt like it was 1978 again and I was a little kid staying in a Holiday Inn Holidome hotel, which was cool in 1978, not so much now. The outdoor pool was nice and there were no screaming kids in that one. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the maintenance men were helpful figuring all of the things in our room that didn't work. Would we stay here again? Probably not. When my kids begged to leave and drive home to sleep in their own beds on the last night of the conference, it doesn't inspire a vote of confidence.

We stayed at the Ramkota for the first night of our vacation to the Black Hills. The hotel is very nice and easy to find...right off the interstate. We had a one bedroom suite. We asked for a quiet room and that's what we got. They tucked us away in a corner suite and we did not hear a peep. The room is spacious, and had great amenities. We had a beer in the sports bar; nice atmosphere and friendly waitress who gave us some travel tips. We did not eat dinner there; instead we went to downtown Sioux Falls for a bite to eat and hit a local pub after for drinks. The hotel has shuttle service, but they stop pretty early at 9:00. Tip: there is very limited cab service there since Lyft took over. We would have had to wait over an hour for a cab in the rain, as the pub would have closed by then. We do not subscribe to Lyft and I could not access the app as my phone was in airplane mode to avoid roaming charges out of country. Thankfully, the nice gal bar tending used her lyft app to get us a ride and I just paid her. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant the next morning. It was very good and the waitress was really nice and friendly. Wish we could have stayed another night there; Sioux Falls is a charming little city and if we are ever back that way, we would definitely choose the Ramkota again.

The National High School Coaches Convention was hosted here. They have nice facilities that made for a good convention. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking.

This hotel is right off I-29, easy access to everything in town but far enough away to feel like a secluded vacation. We stayed here because we had a wedding to attend and it is dog friendly!! There was also a Vietnam Veteran convention of some sort and with all the bikes and people, it still seemed very organized, clean and friendly. With all the extra people, this hotel did great!!!! The room was clean and tidy, the location of our room allowed for us to take our dog right outside without having to go through a bunch of hassle to let her go potty. The bed was very comfortable and the room stayed cool through the hot days!! Plenty on location to keep us from having to go too far.

First check in on June 10 was a breeze. Joe at the desk was very helpful, accommodating, and made sure we got our bonus points and a welcome bag! Room was very nice. On June 14 Coming back from Devils Tower in Wyoming we decided we could not drive all the way home to Indiana and decided to stay at the same hotel. We did not have reservations but there was Joe at the desk and he remembered us! He put us in a beautiful room—so comfy—and he was exceptionally friendly and welcoming! He is a keeper Best Western!

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable, the TV was a good size, and there was a fridge and microwave. We found the WiFi to be hopeless, and gave up on it. Milk powder substitute, absolutely horrible. Our pet hate, the plastic shower curtain. Parking was easy, and the service was friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay here. It was a great weekend to enjoy the outdoor pool which is rare to find in the midwest any more! We also received a discount coupon for the on-site restaurant which was great for breakfast the next day. Frontdesk staff was very friendly and suite accommodated our family well.

The hotel is clean and well appointed. Great pool areas. Friendly staff. Hotel is older so there's some disrepair but it is very clean so that didn't bother us. And they looked like they were remodeling rooms. Bed wasn't very comfortable but oh well. We really liked this hotel and will stay again.

Very nice hotel. Kids loved the indoor water park. The kiddy pool is great for toddlers. All 3 of my kids loved it and had a great experience. There is no lifeguard, so parents have to be more vigilant, but the kids will have a good time.

Don't bother reserving a room; you don't get what you reserve. Be sure to check your room thoroughly. Ours had dirty clothes from previous guests and appeared to not even have been vacuumed. We had a horrible time trying to even get into the room as there was a problem with the door handle. This was not just us; guests across the hall also had an issue. Staff wasn't very helpful at all nor did they say or do anything to rectify the situation. I had been here before, enjoyed it and was looking forward to it again before flying it. I was thoroughly disappointed this time and myself nor any of my family/friends/colleagues will be staying here again.

Had another great stay last weekend. Great water park area, spacious room, and comfortable beds. Everything you need on site. The kids absolutely love this place and asked once again if we could stay here forever.

Quick check in and out very clean. Toilet would keep running and had to wiggle the flusher to get it to stop. Beds are very comfortable and slept very good Pool was very nice and was not very crowded at all

This hotel was clean and bright. All amenities worked well. The staff encountered while walking in the open areas did not seem overly friendly at this location even when we tried to make eye contact with them. the lounge had great food and atmosphere. The waterpark was outstanding and everything worked well.

Checked in on a Thursday and requested a recliner for spouse, who recently had shoulder surgery.Staff was unable to get recliner on Thursday however by late Friday morning a recliner was brought to our room, so my spouse could rest somewhat peacefully, for the remainder of the weekend. A water park was on the premises and was enjoyed the entire weekend. They also have a restaurant and bar & grill in hotel, which we used both while at this location. A morning buffet in restaurant and reasonable prices, on Saturday afternoon we watch some spring college football games and had lunch while there. During the weekend we had meetings in the hotel and then on Saturday evening we had dinner served by hotel staff in a banquet room setting. The service was professional and the service was prompt and service was in a timely manner. Check out was a breeze and we were on the road very quickly! "Hats Off" to Excellent Service!

So I am someone who travels over 300 days a year. Currently I have been in the road this trip four weeks straight and I was here on business. My scheduled flight for Saturday morning was canceled due to weather so I thought I'd get an earlier flight Friday instead so I checked out of my room early get to airport and then that flight gets canceled due to weather major storm coming so I'm stressed out and been a long couple of weeks and now this . So I call the hotel and Lexie answers she remembers my name immediately I explain my situation to her and her calming spirit eliminates some of my stress because I am already convinced I won't get my room back well not only does she remember my name she states that since I had already paid for the night that even though I checked out early she can get me back in the same room . I'm still a bit stressed but when I show up she already has my key made and has extended my stay just in case they start to sell out due to weather she gets me rechecked in ASAP and back in my same room like I had never left . While I am still bummed my flight was canceled and I'm going to be stuck here from Friday til Monday. I am extremely thankful for the patience and empathy Lexie had for my situation. These days people in customer service roles tend to not be very empathetic to others situations but I could not have asked for a more pleasant experience in a very frustrated situation! Thanks so much to Lexie for her kindness when I was stressed . I would highly recommend this hotel based on my experience with Lexie as well as others not to mention the shuttle from the airport and convenient location ! The room was very nice, comfortable bed, coffee in room was great! We stayed in and ate at the bar/restaurant so that was very convenient. The front desk check in was a breeze. Everyone was very helpful! Main floor room was a must.

When the room was reserved, it was made quite clear that it was going to be used for a young child's birthday party and the question was specifically asked if party guests could swim. We were told this was fine so long as every child swimming as well as every adult and child who would be near the pool whether they were swimming or not. Fine and good. Fast forward to check in. The mother of the birthday girl checks in but forgets to purchase the extra wrist bands (7 at $10) vNo biggie. I run in to purchase the additional wristbands. I approach the front desk clerk closest to the door and she is friendly, professional, and happy to help. I think her name tag said Kim, she had dark hair. The second front desk clerk (shorter with reddish hair) quickly interjects herself into the situation and puts a stop to this purchase, interrupting the transaction and tells me that they don't sell extra bracelets because it just gets too crowded and she couldn't allow Kim to sell me any wristbands. I ask to speak to the manager. The reddish haired front desk clerk disappears for less than two seconds and comes back to say the manager has approved the extra wristbands. I remind her that I hadn't asked her to speak to the manager, I had asked to the manager myself. Suddenly the manager is so far away that she needs to be contacted by radio to please come to the front desk. At this point, I'm highly irritated as it's obvious the red haired desk clerk had lied when she said she had spoken to her manager, because there's no way the manager could have gotten that far away in the space of less than five seconds. I ask the manager to explain all the pool rules so that there were no more surprises and party guests would not be harassed. I am told that all rules are posted and she would speak to her staff regarding politeness. Arrive to room and find it has not been properly cleaned. Toothpaste on the mirrors, the floor was not vacuumed, whitish spots on the back of bathroom door, drip marks on the side of the microwave stand, hair on the bed, etc. just a half assed job all around. At this point we would have refused the room and left had it not been for the child's birthday party scheduled to begin shortly. when we got to the pool we found that very few people were wearing wristbands. So we paid $70 extra dollars to be treated rudely by a redhead since wristbands are in actuality optional. there was a shortage of towels, the second they'd bring a stack it was gone. The children did greatly enjoy the pool area, and while it's age is showing it does appear to be well maintained. We called the desk for extra towels and some trash bags to contain the party mess and that was delivered soon enough. We did also try out room service later and the server who brought it was friendly. The wine tasted watered down but the steak was excellent. If it hadn't been for the red haired front desk clerk we'd probably give this place another try but as it is no way in hell. It's several hours later and I'm still annoyed by the front desk clerks rudeness.

This place is gross! Right inside our room there was a panel to access the ceiling. It was hanging down more than a inch and was absolutely disgusting with dust and debris. The bathroom floor was dirty. The complimentary coffee tasted like sock water and was dirty and messy. Theres no complimentary breakfast not even a bowl of fruit to gab a banana or something and go. If you do want to order their breakfast be prepared 8small portions and big prices.

Stayed at ramkota with some family and this place is amazing, all the staff is awesome and super helpful they take care of there guests more than any hotel in town. Lexie and Ian helped me all night and I wasn't the easiest guest to deal with I was pretty angry about some stuff in my room but they made everything better and made my stay amazing, if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have had such a great stay! I will definitely be back to BW Ramkota in the future.

Over all nice hotel. Will be better once all work to room done. Food good at meeting. Staff friendly. Check out fast and prompt. Rooms clean. Noise minimal so you could sleep. was hard to control temperature in room .

This is the second time I have stayed here. We were going to Sturgis, and we stayed here on our last trip and decided to stay here again. The hotel is clean, the front desk staff were very friendly and room was clean, beds comfy, all you really need for a quick stay. We will definitely look to stay on our next trip south!!!!

The room was clean. The hotel was concerned about some room wall damage that occurred before our visit, even though we were not bothered by it, and provided us a free breakfast as compensation. Very welcome! A lot of families in the hotel for hockey and basketball games at the Complex.

I rarely give poor reviews, and before going public online I try to solve the issue. However, it was not welcomed, and later was unable to get in touch with sales or management. Here is a summary: -Friendly check-in on the night of 2/7/18 -Had a ground level room, upon inspection the window was not locked, this is a safety issue. -Inquired about a late check-out for the following day and was instructed to check in the AM. -I was coordinating a workshop in one of the meeting rooms (was a great room, but very hard to get in touch with banquet staff.) -Asked the front desk for a late check-out, was greeted with an unkind attitude by McKinzey. She claimed that many people inmy group had already asked for a late check-out. I tried to explain to her that it's not my group. (They were locals, who arrived in the morning.) She continued to argue that it is,even after I clarified the meeting room name (Roosevelt) and group name. She STILL persisted to tell me that it's the same group. I didn't argue for the sake of being happy and not right. (Their check-out is 11am, and we don't break for lunch until 11:45am, I tried to explain that to her, especially for the presenter, who physically cannot leave mid-presentation just to pack-up and check-out). I travel full-time for work and stay in hotels at least 5 days of the week, many times all week. I've never had such an issue of a later check-out especially given the circumstances. -I touched base with sales, introduced myself and requested a copy of the direct bill invoice. (Notice, that I had to seek them out). Was hoping to chat to her for a minute, she was rushed but promised that she'll give me a copy of the bill. I did not see her again, and did not receive a copy of the bill. -When I was checking out, I let them know about a billing mistake,they billed our direct billing account instead of my credit card. I asked to be corrected. Again, McKinzey displayed a facial expression as if I just asked her to move a mountain. She fixed without saying a single word. -One of the worst customer service experiences. -Housekeeping personnel was the only friendly face around.

The staff did an awesome job to insure that my grandson and I had an great stay. We enjoyed the pool and the take out pizza from the restaurant. We will stay here again the next time we are in the area.

Very good experience for the price. Family enjoyed water park. Food was good and priced right the time to order and receive the food was very slow. Otherwise it was a nice stay especially for the price.

Good experience. Great staff. Please look at recycling and fix the basketball hoop in the pool. Other than that they do a great job. Breakfast was very good and Frankies has good food options. They were working on some rooms and continue to improve the hotel.

Too many things wrong to list . do not stay here if you can help it. Used to be the cats meow years ago, but is very very bad now. We couldn't say one thing positive about this place other than it is Right next to I-29. Bad Bad Bad, sooo Bad. Worst place we have ever been, we even spent a lot more for suites. Pool side and even probably was worse than a cheap room. Worst time for our family Christmas we have ever had, ever at any hotel. Next time we may have to rent a house lol.

We booked this room with credit card points and it was listed as one of the cheaper options for 'poolside'. Turns out it was poolside for the outdoor pool. Not ideal in December. However, that did not bother us. It was room 1076 which was right near the indoor pool and waterpark. We checked in around noon and our room was ready. We had our four kids, ages 7, 6, 3 and 2 with us. Kids and us swam until 3:30. Pool wasn't crowded at all, but it was Dec 23rd. The waterslide does not have a minimum height requirement and all four kids were going down the big waterslide constantly. The three year old couldn't touch, but went down alone and we would catch him at the bottom. The 2 year old went down with us. They also have a couple little slides in the zero entry pool. The hotel room itself could use some updating. The bathroom door opened against the bathtub and there was only an inch or two of room between the opened door and the toliet leaving no room to get to the bathtub with the door opened. The drain couldn't keep up with the showering running. We ended up having plans changed at the last minute and didn't even stay the night so we showered and checked out of our room at 5p that night. There were some things in the pool area that needed repairs, but nothing that was a safety concern. The pool maintenance men did pull everyone out of the pool for 5-10 minutes around 1p to add chemicals. They do allow food in the pool area and the nearby Pizza Hut delivered it poolside. Lots of nice chairs to sit in if you'd rather just watch. Great place to go for the quality of the pool and waterpark features. We will be back...just hope they get some updating done before we return.

This is the hotel we most always use when traveling to North Dakota and returning. We enjoy the grounds around the hotel as well as the clean comfortable rooms. We also appreciate the caring and helpful staff at all levels, from check -in to service to check out. And finally, the amenities like the swimming pool and restaurant are excellent.

We stayed here for a 4 day family get together before Christmas. They do many things right. Clean rooms, very friendly staff, great location, fantastic amenities,and the restaurant has some surprisingly good food (buffet...meh). The only thing I would change is the way they make their beds. Very uncomfortable attempt at European style and even the children complained that the beds wouldn't "give them any covers." I remade my bed and asked the housekeeping staff to leave it alone...they didn't.

Staff very friendly. Hotel just off I-29 easy get too. Rooms were very clean and the staff seems eager to help, the young lady at front desk when I sign in, went above and beyond to make sure all questions answer. Hotel is pet friendly, your pet is your family!!

We have been staying at this Best Western for 25 years and they're like family ~ ALL above and beyond friendly!!! they offer great rooms, pool (indoor and outdoor for summer) and it is conveniently located to many things we need to attend especially doctor appointments and sporting events

Nice room very spacious super clean nice size TV new furniture stuff was very helpful over the phone letting us know how to get there with great directions made it for a pleasant stay very nice setup I would definitely stay there again

This location is great for families with children. The pool areas and water slide are a great amenity for families. The only downside to the pool area was that due to so many families using the pool, there were not enough pool towels to go around. The location of this property is also great if you are attending an event at the Premier Center

The rooms were somewhat noisy and think an option of some white noise would help? Like a alarm clock with a noise option would be helpful just heard lots of water heat vent noises that prevented me to sleep and pillows were lumpy as well

We had a family get together, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the kids and adults had fun in the water park, and the staff were all helpful and polite. We were close enough to the other attractions we were in Sioux Falls to see.

Rooms are clean! Beds are comfortable. Rooms are quiet. Staff are very welcoming and answered our questions and gave us a map of Sioux Falls. Coffee was hot and fresh in the morning. Showers had perfect pressure and temp. Right off the interstate. We will be back!

Staying at the Best Western Ramoka was better than i expected. The room was so conforting and smelled very good. I ate at the bar and there were $2 well drinks that evening. Del, the bartender was delightful and we talked through my meal, my santa fe salad was delicious as well. Thank you !

I brought my basketball team to play in a tournament in Sioux Falls and I chose to stay at this location last weekend. The reason I chose the Ramkota was because of the pool area and the proximity to where the tournament was being held. The cleanliness of the hotel is poor, it is in need of a major update. There was wallpaper coming off the walls in the bathroom and the fan sounded like an airplane was going to land in the room. Our room was right by an exit and the noise level was ridiculous. I understand when you have a room by the exit it will be a bit noisy but there was a large group of kids staying at this hotel and it was apparent there was not many chaperones because they ran around the halls and pool area and did whatever they pleased. One of my players families even had 3 boys come into their room while they stepped out for a second, luckily nothing was damaged or stolen. I coach multiple teams at the youth and high school level and when we take our teams out of town the hotels we usually stay at will offer some sort of perk for the group coordinator for choosing to bring their teams there. This location doesn't do anything for the group coordinator and didn't even get a thank you. It's safe to say when we return to Sioux Falls for our next tournament at the Pentagon we will be looking elsewhere.

The Ramkota is easy to find close to the interstate. This was not a great experience because there was a large group of "kids" staying for the weekend also. They were very disrespectful to other customers, and mistreated the facility.

This BW was easy to find and right near the highway. We chose it because it had outside access doors, and that was good for our dogs. They had a nice grassy area for the dogs. The bed was super comfy, as were the pillows. Water pressure was good, staff were helpful, and lots of electrical outlets to charge up electrical items. I recommend this hotel.

Great hotel with everything you need right on site. Very hospitable staff. Kids loved the water park. Good options for food available at the hotel, even for our picky kids. Comfortable rooms and beds. This is our top pick when staying in Sioux Falls. Looking forward to our next stay!

Try the others, they will not be anywhere near the hospitality of this one. Someone said this hotel has been around a long time but it sure looked great to me. I think they may have just completed some remodel.

The lobby and all common areas very nice! Newly updated. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were OK, nothing wrong with the bathroom but the Pillows and beds were horrible! was there with my sister and mother. All three of us said it was the worse night stay ever. None of us slept. Constantly tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. The pillows were just horrible, several were so huge it hurt your neck and the beds sunk in the middle and were just awful. The lady told us at check in the rooms are being remodeled in 2018. I would like to recommend this place but the #1 reason I was there was for a good nights rest and I did not have a good nights rest.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but the room we were given was older than ones we've had in the past. The bathroom was in need of updating and the beds and pillows were not very comfortable. There also wasn't a "Do Not Disturb" hanger so the maid knocked on the door while my family was still sleeping.

Totally awesome stay! Kudos to all the staff for friendly quick service. Maple Street Grill has awesome food. Hotel easy to find, right off I-29. Expansive parking. Rooms I thought were freshly renovated. Had a very pleasant chat with Mike the Night Auditor as I visited the lobby for coffee that was freshly brewed and delicious! Being a Night Auditor at the Best Western Kelly Inn in Yankton, it was wonderful to have a nice conversation with someone who does what I do! Definitely would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay!!!!

The event and catering staff know what they are doing! Julie C. was detail oriented and made sure I felt comfortable before our conference. Alexander and Evie, as well as the catering lead, went above and beyond all day! Very happy with our visit!

The Ramkota used to be a very nice hotel. Unfortunately it appears they have not put a dime into the rooms in a very long time. The lobby is very nice but once you arrive in your room you may find large wrinkles in the carpet, outdated decor, broken furniture, mildew in the shower, crack in the ceiling, and very old and uncomfortable bedding. I was very disappointed and will not be staying here again in the future.

Spent 1 night during a recent tae kwon do tournament located near by. The room was nice and clean and was well maintained. Based on a limited interaction with staff they were all friendly. We did vist the breakfast buffet in the morning. The food was fair at best but the price was reasonable based on the over all quality. I would seek breakfast else where if you can. Over all we enjoyed our stay and will likely be back next year.

This hotel / room is what you expect these days. It is a good place to stop to get some sleep while traveling and you need an over night. I did not check out the rest of the hotel but I would probably not stay here (based on our room) for an extended stay (3+ days). It was standard, basic hotel room. The check in staff was not very inviting. The check out staff was nicer but still lacked the pleasant demeanor that seems to have all but disappeared in today's customer service environment.

Checked in on Tuesday, got my key cards went to my room and tried unlocking the door...and nothing. I figured I had accidentally put my cards too close to my phone. Went back to the front desk and was helped by McKenzie, she checked my cards, which were okay, and called maintenance and asked them to check the battery on the lock. Maintenance came cleaned the lock and my key cards started working (never checked the battery). On Wednesday evening had similar issues with key cards, took them to the front desk, this time helped by Ivy, she also checked the cards, cards okay, maintenance was gone for the day so a manager just getting off work got me in the room again. Thursday, same issues tell McKenzie the issues are back, she calls maintenance and I go back to my meeting. Come back to my room after some time passed keys still don't work right. So I am guessing the front desk staff did all they could and well, maintenance not so much. Still fighting the lock on Thursday evening. So, Thank You McKenzie and Ivy for your assistance, you gals rock!

Lobby was updated and new, but that's where it ended. Room was older and run down. The carpet between the beds was so sticky we had to wear shoes the entire time. We called and asked specifically about bathrooms in a 2 bedroom suite and were given completely wrong information. Expected 2 because that is what we were told, arrived to 1 for the 6 of us.The water park was not open (the only reason we chose this hotel) and no one told us even though we asked specifically about it before booking and also upon check in. If you are looking for fun with your family there are probably better hotels out there.

I was one of only 2 in charge of planning our weekend reunion events for almost 250 people. The hotel staff offered us a great deal on blocked hotel rooms and continued to add rooms to the block as they were reserved. We also encountered limited parking at a Friday night event not held at the Ramkota. The hotel provided it's shuttle van to shuttle hotel guests to and from a different hotel for that event so the guests wouldn't need to drive. Our Saturday night event at the Ramkota was also a great success. The facilities were perfect and the food was delicious and extremely well presented. Julie Coleman, the event director, was amazing to work with and made many suggestions that were great ideas and greatly appreciated. She and the chef went above board to provide for special diets. Thank you Ramkota for a memorable event.

I generally stay at Best Westerns when I am traveling. I have been staying at the Best Western Ramkota since my kids were in diapers and I feel I have built a relationship with the staff. They remember me when I arrive and always greet me with a smile. They are like staying with family. I also utilize the lounge , restaurant and a few other amenities. Great place to stay, rather it be business or leisure, you can't go wrong.

This Best Western is not one of their better motels. Could use some help from Country Inn Motels. Over all value is way below other Motels of the same standards. So look around before You stay at this Best Western.

I attended a convention at the hotel. I want to say up front that the customer service and staff interaction was exceptional. I only wish the facilities matched the staff. Doors wouldn't shut. Standing water in the shower. My room smelled of either mold or some sort of standing water/moisture. There was staining on the carpet in my room and the hallway. However, if they update the facilities, there would be no issues. Whoever is in charge of hiring people is doing a fantastic job.

Came to town for a concert and got a room through getaroom.com. Despite the issues we had with the reservation through getaroom the hotel was very helpful in finding us a place to sleep for the night. Thanks to the hotel staff who helped us. The pizza hit the spot after the concert but the restaurant food could use some improvement. All in all 4 out of 5 stars

I was very disappointed in this hotel, most best westerns have much better up keep. the first thing that happened was they gave me keys to the wrong room. It just went down hill from there. The rooms were dirty and in poor condition. the beds are like sleeping on bricks,

Don't stay in building C. Rooms smell, mold in the shower, Hair in the bed and the sink was broken. The staff didn't seem to care. This is the last time I will stay there. I am a travel agent and I will make sure all of my clients are aware of the issues,

Terrible, check out time is 11:00 am, check in time is 4:00 pm. It is now 7:00 pm and our room is still not ready. Tried checking in at 11:30 and was told the room would be ready at 4 the guaranteed check in time. Came back at 5:00 and was told the room was still not ready, 2 hours later I come back at 7:00 pm just to be told the room is STILL not finished????? What a joke. I have never paid to stay in a room that I can't even check into. I asked to speak to the manager and she informed the front desk she was busy eating and would not speak to us. What a classy group of people they have running this establishment. Can't wait to see how clean this room is after waiting an extra four hours to get in it, on top of the 5 hours they had from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. Worst experience at a hotel I have ever had, and to be treated so disrespectfully by hotel management and the front desk is appalling.

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Best Western plus Ramkota. There is so much to like about this place: * The staff are excellent. They are very accommodating and helpful. Anything you want, just ask, and if it's possible, they will do it. And usually with a smile. * The indoor pool is absolutely over the top. Kids and adults can play here for hours. What a treat. Did not expect to see this at a Best Western. * The rooms are OK. Larger than average and with all the amenities such as coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, super large and comfortable beds and very quiet. * The restaurant and bar are very good. Not very expensive and the quality is fine. Not gourmet certainly but good. We had the artichoke and cheese appetizer and it was so good. Came with 5 large garlic toasted sourdough bread and chips. Almost a meal in itself. The bar is loaded with TV'S and free popcorn. The beer is cold. What more could you want. * The shuttle service is very good. Whether it's transportation to and from the airport or being transported somewhere in town, they will schedule it and follow through. No questions asked. * The breakfast buffet needs a little help. Just pretty basic. Overall, we were very pleased with this hotel and definitely would return here.

DIRTY AND OLD! The room was very small and was not cleaned well. We had to get new bedding because what was on there looking dirty and used. There was a bad odor in that wing of the hotel. The lighting was very dim too. BUGS BUGS BUGS!!! Not what was represented on the web site and worth the money at all!

It was another great stay. The staff at the front desk are wonderful and when I mentioned a funeral offered the bereavement rate which was nice. On Friday morning, Terri from house keeping knocked to check if the room was empty; I opened the door as I was just leaving. What a wonderful conversation we had, she is a very delightful person to visit with. The room was wonderful, clean, great internet service, nicely appointed to accommodate my work computer and Excel books. A wonderful stay under the circumstances. Thank you,

Stayed at the Ramkota for 2 months back in 1988 for work, had not been back since until last week. The Ramkota is not as glitzy as the new, cookie cutter motels in the area, but is very clean, comfortable, and well kept. I felt it was an excellent value, has a more upscale feel at a price close to the economy / budget hotels in the area, and those cannot compare to the experience at the Ramkota (I've stayed at several over the past few years...). Nice clean, comfortable place for a family stay.

Clean. Toilet in our room was running when we walked in. Had to hold down in order to flush. Not a deal breaker. No breakfast in the morning which for a Best Western is thought of to have. Decent place to sleep if on the road. Staff at the front desk were friendly. A bit far from I-90 if looking for a place off the Interstate. Great for kids as there is a water park area. I would stay again.

We have stayed at this hotel previously, but we were always in late and out early due to travel schedules. This time we had more time and found this facility to be much more than we had seen in the past. They have one outdoor pool and I believe two indoor pools. They have a restaurant and a "sports bar." And the grounds are much better than most comparable hotels where we have stayed. We took the time this time to walk around the grassy areas and found them very relaxing. Likewise, we had time to sit and relax in their outside seating area near the outdoor pool. Very nicely done.

After driving over 800 miles in one day, the Best Western hotel was a safe and reassuring hotel choice. The hotel staff was friendly, the hotel clean and neat and the room impeccable! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sioux Falls, SD.

This is a very quiet, comfortable hotel located right off Interstate Highway 29. Rooms are clean and quiet, and beds are very comfortable. Internet connection is good, and there is a good variety of television channels available. The bar/lounge in the hotel serves meals until 10:00, and they are happy to take your order even if you arrive after 9:30. I recommend the steak. There is a restaurant in the hotel that serves a good breakfast. Staff is pleasant and helpful. If you are staying in Sioux Falls, the Ramkota is an excellent hotel to choose.

Excellent place to stay. Nice hotel and nice people. We had a poolside room with a king bed and it was very comfortable. The staff was helpful and even held some items for us until we returned in a week.

The fixtures were loose and hard to operate. The vents were dirty. There was no channel menu for the TV. No phone book. No breakfast but 20% off the in house restaurant. Hotel needs a major upgrade. 90's style motel. I will not stay at this Best western again!

a hotel nothing special, however it does have a large pool and a grassy area for outside walks, plus some interior hallways that are a tad bit dark but all in all its not a bad joint have been in a few worse, and a few better so its all relative to what you want and expect

Check in was efficient. Room was clean and quiet. The restaurant had good food and good service. This is a big hotel so it may be a walk to the restaurants and front desk. Property well maintained. I would stay again

Guest room met all standards of cleanliness and was well equipped. The room AC was too noisy. The Danby refrigerator had a noisy whine. Bathroom fixtures in good working order. We had to plan our own route on the hotel map in order to walk from our room to the hotel lobby. The facility is large and the signage was lacking. No complimentary breakfast is provided; instead, a 20% discount on 1 meal per night is provided in the on-site bar/lounge or the restaurant. An elaborate water park is on site, but cannot compensate for the lack of a complimentary breakfast.

They are always willing to accommodate with our special requests and needs. The pool is amazing. It is perfect for babies, toddlers on up to adults. I like the fact that there is two swimming pools, so the one for the smaller children don't get splashed by the older kid don't splash them. It is nice to be able to bring your own food and beverages in. They can be by the pool area as long as no glass is used. Just a great place to rest, relax and have fun!!

Good value, good rooms, Great People and Service. Easy to get to - on and off I90. Great Bar and Grill, excellent prices, and Staff. They were very helpful and seemed to truly sincere. Me and my 3 buddies had just ridden of 500 miles that day on our way to Sturgis, this place was a great place to stop, relax, and recoup.

FUN weekend at Ramkota :-) Great Service, Clean Rooms, Kids loved the swimming area! Enjoyed the indoor and outdoor swimming pools! Wished you had continental breakfast....but that is a minor request! Can't go wrong at Best Western!

The hotel didn't have our reservations and is in desperate need of a complete remodel. The hotel staff were friendly but not very knowledgeable. The meeting room was good and met our needs. If it wasn't for a business meeting I would not have stayed at this hotel.

Chose this hotel for the water park which is great for kids. The indoor water slide is fun and not too fast. It's a lovely place with nice accommodations/rooms and the hallways and rooms were quiet. The lobby is very nice with a grand staircase.The only "downfall" would be that breakfast is not included; kids can eat for 99 cents, however, with a paying adult. Nice folks!

Really nice stay will definitely stay again. I really needed a place to stay to get some sleep. The bed was very comfortable and the WiFi was great. I would really like to stay again to enjoy the pool. This motel is absolutely beautiful.

Hotel staff was excellent: friendly, caring, responsive. Wi-Fi was completely unusable because it was so weak. The room had a funny smell, but was clean. Beds were comfortable. They do not offer complimentary breakfast. My kids really enjoyed the indoor water park. It's small, but they were happy with it. I enjoyed the fitness room.

Strong chemical smell in room, maybe from pool. When the kids are screaming in the indoor pool echo chamber (which is constant) there is no excape from the noise in the room. Hear protection required. Pool closes at 10 so the noise stops but powerful chemical smell remains. Restaurant was a ghost town except for two families w small children. So maybe a child friendly place. For the cost of $130.00 a night for one adult, one can find a better place in Sioux Falls.

We were only in Sioux Falls for less than 24 hours. We didn't expect to see much as we were only in transit but the hotel's shuttle service was FANTASTIC! They provide free shuttles to anywhere within the city limits. I wish more hotels did this. This saved us a lot of time and stress getting around in a city we weren't familiar with. Ian took the time to give us a tour around Sioux Falls in the shuttle, which was above and beyond what he needed to do! And Jamie was great too as she dropped us off at a home outside town where we needed to be the following day. This is a really great service that makes this hotel a unique stay. Also, the front desk was extremely friendly and professional. Wish we had time to enjoy the water park!

We had the opportunity to stay at this property while in the area visiting family and attending a local event. We found the Ramkota to be a very comfortable and pleasant property, the front desk staff were most welcoming. Rooms were clean and fresh with plenty of bathroom towels for 3 adults sharing the room. We would definately stay here again when traveling in the area.

This place seemed a little careless regarding customer service. The front desk personnel were often outside smoking while customers waited for attention and when I called front desk to ask for help with password sign on, the response was "Gee, haven't they corrected that yet?", which leads me to think my inquiry wasn't the first. Overall, not so impressed. Best Western ought to send their own secret shoppers out for a good evaluation.

Beds are hard as a rock. Couldn't sleep due to back pain. Was up all night with back pain. Rest of the hotel was good. Loved the water slide and the pools. Food at the restaurant was good, expensive though.

The bar and motel were wonderful. Everyone was friendly in the motel and at Frankie's. Breakfast buffet on a saturday morning was not good in the Maple Leaf Cafe. We loved both pools and will definitely return.

Check-in person friendly. Fan in bathroom broken. Only one soap per room makes it difficult for someone to take shower and another person washing their hands. No overhead lights required multiple table lamps. Even so, was difficult to light up room adequately. Not able to check out on TV because that feature wasn't working. Door to pool area was out of alignment. Positives: room had microwave and small refrigerator.

We stayed one night here passing through South Dakota. Our room was large, clean and quiet which is all we really care about for a one night stay. Breakfast was very good with a variety of items to choose from. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Very friendly staff. Lounge is great and the outdoor pool area is beautiful. Nice place for business travel as well as family trips. Handy with a lounge and restaurant on the premises as well as indoor water park and outdoor pool.

The room was updated and clean. We chose the Ramkota because of the pool area for kids. It did not disappoint. We didn't realize that there was also a large outdoor pool until we were checking out. It would be good for someone who wanted to swim some laps.

We were very satisfied with all aspects of this hotel, from the location and climate in the room to the hotel restaurant. We went for breakfast close to closing time, the waitress was very accommodating and took our order and let us enjoy our meal and conversation way past closing, she was the best!!!

Attended a conference at and stayed at the motel. It was very clean, friendly service and within location of earing places and shopping. From making the reservations to check out the customer service was very good. I would recommend your motel as the place to stay in Sioux Falls.

This is a very big old hotel that is improving. A couple of examples our room was clean and in good working order yet the ice machine and whirlpool were out of commission. Ate at the hotel restaurant for breakfast, prices were reasonable and service was good. The hotel staff we interacted with were great. Look forward to seeing the mgmt can do with this hotel. From my perspective the room cost is fair value for what you get.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times for business and with family and rarely do I have an issue. The rooms are modern and are always in working order. The hotel staff is professional and very helpful. I can only remember one time I had a bad experience at check in and that was after a late arrival. The hotel features a bar that has a good menu that you can order off of and take to the pool. They also have a regular restraint that serves an good buffet style breakfast on the weekend. The hotel has an outdoor pool as well as indoor water park style pool. The indoor and outdoor area allows you to bring food and drink in to them that does not need to be purchased at the hotel until 11:00 p.m.The King bedrooms in the newer section are very nice if you are traveling for business. I would recommend a pool side room for the outdoor pool during the summer if traveling with family.

This facility is a very nice place to stay over while traveling for business or leisure. It is close to I-29 and has a nice work out area and pool, lounge and restaurant as well. If you need a location close to Denny Sanford Arena this is a very easy accessible venue to get over there and back.

Been staying here for 20+ years ~ ALWAYS treated like family!! I love that they remember me, greet our family by name, we love the rooms ~ especially having 2 rooms w 2 bathrooms ~ easy to get in and out ~ great location, love having indoor and outdoor pool

I've stayed here many times while in town on business and have always been satisfied with the accommodations and service. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant on-site are not bad and convenient. The location is right off of I-29 and Russell which makes for easy access. The front desk staff can be hit or miss depending on who is working, but I've always been able to get whatever I need from them. Overall it's a nice hotel at a fairly reasonable price.

We received excellent personalized service and accommodations from the staff. They were very helpful I would stay at BW Hotels every chance I get. We arrived without reservations and the desk clerk made sure we had a room and gave us suggestions on restaurants in the area. We were very happy.

Hotel management made the decision to give up my room despite the fact that I called them specifically to let them know that I was going to be checking in around 10 PM the night of my stay. Manager try to accommodate by offering me food coupons which did help however on a business trip with expectations and a phone call in advance of the state very disappointing. If you book this hotel please be aware they have a policy of giving away rooms as I ran into other business members that had their rooms also forfeited by management in the same time.

The location is great, right off of the interstate. We were there in mid-June for a concert nearby and my husband chose the property because the hotel offered a free shuttle to and from the venue which was great! The property is sprawling and the grounds are beautiful with hydrangeas and daylillies in full bloom. There is also a decent restaurant on site and prices and food were quite good. Everyone on the staff was friendly and very helpful. I did take a peek at the indoor pool area, but my eyes started to burn from the chlorine so I left. The big negatives I had about the property were the really dirty bedspreads and the light switches in the bathroom. The light switches were right underneath the hanging clean towels which was kind of disgusting. For the management, we were in room 1046.

This hotel has a awesome pool but got there a little to late to experience it but there were alor of people leaving the area..... wish I had the time. Over all it was a quiet stay even though they had a bunch of soccer players there that evening.

Stopped here on the way to another destination. I think we got the last room - grabbing it online from the highway. Got a good rate. They have an onsite restaurant and also a sports bar. Went to the bar and had a salad and wine. Stopped And talked to the ladies at the desk. Very informative and friendly. Lots of kids at the water park but they didn't bother us. King room was wonderful. I highly recommend!

Nice enough with anything we needed there. On check in I told them they had my check out date wrong but I had to call the front desk two more times when I kept finding invoices for checkout twice too early. My confirmation showed the correct dates. Other than that it was fine

The rooms have 3 doors-- hallway, parking lot and adjoining rooms. Except noise. Old construction makes next room shower sound like a freight train. It is very large for this type of hotel. Complete with water park for kids. Place was full due to kids soccer tournament. Kids were well behaved. The bartender Darrel was efficient and friendly. Best thing about the place. Staff were efficient and friendly. Over priced for the quality of the rooms. They make you sign an agreement not to smoke but our room smelled of smoke when we checked in. Probably won't be going back.

We stayed at the hotel when it was jammed pack with kids - ours included for a Regional Soccer Championship. Under these circumstances the hotel staff did a great job of accommodating and handling any issues. We had wifi problems but considering every room was loaded with kids from age 10 to 19 there was an overload on the system. And we had a challenge with our air conditioning. But in both cases problems were quickly resolved and attended to. The staff is friendly and the accommodations are typical for a family hotel with indoor water park. In other words they do a pretty good job of maintaining considering the constant abuse it gets.

This Hotel was a good stopover place with quick access back to the Interstate.Everybody seems glad to see us and veryhelpful as well. I would stay there again if needed. That area is a little short on quality places to stay, so this Hotel was a real treat.

Easy access from interstate on our trip going west on I-90. Clean quiet rooms, professional helpful staff. Good breakfast at on site resturant. Wifi worked well. good value for the cost. overall a satisfactory stay for good value.

Very friendly and clean. To high of a price for just normal traveling night stay for me. No closet doors also bothered me. It had a lot of great features and the pools were wonderful. A little bit of something for everyone.

Bar, restaurant, outdoor pool, indoor water park, giant conference rooms, this place just keeps going and going. The staff goes above and beyond to make you happy. My only complaint are the rooms are old and need to remodeled. Other than that its a great place to stay.

Our Family Reunion gathered 48 of us and a couple police dogs in a weekend of comfortable spaces, big indoor pool, side rooms, and even conference rooms all set up with projector screens, sound system, wireless mic and delicious wonderful meals served just for our family at a very reasonable rate. All the staff went out of their way to make it a memorable Family Reunion. Their free shuttle took us to the Rotary Park trails and water falls, the National College Rodeo, the free art festival down town that weekend. The Planetarium right next door I want to see on the next visit. I would highly recommend this for family and business alike. The professional Theatre setting was a stage and multimedia facility with comfortable chairs and well equipped tables elevated so all could see if large organizations gathered executives for a meeting. I'd highly recommend this if you're in Casper WY for a night or a week.

I think the hotel was fine, staff were nice eventhough there was a SCEAMING woman at the front desk that was mad because they would not just issue her a key with out permission of the room ocupant (seems legit to me, esspecially now days). The room had a slight smell to it but that was not a big deal to me. Nice pool area for the kiddos, nice meeting rooms, restaurant service was pleasent!

No pool rule supervision. They post rules but no one follows and no one from hotel is there to manage. Got shoved out by housekeeping continually knocking on room door at 8 AM and 9 AM. Check-out is 11 AM.

I booked here through a 'name your own price' option on Priceline. I arrived late but they were pleasant and got me checked in quickly. The property is a bit dated but was comfortable and clean. On my way to the room, I noticed lots of teenagers who were on a school trip. They were running the halls and being super loud. I got into my room and within less than 5 minutes, these kids were already knocking on my door and running. I called the front desk and this was immediately stopped. I heard them speaking to the kids in the hallway and I had no more troubles that night. Overall, a good place for the price. Nothing spectacular but it is a clean, safe place to stay, even when traveling alone.

Had a great time. The water park is awesome for the kids and the outdoor pool is great for adults and older kids. the restaurant is very nice and the pizza is great . The lounge is relaxing and serves great food. Lots of room for the kids to run.

I usually figure this hotel will be fun for my family and the room will be average. My problem this time is the room was not very clean, there were a few weird stains on the floor in the bathroom and the walls. The outside door by my room didn't lock, so anyone off the street could wonder in. The rooms around us must have been having a family gathering because they were partying in the hallway until 230 am. Also, the big water slide needs a lot of work. It looked like maintenance to it had been ignored for years. The staircase was missing half the railing, and the rest of the railing was wrapped in duct tape to hold it together. And the staircase to the water slide was covered in a lot of rust and rust holes.

This is a great hotel, and I don't want to overshaddow that, but it would have made sense for them to update the room's heater/AC and the mattresses when they updated everything else. Other than that, this is a top of the line hotel with a fantastic pool.

Rooms were clean and well-appointed. We did not encounter any issues with the room at all. The pool is a great feature, and certainly a draw for families. Many rooms face right onto the pool. The do have a small fitness room with decent equipment, but it was located in an out-of-the-way place behind the pool. We dined at the lounge, Frankies. We ordered nachos and drinks. The nachos were so-so. The drinks were pretty good.

The pool is run down and the overwhelming smell of chlorine goes far down the hallway from the pool. Rooms are very dated and some have entrances from the outside. Don't stay here! Stay closer to the mall at the newer hotels

This was a very nice experience. Very clean and all around a wonderful experience. A great party for all the army guys that attended. A wonderful great reunion for all the guys that went and graduated flight school

We have an annual event here as it is the largest facility that can handle our group and breakout sessions. We are always blown away by what an awesome job Julie Coleman and the staff do. From the private bar for faculty social with incredible hors d'oeuvres to providing a wonderful efficient luncheon for hundreds of participants. The food is awesome and the staff are friendly and courteous. The decorations and ambience make you think you are in the big city. A great deal of effort that is really appreciated. Thanks Julie, we'll be back.

We stayed here last evening and spent a lot of the night not sleeping. Here's the pros and cons. Pros- right off I29. Pretty quiet for being beside an interstate. Pretty quiet because it's a huge 1960s convention motel (I remember when it was built). Fairly large rooms. Lots of parking near each room. Cons- Really soft square pillows. My wife used a bath towel for a pillow. Very loud,old in room heating and cooling units. If you like loud white noise you'll have it in spades. No nearby restaurants if you're not eating in the motel (go south to 26th Street I29 exit - lots of choices). Really thin sheets and really bumpy blankets like a Barber carpet. Lots of exterior light coming in your windows due to ground mounted lights that shine on the building facades. If you like a Hampton Inn or Courtyard type hotel, this isn't your place. If you want a clean basic place and are a good sleeper, or bring you own pillow, this may work well for you. As stated in many other reviews, the staff is very nice.

Having the restaurant and lounge on site where the meetings are conducted makes it so convenient. Staff is always pleasant and professional. Food is much better than typical hotel food. Nice atmosphere.

What a great Hotel to stay at...Upon check in, we were welcomed by Cindy! We was very professional and was able to answer all of our questions...great personality! During our stay, we enjoyed the lounge, food was great as were the beverages :) When we checked out the next morning, Tiffany was also very friendly and made sure our stay was a pleasant one....We would just like to say thank you to these 2 gals. We will be back!

Spent the weekend at the ramkota5 in Souix Falls South Dakota. the hotel Was very nice with pool and hot tub offered. the staff was very helpful and went above expectations. Security was very friendly and helpful.

We had a gathering of our immediate family with 8 kids ranging from 3 to 20. We had 3 rooms that the girl working at the desk (red hair) I believe her name was Molly Jean., coordinates and followed up on every need we had and then some. The top of the tier when it comes to comparing how well she took care of our family.

It was Sunday night and the restaurant was closed but in-house sports bar open with the same menu. It was so nice not to have to leave the premises. Front desk was professional; first room was smoky and we were immediately moved.

The hotel staff was friendly during check in/out. The towel bar in the bathroom was quite rusty. Other minor issues in the room that could use attention. Also a toy was broken in the pool and they left the chains laying on the bottom. Kind of easy to stub a toe on. Otherwise, a nice place to stay for a little getaway.

Our room location was ground level and not far from the pool which was nice. We arrived on a Saturday evening and was excited for our 9 year old to use the pool, which was our main reason for selecting hotel. The pool was packed. All the tables were filled so my husband and I found some chairs to sit in to keep an eye on our daughter. As my daughter was having fun, my husband and I kept an eye on the towel bins. They were constantly empty. Anytime a "few" towels arrived, they were gone before we could walk there. My hubby kept making a routine walk around the pool, hoping to get lucky and get a towel when they were being replaced. After many circles, he was successful. He also decided to sit in the hot tub. There were no jets to control. Just a few jets that continuously ran which provided no relief to his back. When they say the pool says it closes at 11pm, it closes at 11pm. They tell everyone to leave and turn the lights off. As we walked down the hall, someone had spilled popcorn all over the floor. We decided to let our daughter swim the next morning. I was shocked. The popcorn was still in the hallway. When we got to the pool, not a single towel in sight. Dirty towels still around the pool tables and gummy bears along the edge of the pool. I surely thought that everything would be cleaned and towels would be stocked overnight. We were at the pool at 8am and stayed until 10am. Still no towels. Another guest asked someone and were told they were being washed. My daughter absolutely loved the pool, but as parents, we see the details. Would we stay there again, yes, but only if we are traveling with our daughter for a special occasion and have free time so she can swim. I know they are doing room remodels in 2017, which will greatly improve the look of the rooms. They are a bit dated, but were clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.

This place is filthy, has MOLD in the bathroom. I was over charged $50.00 the room door handle did not work. I was told the building is old. It was suggested to me ways the I could fix it. The outlets in the rooms are so worn out that they will not hold a plug. This is a FIRE HAZARD! I would not suggest staying here. The Best Western Towers is a lot better, with very helpful staff.

Came for a three night stay. Meeting family for an early thanksgiving vacation. Called and asked for first floor poolside rooms near each other. Upon arrival was told we were on the second floor and that was all that would be available. Rest of family checked on was given ground floor requested second floor was told those rooms were unavailable even though we called in advance at time of booking and requested rooms near each other. House keeping forgot to clean room called the front desk and talked to Hailey who was only slightly helpful but had someone come and clean the room. Next night a birthday party is being hosted by a guest renting a room. All tables are covered in their stuff and there is no tables or towels available for paying guests. Their is food and latex balloons popped and all over the floor around the pool. Our son received a black eye who just happens to be a toddler by an unruly guest. We called the front desk, went to the front desk and was told the birthday party was not registered guests and they should not be there. The party continued anyways. I would not suggest to anyone with toddlers or other children they want in a safe clean environment to stay at this hotel. We have received wonderful suggestions on where to try the next time we are in town.

Nice place, we were tired and had good experiences with other Best Western Plus hotels so we pushed on to this hotel and it was a pleasant stay before our trip took us south. Staff was pleasant an attentave.

The ad offered wifi in every room. Very important as this was a business trip. No wifi available in my room. I called IT, on the phone for over half an hour. Still no wifi. So I went to the bar... perfect wifi reception! Worst steak I've ever had in my life. It was cooked to perfection, medium-rare, but like it was threaded with dental floss!! Bartender was gracious... She offered to replace my steak. I replied, "Only if it's from a different cow!" She knocked $15 off my bill. I won't stay there again. If you have kids, they'll love it! Fantastic pool area! If you're 5 years old!

Great accommodations with restaurant on site. Had a restful sleep and continued on journey to North Branch, MN. Easy access from I-29 and I-90. Had both an indoor and outdoor pool but we were unable to use but both looked great.

We had a certificate for a free stay at this hotel! It was very nice. It had an indoor and outdoor pool and the outdoor pool was very nice. It went to 9ft, don't see that in a lot of hotels anymore. Rooms were spacious. This hotel is VERY big. It only has 2 floors but it took us about 10min to walk to our room from the front desk. They do have a parking closer to the rooms that are farther from the desk, so make sure you know where to park in order to be near your room!

This hotel had excellent employees. Friendly and professional. The room was great. Had everything we needed. Also, we loved the pool and hot tub..The temperature was perfect. The water park for children was so nice. I did not have any children with me but other parents were having alot of fun with their kids there. I will be planning on staying there again. We were a party of 4. I was excited for my grandkids to relax at the "water park". The photos indicated a water obstacle course and water slide. The website indicated a king suite had a sofa/bed. The room only had a king bed for 4 people. Management changed our room to a double queen. The key lock worked one time and then quit unlocking the door. Second key did the same thing. Management sent a technician to change the battery in the externally mounted lock while we went to the pool. The pool was a disappointment! What appeared in the photo as an obstacle course is actually a kiddy pool and was closed due to lack of proper maintenance. The hot tub was warm not hot. The water slide was nice but the rest of the pool was quite small- impossible to swim laps. Back at the room the key would not unlock the door ... again. I would not recommend this motel.

Stayed here for a recent tournament near by. The room was clean and we had no complaints. We did have ever seen pool side rum which was nice for the kids but can get a bit loud at times. Pool shut down at 11pm which was nice but was already loud and busy at 8am on a Sunday morning. The staff was over all friendly.

I stayed at this property in Sioux Falls while traveling there on business. When I got to the hotel I was told I was upgraded to a whirlpool king room due to my Diamond status. What an understatement. I had 2 doors to choose from, one entered my king bedroom with a vanity and bathroom, a standard room. I noticed an open door in my room and when I went through, I was greeted with a huge living room with a large wet bar with 3 high top stools, a large sofa and easy chair, a square table with 3 leather chairs and a mega bathroom. a 2 sink vanity, HUGE walk in shower and a giant whirlpool tub. One of the nicest rooms I've ever stayed in. The staff was wonderful and helpful. Great hotel, I'll stay here again!

We stayed here for 1 night while on our way down to Keystone, the room was a good size, there was 5 of us staying in one room we booked two queen with pullout. Was decent, clean, except for pullout, it had some stains on sheet. Since I was sleeping on pullout I complained to front desk, they put me in adjoining room for the night. We spoke with house keeping manager in morning, and spoke with manager, everything was straightened out. Even with small problem with pullout I would stay here again

First of all, there were noisy children running up and down the hall for several hours after we checked in. If we had known it was going to continue like it did, we would have asked to be moved. We were upgraded to a suite, but the room and furnishings were "tired" and somewhat worn. Even tho we had a large room, two baths, two TV's, etc, it wasn't "top quality". As usual for me, "plastic" is not what should be offered in glasses and utinsils for the cost that was charged. They also did not offer a "Free" breakfast. There was an elevation to our floor from the parking lot so had to hand carry all of our luggage in and did not see a cart for that purpose. As a whole, the place was just not overly friendly although the check in staff member was very helpful.

I have stayed at the Ramkota through the years due to its location and over all good service. My last stay found the room to be very nice and they appear to be in the middle of serious upgrades. Close to the new arena and the airport and just a few minutes from downtown, this location sees a lot of business and repeat business at that. Will stay again.

My company hosted a workshop in this hotel and I must admit it's not bad. Cindy, the lady that checked me in after arriving at 1030 pm, was very courteous and was able to track down my BW account for points. The driver that picked me up (he didn't introduce himself) seem to like the local Badlands radio station (94.5) a lot. I was given a room on the second floor close to the stairwell going to the pool area. I believe it was in one of the rooms that were newly renovated. Free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to local spots. We were dropped off at Falls Park and were picked up before the driver's shift ended (which was at 11 pm). Too bad we didn't bring our suits but we would've taken advantage of the two indoor pools. One was called the "percolator" and had 100 feet of slide area. There was a wading area and also an outdoor pool.

The location is perfect for touring Yellowstone National Park. The room we stayed in desperately needs upgrading. The staff are very helpful and very nice and the breakfast is good. The attached gift shop and restaurant are nice features as well. We were there in late September and it's a great time to see the park, BUT PLAN AHEAD as everything may be booked.

Hotel is starting to get dated. They keep it clean which is good, but flooring/baths need updates. Ceiling in rather low in hallways. Pool area was nice for kids, but hot tub needed some updates. Fitness area was hard to access ( through the pool) and was lacking in equipment. Stayed in room 1101. It was quiet, but the back door to the alley in the hallway never locked. All in all it was a pleasant stay. Decent food, especially the pizza in the bar. Looking forward to some updates though.
