Best Western Shelby Inn & Suites

Everything was great, from the friendly staff to the super comfortable bed and pillows. Shower was great, room was clean and everyone was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good. We also stayed here in March and had the same great experience.

Great accommodations! Friendly people, great breakfast! I always enjoy my stay in Shelby Montana at the Best Western. Everything is clean and smells good. Business Center, Fitness Center, and Pool are always fresh and clean.

This hotel is brand new, the rooms are huge, and everything is very nice and clean, well appointed and well-kept … and the beds soooo comfy and perfect after a long day on the road. Definitely recommend this!

I want to be clear, I have slept on uncomfortable beds before, but I have never had a worse night sleep in my life, if you can call it sleep. The hotel was very clean, wonderful staff and a great breakfast, but all of that is overshadowed by the fact that their beds are so uncomfortable. I know that all 5 rooms that my party stayed in, they all had the same review, it was like sleeping on a stack of cardboard. At 0330, i finally got up and took the sheets off the mattress to make sure that I wasn't sleeping on 2 box springs stacked on top of each other. I will never stay/recommend this hotel to anyone and will advise anyone I know traveling to the area until there is a giant banner hanging fron the hotel that reads: "NEW MATTRESSES!"

I stayed here on a recent business trip for 3 nights. Other than it being winter in northern Montana, the stay was great. The breakfast was good, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms and facility were clean.

They really need a mattress topper the bed was rock hard and very uncomfortable. The couch in room was broken. However the room was immaculately clean and staff was amazing. If bed was different would've been great.

This hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was great! This is a great in between point to stay at if you are travelling to Glacier or Kalispell with a much more affordable price.

I have been staying at this location for many years when I am in the area for work. I have never had a bad encounter with any of the staff, the rooms are always clean and they do a good breakfast. Definitely recommend it.

We chose this hotel as it is pet friendly and it truly was. We had a room close to door and there was a nice area to walk our dog. The breakfast was outstanding! Fresh fruit, non-dairy choices for milk and yogurt, hot entrees, fresh pastries. I highly recommend !!!

I highly recommend the best Western in Shelby Montana! It is a beautiful and clean hotel with friendly staff. Their breakfast is phenomenal always fresh and hot and very tasty, the breakfast staff always made sure everything was well stocked and clean. It far exceeded many hotels I have stayed at and I rate this one right up there with Marriott!

The hotel and rooms were very clean and roomy. Breakfast was fantastic and very friendly staff. Beds were nice and comfy, very quiet. We will definitely stay here again if ever in Shelby, Montana again.

I was charged twice for my stay. I have not been refunded my second charge. Staff are not helpful with the matter. I've been hung up on by phone when calling to request assistance. Will not return. Very unhappy.

This hotel was a first for us. It had a walk in shower in the room. Never had that in the states. Very nice hotel and the breakfast was substantial. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. We would stay here again but it is a little pricy albeit you are near Glacier NP. so they can get that price.

We ready enjoyed ourselves. The check in was fast the gentleman on the counter was friendly and helpful. Our room was large, had a king bed (which was very comfortable), the pillows were very comfortable because there was five of them you could use as many as you wanted. The room was nice and clean, the fridge had a freezer which was nice, the fridge was a little noisy we mentioned that when we checked out and they made a note to have it looked at that day. The free breakfast was great, the room was so clean. The two ladies running the breakfast were so nice and they were great picking up your dishes when you finished with them and checking that you were doing OK. We were so impressed that we called them over and thanked them. Check out was very smooth and again the lady was very friendly The hotel was close to a grocery store and different food spots. We will stay there again when we travel HWY 2

Our bed linens smelled like an old sock and poop. When I pulled the bed spread back there was a brown smelly substance on comforter!!! Hotel staff never apologized and gave me the wrong sized linens when replaced.

We stopped here on a Glacier roadtrip. This is a fairly nice hotel in a fairly industrial area of Shelby (trains roll by outside and the parking lot is half gravel). The rooms are large and clean and they were able to provide us with a rollaway bed. There is breakfast which was decent, not spectacular, but better than cold pastries and coffee.

We stayed here one night on our long road trip home from Glacier NP. We arrived late and left early, but it was clean, pleasant and well lit. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed it. Would stay here again if needed.

This is the place to stay in Shelby, MT. The hotel is ideally placed in close proximity to the highway and short trip from the town. If you are staying in the area or just passing through then this is the place to stay. The hotel has a pool and great complimentary breakfast.

Friendly front desk staff. Quiet room. Clean. Very impressed with the breakfast and breakfast room staff. The food was better than a lot of motel food and the staff was very attentive. They helped patrons with mobility issues, brought around refills for coffee and were available to answer questions.

The employees were friendly, accommodating, the rooms were clean. They were willing to allow us to stay longer than originally expected, due to problems with closing on my house. I loved the hot tub in the mornings, and the treadmill at night. The breakfast was the best we've experienced since having left Alaska. We needed to stay longer, but they could not accommodate us, and that was ok.

Stayed here on our way to Glacier National Park. Really a very nice hotel for the price. Hotel, rooms and staff very nice. Free breakfast was really amazing and attendant was amazing! Highly recommend! We were worried the quality of hotel we would be getting but honestly was better than the Hampton Inn's we stayed in leading up to this stay.

Friendly welcoming staff! Nice clean comfortable rooms and good hot breakfast with an assortment of hot and cold breakfast items. The hotel is right off of I-15 with a large parking area if you are pulling a trailer.

Hands down this is one of the nicest hotels to stay at in Shelby Mt. The comfort inn comes in at a close second only the because the BW was newly renovated. The hot tub is never working and the gym is just ok. Go to comfort inn if you're looking to relax in the pool and hot tub with a better gym and sauna.

We stayed at this hotel on a return trip from the west coast for one night. The two queen studio suite was very roomy. The room had a nice sitting area with a sofa. The room was hard to maintain a good temperature, so it was either hot or cold. As someone else mentioned, the driveway was in very rough condition an not very clear as to where to enter. The town itself was almost like a ghost town on a Sunday afternoon.

My wife and I were travelling from Denver ro Alberta Canada and needed a place to stay along the way. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem in Shelby Montana. There are large, clean rooms with nice amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Who could ask for anything more?

Pool was arctic cold couldn't use it.Hot tub was Luke warm. Sidewalks were so icy I fell. Room floors were dirty. Always loud at every best Western we have stayed at and always sonething is dirty or not working. Elevator was out of order for hrs.

This place is spotless! We came here after a horrible night at the Oyo down the street. The staff was so helpful and friendly, breakfast had every option and tasted great! Worth the extra money, we won't stay anywhere else in Shelby moving forward!

I am a pilot car in wind energy. Shelby is a stopping point on the way to Canadian border. I have stayed here many times through the years. They understand our crazy, unexpected schedule. The GM Rachel runs a great Hotel. From desk staff Megan, Danita, Jeff and Sandi who are always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is always hot and awsome. Shelly and Sandy do a great job. Also, housekeeping and maintenance. Rooms and property are very clean. The beds comfortable. Thanks to all of you for making it feel like home.

The Hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff there all ways said good morning when I came downstairs for breakfast and they always had a smile. Breakfast was delicious.

We love the folks at Shelby BW and the hotel itself but we really appreciate the full breakfasts they serve. Wow! Not the cereal &yogurt you get at a Super 8.cookies at check- in, a great gym, hot tub and friendly staff make this our favorite hotel on our twice yearly trip from Alaska to Arizona.

Me and my wife decided to stay in Shelby as they have a Best Western. Our girls were playing league games both Friday and Saturday so we decided to stay in Shelby instead of traveling all the way home and coming back in the morning so the girls could be well rested. They used the hot tub to soothe the aches and pains from 3 games Friday evening. I like the BW breakfast as they seem to have one of the better breakfasts from the hotel chains. We had a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend my friends and family to stay when they have camp in Shelby or nearby towns.

I was having internet problems in my room and called the front desk and she advised me that the reason for the internet problems due to there being a bunch of teenagers in the motel.. I asked if i could use the courtesy computer and she said yes. After getting the work done that i needed I had to print a document and of course the printer would not work. So I went out to the front desk and the clerk was on her phone watching a football game. I love football, but she would not put her phone down during our entire conversation. I told her about the printer and she came into the room carrying her phone with the volume up so loud we could not communicate. Ended up telling me sorry didnt know what was wrong. Walked away and went on to watching the game behind the front desk. I was very mad about the whole situation and I understand things happen beyond the control of people working. So i took a deep breath and just went to bed.. Next morning yay same clerk behind the front desk. I walked up to the desk and she was playing on her phone. I just stood there saying nothing because i wanted to see how long it would be before she noticed me. Well eventually she looked up and said sorry didnt see you there. I was checking out of 7 rooms that i had booked and that is a complete other sorry!! Not usually one to write this kind of review but I was not impressed at all!!

Was going to Glacier National Park and needed a place to stay for a couple of nights. Reserved room online. Was given a price but when got to hotel the price was $56.33 more than original price was told it would taken off at check out. Still has not been removed. When we were driving in it was a dirt road and potholes everywhere. Semi trucks parked near by and was started up very early in morning not great sound to wake up to. In the room bed was very uncomfortable and pillows were small and lumpy. Looking at carpet there were stains everywhere looked like it never been cleaned. The only good thing I can say was the staff was friendly and food was good. Will never stay again.

Rooms were very clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. They offered a nice breakfast and had different variety of main dishes each day. Quick trip to Glacier National Park and friendly small town shops on main street.

I had the misfortune of having to deal with the night person at this hotel when I checked in. He was the rudest night person I have ever had to deal with in my 50 years of traveling world wide. When I attempted to diffuse the situation he only became ruder and dismissive. I will never stay at this hotel ever again. I would choose to sleep on the side of the road rather than provide any form of income to this hotel, hotel chain or the owners of this hotel. The night clerk only reflects the people that hired him.

This newer Best Western is a good choice in a forgettable place. Our large room was very comfortable. The breakfast was the basic you would expect. The staff were all friendly and helpful the only downfall would be getting to the hotel. The entrance is through a parking lot of some adjoining stores. The pot holes could easily cause serious damage to your vehicle and believe me you don't want to get stuck in this town.

I recently stayed at the Shelby Best Western for several days while visiting Glacier National Park and the North American Indian Days in Browning, MT. The rooms were fine, and the trip was comfortable enough until my final night at the hotel. I was printing my airline tickets in their small business center out of sight but within earshot of the front desk. A guest approached the desk and made the comment to the desk clerk, "I saw an African American man outside earlier. What was he doing here?" The desk clerk chuckled and commented in an apologetic tone that there was more diversity now in the area. The guest and clerk then engaged in a discussion of the guest's true "American" heritage and lineage (e.g. European), with the clerk chiming in occasionally with affirmations. Honestly, I was taken aback by the casual racism of the overheard interaction. I'm just not used to that in the hotels I frequent. Best Western is an international brand, and I would have thought an employee of one of their franchises would have been trained better than to participate in that type of conversation. The message was clear, I and anyone who looks like me is unwelcome at this hotel. In my 20+ years of traveling for work and vacation, this is the first time I've ever heard a hotel front desk clerk engage and affirm a guest's racist comments out loud. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

I overheard racist comments between the desk clerk and a guest. I suppose they thought it was OK because I looked white. I did not comment to them because I did not feel safe - I was in rural Montana where everyone but me carries a gun. I could have been shot or worse. I did not feel safe. Do not stay here. They also played FOX News every morning at breakfast for the 6 days I was there. If they had alternated TV news, I wouldn't complain. But it was a steady diet of lies from FOX News.

Very nice hotel but pretty spendy. They have all the amenities that one would need except food options. You can tell the staff care about keeping up the hotel to high standards. I do recommend this for a place to stay.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was outstanding! Everything was fresh. We especially loved the fresh pastries that were local from Grains of Montana. Staff was always busy making sure guests had what they needed and keeping fresh food on the buffet. Would highly recommend!!

The staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean and they offered a nice breakfast. The only downside I experienced was food choices in the area. This is of no fault of the Best Western, but if they had an actual dining facility it would be a HUGE bonus.

First of all there was plenty of parking on a gravel lot for big trucks and busses, motorhomes, etc. Also tons of parking on asphalt for small four wheelers on all sides of the building. Very friendly staff with fresh home made cookies at the front counter. Room was very clean and spacious. Very comfy bed, best sleep I had in days. The full hot breakfast was a nice treat and open at 6:00am for us early risers.

We were on our way home to Canada, but the border we were crossing at had closed by the time we arrived. The next crossing was 3 hours away. We drove as far as we could until we arrived in Shelby. We were too tired to continue. We found the Best Western and checked to see if they still had rooms. We were fortunate to find out they did. They were very accommodating. They provided everything my family needed for a comfortable stay even though it was very late at night. I even tried to provide the front desk clerk a tip, but he refused and said it was his pleasure.

We were coming through Shelby yesterday on the Amtrak from Seattle to Chicago. Long story short, because of a derailment, we ended up in Shelby for 24 hours. Everett, Shelly and Randy all went out of their way to take great care of us. Shelly was awesome at breakfast, ensuring we were well fed for our next leg of the journey, and she also made sure the shuttle to the train was set up for us. She made us feel like we were with family. Randy drove us to the train and stopped at Albertsons so we could get things for the trip. Very friendly, and kind. Everett at the front desk was encouraging and warm, as we were not sure another train would come by, but it did thankfully. Had it not shown, we would have been back at the Best Western again I am sure. In the midst of not knowing anyone or where to go for help, this Best Western was like being taken in by family for the night, thank you so much! And a shout out to Wade, the Good Samaritan who drove us from the train station to the Best Western when we realized we were going to be there for the night. Such good people!

We are pilot cars in the "wind energy " industry. Our schedules are unpredictable, most times. ALL the staff goes out of their way to be accommodating. An example is yesterday. We arrived in Shelby around noon. I did call for our room and advised. When we arrived, Megan checked on our two rooms. They were almost done. I said it's all good. Before I knew it, there was 4 employees, Including Megan in the room to finish. Wow, what service. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast is awsome and the staff. Again, incredible. (Sorry, bad with names) Anything you need is there. Always, make you feel at home. We are in motels nightly. I always look forward to our stay in Shelby. Thank you all for going beyond expectations.

Front desk was quick and accommodating. Amazing full breakfast, bacon,eggs, potatoes etc.. Room was clean and bed comfortable, great sleep.Nice size television. Would recommend for a day or a week. ENJOY

Just the best stay I had on my 3 week trip. This was our last stop and it couldn't have been any better will stay hear next year for longer period of time. I sure hope they keep the same staff dinning room and made serves was exscelent. Thank you Jim

Friendly staff, very nice rooms, great free breakfast in the morning. I wish all motels had this level of quality. The room was spotless and the heat / AC was very responsive and quiet . Very handy to the highway, short drive to downtown Shelby to Alibi Pizza, downtown is classic old style downtown.

We were going to stay in Havre Montana but they were booked so we drove 120 mi more to the next BW and the price was $70 more. They cater to the Railroad ,oil workers, and businessmen passing through. Don't stop there unless you want to waste your money.

Only 1.5 hours to Glacier National Park. Wonderful stay very clean and friendly. Very good continental breakfast. Little store by front desk for candy and pop. Nice pool and hot tub. A few little restaurants in town

Nice new clean hotel actually serving a full hot traditional Best Western breakfast. The "lunch lady" made it her own, a little annoying for me, but I guess some people like that sort of preformance. We were just glad to get a little more than an apple and a water. The rest of the staff was great!

Always clean and a very friendly staff. Have stayed here many times over the past two years for work. Have never had an issue with anything here. Breakfast is good and with many options. Just a nice place to stay when in Shelby. Very clean and quiet.

Nice, conveniently located hotel; across the border from Canada. Good service, full (extensive and delicious) breakfast. Accommodating rooms, good shower, quite. They have a gym and a pool, both which I did not use. Ample parking, even if you drive with camper of U-Haul.

Glacier National Park is about a two hour drive from this hotel. Highways are fast and straight. This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of service, cleanliness, and complimentary breakfast. Recommend staying here if you are not staying in the park itself. There are not many good options for sightseeing or eating in Shelby.

We were making a pilgrimage across Hwy 2 across the US and stopped here after a long, dusty day on the road. The front desk was pleasant and efficient and the hotel quite nice for being in a small town in the middle of plains country. They obviously cater to passing tourists and business people going from one place to another and they treated us very well. Note that restaurant options in town are limited but the hotel itself is very acceptable. We'd have no problem recommending it or staying there again.

This hotel was a nice stay on our way to Glacier. The rooms were clean and the hotel was also very clean. Things still seemed somewhat new, so my guess is this hotel is only a few years old. The pool and hot tub where small, but perfect for kids to burn a little extra energy after a long car ride! The breakfast was hot with plenty of choices. Due to COVID, there was someone who served you the hot items. All other items were individually wrapped. We would definitely stay here again if we passed through Shelby.

We usually stay at Best Western whenever prices are comparable to other hotels. This hotel appeared to be fairly new. The fellow that checked us in was wearing his ball cap on backwards and not dressed very nicely for front desk staff like we have come to expect. The room was large and seemed to be missing a sofa. Big empty space there. Breakfast was fantastic and service was great.

Beware the hotel will not give the AARP discount should you reserve a room in advance via internet. When we inquired during checkout why the AARP discount was not applied, their answer was that it was not given at time of checkout unless you reserved directly with BW. Decent hotel but counter service lacked.

I stayed 3 nights and never had and type of maid service at all. The bed is lumpy, the sheets uncomfortable. I was expecting a better visit. Try the Comfort Inn if you want comfortable beds. The room also does not have any usb ports, so make sure to bring a wall charger for electronics. You can just tell the place was done as cheaply as possible.

We stayed in Shelby on route to Nevada. While this hotel would not have much competition (they are the only decent looking hotel in the wide area), we still had a very pleasant experience, with the staff being very helpful in helping us to find places to eat and drink.

Charged for an extra night, lied to by desk staff, Manager refused to discuss. We checked out one day earlier than the original reservation stated. We informed them at check-in that we would be checking out one day early and the person said we would not be charged. He said to call the next day to confirm. We called the next day to confirm and were specifically told we would not be charged for that night. The bill arrived with the extra night charged. When we called to have it removed, the same person said that we called too late, after 11 am. Recall that the same person had specifically said we would not be charged on that call. The manager refused to discuss it with me on the phone. We'll stay at the Comfort Inn next time.

It is not much of a town but the hotel is very nice. The service was excellent and the staff accommodating. The rooms are nice, clean and everything works. You get a slight sound from the trains going through town but it is not bad and I did not notice it at night at all. Good stay.

Our stay here was OK, dealing with covid-19 created some problems for us. No food available at hotel sight. Not even fast food, ha to go into town to find food to a grocery store. They did offer coffee

Excellent service, extremely clean rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful and ensures the guest experience is great. Despite the pandemic situation, every effort to ensure we were well taken care of was made in a most responsible manner. Fabulous staff!!

We stayed at the old BW in Shelby a few years ago - it was old, mildew smells, front receptionist had enough strong perfume on to gag a maggot (and caused me to have a major allergic reaction). The new one is wonderful! I stayed there this weekend, and it was completely full due to so many Canadians who winter down south headed home due to border closures from Covid 19. I was exhausted from a long drive and just wanted a quiet, restful sleep. I was very pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was, even with that many people there! Bed was wonderful, room great, staff very nice & helpful, and all dealing well with the craziness of it all. I also very much appreciated the larger refrigerator with the freezer compartment - traveling close to 2000 miles, I was carrying my own food with the CV risk going on too. Thank you for a much needed rest and great stay!

This hotel is nice and new, the rooms are clean and well appointed, the staff are friendly. They have an excellent breakfast buffet with a lot of options, including hot items. This hotel really goes the extra mile with fresh baked cookies upon check in and little to go bags with water, granola bars, and fruit for those that are leaving before the breakfast bar is open. I will stay at this hotel when ever I am in the area.

I have stayed here many times over the past 4 years on my way to and home from Palm Springs and the Hotel has always been great! I have had the staff adjust the height of the bed to accommodate me in transferring from my wheelchair to the bed. It has always been done before my arrival. Thank you all at the Best Western in Shelby MT.

Very nice, clean hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Internet was fast and reliable. Nice hot tub and pool. Breakfast was good. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Pet friendly hotel with good areas outside for pets.

My husband and I stay here every trip we take down south. Always very clean, great breakfast and the staff are friendly. We had an excellent sleep. It is an easy on and off the highway. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is very nice and very clean. The front desk gentleman was exceptionally helpful and provided a great experience overall. When factoring in the low price, this hotel is outstanding. The front desk remembered my sons and myself from a stay a couple of months before which made us feel very welcome.

After spending all day in Glacier we were just looking for a clean quiet place to crash and this Best Western is so much more. Large room with a sofa seating area was nice and very comfortable beds. GREAT breakfast! Wouldn't stay anywhere else in this area. This is the place.

Great place to stay. Very quiet even with the train station not far away. Can't even hear the trains. Very nice new clean hotel. Views are not as nice but that's OK. Staff is very friendly especially the front desk girls.

This hotel was outstanding, hitting high marks on cleanliness, service, and comfort. We stayed here with a dog, which is like traveling with a forensics team. Whenever we check into a hotel her first order of business is to inspect every square inch of the floor, including the darkest corners, looking for interesting bits to put into her mouth. She found absolutely nothing. Not one single crumb. THAT is clean. The room was large with high ceilings, spacious shower, comfortable bed, a huge flatscreen TV, and it was very quiet in spite of the fact the hotel was full. Breakfast was served in an immaculate room, with plenty of options. Every single staff member we met was extremely nice and ready to help make our stay enjoyable. Kudos to all who work hard to make this hotel such an enjoyable place to stay. We would enthusiastically stay here again.

My family and I spent the night here before heading over to Glacier. The room was very spacious. I slept on the sofa bed which was pretty comfortable for a pullout. The bagged bedding in the closet was covered in hair so I ended up using my own sleeping bag. The regular beds appeared to be clean. Breakfast was a miss for me. Selection left a lot to be desired and the attendant kept staring at me while I was eating. There are also not a lot of food options in town, although I did get my late-night Pizza Hut fix! The hotel seems to have Fox News blaring on all of its TVs at all times... personally I would rather stare out the window at the featureless landscape stretching to the horizon, but I guess some people don't feel at home without Laura Ingraham yelling at them while they eat their oatmeal.

The staff here is amazing! So nice, welcoming, and friendly! The room was clean, and comfy. The bed and pillows are super comfy. I love that the rooms have a bigger fridge, and have a microwave. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

This was our second time here and both stays were great. All the staff members we encountered were exceptional, the room was large and was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast casserole was terrific. There is not a lot in Shelby but this location works for us as stop on our journey. We will definitely be staying here on our way home.

Room was large and clean, tv was decent, and quiet. Breakfast had thickly sliced bacon, and hot coffee. A decent hotel in a out of the way place. Be care ful of the driveway, it has huge holes and not taken care of

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Glacier National Park. We were checked in by a pleasant lady. I asked to see room types, the housekeeping manager took me on the grand tour, rooms were super. This lady was so helpful. We enjoyed great sleeps hear, we were offered rooms at the back due to trains passing at front. We opted for front of hotel, no problem with trains. The breakfast was good.

Management here is top notch! The dinner prepared for our group was great. Staff well trained & friendly. Great accomodations & attractive comfortable rooms. Wonderful breakfast buffet. Loved it!!! Highly recommend. Linell Slater

We stay at the Best Western often my wife is in a wheelchair and the drive-in shower was awesome totally recommend this hotel for anyone that is handicapped the hotel is very new and very clean they even welcome. With a sign at the front desk

Service was good but room did not seem to have a queen beds rather full/queen beds. And could not cover blue light from thermostat display to darken room. Great breakfast selection and kids loved the warm pool.

The staff are great. Every single one I met were kind,polite, friendly. They welcome your business and enjoy having you there. I will stay again whe I'm in the area. They have a shuttle that will take you to and bring you back from some of the local restaurants

Made reservations and showed up in allotted time. Reservation had been given away pending charges on business visa showed prior to us arriving. No check performed on whomever checked into our room for ID or visa used for reservation. Be careful of this place and your personal information. Desk clerk confused and not helpful became confrontational as we were informed it was not his mistake. Will not be staying here ever again on trips and all of those we know travelling through will heat as well. Stay somewhere else things like this are where identity theft starts.

The hotel was very relaxing and made us feel at home after a long days drive, The pools and hot tub were so refreshing and a fresh breakfast is the best way to start out your day. The staff was very cordial and inviting and I would recommend this hotel to any one.

I reserved a two queen room for a party of three people. I arrived to the hotel, the receptionest checked me in and sent me on my way to my room. By my surprise, the room was a king suite, so I went down to the front desk and asked to be switch to my original reservation, but he said that the hotel was full and that they had gave me an upgrade because of my Diamond status. Since when an upgrade is to have one person of the party sleep in a pullout couch? Anyhow, I didn't like the way they went about my reservation. They should have checked with me.

This is a greal place to stay when travelling either, after crossing border or on route for Glacier National Park. Just off I 15 but very quiet rooms, modern decor, friendly staff. The included breakfast was great, the breakfast casserole was awesome.

We began looking for our room in or close to Glacier National Park a little late. When we began shopping for the room, we discovered very limited availability, and the rooms available were not very desirable. I began searching for a room a little farther away. The photos of Best Western Shelby looked attractive and comfortable. We were fine with driving an hour to the park because we have had good experiences with BW's in many locations. The price was much less than hotels closer to or inside the park and we knew we would have free breakfast. Our stay was very good. The hotel is very remote, so don't expect many things to do or see in the immediate area. We arrived in the evening, checked in, and asked the front desk clerk where we could buy snacks and food for our drive the following day. He was very helpful and directed us to the local grocery. The bed was very comfortable in the room, and because the hotel is so remote, there was no noise of traffic. It is close to a train track, but we never actually heard the train - maybe it did not pass through while we were there. The next day, we went to breakfast before heading out. The breakfast was excellent, although the biscuits were hard and cold. We did not complain, but just enjoyed the rest of our meal. The staff at the breakfast area was very courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a trip to Glacier. The drive there is easy, except for some construction right now that might slow you down a little. The price was right - much cheaper than anything at St. Mary or inside the park, and a much better value too. The rooms were comfortable, clean and quiet. The pool looked very nice too although we didn't have time to swim.

We called ahead to make a reservation for a wheelchair accessible room and was told they did have a room available so we booked it and paid with a credit card in advance to hold the room, again confirming it was an accessible room. When we arrived I asked to look at the room to make sure it was accessible and it WAS NOT accessible at all. I went back to the front desk and said it was not accessible and was told that the accessible room we had booked was occupied and now not available. The desk clerk seemed to high as a kite and was practically unable to talk. She offered almost no apology and said we may be charged for "looking" at the room. Nice hotel but the absolute worst customer service. If you book a room be sure to confirm before you arrive as the management of this place is just awful.

A wonderful hotel with great service and all the amenities you would desire. The pool and hot tub is nice, the breakfast is hot and good with much variety and as always I love their cookies! We definitely keep this on our list as a great hotel to stop at!

Despite being perched over a very busy trainyard,close to the 15 freeway, and with an rv campground behind, this was a very quiet place to sleep. Staff was good. Room was clean and quiet. As for the breakfast... My compliments to the chef. She put together a potatoe, egg, ham and cheese cassarole we will be trying to copy because it was so good!

Waited 15 minutes at front desk to get a room. No one at front desk. Another guest came also and waited and finally left wishing me good luck. Read good things about the hotel but not that night. Finally left went to Comfort Inn.

Clean rooms, friendly staff. Breakfast was good with a good variety. Check in and check out were very efficient.The location of the hotel is very convenient. The road into the hotel is rather rough and needs to repaved, many potholes.

We stayed here for one night on our return to Canada from California. The check-in clerk Rebecca was utterly friendly and helpful even after I broke a bottle of wine and spilled a tea mug all over her check-in when she would have had every right to be annoyed by the mess I inadvertently created. The hotel is clean, modern, and the room we booked was more than adequate for 4 adults. The breakfast selection was great (appreciated the tortillas so I could make a breakfast burrito) and the staff were all welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this hotel!

Walked in yesterday and they couldn't find our reservation. Had a reservation with my last name, belonging to my nephew, but not mine. I had to go into my email to pull up my confirmation, and then they found it. (Note... this hotel isn't that big...) What if I hadn't found my reservation? While pulling up my email, I actually found a second email confirming my reservation, with a DIFFERENT confirmation number. (We had changed our reservation from 2 nights to 1 and added my membership number to the reservation.) Instead of making the change, they made a second reservation. So, I'm not sure why they couldn't find EITHER reservation upon arrival. Jenn took good care of us and canceled the extra reservation. But then, after we checked in, we're heading into the lobby, only to find that my nephew's reservation had been cancelled, and now they are sold out. He had a reservation when we checked in only 90 minutes earlier! Here's the problem... I understand that things can happen. I understand that mistakes can be made. But Rebecca didn't do ANYTHING about it. No apology. No acknowledgement that YOUR staff screwed this up. No attempt to make this right. Even an effort to help call around and find another room in this small town would have made a difference. And no manager to speak with! Her response (at 4:30pm)... The manager has gone for the day, but you can call back at 8am tomorrow. How does calling a manager at 8am the next day help the problem for TONIGHT? Why is there no after-hours number to get assistance in a situation like this? We didn't need help at 2am. It was still during regular business hours. So, fellow traveler... if you want a guarantee of a reservation, do NOT choose Best Western! By the way... the hotel itself is nice, but I couldn't enjoy may stay because I was stressed out about the screw up!

The housekeeping ensure my room was immaculate on daily basis and everyone was just very friendly and also extremely helpful. The best customer service I have ever experienced! Well done BW Shelby Inn!

Lobby, room were great. Getting to the hotel off the road was another matter. I would highly suggest that there be better posting on the highway, leading the way to the hotel. I did not see any signage telling how to get to the hotel.

We had first put a best Western into our GPS that ended up being a property that had a smokey casino beside it and was independently owned and found that the next Best Western was another 75 miles north in Shelby. We decided to do the 75 mile trek and it was the best decision of our trip. The clerk at the front desk was extremely helpful, not only getting us a great room but advising us that we had enough reward points to cover it. She made out trip fantastic.

This is a beautiful mecca strategically located on the outskirts of Shelby and the intersection of Highway 2 and I-15 North. It is nicely furnished, quiet and comfortable. It makes for a great stopping point for trips to the north and west.

You know you're in for a pleasant experience when you get fresh baked cookies at check-in. But that's just the beginning when you visit the Best Western Shelby Inn & Suites in Shelby, Montana. As I've said before, my wife and I love Best Western. They seem to be everywhere and we've never had a bad experience. The Best Western Shelby Inn & Suites, located at 1948 West Roosevelt Highway at the intersection of I-15 and US Highway 2, is the newest hotel in Shelby. And it feels like it. How about a complimentary breakfast of hot eggs, danish, waffles, pastries fruit, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, cereals, biscuits and gravy, chilled juices, bacon, sausage and 100 percent Arabica coffee? We are always impressed with Best Western's efficiency, friendliness, cleanliness and comfort. We booked a suite, an oversized room with one king-sized bed, 40-inch TV, high speed internet access, microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, in-room safe, even a hot tub. Other amenities include an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, business center, guest laundry, ATM and expanded TV package. Longtime travelers, like us, can appreciate the value and importance and necessity of an iron and ironing board and a laundry facility. And a quiet environment and a good shower head. Best Western Shelby Inn & Suites has it all.

This hotel is rather out of the way, but it was so worth it. The room was quiet and quite clean. The receptionist that checked us in was amazing. I wished I would have gotten her name. My husband was very pleased with the breakfast.

The clerk was very friendly at check in, and offered me cookies. The room was clean and very well decorated. I especially liked the shower. Enjoyed the hot tub after driving all day. The bed was very comfortable.

We stayed here one night in August 2018 returning to the US from Canada. This Best Western was a very pleasant surprise. It is a very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. The service was excellent and the breakfast was very good. We have not stayed in any other hotels in Shelby, but my guess is that this should be your #1 choice.

Stayed here for one night. The room itself was very, very clean. Actually it was one of the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. And then I went into the bathroom. The toilet lid was half way off the toilet the inside of the toilet was dirty. I went downstairs and told the front desk person about the toilet and she said she could move me but the other two available rooms may not be acceptable. (?) She said there was no maintenance person there at the time. I asked her if she had any pliers or something that I could fix the toilet lid with and she said no. So I had to go back upstairs and tighten the nuts on the lid with my hands. She offered nothing for the problem. I could not understand why a housekeeper would do such a wonderful job of cleaning the room drop the ball so bad in the bathroom.

This hotel is a pleasant property and bed was very comfortable. We heard no noise from the hallway or other rooms, our room was very clean and tastefully decorated. The rooms size was great and had a desk with chair, an easy chair, a nice sized bathroom with bedside lamps, an alarm clock, a window that opened, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, tea and coffee, and adequate electrical outlets. There is a nice sitting area in the hallway on the second floor overlooking the lobby downstairs and a nice sitting area in the lobby. Though we did not use them there is an indoor pool and a workout room. Breakfast was the standard hotel complimentary breakfast, though by 7am they were already out of a few items. Because we were attending a memorial, they even gave us a bereavement rate. I believe this is the nicest hotel in Shelby and reasonably priced.

We stayed in a double queen room at $172 per night. The room was nice & very clean. It is a newer hotel. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great & well stocked. There was a pool & hot tub which we did not use. There is a Pizza Hut & Subway nearby but other local restaurants were not open. Not a lot to see here other than the railroads (you can actually get a room with a railway view lol). Very nice stay but I think rather pricey for a Best Western.

This hotel needs to be a training spot for all employees. The cleanliness along with the staff were great. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at any best western I had we e ever been to. The breakfast attendant was very atte five to the needs of the guests. The food was good and fresh. Our room was very spacious and d well stocked. I Give them a big thumbs . up. Great job !!!!

This hotel is about 1 hour driving from the East Glacial town. It is on the right side of US-2 when you are driving eastward. My family had a very good stay recently for one night after we visited the Glacial National Park from Calgary by driving via the following sight-seeing route: St Mary, Going to The Sun Rd, West Glacial town, East Glacial town, and Two Medicine Lakes. The hotel appeared very new, and the front desk is very nice with complimentary Cookies offered to you. The hot full breakfast was also very good. The only thing that I was not accustomed to is the design of the bathroom where the towel rack is far away from the bath tub, and good thing is that the hotel did have a small short stool in the bathroom - as a workaround to put your needed towels before you take a shower or a bath. There are many hotels in both West Glacial and East Glacial town etc, but very expensive and not including free breakfast etc. Therefore, this hotel was a very good choice for my family's recent visiting Glacial National Park in Montana.

We traveled with another couple & had a restful, pleasant stay here. Check-in was efficient & we were upgraded as we are platium members. Fresh cookies & suggestions for dinner were given by the friendly ladies at the desk. Although there were trains in back of the hotel, they did not blow whistles & came in & left quietly. Beds were comfortable & breakfast had usual hot items but some excellent bacon. The lady there was very attentive, even picking up our plates. It was a good choice.

We stayed here one night while traveling on a bus trip. Wonderful hotel! Fresh cookies awaited our arrival. Super friendly and very outgoing staff! Hotel seemed new. Very clean. Had a place where you could purchase snacks and quick frozen meals. Rooms were large. Beds were comfortable. Had a small but nice fitness room with a treadmill, exercise bike, elliptical and a weight machine. Had a nice looking indoor pool even though we didn't use it. Laundry facilities with 2 washers and 2 dryers. Breakfast was great! Lots of choices. Fresh fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, cereal, eggs, biscuits, gravy, potatoes, pastries, muffin, waffle maker and I'm sure I'm forgetting something. The lady over the breakfast area was very nice and came around the tables to make sure everything was okay and if we needed anything. Super sweet! Would highly recommend this hotel!!!!

Only downside was the poor signage for the actual motel entrance. The entrance is shared with a store with large parking lot. The large highway sign for Best Western is clearly visible, but not the actual "driveway". Small sign shows left arrow that from the street could lead one beyond the entrance and back toward the on ramp to highway.

This hotel exceeded our expectations considering the location. The rooms are spacious and clean . We even had a personal welcome message from the the house cleaner. The breakfast was good for hotel standard and the staff was friendly. Parking and checkin was easy.

A plain but very pleasant place to stay; a newer hotel with all the basics. There is not a restaurant included but they provide a very good self serve breakfast. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. The place must be pretty well built because there is a railroad and interstate highway near by but you are not aware of either when inside.

Customer service was awesome. Due to fog and lots of construction, we were three hours behind schedule, and we didn't check in until 3am. I called about 9pm and let the front desk know, and I also requested a ground floor since I knew we would be exhausted. Not only did they honor our request for a ground floor room, but when we checked in they offered us a late check-out. The room was so clean and larger than most double rooms. The breakfast was also a full buffet. We were only 35 mins from the Canadian border - a perfect place to stay and rest up before crossing at Coutts. Also, even though we didn't use, I did notice a number of RVs off to the west that were parked and hooked up. I think the hotel must offer this as a service. I booked this room two nights before arriving through Priceline and was able to receive a $50/per night discount. Nice.

This hotel is far and away the best in the area and we felt so at home on our one night stay to Shelby. The town itself is rather accommodating and the Best Western offered a really nice stay - nice people, good breakfast, and a great night of sleep. As another reviewer mentioned, we stayed on our way to Glacier and based on experience en route to other national parks as well as the other hotels we saw in the area, we did not have high expectations. I would absolutely recommend the BW-Shelby.

The whole staff from cleaning crew, security and lobby staff where awesome !!! :)) Must be Montana air: everyone here is nice and helpful. But the employee at this location go to infinity and beyond to help. Jennifer Gatewood and Ashley Kolve stood out. From drawing me a map as my roaming data got suspended so I could find my way to helping me solve rental car problems. I felt like my older sister were there to help. Thank you !!! The room was extremely clean, I slept well. I will be back for sure.

Stayed overnight on our way to Glacier Park. Wasn't expecting mush based on the location, but we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was neat, clean, modern. Room was well appointed and clean. Staff pleasant and efficient. Better than average breakfast choices. They even have a shuttle service to local restaurants...of which there aren't many options. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is new so I wouldn't expect to have a unkept non functional room. The breakfast was very nice. The only negative would be that the pool closes at 10pm and the gal working nights could be more pleasant. Condescending and rude. We stayed Fri the 6th of July.

Great stop on our way to Glacier. Large room that was quiet and clean. Very good breakfast. Reasonable price. Referred to the Alibi Longe for dinner which was very good, especially considering limited choices in town.

Got a great deal on Priceline and they let us check in early and leave late, perfect after many nights on the road camping. Place was very clean, breakfast was good/typical. There's also an RV park out back that they run too.

Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large and very clean. Parking and access was great as well. The hotel was so quiet we never heard a sound all night. We also appreciated the pet friendly policy. A pleasant surprise to find in small town!

I stayed here for an overnight business trip. The hotel is very well located, just west of I-15 and on US Hwy 2. It is very clean on the outside with ample parking. The front lobby is large and very modern. All the staff, front desk, housekeeping and breakfast, were extremely friendly and helpful. There is a small snack and amenities area right next to the front desk. The hotel common areas are very clean, and my room was immaculate. It was large and very well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and the room was dead quiet. Power outlets were abundant, and the internet was blazing fast. The included breakfast was significantly more comprehensive than normal, and the breakfast area was spotless. I could not be more impressed!! This will absolutely be my only choice for my next stay. I would highly recommend it without reservation!!

We stay at best Westerns often...some are managed better than others and occasionally we are disappointed, but not this time! Such friendly, helpful employees...clean and comfortable rooms, great breakfast...highly recommend!

I have waited to post this review so that I don't do it in anger. We have stayed here before and found it to be very nice. I liked what the girl at the truck stop said, "You should stay at the Comfort Inn, they are more fun. I have worked at Best Western and they are just concerned about looks". I want a hotel that is worried if the room is swept or the bed made correctly! Now on to the problem. I was upset when we got to our room one day and we had no hand towels or wash cloths. We had layed them in a pile on the tub when we were done with them and apparently they thought we were going to use dirty ones. THEN on the last night we were there after we went to bed the person on duty at the front desk came to our room at 9:30 at night, after we were already in bed. She knocked once then used a pass key to open our door. I had just gotten to the door and ask what she wanted and she said "oh we just needed to know if this room was being used." We had been there from Saturday night to Thursday night so I don't know why they didn't know that. We had the room reserved until Friday so that makes no sense. If you have read this far then my suggestion to you is to use your dead bolts and the little flip lock on your door!

I stayed for one night and found the staff pleasant to deal with. The room was clean and in good condition, infact the hotel was very clean, the breakast was good, and fresh. The motel is next to department store ans a short walk to town.

The hotel staff dealt with two large dogs with ease and there is a large grassy area to walk dogs in. The beds are extremely comfortable, the rooms are large. The breakfast was of a 'good' quality, not excellent but better than most hotels in this price range.

Stayed at this hotel in Shelby overnight on a business trip, and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is fairly new and in good repair, and the staff were friendly. The free breakfast was very good with lots of options including waffles and hot items.

We stayed here on our way to Havre. The hotel and staff were fine and we enjoyed our stay. The only thing I found there was nothing in the area besides the shop next door. It was a car trip if you wanted to go to main st. The wifi was strong and reliable. If you are looking forward to comfortable accommodation with good service. This fits the bill. We would stay here again with doubt.

Pleasant facility with generous room size, nicely furnished and comfortable. Lighting adequate, especially in bathroom. Staff pleasant. Location convenient, adjacent to I-15. No issues during stay. Would definitely return when in area.

Had a great stay. Room was large and comfortable. It had all of the amenities one could expect, (e.g. couch, stuffed chair, desk with adjustable chair, and upscale toiletries). The staff were friendly and welcoming. Of note was the breakfast offerings, perhaps not as varied as some but all items were well prepared. We will go back. Also know the property is convenient to the highway and there are a number of fairly good places to eat in Shelby, MT.

Our family enjoyed our one night here so much we wanted to stay longer. The pool is very welcoming (although chilly) and the rooms are clean and spacious. Very friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast to start your day. Would definitely recommend!

The Pool and Hot Tub are great. Clean and definitely not over used chemicals. Just the right temperature too! Normally they have complimentary water bottles for rewards members but unfortunately they had run out and by check out the following day they still did not have any water after repeated requests.

Excellent full breakfast included in the cost of the room and not just waffles and yogurt.....it was a full hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast, pastries, waffles, bisquits and gravy, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice and coffee/tea. Arrived late in the evening and within minutes were directed to our room. Hot breakfast in the morning made it convenient to get back on the road in a timely manner. Staff was pleasant. I had problems with the TV remote and when reported staff arrived promptly to exchange. King bed was comfortable and room clean. I did not use the pool. I would recommended the Best Western Shelby Inn to friends and family.

It is a really wonderful place to stay, road into the parking lot is a night mare but once in the place is beyond wonderful, clean, staff friendly and helpful and the rooms are beautiful. Continental breakfast is very good and room is clean.

This is one of the, if not the, best hotel to stay at in Shelby. Hotel staff are incredibly accommodating and could not be more polite. From what my wife tells me the all you can eat free breakfast was a fantastic spread and one of the best free hotel breakfasts she's ever had. Casey at the front desk was wonderful to deal with.

Have stayed here before and would highly recommend. Clean and inviting upon arrival. Lovely spacious and quiet rooms, nicely appointed with a sitting area, super comfy king bed and fluffy towels...just what we look for. Special make up towel in bathroom is a nice touch.

This was our first stay at this particular Best Western. We stay at Best Western all the time when we travel in the U.S. We stayed top floor back, away from the rail tracks and above the sound of feet. The rooms are very well laid out and appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom toiletries that the hotel provide are the best we have seen. The morning breakfast was delicious and has a large variety of items to choose from. Even the elevator was quiet and fast. Staff was attentive and very friendly. We will be back.

we enjoyed our stay at Shelby Best Western, staff friendly and helpful both on checking in and on our check out. Went for supper at Ringside ribs , did not enjoy the Pizza as the crust was burnt, therefore rather tough for us Seniors.

This was a great place. Any problem was quickly and graciously solved. Breakfast was wonderful, service was wonderful. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Had an issue with the TV, but I managed to work around it. I would highly recommend.

We were coming from Wyoming back to Canada and neede a quick overnight stop before continuing on our way. The hot tub soothed our weary bones; the gal at the front desk bent the rules and kept it open after 10 p.m. for us. A hot continental breakfast that opened at 6 was excellent. Only concern was the extreme ice in the entire parking lot making it difficult to keep our footing on our way to our vehicle. Sidewalks were clean which helped.

We were so pleasantly surprised at this lovely hotel in such a small town. Very updated with a lovely room. The staff was very friendly, The pool and hot tub were nice but could be warmer. The hot breakfast was delicious and of course we always love Best Westerns cookies. The fact that our stay was free because of best western points was a bonus although the rates were very good anyway!

My stay was good. Rooms were clean. Staff was polite and courteous. Internet needed to be on a secure network and even though it had a password it was not on a secure network. That was the only thing I think should have been improved.

Shelby, MT is a very small town with absolutely nothing to do. Best Weatern offered a clean, quiet, friendly place to stay with a great breakfast. Nice large rooms, with comfortable beds and a large bathroom.

The room was very clean. It is starting to show its age. The beds need replacing and also the dubai (spelling? covers . I thought the rate at 94.00 tax included was reasonable. The staff were very pleasant and the breakfast was very good; especially the real thick sliced bacon!

I have stayed in many hotels and very few compare - even among some "higher class" hotels. The staff are very friendly and most helpful. The hotel is very clean and the room we always have is modern and very spacious. Everything from the time you walk in the front door is convenient and spacious. With small features such as "elite" parking and a small commissary with frozen dinners and snacks (no machines here), I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and they should be the flagship for all Best Western Plus hotels (this hotel is not a Plus).

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a variety of food that was very good. The rooms are clean and modern. Easy parking, easy to see from the road. It has easy access to the interstate.

Have stayed there several times since they first opened and always had a great experience. Rooms are very comfortable and lots of pillows. The breakfast in the morning is excellent. One time we stayed the front desk person steered us onto a fabulous restaurant out of town a ways.

This hotels does all the things, I view as important at a high level: Positive and enthusiastic staff, quiet, complete breakfast in a pleasant environment, comfortable bed in a spacious room with quality soap/shampoo and towels, strong wifi and in a pleasing and all deigned building. I had a great visit to Shelby, MT. The Best Western provided shuttle service to and from the train station (THANKS!). I had a very comfortable bed. The hotel facilities were very clean - including the guest laundry room which was reasonably priced... along with the hot tub which was fabulous! Having hot water available in the kitchenette all day was an added bonus!

Great help from the time we got there to the time we left!! We struggled with long crazy hours and you went out of your way to help however you could. Both Roe and myself would come back anytime we can.

Nicely decorated hotel and very clean. Our room was super comfy and we enjoyed our breakfast so much we left a $5 tip. We take our 2 cats with us when we travel and this was no problem for the hotel. We will definitely be staying here again.

It's about hour and a half away from the park but worth the stay. We stayed here four nights in September. Hotel staff is friendly and going out of their way to make your stay a pleasant one. Front Desk/Customer Service is very good, helpful, informative, and professional. Hospitality at its finest. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, good quality toiletries. Hotel staff makes sure hot breakfast items are continuously replenished and tables are clean, ready for guests. We highly recommend this hotel.

Have always stayed in Great Falls on other cross border trips. After staying here we're wondering why we haven't before. This Best Western is very close to the border and is very luxurious considering the old small town it is in. Room was very quiet & nicely appointed. In the lobby was a handy map of all the restaurants in town & yum, a cookie snack for when we returned from supper. As always a hearty hot breakfast in the morning.

I have stayed at the Best Western Shelby Inn and Suites each week for several years and would highly recommend it to all travelers. I have had nothing but excellent service and a good experience each time I have stayed. They truly make it my home away from home each week.

Hotel was very nice, wish I could have spent a little more time there. If traveling this way I would stay there. As a pet owner, I recommend that you allow your pet owners to have room on the first floor or at the most a room on the second floor.

This is a GREAT Hotel, friendly staff and a great breakfast. The beds are comfortable and clean. If you are looking for a great place to stay...look no further. There are eating establishments close and they also have a hot tub if you need to rest your tired muscles.

We have stayed at this hotel before and always had wonderful service and nice comfortable stay! The hot tub was nice after a long day of travel and they are pet friendly. One of the things we first check out is the bathroom and it was clean and showers are nice and hot. Best in Shelby!

Out of the 7 hotels we stayed at over a period of a week...this hotel BW was the poorest. Rooms, Access to hotel, staff members were not accommodating. Room Location was good. Received a Flat tire from a nail .. possibly from their parking lot.

We always like to stay at the Best Western in Shelby whenever we are in the area. They are all very friendly and accommodating, especially Casey at the front desk. The hotel is kept in very nice condition and the breakfast is always very good.

I don't know the age of this place but it is immaculately kept up. Staff we met so far is friendly and just wonderful Only thing better would be a closer location to restaurants but no big deal. It is the first place (hotel) we came to when coming from the west.

When I first arrived, my first contact that came out of some back office, and seemed to be busy doing something else, was a bit snippy. The regular check in girl was busy fighting with the ATM machine. After we got the luggage in and needed to interact with front desk it was great, people very nice. Snippy girl gone. Gas station close, Shopko next door. Shopko for those who have not seen one is like a Walmart for small towns. Gas station had convenience store sold beer, Not much restaurant choice, so got a pizza. Good hot breakfast in morning , with attendant that actually cares. Great location for Road to Sun.

This is a great hotel to stay at. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Very clean, comfortable beds and nicely decorated. Breakfast was great with lots of hot and cold options....and, excellent coffee!!! Would stay here again for sure.

Oh what a wonderful surprise when we arrived at our final driving destination for the day. After 500 miles on the road we checked in at the Best Western in Shelby Mintana. Had the look and feel of a brand new hotel. It was beautiful, very clean and quiet. The hotel was full but you would never know it because it was so quiet. Our room was perfect. Very spacious, very clean and. Wet quiet. The over night stay was well worth the price we found on price line. As far as we're concerned this is the ONLY place to stay in Shelby Wyoming!

My husband and I stayed in room 328. It is a beautiful room and has a microwave, small fridge, tv, coffee maker etc. in it. It has 2 beds and many pillows. However, all the pillows on my bed were fluffy and big, I prefer a pillow that is flatter. Due to this I found it uncomfortable to sleep well and at one point slept with no pillow under my head. This is the only reason that I did not give it 5 stars. Seems like the price for the room is a little high too. Wifi worked well, free parking, free breakfast was great.

We spent a night here on our way to Glacier National Park and were very happy with our stay. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel, including the pool and pool area. The staff were friendly and the breakfast in the morning was well stocked. Would recommend staying here if you find yourself in Shelby.

I don't give glorious reviews of hotels often, but this location is certainly worthy of praise. All of the staff we encountered went out of their way to make our stay pleasurable. The breakfast staff was super accommodating. The property looked brand new and was very clean. I cannot recommend this location enough. We were on our way to Glacier National Park, and we would certainly encourage our friends to stay here. I was even impressed by the little mini "convenience store" they had in the lobby where you could purchase drinks or food items. Had we not eaten on the road before arriving, we may have needed it, as the area didn't seem to have a ton of restaurant options and the grocery next door was closed on Sunday evening.

Straight off the highway and within reach of Glacier National Park, the Best Western has a lot of FIFO workers, filling the carpark with their trucks and utility vehicels, filling their tummies in the Breakfast room with the excellent fare. The rooms were well appointed, with soft beds and pillows, wifi, cable TV and a good degree of comfort. The staff were unerringly professional and friendly, helping the casual traveller as well as the weekday residentials, nearly all men flying in for work. There was no restaurants open on Sunday night, save one in the Lucky Lil casino. Shelby is not a town to dally in, rather a way station.

Thoroughly enjoyed this place . The staff went out of their way to make our stay a good one . Bus load of people - nice reception , shuttles into town , great spread for breakfast , just more care and attention .They deserve to be congratulated , Thankyou !

Great place to stay DO NOT EAT in Shelby. There is a casino on every corner. Not a great location. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Did not use water slide. Staff recommended restaurants, check trip advisor first.

All the staff we interacted with were lovely and super friendly. One of the best thing about the room was the "fresh" remote! The beds were comfortable and the room was overall clean and comfortable. Definitely would stay again!

Travelling with Car club as couples, singles and with children. All needs met with smile. Great nights sleep and very good start next morning with breakfast. Easy check-in/check-out and room was spacious clean and quiet. Al amenities worked. Internet worked flawlessly. Climate controls were adjustable.

My family enjoyed the BW at Shelby both because the room was very clean and comfortable and because the service was outstanding. I think the person who best represented the BW in Shelby was the person managing the breakfast area. I saw her busily making sure food items were in place, cleaning tables and taking dishes from people who were finished and giving directions and suggestions to patrons on a variety of issues. She was clearly well-informed about the area and very helpful. But she was not the only person who was efficient and caring. Both check in and check out were excellent as well.

For a small area,we were amazed at such a good hotel. This is the newest hotel in the region. Room was well appointed with a very friendly staff.I would stay here again. Its perfect for an overnight stop as there is not much to do in Shelby itself. Its also next door to Shopko for those who like to shop.

Stayed here in July on my way to Glacier National Park and got a great rate. Room was very clean and spacious. Enjoyed the layout of the room. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Best part of stay was the breakfast which was excellent and had plenty of options plus the breakfast attendant was was attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Nice BW hotel with all new facilities, very clean room with brand new good sized bathroom. Spacious breakfast area, excellent location to get on/off highways easily. It's about one hour drive to Glacier National Park.

We were traveling to Glacier and stayed here before our trip. Hotel was clean, friendly staff, and good continental breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and clean. We went swimming in the indoor pool with our 10 month old--pool was cleans and warm. While we were swimming the maintenance guy was checking the chemicals in the pool and hot tub which was good to see they check that on a regular basis. All the workers that we came into contact with were very nice. It was affordable for booking a hotel anywhere near Glacier--we were very happy with our stay and will return in the future!

If this place was not so dam over priced I would have give it a better rating. The best standout was breakfast. The woman that takes care of it does an outstanding job. Where she has flexibility she shines as does her breakfast.

We stayed two nights, had two different rooms because a/c could not be fixed in the first room. The second room had toilet plumbing issues, but did get fixed. The breakfast buffet had good food for what was there.

This is a great hotel. Staff is welcoming and helpful, from check-in to the people who clean the rooms and stock breakfast. Clean, comfortable beds. Highly recommended. Finding the parking lot entrance is a little tricky to see at night -- turn in to the ShopKo and then into the hotel parking lot.

Nice newer looking hotel only a little drive from Glacier NP. We stayed here after driving through the park from Kalispell, worked out perfectly. Had dinner down street and was a nice short visit. Didn't encounter any issues when staying here

Stayed here after Glacier NP. Of the hotels we stayed in on our trip it is the one we wish we had stayed an extra night, to be able to relax a bit and use the facilities rather more than we had a chance to. It was clean, large rooms, quiet (despite being close to the intersection of the 2 main roads, and we are very sensitive to noise), had a nice pool and exercise room (unfortunately only able to use for a short time) and good breakfast. Obviously it is a BW not a luxury chain but definitely good value and a comfortable place to stay

I had no idea how remote this area was when I booked this hotel. We stayed here while on a road trip. Originally we thought maybe we could visit Glacier National Park from here but it was a 2 hour drive. We ate at the Pizza Hut, which was the only restaurant that wasn't part of a casino or gas station that we could find. The room was nice and spacious, we had the 2 queen suite. It was really nice to be able to sit on a couch instead of just the beds. Our only problem was that housekeeping didn't come to our room between our first and second night. We got back very late to unmade beds. Not the end of the world but something to note.

Lively with great staff. Newer hotel great lobby. Rooms are clean and large. Breakfast was larger with lots of choices. Breakfast room was bigger to accommodate everyone. I loved the fact that they have black washcloths to use when removing makeup.

We stayed at the Best Western Shelby Inn & Suites for one night in July. This was a stopover on our way to Glacier Park. Clean rooms, pleasant staff are what stand out the most. We were in a hurry in the morning so we did not take advantage of the breakfast. We have stayed here previous, and I am confident we will most likely stay here again in the future!!

Nice new construction and friendly staff made our stay pleasant. Our room was slightly larger than the average. Comfy beds with great pillows, soft towels. good lamps, refrig, microwave, and coffee maker made for a good rest. It has a pool and a good breakfast. It is connected to a casino.

We stopped at Best Western for one night during our road trip across Western Montana and Wyoming. We were able to get much needed rest in our clean and quiet room. The room size was perfect for my husband and me. The bed was comfortable and clean. Front desk staff was friendly.

Excellent location outside Glacier National Park. Very well trained staff. Hospitality at it's best. Breakfast hostess Ellen, provided additional items in the breakfast bar that met our families needs (cottage cheese, hard boiled eggs) as well as welcoming us to her domain. We felt cared for and respected by the whole staff.

The Shelby In was very comfortable but hard to deal with the management and quite hard to find. We had to go next door to Shopko to get directions to the restaurant advertised in the book in the room and instead of being an easy two block walk it was a little over a mile one way and was advertised as two blocks.

Very nice and clean. Staff very helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Location at Rt. and I-17 or 15 near railroad tracks but didn't hear anything. The view of the great prairie was interesting. Only slight drawback is that there are not many restaurants in the small town.

My stay was very nice. I had a business meeting nearby and made the reservation several weeks prior. Upon arriving, the staff was friendly and helpful. I requested some ideas for dinner and was referred to a local dining establishment. It was just as good as they had recommended.

I HATE staying in hotels! So many are so expensive with decreasing quality all around! So I avoid them as much as possible! But our schedule for visiting Glacier caused us to use a hotel instead of trying to find a campsite for the night. From when we pulled up to when we left was perfect! Absolutely clean and nothing falling apart. Staff was friendly with smiles and hellos from desk help, janitor, breakfast staff, to the guy checking us out in the morning! I can't recommend this hotel enough! The staff running it are what all hotels should strive to be!

My wife and I were passing through Shelby on our way back to Canada. We stayed at the Best Western. The grounds and lobby were excellent and very well maintained. We were checked in very quickly by a very good staff member. The rooms were gorgeous and very big for the price range. We paid 160 with our pet fee. Very reasonable considering. The rooms were well maintained and all the memories you could want were in the room. I would recommend people come here and I would come back.

We highly recommend this hotel. We experienced a problem with our motorcycle and the staff went out of their way to help us. Also, the facility was top notch. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast was excellent, offering gluten-free and dairy-free options.

Best Western Shelby Inn & Suites is a well keep, clean, new hotel. The front desk representative was pleasant, gave directions to a local restaurant, and answered questions about driving in Montana. Enjoyed the room and comfortable bed.

After a day at the park we stopped here for the night . It is a little over hour for the two medicine entrance . Straight on Rt 2 and right before interstate 15 . The hotel was built in 2013 and very well maintained . The rooms were clean and quite hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was average .. The normal bestwestern stuff:cereal , instant oatmeal , fresh fruit, yogurt , some donuts , eggs etc... The coffee was weak... That seem to be the normal for best western . The lady in the breakfast area comes around and ask you how everything is and seems to be concerned . If you are on 1-15 heading to Canada or coming from there this would be a good place to stay.

The Best Western hotel in Shelby, MT is a very clean and quiet hotel with modern conveniences and very close to many restaurants. The people are very nice and hospitable. Access to I-15 is also very good. I would recommend this hotel.

My family and I stayed at the Best Western in Shelby, MT on our way up to Canmore, Canada. By far, this is one of the best hotels we stayed in on our trip. Hotel rooms were spacious and beds were comfy. Staff was very polite and helpful! Breakfast was exceptional as it was far above what I was expecting; it was more of a breakfast buffet with many items to choose from. Fitness room and pool were both very nice as well. Without a doubt, I would stay here again!

Clean, friendly, quiet and real food for breakfast! This is one of the few hotels that I've stayed at where you can eat your breakfast and enjoy it. The food was fresh and tasty. They didn't serve that nasty waffle or strange squares of white bread that you see in so many hotels. The coffee was good, great breakfast potatoes and fresh fruit were a great way to start the day. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The night clerk gave us a wonderful restaurant suggestion. When we checked out in the morning the staff whipped out maps and gave us directions for the best route into Glacier Park. Thanks to her we had a wonderful day.

Best Place in Shelby, Mt to stay. Right at the Crossroads of I-15 and Highway to 2, the entrance to either highway is accessible. A box store next door is open for convenience to grab whatever you left at home. The Breakfast hours are from 6-10 A.M., its great if you are up early and on the run.

We stopped for an overnight and were worried because 3 buses of teenagers pulled in just as we were taking the luggage out of the car. It turned out there was a state golf tournament beginning the next morning, and we thought we were in for a rough night. We could not have been more incorrect in our assumption - we didn't hear a thing from anyone! The room was quiet, the shower had good flow, the temperature variable to our liking, and best of all, the bar soap smelled like lemon mousse! Good breakfast, friendly employees, and a place we'll look forward to stopping at again in the future.

Stayed overnight on trip to pick up an item we had shipped to Sweetgrass. Very friendly staff, clean, quiet room and awesome breakfast. Next door is a Shopco where you can do a bit of shopping for a wide variety of items from household to clothing to toys and some grocery items.

Your hotel does not have a primary entrance off of highway 2. You must use Shopko`s which one could lose a vehicle in the potholes.The staff were friendly and answered all my questions. I forgot razors which they provided me free of charge. The hot breakfast was nice and person asked all customers how the food was.

This is by far the nicest hotel in Shelby. The staff are all very nice and helpful, the hotel is modern and clean, and the hot breakfast is very good! There is a pool and fitness room as well. There is no restaurant on site, but the small store in the hotel has pizza, ice cream and other snacks / drinks.

Best Western in Shelby Montana was another great stay at a BW! From check in after a long day of driving and being basically brain dead and being greeted by a young lady that takes her career seriously..obviously..by the way we were treated to the location and cleaniness of the whole building and to waking up and getting good mornings from all staff members is really what its all about.If you have ever had a bad experience from a staff member at a BW its probably because their cup has finally floweth over for the day or they just being human...weve all been there I'm sure ...but anyways it was a great stay from check in to check out!

This hotel has lots of parking,,the beds are very comfortable, The hotel is close to I15, The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. No problems with the TV, internet or amenities. Hotel is also pet friendly and provided a hot breakfast.

The hotel is conveniently located directly off of the interstate and close to the border for an early morning crossing. The rooms are well appointed, clean and quite with comfortable beds. Even thought the hotel is close to the busy rail yard rooms are quite and we had room facing the rail yard. The complementary breakfast is the usual adequate hotel complementary breakfast. Free WI-FI is good. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful and they have a list of recommended restaurants available in Shelby. Word of caution, when booking hotel make sure you book directly with the hotel and not a third party internet booking agent, you will get a significantly better rate directly from the hotel.

Literally the best Best Western I've stayed at. Trust me, being a Select member of Best Western, I've stayed at a lot. There was not one complaint!! Loved this place!! I would stay here again and would recommend that if you're in the area, you stay here as well!!

Everything was good! Found it pricey for a hotel in a small place of Shelby, Montana and especially when seeing what price was when a person did not use credit card points. If it was the cost stated then everything was excellent. Great service, amenities and breakfast but pricey when using points!

Extremely satisfied with this lodging. Have stayed mainly at Best Westerns as choice of traveling hotels. One of the best all around. Will definitely stay there again. Have already recommended to other friends.

The hotel experience I had while staying here was nothing short of amazing. From the walk into the lobby through the exiting the next day. Incredible experience. I hope to stay here again soon. I love the new Best Western experience.

On our way home from Arizona towing a 5th wheel we stopped in shelby after 9 hours on the road. Small town with few amenities. The hotel entrance is difficult to find as it goes through the parking lot of the Shopko store. Signage is poor. Rv parking behind the hotel is a bonus, but we chose the comforts of a king bed in one of their rooms. Great place for stopover after a long day on the road.

After 2 days on the road,this was an ideal place to stop. Only 30 minutes from the Canadian border. The ability to microwave snacks in room is great idea if too tired to seek out a place to eat. ability to microwave snacks

On our way myself and my wife spent here (Best Western Shelby) one night. I am member of Best Western. I booked this hotel by using available points. Our experience was very good while staying in this hotel. Check in was fast. Condition of room and cleanliness was nice. HDTV, Microwave, Refrigerator etc. everything were in good working condition. Speed of wireless internet was also nice. Next day we availed breakfast which is same as all other Best Western and it is good. After that we checked out from this hotel and it took only one minute. We are very much satisfied with this hotel and may stay here again, if we plan to stay any night at Shelby, Mt.

Nice motel close to a major intersection and close to Canada and Glacier National Park. Some of the younger staff could be a little more customer oriented. Manager was extra nice. Best to get rooms on back side of this property away from railway tracks.

The two nights in the Best Western here in Shelby was excellent. Staff very friendly, courteous. The room was spacious and beds were very comfy. Breakfast in the morning was very good and the staff who worked the breakfast line were outstanding and always greeted you upon entry into the serving area which I thought was great. The only problem with the room was a pile of dirty towels under the counter in the bathroom. The front desk was notified of this and the manager Rachel Reed and I believe, the assistant manager Ashley Kolve overheard the conversation and took corrective action right away which I wasn't out to burn anyone, it was probably an oversight, but the manger and assistant left a bag of goodies in the room which was very nice of them. I've stayed here before, but after what these two managers have done for me, well they will have my business again. They really care about their customers here.

Excellent staffing, good housekeeping, reasonable pricing just over $100.00 tax included and a great breakfast. I have nothing but kudo's for this Best Western and highly recommend staying at this facility.

Very Clean, Friendly Staff. Large rooms for all our stuff, Easy to check in and check out, Good Breakfast. We did not use the pool or gym but it was available during good hours if we chose. Will definately stay there next year if we go back to Shelby, Montana.

Stayed here before and did not even look elsewhere for a return trip. Clean, comfortable rooms, good beds, laundry, parking spacious, breakfast good, staff friendly. Just as we remembered. If in this area highly recommend.

Hotel is very clean, and the room (2 queen) was more than sufficient for our needs. The products provided in the bathroom were excellent, the bath towels were fabulous and the breakfast provided enough selection that everyone could find something they enjoyed eating. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for the rate. Would stay here again.

After a long days driving in Glacier National Park this is just what we needed. Friendly, efficient staff, large comfortable rooms, everything clean, plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries. Fridge, microwave & coffee machine are useful with no on site restaurant. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We had a good nights sleep and never heard traffic, trains or people

New and fresh, great Best Western, one of the best i have stayed in! The pet charge was very reasonable at 15$ but at other Best Westerns they only charge a flat one-time fee for one or two dogs, here it was per dog. The breakfast was a typical free breakfast with fake eggs, I wish they would just scramble real eggs and have some bacon and good cut up fruit. The hotel staff were very friendly!

I spent a night here after my grandmother passed away in Shelby. I had a second floor room that overlooked the front doors, which added a little bit of noise to my stay. It didn't really end up impacting my ability to get a good night's sleep, so I'm not going to consider it a detractor. The room was really spacious and had two queen sized beds. Everything was really clean, the bed was delightfully comfortable, and breakfast the next morning was delicious. I made myself a waffle, had a few pieces of bacon, and enjoyed a few good cups of coffee. They have the best breakfast spread that I think I've ever seen at a limited service hotel. I didn't have a chance to use the workout facility or the pool, but they both looked really nice. I had a small billing error after I left, but the GM returned my call right away and got it straightened out. Everyone that works there was so helpful, and I can tell that she sets a great tone for them. I really like the Best Western in Shelby and I'll definitely return when I'm in the area.

We stayed here on the 30th September after a long drive through Glacier national Park. It was the nearest hotel we felt suited our standards and we certainly werent disappointed. Whilst it wasnt an overly busy hotel it certainly was upto standards. We had a room at the back of the hotel and whilst you could hear some train/traffic noise it certainly wasnt off-putting and definitely didnt hear anything at night time. We booked a 'cosy king' but in terms of size it definitely wasnt cosy, it was huge.. maybe we upgraded for free?! Room was clean and tidy and shower was powerful. Breakfast was fantastic, certainly enjoyed the breakfast pie and filled us up for the day for a long drive back to Wyoming! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

This motel is wonderful, super clean, quiet, and the staff is exceptional. The full service breakfast is truly full service, great offers with lots of space and food. With a bit of a drive, 75 miles or so to Glacier, it would be a great stopping place for a great alternative to much higher priced lodging on the edge or in Glacier. Shelby offers dining possibilities and is a year round service area - unlike most visitor services in and around Glacier, most shut down the first of October.

Stay in a lot of places with my dogs. This has the best setup you could want. Great field to walk and exercise. Can get a room right by the side door. And can't beat the breakfast!! Wish all the BW would catch on and be pet friendly!!

The Best Western in Shelby, Montana was a great place to stay on our way home! It is a little tricky to get in to, but worth the effort. The complimentary breakfast was excellent as were the staff. It also has a campground that we have stayed in in the past, great too!

Having researched hotels in Shelby via Trip Advisor, this seemed like the best choice. The positives: newer hotel, efficient check in, comfortable beds, good shower, everything seemed to be clean, nice breakfast choices at complimentary breakfast buffet. Negatives: rooms are rather dark, there was obviously a desk missing in our room as one large corner was completely empty save a floor lamp. We stayed on the ground floor, it sounded like we had a roomful of kids above us running foot races, luckily it stopped later in the evening but resumed in the morning. I just feel for the price we paid everything should be top notch.

No reservation, but, we were accommodated nicely. The staff made the experience pleasant. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Exterior and reception area were cold and basic. No outside appeal..needs landscaping and color.

I had an excellent and the staff was great. Will be back to stay at this hotel again because of the quality of the hotel and staff. I would recommend this hotel to anybody traveling across the Hi-line of Montana

The evening of Sept. 12th my wife and I rolled into Shelby,MT by motorcoach with a tour group of about 45 with America by Rail. We were told that we would be on our own for dinner this evening but on our way though town noticed that the eating establishments were very limited at the time. As we pulled Into our stop for the evening at the Best Western, we were all very surprised to learn that the staff had prepared a fabulous meal of our choice of lasagna, meatballs & gravy along with a tossed salad, cookies, and a choice of 3 different wines which was all included at no additional cost to us. I can't overstate the appreciation that our group felt and our gratitude to the general manager,Rachel Reed, and her staff of really fine people that the Best Western organization should be extremely proud of. Happy with our stay here! Upon check in at the front desk a nice assortment of fresh baked goods were offered to choose from..banana bread,cookies etc. The room was very clean, bed comfortable. The railroad tracks were right across the road from the hotel, but didn't notice any noise from the trains. No restaurant on the premises, a Shopko right next door, good for restocking the cooler with snacks/drinks. Breakfast had a nice variety to choose from.

We were so glad we chose to stay here. It was our stop on the way to Glacier Park. Had best breakfast of our whole trip. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable in our spacious room. Was a newer hotel and everything was spotless. If in this area again, will definitely stay here.

Great place to stay! The staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating. They even put the flowers up in our room that my BF had brought before we actually checked in so he could surprise me. The room was phenomenally quiet, which was great for our romantic get-away. The room (King Suite) was completely clean and nicely decorated. The pool and hot tub were great in terms of both temperature and cleanliness.

We stayed here on Sept 13th. Seems to be a newer hotel (since last time thru Shelby) We had a room on the 3rd floor, elevators were not slow. The hotel is right across from the railway tracks, and the highway on the other side. We did not hear either. Noise wise, our room was quite quiet. It was a nice, clean room, and we were very happy with our stay. Once again, the breakfast was very good. The breakfast area was kept neat, hot breakfast, and fresh fruit which was good. Very satisfied with our stay, and would stay again when passing thru.

Newer, under 5 years old hotel with awesome beds and beautiful view, very quiet hotel with wonderful pool and hot tub. Breakfast attendant was incredible as well! the food selection was very good. Management was very friendly along with breakfast attendant. little glitch with front desk lady in which management was notified. overall experience was excellent

Fairly new hotel with all the amenities, except an onsite restaurant. Rooms and hotel in general were very clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was one of the best BW has offered with excellent staff assisting.

This is a newer hotel in the middle of nowhere. The service and breakfast were good and the staff very friendly and helpful. I forgot my jacket and called from Canada to have them hold it for me to pick up on my return. It was ready at the front desk when I returned a few days later, all packaged in case they needed to mail it. I was impressed.

Room excellent, very clean, and the price is reasonable. They had a great Breakfast bar and the staff. Better then most of the upscale hotels. I would highly recommend that all government and military personnel stay in this hotel while visiting the area they have special rates. Only issue is that they again just had their secure Wi-Fi repaired. While I was there I couldn't use the Wi-Fi it was not secure.

Check in was fast and the staff was very friendly. The room was nicely appointed. My wife was disappointed to find hair on the ledge of the tub or I would have scored a five. The attendant at breakfast was very friendly.

We chose this hotel & location after spending the day visiting Glacier National Park from west to east. While there's nothing much to do or see in the town itself, the town's location was the key. The hotel had all of the amenities that one would expect of a BW with clean rooms & friendly staff.

I did not stay here, but I needed to print off some documents to cross the border into Canada and I stopped here for help. The front desk clerk was great. She asked me to email them to her and she would print them for me. She didn't even ask for any payment (of course) I tipped her. I have stayed at hotels that would not let you use their printer, so this was exceptional customer service and I would recommend staying here for that reason alone.

Room was clean and very spacious. The beds were comfortable, although the pillows were a little lumpy. The breakfast offered in the morning was a good selection and very tasty. There was a good selection of channels with their cable. It was nice to have free WiFi , but with an older phone it won't accept it as safe.

Great hotel, polite and friendly staff. Comfortable beds, quite rooms with a great breakfast! The location is good just off the major highway and no noise in the hotel with the train tracks across the road. Highly recommend this hotel.

*While heading to glacier national park, we stayed here for 1 night. Its located about 90 miles from the park. It's easy access to the highway. * This was a nice place, with friendly staff. It's a modern design, which was very inviting. * Our room was spacious, very clean and it had refrigerator and microwave. We loved the simple, modern decor. We slept very good on the comfortable bed too. * The restroom had a walk- in shower With great lighting for shaving and doing makeup. --The only drawback was when we turned on the heat or air it created a fuel like smell, hated this. Since its located next to an RV park, it seemed like the air intake was taking in exhaust fumes from rv's.

Our room was extremely comfortable and had all the necessary facilities. The hotel provided a free shuttle service from 4pm until 10pm into Shelby so that we could go for dinner without worrying about driving or parking. We had a pleasant breakfast (possibly the best in this type of hotel during our trip). The chef / breakfast duty member of staff came round regularly to check that all of the food was up to scratch and to clear plates etc. There were hot and cold choices available.

During the summer high season, I managed to secure a screaming deal at this place using Priceline. The Best Western Shelby Inn and Suites deserves all of the accolades it garners here on TripAdvisor. Staff and accommodations are great, neither of which should be taken for granted when one is this far off the beaten path. Recommended.

The Best Western in Shelby, Montana is a great hotel and we always enjoy our visit. The staff is very pleasant and accommodates our every need. We stay there several nights every month as our son lives in Shelby and it has become a "second home" for us.

A nice surprise after a few days in Glacier! The breakfast offer was wonderful and the cook told my wife everything was made from scratch. An easy walk to restaurants, shops, bars, etc. in Shelby. There is a Shopko right next door which we found convenient. I highly recommend!

We were travelling from Canada through East Glacier Park and this place was a fabulous place to lay our weary heads. The room was spotless, bed comfy and the breakfast in the morning was included in the price of the room. It is very well executed and kudos to the woman who coordinated it and kept it so clean and appealing. It had many food choices including delicious freshly baked cinnamon buns, which I indulged in. Signed up for a Best Western rewards card and got an immediate 10% off.

1. Well situated next to IH-15 for travel to Alberta 2. Quiet. No noise in room from other guests or trains across the street. 3. Very good fitness room: recumbent bike, elliptical, treadmill, and weights. Equipment works and room is cool and well ventilated. 4. Breakfast food is good. 5. Internet is available via ethernet connection and wifi.

Wonderful clean hotel with all the amenities! Passing through Montana on the way home to Edmonton and luckily chose to stay at the Best Western in Shelby. A great experience for us to have found this super clean hotel with a fantastic breakfast included! Very helpful staff in a super friendly town!!! Will be back for sure!

This hotel is a great place to stay before or after a visit to Glacier National Park. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, giving recommendations as to what not to miss in the park. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The breakfast staff were very friendly as well. The 2 queen bed room we stayed in was clean, spacious, and well maintained. There is also plenty of parking at the hotel.

Excellent accommodations. Rooms and bathroom was clean, room smelled clean without other oders (smoke free). In room coffee was perfect for starting the morning while preparing for the business day. Great breakfast bar with many choices of hot or cold items.

Whether you start your trip west through Glacier, or are needing a place to rest after travelling east through the mountains, this Best Western property is a very comfortable place to spend the night.. The staff, from check in to check out are very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and everything you need, from wi-fi to the morning paper, are available. This would also be a good place to stay while on business in the area.

We stayed at the Best Western, Shelby, for one night on our trip home from Glacier NP. The hotel is relatively new, very clean and the beds were among the most comfortable we've experienced at a hotel, and we do travel a lot. Breakfast included hot items which was appreciated. Overall, very good experience.

We spent the day at Glacier and needed to head east. This new hotel is nice: great beds, a very nice breakfast, awesome shower and amenities. It was a little pricey, but we hadn't planned ahead. The only negative was that our room was near the elevator, and it was a bit louder than one would like. Otherwise, it was a terrific place.

Rented this room for my daughter and a friend who travelled from Florida to visit. They were very impressed with how nice the hotel is, especially in such a small, rural town. The girls commented that the room probably had the most comfortable beds they had ever slept in! They also mentioned how beautiful the building is.

Staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. The train horns at night are very close and would recommend ear plugs if they bother you. It was difficult to find a restaurant in which to have dinner ( it was a Sunday night) but the Pizza Hut pizza was excellent!

Great place to stay. Nice and quiet and great staff. You sort of have to look the entrance as it goes Shopko parking lot. Has good car parking around the hotel. Bed were very comfortable and rooms were quiet even though we were on the first floor.

Decided to stay here as I was traveling through the area. Convenient to I-15. Hotel looks new. A good number of people staying the night on Saturday with Glacier about 1 1/2 hours away and the fair in town. Grocery is right next door. Room was very comfortable and shower was very good. Got a good night's sleep. Breakfast was very good as well. Only problem was the spotty Wifi. It kept kicking off and running so slowly. That can be frustrating. Other than that, a nice stay here

We stayed here one night and it cost me more than the hotel stay. Go somewhere else because management does not care if your items are stolen. I had a promise ring given to me before we were married. I put it on the dresser and the next day we had left and were 3 hours away and the room hadn't been cleaned yet. They checked and apparently couldn't find it. I was told that's to bad and to call back. 2 weeks went by and I called and they said no ring sorry and we fired that maid as well. Safe to say anyone that cleans your room and steals stuff can do so at free will is what the manager said, they aren't held accountable. There is nothing they can do about it but ask" that employee. So needless to say I'm going on another trip and I will find somewhere else to go.

Used this Best Western for my two day visit to Glacier National Park, only about an hours drive and much cheaper then staying closer to the park. Staff was friendly and the rooms were nice size, clean and comfortable. The best feature of this Best Western was the breakfast, the thick sliced bacon was to die for and the cinnamon rolls, made daily by the staff, were by far the best I have ever had at any hotel breakfast. This is a small town and not a lot of choices for eating establishment, did eat at the Mexican restaurant next door, it was OK

This hotel was clean and comfortable. There were snacks/beverages available for purchase at the front desk. The showerhead in this handicap-accessible room was tall, and it had a second, lower hand-held showerhead. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. There was an excellent breakfast buffet available, including eggs, bacon, potatoes, potato casserole, biscuits/gravy, a waffle maker, cold cereal, bread/muffins/danishes, sliced fruit, yogurt and beverages. There is a Pizza Hut and Subway nearby as well as local restaurants but no other typical fast food places. My one big complaint was the paper-thin walls!!! We could have almost joined in on the conversation of the boisterous people in the next room. Had to use ear plugs to get to sleep.

On our annual cross country motorcycle ride. We checked into this hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful. The room was perfect! The breakfast was well prepared. The lady in the breakfast area works extra hard at making sure everyone is pleased. Also at 3am the guy in the next room decided to let his alarm ring at for 45 minutes. Please note this isn't the hotels fault. But I contacted the front desk and the staff member worked at waking the guest to get the alarm shut off. He did finally succeed. Thank you to the staff member for resolving the problem. All in all a great hotel. We would stay here again. Travel safe...

The hotel looks pretty new and modern. It is very clean. Ample free parking. Breakfast was adequate, not good but adequate. One negative: our room was located near the train tracks and we heard loud noises when the trains were being loaded/unloaded at night. Noise stopped around 12am.

I've stayed here many time, the service is great and the rooms are very clean. I don't have any complaints, if you need to stay in Shelby or near Shelby this is the best your going to find. You can easily tell the building is almost brand new and has a good breakfast with a very friendly staff in.

The hotel was in very well staffed and in great condition-there were many families staying with small children so it is very family friendly..and to that end we; being older didn't hear a lot of noise from all those little bodies running around. The check outs were a breeze and breakfast had a good selection-pleasantly served by some one who obviously takes pride in her job. Thank you for the comfortable accommodations while away from home.

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, quiet air conditioner and easy to operate by the thermostat to maintain the comfortable temperature we needed. Wi-Fi was easy to access and best continental breakfast ever. They had homemade cinnamon rolls, not store bought. We had a good meal nearby at Ringside Ribs. It was the first night that we slept the night through. Highly recommend.

Wonder Clean Hotel. The service is 4 Star. This is the cleanest Best Western I have stayed in. It deserves to be a Best Western Plus. It was a good place to stay before we drove North into Canada. On our return trip, we will stay here again. Their breakfast eggs and cinnamon rolls tasted better than any other hotel with a free breakfast buffet. I want to thank the entire staff!

Shelby is on the BNSF high line which means it is a railroad town. I grew up in Forsyth, Montana, another railroad town so I am used to hearing the trains go by at night and was fully expecting to hear the trains while we slept. However, the hotel is newer and evidently sound proofed as we did not hear anything other than a couple of guests going into their rooms during the early evening. This hotel definitely exceeded our expectations in every way. When making the reservations for this hotel I had found a cheaper price on another website and when I called the hotel directly to make the reservation they were more than happy to price match, including going online themselves to find that price and print it out to put in the file so I didn't need to remember to bring along any paperwork. The carpets were so clean in the room that I felt very comfortable getting down on the floor and playing with our little dog, a 15 pound Havenese. There were other pets in the hotel that evening as this is a very pet friendly hotel, including great staff that made us feel welcome as we were checking in. We've stayed at hundreds of hotels and this by far equaled any US hotel experience we've had other than some of the higher end hotels in San Francisco and that would just be because of the location and added luxury that would not be expected for this price range.

We stayed here en route from Yellowstone to Glacier - easy to find, very comfortable and friendly staff. The usual BW breakfast. The front desk was very helpful in recommending places to eat (be aware, there's nowhere in walking distance). A good night's sleep - my preference is for the front, overlooking the railway - the rear is used as a truck area.

This is a top notch hotel for Shelby. It is right on the interstate and easy to get to. The decor was great and the bed made for amazing sleep. I have stayed at other hotels in Shelby in the past and this hotel is by far nicer then any of the others.

A cut above the normal road layover experience. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms. Excellent Wi-Fi, fantastic free breakfast spread. Though the town is not scenic, this is a fantastic place to stay when staging to cross into Canada.

we just stayed here again on our road trip from the USA to Alberta-Canada. We have been staying at the Shelby Best Western several times before and like the new hotel, clean, big rooms, nice pool area, friendly staff, and yummy breakfast. Instead of staying at a hotel in a bigger city as Great Falls or Lethbridge, we find this hotel so easy to get to, very quiet location even if just of the interstate, lots of room for parking, seems never packed, even when busy. No casino or bar that would make for unwanted night parking area activity. Some dates are not very cheep, but collecting Best Western points helps and it is a very new hotel.

It's close to the freeway and ideal to stay before or after your visit to Glacier National Park. The immediate environment is a bit dead , but you're a short drive away from restaurants and shops; Staff is very friendly and welcoming, everything looked clean to us, a quiet place with all basic amenities and free parking. I can recommend this.

I can not fault this hotel at all. It has many small touches most often missing from properties of a similar cost. The staff were unfailing professional and friendly. The room was excellent and overall great value for money. I stayed because of its rating on Trip Advisor - that rating is deserved. Despite the railway line being several hundred metres away there was no noise. It is a little difficult to find the entrance so it is worth checking this on google maps or with the hotel itself.

Always clean and friendly, this new facility offers unexpected ammenities for any motel anywhere. Breakfast is second-to-none with a varied selection of all-you-can-eat fresh fruit to biscuits and gravy. We will stay again.

Very nice staff at check in. They upgraded us to a suite because of our Best Western status. This is the first time in my life that this has ever happened. What a treat! The complimentary breakfast was good. The staff in the breakfast room were very friendly.

The hotel is new and is a nice building with a friendly staff. However; for me the most important thing in a hotel is a comfortable quiet room. Unfortunately the only louder place I have stayed than this was in Hawaii with crowing roosters waking me up. The location is convenient right off the freeway ramp, but that comes at a heavy cost. Once the commercial deasil trucks start humming before sunrise the combination of accelerating deasil trucks, loud AC units, and Mini fridges will ensure that every second of your morning will be filled with a sound that beckons you to get out of bed and start your day. Good thing breakfast is hot and ready early! The hotel staff offered me 2,500 reward points for my troubles and they were very kind. I appreciated the gesture but my sleep is much more valuable than that.

I called 30 mins ahead and was given the choice of two queens or a king with a pull out couch. I picked the queen room, because I had my roommate, her boyfriend, and my dog come in. low and behold they was out of what I reserved. She offered me the king with the pull out couch. It wouldn't have been a big deal if she actually talked to me and apologized. I felt like it was all my fault. I couldn't figure out why she was being rude and not even answering my questions. She gave me no information whatsoever ever. The room is nice, but the receptionist has made me in a really stressed out mood. Customer service is a really big deal to me. If only she treated the situation different.

The service here stands out above the competition. They have cookies at checkin. The rooms are clean and in great shape. The only downside is they did not recognize my diamond elite status, so therefore they did not offer me any of the benefits customarily offered with such status, nor did they give me an upgrade based on status. This property does have an RV park on site. I did not utilize the breakfast facilities.

The front desk really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Patrick signed us up for the frequent guest program and hand delivered our card (and discount) to our room. The lady from Switzerland was helpful with suggestions for places to eat. The room was very nice and spacious. Breakfast was better than expected. I haven't always had a good experience at Best Western hotels - but I did at this one!

I might be going out on a limb giving this hotel 4 stars.I have veered away from B.W. over recent years due to their terrible fluctuation in standards and their poor customer service.But needs be and I found myself here. I did not get off to a good start.The hotel is accessed via a disgraceful potholed gravel road.Having overcome this the check in was pretty poor.I found myself having to repeat were everything twice,and I gave up asking questions. However the room was large,clean and well equipped. There was even seating for more than one.The shower was good. We looked in on the free breakfast,only to stay and gorge ourselves on cinnamon buns and blueberry muffins-both being among the best we have ever had. So,4stars may be a bit over the top,but 3 stars would not be fair

After having problems with another local hotel, best western and their staff took my family in and saved or vacation. My wife was ready to pack up and leave but Patrick from Sudan had us come on over and got our family right in. Patrick was very helpful and friendly. The next morning we met Ursula from Sweden who told us about local areas to visit and our nightmare stop turned into an unforgettable visit. Thank you to Patrick, Ursula, and the best western family in Shelby Mt.

Stayed for one night. Great Service, nice pool and hot tub, quiet even though the train tracks are across the road. Great Customer Service, openly recommended places to enjoy a nice dinner. Town has two nice quilt shops, great little Shopko within walking distance. Easy access on and off the highway. Albertsons grocery a short distance away to stock the kitchenette.

From the moment we entered the lobby we were made to feel welcome. The receptionist (Ursula) was terrific, very friendly and accommodating!! The breakfast was also stand out! Couldn't have asked for more.

The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and the decor was appropriate. The laundry room was clean and was very reasonable. My only recommendation is that the front desk should have sample menus from the area restaurants.

It is quite nicely furnished and decorated. Check in was pleasant and easy. Nice rooms. Quiet, seems to be used a lot by business blue collar travelers particularly railroad workers. The pictures in the room are even of railroad oriented things. Good breakfast included. Also pet friendly and no extra charge for them!!! :)

We were working our way west when we needed a motel in Shelby, Montana. We stayed at this Best Western and found the experience to be above average. If you are looking for a good room in Shelby this is the place.

This was one of the best hotels we have ever experienced. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The beds were very comfortable.The staff was very friendly and helpful. But the best part was the great breakfast selection of scrambled eg gs, bacon, etc. The hotel is close to the railroad but there was hardly any noise at all. We would recommend this hotel to all.

This is the best hotel we stayed at during our recent travel. we were also able to negotiate a better rate than the regular rate. It was a little confusing to find the drive way into the hotel but well worth the time to figure it out. You enter by turning into the parking lot for the business next to it and bearing to the left. Excellent hotel, great staff, super breakfast.

This is a modern clean Best Western. I believe the hotel is only three years old and it is in excellent condition. There is plenty of free parking out front. If you sleep lightly you may want to ask for a room on the back of the hotel so you don't hear the trains, not train whistles, just a bit of yard noise. Great breakfast too.

This was our third trip to Shelby, Mt over the last two years. Great breakfast included with the room. We stayed 5 nights. Very clean and quiet. There were a lot more vehicles than the last two trips, still was very quiet.

Had a relaxing 2 night stay with my dog. Thanks for having a low flat fee for pet owners! Such a nice and efficient staff! Got me a new TV remote when the batteries died. Ursula and Rachel at the Front Dest were so pleasant and welcoming. The hot breakfast had a nice variety of choices including biscuits and gravy. The ladies at the food area were also very nice. A new and very clean motel with an excellent staff and quiet surroundings. Will gladly return in the future.

It was a very nice hotel. The entrance was very modern with a rustic look. The entrance was very appealing. The rooms were very spacious. The TV service was good. I have stayed at this location twice for business and will definitely stay here again if I am back in the area.

This hotel is a recent addition to this chain and is a lovely facility. The room smelled fresh and clean. Beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet. Breakfast was acceptable and the desk clerk friendly and knowledgeable. We were so pleased with a delightful hotel on the middle of the Montana prairie.

Very please with the quiet location, cleanliness and helpful staff so close to the border. Restaurants close by that were recommended to us by hotel staff were also very good. There is a train track close by but staff put us in back of hotel which we never noticed any noise there at all. Nice little campground right behind where we could park our uhaul and see it from hotel!

We estimate we have stayed in over 80 BW properties in the US and Europe. This BW was by far the best ever. It is a newer property so that is a plus. The room was very generous and well appointed. There were ample outlets and the lightning was fine, even for those late night trips to the bathroom. The staff were friendly. The breakfast fare was excellent and the selection was larger than in most motels. We especially loved the fresh grapefruit wedges. The WiFi was excellent.

The hotel is nice, it is the customer service that isn't. My husband went to the front desk to ask for an extra blanket and he stood waiting for someone to help him, so long, that he gave up and had to use a phone to call them to the front. That was after he tried hollering for attention. Also, we had loud people above us one of the nights, where a child ran and jumped the entire time, it seemed (morning and night). The pool and hot tub were so chlorinated that everyone in the family's skin got super dry. It has been two weeks since our stay and we are still recovering with a ton of lotion. I would suggest staying at the Comfort Inn, if you stay in Shelby. Their rooms are larger and the times I've stayed there, I had zero complaints. There is a pool and hot tub there as well. It is not as fancy but the customer service makes up for it, in my opinion.

One of the best, if not the best, Best Western I've stayed in. Super pleasant staff and very helpful. They also were the first to recognize that my wife and I were Platinum members. It made sense that if a Hotel chain was going to create a member awards program that they should recognize those people who take advantage of it. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Excellent full breakfast as well. Great job guy's!

The manager and all the staff are friendly, helpful and very professional. When I'm in Shelby this is the only hotel I will stay in. This is my home away from home. The hotel is close to town and to many sites and other amenities. The swimming pool, hot tub and work out facility are excellent. The rooms are nicely decorated, exceptionally clean and the bed is very comfortable to sleep in. It is because of this specific hotel that I obtained a Best Western Rewards card. Thank you Rachel and a heart thank you to all your staff.

The Hotel was relatively new and was in good condition. The cleaning staff had overlooked cleaning part of the room but that was rectified when reported. The staff was helpful, the breakfast was excellent, the kitchen staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the room was well laid out. An additional $15.00 was added to our 'all costs in" final bill through price-line. This added fee was not mentioned in the process of booking and this needs to be addressed. The hotel addressed this with us and are frustrated that this is not part of the information given as well.

Stayed for one night on our way home to Canada. The hotel seems to be new and had a great breakfast included. Typical eggs, sausage and hash browns. Very quiet and we requested a room facing the back of the hotel which looks over a campground. No one was camping at the time so very quiet. There are train tracks across the road at the front so we thought it may get noisy with the train running through, but we never heard it. There is a pizza hut just down the road and the hotel is only about a 1/2 hour from the border. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place with friendly staff. They also have a few very important items when staying away from home. The lamps next to the bed have plug ins. The tv has a guide so you can see what is playing without going thru all of the channels. The bed is very comfy. The towels were soft.

Stopped her last minute and glad we did, fantastic staff very helpful got us in a room within 5 mins of walking in, impeccably clean everything was like it opened up yesterday brand new, warm breakfast was fabulous will stay here again for sure if we are in the area!

this is a an excellent place to stay on business trips. the breakfast is outstanding, and the service is second to none. this by far is the best hotel that Shelby, MT has to offer. Excellent prices, and a well built structure for noise.

We've stayed here several times as an overnight stop on our way back to Edmonton. We've always found the hotel to be clean, well maintained and safe, and the staff to be courteous and helpful. No different on this occasion. Our room (double queen) was spacious. Nice to have a good hotel like this available to us close to the border.

This Best Western in Shelby has the best rates for the accommodations of a motel. Their staff is always very friendly and helpful and attentive to our requests. As our son has lived in Shelby this last year and a half, we have always had a most pleasant stay when we visti. Last year, we first stayed at the Comfort Inn several times and then decided to stay at the Best Western. There was a notable difference in the accommodations and the service. And their breakfast has a nicer variety of food items.

The young lady at front desk was extremely helpful and polite. They had a wedding party on the first floor so she gave us rooms on the 3rd floor to give us a noise buffer. We didn't hear a thing not the highway, train or wedding party. The breakfast was a surprise. They had healthy options: fresh fruit (pineapple, grapefruit, blueberries and many others) to put on your cottage cheese, oatmeal or yogurt. The hot food was REAL bacon and sausage with REAL eggs. They offered both pancakes and waffle irons, cereals, muffins breads etc I could go on. Everything was fresh and maintained!! Room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. The only thing is you need to drive thru shopko parking lot to get there.

My family and I spent a single night at the Shelby Best Western and were very pleased with the comfort of the room, and its location (albeit near a rail line there was no disturbance). The Breakfast was of a high quality and the staff very friendly.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good. The Wi-Fi worked fine for internet service and receving & sending emails on my laptop. The window rattled with high wind gustts. Other than that I was very satisfied with my stay. I'm a BW Diamond member and stay at BW as often as possible.

Very nice and clean place for your dollar. Pool and hot tub were very clean too! Front desk clerk was very friendly and suggested places to see around the city. Was close to shopping and good food as recommended by the Clerk.

Just a wonderful property!!! Hotel is extremely clean, staff is very helpful, friendly and go out of their way to accommodate guests. They have a great little breakfast room with quite a nice selection of breakfast foods to choose from including hot items such as bacon/sausage, eggs, etc..

This place is right on the highway, and is pretty new. The beds are comfy, and the rooms are roomy! Breakfast was great, with plenty of seating to eat. The pool was closed during our stay so we did not get a chance to try it out. When travelling down I-15 in the future I would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, The Staff was wonderful and the facilities great. From check in to check out the staff meet our every need with promptness and smiles. The linens were very fluffy and soft, the bed very comfy. The breakfast bar was the best we have ever eaten at. Plenty of food with a great selection to choose from. The fitness room had every piece of equipment we needed for a complete work out. The grandkids loved the pool and hot tub. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Shelby area.

The hotel itself is a good hotel, I have stayed here maybe 10 times. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable, the shower good... The problems are other than with the hotel itself. One of the people who works the front desk has been a source of irritation in that he changes the rates upward. As a Government contractor we often get the Government rate, unless this one man (I think he is the only man that works there) tries to increase the price. We have to submit our expense report, I don't want to hear from payroll about it. Last time, about a month ago we had this problem when I was joined a day later by an aircraft mechanic, and then again this trip. I've had conflicts with this man several times over the last year, I think I'll stay in Great Falls or at the Comfort Inn next time to avoid this man. The Internet is quirky. I've been waiting for some paperwork on a helicopter and the printer in the Business Center is very low on toner, the connection times you out... If you are looking for a good room with a good, comfortable bed, this is a good hotel. If you are traveling for work, I'd consider other options.

The lobby is very open and large. Check-in was fast and thorough. The clerk was very nice. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom as well. The fridge was larger than most. The room had a microwave and a coffeemaker. The WiFi connection was fast too. The breakfast had a generous selection of hot foods as well as the normal fare. An attendant in the breakfast room made sure that items were kept full and dishes cleared from tables. Location was quiet and located near to the freeway. This was a very nice hotel.

We had a group of about 20 that stayed for my father's funeral. The staff was very accommodating and offered us a conference room to gather at no charge. Everyone enjoyed the stay. It made the whole experience much easier.

This hotel is very clean and comfortable with a great breakfast buffet and a friendly staff. Will stay at this property in the future if I am in the area. Pool and fitness area very well maintained. Great location and easy to find.

The room while comfortable enough does not offer a chair and chaise to put your feet up. The desk and table chairs are ok, but not relaxing at all after a long day on the road. Beds are average and pillows just suck.....no easier way to put it.

After a long day, I was pleasantly surprised to see how big and modern this hotel is just off of I-15. It has a large lobby with a breakfast dining area that seems too small for the number of rooms offered. We left early in the morning, so we were one of the first ones to eat and dash, but there was certainly a line of people looking for chairs when we left. The staff are super friendly and we booked this place because they also allow dogs. We got a nice main floor room overlooking the parking lot. The noise level was really low, so the place appears well made and sound proof. The parking lot out front is huge and there is an RV camping site just up the hill from the parking lot. Lots of grass and walking spaces around the hotel for the dog. The place is landscaped and looked after. We would not hesitate to stay here again. We did not used the indoor pool, but it sure looked busy with the families.

The only trains we saw were the ones decorating the walls and what a delight. Not the usual colourful nonsense for décor but pictures of all kinds of trains, unique bringing the outside in. We never heard a sound and above all spotlessly clean my first priority Thanks BW this was a perfect rest stop on our way to Canada. It is close to the highway and we were on our way after breakfast nice and early. Love your taste in trains

I stayed at Best Western Shelby while conducting business in Shelby and Cut Bank. The location is perfect, right off of interstate fifteen and the road between Shelby and Cut Bank. The staff was warm and welcoming which was appreciated after a long and icy drive, warm cookies waiting were fabulous! The lobby is cozy with a fire burning and it looks to be newly decorated. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the water pressure was great in the shower. I literally did not hear one thing outside my room once I shut my door. They gave me a list of restaurants (including pizza delivery) and made recommendations so finding a place to eat was a breeze. A snack shop in the lobby was available as well. I don't recall the front desk girl's name, but I really appreciated all the help she gave me with registering with the new promotions for my rewards program, when you travel for business it's fun to look forward to using those points towards a pleasure trip. Breakfast was great, lots to choose from, even breakfast burritos pancakes and waffles. When I return to the Shelby/Cut Bank area, I will definitely stay here again!

I had to look to find the hotel, and had to look even harder for the entrance in the dark. But after i made it to the hotel i was impressed, very clean and beds are awesome as per all best western hotels... or 90% of them any way. The clerk was over chatty but did his job well and was very informative. A word of caution, The food for breakfast is horrible. served weiners for sausage, the powdered eggs were cold and the waffle iron is not set right and the waffles are still creamy on the inside... yuk!

Clean, quiet, courteous staff. Beds were very comfortable - more so than other hotels I've been in. Quiet rooms even though I was right above the lobby, I never heard a thing. Staff was great and helpful.

For a business traveler the rooms are adequate, however lack anywhere to sit and relax in the room. There is no chair and foot stool combination just desk chairs. Also the pillows are too hard for my liking, however some may like them. The hotel staff is very pleasant.

Stayed there one night on way to Kalispell. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort of the Best Western, Shelby Inn & Suites. Staff were exceptional. Breakfast was pretty basic but tasted good and was fresh.

We recently stayed at the BW in Shelby Montana as we were returning to Canada from our home in Palm Springs. We were originally going to stop in Great Falls but decided to carry onto Shelby. We were very pleased that we did, the hotel was very nice with comfortable beds. The breakfast cinnamon buns were amazing. We would definitely stay at this hotel again when driving through Montana.

This is the second time we have stayed at this Best Western and were not disappointed in the high quality of service and overall hotel experience. It is nicely located close to the border with easy access. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling through.

I had business in Calgary, and needed to pass through Shelby, MT. My wife and I had planned to check our firearms at a local gun shop until our return, but traffic held us up, and the shop was closed when we got there. I had read somewhere that the Best Western safely stored weapons for guests.The desk clerk understood our dilemma, and allowed us to store our weapons in the safe, even though we weren't staying there. No Charge for the service, though I did tip the Desk Clerk when we picked up our weapons. I am now planning another trip to Canada, and this time we are planning to stay at least two nights at the Best Western in Shelby, MT.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel in Shelby. Our adult son had stayed here for about a week in January since his house was not ready yet. Your rooms are very spacious and well designed. I especially like the bathroom with a large counter and overall bigger space. The beds were very comfortable and we liked the 150 cable channels that were available. The breakfast buffet had a nice assortments of fruits and juices, plus quite a few entrée items. Your staff is very friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcomed. We will be back to stay at your hotel!

Hotel was conveniently located one block off Interstate 15, with easy on-off access. My room was located on the ground floor as I requested, and close to an outside door which I used for convenient loading and unloading baggage, and walking my dog every two hours. An all-round good experience.

I can not say enough good about the motel and the staff.You won,t be disappointed. We misplaced a cell phone, and the staff returned it. We had trouble starting one of our bikes in the morning because of the bitter cold, and the staff were kind enough to lend us booster cable. Wonderful!

We stayed here one night. Hotel was good, modern and had nearby laundry facility which was nice. There is not much to do in Shelby so our day here wasn't that great. Also the staff could have been more accommodating, we waited for hours for them to check the mail as we had a package sent there. It was in their box all morning, and had to wait till the afternoon to get it before we left, but that was out of the ordinary. They served breakfast there, nothing to write home about, but it was breakfast. The rooms were good though, modern and well above average.

We always stay here when we travel for work. I really like this hotel and have NEVER had any problems while staying here. I am usually very tired upon arrival and generally go to bed very early. This is quite easy to do here if on the back side. You will not hear trains if noises keep you awake. The rooms are always clean and no funky smell...as this one I am staying at right now has. Sweaty Man...oh great. I love clean COMFORTABLE rooms. This is it!

We had a trip planned and had a work situation arise where we needed to change our trip dates. The hotel was pre-paid and not willing to work with us and ended up having to eat the cost of the hotel so we are canceling our membership to Best Western. It's not like we were not going, we just had to change the dates.

Great new hotel right off the I-15. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Nice staff. It is nice having Shopko right next store incase I have forgot something. Unfortunately, there are no restaurants or coffee houses within walking distance but hopefully there is something in the works for the near future.
