SureStay Plus by Best Western Sevierville

We stayed here before when it was Econolodge 2-3 years ago. We liked it because it was far enough away from the main touristy areas so it is usually quiet. I realize that the hotel has no control over people's behavior....to some degree. That being said, When a family is completely rude and loud, slamming doors and yelling every night/morning at 10:30-2:45 am and the hotel is fully booked, the management has a duty to tell them to be quiet for the benefit of everyone around them ( each side of their room, above and below) One early morning, we were jolted awake by the father screaming and the kids crying at 2am. The police were called and so was a medic. At no time did the management try to quiet them nor did they remove them. The management never apologized to anyone or offer a refund or anything to EVERYONE who was disrupted by them.

This hotel was so cheap, $45 per night roughly and honestly it's as good as other BW properties that are $90-100. Clean and comfy rooms with decent bathrooms and good facilities. Really close to Dollywood and Great Smoky Mountains national park, good food in area and well connected. Decent breakfast, no healthy options but plenty of decent options. Will stay again.

Firstly, I have stayed in this hotel when it was under a different brand - I think it was called the Econolodge when I stayed a few years ago. Back then, the rooms were a great price and were very clean - which is why I suggested this hotel to stay in for July 2024. I DO NOT like writing negative reviews because I know that sometimes there are days where things are just off. But we have learned our lesson from this one. We checked in with no problems, but then we went up to our room. Immediately the musty smell was the first thing to notice. Ok, no big deal. I always inspect the rooms upon arrival - I do this everywhere I go. Then, I walked over to the bed our kids hopped on - the bed sheets were very apparently stained. There were still one or two hairs on pillowcases. There were visible brownish orangish stains behind and beside of the headboard of the bed, and scuff marks all over the walls and on the floor. The floors were “swept” until you got to the bed nearest the window - in the corner by the headboard of the bed. There was visible dirt and hair that you could see with the naked eye. This hotel room was also $150 a night. My husband is a polite man and went to ask the front desk to ask for a different room. He was greeted with nothing but attitude and an eye roll. We were given a different key and so we left and checked the other room. It was less stuffy/musty, but not much better. That is when we decided to purchase a stay at a different hotel. When we packed our belongings to leave, my husband went to inform them we decided to to not stay - to which he was greeted with more attitude. They told him that they “did not issue refunds so we would have to contact corporate” but at that point I didn't care I was just happy to get out of there. My husband then called corporate as he was told to do. We were polite and explained the situation - and the HR representative sounded flabbergasted when told that we were directed to him & that we were told no refunds would be issued. I understand that things happen sometimes, but my main issue is the looks & attitude from employees that day. We did have our issue resolved through HR but my advice would be to treat your customers a bit better and not talk to them like they are liars. I really hope this gets resolved because this used to be such a good place to stay - but I will not stay in a $150/night hotel that is only halfway clean and employees are rude.

Room was clean and comfortable, and it was a good value price wise. Breakfast was a little disappointing but not bad. Waffles were good and so were the eggs. We didn't utilize the pool area because it was raining. For the price I would stay again. Staff was excellent!

Hotel was wonderful! Very good price! Our air conditioner was not working in the first room but staff was quick to try to fix it and when that didn't work the very nice lady moved us to a different room! That room was amazing! Room was clean! Breakfast was good. My son enjoyed the waffles very much! There was no fruit offered but we had a short stay so it wasn't a big deal! You can't beat the price for this hotel. Also pool was a little dirty but we still swam. There had been meant storms in the area the last few days so that probably couldn't have been helped!

Within minutes of checking in, my children's feet were not only turned black, but were grimy. Returned to front desk and asked to address it with morning staff. Morning staff member said they would have floors cleaned during the day. Returned at the end of the day to still-filthy floors. Went back to front desk for 3rd time when the agent came and mopped our floors himself. No apology given. No compensation. Horrid experience.

This was an unexpected surprise. An excellent location. Minutes away from the interstate and just minutes away from Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. Full amenities at a reasonable price. Many dining options in the area.

This hotel is great, easy to get in and out, from highway, very clean. Great breakfast, the staff is very friendly. Very clean rooms, beds a little hard, but our room was great. Cracker Barrell and Kroger across the parking lot. Loved staying here.

Overall dissatisfied by far. The bathroom was still dirty. Don't waste your time with the breakfast it's gross and not even warm. The whole bottom floor smelled bad like Pot and it was such a strong smell it was smothering. If you're fine with mediocre rooms and pot the place is for you. The location was just about the only good thing about the place.

Everything was great. The coffee is delicious. The housekeeping is great. Everyone greets you with a smile and hello. Couldn't be a nicer stay. Totally happy. Extended my stay and it was great. 👍 👍👍

This bathroom was appalling. The shower curtain was stained and moldy. The bed was soggy. The breakfast was woefully inadequate. I want expecting a palace but this place is a dump. It should not carry the Sure Stay name.

Worse Best Western I have ever stayed at. Conditions are not good. All front desk clerks, except night auditor, were unfriendly, argumentative, disrespectful and totally unprofessional and should be fired immediately. I requested early checking. I called 12 times over 8 hours and NO ONE ever answered the phone. When asked, clerk said never heard the phone ring. Even had customer relations call with no answer. I addressed to clerk working that night, she denied it. Hallways on 2nd and 3rd floor no ac. I asked front desk, he told me maintenance for cleaning because there was a mold problem. He later denied it. I got sick from this. Had to go see a doctor. I told them front desk cameras don't lie. I requested a call/face to face with General manager. They never knew how to call Patel. Did not know how to contact him. Gave me his card with email. I sent email and he never responded. I asked medical protocol and he said he had worked front desk for 2 years and he hadn't established one. Clerk from Caribbean country. Since GM is not present on property, clerk boys and house keeping do whatever they want. Cameras don't lie. I had to leave a day early due to illness and notified the night auditor and showed medical documentation to prove illness. He wrote a note to cancel last day and for credit. I never received a call or a copy of final bill. Called customer relations. They called hotel. They refused to cancel my last day and to not charge me. I am a diamond plus member and previously a platinum member. Never been treated in a Best Western this badly, EVER!!! Will never stay there again.

Go to Sevierville quite often. Stayed in a lot of different hotels some good some terrible. I know what to expect at Sure Stay. Friendly staff, an adequate breakfast and easy access to Pigeon Forge and the Smokie Mountains. Fair price for a great room.

The room/bathroom are poorly designed. Standing from the toilet results in hitting your head on the towel rack. You can't watch TV with the lights on because of glare. The line for the waffle maker blocks access to the other food choices. The front desk lies to you to get out of the hard parts of their job. The manager lied to B W about resolving my problem. I will never stay here again.

Enjoy staying there. Conviently located in parkway. Breakfast in morning is good and you could not find a better staff anywhere. Staff is helpful. Several resturants very close by and two major grocery stores in the mall behind. Place is very clean. Stayed there many times and would recommend it to anyone.

This property has nice for the price. The rooms are a little small and the breakfast is a little weak. But overall it's clean comfortable and friendly. If you are traveling on a little budget, this is a excellent property to stay at.

We have stayed here multiple times. Never a problem from check in to check out!! Great staff, bed, the room is great… We especially appreciate being recognized from previous stays by the dear, front desk attendant.

It used to be an econo lodge which should set the tone for this review. I knew it was gonna a disaster the day I was to check in. Had issues couldn't make it that day. Called literally all day absolutely no answer. Got 800 number involved. They couldn't get a hold of them. That got resolved the next day. Checked in and I'm just giving an honest review. The walls are paper thin and there is about an inch at the bottom of each door from the floor. Every single sound in the hallway is like you had your door open and could hear everything. If you're ok with all that then the cheap price is good for you. I won't be back. I got zero sleep

First time staying in this new Best Western property. Very nice, clean, located close to Dollywood. We have stayed at all the other Best Western properties from Kodak to Pigeon Forge and this one is just as great as the others! We will definitely stay again.

I don't like writing bad reviews but we had such a bad expierience here I want to save other families so you can enjoy your vacation. We had a reservation here for 3 nights. We drove all day and we're exhausted and got to the hotel at 2am. When we got there no employee was anywhere to be found. I looked around called out and rang the bell they had. There was a sign on the front desk saying No vacancy if you need front desk help call this phone number. We called the number and got the message that this phone number was disconnected. We called several and after 30min of no one showing up to the desk I called corporate to see if someone could help us get into our room. After being on the phone for another 20min this lady came out of the back room looking like she just woke up! She was comepltly out of it when speaking to us it seemed like she was just sleeping in the back. I've never had this happen at any hotel. It is now after 3am and we finally are able to get into our room. In the morning when we wake up I tried to take a shower and not only did the plumbing not work but the room was dirty and bathroom was very dirty! The drain for the shower was clogged and part of the drain was broken off. I went downstairs but yet again no one was at the front desk again! My family and I had plans that day so we just left and drove to our destination. Later in the day I called to cancel the rest of our reservation and management told us we cannot cancel. I explained our room and experience to the manager who was very rude and he didn't apologize or help us out at all. Not only did they not give us any type of refund but I got an alert from our credit card company saying they tried to bill us for an additional 50 dollars after we said we were leaving after being there only a few hours! While I was at the desk trying to cancel there was another guest having problems with plumbing and a different guest leaving early like us as well. Please don't stay here! We lost $400 and had the worst experience. Don't ruin your vacation trying to save a couple $$ like I did by staying here.

Rooms are very small . Not recently renovated like they say .Water shoots out all over you in bathroom. The people above my room never got quiet walls are paper thin .The smell of the hotel was oh musk .Staff is not friendly thoughts we're am in the twilight zone these people move like zombies.

I booked this place because of the location and it had the amenities I was looking for. It was also very budget friendly. But the stay was memorable because of the wonderful staff, how they helped us with such kindness and treated my daughter as if she was there own. I highly recommend for such a budget friendly option!

Our room was not clean. The tub dripped and they knew it and put us in there anyways. The breakfast had good items, but tasted really bad and they didn't have coffee the first day. Thank heavens they were in the parking lot of Starbucks.
