Best Western Plus Sebastian Hotel & Suites

Great stop on the way to Miami. Staff were super. Pools just what you need at the end of a hot day. Great for a few days. Rooms were as expected. Staff at breakfast were great. Only complaint is their partner hotel where you are directed for food is very poor. Don't eat there.

They lied about reservations: we had no balcony, or ocean view suite. With no freezer in the fridge, the person at the front desk said the units with freezer options had been removed so none were available. It was not as cold as we liked and we asked about it, adjusted it to no avail. The Hot water was not present and we complained about it twice and they said there was nothing they could do. We asked about another room and they could not accomodate us, stating they were full, and all rooms had the The pool was reported to be closed for 2 of the 4 days and nights we stayed, but it was closed to us all of them in actuality and they had no response as to why the time closed was expanded. My wife asked to speak to the manager and they said he would be in the next day and would call her. She awaited the call, called him instead, but they said he was at Captain Hirams down the street (a sister company hotel) and she went there to meet him. They could not find him, they did not know where he was. On checkout, they would not provide a checkout bill or receipt. We asked why and they said it was booked through a 3rd party (which was incorrect to our knowledge). We booked through the Best Western website and they said that because my wife called to verify with someone "onsite" to ask about getting a room with an "Ocean view", "a room with a balcony" and a King bed suite, she was transferred to a 3rd party (maybe "Central Reservations"?) It was certainly a "bait and switch" as we booked direct through Best Western, only to be informed we technically did not. The staff at the front desk would not put my BW member number in to get points, since "it was a pre-pay". I said I thought that many reservations are prepay and do not tend to invalidate your ability to collect points. She did not claim to know. Very frustrating an we had the worst experiences imaginable. It gets worse, though. At 2:43am on the 2nd night of our stay, the building shook and shook with loud machinery noises. We were concerned for our safety as were others we spoke to that morning. We called down to the front desk to hear it ring unanswered. My wife dressed and went downstairs to ask what was going on. The attendant was on her cell phone browsing at the door entrance to their office, their phone ringing. My wife asked what was the noise and shaking of the building and she stated they are paving. Staff there threatened to call the police to have my wife escorted away for being upset. Aweful.

Small and quaint hotel. Staff very friendly and the location is central to some nice places to eat. Breakfast was nice and the hostesses were helpful and friendly. I was able to relax even though I was there to attend a wedding! Well definitely think about here for a quick get away!

BW Sebastian is our first choice hotel when in town. I have no hesitance about recommending it and the way staff has responded to our concerns when a problem has arisen. With few exceptions our stays (3-4 occasions annually for 5 years) have been efficiently resolved in good order with outstanding attitudes that have made us "regulars!"

Our room had a horrible smell. When we brought it to attention of the front desk, we were moved to another room and had the same problem. The couple we traveled with had the same problem. We spoke to other guests, and they had the same complaint. Staff was very nice, but management refused to compensate us monetarily.

This was a very nice Best Western. We stayed in the two room suite and it was extremely spacious. Plenty of room for the entire family to spread out. Room had a full kitchen, large bathroom, and pullout with linens. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed one night. At breakfast there was sausage, potatoes but no eggs. Very strange. Had the other usual items but I never stayed at a Best Western that had a hot breakfast with no eggs. I am a Best Western Rewards club highest level member and stay in a lot of Best Westerns. They got downgraded for this. Otherwise the room was good and I didn't notice any other issues.

I very much enjoyed my stay other than someone making the entire floor smell like marijuana. All the employees were quite kind and easy to get along with. Would kind of like having the family all on the same floor.

Excellent service, clean room, good breakfast. The location is close to my business and there are plenty of restaurants, stores and amenities close by. I will return to this location on my next business trip. Thank you

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel considering the rate we paid. The room was very clean and comfortable, and staff was friendly. The breakfast was on par with most other similarly priced hotels, and offered a choice of a hot breakfast, waffles, pastries, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. They are associated with Capt. Hiram's Resort which is close by and includes restaurants and boat tours. I would definitely stay there again.

Used to live in Osceola County and made many road trips to Sebastian, Vero, Melbourne and Cocoa. This tine we spent 4 days for leisure and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the surrounding restaurants.

Our air conditioning went on the fritz while family were visiting. Last minute, the two bedroom suite was available and a welcome respite from the heat. The y also gave us a room that would/could be open if we required an extended stay.

Located near the heart of Sebastian, close to Capt. Hiram's restaurant & bar. Since it's right off US-1, it's very accessable and conveniant. Both a St' Lucie Tire & Battery garage is available for car problems, and a Wendy's restaurant is within walking distance for fast food.

The Motel is very clean. The breakfast was good. The employees were very nice people. I showed them respect and they did me. Very friendly also. The second time I have stayed in 2 years, and plan to come back again.

We always stay at the Best Western Plus Sebastian when we are in the area. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent customer service and the very best breakfast thanks to a very dedicated employee - Shannon. She displays a wonderful variety of food and her customer service is second to none! We love this hotel!

To stay at Best Western exceeded my expectations the rooms were neat and clean the staff was friendly and courteous to check in and check out was hassle-free the value was exceptional overall the experience was an a+

Nice Best Western with breakfast and great location. Walk to the water or restaurants. Friendly staff. The King room with jacuzzi recommended. TV channels limited but sufficient. Ample lighted parking area.

This was a hotel beyond repair. To charge $249+ for a room is outrageous, in particular considering that there was no room cleaning (on a follow up question the answer was that you had to demand cleaning, but that wasn't mentioned at rhe check-in). The hotel breakfast was a joke, with one person trying to cater for about 40 guests. All in all, a stay in hell.

Best Western Plus is very accommodating, clean and the staff is super helpful and so pleasant! Rooms are very nice and comfortable. Their breakfast is fantastic with their many options. Parking is never a problem.

Extremely impressed from the time I made the reservation until we checked out. Excellent Hotel. Rooms were clean with all amenities including a great early breakfast and coffee during the day and night. Staff were professional and always helpful.

I arrived at the hotel very late at night, and when I walked into my room, the smell hit me like a brick wall. You get used to it after a while, but the room just felt unclean and unpleasant to me. The staff were overall curteous and nice, but there really wasn't anything they could do to fix the problem. Breakfast was decent - pretty much what I would expect.

Hotel hallways and rooms had an unpleasant odor. Carpets felt damp and were dirty. The kids took their socks and shoes off and their feet turned black after 15 mins. Shower water pressure extremely light.

My family and I went to Sebastian Inlet and stayed at this Best Western because of the reviews. Room was surprisingly big and roomy, we had 2 rooms plus kitchen, living room and bathrooms. Perfect for our family of 5. Great customer service! Pool was warm! Breakfast was hot and delicious each morning, which was perfect for my family! Plenty of safe parking and close to restaurants and stores and the bait shop for our morning fishing. Great experience here and highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again (great price, too!) and recommend to family and friends!

This place was nasty. After rejecting the first room for not being cleaned. They put me in another, it was just as bad. Smelled like mold and teen feet, all the fixtures in the room were rusted, yes rusted. Bathroom was nasty, sink had mold or hard water stains, left early.

It was very clean, and close to Capt. Hirms . Lots of local places to visit and enjoy. The pool was great and the staff was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly to help. Rooms cozy and clean, plenty of pillows.

Stayed here on our tour of Florida. Nice, clean rooms. Helpful staff. Right off highway. Good location easy access. If we find ourselves here in the future will stay again without hesitation. Very good value for the money.

Checked in on 6/21 into room 210. Had my family with me for a same night stay . The property looked great pool and grounds were perfect. The front desk girl was not friendly I think her name was KImberly. Went up to the room and tried to call the front desk with questions about the location of the ice machine (only one for three floors) on bottom level and the time the pool closes. No one answered the front desk phone. So we went to the pool and saw Miss Kimberly smoking by the pool. After that I saw nobody who worked there until 530 am and had to ask the breakfast girl the password for the business center door code. As I waited for 20 minutes at the front desk for a person to show up drinking cold lobby coffee since 4am. Special thanks to Shannon who works the breakfast area she was friendly and asked if we needed anything else please ask I would train her for the front desk because Shannon's smile and hard work deserves a awesome pay raise and job she saved my vacation by going above and beyond her duties.

We have not one complaint about our stay. We thought it would be bad sleep wise as there are train tracks right next to the hotel, but we did not hear the train go by during the evening. Our room was clean, the bed was really comfortable and we were able to do laundry onsite. Also there was a pool. It was an overall great stay. Next time we are in Sebastian, this will be our spot.

We live in the Keys and were visiting friends in the Sebastion area. So happy we stayed here. Room was very clean and updated. The staff were super friendly! Hotel is very well managed. The free breakfast was even great. Its conveniently located and the price is right too! Good choice.

The Jacuzzi tub was smaller than expected; it's setup for a couple, but no way would 2 people be comfortable in there. Plus it had large clumps of hair coming out of the jets. The bed was not comfortable at all; my neck and back are still stiff after just a weekend stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but they need to hire more. The room still had trash from the previous people, and roaches were found as well. Location is nice, but it's not worth the price in my opinion.

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff & excellent amenities! Close to restaurants & shopping! Nice accommodations if traveling w/your pet. Pool area nice to gather friends around & beautiful gazebo to sit & talk.

Off of busy route 1,with pool right off the road. Other than that,you get what you pay for. Not many hotels in area so I was happy to get a reservation at best western.room was clean,comfortable bed,good breakfast,parking.

Enjoyed using the workout room and the bed was super comfortable! Front desk staff was very nice! Will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Sebastian. In-room fridge was helpful and the bathroom was very nice with all the comforts of home.

We encountered a few problems when we arrived but after making Val, the manager, aware, it was immediately handled. JJ, Desk Clerk, was welcoming, efficient and very helpful. Our breakfast Attendant offered pastries and was courteous and friendly. Breakfast items were hot and abundant. Only complaint, not related to staff, was the sofa bed mattress was terrible. Highly recommend staying there. Sleep quality was average because of sofa bed.

2 bedroom suite with kitchen Negative: Kitchen and bathroom unacceptable! The very obvious was overlooked or you might say just never cleaned! Scant kitchen supplies! Odor in the room! Positive: Clean linen- But if you asked for more the cleaning staff would say I don't have enough, or I only have enough for the rooms I am cleaning, per 2 different housekeeping staff. Great place to stay, comfortable and clean. Brought our pet and had a very nice visit. Staff were very helpful. The location of the hotel was convenient to restaurants and for walks along the water. Quiet area for a great sleep.

My experience with BW Sebastian during each stay during 2021 has been excellent. The great BW staff provide warm, courteous, timely service that makes me feel welcome and safe. The great BW Sebastian people, like Valerie, and their service will keep me coming back.

We stayed here the week of thanksgiving. The first night we were awakened by a very loud tv. The front desk managed to track down the room and it was silenced around 1:30 AM. However, the following 4 nights it was the same thing. The tv went off at 1:30 each night. The front desk was unable to locate the source. Hotel is in desperate need of soundproofing. The staff was great however this is a tired hotel in need of updating. We will not stay here again.

Have been staying here for years. It is always clean and comfortable and for my purposes the location to family is perfect. Wish the breakfast choices were a bit more robust but what's provided is always fresh.

Sebastian BW is my favorite place to stay because of the convenience, good prices, very clean rooms, great breakfast & BEST Staff - Valerie, Michelle & JJ (and others). Keep up the great hospitality and wonderful experience, and we will keep coming to visit BW!

Had registered to check-in at 1pm. Got to the hotel and was told “not guaranteed” come back at 2pm room wasn't ready. Asked why someone couldn't have called us and let us know, not really given any answer. Sat in car where it was hot with wife and dog while we waited. Came back in at 2pm and told still not ready. Told by one employee come back in 5 min and by other come back in 15 minutes. They were standing right next to each other. Came back in 5 minutes, employee looked at me and said “What”? Like she didn't recognize me. I said I'm back again. She said, “ I know. What do you need?” I said a card to get in right? She said, “ Oh, I thought the other person gave it to you.” Also, each time I came back in (3 times), with two employees at the counter, each time I came in, I went to the back of the line. No one called me up to the counter to help me. One of the two employees could have remembered me the 2nd and 3rd time I came in and said, “I'll take you”. No need to wait in line again.” Finally got up to our room after sitting outside for over 30 minutes, tired, hot. Remote to TV was broken. Housekeeping didn't know this? Towels are all small (including shower) and paper thin. Bed was comfortable. Air conditioning was quiet and worked. All night long could hear doors loudly closing. This was a constant meaning it didn't stop at 11pm or 12am. Less frequent after midnight but every time it happened was loud and woke us up. Shower took a while to heat up and didn't have a lot of pressure. No night light in the bathroom so if you get up at night you either walk in to a pitch dark bathroom or you turn the bright regular bathroom light on waking yourself up. Breakfast was better than recent breakfasts offered by most hotels throughout the pandemic. Most hotels or many are still grab and go which are a joke if you expect or are looking for a hot breakfast. The breakfast included some hot items which was good. Overall, service could have been better and hotel is severely in need of some TLC and updating.

When I googled the price, it was $112. When I got there it was actually $220. The place is a dump. The lights in the room barely lit up the room and the remote control for the television was broken. Bathroom towels were all like floor towels.

Wonderful hotel people were great, businesslike professionals and efficient, hotel was well maintained. Personnel all did a great job. Breakfast was terrific, with plenty of fresh food eggs and such. All went well.

My room had WET carpet, there was a DISTINCT ODOR in the room - not mold, nor pets - but something like the cleaners had tried to "mask", and "over shampooed" the carpets. The hot water did not work in the shower, and I had asked TWICE to please be placed at the end of a hall, because I had two Yorkies, who are very "nervous". They put me in the center of the hall, directly across from the elevator! My dogs barked until midnight, went to sleep, then the fire alarm went off at 6:30 a.m.! The sprinklers went off in their kitchen, for some reason, and we all had to evacuate. I was in my pajamas, in the parking lot!

Nice People is the key.... you had them. Room was clean - a bit small but fine for a night stay. Did not have any issues with called in reservation - they tried to hook me up with a discount but I had no special class to fit any - so they still give a little off as I obtained a King room.

Very clean and reasonably priced. Stayed here numerous times close to fun activities and the water. Captain Hirams is just walking distance with live music at night. Plus 2 restaurants to choose fancy or total casual.

Upon check-in on 5/5/21 at 8pm was asked to slide credit card 3 times in 2 different machines as clerk said card wasn't going through. On the same date, our card was used to purchase $300.82 of merchandise from Arbonne. The last time this card was used was on 4/14 at our local Dodge dealership. Called and asked to speak to GM. Was told he wasn't in but left a message on voicemail. No response. After poor review on Best Western site, received a canned email response from GM. Filed a police report, police went to hotel to talk with GM.....still no call or response. Feel fairly confident credit card breech was from here due to the fact the card had not been used for almost 30 days. Beware and be cautious!

One night stay here in Room 308...so nice. Valerie at front desk provided really excellent customer service and was friendly, professional, and very informative. King room was very nice with recent updates and a fresh smell. A/C worked really well. Bathroom and sleeping areas were spacious, quiet, and clean. They take pride in the place and it shows.

The room was beautifully decorated clean we got the jacuzzi suite it was awesome awesome guests people that were around the pool were really friendly awesome staff it was just a great experience. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful hotel

I stayed there for my birthday and it was the best choice I made. The hotel was so clean and everybody was friendly during my stay. I will definitely come back again and stay. Me and my King got the jacuzzi room which was amazing. The rooms are so spacious there and they had enough towels and stuff that came with the room. During my time they were sold out. If you ever in this area please stay at this hotel during your stay. This hotel is very peaceful. Thanks again for making my trip a huge success.

The driveway is basically a short hairpin turn. We had to pull up alongside the business next door, then back in front of the business next door, then pull forward just to enter the hotel parking lot. Additionally, the drive has a short steep incline that had to be maneuvered very carefully to avoid dragging. There are deep grooves in the drive where many have dragged. The RV parking is non existent, due to low hanging trees. Fortunately, hotel staff allowed us to park crosswise, taking up 6 parking spots.

dirty washcloth in shower. room was super dirty. the air did not work well. the room smelled super musty. there were 2 towels in the room when there was 3 of us in the room. continued to hear dogs barking which i love dogs but oh my goodness i had no idea this was pet friendly!

As a Florida Resident they could have had better rates. Elevator was briefly out of order. Rooms were very clean, beds were very comfy. No full breakfast due to pandemic. Overall, we would stay here again.

There was some kind of party involving the desk clerk that went on all night long. Looked like a hooker convention at 6am. My friend convinced me to not go out because she knows all to well that the confrontation would not end well.

This property was wonderful. I appreciated the courteous and helpful staff, comfortable rooms and excellent bedding. The hotel has a decent sized pool and is steps from the waterfront for outdoor exercise and wildlife viewing. There were many local options within a mile or so for dining.

The hotel had great reviews so I stayed while in town for a conference. Was disappointed. Could hear people talking in the hallway, having sex in the room next door, knocks on doors and a roach in the bathroom

Great staff very convenient location. You walk couple blocks and you have plenty restaurants, water, boat ramps. There is plenty to do and entertain yourself without any need to drive if you wish to enjoy some cocktails.

We got caught by tropical storm eta we had no choice then to stay at this hotel. The 2 bedroom rate $100 a night. What do you get for this rate. Dirty smelly room with sticky carpet and bathroom floor. Dont stay here! Front desk staff never on the front desk. If we could have safely driven to port st lucie there are plenty of good hotels for $80 and clean. Live and learn.

Spent one night in the hotel prior to a wedding. - Medium size pool was clean and warm and I had it to myself. I could not find towels at the pool though. - The room was spacious, nicely decorated, quiet and clean. Beds and bedding were comfortable. There was a bit of a musty smell to the room but I believe that is related to the climate as ventilation was working well. - Bagged breakfasts and coffee were available at the desk. - Staff were efficient and welcoming.

We reserved the 2 room suite. Ideal room setup for us. 2 bedrooms with a living area and kitchen. Great rate for our stay. There were a few maintenance type issues and they were addressed by the staff. I like to walk. Even though the hotel is located on Rt. 1, you can safely cross street at a traffic light and it is one block to road that runs along the river. We'd stay again.

Very helpful staff and clean rooms. My woman is very picky as am I. I felt really comfortable getting into the hot tub and really enjoyed the new amenities. The staff was very helpful as we needed some extra towels and the nice lady brought them right up. I will stay here again as long as the price stays reasonable.

Hotel was clean and set up with specific guidelines to maintain social distancing.Room was very nicely appointed and comfortable. Only problem we had was that the toilet ran after flushing. Not a big deal.

We had 12 rooms for a wedding in Grant. Staff was over the top accommodating. They went out of their way to remember who we all were. "Have a great wedding". Awesome experience!! We came to Sebastian to explore this area of the Space Coast. This Best Western Plus is another upgrade to this chain that provides for a good stay. We found all the creature comforts here. The bed was good and the room quiet. We had absolutely no issues The wi-fi was fast, they had a nice pool and the staff was quite engaging. For our purposes, the location was great and we had a good time, We can well recommend this lodging.

While visiting with relatives in the area, we stayed here & enjoyed the property. Staff was gracious, friendly & helpful. We requested a handicap friendly room & were accommodated. We decided to stay an extra day after arriving & the Front Desk folks were efficient & happy to serve. Altho the property was located very near a railroad track, we were not disturbed by any passing trains, day or nite. The breakfast was always fresh & the room was kept clean with all items refilled before depleting.

Everything met or exceeded expectations for a quick business trip. Will stay again next time business brings me this way. Room was a bit musty upon arrival, but I believe that was due to the air conditioning being off.

Beautiful property friendly staff rooms are large nicely decorated bright newly renovated and clean hallways are clean and bright sister property across the street Captain Hiram's was an added bonus with great food a free drink would definitely stay here again, our only regret we didnt stay longer!

Good, safe place on US 1 close to everything. Only thing lacking is coffee/tea in the lobby. Breakfast was nice, could use some better fruit selection other than cellophane-wrapped apples and green bananas. Good, clean area with good service people. Thanks!

Not bad, but ...! Non-smoking rooms, but on the floor someone smoked in the room. In the neighboring rooms dogs whined. We got a room on the second floor, and a child ran all the time over us. You could think and to place family with the children on the lower floors.

Great Reviews because it's a great place!! Upgrading rooms shower was brand new. Place is like a mini Hilton but with a homey feel. Not that sterile Hilton hotel feel. Nor the insane Hilton price. For what? A mint on your pillow?? Skip the mint, save big bucks and you will not be disappointed.

I enjoyed my stay, beautiful area great restaurants on the water. Good prices good sight seeing. The Best Western is very clean, neat comfortable beds. Courteous front desk and the staff in other areas very professional.

Every year I stay at this hotel for 1 week, however, due to a family death, I needed to make a 2nd visit this year. There was NO question as to where to stay. I called the Manager Danielle Batton and she was extremely understanding & helpful. I recommend her, the entire staff (including Tom & Richie) and this hotel 1,000%.

Don't blink, or you may miss this outstanding hotel on Rt. 1 in Sebastian. It's not up-front visible, and you do have to make a strange uphill turn to get in, but once you're there you'll enjoy your stay. Rooms have been thoroughly remodeled, beds are comfortable and it's quiet too. WiFi and gym are excellent, but the BIG plus is the breakfast. Waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, toast, cereals, fruit, yogurt, juices, milk and yes, even chocolate milk. Friendly staff, clean rooms and property round out this review. Well worth the stay!

Our stay at the Best Western Plus Sebastian was a pleasant experience. It was clean, staff was friendly and housekeeping kept everything in order. The only drawback is that there is a train that comes right by the west side of the hotel. Other than that, enjoyed our stay.

This place was easy to find. I found it on google maps and it also listed the rate so when calling and making reservations it was quick and easy and the price was right so I ordered two rooms. It was easy access to everything. We even had dinner at the sister property and was good. Will return again! We also brought friends for the first time too. They love it!

When I booked the hotel I was expecting more of a budget type hotel because the rates were so reasonable I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. My room was clean, quiet, convenient and the AC worked well. The front desk staff was courteous, friendly and accommodating. I will stay there when working in the area again.

Clean, bright and modern hotel, great staff, breakfast, amenities etc. Close to Vero beach, the inlet and shops. If you're wanting a beach, quiet relaxing break this is the hotel ! Lots of things to do a short car ride away.

Hotel has been nicely remodeled. We stayed in a suite and it was very spacious. Employees were very friendly. Our reason for staying was we were having work done inside our home and the power was going to be off so that's why we stayed here.

This is a very clean, guest oriented hotel. I've stay here twice in the last three times. I would definitely stay here again. When we had to come down for my dad, my brother stay here and recommended to my sister and I. We picked this place again when we had to come a second time. Our last visit, all the family stayed here. Worth the price.

Recommend Best Western Sabastian 100%. The rooms are large, free internet and breakfast included. Very friendly & helpful staff. The location is convenient to shops, Vero, Melbourne & Orlando Airports.

I had no problems during my stay here. It was nice to be on the east side of building that you could walk down the stairs and get out easily and have access to the pool, the laundries, and the fitness center. Use a fitness center on the treadmill was very nice, but if you're very tall you may hit the roof. They had two treadmills a weight bench there's some kind of a Peddling machine. The morning breakfast or a cava consists of basically eggs sausage and some cereal and bread's. One of the days the juice dispenser was broken. The room itself is pretty comfortable the bed is slightly harder than I would like. The shower is rather tight if you're a big person. The close captioning did not seem to work on my room TV. The nice thing about this hotel is location to just about everything and Sebastian. It is literally five minutes from the hospital in about 20 to 25 minutes from Melbourne airport. Very easy to get around this area. I wouldn't mind staying here again. .

The room was spacious and clean. Towels a bit dingy considering the hotel is rather new. Nice breakfast area and selection. Much better than in room coffee. Television easy to figure out and WIFI connection was fine too.

This hotel is a pleasure to stay in. The bed is comfortable, the staff are a joy to interact with and everything is clean and neat. The breakfast was well supplied and very good. Hot food was hot and tasty, cold food was fresh and tasty.

My son and I are driving across the south from Texas. We had business in Malabar, so elected to stay here. We took a 2 queen bed standard as the only ADA Handicaped room was a king. The room was OK, but not the best by BEST WESTERN standards.

Had a issue at check in when we found someone already staying in our scheduled king suite, Dontae tried to find us the best solution. However we were downgraded to a regular room with two queens for the two nights. Our stay was discounted at least, but it was a smaller room than what we wanted. One room had a loud snorer that could be heard through the walls. And thee other room next to us had a screaming child at 2 am in the morning. Neither one of these things were the hotels fault, but I think a suite size room would of been quieter. But the Breakfast and the Breakfast Lady was the best. If we visit this area again, we will definitely stay here again!

This hotel has been renovated and is clean and modern, but not overly so. Rooms size was good with desk and chair, bathroom updated providing hair blower and other necessities. Draperies completely block out light with rods that were very easy to use. TV had sufficient channels and hung on the wall. All staff were pleasant and eager to please. You may want to bring your own pillow unless you like soft mushy ones!

Beautiful hotel in Sebastian,FL. Nice suites that are very clean and comfortable. I was happy that the place is pet friendly, and still immaculately clean. The staff was great. The pool looked nice even though I didn't use it. Good value for the money.

If you value your safety, do not, I repeat, do not stay here!!! I called the front desk the morning of my check out and requested to extend my check out to 11:45am (check out is 11:00am). Reception person stated that would be no problem at all. While in shower at 11:15am, I heard someone trying to access my room (I assumed it was housekeeping) and if it were not for the door latch she would have busted right into my room. The issue here was that the dead bolt was locked and the ‘do not disturb' sign was on the door. NOT ONLY DID SHE ATTEMPT ACCESS TO MY ROOM ONCE BUT TRIED AGAIN 5 MINUTES LATER!! Having the dead bolt being locked apparently does nothing as key just overrides it and I know this for sure as I relocked it after the first time she tried to break in. Housekeeping will ignore the ‘do not disturb' sign as well. I had to call front desk to have them tell them to quit trying to break into my room (how sad is that??). The hotel is run by Tweedledee and Tweedledum as when I checked into hotel I asked if the room assigned was next to elevator, as I preferred room as far from elevator as possible and she said that it wasn't. So I took elevator….took a right and my room was first one on the right. Even if she didn't know where the room was she didn't even bother to verify (simple laziness). Room was ok, it was clean but can feel the springs in the bed. Rate at $149/nt was simply a joke to have to be concerned about your safety and to sleep in a crappy bed.

We have stayed at this Best Western several times through the year, we are having a house built in the area so we have to keep coming to the area. We have never been dissatisfied during any one of our stays, everyone is always very friendly and helpful.

Was hesitant to book here. Seemed like a higher price for what you get. Glad we stayed here though. The rooms were very nice and the staff, especially Michelle, were very nice! Michelle did a great job with breakfast on Thursday morning for us. The breakfast quality was superior to what the norm is. This is also very close to th ocean and within walking distance to Earl's Hideaway and many good restaurants like Squid Lips. I would stay here again for sure.

I had to stay over because of work. Hotel was in easy access and the staff were very helpful from check-in to checkout. Had a nice time at the sister motel resturant and lounge with the complementary cards that i received at checkin.Loved the breakfast. Will stay again next time I am in town.

Large, comfortable room (King suite). Quiet. Good bed. Breakfast was the standard for this type of hotel - juice, coffee, cereal, eggs, sausage/bacon, waffle machine - nothing exceptional but adequate. Not on the water, but convenient for beach and parks. Only complaint was cleanliness of some aspects of room - dirty floor in entry and unclean table surfaces.

We decided to come to town a night earlier than planned for a wedding and the place we were staying on Saturday was booked Friday so we walked in to the Best Western and asked if they had any rooms available and Dontae was so friendly and knowledgeable while checking us in. We enjoyed our stay and it was nice breakfast was included. We should have stayed here both nights. Instead of Captain Harims across the street which was more expensive and not worth it. That stay made us really wish we had booked both nights at the Best Western!

The hotel has been recently updated and has nice decor. The front desk staff are very hospitable and helpful. Unfortunately, our newly remodeled room was extremely musty. The air conditioner blew stale air the entire night. The bathroom smelled moldy. It was difficult to sleep in the room due to the poor air quality.

We stayed here one night after landing late afternoon in Orlando and heading south along the east coast. It was just the right distance from Orlando to give us a nice head start the next day. The hotel was clean, the rooms very big (had a king suite), and the staff friendly. Breakfast is included, it is filling and very standard for these kinds of hotels, nothing gourmet unfortunately. The hotel is conveniently located on Highway 1, very easy to get to when driving south.

They are trying to charge me an additional charge on my credit card three days after I checked out. When I called, the receptionist stated the additional charge is for stained linen. BS. You must have me mixed up with someone else. And for a hotel to charge for stained linen is the first I have ever heard of this being a potential charge. When I checked in, yes they do inform you about smoking in the room and potential charges, but nothing about stained linen.The elevator was out, so I had to use the stairs. Not a problem for me, but for say an elderly person - this could be a problem.The breakfast is ho-hum. Nothing to brag about, but it is edible.Overall, I would only use this hotel to shower and sleep - that is it.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was pet friendly so we were nervous but the hotel was spotless and you wouldn't have even known it was a pet friendly hotel. The beds and pillows were so comfy! The breakfast was good. It had all you could want.. French toast, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, juices, cereals, all kinds of breads and topping. It was a great stay! We will be back for sure!

The air conditioner in our house broke down and we needed a place to stay, Danielle, Melissa (I know I'm spelling that wrong and I'm sorry) and Alexis were very personable, sweet and accommodating! They took us right in and even put us in a room that was approximately 20 steps to the pool! We couldn't have asked for a better ending to a stressful and very hot morning and early afternoon... thank you, girls!

Room smelled. Did not know the hotel was pet friendly. Had to change rooms after 1 day. Had to call desk to get TV and microwave to working. Poop in toilet. Something biting wife during night leaving little welts. Probably fleas. This was the second room we had.

This Best Western is now owned by Captain Hiram's Resort and was recently updated. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. All the staff members were pleasant and helpful. We loved the plush bath towels. The breakfast buffet was typical hotel fair. One of the benefits of Capt. Hiram's ownership was two free drinks at any of the resort's restaurants or bars, a nice bonus!

The young man who checked us in was so nice and informative. The room that we were given is very clean and nice. This property is nice and is updated. The halls are quiet. We had 2 TVs in our room a nice large bath, microwave, refrigerator.

We were in Sebastian for a wedding. Groom told us to stay here. We booked online a couple of months ago. I was concerned because there were a few negative reviews. We didn't find any of them to be true for us. Room was nice, clean, good mattresses and pillows. Room included a free breakfast. No good. Food was below average. Pool was nice, clean. The price was good even without the breakfast.

It's ok. The only other place we could have stayed close by is a resort that had a lot of loud music when we tried staying there the last time we needed to be close by to this area for a party. Best Western Plus is definitely a step above the regular Best Westerns, but not quite up to the Hampton Inn standard that is our usual "go to". Room was clean enough and comfortable. We were only here to sleep 8 hours, use the gym for a half hour and get a quick bite before returning home. Breakfast had adequate choices, scrambled eggs with hot sauce for me, instant oatmeal for my wife. Coffee, surprisingly was not good. How hard is it not to make great coffee everywhere we go these days? Even though we give it an average rating we would probably stay here again as long as the rate was very good. $20 more and we'll stay in Vero or Melbourne and drive a little further to the party.

Could have been better, the room was so dirty when we checked in that the lady that checked us in had to come up herself and vacuum and clean up. They did comp us some of the money from our stay but the overall experience was less than desirable. renovations had the third floor blocked off and they started work early in the morning so sleeping in was not an option.

Great Place; great staff.; knowable about the arae in general and are willing to call for a cab and exceed what higher end hotels will do for customers. ..... easy early check in. Close to Captain Hiram's; within walking distance. Rooms have been updated and the mattresses do not feel like a bazillion people have slept on them. In room safe is a plus with no charge. I think the suite is a better value with 2 Queens and a pull-out sleeper sofa.

Re-habbed rooms and interior make this look very good. Unfortunately, housekeeping is poor. My room was without shampoo, and when I asked at the desk I was told there was none in the hotel! Towels are not hung up, but are placed under the sink. My bed was not made, just had the top sheet and covers thrown up over the pillow. The hallway was not swept or vacuumed for the two nights I stayed, and cereal was on the carpet the entire time. The stairwells were just plain dirty with cereal, empty creamer containers, and trash. The walls are so thin I heard people urinating in the rooms around me. All of that said, the front desk and breakfast lady were all very pleasant. Prices are much higher since Capt Hiram's bought the place, and the price does not match the value.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights and it was wonderful! Checking in and out was a breeze, the room was clean and updated, bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent! Definitely will be coming back!

Third stay at this hotel. It's in a great location; close to shopping, restaurants, bars, local life, beaches and water activities. Sebastian, FL is a pretty laid back area with a lot to do. This hotel is clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff has always been friendly and professional. The breakfast is good. The rooms are pretty nice and the bed is comfortable. Price is reasonable.

Hotel rooms have been completely redone. Have stayed here past several years. Best stay yet. The rooms are excellent. They were outdated, but now they are very nice and clean. All the staff was very friendly and attentive.

I've been in a few Best Westerns and this one may be the best. The room seemed either brand new or newly renovated with a clean modern appeal. Bathroom the same. Free breakfast was excellent with friendly staff. Wifi worked smoothly. Conveniently located.

What wonderful people! We came in for a wedding. When I say we came in, it was more like an invasion! We took up over 15 rooms and had quite a number of little ones. The staff was very accommodating. They found us a common room to get together in. The breakfast was great! They keep it piled up and hot. Everyone was very friendly. Thank you very much.

I highly recommend the Best Western Plus in Sebastian. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and honest. The breakfast served every morning was very good. The French toast was as good as home. Well lit parking lot.

This hotel was just upgraded but the work had some incomplete issues and our Door was influenced by wet paint not locking or closing easily. It was a worry while we were gone. This location did not offer any transportation. Gold cart shuttles as in St Augustine would have been above & beyond.

Nice refurbished room but the staff needs to be more attentive. We reserved a suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch and they gave us a king room. The key did not work. The breakfast was depleted by 8:30.

Just when I was starting to give up on Best Western hotels, I came across this hidden gem while trying to liquidate my BW travel points. Room was completely remodeled with a jacuzzi and Dontae at the front desk provided us with amazing customer service. Could say plenty more positive things about this property and will certainly return in the future. Additionally, be sure to check out everything Capt. Hiram's Resort has to offer for dining/nightlife...only a 1/4 mike if that across the street!

I stayed here with my son's soccer team so it was not by choice. We arrived super early (at least for a check-in) and were told that the room would need to be cleaned up - after a short while they walked us to the breakfast area where we could watch TV and the staff brought the kids coloring books. We had to go to the first game and while there the staff called me to advise our room was ready. Breakfast was good (for free bfast) and the staff was very caring and went the extra mile make everyone happy. Only reason I don't give this "excellent" is because I found the smoking area right at the entrance of the lobby a deterrent for future visits - but I realize that's probably just me.

For us, a good hotel in a location that worked for us. The views and immediate area is not great but the hotel itself is fine. The staff was friendly and helpful. To go for a walk is a little challenging but once across the road it is a very nice stroll.

Rooms were just renovated, very clean. However, safe, and microwave didn't work. Water pressure was bad in the shower. They didn't give us toiletries, forgot wash cloths. Maintenance never came after being reported to front desk. Housekeeping never cleaned up our room on second day. Everyone was extremely nice, the buffet breakfast was good. The room was quiet from noise. The problems may be due to just finishing up the renovations.

The newly renovated room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. The location was convenient and easily accessible. The price was reasonable for the room and location. We will stay there again.

First the two bedroom suite is great. The added bonus of three tv's is fabulous. However, right from the get go the toilet had a problem. We advised the front desk as We left immediately upon check-in to go eat. It was fixed by the time we returned. The missing items were: tissues; a "do not disturb" sign; paper towels ( for the kitchen) and a hair dryer. We were in this hotel in July, as well, and found the same dirty elevator. New personnel maning the breakfast area. She seemed a little lost. Believe this was due to lack of training. We couldn't wait any longer for eggs, but obviously we were not going to starve. And, this hotel is next to the railroad tracks...expect trains running thru the night

Danielle was extremely helpful in setting up my 89 yr old mother so she was located close to my room and she helped my brother get room on a spur of the moment request. Shannon in the breakfast room was very sweet and helpful when I brought my mother down for breakfast each morning. I don't remember everyone's name but I thank them all for their helpfulness and friendliness even the construction workers during the renovations.

The hotel is being renovated and it looks fantastic!!! The bed is so comfortable! The bathroom is wonderful. We have been staying at this hotel for years and we are so happy that it is being renovated. Can't wait for my next trip down to Sebastian!

The property was under construction of a full remodel when we stayed last weekend. The room that we stayed in had been recently remodeled and was very nice. One of the highest quality rooms of any Best Western Property we have stayed at. The breakfast area had quite a bit of seating and the breakfast offerings we're about average including scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles, pastries, yogurt etc etc. All the employees were friendly and helpful. I have no complaints and would not hesitate to stay again.

Hotel was sold to a new owner (Cap't Hirams LLC). Rooms are being renovated and I actually was the first person to stay in one of them on the 3rd floor. Bathroom has modern look to it and overall they made a good choice of colors and décor.

Surrounded by Route 1, train tracks and a car care business, I wasn't too sure about our choice of hotel. That said, the room was very large and clean..and surprisingly quiet. You could barely hear the train when it went by. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast selections were plentiful but not very hot. They offer coffee and tea in the lobby but it was usually cold. There was a microwave, good size fridge and a small coffee pot in the room. The room had 2 good sized flat screen TVs. A partial wall separated the bedroom area from the sitting area. For the price, it was a great value and you are in the middle of the action...restaurants, shopping and museums right on route 1. Overall, not bad for the price.

the accommodations in the double queen suite were very spacious, clean and quiet. there is a rail line behind the hotel (about 200') and it was very quiet in the room. Excellent construction. the staff, from front desk to dining and room staff worked together. Great team, they talked together to help our stay be better even though the hotel was going through a remodeling.

Negatives - Room on arrival was quite 'smelly' ( stagnant smoke ) pool was very uninviting ( on a main road and needed some cleaning -didn't see anyone using it ). Positives - good breakfast, lovely staff and adequate spacious room - comfortable. Ideal stop off for fishing trips, 20 minutes drive to beautiful Vero Beach area.

My first time staying in a best western. This is the only chain of hotels in this area unless you go to Vero Beach 20 min I have to say I was impressed Its not a hilton but clean comfy staff great parking easy Very close to everything River is down the street. Or to go to Atlantic jump on 510 over bridge your there 10 min We went to the pier at state park For 8.00 car load and theres the Indian River or Atlantic Ocean Beautiful fishing town! Gorgeous I will stay here again and the price was very affordable

This hotel was in the perfect location in relation to where we were going. Although nice it could use some sprucing up. Many coupons were given for surrounding attractions that made the trip a little more enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool.

Great hotel !! good location, close to restaurants and about 20 minute drive to Sebastian Inlet park. Clean and spacious rooms, helpful and courteous staff. good breakfast also. Had our dog with us and had a large pet friendly room.

Accuracy of bill on checkout. Used my points 21,000 for a free night at checkout and was charged due to it takes 24,000 at this location. Not boater friendly because all the plug ins to charge boat batteries have been removed

I have done a lot of traveling and stayed in a lot of hotels/motels. This stay was by far the best. The staff did an excellent job taking care of my wife and I during our stay. The breakfast was great and had a great variety of food. We will stay there again.

Checked into 3 rooms with 10 family and friends. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms clean and comfortable. Even though there were signs that there was construction there was no evidence of it with either noise or debris. Really nice stay overall. Walking distance to the local attractions!

We drove in after a long day of driving and was greeted by a gal named Danielle. She was extremely helpful in finding local eateries and interesting things for us to do during our stay. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the rooms were spic and span. The breakfast was great. Next time in Sebastian, this is my go to place to stay.

We always stay at this Best Western when we are in Sebastian. We always enjoy our stay and consider this a veery good value. The staff and hotel are very good and the location is very convenient. What else do you want me to say?

The hotel was clean, quiet and in a convenient location near shopping, restaurants and highway access. I also has a nice breakfast buffet and coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the lobby. The room also had a microwave and refrigerator. They also have a business center which was handy for printing travel documents.

We were told there was only one room left when we called to make the reservation and the because it was a jacuzzi room, it would be a higher rate. When we arrived, we found out they had other rooms available, but would not switch our room for the lower rate. The breakfast was undesirable and the same each morning. We had problems with items in our room that were not rectified and caused us to miss appointments with other people and we lost an entire night of our weekend get-a-way. At check-out, they should have given us a free stay for that and only took $40 off the bill which should not have been that high to begin with, had they switched us to a cheaper room at check-in like they should have. My wife and I were not happy with the entire stay.

My husband and I stay here quite often. It is close to Captain Hiram's and Earl's Hideaway. The rooms are always clean and the beds are very comfy.Plus there is a free hot breakfast, which makes the price of the hotel even more affordable.

First started out at Hiram's across the street where I stayed in a room on the harbor where the key to the door would not work, the internet was down, and the channel selector on the TV remote did not work. Switched to the best western across the street which was also owned by Hiram's and everything was normal for a best western. However, there is an active railroad behind the motel that is not visible which might bother you if trains keep you up at night.

On our way to Miami, we booked online. I was really looking to the Best Western website to book but found out when we arrived that it was booked via Expedia. The room was clean, the bed was good. Breakfast was basic quality: eggs and sausage, toppings were advertised but not there. No cheese or ham. Good choice of cereals, yoghurt and milk. Waffle dough much to heavy, 1 waffle weighted almost 1lb. Real waffles have to be light and crispy, not a brick on your stomach. Staff was friendly but the hotel did not have adapters to plug in for foreign devices.

Nice place, friendly staff, bed and bathroom acceptable (I don't like high pillows and a spring mattress), breakfast as usual, clean, not too loud, so not too bad, however the price is a little bit too high.

Room was dirty and old. There was hair in the shower which probably means that it was never cleaned from the previous guest. There wasn't any body soap. Just 1 bar of hand soap which i also needed to shower with. The TV had bad reception and it was filthy. The desk was dirty and had not been cleaned before I arrived. It only got a few channels. Bad experience all around. It looked like they made the bed and restocked towels and that was it. Also forgot that when I grabbed a tissue two more fell out and the box was empty.

The hotel was very clean and bright...They also give military discount..and they give you free drink vouchers for Captain Hirams. The free breakfast was very good. The choice of food was plentiful and very fresh.

we were a bit aprehensive of booking with best western as our previous experiences were not that great. This turned out to be a winner by all means. The location the cleanliness the breakfast and the parking !!!!!!! all exceptionall. We will write it as it is good or bad. We brought our sea doos and I was worried about where I was going to park them. After checking in I noticed that all the spaces in the back where striped for vehicles with trailers what an awesome surprise. Thank you to this hotel for thinking outside the box on this one. Hotel did not offer good value. Rate was far higher than hotels in Vero Beach at a comparable star rating. Breakfast was mediocre at best. I would not recommend staying there for over $100/night. Room was on the small size.

Nicely furnished and quiet. Second floor hallway and room smelled stale, exhaust fan in bathroom sounded like a B52. If you left the light off I could use the light outside the bathroom door, but that light was not working. These problems should have been addressed, $159 a night in March in Sebastian the room was just not up to snuff. Breakfast was nice, quite adequate.

I do a lot of research when I travel to find the best hotels and was happy to find good reviews with this hotel as there is not a lot to choose from in this area. This trip was to be with family in a difficult time in our lives and I really needed everything to be just right. From the moment I called the hotel and the dozen other times I called to make changes or requests, everyone was amazing. Special thanks to Carissa and the manager Ritchie. They absolutely went above and beyond for me. All of the staff was extremely friendly. The hotel is clean and beautiful. Pool was warm and clean. We stayed in the two bedroom suite. King in one, two queens in the other. Plus living room with sofa bed, and full kitchen. The pictures do no justice. This suite is huge. Our room was cleaned daily. Not just fresh towels, but vacuuming, trash, and adding other kitchen and bathroom needs. Ann and Gloria thank you! Breakfast has something for everyone and is refreshed constantly. Eggs, sausage, bacon, waffle maker, cereals, bagels, juices, and more. Shannon was the server all the days we stayed. She was friendly and welcomed every one that arrived for breakfast. Thank you Shannon! Great place to stay! Will definitely return!

This is a wonderful BW property I stay exclusively at BW because of places this clean kind employees and great service we are here for a vacation and there are many choices of places to stay we are glad we chose this hotel oh and the pool was perfect

I have stayed here in the past at least two other times and every visit gets better it's a very nice Hotel Monterey furniture clean and well-maintained the only thing is that the price per night is a little high but I guess that's what you get for whenever you're near a resort which I guess is fine I would definitely come back and recommend the people that told me to stay here to put up anybody else that comes in the area

I have stayed at this place a few months before and it has not changed. The seemingly simple things are overlooked. Lamps unplugged or literally falling a part. No do not disturb signs, bathroom sink drain very sluggish. A room phone that did not work. The desk clerk gave me the same story as last time, the repair person is coming "today" with a part. "Today" of course never happened, the phone still doesn't work months later. Seems to me this should have been made clear to me, and others, at check in time. Yes, most people have cell phones, but in an emergency the cell phone may not be readily available. The posted pool hours seem to change on a daily basis, so you never know when it will open in the mornings. Probably the two biggest negative hits are the 45 degree entrance/exit driveway which is so step it bottoms out most vehicles - the scars in the road surface attest to this. It also intersects with a blind driveway. The railroad mainline which runs directly behind the property is a huge distractor. Unfortunately Sebastian is a small backwater village that thinks it is a metro area and that attitude is reflected in this motel. If there would have been other accommodations available, I would have selected them. As I write this, I am listening to a small dog barking and scratching on a door down the hall, the barking was on and off all night.

This hotel had recently suffered hurricane damage and in fact this was the first day it had reopened. The staff was wonderful! They did everything they could to make sure we had a pleasant, enjoyable visit! If they were this good under these conditions, they would have to be beyond the scale on a normal day! Thanks guys

having used their meeting rooms in the past for business meetings… We decided to have my father-in-law's 75th birthday party at the best Western. The manager, Richie, was extremely helpful in helping us make this A very special birthday celebration. he helped us coordinate music, set up the room, and was kind enough to even bring his own sound system from home to help us. Thanks to him and the wonderful facility… The 75th birthday party with the Harley Davidson theme was a huge success! Thanks again Richie for all your help! You are awesome!

I booked this hotel a few days before the hurricane hit, thinking I could score some treasure at the beach in the aftermath of the storm. I booked the hotel for Saturday seeing the storm hit on Thursday into Friday. I woke up at 3:30 in the morning and drove 4 hours to get to Sebastian, did my thing at the beach and saw it was too early to check-in. So i went and got lunch and diddled around a bit until around 1pm, when I thought maybe I could get in early. I got to the hotel and there were signs on the doors saying closed. Immediately, I thought to myself, "Are you kidding me?". All the stores I saw were open, there was plenty of traffic around. Why was I not notified by phone? email?, nothing. I called the hotel and the lines were dead. You would think if it was the phone system being down, someone could just call corporate and they could take care of the emails or letting people know. I called the customer service line and they said they had no record of the hotel being closed, yet they also could not get in touch with anyone. So I had to get back into my car and drive another 4 hours home. Corporate said they could see if they could place me at another one of their hotels nearby, but I was not up on those hotel's reviews, nor did I want to drive to another one of their hotels to only find it "closed". I had stayed here once before and it was a decent place, but never again.

During the recent hurricane we needed a room fast, we had a dog and cat, most hotels would say "NO". The staff went out of their way for us. The staff could not have been more accommodating especially the General Manger (I think his name was Jason, sorry if that is wrong). Also the clerks Gigi and Nicole were so great. The housekeeping staff was also very accommodating. The room was great and the beds were so comfortable. This was a natural disaster and the staff was working around the clock and they were so great.

The hotel was chosen because it is a Best Western and I've liked other Best Westerns that I've stayed in, plus it was centrally located to where my relatives live. I chose a suite to give me and my parents a little more space. The included breakfast was convenient and had quite a selection and was good. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly.

My husband and I recently stayed four nights at the Best Western in Sebastian Florida. Our room was large, spacious and very clean. The bedroom and living room were separated by a partial wall. There was also a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and full size sofa. The bathroom had a large vanity top which made it easy for us to put out our toiletries without living out of our overnight bag which happens quit frequently at hotels . There was an odd closet right inside the door on the right which was for any hanging clothes and also had a safe which was large enough for a full size laptop. Instead of a closet door, there was a brown curtain that hung 10 inches too long on the floor (they should take the time to hem it if it's going to be permanent). Some of the lighting was too dim as they seem to use a lot of “green technology “. Not that it's a deal breaker but all the lighting should be the same type of light (especially if it's in the same room). The morning breakfast was adequate and the server was pleasant and helpful to any of our needs. They serve waffles, scrambled eggs and bacon, toast, juices, yogurt, coffee etc. Since my in-laws are now residents, we will definitely stay here again when visiting.

Very nice hotel, clean and quiet, felt very comfortable as soon as we walked into the door, and GiGi was very pleasant at the front desk. Nice to have a breakfast in the morning before we checked out. The hotel was close to our family that we came to visit. Went across the street to Captain H restaurant to have lunch and a drink. Would stay there again.

I hadn't stayed at a hotel for a long while so I may be a bit out of touch with what some of these hotels offer. And although I know they are not all the same, Best Western is pretty cool. I like the fact that they had everything you could possibly need. Iron & board, blow dryer, and the mini fridge was a real shock. Lol But the best part of it all was the Complimentary Breakfast. I loved it!!

The breakfast was better than most Best Westerns. The rooms were great and we had a lovely time in the area. All of the staff were friendly and willing to go above and beyond! We absolutely loved it! We strongly recommend it to folks traveling and looking for a quite get away. The restaurants were with in walking distance and the bars with in stumbling.

From the moment you walk into the lobby of this hotel you feel like your at your second home. The staff excellent, the rooms perfectly clean. Having the Sebastian inlet right across the street, fabulous. So much to do in this quaint little area. The perfect little hideaway. Shhh don't tell everyone. Want to keep it a secret....

We had to go to Vero Beach for a Moose function and chose this hotel for the close proximity. The staff was wonderful, I needed a room on the first floor and they accommodated us. We were just caddycorner to the breakfast area which was so close. Even though we were near the breakfast we did not hear any noise. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed our overnight stay.

A group of 34 single friends from Ft Myers, FL did an overnight trip to Sebastian in June 2016. Robin Miller, Sales Manager, for the BW Plus and Captain Hirams Resort provided us with wonderful accommodations. The hotel was clean, staff professional and was an ideal location for visiting the Treasure Museums in the area. Dinner at Captain Hirams Blackfins Restaurant was magnificent! One waitress handled our entire party and not only were all the meals served correctly, the food was hot and delicious. No complaints from 34 people is amazing! We topped off our evening with a few dances at Capt Hirams Sandbar. On Sunday morning we all had a very good hot breakfast at the hotel before starting off to our next treasure spot. I definitely would give both the hotel and restaurant high marks for making our weekend getaway memorable.

Poor information the hotel halls were under construction no one told us about it, and we were placed in the middle on the mess. Rooms are old and dated and in need of a good cleaning Not worth the money we paid

Stayed one night in the suite with a hot tub. Had a great experience from all the staff from checking in to checking out. Very pleasantly greeted and asked if we needed help with out luggage. They politely explained where everything was and asked if we needed anything before we went to our room. I'd recommend it to anyone and will stay there again.

This hotel has a friendly staff and the rooms are clean. The renovations are going. smoothly without many disruptions to the guests. We are staying again in September. The breakfast was great and the central location in Sebastian made it very convenient to go anywhere.

My wife and I stay at this hotel frequently as my wife works in the area a couple days a week. It has been a few years now since we started coming to the hotel and it has always been a pleasant experience. It is clean and inviting with great staff. The new day manager Chrissy goes out of her way to make sure the visitors are taken care of and has made great improvements to the breakfast. The eggs and fresh fruit are delicious!

My husband and I chose this hotel to visit family near by. The pool was clean and relaxing. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is being renovated so you will see missing baseboards in the hall, but overall everything is neat and clean. We even got two free drinks at the Sandbar across the street at check in. The only issue was a barking dog in the room below us, but not to disturbing. We will return

We had a pleasant stay, we were came to Sebastian for the 4th of July weekend to do some fishing at Sebastian Inlet State Park, explore the area and relax. We found the Best Western Sebastian to be the best option among very few hotels in the area it was a little over 20+ min from the park since there really weren't any other hotels down Hwy A1A. The complementary breakfast we found to be pretty good actually despite a few bad reviews we had read earlier, you pretty much get what you pay for if you want a 5 star breakfast then you should go to a 5 star hotel. Overall we had a pretty good experience.

We were traveling with friends to enjoy the beautiful Sebastian area and visit the museums in the area dedicated to Treasure Hunting. We also enjoyed the restaurants In the area, many choices. Loved that this hotel was so centrally located to all we wanted.

Stayed here 2 nites for a funeral. hotel was fairly clean. Breakfast was disappointing ...no fresh fruit .they offered those packaged fruit cups. Standard waffle machine scrambled eggs both days with sausage or bacon . What I remember most was that I was unsure where the local catholic church was..I asked the front desk gal and she didn't know either ...no offer to look it up, either. It turns out the Catholic Church was less than a mile down on the same road as the hotel ! PS pillows are hard, towels poor quality and water pressure could have been better

Totally overhaul the hotel. It is dated. Bathroom fans roar light a jet engine. Furniture is absolutely uncomfortable. Also TV service and internet quality is sparse. This hotel shows all the signs that the owner is more interested in profits than offering a good experience for the customers. The only bright spot are the employees. The desk staff are very professional. We will not return.

Nice place, but didn't realize they allow dogs. Saw two large dogs in one room. Might hesitate staying there again, if dogs are allowed in any room and not designated rooms. Looks like they are remodeling so place will be even nicer, hopefully the price remains the same

Everything seemed to go wrong. Two rooms were reserved and we had no internet or phone for 3 days, the water pressure in the shower was non-existent, the stopper in the basin came out and was not repaired after we told them, and the cleaning lady didn't clean my son's room which was empty all day. As for our room, soap was not replaced and there was paper under our bed from an earlier guest.

The hotel is in the process of a face lift and the construction was not an issue. The staff tried but there was a lack of communication within the staff, our key cards were voided at one point due to the lack of communication. The cleaning staff forgot to leave key items in the room and some of the other guests were extremely loud at all hours of the night. We were in Florida due to death in the family so what might normally be overlooked and tolerated was not on this trip. The buffet was good, fresh and well kept, most of the staff tried hard but some did not. All in all I would give this hotel another shot and would stay again to see if they get it right.

A great place to stay if Captain Hirams is full. The hotel is located across the street from the Indian River. They partnership with Captain Hirams so in turn they give you two free drink vouchers for the Sandbar. You can walk to numerous places in just minutes to have a great time.

Stayed in the hotel for a soccer tournament recently. Pros: Staff very gracious and service-oriented. Suite was very spacious, clean, and beds comfortable. It could sleep 6 if 2 are willing to sleep on the pull-out couch in the living room area. Pool was enjoyable. Has great parking available for those who are puling a boat. Only Negatives: smelled a little of smoke in the hallway but nonsmoking room was okay, lobby is relatively small. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the price was right for the size of rooms and the convenient access to our event.

I have stayed at this resort once or twice yearly for the last nine years, as Sebastian is the home of Velocity Aircraft and my plane gets its annual inspection at the factory. Over the years I watched this hotel slowly deteriorate, such that I planned to stay at Capt Hiram's this year. However, Capt Hiram bought this Best Western a few months ago, so I thought I would try one more time. Clearly the hotel lobby and dining area have been cleaned up as compared to the last time I stayed. The check in and check out were easy and the people at the desk were friendly and professional in both action and appearance. The breakfast was pretty standard, while the server was very friendly. The negative, which was an old problem and one of the reasons I considered staying elsewhere, was cleanliness. One large, black hair that was very obvious against the white soap tray in the shower was missed by the housekeeper. The pillows were all very hard--there was not option of a feather pillow. So, while the staff I interacted with would have earned this a "very good" or even an "excellent," the housekeeper and the pillows pulled it down to an "average."

I recently stayed at the Best Western in Sebastian Florida with my husband and 11 year old son. We were visiting family in the area. I appreciated the use of the fitness room, although the equipment is limited, it did have a treadmill which served my purpose. We did enjoy the outdoor pool to cool off in on the hot days. The breakfast was fairly typical of a hotel, but offered options that we enjoyed such as oatmeal and waffles. Overall, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very comfortable. We had a suite which had 3 beds, so we could each have our own if we wanted! We would stay here again.

Greeted and off to our room in no time. We really really liked our room. We had a in room Spa tub.Let me tell you it was very large. Not just a Jacuzzi tub. It was really nice. Room was huge! The big pillow filled king bed slept really well. We had the hot breakfast that is complimentary. Good enough. Lots of choices. Pool area is nice.We very much appreciated the refrigerator and microwave area.

We were on our way to Orlando, when a strong ice storm hitted us. We had to find a place to sleep. I was astonished with the excellent service the front desk - UNFORTUNATLY i forgot his name. But he was polite and very helpfull, showed us the room, fantastic. The next day, on my check out, I wanted to compliment this fantastic employe. Again, the manager and all the staff, awsome. Highly recommend

This place needs alot of improvements to be a PLUS. Breakfast is terrible. Tthe attendant has a big tip jar sitting on the breakfast buffet table with dollar bills hanging over the edge. Not very classy or appetizing. Besides why tip when she just stands there? The carpet in our room was filthy with stains. The desk chair dirty with stains. This place is not up to Best Western standards.

Because family was all gathering in the town, this was selected for a large block of rooms. When I called hotel direct, I was told that rate/block was not available, and ended up paying quite a bit more. glad it was only a one night stay; otherwise would have opted to relocate to a different hotel. I travel extensively and was very unimpressed with the facility, its amenities, and the comfort of the room.

Great Hotel next to Captain Hiram's, Sand Bar, Great Restaurant, great views of the sound. Great Entertainment on Saturday night. Everyone from the wedding stopped and had night caps. We planned on having breakfast before heading home.

Do not stay at the Sebastian Best Western. Horrible, snotty, inconsiderate crappy people work there!!!!!! The people on the phones turn you off before you even get there!! Absolutely the worst employees in the business! Do yourself a favor and stay ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!! Or go, maybe you like being treated badly - BW seems to enjoy giving customers a difficult time!

Excellent hotel. Our ball team parents stayed here for spring break and all I talked to were very pleased. Our only problem was the sheets were not changed when requested. Everything else was great! It's a bit pricey but considering where it is, competitive.

No pressure in shower. No drainage in sink. Not able to flush toilet had to use plunger. Staff has no regard for past guests. Never again Breakfast -- bacon swimming in grease -- oh yummy Staff made no attempt to move us, only suggested to send maintenance next day. We refused maintenance because no safe in room items didn't feel secure. Never again. We have been staying here for over 8 years twice a year never ever again. Better to go to Comfort Inn and Suites in Malabar or stay in Melbourne. Better hotels there

For the price this hotel was a excellent choice. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. The room was clean. The pool area offered tables to eat or watch the kids swim. The lobby was recently updated. The free breakfast was great and included hot items.

We thought for $149, we would get more. Reservation was messed up. Email address was, also, even though I had to call on the phone to straighten out credit card issues. Very poor communication, and high rate for average room & breakfast. One good comment is for breakfast worker that went out of her way.

Outstanding staff & property and very good location. Guest room , common areas including pool are very clean & up to date. The attitude of all the staff made me feel welcome & comfortable. Additionally; there are some very good eating establishments close by and reliable cab service in the area.

Front desk was great. Room was clean, right across the street from several seafood eateries and live music. Boat rentals and tour boat are also near by. We usually go to this area on weekends as there are bands playing at several places near by.

Reasonable price, clean rooms, tasty breakfast, friendly staff, easy to find, quiet. Easy to get to restaurants, shopping, the river, scenic drives, fishing rentals, the bridge to the barrier island to go the beaches, Can quickly go south to Vero Beach or north to Melbourne.

After sitting on I95 for three hours due to an accident we decided to take the first exit we came to. After reading the reviews this Best Western was the place we chose: We weren't disappointed! The front desk clerk was a sweetie, who quickly checked us in. Our room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. We couldn't have asked for any better!

Traveling on a cross-country pedal bike ride and this was the only hotel on the major websites... Probably because NOTHING else in town compares to it!!! This was a GREAT hotel! They had me booked in the jacuzzi room, which I did not request or pay any extra for! Their was a wedding party staying in the hotel and I gave the bride & groom my room in exchange for theirs... The hotel staff was great and very accommodating, I was traveling with multiple bikes, spares, and tools and they allowed me to store them in room and even offered to help get it there!

Although we live within 30 minutes of the hotel, we were attending an event at Captain Hiram's, so we decided to stay overnight. Hiram's was full, so we reserved a room at the Best Western Plus. The desk clerk was very friendly, the room was clean, updated, with a comfortable bed. No complaints whatsoever with the room or bathroom, everything met or exceeded our expectations. We had the breakfast in the morning. It was very adequate, with a nice selection of cereals, pastries, waffles, juices, coffee, etc. They also offered the usual scrambled eggs and bacon. The attendant taking care of the breakfast area was friendly and did an excellent job of keeping everything clean and full, offering to help with anything a guest couldn't find. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Sebastian, although the prices are higher than one would expect.

We have stayed here a few times. We go fishing at sebastian inlet, so we like to stay here. Not many hotel options on the beachfront. This place isn't fancy, but it doesn't have to be. Front desk staff pleasant and helpful. She made recommendations for local restaurants and activities.

We've lived and worked in Florida for 30 years, travelled all around our state but this is the first time we had an opportunity to visit the Sebastian, FL area. We came purposely to see a favorite band (Electric Tree Frogs) perform at Captain Hiram's...an AMAZING place that offers everything from several restaurant venues, to boating options to hotel accommodations. Sadly, Capt Hiram's was booked,so we stayed at the Best Western Plus, which we later learned is owned by Capt. Hiram's! This is the cleanest, friendliest Best Western in which we have ever stayed. All inside access...suites available (we had room 313 which is a Jacuzzi suite and HUGE)...and also provides free drink vouchers and discounts for Captain Hiram's. The free breakfast was OK,....much better than most, and the attendant was working so hard because the food is actually REAL.....like REAL bacon, although microwaved, and REAL scrambled eggs. The coffee was excellent...going to find out how to buy some online. Due to the fact that my family is both Marriott and Starwood Rewards members due to our business travel, we usually use our points for those hotels. But THIS BEST WESTERN ROCKS! And that is mainly due to the people who actually seem to like working there....Faith, John, Richie, "Z" ("Z" was THE BEST at customer service)...They gave us a new impression of Best Western. Clean, Friendly. THANKS!

excellent rooms. excellent staff. No problems with checking in. Clean facility. Large room. Enjoyed a relaxing soak in Jacuzzi tub. Met special requests with no issue. I will definitely be returning for a stay here.

There are not many options for hotels to stay in located in Sebastian, FL. This is what drives up the price of a very basic hotel, you could stay in anywhere for $20-40 cheaper. The hotel is very average and fine for a business trip or if you need to be in the area for family visits, but not really worth more than $79-$89 per night. It is more reasonably priced than Captain Hyram's across the street located on the river front. Also it is now affiliated with them, and your room provides discounts for boat rentals with Captain Hyram's, which could account for the price hike to $119.00 per night.

Our room had a terrible musty odor. We were put in a handicap accessible room even though we had reservations for over a month. That would have been OK if it weren't for the SMELL. When we asked for a different room we were told there weren't any more. It probably wouldn't have helped because we had several team members staying there and they said their rooms smelled bad too. I had a headache for 2 days.

Staff is friendly. Rooms and common areas were clean. Under bit of remodel, which is only enhancing future stays and was not an inconvenience at all. Two business trips a year to Sebastian, and this will always be my choice for overnight accommodations.

The hotel grounds are always clean. When you walk into the lobby the staff is warn welcoming accommodating and efficient. Lobby /front desk undergoing renovations which staff was proud to discuss. Clean clean clean hallways, elevator, room. Breakfast-nicely displayed, great variety

Within bicycling distance of most everything you'd want to do in Sebastian. Staff was very nice,room was clean. I'm very sensitive to noise and staff changed my room 3 times (graciously,without any hint of annoyance) due to noise issues. The rooms with issues were located by the elevator and the laundry chutes. You will not hear the train if you stay in rooms toward the street side of the hotel. Would stay here again.

This hotel was clean, and the staff was extremely nice, from the front desk, to the hotel cleaning staff and the breakfast host was on top of things each morning. We often travel with our pet and he, too was welcomed.

Hotel was very clean, pets accepted on first floor only---room was HUGE. 2 queen beds (I prefer king but not avail)--TV/desk & window in bedroom. Adjacent was Living Room area with Couch (sorry, didn't check if it was pullout...but probably)--comfy sofa chair and another TV. Bathroom was clean with plenty of counter space for all my junk! :) Beautiful room, more than enough space. Only odd thing was that the only reason we stayed at Best Western was Capt. Hiram's didn't have 2 nights available...but Capt. Hiram's didn't suggest we check with Best Western and they are obviously owned by the same people. We received 2 free drink tickets (don't get that when you stay at Hiram's)...and plenty of literature luring us across the street for food and fun activities (which we were there to participate in anyway---the Capt. Hiram's ParrotHead Memorial Day bash).

This hotel was selected by a host of a local soccer tournament. The hotel is currently being painted and some minor construction taking place inside. However the rooms were very nice clean and comfortable. Each morning complementary breakfast was served. this included the typical danishes cereal and even homemade waffles. The pool area is relatively small but directly across the street from a sister resort which has a great deal more of leisure activities

Recently re-modeled and close to waterfront and restaurants. It has a very courteous and competent staff. The rooms and facilities are clean & comfortable. Morning breakfast is cooked on site & served buffet style.
