Best Western Hotel El-Quartelejo Inn & Suites, Scott City

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly - especially the lady who worked in the evenings. They gave us adjoining rooms which was perfect for us. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. My grandkids enjoyed the pool both nights we were there. It could have been a little warmer for us older people but it wasn't as bad as other hotel pools we've been in. The hot tub was very nice. Breakfast was until 10 on the weekends but didn't have a lot of warm foods. There was still plenty to eat and was also very clean. We would definitely stay there again!

I was very pleased with the cleanliness and hospitality displayed by everyone on staff. The entire facility was very clean and quiet. This was a warm and inviting environment for me as a solo traveler.

Very nice welcome. Very clean. Breakfast room looked well cared for, but we had to leave before serving began. Easy highway access and Big R store next door was handy. Didn't recognize the new Best Western logo immediately. Will definitely stay again in the future.

iroom 222 was extremely clean, comfortable and not far from stair or elevator. every person that was on site was extremely friendly and always smiling. if you have time drive out to scott lake...you won't be disappointed!

Awesome staff! Very clean Hotel! Well cats, hot tub, swimming pool and fitness center all extremely clean and well-maintained. Very comfy beds! This is a great location! Small town with great values! I will be staying here again!!

I stayed here with a friend while hiking in the area. This BW is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was a good selection of food for breakfast and you can also ask for a sandwich to heat in the microwave. I would stay here again.

Was there on Tuesday June 15th and the lady at the front desk could not have been nicer and more helpful. It was nice to see and experience. Check in was easy and the room was very clean. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was better than expected. Everything was wrapped up nice and they would heat up breakfast sandwiches for you if you wanted one. I would stay here again if I was in town.

I hate reviewing chain hotels. Chains are so good these days, even average can be quite nice. In a small town though, a chain hotel is usually quite a bit nicer than the usually older local properties. Well, here goes. The El Quartelejo is a relatively new (in the past 20 years) property that's beer recently renovated. The entire property is well maintained and clean. The help is quite friendly. A pleasant surprise. It is a pretty standard vanilla flavored chain lodging. We had a nice room with a queen bed, one bed stand/lamp, a credenza with TV, a side chair with table/lamp and a writing desk/chair/lamp. Worked for the night. The place was noisy with some dogs barking into the night. Not good. No real charm. But comfortable. Breakfast was a bit meager (but these are COVID-times after all). They had a breakfast sandwich in cellophane, yogurt, some fruit, OJ and coffee. The breakfast room was a bit small, but clean and well maintained. A bit below average for this type hotel. Would we stay here again? Probably. It's better than the other motels in town.

We stayed at this hotel while we were in Kansas for my nephew's graduation. We got to my sister-in-law's early on May 21st in Leoti, which is 40 minutes away from the hotel, so we spent the day with family. This resulted in a later than expected check in. Another sister-in-law and her 7 yr old son traveled with my husband and I. We were all staying for 3 nights. The desk clerk was very accomodating and got us rooms across the hall from each other even though we hadn't asked for this when we had booked our rooms at separate times. The staff was very helpful when we went in for breakfast although due to covid, the options were not the best. The exchange of dirty towels for clean was very easy, and I was glad to see that the hotel was trying to be a little Greener. Our room was clean and well maintained. Check out went smoothly on May 24th, even when I had to go back and ask for a copy of my receipt because I didn't receive the email copy they had sent me. I would gladly stay at this hotel again when in the area for a family function.

I have had better experiences in a 49 dollar motel that is just not supposed to happen especially when the charge a much higher rate than any Best Western model around for hundreds of miles. No shower curtain. A bathroom that smelled very strong of urine. And evening attendant that wasd focused on one part of her job but ignoring the front desk for at least 15 minutes would of been longer if I hadn' heard a noise from the direction of the pool and went investigating. The morning desk attendant kept repeating ( the people before you didn't have any complaints, but then finding out that those people had an extended stay, explaining the terrible urine smell

The gentleman in the room next to me was smoking weed - smelled up my entire room and the hallway. Nothing was done when reported. He also screamed/yelled/cursed all evening. DROVE 3 HOURS TO NOT STAY HERE

This facility is about average for most hotels of its class. My only real complaints was the shower head needed the hardwater build-up cleaned out, and the breakfast was inadequate. You'd think for this area of KS that they'd have given up on the "Covid" debacle, but this hotel appears to continue playing the game; even though essentially nobody else in the community gives a wooden nickel.

This was my first stay at a Best Western hotel. I had an outstanding experience. It was clean with amazing service. I travel with my job often so I will look for Best Western hotels for future trips. I will also consider staying at these hotels for family vacations.

Room and hotel was very clean. Room was nicely decorated. Looked new. Quiet. Had mini frig, coffee pot, and hair dryer. Water was hot and no problem getting extra towels. Swimming pool was very clean and warm.

We traveled out to western KS to see the Little Jerusalem badlands and Monument Rocks. We were unsure what to expect from this small town hotel but found it to be clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly.

On a weekend get away this was the perfect place to stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rooms, pool, etc. were all clean and not one issue was observed. We are already planning out next stay.

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect in this small town. This hotel was much better than I had imagined. It was clean, neat, comfortable and friendly. The breakfast was a hot breakfast. I couldn't have asked for more.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and have found rooms to be immaculate, the staff, professional, helpful, and gracious. We have come to know the manager and some of the staff well and we are treated like old friends. The hotel has recently been very tastefully redecorated and looks lovely, warm and welcoming.

This was the lowest point on our vacation. The room smelled like urine. Problems with the computer at the counter resulted in standing at the counter and waiting about 30 minutes. The breakfast was average. Kind of pricey as well.

I am sorry to hear that experienced a sub-par stay with us. We just completed a total renovation of our guest rooms and public areas. We also installed all new heating/cooling units in our guest rooms. A few of these units have not officially been "broken in" which has resulted in an odor that reflects a new smell. Our rooms do not smell like urine. We have rectified this problem and we no longer have problems with the units. We could have rectified it during your stay if you would have alerted us. I also asked all of my front desk agents regarding our system being "down for 30 minutes." Fortunately, our system hasn't been down for over a year! The management anticipates busy nights with several arrivals and staffs accordingly so no guest is waiting longer than three minutes-- I believe you have us confused with another property. We booked this hotel with a BW Spring Stay Twice Get a Free Night Promotion and when we checked in there was no voucher sent to me nor the hotel. I went to our car to get my phone and call BW Customer Service and when I returned I found Mona on the phone to that office straightening things out! Problem solved. The hotel seems fairly new and is clean, convenient, and everything worked just fine. The indoor pool area was very pleasant and the hot tub was pleasant. The free breakfast was typical, but kept restocked by an extremely polite staff member. This is a nice oasis in the western Kansas plains. One would do well to stay here.

This was a great hotel. The room was clean. The pool and hot tub were amazing. Breakfast was a nice variety. The biscuits and gravy were awesome. It was a nice place to stay for the wedding we were in town attending.

The hotel was very nice and clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. They allowed us an early check-in due to a wedding so we could freshen up and change clothes prior to the wedding time.

The service at this hotel was amazing! Unfortunately, due to a slurry of canceled flights and bad weather I was not able to make my reservation, however, the hotel staff was extremely generous and accommodating. I would highly recommend!

We just returned from a stay at the Best Western. It was our second stay and will not be the last! Have stayed at lots of motels, budget friendly to five star, and this truly ranks as one of the best I've ever stayed at. First of all, the room is immaculate. As soon as you walk in, you notice how fresh and clean the room smells. And it doesn't just smell clean, it IS clean! It's spacious too. Upon arriving back to our room the second day, we found that our room had been cleaned but also found just a few little additional touches. My son's toothbrush and toothpaste was put in a cup on the counter and my suitcase was set out on the luggage rack. Small things but were appreciated. The pool and hot tub were small but clean. The free breakfast was good and it was kept well stocked and clean. Another thing to note is how friendly every employee was. A truly great place to stay!

We stayed at the hotel on our way back east from a road trip. The room was very clean and quiet. The hotel amenities, such as breakfast and guest laundry were great. The location was easy on/off from the highway. Thanks for a great stay.

We arrived expecting what we have come to trust from Best Western Hotels and were not disappointed. The young lady at the desk welcomed us cheerfully and had fast information on rooms, obviously took pride in where she worked and enjoyed visiting with us. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was hot, fresh and not rubber as happens at times. Well done!

Staff was friendly upon check in. The hotel & rooms were clean. Bed was very comfortable. They had a hot breakfast in the morning. It was nice to see breakfast started at 6am on the weekend, many times they start at 7 and I have to be gone by then. I will stay there again.

Not unlike Scott City itself, this BW hotel was tidy, friendly, and a good value. We will definitely be staying there again in the future, as it is conveniently located near Lake Scott State Park and the town has a decent choice of restaurants.

We were headed to Colorado & made a stop in Scott City to see some old friends. We decided to stay the night & chose this hotel thinking on a Wednesday shouldn't be to busy!! We got there at 4pm & only 2 rooms left (double queen or king suite). We got a 10% discount for AAA & were allowed to park our Harley's under the drive threw area! The double queen had lots of room & the beds were very comfy! The hot breakfast is only till 9 on week days, that could be a draw back for some. The pool & spa were well maintained & had fresh towels!

We got into Scott City very late and they were really booked up, but Michelle was very friendly and helpful and made us glad we picked the Best Western over some of the other places in Scott City. Staff at the breakfast was friendly and kept everything stocked. Would definitely stay again.

Pleasantly surprised by this best western hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful. Clean and comfortable, and quiet room. Breakfast was good, internet decent, although a little slow at times. Plenty of parking. No premium TV channels.

We were passing thru Scott City Kansas and needed a place to stay. The Best Western is where we landed, and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel has a pool and a hot tub as well as an exercise room. We stayed in a downstairs suite and it was plenty roomy and the bed was very comfortable. They have a free breakfast as well. Highly recommend staying here if your out in this part of the world

If you are visiting or passing through Scott City, Ks, this is the best hotel to stay at.The staff is always friendly and helpful. The breakfast is varied every day and is good. The rooms are nice and always clean. It is quiet and you can get a good nights sleep. Definitely recommend this hotel.

The property is easy to find, is well maintained, and has welcoming staff who are hospitable and helpful. The room had a comfortable bed and was quite spacious. There is a gas station quite close as well as a number of eating places.

The motel was very clean and I would gladly stay there again. I often feel I have to clean a motel myself before staying the night. This was not the case here..which was a welcomed experience. Nice and clean room, firm beds, good TV service, good location next to a pharmacy and very swimmable indoor heated pool. Off a main road into town. Very good value for the money. We stayed on way to and from Denver, Scott City is a nice Western Kansas town

My granddaughter and I stayed for one night and the entire staff was fantastic! They were extremely friendly and very helpful. The hotel was clean and well kept. We used the pool while we were there and it was in excellent condition. Breakfast was great as well. Highly recommended.

I am quite pleased with my stay here last month. Very nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. The heating and cooling performed well. I will always stay here in the future when traveling to this area for work.

We were in Scott City to attend the funeral of a family member. It was really nice to have such a clean and quiet place to return to and spend time with other members of our family who were also staying there. The room was very reasonably priced, exceptionally clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The breakfasts were very good. Overall, this place made our stay very pleasant.

This is a very nice hotel it is very clean and the staff is very friendly and the service is great. the breakfast are real good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone . The rooms are very well kept and the room service is good.

Other than the inability to completely control the heating/ac and the basic lack of internet service (I could never get onto it so just used my cellular service instead) it was pretty decent. I've definitely stayed in worse places. The exterior is very nice, the parking lot was clean and maintained. The room was decorated nicely. I believe this is somewhat of a newer hotel so mostly the amenities were updated and generally pleasant.

Our front desk agents are trained to point out the support number located on your key card envelope if you need some assistance connecting to the internet. Regarding the heating/air conditioning unit--again, a quick call at the desk would have resulted in finding a solution to the problem, or we would have moved you to a different room to your liking. The Best Western appears to be the nicest hotel in Scott City per Trip Advisor reviews. It is a newer hotel, well furnished and decorated. Lobby and rooms were nice and clean. Front Desk staff was friendly and check-in was fast. They have a complimentary breakfast, but we left early and were not able to try it. My only complaint is that the mattress was too firm, making it difficult to sleep.

I would have never expected to find this quality of motel in a small western Kansas town. It had small town friendliness with big town motel and amenities. From check-in to the actual stay and the check out. Everything was great! Thank you!

A very nice, clean, and roomy Hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Refrigerator, microwave, and TV were available. The breakfast was early enough for us to use and it was very good. Internet was available, but we did not use it. Loved the new key entry which was to just swipe your card over the entrance.

I have paid three times the money for a room in downtown Denver that was not as nice and comfortable as this Hotel in Scott City. The staff was so kind. My room was very clean. The bed and pillows were awesome!

My girlfriend and I drove from Colo Springs to Scott City, Ks to attend the Whimmydiddle craft fair. The general manager arranged transportation to the fair for us as I use a walker and quite a bit too far to walk to the fair. She was so helpful as well as the entire staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were very pleased.

The room we got was very clean and the staff was very polite. We were on a 5 week motorcycle and most of our gear was in our cargo trailer. We were given a ground floor which was very much appreciated. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional and had a wide variety of food items. I would stay here again in a heart beat. This was the second Best Western we had stayed at during our trip and the other one was just as good as this one.

We checked in late on 9/16/17 and received great service from the gentleman at the front desk. The property is in excellent condition and our room was very comfy. A great breakfast the next morning got us off to a great start the next day.

The motel was very clean & the staff was very friendly & helpful. I had my 2 boys with me(ages 9 & 11) & the staff was very nice to them. Breakfast was hot & fresh even with us not getting there until around 9 am. Was very satisfied overall with our stay.

On our return trip from Wisconsin my wife and I stayed at the Best Western in Scott City. This was the second time we had stayed there and found it once again to be a great property to stay at. Good staff and a very clean motel.

We plan on using this hotel for every visit we make to Scott City, KS to see our grandkids! They enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub and were eager to come back to the hotel each day so they could go swimming again. Checking in and checking out were super easy and the staff was wonderful to work with. I urge everyone reading this that they choose this facility when traveling through western Kansas.

This hotel was absolutely spotless, everything about it was great. Would highly recommend it to family and friends. Breakfast was great, had an at home feel to it. The tub, bathroom and room had t9 be the cleanest room we have ever stayed in. Smelled fresh not stale like most hotels.

BW was a good spot to stay in Scott City. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was generous and tasty. I would stay there again. Nice museum to visit there and Scott Lake is beautiful. Native American ruin site is difficult to find.

Hotel was clean. And staff was friendly. My only concern was the night clerk was clearly under the influence. I stopped and asked if he was ok and could smell alcohol. Other then that my stay was great

We travel to Scott City every summer to visit family and always stay at the Best Western. Super efficient and friendly staff make it a very enjoyable stay. Breakfast is always wonderful and the pool is great.

The El Quartelejo Inn in Scott City provides comfort, security and all the amenities that we need as we travel in western Kansas. In many cases the options are few, so what a relief the El Q provides. The staff is consistently helpful, the rooms and common areas are clean and well presented, there are no concerns about security and the breakfast is superior considering the cost of the room. There is a courteous staff that makes you feel welcome throughout the facility that starts with the front desk.There is a nice hometown feel to the hotel with good old western hospitality. The breakfasts were very delicious with good old fashioned oatmeal from scratch.

Stayed here instead of Garden City as it put us a little closer to our final destination. Staff friendly and courteous. Corner room on second floor was spacious and comfortable, although a bit sparse looking. We've stayed here before and would recommend as best in Scott City.

Just what you would expect from a small western Kansas town--friendly, courteous staff. Their breakfast items were particularly good for an included breakfast. Only weakness was the lighting in the room. No night stand or light on one side of bed. Bed was very comfortable.

After a long day on the road, we found this oasis in Scott City.The staff were jolly and helpful with restaurants and information on the nearby state park.The woman attending the breakfast area filled my water bottle for me without being asked. Small town hospitality for sure.

This Best Western was extremely clean in all areas. My grandchildren spent a lot of time in the pool, which was a real treat for the. The lady in charge of the breakfast bar was very helpful, and the breakfast was very good. Overall, this place has a friendly, small-town feel to it.

The Best Western El-Quartelejo Inn & Suites offers comfortable rooms. The front desk staff are friendly and polite. I stayed in a large, clean room with a king bed. My room was quiet and I enjoyed a restful sleep. Breakfast was ready at 6:00 am and included a good selection of hot and cold choices. The hotel is conveniently located on the south side of Scott City just off of US 83. For a comfortable and restful stay in Scott City, I recommend the El-Quartelejo.

Overall impressed with this hotel given its location in the middle of nowhere. I would recommend it. Rooms were very clean, good breakfast. Staff was very nice. If I am ever around the area again, I would go out of my way to stay here again.

I don't know how old the property is because it's kept up very well. I was surprised and pleased that the layout, the quality of furniture and fixtures and the amenities were all Hampton Inn level. Laundry, fitness center, a small pool with hot tub, and a free breakfast rivaling my top standard (Hampton Inn-Texarkana AR). A full breakfast with bagels, doughnuts, scrambled eggs, bacon, potato cakes, fruits, cereals, coffees, make your own waffles, and a small counter top frig for the milk and butter and yogurt (nice touch, I've never seen that), they had it all. An attendant was in constant motion, keeping everything stocked and cleaned up. On duty manager stopped by to see if we needed anything. The room was great, had everything we need and the usually suspect TV remote was sanitized and stored in a fresh wrapper waiting to be used (I've never seen that before either). Bed was soft (I like firm) but still very comfortable, I slept well. Bathroom was fine, the fan does need to be replaced, it was quite noisy (room 215). Front desk was pleasant and efficient without being nosy, that was appreciated. My wife left a makeup bag behind so I called to see if they had it, front desk said they did and made arrangements to help me recover it. A great experience, highly recommended.

It seemed surprising to my wife and I that such a nice, modern hotel was in such a small town as Scott City. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The front desk clerk was very helpful and cheerful. Checking in and out were effortless. Our room was clean as were the linens and the bed had a pillow top mattress which was very comfortable. The rooms are of adequate size and the baths well equipped. Breakfast in included in the room charge. The quality of the food was satisfactory but the choices were few. There were no egg options other than hard boiled eggs. If we need a place to stay in Scott City again we will definitely stay here.

If your travel plans ever make it through this part of the state, or if you happen to get stranded (in the winter months) between Colby and Garden City this hotel is really good one to stay at. The front desk staff are all very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms are really nice, but it's their beds that make this place a must stay! I travel lots for business all over Kansas and have slept in lots of different beds (hotels), and this hotel has one of the most comfortable beds around! Their breakfast was delicious and helped me through my busy day, but the hostess was really nice and quite awake for 6 AM, LOL! Do not miss this hotel if your travel plans take you through Scott City!

We have never had a bad experience here. Beds have always been comfortable and facilities are clean and well cared for inside and out. Service from registration to check out is always a smooth process. We had one member of our party that had a very late arrival and they were still courteous and helpful even though it was the wee hours of the night. The breakfast had a wide selection and warm items were kept at a nice temperature, not allowed to get cold. When guests left they were right there cleaning tables so the next guest had a clean area to eat in. Free Wi-Fi is available. Includes a pool, hot tub and exercise room, and although we did not use them this trip we have on past stays and always find them kept very well and temps of the water comfortable. The only complaint we have from any of our stays at this property is that it would be nice if the pool area were open past 10:00 p.m. Sometimes we arrive late in the evening and it would be nice if we could sit in the hot tub after a long day.

The staff at Best Western in Scott City, Kansas was very outgoing and very professional. They helped out with anything I asked for and I highly recommend staying here. Everyday they would ask where i was working and it felt like they honestly cared and they tried to help out with anything and everything they could.

This is a nice hotel and the employees are wonderful. They are all friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. The breakfast varies every day so if you stay more than 1 day, you have a different breakfast.

Great place to stay when in Scott City. Friendly staff, filling breakfast (different every morning) 6-10am on weekends, 6-9 am on weekdays, fitness room, pool and hot tub. There is also a grill if you feel like BBQ during your stay.

We contemplated driving on to Garden City for more of a selection of hotels, but we were so tired we needed to stop for the night. The check-in service was exceptional and the room was clean and comfortable. The price was fair. Very glad we chose this hotel and would stay here again if needed.

Just happened to stay here when we couldn't drive a mile more and we are so glad we did. Clean facility, friendly staff, comfy beds, and tasty breakfast. If you are reading the reviews, note that practically all of the negative ones are from several years ago. My only regret is that I forgot to sign up for the Best Western loyal customer plan. This stop made me a believer in the Best Western hotel chain!

We arrived as a storm was approaching and asked for a first floor room and were accommodated. That helped to allay any fears in one of our party. The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly. The complimentary breakfast included just about anything you'd want, we chose bacon, juice, coffee and to make waffles. There was a staff person in the breakfast room who kept everything neat and clean. The next time we are visting family in the area we will stay here again.

Our card keys would not work to open our room door. We thought we would have to get them reactivated at the main desk. It was late and we were tired. We had a similar experience several years ago at another motel. so we were prepared to make several trips back and forth before getting into our room..Much to our surprise, Breva , the desk clerk came up and helped us get into our room. The next morning, when we went to the breakfast room, we found Breva making sure everyone had a good breakfast. I commented, "Did you ever get to go home?" She said yes, however she was on the schedule both shifts. She is a very friendly, helpful lady and Best Western is lucky to have her working for them.

this hotel was a stop on a cross country trip when there was a storm to the north and we had to take a more southern route off the interstate which ended up closed, it was average and ended up with a clean room and nights rest after a long tough day on the road, unfortunately the desk clerk was overly chummy and making jokes and nursery rhymes with my name even after telling her we were on the road a long time, more professional would be better like most hotels are run.

We stayed at this motel during a weekend in western Kansas to celebrate my father's 85th birthday. We were very impressed with the quality of the facility and amenities in such a small town community. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and in excellent condition. Parking was more than adequate and it was easy to get a very conveniently located empty parking space at any time of day. The TV was very modern and adequately large screen. There were plenty of electrical outlets for our needs. The bathroom was of normal size and they supplied the standard amenities. The towels were above average for size, thickness, comfort and absorption. There was no problem with speed and signal strength of the free WiFi. I printed our return flight boarding passes from the printer supplied in their (small) business center (1 computer and 1 printer). Room rates were a bit high, but it was understandable due to the small occupancy, and small traffic (in number of guests), as well as practically no other hotel/motel options of similar quality nearby.

There is a strong possibility you WILL NOT experience a problem at this hotel. EVERYONE goes out of their way to make your stay safe and enjoyable. Rooms are clean and large, the breakfast is excellent, the fitness center and pool are well maintained and the location is quiet.

Very clean. Room smelled good when I stepped in! Nice pool area if together got kids in tow. Small town so it's close to everything. It's also on the South side for those coming or going to nearby Garden City. My room on the 2nd floor, was quiet all night.

Don't charge what the current rate is. They like to over charge you. They charged me 114. The web said 110 for one night then looked at another night it went to 89. Strange how they think that they are customer friendly when they over charge you.

I am so sorry that you felt that the rate that was quoted to your relative that booked both of the rooms in your party was too high. I was the one that made the reservations for two double queen rooms for a woman named Kimberly and she was in agreement with it. I told her that was the rate plus tax per night and it included a hot breakfast. She said that was fine. Our web rates are different, but they have different cancellation policies. We did not cheat or price gouge you. This was our rate for the time period you stayed. I would suggest that next time you book a hotel room, check with your relative to see what price she agreed to pay. If you are going to be in Scott City this is by far the best place to stay. The employees at the front desk are always pleasant and helpful for whatever you need. The rooms are clean and fairly nice. The hotel is often busy so it can be loud at times, but it has never been a big problem nor has it been a problem late at night. The breakfast is nothing exceptional, but better than many other Best Western's. Overall much better than taking the time to travel elsewhere.

very pleasant stay! Not one complaint! Staff very friendly, lobby decorated so nice for Christmas, breakfast was GREAT! Loved the coffee! I feel at home here! The maids are so friendly and ready to accomadated you in everyway.

nice hotel & location is good, wonderful place to sleep when away from home, easy access for big trucks used in our work, several restaurants close by, fuel stops & convenience stores accessible & close.

The Heater quit and had to be replaced. The Internet quit after about 20 minutes and in 5 days they could not get it back up and running.They could not get the bill right, I held 3 rooms with my CC and was charged for some of the nights after we had paid for each room with the individual cards. They did not seem to understand what they were doing.

Thank you for the review. I would like to respond to the issues you experienced while you were a guest here: 1) Heater that quit and had to be replaced--you called down to the front desk and alerted us that your heater was not working---your heater was replaced with a brand new unit in less than an hour. I followed up with you and you said everything was great. 2) No internet for 5 days--again, you brought this to our attention and we connected you with our Best Western remote help for WI-FI issues--again, the front desk manager followed up with you and you stated everything was working well. I also noticed all of the members of your party on their devices throughout the hotel and I asked them if everything was working---their response-- everything was perfect. No other guests had issues with our internet during the time you were here. I can't imagine going without internet for 5 days without mentioning something.3) Card was charged even after other cards were presented for payment--you held these rooms with a debit card---when you do this, the card will suspend funds that are a preauthorization for all three rooms. The money will return to your bank two to three business days after checkout. The front desk manager explained this to you. My staff is outstanding and they know exactly what they are doing. We are in the top 5 percent of all properties in North America in Brand Standards and Customer Care. I am sorry that your experience and your review did not reflect that. Safe travels to you. Great room and spa. The check-in attendant was the most helpful person I have ever dealt with. She gave me directions around town and to other nearby towns to help me with my business. I have stay at hotels many times this year and this was my best experience.

We stayed here for one night before driving on to Colorado Springs the next day. This is a new facility and we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and comfortable our room and bed was. The breakfast bar was better than average in selection but unfortunately the coffee was not great. Perfect for a one night stay.

Price is too high for the value. I paid $140 plus for a hotel that was not full and not in a high impact economic area. I do not feel that the price I paid was worth the value received from the hotel. It was very nice and the breakfast was fine but again the value was not worth the price. I did not use the pool or the work out room but have at this location in the past.

Heading back to New Mexico after our vacation in Wisconsin my wife and I stayed here and had a very good night's rest. Clean rooms and a very well kept up property. Very quiet as it is off the beaten path. Wonderful staff and a good breakfast.
