Firstly, just a heads-up: if you type in "Best Western" in your map, when you're coming into town, it'll take you to the wrong hotel. The words "Best Western" are nowhere in the signage or on Google. This hotel is not near the historic, downtown part of Santa Fe, either, so just FYI. There's not much to do in the part of town that this is located. This hotel has 3 floors, so "top floor" will get you a third floor room. I asked for a quiet room, as well, and we got room 341, which is located at the very end of the hall. It's a corner room, with 2 windows, and was actually a pretty large, 2 bedroom suite. There were only 2 of us, but we got a room with 3 queen beds, which was pretty cool. And the room was pretty quiet, with no hallway noise at all. Some highway/road noise, but it was tolerable. The room itself was pretty clean, with a tiny, tiny bathroom area. We noticed there was not one bedside clock in there, so that was a little weird, but maybe we're old fashioned. The blinds in the one window were broken and didn't close all the way and there is an outdoor light as bright as the sun aimed right at the window so we had to rig a towel in it to make it at least a little darker for sleeping. The hotel is pretty outdated (the hallway carpet looks like it's leftover from the 1960s). We were concerned about the safety of our vehicle parked out there, so we made sure to park it where we could see it from one of the windows. The hotel is next to an almost abandoned outlet mall, and there were shenanigans happening in the empty parking lot at night. Breakfast was average, with the exact same thing being served all 3 mornings we were there. The coffee is mid. I feel like this was very overpriced for the quality of lodgings, but maybe that's just Santa Fe. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be staying somewhere else.
The hotel it self is very comfortable clean and safe and matches the nearby buildings ie pueblos and decorations very nice place. the staff goes out of there way to make your stay most enjoyable Thank you Tammy hope to visit again but i Highly recommend this property...
The bed was very comfortable and the entire hotel was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was also good but pretty much what you would expect. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The only issue was that I saw the hotel online where it said there were 4 rooms available but when we arrived we were told the were no vacancies but I was able to book a room on Travelocity while in the parking lot and get a room.
2 nights and recharged batteries after being on road 6 weeks. Great pool, great staff with excellent recommendations in town. Laundry facilities were great (2 washing and 2 dryer machines) I even soaked in hot tub which was perfect end to the day
Nice hotel clean, and cold AC. It was quiet and we were next to pool and hot tub. We didn't make the breakfast but it smelled good. We will gladly stay here again in the future. The reception person was nice and courteous. The lobby was well appointed in Santa Fe decoration.
My wife, our friend Jeff, and I rented a couple rooms on Aug 15th. I researched hotels in the Santa Fe area on Booking.com, Tripadvisor, and Google. Most of the hotels in the area had room prices two to three times higher which we weren't willing to spend for one night. So based on the positive ratings and comments we took a chance on this hotel and were very pleasantly surprised. Based on the appearance of the hotel and rooms I think this is an older hotel. But it is a very well maintained and clean hotel. The rooms are clean and have all modern amenities. The rooms have a fridge and microwave. The ac works great. The bathrooms are clean and have modern toilets and shower heads. The pool and hot tub are clean, heated, and not postage stamp size like many newer hotels. The hotel staff are very friendly and wonderful to deal with. The breakfast buffet was excellent. There were a lot of food choices including pinto beans and spicy sauces. For the price this is an excellent place to stay just a couple blocks off of I25. When we are in Santa Fe again we will stay here again.
My siblings and I chose this inn to stay at for the two nights we would be in Santa Fe. The room, although small in comparison to more modern rooms in newer buildings, was not a huge turn off for us and we were able to figure things out for ourselves. The inn itself was far from the downtown area but it was to our benefit as we prefer something nice and quiet. Highly recommend this place for smaller groups.
Breakfast was only fair. The internet service was VERY poor. I could not get on their WiFi and I was blocked from internet while in the hotel. As soon as I left the hotel my internet way fine. I probably will not return to this hotel in the future.
Staff was friendly. Decent beds, over filled pillows- but of course this is a personal preference. The shower was stained and dirty appearing. The electronic lock on the outside of the door didn't work well or at all. The a/c is still controlled from the unit and didn't really seem to keep the room cool enough. Carpeting in reception and stairs was rather worn and pretty dirty and stained. Breakfast was just OK. We stayed here only b/c my family member had already booked their room and we wanted to stay together. I don't think I'd ever do a "Sure Stay" again.
The room is very small for the queen size bed, so much so the night tables, which were too small to put anything other than a water bottle & my glasses, were squeezed in one vertical, one horizontal next to the bed with the lamps bolted on and the rest of the furniture was squeezed in leaving very little room to walk, and yet there was a very uncomfortable chair in front of one night table making it almost impossible to get into the bed; the mattress doesn't fit properly on the bed; the blackout curtains were ill fitting & there was no secondary curtain to screen the view outside of the rooftop or from anyone looking up to the room from the pool; half the hanging space is taken up by the refrigerator & microwave (crappy microwave, but great fridge with freezer!); not enough bath counter space; the shower stall in the toilet compartment is barely big enough for one person, fortunately there is a grab bar to hold onto so you can bend over to wash legs/feet without falling. The towels were small and non-absorbent -- they should have been replaced long ago and with bigger towels. The room coffee maker was old and dirty and the supplied coffee was as bad as the coffee in the breakfast room - you need to upgrade to Keurig machine & pods! The breakfast was awful: white bread only, no wheat, no bagels, no muffins, no English muffins, only 2% milk, no cream/half & half for their terrible coffee, sausage, beans, green chili, and scrambled eggs in the steamer trays. Isn't that what everyone eats for breakfast? This was the second time I've ever stayed at a Best Western and had promised I would never do it again. I should have taken my own advice and booked elsewhere!
I travel to Santa Fe frequently and usually stay near the Plaza. This hotel isn't close to where I visit my family but, well worth the extra few minutes of driving. The price was reasonable, clean place and the breakfast was so much better than the more expensive plaza hotels. Reception desk was very friendly and efficient.
The hotel has gone down in quality and cleanliness over the past year. Needs to be improved. We booked our room 3-6 months in advance and were give a room smaller than what we paid. The shower and sink were leaking, the light in the room were lot low. The Breakfast was not that great and could be a lot better. The staff at the front desk were not very accommodating.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and in good working condition. The decore was adequately appealing and representative of the Santa Fe area. I would recommend this Inn and look forward to staying again.
We stayed here as an in between to get to our destination. The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Cons: There were bugs in the bed, the shower light was not working, the bathroom door did not fully close and came off its railing, the safe in the room was not functional, there were stains in the carpet. The pillows were tiny and not comfortable.
A really nice facility, nice safe location, Everything worked (plumbing, internet, the fridge and the tv) The room was spotless. The breakfast, typical serve yourself hotel fare, was plentiful and fresh. I would absolutely stay here again
The rooms are tiny but functional,, all of the necessities are there. Located on the very outskirts of town, you're going to have to drive to everything. The place was clean and comfortable. We booked because of the 9.6 rating on hotels com. May have been a little overrated but I'd give it a solid 8.
I would stay here again. The price is good. Its on the outskirts of town so theres not much immediately to do. Large free parking lot! Very few, 4, handicap spaces and the other upclose spaces fill up fast. There is a need to update/renovated and keep an eye on cleanliness. Things are getting run down. Rooms are small. The 2 queen room we had would have been super tight if we actually had 4 people in it that it supposedly accommodates. One mattress had broken springs or something and bowed on one side. Nosie was minimal. On-site pay washer/dryer (coin or card) is nice. Staff were friendly and great.
We reserved two rooms. I stayed on the second floor, room 207 and my sister stayed on the first floor, room 139. There were 6 or 7 boxes with trash in them and bags of some pretty peculiar SMELLING garbage just to the right of the elevator, that were there from the time I checked into my room, until the time we checked out the next day around 11:45. NOT a good look for ANY hotel. We both had a lot of problems with our room key cards not working. Had to go back to the front desk twice for my sisters room to get a card that actually worked. The breakfast room was very unorganized and crowded to say the least. Too many tables/chairs to close to the serving areas, and not much room to walk in between due to all the furniture packed in such a small area. Food, not at all what I've experienced at my stays at many other Best Western's, the presentation and some funny SMELLS coming from it was very unappetizing to say the least. Needless to say, we SKIPPED the breakfast. This place NEEDS to do A LOT better. Regards, Lt. Wayne D. Fincke Edgewood NM
Great Breakfast, clean rooms with all amenities, wifi safe refrig. Pool and hot tub. Close to many restaurants.
I like staying at Best Western. If I find another hotel brand thats less expensive for the same amenities I will stay there.
Highly recommended! One of our favorites! Breakfast and staff was great! The pool was nice on an extremely hot day! Thank you!
Hotel was very nice. Clean rooms and everything worked well. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Good area with many restaurants nearby. Nice choice if you don't want to stay in the tourist area.
Average BW stay. Room was adequately clean and quiet and location was easy to access from the highway. The only issue I had was that there was a very heavy chemical odor in my room. It did not smell like a cleaning solution, so I'm not sure what it was, but I'm glad this was a quick overnight and I was not planning to stay any longer.
We reserved our rooms on the Best Western site. The gentleman checking us in was very impersonal to the point of being rude. After check in we headed for the elevator only to be cut off by housekeeping. They got in the elevator and told us “no room” and closed the doors. I would normally disregard that but we were traveling with my 70 year old parents who had been on the road with us for 10+ hours. The room was borderline claustrophobic. Smallest bedroom/bathroom we had ever stayed in. Rooms were clean and they had a decent breakfast is the only reason for not getting a 1. Will not stay here again.
The hotel is on the outskirts of the city close to the highway, so easy to get in and out of Santa Fe. The room was fine but the pool area was in need of some tidying up. The pool was unheated and the hot tub was working on and off. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was satisfactory.
After a day indulging in the sights and sounds of Santa Fe, it was wonderful to withdraw to this beautiful, quiet inn on the outskirts of town. Our room was comfortable and attractive, breakfast was solid, and we had great conversations with Emory at the front desk and several guests. Only complaint: the ledge in the shower for soap and shampoo was too small to really be of use.
Overall a great location with necessary amenities. We always stay at Inn of Santa Fe when we visit. We will be back as always!
Looking for a clean , quiet place to stay that I wouldn't have to sell my first born child to pay for . I was very pleased with the accommodations . Fifteen minutes from the airport and a lovely helpful staff.
My family member booked a room at the in at santa fe From the 27th to the 30th of April we had a fabulous experience with Oscar. He was wonderful and was very helpful in helping my auntie too Make her stay comfortable as well as her companion dog. Everything was wonderful and my auntie really enjoyed the breakfast and the surrounding areas. We both liked the fact that they provided plenty of potty bags to pick up any mess. And that Dogs are very welcomed in the hotel. Their pet fee is small And very reasonable. The queen bed was comfortable and the decor and room was pleasant And very clean. But the icing on the cake really was Oscar And his wonderful approach to his job. He definitely deserves a Raise$$$$. He's a great person and very helpful and friendly. Thank you oscar for being an incredible person.
Stayed one night, a good overall experience. Checked in late so got the last parking space in the lot, but lot was well lit and felt safe in the area. Check-in was smooth with no issues. Booked a standard Queen room, very clean and everything in the room worked. Only issue is the room is very compact, so not a lot space even with just overnight bags. Small bathroom and shower behind a pocket door with sink in main room added to the cramped feeling. Room rate was reasonable so this was a great value for just needing a night's sleep. Would return.
The room was not overly large, but it was clean The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good and included scrambled eggs and sausage instead of just pastries. It was located in a nice seating/room area. Night staff did not help us get the TV to work.
Location just off the highway was terrific for my one night stay traveling through Santa Fe on my way home from vacation in Arizona. Front desk attendant was nice and efficient, and the room was just right for this type of stay. Even had a work desk for laptop, so I was able to get some work done before hitting the road again.
I have not stayed at this property before and was apprehensive about the location. Well, it was fantastic! It was quiet, I felt safe, and the ease to get around town or get to the interstate was very quick. Will return!
How do they have cleaning ladies yet rooms don't get cleaned (even after notifying front desk) payed over $250 for 3 nights and couldn't even get clean towels every day, front desk person seemed to not care when I told him about this and when I asked for new towels he said there was an extra charge for it. If I could give it 0 stars I would, very unhappy with my stay here, won't be returning.
This hotel did not have an open restaurant. The "bar" had limited hours with miserable drinks and warm beer. The rooms were so crowded it was difficult for two people. The decorative ladder over and above the toilet made it so the entire bathroom was crowded for room. The carpeting was worn. The worst was the argument with the Chief of Maintenance and a guest that was ongoing as we were checking out.
The hotel is beautifully decorated with native American art and very well managed. From check--in to check-out, everyone was very efficient and friendly. The green chili and pinto beans with the breakfast eggs makes it very much Santa Fe. The hotel is very close to i-25 and an easy drive into the plaza for a visit to town. It is useful to avoid the evening traffic in town when checking in. We will stay there again!
Pros: -Nice hotel rooms, comfortable and equipped with fridge and microwave -Very decent breakfast included with your stay -Close to shopping and some restaurants Cons: -Far from city center -Reception Staff not very knowledgeable of their own premises -weird policy of having to notify reception if you want to have your room cleaned up -Probably they should open the restaurant area during the afternoon and night for guests to enjoy. No space for families to talk and mingle
The front desk was great & very helpful, but our room was not clean. Found several hairs in the bed, hair all over the shower walls & in the drain, & shower head was terrible. You could also tell that the bathroom floor had not been cleaned or mopped.
Stayed during Christmas. Even though 19 degrees outside - room was just cozy for the two of us! Didn't mind the 10 min drive to old town, a lot of food and shopping options along the way! Window mountain, sunset and distant city light views were absolutely spectacular! Parking lot was well lit too!
We had stayed at this hotel before and thought it was clean and good value. This past stay, I dropped something and looked to see if it rolled under the bed. I was shocked to see how filthy it was under there! There was garbage (including a bottle of water), and it was obvious no one had vacuumed under there in quite a while! I checked further and saw that the carpet by the head of the bed was coated with dust. This was right before bed. I took pictures the next morning and before we checked out I showed the front desk clerk the pictures. She apologized and said she would report it. So disappointed! We won't be staying there again.
Very satisfied with this hotel, very clean, no bad smell like others, friendly, helpful staff, excellent breakfast, the location was perfect for our plans, beds are comfortable, good! will stay again!!
Would recommend to stay. Quick check in. The room was cute, 2 single beds. Great decor. Laundry facilities -only cost $1.50 for a wash or dry (what a deal) and the ice machine worked. The room AC worked. The bed was comfy and there was enough towels and facecloths. The shower worked well. Staff were professional and efficient. We did not stay for the breakfast.
Santa Fe can be very expensive, so this is our go-to stay when in Sante Fe. Very comfortable, affordable, and has everything you need. The pool area is nice and the breakfast is awesome! It's a pet-friendly hotel that doesn't compromise on the cleaning. Very enjoyable and will definitely stay again.
Comfortable bed, refrigerator, big screen tv, great price. We love walking around downtown Santa Fe Square during the day, eating at Tia Sophia's and having drinks at the El Posado Hotel or the Eldorado, the patio at St Francis, showing friends the Loretto Chapel, walking the square and visiting museums. Hotel in the square are expensive and parking is impossible so we prefer to stay on the outskirts at a mid priced hotel that is comfortable and close to the interstate, easy to get out of town the next day.
Stayed here while attending the Santa Fe Opera. Need to make those with trailer's park in the Outlet Store parking lot right next door. One guy was taking up 7 spaces. Very rude I thought. We were quite a ways from the opera but took Rt 599 around Santa Fe and it worked out great. Good access to shopping mall, outlet mall and I-25. Staff was especially nice and accommodating.
This is a long review. Stayed seven nights this time. Come annually, family visit. PLUS Excellent price for value in the high-priced Santa Fe market. Yes, the pool and hot tub both worked, in late July 2023 Friendly staff. Rooms are quiet, have a queen bed, bathroom with large shower, TV, coffee maker, safe, open clothes rack closet. Decor is SW. For a small additional fee, select a room with a sofa and table as well as larger square feet. A hot, Santa Fe typical breakfast is available buffet style: scrambled eggs, link sausage, pinto beans, and chopped green chiles. Also pancakes, toast, cereal, juice, apples, coffee/tea. Recommend the Ranch House and Pantry Dos restaurants, relatively close by, and within driving distance. NEGATIVE Hallway carpets are worn, dirty...but the room carpet is clean. Time for a hall carpet upgrade, please. This hotel is the furthest south in Santa Fe, about 10 miles from the plaza. You'll need a car to see tourist sites. If you arrive via airport shuttle, this is not the hotel for you. It is, however, convenient if visiting family in south Santa Fe. It is also near Presbyterian Santa Fe Medical Center. It has easy freeway access to reach the old town via the St. Francis exit. No next-door or on-site restaurant. Gotta drive. Rooms don't have daily housekeeping, every third day if requested---not a problem for us, the price was right. Towels and amenities are available at reception.
Clean, breakfast was delicious, we had a great time and restful nights, we recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a clean place to stay that serves a great breakfast, kid friendly. Only we need to do our part and not destroy others property
This is a lovely place to stay! Beautiful art work throughout the building, cozy entrance and lobby, very comfortable rooms, and a fine breakfast. They also have laundry facilities which are very handy The staff was very kind to me. I was there because my husband had a sudden emergency and was at Presbyterian hospital for a number of days. I appreciated the special rate, and the flexibility to allow me to stay one more night that I realized I needed at the last minute. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Santa Fe.
Hotel is in dire need of a remodel, old dirty carpets, side door was not operating. front desk people were not friendly, their on site restaurant was closed. this hotel was way over priced and about 8 miles from Santa Fe.
Horrible. The beds are awful. The shower door was broken. The AC was broken. Breakfast was the same thing everyday. This hotel should not be $100 plus per night. I am in SF often and will never stay here again.
We had Great service from front desk to breakfast. The room was clean and comfortably laid out (remodeled Sleep Inn). The AC fan stayed on all night instead of turning off on and off with the compressor like in many other hotels. I wake up every time. It had a refrigerator with a freezer and a microwave which I didn't need, but would be very helpful for people on longer trips with food. I only have one small complaint, the breakfast could use more fresh fruit.
Good comfortable hotel that meets all the traveler's and tourist's needs. Good bed, good internet, facilities in working order, good price. The only downside is the distance from the downtown area which may be the primary reason for being in Santa Fe.
Oscar Rojas at the front desk hooked us up at the last minute with a great deal when we decided to extend our vacation! It was a better deal than the website and everything! He even was able to back refund my rate because the other lady increased my rate when I changed my reservation! He was great to work with and very accommodating! Thank you!!
The hotel is fine, but the credit department is a mess. They double billed me, and a sister property, Coyote South, billed me for a cancelled reservation. I can't stay at these places again because their billing operation is a nightmare.
Bed was permanently sunk in, terrible sleep. Great staff, clean room, but without comfortable bed makes your stay not so good without good rest. Have stayed here before without issues but this time it was bad. Don't stay in room 109.
Decent hotel. Far enough off the high way & other roadways to not be bothered by road noise. Convenient for getting on the free way for travel, has a few restaurants near by with out having to go in to the heart of Santa Fe for food. Wal-mart near by for odds & ends
The rooms were very comfortable. The decor is beautiful. I chose this hotel because the closer you get to the center of Santa Fe, the prices go way up. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel is. Santa Fe isn't very big, so I was able to get from the hotel to the downtown area in about 15 minutes (if you stay off of Cerrillos Rd!)
Fantastic price and room. Breakfast was full of choices and top notch. Friendly staff and great location off the freeway. I have stayed here many times. Best part is pet friendly. Love this hotel. I will be back
We always stay at a Best Western hotel and we never regret it the service is great the food is always hot and delicious they always have something different to chose from..I will never stay anywhere else
not good. do not stay here. it was not clean. restroom sliding door handle is broken. beds and room too small compared to what was advertised. not sure when the carpets were cleaned. the heater was too noisy when we turned it on. found human hair on bed coverings. overall, it was not clean and not a very comfortable place to stay at. room charge seems to be a bit much for the condition of the hotel.
We are party of five persons. 2 seniors and 3 military I had made reservations for 20th Night x 2 Rooms. It was by using my Rewards Points. However, due to winter weather, we decide to stay home. I requested the customer service of this BW collection hotel for cancellation. Ms. McKenzie answered the phone. She was excellent in politeness and promptness. More than that she cared about my points. She was concerned more than me that if she cancels ... I might lose the points. She even inquired with her boss. Her boss advised they could cancel, but because it is new Best western, she does not know- exactly what will happen to my points. I am very must impressed that they care. (I am ex- Best western Owner). If I was not retired, I would have hired these both people. One more front desk is also worth complimenting. He is Oscar. Originally, I started my reservation with him- as a party of five person. He suggested a special room with 3 beds. It is good spirit to help the guests. Good team and attitude
Just what we needed for an overnight stop - clean, comfortable room. Convenient location just off I-25 on the outskirts of Santa Fe, easy to get on and off the interstate. Lots of eating options nearby to choose from, and included breakfast is adequate to start your morning.
Very nice hotel with pool, hot tub, sauna and gym. Short drive to old town Santa Fe and close to highway for outer tourist destinations. There's really nothing within walking distance so be prepared to drive everywhere. Breakfast was ok - not as good as other BW's that we've stayed at. However, Great value compared to other hotels in the area.
Rooms are a little on the smallish side, but we enjoyed our stay here. Everything was great! Breakfast was good. Well located. Beds were comfortable. I think there is a pool, we didn't use it. I would definitely stay here again. Lots of nice restaurants nearby.
It's a very nice hotel in a good location. Near restaurants, road 25, outlet and Santa Fe Place Mall. The best part of this hotel is definitely the staff, specially Danielle, she was really friendly and helped us a lot throughout our stay in Santa Fe. thank you Danielle!
My room smelled of dog there was dog hair everywhere I had to buy products to clean a room that was supposedly clean I didn't like that they wouldn't move my room when I was not satisfied with this one
The rooms were clean. The pool and hot tub were nice and the staff at the hotel are very attentive. Emery (second shift I believe) was so kind and helpful. I cut my finger and he found me a couple of Band-Aids, plus he has a very kind and fun personality.
The hotel was very clean, parking lot was also very clean. Easy to access property, felt safe and secure the whole time. Actual room is a little smaller than others I've stayed in but it really was perfect for traveling alone. Shower was great, good water pressure, slip resistant.
Room smelled like urine, candy wrappers on floor under bed, television did not work, toilet was loose and wobbled, toilet seat was loose, staff acted bothered that we travelled with a pet. Breakfast was hot with two types of scrambled eggs and sausage. Person working breakfast was the only friendly person we encountered
We drove from Houston to Santa Fe for a 3 night stay. This was one of the more inexpensive hotels we found, but it was still pricy at almost $200/night Let's start with the positives! * extremely friendly staff! They were wonderful! * wonderful breakfast! We enjoyed the breakfast every morning two types of eggs, sausage, tortilla, chilis, muffins, yogurt, “popcakes”, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, toast, coffee, tea, and juice! * near chain restaurants and shopping *refrigerator works great. Even had a separate freezer that was great to refreeze our ice packs. * five minutes from Meow Wolf - a must see! Now for some negatives. Whoever took the pictures for this hotel was amazing. They made it look spectacular! * our room was extremely small. There were 3 of us and a small dog and we were tripping all over each other. Maybe because there is very little storage. We couldn't unpack. * the floor was filthy. Granted, we did have our dog with us so I'm sure we didn't get the best room, but we also couldn't walk barefoot. * a/c unit was loud and seemed to be on its last legs. * no closet in the room. * we didn't need a tub, which was good because there wasn't one. * if you are looking for a hotel with a workout room, this has one but I felt like the a/c was off in there. The equipment was dirty especially the yoga mat. And not much of a variety of weights. * the pool was very small and looks a lot bigger in the photos * this is a pet friendly hotel but doesn't have a pet relief area. Which means there is zero grass around the hotel. There is a “field” across the street but it's full of burrs. * our tv always defaulted to a smaller screen with the other half of the screen being a menu. Our directv remote couldn't fix it, so a front desk employee had to come down a few times with the master remote. Not sure why the room didn't have a master remote, but after day two we just made do with the small screen. If it wasn't for the staff and the breakfast, this hotel would have received 1 1/2 stars. Like I said, the staff was WONDERFUL!!
Can't wait to return!Food was wonderful. Room was wonderful. Overall great experience We brought our 10 year old son and he loved the room. We loved the breakfast over everything. The equipment was great…we didn't get to swim because of the weather.
General Manager Danielle Rockwood brings an Exceptional level of care & compassion to her title & the most Professional Level of care to her Hotel. Ms. Rockwood is the picture perfect person of a Professional
Our family stayed here for 3 nights in July. The desk clerks were friendly and courteous. The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed hanging out by the firepit in the evening and the pool during the day. The beds were really comfortable and the room was clean. I would definitely stay here again.
The room was musty and walls were thin. They were booked so we couldn't move to a room that didn't have loud dogs next door. We love dogs but don't want to listen to them when owner is away. The internet was intermittent and excuses were vast. First we were told Apple products don't work with their Wi-Fi. Then, we're were told that it was because the hotel was full. But, people were mostly friendly. The location was good for what we wanted to do.
We came with an entire moving party (a 26' moving truck, a trailered car, a dog, a cat, and 3 adults). We received great customer service, a safe place to park our truck, and really good breakfast in the morning. A welcome respite from driving hundreds of miles that day.
No issues in this room. Very quite and comfortable. Fairly close to good eating with easy access to the interstate. The breakfast was good with hot eggs and sausage along with breakfast items normally found at all hotels.
The smallest hotel room I've ever encountered. There was no closet, and the room itself was very shabby. Extremely uncomfortable accommodations. The location was just awful. It really is in the outskirts of Santa Fe, and forget about being able to walk to anyplace decent. And let's not forget about the non-existent restaurant! Avoid this property like the plague!
excellent staff, delicious breakfasts (buffet), clean room and overall a delightful experience for the last 5 years. My granddaughter loves the room and the breakfast and the chance to sit in front of the fireplace. The pool seems clean and functioning although it was too cool to personally use.
Stayed here for a marriage proposal trip. The manager suggested 10000 waves Spa, which we were blown away by. Hotel was good enough that I came home with a YES!! The staff and front desk were more than accommodating.
Upon entering the room the following problems were observed: 1. apparent blood stain on mattress beneath mattress pad 2. food crumbs and dust on counter/desk and on the floor 3. trash and unknown materials under the bed 4. electrical tape on nightstands 5. non-functional room telephone The front desk staff was notified and indicated a similar, queen sized bed room was not available to transfer. A house cleaning staff was sent to the room who dusted the food crumbs and reluctantly vacuumed the carpet. At that time, I called Best Western customer service who indicated hotel management would contact me. A phone call was never received. My main complaint is that for a $179 per night rate I expect a clean room. This motel was the filthiest, outdated Best Western facility to which I have stayed.
On our way to our room on the third floor, we were greeted by a 6 foot high pile of dirty linen on the floor. This room was smaller than the camper I pull behind my truck. The shower stall look like a science fiction pod were people were changed into zombies, tiny. We would not step into it. The toilet had no door on it, but a rickety old sliding piece of plyboard. The tiny space given the toilet had nothing but floor to place anything on. The bathroom sink, because of the tiny room space, was within 1 foot of the bed. The bathroom sink had hardly any room to set a cosmetic bag or shaving kit. The space between the foot of the bed and the desk chair was so small, it did not allow passage of anyone go between them when the office chair was occupied. The desk was very small. THERE IS NO CLOSET. This room has no closet because it is so small. The small fridge and microwave were stacked on top of each other. The heater was the noisiest can which never tuned off.
These are the thumbs up for this hotel: 1) pricing was reasonable, 2) area surrounding hotel is safe and to get to the rooms, you have to go through the hotel's main entrance or side (key card access) entrance, it adds a bit more security, 3) staff were friendly, 4) good breakfast spread that's included in the price of a stay, 5) room was clean although a little small, hotel was clean, 6) because it's located on Cerillos Rd which is a main thoroughfare, it was easy access to restaurants and shopping. Things to note: currently, there's no housekeeping if your stay is more than 1 day due to COVID protocols so have plastic bags handy for your trash. They did not come around to collect our trash. They need to at least do that once every day. Try to ask for a room that's away from the road that runs the side of the hotel, it does get noisy with traffic. I want to give a shout out to the maintenance crew. We didn't have hot water on our last evening there and I wanted to take a shower so badly. I reported it to the front desk and by 9 pm that evening, the hot water was back on. It was an inconvenience but things like that do happen. So thank you to the maintenance crew that got this taken care of! Overall, it was a good stay and if I came back to visit, I would definitely consider this place again.
Rooms were very comfortable and they had an excellent complimentary breakfast. We used the outdoor hot tub however the outdoor pool was green with algae. It was early March when we there so it may not have been warm enough for continued use. I would stay there again. Nice staff.
I had requested a "suite with mountain view" as advertised by your website. We were not given a "suite". The room was quite small and cramped feeling. I did not want that, which was why I requested a suite. I went back to the front desk and was told, "we don't have suites". But I was still charged $150 for the one-night stay in a tiny cramped room while I could have gotten a "regular" room for about $50 less. This is a decent place to stay if you know what you're getting and only pay for what you are getting.
The room is really small. Don't expect to see anyone at the desk you have to ring the bell. Make sure you ask about amenities cause they don't tell you at check in. It's good place if you just need a few hours of sleep
The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful and accommodating..my husband is blind and we have a service dog, the hotel is well laid out and very clean. We will make this a regular stop on our frequent trips from Yuma to Denver.
Chose this hotel because it was listed as a good place to stay and supposed to be one of the better Best Western's. Very disappointing. The room was small and difficult to move around in; the bathroom door was difficult to move. The room was dark and needs a good overhaul. Most of the time there was no one at the front desk. I do not recommend this as a place to stay.
The accomodations are in need of some TLC, and general updating/refreshing. The room was small, which was fine since it was just me and my small dog. Since it was small, it wouldn't take much to make it more appealing, in terms of some some fun color and character.
The pictures depict a nice and comfortable hotel. Upon arrival and check-in, it was apparent that the hotel was not upgraded. The rooms are small, beds uncomfortable, everything is outdated, and the shower looked like it had mold on the top. The bathroom sliding door didn't close. The breakfast was nothing impressive. I should've believed the other reviews.
I needed a hotel on the southside of Santa Fe. I almost always choose the best Western and belong to the rewards program. This is my first time staying in one of these collections. I was very pleased with the accommodations. The hotel was clean, seemed pretty new, and was well located to leave early in the morning and get on the road. Also convenient to Santa Fe if you wanted to go into town.
First it's a great property in a good location. It is a smaller priced and therefore smaller version of. Est Western. Rooms are smaller. Expect that but still very comfortable and clean. Staff was great and property looks very good. Let me say again. Rooms are smallish. Two people no problem as long as you like each other. Pocket door in bathroom. Step in shower. But room enough to be comfortable. Nicely appointed. Hot water comfortable beds.
This property is in need of a serious upgrade. The rugs and rooms are 30+ years old. Shame on Best Western. Our room was clean. Hotel corridor rugs were dirty. There were pancakes, wrapped cereal and muffins for breakfast. Minimal. Cannot recommend this hotel.
This hotel has the smallest room we have ever stayed in! Plus, on arrival the toilet seat was broken - with “Covid cleaning” how bad is the staff that didn't notice a missing toilet seat screw??!! We were moved to an identical room with no help from the staff to move our bags (we are seniors) nor an apology or room upgrade for our inconvenience:-(
Rooms are small. Breakfast could have been better. Should have had a full breakfast.Did like the pool and hot tub. The prices were outrageous to purchase drinks. 1 can of soda was 3.00. No vending machines. I have paid less for a hotel and its was way better.
Quiet place away from the congestion. VERY comfortable beds made for a great sleep after a long day of travel. Small, but nice pool. Courteous and professional staff. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.
Don't let the lack of a Best Western sign out front fool you. This is a lovely Best Western faculty. The staff at all levels we came in contact with where friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. The rooms are clean and nice. I particularly love the layout of the shower and toilet rooms. The pool, hot tub, and sauna are all open, in working order, and clean. Breakfast was ok. Hopefully as COVID issues decrease the breakfast will improve. I would definitely stay again. Almost forgot the bedding and pillows are up to Best Westerns fluffy wonderful standards.
great hotel and have stayed there twice, but this review is mainly for Oscar who was working the desk the second week in July - fantastic customer service and truly stand up guy, thank so much for your help !!!
Despite the fact that a pandemic is ongoing the hotel maintains extremely sanitary conditions. They had the swimming pool & gym open as well as doing thier best to provide a breakfast although they were missing items they did thier best.
Our family used to love to stay here everytime we came to Santa Fe. It was a local gem and a favorite. Sadly this time the hotel fell seriously short. Understanding that many hotels changed things due to Covid, it almost seems like this location is using that as an excuse to provide inferiour service. Breakfast used to be great, now it's terrible. We had to get clean towels from the pool area just to have fresh towels as our room was never cleaned during our three night stay. Many repairs and updates are needed. Trash was not kept empty at the entrance. The firepit in the pool area was filled with trash and broken. Definitely not the same hotel it was just a couple of years ago!
This hotel is decent enough, especially for the price. The room was kind of small, but clean and beds comfortable. We didn't like that the breakfast is still "grab and go" as we had to wait for a lady to get off the phone to hand it to us, and the food we were given was not great. All the other hotels we stayed at on our trip had re-opened breakfast. We ended up having to go out to eat, which was disappointing and an added expense. Otherwise, this hotel is fine.
OK place to stay for a day or 2, economical with a box breakfast of orange juice and muffin. I'm glad there was a microwave and fridge in the room. Walmart is across the street, just a short drive away. There is not much in the area, must drive to get anywhere fun.
Calling something disabled accessible when it isn't is false advertising. A tiny room with no room to maneuver disabled equipment is wrong! No tub access except grab bars, no seat is wrong, no hand held shower is wrong! Do not call it something it's not. Do not stay here if you're disabled and need what you paid for!
We arrived late after a very long drive. Check in was quick and easy. The hotel was clearly following the recommended COVID safety protocols. The decor and art were very unique and tasteful. The room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.
I've been staying here on and off for the past 6 months because the location is perfect, close to my doctors and the rooms are comfortable and convenient. It is literally one hop to the bathroom from the bed which was ideal when my leg was injured. Also the harder beds are great for my back. However the housekeeping and maintenance is questionable making it difficult to find a room that doesn't have significant problems. I rejected rooms for having really bad smells, shredded curtains and feces in the toilet, but apparently that is frowned upon as being a "difficult guest" and I should be 'more like the film crew people who stay and never complain.' Okaay...film crew people don't pay for their own rooms and are so exhausted they'd be happy sleeping on a hard floor. Anyway, one visit the sheets stunk so badly I had to change them in the middle of the night. My last stay the TV did not work at all and the heater was impossible to adjust with the stripped dials. So I had no heat and no TV, in Feb! When I complained to the GM she refused to give me a refund and told me I should find another hotel since they can't make me happy. Such a copout instead of taking responsibility! I reminded her that I am a guest, not an employee who should've reported these issues to them instead. The computer in the lobby never ever worked the whole time. I really tried to resolve my relationship with the GM but after attempting another stay, the place is so polluted with construction debris from the crews staying there, I could barely breathe and will now never return. So here's the review I held back on for months. Wish I could say it was worth it.
The hotel was clean and the room was big enough for two if us. The bathroom was super nice specially the shower, it is a simple shower but I find it comfortable. They were really well prepared for covid times. Every day you can ask for a really complete breakfast. It was a bag including many things, making it a nice breakfast. It is quite far from downtown and main attractions but it is easy to get there by car in about 10 min.
I stayed here in early Nov 2020. I was thoroughly impressed with the customer service from Oscar. He was very informative about the hotel services during Covid restrictions, he helped with making sure my stay here was exceptional. I would recommend staying at this hotel to others.
We stayed here while traveling on our vacation out west to visit The Grand Canyon . We stayed in other hotels including Best Western along the way. However, this hotel was our worst experience. This hotel is very dated. We noticed that the hallway to our room was very warm. And, as we entered our room it was very hot and the air conditioning was off. We immediately turned it on. However, the room never seemed to cool down. We were so exhausted after traveling so far and arriving late that we just suffered through to the morning. When I reported to the front desk. The lady said the most she could do was take off $15 until she talked with her manager. I never heard anything else. I chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the expressway and the reviews I read were mostly good. However, I was very disappointed. And, would definitely not recommend this hotel.
This is me and my families first time to Santa Fe, and we ended up getting a good deal on priceline for this hotel, and I couldn't have been for thankful for this awesome hotel!!! We ended up getting a room on the mountain side, so we can have a nice view to look at. We absolutely LOVED the ambience of the hotel (all of the southwestern art). The room we had was nice, super clean, the beds were comfortable, the shower had good water pressure, and the air conditioner worked well. The staff was very nice as well.
This is a good LOCATION when traveling - close to highway but not right on the road. Good parking though the lot was pretty cluttered with trash and trash cans overflowing. The place is sorely in need of updates. Room was dark/ small and felt claustrophobic. AC was LOUD and constant despite adjustments. Towels were postage size and not at all soft. It was in expensive and convenient; we traveled for 5 days and 4 nights and at the end decided it is worth a few more pennies to say in a place that was a little more comfortable. We appreciated that we could have our pup with us but she barely had room to wag her tail! Disappointed in my last couple of stays in Best Westerns.... Not use I will use this chain again.
The room was clean and well decorated. Nice haircare products and even nicer breakfast to go bags. Most hotels throw some undesirable products into a brown paper bag, but this hotel gave juice, a delicious homemade pie and fruit in a cute bag with the hotels name printed on it. I felt like they went out of their way to make us feel satisfied even though it wasn't a full breakfast. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again and left us with a good feeling for the Santa Fe area.
2nd time I've stayed and I will definitely be back. New management is fantastic. Oscars and Stacie are great. Everyone really seems to like working here. Kudos. Very clean. Great stopping point between Colorado and AZ. (View fm my room)
I have been staying at this hotel for over 6 years. My son and family live only 3 miles from the hotel but there are times like birthdays where too many visitors stay with them, and I prefer a hotel. I have NEVER had any problems with cleanliness, breakfast buffet, pool or assistance! I highly recommend this hotel!
We had a nice stay here. We only stayed for 1 night. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful. This was a really good hotel for the price. The location was also great! I would recommend this hotel to friends.
We rolled onto Santa Fe late at night and took a chance on this hotel. We were not disappointed. The room was modern and very clean. Breakfast was fine and the staff very nice. We would go there again.
Hotel needs to be updated. Mattress needs to be changed. Room was the size of a postage stamp. Restaurant gave same excuse for poor service as they did 7 years ago. Carpets on stairs dirty. Only one ice machine on a different floor and at the far end of another hall. TV died on last day. Room rate mysteriously changed from Friday to Sunday when I checked out. Took clerk over 15 minutes to correct.
I recently stayed for 3 nights at the Inn at Santa Fe. I was there for a work training and had my family and dog along as well. It is a relatively small property, with small rooms, but they were comfortable. We were there in January, so the pool was closed but the Jacuzzi was nice. My daughter swam in it several times a day. The meeting space was nice with a door to an outside patio. The only problem we had was that the projector screen wouldn't stay raised, but we made do. Now, the absolute BEST thing about this property was the service. I can't say enough about them. The staff was amazing! From the reservation and event planners, to the front desk staff, to the food servers and cleaning crew...Everyone had a smile. Everyone went above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. I had a wonderful time interacting with them and would definitely stay there again.
This hotel is OK but the pet fee charged ($25) was almost 1/3 of the cost of the room. Our small dog was with us and we were honest with the front desk in saying that he would be in the room. They advertise "Pet Friendly". They may be pet friendly but they aren't owner friendly.
I stayed here while at a con Ed class. The staff and room were great. I'd definitely stay here again. I felt very welcome and secure. Also the food was on point and the staff was gracious, helpful, and efficient!
While it's a little way from downtown, the Inn at Santa Fe is a great spot to stay if you have a car and want to explore the area. MeowWolf is nearby; downtown is 15 minutes or so (with traffic). They have a huge hot breakfast-- the best scrambled eggs in town!-- and a pool/hot tub in the summer. Oscar at the front desk is always friendly and helpful. This is my go-to hotel for affordable travel in Santa Fe.
We have been coming to this hotel since 2003. Rooms are clean, complimentary breakfast is awesome offering a great selection of hot food. The staff there is the best, very helpful and friendly. We enjoy meeting Oscar as our welcoming staff, have spoke with Danielle over the phone and several others. We joined the rewards program since we stay there so much every year. We'll be back in May sometime! Thanks to everyone there !
We were there for one night, the hotel was Excellent, great location, great breakfast, exceeded our expectations. Check in staff met the accommodations that I had forgotten to include on reservation, very friendly. We would stay again when going to or through Santa Fe.
I'm really glad we picked this place for our overnight ...great parking..friendly staff..had no problems during our stay...it was a little to cold for the hot tub but alls ok, they gave a restaurant on site so we didn't have to drive anywhere the fireplace in the restaurant added a nice feel and I thought breakfast was pretty good
Though I experienced some issues this last visit, I still would recommend this hotel! They staff are excellent, the breakfast is probably one of the best quality that you will find at a hotel. The hot tub is always working, and a great way to spend an evening. The restaurant serves great food, and they have a happy hour!
My son lives 5 minutes from the hotel but sometimes it is more convenient to stay at a hotel and I have been staying here for 6 years now and have NEVER had a problem. It is quiet and, well, there is nothing negative to say!
Sleep quality and low noise are excellent. The hot tub and pool are outside, helps to know that beforehand. The breakfast amazing and specific to New Mexico. I was pleased that this is a BW option and would stay again.
Upon check in, the clerk asked me if I wanted to change my reservation of 2 twins (which I didn't even know they had) to a queen. I said yes not knowing the type of "queen" this was. Turns out this room has a hide-a-bed and not a standard bed. It was terrible. Like sleeping on a couch pullout. I had stayed a week at this hotel a month earlier in a regular room. Although, smaller, I would definitely ask for a real bed. This hotel is also about as far away from any of the sites as you can get. Unless you are visiting the Department of Corrections I would not choose this hotel.
I had an excellent stay here. The room was great, the employees were very nice and helpful. I would have loved to have been able to take advantage of the breakfast offered but I did grab coffee on my way out and it was just delicious.
The adobe motif is everywhere in Santa Fe, so it is no surprise to find it in the Best Western. The art on the walls, on display, even in the elevators, was very good to see. The breakfast was especially good, with the nicest decor we have encountered on this trip.
Nice hotel with easy access to surrounding locations. Tesla Electric Vehicle travelers will really appreciate the chargers located in the adjacent parking lot. They went out of their way to accommodate our visit during the busy Hot Air Balloon days.
Booked a room with Best Western, but no road frontage signs indicating the hotel except Inn at Santa Fe. Very frustrating to locate, tried to call hotel but after 49 rings with no one picking up, I gave up and stopped somewhere to ask where it was. Front desk clerk was no where to be seen, and stood there a minute shy of 10, waiting for clerk to show up. Finally got the room and it was so small, husband and I could barely move around in there. No closet or space for clothes, or place for duffle bags. Shower had hair in the wall which was not ours. Was glad only there one night only.
I had a wonderful weekend at the inn at Santa Fe. The staff alone makes this hotel shine. Kudos to everyone. Shout out to Oscar, Tammy & Kanye who showed me great service. Breakfast was the best breakfast I've had on my trip. This was my first time in Santa Fe and I hope to be back just to see the friendly staff again someday. Bravo!
The location is great if you want to hop on and off the interstate and avoid Santa Fe traffic. There are some fast food and sit down restaurants nearby, and it is close to a new Presbyterian hospital. The hotel is located away from the Plaza and would not be convenient if you are wanting to be close to it. I have a bad back and the beds (and pillows) are the most comfortable I've ever slept on in a hotel - firm but with a pillow top. The fitness center is small and a bit too warm but has a variety of machines. Breakfast is nice with biscochito muffins, hot items, and some southwest choices. Kain who works at the front desk has always been super-helpful with our requests and questions.
The guy checking us in was very friendly and knowlegble about the area, which was very helpful to let us know good places to go eat and etc. The breakfast was awesome. Rooms Were nice and beds very comfortable.
(My first review) what a great hotel this was. I am very happy with my overall experience at the inn at Santa Fe. Wonderful staff! Mark in the bar was so fun and Oscar at the desk was great! Everyone seems genuinely happy here. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone I know traveling through Santa Fe.
As a manager of a 4-star resort, I was blown away by the amazing customer service provided at the Inn at Santa Fe. Oscar, Danielle, Jorge, and Eric all do an outstanding job taking care of the property and the guest at the hotel. Friendly and efficient at every moment, I would hire this staff at any property I might work at as they truly understand the meaning of customer service. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great stay while in Santa Fe.
Well I've been in santa fe for business for that last 2 monthes.. and this place is really the only place I stay.. I've tried everywhere here and it's really the best bet.. the hot tub area is really nice and the restaurant makes really good food.. theres no hidden fees or anything. So far theres only one front desk guy that needs an attitude adjustment.. but I hardly run into him... he has glasses btw... if you are really looking at staying in santa fe.. this place beats out those 5 star places by a mile.. trust me
I recently spent a week here and everyone at this hotel was super. The desk staff was always extremely courteous and helpful and made it easy to extend a reservation. Housekeeping was great and very accommodating when I needed an extra item. There's a really nice free breakfast in a very large, pleasant room. The food was excellent and there are several very good Southwestern items for breakfast. The room was super comfortable and very quiet. The WIFI worked perfectly and was very fast. This hotel is an excellent location - it's in a very quiet area, about 10 minutes from downtown Santa Fe. Can't wait to get back here.
The rooms are comfortable, quiet and remarkably well apportioned. Every possible amenity you could expect. Microwave. Refrigerator with a separate freezer, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, etc. Nice desk area, digital safe for your valuables, flat screen TV. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is really not've, the shower was exceptional, spacious and well lit. The front desk staff was courteous and engaging. You couldn't choose better.
The room was clean and comfortable, especially the firm bed. The location is great - easy and convenient to get back on the freeway. The breakfast had wonderful fresh baked muffins and a delicious omelet with chorizo and green chile.
While this hotel does have a lot of charm in its decor, the staff was never at the desk you always had to wait for someone to appear from a back office. Our room was small and there was not enough room for our luggage. The bathroom reminded me of a cruise ship bathroom with a standing shower only and a pocket door. The ice machine was also old and did not make very much ice. The beds were comfortable and I did not notice any noise. It was raining so we were not able to use the pool or hot tub. Dinner is available but we did not use that service. Breakfast was in the same space and was adequate. The attendant for breakfast did not seem to be able to keep up with restocking but he was bustling the entire time we were there. Overall our stay was okay but I would probably try another hotel if I am in the area.
We enjoyed our clean room, friendly service, nice breakfast dining room along with the best hotel breakfast. The pool area was updated and clean. The hotel parking lot was well lit, with ample parking. To get to the historical sites of Santa Fe you will have to drive 10-20 minutes depending on traffic to get to the Plaza area. Not a big deal as you can find parking down there on the street or in the parking garage. We love Santa Fe!
I was woken up 4 times last night, and right now, someone in the room above me is letting their kid run around, jump and stomp across the floor. Yes, it's really loud in my room, and it's late. I was woken up this morning by the alarm in the room next to mine. So VERY thin walls. Other than that, a good property. If you are about to travel, DON'T STOMP ON THE FLOOR OF A HOTEL. You share walls.
Requested mountain view room fo $40/night extra. Got view of mall and was told there is no mountain view from hotel. Counted on breakfast for 6 mornings and they were out of food, coffee, silverware & cups each meal. When multiple guests complained to food service staff, we overheard the manager saying "she's bitchy". Front desk, no help. With food service and front desk entitlement attitudes, they all should be fired. DON'T STAY HERE. there are other hotels on the same street. Other guests complained that the advertised shuttle to downtown was non-existent.
Don't know what are began I'll keep it simple it's not what it says it's supposed to be on the website. People had a wait in line for their breakfast they ran out of food and all I got was an attitude from the front desk We had to go somewhere else to eat
I stayed with my mother and two young children. We had a dance competition in Albuquerque and I didn't feel safe staying there. I am so glad we made the decision to stay at the Inn at Santa Fe. It is a charming, slightly older property that has wonderful amenities and a great breakfast. During our stay are used the workout room and found it to be clean and comfortable to use. The hotel is safe and family friendly. We will stay again next year when we come back to the area. The prices are great and included our breakfast the use of a swimming pool and workout facility. I would highly recommend this hotel.
This hotel's parking lot shares a parking lot with an Outlet Mall.......that's right an Outlet Mall!! First time in Santa Fe, had a blast. Easy access to the highway, very close to all of the amenities that you need for family vacation. The staff was excellent, the full service breakfast was perfect for a family that needs a quick bite. The price makes this a very good value for Santa Fe, thank you Best Western for your hospitality. I will most certainly be staying here on my next visit!
My partner and I are not superstitious, but we are fairly certain the room is haunted. Both of us in the room suffered nightmares and we decided to check out at 2 am because of uncomfortable atmosphere of the room (with a large mirror directly opposite the bed, which is traditionally really bad Feng shui) and a foul sulfur odor coming from the mattress/ wall, in addition to a crows nest (also a bad omen) directly outside the window of room 304. Hotel was cool but we will not return, sad to have missed breakfast. AWESOME TOILETRY SELECTION The hot tub was bath water temperature, sauna wasn't hot enough either.
Excellent staff, pet-friendly spot just off the interstate, close to Starbucks and gas station. Rooms are not in the best shape, but when you travel with pets, that's not usually your biggest concern.
This hotel is well out from most tourist attractions but it is still a very good value for the price. The room was very clean , the bathroom was a nice size and the bed was perfect. There is a reasonably priced restaurant in the hotel and that is where they set out the free breakfast, which has a very nice variety each morning.
Very pleasant hotel that's a great value for the money. The staff were polite, professional and helpful and there was no issue with my dogs staying with me. Breakfast was also included in the price and was better than most hotel breakfasts. We'll definitely stay again.
Very nice little hotel, clean & comfortable. Close to I-25 so convenient for people traveling through. Very friendly & helpful staff, pet-friendly rooms available. EXCELLENT breakfast with attentive person keeping many options supplied. Much better than most free hotel breakfasts. Positive experience!
Enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We wanted something clean with easy access to the Santa Fe airport and this hotel is perfect. Staff was very friendly and hotel is great value for the price. Would stay again for sure.
The best experience I have ever had in staying at the Inn Santa Fe! Definitely coming back. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant staff not to mention housekeeping and maintenance crew were amazing!!!
What a great place to stay. The room was on the small side but it was very clean and the bed was great. The breakfast exceeded my expectations for what I consider a value priced stay and I noticed there was a minimal upcharge for a mini-suite. The location was great. I was in town for a wedding and not used to traveling solo but I felt safe and the staff was friendly.
While my stay was pleasant, I was most impressed by the excellent customer service. In particular, Oscar at the front desk went out of his way to accommodate my transportation needs. I was in town without a car, and when Uber let me down, Oscar not only gave me a lift to downtown in the evening, he also took me to the airport early the following morning. And when I was billed for my stay, rather than the third party who was picking up the tab, Oscar immediately corrected the problem. He's a generous, solicitous employee who deserves recognition for his fine work. Thanks, Oscar!
We spent two nights at this hotel on a recent spring break trip. There were some things that we really liked about the hotel but also a few problems that we encountered. The Good Breakfast was delicious and offered many options, including scrambled eggs, various oatmeal, chorizo scramble, beans, toast, apples, oranges, home fries, juices, a pancake machine, cereal, sausage, and homemade muffins. The shower in our room was spacious and the temperature was consistent. The front desk staff were pleasant. The TV had hundreds of channels including some premium content in the form of HBO and its various offerings. The Bad The walls at this hotel are very thin and we could hear every noise in adjacent rooms and in the hallways. I could not sleep past 7:00 AM as doors from other rooms would slam, causing our walls to vibrate. In addition, there was an annoying buzzing coming from the room above us. It sounded like an alarm going off and it wouldn't stop. It began at 7:00 AM and continued on and off for another 30 minutes each morning. We think it was just another guest who kept hitting snooze as knocking on the ceiling got the alarm to stop. This just further illustrates the lack of soundproofing at this hotel. The hotel's only source of water was a lemon and lime infused water cooler in the breakfast area. This water was very acidic and did not taste good at all. We later discovered that there was a water cooler in the workout room, but it was too late to benefit us. There was a safe in the room located near the ceiling. It had a door that swung open into the room. While retrieving items from my suitcase, I frequently came close to smashing my head on the safe door. It was not possible to keep this door closed unless we locked the safe. There was a strong smell of epoxy when we entered our room. This was not a major problem for us, but it could easily bother guests prone to headaches from such odors. We also found a screw on the floor near the bathroom. This made us question how carefully the room had been cleaned, as a simple vacuuming should have taken care of this screw. All in all, our stay here wasn't too bad, but it certainly had some issues. Because of the noise and difficulty of sleeping, I would not choose to stay here again.
This place has decent ratings across the board, but, based on what will be our one and only night ever here, I cannot give it any more than 1 star. We were traveling with our dogs, so booked a pet-friendly room. Immediately upon opening the door, we were assailed with musty, wet dog, too many animals have stayed here and left their mark smells. We turned on the ac hoping that would help, which it didn't. Looking around the room, it's obvious it hasn't been thoroughly cleaned in some time. If we hadn't already had a long day in the car, we would have tried to find someplace else to stay. Maybe the other rooms are nicer, but this one, ugh!!
The Inn at Santa Fe Hotel is a comfortable small hotel with all the amenities and friendly staff. The winebar was pleasant and Billy was very friendly and fun. Oscar at the front desk was very accommodating and assisted however he could. There are outlet stores nearby and a great breakfast in the am as well. I would definitely stay here again!
This is a very nice little hotel with a lot of heart. The staff was welcoming and I was tired after a long drive through a blizzard. A fireplace in the bar/restaurine was inviting as we as the spa in the inner courtyard. My room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed a snack from the restaurant at happy hour and every one was so nice. On the main drag but at the quiet end of town it is easy to find with ample parking. Next door is a fashion outlet mall for anything you may have forgotten to bring on your trip. I have stayed at several places in Santa Fe and I really liked this nice hotel.
The accommodation for this Hotel was exceptional and the full breakfast was so tasty and plentiful...the location to the 25 freeway was so convenient and the staff so friendly.... I highly recommend this HotelHotel and will return again one day
Recently I spent 5 nights at the Inn at Santa Fe. Enjoyed the fullbreakfast, jacuzzi, and reading the complimentary paper over fresh coffee. Very helpfu staff. It's my Go To place when i visit Santa Fe.
Stayed here because they take dogs and our 2 Boxers love to go. The front desk was helpful in recommendations for directions and places to eat. The serve food, beer and wine in the evening which made it nice on our first night there. The rooms were decent and clean but not to large.
This was my first stay here and I couldn't be happier! Jaime and Billy were very friendly and accommodating. I ate at the cafe every night of my stay and the food was excellent!! Alex is a great cook! This is now my “go to” hotel when I come to Sant Fe, great find!
I have been staying at this hotel for 5 years on and off. My grandchildren live close by and when I want extra time with them I take them to this hotel OR I stay with my husband as we visit. The rooms are clean, service is wonderful and breakfast is something we look forward to. My granddaughter loves to have her breakfast near the fireplace.
Access to interstate is perfect. Free wi-fun is appreciated. Staff makes thoughtful concesions and accommodations for road-weary travelers and their pets. I appreciate them treating our pets like family.
Quaint decor, charming breakfast nook, comfortable room. Very accommodating parking lot, fresh, fresh cooked breakfast buffet and pleasant professional staff. Free wifi, clean hot tub and safe large vehicle parking.
i have to admit, I was a little Leary about staying at this hotel again. I stayed last summer and wasn't impressed AT ALL! I am so grateful I decided to give it another shot. My husband and I were so tired from traveling all day we just wanted to get a room and go straight to bed. At check in we found ourselves chatting away with the beautiful blonde at the front desk, Jamie. She was so welcoming and made us feel comfortable and at home. She told us about happy hour, so we thought why not have a night cap sitting in front of the cozy fireplace. There we had the pleasure of chatting with Jamie again! She even turned into our bartender! I just can't say enough about her and her friendly welcoming nature. Thank you Jamie! We will be back!!
The closing on our house was delayed by about two weeks. This was the ONLY hotel with availability right before Christmas that allowed our 5 dogs. No pet maximum (quantity or size) and only a one time pet fee of $25 - and a pets only wing. It's perfect! The staff members were all exceptional. We self reported to the front desk that our dogs were barking one day when we returned to the hotel, we wanted to see if anyone complained. Not only were there no reports of a complaint, the staff member asked for our room number, asked if the dogs were nice, and said if she hears them bark she'll go into the room and play with them. Who does that???? The bartender, Billy Cawley, was also exceptional. We felt like we were old friends from the minute we met him. The food in the bar was great. We spent much time with him sitting by the fire and look forward to going back just to hang out with him. The room was perfect for the price. The only complaint, and this is no secret, is the amount of help they have for breakfast time. They are very understaffed. One person cooking, cleaning, and providing service. It's just impossible for one person to be successful doing all of this, they run out of food and the dishes pile up. The woman should be commended for all that she does because she is amazing and a great cook. We never were angry about the lack of food because we knew how much pressure she was under — we actually asked if we could help.
It may be a chain but during my stay the staff was immediately personable and went the extra mile for me every time we interacted. The bartender, Billy, was extremely helpful and friendly and made our nights by the fire super cheery. Jaime at the desk hooked me up with a humidifier (extremely necessary for this visitor to the desert) and Jorge and Tony are fantastic shuttle drivers. Danielle at the desk was unfailingly fantastic, too. They erased every fear I had of staying at a chain. Also, the rooms were extremely clean and while I never saw the cleaning staff they should be thanked well!
I have stayed in this hotel several times over several years. The rooms are very small, the carpets are worn and frayed, and the furniture is dilapidated. The desk chair in our room had upholstery that was ripped open in several places. The heat/AC units sometimes function and sometimes not. The door locks do not function properly in several of the rooms. This hotel is sometimes very noisy. The best aspect of this hotel is the included breakfast. This is a two star hotel that would be a decent value at $60-70 per night but, the rates are jacked up to a ridiculous $150 per night during some times of the year. Don't get ripped off by the greedy management at this hotel.
We came to Santa Fe on a spur of the moment and could not be happier with our hotel choice. The hotel is very pet friendly. Our German Shepard made friends with everyone. Jamie, the F&B manager, was phenomenal. She was extremely polite when we were checking in and has always been helpful with any questions we asked. Also, Billy Cawley, the bartender, was outstanding. Friday night when we went down for dinner, the place was packed due to the weather. Billy was not only the bartender, but also the waiter and food server. With all the people that were there, he had a great attitude and was pleasant and accommodating to everyone. Jamie also helped out when she could when she was not helping people at the front desk. We stayed Friday until leaving Monday. We ate there Saturday night and went to have a nightcap on Sunday. We had several interactions with Jamie and Billy. They were always friendly and helpful in every way. I highly recommend this hotel because of the quality of the rooms and the service that Jamie and Billy offered. You will not be disappointed.
My handicapped mother who is 85 yrs. old, my disabled niece and my sister, her husband stayed here on their way from Colorado to Arizona for the Thanksgiving Holiday. When booking the room, I was assured that their would be (2) queen beds in one room, and the other room would be handicapped, queen also. That was not the case, upon arrival they were given a room with twin beds, and the service was not happening. The next morning the breakfast bar was depleted, and no one was around to restock the breakfast items. I would not recommend to anyone, coming or going!
It was our first night in a SureStay Connection hotel. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Room was well equipped and quiet. The location allows easy access to most Santa Fe attractions and to I25. Included Breakfast is very good. Management's concern to eliminate single use plastic or styrofoam was very appreciated. All these positive points made us change our plans and stay another night. We will be back.
1 polite pleasant greeting at front desk 2 charming room 3 honest establishment 4 cafe resturant with good food and beer plus wine 5 well priced 6 restaurant staff great helpful and courteous 7 easy to find 8 Comfortable room I just hope breakfast is good coffee smells fantastic as you walk in
Our truck broke down as we were moving from Denver to Las Vegas, and the Inn at Santa Fe was the closest place to stay. They turned what could have been a disaster into a really enjoyable experience -- well, everything but the part where we had to fix the truck. :) The employees, especially Danielle, went out of their way to help us out when we didn't know how long it might take to get the car fixed -- Danielle let us stay a bit past checkout time with no problem so all our stuff was safe while we waited, and she even gave us lunch recommendations in the meantime. Also the gentleman who checked us in on Wednesday night was incredibly accommodating and had some fun trivia to offer about Santa Fe. :) We could not be more grateful for such friendly faces after a weary day and we will definitely recommend the Inn at Santa Fe to everyone we know whether their truck breaks down or not!
We found this great hotel by the reviews on Trip Advisor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was amazing and had a variety of options plus the staff was constantly replacing fresh food and coffee. The pool was in good condition and heated to perfection, and the hot tub was sooo relaxing! The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job cleaning up the room and replacing used toiletries. All in all, we highly recommend the Inn, in fact we stayed an extra night because we liked it so much!
This hotel is south of the city and has a nice atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is excellent. It's close to everything just up the road. I was here for a week and a half and I will stay here again
As a last minute decision I stayed at the Inn At Santa Fe for 2 days and had a wonderful experience. The Inn itself is clean and charming with a Southwestern feel. The food was good and the location off 25 was easy to drive to. The lady at the front desk, Danielle was helpful setting up the shuttle for me and recommending places to visit and eat. I was able to take a free shuttle back and forth downtown which I would recommend to anyone. The shuttle driver Troy was great. He helped me get my bearings downtown and recommended places to visit and eat. He was familiar with information about the Santa Fe Opera which I went to see. All in all a very good experience.
