Best Western Hotel Kirkwood Inn, Saint Louis

We were skeptical about staying here, based on some reviews written recently. However, I have to say that we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for one night, Saturday, September 17-we were going to see A Chorus Line at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center, and this was the perfect location-only 1.2 miles away. The staff at the desk were very inviting and helpful when we checked in, and also at various times when we had questions. Our room was clean, the beds and pillows were very comfortable, and my husband was impressed with the antislip coating on the tub-a great added amenity. We saw the afternoon show, and returned to the hotel to swim-the sun had gone down and it was chilly, but refreshing after our long day. We also went to Chili's for dinner, conveniently attached to the hotel-no need to move the car! We were very concerned about the breakfast situation, given the number of bad comments about it. I was impressed by the breakfast-plenty of options to choose from, and very well maintained by the breakfast hostess (I did not get her hame, but thanked her for the great job.) There is a 24 hour fitness center, but we did not use it. If staying in the area again, I would certainly return. Thanks for a great stay!

First of all, I find it very amazing how I arrived 10 minutes early to check in and the lady informed me there were no rooms available to check in, then suddenly her shift is over at 3 and BAM just like that I am available to check in. WOW! Second, the internet SUCKS! I tried using three different devices and none of them could get a decent connection. Third, I am bald. There were long hairs EVERYWHERE in the bed and the bathroom. I didn't even use the shower because I was afraid it wasn't even cleaned. Fourth, I was 'conveniently' placed between one room which had several small children who don't know how to use their inside voices and were screaming all the time. And the other room had a small ankle biter mutt that wouldn't shut the hell up. I did walk to the Chili's on site and drank myself to sleep. I stayed here a year ago and thought it would be nice to return to this location, nah, next year I'm staying somewhere else.

We really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars, but questionable cleanliness prevented that. Out of the several hotels we stayed in on our recent road trip, this one had the most amenities but was also the least clean. There was a long trail of very gross dried brown liquid running down most of the wall, as well as some spider webs that had clearly been there awhile. It was shocking to see that housekeeping hadn't cleaned that stuff and it made us question how clean the rest of the room was. A couple other minor issues… the bathroom was so small you couldn't stand at the sink with the door open. And it was disappointing that there was no microwave. But there were many positives: very friendly staff; quick, easy check-in; nice, large, comfortable rooms; a Chili's restaurant inside the hotel; a Dunkin' right in the parking lot; and both a Target and Walmart within easy walking distance near the parking lot. There were also plenty of restaurants very near the hotel. Overall, other than the cleanliness issue, this hotel was fantastic. We'd recommend it, but we'd like to see more attention to detail when it comes to cleaning. -The PowerTrippers

In fairness, the front staff were friendly, beds & pillows were comfortable. The bathrooms were not friendly to the AARP crowd. The toilets were down too low. There were no grab Bars in the bath tub - DANGEROUS! We came for breakfast at 8:45 and everything was depleted! Staff were working but did nothing to fix the hot foods on the line. The electrical plugs on the lamps were worn out & were useless for charging our electronics & phones. Upgrades are needed NOW. I'll pick another hotel next time I'm in town.

I have stayed at this hotel a few time over the past couple of years. The staff is always friendly & helpful, and the lobby, breakfast area, and pool are well kept and welcoming. The rooms are well set up and clean but are in need of an update. The bed, bedding, and carpet are getting a bit worn.

Common areas of facility are nice... but the room that we were in needed improvements. We were on the 6th (top) floor, and the room should have been remodeled 5 years ago. The carpet was stained, the A/C unit was dirty and appeared to have mold/mildew on it, the bathroom tub was either dirty or stained on the bottom, the bathroom light fixture was starting to rust, and the cover for the bathroom vent fan was only held on by one screw, and was trying to fall off of the wall. The comfort for the mattresses were fair and they appeared to be older (not pillow tops). Just a thorough and deep cleaning of the room would have made a big difference. Maybe rooms on the lower floors are better, and have already been improved/remodeled? The breakfast area is fine, but is much too small for a six story motel. It had too many tables in it, and it was tight and crowded. Food selection was good, but food started to run out as early at 8am. Outdoor pool was still open as of mid-September. Was fine but a bit chilly as summer comes to an end. Front desk service was excellent.

The staff here was excellent; helped me find the best corporate rate at 9PM on a weeknight. There's a Chili's restaurant attached, complete with a cocktail bar. Fast internet and decent TV with hookups for your apps

Room was fine. Don't expect breakfast or friendly staff. We went down 30 minute's before it breakfast closed it was crazy busy. Just got coffee. The breakfast attendant actually cut in front of me,reached over and got got her some coffee, Said it was busy,better get me some now. Came back 15 minutes later hoping there was a table. There was no food left,ok fine. So I wait 10 minutes in the waffle maker line,cause thats all there is. Get half a cup of waffle batter,ok fine. But then literally have the breakfast attendant tell me there are closing in five minutes I need to move. Im like ok,Ive been waiting here 10 minutes. Get my waffle and set down. There are probably 20 people in the seating area and the breakfast attendant comes out and yells at everyone its 9,you need to leave we needs to clean these table. Get your stuff and get out. For $243 a night,I can do better.

We always prefer BW rewards if possible! The Veterans discount and the handicap accessible rooms are appreciated. Always convenient location to final destination. Breakfast is usually more than adequate ..

The hotel was nice and clean, the kids had fun in the outdoor pool. The big selling point is the staff. There was a mix-up when booking my 2 night stay(not their fault, the reservation hotline made things confusing). I called the location directly and the lady who answered the phone could not have been any nicer, and got the confusion solved immediately. When we arrived the guy at the front really rolled out the red carpet. He was very welcoming and made it feel like they had been expecting us(no long search for our reservation). When he saw us heading down to the pool after unpacking, he made sure to run a fresh stack of towels out to the pool and even dropped a small stack off at the table we were sitting at. It was like having a personal attendant.

Great hot breakfast, comfy bed, fast internet, friendly staff, nice pool and plenty of free parking. Extremely clean rooms and common areas. Easy to find and great location with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Highly recommend!

Disappointed in the shape of the hotel. Elevator is so small that the luggage cart and one person can fit in the elevator. 4 persons max! Staff is friendly. Sad to have used my points for this establishment. This should be an $89 dollar per night establishment. I will be staying elsewhere in the future.

This hotel was conveniently located. Rooms were very clean and the employees were very friendly and eager to help if needed. The pool was clean and very nice. You saw them testing the water as well as furnishing towels and being sure there was some always available. They kept the pool area picked up from trash garbage and cigarette ashes.

Reservations for ground floor room. Had to have second floor room but air conditioning was not working. Moved to the 6th floor looking down at Chili's restaurant roof and smelled chili's all night. I have leg pain hard for me to walk. No help on moving.

I was so excited for vacation, 9.5 hour drive. I just want to lay out in the nice weather by the pool. Wouldn't have to spend much money. We got there and people were swimming, went upstairs to change and by the time we got down stairs it was closed for sanitary reasons. Have to sit in hotel room for three days while its closed, not much to do without spending a lot of money. Just very disappointed. They said there was a pool down the road but it would have cost us $75 when we already paid the money for a hotel with a pool. Wish they had some type of back up plan like a deal with another hotel or the public pool. Just sucky luck I guess. Rooms were ok, beds are average not very comfy.

And we again apologize that we were forced to close our outdoor pool. It was due to a hygiene incident and per Health Department regulations we are required to shock and then filter the 35,00 gallons of water in the pool 12 times. Consequently, this is a laborious process which takes 36 hours; but ensures the water is safe for our guests. We are sorry that the alternatives we offered were not acceptable. As a note, we did reach out to another hotel 4 blocks to our south, but found that their pool was closed for renovation. Our sincere apology for an inconvenience we could not anticipate. We checked into this property to escape the 88 degree temperature in our nearby home which had lost cooling because of a broken a/c. The front desk staff was welcoming and helped us get checked in quickly to a room that met all of our requests (It was 9:30 PM!). They were so very caring and professional. The room was very clean, quiet and COOL. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and fresh (no brown bananas!) Every staff member was friendly , the public areas are clean and attractive. We managed to get through this heat crisis with the help of this Best Western! Thank you!

The hotel seemed clean until we got to our room. There were dark splatters under the bathroom sink. The side tables and lamps were sticky like a soda had exploded. I would not recommend staying there if you like a clean room.

Quoted rate in the morning when we called had increased 20% by the time we arrived. We had spoken to the front desk early that morning who assured us rooms would be available. We didn't reserve ahead because of the long distance and we weren't sure of arriving that day. No manager available to speak to when we arrived or the next day even though we were told she'd be available at 8am the next day when we checked out. We left a couple of messages over the next 2 days for Cynthia but she didn't return our call. When we reached her 3 days later she was abrupt, unfriendly and unhelpful, and said she had never gotten our messages. We had trouble with our room during our stay too. The lock didn't work on the door and the television system was incomprehensible. Front desk staff— two young men were helpful. Breakfast lady was great. But I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to poor customer service and attitude of management.

The coffee could have been stronger but otherwise great value, great staff, great location!! The fitness room was well maintained and while we did not use the bar or restaurant they were very accessible.

We were here only 1 night, but had a great stay. Room was clean and Quiet and an average sized room. Well maintained. There was a Refrigerator as well. Great breakfast- What made it so nice were the 2 ladies who worked their butts off keeping everything filled, clean & hot. One was named Ms. Sharon. Both were nice ladies. The other lady who replenished the food checked to see if anyone still there needed anything more, even after breakfast time was up, I thought that was really nice. Eggs, sausage, make your own waffles, ceral, biscuits & gravy, variety of muffins & breads, potatoes, fruit. Lots of drink options.

I use Best Western every time I come to visit my daughter who attends Webster University. So I am here 4 times a school year. It is close to the campus and close to shops and restaurants. Besides the Chile's restaurant on site- there is a Donkin Donut in the parking lot attached to the property. I could walk to many places if I didn't want to drive- Lowe's . It is perfect for me.

The hotel is very nice and artsy. I was impressed with the decorating My son loved the hot breakfast with a sausage egg dish, sausages, biscuits and gravy, waffles, yogurt, and great coffee among other things. It is from 6:00-9:00 but get there early. It gets packed with procrastinators about 8:30 a.m. The employees were very nice. One thing I found unique is that the ground floor rooms had sliding doors from the room to the outside. If I were traveling with a pet, I would love that. There is a great Walmart and other stores right in the shopping area. Plus, a Dunkin Donuts is feet away. This hotel has a bar and restaurant in it. It was a very convenient location. The only downside that might make me think twice is the wi-fi was the worst I have had traveling.

Everything about this hotel was better than expected. I usually would not comment on decor but this was outstanding. There was a cohesive and artistic decor that makes you immediately feel like you are in a high end boutique hotel. The front desk people had numerous people checking in a once and handled everything quickly and professionally, They were super helpful! Our room was really nice and clean. I have Celiac's disease and cannot eat gluten. I brought some of my own gluten free food which I hoped to heat up there. They don't have an in room microwave but were awesome enough to let me use the breakfast area microwave. I really appreciated that. The breakfast was really good. The attendant was always busy and focusing on cleaning and making sure everything was operating properly. She did a great job. I heard a table of older people being rude and sort of ordering her around and she handled it so well. She was helpful and friendly despite their bad manners, I will for sure stay there again. The pics online do not do the place justice. The hotel was full when we were there - for a reason. Excellent room, atmosphere, and staff. They do it right here.

The staff are friendly and efficient and greeted us with a smile. This hotel is updated and clean. The bed is comfortable. The location is great, right off Highway 44 so it is easy to get where you need to be in the St Louis area. It is a great value.

I travel with my dog so "pet friendly" is a must. The hotel is clean and appears to be updated. Right in the middle of a shopping area surrounded by restaurants. A Target, Walmart, Texas Road House, and Dunkin Donuts (plus others) are in the same complex. You can get room service from Chili's, which is attached to the hotel. For those traveling with dogs, the first floor has sliding glass doors on the back side of the room so you can walk your fur buddy on grass, and not have to go down the hallway or use the elevators. But make sure you note that there is a $30 surcharge PER NIGHT for your pet. It's posted on the web site but it caught me by surprise. Another plus: If you can't take your pet with you to some activities during your stay and don't want to leave them in the room all day, there is an excellent doggy daycare called No Leash Needed that's less than a half mile away.

Very nice, clean and quiet hotel. Fast warm breakfast. Big parking lot. Close to lots of stores and restaurants..Walmart, Texas Roadhouse, mall only 10-15 mins away as well. Would totally recommend for anyone! Pleased with our stay:)

Highly recommend this location after our stay! Everything from check in (front desk staff exceptional) to check out was wonderful. Room very clean. Bed comfortable. Great location within walking distance to several restaurants. Noise level for a Saturday night was minimal even with several groups of kids.

Always clean rooms by Fast friendly service Priced a little high but overall a nice hotel. Plenty of stores and restaurants within walking distance Large room with plenty of amenities. Water pressure a little low in shower I never liked low flow shower heads. You can't save water if your in the shower twice as long just to wash the soap off!!!

Be alert if your company has prepaid your room fee. The front desk guy tried to tell me he needed my credit card because the room had only been "held", not paired for. I had a confirmation number, and receipt on my phone from my travel department, and it wasn't until then that he gave up trying to get my card.

This hotel is very clean. Front desk staff are very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, bed was good, heater in the room was a bit too warm even though i turned it down to 60. Breakfast buffet was really good. They had a employee there sanitizing the tables as people left. There also is a Chili's resturant attached to the hotel. You can go there to eat or they will deliver to your room if you like. Several other good places to eat close by.

A great stay, close to just about anything you need, im in construction and even lowes was right next door, restaurants were right there, the interstate was easy access, good breakfast, clean rooms, hot shower, easy check in and out

Clean hotel, friendly staff, excellent location average breakfast for a hotel but the breakfast staff lady was extremely nice! Overall we had a very pleasant stay. Hotel beds could improve but not the worst.

A Chili's restaurant inside the hotel was a great convenience. The breakfast area was large and well-supplied with a full-time attendant. Lots of good choices both hot and cold. Electrical outlets not abundant but adequate. Refrigerator in the room had a freezer. The desk clerk was very helpful. A connecting door between our 2 rooms was a nice convenience.

The first room we were given had a cup on the floor and food in the refrigerator. The clerk had no problem giving us another room. The mattresses could be turned. Seemed to have a noticeable dip on one side.

This hotel served the purpose very well for quick overnight. Clean, convenient to highway but quiet inside. Desk staff friendly at check in. As with most hotel free breakfasts, too short a time frame and too crowded.

Hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. Everything was working in the room. The staff was great. Check-in and check-out were fast. There was plenty parking spaces. If we're that way again we would definitely stay there.

Not a lot of options in this area, which is too bad. We've stayed here over the years when visiting family. The staff are always great, however overall upkeep can use some work. Grounds around front are full of butts, there was a smell in the halls and rust stains in sinks. Small things however not what we we accustomed to dealing with.

the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. The breakfast area in my opinion should be open until 10am. The restaurant was short staffed and the wait was 20 minutes with few people dining . Some complained the rooms were not cleaned. It is stated when you check in, if you want service call the night before.

Clean and comfortable and very accommodating staff. Stayed due to a wedding. Staff (from Alex who took my reservation, all the way through every person we encountered) was friendly and helpful. Room was very quiet, though we knew we had the potential for a lot of noise on our floor.

Hotel needs a deep clean. There was build up around edge of sink and showers. Tile grout in bathroom was black in some places and light gray in others showing how filthy the floor was. Friends in the room next to us had mold in their vent. We got a discounted “group” rate and I would never pay even the discounted rate to stay here. The remodel that was done looks fine, but totally lacking on cleansliness.

All the front desk personnel were friendly. Rooms clean. Cleaning staff very friendly also. I asked for supplies and was given right away. It was nice to have breakfast served. There are restaurants close by to eat.

This was my favorite hotel in SW St. Louis. But I will probably not go back. My foot was a little damp after taking my socks off. When I got into the shower, dirt washed out from under my foot. Later, I took a damp wash cloth and wiped the bathroom floor. It was pitifully dirty. In the morning when I asked for fresh towels for the second night the sitting housekeeping foreman in the room across the hall begrudgingly got up took the old towels and handed me one bath towel and two towels for the floor.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was. the lobby was very cute I would have given it a 5 but was not impressed with the mattress or pillows. The breakfast was ok, nothing special. Van's was a nice place to have a drink, very reasonable for a hotel bar.

Staff was super friendly and helpful when we checked in. We were traveling with our 2 dogs and they gave us a pet friendly room on the main floor with a patio door. They even gave us dog treats. Rooms were very clean and had all the amenities you would need. Breakfast had lots of hot and cold options. Hotel was close to a lot of shops and restaurants.

We've stayed here several times before and we're always happy! The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is also great, they have a god variety! We also appreciated the high chair they have available. We got a good night's sleep and did not hear much noise at all, even though the parking lot was full. The location is a great home base for our STL adventures! We will be back!

Great location and tons of shopping close by. Cute town of Kirkwood is a quick ride into town. Beds were comfy but coffee was terrible. Overall great place to stay. Go to Dunkins and get their coffee lol.

No matter what life threw at them - at work or at home this staff keeps on rising above. THEY are the very reason I stay here. And these have been challenging times for this staff, this group and this location and still I felt safe & cared for. All while being totally appalled at the behaviour of many of the other guests. Overall, the hotel was nice. Decor is nice. Breakfast area had good selections. We goofed and ate at Chili's before we checked in. Check in first - then you get a 10% discount on your bill. Our only complaint was the bathroom. Towels are hidden behind the door, and you need to be a contortionist to get the toilet paper. We were traveling with kids and were very pleased with the pool area. And, best thing ever, the hotel had floaties and rings for guest use! Never ran into that anywhere else. What a great idea!

Stayed because power went out at my parents house in Kirkwood. Easy last minute check in with Robert, who seems to enjoy and care about his job! Woman running the breakfast was also amazing and helpful! Bathroom was small but I will definitely stay there next time I visit my parents!

There was no WiFi for the 3 nights we were there. We called their 800 number 3 times trying to fix it and it still didn't work. The front desk didn't seem very interested in helping solve our problem.

The hotel itself is very nice. Clean and comfortable. But the employees that work there are their best asset. They had amazing customer service with myself and everyone else that I heard them helping during check in. I have not experienced that in a long time and they deserve to be recognized.

The location of the hotel was perfect while traveling for a martial arts seminar. The exterior of the hotel was clean and appealing, while the interior was clean and decorated well. The service was great, friendly and accomodating to our group.

This Best Western met all of our expectations - reasonably priced, clean, and located close to Grant Farm and the U.S. Grant National Historic Site. The grab and go breakfast was not ideal, but otherwise a solid choice.

Very convenient location in between a large amount of restaurants and stores. Short drive to the Zoo, Aquarium, or other attractions. Clean hotel and nice looking outside. Dunkin' Donuts directly next door if the complimentary breakfast doesn't do it for you.

We chose this hotel as it was close to a friend's house we were visiting. The kids had fun in the outdoor pool. There is an Applebee's on site. Breakfast had a sausage biscuit, waffles or yogurt. Also had to go bags. Room was clean & quiet. Elevators were so, we used the stairs. Wal-mart right behind the hotel.

Rooms dirty, fridge broken, no microwave, no blankets in room at all. Resteraunt food was terrible and overpriced, beds terribly uncomfortable. Hard ridge on outside of bed along with lumpy and uncomfortable mattresses which were filthy. Previous pets marked the chairs and were not cleaned. Used syringes, glass, toddler used potty chair in pet area, lots of drug activities and people hanging out in cars. Not safe for the elderly and pet owners need to be accountable. Aggressive Dogs not leashed, German Shepard (obviously above the 50# policy) allowed to bark and jump at our patio door 2 and 4 am, and that owner did not pick up droppings. Drug dealers and smell of marijuana was overpowering and had to place towels behind door

Should not have to ask for rooms to be cleaned. Found cigarette butts on the deck of our room - it was a no smoking room. Was also beer bottle tops in the sliding door frame. Bedding smelled of cigarettes, and when we asked to have the bedding changes the clerk complained.

The only reason I'm not giving this a 1-star review is because the front desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful. We literally did not stop hearing other people in all directions (both sides, above and in the hallways) until after 2am. The walls are paper thin. Kids were running around screaming and stomping like it was a daycare. People were in the halls acting like it was their house. Im not sure if this was an isolated incident but the restaurant I visited next door in the morning also had the rudest staff and the food was so awful, we threw half of it out. In a positive note, the beds were comfortable.

Stayed here for three nights while visiting family in the Kirkwood area of St. Louis. Overall, the hotel is nice and clean though we had a couple small problems with the room--the toilet paper dispenser didn't work properly and the hair dryer didn't work at all. Cleaning service is on a request basis only with Covid. Also, you have to request clean towels as needed. They have breakfast to go in a bag as well as individually wrapped breakfast sandwiches. The bags had a muffin, energy bar and piece of fruit. I wish the bags would have been marked with the fruit inside. We sometimes got an orange, sometimes an apple. Not sure if they offered bananas. I really liked the sausage biscuit sandwich. I noticed that our final bill total was $10 more than what was quoted in our reservation confirmation. Not sure why that was. There was also a PGE tax added in to each day's room charge. It wasn't explained on the bill and I can't find anything on-line to explain it either. I'd be interested in staying at La Quinta just down Kirkwood Road sometime just to compare.

The staff was always nice and friendly greeting us when we left and returned. Room was very clean. The only issue was the guest next-door had dogs locked in the bathroom that kept us awake. The water to the toilet was also turned off (easy fix) The location I was awesome! Very close to restaurants and shopping.

It is right in the middle of a shopping center which makes everything so accessible. The room was so convenient for my cat. The room was clean and I had a quiet night. The only suggestion would be to place a sign for the pet area.

Everything was very clean. Family friendly. There is a Dunkin' Donuts in the parking lot and also a Walmart and Target within walking distance. Right down the street is an area with quaint little hometown feel shops

The Best Western inn Kirkwood is my favorite place to stay in St. Louis. It has a wonderful pool, close to shopping and lot of restaurants! The internet was fast and I love the gym! The Chili's near the hotel wasn't serving the public due to Covid-19, but they brought orders to our room!! The staff is exceptional and very accommodating!

St. Louis is one of my favorite places to visit for a mini getaway and I always stay at the Best Western Kirkwood. The location is great for things like the zoo, delicious food, and easy access to stores incase I need to pick up something I forgot to pack. The beds are comfy and the room is always clean. I was always a fan of their breakfast and was worried about how it would translate with COVID restrictions, but they had little grab and go bags with snacks as well as pre-made breakfast sandwiches.

On both stays at this location I was impressed by the courtesy of staff. With events of late it's still wonderful that the staff was attentive. Rooms were clean and had no chemical smell , but still clean

Room was clean. Convenient location close to the highway. Tons of places to eat around. Breakfast offerings due to C-19 was coffee, juice, a hot breakfast sandwich and a "to go bag" with water, fruit, and granola bar. Looks like they were cleaning high touch areas often. Water pressure out of the shower head was an 8+ out of 10. Only issue was someone smoking on our floor. It was reported to the front desk and they took care of the situation. Outdoor pool was open and clean. Did not use the exercise room. Would stay there again.

My husband and I spent two nights at this wonderful hotel. The desk clerk was friendly and welcoming upon our arrival. The room was spacious and had the usual amenities. EVERYONE was “Masked Up” for COVID-safety. Due to COVID breakfast was a grab and go sack that contained granola bar, pastry, banana, and water. You could ask the attendant on kitchen dry for a hot Bacon and Egg biscuit sandwich , as well as getting a yogurt and coffee/juice. The location can't be beat! Many eating and shopping establishments surround the hotel within walking distance. You can also take advantage of 10%off at the connecting Chili's restaurant for showing your room key/card. We would most DEFINITELY stay here again when visiting St.Louis.

We recently stayed at Best Western Kirkwood Inn while searching for an apartment in St. Louis. We were hesitant traveling during pandemic however felt very safe and appreciate all the precautions this Best Western location were taking. The breakfast was made to go and the woman was wonderful. The beds were the best! It was a great nights sleep. We needed a late check-out and they allowed without any complication. I loved the location. Shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and accomidating. Would definetly recommend this hotel.

I love this place!! The people are always super friendly, always asking if they can do anything for you, always smiling!! The place is clean - always clean. We stay there every time we are in St Louis. Even now, when the virus has dampened a lot of peoples' spirits - they are still smiling and up beat. They do everything they can to ensure a peaceful stay. The amenities in the area are also great!! Restaurant in the hotel, and many others close by. Close to the interstate, but not too close - you don't hear much traffic at all. Close to shopping - from the big retailers (Wal Mart Home Goods Lowes etc) to the mom and pop shops right down the street. Like I said - this place is awesome!!

Robert at the front desk does a wonderful job. We have stayed here several times and all the staff is friendly and courteous. The rooms are clean and fresh. It truly is a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast is very good with a lot of options for healthy eaters and more robust breakfast items.

We travel extensively on road trips across the country with our small dog. We stay often at Best Western Hotels. This is a particularly good one if travelling with pets. It is clean and rooms on main floor allow easy access to outside. I was most impressed that they handed out dog cookies AND plastic gloves and pick up bags on checkin. The outside was clean of pet litter, a nice change from a lot of places that we stay.

I can't remember the last time I stayed at a Best Western hotel, but it's been a very long time. At first, I was kind of disheartened to learn that this was our best option for our recent trip to the St. Louis area, but the reviews were promising so I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt. I'm so glad I did! This hotel is conveniently located among loads of shopping and dining options, with quick access to I-44. The hotel has been recently renovated and is very stylish for a budget hotel. Our room was very spacious and clean, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. We all slept very soundly. I really feel like they have gone above and beyond to make their guests comfortable and to alter the reputation of this budget-line hotel chain. I will definitely give Best Western a second look the next time I am booking a business trip or quick vacation. Pros: The staff were super friendly and helpful The lobby was beautifully appointed Beds were very comfy The complimentary breakfast was more than adequate I loved the blue uplighting on the exterior! Cons: The Elevator -- When they renovated this hotel, the completely ignored the elevator. I don't know how old this hotel is, but the last elevator I saw that was this small, was in a 100+-year old hotel in Washington DC! The luggage cart barely fit into the elevator and only one or two people could ride with the cart at a time. The Bathroom -- While the shower/tub and actual sink looked new -- and were very clean! -- the bathroom is extremely small and cramped. Furthermore, the counter space is very limited and appears to made of very dated-looking formica. Honestly, our double-queen room was so spacious, I really feel like the architects/designers missed an opportunity here. They could have easily borrowed another foot from the main portion of the room to make the bathroom feel larger and to provide more counter space. And who uses formica anymore?? Overall, we were all pleasantly surprised with our stay at this location and would definitely recommend it if you are visiting the Kirkwood or Webster Groves neighborhoods of St. Louis. I have a whole new respect for the Best Western hotel line and even joined their loyalty program in anticipation of staying with them again.

My husband and I have stayed here twice in the past six months. The lady at the desk is always very friendly and helpful. The motel is very clean and there is a walkway to the nearby restaurant, making it very convenient to have dinner. They have a very nice breakfast with a good variety. A very courteous and clean stop on my first stop moving across country. Moving with two animals, of which I do not usually travel with pets. Gave my dog a biscuit and wished me luck on my move. Room was very clean and they gave me a room with a door to the outside so I could easily accommodate my needs.

Stay was mostly good for the one night we needed. However, our tub/shower had many issues. The water was way too hot and hard to adjust. We did call in a maintenance person who attempted to help us with it. I ended up taking a bath rather than a shower because it wasn't draining well either. It took a while for the tub to finally drain also. Other than those issues the stay was ok.

Had a one night stayover here. Choose this hotel based on TripAdvisor Reviews and for its convenient location. This Best Western operates as a class leader in its segment. We ended up in ST Louis because of a car problem. This hotel was a great price and close to where our car was being serviced. We were comfortable and it was handy having a bar and chili's on site. We would stay in this hotel again

We often stay at Best Western because many are locally owned. The Kirkwood Inn has really nice high end craft decor and also provides a charger for our Chevy Volt. The rooms are nice-sized and pleasantly decorated and the breakfast is decent. Highly recommend.

This is the nicest Best Western I have stayed at to this point in time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The whole hotel is decorated beautifully. As a family of 5 with food allergies (milk, nut, and egg), we are weary of many places. After our first stay at Best Western Kirkwood, however, we were at ease. Their continental breakfast has a variety of option, which accommodates all of our family's needs. Additionally, this location is wonderful. It has a Walmart and Target basically on the same parking lot. If you need something other than the continental breakfast to eat, there are numerous restaurants within walking distance, or a short drive away. As far as things to do, this location is roughly 20 minutes from Downtown St. Louis, Six Flags, Hidden Valley Ski Resort, Top Golf, movie theaters, and shopping malls. This has been, and will remain, our go-to hotel for the St. Louis area.

Our stay at this Best Western couldn't have been better. Close to area family and many restaurants. The complimentary breakfast offered several selections of tasty food items and beverages. A Chili's connected to the building was a plus. Also a bar for anyone wanting an alcoholic beverage.

Beautiful, clean hotel with a friendly helpful staff. Beds were very comfortable, clean modern rooms. Breakfast looked good for a hotel breakfast but we didn't eat there as we were visiting family. Close to everything, about a 20 minute drive to downtown. 10% off at two restaurants close by and within walking distance to a Walmart, Target and Dunkin Donuts. Highly recommend!

No microwave in the room. Only microwave was in a darkened breakfast room. Had to find the light switch for 2 grade school girls who were trying to use it to pop popcorn. The staff would not help. No hot coffee or hot water for tea available 24/7 in the lobby. The machine was locked. I asked the front desk about it and was told to get hot water from the facet in the bathroom of my room. Really? Will not recommend this hotel to anyone nor will I ever go back.

Robert and his best western team at the Kirkwood, Mo, location have repeatedly gone above and beyond to make this visit incredible for us! When my husband was greeted by name at check in at 10:15pm and our family had prearranged amenities to accommodate our daughter's wheelchair such as a first floor room, and a shower seat to make bathing easier we were relieved and so grateful! When they gave us a generous voucher for a discount at a local restaurant, we were thankful! Beyond that when Robert found out we were here to visit St Louis Children's Hospital and that Anna's birthday is tomorrow, we came back from dinner to a birthday gift at the door! Her very own pink Christmas Tree and a coloring kit, along with a handwritten card... we were absolutely stunned... the personal way we've been treated here is unparalleled to any service we've ever received from a hotel, ever. This hotel is NOT near the hospital, we only booked with best western because we enjoyed our stay in Valdosta, Ga to and from Florida. Prior to that, this brand was not on our radar. Then they sent us a free night, after Valdosta, we thought why not use it in St Louis and booked three nights. Now, I doubt we would even consider another brand. Our room was clean, comfortable and met all of our needs! Phenomenal, personalized service... wow!

Great Hotel at a great price ! Hot breakfast included ! This Hotel is located in a good location, close to major freeway and so much shopping and dining nearby. We stayed here 2 nights when we visited St. Louis. We choose this location because, besides touring downtown St .Louis, we were also visiting a friend who lived outside of the city. I was a little concerned about the commute into St. Louis, but it was fairly easy and there was ample parking downtown. The hotel is near a highway, which made it convenient. The hotel was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast had many hot and cold choices. The only issue involved a confusion with our reservation. I had made it by telephone to the 800 Best Western number, because only one of the two nights was with points. So it had to be two separate reservations, with a memo to the hotel to make sure both would be for the same room. We checked in during the evening, and the clerk on duty seemed to be unclear of the situation. But it was all resolved in the morning by the helpful daytime staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a good value with an easy 20-25 minute drive into St. Louis.

Friendly, clean hotel. Good breakfast. Good value. Handy to have a restaurant attached. Location perfectly fit right in between all of the places we needed to go. Next trip to St. Louis we will be staying here.

The staff were really nice and the food service was great. Our daughter goes to Webster and we stay here every time we are in town. The beds are comfy, the room was clean and who doesn't love pancakes AND waffles!

I am very pleased with my stay at this Best Western. The room was nice and clean, the service desk employees were nice and helpful, and the check in and out process was extremely fast. The bar on sight was a nice addition for a couple of drinks before heading to the room. The location is great as well, close to many restaurants, stores, and it was right off of the highway. The only knock for my stay was the internet service. It was very slow and sometimes I could not even connect to it. This was a minor issue for me since I was only there for a night, but it would be a problem if you needed the internet for your stay. Overall, it was a great experience and I would stay there again.

This is a newer property, and it is very nice. It's a bit more modern in the room layout and my room had a balcony that was also nice. The hotel is in walking distance to a nice shopping area, and the old town Kirkwood area. It's a very clean and cool little community to walk around in. Lots of specialty shops and such.

Great location for visitors to Kirkwood, etc, on the SW side of St. Louis Lots of restaurants nearby, too. There's a Chili's in the same building (not gourmet, of course, but adequate for a once-er). Liked the layout and decor of the motel, and the room. The breakfast was average at best, but normal for chain motels these days.

Freshly remodeled and very modern. The bead was a little soft for my taste. The breakfast was typical Best Western however they did not light the burners under the hotel pans so the Food was just barely warm. I would stay there again.

Stayed at the Best Western Kirkwood before going to a baseball game. Hotel was very nice. Hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A short trip down to the Metrolink made it easy to get around and the hotel staff had a great "cheat sheet" showing various St Louis attractions. Hotel was clean, easy to get to.

Clean rooms, breakfast was plentiful (they even had a different main entree each of the two mornings we were there), and budget friendly. For staying two weeknights, our total was just shy of $220 including taxes. I"d be hard pressed to find better value! For coffee drinkers like my wife, a Dunkin' Donuts is right next door in the parking lot. Travel to downtown St. Louis from the hotel was straight and easy; commute was only about 20 minutes. My family is a family of five with three younger kids (ages 4 - 9). Because of them, I am more careful in my lodging selections as opposed to my bachelor days. This place fit the bill perfectly. Only drawback was no pool for my kids in the evening - there is only an outdoor pool and it opens Memorial Day, which a week or two after our stay. I will seek out this hotel for any future visits to St. Louis.

This is a great place to stay. The front desk is very friendly, rooms are clean and I found the beds to be comfortable. We have stayed there before and would stay there again. It is a good location, close to shopping and restaurants. Breakfast is great.

This is a great hotel in a great location. So many restaurants within a short walk. I would recommend the Texas Roadhouse. The rooms are clean and comfortable, very spacious. It is also nice to have an opening balcony for some fresh air. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were all very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

I work at a BWP in Kentucky and needed a place to stay for a mini vacation. Me and my friends were very pleased with out stay. The room was clean and the service was fantastic all throughout. The lady that was working breakfast was super sweet. All of the front desk staff was really nice. However during third shift I called the front desk to request a few things and the guy at the desk seemed a little panicked and asked if I could come to the desk to get them which was not an issue. The breakfast was fantastic and the chilis was super convenient. The location itself was super convenient with everything that was around it. Overall our stay was great and most definitely will stay here if in st louis again.

This is a very nice hotel very clean and easy on and off highway. We had to be at airport at 530 so very convenient. Will stay again staff very helpful getting checked in. I love that there is a chillies inside hotel in bad weather wouldn't have to leave to eat. Vans Tavern very nice too

We stayed here Labor Day weekend. Although we couldn't check in until 3:00, the rest of the visit was excellent. The room was comfortable and was cleaned daily like clock work. Free breakfast was satisfying (eggs, bacon, potatoes, waffles, fruit, breads, cereal, etc). We went swimming in the outdoor pool. Towels were provided. The front desk staff were very friendly! We enjoyed the location of the hotel and a big plus was having a Chili's Restaurant attached to it. We stayed on the second floor which was the same level as breakfast and Chili's. We would definitely stay here again.

We requested a pack n play be set up before we arrived as we travels with little ones. Most hotels don't complete this request for whatever reason. They did this for us and with little ones it is so helpful. They were great!

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast was typical of any hotel breakfast that is included with the price. The breakfast area is a little small, so get there early. It's convenient to I-44 and about 20 minute easy drive downtown. Plenty of fast food restaurants around the area, and Walmart and Target right behind it. Would stay here again

Located in West central St Louis, close to Interstates. Parking was easy and available. Check in was pleasant. Pool was very clean. Outdoor pool, not indoor. Continental breakfast. Closes at 10:00, however, things wind down about 9:30 and no interest to refill things as they run out, so don't wait. No microwave in the room. Fridge in room about the size of a small cooler. Clock radio alarm was set for 6:00 wake up, I guess I should have double checked. I could have given 5 stars but asked for a late checkout after spending four nites at the hotel. The front desk said they are on a first come first serve basis and I would have to come to the front desk in the morning to ask for the later checkout. I asked, "doesn't that defeat the purpose?" Next morning I went to the front desk to ask for a later checkout and waited 6 minutes before leaving while the front desk was on the phone.

Stayed here one night, and would come back. The bed was very, very comfortable, and nice linens. The room was large with a balcony. Was super clean. The desk staff are great at their jobs and nice people. They greet you with a smile. The location is perfect. The sausage that is served for breakfast was really good. Clean and well kept pool. The staff was so welcoming, I arrived tired and grumpy 10 hours into my trip! The desk clerk went out of his way to make check-in smooth quick and hassle free. The room was spotless and comfortable, I had originally booked this room at a lower price but had to make a last minute change so the price went up but it was still within what I expected to pay. I was treated so well by the staff that the few extra dollars I paid was well spent!

I loved having the outdoor pool. It was clean and well kept. The desk guys were awesome when checking in. I would recommend this hotel because of where it is at. The only thing is that there are not microwaves in the rooms.

When planning a family mini-vacation for St. Louis, I wanted to find a hotel with free parking, free wi-fi and a complementary breakfast. Best Western Kirkwood Inn fit the bill, with my only error being my mistaking the children's wading pool for a hot tub. (Oops.) Our room was clean and comfortable all around - bed is a little soft, but that's not necessarily a terrible thing. The kids made ample use of the pool, and I ventured in once; this, too, was well maintained (though I could have lived without one guest drinking a beer while in the pool, though she did so carefully). There were a few guests who were making quite a bit of noise in the hallway shortly after we checked in; however, this quickly died down, and we all slept soundly the two nights we were there, without any further issues. Of the three of us, I was the only person to take advantage of the continental breakfast each morning. The selections were good and plentiful, even when the room was near capacity the second morning. The only suggestion I would make would be to offer real pads of butter in addition to the vegetable-based spread, as some of us do not like margarine. Location-wise, this is THE spot to be. There are plenty of choices for fast food within a very short walking distance, as well as a Walmart and a Target in case you forgot something you needed on your trip. Since we wanted to try restaurants we can't find close to home, we didn't dine at the Chili's attached to the hotel, but that, too, is a nice option. There are also lots of great places to eat and shop within a very short drive, and you're only about 12 miles away from downtown St. Louis. Without a doubt, I would not hesitate staying here again. For the value and amenities offered, it was an excellent choice of hotel, and is highly recommended.

The hotel is fine overall and the breakfast is sufficient for a complimentary breakfast. Coffee is important to me so a coffee dispensing machine doesn't produce a good cup of coffee. Thankfully there is a Dunkin' Donuts next door. I'd stay here again in a pinch but it wouldn't be my first choice.

Very nice hotel with good amenities. My only complaint is when I called directly to book my room I was quoted rates which were quite different when I check out. I received my confirmation email prior to arriving and when I checked out my total increased even more. The front desk manager (Andrea) was very curt about it and was unwilling to provide an explanation. Her attitude was this is what it is, I'm right and you are wrong. She left a bad taste in our mouth when we left and because of her we probably will not stay here again.

The night we checked in the front desk man, younger guy, sorry not good at remembering names, went above and beyond checking us in and explained where everything was. He made us feel welcomed, would stay there again. Room was very clean, staff was really nice but woke up with a sore back from the indentations in the mattress.

Apparently the rooms are not as clean as it would appear at first inspection. We always look under the sheets when first entering the room. We are paranoid of bed bugs. We did not see any, but the day we left the hotel we noticed several bites on our bodies. And for the next couple days more bites showed up. Bed bug bites can take a week to actually appear. I called the hotel to report it. They said "No one else has complained." Wait until the next people stay in Room 402. I bet they will complain. But maybe not until they are leaving... depending on how long they stay. We did not bring anything into the house when we got home. We undressed in the garage and put our clothes immediately into the washer at high temp. We had our truck vacuumed and steam cleaned. We are throwing our suit cases away and purchasing new ones. We also complained to the corporate office via online customer service. It has been over a week since we filed the complaint. We have heard nothing. That's why I am filling this review. People need to be made aware of the problem. They say bed bugs are horrible if you let them get into your home.

We stopped here after a long drive. The rooms were quiet, bed was comfortable. A bonus was having a Chili's attached to this hotel. We have gone to Chili's many times in our home state so we know what kind of food this had and it was good (and VERY convenient!) The staff was nice and breakfast was about the usual for hotels, it had a little bit of everything.

We liked the hotel. The complimentary breakfast could be better. Do not care for hard scrambled eggs. Was disappointed when I went there to get coffee one afternoon and find they "lock it up" after breakfast. Luckily we had coffee in the room - I was just hoping for regular cream (the reason I went to the little kitchen area) instead of the powdered stuff. Everyone was very nice. I like that you can walk thru the hotel to Chili's. It was raining a LOT when we were there, so one evening we just trekked to Chili's. Also, for latte fans, there's a Dunkin' Donuts in the parking lot, and a little further across the parking lot is White Castle and Wal-Mart. Very conveniently located. Would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel because I was in town for a funeral of one of my family members. I had an issue where I was locked out of my phone so I asked one of the staff members if they could help me. The bravo female at the desk said she didn't know anything about any phone and brushed me off to a girl, Heather, who treated me like a was complete trash or something and declined to help me as well. I was pretty upset about how the staff members had no heart to even step in to try. I couldn't even stay the last night in the hotel because I was so embarrassed by their behavior.

Seamless stay, helpful employees and overall great stay the check in was easy and because of my wife's limited mobility we requested a first floor room and got it. Couldn't quite enjoy the breakfast because we were in a rush, but it was something I will enjoy in the next visit. Good stay, you'll have me back again as a customer.

I had an event in Kirkwood and wanted to stay close by. This hotel is very conveniently located, easy to find and get to and from. Nice rooms, very clean and comfortable. Standard breakfast bar with exceptional staff who were present and working hard to keep items stocked and customers happy. Check-in and out were super easy. All staff were terrific!

Two couples are traveling together for a week. Our first stop was the Kirkwood Best Western. We were scheduled to spend three nights here. What a great beginning!! We wanted to be outside of St. Louis but convenient to the area. This is the right place. We started by wanting to go to a Card's game. Only about a 14 minute drive. Very convenient to our trip to Hannibal the next day. OK we checked in on Saturday afternoon. We were greeted by a friendly staff first thing. After getting our rooms, Robert found us an extra cart to take both couples stuff to our rooms. The rooms were clean, good size and surprisingly quite even though there were several types of guests, graduation parties, youth baseball and families. We got down to the buffet rather late on Sunday morning, but it was still well stocked with the usual stuff. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. A great place to stay.

I am always a little weary to stay at a BW hotel and I dont know why. This hotel was great. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was great and even though it was busy, the workers kept all the food fresh and stocked. Its also in walking distance to restaurants and shopping. If ever in this area again, I would definitely rebook this hotel.

it was an overall great place to stay- just be careful and don't leave anything in your room unattended. Money from my 5 year old granddaughter's wallet was missing as were 3 packs of cigarettes- A small thing and I would recommend this hotel for families too- I hated that it marred an otherwise wonderful stay- we even left swim suits and the staff are mailing them back to us. All in all everyone was super friendly.

Feel like a broken record every time I review a Best Western motel; they're all very good, some great. This is one of the great ones! I look for some of the minor conveniences that travelers need, like enough luggage racks to handle a travelling couple's suitcases, working coffee pots with supplies adequate to satisfy a morning need, ice availability, and so forth. BW hardly ever lets us down in this regard, and this Motel was no exception. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room was immaculate, everything worked perfectly, and it was located very convenienctly near the highway and a variety of restaurants. Thanks again, BW!

This hotel is in a great location very close to the highway with easy on and off. The rooms were very clean and the staff was exceptional. They have a lounge attached where you can get drinks after a long drive and the bartender Jay was very nice and makes some very nice drinks. They also have a restaurant attached so you don't even need to get into the car. They have a breakfast buffet in the morning which was very nice and the woman running it were very nice and helpful. We will be remembering this one when we are traveling through St. Louis.

The hotel is easy on and off the Interstate. The rooms are large and very clean. The staff is friendly and courteous. There is plenty of parking with good lighting. A Chili's restaurant is attached from the second floor.As to the rooms, the shower has plenty of water pressure but the bathroom itself is a little small. There are more channels available on the TV than I have ever seen in a hotel. The location has plenty of shopping within walking distance. It is one of the best Best Western hotel I have stayed.

We stopped at this hotel when we were were ready to stop driving for the night. After 3 bad experiences are holiday inn we decided anything but them. Best choice ever. The rooms are large, and about 50$ cheaper than the holiday inn across the street.the person at the counter was there and willing to help. He is polite and very nice.

Stayed here one night on way home. The staff is pleasant and courtious. Hotel is right off I-44 and is very nice, only exception is bath area is very small, think RV small. Bed is comfortable, internet is very slow. Breakfast is nice.

Rooms are very dirty. Beds were "made" without even moving our pillows. Wet used towels were not even removed from a bathroom floor. Noisy air conditioner that cannot be adjusted. When we asked to change the room the answer was "we are full".

This is a very clean hotel with staff that are very friendly and could not do enough to help you. There is a very good restaurant attached. The bar is very friendly too. One of my favourite hotels on our route 66 tour and I would recommend you stay here. Robert at reception was particularly helpful.

We have had the pleasure of visiting St Louis three times while our daughter-in-law has been studying here. This was our first local hotel experience. We chose Best Western because we are rewards members and previous positive experiences with the hotel chain. We were not disappointed. A full breakfast buffet was included, room service was attentive, front desk staff friendly. We'll be back. Now that she has graduated we don't know when we'll be back in St Louis, but we'll book BW when we can.

The Kirkwood Inn by Best Western Is quite beautiful! It is clean and quiet. Robert made sure all of my check-in request were granted! Any place you want to eat is at your finger tips! There is a Chili's on the 2nd floor. Walmart, Target, Ross, Chipotele, White Castle, Canes Chicken and a cast of others are basically on the parking lot even a Texas Road House and a Dunkin Donut! WWWOOOWWWW!!!

In general, this is a nice hotel with very courteous and capable staff. The breakfast is standard hotel fare. The room was nice, but the bathroom was small. If you're a couple or more, it is only good for one person at a time with one sink. The best part is its proximity to I44 and easy access to so many sites in St. Louis. If we go back, we will stay here.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and everything was perfect, the room was clean and so was the toilet.The property is well kept. They have large space of free public parking around the propriety and pretty good quality wifi. We've asked for an upper floor an so they gave us an upper floor room. Really a great experience, for sure I'll come back.

I always stay in Best Westerns, but this one is by far the BEST. From the minute I walked in, I felt like the staff was genuinely happy to have me there. Andrea from the desk even remembered me from my last stay! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I took my three little ones to breakfast, and the workers were quick to help me out from high chairs, to food, to clean up. The staff is super sweet and the faculty is just as wonderful! I will ONLY stay in the hotel when I come to the St. Louis area.

We (parents with three young children) stayed here while visiting friends in St Louis- omg we couldn't have asked for more: staff was extremely personable and friendly, rooms and common areas were clean and well-kept, the hotel's free breakfast was AMAZING! They had eggs, pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage... our six year old said that breakfast (not the party, swimming, or zoo we did in StL) was his favorite part of vacation. I strongly recommend this hotel- it's gonna be our spot for return visits to the area. Has lots of shopping and restaurants walking distance. One hundred thumbs up!

Unfortunately, I have to say I was very disappointed in this hotel. From the front desk clerk to the room I stayed in, I was completely disgusted but also disturbed. At first checking in initially the clerk was distracted and seemed overwhelmed. Once checked in and given our room key I hit the room to discover my bed was horribly disgusting. With a UV light I was able to see my sheets and bedding were most definitely dirty (stained all over with bodily fluids), the bathroom showed urine all over the floor, toilet and wall behind the toilet as well. I went down to the front desk immediately to ask for my bedding to be changed and the clerk told me "I can get you bedding and you change it yourself", another clerk stepped in to say there was a housekeeper still there and they could send her up. She came up thirty minutes later, apologized and seen for herself the bodily fluids (which were visibly shaped in the form of Male and female genitalia) that were on the sheets visible with the UV light, she only changed the fitted sheet, 2 flat sheets and pillowcases and left the same comforter and mattress cover. Completely appalling to say the least!

Immediately knew I had booked the right hotel when greeted at the front desk. Dog treats and poop bags along with a first floor room with a sliding glass door. Genuine welcome from the front desk attendant, Robert, who actually looked happy to be in the business of hospitality. Too often the first impression at the front desk is disappointing. The Chili's partners with the hotel to provide delivery right to my door. This was so helpful and easy. All that was required of me was to relax.

Overall the hotel was a nice place to stay. Good value for money. Room and hotel were clean and attractive. Shower was great with mounted hand held shower. Towels were fine, not as nice as higher end hotels. Bed linens were nice, but bed had hard sides with soft inside. Sitting on side of bed was awkward. The king bed had 5 small pillows. Both bedside lamps had 2 outlets. Great for charging phones. I like that there was a nightstand on both sides of bed. My breakfast was good: eggs, potatoes, bacon. Other items available like biscuits and gravy, fruit, etc. Close to Magic House. Great place to take kids. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. I would stay here again. We have family in St Louis, so we visit several times a year.

We stayed for a full week to attend family and friend functions. The beds were the best ever. Stark white linens and divine pillows. A full hot breakfast bar plus fruit and yogurt. Location central to routes in all directions. We will book again next year for our annual visit.

I chose to stay here based on the high recommendation by a friend. She was right! This place rocks! Its immaculately clean. I would not have hesitated to take a bath in the tub because it looked brand new. The room was flawless and looked just like the pictures. The Front Desk staff was engaged at every opportunity. Breakfast was more than I expected with lots of yogurt enhancements and waffle topping options. The on-site pub was very convenient for meeting up with old friends. We would stay again in the future and will recommend this place to everyone traveling to the area.

I would never recommend this less than average hotel to anyone. They overcharged us for the stay and when we got our bill found out we had been charged for three rooms for no-shows. Obviously we had shown because we also had charges for the three rooms we had. We have had an ongoing 6-month dispute and the representative at Visa told us to report them to Best Western international. The Visa representative said she had never talked to a manager who was so unprofessional and so rude. Please save yourself the headache and go anywhere else.

The hotel was nice and the rooms were good. The hotel staff was very friendly! And the pet friendly rooms with the sliding doors to the outside was super useful. But the hotel sits in a busy area with restaurants/bars nearby. There was someone parked outside our room passed out in their vehicle that made us very uncomfortable. He would come to every now and then and stare at us as we could come and go from the sliding door to walk the dogs and load our car up. I will probably look somewhere quieter next time I come to the area as I did not feel safe, but the hotel itself was lovely just could use a little more security.

From the desk clerks at check in to check out this is an excellent value. Better than average complementary breakfast and a great little locals type lounge, I enjoy staying at this motel. The beds are good and the rooms have new paint, carpet and faucets, as well as being clean. Also a wonderful location near Interstate 44 with several excellent restaurants close by like Citizen Kane's for steak and Twisted Tree for batter fried lobster. Plus good shopping at Stein Mart and TJ Max. Oh Boy!

Room smelled of cigarettes. Neighbor was loud. All on a Wednesday night. No security. Police came to property. No complimentary soft drinks. Bed was old. Tv was old. Bad water pressure. Towels were cheap.

Breakfast was a good variety. Noise was down to a quiet level. Staff were friendly at check in and check out. We were given express check out which made it nice not to have to stand in line to check out. There were also restaurants on the sight if we didn't want to go out to get something to eat.

This was my second time staying at the Hotel. Check in was smooth and Hotel Staff was Great. The Bathroom was small, Beds and Pillows were Comfortable. The location is great and there are many Restaurants and Shopping within walking distance.

Lobby was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. The rooms were huge, had their own balconies, and were comfortable. The bathrooms were small but manageable. It also connected to a restaurant and had more within walking distance as well as many stores.

Mattress was very very worn. Not very comfortable. It was decently clean. Housekeeping came pounding at 9 am and talking loud in the hall on their cell phones while vacuuming. Room was fine. Had fridge but no microwave. Location was the best part of the hotel. Quiet and comfort were not priorities.

If the internet worked on my phone or laptop I would have been way happier. I couldn't even load gmail and wasn't able to get any work done in the hotel room. Location close to plenty of stores, restaurants, and gas right of 44 headed North to St. Louis, MO.

The hotel was what we have come to know Best Western for. It included a pretty basic hot breakfast with eggs, sausage, waffles, pancakes, etc, and even though we went down late for breakfast at 9:40 (breakfast ended at 10), the food was still hot and tasted pretty good. Our flight came in late and so we didn't get to the hotel until 1:45 am and yet the check-in was ready and easy. The check out bill came through the door and was there early in the morning. The staff was great at both check-in and check-out and the hotel was in a very convenient spot near the freeways. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone to stay here. Great spot, great price.

First the bad....the room refrigerator and heater were very noisy-even when the heater was off the fan still ran. On a main Street, but noise was a minimum. Now the good...very clean and well kept hotel. The staff was friendly and attentive at the front desk. The rooms were clean and welcoming. Having so many places to eat was a plus. We were surprised to see motorcycle parking up front, and when we return to MO we will absolutely stay here.

A spotless, well-run hotel featuring friendly, helpful staff at every turn. Delicious hot breakfast buffet at no extra charge, sparkling guest rooms, and front desk personnel who greet you every time you walk by. Even the housekeeping staff members are friendly. Staff were generally very pleasant and courteous. This hotel is in a busy area with a road running directly to the north of it and a highway about 0.5 mile south. We were on the 6th floor on the south side, which is one of the quietest rooms. Unfortunately, you can still hear the highway, motorbikes going up the hill on the highway at 2;30am....not conducive to a restful night. The room smelled of sweaty feet. The bathroom is small although the room was large? The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. The toilet tissue and the facial tissues could only be described as 'prison issue'. (I think the bean counters are cutting too many corners in that area). Also, the rooms have individual heaters mounted through the walls. The heater 'klonked' on and off all night as the thermostat kicked in and out. It was so noisy we turned it off. Unfortunately, the room went cold quickly and with only one spare blanket it was a choice between being kept awake by being cold, or the noisy heater. Subsequently, it took our request for an extra blanket 3 nights to be fulfilled. In the week the breakfast room was OK, but Sunday morning was zoo and there were insufficient seats and tables. We gave up and went to Starbucks. Saturday night there was a party going on on the 6th floor, people loudly talking in the corridor and going from room to room banging doors shut. Overall if I stay in the area again I will look for a hotel in a quieter area. The number one reason you stay at a hotel is to get some sleep, this Hotel failed on the count in many respects.

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. Great variety for breakfast. Bed and pillows were comfy. Chilies Restaurant was attached. Lots of places near by. My family had a great time on New Years!!

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. My rate was very reasonable, especially in the STL area so I wasn't sure what to expect. This is a great hotel in a great location, lots of restaurants and stores nearby (walking distance). The breakfast was much better than most free breakfasts and included waffles, pancakes, breakfast burritos, oatmeal with toppings, along with all the usuals like yogurt and baked goods. Décor is great and looks as if the whole hotel has been recently remodeled in a very pleasing style. It was also surprisingly quiet in the room. I definitely recommend this Best Western.

Nice hotel at good price. Decent breakfast. Good location. Lots of.food nearby within walking distance. Close to major freeways. I really like this hotel. I will stay there again if I need a hotel next year.

The hotel was cute, front desk was friendly. Clean, just a normal hotel experience. They decorated for Christmas which was nice. The check in was easy and I was in my room in 10 minutes so that was nice. Perfect for a quick easy stay

There were 3 of us (adults) at our stay at the Best Western and we had 2 queen beds. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Yes, the bathroom was a little small however I would rather have the room bigger than the bathroom because you usually spend more time in the room than the bathroom. There is a Chili's on the premise and they also have their own bar on the second floor of the hotel. If you show your room key you receive a 10% discount at Chili's and the hotel gives you a coupon for 10% off at Texas Roadhouse which is also close by. The bar at the hotel was a little expensive however it was very convenient and we didn't have to go outside in the cold/rainy weather. The breakfast was also very good and not only do they serve waffles they also serve pancakes! They have a big selection of food for breakfast. A wonderful stay and we definitely had a nice restful evening.

Super friendly and efficient staff, clean, large rooms, really good free breakfast and great location. On top of that, you are in walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Nice local bar on premises.

We were overcharged for our reservation and to make it worse we were charged a no show charge after we had stayed for 3 nights. The financial person never returned our calls and after having requested to speak to the manager, received the rudest treatment we have ever experienced. We reported it to our credit card company and that person received the same very unprofessional treatment. She suggested that we report the incident to the corporate office which we proceeded to do. We had stayed at this location numerous times. However, we will seek other accommodations the next time we visit the area.

The staff members were great, and helpful. The room was nice, but the bathroom was very small, and we did not get an accessible shower as I requested. They lent us a plastic shower bench which was awkward to use. It's hard enough to get around on a walker, without your accommodations being difficult too.

I have a hypoallergenic dog, because I am allergic to "normal" breed of dogs. I was given a room friendly dog, but had difficulty breathing inside. Thank God it was only 1 night. Not sure, how they use the $30 dog fee, but the room wasn't cleaned from the previous quests. The mattress was 20-30 years old, very, very uncomfortable. Heating device, very old and very noisy as well. The hotel got 9 out of 10 in reviews, so we chose this one, We travel frequently, and usually choose La Quinta, which is much, much better and doesn't charge any pet fee, but it wasn't available that night. Maybe other rooms are fine, but #118 was terrible. This was my first experience with Best Western, and probably last.

We booked this place blind off the internet and were very pleasantly surprised! Beds were incredibly comfortable and there is a Chili's attached to the hotel, which was great for our late arrival dinner. Breakfast was okay, but the reset of the stay was exceptional.

We had plesant experience during our stay for 12 nights. The hotel located in very strategic area where as you can find many store around you and within walking distance. Restaurant no issue and if you visit St. Louis without driving shouldn't be issue as well since public transportation (Metro) stop in front of the hotel and can take you anywhere you want to go.

Arriving by Amtrak too late to drive home - Best Western is the perfect location - less than 5 minutes from the train station, safe, clean, and very comfortable! I recommend this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Temperature control was easy to use and the fan ran constantly. I mention this for those of us that like white noise for sleeping. Some units cycle on and off which is annoying. There is a Chili's attached .You can get to it from within the hotel. The bathroom is a little small but nice shower. One drawback was the Internet. Spotty connectivity. It dropped in and out. They need a stronger booster. If not for the Internet issue I would rate them a 5.

Great hotel choice. Convenient to everything. Central location...clean. We will stay again. Easy checkin. Good breakfast. Felt comfortable and a nice haven. Bathroom kinda tiny but ok. Target with Starbucks within walking distance.

This hotel has comfortable beds. The breakfast choices are good and varied. We really enjoyed the friendly bartender at happy hour, and he makes a good drink! There is an attached Chili's that gives guests a 10% discount. And the staff is helpful and friendly.

The staff was terrific, we had a stay on the way out and again on the way back. They were good about knowing our names and remembered us on the way back from the previous stay. The beds were clean and really comfortable. While I was hoping for a hot tub, they had an outdoor heated pool that turned out to be absolutely wonderful! Thanks!

Stayed at this hotel on our way to Branson, MO. What a wonderful experience! This 6 story establishment sits within walking distance of WalMart, Lowe's, Target and many other stores and restaurants. The lobby was stunning! Sometimes lobbies are given more attention than the rooms but not so in this Best Western! The room on the first floor was large, bright and the 2 beds were very comfortable. We always prefer being on a top floor but being that we were traveling with our cat we had to be on the "pet floor" meaning downstairs! That was OK...our room overlooked a grassy area and the beautiful pool. Michael at the front desk suggested dinner at Texas Roadhouse just across the parking lot. A very good suggestion, Michael! We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there if traveling in this area again.

As soon as I walked into the lobby I was greeted by 2 staff behind the reception desk who was very polite and helpful. They took the time to explain everything that was offered at the hotel. And what was available near and the around hotel. Very clean exterior and interior. My room was very clean and accommodating and perfect. It was quiet with a comfortable bed. This hotel has a perfection location being right off the I-44 and easy to find.

We've stayed at this hotel a few times now, and have many more plans to stay there in the future. Whole hotel is modern, well kept, and the staff is always so nice. The location is great, so many places to eat and shop within walking distance. I highly recommend BW Kirkwood!!

Gladys at the Front Desk was awesome. The rooms were clean and the internet was fast and smooth. Pool area was clean and the breakfast bar was a great touch to eliminate a trip to another location for food.

Great comfortable hotel. Close to food and shopping. Everything was close and accessible. Was only able to stay one night, as I was traveling. Yet, if it was possible, I would have stayed here for the entire trip!

I'm sure a busy business traveler would not even notice but I was there on a weekend and it had obvious short-comings that you should know about: Short-staffed but they tried hard Bathroom was not cleaned very well Bed pillows were "tiny" (half-sized) and there were too many of them?! Location was good, drive-up was easy Free-breakfast was very popular Food was average but the morning breakfast was well run and the busiest part of the Hotel when I was there.

Staff was nice, place was nice and clean even with a dog room! They put you in the back on the first floor which is convenient with leashes and dogs. The ac was a bit “old” and bathroom small for the price but rest was good.

Great breakfast comfy bed but toilet seat would not stay up to pee. Was able to come and go without someone asking if I'm staying there at 2 am. The last Best western offered free coffee in the lounge and popcorn and this one did not.

I was shocked at all of the different shops and resturants near this Best Western. The staff was great. They have motorcycle parking which is always a plus. This was the first time was stayed at this Best Western. If we are traveling to Miluakee again this will be our stop to relax and enjoy more of the surrounding area.

I ran into this motel quite by accident as I was travelling accross the country. Staff was great and the room was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend if you are in the St Louis area staying at this hotel. It is inexpensive for what you receive and a pleasant place to rest your head for the night.

The hotel was clean with courteous staff at reception and breakfast. The room was a good size with two queen beds. The usual coffee maker, sadly with powdered creamers. The bathroom has both bath and shower, all looking fresh with rather old fashioned porcelain. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet which was wider than we've been used to in the more budget type inns. The quality wasn't always great, the bacon was not recognizable as such but we had a decent meal. The hotel has an external pool which we didn't look at. We'd come to visit St Louis on holiday and while it's a way out of the city we found some excellent historical sites to visit close by. We were happy with this choice and the good value.

We stayed at this hotel on 2 successive weekends. The staff was great. They have a unique arrangement with a Chilis restaurant and a separate bar attached to the same facility. The hotel and restaurant were great. The bar seemed to attract some odd local patrons. I would think the staff needs to do better in this aspect.

We apprecieated the shuttle to the train station and the complimentary breakfast. All hotel staff were courteous and helpful. The air conditioner worked very well. A few little minor things I would improve...a coffee maker that makes more than one cup at a time...and more coffee. Some more bathroom supplies, such as extra rolls of toilet paper and some hand soap for the sink. Overall I will probably stay there again and recommend this hotel to others.

I was pleasantly surprised with this property. I read the great reviews but still had my hesitations. WOW was I wrong. This is a great property - clean, super location, polite and helpful.staff, quiet and so convenient! Free use of printer in lobby and free breakfast. Breakfast was nothing special but it was what I expected (yogurt, waffle maker, fruit, juices, pasteries, etc.) Perfect for parents who need to visit Webster Univ. We will definitely be staying here again.

I had booked the room through Priceline as a half way point on a road trip. Very easy to find. Excellent price! Perfect location! Shopping and restaurants very close by.Staff was nice and very efficient. Every person I encountered greeted me and was genuinely friendly.During this stay, I did not take advantage of the Chili's restaurant located on the 2nd floor (I was too tired from travel) or the breakfast in the morning (I actually overslept because I was so comfortable!!).

The hotel is excellent, although parking isn't worth a split in the wind, I'm a disabled get and have a disabled tag, but couldn't get a disabled parking spot because a lot of them were taken by Non-Disabled cars. Management wouldn't do anything about it. Very disappointing, since I will be staying here with my with over the next several months!

The hotel, room, and breakfast bar were extremely clean. The staff was very friendly, and the breakfast bar offered more choices than your standard hotel breakfast. In addition, the hotel has an attached bar, and Chili's is attached to it as well. If your up for a short walk or drive, the hotel is close to a number of common restaurants and food options.

When we arrived we noticed the cigarette smell on the fourth floor. Also our room smelled like someone had smoked there. We asked for another room from another floor and got it. First our new room was ok, but we both woke up in the middle of the night and noticed the smell again. Our bathroom was the worst smelling room for some reason. We always prefer non-smoking hotels. Also this hotel tells on his website that it is non-smoking hotel. When we checked out the worker said that they are "theoritically non-smoking hotel, but some customers don't pay attention to that". If you are looking for an non-smoking hotel I can't recommend. I think we would have been satisfied with that hotel without that smell. Otherwise rooms were ok (though towels were very small).

This hotel ws top-notch from the front desk to the maids. Breakfast was great. Multiple places to visit inside hotel. Good food aaaaand great atmosphere for a magnificent price. Pool area was well maintained and had a deep end for my kids to swim in. No hot tub was the only drawback.

My wife and I decided to take a short vacation to St. Louis to go to the zoo and science center. We were looking for a hotel that was close to things to do and at a good price. We are members of a travel club and when we called to find a hotel, they found this Best Western and it sounded like a good fit. We booked it and it was just about 10 miles away from the zoo and science center. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and had pool noodles and beach balls there supplied by the hotel. Breakfast was included and was very good with a large variety of things to eat. We had breakfast 2 mornings and they had bacon the first day and sausage patties the next. There was eggs, potatoes with peppers and sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, Belgian waffles, cereal, yogurt, bagels, pastries, juice, and coffee. There was also a Chili's attached to the hotel that offered 10% off for hotel guests and a Texas Roadhouse within walking distance that did the same. There were numerous other choices all within a short walk or drive. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and it was a great experience staying here. If you are in the St. Louis area and you are looking for a nice clean hotel in a good location, this is an excellent choice.

This was the 5th stop in our cross country drive from LA to DC. We are staying at 6 best westerns total. This was the first that was a hotel so with interior doors rather than exterior. When we arrived we received a very friendly welcome from the front desk. They were helpful and told us that we could leave our large moving van with tow as is. The hotel is in s great area it appears very safe and is within walking distance of many stores and places to eat. Walmart, target, tj maxx to name a few. The hotel had discount coupons for some of the places so be sure to ask . We got 10% off of Texas Roadhouse. We were on the ground floor and had a sliding glass door with a concrete slab. I only wished it was enclosed or had some furniture. But it was nice to load our truck up from the doors. The breakfast was good although not as plentiful as some of the others and it was the first time I noticed empty food containers not being restocked. There was one person working the breakfast and she was not very friendly. I asked where the jelly was and she barked it was on the table. The rooms were also very small and do not have a microwave. The bathroom was teeny and with the door closed I could not turn around without hitting something very small counter space too. The shower water got way too hot like scalding. The bathroom sink also smelled horribly of sewer anytime you ran the water. The hotel has a pool but make sure to ask for a room not facing pool because it's very loud. Thankfully we were on the back side. The hotel is very family friendly. But the downside of that is expect to be awoken fairly early by the sounds of children in the hallway. The walls are quite thin. This was by far the most expensive of the best westerns we stayed at. While the location was great I think I would shop around price wise to get a larger room before staying again.

We were so impressed with everything from the friendly and helpful staff to the hot breakfast and the clean and modern rooms. If you're traveling with small kids, this is the perfect spot! It's within walking distance to a Target and several places to eat. A children's museum is right down the street, and the hotel is a block from the interstate with an easy drive pretty much anywhere in St. Louis. And for really small kids, the complimentary pack and plays were in surprisingly great condition (a first for us at a hotel!).

Came here for some great food and drinks. Toby's place was great for food and drinks. Pappy's can not be beat for their food. Giontony's is the best for Italian food. Then there is Highway 61 Roadhouse for the best new Orleans food.

We stopped for one night during a road trip from Michigan to Texas. This hotel is in a nice area with many amenities nearby: Walmart is directly behind the hotel and there are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance (Chipotle, White Castle, Buffalo Wild Wings, O'Charlies) as well as Van's bar and Chilies right inside the hotel. We recommend the Texas Roadhouse for delicious steaks, chicken & salmon. The hotel itself is clean and nice, but not fancy. Our king room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was above average with eggs, sausage, biscuits with sausage gravy, make your own pancakes and waffles as well as the usual cereal, yogurt, etc. There was adequate parking for our small travel trailer and good lighting for security. There is a small outdoor pool that looked clean, but it feels like it is set in the open parking area in a very busy area. Our only minor complaint about our stay as a whole was the lack of a menu feature on the TV to determine if the movie we came across was just starting or almost over. The front desk told us they had just switched cable companies so that might be short term. Prices here were a little higher than locations closer to St. Louis proper, but we would stay here again.

Just stayed two nights. One night in a King room on the 2nd floor. The room faced the back of the hotel but the bed was extremely comfortable. The 2nd night I had two queens and while the beds were still comfortable there is a weird wire feeing about the edges. But I only noticed it when getting on or off that bed. Nothing while sleeping. There were a couple of ants on my bed and nightstand when I woke up in the morning (room 302) only two. The breakfast was good, the pool was good and the hotel staff was very friendly. If you eat at the attached Chili's you'll get 10% off if you show them your room key. Will definitely stay here again if I'm ever in the area. Book early also. I was eyeing this hotel when it was $91 a night I waited until last minute and it cost me $120 a night so by not booking early I wasted $38 over two nights.

The location of this Best Western cannot be beat, especially if you are following Route 66 across the midwest. The room was comfy, clean and well outfitted. Also, the hot breakfast was great! Like the other little luxuries,this was an appreciated treat at a "regular" Best Western rather than a "Plus". We were on the second floor with direct access to the breakfast area as well as,right from the hotel, a Chilli's Restaurant. We also noticed there was a White Castle across the parking lot for a quick bite. This pleasant stay made our St. Louis visit even nicer.

The room was spacious and clean. The outdoor pool has a very nice kiddie pool that our 4 year old had fun playing in. The breakfast was hot and tasty. The only downside, if there was one, was the bathroom was a little small. Overall, it was a great stay.

I chose the Best Western for its location as I had to attend an event nearby and it was perfect for my 3 night stay. The desk clerk Robert was fantastic. Probably the best hotel clerk I have encountered in sometime. The free hot breakfast was very good. Plenty of hot item choices and beverages. Chile's & Texas Roadhouse are within walking distance with a Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot. Close to all freeways, shopping and etc. Very nice part of town as well. I would definitely stay at this Best western again if I was to visit this area of Saint Louis again.

Good location. Nice breakfast with pancakes as an option which most other Best Westerns do not have. Mattress was higher on the edges which made it difficult to sit or get in and out of bed, but back did not hurt in the morning.

little overpriced but was busy weekend, nice rooms but bathroom a little small, walls also thin, could hear coughing and TV from next room and noise from hallway, friendly staff, asked for 1PM checkout and was not bothered before then, location close to restaurants and easy to find, but internet was very slow, also could not get internet from ethernet jack on desk phone, pool was filled but was not open

The Best Western at Kirkwood is a great location. I have stayed there many times and most visits are extremely comfortable. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel so you do not have to leave the premises. There is shopping in the area as well. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. My only complaint is the amenities are few and far between.A REALLY little shampoo and only bar soap. Very basic. Everything else was good.

Very nice stay at the hotel, the only (and I mean only) disappointing thing was the coffee was pretty horrible. The breakfast was adequate and the attached bar and restaurant were just fine. Lots of chain restaurant options around as well. Very nice stay

Location is great though little overpriced,clean m friendly staff, lots of restaurant around ,outside pool is bummer, spacious room,though internet speed needs upgrade,overall set up is fine though it's on pricey range

We changed rooms 3 times. 2 rooms were disgusting poop,blood,hair,ciggerette ashes in sink. Hair and pubs on the floor and tub. Room was so unclean and there was a bad odor. The 3rd room from a different house keeper was clean and great. Front desk staff was friendly and so very helpful they made a note of the problems and addressed them in the fastest manner.

This is now my go to place when I am in St. Louis. Clean, quiet, located right off the interstate and super friendly staff. This hotel has it all. And it's a great value. The rooms are spacious, clean and the bed is amazingly comfortable. The staff are warm and accommodating. An added bonus is there is a Texas Roadhouse in the same shopping area and you get a coupon for 10% off your meal. All in all, it was a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

We stopped here on our first leg of Route 66, our first impressions were ok despite its location on a retail park. I spotted a guy driving the hotel bus and asked him if the hotel ran a shuttle into St Louis. He was incredibly rude and growled “no we do not” and stomped off into the hotel. It transpired that he was the maintenance guy. With this bad start we entered the hotel, only to find that the hotel had managed to mess up our reservation for two rooms and we ended up on different floors. The guy on check in was great but had no idea of any of the local sites, including the chain of rocks bridge! That was a disappointment. That evening we explored St Louis and returned to eat at the Texas Roadhouse which was great. We also tried the bar in the hotel, which was very expensive. During the night, in fact at three AM we were woken up by house keeping banging and crashing around in the room next door, which wasn't acceptable. We complained to reception who couldn't care les! Upon check out, we were greeted by a very surly and rude woman, who was clearly in the wrong job. I definitely don't recommend this hotel the staff were appalling and seem to resent having guests!

Nicest group of employees you could ever ask for. Rooms are spacious and the amenities are in perfect shape. It is just what a weary traveler would want. In house restaurant, neat bar right there as well, and a Dunkie, Walmart, & 5 restaurants all within walking distance.

Breakfast was great and plentiful. Many, many choices. Great attention from the employees. However, the closets do not have rods to hang clothes! Unbelievable. Employees are both professional and friendly. Rooms were a tad small, would have preferred a suite, but was told none were available.

I gave this hotel an excellent review in July of '16. Sadly, I can only give the hotel a 'poor' review in April of '18. Front desk staff was very friendly but my room on the 4th floor was less than conducive to rest. During unseasonably cold weather during my stay it was necessary to run the room heater. All night long each and every time the heater kicked in it began with what I can only describe as a high-pitched harmonica sound followed by a cranking that continued throughout the heating cycle. ALL NIGHT LONG. Harmonica followed by cranking. I got zero sleep. Additionally, there was something wrong with the toilet's flushing mechanism. It gave the appearance of wanting to overflow upon flushing and then did this weird rapid empty/bubbling thing. I stayed at a very nearby hotel the night before my stay at the Best Western Kirkwood Inn and plan to stay there, not here, when next in the area.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was (I have not had luck with hotels). Everything was clean, the front desk people were very nice. The bar in the hotel was a good time. The only issue I had was whoever was in the room above me sounded like they were constantly partying (moving furniture stomping the floor). Not the hotels fault, the rooms to the sides of me I couldn't hear. I felt safe too and it is in a good location to shops and restaurants, I actually walked to many places.

Hotel very clean, the staff are very helpful. When I check in was greeted by an Asian man, very professional. He even gave my dog a treat. This hotel is pet friendly. Had a room on the ground floor which had a sliding door which is great. You can go outside and have your dog relieved herself. The hotel is by the expressway, which is 15 to 20 minutes to downtown St. Louis and attractions. Also a lot shops and restaurants close by. Excellent hot breakfast. Will stay here again when visiting in the future.

Great location with Target, Walmart, Arby's, and Dunkin all right there. Loved Chilli's being at hotel we ate there, it was GREAT! Did not get cold or wet because its in the hotel! Beds were very comfortable. Our party reserved 3 rooms. All close together and able to accommodate us. Thanks

We always stay at this hotel when going to St Louis. The access from the interstate is great, that staff is awesome, the rooms are spacious and clean, and there are lots of places to shop that are close, in case we may have forgotten anything for our stay.

The prices were good on this hotel but it was not the cleanest; not like it was disgustingly filthy, but the carpet was not as clean as it should be nor was the bathroom. On the plus side the staff was great and the breakfast was above average for a hotel in this price range. This is a great location for getting to downtown, central west end, the loop, forest park, six flags ,etc

We now stay here every time we visit St Louis. Staff friendly, rooms large and always clean. Breakfast excellent. Good location in KIrkwood which is nice suburb and many good restaurants nearby..plus easy to hop on I44.

This hotel has easy access to I44, very comfortable rooms with great showers, a class breakfast room, and a very nice premises with amenities. It is an upscale restaurant, but without a bar/restaurant, nor does it have a concierge or Bellman. It doesn't really need these extras, as there is an O'Charley's, A Texas Roadhouse, a Dunkin Donuts, and many other food vendors at the same exit. ( Even a Walmart) We were very happy with our choice of Best Western Kirkwood.

Great value ($80 for a king!) and a decent breakfast. Clean room. Nice little bar attached to the property with a friendly bartender with a heavy pour (the best kind!) My only issue was that the sheet kept pulling up from the corner of the mattress during the night.

Everything was about average. Nice for the price and good enough for our short trip. Noise of the workers each morning was out of control though. Service workers were loud, laughing and cursing across the hall. It was an annoyance every morning.

My cousin and I stayed here as part of our annual Oscars weekend this month. We just needed a nice place to stay to watch the show, so we didn't need much! Got a great deal on Hotwire, and the experience was great. Friendly check-in people, updated decor, dark room, nice TV, quiet night. Only gripe is the lack of a microwave in the room (there is a fridge), but we were able to use the one in the breakfast area. We ate breakfast down the street so can't speak for the morning options, but I like that a full breakfast is included. Always a plus! The hotel is very close to Target, Lowe's, and various restaurants, as well as major highways. Very convenient. Would highly recommend if you need a solid lodging option near STL.

My family of 4 stayed here for a cheerleading competition in St. Louis. The hotel is easy to find and within walking distance from Dunkin Donuts, Target and a few other stores. The lobby is stunning and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly. We were given a 10% off coupon for Chili's which is attached to the hotel and will actually deliver to your room for a small fee. We had a room with 2 beds on the 3rd floor. Room was very clean and quiet. My only issue with the room is the mattresses were not as comfy as I would have liked. They seemed worn in and old. The next morning we enjoyed the free breakfast which is your typical hotel breakfast. Overall we really enjoyed our stay . It's so close to the city without having to pay for parking and breakfast. Highly recommend!

Visiting family in St. Louis. The room here was very nice, clean and at the end of the hallway next to an exit door which was great considering we had our dog. Comfortable beds, lots of towels. Check in was easy too. We got up early to hit the road and went to the breakfast. It was recommended by the desk clerk. Considering we got there early, I thought the food would have been fresh. It seems we must have just arrived after a morning rush [it was a Saturday]. The egg patties were cold as were the sausage patties which was disappointing. I should have gone with the make your own waffles or pancakes!! Despite that, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying there again.

We visited St. Louis this weekend for a family wedding, and the hotel was close to the venue. It was clean, well maintained, and everything we expected it to be. The staff, however, we above and beyond for our family. During our stay, our seven-year-old lost a tooth. They staff were just as excited as she was about it, and listened as she expressed her concern that the Tooth Fairy may not know where she was at. Thankfully the Best Western Tooth Fairy arrived to save the day. None of this was expected, but it was extremely touching to witness. Thank you for going above and beyond to make a seven-year-old's day. We will be staying here again the next time we come up to visit family.

Choosing to not spend big on a hotel we opted to stay here based on reviews and price. It was an excellent choice. It's clean, the bed is very good. The climate control is pretty quiet and check in was a breeze. This will be my first choice when stay in the st louis area again. The shower was a great bonus as well. The wifi was automatic and I have to say, it's a great value and a nice place. More money at a fancy place wouldn't have made the time spent any better

Check in was easy; the room was bigger than we expected. It was clean and comfortable The bed was huge, lots of pillows. The side chair and ottoman were both comfortable to sit and sleep in (as my sister in law and nephew tested this out). We stayed for 2 nights, on the fourth floor. It was very quiet, easy to sleep. Breakfast was buffet style and tasted like homecooking.There is a corridor and entrance inside that leads to Chili's restaurant next door.

good motel off the interstate which has everything in one place so once you get there no need to venture out. Rest. Cheli attached to motel so you can dine there and rooms clean and Quite so you can rest. all you can ask for .

Headed to Entertainment event at the Fox theater and see the sights. Came up early incase of bad weather. For being New Years eve, I was impressed there was not much noise. Only had a couple minor issues: The room above us had a annoying kid that ran around, I guess I am more patient then my daughter or wife, however, they did wake my daughter, she had turned in early 7 pm. I suppose the kid finally went to sleep at 9pm. (Only noise I could hear was someone slamming their car doors at 7 am, been up since 5 am couldnt sleep, but nothing to do with the hotel). The fridge did not work, I did not complained but plan to notify when we check out, when it is 3 degrees outside, I suppose could have put my ice chest out on the patio area. We were on the 2nd floor, there was the bar, I glanced in but did not use, about 5 customers but it was also 7pm. Many restaurants, Walmart, and Lowes, in the close proximity. (oh, and chili's), Room close to the elevator, stairs, bar, breakfast area, room faced the parking lot. Hotel is very close to interstate & close to many amendities. If it wasnt for the fridge would have given a 5 star.

Customer service is stellar. Clean rooms. Convenient/good location. My fiancé and I were in town to visit family for Christmas, and we had our dog with us. We loved that all pet guests stayed on the ground floor, with sliding glass doors in every room that led out to a grass area. Highly recommend this hotel.

I booked a pet room directly with the hotel by phone 3 weeks before arrival to ensure that I had a pet room as I had stayed here years ago and knew that without a pet Room it was difficult to find a place to take dog outside on property as is surrounded by asphalt. I called and confirmed that pet Room reservation the day before arrival. I called the day of to verify check in time and that I had a pet room. When I arrived at 5pm, I was told that all the pet rooms were gone because “so many people kept coming in with dogs”. The clerk verified that I had booked a pet room but he had none to offer. I guess my reservation was pointless. I travel frequently with dogs and have never had this experience. I was given a room on 3rd floor instead.

The room was comfortable and had all of the accomodations that we required. The room was not made up on the second day of our stay. We left the room at about 11 am. The next day we asked at the desk to make up the room before we left the hotel.

My husband, 7 year old, and I found ourselves in need of a place to stay while our apartment building was being renovated and the fumes made our apartment uninhabitable. The staff was fantastic and incredibly friendly at all steps of the reservation and check-in process. The room was simple but clean and quite comfortable (and surprisingly quiet for being on the first floor). The beds were soft and there were plenty of pillows. The attached restaurant made things so convenient (especially with a 10% discount!), I loved being able to get a warm meal without having to walk outside in the cold! It wasn't the Hilton, but our stay here changed my perception about Best Western, elevating them from a budget hotel chain to a viable competitor at a great value.

We were there as a group, so I don't know the regular rate, but $230 for 2 nights was great. Clean, well maintained, good service, attractive facility and room. Pretty good breakfast. The only thing that would have made it better was to have an elevator at both ends of the hallway, because our group was spread over several floors.

Stayed here for night, as had to be at Shriner's Hospital in St. Louis very early next morning and we had traveled from Tulsa. Very helpful front desk. Sorry we had to miss breakfast as it smelled awesome as we checked. Clean and comfortable

As guardians of a 15 pound, white haired, fur baby, it can be sometimes difficult to find sleeping accommodations that suit Toto's needs. BWK hit it out of the park! The room had a sliding door onto a grass strip that gave our pet uddles of sniffing delights. Michael greeted us efficiently and warmly. Top notch!

Very comfortable room! Everything was clean and the staff was extremely helpful. The location was just perfect to be able to shop in the strip mall just steps away from the hotel as well as the Chilis restaurant that is attached to the hotel.

My wife and I went to St. Louis for a weekend get-away. Our plans included visiting the Arch and Six Flags, so I chose a hotel in the middle. Little did I know, Best Western Kirkwood was surrounded by everything we could think of. There was a mall within minutes, and Target and Walmart were on the same parking lot as the hotel. There were also several restaurants within sight from the hotel, and a Chili's is actually connected to the hotel. We'll definitely return.

I stayed at the Best Western Kirkwood last week and I must say I was impressed by the staff and how they greet every guest that walks in. I had the pleasure to meet Gladys who check me in and whose smile I saw every morning during my stay. I also had the opportunity to interact with Michael, Robert, Andrea, Ashley, Alex and Bryant they all made sure I had an enjoyable stay. I have visited a lot of hotels in my business travels, but this hotel is by far the best I have stayed at. The breakfast is located on the 2nd floor which I thought was great. An assortment of options for everyone from waffles, eggs, potatoes, and fruit. They have a bar that is located on the 2nd floor across from the breakfast area called Van's Traven, great Apple Martini! I will make sure to come back and bring my family to enjoy this beautiful property and all the fun activities that Kirkwood/St. Louis have to offer. Oh yeah and don't forget to stop by and see Camilla the Caterpillar on the 2nd floor!

This Best Western is my home-away-from-home. I stay there every time I go to St. Louis. It's always clean, comfortable, has a nice breakfast, convenient to local restaurants and two major highways and a shopping center nearby plus all the amenities you could possibly want.

This is an excellent hotel to stay at when you are in the St. Louis area! Excellent location, with many shopping opportunities and launching off location for visiting the greater St. Louis areas. Beautifully decorated. We were literally just there long enough to sleep but the beds were actual QUEEN SIZED instead of those stupid full sized that they try to make two people sleep in. Bed was pretty firm for my liking but the rest of my family loved it. I would love to come back when I have time to enjoy the hotel more. It was full but the only noise we heard was the heavy metal stairwell door banging (and it was right outside our door) when it was closed. Even that sounded like a normal room door from inside our room. Otherwise, not a peep to be heard from a full hotel, not even from the rooms above us. Soooo quiet.

Grooming of front desk clerks. Politeness to other people and not just to "men in business attire." Needs improvement in breakfast food and service. The location of this hotel is extremely convenient. It is in close proximity to the various private schools and colleges in the area for out of town parents and or relatives. It is an extreme shame that little things such a common courtesy are not found in this hotel. Personally had to assist a lady with children dragging a hotel cart with suitcases from the lobby to the elevator and all the way up to the front door of her room!

There is little or one parking for pickups & trailers but there a walmart parking lot is across the street that works out ok. There were no surprises,the room was clean and I sleep very well. It was a great location for where i was going. It's a ok place to stay. Will stay there again.

Still my favorite place to stay when in the St. Louis area. Two things really make it stand out, the private balconies and the breakfast. LOVE having a balcony of my own to enjoy and their breakfast is definitely a cut above the norm! I only have two complaints. One is that the wifi is just too slow and unreliable. I always have to use my own wifi card. Second thing is that the shower has very little water pressure. Wish they had adjustable shower heads, I like to turn mine to massage. Otherwise, it's great. Rooms are clean, hotel is lovely, beds and pillows are very comfortable. Having Chili's right in the hotel is nice too and here are lots of other places nearby to eat and shop.

This is by far the nicest and most pleasant stay ever at a hotel! It's beautiful and friendly and extremely convenient if you have a dog. There were so many places to eat close by and I personally loved the Dunkin' Donuts on the premises!

Stayed for one night on business at the Kirkwood Best Western. The staff are some of the best I've encountered. Robert accomodated our last minutes request and when we arrived he had it all ready and had such a great personality for someone working late in the evening. They keep their pool open longer than most out door pools, and its 9 feet deep. I dont' see that much any more. A great breakfast go us going in the morning. Cleanliness was great. Will be back!

We have family in the Kirkwood area, and we definitely will take advantage of the perfectly-located hotel when we have more than one night to spend in the area. Do think about booking a room here when you want to relax and take the train (instead of clogged freeways). Recent renovations knock it out of the park!.

The hotel had a nice ambience. Breakfast was pretty good. The only problem was that on the second night the room was only partially cleaned. Trash was not emptied, towels left behind bathroom door and new towels not provided. Seemed like work was started bit then interrupted and person never came back to finish. Easy access to highway and good price.

Bathroom floor was not as clean as I would have liked it; but the rest of the room was great! Stool was slow to flush. Bed s were very comfortable! Access to outside with our dog was great. Good location!

This hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The area is just shy of St Louis. The location was right off the 44 freeway and in a great area for shopping. It's also very close to Grant's Farm. The hotel was nicer than we expected. It was very clean, large room, and comfy bed. The breakfast staff was friendly and able to keep food stocked and tables clean on a busy Saturday morning. We won't hesitate to tell others to stay there.

We went here for my son's 5th birthday trip. This hotel is very nice and doesn't hurt that it's in a great location. Breakfast is good they switched up the buffet while we was there. The pool was a nice touch I loved that they had a second half for smaller kids it was 2ft, my son loved it. When we come back to st Louis we are definitely booking a room here again.

Hotel is in perfect location to get on I 44 and close to 270. Many restaurants close including Chilis attached to Hotel and Texas Roadhouse you can walk to. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast has many choices. Love the breakfast until 10am and checkout at noon. Will stay here every time we are in St Louis.

My boss and I came across this hotel when the three hotels that our client has corporate rates, with were sold out. I was formerly a meeting planner and have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world (Fairmont, Waldorf, Four Seasons, Halekulani) and I was still very impressed with this little hotel. I am now an interior designer in NYC and I thought the décor was fresh, interesting, and very fun. My client came by and even commented on how nice it looked. The rooms are very tastefully done, comfortable, and very clean. The hotel room carpet was plush and not your typical hotel carpet. It was also very well maintained, as hotel carpets can get sticky when cleaned improperly. The bathrooms do need updating BUT they are immaculate! It's too bad that due to current hospitality trends they need to be renovated, because everything was in perfect condition. The staff was also very gracious and personable. It is a little out of our way from our project, and located in the middle of a parking lot of a mall, but my boss and I agreed that we would love to stay here the next time we are in town.

Very good hotel in easy walking distance of lots of attractions. room was clean, lovely shower, excellent staff - I was a little concerned about a three night stay but the area is safe so no worries. Good restaurant attached for breakfast but lotsof eateries within easy walking distance. Parking is expensive if the hotel organise it at $56 per night - but we used 'Loop parks' north of the hotel at $25 for each 24 hour period - drop bags then park - do reverse at check out. Overall a great experience.

Older property with recent "cool blue" Euro style renovation of rooms and common area décor. Baths could use a little sprucing up match rest of property but were well equipped and spotless. Very clean property with helpful, friendly staff. Standard BW breakfast offerings. Lots of adjacent parking with national chain restaurants within walking distance.

The Best Western in Kirkwood is a moderately priced hotel with good accommodations. There is a warm breakfast, along with work out room and pool. My primary reason for selecting this hotel is the Tesla Destination charger available to guests.

We had been woken up by the pool guys at 6:45 am from there loud talking. Also we found that the pricing given on the 800 Best Western number was not the same as what we found on line at Best Western which is totally ridiculous and they would not honor the price after we found it because we had already checked in. Ho can they offer two different prices when they are the same company!!!!

Worst B/W we have stayed at. Breakfast a joke internet issues. I have never paid more at B/W than Kirkwood. I wonder if eclipse caused a price increase. Headed to Lee's Summit for 5 nights stay like night and day. May be you could learn from them.

All the staff at this hotel made us feel very welcome. This was the first time we traveled with our 20 lb. dog. We were assigned a first floor room with a sliding glass door to the pet-approved area. They gave us a bag with a dog treat, and plastic glove and bag with which to clean up after our dog. At reception, they even offered a pet blanket. The wireless internet was pretty spotty, but we were at the far end of the hall.

If you are a wheelchair user, do not stay here. I am in a wheelchair and the only way to get into the bathroom was to remove the bathroom door, once I got into the bathroom I only had access to the toilet and sink.

When asking about the jack hammering directly above my head. Not distant construction noise. I'm talking rock concert level jack hammering so loud it hurts your ears. The front desk response was to look me dead in the eye and say that's tough. No apology, no hard end time, no response whatsoever. I wish I could upload a video. Stay at your own risk. This was an abysmal situation, and beyond abysmal customer service response.

I HIGHLY recommend staying at this hotel. The rooms and the pool were very clean. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic! There are hot and cold breakfast choices. This hotel is remodeling and they have no problem putting they're guest right next to the noise of jack hammers in the next room . If you are renting a room to sleep you need to look for another hotel. And the staff is rude when asked if they can keep you away from the noise , they told me they don't know which rooms they are working in .

My wife and I love to stay here as we visit the numerous antique malls in the area. The Inn is located just off of I-44 and allows easy access to the city, Soulard Market, Busch Stadium and so many great restaurants on the hill.

The hotel was very clean, and the lobby is beautiful. All staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. We loved the breakfast, which had something for everyone (eggs, bacon, sausage, granola, cereal, yogurt, pancakes, and waffles). The pool was clean and the hotel even provided noodles and balls for the kids to use in the pool.

I have stayed here before the rooms are clean, bright and roomy. I like the Chill's connected to the hotel, very nice. Easy to find from the highway. There are stores and shops close by. I will stay here again next time I am in the area.

Nice place centrally located. Clean and good helpful staff. Nice amenities and plenty of stores around them, ease to interstate, and places to eat. Check in staff helped my get the maximum discount for the room by asking if I had ARP, military and such. Thank you for that. Reduced room rate by about $20.

Facility was clean and staff was courteous. Good variety of items for breakfast. Nice having Chili's attached to facility. Accomitations for pets was excellent. Great having sliding door out to grassy area for pets.

The staff was fantastic! They were so helpful! I stayed here during a work-trip in May. The room was great. I loved the Hallmark channels (especially the Hallmark Mysteries and Movies.) My room was close to the microwave. The hotel is in front of a shopping mall and it is close to a freeway entrance.

We needed a hotel that was off the highway as we were driving from Chicago to Branson. Although the beds have seen better days, it was fine for one night. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was satisfying with eggs, biscuits, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, yogurt and other foods.

The hotel was fine. Breakfast was great, the amenities were standard. We stayed here after completing the KATY Trail and were traveling by bike. It was super convenient to get to food, entertainment, and Target/WalMart - all were in the immediate vicinity. Ideally, we would have stayed closer to the train station, but that was our fault, not Best Western's. Did seem a tad pricey!

This property is in a great location and very courteous and friendly staff. Easy to get on Hwy 44, shopping, and restaurants nearby. Chili's attached for quick bite either in the room or in the restaurant.

By the time we got to St Louis we were getting into our stride in travelling Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica. When we arrived at Kirkwood it was already day 4 and 5, where we enjoyed a two night stop over. The first night was spent in and around the hotel as there is loads of eating options across the site within easy walking distance. There is also a large Walmart directly behind the hotel. To explore St Louis on the second day there is a Metro Bus stop right outside the hotel which took us to Shrewsbury and Lansdowne where we boarded the train into the city. We wanted to visit the Mississippi River and Gateway Arch and our stop on the Blue Route was 8th Street and Pine. For the princely sum of a combination ticket of @$6 we were able to explore the city. On return we used the outside pool and this set a pattern for the rest of our trip, as we stayed predominantly in Best Westerns across the States. This was a really good way to relax and cool down as the early summer temperatures in early June were beginning to rocket up through the nineties. Our room was spacious and clean with complimentary breakfast served on the 2nd floor each morning. Reception could not have been more friendly or helpful in assisting us with our queries. We used the laundry which was only a couple of dollars each for the washers and dryers which was a really welcome facility. There is also a bar located on the second floor, but for whatever reason this seemed to lack a little atmosphere. All in all a very good hotel, plenty of facilities with loads of dining options within walking distance. However, a drive through Dunkin Donuts, please, what is that all about?

Your question about our tenant, Dunkin Donuts...it is actually a full walk-in restaurant in addition to their drive-through. A number of our guests enjoy the proximity of their favorite coffee. We needed a hotel overnight while traveling with our two small dogs. This place fit the bill. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The room was clean (always a concern when you are in a dog-friendly room!) and had a sliding glass door that led out to a small grass area which gave us an option of taking the dogs out and not having to go through the lobby. Breakfast was as expected at 'all inclusive' but clean and with the usual variety. We did not use the pool, but there were plenty of people there. Otherwise, a quiet and easy stay.

But other than that my stay was great if I travel in the St. Louis area again this hotel will definitely be the one for me. It was not a big concern but the room had all the immunities that we were looking for except a microwave

The appearance of rooms and breakfast has declined in last 7 years. Kids used to be excited for staying at Best Western seems no more interested and thinks that we stay there because it is cheaper. Are not interested in breakfast anymore and prefer home cooked egg and sausage breakfast.

We have stayed at best western Kirkwood before, that is why whenever we go to St. Louis we stay at the best western hotel. They always give us great service at arrival, during our stay and upon departure.

Stayed at the Kirkwood Best Western for 4 day and 3 nights with 3 other family members. Complimentary breakfast was just ok BUT what made a just ok breakfast fantastic was due to one employee in particular, Pamela C. Her attention to detail of the food, the cleanliness of the whole area and the attention she gave to the guest who were present was truly refreshing and made us all happy to be in the company we were in. Thank you Pamela for putting a smile on our face and adding another great memory to our vacation. GO PACK GO! The other staff we encountered were also great and very accommodating. The rooms were fine. There's no microwave, fridge took 24 hours to even get cold, and the sink would squeal every time we turned on the hot water but again, totally worth it all because of the awesome customer service we experienced. Thank you Kirkwood staff!

We chose this hotel because it was close to the St. Louis attractions and out of the hustle and bustle. We were pleasantly surprised and glad we picked this hotel. It was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. It was very quiet in the evenings so it was easy to sleep. The beds were comfortable. The pool was clean and well maintained. Breakfast in the mornings were hot and they offered a wide variety of options. A great way to start the day.

There is ample parking; appears to be a safe area; a good breakfast is provided. We really enjoyed the Chili's restaurant attached to the building. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Our bed was comfortable with soft pillows.

Very helpful staff, everything you expect from a hotel. The small bar/lounge had a friendly atmosphere and the restaurant selection around the hotel was great for a family visit. Convenient access to the interstate and the Kirkwood area. The hotel was fully booked but did not have that over-crowded feel, the staff handled everything perfect.
