Best Western Plus Abbey Inn

It is the cleanest, best atmosphere, amazing staff, I highly recommend this place.

I would put this hotel at the top end of Best Westerns, the rooms are very nice and updated, beds very comfortable, the staff are very accommodating and genuinely friendly! The breakfast is also very good, they're really cooking. The price per night is a really good deal and the location is perfect for traveling, with a number of good restaurant options across the street. Gas and diesel also across the street. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area!

My stay was wonderful! Clean upgraded room. BUT when I checked out I left my favorite dress hanging up in the closet. I called immediately when I returned home and made the hotel aware of my dress. Housekeeping had not turned it in, so dishonest..I'm so disappointed and will never stay there again!!

This hotel is very well kept.Very comfortable, relaxing and thoughtful place.If you have family and are on a road trip and want to experience Utah i believe this is a very great spot to stay. Lots of amenities in the area gas, car wash, Walmart, restaurants , and Swigs! The hotel it self will be everything you need and more.I wouldnt book any where else in this area if your looking for comfort.Clean, welcoming, and great amenities. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, concise i might add.

The customer service me and my family received was so rude I couldn't even believe someone would say things that this lady said. I wish I would have asked for her name. She needs to be fired.

We stayed at the Abbey overnight twice during our road trip (up and back). It is a nice, clean and affordable place to stay. Breakfast was ok, omelet bar was good, bread products a little on the stale side. Overall a good place to stay in St. George.

We had a quick 2 night stay over the weekend to meet up with family for one day. We are used to staying at hamptons so I wanted to try out a best western to see how they compare. All in all, the hotel and rooms were clean and comfy. One bummer we were greeted with upon checkin is that this hotel does not provide service except on the 3rd night. This immediately made me realize I was going to have to clean my room daily, make beds and empty trash. So I did. There's something about having someone come and freshen up your beds and empty trash that makes a hotel room so nice to come back to after a long day. This hotel does not offer that. I also find it strange that this was the first hotel I have stayed in that has signs in the room with handy QR codes for tipping, when they don't even service your room. I am a big hotel tipper- so I would have tipped if someone had come into my room one time. I did however tip in the breakfast room where we DID receive excellent service daily. The breakfast is amazing! Also one note: we misplaced one of our room keys a couple of times and the front desk staff was very weird about it, asking for us to collect the family's keys up instead of simply asking for our ID and providing us with a new room key. A little inappropriate. It happened twice with different employees. If I stay here again, i will definitely ask the front desk to service my room daily even if I have to pay more.

The hotel was clean. The staff was kind and responsive. The breakfast was above our expectations.

If you're looking for a place in St. George that truly makes you feel at home, the Abbey Inn is it! What really sets them apart is the heart they put into their service—they honestly put the guest first in every way. While the walls are a bit thin (you might hear a neighbor or two), the pros totally outweigh that one minor detail. We loved the delicious breakfast and the easy access to everything, but it's the wonderful people working there that make this our absolute go-to destination.

Breakfast was good! SEWER GAS in bathroom! Stinky and UNHEALTHY! Stink coming from bathtub. Closed drain hole. Still GROSS! Immature front desk staff. Engaged in everything but doing their jobs. Seemed like we interrupted their conversation. Ridiculously loud music in lobby. The icky smell was the worst, and we felt like the staff would not understand what we wanted to tell them, and would not be conveyed to anyone who could do anything about it. SUPER GROSS!! Also website quoted different price!! General vibe…ICK! GROSS! DISGUSTING!!!!!

I have always liked Abbey Inn in Cedar City so I elected to stay at the Abbey Inn in St. George hoping it would be the same. I booked the room for Saturday and the price seemed fair. When I needed to stay on Friday, I called and arranged for another day. No mention was made that the cost would be nearly twice as much. I fell when I entered near the front door and dislocated my little finger. I got up and bleeding entered the building. They were kind when they checked me into the motel. I signed nothing and was again not told my Friday night cost would be nearly twice as much then my Saturday cost. The room itself was nothing special. Not like Cedar City. The stay was okay and the breakfast was good with fresh fruit. I did not go down to check out. I sent my daughter because I was still in pain. No mention of the total, but as we were driving home, I discovered the huge cost for the extra day, and I was so angry that no one had told me. I called of course and mentioned to the manager that neither of the hot tub were working which was disappointing and no one had given me the cost of the second day. After much talk she agreed to lower the total to an amount I thought I could accept. It has been weeks now and there has been not credit to my account. Very unprofessional. I would not ever stay here again.

Great stay. Always comfortable and the breakfast is excellent! Convenient to food and freeway. Rooms are quiet and easily acce to parking.

Abbey Inn Best Western is an outstanding hotel! Fantastic breakfast, as eggs to order along with self made hot waffles! Very clean rooms as the facility. Professional friendly staff! Great location, close to shops and restaurants. Heard pets, so assumed pet friendly.

Very nice hotel that meets all of my main requirements, i.e. clean, quiet, and convenient. Breakfast better than most Best Westerns with omelet station and different options each morning at the buffet. Hotel staff very nice. Room very comfortable. The exercise room (which seemed to be rarely used) is too small for the hotel size and with very minimal equipment. Not well kept (cleaning bottle empty several days before I mentioned it, no sweat towels most days), and water dispenser not working several days. Outdoor hot tub is covered and nice although one day water was cloudy. Another one, adjacent to the pool, was not heated beyond pool temperature.

Staff very friendly and rooms clean. Located within an hour or two of some great canyons. Surrounded by lots of dinner options.

Highly recommend this hotel. The social hour was a surprise. Nacho and salad bar along with a free drink was great. The Thursday host for this event was very personable.

Best Western Abbey Inn in St. George Utah is an outstanding hotel! Very clean facilities within the hotel and around the premises. Wonderful staff and very friendly and welcoming! Rooms are accommodating; comfortable beds, nice little refrigerator and microwave, ample towels and little amenities. Great location, close to many eateries and stores. The social hour was very nice with specific days and times. Easy off and back onto the interstate.

Our second stay in four years. It continues to be a gem. Great location, very nice amenities and a fabulous (for included) breakfast.

Unusually, we chose this hotel based on its breakfast reviews, so that we would have a wide selection. The location is perfect, with Zion just 90 minutes away, Las Vegas Airport two hours away, and natural wonders such as the Valley of Fire and the Grand Canyon close by. Unfortunately, our experience was different from that of most people. We had a large 27 m² room. When we entered, we were hit by an unpleasant, unidentifiable smell (a mixture of mustiness, cigarettes and dogs). Even my husband, whose sense of smell was affected by having had Covid, was surprised and said it smelt bad. I thought turning on the air conditioning would ventilate the room with fresh air. However, when I turned it on, it only worked a little. So we went to get all our things out of the car. When we had finished, however, someone outside started smoking and the smell of cigarettes wafted into our room (our window faced the back entrance). It was our last night before flying to Europe, though, and we had over 20 shopping bags and four suitcases in the room. It didn't make sense to go to the front desk to complain and possibly get a room change. Moving everything to another room would have taken forever. I was the dispatcher. I turned off the air conditioning, waited 20 minutes, turned it on again and checked that the air was clean and didn't smell of cigarettes. The interior of the room looked quite outdated. Breakfast is great for meat and egg eaters. There was a selection of cooked and cold items, as well as an omelette station where you could have an omelette made to your liking. For vegans, however, there was only fruit. Vegetarians like me missed vegetables and proper cheese. There was only cream cheese. I would have appreciated some fresh bread and pastries that weren't sweet. Some hotels in Germany, for example, have bakeries and bake fresh pastries for breakfast using basic ingredients - flour, salt, water, sourdough or yeast. This bread has been baked around the world for thousands of years without any sugar, preservatives, emulsifiers, stabilisers or colouring. Things were not often refilled. For example, I waited about 15 minutes for doughnuts. In the lobby near the reception desk, there was a proper coffee machine where you could choose decaf coffee, cappuccino, and so on. We didn't experience the Unwind Hour that people rave about in their reviews (we were there on a Monday), but that was probably because we arrived late and didn't even know it existed.

Great place for a quick stop, especially for the price. The room was clean, well thought out and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was much better than the typical Best Western fare. .We would definitely stay again if we were passing through St. George.

It was a treat to see the dog bed, treats, poop bag, bowls, and treats in the room. Great pool, breakfast, very well maintained. Pet fee was reasonable as I remember (so many places now seem to be treating it as a cost center). Staff was very helpful. The only down side is the pet relief area is a little small but if you walk around a bit you find spots. We definitely plan to come back

Great Stay in St. George! Went on a Tuachan Show Package Deal. Booked show tickets at a discount through calling the hotel front desk. Breakfast is included as well as a Happy Hour starting at 5pm. Happy hour includes One Free Wine or Beer as well as Free Mixed Sodas. There is a Salad Bar, Nacho's Bar and Popcorn at no cost included. This is something they started a couple of years ago and it makes the stay more enjoyable. There is a Coffee Maker and Tea available at no charge in the lobby area. A Full Hot Breakfast is included in the morning until 10am at no charge. We always stay here when in St. Geoge, UT. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rates a Return: Absolutely!

Very comfortable and clean hotel. Front desk staff was very accommodating. Breakfast buffet was excellent - even offered made to order omelettes. Room cleaning was on a every other day basis, but if you wanted daily they would oblige at no charge. Would definitely stay there again if we returned to St. George

Very disappointed with this facility. Room was not clean headboard very dusty, asked to have room cleaned while we were out, came back after 3 hours and room was still not cleaned. Had to leave the room again in order for it to be cleaned. Breakfast was one of the reasons we decided to stay here as we heard there was an excellent omelette bar. It was open on Tues morning, but not on Weds or Thurs, as were told the employee needed a day off- can they not train someone else so it can be open? Or the desk should let you know about the breakfast when you check in but nothing was ever said to us. The rest of the breakfast was lacking, no flavor in anything and some things so overcooked. The pool area was nice, just needed some covers on the hand rails as they were so hot, kids almost burnt hands on them. Not sure is this is someplace we will return to.

We love coming here when we go vacationing in St. George, UT. Have been coming for over 25 years now and will not stay anywhere else! Great amenities and services. ______________________________________________________________________________________________.

Room was great (the only downside was mattress too soft but that is so subjective) Breakfast buffet was very good and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here in the future. Parking was convenient and they always have some kind of treats available.

This is an older property that was well designed and constructed. It has spacious hallways and rooms. No area feels too tight or small. Interior rooms are well designed for a comfortable stay. For example, rooms have a large mini fridge, microwave and water faucet/sink in a stand alone countertop so you don't have to use the bathroom sink for rinsing food containers. It takes excellent management to maintain an older but well built property. They take pride in the services offered - from a surprisingly good breakfast, a well maintained pool and an inviting patio area w tables and chairs. Even the gardens are well maintained.Though we didn't use the fitness center the equipment appeared to be of commercial grade and good quality. In the morning we noticed a small army of staff cleaning and performing maintenance throughout the facility. Management of Best Western Abbey is outstanding.

This is a very nice hotel in St. George and I would highly recommend the same. We were driving from Page in Arizona and reached the hotel around 4.00 PM. The check in was very smooth and we were in our room in minutes. Everything was available and room was nice and roomy. Parking was ample and looking was also perfect with some fast food places within walking distance. The hotel had a happy hour in the evening in which salads and snacks along with soda's and wine were served free of cost. There was also a hot breakfast available with a choice of pancakes, eggs, yogurt etc. in short a very good hotel to opt for.

The outdoor pool was amazing! The service was exceptional. The sodas were a great touch! The breakfast and the unwind hours very tasty and worthwhile. We love our stay so much we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back in the future. ❤️

Another comfortable 2 nights at a convenient location. Excellent customer service. Very good breakfast including omelets made to order. Clean & quiet. All that I want plus points on my Best Western loyalty card. Top floor room was really quiet. Top floor has a NO PETS policy.

The staff was excellent. We were recognized as Platinum members and offered the appropriate amenities. The room was very clean and nicely appointed but the bathroom needs updating. The breakfast was amazing and offered many choices , and we liked the fact that breakfast service went until 10:00am.

Comfortable bed's, Clean and Quiet, convenient location, easy access to freeway multiple restaurants in walking distance, Helpful and pleasant and knowledgeable staff. I was surprised by the pet, but it was a cute and good-natured dog, almost made wish I had brought mine, and a good breakfast with lots of options to choose from.

I pre-booked 7 nights for a suite. I was told the room would be cleaned every two days. It is the morning of my 7th day and my room was cleaned once. The owner posted a reply to my Google review that my room was cleaned every two days. He or she also posted that the fitness center was never closed during my stay after I stated that I was told upon arrival that it was being worked on. I was offered a $50 gift certificate which I agreed to until I found out it was for Best Western. I declined it as I will never stay at a Best Western again. In my previous review which I posted yesterday, I wrote that my room was cleaned twice. When I returned to my room at 5pm yesterday, I found it was not cleaned. I did speak with a housekeeping supervisor who was rude and not interested in a solution. After she left, a very nice young man at the front desk, emptied my overflowing trash and issued new towels, coffee keurigs, and make up remover. I don't consider that cleaning, but thought it very nice and accomodating. The owner never spoke with me directly, and the fact that he/she wrote that I lied, are not good business practices. I would never accuse a client or person of lying unless I first spoke with them. The staff was great, and the breakfast fantastic. As far as the owner and supervisor go, extremely rude, uncaring, suspicious of the truth, and quick to jump to conclusions.

Very nice hotel. As BW rewards members, we were given chocolates at checkin. Nice room. I liked that they have outlets near the bed for charging electronics. Microwave and fridge are handy. Good breakfast. Plenty of parking and kind, helpful staff.

I booked this hotel because of the ratings. The hotel was very clean. It is showing its age a little bit but trust me the service here was amazing. The first thing that got my attention was this place had 4 people working the registration. The hot breakfast had 4 people working in there. They offer a nightly happy hour with snacks and beverages. That is so unusual to me at this price point. I would gladly stay here again

From the so-comfortable perfectly firm king size bed to the delicious made-to-order omelets for breakfast, this hotel hit all the right notes! The South wing was especially spacious and well-appointed. We will stay there everytime we travel through St. George.

Was a wonderful stay. Room was very clean and inviting. Customer service was excellent. We were there because of a family bearvement. We couldn't get to breakfast on time and on our way to hospital my son ask for fruit he was given 2 bananas and an apple. The kitchen. Went out of their way. I can't say enough about our stay

We spent one night in this hotel and we really liked it. The reception staff were very friendly. A very good breakfast...you can order an omelette of your choice...We really recommend this hotel. There are all nearby shops and such...Good place. Thank you all

We really enjoyed this hotel. We stayed for 2nights before making our way to Springdale. It was clean and had very comfortable beds. The staff were so lovely and kind! We enjoyed the social hour where you could get a complimentary alcoholic drink as well as enjoy a complimentary salad bar as well natcho station. The breakfast was good with lots of food choices. It was also nice to sit by the pool and relax after a day of hiking. While it is on the outskirts of town, there is a lot of walkable restaurants nearby and the Staff recommendations were bang on.

By for one of the best Best Westerns Plus we've ever stayed at. It was very hot (103) the day we got to St. George. We were greeted by friendly staff who gave us a goodie bag with 2 bottles of ice cold water. Check in was easy and fast. Our room was cool and AC worked very well. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel has a Wind Down Hour in the hour with drinks, non-alcahol and beer and wine. There was a well stocked salad bar and a nacho bar. We were able to make a dinner out of it and not venture out into the heat to find a restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. All the usuals (scrambled eggs, meat, potatoes etc) were avaiable along with omelettes cooked to order. We highly recommend the Best Western Plus Abbey Inn in St, George, Utah.

Clean, lighted and inviting lobby with sitting area & coffee machine. Front desk staff are all very polite and helpful . The breakfast was great. On a Saturday, there was an egg station to customize your eggs. A great spread of breakfast items. I found the market convenient when I was hungry. Rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Just minutes away to shopping and restaurants by Uber. Several fast food restaurants walking distance from the hotel. I loved my stay. I stayed 1 night before hiking the canyons and chose to stay in this same hotel for 2 more nights a week later.

The Abbey was a wonderful hotel to stay in St George. Every one in the hotel were very nice , cheerful and helpful. The free morning breakfast was great! Great omelets!! We would definitely stay again if or when we come back to St George. We loved st George!

I was in town for a conference - this was one of the hotels in the hotels in the room block. Easy access, restaurants walkable - beautiful scenic area. The desk clerk Garrett was very personable - my room was a family suite - in a separate building. The room was great 2 TV's and a fireplace - very well laid out. The staff was very welcoming to our group - additional welcome amenities. They served a daily breakfast near the lobby - it was good. A couple of things I noticed that needed to be addressed - finger prints on the windows, 1 ply toilet tissue (should of been 2), could not located the tissues at all. A nice touch would of been some bottled water. The staff was very in tune with the customer. I liked the shampoos and conditioner in the shower. Frankie the driver/maintenance was great very friendly and wanted the guest to be taken care of. My bathroom also had a jacuzzi. All in all a great stay. Keep Up the Good work. If back in St. George I will stay here. Nice to deal with people who understand what real hospitality is.

This stay continues to confirm why I exclusively look for Best Westerns wherever I go. The rooms were clean, and beautiful. The breakfast was phenomenal, a huge out to the management, the cooks, the servers , we were very impressed. Thank you Best Western for always taking care of us. We are always greeted with water bottles and treats.

The beds were the most comfortable of all of the Best Western Hotels I have stayed at. The check-in process was quick and the staff was welcoming and pleasant. All staff was welcoming and smiled and said hello as we passed them. Excellent end to a 10-hour driving day! Unfortunately we were unable to get breakfast on our way out but it looked and smelled wonderful

After a day in Zion Park, we chose the Abbey Inn for our stay as we traveled south to Vegas. What a pleasurable experience that was! We arrived just as they started their afternoon Unwind with free drinks, salad and nachos. Our room in the South tower was so quiet, clean, comfortable and spacious. But the biggest surprise was the breakfast buffet. Wow! Omelette bar and so many delicious food options, it was the best breakfast we have ever encountered.

The staff and breakfast are really something special! EVERYONE says hello and smiles. The breakfast includes a made-to-order omelet station, GOOD biscuits and gravy, waffle makers etc. On this trip the hotel had a complementary salad, soda and beer/wine bar in the evening.

My wife and I feel that Abbey Inn is the best place to stay in St. George. We have stayed there several times, and it is always a good experience. The rooms are clean and well-kept. The staff is always responsive and helpful. The location is ideal for restaurants and other activities.

I felt very welcome when arriving at the hotel. People were very enthusiastic and also our pet, a Golden retriever, was very welcome. No need to report the dog before our arrival. Although we didn't have time to use the pool area I checked and it looked very nice. Breakfast was just that bit more you usually find.

Outstanding, highly recommend!!! One of the most exceptional Best Western Plus Hotels I have stayed at! Friendly, helpful staff. Room came complete with a dog bed, bowls, a toy and treats. Wine, beer, salad bar and nacho bar upon arrival and the most amazing breakfast selection including an omelette bar. Nothing but great service all around!

If you are going to Tuacahn, this is a great location. Close, but not too close to the freeway and lots of dining options nearby. They have a cook who makes fresh omelettes at the breakfast. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful.

We have been touring on a Harley for 21 days. This was the absolute best of the Best Western Plus we stayed at. Spacious ,clean, sooo comfortable, great pool and happy hour, FANTASTIC staff. The best breakfast in 21 days with fresh super variety.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Receptions desk friendly and knowledgeable. COMFORTABLE mattresses. Amazing breakfast. Took advice of Italian Resturant across the stress---outstanding choice. Small but great fitness center.

All staff members were wonderful, friendly, personable, and professional! Very comfortable rooms and handicap room is setup just great for a WC guest. Breakfast is just outstanding! Eggs to order and many prepared items with make your own waffles to the fresh fruit bar is just outstanding to start the day. Very clean facility with ample parking. Close to many establishments, as grocery store, restaurants and a great location to the national parks.

The best breakfast we've had for this level of hotel. Made-to-order omelettes, chicken-fried-steak, real scrambled eggs (not the typical, water-filled kind), biscuits and gravy…these were just some of the breakfast options that stood out as a level above the rest. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Our stay at the Best Western Abbey Inn in St George was great. A very clean and comfortable room; provided coffee (yay!), had a fridge WITH freezer (yay!), bed was comfortable, shower was perfect, all staff were very accommodating, friendly, respectful, and professional.

Could not have asked for anything better. To us, everything was perfect including price, room design, breakfast, cleanliness and friendly staff. It had a beautiful pool with lots of lounge chairs even though we able to take advantage of it this time.

The staff is very helpful, the room is clean, breakfast is awesome. Love that they have a welcome bowl of dog treats and toy waiting in the room for our dog! Excellent! Strongly recommend and will book this Best Western hotel again when we back visit

Good stay although a lick of paint would not go amiss. Excellent, well trained, friendly staff who go out of their way to help. Comfortable beds, good shower and wifi. Excellent parking and a/c kept the room at a decent temperature considering it was 110f outside. Good location and easy to find. Close to everything.

I was a guest in your hotel from Friday July 19, through Monday July 22, 2024. My two kids and I had a wonderful experience staying in your hotel. We enjoyed the pool several times and the breakfast was fantastic! But the best part of our experience was what happened following our stay. I live in Farmington, Utah. We made it back home Monday night. As I was unloading our luggage I opened my purse, pulled out my Airpod case and opened it up and my Airpods were missing! I looked through all of my stuff. Then I searched for them using the "find my device"feature on my phone. While my case was in Farmington, my Airpods were still in St. George. I was so disappointed and resigned that I would probably never see them again. It was all the more disheartening because they had been a hard earned gift from my student council children. The next morning (today!) I decided it was worth calling the hotel to see if they were in my room (222). McKay answered the phone. He was extremely professional and positive on the phone. He said he would look for them and placed me on hold. When he returned to the phone he said he HAD them! They were in lost and found and were pinging (because I was calling them). He asked if I live near St. George and when I said I live in Farmington and won't be back to St. George until September he said he could ship them to me using the credit card on file with my hotel account. I was amazed! Congratulations on hiring people who understand quality customer service and integrity! This experience has given me hope for our world. McKay isn't the only hero in this story. Whomever cleaned our room and found the Airpods and had the strength of character to return them deserves much praise. I am so thankful to them both. I hope there is an incentive or reward program available to employees who exceed expectations because I know both McKay and the other employee are very deserving. Do whatever you can to keep such good staff! With Sincere Gratitude

We will be back. Hotel is clean, comfortable, with excellent free breakfast, pool and jacuzzi. We appreciate the staff who are friendly, welcoming. Location is great for restaurants and not far from Tuacahn. Special shout out to employee, Betti, who greeted us in morning when outside having breakfast. He asked about our stay, made sure we knew about ammenities, like free bicycles, and treated us like family.

Would I recommend this place, absolutely, overall, it is very clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent, especially those taking care of the breakfast. The only negative thing would have to be the curtains. Because of the AC unit being on the same wall as the window, curtains could not be closed the whole way. I have been to other hotels that have the same set up and they adjust the curtains to the unit so they could be closed.

Staff were excellent. The 5-7 little meet and greet was fun, nacho bar, salad bar with free drink. Breakfast was the best we have ever had. Fantastic buffet with omelette station made to order. Fresh cut fruits Grits, Home style potatoes, Biscuits and gravy

Stayed there on our way to Montana and liked it so much that we stayed there on the way back. Customer service was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the pool was refreshing after a long car ride. Great dog friendly options too.

The rooms are great. The breakfast is amazing! The staff are friendly. We loved that they have a “hydration station” where we could fill our water bottles. Every possible thing was done for our comfort. We don't usually love most best western hotels and have had some bad experiences with some of them…but this one is one of the best hotels we have stayed and and we always try to stay there when we are in St . George!

We are so sad that we could only spend one night here on a long drive home. We were hoping it would be a nicer hotel than your average one and it absolutely was. The rooms were nice, the beds had soft mattresses. The evening “unwind” was an unexpected bonus with a complementary salad bar, nachos and cheese, popcorn and drinks. Good morning complementary breakfast was exceptional compared to many other hotels. We appreciated the made to order omelet bar, the yoghurt bar with many toppings, and the other breakfast fare like hashbrowns, bacon and oatmeal that we enjoyed. Looked nice, but we did not have the opportunity to use it. I hope truly to stay here again in our near future.

This is definitely my favorite place to stay and it comes at a reasonable price with courteous and efficient staff.

Very nice room , very reasonable price compared to further up North. Didn't have much time to explore the area/ town because we traveled and drove long distances from Yellowstone but the room is very nice and comfortable I'd definitely use this hotel as a reference point to visit Zion park but unfortunately we're heading to AZ then TX

Very nice hotel, not too far from Las Vegas when heading back east. Room was in adjacent building, very close to main office. Room with pull out sofa was a good space. Breakfast was good, well stocked. We only stayed one night but they have complimentary bikes for guests if you are staying awhile. No complaints.

This is a well-organized hotel with a friendly staff, comfortable beds, a shower which has a grab bar (a must-have as one gets older), a business center and the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. It compares favorably in all ways except the view to the other St. George hotel we stayed at, the Inn on the Cliff.

This place is very nice. Enjoyed our stay and employees are excellent. We'll be back! My wife loves the jetted tub! Places centrally located. You can visit quite a bit of Zion national Park from the south entrance to the east entrance and close enough to C ok Google edar City as well.

I have been frequenting this hotel for over 25 years and have come to celebrate anniversaries and famlily vacations. I have felt that I have always been reasonable accomodated after mentioning to the hotel staff any issues I have had. They have been prompt to these request.

Our stay was less than 12 hours, on the way to Zion NP, so we didn't experience all of the amenities. The room was up to date and comfortable. The breakfast was impressive, with homemade oatmeal and omelets on demand among the choices. The staff in that room was very attentive. The location is convenient, not far off I-15. St. George has plenty of restaurants and stores, including a supermarket up the block to stock up on items for your vacation.

Best Western Plus Abbey Inn was one of the best hotels I've stayed in in a long time. The room was exceptionally clean, which is one of the highest priorities for me. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The early online check-in worked seemlessly, which was really nice because we arrived late, and it only took about 15 seconds for me to grab the key card and be pointed to our room. The breakfast was delicious, and the dining room was clean and well-staffed. The pool looked beautiful, and I wished I had had time to use it. The fitness room was small but adequate. Would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and helpful. Hotel is spotless. Rooms are large and very comfy. Towels were soft and fluffy. Breakfasts were amazing and included eggs, potatoes and bacon. Very good blueberry pancakes. They even had an omelette station. We hope to stay longer next time.

We only stayed one night but I have to say it was a pleasant one! The room is nice, beds were fairly comfortable although mattress was a bit too soft for my liking possibly due to its age or just the style of it. The free snacks and drinks late afternoon were a nice touch. The breakfast was the best we've ever had at any hotel including other Best Westerns… so many choices including a custom omelette station! Great stay, price was very high for this class of hotel, but we did enjoy our stay.

Our room at Abbey Inn was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent and even included a fresh-made omelet station. Very good value overall!

The Best Western Plus Abbey In is still one of the Crown Jewels of lodging in the St George area. Always a great stay, great staff and amazing breakfast. I stayed here over 25 years ago when it first opened, and I swear it still has that “new car smell” (good thing) even to this day.

Very nice rooms, beds were comfortable. Enough parking space outside. They offer EV charging for extra fee (you gotta download an app). The pool area had only one entrance open, so we had to walk around to get there. Extra pool towels were available right by the pool. This inn has 2 buildings, there are parking lots between them. Some of the rooms are dog friendly. Breakfast area was clean, nice selection. They do rotate it a bit every 2, 3 days. Wifi worked well, TV too.

When I need a hotel in St. George this is the place I've been to several times. It has consistently been a pleasant experience there. The rooms are clean and everything works. Overall, the employees care about the job they perform. From the front desk employees, to the kitchen staff, they all take pride in their work. The rooms don't feel like they've been used hundreds of times - they are well maintained.

Upon reservations, we had requested an accessible room and also asked for a room with a hide-a-bed. We were traveling on a government rate, and upon check-in were told there were no accessible rooms, as well as "you got such a good rate and to grant your requests, it will double the price". So the room we would've liked went empty. The rooms were passable as far as cleanliness, but need updating badly. Further, you must request housekeeping by 12 PM, which we did. Returning to our room, it wasn't looked after, and we needed everything replenished. Got told to come to the front desk and they'd see if they had a couple clean towels for us. We did that, and put the dirty ones outside our door. They were there 12 hours later having been there overnight. We were really really disappointed with the overall experience.

I found the coutesy and frienliness of the staff, as well as the unbelievable variety of the breakfast service, to be' second to none' in my experience! In short, Abbey inn is most professional and couteous above all others in my experience!

The smoke alarm started chirping. I had to call the front desk. The old guy at the desk tried to fix it but could not. At 1:30 am he finally offered us another room. We were exhausted but had an appointment the next morning and so we did not have much rest. He told us he would discount the rate, but he did not. Also, the air conditioning unit rattled. I had to put a suitcase against it to stop the noise. The place is getting old and they don't seem to be keeeping up on maintenance.

Nice updated motel with great beds & pillows. We appreciated the small coffee area with its own bar sink - not having to use the bathroom vanity. Our room was "pet-friendly" with wood-plank vinyl flooring, very clean. The pup was surprised to find a dedicated pet bed, food & water bowls, and a toy and treats! First time we had encountered this level of accommodation for our pet. Great breakfast bar with cook to order omelets, a wide selection of dishes and plenty of seating. (The chorizo burritos - so delicious!) BW Abbey Inn will definitely be our go to lodging in St. George.

Convenient location, great staff. We visited the Parade of Homes in St George. The breakfast and Unwind hour were great. Weather was rainy, so didn't use the pool. It was really quiet despite the college teams staying there for swim meet.

This Best Western Plus is amazing. The staff is awesome and very helpful. Check-in was a breeze. The rooms are large, clean and nicely furnished … and the beds very comfy … and just an overall feeling of “being a step above”!! The gym was a nice large, very clean room with cardio equipment and weights… and I could do a nice workout after a long day of driving … there was an awesome outdoor pool that I did not get to try this visit but it looked very inviting and I hope to try it on my next visit. The breakfast was incredible … and they had an “omelet guy” who was making omelets to order … they were GREAT!! This is my favourite Best Western Plus.

We were visiting the temple and stayed at this beautiful hotel. Everything from check in to check out was awesome. The breakfast has many hot and cold choices and they are very good. Would definitely stay here again. Awesome experience.

Whenever we are in St. George, we only stay at the Best Western Abbey Inn. It is such a great hotel! I always know what my room will look like. Everything is top notch! I highly recommend the Abbey Inn!

Great room and bed marred by some unexpected service issues resulting in a 3-star versus 4- or 5-star rating for our 3-night stay. We were attracted to this hotel as frequent Best Western guests, and based on its many listed amenities. The staff were friendly, the complimentary evening reception great, and the bedding very comfortable. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't deliver on its "let us know if you need anything" promise by not changing our used towels, after 2 nights, as we requested and acknowledged by hotel staff. (After being gone all day, we returned to a bath full of towels, as in the photo, and had to re-ask for towel delivery.) Due to time, we skipped a made-to-order omelet our first morning; unfortunately, on our day 2, while the omelet station was set up, the maker was missing in action throughout our breakfast; on day 3, the station was gone altogether. If a hotel is asking guests to take the time to notify staff of room needs (like fresh towels) and advertises "made to order omelets," it needs to deliver. Two other issues: the pool/hot tub opens 8AM each day, but was completely out of towels our final morning, necessitating tracking down staff to ask. A hotel that lists its pool as open at X time should be ready to receive guests at that time. Lastly, the hotel's main building rear guest door (facing Main St.) was unlocked during the night, not requiring guest card access. This is a safety/security issue.

Stayed here with a huge group for my kids sports tournament. Clean Hotel in a nice area, friendly staff, and everything is close by and walking distance. Breakfast was amazing. Beds were very comfy, best sleep I had. Highly recommend staying here.

My husband and I only stayed here for one night. Our flight was cancelled from Cleveland and we had to book with another airline which caused us to get into Vegas later then planned. When I called the Hotel they told me not to worry. I have a room. I called back on our way there to let them know we would be there by midnight. When we showed up we had a room. I think it was the last one. I was so glad that I called and that they held our room. There was someone in the lobby looking for a room, if we didn't show up at midnight, I think we may have lost our room. Thank you for holding it. Check in and check out was easy. The room was nice, the only think it was right across from the ice machine and someone thought filling up there cooler at 7am was a good idea. The breakfast in the morning was good, they even had an omelette station. We would stay here again, I would just not stay in room 335.

The best hotel in St. George, UT! Staff is excellent to work with in resolving any issue. They were prompt and courteous. We have always enjoyed our time when visiting St. George. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

We wanted a place for a night or two where we could rest up and clean up after a week of exploring Utah's canyons. And we wanted to be relatively close to the airport in Las Vegas (For our purposes, a two-hour drive was close.) We didn't need anything fancy, but we needed a place that was clean, efficient, comfortable, and reasonably priced. This place checked all boxes.

An ok hotel. Stayed here for two nights to be convenient to meet our Backroads group. Hotel is very tired and in need of major renovations. Rooms were ok, clean but very worn. Rugs in hallways were disgusting. Breakfast was ok. Best part was how close it was to the center of town and some really nice restaurants. I would not stay here again and would check out other hotels.

We were on the road to Los Angeles from Idaho, just wanting to spend a night but weather dictated we stay an extra. This hotel made that a pleasure! The usual motel breakfast was far exceeded with omletes made to order. Yum. At cocktail hour, one can grab a free drink as well as a free salad bar. Rooms were clean and comfy. Staff cordial. Oh, and complimentary charging for a vehicle! All is in s cute town. Good luck in bad weather for us.

The eggs cooked to order as well as the fully loaded omelet bar was like the icing on the cake to all the other fantastic hot breakfast item choices. The gluten free options available for my wife, who suffers from Celiacs Disease therefore having a severe gluten allergy, was very much appreciated and the staff was so courteous and kind. The breakfast area was clean and fully stocked with an awesome variety of hot and cold choices. Yogurt bar looked fantastic, although we were too full to try it. Coffee choices were awesome and, again, staff was awesome!

This hotel has modern rooms and service is great. The breakfast is very good and the omelette chef made it excellent. The hotel is located close to the city with it restaurants and sites. It is very close to the freeway.

The best place to stay. Rooms are spotless, very friendly staff, plenty of parking, great pool, exercise room, and the best free breakfast in Utah, hands down! Coffee is wonderful, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravey, waffles, burritos, sausage and egg muffins, fruit of all types, juices, espresso machine. Oh, and they have a happy hour with drinks and goodies M-Th in the evening. Out of this world.

The Best Wester Pus Abbey Inn was not only affordable but very enjoyable! The staff are kind and helpful, especially when I locked myself out of my room. The breakfast was the best breakfast I have seen at a hotel. There was lots of variety and choices which is nice when you stay a few days or have picky eaters. There is something for everyone. The make your own omelet was delicious!

We selected this property based on the many reviews we had read, and it did not disappoint. It was great in every way, from the friendly check-in, clean, large room, free snacks and drinks for Happy Hour, and very extensive breakfast which included made-to-order omelets. This will be our go-to property whenever we travel through St. George.

Types the front end management wasn't rund and dismissive. The first room wasn't wrong. The second room smelt like they had just gotten done giving some one a perm. By the the time I got to the 3 room I had lost all of my fight and just stayed there.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations. My husband and I stayed in the Executive Suite as a mini getaway. It was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The staff were all friendly and happy. We had an appointment in the early afternoon and the staff allowed us a late checkout. It was a great stay and we would absolutely do it again someday.

This was the best hotel of my recent multi-state, 1,200-mile trip. Clean as a pin, wonderful pool, breakfast (with Gluten Free option for celiacs) and a fun wind-down happy hour with snacks and drinks. Stay here!!

Our Corvette club goes to St. George, Utah, a couple of times a year to attend shows at the Tuacahn Center for the Arts. This was our first time staying at the BW Plus Abby Inn, and it won't be our last. Everything from the people behind the desk, the cleanliness and size of the rooms, the pool and fitness room, and above all the complimentary breakfast spread. Omelets cooked to order, fresh fruit, and all the trimmings. They also have a complementary salad bar between 5-6pm, with one free beer or wine and other drinks too. It was a great stay. We, as a club and individuals, will be coming back to the BW Plus Abby Inn. In addition to all of this the rates are better than the other hotels that we stayed at in the past.

My wife and I have stayed in other hotels, but this one was at the top. Everything was perfect in regards to the condition of the room. The bathrooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. My wife slept like a log. The buffet breakfast was a homerun. They had everything you could imagine from customized omelette pastries, and make your own Belgium waffles with a medaly of fresh fruit.

Best value and first class property. One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast and relax hour selections were above average. Everything was better than what was advertised. This hotel would be my first choice when going back into the ST George area.

The internet never worked. I contacted the concierge, and they told me to call a phone number that was on the back of the card they provided for the internet access instrucions, nobody ever answer that phone. Then i went to the front desk and the guys there said the same thing, that they are not capable to provide help. This level of service doesnt make sense. It is like i dont have water or ac in my hotel room i paid and the hotel command me to contact the plumbing service or an ac technician. Do you see the nonsense? Is this the level of service you are offering?

We have been loyal guests of the St. George Best Western Plus Abbey Inn for easily over 25 years. The property and rooms are well maintained, the complimentary, very generous full breakfast has so many options that everyone is always happy, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. My family and I traveled to St George to an Utah Tech University Honors Banquet for our daughter. We chose the Best Western Plus Abbey Inn for its location to the University. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. The highlight being the breakfast the hotel provides! It was a wonderful start to our day! The hot breakfast included scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, waffles, a yogurt bar with fruit and granola, oatmeal bar with stir in options, and the highlight of breakfast was the omelets that were made to order! We would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to friends and family!

Loved this place. Service was great, no issues whatsoever. Room was clean and so comfortable. Better than some of the nice rooms in Vegas for sure! We got the room with the tub, didn't use it but looked great.

We stayed in the tower. I think it was worth the extra money to have a little more space. This hotel has a fridge, microwave, and cocktail sink in each room. The beds were reasonable. The breakfast is earlier than most, which was very helpful, and really really good for a hotel breakfast. They had biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes, bacon, cereal, a fruit and yogurt bar, an omelet station, and several rotating special options. Our entire swim team stayed there, and the breakfast stayed stocked and fed them all!!

We were delighted with our 4 night stay at Abbey's Best Western Inn. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and the free breakfast was amazing! So many options, and so delicious! It was so relaxing to come home to comfort after our activities for the day.

Everything was great overall! The room was clean as well as the premises. Excellent overall for the price. Love the continental breakfast! The only negative was the very paper thin bacon for breakfast. Other than that there was a nice vibe and we were well-rested from our trip heading back to California from Logan.

My husband and I stayed at the Abbey the end of October. The front desk staff was very friendly and the room was nice, but dated. They have a wind down time from 5-7pm and offer a free salad bar, nachos and popcorn along with a free drink for each guest. It was a wonderful extra that we really appreciated. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. We used the outdoor hot tub while we were there and it was quite beautiful. It was a nice stay.

I spent one night in a hotel But it went I payed as for 2 nights, In my bank statement there are 2 payments for the hotel. Both of them for the same night 11/02/2022, The Best Western Plus Abbey Sant George made 2 charges one was $ 161.41, the other was $256.08. When I called to the hotels front desk I was told that it was my banks error. Although both payments are marked from Best Western Plus Abbey Saint George . I wish that my trip and my stay at the Hotel won't bring to me any problems. The cleaning team was chatting so loud in the morning.

We were there for the ironman world championships, prices were inflated because of this event. On the plus side breakfast was plenty full, there were loads of options. Staff were pretty friendly and helpful. The hotel is fairly dated in terms of decoration, but clean. We stayed 5 days and didn't get anyone clean our room at all. The hotel is a good walk from the town centre, but this was ok for us. This trip was great but it was more the event that made it special.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It's decor is very upscale and the service matches the decor. We felt staff went above expectations to make us feel welcome. The room was clean and very well appointed with an extra wet bar area. We were booked in a standard king room. Although we didn't take advantage of their unwind hour with complimentary drinks and snacks, we had a quick peek at it and it was very nice. We would be happy to make this a regulator stop on our annual trip to Arizona

We stayed as family in this hotel for the Iron Man world championship race. Lovely staff, always very helpful. This hotel offers breakfast and parking which is bonus. Nice outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. Laundry room is also available, charge is $2.50. The rooms are very dated, they feel dark. Beds really needs mattress update same as pillows. Very uncomfortable. We think price was really overpriced what we paid for our stay, but we have enjoyed St George. Beautiful place. Great experience

Booked an overnight stay at this hotel on our way to Salt Lake City, and Abbey Inn at St. George, Utah is an amazing hotel. Our room was impeccably clean, the staff went out of their way to make us enjoy our stay, great service, very nice buffet breakfast, comfortable beds, as soon as you come through the doors the personnel at the front desk welcome you with a big smile. We will definitely be booking again on our next visit to Utah.

We stayed in the suites. The beds were comfortable. Best pillows we have had in a long time. I usually bring ours and forgot and it didn't matter. Very clean rooms and public areas. Breakfast was different each day (in a good way)! They really take breakfast and cleanliness seriously.

Stayed at the hotel while attending the Huntsman Games. Centrally located with a short drive to both my venues.The buffet breakfast was good with my favorite scramled eggs, bacon and potatoes. Many other choices as well. Staff were excellent.

Spacious room and excellent breakfast. While it's not cheap, for the price we paid, compared to other hotels we stayed at during our 2 weeks in Utah, the value was excellent. We booked a 1 bedroom suite in the South Building and had a nicely sized suite that had a separate bedroom for my husband and I and our kids shared the sofabed. The bathroom was large and there was a second sink outside the bathroom, which was helpful for four people. We didn't really use the efficiency kitchen since we only stayed one night but it would have been handy if we had stayed longer. The pool area was small but provided plenty of fun for us. The breakfast was the real star. Definitely the best included breakfast we had during our 2 weeks. Lots of hot and cold choices and the make-your-own belgian waffles were far superior to a Days Inn we stayed at the night before. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in St. George.

The employees, especially Ryan at the front desk does an excellent job. Always friendly and willing to share his smile. The room is always clean and the amenities are a great value. A great location in a good area.

We are on a 14-day National Park tour of Utah, Arizona and Nevada. The Best Western Plus Abby Inn in St. George has the best bed, pillows, and breakfast by far when visiting the national parks in Utah! It was very clean and quiet. Highly recommend!

This hotel feels more like a fancy resort. From the beautiful pool to the gorgeous interior decorating, this hotel has a clean and inviting feel, without feeling too cold. We were so glad to have such a lovely place to spend our time, and the staff was very helpful. We checked into this hotel after arriving at our previously booked one and having a horrible check-in experience there. Abbey Inn immediately accommodated us on the spot when we called, and gave us a fantastic price as well. We will definitely be staying here again!!

I stay here as often as I travel through St George and am never disappointed. The rooms are always very freshly cleaned and the breakfast is the best any traveler could hope for. I would recommend Abbey Inn without reservation to any traveler going through St George.

Great location so many activities near by. Clean room and hotel, Ice cold fruit infused water when you walk in the door. Excellent pool and spa. Very helpful and friendly staff. The morning breakfast has lots of choices.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were friendly. One option for breakfast was omelettes made in front of you. The variety of options for breakfast was great. Food tasted like homemade goodness.

The place is nice, clean and well kept up. We keep coming back here when we come up from Vegas for the Tuacahn musicals. The breakfast is included and amazing. includes an omelet stand, fresh fruit, lots of bacon, grits, toast, muffins. Malted waffle maker. Well worth an extra five minutes of driving.

Best location, price, amenities, rooms, best of the best! Don't stay anywhere else, the pools, grounds, front desk all pristine. Did I mention this is the best location, has the best price, has the best amenities, the best pools, the best front desk staff? Just book it already.

We always try to make a point of staying at the Abbey Inn; was there almost exactly one year ago….still an excellent hotel!! This is a “Plus” hotel that should a rated as Prime. A warm friendly greeting when we arrived, top floor as we asked and no issues with my Service dog. Our room was sparkling clean as was the entire hotel; even saw night staff checking hot tub chemicals at 6pm on a Sunday (wow). Fitness room small but impeccably clean. Breakfast was outstanding……we will be back!!!!

We have stayed here several times and it is a great place to stay. The rooms are very nice and we appreciate having an elevator. The staff is very friendly and we have always been happy with our stays.

Zach the front desk guy was friendly and helpful with the questions I asked. Housekeeper Margot cleaned the room for my arrival. It was super clean being a housekeeper I know what it takes to get it to that high of a standard. The pillow options on the bed was good I able to find one that worked best for me. My kids loved the pool of course. The breakfast in the morning was great. Never had so many options before. Even my kids found something they liked( which is difficult). Oh and the best thing was what they can unwind service( hopefully that's the name) got a soda and snack before heading out to shop. Love that they do this for the guest. Will stay again

Spotless room, hotel has a convenient location, and front desk was really helpful and friendly. I had an issue with a duplicate booking (my fault entirely) and they solved it quickly. I will for sure stay here again.

This was the last of 3 hotels on my cross-country trip and it was the least expensive and best. Staff were helpful behind the front desk, breakfast was actually good, and the room was nice. Some details - nice room, top floor, good access to parking (but only one elevator at the front). The stairs are wide, convenient, and easy to use, so loading the car was just simple exercise. As with every hotel I reviewed on this trip, the focus was on the linens and towels, plus bathroom surfaces. The carpet appeared clean and there were no stains anywhere in the room or on the walls. Despite this cleanliness, the attention to detail in hotels these days is lacking and there appears to be little effort to do the little things. In this case, there was food behind the curtains on the air conditioner, the chair went unvacummed as evidenced by the hair on it, and there was at least a week's worth of dust on the leather welcome book, desk, and TV stand. This is really not a good look when everything else was fine. Breakfast was good - there was an omelet chef (Kalan) who made me a good ham, green pepper, mushroom and cheese omelet. He was pleasant and skilled. The scrambled eggs looked good and the bacon, albeit a bit underdone, was good and better than anything offered at other sites. It was also the least expensive hotel of my trip and was in a good location near the highway but with places to eat close enough and gas stations nearby. I recommend this place with the suggestion that they pay a bit more attention to the cleaning.

My wife and I have stayed here several times over the years while visiting Zion. It's always been a great experience, and the remodel & expansion has taken the property to the next level. We were in the newer expansion this time and the rooms were great. Plenty of space for our group, clean, with comfortable beds. The pool is a great finish to the day, especially in the summer heat. The breakfast bar is the best we have run across with a great selection of good food, and the topper is Christian making you omelettes to order. They also have a soda & salad bar in the evening and that was an unexpected treat.

Really enjoyed our stay. Loved that they had a dog bed with treats and a toy in the room for our pooch. She felt really comfortable there. Nice clean room and they had everything we needed including shampoo and conditioner. Definitely worth paying a little extra to stay at the Best Western than staying at the other places close by.

Nice place for a quick romantic getaway. It was the perfect place for our son and daughter in law to stay after their wedding. The room was clean and nice. The staff members were welcoming and helpful.

Perfect rest stop after a long drive. Great location close to main highway (no highway noise) so easy to locate and easy to get back on to continue trip. Comfortable, quite, friendly and great breakfast.

Hotel is in great location, very convenient to restaurants. Bed was comfortable and room a nice size. Very clean. I recommend asking for top floor room unless the sound of people walking above you isn't a problem.

We spent an evening at the Abbey Inn at St. George, Utah. Without a doubt the BEST hotel stay we had on our trip. Staff was efficient and friendly. Room was very clean and a GREAT mattress. The next morning we had breakfast at their dining facility and were pleasantly surprised. Great selection of breakfast foods to select from and very good coffee. Even have an omelet Chef! Loved it!

Service was excellent!! Staff was very professional and helpful in places to eat.Rooms was very clean and roomy. Will defiantly come back! Bed was very comfortable, slept like a baby! Rooms were very quite and comfortable.

Let's cut to the chase: if you're looking for somewhere good to stay on the way to Zion for a decent price, this fits the bill. And they have the single best breakfast I've had at a Best Western in my hotel life. They go above and beyond the usual bad eggs and unfrozen sausages. There's an omelette bar. There's fresh muffins. It's great. BUT if you're here to also get some work done? Not so much. The internet speed is NOT good. I was averaging under 3mbps. And it's less good in different parts of the hotel. THat's the only thing standing in the way of this being a great experience. I hope they get it fixed.

This hotel is very clean, outstanding staff, and best breakfast ever!! So many choices for breakfast, and the seating area is welcoming and lots of space to sit. I highly recommend this hotel. Easy on and off access to the freeway.

Everything worked out well. Anything I needed was provided with a smile. Breakfast was great. My room was quiet and comfortable. It was nice to be able to get well needed rest during the business trip.

Employees PERFECT! Hotel PERFECT! Rooms PERFECT! Super easy check in and housekeeping wasn't loud or making us feel rushed when it time to check out. I have a toddler and it can be hard sometimes gathering our stuff while still handling a toddler. I would recommend and stay here again.

I live outside of town on a farm and my dog had surgery which required she stay off her paw and stay out of the dirt. I don't mind paying the pet fee in addition to the room charges but St George summers are brutally hot and I would love to see an improved location for the pet area. It's nice to have the astroturf for the dogs to use the bathroom but it's unfortunate that walking across the burning parking lot is misersy on their paws.

What stood out is that even after our departure, the staff went out of its way to assist us. Remarkable. That aside, it was a pleasant stay, and no doubt we would stay there again when we're in the area.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Abbey Inn for one night with our dog. The room was very clean, two clean dog bowls were there, our bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. We were quite pleased with our stay.

I went to visit my sister in St. George. She lived right down the street. The hotel was clean, updated and had a really good breakfast. There were several fast food and sit down restaurants within walking distance. I had a really pleasant stay.

BEWARE of this hotel if you don't want room that has been occupied by a dog or you are allergic to dogs or other pets. There web site is very misleading. It leads you to believe that there are pet friendly rooms and non pet friendly rooms and yet when I saw a man walking in with a huge boxer dog and there was a large pile of dog poop right in front of the door to the hotel I got concerned. Anyone who will not clean up after their dog will allow it to do what ever in a room. I called the front desk and asked them what rooms are pet free and I was told that all rooms are available to pets but they get and extra cleaning. I do not believe a any type of cleaning of a couch, easy chair, carpet, beds and curtains can be cleaned well enough to remove dog hair and dander etc.This use to a non pet friendly hotel and was pleasant to stay at and I will never stay there again not only because that they allow pets in all rooms but also because they are misleading the public . Can you believe their claim to industry leading to cleaning their rooms. I asked to have the general manager call me but no call yet. I like pets but not others who sleep etc in a room I am going to stay in.

Quick overnight stay while on our road trip. Very attentive and welcoming staff. Clean and comfy rooms,great breakfast with lots of delicious options. Reasonably priced. Met all our travel needs. Would totally recommend.

This was probably one of my kids favorite stays. They have a relaxing hour where they feed you appetizers, and one of the best breakfasts of any hotel we stayed at. I love that they had things like postcards right in the lobby. I rated a little low because the hot tub was not working, the pool was insane at night time with a bunch of college aged kids. And they only had one washer available. Price point was good, location was good, although it isn't a much desired location. Would stay again as well as recommend.

My stay at The Abbey was very nice! The room was clean, AC was excellent and the bath was large and shower volume was very good. At the free breakfast, they had a chef making omelets which was tasty. The location was close to many fast food restaurants and not far from State and local parks. Use one of their free bicycles and ride it thru Snow Canyon Park north of the city. Staff were all polite and even the pool was refreshing after a day of hiking. Price was more than fair, actually a bargain to what I normally pay for a night. Would stay again.

Needed pet friendly a room in St. George while attending a meeting. Abbey Inn was perfect, from the reservation to check out and throughout our stay. Nice room, spotless, all amenities. Even a dog bed, bowls and dog biscuits. The staff, particularly Zach at the front desk and the breakfast team, were great. Excellent value among other hotels in the area.

This hotel continues to be a favorite when traveling to St George. The staff are very friendly, the food is great, the rooms very comfortable, and a great price. They are conveniently located right off the highway and have ample parking.

We were on way home from being evacuated from Yellowstone, and made reservation only last minute. Couldn't have been more pleased with bright lobby, fast checking, friendly staff. The room was very nice, little evening buffet and morning breakfast were excellent . Special shout out to Zach who was a pleasure to meet and took time to walk us to adjacent building where our room was and generally showed us around. Perfect stop on interstate, near Zion and 90 minutes from Las Vegas.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, room was a bit cramped. Pool area was average and hot tubs were not working. Breakfast was good. Hotel is NOT walking distance to nice downtown area. Lobby and breakfast area are nothing special. Can't understand how this hotel is ranked #1. Price was reasonable.

Learned day of arrival spa closed for retiling. Was told it's noted on website.  It was not at time of booking nor with confirmation booking nor followup email nor on website at check-in.  Received discount but very disappointing after long drive and horrific traffic jam on freeway.  Requested no air freshener yet room reeked of it. Was told housekeeping did not use it today. Then must be in carpet furniture and a/c system.  Although breakfast had eggs to order, the other items were usual buffet fare.  

I stay in St. George 3-4 times a year. There are 3 BW's in the area (now only 2, not sure what happened top the other). When it is me-pay, i stay at the lest cost place, which is never Abbey Inn. When it is company-pay, I stay here because of the breakfast. It is the best in the BW's I have stayed. Problem this trip is the hot tub not working (bad). Also the TV's are 2nd gen TV's and need to be upgraded.

All the hotel staff were very helpful, respectful and bent over backwards to help me and were not annoyed that I didn't have a reservation. When I asked to see a room before staying, the front desk clerk was happy to do so and gave me several options for a room size and floor preference. Unfortunately these days It is not often to have service personnel who are not disrespectful, dismissive and rude to a senior citizen. I experienced NONE of that at this location.. The room was very clean and had a desk and sitting area off the bedroom. The WiFi was easy to access and had fast speed. The bathroom, that I feel is the most important room to gauge overall cleanliness, was perfect. There was an evening salad bar with Nachos and drinks. And breakfast with several options. The personnel in this area were very helpful and made sure the tables were clean and disinfected after each use. The tables were set-up with social distancing and the option of taking food back to room. Fresh ingredients that were refilled often, All in all - I would stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting this area. (St. George, UT)

The room we had was large. A second sink was located outside of the bathroom which was nice to have. A full breakfast was included that featured made to order omelets, that was much better than what is served at a typical Best Western. I would stay here again.

I attended a conference at this hotel and it was great! The rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast was delicious, the pool and hot tub were clean, the conference facility was great, too! The staff were all very nice.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The room is clean and quiet. The Unwind Hour and Breakfast are amazing. I highly recommend staying at this hotel when in the area. I stay in a lot of hotels and this is a top pick for sure!

The happy hour salad buffet was so filling we didn't have to go go out for supper.....too tired to drive more anyway. The morning breakfast was the best of all the other Best Westerns we stayed at for our trip which included six other Best Westerns. Close to any thing you could ask for for breakfast was there!!!

The hotel was extremely clean. Rooms were nice. The beds were the most comfortable hotel beds we have ever slept in. Love that they offer a “happy hour” in the evenings for guests. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great staff and breakfast, we loved the pool area. Did not like how dirty the room was need to improve on cleaning the rooms better. For the price I paid each night expected the room to be spotless. Besides that everything was great! I would give them a second try.

Great people, food and room. Was there for an AD conference. Very friendly staff at all levels, the breakfast was fantastic with fresh food and a good variety. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint about the entire experience was the slowdown of internet after 9:00 PM.

The suite was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast had many options and the food was very good. The location had easy access to many sites that we wanted to see. Red desert garden was a favorite. We would certainly stay here again when we are in the area.

Great place for an overnight stop. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Wind noise is very bad and window needs to be opened and pillows placed at base of door to stop extreme whistling sound during night.

Road trip that took us to St. George for a night. Great service, when I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday they upgraded us to a suite. Great breakfast. Super easy to get around and conveniently located.

Stayed in double Queen room. Beds were comfortable. Room was elegantly furnished. Sitting room was nice. Everything was clean. Breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel. So much variety…bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, waffles, fruit.

Check in took two minutes, the hotel was clean and quiet. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully decorated, and the breakfast is the best breakfast spread I have seen ever in my life. We had two rooms, and they easily moved us so that we were closer together. They even gave us some free amenities that we forgot.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Abbey Inn, while in St. George going to the parade of homes. The overall experience was very nice at a great rate. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've had at a hotel that provides this service.

This hotel is very well kept, staff is ready to help with any situation, breakfast is outstanding and they had made to order omelets. The hotel is easily accessible from the highway and rooms are clean the the beds very comfortable.

After a 10 hour drive I needed sleep badly but was woken up at 8:30am by pounding on the door from the cleaning people then again at 9:15 waking me up to clean the room. Check out isn't until 11! I showered to get back on the road and no conditioner in the wall dispenser. There are a lot of hotels in this area. Pick a different one. This one is horrible and very disappointing.

Hotel is clean, very accommodating, and of course the best part is the employees. I've definitely stayed at the Abbey several times before for work trips so this was far from my first stay. I unfortunately lost a very expensive piece of equipment after a trip but it was noticed late, so I was not sure where I had lost it on the trip but memory narrowed it down to having it when I checked out of the hotel but not after getting home. I was coming back for another work trip just a few days later so I thought I would ask their management if he could look at the surveillance cameras. I remember exactly when I checked out and left the building. Josh (management) was very nice, he actually was able to trace it down and see that I did leave the hotel with the piece of equipment in question. This in my opinion is going way above and beyond and I am so grateful for this because it helped me narrow it down to the point where I know where it went missing. Thanks Abbey staff!

Front desk Tais Sydney Dillon friendly and eager to please young adults. Room prepped to requests. No air freshener added but every step in carpet released prior air freshener.  Heated outdoor pool and covered hot tub. Pool towels same as bath towels and soft.  Breakfast made to order and all hot options imaginable. Staff willing to help. The 3 tip jars were puzzling since breakfast included in room charge. Stayed here b4 will return when in area.

I loved our stay here. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was great. The breakfast buffet was so yummy! The bed was comfortable. I loved the tv channel options also. I have a new favorite place to stay!

The location is great and accessible to many local restaurants and services. The breakfast is good with a lot of options for the whole family. The rooms are comfortable and fit our family well for a weekend filled with baseball.

We were passing through and needed a place to sleep. Comfortable beds, clean room and a breakfast fit for champions !! We got in late and got up early. Night clerk was super helpful and it was worth going to breakfast in the morning . Thanks Best Western !

A great place to stay. Abbey Inn made my trip enjoyable and without worry. It is close to the freeway and for getting around the city in quick fashion. I have used BW Abbey Inn on St George Blvd over the years and glad to see the Plus location.

We've stayed at this hotel before, LOVE the jetted tub suites as we don't own one and it's a special treat to soothe old, worn out body parts! The suite was extra fancy, extra clean, even had a fireplace (electric) for ambience, plenty of room and amenities including refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker. We chose king suite, HUGE very comfy bed - not too firm or too soft. Definitely better than we remember the last time we stayed here (though that time was great as well), will continue to stay here when we wanna be spoiled!

Pros: Clean hotel, nice room. Friendly, helpful staff. Very generous, free breakfast with some home-made dishes. And a bonus for dinner: free salad, chips, salsa. Cons: Painfully slow wifi. Intermittent and frustrating. Not sure we will be back due to wifi problem.

I normally stay in a Marriott if I choose a Hotel ( I like Airbnb). There was a Courtyard Marriott nearby, but I went in to check out this Best Western. It was very clean and updated. I booked a room at this Best Western that was a much better price than the Courtyard. I was traveling home with injured ribs - so my bed needed to be very comfortable….and it was! The room was beautiful and updated. I liked the toiletries enough that I didn't unpack my own higher quality ones. I will definitely choose a Best Western in the future.

Overall this is a better than average BW. The room was comfortable, although the mattress or box spring might be in need of replacement. Somewhat soft and bouncy. The breakfast was definitely better than most. I haven't been to a BW with an omelet station before. I didn't use it, but the rest was quite good.

The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the south tower and it was very elegant. Room was nice, especially for the price. My favorite part of the stay was the breakfast, they had such a great variety of food and it wasn't the basics you see at every typical hotel. Plus there is a complimentary salad bar in the evening and an unwind area as well! Only even better would be more comfortable pillows! I highly recommend staying here. This will be our to go everytime we go to st george.

The staff in this hotel is excellent. The group that runs the breakfast bar were first class. The housekeeping group understands perfection and does an excellent job. When I accidently left my laap top bag behind they reached out to me by phone and notified me. they were kind enough to hold it and I picked it up on my return through Saint George.

With bad weather changing our travel plans, we ended up booking here at the very last minute, figuring it was a good stopping point on way back to LAS airport from Utah's national parks. We chose it for the reviews and location (just off highway) and we were glad we did. It's a large hotel but staff was friendly and efficient and it was quiet when we were there in early December (I suspect it could be noisy if there are large groups staying there). And as reviews noted, the breakfast was terrific (another reason why we chose it since it was going to be a long travel day). The breakfast was more than the typical hotel buffet; we almost missed the make-your-own omelet bar. Hotel seemed very clean but no one wearing masks--which we sadly discovered is the norm in St George.

The hotel was clean and quiet, in spite of being busy, and there was plenty of parking. The front desk staff were all friendly, and check-in and check-out was quick. We were glad they had both a water carafe and coffee in the lobby for guests. The expanded breakfast was delicious.

Clean rooms, great price for the stay. They have a great continental hot breakfast. Trucks next door out our window woke us every morning before 6:00. We will stay again, just choose a different side!

This is our second time staying at the hotel and it has been stellar service. The breakfast is something you have to rave about. It's truly amazing. They have so many options to choose from and have gluten options as well.

I've stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels that weren't as clean as this hotel. The room was understated and well maintained.The room didn't smell like pets, and I didn't find any evidence that pets actually stayed there except for the provided food/water dishes and the dog bed (which were lovely accommodations). The breakfast was great. We'll stay here again!

This was our first time staying at this place, and in St. George. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted by this property. The only piece of constructive feedback is that the door in the bathroom blocked the toilet and shower, so we had to walk in and close to door in order to have access to sit on the toilet or turn on the shower. And, the toilet paper was on the wall behind the toilet, so we had to twist unnaturally in order to reach.

Friendly, extremely helpful staff. Best Breakfast in a motel in years. Omelet bar on top of every other thing you might want. Because the silly form requires 200 words, I'll carry on. I had finished what I had to say, so I'll say it again. Really a great experience all around. We are recommending this motel to all our friends who travel I-15. And would return in a heartbeat.

We have stayed at many of the hotels in St George but the staff and amenities at Abbey Inn have won us over. We had a disastrous start as the company we went through for the reservation messed up our reservation and refused to fix it leaving us stranded. Zack, at the front desk, did an amazing job helping us and getting us a good deal. The hotel offers a wind-down in the evenings with salad, fruit, and soda. And can't say enough about the breakfast. The most amazing hotel breakfast I've ever had. They had an omelet bar on Saturday (not sure if just weekends), served chicken fried steak, even grits which pleased our Southern souls.

This is the only hotel to stay at in St George. Clean, friendly hotel with lovely rooms. The early evening is a nice touch. The morning breakfast is the best. Good job Abbey Inn. Don't change. Little or nothing to change.

We stayed just one night in Abbey Inn. Check-in was very easy and the agent was very friendly and polite, and observed my reward member status. We each received a bottle of water, and as a gift a small package of cookies. The breakfast was great with fresh made omelets and plentiful other items. Wifi was included. Hotel was clean. The service in the hotel was very friendly. I would stay there again if passing through Saint George.

From the outside, this place looks to be a bit dated; but inside of our room, everything was fully modern. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and it had excellent wi-fi. The hotel's breakfast buffet was mediocre at best--far below the current industry standards. This property and its staff members are doing absolutely nothing with regard to protecting guests from COVID: no masks, no encouragement to wear masks or socially distance, nothing. Although our stay was uneventful, the room was grossly overpriced for the value we got.

We have stayed at the hotel numerous times. They always meet or exceed our expectations. The additional salad and soft drinks at 5:00 pm every evening is fantastic, Hits the spot. If in this area, consider this a nice, quiet and comfortable place to stay.

We selected a room on the top floor which was very quiet. The king studio was spacious and comfortable for 2 people. The refrigerator was very quiet compared to the usual we find in hotels and came in very handy. It was nice that the shower also had a bathtub. The bed was very comfortable and they had lots of pillows. Every single one of the staff members we encountered was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

One if the best BWs we have stayed at. Very kind & efficient staff. Quiet,clean room. Great breakfast with many choices & tables. They also offered an Unwind Time in the late afternoon with sodas & snacks.

We stayed here for 3 nights with 2 grandchildren. The hotel fit our needs perfectly. The pool was warm on the cool, fall days, and there were always towels available. The breakfast was the best we have seen since the beginning of COVID, as they had fresh items, an omelette bar with a cook attending the customers, and a staff that was very attentive. Try the Abbey Inn!

Clean accommodations and friendly service. Great value for the money spent. Excellent location as well. Cleaning staff were very helpful when I needed some extra things for my room, and went out of there way to accommodate my needs.

To be honest, I was very hesitant to stay at a Best Western. In the South, Best Westerns are not hotels in which we would stay. The reviews for the Abbey Inn, however, were great. so I booked this hotel for two nights for our visit to Zion National Park. From the hotel, it is an easy 45-50ish minute drive to Zion. The roads are great. While not a new hotel, it is a well-taken care of hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. We booked a king room--it was very clean and comfortable. Our bed was especially comfortable, and the hotel was very quiet. What is truly awesome at this hotel is the breakfast! They have a chef and staff who cook eggs, hash browns (not frozen), pancakes (not frozen), biscuits, etc. On our last day there, the were cooking personalized omelets. I highly recommend the BW Abbey Inn.

The place I always stay whenever I am in St George. Clean rooms, well maintained. Always a variety of pillows so I can find one that's just right. Probably the most important thing about a hotel. The wrong pillow can ruin the experience. I know that you know what I'm talking about. Friendly, helpful staff. Fitness room, great selection at breakfast too.

I suppose this is a relatively new building, so maybe a year from now this won't be as nice. That being said- the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, spacious and well cared for. The mattress and pillows were just right. The breakfast bar was outstanding for a free breakfast, even had a guy making omelettes to order. This place was just what we needed after a week on the road.

We stayed here for 4 nights while we explored and discovered the St. George area. Every single staff member was kind, caring and attentive. The room was comfortable, the linens were good quality and the beds and pillows were high quality. The daily breakfast was out of this world for a mid sized hotel chain. A different "special" every morning, in addition to the huge variety including eggs, waffles, cereal, oatmeal, baked goods, potatoes, meat, cottage cheese, yogurt and toppings! Will definitely stay here again!

The Best Western Abbey Inn is an outstanding hotel with tremendous customer service, a fabulous breakfast, a really great evening appetizer event, comfortable beds, and large rooms. The hotel hallways were quite and the hotel was very clean inside and outside the rooms. The front desk staff were very friendly and wanted to be sure our check-in and overall stay met our needs.

Great property. Friendly staff. 4 EV chargers (which isn't a _lot_ but for the size of the property, pretty good and better than I've seen in a lot of smaller towns). Decent prices. Breakfast was a little weak - but its COVID, so I get it. Night guard seems to patrol the property regularly so that's nice too.

Front desk check in was very helpful with a room upgrade. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The nachos, popcorn and salad bar in the evening was a pleasant surprise (we enjoyed this feature). The pool was refreshing. Our overall stay was exceptional... the beautiful St. George area is always a fun place to visit. -thnx-

Room rate was excellent and the hotel was one of the better kept I've stayed during my 5 months of combined travel during the past 12 months. The entire staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and so was the entire hotel. I was surprised with the hot buffet style breakfast which was very good. I will definitely stay here again the next time I'm in St. George.

Upon driving into the hotel the first thing we noted was the grounds were excellently maintained! Shrubs cut, flowers done and no trash around hotel. We checked in and Emily was an absolute gem and this is the norm of this hotel, she asked us several times of our room was ok. Kiddos should go to the GM as he/she has instilled a sense of pride in their emplyoyees, everyone was friendly, helpful and just happy to assist you! Don't see that too much anymore and means alot! We requested a top floor and immediately received it...Room was spectacular as with the decor of this hotel. You can see the upgrades in every detail...from rooms, to hallways and even outside (plumbing is hidden behind fence). Benches are everywhere surrounded by greenery. Pool is sparkling,2 hot tubs..doggy station, charging stations for vehicles, washing station for bikes and finally loaner bikes. No detail forgotten...then a welcome snack from 5-7...wow!!!! Our bed was downy soft and we slept like babies...our morning was started off with one of the best breakfasts ever and the ladies just made you smile. In closing we've stayed at many hotels and even spent 11 days at a BWPremier....this little gem of a hotel by far best it hands down!!!!! It has set the standard...we're trying to arrange our future travels so we can come again....we WILL be back!!

We love the Best Western Plus Abbey Inn. It really is a PLUS hotel. The pool is wonderful, the buffet is top notch, the rooms are first-class and the staff treats you like really important people. We are retired. We like to come to come to the Tuacahn shows. We we do, the Best Western Plus is the place to stay.

We chose this hotel because of the reviews we read re: their hot breakfast buffet. The buffet far exceeded our expectations. There was a wide variety of food, including an omelet station and waffle station. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed 1 night at the Best Western Abbey in St. George, Utah. The hotel is pet friendly and our room was complete with dog bed, dog food and water bowl, and even little milk bone biscuits. There was a potty spot for the dogs not far from the room and it was very convenient and safe to go to and from it at all hours. The hotel assured us that the puppy was welcome and any 'messes' that might happen with the puppy would be tolerated. When we arrived, it was evident that the pet-friendly room had been well cleaned... no odor and all was fresh. I was very pleased and impressed with this pet-friendly hotel and would stay again with my dog.

This hotel surprised me constantly with its awesomeness! Friendly and helpful staff, great location, clean rooms, lovely pool. There was Fresh water in the lobby, the hot breakfast was fresh and had lots of variety, there were even postcards in the lobby so I didn't have to drive to go find them. Comfortable beds and well-sized rooms. Can't say enough for it!

We arrived in St. George at the end of a 600+ mile drive. We were tired, hungry, and road weary. The young man who greeted us was so filled with enthusiasm and good humor the mere experience of checking in refreshed our souls and bodies. The hotel itself maintained the same level of outstanding service delivered with a smile. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast delicious and hassle-free (important in the age of Covid), and the location just off I-15 and near a number of restaurants perfect. Wouldn't stay in any other hotel in St. George!

After an awful experience at another hotel I found this hotel. It was like night and day experience. Staff was extremely nice and rooms were impeccably clean. The breakfast buffet was also quite impressive. This is definitely my go to hotel when passing through St George.

v stayed here many, many times and never had such a bad experience. The air conditioner blowing HOT Air and the handicapped shower heads facing out of show and not wall to wall so the entire bathroom floods. Luckily I never fell on the soaking wet floor.

Beds were comfortable. Noise from Air conditioner was minimal. Rooms were clean. Front desk was friendly. Pool was nice, but its outdoors which was too hot during the daytime when we visited. Value was good for the price. Breakfast was free and good, alot of choices were available. Close to Black Bear Diner which was delicious. A nice stay.

They had a room for 6 of us! Probably the beat breakfast we've had in several hundred different hotels over the years! They had 4 staff stocking and cleaning the breakfast and had an omelette station, we're staying here next time in St George!

Hot tub jets didn't work. 1 pool was out of order. There was not an exhaust fan in the bedroom. Everything else (Breakfast, jetted tub in room, comfortable bed) was AMAZING! We travel 50-60 nights/year and my kids said this is their favorite hotel ever.

Splurge on the Honeymoon suite. It was better than the suitevin Vegas I had just left from thevnight before! plus, the staff is so so nice. and the decor is even gorgeous! I was literally here because of a medical emergency. And booked a room elsewhere. but because I was feeling terrible, I decided to spend a little more and be somewhere NICE while I waited for a relative to come and pick myself and my car up (I can't currently safely drive). Call the same day was able to get aroom. Fast and friendly check in and out . Convenient restaurants and gas stations . Enjoy the pool breakfast is until 10 and you can request a late check out very convenient when you are traveling with pets or kids .

This Hotel is amazing! We loved the King suite with the jacuzzi tub. It was clean and so comfortable! We also were So very impressed with their hot breakfast! It was very good and so many great options to choose from! By far the breakfast was the best complimentary breakfast I have had at any hotel. We will be staying there again without a doubt!

This was a great place to rest on our road trip. The hotel is huge! Staff was polite and the entire place was very clean (trash can near front door was overflowing but that was the only issue we saw). Breakfast was great (not just the normal to-go stuff). check in and out was easy and quick. We'll be back.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were clean, fairly priced and the entire family enjoyed the pool area. The pool area also has a bbq area which we utilized and the front desk has cooking utensils to make it easy. Highly recommend staying here.

I have to travel for work quarterly and always choose to stay at Best Western on Bluff. The staff is friendly, check in is quick and efficient and the hotel rooms always to my liking. Best Western offers an incredible breakfast - worth the stay!!

I am a flight attendant so I travel ALOT this is bar none the BEST hotel breakfast I have had since COVID and the friendliest staff all around!! Special shout out to Zack and the nice (blonde) breakfast attendant.

Nice hotel. Too many kids for us though. Noisy at times and out of control in the breakfast area. Room was nice. Dated bathroom. Did not get to use the pool due to number of kids there. Easy access off the highway.

During the first week of our 2 week trip around the SW, we reserved our hotels ahead of time. It was a mixture of hotel chains and we soon realized how much we liked the Best Western Plus hotels. We became members and the second half of our trip was exclusively Best Western hotels.

Great staff. Very nice and clean rooms. Very good for a night on the road. They use to have the best free breakfast anywhere I have been but due to Covid they have reduced the quantity and quality. I expect when Covid is passed they will return to the former outstanding format.

Great staff, clean facility and rooms, diverse breakfast options! Best Western Abbey Inn is centrally located in St. George and easy to get to. It is a great option if traveling amongst the national parks such as Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon Northern Rim.

My husband and I just stayed with BW Plus Abbey Inn for three days. Excellent staff, very beautiful and clean spaces, and hot breakfast served in mornings. Our room was in South Tower, very lovely accommodation and comfortable.

Sewer odor in room (3rd floor). Talked to maintenance man about it and they said it been a problem there for a while and they don't know what causes it and don't know what to do about it. There were great and helped change my room fast. But, was hoping for the trouble they'd go above and beyond like get me a room upgrade but they didn't and the hotel was plenty vacant. A #1 ranked hotel in the city would do something like that but didn't. Breakfast - Server had to serve you which I understand cause of covid but food amount was really small and you only got 1 item to choose from. I would like to try both hot items but only get 1. Would be nice to have some kind of potatoes for breakfast. Was there 2 days and didn't have any option for that. Food quality was fine but come on get some real bacon and not this paper thin weird bacon? Even if you had to limit it it'd be nice to have a thicker bacon. Hotel itself was adequate. The remodel is more of a makeup job than it is a newer modern hotel. You can still tell it's an older hotel. Everyone was friendly which is good. BUT, this hotel is not the #1 hotel in St. George even if I didn't have that odor problem.

Very friendly staff and and beautiful hotel. The room was in great working order and well designed. The breakfast was full and hot with the servants filling our plates to the max, even during Covid. The hotel was very well lit at night with plenty of parking.

From making reservation then changing it, the arrival and the stay, it was a friendly experience, with attention to all things needed, the place was clean had everything we needed. I travel with kids and the pool was open and clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff. My request for additional items was handed quickly. Love that I can just text everything to them, from checking in to checking out and requests. No contact except when desk clerk came out to our car with the key. Great value too, as the last hotel we stayed at in St George was almost double the price. The only thing missing for me was a balcony or patio.

We would totally stay here again! We LOVED the room, LOVED the breakfast, LOVED the location! LOVED!! It's close to snow canyon, movie theaters, ice cream and restaurants. We enjoyed our entire stay. There were tons of things to do within a few minutes of the hotel! It was awesome!

I had to check in at 11:30 last minute because another hotel lost my reservation. Best Western Abbey went above and beyond so kate at night to help me. We woke up to the most delicious breakfast with a staff member making omelets! It was delicious and my kids looked forward to it! We will be back!

Had a great experience staying here. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and all requests were taken care of quickly. We also stayed at the same time as a bunch of high school teams, and found the hotel still quiet and accommodating. Due to covid they don't do daily housekeeping, which was the only negative but I understand the risk and appreciate the safety measures being taken.

I did not expect to need a hotel while staying in St. George for my visit. I booked this hotel at 12:30 and was able to check in early at 12:48, which decreased the stress with my last minute changes. The hotel room had a medium mini fridge/microwave/small cabinet/ sink and counter top so I didn't have to go out to eat. The beds were honestly the most comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on. The pool is an amazing space to hang out at especially the hot tub. The location was great, close to a nice quiet Walmart and close to the snow canyon hikes I came to St. George to do. Breakfast was more than I expected with Covid-19 and much nicer than the fancy Big Sky Montana resort I stayed at a few months ago . I also was able to request a late check out and had no problems for the 3 days I was here!

Wonderful staff. Exceptionally clean rooms. Amazing breakfast. We stayed at another nearby hotel that had high ratings on trip advisor but it had so many issues that we had to leave. (Toilets didn't work, flimsy mattresses, holes in linens, boxed breakfast). That hotel didn't hold a candle to Abbey Inn, just the breakfast alone will impress you: eggs and bacon, oatmeal, crepes, and made to order omelettes! Price was a little higher but worth every penny!!

We had a wonderful 3 day trip in the St George area. This was enhanced by the great hotel accommodations. The hotel staff went out of their way to assist us and everything was clean. We will recommend to family and friends.

We have stayed at various properties on our travels through St. George. This is our first stay at the Abbey. We were extremely pleased with our stay. We were warmly welcomed and our accommodations were surpassed our exceptions. This is a very good place to spend the night . . . highly recommended.

I was very pleasantly surprised with my stay at this hotel. Not only was the size of the room very spacious, the beds were so comfortable! I loved that the sheets were not the scratchy, loud ones that you usually get in a moderate hotel. We were able to comfortably control the temperature of the room, the heating/cooling unit was not overly loud or disturbing. We only stayed one night and did not eat the complimentary breakfast offered so I can't speak for that. However, the hotel grounds and main guest areas were clean. Very conveniently located near, freeway, restaurants and shopping. Didn't notice any street noise but maybe because we slept so good in the comfy beds!

Place was clean, rooms were comfortable, grest location to freeways and resturaunts. If I ever have to visit St George on a buisness trip, I will definitaly stay at the Abbey Inn. No muss, no fuss the whole time!

I reserved my room with the agreement of $89/night. Stay 2 nights get 3rd night free. Almost too good to be true. Confirmed this promotion with the sales manager. She confirmed the promotion and that my stay was booked. I arrived and she said that she could no longer honor the promotion. Never emailed or called me..... let me drive 380 miles before she told me.

When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the person behind the counter. He was friendly and check in was quick and easy. They even gave us water bottles and a box of truffles since we are rewards members. The breakfast was great, the hotel was clean. It was a great stay.

I was confident my reservation I booked five months in advance would still be there when I needed it. The cleanliness of the room was great, the service I received was outstanding and the value of the room was decent. I really liked the fact that the Abbey has a water softener in place.
