About two blocks to the beach. Cross A1A street and the beach access is two small blocks away. Hop on and Off Trolley stops right in front of this motel so you don't have to deal with parking or driving downtown. Room was clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was usual hotel breakfast.

My husband & I were attending a concert at the AMP. We live close but decided to make it an overnight stay. We were very pleased with our stay at the BW in St Augustine Beach. I will definitely keep this hotel in mind for next time. We told our friends and they decide to stay too!

Hotel was just a 1 min walk to Beach , just cross the street and walk thru the dunes.Great restaurants just down the street. Friendly area and friendly staff. Clean pool, the breakfast was great with several options loved the fresh yogurt!

The lady working at the front desk was so sweet and made our stay great when we checked in and during breakfast. The rooms were very clean. Great location close to the beach. Will definitely stay here again!

The staff were fantastic. The rooms were clean. Right across the street from the beach. Bed was a little hard, and parking is sometimes difficult but I would certainly stay here every time I am in the area.

We stayed in the two room suite. It was massive! The pictures on the website do not do this suite justice. The living room area has a full couch, loveseat, and single chair along with a table with four chairs. There was lots of extra room for the kids to play. The bedrooms were large. The bathroom was big. It only had a shower however the shower was quite roomy with two shower heads. The kitchen area was small and comes stocked with the essentials. This suite has a floor all to itself on top of the main office. It has a partial view of the ocean from the living room area. Upon check-in at 3, the room was not quite ready. We had an event to attend and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our party in order to get ready. The front desk staff were absolutely amazing. The beach is a quick walk across the street. It took us about two minutes to have our toes in the sand. There are several great restaurants within walking distance.

Right across from the beach with great access! Breakfast area is small but provided what was needed. Standard rooms are a bit tight, but they are updated. Staff were attentive to needs anytime we brought up a need.

Great service from the time we checked in to checking out. The pool and hot tub was open. Short walk to the beach. Clean rooms. Great breakfast along with a grab and go bag if you wanted one. The staff was friendly, courteous and professional. All around great service and staff.

The room looks clean but the floors are filthy.I realize that it's hard to keep floors clean at the beach but your feet shouldn't be black, especially trying to get into white sheets and comforter. Mop ! Also, the mattresses should be removed and the bed platform cleaned throughly. Disappointed the hotel wasn't on the beach .

We would definitely come back. Great location across the street from public access to the beach. Parking is "tight" if you drive a full size truck. Very substantial breakfast and the coffee was always fresh. Just a short drive to Publix or the mainland. We're from Florida so we travel during the off season. Not sure how crowded St Augustine is during the height of tourist season?

This location was the best location to water; not too far from downtown shopping; and good restaurants. Virgina (Office Manager) was extremely knowledgeable and especially, accommodating for my 90 year old father who can't do stairs with first floor room . Loved the pool and hot tub on the premises...great place to relax after long day of walking and trolley rides.

The room was dirty, floors were terrible!!! I contacted the front desk in person two times and nothing was done, showed them the towel I used to try and clean the floors and also the bottom of my feet. I also have pictures to back up what I have reported to the front desk!!!

Wonderful staff, good breakfasts, and close to the beach. The room was clean and any concerns were quickly taken care of. Transport to St Augustine was located right out front on the beach bus whose employees were friendly and informative.

I had very high hopes for this hotel based on other's reviews, but unfortunately we were left highly disappointed. I spent a lot of time researching hotels in the Saint Augustine Beach area and this hotel seemed to have some of the best reviews, being rated #4 out of 11 hotels in the Saint Augustine Beach area, even having a Traveler's Choice 2022 award, but I am still very puzzled on how this hotel has received such high ratings. I had called a few hours prior to our arrival and was told by the front desk that there was a room ready for us, so we could check in at anytime, we headed straight to the hotel and the staff was very friendly. We were given a room on the bottom floor - per our request since we were traveling with young children. The first room we were given had such a terrible odor (very musty), we asked if we could get a different room, which I have never done before, and the staff was very attentive and accommodating to our request. We were given a new room immediately, on the second floor. After getting to our settled into our second room, there was not a terrible odor, but the room was very dirty. We ended up taking the bathroom wash cloths and wiping down the floors, twice during our two night stay, due to the dirtiness of the hotel. You can tell the hotel has undergone some recent "updates" to the rooms, however, I would describe the quality of the updates as extremely poor. They have basically painted over the imperfections. The room itself was very small. The hotel door stuck and was difficult to open, due to the door frame being painted, you could also see that the outside door did not close all the way and there was a small gap around the door frame. The bathroom door also stuck to the frame and was very difficult to close. The hotel was undergoing construction during the time of our stay, which was not communicated to us prior to our arrival, there was debris everywhere and the construction itself was very noisy, the construction crew had parts of the stairs blocked off as we were trying to get to our rooms and areas of the parking lot were blocked off at times, too. The construction crews were tearing away parts of the building and throwing large pieces from the top floor onto the pavement below during the daytime hours. I just wish this would have been communicated to us when we booked our hotel room or prior to our arrival. The pool was very dirty, so we opted not to swim in it and the hot tub was closed. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of options to chose from. The hotel is a very short walk to the beach, just across the road. I am not normally one to complain, but I do not want anyone else to make the same mistake as we did, for the price, I would stay at the Marriott down the road.

The staff at this hotel are polite and helpful. They go beyond the standard to accommodate your needs. The location is perfect, easy access to beach, restaurants, concert venue, parks without traffic or crowd. The hotel room is very quiet and sufficiently dark at night. The refrigerator was super cold, so our beverages were perfect on a hot Florida day. The pool was enjoyable. Wish the jacuzzi were available. The room was comfortable, slept fine. Breakfast was hot and good. The sausage and yogurt parfait were different and better than other places. I was completely satisfied and would go back plus I recommend this hotel and Best Western in general to everyone.

Breakfast was an amazing amenity. I was impressed at the presentation and the amount of options available. It wasn't just a run of the mill breakfast and the variety throughout the week was a pleasant surprise. The management staff was extremely accommodating with my request due to, LOUD, on-sight maintenance. Overall it was a great stay and I this is my go-to location when I visit the area. It's affordable and has easy access to great "tasty" resturants and the beach!

The hotel was located in a good place near the beach and was easily accessed. The staff worked with us to get us into a room when we arrived earlier than expected. The room was nice and the breakfast was fantastic the next morning.

Nice stay. The rooms were clean and smelled good, beds were comfortable beautiful bathrooms. The only negatives that I could offer is that the Internet is very spotty and the hot tub is closed throughout the week

Be warned that there isn't an elevator for hotel guests to use, nor employees to help. We had to haul our bags up stairwells. The hot tub was out of order the whole week and the pool water was very cold (colder than the ocean). There also wasn't any maid service available if you want your room serviced during your stay. You need to get additional towels, toilet paper, etc from the front desk. On the plus side the beach is easily accessed by walking across the street and a couple blocks distance, and there are some really good restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed during last weekend of Spring Break. The price was high considering the quality of stay. Pool was not clean. Hot tub didn't work. Breakfast area was small. But the room was clean and staff were friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is great. Just a 5 minute walk and your in the beach. The beach was gorgeous. The room was clean and comfortable. The area was quite and we felt safe. Only a few small issues kept me from rating it a 5/5. They were not anything that would keep us from staying again. I guess for $200.00 to $250.00 a night I expect perfection. I do understand you are paying more for the location of this property. If your looking for a nice, comfortable, clean hotel within a few minute walk to the beach this is it. Lots of restaurants and things to do in walking distance too.

We stayed for a few days over spring break. Room smelled fresh when we arrived. We requested a house keeping service and they did a nice job cleaning up our room. Hotel is right across the street from the beach. Only a quick two minute walk. Hotel staff was very pleasant.

A very nice place for my sister and I to "get-away" to. Just a couple of days of relaxation. I must say, we could have picked a better time, due to spring break, but still managed to enjoy ourselves in spite of the crowds. Clean facility, small but nice. Nice staff. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.

This is a perfect spot in a quiet, beautiful, historic, beach area. Looks like a hacienda from A1A - also iconic. There are great restaurants nearby as well as Door Dash for room delivery. I would visit this place again.

This hotel is right across the street to the beach. Breakfast was included which was nice. Plenty of varieties. Microwave and fridge in the rooms. Beds were comfy and relaxing. Place was clean and had lots of charm. Great place to stay. Will definitely stay here again!! Friendly staff as well.

This hotel has seen its better days. They have tried to update it, but I believe she's old and tired. The updates in the rooms must have been done by one of their neighbors. Air conditioner is falling off the wall, but it does work. Plumbing in bathroom could not have been done by a professional; faucet in tub is hanging from open pipe, sink drain pop-up does not work, shower handle is not secure and temperature is anyone's guess, light switch has been rigged and plastered to the wall. All of this being said, we did not have concerns about cleanliness. Room was clean, but no professional EVER worked on the remodeling. Sad because this is in a beautiful place near the beach. Short stay is best.

This is our second time staying a week at the Best Western St. Augustine Beach Inn. The staff is outstanding! Each morning they were busy cleaning, always looking to greet with a friendly smile. The hot breakfast menu rotates throughout the week, which was a nice surprise. We brought our labrador both stays. We have only encountered well behaved dogs with other travelers. The distance to the beach is a quick walk. You can hear the waves from your room. Many great places to eat within walking distance. Virginia, the manger, deserves a review all for her. Virginia is amazing! She takes time to talk, help with anything you may need or questions to be answered. She remembered us from our first stay. She makes you feel like old friends. We cannot rave about her enough! She is a tremendous asset to this hotel.

We made reservations online at one price and were surprised with a $300 dollar charge for Friday. Although a platinum member they did not care about our concern . We found out at checkout ...received no confirmation for this price until we returned home. Nothing plush to warrant $300 and the floor ruined good socks.This was for a king ...no freezer part of fridge...and supposedly gave us a senior discount.Breakfast was good with variety.

Rooms were clean breakfast was ok room for improvement on breakfast during the week but spot on for the weekend short walk to public beach within 5 minutes nice sandy beaches will definitely stay here again

The room showed some signs of age but was very clean, smelled great and everything worked well. The bed was very comfortable, the air conditioner/heater was not overly loud, refrigerator cooled well and the WiFi was actually pretty fast, considering the hotel was pretty full both nights. The shower was delightful. Several restaurants are in walking distance. Ate at Beachside Cafe and Sunset Grill, but quite good. Access to the beach is just across the street.

It's not often that I take the time to write a review. I want to thank the Management and Staff at the Best Western in St Augustine Florida for always making my stay special. I feel like I am visiting family when I stay at the hotel. My first visit to the Best Western in St Augustine which was also my first time staying at a Best Western was exceptional and has remained that way every since then. I am usually greeted by Virginia at the front desk when checking in. Virginia makes everyone feel like family. I also want to brag on the management and staff at the Best Western. Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. I highly recommend the Best Western.

This is a motel not hotel. Very dated lobby and rooms. Hot breakfast but very small area with people on top of each other without masks coughing and sneezing. The front desk workers were nice and helpful. Small pool without any extras (i.e. slide, sprayer). Good location to beach and restaurants.

Fantastic location,walkable to the beach in minutes . Also a good choice of restaurants in easy walking distance. Very helpful staff , Virginia who checked us provided good information about the area. Ample free on site parking. The rooms have been updated and everything was clean. The cost per night was responsible as well . The breakfast was fair ,but enough to start the day. A very short fifteen minute ride to historic St Augustine . As long as you realize this is not a luxury resort,but a simple hotel at a perfect location you should be very satisfied.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and up to date. The overall facility was very clean. The only thing that would have made it any better would be if the controls to change the settings for the outside hot tub were accessible. Even though it was plenty warm, it would nice it be able to adjust the jets. However...it was still enjoyable.

Very Clean. Friendly staff. Definitely going back again and will stay here next time. Convenient to all the local restaurants, bars, sight seeing and just near the water. Price was about $200 total. I don't know why I have to put in 200 characters so this is filler.

Room was as expected for the price. Unfortunately there was no hot breakfast option for the duration of our stay. Only a 'grab and go' option of an apple, packaged danish, and a nutri grain bar... This was a big let down as it would have affected the decision making process for choosing a hotel. Hopefully this is remedied now.

My wife and I along with our 4 yr old grandson set out for a 2 week trip through Florida, down the Atlantic side to the Keys and back up the Gulf side with no reservations anywhere. St. Augustine was our first stop and couldnt have pulled into a better place. Checkin was easy, front desk staff was excellent and the room was nice, clean and updated. Location was great for driving into the Historic part of St. Augustine and dozens of choices to dine was close by. Beds were really comfortable as well. To the staff of this Hampton Inn...Great Job!! We look forward to returning on our next trip to St. Augustine.

If you really want to stay on the beach this is a great choice. You are also near the attractions to go explore but still be at the beach. The rooms are clean as well plus spacious. We will stay here again!!!

I've read some of the other reviews about this hotel. Granted, not everyone is happy with ALL accommodations but really, its not the Hyatt or the Plaza Hotel. The pettiness of complaints are comical. This hotel is a more or less a "no frills" place to relax, shower and get on with your vacation. The hotel staff is very pleasant and most accommodating. Although, during Covid, their breakfast was not the hot breakfast they advertise...which is NO BIG DEAL...there are many places on Beach A1A to get breakfast which are great. There are many restaurants within walking distance from the BW, as well. The only caveat is that most/all places (restaurants, bars, etc.) close at 9pm or 10pm so stock up on your favorite libation. The room was comfortable, the shower was welcoming (after a day in the sun and sand). We spent all/most of our time at the beach but the pool was a nice respite from the blazing beach sun. The hotel has enough to make any stay pleasant. We would definitely go back when visiting Beach A1A.

We stayed in three hotels during this vacation and this hotel was our least favorite. Check-in was easy. The front desk staff are nice. This hotel is in a great location if the beach is your focus. The rooms are marginal. Our room was not very clean. There was sand and hair in the bathroom from prior occupants. The air conditioner is hard to regulate,; making the room warm or ice cold most of the time. Due to COVID, the hotel does not have daily maid service. The rooms have no towel racks or hooks, so daily towel exchange is necessary. Bring a beach location, I would have expected this hotel to have hooks in the shower or some way to dry swimsuits- they do not.

Excitement quickly turned into frustration and disappointment. My wife and I planned a 4 day stay at the hotel, but left after 1 night! Booked a standard king room months in advance but when we checked in all that was left was an ADA king room. The bathroom did not have a tub and was basically a big walk-in shower with no where to put your shower items. There was also a mobility seat in the shower which was weird. So I asked for a different room but there were no more king rooms. The man working the front desk was very rude and I guess did not want to be bothered. My wife asked to speak with the manager and he helped and go figure the other guy changed his attitude very quickly! So we were moved to a room with 2 double beds which was not good but ok. Well this room was worse. The room had a musty smell. The refrigerator was not working and eventually find out their refrigerators are really coolers so only keep items cool but forget buying something and trying to get it cold! Took a shower after the long day but the water pressure was a joke! There was hardly any pressure so trying to rinse soap off was a task! Decided that we would stay the night and see about another room in the morning. But after spending the night it was not worth it to stay at this BW and will never return to this BW!

I arrived on Monday July 12th 2021 and the pool was out of order. I left today Thursday July 15th and the pool was still out of order. I just wanted to warn people to please call first and make sure the pool is fixed BEFORE you arrive. The staff was very nice and friendly. They had good air conditioning. Very close to the beach.

This is our second trip to this motel, the second one didn't go quite as smoothly as the first. Booking was way more of a hassle than it should have been. The lady we called at the front desk was very unhelpful and told us we couldn't make a reservation over the phone. But upon arriving we talked to the same lady who said of course we can make a reservation over the phone...... interesting. The room itself was fine, nothing special, and the guy at the front desk was extremely helpful.

The location was perfect. It is an easy walk to the beach. It is also located close to grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants. The rooms, lobby, and parking lot was clean. The employees were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and plan on continuing to use this hotel for our future trips.

We had a very nice stay at the Best Western St. Augustine Beach Inn. Hannah was so nice and helpful, and we really appreciated how welcome she made us feel. The location is great, less than 5 minutes from the room to the ocean! They were pet-friendly as well, which was great since we had our Yorkshire Terrier with us. There were plenty of great restaurants nearby, and plenty of parking spaces. The breakfast was a grab-and-go bag due to COVID, but it was fine for us. The room was basic, but clean and had a very large TV. My parents stayed at another hotel down the road, and our room was by far the nicer of the two. We would stay there again!

My wife and I stay here a lot. It's a nice getaway and it's only a block away from the beach. This place is a great compromise as it's affordable yet very clean and nice looking. The rooms are comfortable and there's lots of eats within walking distance. Also it's about 300 yards from beach access. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pool is clean and usually quiet.

More or less a fair price for a tourist area. Liked the updated rooms but they have problems. Our room was full of sand all over the floor and when wiped with a wet rag it was black with dirt as in never mopped. Bathroom fan was OK at first but then it went berserk and sounded like it came apart. The security latch on door was hanging on by 2 loose screws which can be easily screwed tight but was not. Short walk across busy road to great beach. A lot of guests had dogs in their rooms and a lot of them barked and we are grateful for our noise machine. A sticker on the door announcing room is clean does not make it so.

This hotel is very cute and close to the beach. Pool is very small. Close to restaurants and the pier. Breakfast bags were pretty lame. Have no complaints with the room it was well appointed and clean. Thought it was a little pricey for what it was.

I first thought to give this motel 3 stars—an average rating. The room seemed clean on the surface and had a “sanitized” sticker on the door. But with a longer look, I definitely would call it below average for a BW. The floors are “tile” and dirty—especially the bathroom floor which I would rate at filthy. There was no folding luggage rack in the room, and none to be had upon request. Had to leave my suitcase on the dirty floor in the closet because there was no other place to put it. The pool looked OK, but the jacuzzi was murky—-I wouldn't get in. I'm a travel agent who has stayed in many places in the U.S. and around the world. You can do much better in St Augustine Beach.

We have stayed at many Best Westerns over the years . Mostly always a good experience. This motel was the worst experience ever. A two story structure with no elevator and a double flight of stairs to drag your luggage up and down. We were assigned a second floor without being told that there is no elevator. The place is worn down, our door was not closing and locking without having to slam it so hard that the entire building would shake. The floor is so dirty that the soles of our feet would get black after 2 minutes of walking on it. The small fridge was warm when we got there and had no control to turn the temperature down. The light in the bathroom worked only on one side of the mirror. The pool was so murky that one would not want to get in it and the pool equipment was continuously making the noise of an oncoming train. The breakfast was suppose to be grab and coffee, but the decaf coffee was lukewarm and the color of a tea. And we paid an average of $180 per night to stay in this dump. Stay away from this place if you have a choice.

Stay was excellent and the woman checking us in went above and beyond to help us stay dry getting our luggage in. Would stay here again for sure if we find ourselves in St Augustine. No issues from this hotel.

ZERO STARS - This hotel has roaches!!! I left with my teenage niece in the middle of the night after waking up to several roaches scurrying in the bathroom. They DO NOT take Covid precautions. Air conditioner vent was dusty, bed platform filthy, shower curtain stained. Stay elsewhere!! Management advised they are aware of the roaches yet there is not pest control visible. Disgusting!!

We apologize for any issues you experienced during your stay. Compensation for 2 of the 3 nights you stayed was offered. Our staff and our contacted pest control team inspected the room and found no insects dead, or alive. However we took the room out of inventory and performed an intensive treatment. Management was not aware of insects in the room previous to this. We also take several extra steps due to the Covid 19 pandemic for guest safety. This Best Western is a short walk from the beach. It is close to stores, restaurants, and ice cream shop. The hotel was clean and it was no problem getting a floor level room. The pool water was cool but there was a small hot spa. The hotel had a Grab and Go Breakfast that included a muffin, a breakfast bar and a bottle of water with an apple. There was coffee, orange, and apple juice available. It was a pleasant stay.

I wanted to stay right on the ocean, but wasn't willing to pay the price. BW wasn't cheap, but it was cheaper. It was just a hop skip and a jump to get to the ocean. Downtown st Augustine was minutes away. BW had a great room, cute pool, and I love Anastasia island.

We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway and enjoyed it. The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Loved that we were within walking distance to restaurants and across from the beach. The pool and hot tub are very nice. They staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a bagged to go meal consisting of an apple, water, muffin and granola bar. Wish they had better options but I understand the challenge with the current pandemic.

Stayed her based on Tripadvisor reviews. Older property, rooms have outside entrances. Was able to park right in front of our room. Large room, helpful staff. Outside pool and hot tub were open. Stayed here for two nights. Restaurants nearby. Breakfast is limited with grab and go bag. Would stay here again.

Charming older hotel but well maintained; clean. Great location. Quiet. The check in clerk accommodated our first floor needs. Easy walking distance to beach and restaurants. Access to Old Town Trolley was right out front of the hotel.

Great access to the beach just across the Beach Blvd., easy walk 2-3 min. Friendly staff, nice hotel, comfortable beds, restaurants within walking distance. Easy drive to downtown St. Augustine if you want to shop or find more dinning experiences. Beautiful City!

Positives first-the property was very attractive, directly across from the beach with access between a beach house and hotel. In less than a minute from exiting our room we were at the water's edge. Water pressure and temp were wonderful and SCALDING hot! You can always cool your water down, you know? Room was very clean and looked to have been remodeled, i.e. no carpet, laminate flooring. Very nice. Staff we encountered were nice enough and helpful. Bed linens were nice, not scratchy and pilled. Negatives :( That 'breakfast'...a brown bag with bottled water, a manky muffin, nutrigrain bar and an apple so dry and mealy it almost had the texture of a baked potato. A $5 voucher to Waffle House would have been MUCH preferred. The mattress and pillows were excruciating. The pillows wadded up into little concrete pavers. The mattress exacerbated already tender backs and hips from our dismal rental car. The door with outside access to the parking lot felt a bit unsafe. Not used to that. Lots of noise through the door but not necessarily through the walls.

This room was updated...loved the color scheme, lighting, big TV and the bathroom was very nice. Room was VERY clean, linens good. Grounds are very clean and we didn't use pool because it was January but that too was clean. Would book here again! Also good places to eat and beach across the street.

Our vacation may not have gone as planned, but the service we received from this hotel was a five star experience. The location is ideal, to beach, restaurants, stores, and downtown. Property is in a safe location, and a nice walking area day or night. Walking path for pets. Ample parking. Internet is good. One block from a beautiful sun rise, and sunset. I highly recommend working with Virginia when calling to confirm your pet reservation, and Jody will provide the rest once you arrive.

We stayed in a single king room. The room was clean and everything worked. The room was not big enough for the king bed and the furniture in my opinion. It was hard to pass each other in the aisles. The online photography will not portray how cramped the room is. The location is great for beach access. The available restaurant choices close early in the off season. I thought the value for price was off due to Covid restrictions limiting the services of the hotel. If you desire a hot breakfast or any choice for your morning meal, you will have to drive to McDonalds.

We wanted to be very close to the beach but also wanted a location close to the historical district. This was perfect. Walking distance to a few casual but very good restaurants and bars. Would stay there again if returning to St.Augustine. Great value for the money.

Easy check-in. Room was spotless. Spotless! The hotel cleaning staff is definitely first rate. Had nice bathroom amenities. Breakfast is bagged with a few items due to COVID restrictions, but if that is not your style, the area has plenty of places to walk to for eating and enjoying yourself by the beach which is only a short walk across the street.

Excellent stay for a reasonable price, walking distance to beach and great restaurants, very clean room and bathroom, modern and renovated, small but nice pool area. The grab and go breakfast was a good start into the day. But above all the staff was super friendly. Virginia at check-in was outstanding - friendly, efficient and very helpful. We felt very safe in regards to Covid-19, everything looked very clean, sanitized and with exterior corridors social distancing is easy. We totally enjoyed our stay!

We got a room here because of price and location. Both worked out very good. Across from the beach it is a very short walk to beach access. Had a first floor room near the pool too. Room was clean and everything worked fine. A lot of families here and in the pool but we are fine with that. Breakfast pretty weak because of Covid 19. You get a water, apple and muffin in a brown bag. Also no coffee in lobby at this time. We bought our home machine, that was a good idea. Would stay here again, alot of food all around the area and a Publix down the road. We used both.

Nice and clean and had a great night sleep!! right across the street from the beach...A1A Beach is a very easy road to cross and restaurants and shops are a close walk. Check in was super easy and they followed rules of social distancing. We will be back for sure as we love St. Augustine Beach and come often.

Outside Decor was nice, the room was remodled and perfect. The pool and staff were very welcoming for this I would recommend this hotel to everyone. The town of St Augustine is a few miles away. Nice beach with very little crowd. I do not care about the questions below about mask, I am fed up with it and will not answer any question snitching out any hotels on face mask.

Our stay was ok until the Best Western tried to overcharged me $1,054 for staying an extra night. They waited until a week after our stay to add this fraudulent My little kids are pretty traumatized from our COVID reality and I was trying to give them a little bit of happiness from the upside-down world we are now living in. This has ruined my vacation and caused me so much stress on top of everything else going on. I do NOT recommend this hotel.

We apologize that it wasn't clear at the time of extension and hope that you have received the credit which was issued back to you immediately upon discovery.

Me and my friends were at the pool, tipsy, and virgina the 3 to 11 clerk came out told us to pack it up and proceeded to walk around the pool, and mysteriously my albuterol inhaler came up missing. We went to the front desk and asked her if she had picked it up, she said no. So I called my husband and he was willing to drive 2 hrs to bring me another one. Then the clerk calls our room and says check the trash can that she saw us throw away stuff...... wow there it was down in the trash underneath pizza boxes and other nasty trash. We were the last ones there, we did not have pizza, if we threw anything away it would have been on top of the pizza boxes. I would like management to roll back the cameras and see who they got working for them. Asthma is not a joke, and for your clerk to steal from guest is very bad business. Do better. I'll be waiting for a response. Thank you. Date we were there was July 24th, checked out on july 25th. Room 217

We have reviewed the surveillance footage at your request and while we can see evidence of several items being thrown into the garbage by multiple members of your party-we do not see our team member anywhere near the garbage can itself at any point during a 2 hour viewing window. What we do see is that she made multiple attempts to help you locate an undetermined object staying well past the end of her shift to allow you access to the pool deck which by hotel policy was to be locked at 10pm. It appears that a member of your party does begin searching for an object around the patio loungers you were occupying well before our GSA ever entered the pool area thus concluding the item was missing 20 minutes prior to the pool deck being closed for the evening. While we can understand your frustration at missing an important medical item- we do not appreciate the accusation made upon our staff member when it seems in fact to be an error made by someone within your party at some point during your stay. We trust that you enjoyed your weekend getaway as is evident from the video footage we reviewed.

Completely out of hotels control, however, during Covid -19 we felt very uncomfortable in the pool area as you could barely walk around.due to small space. We knew it was across the street from the beach when we booked so that was of no surprise. Jody at the front desk was amazing. It was just the wrong time for us to visit this property ...too small

My family and I visited St Augustine and Best Western was priced comparable to most hotels. However we were shocked at the noise levels well over the closing time of the pool that was just outside our window. Well after 11:30pm the pool was occupied. We awoke to a paper bag breakfast which during Covid we were understood why but the breakfast was a joke! I got water, apple and muffin. When you charge for a room and say free breakfast and not even a bagel or hot breakfast sandwich... it was sad to have to go to Starbucks after paying for a priced room that could have made more effort. Our other family members were staying just across the way and they go a hot meal. Not worth our money and happy we were super tired from seeing your beautiful town but will not be trying a BW anytime soon.

We do apologize for the lack of hot breakfast but due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have a strict set of guidelines to adhere to. We have adjusted room rates to reflect the lack of breakfast and apologize for the inconvenience. We will address the pool noise with our team as we do lock the pool gates at 10pm so as not to disturb other guests' and regret this was not the case during your stay. We do hope you will provide us with another opportunity to make it up to you however understand that your experience was not what you were hoping it to be.

My family and I booked 2 rooms at this hotel. Kudos to all the staff, especially Jody at the front desk. We were pleased with the size of the pool and the short walk across A1A (in a well-marked crosswalk) to the beach. The hotel provided towels for the beach and pool. The hotel can't serve a hot breakfast during the coronavirus, but they provided a grab-n-go bagged breakfast of water, muffin, fruit, and a Nutrigrain bar. Those items plus milk, cereal, and sandwich fixings from the nearby Publix let us splurge on several nice dinners out. Hotel is very close to historical district and is a stop for the one of the tourist trains (altho the timing didn't work for us this trip). About 20 minutes north of Marineland and the great kayaking company they partner with.

The staff at the hotel were nice. After one hour of being in our room, I found ants all over my side of the bed and behind the night table. It seems behind the night table has not been clean for a while. When I spoke to the person at the front desk, he said he was not surprise as this been an issue. He offered to spray or give us another room. We changed room which turned out okay. This inconvenience robbed us over 1.5 hours out of our vacation. I felt we should have been compensated with a free night for our inconvenience. The location of the hotel was perfect, right across the street from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops, It was a nice trip for my husband and I. If you don't like grab and go breakfast, plan to eat out. It s the same grab and go items each morning,

Thank you for your review. We do apologize for the pest issue you experienced and have since had our local pest control company come out to address it. Unfortunately due to the amount of rain we have had recently the pests can find a way into the guest rooms and while we do our best to control them we can understand how they would impact your stay. We hope that you will provide us with another opportunity to WOW you however understand that your recent experience was not what you were hoping for.

We stayed in two rooms for three nights. The outside of the hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The rooms are very small but look to have been renovated within the past few years. The bathroom has a sliding door (which I do not like) and was constantly getting stuck and required alot of surface contact. All rooms open to the outside so that made this feel more like a motel. Breakfast is currently "grab and go" which is a brown bag with fruit, a muffin, a nutrigrain and a water. I thought that was very nice of them to supply that since a traditional breakfast isn't feasible due to Covid. They are also only offering housekeeping upon request so you have to put your towels and trash out and go to the desk any time you need replenishment. I found that every single front desk person was welcoming and friendly and did not seem irritated by my many requests for towels. The hotel is one block from the beach - - a crosswalk is right in front so there was no problem crossing A1A. The pool was usually crowded but it was well kept. Overall this was a good value for proximity to the beach and a 5 mile drive from historic St. Augustine. All staff encountered were very friendly and polite.

This is a very clean and well located hotel in St. Augustine Beach. We were there at the end of Covid shut down so breakfast was not offered. Rooms are large and standard furnished. Parking is a little crowded but they have parking along side street. Pool is small but does have a hot tub. There is electric charging for electric cars.

This hotel was nice and very close to the beach. You just had to cross the road. The beach was very nice also. Was located within walking distance to many restaurants. The staff was very friendly and we were very happy and felt very safe with all the cleaning and safety precautions used for the virus. Would stay there again if we go back to St Augustine.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Ocean view room at other hotels were booked so this was a great 2nd location at only 1/3 the price. The beach was across the street and down a short hill. Internet was strong. Nice Shower with plenty of hot water. Very comfortable bed curious

Due to a change in travel plans caused by CV19 we needed to find a hotel pronto. Were able to book and check in on the same day and the reception and Best Western Rewards staff were all SO helpful and flexible. The hotel is 5 mins walk to the beach and there are lots of good places to eat nearby and a Publix supermarket about 5 mins drive away. The room was very comfy and there is free parking and a pool that was well used and sunny. The hotel is an agent for the trolley tour bus in St.Augustine and a 3 day pass gets you a free shuttle from the hotel to St.Augustine which saves all the hassle of the traffic and parking and means you can partake of a beverage or two! The reception desk also helped with printing our changed flight boarding docs. Recommended

In between restaurants and bars, trolley stop out front, nice pool area, spacious bathrooms. Up front rooms are noisy with guests walking by. Pool was cold (not heated). Jets dont work very good in hot tub.

The rooms have been beautifully renovated. Great location. We took advantage of the 3 day Old Town Trolley ticket to go into the old city to explore and enjoy the days. Having the trolley to get around the old city and back and forth to the Best Western was a real bonus. No worries about parking (or drinking and driving)

I use BW frequently in North America and occasionally Europe. BW St.Augustine Beach is one of the best I have used. The staff were smart and knowledgeable, the rooms clean and well apponited, the pool great and it is only a short walk to the broad sandy beach. Breakfast area is small.

Room was extremely clean! Breakfast was great with a large selection to meet everyone's taste. We will definately stay here again. Best Western never disappoints! We can always depend on Best Western when staying far from home!

We were impressed with the courteous service, spacious and clean bathroom and a SUPER comfortable bed. The location was ideal as it is near the beach and a ten minute ride into historical St Augustine. Great choice!

We'd stayed there several springtimes ago and had enjoyed it, so we booked it for an anniversary weekend and are very glad we did. Pleasant, quiet room, very helpful staff: stress-free check-in and checking out, too.

My cousin got married down the road at the Embassy Suites. My husband and I stayed at the much less expensive Best Western Beach Inn. The staff was AWESOME. Jamila checked us in and was super friendly. Virginia is a gem! I'm still nursing and not only were they great about storing my milk in the freezer, Virginia packed it up with ice for our return trip. Max maintains the common/breakfast area and he was always ready with a smile and a warm greeting. The room was quiet, clean and when our hot water went out, they fixed it ASAP. We would stay here again for sure!

Hotel is well maintained and I loved the outside and inside decor. Rooms are simply decorated without carpet which I think is a great bonus. Breakfast was good, usual eggs, sausage, waffles. Breakfast room got very busy about 8 a.m. so going earlier or later a better option. The location is fabulous. Beach is one block across the street and there is also an ice cream shop and restaurants within easy walking distance. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

We needed a room for the night as we were passing thru the area. Check in was great and they gave us a few must see attractions and restaurant options. Breakfast was included which was nice for families.

We stayed here October 2018 but I forgot to review. I will stay here from now on. The room is clean and so aesthetically pleasing to me and calming. It's also such a short distance from the beach! All you have to do is cross the main road and walk down the side road thing (that's more like a driveway for the houses there), up the small sand dune, across the wooden bridge and you're on the beach! We did have what I assume would be locals tell us to “get the F off the road!” when we were walking back to the hotel when we were on the side road, but other than that no issues!

First, let me say, we are a big fan of Best Western. The only reason I gave this hotel 3 stars was the fact that TWICE, in a two night stay, we had hotel staff literally "barge into our room" unannounced! First was the maintenance man, shortly after check-in to to replace an ironing board we did not request (no knock, no announcement) - just opened the door and in he came - walked right past us like nothing was wrong!! We reported it to Jody at the front desk. The next day...while changing clothes,again, no knock, no announcement, in comes "housekeeping"! Fortunately my husband reached the door before she completely entered! Again, reported this to front desk... Both times management apologized profusely and stated staff was instructed to to "knock and announce" before entering. This is obviously being ignored. While this hotel is very nice, comfortable, clean, convenient - this type of behavior from the staff is unacceptable and rather unnerving. Would I stay here again? - probably so. However, I would be certain to keep the privacy lock in place at all times to avoid this intrusion. Management needs to have a SERIOUS discussion with staff about this situation before they start losing business!

Great room except...........construction started at 8:00 at night. under our room. Sheetrock was being installed in hotel laundry and they couldn't do it during the day because then needed to do laundry so they did it at night. Lots of hammering and screw-gun noise. Then came the sanding dust and we had trouble breathing. We reported this at checkout but front desk person wasn't really interested and did absolutely nothing. At reservation or check-in we were not told about night construction. The promised gluten free breakfast bagels and bread were a fantasy. Tile in bathroom and shower floor was very slippery. Dangerous when wet. No grab-bar in shower or tub.

We did attempt to get you away from the dust and debris by upgrading you to our King Suite however regret that it was more of any inconvenience to you being above the noise. We have reached out to our food providers- as promised- in regards to a more expansive gluten free menu. Currently our offerings include cheerios, fresh fruit and fruit cocktail as well as redskin potatoes and cheese omelettes- which was discussed. We can understand how this would be disappointing for someone with dietary restrictions and for that truly apologize. Thank you for voicing your concerns to the slippery shower floor- we do provide non-slip mats in all of our guest rooms to ensure everyone's safety. We appreciate your loyalty as a Best Western Rewards member and regret that we fell short of your expectations. Enjoy your travels wherever they may take you.

One of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast (free) better than at most hotels. Excellent location, only one block away from easy access to beautiful white beaches. Dog friendly. Adequate parking. Offers Tesla and EV charging station. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My husband and I stayed in a fancier hotel the night before, we decided to extend our stay in St. Augustine another day but needed a place to stay as most hotels were booked. Exceeded our expectations! It was clean and looked like it had been renovated so very modern! The mattress was more comfortable than the hotel we stayed in the night before, the price was great too! Me and my wonderful bride honeymooned here 18 years ago and return almost every October for our anniversary. The place just keep getting better. Everyone (especially the service staff) always friendly. Jody at the front desk (who has been there for 5 years himself) always has a great recommendations from restaurants to Ghost tours.

Check-in was great. She was so helpful, professional, and friendly. Sold us tickets to the trolley in town, and they provide a shuttle to the trolley. She also recommended a restaurant in walking distance. We ended up eating there all 3 nights. The room was clean. The bed & pillows were excellent, and it was extremely quiet. Very good breakfast! Great hotel to stay while in St Augustine. You cross the street and you have the beach and short car distance to downtown. Rooms remodeled and they have nice staff. Complimentary breakfast in the morning. Just if you can't take the stairs ask for 1st floor as there is no elevator.

We live an hour from our doctors so we stay here often when we have Doctors appointments in St. Augustine. Nice pool and hot tub area, It is quiet, the beach is just across the street and the staff has always been great. Restaurants nearby.

We enjoyed this property a few years ago and now even more to due to the updating. Front desk agents are great. Breakfast and its area is not large but entirely adequate. Gentleman from the Ukraine was super helpful. Parking on the A1A side can be tight for large vehicles but that is resolved on the backside. Signal for our cell phone provider was not very strong in this area.

Did the usual research, see this hotel has four stars. Figured it would be okay. Not so much, for the same money go to the Courtyard by Marriott next door..... sleeping on the beach would be more comfortable

We choose this hotel based on its location. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that it had been recently updated and the rooms were nice. The fact that it was A1A, across the street from the beach, was the icing on the cake!

Stayed for 1 night with my husband and 2 boys in their 20's we had adjoining rooms which was ideal. Rooms were a good size and had very large TV's! The staff were very friendly and happy to help. Parking was free and the beautiful beach is just across the road. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Room rate included breakfast and hot drinks were available all day. Would recommend

Spending our anniversaries and birthdays in St. Augustine beach is must for us since it's our favorite place to unwind. Since our wedding anniversary fell very closed to Labor day (September 3), you expect a lot of people staying in the beach to end the summer break. it was kind of hard to book on hotels with fur baby with us., as well. Taking into consideration the high amount of $30 pet fee per day and $75 one time pet fee seems to be too much. So we had a last minute changed of plan and decided to not bring our fido. So it's our first time book in BW hotel and should I say that BW hotel room is ok (not big not small) for a couple. Me and my husband are so much impressed with their breakfast meals. They serve hot and cold meal breakfast and they changed it daily. They have juices, fruits and they have an array of cereals, yogurt, muffins, different breads, waffles plus their hot meals like biscuit and gravy, turkey sausage, pork sausage, eggs, tots and of course their hot chocolate and coffee. Everything is good and we even told the hotel staff that we appreciated their effort to serve good meals to start our day. Though, coffee is so bland which we didn't care for much, there were others to consider instead. Maybe, they could work on their coffee next time, Other than, they really are good in serving breakfast. Being a constant hotel guests (I know how to differentiate and I equate hotel reservations based on the breakfast they served as its part of the hotel package. The cons - the pillows were very uncomfortable. Maybe they could check on it and probably guests could have a choice of hard, soft, medium pillows. Sleep deprivation is not good especially if you're a hotel guests. Comfortable sleeping is a necessary factor in weighing hotel guests because we spent 1/3 of our lives in sleeping. Refrigerator also seems not releasing any cold at all. We bought some stuff to eat and drinks and placed it there but didn't help at all. Everything is nice wonderful and hopefully this info might help the management to better their service. We will still come back because the staff were all great and pleasant. There is always room for improvement.

We stayed at this Inn for a couple night just to get away for a couple days. The hotel is. Ice, the room was nice and the breakfast was exceptional. It is about a three minute walk across A1A to the beach access. Not really walkable to restaurants as the closest is about 7 blocks. At least not for me, but here seen a lot of good restaurants in the area. The only negative was the bed wasn't comfortable. I think it was the pillows. Need to have a choice in soft and firm pillows. The stag was very friendly and helpful!! We will stay here again.

Was very surprised by this property. The staff was amazing. Room was renovated. Attention to detail from staff was a lovely touch. Located across the street from the beach and in a quiet area. I would definitely come back. While the property is older, they overcome that with great service and a much better than average breakfast.

What an absolutely pleasant surprise! My husband, 12 year old daughter and I stayed at this hotel for one night on our trek down 95 to Orlando. This hotel is spotless and so convenient to the beach and restaurants. The beach is literally across the street! They also have a very nice breakfast in the morning including eggs and sausage along with waffles and other typical items you would find at a complementary breakfast in a hotel. Our only issue was that we didn't stay longer!

This was the best stay my family and I have had in a very long time. The room was clean, location awesome, staff super accomadating! We stayed for 3 nights 2 adults, five year old and 10 mo old. The walk to the beach was easy for the five year old. Every morning although the breakfast area was packed the breakfast attendant was on the move refilling constantly! People would hold up empty containers and he would promptly refill them with a smile. There were no seats left in breakfast area so front desk lady offered for us to sit in lobby on couch, she even brought us a high chair and said "dont worry,do what you need to do" when I apologized about the mess my baby was making. There were staff members constantly cleaning the grounds or working on something. The pool was cleaned every morning we were there. We will be back!

Nice small hotel in a great location! Hotel staff was very friendly, hotel room very clean and tastefully decorated. The only complaint and just a suggestion really is for some ventilation in the bathroom. Once you close the door it gets warm in there as there is not an a/c vent in there. Other than that it was a great stay and we appreciated the hot breakfast not just danish and coffee like other places. Would highly recommend.

Our family of 6 (including a toddler) stayed 4 nights here this week. We stayed in the two bedroom suite on the third floor. The room was so nice and comfortable! Upgraded amenities, a full kitchen, dining room table, and plenty of room for the 6 of us. Everything was clean and everyone was very helpful and nice. The breakfast area is very small, but they make the best use out of the space. There was hot items to choose from each day along with waffle makers, cereals, and bread options. Everything tasted good. The only complaint was each morning (we ate all 4 mornings) they ran out of something. The first day all of the hot good ran out. The other days it was the yogurt, juice, or coffee. This wouldn't be too big of a deal, but they were slow to replace it (if they did at all). We never went hungry, but for the size of the hotel, they need to increase the quantities of food that is initially put out. Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay. Just a minor issue. We will definitely be back.

Great price, updated hotel, nice amenities, short walk to the beach across the street. I recommend this hotel to my friends and would definitely stay here again if in the area. It is also a short distance to the downtown historic area. The only downside were the thin blankets on the bed.

My sister and I booked a room here for a sisters beach trip. LOCATION —the location was excellent. A walk across the street and you're at the beach. Perfect. BREAKFAST—just okay. Average continental breakfast at a small breakfast area. Wasn't bad but wasn't super. Just okay. No complaints. STAFF—very kind and friendly ROOM—now here is where I'm disappointed. We stayed 4 days. Our bedding was never changed. The room smelled of a cleaning agent that masked a dirty odor. I couldn't figure out what it would be until ......I layed a damp towel on the floor to step on and the towel got black. The floors were so filfthy and gritty that I had to go buy socks so my bare feet never touched the floor. The dirty floor was frustrating. Then the door wouldn't open and close properly. You had to jerk it open and closed to get it to work. The crack on the door was so evident that I was surprised we didn't have critters. CABLE—the cable went out in our tv 3 out of the 4 days we stayed. We had to have the front desk come help fix the cable box. It was super frustrating and awkward. Overall, this hotel has potential and could be a gem with proper training and a little more upkeep.

Hotel is clean, rooms and breakfast are fine. Would stay here again. Parking is a little tight but plenty of FREE spaces. We stayed out here on the beach (it's not "beachfront" but walkable) even though we were visiting the town and did not find the location an issue. In town hotels "generally" do not have either breakfast or free parking. We found this hotel a much better option. There are plenty of dining options out here on the beach, as well as in town.

Breakfast was outstanding! The front desk was very helpful! Quick check in/out. Room was a little small for us but we knew that going in. Very clean! Great location to the Beach, very short walk across the street and great location to Salt Life Food Shack and Sunset Grill. Also within walking distance to Ice Cream and shopping! 5 minute driver to downtown St. Augustine!

We stayed 2 nights at this Best Western. It is across the street from the beach. Very clean older renovated property. The pool was spotless and great lounge chairs. Just what we needed for our girls getaway! Lots of great restaurants close and ice cream shop right across the street. Staff was five star. Hotel was quiet. Free breakfast petfect!

Saint Augustine bch. is a frequent destination for me and my family. And from now on the Best Western on A1A will be our Go-To Hotel. The room was modern, clean and spacious , service was great. The breakfast was far better than expected! And just a short walk to the beach. The pool area was beautiful and even had a hot tub. my only disapointment was the pool and hot tub was closed during my stay foir tree mantainace. other than that the hotel gets a 10

Loved this Best Western right across the road from the beach. Very convenient for our beach trip. Our room was nice, well kept, decorated nicely and the bathroom was one of the nicest I've ever seen at a Best Western. Bed was comfy. Can't speak for the pillows as I carry my own. We did not eat breakfast but a full breakfast was included with our stay at no extra cost and I did peek at the breakfast items offered it looked to me to be a wide variety. Internet reception was fast. We had everything we needed. I made a small request when booking the hotel and that request was acknowledged and done. Staff was nice and courteous. Will stay again there.

I saw all the good reviews prior to booking my trip and was very excited to visit this hotel, but my oh my the floors were disgusting. One of the beds we had had a yellow stain on the fitted sheet. The cleaning staff had an issue with the cleaning solution they used, it was peeling the laminate wood floors. Shame because the decor was pretty, but our stay was cut short since if we weren't in a bed we had to wear flip flops. It was that bad. As we were checking out, the housekeeping staff were cleaning the rooms and when we walked by 2 of the 3 people in the room were sitting on the beds checking phones with one person emptying the garbage, no mopping or sweeping, and no sheets changed. The manager on duty when we checked in, explained about the floors and even came up to mop a new room for us, but the same issue occurred. The floors were peeling because the cleaning solution had wax or something in it so any dirt on the floor stuck. It was awful, and I'm wondering about some of these reviews. I hope they got new cleaning staff and no one else had these issues. They tried to offer us something else at checkout but we were too grossed outing just started the trip home early.

Room was a little snug but older, exterior entry hotel so they made good use of their space to make it w/c accessible. The room was clean, bathroom adequate and room clean. As with most hotels, the bed was entirely too soft for a paraplegic to sleep in so didn't sleep well. Also the assigned parking spot next to exterior entrance to room does not have an access aisle so you will have to take two somewhere if the spot a few spaces down is in use. No luggage cart so be prepared to carry luggage in although they did offer to help,

there may be some fine points others dont like, but this place was great by me. lots of info on doing something about reversing the damage mankind has done to the oceans. i suspect more improvements coming as its a fairly recent transition

We booked there 2 room suites and it was big, comfortable and awesome! The bedrooms were large, the living area was huge and we had our own kitchen. The suite actually slept 10 people but there was only 3 of us. Will stay at this hotel again.

This Best Western was very clean. I was somewhat hesitant with doors opening to the outside rather than to a hallway, but my fears were put to rest. Breakfast was good with selections for us grandparents as well as our grandsons. It was a short drive to the beach, the fort, and restaurants.

My family and I stayed in this hotel for 2 days charged us for 4 days and extras not ordered or had. I brought the issue to Capital one bank and the bank rep never sent us the email to send it the proof. This bank also it really bad.(closing almost every location in NY-I am wondered why"bad bad costumer service"). Until now I am waiting for this hotel and capital one to result the issue. I would never recommended anyone to stay in this hotel. The room smells and the costumer service is really bad. Use you money and go somewhere nicer and better. Don't waste your money in here.

A modern, updated room with a pretty beach decor. Very comfortable beds. Across the street from the beach. Typical motel type breakfast. Wobbly shelf issue in the bathroom, but otherwise a good location and clean room.

The hotel was clean staff friendly .. breakfast ( included ) was very nice. They have pool but didn't use or go to it WIFI. good . You can but a trolley pass here ( good for 3 days) bus picks you up right outside hotel and brings you right into center of town .. then you move to the trolley and it drives all over city .. can get out at any stop.. and get back on one they pass ever 20 min ( parking in city is 10-15 dollars so if you have big group might be better to drive into city )

We had a great week stay in May for six of my family members. I had booked three rooms and we were given a free upgrade as a Best Western member to their whirlpool suite. This worked out perfectly as it was my parents 50th wedding anniversary, so they were really excited to have the suite! It was the perfect setting for their anniversary weekend :) (and their first time in Florida!) Staff: the front desk staff were all awesome. They were great to talk to and extremely friendly. We had loud neighbors one night and I called the front desk. I'm not sure what they said to the neighbors, but in less than two minutes, the neighbors had quieted down. Great customer service. Breakfast: the breakfast is great. Better selections than most hotels, and based on a talk with the staff, it sounds like they are in the process of expanding the breakfast items. Several hot items (eggs/omelette/potatoes, sausage, etc), cereal, waffle maker, cold items. My parents really likes the coffee and my boyfriend liked the sausage the best. Rooms: all the rooms were nice, but the whirlpool suite especially was perfect. It had a full kitchen with dining table, a HUGE living room that contained 3 sofas that could be used as pull-outs, a separate bedroom, bathroom that had a whirlpool suite and shower, and patio. Note that the kitchen didn't have much for kitchen supplies but I believe you can ask for those at the front desk (we didn't need them). It was perfect to have us all gather in one spot in the evenings. Our other rooms were also very clean and nice. Comfortable beds and pillows. We liked having fridges in all the rooms to store drinks in. Wi-fi worked well. Pool/beach: the pool area is pretty nice and have several places to sit with some umbrellas. There is a shower by the pool. The beach was a short walk away and a great beach. Crossing A1A proved to be tricky at times. They do have pedestrian crossings nearby where they have flags available to hold while crossing, but we usually just tried to cross near the hotel. Beach bus: there is a beach bus stop right outside the hotel. You can take the bus into St Augustine and then transfer onto the trolley. When we were there, the last pickup for the beach bus from St Augustine was at 4:30. Tip: we had debated buying trolley tickets online before our stay. The package from our hotel turned out to be cheaper, so I'm glad we waited. Parking: I had read a lot of reviews on the parking being limited, but we had no issues our entire week there. The front desk staff told us they had expanded parking, so maybe that helps. It for sound like the hotel might be remodeling this upcoming summer (2019), so it might be worth confirming that if your stay is at that time. The planned updates sound great - it sounds like they will have an elevator and fitness center. We can't wait to go back and see the changes sometime in the future! The hotel is close to several restaurants, coffee places, and a grocery store (Publix). Overall, we were very happy with our stay!

Great location, near the beach. Decent breakfast. Nothing special but will have what you expect. Eggs, breads, sausage and potatoes. Cereal and waffle maker as well as yogurt dispenser with 6 toppings. Pool was small but the deco in rooms was very nicely updated. Would return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Beach Inn thanks to the very friendly, helpful staff and the great location of this motel. It is within walking distance to a number of great restaurants and to get to the ocean beach you just have to walk across the street to the beach access road and right on down to the ocean. It takes only a couple of minutes to arrive at the beautiful beach and the motel also has a nice pool too. The motel staff provides extra towels for guests to take with them down to the beach which is a nice extra for those going down to swim and play in the ocean. The rooms are well maintained and very clean as is the whole property. They have mini frigs and microwaves, wi-fi and quality large screen TVs in the rooms. The full hot breakfast is delicious with all sorts of choices to please most everyone. The rates at the Best Western Beach Inn are very reasonable especially considering that a full hot breakfast is included in the room rate. We will definitely stay at this fantastic motel again and again as we take vacation trips to St. Augustine. THANK YOU for your great hospitality during our stay.

My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing couple of days in St. Augustine beach at the best western hotel for a moderate price which is located a block from the beach and provides a clean and wonderful environment. Staff is excellent and breakfast is very good. We are planning another visit of 4 days in August.

We stayed here based on the good rate for a week. It's an older-style motel with outdoor entrances to each room. The room was clean and well kept. It was definitely quiet. Free breakfast. Nice enough pool. No carpet, but that's o.k. with the all the sand. Beach access right across the street. Had we stayed on the beach side, our rate would have been double or more! Would stay here again.

Stayed here over Mother's Day weekend. It was fine for a two night stay, but I probably wouldn't stay much longer. Rooms adequate, beds too soft for me. Room had microwave & fridge. A/C good. TV was fine. Shower sometimes low pressure and not hot enough. Breakfast average. Food never seems to be hot in those hot warmers. Selections of food items sufficient. Sitting area cramped. They did sell discounted Trolley tickets and easy pickup outside front door. Decent Pool. Beach access across the road. Very friendly, helpful staff.

The hotel was excellent. We did experience a shortage of hot water the second morning, we called the front desk and reported it. In less than an hour they had if fixed and contacted us as to what the problem was. Great service. Room was very clean and recently remolded. The hotel was across the street 1 Block from the ocean easy walk. We would absolutely stay there again.

We booked the suite because my mother-in-law came with us. It was so spacious, roomy and comfortable. The living and dining area was huge! The suite had enough room to sleep 10. The only drawback was 1 bathroom! The bed were comfortable and the staff was extremely pleasant! I always try and stay at a BestWestern!

My sister and I usually meet at different destinations each Spring, but we are now hooked on the Best Western St. Augustine Beach Inn. Great location just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, nice little pool and hot tub, good facilities and refurbished rooms with 'no carpets' which is so much cleaner and better in the Florida heat and humidity. No widows that open which is a drag but good setup. But the genuine care and positive teamwork of the folks here makes the place.

Our family of five decided the top floor suite was worth the extra room for the price and it was a great decision. Two large bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a huge living/dining room. Very clean and attractive inside and out, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and efficient. We chose this hotel as an upgrade after reading unnerving reviews of less expensive places right on the beach. It was still only a 3 minute walk directly across the street.

Great experience - will stay here again....the location - knowledge of staff - safe, secure and clean room/building - after traveling for three days through very bad weather )rain (high winds - heavy rain - two tornado's) the last thing you want is a problem at the front desk when you arrive at the hotel. No surprises with Best Western....thank you....Pete.

Me & my husband enjoyed a relaxing time at the Best Western on St. Augustine Beach last night. Check in was fast and easy. Our room was cozy & quiet. We crossed A1A Beach Blvd. and had a nice walk on the beach. For dinner, we went to the Salt Life Restaurant. The atmosphere was awesome, especially under a full moon. My coffee was tasty in the morning with my bagel &. cream cheese. We'll be back soon for another Escape from Reality time.

Super clean. Hard surface floors - no carpet. This was nice for the sand. Very friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub. Free parking. Free, tasty hot breakfast. Very pleased with the price, especially considering that it was right across the street from the beach...excellent location. Good restaurants and bars within a short walking distance. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great location, across from beach access in walking distance. Very modern decor, internet in all areas, very clean all throughout hotel. Pool and hot tub were well maintained. Best breakfast for hotel, great coffee, great detail for cleanliness and food handling. I generally never feel hotels are clean enough and this was very clean and you could smell bleach and wasnt just half way cleaned like alot of other hotels. Beds are firm which isnt my preference but was still comfortable. Best landscaping for the area. Like the fishing pier in walking distance and the fountain area with playground nearby as well.

Spent Spring Break here with the family and found the place to be very affordable. It's a very nice and clean hotel that's less than a minute walk from the beach. The rooms were a little smaller than what we have come to expect at a Best Western but they were clean and looked freshly painted. The staff was polite and helpful and the breakfast was good too. There r a few nice restaurants and eateries within walking distance.

This is the perfect location for St Augustine Beach. Room was a tad small but truly sufficient. The bathroom was large and well laid out. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Plenty of water pressure and hot water. The housekeeping staff was the best we have experienced on an extended stay. Maintenance man - Craig - was very efficient with his job as well as being our "travel guide" with routes for motorcycling. If you have a trailer there is parking on the side road. The beach is just across the street. Great restaurants within walking distance. All staff were friendly and efficient in their positions and were eager to have our stay be the best possible.

Our trip here started with a free upgrade to suite, so we went in on a high. The suite was really nice, comfy bed, private balcony, big living room which we really never used at all, and jet tub (which I didn't use either as the jets shot water all over the bathroom, pilot error I'm sure) which was big and comfy. Tons of hot water. Small note- the plug was really hard to get working. Husband says the bands were stripped or something manly like that. But he got it to work eventually. The staff was super nice and very helpful and courteous, which I just love. We enjoyed the hot tub, although the pool was too cold to use yet. The coffee was good, and the breakfast surprisingly excellent. Try to get there early- the prep area is tiny and there's not much seating, so it's all the more to their credit that they put on such a spread. Great selection, including fresh hot waffles! They even gave us towels to take to the beach. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Rooms are nicely decorated. Very good breakfast. Good restaurants within walking distance. Beach access directly across the street. Towels furnished by motel. We we there on Thursday and Friday and the price difference on the two nights was significant. Will stay away from Friday and Saturday next time.

We stayed in room 217, 2 nights, from 4th March 2019 to 6th March. Ordinarily, we don't care much for the 'outside' room Hotels, preferring the security of the 'inside' type. However, the other Hotels were a bit pricey, so we went 'budget'. The room was recently refurbished and was a bit on the 'boutique' Hotel side of things but it was bright, cheerful and clean. The bathroom was very clean and neat, with lots of towelling. Altogether, a very high standard for the price we paid. The breakfast area was a little small; adequate for the numbers staying while we were there, but I wonder how it will cope at peak time in the summer. The food itself was very good, curated by a very polite and attentive gentleman. Overall, it was good value for the money we paid, and very convenient for both beach and downtown St Augustine (about 10 minutes).

I have been coming to St Augustine since I was a child, and I always stay at the Best Western Bayfront, right in the historic area. We decided to stay at this location this time (on the way home to NC and usually stop in St Augustine overnight to break up our trip). I actually love this location now though. It is of course less expensive than staying right in the historic area, but you are still incredibly close to that area. Room is pretty large (and modern as well. Love that there is no carpet, yuck (in this location or the Bayfront location). Super close to restaurants, etc. Cute ice cream shop right across the road that we liked as well. Staff has been very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

This hotel was very clean and quiet, and very convenient for us. Unfortunately the hot water went out the night we stayed there, but other than that, I would still choose this hotel for our next stay in St. Augustine, FL. We stayed in a room on the south side of the hotel in February, and it was warm and sunny. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Eat-in and take-out restaurants are close by. I would definitely stay there again. The Breakfast was great, especially the grits!

We had originally intended to spend the night in Daytona Beach. We didn't know that the Daytona 500 was this weekend, so we were very surprised at the rates until we found out about the race. We decided to stay in St. Augustine Beach. We absolutely loved the town at the beach. The people were so friendly, and the beach was absolutely gorgeous and so close to the hotel. The community surrounding the hotel is attractive. The hotel itself seems to be well maintained. My only complaint about the hotel was the bed, which for me was not very comfortable. We appreciated that they put us into the family suite on the top (third) floor, since it was very roomy. This is a hotel without an elevator, so if you are physically unable to walk up stairs, ask for the first floor. I don't have a pet, but I was advised that they have four rooms where pets can stay with their owners.

Good location and good breakfast. When using hot water at any time other than peak shower time it takes up to 30 minutes of letting the water run to get hot water. They explained that it's they way their water system works. You want to shower when coming back from the beach? wait 30 minutes! Want to wash your hands after using the toilet? Use cold water it's quicker. Our room had an adjoining room. We could hear the man next door snoring and I can repeat every word they said.

Very nice, clean hotel. The size of the TV was a Bonus. The room was a good size. Shower worked GR8. Didn't hear any road noise while I was trying to sleep. Quite a few near by restaurants. Absolut no complaints.

BW rooms were spacious and clean. There was no seperate closet, just a space in bathroom. The door had no seal, could see daylight all around, but the bed was comfy and breakfast was very good and plentiful. Overall a nice place to stay.

Visited Saint Augustine almost 20 years ago and wanted to return to catch the acclaimed Holiday Lights display and to visit the World Golf Hall of Fame. Now that we are both retired and living in Sarasota, Fl we decided that the time was right. Luckily we chose to book the Best Western Saint Augustine Beach Inn. Newly renovated our two queen sized bed room was beautifully appointed, extremely clean, comfortable, and so reasonably priced we were DELIGHTED! The complementary full breakfast especially for my partner who goes to bed dreaming about the morning meal was icing on the cake! We were a half block from the beach and despite the chilly weather we enjoyed walking the beach in search of shells. Only a 15 minute drive to downtown Saint Augustine to do our tourist things we enjoyed staying close to the Atlantic shore. The staff was friendly and assistive. The Best Western Saint Augustine Beach Inn is on our stay again list.

My husband and I found some free time and took a week visiting the East Coast of Florida. Our last stay before home was this Best Western and we were very pleased with the service and with the accommodations. It was the first time we had traveled with our small dog and finding motels that are truly "pet friendly" was more difficult, in some cases more expensive, than we knew. The people at this motel were kind and helpful and the room was perfect for us and our small companion pet! She seemed to sense it as well as she was relaxed and happy even when we were out to dinner and she was alone. We have no complaints at all about the accommodations here. The breakfast offerings were excellent and the attendant, Ihor, was a delightful and friendly man. When he ran low on grits the first morning we were there he promised that he would have plenty for us the next morning and he did as well as made sure we had anything else we needed. A nice selection is provided and the area kept neat and clean. We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here and will certainly book again when we are in the area.

Excellent bedding, and great location. Minutes away from St Augustine historic center by car. Even closer to St Augustine beach on foot! There is a nice ice cream shop down the road a bit and definitely delicious. My only complaint would be that the breakfast area was very very tight and cramped, with not many tables or chairs to seat yourself.

Two days after getting home 01/03/19 we looked up their price for the same accommodations and found out we paid three times more than their normal price. With no refunds for cancellation. Totally disgraceful practice. Plus they had two electric car recharging parking spots that were occupied by gas powered vehicles. We ended up haveing to park street side , along a side road. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Saint Augustine is a wonderful city,we will visit again but never at this location. Price gauging is real , be careful.

Thank you for staying with us. The hotel's rates ( like all hotels/lodging) will increase during higher times of demand. The time period you stayed with us is one of the busiest of the year. After 12/31 the prices drop dramatically based on lesser demand (January is our slowest month) This is practiced by almost all seasonal businesses, especially hotels. Rates are always subject to change based on demand and availability.

My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE hotel to stay in when I'm visiting St. Augustine! Just minutes away from the Historic District, a 2 minute walk to the beach and walking distance to a handful of good restaurants and shops. Rooms are updated and spacious with a microwave, mini fridge and beautiful bathroom. They offer free continental breakfast which is always delicious! This is where I always stay when I'm in the area. I highly recommend everyone staying at this Best Western.

This hotel was an excellent location to discover downtown St Augustine. Lots to see and participate in that didn't require a vehicle. Uber was easily attainable in the event you wanted to travel further. The rooms were clean and I also enjoyed relaxing by the pool.

I am so glad we found this gem. The management are great, the rooms are large with frig, coffee maker. Chair, ottoman, desk, mirror above it and large dresser. Plenty of lights, big window. The bath has an extra large vanity. All newly done in very nice tiles. It is a short walk to beach and has a pool and hot tub. And the price is great. This motel exceeded our expectations.

First time at a Best Western. Room was small but nice. Love the bathroom products. Had to pay ($15.00 a night) for parking due to it's St Augustine. You can walk to almost every thing from here. Carriage rides right across the street.

The location of this hotel is great-right across the street from the beach, and the staff was also wonderful during our stay. However, while the rooms seem updated and modern, the cleanliness here is lacking. I am not sure the last time the rooms were truly deep-cleaned. I almost wonder if they literally just change the sheets and trash before a new customer comes in, and that's it. Again, great location and staff, but it just didn't feel clean like it should. The clock was broken on both the alarm clock and the microwave, so glad we had phones to see the time. Breakfast was OK-don't expect much. There are some good places in walking distance to get bfast as well. Not sure I would stay again, but it wasn't horrible.

Loved the staff who were very helpful with attraction tickets and restaurant recommendations. Clean, quiet, and right on the trolley route. Great place to stay.

Best Western has improved over the years, and this Motel is a good example. (If I drive and park in front of my room, I consider it a Motel) This BW was nicely remodeled and clean. Our king bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. The pool area was surrounded by tall palm trees; but the pool water was too cold and the hot-tub was too hot. (My only complaint on this trip). We did a lot of driving and have a few tips: There is very little to do south of the Motel. We found all our great activities north of the Motel. St. Augustine was fantastic and we had dinner each night at 4 wonderful locations: Caps was our favorite, The A1A Restaurant was Great, we enjoyed the Salt Life Bar and loved the views at Beaches' Bar.

Just returned from 3 night stay. Great value! Good size modern room. Room was very clean. Very comfortable beds. No carpet in room which was one of the reasons I chose this hotel . You don't get that musty carpet smell that is sometimes unavoidable in humid climates and I just get easily grossed out by carpets in hotels. AC works GREAT!! Nice small pool and hot tub . Always free coffee in lobby as well as coffee maker and refrig in room. Small complimentary breakfast buffet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Felt very safe. Close to beach less than 5 minute walk. You do have to cross hwy A1A but it wasn't that bad or dangerous. Just waited until no cars (although October may be slower time of year, especially during the week. We left Saturday morning and hotel lot was much fuller- it was 1/2 empty mid week) Very close to downtown( no more that 15 minutes-maybe a little less) Debated staying closer to town but I was glad I made the right choice to stay near the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Checked in mid afternoon on a Saturday. The staff was very friendly and full of helpful information. He told us all about the bus schedule to Downtown Savannah and a few restaurants that he enjoyed. The room was very clean and the beds were soft and pillows were great. The bathroom has a pocket door you can close for more privacy. The shower was hot and we had plenty of clean towels. The refrigerator and microwave worked great. The breakfast was really good, biscuits, sausage, eggs, gravy, cereal, waffles, and plenty more. The pool was clean and the hot tub was very nice after a long day walking around. The Beach is less then a 5 minute walk. straight across the street and down the walkway straight to it. I will definitely be back here!!!

Clean rrom (vinyl plank flooring -- to help with the sand). Great location right across the street from the beach. Nice little pool and a nice BW breakfast -- well stocked. Afternoon check in staff extremely pleasant.

Staff was very friendly, room was very clean, very close to the beach. Within walking distance to restaurants. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Thanks to Grace in the front office for her help and tips on where to eat and visit while we were in the downtown area. No safe in room but it is offered at the front desk. Parking is tight, especially for bigger vehicles and very limited

Nice hotel - very modern room. Typically Best Western with parking lot infront of the rooms. Room had a cozy bed and brilliant WiFi. Hotels offers an outdoor pool, which we did not use. Save is available on room. Beach is 3min foodwalk away. Would book again

My husband and I decided at the last minute to take an overnight trip to St. Augustine from our home in Jacksonville. We found that this hotel had everything we were looking for and the price was right! Loved the location of the room! It was on the first floor right next to the pool! We checked in and immediately hit the pool! The water was perfect! After a wonderful dinner at The Llama Restaurant we came back and went for a moonlit swim followed by a walk on the beach which was just acoss the road. The room was decorated with a very beachy theme which we loved! It was the perfect end of week get away!

We stayed a single night on an extended summer road trip with our 2 boys 14 and 11. I wish we had more time here as it was a very nice budget hotel only a block away from St. Augustine beach and 10 minute drive to Historic St. Augustine. The pool was nice and the boys enjoyed it thoroughly. Will stay again when I return to St. Augustine.

My husband and adult son visited St. Augustine for vacation. I had reserved two rooms and requested we be near each other. At the day we were suppose to arrive, I realized I neglected to also request first floor. I called the hotel while we were driving and asked if any first floor rooms were available and they said yes they had one only but upon check-in two were available and we were very happy that we were right next to each other. Great service!

First off Best Western offers a great military/veteran discount and my family and I appreciated that very much! We stayed in room 106 and it appeared to be newly remodeled. The room was in good condition, had comfy beds, and clean bathroom. Our only complaints were with the water pressure in the shower and there wasn't very much parking. Very nice staff at the front desk and nice pool area. Great price and good stay! We would definitely consider staying here again.

Stayed here for a birthday weekend. Hotel was very nice. Staff very nice. It was a short drive into old Saint Augustine to explore. Only a two minute walk to beach and ice cream. Several nice restaurants close bye.

Thank you for staying with us, its appreciated that you took a time and write such a nice review. We try our level best to provide higher standrad of hospitality to all our guests. As you mentioned yes we are only walking distance away from the beach.

The renovations made everything look new, the staff were great, but the smell of mold ruined our stay. They said the beach was a three minutes walk away, well....if you're 10 and can run there maybe but at our age it was quite a walk. They did serve a very nice breakfast.

This was a great hotel to stay at. Beautiful rooms freshly remodeled. First time I stayed at a here that did not have carpet. It felt very clean. Everything was very neat and clean Good value Everything was perfect until breakfast. The only thing I can say is maybe they should rethink serving breakfast it was terrible it made me sick the omelets tasted as if they had sat around for days. There was no room to hardly move in the breakfast area and it was just my wife and I. I write a lot of reviews as I travel a lot this one was a tough one hate having to write a bad review I hope they fix there breakfast issues

Thank you for staying with us and happy you enjoyed your stay, breakfast timings are 6 am till 10 am some time it gets busy but for 50 room small property we have enough room to sit down wit almost 12 tables and also siting area in lobby and you are always welcome to take your breakfast in room or enjoy it at our beautiful pool area.

My sons (4 and 14) and I stayed here one night. I Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The room was extremely clean and had the most comfortable bed I Have slept in at a hotel. The breakfast was outstanding. We will definitely return here.

My husband & I just returned from a two night stay - we attended a concert at the Amphitheater. We were very impressed and pleased with the modern and clean rooms. The decor was outstanding, even in the bathroom. Shower was great. Cleaning woman that we met was very nice. Check in was smooth and easy. Woman at desk offered us 3 room locations. We thought this was outstanding. This hotel is across the street from the beach, and within walking distance of restaurants. Very convenient to the Amphitheater. Parking is a little tight at the hotel, but we did find a parking space each time we left. Just mentioning a few things that could have made our stay better . . we intended to lounge around the pool for a few hours - didn't happen. The pool was cloudy; it wasn't sparkly or clean looking Friday or Saturday. That was a NO for us. The door to our room stuck, we thought it was our key, but it was the door - it took 3-4 tries before we could get it to open. The breakfast area where drinks, etc. was small. The tables and chairs in the seating area were jammed in there. The breakfast was just up to par the day we were there. I guess if you like gravy and biscuits, then it is great. We did eat cereal and the coffee was good. It seems most offered was pre-made. However, we would probably stay there again.

Originally we planned on driving home to Orlando after the day but we were tired and decided to stay the night and drive home in the morning. We were worried we wouldn't be able to find a room but we were in luck. The staff was great and quick to help with any problems. The room seemed to be recently renovated. Will absolutely stay here again when we come back to St. Augustine.

We are only 600 yards from Beach just on other side of the street offers full Hot/cold complimentary breakfast . Old Town trolley pickup right in front of of our hotel you can buy historical downtown tour tickets on discount at the front desk all our agents are very knowledgeable and helpful. They can help you a lot about area information,restaurants and Bar.

This hotel is truly only a few walking minutes from the beach. The staff was very helpful and made us feel welcome from start to finish. Parking is tight so a little more difficult for people with big trucks but our SUV was no problem. Our room had been recently renovated and was clean/comfortable and quiet! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back

Truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are super comfortable and very spacious. The room and bathroom were both clean. The beds were extremely comfortable with plenty of pillows for a good night sleep. Location is key, the beach is literally right across the street from the beaches. You have a long strip of beaches right in front of you. The staff is very attentive and will help with directions, suggestions and anything else you may need. The daily breakfast was very tasty and they offered a variety of choices which made it easy even for the most pickiest of eaters. We did not use the pool but it was available to about 10PM. We enjoyed our stay and if we come back to the area will absolutely use this hotel again.

Hotel is right across from the beach. The rooms are freshly updated with new paint and new furniture. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. About 20 minutes from downtown historic Saint Augustine though! Although breakfast is free, it was nowhere near what I expected. They ran out of food quite frequently and the eat in area is TINY. The walls are super thin so if you're traveling with kids, this may be an issue for noise complaints. I was stacked between two families and had problems sleeping. Overall, my stay was good. I would be back.

I am really starting to like the folks at Best Westren. My wife and I have joined them as rewards members and have stayed with them at every hotel stay on our vacation. This property has a gorgeous exterior. The outdoor pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The entire staff was courteous and friendly. Especially Vin & Victoria, they helped us out numerous times. Rooms were clean and updated. Breakfast bar was nice, I am finding out that most Best Western properties do have soy milk available upon request for any vegans traveling with you, this property included. This location is also in realistic walking distance to the beach, a walking trail, restaurants & a few stores. Overall the entire family enjoyed themselves here. St Augustine is a very beautiful and relaxed beach town, with that distinctive “Island “ feel to it.

Typical motel at the beach, not enough hot water at peak times. Overly crowded, very small parking lot with not enough spots. (front desk had guests parking in handicap spots?) we had to park on opposite side of the building from our room once. Door to the room was so hard to open and close you had to kick it. "free" breakfast was blah. Breakfast room was cramped and hot. Not a great way to start the day. Looks like they were just finishing with a remodeling so the room was OK. Horrible....... No. Will we stay there on our next visit to our nation's oldest city....... No, too many other choices.

I apologized you have not enjoyed your stay , but we are proud of our newly renovated rooms and got great reviews all our guests. Due to weather conditions we have to constantly work with improvement in the building. Parking is available for one car each room but its not designated with room numbers. Breakfast area has enough seating as per brand standards for 50 room hotel with 2 air conditioner and central air conditioner guests always turn them off because they feel cold Breakfast timing is 6 am till 10 am sometime everyone comes at the same hour and get crowded. Again we apologize for the inconvenience but we are no 1 branded property at ST.Augustine Beach.

Spent our vacation here. Short walk to beach and restaurants. The staff were friendly and made us feel like family. Will definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again. The room was comfortable and updated,pool was clean and grounds were nice.

Nicely updated! Tile floors, Great lighting , nice bath. Hot breakfast was good and there was a nice selection of breads, cereals as well. Parking is pretty tight and you may not be able to park close to your room. Desk staff was extremely helpful. No appreciable noise from A!A. Easy crossing to beach.

Just returned from our 5 night stay at Best Western St. Augustine Beach with my daughter and two grandchildren ages 10 & 12. Check in was fast & easy, rooms were very clean, decent size with mini fridge & microwave. Beds were very comfortable & free morning breakfast was good with a large selection. There are many restaurants within walking distance or a short drive from the motel. We purchased tickets for Historic tours of America trolley for downtown historic area. This was a great price, with a shuttle picking us up at the motel & bringing us back each afternoon, definitely a stress free way to see the sights! We are looking forward to our next visit!

Nice hotel. Nice decor, well maintained. Very helpful staff. No issues. 300 ft from, less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Free on site parking. Good internet speed. 10 minutes from historic district.

Pros: The staff at the front desk was super nice with each encounter. The aesthetics of the room renovations were very modern. Breakfast was great and the short walk to the beach was convenient. Cons: parking was tight at times and the walls seemed very thin and noise from other rooms was frequently heard. My main complaint was house keeping. The first afternoon upon entrance I noticed that the platform from bed was filthy around the mattress. The sheets were clean, but they were tucked under the mattress, thus touching the dirty platform. There was thick dust on the lamp shade and hair on the bathroom floor. One day we had tracked sand into the room from the beach and houskeeping left the sand on the floor which is not only dirty, but also a fall hazard on the hard floors. Overall our stay was enjoyable, but the housekeeping could use some fine tuning

Families really enjoy staying with us . we also have pool and hot tub, free WiFi and full hot complimentary breakfast.

We decided to stay close to the beach side on this trip. The hotel has a decent rate. The cleanliness of the room can be improved and additional parking would be great, as it was challenging to find parking for whatever reason. Overall, it was decent.

From the day we arrived till the day we departed we had the most wonderful vacation ever.. The staff was fabulous, the breakfast was great, the pool was wonderful and the place was quiet..You are 1 block from the ocean and do have to cross a road but with minimal traffic and at each crosswalk they have orange flags that you pick up so the drivers will know you are crossing.Close to Restaurants,ice cream shop,burger joint and about 1 mile south a Publix grocery store and also more places to grab some fast food.. Approx. 5 miles to downtown St.Augustine and here is a tip. If you have a Handicap tag or sticker ask where you can park for free because it will save you some money..

This hotel is close to the beach, basically across from it. Staff were friendly, kind, helpful, especially Vin. But all were great. Cost was reasonable. Parking is a little tight, but was Ok. Pool was the coldest pool I ever felt in florida!, but there is a spa too. Pool appeared clean, spa looked a little dirty. Breakfast was nice, great options! Waffle maker, assorted juices, different type of egg every day hard boiled, (scrambled, cheesy, fried?) Different meat every day-Bacon, sausage links, sausage patties, potatoes,Bagels, toast, muffins, biscuits, yogurt, coffee, cereal, fruit. Just great options. My room was nicely remodeled and was comfortable and seemed clean. Has small refrigerator (no freezer), microwave, single cup coffee maker. I would have given 4 stars, but....there appeared to be an old/current leak on my ceiling. Like it looked like it was painted over, but yet looked a little fresh even though it didn't feel wet. One of the reading lights above bed did not work. Air freshener was overwhelming upon arrival, and not sure why they spray it on the sheets? Like I could see/feel some of the spots on the sheets. And I wouldn't want that touching me. (Just asked for no room spray the rest of my stay) Inconsistent cleaning from housekeeping. 1st day housekeeping did a great job with the room- was impressed, but took until like 3p to clean it. 2nd day-housekeeping was just Ok. Didn't wipe out tub. Floor didn't feel so clean. 3rd was a little better. Worst reception in our room for wifi/phone service. I don't remember room #, but it was basically catty corner from the main officen all the way in the back 1st floor. (But it was a quiet area! Thankful for that) Overall, I would stay again. Great staff, great breakfast, great location. Maybe they will consider being dog friendly in the future.

Probably the best hotel that I have stayed for at this price. Staff was very kind and the location was perfect. It was a very short walk to the beach, which was not crowded at all which was perfect for a relaxing day. The beds were perfect and I had no complaints. I will definitely be staying here again!

Across from the beach, lots of great restaurants close, 5 minutes to the ampitheater, staff is wonderful, friendly, and go out of their way to make it a great experience! Great breakfast in the morning! Nice pool and good parking.

The 2 bedroom we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous and the service was excellent. The only downside was the ONLY mirror in the entire suite for 10 was in the bathroom. They had beach towels and pool towels at the front desk which was a big help. We contacted them for more towels, pillows, and sheets and they were prompt and pleasant. If you are looking for the beach area, this is right across the street. However, if you are looking for downtown St. Augustine, you will have to drive there as thats way to far to walk. Breakfast was pretty good too!

Clean and friendly staff, rooms very nice, very pleased overall. Breakfast was great, liked the change up for eggs, real eggs! Should you have to go to the Old Downtown St Augustine can purchase tickets at the hotel, very convenient!

My sister and I meet every Spring and we always go to a different destination. Not this year. We went back to St. Augustine Beach and stayed at the Best Western for a second time - even had our same room!! From check in to check out, our stay was fabulous. Housekeeping was great and Paolo and Clayton were spot on. The Front Desk staff was also very accommodating including Jody, Debra and the GM Ali. Thank you to everyone! Good Hotel Great Rates, Beds are very comfortable. Right across the street and walking distance to Beaches. Walking Distance to nice restaurants s well. Beaches can be accessed with 4WD vehicles. I will stay again.

We stayed here for 2 night.Check in was a breeze..room was lovely and bright and spotless...everything one needed there.Great idea taking away the carpet...especially with the beach across the road. Breakfast was grand but if something ran out you had to ask the girl instead of her automatically checking milk for fridge etc. Plenty of choice and great coffee...thought it would be bedlam trying to get a table but there was space for everyone. Only annoying thing is that on both mornings theerd weren't any towels for the beach. Heaps thrown around the pool and outside rooms..maybe a deposit of $5 should be taken then ppl would return them..I'm sure many get legs and walk.. would love to have stayed longer but didn't have time..will be back

we were delighted that a bus came and picked us up to take us to the beautiful historic city of st. Augustine. the trolley pass was for 3 days and we went into the city and enjoyed all the sights. we also took a boat cruise around the city, very reasonable priced.

Our sheets had not been changed and were full of black hairs. Our shower would not drain and was left unfixed for 2 days. There was snot on the shower wall from the previous guest. This was reported and never cleaned.

We stayed at this Best Western during one of the busiest weeks of the year- the first week of April. We booked it very last minute and were pleasantly surprised with how nice this hotel was. Very clean rooms, pretty property with palm trees all around, located a very short walk from the gorgeous beach, nice pool and hot tub. Our 8 yr old daughter loved the pool and we spent most of our days there. Beds were a little small- we had 2 doubles and it was not the most comfortable for my husband and I to sleep in one. I have to say the housekeepers worked incredibly hard- we saw them going from early morning to evening- please be sure to tip these hard working people! Yummy restaurants very located nearby- Salt Life was excellent as was the Sunset Grill. Ice cream shop is located right across the street and Cafe Eleven served good lunches. We LOVED LOVED the Kookaburra cafe down the street- excellent Hot Aussie coffee in the morning. The breakfast at the hotel was decent- I just had an english muffin most days but we are kind of picky and would rather spend a little money and eat out. Hot coffee served around the clock although because it was so busy they ran out several times in the morning. We used the washer/dryer on site which was really nice to have. We took the beach bus to the historic district which was free and pick up was right outside the hotel. Again, it was a busy week so the downtown area was a bit crowded and touristy for us, but still taking the trolley ride around the town to see the sites was fun. Would definitely recommend and may stay again!

The hotel was ok. Clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff. It is in a convenient location and across the street from the beach. It does have exterior corridors and limited parking. We will stay there again if nothing available a little closer to Flagler College.

So glad I chose this location for our family's stay in St. Augustine. While not beach front was a quick walk across street. Hotel has been updated well. No carpet in rooms. A plus for a beach hotel. Rooms are very modern. Comfortable room and bathroom size. Fridge and microwave in room. Breakfast area is really small. But, is quite adequate. No complaints. Hotel supplies beach towels even! The walk to the beach and nearby restaurants were very close, just minutes away. It was a quick drive to St Augustine Old Town Area. It was nice to be offered pool towels to use on the beach. The breakfast choices were excellent, the room decor and lobby decor were updated and modern. Wed had a great time for the four days we were there. We would definitely return in the future,

We have been very pleased with this Best Western...the staff, the surroundings & the hotel itself is very pleasant! Walking distance to several eateries & local coffee shop. Only a couple minute walk to beach from hotel & perfect relaxing spot!

I loved being so close to the beach and also having a family get together with family I had not seen in over 10 years. I was glad we had such nice managers to help us make this stay awesome. Avoid rooms 101-104. Noisy air conditioning unit howls all night. You pay through the nose for beach proximity. Nice people work here and good breakfast. Lots of nice details but so noisy in units by pool.

Loved this place as we got upgraded to a King size suite. Was a bit worried as there wasn't an elevator. However, room 303 was only one flight of stairs to negotiate. The suite had three steps into the door. Obviously not everyone would want to stay in it. The room wasn't that fancy, but it had everything including a kitchen. This would be an excellent place for more than a one day stay. The balcony was gorgeous. We didn't take advantage of sitting out on it as it was chilly. The guy who checked us in was decked out in a suit and looked very professional. It was a great touch. He was also very helpful in answering our questions. We walked about 4 blocks (without crossing the street) to an excellent restaurant, Sunset Grille, a recommendation from the gentleman at the desk. Would definitely stay there again.

This best western was very clean and quiet. The room was very spacious which was good as we were there for a few days. It is right across the road from the beach so easy access. Had a great pool, and good breakfast. Workers were very pleasant. Parking wasn't the greatest as we had a 12 ft trailer and had to park on the street.

Stopped overnight on our way to visit friends in central Florida. We booked this hotel because of the location. We were not disappointed the view of the bay is stunning and it's a close walk to everything you want to see in old town Saint Augustine. The room was very basic but very very clean.

Should have been a 5 but our timing was off. The pool was being redone, didn't really matter since it was cool for swimming but the patio was closed so you couldn't enjoy the sun. The rooms have been recently renovated. Very tasteful decor, great colours and appointments. The staff was very friendly and beach access is a short walk.

On our way from S. Florida to Atlanta, we decided to divide the drive by stopping in St. Augustine, and being in Florida, we HAD to stay on the beach. We chose Best Western because we are members of their loyalty program. The hotel was recently re-done, and the redo was excellent. Upon arrival, we were given a gift bag by the desk clerk, as appreciation for our loyalty. Our room was spacious and tastefully furnished. The free hot breakfast was a nice plus. There were several restaurants within walking distance. As we go to Atlanta often, this hotel just may become our permanent stopover.

We have never stayed in a better hotel ,motel for a base price of $85.00. The place has been totally updated with all New rooms and newly painted everywhere. The room were very clean as was all of the outside area. The deal were very helpful from the desk to the wonderful woman in the breakfast area. The breakfast was very good and clean and constantly refilled when something was out. It was a short drive to old town but I would stay here every time I was in the area. Beach across the street and one of the best restaurants we are at in our three day stay walking distance ( Sunset Grill) Stay here eat there.

Very helpful front desk personnel and breakfast support staff. Room was right off the parking lot but quiet. Amenities were all in working order and the room was clean. Some curling of tiles in bathroom didn't look good and could be hazardous. Easy walking to beach and restaurants.

Beautiful location with a view of the bay, beds were comfortable, desk clerk very friendly, short walk to the fort and right in the historic center. Extremely small bathroom, if you are a large person you will not be able to close the door if you use the toilet, seriously. Tired sticky floors, thin sheets, with a cost on a week nite for two with a small pup of 175.00, the internet price was 125.00 but you add up the taxes and the 25.00 dog fee and it quickly rises. No breakfast. Clean enough though and you can park right at your door. Two stories, we were on the second.

Normally when I visit St Augustine I try to stay in AirBnB so I can experience the city in a more connected kind of way. This time I sprung for a hotel, and was not disappointed. We came for a break from the cold of the Northeast. My bride and I along with her brother had a wonderful stay. The staff was extremely helpful. We arrived very early and they were able to get us settled in our room well before check-in. All the staff seemed to go out of there way to make our stay pleasant. The room was fine and the location to downtown was convenient. While the pool wasn't heated the hot tub was fine even though they were having some issues with the jets. I would recommend staying there and we would stay again if in the area.

I went into this hotel thinking I was going to get a low quality budget hotel, how I was wrong! This was a very modern looking room, one can tell from first entering that renovations and updates were recently applied. The bathrooms were immaculate, the beds were comfortable and the entire layout of the room was very well thought out and put together. They also do serve a continental breakfast which was also fairly good in comparison with others, I left satisfied with their offerings. The staff is also very helpful and friendly. The only draw back is that some of the rooms have paper thin walls, so sound travels between rooms easily. To avoid this, ask the front desk to put you in a "quiet room", where the walls are thicker. I would definitely return here for future visits to St. Augustine and I highly recommend this hotel to others visiting the area.

When we arrived we had to wait for the room, they were “cleaning” it. The bathroom was dirty. The rug between the bed smelled horrible, we had to take it off so we could sleep. The room was really noisy. There was ants on the furniture. After 10 hours traveling and paying $200 I was expecting much more, at least a clean room.

Room was nice, but nothing special. Seemed to be recently updated inside. Working outside for rewiring. Breakfast was standard fare. AC worked fine. I am sure there are more affordable hotels in the area, especially during winter months when beach access is not desired.

Rented a little room for a "staycation" (we live 30min away) for New Years Eve. Our check-in was quick, all rooms have a wonderful view of the bay, room was clean, surprised to find make-up removing wet wipes in the bathroom along with the typical shampoo/soaps/cream. As we checked out, we were handed a little brown bag with breakfast snacks and they had a pretty nice coffee machine with a nice selection of quick coffees. Although this is a pet friendly Inn, I did not hear any barking :)

Great place near beach, center of town,great service. I would recommend place.. very clean and great costumer service.. the front deak was awesome and went beyond to help us. I will return here for our next trip .

Inexpensive hotel with exceptional service, modern & clean rooms and located well for someone who wants to get both the historical town side and the beach side of St. Augustine. My husband and I were impressed and see ourselves staying there again.

Recently remodeled though it seems not by a professional, still the appearance was nice. Toilets need to be replaced and bed was hard, not just firm. Linens were nice, flooring was nice and the bath decor was nice. The room was clean which is most important. Parking was directly in front of room door which was nice. The staff was great. Overall it was a nice place for $86 (AARP) and we will definitely stay there again.

We had a very quiet, very clean, spacious room in this completely up to date hotel. We really enjoyed having the spotlights for reading over our beds. The breakfast was copious and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

On our summer family vacation, we stayed at the Best Western St Augustine beach for 4 days. The location was ideal for us in exploring nearby historic St Augustine and in that it's just a five minute walk to the beach. Set back a bit from A1A in a mostly residential area, the two levels of exterior access rooms are mostly hidden behind a few palms. We stayed in a second floor room near the parking lot. The room was nice with hardwood floors, with a few tiny ants making some appearances. Yuk! The medium sized pool is near the front separated by a fence from the perfect lawn. Continental breakfast is served every morning in a small room near the lobby. The changing food selection was pleasing, but more small ants appearing on the breakfast bar was not. Yuk, again. Around the inn, there was always some sort of masonry repair or room re-modeling going on at one time or another. I suppose that's good to see improvements happening. As check out time was approaching, we were running behind. I requested an additional hour and that was no problem for them without any extra charge. Though the décor is fairly basic, the great service and beach location at Best Western St Augustine Beach contributed to us having a memorable experience.

What an awesome facility! Newly remodeled, very clean and quiet location, convenient access to the city. Tasty breakfast buffet daily, great presentation. A bit small of an area to eat but folks seemed to come and go so didn't notice anyone standing and waiting for an available seat. Just a great place to stay and would do so again in the future!

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it overall. The breakfast area is tiny and the pool is not heated, but overall, we enjoyed it. Our room was pretty dark as it overlooked the one area of the hotel that was dark - the hallway. My son fell in the parking lot and broke his arm and the staff were very kind - got us bags for ice, made sure he was ok, etc. I was overcharged, twice, however, because the person at the front desk had not been trained yet...so, that was frustrating. We would stay here again, however...just would bubble wrap our son and double check our statements before we leave to ensure all was ok with the balance due.

For the business I was conducting the hotel was in a excellent location it also allowed me to relax with a pool, hot tub and the beach close by and a variety of excellent and very friendly restaurants close to the hotel.

Stayed at the Best Western Bayfront St. Augustine, Florida for a couple of days for a “girls” getaway. It is perfectly located, across the street from Matanzas River and the Castillo De San Marcos Fort and within walking distance to all the wonderful shops, taverns, and restaurants!!!

Great location, nice facility. Brand new rooms and very comfy across the street and not far from St. Augustine downtown. Restaurants and bars next door. The rooms are nicely decorated and just remodeled. I would recommend this property to anyone coming to this area. Nice price great value.

We planned to stay a week, but was cut short when I suffered a mini-stroke on the 3rd day. The entire staff showed caring and compassion to me in the hospital and offering constant support to my wife to ease the difficulty. The hotel and room were clean and modern, offering a good value. Can't say enough good things about the staff.... they made you feel like family!

Made a quick stop in St Augustine on our way home to Richmond from Cocoa Beach. Have family and wanted to spend some time with them. This BW is right across from the beach and has recently been renovated. Very pleasant stay the staff was very attentive and helpful. The cleaning staff was on it and I even saw someone cleaning the outdoor knobs on the doors. Very pleasant especially for a quick stay. Will stay again.

Saty was great and room was great. Would have gave Excellent Review but coffee maker took to long to make a cup of coffee and caused lines in small breakfast area. Also ran out of some items an hour before breakfast was over.

This Best Western is very clean and appears newly renovated. I had no problems whatsoever during my stay and thoroughly enjoyed the amenities. I expected a good breakfast having stayed at other BW, but I can't rate the service and offerings highly enough! The staff was very helpful. The hotel is directly across the road from Saint Augustine Beach, just a two minute walk from the lobby. You can't beat the value for this location, plus the service and quality of hotel room.

We stayed at the Best Western Seaside this past weekend while visiting St. Augustine and everything was fantastic. Nice clean, modern room with all the amenities. (mini fridge, microwave, alarm clock with USB charger ports and built in outlets, WiFi, coffee, hair dryer, iron and board, etc.) Any of the staff we interacted with were super friendly, helpful and professional. Loved the fact that they had a hot, relaxing jacuzzi to get in at the end of a long day of walking all around St. Augustine. The complimentary hot breakfast in the mornings was the highlight though. Wow! In all my hotel travels I've never come across a better breakfast. Just everything you could possibly think of. Sausage and/or ham, eggs, skillet style potatoes, biscuits and gravy, Belgian waffle maker with your choice of toppings and syrups, including whipped cream; cereals, toast, muffins, granola, fruit, coffee machine offering up an assortment of flavors/styles of coffee, tea, fruit juice, etc.. They outdid themselves. And the location if superb, right across the street from 8th Street, which is one of only two entrances to St. Augustine beach. You can't beat it. This is the place to stay in St. Augustine if you're interested in a mid-level/mid price range beachside hotel with all the standard perks and a friendly and helpful staff. Would absolutely stay again if we were ever back in St. Augustine.

Awesome staff, friendly, warm, helpful. Wonderful breakfast, starts at 6am and goes to 10. They offer waffles, fruit, eggs, sausages, various baked goods, coffee, juice, milk and cereal. Beach bus to and from old town. Nice pool and hot tub. Clean and modern decor. Very beautiful.

We stayed here to relax before a family wedding. It was great! Friendly staff, clean rooms, good variety of breakfast items. We used the hot tub and it was warm enough for us both. It was quiet around the area, very relaxing! The beds were cushy and we slept too well, we didn't want to get up. Check out was at 11 but my husband wasn't feeling too good so I asked and they gave me a late check out until noon. I will definitely recommend this place!

My roommate and I are originally from Orlando, and had decided to take a very necessary getaway. We had decided on St. Augustine, and came across two Best Western locations, unknowingly booking the location outside of the historical area, landing instead in St. Augustine Beach. Although, our 'mistake' wound up being a blessing, because from beginning to end, this experience was outstanding: We arrived to the hotel at around 8:00(pm) and checked in. My roommate was very pleased by the front desk agent, Joanne: she was very sweet, and was eager to assist us in selecting a place for dinner. She offered us coupons to different locations within walking distance, and provided us with a little 'welcome' goody bag full of snacks to keep in our room during our stay. The hotel room was pleasantly modern in decor, and we were greeted by an adorable dog on the bed made from hand-towels. The double-queen room was incredibly spacious and provided multiple pillows on each bed. The beds are adequately comfortable, and allow for a pleasant night's sleep. The television offered full access to DirectTV, with the option of charging movies to the room and paying for them in the final bill from the stay. The hotel is fixed right off the main road that goes through St. Augustine Beach, and the beach itself is a two-minute walk across a residential road that connects to the parking lot of the backside of the hotel. The room is fully equipped with a microwave, a mini-fridge, reading lights above each bed, tons of drawer and counter space, and plenty of outlets for charging phones/devices. The bathroom is separated by a sliding frosted-glass door and provides plenty of lighting and a ventilation fan operated by a switch. The sink space offers more than enough counter space, and comes with a full-sized ironing board, an iron, seven wooden hangers, a complimentary blow-dryer, and a hotel-grade set of toiletries. A perk of this location is that it has a bench for the Old Town Trolley (which I *highly* recommend) directly out front. The front desk provides you with e-tickets, good for 3-days, and a complimentary shuttle picks you up and takes you into the historical district where you are transferred onto the actual trolley (a must for first time visitors!). The hotel also features a full service continental breakfast from 6-10:00(am), and offers snacks, water bottles, and a modern multi-option caffeinated drink/hot chocolate dispenser throughout the day. There is a little fridge that provides hard-boiled eggs, yogurt cups, fruit cups, and milk all day. The continental breakfast offers breakfast meats, such as bacon and sausage, waffle batter and a waffle iron, scrambled eggs, danishes, cinnamon buns, fruits, cereals, and other grab-and-go options during its service hours. The attendant for the breakfast was also endearingly polite and thoughtful, offering to help us with anything we needed. My roommate and I have agreed that this is now our home-away-from-home when in the St. Augustine area. We had attempted to upgrade to the Hampton Inn a few buildings down from this Best Western, but returned immediately after comparing it to our stay at this location and deciding that the upgrade was unnecessary-- this hotel offers exactly what you need for a pleasant getaway.

Very nice hotel, good room and furnishings. Comfortable bed, Breakfast good. Nice pool and hot tub. Very close to beach and local restaurants within walking distance. We had continual problems with TV, remote didn't seem to respond. Front desk replaced batteries in remote but response was still slow to change channels. We gave up in the end.

This hotel by far was the nicest we stayed in out of all the Best Western so far very modern very clean and the origami towel on the bed was very nice touch. The staff was very helpful courteous and respectful.

This hotel is very well kept. The rooms have tasteful decor and still look brand new even though they were renovated a year ago. Excellent location just across the street from the beach, a short walk to all the St. Augustine beach restaurants, and a short drive to the historic downtown. All of the staff were very friendly. I cannot forget to mention their coffee machine...there are probably 10 different types of coffees to choose from-my fav was the cafe latte!

Just finished 4 nights here, room was like brand new, very clean, everything worked perfectly. Front desk was super nice, very helpful on local stuff. Nice pool, clean. Great location for beach, in town and restaurants

First visit to the area, stayed 2 nights. Our main reason was for a concert. Loved the beach and the City of St Augustine. Hotel was modern, clean, staff very friendly and professional. Used the free shuttle bus linked with the Old Trolley Tours, great way to see the City.

Huge rave for this hotel! We had been working non stop through Hurricane Irma and stayed one night at this awesome little property. The rooms were immaculately clean which I know can be a challenge for beach hotels. All team members we encountered were eager to please and incredibly upbeat and positive despite the hurricane that had just passed through. Special thanks to the GM Sean, the FOM Debra and the entire housekeeping team for providing us a clean and quiet room which aided in the best night sleep after quite a stressful few days! Stay at this hotel- you won't regret it!

Great location, quality service, and excellent rooms! It is located across the street from the beach. Plenty of eating options nearby. We walked right over. The employees make you feel right at home. The room décor is beautiful. I definitely plan to stay here again.

It was a perfect location. We could walk across the street to the beach and walk to restaurants. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was just ok and the eating area was too small. The hotel staff were kind and helpful.

The remodeled rooms are lovely. The location is great. It's a short walk to the beach and a short drive to the old city of St Augustine. There is a beach bus that picks you up right outside the hotel to go to the old city if you prefer not to drive. Parking is tight but there was always a spot. The buffet breakfast was not very good. There was no fresh fruit, only fruit cups. We ate there one morning and out the rest of our visit. This was disappointing as I considered this hotel a good value with breakfast included and we had to eat breakfast out most days. The beds were hard as a rock. I could hardly sleep at all the first night we were there. I was able to sleep the next nights out of sheer exhaustion from sightseeing. The bathroom is lacking a towel bar. This was baffling to me since they went through a lot of trouble to do a really nice renovation but there is no place to hang a wet towel?

Rooms were nicely remodeled the mattress was not very comfortable. the inside and outside of the hotel was clean. the food was ok at breakfast. (Eggs were terrible but boxed cereals juice and waffles were normally what to expect.

The staff is wonderful! My only complaint was the bed. It could be more comfortable. Was a little hard. But room was clean, pool was great, breakfast was awesome! We enjoyed it being close to the beach. It was also nice to visit the old town.

This place is very cozy and friendly. Amanzing place a block away from beach. Complementary breakfast was very delicious and if you are a coffee lover they had it all day long with flavors creams. Beds were clean and comfortable. Great place!

Great location for the $$. Easy beach access and close to downtown. Have stayed here many times and always enjoyed it. Front desk staff is awesome. Parking lot has another entrance now and makes parking easier.

The location was great. The front desk at check in and check out was great. The room was not always the cleanines even after housekeeping. Breakfast was average. Pool was always clean. No where to hang swimwear to dry in bathroom. Heard a very awful argument between housekeeping and maintenance; not professional.

My wife and I AWAYS loved this place. (Of course we did honeymooned there.) Best Western as done a fabulous job of remodeling and updating since 2001. In the last 2 years the place has really received a awesome face-lift. The grounds and building are clean and well kept. The rooms well laid out. All the wait-staff is friendly. Trixie with her smile and Jody with a wonderful knowledge of restaurants and attractions at the front desk. Always been a great place for us.

I booked several rooms for my daughter's birthday. The front desk was wonderful in making sure we had adjoining rooms. They also gave us a coupon for dinner. The rooms have been perfectly updated and are very modern, spacious and clean. The location is perfect for the beach, but also convenient to historic downtown. Definitely would stay again!!

I have had my share of bad experiences at best western, but I had to chance it bc the location and price were exactly what I needed. I was delightfully not let down this time!! The room is exactly as pictured, clean crisp beachy vibe and literally across the street from the beach. Can't beat that package! The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent and convenient! We took a dip in the pool which is nice but the too many kids. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Rooms had no carpet which was great since my husband has allergies. Not many hotels have that. Across the street from the beach. We would visit again. Parking spots were a little tight.

We stayed here for 3 days. Trixie at the front desk was very helpful. All of the staff in the check in/out area were super nice. The rooms were actually the ones pictured on the website and were very clean. The breakfast was good and when food got low, they were quick to refill it. I would definitely recommend this place for adults and people with children. Beach was across the street. Maybe a minute or two walk. If you want to find a good place to eat nearby, try the sunset grille.

Visited recently with a rather large group (8 people) and this spot was perfect for us. The king suite we reserved was a great price, and could have fit all 8 of us in it, though we had already reserved two rooms. Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is directly across from the beach, and it's a pretty secluded stretch (at least, it felt like it-maybe it's just a small beach!) so we weren't too crowded despite how busy St. Augustine was last weekend. Will definitely try to come back and get the king suite again at the great price they offer!

We stayed here two nights while in St. Augustine. It is across the street from the beach, but has a handy access to the beach across the street. A very clean and nice hotel. Great beds. Office staff very helpful. Have beach towels to use if you need them. Free continental breakfast with hot food was very good. A handy place to stay to get to the city or other areas. Very much enjoyed our stay here. We stayed on first floor, don't believe they had an elevator, but not sure since we didn't need one.

We felt that this hotel was in a great location,close to beach and municipal pier and just a few minutes from downtown St. Augustine. The rooms were clean and the service was excellent. It had a good hot breakfast that was serviced by very helpful ladies. The front desk people were very helpful with all the questions we had. Trolley pickup in front of hotel made our day more productive . Overall I would recommend this hotel to all my friends

This place is amazing. Hotel staff very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay very nice. The rooms were very clean, we enjoyed the towel animals made daily during cleaning. Breakfast was a welcomed add bonus. Would defiantly recommend.

Pros: Beach is right accross the street, restaurants and stores are within walking distance. Old St. Augustine is right over the bridge. Hotel has been recently renovated and breakfast is included. Cons: Parking is tight & trolley to Old Town only runs until 4:30pm.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on our drive back home from Hollywood FL. The city was beautifully decorated for Christmas at the time. St. Augustine is the oldest historic city in the U.S.with quaint Shoppes and restaurants.Guided trolley tours are offered of the city for a fee.The trolleys are not climate controlled( they are open,so it can get quite chilly during the winter months while riding them and hot during the summer.

Great location walking distance to heart of St Augustine. Very friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room with parking. There is a pool on premises and lots of stores nearby the facility.

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay at the Best Western St. Augustine Beach Inn. The hotel is newly renovated and very modern inside. Our room was very clean and bed/ pillows are comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator are a plus and added comfort to our stay. Breakfast was great with lots of variety, and a pleasant surprise was that cold bottled water was available the whole day in the breakfast area, as well as fresh fruits. It's a short walking distance to the beach. A free shuttle bus is available with the purchase of hop-on-hop-off trolley tickets (tickets are valid for 3 days). Also free parking at two designated spots in the St. Augustine are available if you decide to drive your car and then use the trolley. Publix is located 1.5 miles from the hotel, as well as many places to eat nearby. We didn't use the pool or a hot tub. Pool is very small and usually crowded. Area for improvement – designated spot needs to be added for washing sand off the feet after visiting the beach.

My mother and I have been very happy the last two times we have stayed at this hotel (previous to this visit, once in January 2017). We love the new renovations to the rooms and to the lobby. The staff has been very accommodating and helpful. The hotel manager, Jesse, is always helpful and friendly. The beach access has a nice boardwalk, so you do not have to climb over the dunes to get to the beach. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a quiet, restful vacation (whether solo, couples, or family).

I was extremely blown away at how nice the rooms were. They have been completely redone and upgraded their look. It was very nice. The beds were comfy and the staff was great! I was given printouts and recommendations of places to go. Everything was close by too! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

4 women went on a 4 night trip to the beach. The rooms look like the pictures and have recently been remodeled. Very nice sized rooms and big bathrooms! We had two adjoining rooms with two double Queen beds in each. Free breakfast each morning with lots of options. Pool area is a little small for the summer months but we still enjoyed having a pool. Two of the nights we were able to secure a table to play cards and order pizza by the pool. This motel is very convenient to beach access. There is a fairly large fridge in e room and a microwave that we didn't use.

This is by far the best hotel in the area. Great location and wonderful staff. Ask for Jesse (manager) if you have any questions or concerns. He's wonderful. The entire staff is. The recent remodel to the rooms was very attractive. At night is wonderfully quiet.

Pros: Staff was kind, courteous, and very helpful. Rooms were updated and clean Easy walk to the beach Cons: Not on the beach as lead to believe. A/C did not work properly, we could not leave the bathroom door open as the room would get too hot. Pillows were very small. Rooms somewhat small Dining area for breakfast not sufficient for the number of guests, I would suggest expanding and installing at least two additional waffle irons. Hot Tub not functioning

We try to make it very clear when speaking to guests, that we are not oceanfront, as to avoid the disappointment you experienced once you arrived. The hotel is clean, beds were comfortable and nicely located near the St Augustine Ampitheater and beaches. It is ACROSS from the beach, but crossing was not much of a problem. It is a bit overpriced, but otherwise no complaints. The staff was friendly.

Nice hotel I did not see any insects during my stay. Staff was really helpful and polite,room had enough towels and extra sheets, if needed, pool, parking lot, hot breakfast , fast supplying the kitchen area.

Hotel was excellent would highly recommend to anyone. It wasn't right on the beach but you can be then within minutes. Restaurants are close by which was great we walked everywhere. The hotel was clean and all the staff was very helpful.

We were told by BW that the hotel is on the beach. It is not. It is across a very busy street which would be terrible to cross with young children. The walls are too thin. We could hear every word spoken by the family in the next room. That was NOT relaxing. There are no carpets on the floor. The decor is spartan at best. The outside of the building is okay, but there was not ample parking. I would NOT stay here again.

Superb bed and pillows. Love the back lit bathroom mirror. Light and bright, not like typical hotels. Everything worked fine. Front desk extremely helpful with a pool issue. Breakfast delicious! I'm still dreaming of their pancakes. Super location across the street from beach access.

We were looking for a nice place to stay near the beach. This had the best reviews on priceline, so we took a chance and booked it. Staff was wonderful, they even offered a late check out. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. We didnt get a chance to use the pool or jacuzzi due to the non stop rain that weekend, but it looked inviting. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We only stayed one night but will seriously consider staying there should we decide to visit St. Augustine again. I was concerned it was too far from town but I loved that it was closer to the beach than it was to town. It wasn't far from town at all and much quieter. The room was very nice, the bed was very comfortable and the most important thing, the room was spotless. Don't know what the rooms looked like before the remodel but we thought they did an excellent job. Very inviting. The breakfast was okay. Nothing really special but I didn't leave hungry so that's not a complaint. The only issue we had was no internet. Since we were there for only one night it wasn't really a problem, we had our phones so we didn't bother to find out why. I completed a survey sent to us by BW and mentioned the internet issue and the next day I received an email from Jesse the Assistant General Manager apologizing and explaining the reason for the outage. I was impressed that someone actually took the time to read the responses as well as providing an explanation for the outage. To me, it shows they care about their guests. All of the employees that we came in contact with were friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman at the front desk that checked us in as well as the girl that checked us out. The entire experience made me happy that I chose this motel. I highly recommend this motel if you're looking for somewhere quiet, comfortable and affordable.

It's better than average but not quite very good but I gave it a 4 based on the price we paid for the room, the friendly service at the front desk and the location. The room was nicely decorated and there was plenty of space but the air conditioning unit leaves a lot to be desired. (Noisy and seemed to have a mind of it's own.) The housekeeping was a little hit and miss, one day we returned to a pile of towels just dumped on the bed and nothing else had been done but the next day, a little towel art. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable, not a vast choice but this suited me, it stopped me overloading my plate as usual and leaving the breakfast room with a bulging belly! Bowl of cereal and a fresh orange and I was good to go. The waffle maker is a nice addition too. I would probably try another hotel in the area on returning to St Augustine but if this was the only option I might consider booking again.

Clean, updated and a great staff. Across the street from the beach with an Old City shuttle bus stop directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast was great. Parking wasn't bad like other folks commented and wide enough spaces to minimize door dings. The hotel doesn't have a bar or restaurant, but plenty of both easily within walking distance. Unless you're a complete snob, you won't be disappointed!

Do not stay here, room infested with ants. Rundown hotel in the middle of upgrades which are cheap upgrades. Staff friendly but there are other hotels worth the price difference if your staying in st auggie beach

Great location, close to everything. The hotel was very clean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The short ride to the historic center was well worth it, very beautiful and old. Walking around was so much fun.

Out of the four hotels I have stayed at in St. Augustine, I believe this hotel gives you the greatest bang for the buck. You are right across the street from the beach and still close to the downtown. Many restaurants to choose form in the area without having to go back over the Bridge of Lions and fighting for a parking spot in Old Town.

We stayed the night here on our way home from a road trip. We hadn't planned staying here, we had visited St Augustine years ago and found it to be underwhelming an tacky. Have to say that we enjoyed our second time around much better. The hotel we chose was central and clean, nicely appointed. What got me here was the attitude of the front desk, they just "know" they're going to get stragglers who are in need of a room and the attitude shows it. All in all not bad, they need to work on the smugness of the front desk staff, price accordingly to their brand status and all would be well.

Such a beautiful renovation done here! From the outside to the inside, very very clean, very presentable, very "beachy" which was awesome. Overall, extremely impressed. The staff here go above and beyond to exceed your expectations and make your stay the best possible. The only complaint, Try not to get an "accessible room" as the showers in the room leak all over the floor every time you shower and makes for quite the mess when you're taking so many shower after the beach and the pool(which was impeccable and little paradise area).

The rooms were very updated, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was nothing to write home about and the parking terrible. If hotel is full and you come in late after dinner, good luck finding a spot. Almost impossible to turn around after you discover there's no parking. No hotel exit in back. If these two things were improved, would be a lot more enjoyable and a great hotel.

I think they were in such a hurry to renovate they did a poor job. Our grab bar in the shower was loose (reported it). They didn't refill the breakfast area. We got there at 8 am and it was out of items.

This is a really good place:staff are very kind and helpful,not rushed or perfunctory. The rooms are good too,what you'd expect . But you are a two minute walk to the Ocean park. That's the selling point if you come here with kids.

We enjoyed our stay at the BW in St. Augustine, they have everything you need and the hotel is very close to the beach. parking is a bit of a challenge, the parking lot is not user friendly especially if you park in the back by the pool. There is only one way in and out, that lot gets full quickly and it is difficult to turn around.

We were travelling to Florida from Ontario and we only had a few days to get there. We treated ourselves to not only a beach day (excellent beach btw) but a nice hotel close with pool. Our room was modern, clean, king bed, excellent sleep here. I would go back in a heartbeat and enjoy more nights here!

On Saturday afternoon we had a family that needed help with our local enforcement. The unfortunate situation lasted for 2 hours, and was over by 4:00 pm. Although the hotel had no control over the situation, we did try to minimize guest impact, and we do apologize if it affected your stay.

From the minute we stepped in the front door until we left our stay was terrific. The staff were more like our friends. We had free breakfast, free internet and discounted trolley tickets. The tolley picked us up at the hotel and we did sight seeing all day without driving.

The location is an easy drive to downtown, but the best part is that you're one block to a peaceful stretch of ocean and in a quiet neighborhood, with a pool and hot tub! The rooms are clean, and the included breakfast is fresh and very good. The downtown trolley pickup is right outside, encase you don't want to fight the traffic and parking.. Ohh ! The rooms have coffee pots, refrigerators and microwaves !!

I work in a hotel myself, so in reading all of the reviews for hotels in St. Augustine Beach, I chose the Best Western. Beginning with our check in with Trixie and Jesse untit our check out with Trixie, I can't tell you how much we loved the hotel. The rooms are spotless, the staff is so accommodating and just the overall atmosphere of the hotel is fabulous. And housekeeping - just perfect every day (4 night stay). Even tho we try to visit a different destination every year, we are seriously considering going back to St. Augustine next year, and the main reason would be to stay at the Best Western Inn. First time staying here and was very impressed. Recently renovated, great tile floors, furnishings and especially the bath. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again. Very easy access to beach. Trolley pickup to go downtown. They even let us leave our vehicle while we toured downtown after checkout.

This was a great place to stay away from the crowds and in walking distance to the beach. My sister and I came to town to photograph nesting birds at the Rookery at Alligator Farm.We had a wonderful visit with friendly personnel. We will be back just like the snowbirds.

My wife and I stayed at the Best Western St. Augustine Beach Inn from March 25 to April 3, 2017. We found the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is also very clean and well maintained. It is located just across the road from a beautiful beach. There was an issue about the booking, but the manager looked after our concern in a very professional way and the issue was resolved to our satisfaction. Ruth and Ernst Friedel, Canada

Hotel was nice, rooms are a bit smaller, but clean and updated. Our room was not facing construction area so it was quiet (until a car alarm woke us at 7am). Breakfast was fine in a very crowded space but there was enough variety for a hotel breakfast.

Great place to stay on A1A. Close to the beach, walking distance to restaurants, and the trolley picks up from this hotel. They have free breakfast each morning (waffles, eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins, fruit, etc). Staff is very friendly and nice.

Guess we shouldn't have stayed but it was only one night and we didn't want to go to the trouble. They need to renovate and deep clean this hotel and furnishings and get rid of the musty smell. Breakfast had variety but eggs appeared powdered and bacon was wallowing in grease. They are building a road next to it so construction started very early. Many other nicer hotels on this road.

We recently stayed at the Best Western St Augustine Beach Inn. Great hotel with wonderful staff. The breakfast was amazing, lots of choices, always fresh and served from 6 to 10 everyday. Housekeeping did a great job every day, sweeping up the sand we tracked in and thoroughly cleaning our room. Front desk staff was very helpful with restaurant recommendations. They had good knowledge of the area and were patient when we asked questions. Always very pleasant to deal with. Excellent hotel and a great value.

We stayed at this Best Western for one night on our way to Orlando. WE started our trip a day earlier then planned. When calling this hotel, I was glad they had a couple of rooms left and a decent rate. This hotel was great. The room was clean and I was informed that it was remodeled about 6 months ago. The hotel is in a good location, right across from the beach. The front desk staff were very friendly when checking in. My kids enjoyed the pool even though it was about 60 degrees out. The complimentary breakfast had a good selection with waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage. This was our first time in St. Augustine, and I know not our last. I would definitely like to stay at this Best Western again for a bit longer.

My daughter lives in Saint Augustine and I was visiting. She rents a room, she's a Flagler student. We wanted to be near the beach. This was a great central place for us to be near sites, restaurants and shopping.

We loved staying here for two nights. The rooms looked newly remodeled. Very clean and nicely decorated. The front desk staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good, hot breakfast choices and a really good variety. The pool was freezing even though it was 80 degrees out. The hot tub had a lot of debris and wasn't hot. Those two things were the only reasons I didn't give it a 5 rating. I would highly recommend this hotel. Great location.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights over Thanksgiving when we were visiting relatives. By booking this hotel a long time in advance and using the AARP discount, I got a good rate. Checking back later the rate had gone up a lot. The room was large, with two queen beds, an easy chair with a footstool, a desk and chair, a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge and a microwave. There was a combination shower-tub. The beds were comfortable and there was good wifi service. There was a good breakfast—both hot and cold items. We asked for a quiet room and were placed on the second floor at the rear of the building. No problems or complaints at all.

I try to stay exclusively at Best Western when I travel. Loved, loved, loved this one. Modern, CLEAN and quiet and a block from ocean. No cleaning crew early in morning. It was like walking into a first class cabin on a ship. Everyone and everything about this hotel was first class.

Great beach location. Staff was friendly and check in very easy. Room was decorated professionally and very comfortable. Entire stay was great! Breakfast was not very good however, but not horrible. Otherwise, would definitely stay again and enjoyed ourselves in St Augustine immensely!

My recent stay at this hotel was flawless! I was first impressed by the desk manager, Jesse. He was so friendly and helpful by offering information about the area to help us get the most out of our short stay in St. Augustine. We were all impressed by the room. The new renovations are so fresh and modern! The bathroom especially was clean and perfect. The breakfast was very good. The fruits were fresh, bacon & eggs looked good too. I made myself a waffle dark & crispy. It was great! I want to thank the desk staff for helping me with a problem I had. I left two of my shirts hanging in the clothes rack. When I realized it after I got home, they offered to mail it to me! I appreciate this so much. I enjoyed my visit to St. Augustine & plan to return for a longer visit. When I do, I will stay at this Best Western without a doubt.

Great hotel! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was nice and updated ,breakfast was very well stocked.Price was excellent for how nice the room was. Will stay again when we return to area. Short walk to beach and resturants.

The Staff were amazing, They went out of there way to make sure we had everything we needed. I used there dryer to dry my clothes and it blew a fuse and they dried my clothes for free,they gave me a printed copy of direction to Orlando airport, The night manager gave us a wake up call & brought us up fresh coffee and carried our luggage to our car for us. The stay was very nice,the rooms are nothing special and didn't come with a Bible, But the Great service maid up for everything else. You also can walk across the street to the Beach

Having just spent time in a dreadful inn down in Vero beach, this motel was a most pleasant surprise. Totally renovated room, free parking at your door, excellent breakfast and a really low price, what is not to like. Would highly recommend this spot, of all the places we stated in the USA, this was by far the best value.

The rooms have obviously recently been remodeled and are quite nice. But there was an ocean smell that was relieved by fragrance spray. I wouldn't let this put you off. The price of the room was more than reasonable, just pack some spray. I would have ranked this hotel with 4 stars but there was a hot water issue. I reported it to the front desk but I went a day and a half with lukewarm water. Nice breakfast area. Nice pool area.

Our family of four stayed 2 nights. The staff could not have been more friendly, helpful and pleasant to interact with. The rooms were as nice as the resort we stayed in at Universal and incredibly clean. Would absolutely recommend to family and friends!

My wife and I booked three nights and were very pleased with our accomodations. Breakfast is included. We had a room with two queen beds. The room was either new or recently renovated. We had a very nice spacious bathroom. There were enough plugs for our phones, laptop, iPad, etc. There is a pool and hot tub. A road to the beach is diagonally across the street. It is about a 5 minute walk. There are several restaurants that are not far by car. We would go back again, if we were in St.Augustine Beach. Parking is a little tight.

Stayed one Saturday night. Great customer service in Lobby and room had a modern and attractive remodel. Easy 1/2 block walk to beach. Great breakfast and would stay again. Parking is tight due to a small footprint but beach property is like that.

I've stayed here over the years just to get away and be at the beach. This trip I was totally surprised that the rooms and hotel have gone thru great upgrades. Rooms are very modern, tile floors thru-out, beautifully decorated. Pool is open til 10 at night, including hot tub. Continental breakfast great to get your day started. Just a short walk across the street, with access to the beach. Not far from the pier area. Will continue to make this my getaway!

Spirit of the moment get away, had stayed here before, rooms have totally been remodeled. Comfortable, modern, clean ....just a wonderful place to stay. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Even offered several recommendations for dining.

Planned a weekend trip to the beach with my brother and his family. The hotel let us check in a little early and we changed into our beach clothes and walked one block to the beach. Hotel staff were very nice, the hotel was pretty clean and the rooms were just alright. Free breakfast the next morning was in a tight space and the food was average. It is within walking distance of some restaurants and bars.

the hotel is updated with great style- the staff is wonderful- the 1 bedroom suite is fabulous! The breakfast was very good! It was right across the street from beach - 2 minute walk! Kristina and Jesse are awesome! I had family come from Mass and KY and they all loved it!

Room was very humid, enough that the A/C couldn't get the humidity out, semi disappointed at that. Breakfast we were greeted with friendly staff but almost like vultures in a small area with only minimal food out. We opted for milk and cereal and ate in our room. TV was outdated and the channels didn't come in great. The decent part is the distance to the beach and the price compared to other hotels in the area. We were able to stay for a couple days and let our son visit the beach. We wouldn't return if we had a chance, we would pick another place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had booked a king room but were upgraded to a suite. Both of us were blown away by its size. The decor was beautiful. The staff was warm, friendly and helpful. It was very clean and I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. We will stay there again in the future.

Hotel clean, safe, good internet, good breakfast. Across the street from the beach, hotel was as described. Matthew caused us to have to leave early, hotel staff told us when we needed to leave, make reservations to ensure a room in FL.

I will come back to the Best western Seaside Inn and suites.. It was clean, up graded, bathroom very clean and pretty. Pool area clean. The grounds were clean and well kept. The front staff friendly and helpful.

Booked for 1 night on a Sunday as we could not get in on the Saturday...stayed in a hotel down the road and could not wait to leave. Upon entering the Best Western we fell in love with it. Very clean, modern and beautifully decorated. Lovely room, bathroom and pool and the staff were very accommodating. A few mins walk to the lovely beach. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return if i was to come back to St.Augustines.
