Helpful staff, good breakfast & clean & spacious rooms. but not good value for price paid. Booked in advance as BW card holder but received no benefits & was charged incredibly high price which subsequently dropped once i'd booked and paid.
Nice room, comfortable bed and clean space. Good breakfast, but expensive for what is offered. When I received the key of the bedroom, I opened the door and the room was busy with another guest. And took time for the reception to understand and give me an empty room. And I didn't receive anything for this big mistake that they have done.
We paid a lot of money to stay here during the Olympics and it was not really worth it. It's an OK 3 star hotel but only worth it if you are getting it cheap. On the plus side, the room was very clean, bathroom modern, bed comfortable. And well air conditioned. We also liked the free filtered water downstairs. But the room overlooked a main road, so no chance of opening a window. And the sliding door to the bathroom didn't close fully ( not because it was broken, just the design) which meant noise and smells in the bedroom. And the location isn't wonderful for Paris, you have to get a bus or walk 10+ minutes to the metro. Puteaux is quite a nice little suburb though.
Great little 3* hotel in a wonderful location with a number of excellent restaurants, bistros, bars, all close by. A 20/25 minute walk to the metro, one the one line direct route into the centre. We had room 108 which was a 3 bedded room. It was a very clean room, had an excellent shower and was adequate space for three adult males. We were looked after from the moment we walked in by the wonderful Shallah, who couldn't have been more helpful, from start to finish. I will definitely return to this hotel.
Great place, nice atmosphere, decent place to stay. Clean and comfortable beds, spotless linen, fresh towels. Complimentary water, tea and coffee at the room with few biscuits. Balcony with atmospheric view of inner yards, nice spot to have a glass of wine in the evening
A dangerous experience in this hotel. I stayed for 3 nights; the first 2 nights were fine but on the last night someone from the night staff got inside my room at 2AM after quietly knocking and entering while I was in bed. LUCKILY the A/C was not working so impossible to sleep and I was awake to catch the guy. I quickly put on some pants and went outside to confront him. He was simply "looking for something a client had forgotten..." -- at 2AM in the morning, while my room was occupied. A very unsafe experience which as you can guess gave me a hard time to go back to sleep. After explaining this to the staff at the reception at my morning check out, they simply said it was not normal but that this person was new and made some weird decisions [NO SH**T]
Hotel very well located, mainly the day of the French national holiday July 14th. 35 minutes of fireworks front outside of the hotel. that day, for parking, you must arrive before 3pm. if not you have to park more or less 3km from hôtel
Beautiful hotel ideal for touristic trips. Without doubt one of my favorite hotels I stayed in Paris! - Location wise, it was really easy to get in the heart of the city either by bus or uber (only 5 euros) to get to La Defense then only 10-15 minutes to the main attractions in Paris. The area was also really nice with the view onto La Seine. A Carrefour is located nearby and some good restaurants are around. - The room was pleasant to stay in and was clean, modern and spacious. The bathroom was also perfectly equipped with everything you could wish for in a hotel. - The staff was welcoming and helpful concerning the attractions in Paris. Breakfast was copious offering a lot of options. - All in all, we were very pleased with our experience and will definitely come back.
Perfect hotel for business trips. Just 5 minutes from la Defence. The area around the hotel is safe, includes a couple of restaurants and has easy access to public transports (Busstops right next to the hotel, Tram/Metro station within walking distance). Getting into city (Chatelet/Les Halles) took us a good 15 minutes. Rooms are cozy with high quality furniture, breakfast was better than expected for that price range. Service personel was friendly, early 5am check-out with taxi was organised. Neither me nor one of my business partners had problems with the heating, which was mentioned in earlier reviews (probably fixed it). Will book again, if business brings me back to Paris.
Located right beside the Seine river but far from the city center. Cab fare average from Eiffel Tower was 15 euro. Small rooms, and very confusing layout. Rooms on same floor can be reached by separate elevators and staff did not tell us. We had to lug heavy luggages all over the hotel using very minuscule elevators before we could get to the correct room. My room on the 4th floor was relatively bigger than the first room given to me. I asked for a transfer because it was noisy at the first room, it was just beside the breakfast area. There was no AC but there was an electric fan on standby. Breakfast was repetitive, and crowded. Rooms are ok even if small and location tolerable but service was bad. Not coming back.
The staff at the reception were cold and not bothered. We went to the hotel with out car. We drove up to the front removed the bags and asked them if they had parking. They gave me a slip of a parking garage and told me to park there. Later I found out that parking is free during August in Paris. They could have saved me over 15 euros if they had just told me that. The room was small but clean and ok. The a/c wasn't working and thus was super hot. The fan didn't help much. The location of the hotel is in a safe looking area and that was the only plus. Won't be staying there ever again.
Decor fine, room adequate size, well appointed except air-con totally ineffective. Pay underground parking 100m away. Don't leave breakfast until last minute, they tend to run out. It's ok though. Nice restaurants nearby (including v good Cameroonian one around the corner. Walk over the Seine Bridge into the Bois de Boulogne. Reasonably good bus & metro connections to city centre from La Defense
Hotel is situated in Puteaux, walking distance to the business area. The rooms are comfortable - reasonable amount of space compared to other hotel rooms in Paris - clean and air conditioned. Beds are good and the bathroom is nicely equipped (i.e. hair blower present). You have the possibility to make a cup of tea or coffee in your room. They also serve a very good breakfast. Staff is friendly and also speak English.
The hotel is in a good location that is accessible by public transportation to the main attractions of Paris. The staff was fine. The breakfast was not good in comparison to the other hotels we stayed in France. The air conditioning was out of order during our stay which made early evenings difficult because temperatures were in the mid30s Celsius during the daytime. The rooms were clean and spacious enough for our needs. There are many restaurants, banks, and grocery store nearby making things convenient.
By far my worst experience in a hotel ever, especially considering the fact that I travel for business every week. The air conditioning was not working, the response was that it will take TWO WEEKS to fix, the put a fan in my room which only made it worst, the bathroom had a foul odor, the staff was not happy to help and extremely slow at checkout. Do not stay here!
We arrived to find we had a double bed when we had booked a Twin room. The concierge could not find a twin room but after we negotiated he did find a room with zip apart beds and some spare sheets from the housekeepers cupboard so we could make up our own beds. We had no apology but to be fair it was put right the following day for the rest of our stay. The hotel is 20 minute walk from the Metro. The room had aircon, double gazing which muted the traffic noise, fridge, safe, kettle and clean bathroom with excellent shower and selection of toiletries. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very good with pastries, jam, toast, ham cheese, scambled eggs, dried fruit, fresh fruit salad and yogurts in abundance. The coffee from the machine was fine for us.
Recently renovated hotel with some very nice rooms, like room 10, windows to the patio, large and very quite. You may sleep with open window in the middle of Paris. Decent breakfast buffet. All in all excellent value for my corporate rate of €135 breakfast included.
the best Western Seine is a good hotel 2.5 km from la Defense. near Metra esplanade Paris line 1. it is on the side of the Seine with nice shops and restaurants nearby. close to all business areas. the rooms are modern and well furnished. bar is medium size but nicely furnished. breakfast is good. good quality hotel. thank you.
Beautiful and modern hotel. Ideal for a couples getaway. Clean, pleasent rooms with a good modern feel. Lovely staff at the front desk always willing to go out of their way to help. I was amazed this hotel was rated 3* it is easily a 4* by my standards. Ideal location wise, hired a car for the duration of my trip, approx 15 minutes drive from the eiffel tower and other attractions. The hotel is located in a quiet spot in Paris, the business end if you like, would definately visit again next year. If your looking for a good deal, value for money trip your getting more than you bargained for with this hotel. Highly recommend.
We travelled as a famiy and had a duplex room that our kids loved! Hotel was clean. La Defense station was a 15 minute walk and from there you get to most major attractons with just one change of metro. Breakfast at the hotel was very good. There was a small Carrefour closeby that you can get your groceries from. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and answered all our questions.
Stayed here as the second hotel on a school group tour of Europe. It felt newly renovated and the rooms were clean and bright. We arrived super late (1am) and the front desk clerk was cheery and helped check us all in efficiently. The location isn't great (it's at least about 45-50 minutes by foot/train combination to most of the main attractions). Breakfast was included and the selection was reasonably varied. Layout of the hotel is a bit strange but it works for them - lots of different room layouts/sizes too.
Ticks all my boxes: modern and clean room, good shower, airco, so a very good 3 star hotel. No restaurant but there really is no need. Puteaux is a small village, you will find plenty of restaurants at walking distance. Please check my review on "la perle de l'Ecailler". About the water being cold, it is true you have to let it run 30 seconds before it gets hot, but it does get hot in the end. Maybe the hotel could improve to communicate that in the bathroom with a message. Did not take breakfast so no comments there. Overall, very recommandable hotel.
This is the most confusing hotel I've ever been to. some rooms are not accessible by elevator, some by elevator then by stairs, The breakfast was ok, but because i was there with a group, we had another breakfast location that didn't have as many offerings as the main breakfast. The air conditioning leaked water onto the floor, and it took 3 days to get it resolved. 1 day we came back to the room and no toilet paper was there, so we had to go to the front desk to ask for it. It's an ok place to stay, but be aware the nearest metro station is a mile away, so plan wisely. That being said, the desk staff was very helpful, i was there with students and the front desk staff helped them order pizza because none of the students spoke french.
Stayed here before and the only negative is that they don't have a restaurant. Breakfast is good, not exclusive but it ranges the basics. If you're looking for a grand breakfast buffet this is not the place. As there is no restaurant, there is no in room dining possibilities, something I can miss if, but there are restaurants around the corner of the hotel if which some offers takeaway. Rooms are fresh and reasonably newly renovated. Light colors, TV set, hairdryer, kettle.... No minibar. Stayed in different room categories and the smaller ones are tight but it still works out if you're single. Two major suitcases would be problematic. Staff is friendly and attentive. From the airport it's a 35-60minutes drive depending on traffic. A 45 minute drive will cost around 50euros. If you need early check-in, better notify the hotel in advance.
Stayed here a night on a business trip and was positively surprised. It was very clean and the rooms was very modern, lots of channels on the TV (only two english though..). Breakfast was small, but definately good and didnt miss anything. Its not a very big hotel and theres not much in the immediate vicinity, but if you're in the neighbourhood it is a good option.
The hotel is modern and is has well designed rooms. No parking but that is available at a public parking at 250 meters walk. Rooms are comfortable. Bed was just fine. Quiet. All is clean. Why just average? No hot water. Not even after 5 minutes running water. Same in colleagues rooms but after a while they got warm water they said. We arrived on Sunday evening at 23.00 and bar was closed. Minibar had just 1 bottle of complimentary water. Breakfast is better than the average French breakfast. If the warm water issue is solved...they would really deserve a "very good" review.
The rooms are not big, but are confortable and quiet. The location is close to the LA Defense underground and there are plenty restaurants just few meters away from hotel entrance. Staf was nice and also has free wifi. Breakfast is good quality.
We stayed here for 4 nights and the room service was good as well as the room even if they where quite small. However the breakfast was not tasty or diverse quite the oposite. Still the resturant near by La Fondandella was very good.
very small room, dodgy wifi, selective allowance to websites, sound stupid, but would not allow access to my football game. band site? thin walls so you can here conversations in the hall or next room. air con suspect. shower soaks everything and the cord was broken.service is good. location to la defence area is good too. breakfast cold continental, no evening meal option. shop arround the area if staying local.
Traveled here with group of 48 people Small rooms are the norm in Europe. The shower was great! Breakfast good and friendly. The neighborhood was interesting and the hotel is right along the Seine. It is a bit of a hike to the Metro however but very easy to get to historic Paris. This hotel is more in the Paris business district NOT the tourism area.
Pros: - Clean, modern, tries to be funky - Polite & helpful staff Cons: - Wooden floors, you can hear EVERYONE around you - Impractical layout very hard to find your room (its a bit of a maze) - Bad location, long way from any good eating places at night (no dinner service in hotel)
During my visit it is on renovation stage.food is ok.the room was nice.the elevator however very very small.it managed to fit a person with 2 luggage bag.however staff was good and helpful.really make a come back one day.
Room was small, but nicely decorated. My room was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet. The tea facilities are nice. Free WIFI is very good! Never had any problem with connection. The restaurant next to it, is nice to have your dinner. Also the breakfast at the hotel was nice. Everyday the same, but enough choise. I tried to reach the reception once by phone, but this wasn't possible.
Recently renovated and I would say definitely one of the best hotels in (greater) Paris within its price class. The rooms are spacious, beds are good and the best thing: plenty of power sockets at precisely the place where you need them (most hotels in Paris are a nightmare when it comes to this).
Booked the hotel because it was walking distance to Hippodrome Longchamp for the Prix Arc de Triomphe The rooms are very small and there is no storage or bench to put you luggage... suitable only for people with a small backpack staying 1 night The hotel has very small lift... it says 4 people but lucky to fit 2... lots of stairs which is another reason to avoid if carrying luggage... don't expect help from staff to have it delivered to your room. The shower is also small ... breath in very tight to squeeze between the shower doors... they will need special tools to get you out if something happens They don't replenish your bottled water or change the towels... house keeping is tidying the bed only and nothing else occurs. Was undergoing renovation and the constant tapping of hammer on nail and the grind of an electric drill will drive you crazy... reception staff offered no solution, other than it stops at 5pm
I rented two rooms in this hotel and both were dirty, smelled of sewer and the safe did not work. Until they clean up their act, I would not recommend this hotel. Sorry, BW but you need to do more checks on the rooms after they are 'cleaned' by your personnel!
I hope that the hotel price is reasonable and valuble for guests. I participated a Paris Tour with my family. I spent three wonderful days in this hotel. I advise you to stay this 3 star hotels better than city centers. Hotel personnel were really helpful and polite. Thanks for employees for cleaning the rooms everyday without notice. Wifi opportunity was wonderful for my family. There were good restaurants and cafes around the hotel. Train was an optional transportaion advantage. Good breakfast , sleep and rest.
Nice Hotel, centrally located, friendly staff - though not always helpful to visitors (defect safe because of missing batteries, no replacement batteries could be provided!) - Good breakfast, nice rooms (partially a llittle too small). Recommended for business and vacationing. Reservations needed!
It's hard to imagine more things that could be less than adequate. First the good stuff. The price was reasonable and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Now the stuff that makes me never want to return: 1. Upon entering the room there was a STRONG smell of raw sewage. Apparently due to a dry trap, which was then rectified, but it still has a less than agreeable smell. 2. The room looks like an army barracks. One single bed at the entry, and two single beds pushed together in the main room. 3. I asked for a quiet room so I could rest during the day to get over some jet lag (connecting to Moscow tomorrow). No such luck - some guy with a jackhammer entertained me all afternoon. 4. Toilet paper holder falling off the wall. 5. Toilet paper roll almost gone, and no replacement roll to be found. 6. Wifi so slow, it was almost unusable. 7. Beds are hard (I don't mind firm, but this is military issue!). 8. No apparent way to control room temperature (unit on the wall was dead, and no way to get it going), so to keep the room cool, I opened the windows and got a lot of street noise.
