Best Western Plus Perth Parkside Inn & Spa

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now. We have thoroughly enjoyed it everytime and are hoping to go back at some point. The staff are outgoing, helpful and very friendly. The hotel and rooms are very clean. The breakfast is very good and I loved that I could get coffee, hot chocolate or tea at any point during the day or night. The hotel backs onto a beautiful park that we enjoyed even with it being cold and snowy. Perth has some amazing restaurants that are all walkable from this property.

One of the best hotels I have every been in. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The little extras were appreciated. Breakfast is amazing. They have an exceptional spa and hair salon. Very clean rooms. Will definitely stay again. Wish I could rate it higher.

Room was spacious and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. lots of parking and it was quiet so falling asleep was easy on their comfy beds. restaurant had great tasting food and well worth the price.

A spotlessly clean hotel located by the Tay River in beautiful Perth. The name describes it location perfectly. We had a great view of Stewart Park and the Town Hall. Our full breakfast was delicious and promptly and courteously served. This is my second stay in this property and I will gladly return in the future.

Stayed one night to celebrate a family birthday, We had stayed previously at this location and enjoyed it so decided to return. Check in went smoothly as we had preregistered, so a quick stop at front desk to pick up our keys. We reserved a king bed suite with a river view. It was located on the 3rd floor. We opened the door to the suite and found a very large kitchen /living area with a bathroom off of it with a shower. The king bedroom is separated from the kitchen/living room area by pocket doors on either side of the bed. The good sized master bathroom had a jacuzzi tub, large vanity, so lots of space for toiletries, and heated floors. There is no carpet in the suite which we liked. The flooring is vinyl plank and both bathrooms had marble floors. There are plenty of windows so the space is bright. The curtains kept out the light when closed and the sheer curtains provide privacy during daylight hours. We did not use the kitchen facilities other than the fridge, the large dining table and small sink. There were plenty of towels in each bathroom; the kitchen was equipped with dishes, glasses and utensils. This suite was great for us as the sofa converted to a bed. We had dinner at the Locks Restaurant which is located in the hotel. A very inviting space with glass topped tables, white leather chairs, a fireplace on one wall and plenty of windows. There is a nice patio attached to the restaurant where we enjoyed drinks on a previous visit in better weather. We enjoyed the food, plenty of options. Breakfast is included with the room. A nice bright dining room. You order your breakfast and it is served to you; not a breakfast bar. The choices are limited but we found what was offered had everything we needed and we enjoyed it very much! We didn't use the pool or go to the spa. The location of the hotel is good as you can walk to various restaurants and shops. Perth is a pleasant community and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Two couples on a two night midweek February getaway. We make it a point to visit this fantastic Hotel and City at least yearly. It's all right here-an excellent restaurant, spa and salt water pool steps away from the elevator. An exercise room is also on site. Situated right downtown beside a beautiful park. Squeaky clean rooms and surroundings, friendly helpful staff located in a historic town makes this Hotel our favorite.

This was a travel day for us. I had booked n advance and saw the amenities, but shrugged it off. We arrived at 9pm. The drive in from Toronto was back roads and may have been scenic, but for a night drive in the pouring rain. I would plan this drive better. The restaurant/lounge looked nice, I would plan to dine in. The spa menu was appealing and I'd book a treatment. Pool and hot tub too. Reviewing room 416. The room was huge. Nice towel animal on bed. Bathroom has heated floor. We would most definitely stay here again.

I cannot say enough good things about this stay. Room was large, clean and nicely updated. The view we had was stunning. Check in and out was seamless. The staff at the hotel, the spa and the restaurant were all so friendly. The salt water pool and hot tub were just icing on the cake.

We just needed a place to stay for the night, but this ended up being a lovely retreat; hot tub, steam room, amazing dinner and a full breakfast the next morning. Much more than we expected for the money and very clean and nicely decorated. Room had everything we needed.

I was in Perth for a medical appointment. I have stayed at the Best Western in Perth many times. The rooms are great, the restaurant is amazing and the spa amenities are top notch. Also, the hotel is within walking distance to everything in lovely Perth

The sauna, hot tub, pool is totally awesome Easily walked the block or 2 to the downtown area and then around the block to another street of shops*Coffee shops, Galleries, Antiques, Pubs …Many, Many original buildings from many years past. Beautiful Town

I had a terrible experience at this hotel! I was given a room which had a very loud noise and even vibrated the wall. I went to the lobby and asked to be moved, and the fellow said there was no other rooms available. I said there are not many cars on the lot and couldn't possibly be full. He said he would call the acting manager and see what could be done and he would call me in my room. He never called so I went to the lobby again and he said he spoke to the manager and they could not change rooms. I would have left, but I can't drive after dark. In the morning the acting manager was on and he said they have always had issues with that room because it's above the kitchen and it's the fan that makes all the noise, they know this and they still put people in it. He also said the fellow on the desk never called him, and he should have changed my room as the hotel was not full. He said he would credit me 20,000 points and that would equal $200 on my next stay at any best Western. When he asked if I was satisfied with that I said yes. When the manager got back after a few days from holidays, she change the credit to 2000 which is equal to $20 Dollars on my next day. She also said he never said that which was again not true. It's too bad, it's a nice hotel and I had planned to visit it often on my getaways. They need to get a better manager.

Love this Best Western, the pool and hot tub are always clean and warm. Breakfast food is always good and the service is excellent. Also used the gym everyday which is clean and spacious. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I have been the grateful recipient of spa treatments in many places but this experience was, by far, the most wonderful. My daughter and I experienced the comprehensive facial (two add ons) then the wrap followed by a full body deep tissue massage. There was not a drop of cortisol left in my body. It is a short one-hour drive from Ottawa then lunch at Gather restaurant. I will be back - many times!

Beautiful charming Hotel, wonderful staff, has everything you need in one hotel. Worth every penny!! Excellent food and atmosphere very warm and comfortable. Has a pool, hot tub, sauna and Spa. Great place for a get away to enjoy , you will love it!

Great rooms, great clean lobby, great front desk service . Pool and grounds were clean and plenty of parking for motorcycles. There were wedding at both hotels and neither of them interrupted our stay. We would recommend to anyone.

High priced rate for a room with hard pillows and a lumpy bed. Could hear the neighbouring washroom and all noise or traffic in the hallway. Great parking and good breakfast, though. One waitress had to seat guests, bus tables, take orders, and serve a fully packed breakfast room. Kitchen staff worked quickly and was impressive. Olive was a very good waitress under tremendous pressure.

Really liked that there was no carpet in our room. We were a drop in guest and able to get a room. This was a Sunday night. Might not be the sane during the week. Good location for touring the area. We actually ended up spending 2 nights. Will stay there again if in the area.

Fabulous location, amenities and rooms. I would highly recommend a visit and stay there. It's one of the nicest hotels I've ever been to and by far has the best setting of any hotel I've ever stayed at. An absolutely wonderful all-around experience.

The town of Perth is lovely at any time of year, the shops and restaurants are very good! The Parkside offers amazing services for a small town hotel, the park-side location is lovely and provides walking access to most shops and services. The on-site restaurant, The Locks, has really upped their game recently and we thoroughly enjoy dining there.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Perth. Literally steps away from shopping, dining and entertainment. Full free breakfast included! Warm and friendly staff! Excellent stay and value. Will come again and again!

Parkside Inn and SPA went over the top in every way - perfect place to stay, have breakfast, get your hair done, conference spaces to gather, amazing proximity to Stewart Park and the beautiful views. Having the bride and groom stay at the White House was truly stunning!!

We stay at this hotel a couple of times a year purely for leisure purposes. Wonderful place to stay - beautiful hotel, great service and very nice staff. The Locks restaurant is terrific. The food is a foodie's dream.

We had a wonderful time. The room was very clean. The staff also so accommodating. We have been there before and always look forward to our stay. The hotel is situated at the edge of Stewart Park which is so beautiful. Try it…you will like it! Thank you to a great staff!!

All members of my family were well accommodated and happy with the hotel experience. Parking was completely adequate and satisfactory. Hot breakfast was quickly served by friendly and courteous staff. Desk staff were very helpful and quick to respond to our special requests.

Rooms were nice and spacious. Comfortable beds and big bathroom. Tub in bathroom has jets. Great pedicure experience at on site spa. Food at the locks was excellent! Enjoyed the big jet in the swimming pool, which allows you go float across the pool.

A fabulous Hotel next to the park and downtown. Most picturesque. The Restaurant is excellent for breakfast lunch and supper. The staff are most helpful and always pleasant and willing to go that extra mile. We loved the pool, hot tub and steam room. The facility also has a Spa and Hair Salon.

This hotel is extremely well kept. The restaurant is excellent, good food and beautiful setting. Great location close to many shops and restaurants. Park side Spa in the hotel is first class. Suggest to book ahead of arrival.

A family Reunion Group of 13 of us stayed at the hotel. The property was clean, comfortable and newly renovated. Service was impeccable and the facilities were great. The Locks Restaurant, attached to the Hotel, was first rate. The restaurant was well laid out, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The food was very tasty and well prepared. Service was excellent.

Stopped here for a business trip and the hotel exceeded all expectations, comfortable large rooms with all amenities included. Will definitely recommend this one over all Perth hotels. Great caring staff and nice stay!

Beautiful place, just stayed for 1 night for a wedding and it was lovely, close to lots of restaurants and shops. It's a little pricey but what isn't these days. Would definitely stay again. The gentleman at reception was lovely and very helpful to get us in a little early to get ready for the wedding we went to.

We visit Perth about every year or so, and this Best Western has been our 'go to' Hotel for quite some time. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms in a Hotel with beautiful Stanley Park in it's backyard, as well as being located in the heart of town. Our server at breakfast both mornings was rushed off her feet, but did a great job and always had a smile on her face. My bride and I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts both mornings. It was a perfect start to our day. The on-site Restaurant "The Locks" is also excellent, but I'll review it under 'Perth Restaurants.'

First time staying at this hotel and simply enjoyed it. The rooms are clean and beautiful. Friendly staff. Great food, atmosphere and service at the restaurant. Great location. Only disappointment is there was no availability for a massage at the spa.

Location was great so was the hotel. We visited during the holiday weekend and everything was perfect... well, almost! The head waitress at the restaurant where we had our breakfast was super rude if not borderline racist.

This is a beautiful hotel, high class in every way. Everyone was very helpful if needed. It truly felt like home. Will certainly be back for sure. Nice treat for the family to come together and relax and swim!

Gorgeous facility located within walking distance to all shops, pubs and restaurants. The Spa is amazing! The staff at the Best Western and Spa are fantastic; professional, kind and knowledgeable. Looking forward to coming again next year!

I've stayed at this hotel for years and have no complaints at all about it's cleanliness, location, amenities, cost, etc.. It boarders Stewart Park which is lovely to walk in warmer months, close to downtown and restaurants and the hotel itself is very nice. The rooms are very well appointed, stocked and clean. The fridge is a great size for a hotel and can accommodate quite a bit. My only complaint is the breakfast which you can include in your reservation. It isn't worth the extra cost in my opinion. They've eliminated the buffet which makes sense due to waste but serve the same items but you order them. Eggs are not ‘scrambled' they are those mystery restaurant eggs, hash browns are stale and a bit cold, etc, etc. For less you can enjoy a great breakfast at other spots close by. My hope is that they serve an actual hot breakfast and open the restaurant to the public-otherwise a wonderful little gem of a hotel.

We booked our stay September 2022. We only stayed one night as we were just passing through, but we will be back! The rooms were clean, the bed was comfy. We got a room overlooking the park and it was very pretty and relaxing. We loved that it came with breakfast that was served (not a buffet). Nice view from the dining room windows and it was nice to go for a walk on the trail behind the hotel which also led to the downtown core. Very nice!

A very clean, bright, well located hotel in Perth, Ontario. The staff were all friendly, professional and courteous. The rooms were bright and welcoming. The surrounding area is very pretty. Lots of places to walk and eat.

The Hot tub was broken which can happen but we were not told that the pool heater was also broken. We found this out after changing into bathing suits and stepping into the very cold water of the pool.

Right downtown Perth with many restaurants, museums, shops, antiques, etc. Great location and food. Met many interesting people and had some good meals at the restaurants. Went to a few museums and sat in the park to enjoy the fall weather.

The town is beautiful and the hotel is lovely. Just one disappointment people should know. We went to enjoy kayaking and the kayak company website said they are open everyday but apparently not in September. Also many restaurants in town are closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday in September.

I got terrible sleep from other wedding groups coming back drunk and partying loudly in the halls. The staff was sympathetic, but that did not help my night's sleep and it did not lower my bill, which was on the expensive side given the quality of the stay.

This property exceed what I expect from Best Western. Very nice and breakfast in morning is a full service in the restaurant. Hotel is luxurious and upscale. Located in the middle of Perth making this perfect for walking everywhere.

Enjoyed the spacious room, quiet corner/bed room. Had the pool / hot tub to myself at 7-7:30pm. Disappointed that the Locks restaurant was unavailable since I stayed over on a Wednesday night. However, I went to the Rocky River Cafe, right next door.

We recently stayed at this hotel for two days. Impressed with the location as it is just off the main downtown area. Close to attractions and restaurants. Perth Golf course is a two minute drive. The hotel is clean and has very nice amenities. Parking lot is a bit small but we always had a spot. Restaurant was very nice and our meal was good. Breakfast was a selection of about 6 items and was served fast and hot.

A ‘posher' option for family stop-over in Perth. Clean rooms, lovely restaurant hall and there's a pool too. Easy parking, WiFi, helpful desk staff. My room did have a very loud air conditioner fan, but after assistance over the phone luckily we could turn it off. The hotel is also right next to a little laundry place if you are with kids and need to do a quick load.

We attended the Best Western Parkside Spa in Perth for our daughter's wedding. A number of family and friends all attended and stayed at BW and all commented the rooms were comfortable, service great, restaurant and grounds were all wonderful. Overall a great experience and highly recommend it for a wedding venue.

I had a wonderful stay at the Best Western in Perth, Ontario. I was visiting my great aunt at the Lanark Lodge as my cousin and her granddaughters were in town for the visit. We had an amazing dinner at the restaurant at Best Western and I had a delicious breakfast before visiting Ottawa for the day.

Hotel was very clean and updated. Rooms were larger than normal hotel rooms. Pool was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant had good food and a lovely atmosphere. We would definitely go back.

Clean and friendly. Bring your own usb hub. Breakfast was excellent but service slow (short staffed but probably a sign of the times). Great location;could walk to everything. I would come back again.

Our "first trip" since Covid19. We had a very pleasant stay here. Our suite is very large. Everything met our expectation. Only issue (not the hotel's fault) we had was the people directly above our room were making a lot of noise even after mid night. We reported the problem to the front desk, and the staff was understanding, and dealt with the issue immediately.

Very clean and beautiful room. Esther at the front desk is amazing. She welcomed us with a big huge smile, accommodated my requests and every time we passed in front of her desk, she was smiling back at us. Even the check out the next day was simple and again, with a big huge smile.

This two-night stay was a great getaway - after being home for so long. This particular location was walking distance to the old downtown area. Lots to see. The hotel backs onto a beautiful park. We booked a King Suite - Room 201. It was fabulous. Very large, 2 bathrooms. The ensuite has a jetted tub and the second has a shower. It's a corner room with great park views. Full sized frig - great for those freezer pacs used in our cooler. The breakfast room is full serve, no buffet. The staff here, and at the front desk, are great. The entire building is spotless.

The Best Western hotel was exemplary and the surroundings were breathtaking. The personnel were extremally polite and helpful. The various surrounding parks were a delight to take-in. The walking trails were clean and romantic.

Great location with shopping and restaurants close by within walking distance. On site restaurant provides great breakfast and The Locks Restaurant has a selection of dinner offerings to suit every taste and budget. Looking forward to our next stay.

Great hotel in a beautiful location. The hotel overlooks a lovely park. A close walk to the shops and restaurants of Heritage Perth.The on-site restaurant is very good. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and courteous.

We stayed one night. It was an average stay but wouldn't pay that much for this stay or hotel. Noise can be heard between rooms and when people are in hallway. The pillows were extremely uncomfortable, neither soft or hard option were ok compared to similar hotel stays. Neither of us had a good sleep. Breakfast was average, better than most hotel breakfast but not the best. The waitress forgot basic things like water, they either need more staff or training. Location is great but that's probably why the price is so high, you're stuck with no other option unless you do airbnb.

CLEAN! Rooms are very well maintained as is the entire hotel. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. We brought our electric bicycles and we permitted to keep them in our room. We have been to this hotel before and will be back! Highly recommended!!

I have stayed here before and it is welcoming, classy in an unassuming way allowing for ease of comfort and access to amenities including a spa. The park right outside the back is lovely, peaceful. Access to downtown - right out the door - good shops and lovely architecture and history all around you. And importantly clean rooms with amazingly comfortable beds!

Ivy was wonderful - quiet, gentle and pleasant. I have pretty summer toes. The spa was peaceful and serene. The colour choices were perfect. Booking by phone made it possible to have both pedis at the same time. Next time I will ask for the dbl room station instead of the bank of seats.

Nothing really bad to say. Excellent staff, amazing views, clean updated rooms, good amenities gym, hot tub,pool and steam room! and fast internet. Only negative is parking lot can be pretty busy and the spots are not very big .

Located in Perth which is a beautiful little town. Every restaurant in Perth is amazing. This hotel is very clean and stylish. Our room was amazing and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was great and we especially enjoyed our view from our balcony.

Enjoyed our stay. When in Perth we always stay there. Perfect location in town with the Stewart Park being right next to it. Had a great day at the Maples Festival. Would not only recommend this hotel but will continue to stay there when in Perth.

This is a favourite place to stay when travelling to and from Ottawa. A surprising hotel in a picturesque town. Fabulous restaurant, clean spacious rooms. We love the area and the drive on the old highway. Its a great way to get to Ottawa .

The hot tub was actually hot, the bed was really comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was a sit down full service with choice of dining room or lounge, restaurant staff wore masks which I was grateful for, the steam room was as a nice addition and just all around clean and elegant. Absolutely would recommend to anyone visiting Perth. Location is also perfect!

Weekend shared with my sister (we had seperate rooms) and we both agree, it was an incredible Spa/Pampering weekend. Shopping in Perth is also such a pleasure, something for everyone. We will be doing this again!

Be aware of packages as they have hidden pricing. Was not told about the extra spa charge on our hotel bill....told us nothing is free. Thanks for the reminder...oh ...and we let you in an hour before check in....oh big deal...thanks eh!

Stayed here recently for 2 nights. Perth is an incredibly delightful town on the Tay River. It is quaint, pristine (especially now with its glistening snow cover) with gorgeous green space and rolling hills. It seems that this hotel is built to fit in...it is on the park, with access, featuring a beautiful dining room and covered outdoor rotunda all overlooking the rolling parkland and flowing river streams. Cannot wait to see this place in the other seasons as well. Staff are friendly. Rooms are very nice and beds are super comfy. I would have given 5 stars (and may the next time, after COVID), except for a couple small things. Breakfast choices are made at checkin and ours was to include fruit. The first morning...no fruit. Upon letting the front desk know, this was remedied the second morning. The other issue...and I realize it is winter...but when you enter the room (ours anyway), there was a small mat for our boots...set away from the door. We walked through the area (past the entrance door) from the bed area to the bath on the soiled floor. This would not be such a problem in other seasons. Perhaps a large mat at the door just inside the room would remedy that. But truly, we have stayed in many accommodations, including other BWs...this is the best for us...and we will stay again.

Our first trip with a new puppy to visit family. The floors in our room were tiled which gave us complete piece of mind. Thankfully our pup was good and we enjoyed a couple quick walks on the quiet local streets. A spacious room for her to wander around in too.

We often are in the Perth area visiting family and the Best Western is our favourite place to stay. They have great staff, nice rooms, a spa in the basement and a good restaurant. It is always clean and is right downtown. Steps to good restaurants and shops.

A wonderful escape! Rooms are big, clean and have a microwave and mini fridge. The pool and hot tub are fabulous! The spa is wonderful and makes it so you don't have to leave the hotel. The Locks restaurant is really good. Stewart Park which is beside the hotel is stunning. The town of Perth is well worth a visit and is walkable from the hotel.

Not what we expected - so much better!! Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, good breakfast but note loud barking dog even though our floor was not supposed to have pets. This was annoying. We did not complain as we were able to sleep but mentioned to staff next day in passing.

This is the place to stay when in the area. This is in walking distance to the heart of Perth. The hotel, is very clean and clearly has been updated. The hotel room, was spacious and had laminate flooring instead of carpet. The nice bonus was that the room had a jetted bath tub. We personally loved this. Thankfully, I had put on the jets early while I was filling the tub, as the jets are aggressive/powerful, *** Don't fill the tub all the way ** Although we loved the jets they are very loud, so not too relaxing per se. Its a great feature, the tub is deep and perfect for a great soak, plus the jets are low so it actually hits the body. Unfortunately due to covid, at the time we went the spa services weren't available. We're looking forward to coming back and utilizing them next time. Check in and out was smooth and staff were friendly. They helped me out in a pinch that night. I had my phone charger but not a the plug. Thankfully they had one at the front desk I was able to borrow. On that note, I wished they had USB ports... Overall this is a fantastic hotel, and we can't wait to get back here and get the full experience of the spa.

We have been in a lot of hotels over the years and stayed in a lot of suite's, we have never been in one this large. Full dinning room, kitchenette, living room, large master bedroom with ensuite & another bathroom off the kitchen. Overall the stay was really lovely, we used the pool and really enjoyed our room. Would absolutely stay here again. A+

Great hotel. Spotless with excellent Covid19 protocols in place - staff was vigilant but not obtrusive. Pool and gym were clean and well managed. Excellent area restaurants outside the hotel Was not impressed with the restaurant associated with the hotel, however, but I understood it is not managed by Best Western.

The location in Perth is absolutely ideal (walking distance to everything) and it backs on to a large park on the bank of the Tay River. The hotel decor is well appointed and the dining areas are so appealing and lovely. The service was excellent and everyone was helpful. Our room was large with nice decor, carpet-free flooring, crisp/clean duvet-type bedcovers, a large TV, desk, chairs, minifridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The beds and pillows were ultra-comfortable. The room and bathroom were spotless; even the shower/tub was perfect.

Our second time staying here while we visit family in Perth. Spent 4 glorious nights with no issues. Perfect location for walking into town. The gym was open and functional which was a nice change as the same can't be said for some of the other BW's due to Covid.

I have travelled the world....this has been the greatest experience I had in a long time. People are really working as a team. The Locks restaurant is a true culinary experience (bravo). Started my day with a great relaxing massage at the Spa. Would love to go back soon...

We had a great experience at Perth Best Western. Beautiful setting right beside the park. Perth is a gorgeous little town. We were getting married and it was the perfect spot for before and after. We had mani/pedis, our hair done, excellent services, I had so many compliments about my hair from friends and family at the wedding. Rooms were clean and comfortable, spacious. Overall amazing experience!

Wonderful place to stay. Perth is cute small town Ontario. Loved our little getaway. Hotel had all we needed except Gluten free breakfast. The restaurant for supper was excellent lots of GF selections

Very happy with our stay at the hotel, the room was very nice and the view of the park was beautiful. Hotel was overall very clean and quiet. Excellent location for walking around town and doing some shopping. Will defiantly stay again.

Stayed here last Friday night after a day of hiking in the area. We had a big king size room. Very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff at both check-in and check-out were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was included in the room rate. Did not use any of the hotel amenities other then the restaurant (for dinner), which I will review separately.

This hotel is very centrally located and offers the upscale traveler a very comfortable and affordable place to enjoy Perth. We have stayed here many times and have always enjoyed our stay . You won't be disappointed.

I was attending a wedding nearby and decided to book here. VERY satisfied with my decision. Bd was comfortable, rooms were clean and that the water pressure was excellent! Breakfast vouchers for the lounge were also included and despite the limited options, it did the trick!

This hotel was very clean and well appointed. Updated with lovely décor. The restaurant was amazing and the staff was very very attentive. They even moved our table directly in front of the fireplace creating a very romantic. There is a gorgeous park adjacent to the hotel which is absolutely stunning for walks. The spa is lovely next to Lou a room where you can get a private booking for the hot tub and pool due to covid restrictions. My massage was wonderful however my husband's was satisfactory.Overall I would recommendThis hotel in the very quaint village of PerthYet for romantic walks historical buildings and a lovely restaurant experience

I've stayed here several times over the years and I have never experienced a problem. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are always clean. Lots of parking available. Lovely restaurant downstairs which has some great food. I have eaten there several times now for dinner. Great location. We will be back.

Although the staff was very accommodating when we asked last minute to extend our stay twice, the room was very nice but due to covid we didnt get room cleaning or restocking during our stay. The complimentary breakfast isnt worth looking into, we has asked for an extra portion on sausage for breakfast and were charged for it, not sure if you can order juice AND coffee without being charged exrea or not, to me for the cost you pay for one of the suites it seem pretty petty, I highly recommend going to Penny's Place, the food is excellent... Overall the stay was pleasant and would stay there again

Travel anywhere during the pandemic, takes one into the unknown - this hotel is a beautiful building in a great location within walking distance of Perth downtown. Reception was friendly and efficient and the hotel had sanitizing stations on every floor outside the elevators, as well as inside the elevator itself. The room itself was large and clean but not luxurious. The spa tub was the best part of the room stay! At the end of the day while I enjoyed the hotel itself, I felt it was overpriced for a mid week, one night stay. The breakfast offered in the morning was good.

We have stayed here before. Enjoy the location and the hotel. Love the town the staff are always friendly. Nice quiet location probably won't see you again this year. 6 hour drive to get there. Looking forward to seeing you next year

This is a top notch hotel, which I compare to a Gran Bahia resort. The room was spotless and well designed with very comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom included an abundance of towels, toiletries and had a spa bathtub which I enjoyed. The Kitchen Staff were amazing, with a special thanks to Chef Ryan and Sean for creating a few special meals for me due to my diet restrictions. The location is excellent as it is beside Stewart Park, a wonderful area to walk, sit in nature, take pictures etc. We were easily able to walk around all the shops as it is so close.

A couples reunion and it was great. Excellent service,suites, dining and within walking distance to everything downtown Perth. The rooms were huge with frig and microwave. We all had a swim in the well maintained pool and hot tub. The free breakfast was excellent with healthy choices and good coffee!

The staff (too few of them) tried hard, although the fellow at Reception seemed to think we were interlopers trying to get away from the heat. Our room was fine, though the noise of the a/c and something on the roof (we stayed on the top floor) made sleep difficult. The bath tub lacks a non-slip rubber mat; as a result, I just missed a very bad fall. The makeshift breakfast arrangements resulted in cold food, missing food and poor service after long-lineups. PPE was lackadaisical.

This hotel was a great getaway for couple days with the family I would definitely go again as well as few issues we had were handled very well can't remember all the staff at front desks names but I few I do remember that made the experience great at front desk were Sam, Grace, and Chloe

Just returned from a 2 nite-stay at this lovely hotel. Must give a shout-out to Esther at the front desk, check-in. She is so pleasant,polite and helpful. Our room was spacious and extremely clean. The only downside was the main floor location near the kitchen. The hallway was noisy with foot traffic and slamming doors. Bonuses were: A hot breakfast, parking and wifi no extra charge. Great location within a park setting. Just park the car and walk the town. Will definitely stay again.

We had a lovely overnight getaway. The spa was relaxing, the pedicure - excellent. We ate at the Locks restaurant, wonderful food and good entertainment. I sang along. Hotel room was clean and comfortable. Service was great. Location is great - tucked away next to the park but very close to pubs, restaurants, shopping.

This hotel's airy modern architecture goes really well with the cheerful and welcoming staff. The breakfast room is almost like being outdoors; you can have dinner on the patio, and many rooms have a view of the park and river adjacent to it. The location is ideal-just a short walk to the main street. There is a really good safety policy during covid regarding the pool-three rooms at a time can sign up for the same session, so very few, if any, other people are in the pool with you. Great hot tub. I have stayed at many hotels in my lifetime and this is one of my favourites!

We had a lovely stay and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location was very picturesque and peaceful. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The whirlpool tub was wonderful to soak in after a long drive.

Perfect location right on Stewart Park. Rooms were clean and up to date. Very friendly staff, but definitely missing some people, namely in the breakfast dining area. I'm guessing since new Covid rules have been put in place, the staff that once managed the buffet ( 2 employees who were practically running) are now seating guests, taking orders, serving food, clearing tables. We even had the chef come to help out by taking our breakfast order, which we had wrote down on the back of the menu. I understand these are recent ajustements the hotel has had to make due to Covid, but realize, if you are coming down for breakfast, at 9:00 on a Friday morning, the wait will be long. Come on Best Western, help you own staff.

The hotel backs onto Stewart Park, is across the street from Code's Mill, and is within easy walking distance of the main shopping and dining strips. The room had a lovely view of the pond and large willow trees at the water's edge. Clean, spacious room with a bar fridge and microwave, and a Keurig coffee station.

We often go to historic places, such as Perth. I recently included Perth in my novel entitled A Tangled Triangle (available on Amazon). We were in town to drop off a copy of the novel to the Mayor of Perth and decided to stay over. This hotel was amazing, as is the town of Perth. Great and friendly staff, scenic and historical architecture and friendly people. A must see for all!

Fabulous getaway to Perth for a Post COVID sisters getaway. We chose the stay and play golf package which was great value for the money. Golfed 2 days and treated ourselves to the spa one day. Hotel staff are friendly, courteous and go out of their way to accommodate your requests. Golfed at Perth and Mapleview. Both courses were in great shape. Perth is such a pretty town. Plenty of really good restaurants, nice shops and a beautiful park in the middle of town.

Great stay. Fantastic breakfast and serving staff during breakfast as well. First breakfast since lockdown ended, and they knocked it out of the park. The real MVP of this stay was Agatha at check in. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the hotel, attentive to my needs as a guest, and exceptionally helpful in making my stay one to remember. As a former hotel worker at 5 star property in Toronto, I was very impressed by Agatha's customer service skills and her demeanour. Way to go Agatha! You're the best!

Everything was excellent from hotel, location, staff and room! Especially enjoyed the beautiful view from balcony, whirlpool tub, excellent sleep and very accommodating front desk for safely storing our bikes!

This hotel looks amazing from the outside & the inside common areas but our room seemed like an upgrade that was executed on a budget. Overly soft bed that squeaked loudly with every move. While they had a lamp between the beds with outlets built in, there were no USB ports when they could easily have upgraded this item for the added/modern convenience. In my opinion, over-priced for what you get but a decent place if you need a hotel in beautiful Perth.

Love this place. We pay a little more than we do when we go on a two week trip and are staying at hotels every night. But this is our go to place for relaxation when we want to get away just to have some time to ourselves. COVID is definitely a downer because we have always enjoyed the included breakfast with great service in the mornings as well as the sauna, pool and whirlpool. The proximity to many great restaurants and bars and the amazing historical park right next door, the Saturday market, Topshot Distillery, unique boutiques, give us many activities to choose from.

I usually love this hotel but this time was not up to par. I think there could be a better way to compensate for lack service due to Covid. 5$ Tim Horton card for breakfast is an insult and brings the quality way down!

We decided to break our trip down to a Kingston area cottage up with a night stay in Perth. We were given a park facing room on the 4th floor and the view was stunning. The room itself was very spacious and unbelievably clean. No carpets to be seen (a huge bonus), comfortable king size bed and a jacuzzi type tub. Not sure if this is standard because we certainly didn't request it. Honestly our only complaint was the lack of tv stations - which really isn't an issue other then the fact that we couldn't do much under covid restrictions - so would have like to have a better selection of stations. We live in Ottawa so really no need to stay in Perth that often but we will definitely be returning when covid restrictions ease to see what else the hotel has to offer. With the restaurant currently closed, your included breakfast is a $5 gift card per person to either McDonalds or Tim Hortons

I booked a room advertised as whirlpool with king bed It was a bathtub with 4 jets. The tub was 2 feet wide and 2 feet deep. I tried to get a room that was better but nothing available. No recognition as diamond select member

we decided to just get away and had never been to Perth for an overnight and we booked and took a chance and all we can say is WOW! the stunning dinning room, the most awesome pool! it was such a safe little bubble, we couldn't have been more happy! and then to end the overnight with massages just as we checked out and rode off into the sunset totally blessed and thankful

This is a lovely hotel with all the amenities! Good service, nice bar and lounge (sort of) there was only one thing missing... netflix. Invest in Smart TV's so that your guests want to stay longer and can feel relaxed.

Great little getaway for our family looking for a safe experience to shake things up during the pandemic. The staff were so kind and the protocols in place made us feel safe. The pool was great and we would do this again!

This hotel is in our favorite town near Ottawa. During the last 11 months of the Covid pandemic . We come here to eat, to shop, and to walk. Our favorite restaurant for onion rings..O'Reilly's, our favorite dinner restaurant-Locks and our favorite cheese shop the Perth Cheese Shop and our favorite coffee shop Horth folk coffee. A wonderful escape from Ottawa.

This past Friday night my daughter and I had our first visit to the Best Western inn and Parkside spa. We had a relaxing pedicure from Taylor and Michaela. They were professional and very pleasant as they pampered our feet. The massage they gave before applying the polish was delightful. After our treatment we had a dinner at the Locks Restaurant. The food was delicious and the chef was accommodating to our mix and match requests. An epicurean delight. We finished our getaway with a private swim in the pool and jacuzzi. Perfectly relaxed we had a wonderful sleep in our park view room. The Covid measures and cleanliness was totally reassuring. Thank you for a spa-ctacular getaway! Becky and Caitlin

Wonderful experience. Great night with excellent service, great food and generally professional fabulous people. We were taken care of so well it was almost like being with family. Would go back anytime!

During this crappy year of 2020, I just had to get out of the house and drove a whole ten minutes to stay at this hotel. We splurged and got the King Suite which was still extremely affordable and you get two washrooms! We had a kitchenette, separate bedroom and living room and enough room to practice yoga right in the suite! We used the spa for pedicures and massages, booked private time in the hot tub and pool (one benefit of Covid is using that area in private), and ate delicious meals at the Locks restaurant in the hotel. It was so worth it and I highly recommend them. We may make this a yearly staycation.

Last week I decided to take time out for myself and not let the stresses of covid take feeling good away from me. Not being able to travel for a year, one deserves to be spoiled. So, on Wednesday I was treated to a very indulging facial from April. Thanks so much April for giving this old face of mine some life and a glow. I came away refreshed and rejuvenated. Thanks to Allen for making me years younger with a full head of foils and a sexy hairstyle. Hey this old gal is feeling younger thanks to you. My husband took a second look and the evening was great. Hats off. So, I would like to say to all those out there, give yourself a break. Kick your feet up and forget those stressful days of covid. Rejuvenate. Don't let Covid bring you down. Make the best of 2020. Cheers ! Add a glass of wine to that. Smiles.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and really nice. The full breakfast was good and hot and we were able to take them back to our room. The location is great, close to everything and the spa and pool were wonderful as well.

We live nearby but we've come here many times as a couples' getaway overnight and/or for couples' pedicures with wine and cheese. Due to COVID, this time wine and cheese would have to be taken at the bar but we still had a great relaxing bonding time at the spa. Thank you for the great safe service!

Husband is in Perth for several weeks for a project and I tagged along to get a change of scenery . Hotel is clean , comfortable and very friendly helpful reception staff . Everyone is masked , hand sanitizer at all touch points with clear instructions on use etc . Cleaning staff always out freshening you high contact areas . In property hotel offers great food options for dine in or take away to your room. Breakfast is included and can also be ordered to take to your room . Felt very comfortable staying here during these stressful times of Covid.

The staff are always so cheerful and most helpful,the rooms are clean I always get a good nights sleep because I travel alone even if I must travel an hour from this hotel to do bussiness ,I stay here because it's safe

Our stay at this hotel was top notch from start to finish with an upgrade to a parkview room which is a must if staying here, the views were spectacular! Value of stay was excellent as it included parking and full breakfast. Our room was spotless top to bottom and smelled so clean and fresh when we walked in to it.

Recently visited Perth for a quick getaway after we decided to cancel Ottawa in light of COVID concerns. This property was an excellent choice. We were very pleased with the COVID protocols in place, and every staff member that we interacted with was attentive and helpful. Hotel location was perfect for walking the downtown area. Our room was on the top floor at the front of the hotel, and one of the cleanest hotel rooms that we have ever experienced. For that matter, the entire property was pristine. We did not use the spa, but we did visit the restaurant for food and drink and it was excellent as well. Absolutely no hesitation recommending this property. We would definitely return.

Our 1 night stay was fantastic! As I walked into the front lobby to check in the first thing that Aggie the front desk agent did was to compliment me about my hair. She was personable and an absolute delight after a 3 1/2 hour car ride. She took time to explain the amenities of the hotel and what was and wasn't open due to COVID. There were no pool times available for the duration of our stay and she followed up with us letting us know of cancellations so the kids could enjoy swim time. She definitely went the extra mile and made our stay fabulous. The hotel is modern and clean. The restaurant and food are top quality and our mini stay was quite enjoyable!

You feel instantly spoiled when you walk through the entrance. Staff is friendly and responsive. I loved all of my spa treatments - felt the stress drain out of me - can't say enough about this gorgeous hotel. Its the perfect place to get away during COVID - best "staycation" I've ever had!

I stayed at the Best western Perth with my kiddies. We loved our stay. Close to everything. Staff were fantastic. Amenities were great, loved the pool area. We didn't eat at the restaurant BUT it looked beautiful. Can't wait to visit again. Thank you!

We had a very large corner king suite. The bed was pretty comfortable and we were given a voucher for breakfast at a nearby restaurant, so all in all, I'd have to say our night was quite good. The lady at the front desk, Aggie, was really helpful, and pleasant staff always improves a hotel stay. As with most hotels, the air conditioner was a bit loud, but we'd stay there again.

We live in Ottawa and wanted a one night break. Perth is less than an hour away. Friends had recommended this hotel.. We are very happy to have stayed here. The safety protocols are well in place. Our room was immaculately clean and very large. The air conditioning worked very well, the windows were well sealed so it was very very quiet for a great nights sleep. We loved being able to park our car and then walk everywhere. GREAT location. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming.

The property is beautiful well maintained clean and picturesque. The staff take care of the inside and out side . We were a bit concerned with the Covid-19 protocols but when we checked in were happy with the self check in and really contact less set up. The staff were all extremely friendly and anxious to please.

My complaint with this hotel is the room rate includes breakfast. I understand with Co-Vid there would be a modified breakfast. But when we got here , not before, we were told there was no breakfast. Their restaurant isnt opening till noon. When I asked why we were still billed full rate they said we were being given $10 gift card for Tim Hortons. WOW 10 whole dollars. That doesnt buy much for 2 people at Timmies. Very poor compensation.

We stayed Monday and Tuesday night at the beginning of July. Having booked this Hotel numerous times in the past, we knew what to expect - clean rooms and building, friendly staff and it's situated close to everything. Stewart Park is out the back door. Because of Covid 19 the excellent breakfast was not available and the on-site restaurant was closed. In fact very few eateries were open on Monday. The staff are very aware of the coronavirus threat and have taken all the necessary precautions.

I had never been to Perth before and went there for work this past week. I wasn't sure where u was going f to stay as it was a very last minute trip and booked at the Beat Western in Perth. I had never stayed at a Beat Western before. It was a very charming hotel. The room were nice and good amenities. The best part of the hotel was how amazingly friendly and welcoming EVERY staff member I encountered was. The only negative was I could t rent a movie in my hotel room. Other than that, I'll be back the next time I work in the area!

We were in Perth for a wedding. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We had lunch at the restaurant which was very modern and food was excellent as was the service. The staff gave me directions and were very helpful. Next day we had a good breakfast and check out was quick and easy. I would highly recommend staying here.

an average room with a high price... noisy as we were across from the kitchen and the rooms were not sound proof... now robes were left for us to feel the spa experience... not spa serves available two weeks in advance... the pool was wonderful

Stayed in the White House, nice large room with a jacuzzi, and a view of the park and river. Very noisy heating system that affected sleep, and a shower head that needs to be replaced; terrible. Staff were very pleasant, breakfast was good as was the lady who looked after the dining area when we ate there. Would not recommend in the winter but the summer would be good as there is a balcony that wraps around the front and side so that you could sit outside and enjoy thee scenery.

This hotel went above and beyond to make our stay the best ever. This is the 2nd time in 4 years we used the hotel. We also were here 4 1/2 years ago for our 1st daughter's wedding. The staff and service is wonderful!!

Our family of 10 (6 adults and 4 children) had a wonderful visit to Perth ON with a stay at the Perth Parkside Inn and Spa. The hotel was ideal for our family with two wonderful rooms located with a corner vestibule to allow for children to visit freely with their cousins in the next room. The pool and hot tub were fabulous with long hours. We would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Great location and hotel was extremely clean and nice. Suite was beautiful and perfect size. Didn't feel claustrophobic as with other rooms we've stayed at. Pool was quiet when we were there and our kids loved it. We were able to sit in the adjoining hot tub while they played in the pool beside us. Great!!

We were so looking forward to alittle getaway for our 16th wedding anniversary. Despite reviewing and booking the package on the phone with both a hotel and a spa representative, on arrival we were told "oh no, you have to pay $180 for the $200 credit to the spa" Despite going over the advertisement on the website and clarification with both sets of staff, I left feeling stupid and taken advantage of . Spoiled my entire stay... hard to relax and enjoy when you feel duped!

Very nicely built hotel. It has the potential to be a very nice hotel, but cleanliness needs to be improved. The pool showed a lack of maintenance, and the cloth napkins need to be either spotless or gone all together. Was charged an extra $40 for late checkout, which is usually a free perk for best western members. They were quick to charge my credit card, but forgot to keep the key card active. All and all, was not impressed. They either need to step it up, or drop their prices.

Great place to stay, close to Perth's heritage downtown and a beautiful park next door. Spa was exceptional as was the pool. Very clean and comfortable with a very welcoming staff. Will definitely stay there the next time we're in the Perth area.

We had a great stay at the Perth Parkside Inn. The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool and hot tub were wonderful. We had stayed at the Inn previously but it was the first time for our friends who thoroughly enjoyed their stay. Our only disappointment was that the food (dinner and breakfast) was cold. This is something that can be easily fixed.

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip in November 2019. The hotel is quite large and actually holds a spa and can also host conferences, so it is quite upscale. I did not actually stay in the hotel itself however, they have an offshoot building called The White House which they house guest in when the hotel itself is full. The White House is a legacy home which has been retrofitted into hotel rooms. I believe I stayed in a newer part but there are several rooms that are in the home itself. some relics from when the home was owned by a private family are scattered about the hallways. The room itself is very pleasant and I enjoyed staying there. There is a fair amount of room for clothing storage and a small desk to be used for work. The bed was very comfortable and I slept quite well during my visit. The bathroom is very large and has a jacuzzi tub in it. It should be noted that the white house does not appear to have handicap accessible entries. As mentioned earlier, the hotel is very impressive. All of the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. There is a sundries room where guests can buy snacks if they would like something. There is also a restaurant which serves very nice food although sometimes it is used for private functions. There is also an ample breakfast area that guests can eat at in the morning. It has standard hotel breakfast fair but is quite good. The town of Perth itself seems to be very charming. I did not get the opportunity to walk around that much but it definitely has a great vibe to it, with lots of different boutiques and shops strewn around the town streets. Plenty of places to have a bite to eat, grab a drink and socialize.

This is my third visit here and I have always enjoyed the friendly staff, clean rooms and the hot and cold breakfast which I enjoyed this last visit. Location is great. Close to restaurants and shops and now there is a restaurant in the hotel again.

Best Western Plus Perth Parkside Inn & Spa is a delightful place to relax and enjoy a getaway. I have gone there with my daughter and a friend on several occasions and each stay is outstanding. The staff are friendly, accommodating of any request and very helpful. The Spa and restaurant are amazing. The spa staff are top notch massage therapists and estheticians. The spa area is tranquil and very well appointed. All the pampering considerations are more than taken care of: food, beverages, soothing music, heated treatment beds, top line beauty products and thoughtful staff. I would highly recommend this beautiful hotel and all its services. The setting by the Tay River in beautiful Perth is second to none for a most pleasant and rejuvenating escape.

Spent a girls getaway weekend in Perth, lovely and comfortable hotel & excellent spa experience! Hotel staff were quick to respond to requests for extra products, friendly and accommodating. The town, shops & restaurants are delightful as well. Highly recommend it for a quaint weekend away.

All in one...we went for our anniversary...got there early, had access to the Spa, the pool, the hot tub then got ready for dinner reservations at the Locks. Beautiful and clean room. Amazing experience!

This hotel made me change my perception of Best Western, as it had amenities that top hotels at higher prices don't have, and a staff that is more than helpful, genuine, and very professional. The food in the restaurant at dinner was excellent. Breakfast is included, but lacks variety. The spa in this hotel is also a tremendous addition to the fine services they have. I would not hesitate one second to recommend this property!

I travel all over eastern Ontario and stay in a lot of places. This is my favourite hotel and the location of it only drives that point home. Easy access to an awesome downtown with a lot of choices for restaurants. Although the restaurant at the hotel makes it easy to just stay in. Great place and I stay here often.

We stayed at the Best Western Parkside Inn & Spa in Perth, very clean, big rooms. The staff were very polite and helpful. Going back in December for the Santa Claus Parade of Lights. What a beautiful town!

Stopping over enroute to another city. Nice to be able to walk the main area of town and enjoy a lot of different small stores. Delightful stroll through the beautiful park right at the rear of the hotel. Fall foliage was gorgeous in surrounding trees. Breakfast was very good with many choices and a very friendly attendant. Ate dinner at The Locks restaurant and it was delicious.

Just a great place to stay! Clean and well appointed in a lovely park-like setting. Very reasonable! Quality breakfast. Also nice to walk around to all the shops in Downtown Perth with a coffee in hand on a beautiful Autumn day.

Our one night at the Best Western Plus Perth Parkside Inn & Spa was as relaxing and refreshing as a longer stay at many hotels. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we walked in the doors. Our room was exactly as described, and was very comfortable. Any staff with whom we dealt were friendly and helpful. The hotel's location in Perth is perfect, right next to a beautiful park, and within walking distance of many shops and restaurants. We would gladly return for a repeat visit!

Nice place, great location, but no service for our room. Disappointed in the attitude of the night manager when we got back to our room after an afternoon memorial service and were told the staff leaves at 5:00, no clean towles, no tissues and RAN OUT OF TOILET PAPER.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Everything is extremely clean, in fact we thought the hotel was new, however, were told it is 15 years old! Staff are very helpful and friendly. There is a salt water swimming pool and hot tub downstairs which is lovely with lockers and showers as well. It is situated right downtown so everything is within walking distance and you can leave your car in the hotel parking lot. It is right beside the park which is great for walking and a very pretty setting. A hot breakfast is included which had lots of choices.

My siblings, myself and mother planned a little overnight getaway to Perth this past weekend and seven out of nine of us stayed here. It was just wonderful. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable and the service is fantastic. Their free breakfast was truly a full breakfast and not just coffee and muffins. They had two types of eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, cereal, oatmeal, fresh fruit, baked beans, yoghurt, waffles, toast, muffins and a delightful server who kept the food and coffee fresh and flowing. The grounds are quite beautiful with a park, pond and walking trail right behind it. Soundproofing from outside noise is quite effective in the hotel. Two of our family members decided to try out a beautiful airbnb up the road that they quite enjoyed but asked us in the morning if the traffic noise from the night and early morning bothered us as it did them. None of us staying at the Best Western heard ANY traffic noise at all. Now I want to return with my husband for another little getaway and hopefully will have a chance to try out the spa.

The front desk team could benefit from customer service training, especially to the GM, Tanya Jamieson. Three different staff members could not explain the $50 vouchers tucked in with the room key. Ultimately Ms. Jamieson explained that because I booked a hotel/spa package, the $200 credit would be applied to my bill at check out. I asked what I do with the four $50 vouchers given to me at checkout. Her response was 'whatever you want, you can give them to your companions'. After reiterating my understanding, I was surprised the next day that at checkout, the $200 was not credited to my bill and I was told that I was to give the paperwork to the spa. In the meantime I had given the vouchers to my spa companions. When I discussed this with Ms. Jamieson she said I should have known as her explanation the previous day was clear and that the confusion was my fault. Given the confusion of three different front desk staff on the relationship between the spa and hotel and the subsequent confusion at checkout I suggested that guests should not have to look after the paperwork transfer between the hotel and spa. A spa/hotel package, booked through the hotel should not require a guest facilitating the transfer of payment between the entities. Ms. Jamieson's attitude was dismissive, combative, disrespectful, and uncalled for when dealing with a guest. This is truly unfortunate as our group returns annually and have always had exceptional experiences in the past.

We were so pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel was. It seemed like a very new establishment or it least recently refreshed in keeping with the area of the town. It is within walking distance of the downtown area where there are many stores, cafe, tea rooms and the park. We found that all staff we dealt with whether on the frontdesk, restaurant or just walking in the hall were so friendly. There was always a smile and a hell-o. We were so impressed with Jane during the morning breakfast. She seemed like someone who really enjoyed her job. She was always replenishing the buffet and was very intune with the quests needs and wants. She was certainly a pleasure to meet. We had a Queen room (2 beds). It would have been nice to have more comfortable chairs and perhaps a little table in that space. We had hoped there would have been suites available with 2 queen beds.The suites only have a King and sofabed.

Great place to stay in Perth. Easy access, great staff. Everyone helpful and cheery. Rooms are excellent a great view of the river The rooms are exceptionally clean, with comfortable beds and pillows. The restaurant offers a good selection for dinner which is fine dining The breakfast offers a good selection of both hot and cold items with cherry, bright natural lighting.

From the sign in to check out it was a great experience. The Team were outstanding and the entire 2 days were seamless. Maybe best wedding experience ever. The rooms were spotless, the breakfast was great and the Friday night reception food and the wedding dinner was food was excellent. I would really recommend this property for both business or pleasure.

Arranged a Ladies golf getaway in Perth and stayed overnight at the BW Perth Parkside Inn & Spa. Everyone in our group loved the hotel and its amenities, as well as the friendly, helpful service from the staff. .What a treat - this place is a gem in the middle of the prettiest town in the valley.

This is a local gem and there is nothing to fault. It is a modern, attractive Inn with very good facilities, food (even quality free breakfasts). Convenient parking, leads to quick efficient check in - and out . Spiffy rooms, luxurious, safe washrooms well equipped & bright. Our 202 had a charming,sunny balcony view of the park and river. Enjoy - we do every year.

We return to this hotel year after year on our annual boat trip along the Rideau Canal. It is within walking distance to the docks where we park, and to all the amenities the village of Perth has to offer. We always sleep in comfort, and this year the breakfast was particularly delicious, with real eggs, sausage, and made to order waffles. We will return!

Our room was not cleaned as we thought would be. They used to cleaned organic waste ( dog poop or vomit) on one of their chair with vinegar and the smell of vinegar was super strong in closed room. I opened the windows but outside view was terrible as window was covered with pigeons poop and fur all over the window and it was not safe for little lungs. They removed the chair sofa on complaint but vinegar smell was still coming from the portion of carpet where the sofa was placed. Then I noticed left side of the bed was super dusty and like never vacuumed in a long time. I am dust allergic and got sick.

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times recently and each stay has been very good. They have recently updated their restaurant dining room and bar which provides excellent service and food (although we were too busy to avail ourselves of eating in on this particular trip. The hotel is excellently located for all of the downtown facilities.

What a lovely hotel! Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We wish we had more than one night here! All the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful, especially the wonderful woman working the complimentary breakfast buffet! We will definately be back!

The room and hotel was so clean. My daughter has a small fobia with cleanliness in hotels and she was so comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great experience. We are going back next year!

Stayed here during the Race The Runway 2019 in Smith Falls. Hotel is clean and newer, but you better be driving a smart car or smaller if you need to park a vehicle here, has the smallest parking spots I've ever seen, people at the lobby complaining they can't get in there car because the car next to them is too close...Don't plan on watching the TV either unless you enjoy really dull black and white as they have the screen adjustments set to low brightness and locked so you can't adjust it up. I paid $220 + Cdn for this, too bad there wasn't a Motel 6 in town, it'd be much better value as this place is no better.

I enjoyed the Avida spa at the hotel as a birthday gift with family along for the fun. We began in the hotel pool and then had amazing pedicures. The professional Staff were ALL very friendly and the added touch of wine and cheese was WOW! Even my 8 year old granddaughter was offered a hot chocolate and a very caring pedi! Will return for sure!

Stayed here and had a great room with a balcony. Front desk was friendly and accommodating. This time we stayed they just opened the new dining room. Very well appointed and relaxing atmosphere. The manager also checked in on us during the meal which is understandable. Amazing food. Service was personal and attentive. The Fred Flintstone steak I had was incredible!! Just wish my asparagus wasn't placed under that big slab of amazing meat. Minor details but asparagus is my favourite lol! The pool was clean and quiet. Morning breakfast was enjoying and relaxing. Lots of food and great staff. Will be back.

There is nothing negative I can say about this great hotel. The food in the restaurant is good, the included breakfast that more than met our needs our needs. All of the staff is friendly and helpful, especially Hotel receptionist Sue who always went beyond the call of duty to meet the needs of all the 16 guests who were part of our group. Although i didn't use the pool-all our friends loved it. Will be staying there again. Parking is included at no charge which is a nice additional touch for guests. Room are clean and well kept-looks new even though it';s been there for 25 years. A very classy place for an escape or get away. Close to downtown and next to lovely Stewart Park. Nice place to hold a family reunion

The hotel room and staff were great. The restaurant is the opposite. The Caesar salad appetizer had lettuce, a Caesar sauce dressing from a jar and a stack of croutons. Rib eye steak for dinner arrived medium rather than medium rare but then its difficult to cook a steak that is less than one half inch thick to medium rare. The sides were Spanish rice and fried onions. The steak arrived on top of the rice, followed by old, stringy green beans (cooked as though they were freshly picked tender young beans) then covered in fried onions in a tasteless packaged gravy on top of the steak. The deserts were however, reasonable. The servers were friendly and competent. At approximately $60 for this meal, I expect near flawless cuisine! The next night was no improvement with no substitution offered for the beans which were refused, pepper added to the meal when VERY clearly requested non, raw pasta and over cooked shrimp and the serving of a larger group of people sent staff and what looked like the manager running around in circles.

We stayed at this hotel the night before we dropped our son off at Easter Seals camp. The suite was quite large. This made it easy for us to maneuver the wheelchair with ease. King bed was comfy. Both bathrooms were plenty large for the wheelchair as well. Huge floor to ceiling windows so my son could easily look out onto Stewart Park. Not something you see too often. Staff was great too. A very pleasant stay.

Great Hotel and fantastic location , a stroll through an old town , relax for a drink or coffee on the patio, this hotel has everything you need including a view of a river through the back yard . The rooms are spacious and comfortable

Perth is a great little town and the Best Western Parkside is a great place to stay while in Perth. It is close to the main street but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be able to sit out and have a quiet drink. Beautiful gardens and great scenery. I can highly recommend Perth and the hotel

My friend is having a wedding in Perth and so far this hotel is very good. The room was clean, staff is friendly and breakfast was good. The pool was fairly clean as well which I don't see in hotels often.

Perth is so lucky to have such a high end hotel in the town. The staff is very warm and friendly. The bar "The Locks" is pure class amazing decor and great service, you will not be disappointed . The hotel is located adjacent to Stewart park, one of the more beautiful parks in Eastern Ontario

This is a wonderful hotel will a welcoming staff and beautiful decor. The new restaurant is fantastic and the views overlooking Stewart Park are stunning. They offer wonderful information about local activities and are located one block from the shopping and restaurant district. We will return.

Room: comfortable, clean, quiet, good size and well-functioning bathroom and electronics, reliable internet. Breakfast: generous, good quality food, great service. Location: central yet quiet. Service: excellent - friendly and helpful staff. Then hotel building and grounds in general are clean and well-kept, also attractive!! Not the cheapest hotel but definitely great quality-price ratio.

Our stay at this hotel was most enjoyable. Set across from beautiful John A Stewart public park and Tay river, the hotel is also well situated, one street from downtown pretty boutiques and restaurants.

Grace at the front desk went out of her way to make us reservations and also brought us wine glasses and robes. What an amazing getaway we had thanks to the amazing staff you have. Will DEFINITELY be coming back again!

This was our third annual visit to Parkside. The check-in is always easy. The rooms are always immaculate. The front desk and spa staff always treat my girlfriends and I like queens! Breakfast was delicious... especially the coffee which we enjoyed outside on the patio. The grounds are a paradise! So easy to just RE-LAX! See you next year!!

Beautiful hotel in a very scenic setting, but the cleanliness and decor of the room could be improved significantly. We had a suite on the second floor that was very, very large, but with not enough furniture and decorative touches to make it “cosy” and attractive. Kind of looked like half empty. Some of the fixtures in one of the two bathrooms were falling off the wall. The plumbing of the toilet in the smaller bathroom was making very loud and strange noises when the toilet was flushed. There was no restaurant or bar service offered except for a very small buffet on Sunday morning. Overall, the hotel was not worth the $300.00 charged for one night!

From check-in to check-out, the staff were friendly and helpful. Pool and spa are fabulous. Food very tasty. Hotel is spectacular and overlooks beautiful Stewart Park. Room had a lovely and long jacuzzi that was so comforting it was hard to get out of. Slept like a log in the comfy king-sized bed.

Just lay back and relax. I came away feeling so refreshed. My skin was dry and dull when I came here. After my facial my skin was so much more radiant, hydrated and younger looking. My experience here was excellent. I have another appointment next month. Thumbs up!

I had come here with my husband for our anniversary last night, and we decided to come to the best western plus in Perth and were unexpectedly blown away with how wonderful our experience was. The staff was some of the most professional and attentive staff we've seen in our 45 years together at a hotel. The attention to detail was phenomenal, I mentioned to my husband that we needed to decide a place to eat that night and this young lady at the front desk not only recommended a lovely location (that we very much enjoyed) but she went out of her way to call and book us a reservation. We were absolutely shocked when somebody mentioned it was only her second week working at this location, her attention to our needs and positive attitude indicated she had been there for years. You should be very proud to have the best staff working for this hotel and we will definitely be coming back in the near future. The breakfast staff was very nice the next morning and check out went smoothly. Thank you best western!

We are a group of high school chums who have been getting together every year since we all turned 40. This was our 24th gathering. Do the math! Anyway...this year our organizer suggested a pampering theme. We had great rooms, one was a king suite, big enough for us to gather, chat, sip, nibble snacks, giggle and share memories. It also had a pull out couch. The other had two queen beds. It meant three sleeping per room and a considerable cost saving when we divided the final tally for two nights. If people don't mind sharing beds, you could comfortably sleep four in each room. The beds (even the pull out!) were extremely comfortable, the sheets so fresh and crisp, the pillows like clouds. Beautiful bathrooms with lots of marble and jacuzzi tubs. A delicious breakfast was included in the cost of the rooms. Eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausages, make your own waffles, fresh fruit, a variety of breads, coffee and tea. It was really good! We took full advantage of the hotel's amenities: a pool, hot tub, steam room and lounges by the pool. We also all went to the Spa attached to the hotel. Oh, my goodness, what pampering! I personally had a facial by Anne which was without a doubt the best facial I have ever had! So relaxing and gentle and my skin glowed afterwards. Others extolled the virtues of a massage therapist named Crystal. The spa staff was extremely welcoming. All of this in the lovely wee town of Perth, Ontario, which boasts so many lovely restaurants and shops. There is a beautiful park next door. Perth is in the perfect proximity for all six of us scattered in various cities and towns. It was the perfect Gals' Getaway. In fact we have already decided to go there again next year!

We stayed two nights at the BW Plus Perth Parkside Inn & Spa, and it was absolutely perfect in every respect. We were visiting Perth to attend my niece's wedding and I was expecting a serviceable hotel, but nothing special. I was very pleasantly surprised by just how lovely this hotel was! The check in/out process was smooth. The room was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean, and the king size bed was perfect. The hotel was one of the quietest I have ever stayed at. Our room (417) was at the end of a hallway, which may have helped. In any event, I never heard other guests in the hallways the whole time I was there. The free wifi was fast. Breakfast was, hands down, the best complementary breakfast I have ever had. Don't miss the waffles! And don't hesitate to request eggs prepared to order, if you don't care for scrambled (although they were the best scrambled eggs I've ever seen in a buffet breakfast). We can't wait to return for a weekend getaway in Perth. There is a lot to see and do in this charming small town, but the weather was unco-operative, and we didn't get to see as much as we would have liked.

This Best Western property is one of the best I have stayed at and I almost exclusively stay at Best Western hotels. The hotel is nicely decorated and very clean with a very good hearty breakfast included. There is also a pool, whirlpool and fitness centre which was very relaxing. It is within walking distance of the downtown area and close to many options for restaurants within walking distance. There is a park down the street with a river running through it to sit and relax. This town has a lot of beautiful, historical buildings again within walking distance of the hotel.

We had an amazing stay. Having all the amenities at the hotel was great. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Room was very comfortable and very quiet. Grounds are beautiful with walking paths along the river.

We were more then happy with the friendly staff that checked us in and offered suggestions on where to eat in Perth. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The pool and hot tub was an added bonus with great hours. The complimentary breakfast was the best complimentary breakfast I have had. Lots of variety. The hotel was walking distance to Perth's main area which made it easy to take in the maplefest the next day!

Our vehicle broke down on the way home from Ottawa to Hamilton. Our tow truck driver drove us to the Best Western in Perth Ontario. We were very impressed with this hotel as the staff went way above and beyond to make our stay as pleasurable as possible.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Perth Ontario. It's a well maintained property. The staff were friendly and professional. All areas of the Hotel were very clean. The view of the park was beautiful. We enjoyed the swimming pool and steam room!

Great location that is handy to walk downtown to explore stores, and restaurants.There is a beautiful well maintained park right next door. Pool, sauna, hot tub, free big breakfast - a great place for R&R!

Our stay at the Best Western Plus in Perth was fantastic. The hotel is located a very short walk from the main street in Perth, which is so convenient if your plan is to stroll the historic village. We were able to check in early when we arrived, which was unexpected and convenient. We noticed right away how clean the lobby was, and how friendly the staff were there. We began our stay with a couple's massage at the Parkside Spa. Honestly, it was the best massage that either my husband or I had ever had. Afterwards, we ventured out for a stroll along the river, located just behind the hotel, and then through Perth Village. After dining at O'Reilly's Ale House (a great restaurant), we came back to the hotel for the evening. We went down to the pool, and also made use of the hot tub and steam room. Without a doubt, their swimming facilities were the cleanest facilities I had ever used in a hotel. I was extremely impressed! I especially loved the steam room; this is not a typical amenity, so that was nice. The bed was a little too soft for our liking, so our sleep wasn't fantastic. But, the breakfast the next morning did not disappoint. While the coffee wasn't great (what do you expect from a continental breakfast), the hot food they served was tasty, fresh, and ample. I would recommend they offer some fruit salad. We had an all around great experience, and would definitely stay there again.

High end service in a classy hotel! Cannot wait to go back ! The lounge is amazing and the live music is a nice finishing touch. The spa at the hotel is one of the best I have been to. I am already planning my next trip!

Atmosphere was clean and friendly. Rooms were excellent! Amenities were awesome! Restaurant food was delicious. Had the fish and chips and was honestly the best dish I have had in a restaurant in a long time! Service was impeccable! I highly recommend staying here. The price was comparable to other hotels in Ottawa, however the rooms are much larger and you definitely get more bang for your buck. If you are looking for a get away a short drive from the city, this is it!

Looking for something interesting to do while visiting Ottawa. Perth is a beautiful little town and the Hotel was perfect. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub, steam room and breakfast at the hotel. Will be back again.

Excellent services and staff is amazing I highly recommend Rebecca and Haley in the hair salon. These two ladies know their stuff, I can't say enough good things about them. Thank you ladies! You have a customer for life!

My husband and I stayed at the hotel on the weekend - lovely stay. The hotel is Beautiful! Only downside was that due to the weather some staff were late to getting to work which delayed the "free" breakfast. We had to leave early, so unfortunately we didn't get to eat breakfast. Other than that - Great stay!

Went for valentines dinner and have to say, my husband and I both agreed it was probably the best meal that we have ever had in Perth. Hats off to the chef and our server. Will highly recommend this restaurant to our tearoom customers as the best place to dine for dinner.

I've stayed at the Perth BW Parkside Inn & Spa on many occasions and I've always had a great experience. The staff are friendly, the hotel is very clean, the continental breakfast is delicious and the spa is wonderful! The pool, steam room and whirlpool are kept impeccably clean and you will often encounter a courteous employee making the place sparkle! Great spot!

We stayed here (room 317) on Friday, February 1, 2019 for a one night stay. We paid extra for a whirlpool suite, as we all enjoy that in room amenity. Upon trying to use it later in the evening, there was green algae blowing out of the air jets into the water. We tried to get it cleaned out by running it at length, draining the tub, cleaning the tub out and then refilling it. After numerous attempts, it was still blowing out algae. Upon checkout we informed the front staff of the issue and were told that this algae was due to a deep clean process that was being done to the tubs. This makes absolutely no sense and is a laughable explanation. We paid extra for this perk, never got to use it and were never offered any sort of reimbursement. We spent a great deal of time cleaning the tub out, as we still needed to use it for showers the next morning. Another small issue with the room, was a non-functioning bed side lamp. This issue was due to a bad electrical outlet behind the bed. Staff were also notified of this upon checkout.

The former title holder was in Springdale Utah, but it changed to a Holiday Inn Express.This one is a worthy successor ... beautiful new building, first class amenities and service ... and because they have an evening restaurant on site, the normal buffet breakfast has china plates and cutlery ... although Perth is not exactly the tourist center of North America, it is one of the gems of this part of eastern Ontario.

Very happy with the best western plus. Nicole at front desk was a very big help on hold a room for the next day to see if we were gonna stay another night as a snow storm was coming. The room was the best but they need to get black out blinds for windows. The parking lots lights are so bright. Besides that. It was the best experience I've had at a hotel. Very pleased!

My boyfriend and I decided last minute that we wanted to get away for a night so we chose to come to Perth because it's only an hour away from home. This was a great decision on our part. We had a lovely room with a king-sized bed and a whirlpool tub. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the tub reminded us that we were in a spa hotel. Breakfast was okay - nothing special, just your standard hot/cold buffet. I liked it better when it was a full breakfast ordered off of a menu, but I'm just always happy that breakfast is included. We were also given a late check-out which is always a bonus. We didn't take part in any of the spa treatments, but perhaps we may look into it better next time. Overall, a great experience and we are already talking about going back the next time we need to get away for a night.

Room was clean, beautiful, washrooms were amazing! Restaurant had excellent food and ambiance, will be going again for another stay-cation with kids and again alone with hubby. Also want to do a girls weekend there too! Planning already in the works!

We stayed at the Best Western Perth Parkside Hotel for our daughter's wedding in December. We booked two suites and three rooms, and the wedding guests booked many more rooms. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. The staff is amazing, the complimentary breakfast is excellent and the spa services (hair and make up) are fantastic. Many of our family and friends enjoyed the pool and fitness centre, as well. Everyone was helpful, positive and cheerful throughout and we would definitely stay here again. The suites are spacious and a very good deal (only about $50 more a night than a regular room, and the rooms are lovely, too). If you're passing through Perth on your way to Ottawa, or you want to explore the town (which is charming), I would highly recommend the Best Western. Great hotel.

Very beautiful hotel and staff were friendly and helpful. Prime location and very comfortable beds. Pool is beautiful too and breakfast was delicious. Thank you! The staff and amenities were superior. We really enjoyed our stay and slept very well. There was a water and coffee stand that was always available. The view of the River Tay was exceptional and the room had a mini fridge.

I have stayed here many times and always had a wonderful experience. This time however we booked the same room we always do but the infloor heating in the bathroom was no longer available and the floor was freezing. We actually had to put bath mats down on the floor because the kids said it was too cold. Also they hotel changed the soap, shampoo and conditioners to a brand that smells like Lysol cleaner. I was still very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and the breakfast was great as always. The woman who works in the breakfast area is always so friendly ! The pool was great and we had a blast swimming. I hope the hotel fixes the in floor heating and changes the brand of soaps/shampoo/conditioner.

Upgraded our room to a suite to accomodate extra guests ON CHRISTMAS DAY! Superbly surprised at the spaciousness of the suite, easily accomodating our group. Clean, above and beyond our expectations - huge room. Will absolutely do this again. Very happy with our choice and BWPlus' delivery.

We stayed at this hotel for a wedding in the area. we chose to get a suite since we have 3 boys (8-12yrs). The suite we had was very clean and spacious. 2 bathrooms king size bed, pull out queen sofa and we had asked for a cot which was already set up in the room. We didn't feel like the five of us were tripping over each other. The hotel had a great complimentary breakfast int he morning and was close to restaurants in the area. The only downfall was that there didn't seem to be any ventilation in the bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again.

With a month left in the year for us to organize our 50th class reunion, the Perth Parkside Inn & Spa hosted our luncheon in their beautiful dining room. Couldn't ask for better ambiance and in the historic town of Perth, Ontario! A prix-fix selection was well prepared and presented. Service was excellent. The facility offered a wonderful venue for attendees to catch up on old times as well as current events; there was no rush to "get out the door". In warmer times of the year, I'm sure many would have enjoyed a walk in the park just outside the back door. Perth has many many wonderful restaurants but this easily accommodates a private grouping of probably up to 60 (maybe more) with ease.

Stayed with the family over new year's- it was perfectly located just off of downtown, clean, quiet, comfortable and the pool and steam room are great. Don't forget your caa card when you book because you get a decent discount ;-)

My daughter got married in Perth and we booked a large number of rooms well in advance of the wedding. Several times after we had confirmed and paid for our rooms, the hotel sent us messages that our rooms had been cancelled for no apparent reason. It required a worried phone call to reverse this situation. On the day before the wedding I checked into our room. As the mother of the bride I was looking for a comfortable nights rest the night before the wedding. I received anything but. The bed in our room was so hard and uncomfotable that my husband had to leave and drive back to Kanata in order to get some sleep. When I told the staff about this problem, they told me that it was their policy not to change the mattress in the room until they received a complaint. Add insult to injury at 6:00 it sounded like a plane was landing in my room. Apparently my room was just above or beside the large fan system used in the kitchen. We asked to be moved in the morning and I thought things might be looking up since the bed in our new room was much more comfortable however all day on the day of the wedding we were locked out of our room because the lock on the door malfunctioned and it took them the entire day to figure out how to fix it. Each time we returned to our room, we had to then request that a staff member come and open the door. I wrote an email to the hotel letting them know about our terrible experiences and received only a written apology. No compensation or discounts or offers of a reduced rate for future visits. I can never change the memories associated with my daughters wedding which included a horrible night's sleep on a very hard bed without my husband and being awakened at 6:00 am. I was just recovering from shingles and did not need this added to my woes.

My son and I spent one night at the Best Western Plus in Perth during a hockey tournament. We were on the 4th floor (which was the top floor, and would be recommended because it's usually quite with nobody in a room overhead). The pool, hot tub and steam sauna were excellent - I believe the pool is mineral/salt water, no chlorine, though guessing - the hot tub seems chlorinated - all were very clean with excellent change rooms, showers, nice towels. The service at the hotel was excellent, with prompt check-in and express check-out. Note our room was $180 plus tax for two queen beds, a fridge, TV, which we felt was a bit on the rich side for December. Breakfast for us both was included, and it was a really nice breakfast with scrambled eggs, a waffle station, ham/sausage, toast, yogurt, juices, tea/coffee, etc. We'd recommend the hotel for sure, though try to get a deal online for something in the $150/night range, which in my view, is more inline with a fair price for this hotel.

We were here briefly for a family event in town. I just wanted to mention how wonder the cheery breakfast room attendant was. Very friendly and compassionate. I did not catch her name. She was working the morning of Dec 10th. Room was so quiet we slept in way later than we ever had on a while. Definitely recommend staying here.

When to Perth to see the CP Christmas train ( a definite must do) Our room was fantastic, the bathroom had heated floors, made the cold feet disappear quickly. The staff were all friendly and helpful with directions. The complimentary breakfast the next morning was a good start to the day. Many thanks to all the staff for another wonderful stay.

Great place to come for a quick getaway. Room is great - breakfast the next morning is included. Use of the pool & hot tub was great (even if there was no heat in the pool). Restaurants & pubs are just a quick walk away. I will definitely be back!!

We stayed at the BW Plus Perth in late Sept for a family wedding. The hotel is beautiful situated in a gorgeous settling. Staff was efficient and friendly. Particularly loved the heated bathroom floor. Complimentary breakfast was tastly and appetizing. I did feel that the price seemed hugh for the area and their policy of pay when you reserve and if you cancel less than 30 days before your stay you lose your whole deposit which was 100% of the night's stay was unreasonable.

We stayed here for the weekend as we were in town for a hockey tournament. The hotel is very well located with plenty of local places to eat within walking distance. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The room we had included a jacuzzi tub which we did not take advantage of. They also have a spa on site which again didn't take advantage of as our weekend was consumed with hockey. Overall a very nice hotel. The only thing that I would say they could add would be a make-up mirror in the bathroom as the vanity is quite deep and makes makeup application challenging. Breakfast is included with your stay and I will say is the best breakfast we've been served at a hotel that includes breakfast with your room. The selection is not huge but the basics are there and what is offered is very good. The hotel staff that run the breakfast room are extremely hard working and very friendly. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone looking to stay in Perth.

This is a very difficult hotel to deal with. They initially wouldn't allow my son and his fiance to book a block of rooms, when they finally agreed the price went from $179 per night to $229 per night! I had booked on line a year in advanced and paid the $179 x 3 nights x 2 rooms. I needed another room for one night and had to pay the "special block room price" of $229. When you book a room you also have to pre-pay the entire cost of the room and they have a 30 day cancellation policy.They are the only hotel in the area and can charge whatever they want. They need some stiff competition, like a Marriott, Hilton or Sheraton.

This is a modern, clean hotel with excellent facilities. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished - everything worked well in ours (AC, shower, etc.) and everything was in excellent working order. The WiFi was very strong and worked well with excellent speed. The beds were comfortable and the hotel is quiet. The staff is helpful and friendly. The hotel is located within an easy walk (5 minutes) of the downtown where there are lots of good restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel is located beside a park and so is in a very nice setting. The breakfast (included) is good and the wait staff (although basically a self serve breakfast) is attentive.

We were here for my daughter's wedding (not at the hotel), about 20 of us. It was great having the spa downstairs, we all had our hair appointments very conveniently, the women and men as well. The pillows were great - 4 pillows to choose from, each with a different hardness/thickness.

Very modern hotel. Room was very clean and beds quite comfortable. There were three of us spending the night and we requested a room with two queen beds and a cot. The price and room changed about three times in an hour to being available and then not being available. They charged and extra $20.00+ for the extra person in the room. They said they had no room available that could accommodate a cot. The dining room has very limited menu and when we first entered the dining room left as we thought we were in the wrong room until a lady came and told us we were in the right place. Dinner was not that great. Breakfast was included but it was the worst breakfast we had ever had in a hotel that included breakfast. The "scrambled eggs" were tasteless. The sausages were 'ok'. The ham was cut in tiny triangles and was so well done and burned you could not pick it up with a fork. We did not find them at all accommodating although on check-out the woman on the desk was great. Would not stay at this hotel again. Have stayed in other Best Westerns that were so much better.

We stay a night here after a cottage rental nightmare and it was a wonderful reprieve. The room was clean, and had everything we needed. It was great to have onsite guest laundry to wash some clothes after camping in Lanark. The place was air conditioned and the beds comfortable. This is the place to stay when in Perth!

This hotel was contructed with local stone architecture in mind, and situated overlooking a beautiful city park. We really appreciated the views from the large window in our room, and those in the breakfast room of parkland and the Tay River. The outdoor patios are nice too! The hotel is a block from downtown, with nice historic buildings, shops and restaurants. All hotel staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful, from room reservation to check out. We will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

This property is located adjacent to one of the nicest city parks in Ontario. Their excellent landscaping fits in perfectly with both the city and the park. Staff and service were excellent, the rooms were clean and well appointed, breakfast was well laid out and the selection was excellent. A nice little surprise in my wife's hometown. We will definitely return !

I can not say enough good things about this Hotel. I have been several times and will certainly return soon. The hotel is extremley clean and decorated beautifully. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The room are very comfortable and clean. The pool and exercise room are very nice. I go on the golf package sometimes and other times go just to relax and use their amazing Spa. I highly recommend you visit this hotel. I guarantee, you will return.

Lunch on the patio was a perfect way to begin a relaxing afternoon. The lunch menu has lots of variety...something for everyone. Fabulous food and friendly service at a very reasonable price. Staff in the spa were welcoming, professional and provided us with restful experience. We finished off our afternoon reading a book, relaxing by the pool. Thank you for such an enjoyable afternoon...we will be back soon.

My husband and I spent the night in Perth for my 50th Birthday. Everything about the hotel, and it's breakfast was amazing. Gorgeous setting, polite service, perfect location. I would recommend this place to anyone. Family friendly also.

This was our fourth visit in the last eight years, and it only keeps getting better. Super clean rooms, great location close to everything, excellent friendly staff, way above average breakfast, and now they've opened an on-site bistro. There are lots of great restaurants within a short walk, but we had just had a full day of travel and wanted to sit and relax with a cold one and a light dinner. The bistro was perfect. The selections were limited, but we had no problem finding a few items that 'hit the spot'. Keep up the good work !

This is by far the nicest place we have stayed at in Perth. The hotel is lovely and the location unbeatable. There is a very nice complementary breakfast. The staff are friendly and helpful. wellok forward to returning next year.

I have stayed at this property number of times. The rooms are nice and some of them have excellent riverside view. The front desk Staff is very helpful. The General Manager Tanya is exceptionally good and ensures that customer needs are taken care. Michelle Burke at front desk is very good and goes above and beyond to take care of customer needs. There are some new faces at front desk that need to learn about customer service from Tanya and Michelle. Overall I had great experience except that I will not recommend any one to stay in White house as the rooms are not well maintained and do not have proper working table

Great hotel, excellent staff. We were there for our friends wedding, the location was in the middle of town and close to restaurants and pubs. near a beautifull park with river running through it. they allow dogs and our Boxer was happy to be able to go on a road trip.

My wife and I went to Perth for our anniversary weekend. We stayed at the Perth Parkside Inn & Spa and our experience was exceptional on all levels. From check-in to check out our stay was perfect. Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. High service standards are clearly important at this hotel. We also went for massages at the spa and again that experience was consistent with the hotel -- exceptional. To top it all off we had a great breakfast -- which was included -- before we left. Food was great and staff were super helpful and attentive. Great job to all! We'll be back soon.

Very nice rooms, many overlooking the beautiful river running through the city-centre park. Friendly, personal and helpful staff, and a nice breakfast. Corner King room was clean and quiet with a nice amount of space including a nice size bathroom. Enjoyed my stay very much.

The hotel was clean and the staff couldn't do enough to keep you happy. The breakfeast was great, even though it was continental, they made fresh eggs, which ever way you wanted them. The lady who took care of the breakfeast couldn't do enough to make sure you had what you wanted. It was a very good stay.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Willing to help and answer any questions. Motel was nicely kept. Rooms were exceptional, had a great sleep. Within walking distance to many restaurants and establishments.

Room was modern and very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. Parkview rooms have a great view looking out onto a park with the Tay river flowing through it. Breakfast setup in a buffet style. Food was fresh and coffee was great.

This is a very nice hotel , the pool was on the small side but it was very warm. the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. it is close to downtown, within walking distance of everything. overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Our choir decided to stay at the Best Western while travelling from our concert in Almonte to the one in Belleville. Excellent accommodations and the staff is very attentive. The breakfast was delicious. Make sure you try the quiche. The location is ideal. Being right in the centre of the tourist district it was easy to take in all of the local activities and shops.

Great View of Stuart Park. Easy access to everything in town. Pool, hot tub, steam room very nice. Should have booked a massage earlier as they were booked up. The included breakfast could improve, however was adequate.Would recommend.

Took the room and spa package. Excellent spa and massage but unfortunately the pool and wet sauna not open on Sunday. Hard for a tourist with only weekend available. Also breakfast not enticing at all and lacking in basic amenities. beautiful hotel with very helpful and nice staff. will be back.

Great place to stay. Was close to all restaurants and had free parking. We got a corner king room and it was worth the extra money. The room was HUGE and had a very large washroom too. The hotel is clean spacious and had a great breakfast with helpful staff. We would stay there again and again. The pool and spa was right on site and both were clean and new as well. The pool wasn't busy at all which was nice too. The change room was also very nice and clean.

I stayed here in February for a night when I went up north to check in on my summer getaway. Parking lot was small, but I didn't have an issue getting a spot. Upon entering, I was surprised by the decor. It looked super classy, like a 4 star hotel. Front desk staff were not attentive and I stood there awkwardly for a moment while they finished their conversation about something. They were friendly when finished. I was assigned to room 103. Main floor, down a hallway behind elevators. It seemed to be nice enough, close to the onsite restaurant and nice view out the back window. It was cold outside so I decided to eat at the restaurant before I had my scheduled massage. Service was slow for a restaurant that had three tables seated. Food wasn't quite what it should've been (fish tacos, looked like captain highliners with ranch dressing). Server was friendly though. Had a massage in the spa. Fantastic set up. After my relaxing massage I went to use their pool and hot tub. Both were really refreshing. Went out for dinner, came back to my room to unwind and call it a night. Before I went to sleep, I noticed they had Timothy's Kcups. I called down to the front desk to see if they had a flavour I liked, and she said she would ask housekeeping. They never did call me back. While trying to relax, I noticed a noisy cart getting pushed up and down the hallway (no carpet to muffle sound). This went on for a few hours until I managed to get someone coming. I asked how long they were going to be doing it. They were carting dirty dishes back and forth between the kitchen and service area. The guy said until at least 10 and then again at 6 am. Pretty disappointed with this as I wanted a quiet and restful sleep before my long drive home. Bathtub was awesome, bed was comfortable. But wrote the Supervisor about the noisy dish carts and never got a response back. They definitely need more training when it comes to public relations. Would I stay here again? Yes, but not a first floor room!!

Clean, friendly and very relaxing. Went for a walk in the park behind the hotel. Very picturesque. The hotel has great amenities for a couples relaxing getaway. We will be back soon. Breakfast was great!

I'll start with the good. The location is excellent if you want to walk around downtown Perth. It's a fairly new hotel so it's clean and welcoming. In general the staff were excellent, very friendly and very helpful. Entering the double queen room for the first time left us with good first impressions. Luckily we'd booked a room overlooking the park so the view was very pretty. The bathroom was very clean, much cleaner than hotels that charge a heck of a lot more for a room in Canada. The good vibes were dampened a touch when we realised that the base used for the beds was a series of aluminium (I think) sheets that formed a box. Everytime someone shifted position on the bed, the metal sheets flexed and made an awful noise. Not surprisingly this woke us up during the night whenever any moved. The pool is a bit small but it's clean (I seem to changing tenses here) and although the temperature was a touch on the cold side, it wasn't uncomfortable so and it was fine once our bodies adapted. The pool was ruined for us as other guests were doing flips and cannon balls, which meant there was no safe space for anyone else to swim as the pool is so small. So I gave up. The hot tub was supposedly under maintenance and colder than usual but the temperature was perfectly fine for me, so perhaps they fixed it and forgot to remove the notice. The facilities (changing room and bathrooms) on the pool's level were wonderfully clean. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. It's an Italian menu so there are lots of pasta dishes to choose from. We had the Fettucini Alfredo, Fettucini Funghi and Canneloni and we all loved our meals. The waiter was charming and very helpful but he seemed to have a problem with the parmesan cheese grater and left a trail of grated cheese wherever he went, including on our plates, our table, the floor and us! No matter, the food was enjoyable. Our only gripe was that the cutlery and plates should have been cleaner. I've covered the beds and otherwise the room was very comfortable. Like all hotels the A/C - heater is loud but we switched it off as we didn't need to use it. I wish hotels could find a quieter way to heat and cool the rooms. Our stay included complimentary breakfasts for all three of us. And here's where things fell apart. We ordered two cooked breakfasts and the waffles. The eggs were cold and the potatoes were vastly undercooked on both meals. We could only eat the sausage and toast. The waffle was probably the kind you can buy in Loblaws and it was mildly warm and chewy. It looked like several other guests didn't eat all of their breakfasts so perhaps there was a bigger issue than just our meal. The young ladies working in the restaurant were polite and helpful but they appeared to struggle with the workload. Perhaps an extra staff member should be on hand during busy periods or a senior member to help organise the restaurant. It took a long time to get our food and we heard someone complain that they were served food later than others who arrived after them. Again, the cutlery, plates, glasses and cups should have been cleaner. If the Parkside resolve their kitchen issues (cleanliness, breakfast and staffing) and replace their bed bases with something quieter, then I would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. It's a very pleasant, clean and very friendly oasis in the middle of Perth. Without these improvements I think I would only return knowing I wouldn't have a great sleep and that I would want to eat breakfast elsewhere. We didn't use the spa or the salon. Note - I rated this stay as 3* but really I would place it at 3.5* if I could. I really want to make it a 4* but I can't because of the breakfast experience and the noisy beds. Without these two issues it would be a definite 4*, perhaps even 4.5*

We like this hotel. There aren't many choices in Perth, that can accommodate families, but this one is able. Clean, friendly staff, complimentary fresh-cooked breakfast. Clean pool, nice room. Complaints? Enough with the plastic already! Plastic covered plastic cups in the rooms, cream and milk in plastic, condiments in plastic. It's 2018, let's get up to date, please!

What a surprisingly beautiful hotel! Fabulous and comfortable stay because of wonderful staff. I was in Perth for business and being my visit visit wasn't sure where the best place to stay was. I found it! From booking through to checkout everything was perfect! Love this hotel! Would highly recommend this hotel!

Terrific hotel with onsite spa. Enjoyed the private pedicure with wine and cheese. The room was clean and comfortable and had an air jet tub. The swimming pool has a fun current feature. Breakfast was full made to order included in room charge. Will definitely plan to return in the future.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Perth Parkside Inn & Spa. Beautiful room, great amenities and helpful and friendly staff. I would highly recommend it! The spa downstairs was wonderful and they offered many different types of spa services, plus a wonderful pool to relax in afterwards. If your looking for a great weekend spot, this is it!

The location of the hotel was perfect for the event we were attending across the street, but a few things would have improved the experience. 1) Earlier check in options. We were told the room "should be ready by 3" but weren't guaranteed (though it was check in time). We took a gamble at showed up at 3 anyways. 2) More parking. There was no parking left on site . 3) The breakfast was disorganized. It took us more than an hour and a half to wait in line to get in, get coffee, and get served our food. If breakfast didn't end at 10 a.m., it may distribute hotel guests more evenly. For a $230 one night hotel stay, I didn't feel that I got my value.

Very comfy bed. Our bathroom had a heated floor which was delightful. Tv is a little small for the size of the room but still good. Very quiet. Big tub with jets. Friendly staff. And a great pizza joint around the corner that delivered to our room, Jersey Joe's.

Have wanted to check this hotel out for a while now. Always loved the town of Perth and this hotel fits right in. Its full of charm and character, the rooms are large & very clean. Breakfast was included and was probably the best free hotel breakfast i have had. The staff was by far the highlight as they were both friendly and very helpful. Thank you, we will be back soon!

Had a short stay here on my way back to Toronto from Ottawa. Arrived late at night, welcomed by the lady at front desk with a big smile on her face. A over night parking permit was offered for free. She finished the check in process in no time and informed us everything we need to know(breakfast, pool etc.). To our surprise, this Best Western actually recognizes BW reward members. Snacks and 2 bottles of waters and a letter from the manager ware provided as BW reward welcome bonus. This is a very good direction for the chain. The room we book was a king with whirlpool. The room was big with a big bathroom. The whirlpool in room was not a separated from the shower as some other hotels do but it's adequate. All in all you are coming here for the larger pool down stairs. The pool, steam room and gym open early in the morning and closes at 10 pm. We were there on a weekday morning and it was quiet in there. Breakfast vouchers were provided. Each person can order 1 meal + 1 coffee/tea/juice from the menu for free. Premium or additional items for extra charge. PS: get the locker key from front desk if you're planning to use the pool.

Get away for my Birthday... A weekend in Perth and a day at the spa. The room was huge, and the nite view of the town was great!! The spa staff were very professional and attentive. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. As usual a wonderful stay. Hotel is well within walking distance to anything in Old town Perth, shopping, dining attractions!!! And we received breakfast vouchers this visit, which we used!!

My husband and I spent the night after enjoying the monthly Jazz at Slackoni's. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. The hotel is immaculate and the room/suite was clean and cozy. The heated floors in the bathroom were a nice touch as well. We enjoyed the hotel and it's close proximity to stores and restaurants that we stayed an additional night. Breakfast was also included...another bonus. Breakfast was delicious, and offered more choices than expected. Waffles, bagel and fruit, bacon & eggs .....or just cereal, great assortment. Thanks, we'll be back for another staycation.

Living in Ottawa, a weekend getaway for a spa weekend sounded perfect. What better place than the quaint town of Perth. We would definately recommend Perth, but would not stay here again. For small town Ontario, the hotel is pricey and in our experience the ameneties unreliable. We gave the place two trys, once in August and once in October of 2017. Both times, neither the hot tub or steam room were working; frustrating when your paying for a "spa weekend". The room, though well appointed, was also not particularily clean. We politely expressed our disappointment after the second experience, for which the manager offered hotel points to compensate for the non working amendities. Nice gesture, except they never followed through!. Hotel is well located and the front desk people nice,;however, not a good experience overall.

Perth is a small city and the hotel is centrally located, with some shops and restaurants or pubs within walking distance. The hotel is clean and the rooms very pleasant, with enough space and comfortable beds and pillows and bathroom. We were facing the park, so it was quiet and the view lovely. Breakfast had improved since we last visited a few years ago. Instead of being a very limited and uninspiring buffet, there is now a server and they offer a menu that includes about 6 different choices, with some hot and some GF options. The rest of the menu had an extra charge. We chose from within one of the 6 items, and being vegetarian, we had two eggs with fries and fruit, and GF bread, plus coffee and juice. Daytime staff is very friendly and accommodating. A few things could have been better. The Spa offered by the hotel (pool, jacuzzi and steam room) did not work as expected. The first day the hot tub/jacuzzi was rather cool, and the second and third day the sauna/steam room was out of order. Apparently, the Spa is soon undergoing renovation, and I guess they did not wish to repair it before then. We were disappointed, as the Hotel is advertised as a Spa, and we traveled as a family and wanted to use it fully for the 3 day stay. Paying a total of $185 each day (with taxes), we would have expected to be previously informed of the situation, or at least offer some kind of compensation. However, the repair technician was very pleasant and accommodated us the last day by heating the sauna for us for a while before leaving. The Spa section (with massage, etc) also made a mistake in not applying a discount they were offering for the month of January, which came to about $30, and when by chance we noticed and brought it to their attention, again they did not offer any kind of token compensation or even apologize for the inconvenience (we had to return and wait for them to fix it). In fact, they seemed rather annoyed at us bringing the subject up and asking for a refund. When we finally talked with the Spa manager, she did apologize and explained to us why the staff might have forgotten to apply the 'special'. Despite this small inconveniences, it was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel is super comfortable, quiet and I enjoyed my stay. Staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. I enjoyed the breakfast as I was on a tight time line and the service was quick, friendly and good!

When people tell you that the staff of a hotel make the difference, this hotel certainly makes that statement ring true. I did not stay there but my cousin did on probably the coldest weekend of the year in January 2018. My cousin and 8 others met for a yummy breakfast in the hotel restaurant. And on the first morning that my cousin went to his car, it would not start and a young hotel ofiice employee, got some jumper cables, and persevered until his car started in the bitter cold. We met again the next morning at the hotel restaurant ( 9 of us) where the food was delicious! only to find that the back window in my cousin's car had shattered. Again ( I believe her name was Kristen) to the rescue. She found some tape and tarps and in the extreme cold tried to help my cousin with the broken window. They even checked on the surveillance tapes to make sure that it was the cold that broke the window and not vandalism ( it was the cold). All in all, the staff of the Best Western went above and beyond making you feel that they were an extremely caring and helpful staff willing to help their guests in any way at all!!!

I stayed at this hotel while traveling for work in December. I would rate the hotel Excellent, but the staff brought my rating down. I paid about $150 a night and stayed for 2 nights, 3 days. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were really nice, but yet again I paid $150 a night... so you expect something on the nicer side. The beds are extremely comfortable and I will probably stay at this hotel again. The staff were not very hospitable and seemed to enjoy chatting with one another instead of assisting me. My key card was disabled on my second night stay, and it took awhile to get someones attention at the front desk. Once I entered my room, my WiFi password had been deactivated at well, and instead of going back down to the front desk, I tried to call from my room phone. The line just kept ringing and ringing... so I looked up the hotels phone number online and called from my personal phone, and within a few rings someone picked up. Other than the front desk staff, this hotel is pretty good!

The hotel is adjacent to Big Ben Park and a 2 min walk to beautiful downtown Perth. The hotel itself is very well maintained with four floors, elevator, gardens, pool, hot tub, steam room, fitness room, restaurant/bar, conference room, a business centre plus other amenities. We stayed in a King room which had a microwave and a fridge. Beds were very comfortable and bathroom had a jetted tub. When we arrived a wedding was taking place but staff were exceptionally well prepared and we were greeted immediately. I felt we were treated like first class guests. We were placed in a room on the upper floor and we had no noise complaints despite the wedding and it being New Years. The staff are exceptionally friendly- allowing us to store our bags the next day so our items didn't freeze (it was -31 degrees out), and when our car didn't start we were offered a boost. The breakfast is pay but it was $5 for a egg bacon toast and home fries which really isn't bad! Overall we loved the hotel and we loved Perth Ontario!

Zero complaints, a great stay on my travels. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub and a comfortable sleep. The location was a little off the beaten path, but I wasn't in any hurry. Very nice little town with lots of shops and restaurants. I would definitely return.

the staff at the registration desk were excellent. Friendly and made you feel welcome. Room was very nice, roomy and comfortable. Good location being in downtown but then Perth is not very big Breakfast while hot was very slow in coming. Either they are understaffed in the kitchen, or they are not working to keep pace with the orders. It was busy and the waitress moved quickly but about a 25 minute wait is too much

It was satisfactory for the most part. The breakfast was a disappointment, not enough choices and poor quality of food. The dining room was very crowded and there was only one server. The buffet ran out of food, which was frustrating. The toaster handle kept falling off. I did like the china plates and real cutlery instead of paper service as it typical in the USA.

*sigh* The view from room 211 leaves a lot to be desired. No matter for this particular trip...mostly restorative...however, not exactly inspirational. 211 would be fine for a basic overnight rest stop. The breakfast (included) was served and plentiful. Dining service: cheerful. Too cold outside to sightsee today. Luckily, there is a saltwater pool, spa and hair salon on the lower level facing Stewart Park. It would be great if there was an outdoor skating rink on the park side of the hotel just a few steps from the warmth inside. It would provide a fun, active guest activity in midwinter for those guests not indulging in the spa services. Lower midweek and off-season prices would go a long way to entice a future visit!

This hotel has everything, breakfast, restaurant, pool, hot tub, exercise room and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff go out of their way to make your stay just like home. We had 14 in our suite for games and food and the kitchen was equipped to suit our needs. Highly recommend this Hotel.

I have been traveling on business across Canada for 45 years and this location rates with the best I have experienced. From the time I walked through the front door I felt welcomed as a valued guest. The entire staff from the front desk to house keeping were always greeted me with smiles. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Perth location. Great location in the center of town.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I love its breakfast. The whole building is clean and modern and is in a beautiful setting in downtown Perth. Good value for the money. I will definitely go back.

Our rooms, five in total, were sparkling clean and comfortable. the Hotel is situated a block away from the main street so everything is basically within walking distance. The Hotel Staff went out of their way to be helpful. The pool was a little cool but the hot tub was perfect. The Spa is enjoyable and relaxing and they offer a large variety of services. The Gym was normal. The Restaurant food was excellent. They prepared a turkey and ham buffet for us and also prepared a breakfast buffet so we could all eat together. We would highly recommend both the Hotel and the Restaurant and look forward to returning.

We stayed here overnight en route to Ottawa as we did not want to drive in the dark during hunting season. We had a lovely dinner at the hotel and a good breakfast was included in the room rate. The breakfast area overlooked the river and a park. Lovely view. Will definitely plan to stay here again as there seemed to be several interesting things to see and a nearby historic golf course. Friendly, helpful staff.

EXCELLENT PLACE TO STAY --EVERYTHING WAS AWESOME! We also have reservations made for for 3 room bookings for July 2018 for a fmaily wedding . Hope to take advantage of the spa facilities then as well. Looking forward to future stays here while in Perth.

The entry to the building was clear and clean with automated doors for convenience. The room was very clean and the jet tub was fun for our son. There was no noise from the hall or other rooms. The check out was fast and easy.

Hotel is very well appointed and very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms are well equipped, clean and not sowing signs of wear & tear like many hotels. Would recommend this hotel for it's location and the exterior grounds.

This hotel / spa was an early anniversary getaway for us and it did not disappoint. The rooms are nice, clean, and the bed comfy. Pleasant view of the river outside the balcony - a bit chilly for balcony use but would be lovely in warmer weather. Staff is very pleasant and eager to help. Did not eat at the restaurant - hotel should provide a menu, we might have considered. Breakfasts were included and very good choices. We would return for sure and maybe check out the spa services and restaurant in the future.

This Hotel is nothing but spectacular. Clean, friendly, organized. The rooms are in top notch shape. The breakfast offering were also cooked perfectly with a great selection. I would not only recommend this Best Western but Any across Canada as I have stayed in all of them from Ontario to Chemainus B.C. Thanks and keep up the great work.

We absolutely love the Best Western Perth. The staff are courteous, helpful, kind and accommodating. With our 2 little grandsons we were able to check in early into our park side room and the boys had a great time in the pool and hot tub. Kate and I have already stayed here last year for our mommy-daughter week end, and I can't wait to come back with my husband. Love it love it love it!

Do not count on early check ins!. Ours was 3 hrs behind as well as other guest. We had a wedding to attend and had 40 min to get ready even though we showed up 4 hrs prior!!. Some guests had no room yet available and had to get ready in the guests washrooms. Parking is limited and there is NO street parking in the town. Rooms are clean and updated. Friendly patient staff. Cost too high for 1 night stay, considering a 3 hour late check in NOT of our own fault. Glad my 3 kids were not with me for the event or it would of gotten crazy in the lobby.

This is great hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the lobby and the rest of the building is very well maintained. It is in a quiet spot with a nice park running behind it. Downtown, with several excellent restaurants, is within an easy 10 minute walk. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a spa and pool and a real restaurant in which they serve a very good breakfast. The hotel is designed to be accessible for those people with mobility issues. Could not ask for a better place to stay.

We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we wanted a quiet, quint and relaxed place. It was excellent and we really like it. The restaurant, spa and pool inside so even though first day was a raining day we could enjoy it inside without getting bored. Mywife want to return for next year.

I visited during the autumn colours and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel and it's setting. The room was very clean, spacious, providing great view, etc. My only complaint was that the air unit rattled and I had to unplug it. Good thing that the large window opens for fresh air. The breakfast (included with room) was a good portion with a pleasant sit-down setting overlooking the courtyard gardens and the Tay River. The service was very good all-around. Mr. Mulville and his staff have definitely brought up the service level at this Best Western in Perth. Even the Maid Servant in the elevator greeted me with a smile and chat. I will definitely be back and hope others experience this fine hotel that sits along the Tay River Park. Beautiful park in the backyard, and a coffee cafe across the street. What else can you ask for! :-)

Great hotel! Spacious rooms and comfy beds. Very nice layout for a small town hotel. Spa and pool were a nice touch. The restaurant was okay for breakfast but easy walking to all kinds of different food options - pubs /fine dining/cafe/ family restaurants. Lovey downtown park for an evening stroll.

Great hotel with great gym and pool. Would highly recommend this place. If you like a large king bed and lots of room to move this is your spot. The 6ft bathtub is extra roomy. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as i did.

Lovely hotel and spa, in a beautiful town. Receptionists very friendly. Lots of restaurants close by, within walking distance. The hotel is next to a lovely park, with a walking trail, and near to a river walk. We didn't try the spa.

The employees were extremely helpful and pleasant. It was obvious that they worked well together. I have an amazing experience as the staff in the dining room met my special request quickly and without effort. I would stay here again if I was in the area.

Everything about this hotel was perfect except 2 things. Parking is limited, and it can be hard to maneuver large vehicles in the small lot. Breakfast was very slow, and nothing to write home about. Perth has lots of restaurants, consider eating somewhere else.

Took my wife on a business trip and stayed at Best Western Perth. Wonderful place, comfortable large rooms and friendly staff too. We used the swimming pool a great deal. Overall a great experience. Will visit again for sure.

My husband and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Perth Parkside Inn & Spa for one night in August for a friend's wedding. We were both very surprised and pleased by the very large, and quite elegant room (310) we were assigned after checking in. It had plenty of seating and a huge bathroom with heated floors. Many of these suites have gorgeous views if you ask for one with a park or river view. Room 310 did not have a garden/river view. The grounds were beautiful with pretty landscaping and a patio that looked out onto gardens, a park and a river. There was also a lovely indoor pool and hot tub that looked out onto the gardens as well as a a spa that I didn't get to try out. I had never been to Perth before and found the whole village very charming with the beautiful old stone buildings, lots of interesting shops and restaurants, a huge park with a river running through it and all this was within walking distance from the hotel. I would definitely stay at the Best Western Plus in Perth next time I visit Perth. It would make a great weekend getaway spot for a couple, or a girlfriend's getaway.

The Parkside Inn was perfect for our stay. Our sons wedding took place in Stewart Park and the reception at Codes Mill. The Parkside offered all friends and family a wonderfully clean and well equipped place to stay. The service was great. The amenities were convenient eg restaurant and spa. The breakfast was extremely good! The staff were really friendly. The wedding party loved staying in the White House adjacent to the hotel. Highly recommended.

Love the location near the water, beautiful gardens, lovely area. Friendly staff, breakfast included bacon and eggs. Good place to stay and visit the different boutiques. Visited the distillery of gin, vodka in town.

This is a lovely hotel. It is clean and the staff is very friendly. We highly recommend it. We like the breakfast in the price so we did not take advantage of the coupons offered for breakfast. The dining area looked very lovely. Having a bar and restaurant was a real bonus. No need to drive again after you have checked in. A very, very pleasant stay!

We chose this hotel because of the location that we wanted for our wedding...the Stewart Park of Perth, On. I don't know what to say other than 5 stars does not give this hotel/venue justice. We had our most important day here...and honestly it went more amazing than ever anticipated. It was an amazing event in our lives and The Best Western Perth team put their all into it. Slackonis was undeniably delicious. Rob the head chef...he knows how to cook. That is for sure. In Rob we trust! Great tasting meals and drinks. We had 95 people at our wedding and everyone was completely and utterly loving everything from this venue and staff...top to bottom. If you're thinking of having your wedding or big event here...........do it! We are sincerely honored to have had our wedding here. Cheers to the BW Perth P.S. The pool/hot tub/spa and steam room are unreal.

Perfect location on park in heart of Perth. Wife really liked the spa staff and service. Breakfast vouchers cover the cost of a very ample breakfast....we had tea, 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, toast and hash potatoes....the latter were actually very good potato cubes, much nicer that true hashed potatoes. OJ was extra. If you choose menu items other than those covered by the vouchers, there is a $5 credit per person. Checkout time is 11am....we arrived back at our room at 10:45am and found our electronic door keys had been inactivated early. Fortunately a housekeeping woman was nearby and let us in our room to check out. We did find the front desk staff to be a tad aloof at check-in....two of them were fixated on computer screens and handling customers on phone....several minutes before our prescence was acknowledged. Perhaps they should be reminded that a bird in hand is worth two in the bush.....

Third time here and each visit enjoyable. Large,bright rooms and a large bathroom; all with a pleasant town-view. TWO comfy chairs to watch TV! King,comfy bed. Advise reservation as place popular for weddings etc. Easy free parking and free breakfast. Staff very friendly and small town, laid back.

I would not normally stay at a Best Western Hotel, but this was the only real hotel in Perth. This hotel exceeded my expectations and it was far better than many other higher end hotels I've stayed at. It is relatively new and and the interior decorating and exterior appearance was very nice. While it was not needed, we ended up getting a large main floor wheelchair accessible room. The flooring was all granite tiles. The bathroom had all granite wall tiles and the room overlooked a park. Again, it was far beyond what I would have expected from a BW hotel.

I organized an offsite with my team (15 p) and we enjoyed our stay. The hotal has everything you need for a business trip and you can enjoy the park beside. I recommend also the O'reilly Pub for the dinner.

We had a weekend stay in Perth, and not only enjoyed the beautiful town but I found an amazing hairstylist. I have been looking for a hairstylist that could properly cut my unruly hair and Darlene did. Thank you!. She told me that she has been a stylist for over 20 years and her professionalism/sunny personality put me at ease immediately. I guess I'll be making many more trips to beautiful Perth.

This is my favorite place to stay when I am visiting family in Perth. The check-in was easy, staff was pleasant, room was modern and clean and we had a beautiful view of the Tay River and Stewart Park. This hotel is also very central and it's easy to walk to anywhere in Town from this location. It has a lot of great restaurants within a few minutes walk. The hotel is very busy for the entire summer so I recommend you book well in advance.

We wanted to rent at this hotel since we had a family reunion in Perth. When we went on their site and called they said they had no more rooms so we rented outside of Perth, 20 minutes away. But it's a good thing that the next day we decided to go in person because on their web site they said they had no more room but a search on Expedia told us that there were rooms available at this hotel. So we went in person and we got rooms with a 10% off because we are members of CAA. The room I got (409) was amazing, large, clean, comfortable bed, immaculate bathroom, very quiet. I would go back anytime. Only down is the small parking

Chose this hotel because of the terrible review from the Hockey parents and the gm's response. I can't tell you how many hotels we stayed at with this same problem and they did not do a thing. I"m not paying for a room to be awoken by kids playing hockey in the hall at 6am. Nice that this hotel stands up for the peace & quiet for all guests. Had a very relaxing stay, nice breakfast, staff was fantastic. Great hotel, walking distance from everything down town. Enjoyed our stay.

Very clean hotel, it is new. Staff is also friendly and the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. They have a restaurant in the hotel which I didn't attend myself but my colleague stated that it was very good. The hotel is also nicely situated.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend to attend a wedding. Nice room, clean hotel, nice location. I went to the Spa and Hair studio for a manicure and a basic shampoo and blow dry. The manicure was fine, the staff was friendly, nice looking spa. Now onto the hair salon. This is supposed to be an Aveda concept salon with full Aveda products and techniques and as the snarky management who responds to all the Trip Advisor reviews has stated a "world class Aveda salon" with staff who train regularly at Aveda institutions. Well, maybe this level of "expertise" works in small town Perth, but I have been going to Aveda salons exclusively (Civello in Toronto and the amazing Acqua Salon in Guelph) for 15 years and I also happened to work for Aveda's distributor in Canada (Collega) as a product trainer out of the head office in Toronto and I can tell you, this salon is NOT up to Aveda standards. First off, the shampoo assistant did not use a shampoo that would be recommended for my hair - she used Rosemary Mint which is extremely drying on hair like mine. I mentioned this shampoo does not work well with my hair and I didn't like it, but she proceeded to use it anyway. As someone who has trained extensively with the Aveda professionals in the training centre and the Institute in Toronto, this was disappointing. Not only did the assistant clearly not have the proper training for product selection on a customer, but also didn't listen to the client. The experience is extremely important to Aveda's concept and the shampoo is one of those experiences - it was not the regular Aveda shampoo technique. I also requested a toner and provided the exact formula my personal stylist uses at my Aveda salon back home. The colorist did not take the notes with her and now my hair is not only a shade darker, it's also warm/yellow in tone, when the toner requested was designed to keep my highlights bright and to tone down any brassiness. I get this treatment several times a year and it has never looked this dull. In the 40 minutes I spent in this salon, they managed to ruin a $400 head of highlights I just received from my master level Aveda stylist in Toronto. I now have brassy and dull hair. I compared photos from the day before and I am very upset with how much the poor technique has ruined my colour. Now to the blowout - should be simple right? It was flat and frizzy, plus the stylist didn't have the requested product to try to fix the bad blowout. She kept commenting on my flyaways - which I never have when I do it myself. We had to walk over the spa and get a tester off the merchandise wall (which she couldn't even locate, I did within 30 seconds, as I am well acquainted with both the product and merchandising). I had to go upstairs and shower, do my blow out and flat iron over again using my own Aveda products. The result: bouncy, shiny and not a hint of frizz, like every time I do it MYSELF or have an experienced Aveda pro do it. You walk out of a regular Aveda salon looking like a movie star with the most gorgeous hair. Here, I looked like I had been caught in a downpour on the way out of the salon - hair plastered to my head and frizzy. I just wrote a novel, and I never do this, that is how upset I was at the experience. I have had nothing but amazing results with Aveda products and stylists, that's why I've continued to patronize them for over a decade. I also believe in the products and the experiences they aim to provide - I have been an advocate for the products for years and I worked for the company educating staff about the ingredients and techniques to help customers look their best. This staff needs some extensive training and the product knowledge was subpar. Please do not judge Aveda if you have a similar bad experience at the Parkside Inn Hair Studio.

Good average experience, Clean facility, food experience fine, clean rooms and facility, parking can be a bit of a problem if the hotel is near capacity, reception staff good but luggage carts difficult to obtain. good location with adjacent park and dining opportunities

Stayed 2 nights. Rooms and service were very good. The only drawback was being able to hear the music playing at the wedding reception that was being held on site. I'm not used to noise at night so it kept me awake. However, my daughter who is used to living in a noisy environment had no trouble.

We stayed at the Best Western at Perth Ontario and upon arrival were warmly received. The young lady at the desk provided us with all he details concerning the amenities, the pool and spa, the buffet and other. She was extremely courteous and thorough in her explanations. T poll and spas were clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was excelllent and certainly affordable. Hot food was replenished regularly. The person at the front desk also assisted us in finding our way around town. This hotel is located close the to museum and small little unique shops. I would go back again!

Overall the hotel experience was great. Was disappointed in the pool and hot tub area. Wonderful location to walk the streets of Perth. Very historic town to visit and stay. The shops are unique and the staff friendly.

The hotel is very very nice, their rooms are huge! Located right beside beautiful Stewart Park, lots of great places to see and visit within walking distance. We used the adjacent Aveda spa which was also very good. Staff was very friendly and courteous. We love coming to Perth, in my opinion its the cutest little town in Ottawa valley!

Stayed 3 nights for solo mini-vaca/spa getaway. Beautiful hotel adjacent to gem of Stewart Park. Right in centre of Perth for easy walk to shops, park, and restaurants. Staff top notch, spa service and staff excellent, pool pleasantly empty (not large but does the trick), hot tub and steam room as well. Suite nice park view, huge, and spotless. Convenient kitchenette. Could have used fans in bathrooms and suite lacking fireplace but overall well laid out and comfortable. If they install fireplace would be back fall/winter as well as summer!

We were here for four weeks. The staff was wonderful -- friendly, caring, efficient. The rooms were pleasant with good views; some had decks facing the park. The pool, hot tub and sauna were well-maintained and clean. The restaurant was good. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast area with its view of Stewart Park and the river. The park directly behind the hotel was an amazing bonus. I walked every day and often read on one of the benches if there was sun. The old downtown with its many restaurants, cafes and tea rooms was a block away. I loved Perth and this hotel!

Excellent hotel! Spacious rooms with up to date decor. Friendly service at front desk and from housekeeping. Plenty of parking. Wish I had time to visit the restaurant and spa! Bed was very comfortable.

I guess I prefer 4* hotels, I would consider this a 3. The room was very large but the carpet smelled like sweaty feet. Probably due to the humidity of late but I think a thorough carpet cleaning would be a good idea. Beds were comfortable but my partner had trouble not getting a comfortable pillow. The fridge could have been colder and there was no fan in the bathroom? The room rate was jacked up to $202 I guess because the Stewart Park Festival on. The pleasant surprise was the breakfast in the morning. There is no free breakfast with the room, however you are given $5 coupon (per person) to be used in the restaurant on the premises. The 1 egg breakfasts and fruit bowl for example cost $5. So all we ended up paying for was the coffee!!! Nice. The pool was a nice temp but very chloriney.

Stayed one night with a colleague for a meeting the next morning. We were presently surprised by the Best Western in Perth. Wonderful location in the middle of this small historic town! Beautiful large rooms, toiletries, small fridge, microwave and lots of room to move. There is a nice gym, no too big, but does the job. Beautiful pool, spa and hairdresser services. Nice restaurant and meetings rooms. Free parking and close to great restaurants.

This is a very clean, well run hotel. The setting is lovely. We were disappointed to learn this year that breakfast is no longer included. We were very happy with the buffet breakfast offered in previous years. The current restaurant selections are limited to eggs and pancakes.

I have stayed at this hotel 5 times in the past year and it's always been clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Only negative was second last time hot tub had no jets and this time it did however there was a ring around the pool and hot tub but I still was able to enjoy the facilities.

Beautiful location in central Perth on the park. The most comfortable bed and pillows ever. Very clean, quiet and up to date with very friendly and helpful staff. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

This is the third year in a row that my husband and I have stayed, to find some relaxation. We are booked again for next year. The hotel is within walking distance of so amazing restaurants and shopping. Stewart Park is close by. Perth ON really pulls out the stops for hospitality to visitors to the town, and this Best Western does the same. Comfortable accommodation, indoor pool, whirlpool, restaurant and so much more.

We have stayed here now for 5 weeks. What a beautiful location for such an incredible hotel. There is absolutely nothing negative that can be said about this place. The staff are amazing! Michael, on the front desk is the epitome of professional and welcoming, as were all the staff. We just happened to see him more often. Every staff member greeted us with smiles. Our suite was awesome with a huge soaker tub and walk in shower. The pool and hot tub in the spa were extremely clean and well cared for. When in the Perth/Smiths Falls area, we usually stay at the Best Western in Smiths Falls. On this unpleasant trip, we decided to stay at the Best Western in Perth, out of necessity. Although the hotel and grounds were pleasant and our room adequate, I noted several items which would prevent us from staying at this property again. First, the front desk representative never acknowledged my Diamond Elite status, secondly, we encountered an handicap parking issue which was not resolved, despite bringing it to the attention of the front desk personnel twice, and lastly the fact that we had to pay for breakfast (despite the $5.00 off cupon). In my thirty years of staying at Best Western hotels, we have never had that happen. Additionally, I received an email from Mr. Brian [-], general manager regarding our stay. I replied to Mr. [-], articulating my concerns, but never received a response. In any future visit to the Perth area, we will not stay at this Best Western, but rather stay at the Best Western in Smiths Falls.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Parkside for a Stay and Play Golf Vacation and couldn't have been more pleased. The hotel itself has all the features necessary for an enjoyable stay. Booking, check-in and check-out all went smoothly. The hotel is clean, comfortable and within easy walking distance to numerous great restaurants. What more could you ask.

No surprises / Beautiful hotel and location / The staff is very friendly and the food in the restaurant is amazingly delicious . I really enjoy this hotel for business nights and personal nights because it is a romantic setting in a romantic town . This hotel is a 5 minute walk from down town where there are restaurants , shopping , water parks for kayaking and many festivals that Perth celebrates monthly .

Great location overlooking large park, excellent rooms and services. Breakfast provided with ample choices delivered by friendly staff. Lots of good restaurants and town considered one of nicest in Ontario

this hotel was very clean and beautiful. the grounds outside are amazing, located right beside the river and in the middle of beautiful downtown Perth. The pool was great, and I can't wait to come back and check out their spa! the prices were very reasonable. the room was clean and had everything we needed, and the hotel staff were very friendly and professional.

The staff were excellent. They were friendly, helpful, welcoming and all loved my dog. I felt they went out of their way to May my short stay and excellent experience. The dog friendly room was tasteful and clean.

We held our wedding weekend at the Perth Best Western Parkside Inn and Spa. We used the Spa, the Salon, and the ceremony was outside beside the beautiful park. Our reception was in the hotel as well as our suite. Many of our guests also stayed at the hotel. Our experience from the planning to the execution was fantastic. Janet was great to work with and all the staff were energetic, helpful and accommodating. Rob and Jim at Slackoni's delivered a wonderful meal (3 selections) that was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Derek of Driftwood Music was an excellent DJ and kept the party hoping. We cannot say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. Courteous, polite, accommodating, helpful, just super. My wife and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a place to host an event that will be enjoyed by the hosts and all guests. Thank you so much. Robert and Caroline

Outdoor and indoor celebration was well orchestrated and incredibly invited for attendees. Staff allowed us/the attendees to enjoy the event by ensuring many needs were met. By the pool, at the Spa, in the gazebo, and witnessed Accessibility - thank you. It was a great experience.

Stayed here for a wedding in town, so a lot of us from all over the world in the hotel. On check-in told that the rules had changed so no breakfast included, only given a $5 dollar voucher after protest. The person on duty blamed the fact we had booked through a third part website, but this was the same for other family who had booked direct. Went to breakfast the next day with other family which seemed to completely blow their minds...waited one and a half hours for breakfast without any apology apart from the kitchen is hectic! Surely a restaurant should be used to dealing with larger parties and a full hotel? Room was fine, but felt that customer service definitely needs attention as we were told that we should have called the hotel directly to make our booking...from the UK, and when I said that should not make any difference, offered free calls back to the UK, despite all our family being there! To be honest, this was the most expensive hotel during a two week trip, including one in a city centre, the only one that insisted on being paid in full up front and the worst customer service we experienced.

We spent three nights here and it was lovely. Large room, clean and comfortable bed and pillows. Good quality towels and toiletries. Received a ten dollar coupon for each night to use for breakfast. We are early birds so never had a problem getting breakfast. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced compared to some other hotels. There was an event on in the large room next to the breakfast room and we had been told there might be a delay but we were served and out before it started. Parking was a problem when we arrived due to the event being held however it was quickly solved. Didn't use the spa but went to the hairdresser, very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel back on to a beautiful park which we enjoyed. Would stay again.

This little town is just awesome!! Great people, great restaurants, great ambiance!! The drive in was also a very nice scenery!! The farm lands and the nice roads leading to town were just great!! The hotel rooms with their air bubble bath are spacious and fell very welcoming.

It is a good hotel, probably with the best location if you are staying in Perth. Reception Staff is friendly, pool and fitness are are adequate. Easy walking access to the town and parks. If there are events going on in the hotel it can be difficult to find parking.

Tucked in downtown Perth, Best Western Perth is a modern and comfortable spa hotel. The brand "Best Western Plus" is probably fitting at this location as it is a step up from typical Best Western. I must say that the most impressive feature of this hotel is its idyllic setting. The hotel is adjacent to a beautiful Stewart Park complete with numerous pedestrian bridges crossing small downstream river. A walk in this quiet and peaceful park should be a considered must if staying at this property. This hotel is well serviced, maintained and clean. We are quite happy by our oversized king room which is furnished by a jetted tub and topped with heated tile in the bathroom. One slight letdown is that breakfast is no longer included in the room rate (despite web reservation indicating otherwise) - however, breakfast seems to be reasonably priced at the now third party operated restaurant in the hotel (sub $15) We also utilized the spa and found the service quality and amenities to be pretty basic but reasonable value nonetheless Overall, we found Best Western Perth to be an decent choice for a relaxing weekend getaway. It is situated around 4 hours from Toronto and 1 hour from Ottawa

The check-in staff were very friendly, and both check-in and check-out was easy. The rooms were clean, and the amenities were acceptable. The breakfast, however, was EXTREMELY disappointing. It took over an hour and a half (really!) for food to arrive because they were also making food for another event. It was unacceptable, and the waitresses made poor excuses rather than simply apologizing. The restaurant service reflects poorly on the hotel. Other than that, it was a nice stay and the hotel staff were very helpful.

Overall the hotel fine. Great location in the heart of Perth's quaint downtown, walking distance to everything. We enjoyed the pool and steam room. We didn't try the restaurant as there are great ones nearby (Bistro 54 is a must!) We booked a king size, park view room which in itself was as expected. Comfortable bed, nice pillow selection, clean. However, room 403 is located next to the air intake ventilation system for the restaurant 3 floors below. The noice that it generated was like having a washing machine on spin cycle running constantly! When we first arrived we asked to change rooms but none were available. Management assured us that the fan would be turned off in the evening. Didn't happen, all night long, the noice ....no sleep. The next morning we complained again to management and they assured us they would speak to the restaurant's owner as the restaurant is not owned by Best Western. The noice lasted all day then at 10 pm it finally shut down! Was able to relax and sleep until 5:30 am when the system was up and running. The hotel said they would try to have the owners of the restaurant find a way to resolve the problem. I think Best Western should condemn room 403 altogether.

The hotel meets all Best Western Standards except the change with a hot breakfast. You only receive a voucher for $5 dollars now . PLEASE BRING BACK THE WALK IN ,HELP YOURSELF BREAKFAST. The rooms are very nice and lots of room for two.. The front desk(Mike) was very helpful all night. We had a good sleep.

Stayed there last summer for a wedding (mine) and we booked a number of rooms for guests. Great boutique hotel with free parking. Beautifully located next to Stewart Park. Get a park side, top floor room. Highly recommended for a romantic weekend getaway....walk to everything. Was originally built as a boutique hotel and bought by Best Western. Full spa services and a nice salt water pool with steam room and hot tub.

I ended up staying in Perth on my way home from the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario after a close friend's grand daughter passed away suddenly. I was exceptionally tired and of course still somewhat in shock. The desk clerk gave me a compassionate rate due to the circumstances. The hotel restaurant despite closing when we arrived, stayed open for us and prepared a great meal for us. The waitress was amazing, outgoing and truly compassionate. The room was exceptionally comfortable. There were two queen beds both of high quality memory foam. Pillows gallore. Room was clean and will stocked with supplies. Bathroom had a tub/shower combo with a jacuzzi. Room was quiet even though it was a Friday night and was packed. Over all, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at by far.

My husband and I had such a peaceful stay in the Best Western Plus Perth. To be honest, the hotel was one of the best parts of our trip! We had a spacious, inviting hotel room with sunlight spilling in through the windows. Our oversized room also featured a large bathroom with heated floors. Outside you'll find beautiful grounds that feature a body of water and two bridges flanked by tall trees. We walked in the hotel's backyard every day to enjoy being with nature and the tranquility. Downstairs you'll find the welcoming Parkside Spa, which we visited as well. The main floor is quiet and clean, offering access to Slackoni, the onsite restaurant. We were within easy walking distance of the main street (a few minutes away) and were able to have food delivered to our door. This is easily one of the best hotels we've ever visited, and we would stay here again!

Everything was great the spa and the room, room was very clean and the bed was very comfy. everything was in walking distance, great restaurants close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful, would recommend this hotel to anyone

Hotel is in an excellent location - right downtown, within an easy walk/block of many restaurants and boutique stores. Rooms are clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to help me with meeting room needs. Although there are many closeby restaurants, because of the rain, I ended up eating at the hotel restaurant and the food there is awesome! I had the mediterranean plate for lunch and the salmon for supper - both meals were some of the best I have ever had.

My husband and I would definitely recommend the Best Western Plus in Perth ONTARIO. The staff was very friendly and very professional. The room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. We will stay there again, no question !!!

I have stayed here quite a few times but my last 2 visits have been th best! There is an oveflow "White House" behind the hotel, which is a century old building. The rooms are spacious, with hardwood floors. It is quiet and delightful, for the same price as the main hotel. The only downside is that you dont earn BW rewards in the white House but its worth t! Breakfas s still included as it is in the main hotel.

Room was clean and comfortable, beds were excellent. Our room looked onto the front entrance roof, and we didn't have a view. The location was beautiful, breakfast was good, a nice variety. However, the breakfast staff was rude and grumpy, telling people to hurry up, eat and get out. The rooms were expensive compared to other Best Westerns, and didn't have any extra amenities to warrant the cost.

Upon my brother's death, a family member reserved a block of rooms at this hotel for a price reduced by $30. One side of the hotel had views onto a beautiful creek and park. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and the bathtubs in every room were deep jacuzzis. Breakfast had many options, and the gluten-free cinnamon raisin bread was outstanding. They also had gluten-free cereal. Staff were efficient and polite. Each room had a mini refrigerator.

Stayed with a friend last minute for a girls night out. Was very happy with experience. Hotel was very clean, well decorated, excellent breakfast (called continental but had waffles, oatmeal, eggs etc as well), with a lovely pool. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Came here for a work conference and when I told the front desk that I had asked for my own room, they quickly found one for me when my reservation had me sharing a room. I much appreciated the quick and easy resolution to the problem. Made the rest of my conference stress free.

Stayed for a 2 day conference. Room was lovely, wifi seemed fine, bed was very comfortable, room was clean and the bathroom was exquisite. The therapeutic tub was a welcoming sight at the end of a very long day. A good location for a conference, with Codes Mill across the street. Although we found the conference rooms to be poor- people coming and going thru the end of 1 room as the only route to another speaker was quite distracting. And one speaker and group much louder was very over-bearing the speaker in adjoining room. I guess Breakfast room converted to Conference room doesn't work so well in this case. Many who stayed for the conference found it very irritating that all keys stopped working for your room door at 11am which is check-out time. Many went back to rooms between workshops (around lunchtime) to checkout to find out they could not get in to get their luggage. One would think the hotel would be sure to let participants know ahead of time so they don't miss the start of the next workshop by running around trying to get their luggage. In addition because there was a special rate for the conference attendees, some slack could have been offered on check-out time since it is a very busy time for all participants of the conference. Also thought price is way to expensive in comparison of other area facilities. Couple of lovely little motels on Hwy. 7 are half the price, although admittedly no therapeutic tub.

With various meeting rooms, available equipment, free high speed wifi, comfy and clean rooms this hotel is the perfect place to host a conference not to mention having the gorgeous Codes Mill across the road for larger groups. We would even come back for a vacation to enjoy the pool, hottub, spa and local scenery and cool shops. Wish I had taken some photos very pretty! Even has a park with picnic area and playground for families!

This hotel is such a pretty addition to the pretty downtown Perth area. You can walk to everything. The rooms are so spacious and clean. I didn't use the spa or pool so can't say but I assume they are equally nice. Perth is so historic but you can see that this new building just suits it's environment and has been built with the town in mind. It's right on the pretty Tay River so you can walk out from the hotel right into Stewart Park. The room had a microwave and mini fridge. I really enjoyed our stay

This hotel is nice enough but I'd love to know when these hotels are going to provide internet services that work well. The internet keeps freezing, making it impossible to works or a business traveler like me.

For small town Perth, the Best Western Plus was a real nice surprize. Beautifully appointed rooms, great and friendly staff, nice pool and steam room, and conveniently located in the heart of downtown historic Perth.

This is a very nice hotel and in new condition. It appears to be the only hotel of its quality and type in Perth. Being right on Stewart Park it was an ideal location and very central to the down town area. We found that the lighting in the hotel room bathroom was very poor and hard to put make-up on or shave. Otherwise no problems were encountered. Price is high for the room.

This hotel was immaculate. Every inch of this hotel was clean and beautiful. We were there for a wedding and our room was large, clean and quiet. For those who would like a beautiful location for a wedding and a reception this is the best place. The property around the hotel is stunning! I would like to return to this hotel in the future for a couples getaway as there is a spa in the hotel and the local attractions are beautiful. This hotel is the place to stay for anyone visiting Perth.

One of the Nicest Best Western properties I have ever stayed at. The room was a large with a king bed in it . The room was very clean and came with a mini refrigerator. The lobby and the grounds are wonderful. The back of the hotel backs out onto the beautiful Stewart Park in the middle of town. The place was very clean and best of all the staff were very very friendly and helpful. This is the place to stay when visiting Lanark County.

My husband and I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff, the room , the location was fabulous. Very clean and upscale hotel. We enjoyed it free continental breakfast walk right outside the door to Stewarts Park which is something to see and we also had a view of it from our room. Very nice we would definitely go back there again.

This central-located hotel in beautiful downtown Perth is a tranquil location to relax. The whirlpool tub in a glistening bathroom is just what you need before sinking into the plush bed. There is a lovely indoor pool accessed with your hotel key, and a spa for extra pampering if you are so inclined. Be sure to get the free parking permit to put on your dashboard as the spa is popular with locals. It is an easy walk to The Studio Theatre, local stores and restaurants. I plan to book here next time we are in town for a show.

We really liked this hotel. We loved the location right in the heart of Lovely Perth Ontario. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, spacious and the beds were so comfy! We had a spa tub!! Our room, 313 was a bit unlucky as the air conditioner was noisy but we got thru it! Breakfast was a tad boring with toast , sausage and scrambled both mornings! There is a pool, but we didn't have time to enjoy it! Maybe next time? I would stay here again, just not in room 313!
