Best Western Paramus Hotel & Suites

The people working where very friendly and help full .when we needed an extra blanket and towels they where quick to respond. The breakfast everything was fresh and hot . It was nice waking up and being able to grab a coffee before starting our day. The room appeared to be clean and neet.

Was initially given a room that was damp, reeked of mold and had a huge fan/dehumidifier still actively running in the middle of the room. Was given a new room but the key didn't work. Finally got a key that worked and was met with a horribly outdated room - floors falling apart, halfway cleaned, and the smallest pillows I've ever seen. And I mean throw pillow sized. Maybe 12 inches by 12 inches. Five throw pillows and no normal pillows. I was told that's the only kind of pillow they have. It's hard to explain unless you see it. Might be worth the trip just to experience these tiny little fun sized pillows not even coming close to covering the width of the bed. Anyway. Avoid this place and its moldy old rooms and tiny pillows.

New and clean better than the other assumed better hotels. It is definitely my families new go to when getting last min rm or planning a trip. Highly recommended depending on the reason for traveling. :) will be staying at one on the next afmilia venture.

Our stay was nice, enjoyable and relaxing. The rooms are updated nicely. The staff was very accommodating. The breakfast area was nicely furnished and comfortable. The staff sees that you have everything you need for breakfast. If anything runs out, they promptly replenishes it. It was just a good all around stay. We will stay here agai

The hotel itself is very nice - rooms are well appointed and the breakfast is your standard Best Western breakfast. I liked the fact that there was a combo bath/shower and plenty of towels. Quiet despite the fact that there was a lot of traffic nearby. What I did not like was the hwy 17 traffic. The hotel is right on a freeway and you have to accelerate quickly 50- 60 mph to safely merge into traffic. There is a traffic barrier, no stop lights, and no way to safely get to the other side of the road without a 2 mile u turn or 10 minute uber ride.

Brooke at the front desk was professional, welcoming, warm, helpful and friendly. The room was clean & odor free. I slept so well and yes I loved the pillows. I couldn't figure out how to turn on the heat called the front desk and the maintenance person was there within seconds showed me how to work it he too was friendly and helpful! I will definitely recommend Best Western.

Everything was really nice. Rooms were clean, check in and check out went very smoothly. Breakfast was good. The shower's were really nice with lots of pressure. The only troubling thing about our stay was getting into the parking lot as it was tough with the entrance ramp right before the entrance to the motel.

Great experience from check in throughout the whole time we spent. Allan was especially helpful with information regarding the area. The room was nice and clean and recently renovated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was located right off Rt 17 and close to GSP. Perfect for traveling North NJ.

The rooms were immaculately clean. Some of the furnishing could use repair and replacing but I can't stress enough how clean everything was. The linens were white and crisp. Having breakfast included was amazing. Great selection and again the cafe was super clean and comfortable and a shout out to the super friendly and accommodating front desk staff. I will definitely stay again when visiting

It can be much more expensive than it was last last year at the same time. And the room (a king) was quite small. I'm an elite of the Best Western rewards program so I like Best Westerns. If you're on a salt restricted diet you may find it difficult to have a full breakfast. Also, the coffee was better in previous years. It was fairly quiet.

Gentlemen at desk when I checked in very helpful and professional. I believe his name is Edmund or Edward. Could not be a better representative of BW. Excellent Hotel is clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Staff very helpful. Clean and welcoming

I cannot remember the name of the nice gentleman who checked us in at around 9:30 pm on July 29th. Kishan? Anyway. He was very very nice, very helpful. We couldn't figure out how to close the drapes (!) so he came to our room and didn't for us and didn't make us feel stupid. Ha! Very nice stay

If you want a clean hotel choose this a visited best western Paramus and best western in Ramsey and is the same price but totally different the best Wes Ramsey is terrible experience smell like cigarettes everywhere and is dirty , loud people at 1 to 3 am please do not choose Ramsey The best of the best is BEST WESTERN PARAMOUS same price and is a amazing experience very clean Good breakfast I coming from Florida and I recommend 100% this hotel REMEMBER is in PARAMOUS New Jersey The staff are very friendly

Great location and friendly staff! The check in process was easy as pie and had a nice self serve snack area! 24 hour coffee and tea was a huge perk as we arrived late! Breakfast was ample and delicious! Only thing I didn't like was the small pillows on the bed! Other than that, the place was spotless and comfy and great deal

I didn't catch the name of the gentleman that worked the afternoon/evening shift but he was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful to my needs. My room was spotless when I arrived and the daily service left it looking good. The bathroom was clean and bright. Nicest I've seen in a long time. The bed was very comfortable and I slept surprisingly well for being in a hotel. If I had to change anything it would be the pillows. They are very comfortable but they were half sized and I don't care for that. 4.99/5 stars

I loved the clean, comfortable room. The king bed was perfect and the linens had a very fresh scent. The hotel is nicely updated, and the morning breakfast left nothing else to be desired. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would return to this location!

I was greeted by such a welcoming receptionist who spoke & laughed with my kids & made us all feel so safe! Younger kids tend to get the side eye in places where people want to rest, but we felt very welcomed and our entire experience here was lovely. Clean room, clean bathroom & whirlpool was great! Shout out to the receptionist🥰

I honestly wasn't expecting much just looking at the hotel from outside but it's actually really nice inside, everything was clean and organized and hotel staff was super friendly and got us checked in right away, we stayed on the upper level, the stairs are carpet which was nice and the hallways and doors are super aesthetic and pretty and the room was absolutely gorgeous!!! Especially the bathroom, beautiful white lighting great for taking selfies!!! But the room itself was super clean and smelled fresh, and it was so quiet and peaceful, absolutely amazing!! but I do have a few minor complaints the pillows are kind of small and the breakfast was a little mid but there was a wide variety atleast, the juices were good though and If there's a lot of traffic you might have a difficult time getting to the actual hotel but other than that I had a very pleasant experience with my boyfriend!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the room maintained a perfect, cool temperature. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive to all my needs. If I find myself in this area again, I would definitely choose to stay here.

The gentlemen at the front desk was so helpful. I mean beyond helpful, I had three young kids that had plenty of requests and he didn't hesitate every time I showed up at the front desk, with a big smile on his face. Devin is his name, thank you for your help brother.

Rooms and hotel were very clean. The beds were very comfortable and loved the pillows. The breakfast had a variety of options and the service from the employees was great. Best part is that the rooms are affordable. Third time staying here and will definitely revisit in the future.

Everything about this hotel was spectacular! Stayed with a group of 48 high school students annd chaperones. Every staff member was friendly and helpful! The breakfast was fantastic! The breakfast area is big. Will definitely stay here again!

Good breakfast food. Easy access to NYC. Comfortable beds & pillows. Very small bathroom - really, one person only. Good room: clean, good layout, large entryway, wish it had a bench in that entryway. Two chairs in the room. Laminate floors (no carpet), good lighting, reasonably quiet A/C with easy controls.

In comparison to the other options nearby, this was a little more expensive, but worth it, and I'll return. The things that matter to me most—as good a free breakfast as you'll find, very clean room and breakfast area, good water pressure in the shower, comfortable bed, and an A/C unit that stays on a constant setting (as opposed to kicking on and off in the night), it checked all the boxes. Also I appreciated the text alerts about the upcoming stay, etc. any one of the above can be a relatively small thing on its own, but this hotel got them all right, and all together that means something to me. I appreciated the value.

Room was great, customer service was great, breakfast was great, but the bathroom was cold for some reason. There was also no hot water in the morning. Marijuana smell in the hall.

Very comfortable room. Spent one night on way to Delaware. The room was clean with good shower and was very reasonable priced. Not fancy but perfect for a one night stay. Did not try the breakfast. Heat worked well. Hotel was non descript in a strip mall area. Would stay again. Check in was quick.

A great reception at the front desk. The room was fresh and clean. I was pleased overall. Adjacent to a Red Lobster for convenient dining. It was a quiet location on a Saturday night. For the price, cleanliness and convenience of location it checks all boxes.

The experience was very good. Room was comfortable I can say that S. DeJesus was very helpful. She did her best to accommodate my concerns and wishes. Very helpful and considerate. Ms. DeJesus is a wonderful representative of Best Western.

Very polite and helpful people. Handicap accessible room was ready early, very clean. I always stay here when I visit family. Convenient location, very easy access from Garden State Parkway. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed the convenient location for getting into New York City via bus, and/or shopping in Paramus, NJ. Liked the breakfast area and 24/7 coffee availability. Fitness Center was good. Hotel does not have elevator, but requested in advance a first floor room and received it. Very helpful staff. To enter the parking lot, a driver must be careful in first merging with exiting traffic from the Garden State Parkway.

Great place. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean. You get 10%off at the attached red lobster. Free breakfast with stay, fitness center looked pretty nice. The hotel is located right on rt.17 and surrounded by plenty of places to eat, restaurants, gas...etc.

Room was fine - receptionist was very rude - non English speaking staff wouldn't recommend based on overpriced and a lot of noise in halllways by cleaning staff when we were trying to sleep - room was not ready

Pleasantly better than expected. Very clean, larger room. AC worked great, front desk very nice. Typical free breakfast. Place was quiet despite being right on Rte 17. Downside for some may be that there is no elevator, so stairs if you are on the second floor.

This hotel is very convenient for us so we like to stay when we visit our family in Oradell. Two issues: Entrance to the hotel parking lot is a challenge when traffic volume is high. Breakfast is OK, nothing special. More importantly, friendly staff and very clean.

I was on vacation to visit my friend and family in New York I choose that hotel 30min away from New York and I didn't regret it. The place is safe and quiet also has a lot of stores and restaurants around. I had couple friends from New York who came over to see it and also liked it and planning on moving in the area.

Great place to stay. Tasty hot breakfast, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. The staff were always available if we had questions or needed to extend our stay. Breakfast offered a lot of variety with fresh and hot eggs every day!

Angelina saved the day for us. We had problems locating the hotel. Over the phone, Angelina provided me with very helpful and cheerful guidance. The Best Western website has the wrong street address for Best Western Paramus Hotel and Suites. With Angelina's help, we found the hotel. After we got to the lobby of the hotel, Angelina promptly noticed that my partner uses a wheelchair. Angelina very quickly made arrangements for us to occupy a room on the first floor since the hotel does not have an elevator and my partner can neither ascend nor descend stairs. Also, when I arrived, I gave my name to Angelina to retrieve my reservation on her computer. She could not find it. So, I presented my hard copy of the reservation. Then, Angelina asked me if the reservation was perhaps under another name. At that point, I realized that I made the reservation under my partner's name and not my name. Angelina solved all our problems quickly and cheerfully. We found Angelina both helpful and very friendly. You have a real asset at your organization in Angelina.

This was my second time of a great stay at the Best Western hotel. Was nice and clean quiet and private with a great size Jacuzzi and a high pressure shower. will definitely come back! Thank you very much!

The Jacuzzi was our favorite, great size, great functionality. The room had great space (just needed a better closet), was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could use ventilation to avoid hazards but other than that, everything was great. Definitely coming back!

Very clean and recently renovated, and old motel location completely re-done on the inside. Rooms were small but everything was there that we needed. We rented three adjacent rooms with family. Breakfast very good, hot and cold, eggs, tangerines, apples. One unfortunate issue is pulling from a parking lot, no ramp dead stop, onto Route 17 with cars and trucks speeding by 50-60 mph 24 hours a day.

The night Manager Alan was great. The young woman managing breakfast was great. The cleaning staff were efficient. I stayed three nights total, having to extend my stay another night. There was no problem extending my stay. I will strongly consider Best Western when I am traveling in the future.

Another great stay at the Best Western hotels! My wife and I had a wonderful stay and were very pleased to find a jacuzzi tub in the room as well. There was a great breakfast selection and I loved the 24 hour coffee and hot cocoa station.

We arrived around 2:30 (check in is 4) and the clerk was very nice and found us two rooms so we could check in early. We were on the 2nd floor (only 2 floors) with no elevator (not a deal breaker for us). We had King rooms (2) which were spacious except for the bathrooms. The sink had little counter space. The fridge had a freezer, and there was a microwave and coffee maker. Air conditioner was good. The bed felt hard, but I travel with a mattress pad so it was ok for me. There is 24 hour coffee in the lobby. The biggest complaint was the smoke detector in the room making a snapping/clicking noise - almost like static from a radio. When I asked the front desk they seemed to indicate it's normal for their rooms. So, no point in switching rooms. My son's room did the same thing. We were there for 4 nights so I didn't get much sleep. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Would only stay one night if needed, but probably won't stay here again.

Nice hotel in New Jersey. We only stayed for the night but it was very nice and clean. The employees were very friendly and helpful, they seemed happy to work there. It was nice that the Red Lobster was in the same parking lot.

I traveled with my two small kids and husband and I'm our check in the staff was very dry and showed no hospitality. We were told our room was upstairs with no elevator and we had two small kids with us, this is very inconvenient. The hallway smelled like someone was smoking and the room next to us were up talking loudly until almost 5am. The worse was the next day while we were getting ready to leave, housekeeping came knocking on my door at 10:30am I told her we didn't check out yet. She came back at 11:01 and kept knocking on my door, unopened and was told it was 11am and I needed to check out. I felt harassed and so unprofessional. They stood outside my door until we came out. Very rude and unwelcoming.

Very clean and updated HD flats screen TV was a good size and worked well. PPV is available along with HBO and on demand. Coffee, fruit, rolls and cereal available for breakfast. Bathroom is a little small unless you are alone in the room. Manager is very friendly and helpful .

I had a great experience from the minute I checked in. Alan is friendly and welcoming. He was very helpful with local restaurant recommendations. My room was spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet. Breakfast provides many options from yogurt and cereal to oatmeal and waffles. The only downside is no elevator but the stairs are carpeted and there aren't too many to climb to the rooms. This would not prevent me from returning.

This location was recently remodeled. Very clean and a friendly staff. The breakfast food was always fresh and kept replenished. The entire facility is clean. The housekeepers were very friendly and made if feel like you were staying at their house.

The hotel looks like it was renovated in a rush. If you need towels, you have to come down. They won't come up to you. I got a late checkout as the highest elite member. But by checkout, housekeeping comes on the dot and asks you when you're leaving when you tell them that you have a late checkout, they tell you that they don't have late checkout. But besides that, everything was good. If they could resolve that, everything would be fine.

This property is completely renovated, rooms are like ones you see at 5plus star hotels and the prices are reasonable and they have different types of rooms to choose from. The hotel has 2 floors without an elevator, but why would you need an elevator to go up one flight of comfortable stairs it shows how LAZY people can be to give a good property a bad review for being just lazy. What do you look for in a hotel? Comfort, cleanliness a modern room and friendly staff so this Hotel checks off all the boxes. They're serving hot and cold breakfast and they have a choice of non-dairy milk and gluten free cereal for those with certain allergies what more can you ask for? No matter where I go when I'm in New Jersey I will always stay at this Hotel and the staff is incredible they go above and beyond. This is my kind of place because overall its a very clean and modernized Hotel. See for yourselves.
