Best Western Pahrump Oasis

I paid way too much for this place, but the room was large. Ask for building D if you want a room with interior access. Breakfast was at the adjoining restaurant. Good selection including French toast, bacon, potatoes, and eggs. We did not check out the pool.

We were traveling with another couple and booked our rooms at the same time. She checked in first then myself. We got directions to our rooms and off we went only to find her room was already occupied by someone else. Thankfully the people were not in the room at the time she opened the door just their belongings, she went back to the desk and was assigned another room which was to be an upgrade for the previous issues. When they entered the second room the same occurred, this room was also occupied by someone else. The hotel manager actually. They were irate and the clerk hardly apologized. They were finally given another room. I feel they should have been comped or at a minimum a discount which neither occurred. Best western is not our go to hotels and from now forward I doubt it would be. Very disappointed.

Room decor was 30 years old. TV did not work. shower water pressure was very low. Face, washcloth hanging in shower, full of pubic hair. no shower gel. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Skip breakfast and stop by McDonald's. The worst motel I have ever stayed in,

Confusing layout of the hotel, but great stay. We love the amenities! Who can turn down full bathroom needs, comfy beds/full pillows, complimentary breakfast, mini fridge/freezer combo, and microwave!

Just some bullets to save your reading and the thought of booking the Kitchen | Suite-1 King Bed room type: 1. The kitchen is a joke, no pots/pans/plates/bowls, cooktop is very weak, and the sink leaked. 2. Don't expect you will get a sofa bed. We did not get a sofa bed as advertised, front desk staff first insisted a sofa bed was in the room till invited to take a look. Afterwards, told me they would charge for a rollaway bed. 3. The room is tired like a worn-out motel room, with a wide open bath tub with no closure, be prepared to share with your bath time with everyone in the room.

I have a business when Distributor's or Clients come I will show them around. They requested a$500 cash security deposit he didn't have it so I gave it to them. Well they kept it. Saying the room smells like sage I spoke with him and he said yes he ordered from the Indian restaurant in the hotel and got the Curry Chicken with Sage. I tried to explain and they said there is nothing they could do. I said I will stay 2 more nights they said they can't cause the room has to be quarantined due to the smell of Sage.

Coming from a long trip through Death Valley we were very disappointed in this hotel and we've stayed at many Best Westerns across the country. We were not acknowledged as Elite Members nor given bottled water or anything. The room was substandard in cleanliness, beds were uncomfortable, pillows lumpy and bedding tacky. We will not be back nor recommend this hotel.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. I had a very drunk, obnoxious neighbor who decided to pleasure himself outside my door. This went on for 30 minutes. I finally yelled at him to go to bed. He then proceeded to sing Christmas songs. I called the front desk. The rude clerk at the desk told me to call the police. I knew I wasn't going to get any sleep so I packed up and left. Not only was the staff incompetent, the bathroom was filthy when I arrived. There was someone else's hair all over the floor. There were bits of trash in the corners. Brown water came out of faucet. The pool and spa are closed. The concrete barriers in parking area are broken and are tripping hazards. It's worth spending a little more money and staying at nicer places and having a pleasant experience than wasting your money on this dump.

This hotel is very clean and the staff went above and beyond good service. I am an experienced business traveler and was impressed with my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a hotel in Pahrump.

I ordered the King room with whirlpool tub which made for a relaxing evening. Very large, clean room with a kitchenette. We also enjoyed the Indian food at the attached restaurant. Staff were very helpful and friendly. This is my go-to hotel when I am in Pahrump.

Great place to stay if you are going to be in Pahrump for business or "pleasure." They had a great restaurant with Indian food, pizza, hamburgers and other choices. The night I was there they had live music. Close to all the Pahrump "attractions" and only about one hour from Las Vegas. If you are traveling to Pahrump give it a try.

We had the best time visiting my granddaughter and her family. We survived the warm weather by visiting the amazing pool daily. Even the baby enjoyed the pool! We love staying at the Best Western Pahrump Oasis.

We booked a king suite, consisting of a master bedroom with a king bed and a spacious sofa bed in the living room, for three adults. When we got there, the room looked great and it was very spacious with a nice kitchen and an incredible bathroom. We were very excited about it. However, when we deployed the sofa bed, things went downhill. The bed was constructed wrong, which meant that the metal rods that the mesh bed bottom was supposed to rest on was on top of the bed bottom. Additionally, the whole bed was angled due to the wrong construction, with the head end a solid food higher than the foot end of the bed. Finally, the mattress was very thin (maybe 4 inches), with solid metal springs all throughout it. Not only very uncomfortable, but the mattress was also worn and torn, leaving the metal springs poking out of it here and there. Safe to say, we went to the front desk to ask for a solution. The best they could do, even after complaining, was to switch us to a double queen room. Not only was this a significant downgrade in room size, but also a downgrade in bed size (king to queen). These two rooms cost the same, but definitely aren't worth the same, one having a separate master bedroom. We did not receive a (partial) refund or any other kind of offer, and could not use both rooms (even just to sleep). The sofa bed was unusable, so we were essentially forced to take the switch. The lady at the front desk was very nice to us, but unfortunately the manager was out until the morning so she did the best she could. All in all, a highly unpleasant experience as far as the sleeping situation is concerned. The look of the room, as well as the bathroom and kitchen, were great, though. For two people, the room would have been amazing, but as soon as the sofa bed is required we would absolutely look elsewhere!

I was disappointed that the Hot tub was broken. When I inquired about when it would be working I was told it had been broken for over 6 months. The pool was very dirty as well. This was the reason for staying here. The rooms and service were good.

In April of 2022, the family gathered for a funeral. There were people from different states. The first room we were assigned was awful, the 2nd was good. They were clean and the staff amazing. In particular, Angie and Blanca who staffed the morning breakfast were wonderful. Friendly and genuine - they helped me learn some Spanish and I helped them refine their English. They were definitely a highlight of our stay.

Nice check out woman. Room was just a room like any other. Very small TV. They need security. People walking around looking in peoples windows. Had a man lick his finger and wipe my vehicle emblem. Was very creepy. They allow pets in some rooms. It was quite and no one bothers you & pool has a nice view. It was just dirty. Their free breakfast is a nice touch. Not to many options but the make it yourself waffles are excellent. Strawberries were great. Sugar free option available. Lots of AM drinks available.

Comfortable, clean, quiet and restful place to stay. They were close, walking distance, to food and drinks. The staff were polite, professional and attentive to needs and concerns. We will stay there again when in the area!

The property is an older one that is well kept and updated. Plenty of parking and a nice courtyard that newer hotels do not have. A nice area to smoke my pipe after a long day on the road. A restaurant onsite, and a car wash next door. Stores and casinos nearby.

Suite was very big. Didnt use many of the amenities overall. Just needed to sleep. Buildings are a bit strange but I was just down from the lobby so wasnt hard to find. Front desk was friendly. 000000

Thought we were spending a bit more for a better experience but I don't think a stay here is worth more than $80 a night ( let alone the $150 they charge in December). The walls were super thin and the bed and pillows were terribly lumpy and worn out. We did not have a restful night here. The only positive I can think of is this town has a Taco Bell. If you are traveling to Death Valley NP stay in Beatty- cheaper, more comfortable hotels and closer to the park.

The hotel was a good value. Overall a good stay. Some issues with the room but they were minor. Staff was very professional and check in and check out was very speedy. I have stayed at the hotel a number of times over the past 6 years. Its a good value and the restaurant has really good food also. It is conveniently located to where I have to train.

I originally needed one night but ended up needing another day and it was relatively a little more than I usually pay, it was $160 to add another night. Besides that, nice, quiet place. Staff and cleaning employees were helpful.

We spent two nights at this hotel, while we visited Death Valley National Park and we were very pleased. When we first pulled up to register, I must admit, that I wasn't too sure about the place. You really can't see the hotel from the front. However, when you drive around back to the rooms, there are palms trees and a nice swimming area. The rooms were your normal Best Western rooms. We were each given a free drink at the on-site restaurant for each night of our stay. There is a little bowling alley where you can bowl for free. We didn't actually do this, but it was interesting. The breakfast each morning was very nice. The serves and the front desk staff were very pleasant. The room price was very reasonable. I would definitely stay there again if I were back in the area.

Rooms and outside grounds are clean. Staff are friendly. The Pourhouse restaurant is next door with a unique selection of American and Indian food and drinks. Pahrump is an interesting town close to the California state line. The best and fastest way to get back to California is SR-374, that goes through the desert and the outskirts of Death Valley for about 60 miles to I-15 in Baker. In Baker there is a gas station with high gas prices and a huge Tesla charging facility.

We've stayed at the hotel from August 26 to August 27 and even though it's the most basic type of Best Western hotels it's not up to standards. The rooms are small and smudgy and there were stains in the linen. The pool towels also had stains and were frayed and damaged. They looked like they hadn't been replaced in 10+ years. The complimentary breakfast didn't look good either so we skipped that.

I stayed at this hotel for one night on my way to Death Valley. We stayed at this hotel just so we could have an early start the next day in Death valley but the hotel completely ruined that. We arrived late at night. The next morning we noticed in both of the rooms that the water from the shower and the tap was super hot. So hot that it literally was impossible to even stand under the shower for a second as it would burn the skin. There was no way to make it less warm. I then called the front desk and asked her if she could give us one other room (even though we had two rooms with this issue) just so we can shower. They denied this request and said that it was not possible. The front desk really seemed at a loss as how to deal with this situation. I then asked her if she could send a mechanic/plumber. Surely after a few minutes a plumber came. He told me he couldn't find an issue and had checked all the pipes already. He however said that one of the other rooms was free and that the shower there did not have this issue. This was a surprise as the front desk denied us another room to shower. The plumber left and we tried to shower in the new room, but it had exactly the same issue even though he said this room was fine! I called the front desk again and complained about how all of this was gling. She said that she called the plumber again. When I asked her what the plumber said, she told me: “he said he is going to do something and then he hung up on me. So I don't know how long it will take and what he is going to do”. This surprised me again, because it seems like she once again was at a loss to come up with a solution. Surely enough though after a few minutes the water temperature normalized and we were able to shower. But this was once again odd, because initially the plumber said there was no cause he could find? All in all a hotel with good rooms, but customer service is far from their strongest side. We lost nearly 2 hours due to this ordeal. I hence advise fellow travelers to think twice before staying here if they value good customer service.

This property was awesome my husband and I were completely blown away by the size of the room. The breakfast was exceptionally good even though they were trimming palm trees it did not interfere with our stay at alll. We already have plans to return in the spring

The sheets were rough and scratchy The pool was great and we enjoyed it. We ate dinner in the restaurant. The food was average but good. The pizza was great. We loved the free bowling. The mattresses were old and lumpy. The sheets were scratchy. .

This hotel was a pleasant surprise for our visit to Death Valley. First, we loved all the palm trees...really did give property an oasis feel. Second, check-in was a breeze. Third, our room was huge! And that part of the hotel felt new/updated...and was very quiet. Not sure if the "motel" rooms of this property are in service, but I would definitely stay in the back, "hotel' part of the property...very quiet and beds were comfortable. Finally, the breakfast buffet was the best we had in any of the many places we stayed in on a recent trip to the southwest. Only downside was the hot tub did not work...we were looking to jump in after a long day in the national park. Definitely recommend, especially with the easy drive to/from Vegas--solid value for your money.

This hotel is located off of Highway 160 which you can take all the way into Las Vegas. There was breakfast included and parking. Free bottles of water for each guest upon check-in was nice. This is a nice location for an overnight stay one-two days. The Holiday Inn is near and the Saddlewest Hotel.There is also a RV park behind the hotel and the DMV and post office are close.

They stole my money I checked in it was unacceptable false advertising I checked out and they refused to return my money. I had to drive back home. I told the lady at front desk I just wanted a quiet place because my mother just died and I just wanted to lay by the pool or stayed in the jacuzzi that's all. It ended up being the most stressful day they made us experience even worse. False advertising no jacuzzi no pool absolutely not usable the pool maintenance room has the door wide open not locked and everything broken inside. The bed is super lumpy not sleepable and the manager agreed that they will replace it. This hotel is old run down and empty I was the only person there and they could not accommodate me in my request all I asked for was a smoking room for myself and my emotional support dog they did not have that room available but the entire hotel was empty there was only one person that was on a bicycle clearly and unhoused person staying at the hotel

Very clean quiet and comfortable rooms, offers full bar with live karaoke, the restaurants food was amazing with many options to chose from, great safe place for families, more of a laid back atmosphere. And if you want a drink you don't have to get a ride, full bar in hotel

This was supposed to be a fun overnight experience with swimming the next day. There was problems with the plumbing and the room wasn't very clean. The pool and jacuzzi were filthy. Not good at all. Next time I'll just stay home when the other hotels are booked. Poor last minute decision. Never again!!!

I agree with some of the other reviewers, bad customer experience .My main issue,I had to add a extra night so I called the motel direct, they said that they would cancel my stay and to go on line and rebook! I did what was recommended . I was double charged for one of the nights. I was apparently booked for 2 rooms and only given a key for 1 room, seems strange that I would need 2 rooms for one person as indicated on my booking.I called 4 or 5 times to resolve this with no results.The next time I called I talked to the manager and was told that I had to have proof my cancellation,I didn't record the phone call, my bad! I was also instructed to call corporate, no help there!So Im only out 100 bucks for a room I didn't get or need! I will not be staying at Pahrump Best Western or any other Best Western!

This place is clearly tired and rundown. Definitely not up to BW standards. I'm surprised they can still qualify as a BW hotel. The walls are paper thin so you can participate with the conversation of your neighbors. The A/C-heater will keep you awake unless you bring earplugs. We stayed here as it is a jump-off point for touring Death Valley. Would not stay here again.

We had decided to give this place a try, instead of our usual go-to place of SaddleWest. (Was in-town for a rope and rappel course at FrontSight.) The rooms were clean, the A/C and showers worked. Parking was excellent, as was the breakfast-kitchen/check-in staff. Also some very decent Indian food at the Pourhouse restaurant. Would stay here again.

After reporting the room next to us flooding, it took staff 2 hours to fix the flooding. Our room was flooded and we were transferred rooms. The room we received was a smaller room as we had a suite before. Hotel staff did not reconcile the price difference and referred us to Expedia. Our request for price correction/refund was later denied.

Check in was quick and easy and the staff are excellent. The room was comfortable, clean and fresh. The included breakfast includes great food, bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, etc., not just continental choices.

I paid for a king suite and got a Queen. I paid for a 2 Queen standard room and got 2 Fulls. The king rooms chair had urine or other fluid stains. This was the only place in town with a 24 hour front desk so I had to take it, if I have to come back I'll sleep in the car until the front desk of any other property in the entire town opens.

Nice hotel! Much better than I had expected. Very clean room. Comfortable bed and the pool area was lovely. Very close to everything. Nice breakfast offering in the morning which was included in the fee (nice bonus) . Had dinner there too and it was pretty decent. Would recommend if staying in Pahrump

The worst customer service ever in a Best Western. Note: I'm a BW Diamond member and regular customer. On the afternoon of arrival, I called and requested that they put aside a nice, king bed room. Lady on the phone first acknowledged but then told me that she would do nothing because I had made the reservation for two queen beds through Expedia. She brusquely told me that I had to contact Expedia, cancel my reservation and make a new one -just because I asked for a king bed!!! I then asked if she could just make a note of my preference. She said, "No. Call Expedia." Wait. There's more! Upon check out, I asked the lady, who I believe was the same person I had spoken to the day before, for a copy of my bill. Her response was, "No. Call Expedia for a copy of your bill." I said, you can't just print one out. She again refused and told me to contact Expedia!!! Breakfast is available only until 9AM. My wife and I arrived at 8:30 and they were out of half of the hot items and the place was a mess. We walked out and went to Starbucks. Add'l comments: At check-in, we were greeted by Britany. She was a delight and accommodating and made the change for us. Room was large and well appointed. Price was fair and a reasonable value.

We stayed here & drove to Death Valley. This is the worst Best Western I have ever stayed in. From our room you have walk around the buildings, 400-500 yards to get to breakfast, which wasn't very good either. The rooms need to be remodeled. They have seen better days.

The room was nice but the bathroom was not well-cleaned. The bathtub had visible footprints in it and the bottom of the toilet was dirty. We called the front desk to request a room change but they were completely booked for the night. We tried to clean the bathtub but the dirty footprints would not come out. Breakfast had a nice variety of food however the food was mediocre at best. We would not stay here again.

I reserved the room online king size bed non smoking. When we arrived there the manager gave away our room to another couple paying more. And tried to give us a double queen smoking room. This manageris in it for the money I guess its commission she gets. I wont stay there anymore , pahrump oasis. Make sure you are getting what you reserved before paying.

Nice facility, helpful staff. Large, adequate parking lot. Quiet facility -off the road. Many restaurants to choose from in close proximity. Nice size room, both a small table to eat at and a desk if you need work space. People above us on the 2nd floor had a “yippie” dog. I went to the desk to inquire if they could please get the dog owners to quiet down the dog and they were immediately on the phone to the occupants and we never heard another peep out of the dog. We are dog owners ourselves but listening to non-stop yipping after a day hiking hot trails is not relaxing. Nice breakfast buffet on site. An hour drive to Death Valley but unless you stay at one of the two resorts in the park this is your best bet.

This is a rather nice place located right in the middle of downtown. I stayed here for three nights while visiting Death Valley and the surrounding area. I arrived right at check-in and was handled by a very polite and professional young lady at the front desk. She thanked me for being a Diamond Select member and gave me my room keys as which were all set to go as the room was already assigned. The rooms are actually located in buildings behind the one that contains reception as well as a bar and a restaurant. This is easy to find and there was ample parking. My room was fine. It was larger than most hotel rooms and was very clean and well furnished. The bed was comfortable and the room also featured a decent sized refrigerator. The bathroom was split into two rooms with one containing the shower and toilet and the other containing the sink. This was a handy feature. There is an Indian restaurant on location that also has American dishes and full bar. The hotel will give you a coupon for a free drink there for each night of your stay. I ate and hanged out here each night of my stay and it was fine. Breakfast is included here and is served in the Indian restaurant. This was great and included several hot options. The staff was attentive and kept all of the food re-stocked as needed. There are also plenty of casinos, restaurants and a giant Walmart within short driving distance. As I mentioned, I stayed here while visiting Death Valley. That was an hour away from the hotel but the drive both there and back is beautiful. You also have far more options and a lot more to do here than you will inside Death Valley. So, a solid experience here and recommended when you are visiting the area.

The room is quite large, very clean. I have stayed multiple times and all the rooms have been consistently clean with everything working well... no problems with shower, drains, ac/heat, etc. Motel is well managed. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

The customer service at this hotel is excellent! The girl that checked us in gave us a lot of information about the area and made sure we have everything we needed. The rooms are a bit outdated, but they are large, and overall pretty darn clean. They offer a complementary breakfast at a restaurant on the property and that was very nice.

Stayed two nights for our visit to Death Valley. Check-in was smooth. Hotel is older but seemed clean enough. Large size room. Outdoor pool, unheated, despite advertising that it was heated. Breakfast was average, same offerings both days. Overall a pleasant stay.

Perfect location. Rooms clean and nicely appointed. The restaurant was nice. Mostly Indian cuisine but had American cuisine as well. The free breakfast was great. Hot food not just the typical cold cereal and bagels.

We were in the area for a multi day Death Valley camping trip when the weather turned. It was crazy windy and cold and actually ended up snowing. We headed out hoping to find reprieve from the weather when we found this Best Western Oasis.The staff at this hotel are very nice and helpful. We found the rooms to be bigger than most and the beds were very comparable. I think the last time I stayed at a hotel with beds close to this was over $300 a night. I would definitely stay here again.

There was a little bit of a noise issue with being close to the main road. The room was reasonably prices and was clean. Good location for Death valley national park. Impressed with the breakfast, plenty of scrambled eggs and bacon.

This BW is located away from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas but close to Death Valley National Park and other outdoor adventures. Yet Pahrump has all the necessity amenities. The breakfasts are back which is good news. The property has several low rise buildings which makes for a beautiful visual because you can see the mountains. I highly recommend this BW.

Dirty depressing drug area Noisy, dark concrete building. Doors are very very heavy to open and I slammed it on my foot. Door to room is crooked and light comes through the edges. They don't clean your room unless you find them and ask them. Pool is closed. No hot tub.

I like staying at this hotel when I'm in town. I really enjoy the roomy area for breakfast and the staff is always so nice and accommodating. They have a nice grassy spot for the dog to go potty in the back but wish they would fill the doggy bag box. There is also a car wash behind if you need to wash your vehicle.

I've been coming here over the past 3 months, because I'm having house remodeling, and the breakfast staff, Blanca,and her crew are always top notch! Always have everything ready,and when it runs out, always refilles everything with hardly no waiting time. Highly recommend to stay, rooms aren't bad either, but Blanca and her staff, are always friendly and makes you start off your day, in a smile.

The Best Western in Pahrump is a great place to stay overnight if you are traveling through Pahrump. I make Pahrump my final destination for several days and it is a great place to stay for a few days. While the hotel is older and the furniture is dated. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food at the onsite restaurant, The Pour House, is AMAZING. Try the Indian food; it is excellent!

I am a Bestwestern Diamond select member and a 20 plus year member at Front Sight I have stayed at this property many tikes in the past although this will probably be the last time 1. Dirty room : headboard has not been cleaned in a long time . The behind the bed area is filthy 2. Bedding has a strange smell to it so requested to replace it . I was giving a pile of Bedding 3. Breakfast : food was barley warm and it was fresh but their quality of breakfast items has gone way way down . No hot sauce and just not great looking food . There are limited options in Pahrump although at least Saddle West has clean rooms and safe looking food Very sad because I used to really like this place

Stayed here one night on way to Death Valley. Had no reservation, walked in at 7 pm, and was told one room left. Also told for express checkout in morning to simply leave key cards in room and there would be a $25 deposit return within 4-5 business days. We walked into our room to find someone in it. Return to desk to find there was indeed one more room they would move us to. It was a nice clean room. Both key cards were left in room as we left next morning. Now, 14 days later, there has been no deposit return. Call to Best Western main call center who checked with Pahrump hotel, and I was told first there was some kind of misunderstanding and that deposit would be in 35 business days , then I was told deposit had been returned and that I should take it up with my bank. I will never use a Best Western again, and would advise everyone to be careful if using this hotel group.

The hotel is older however it's very clean. Mattress was surprisingly really comfortable. The restaurant has excellent food. We ate breakfast every morning at the hotel and ate dinner once. We had pizza and indian food and both were great! The restaurant staff is incredibly friendly!!! I think this hotel has the hardest working and nicest employees in the State of Nevada.

The family decided to visit Death Valley while it wasn't blazing hot, and Pahrump is the closest town with hotels. We chose Best Western because of their brand and weren't disappointed! We arrived late and checked in without issue. The clerk was very quick and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the area very quiet! We were able to get a nice hot breakfast before heading out for a long day of hiking. If we come back to visit again, we'll be staying here.

Friendly helpful staff made for a great experience with them. Front desk had a truly wonderful young women who upgraded us to a spacious room in a quiet area of the hotel. The immense grounds make this hotel feel like a retreat. The room was very clean, the beds comfortable, the drapes actually closed and kept out the light, and the heater was quiet. All of the staff that we came into contact with were very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.

This location is a motel, not a hotel. There are multiple buildings, some are motel style and the one we were at was more like a hotel style (where the room doors are from the inside of the building, not the outdoors). But the pictures show the pool which looks nice and might give a sense of a nicer place than it really is. The room itself was a decent size, but it could use a little TLC. The front desk staff is friendly. The free breakfast was ridiculous, they ran out of milk, so the kids ate dry cereal. They also ran out of bread. There didn't seem to be an effort to run a breakfast buffet (and/or there wasn't the staff to do it). No one greeted us or asked if we needed anything, it was a major lack in service.

We were placed in a smoking room (told that was all that was available). Unfortunately, that turned out not to be the worst of our problem. There was a sewer odor coming from the bathroom. We had to keep the bath door closed all night and it was so bad we could not bathe or wash our hair in the morning. We were told we would near from the manager to mitigate our problems, but got no response.

Great for an overnight between days at Death Valley. Rooms clean, beds comfy, hot tub was nice but jets could be stronger. Lots of food choices nearby. Breakfast buffet was nice, haven't had one since the pandemic started.

Just 14 miles from the range with full sized breakfast and a good coffee. Got the Front Sight Rate! Bring old towels and your cleaning kit. Might need a headlight for pistol cleaning as the room is a bit dark.

This hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient and the staff were pleasant and professional. The hotel is in a decent location for visiting Death Valley. As a bonus, we received free drink coupons frothier very nice bar/lounge. We would definitely stay here again.

My wife & I went to Pahrump, NV, recently & stayed at the Best Western Pahrump Oasis. I must say our room was very clean & quiet. The breakfast every morning was good & the restaurant for dinner was excellent. They had a nice variety of American & Indian food. Our waitress was good at recommending food to our taste. We definitely will be back for a stay in the coming year. We did not take our pet this last time but we will next time. This is a pet friendly establishment.

We stayed here in rooms 140 and 142 for 4 days (10/16 to 10/20/21) while visiting Death Valley. It was our second stay at this hotel. We stayed in the interior room building. Overall, it was a good stay and we would stay here again. The hotel is about 65 miles from DV and hour+ drive. The plusses: Good sized rooms, comfortable beds and furniture toilet and bath decent sized and separate from the sink area there is a fridge with a freezer, microwave and coffee maker Breakfast is very well done (it is in the Pour House restaurant) the room s were clean the internet was fine for email and web surfing they provide a drink coupon good at the Pour house rest. the minuses housekeeping is only upon request and if requested (based on our experience) they may not show up. the front desk is difficult to reach (no one at the front desk or no one answering the phone if you call) Misc. the interior building 's entrances are at each end of the building, there is no middle entrance. to get to the rooms, drive through the Pour House parking lot on the right side of the building and after you get to the end turn left and you will find most of the rooms (near the pool area) the Pour House is a good place for dinner

This hotel is NOT pet friendly they are dog friendly only. My wife and i got a room after driving for 16 hrs only to find out that they are not cat friendly only dog. there was no other hotel available at this point so we were forced to pay a 250$ "cat fee". The desk staff where rude and mumble when explaining the hotel. I had to ask for clarification on what they were saying while checking in and after the 3rd attempt i just stopped bothering. We had stayed at a best western the night before and they accepted cats, dog, snakes and Minihorses.

Clean, quiet stay with our dog while on road trip. Older hotel/motel but no issues at all. green space for dog just outside parking lot. Had a surprising really great Indian food meal at the restaurant (ate on patio). Lovely not to have to drive somewhere else for dinner. Breakfast had lots of options, wonderful staff. Overall great road stop.

Very clean and quiet , breakfast was fantastic and the staff extremely friendly and helpful . The room was very spacious , clean the bed comfortable . I was to tired to enjoy anything else for the drive to get there was to long . My fault on that part .

Great value!! While this hotel is not much to look at from the outside, our room was spacious, updated, and very comfortable. Our room was considered an “interior” room meaning an interior corridor, we liked the exterior security. AC worked great as did the fridge. Breakfast was adequate and pool area is nice as well. Great stay overall.

The hotel is centrally located. Plenty of parking. Staff was helpful, accommodating, and friendly. Best breakfast I've had at a hotel in a long time. Room was clean and well decorated. Quick check-out made it easy.

The layout of the hotel is a bit strange and could use some upkeep on the front and side roadway, but the staff, rooms and property live up to the Best Western name. My wife and I had one of the best hotel breakfasts here, with the food not being the same old, runny eggs, burnt bacon and jerkied sausage.They even had corned beef hash. One warning. They gave us a voucher for a free drink in the attached restaurant/bar, and when we sat down, the bartender ignored us for at least 15 minutes. She was not busy at the time, looked at us at least 5 or 6 times while still keeping her distance, cleaned and moved a few glasses, talked to her friends while having a drink and finally came over when my wife said something. She then pretended to be all nice, in the most plastic way I have ever seen and finally served us. She then ignored us some more but did get the opportunity to sing karaoke while ignoring us again. Needless to say, we refrained from buying any additional drinks and ignored the tip.

Wow, what a horrible location, it's simply smells like mold, the rooms are falling apart, AC makes so much noise you need earplugs. Smell of weed and is overwhelming. Yuck. Wouldn't stay here for free. Really beside the Indian restaurant, I have nothing good to say.

This facility has several buildings with rooms and an RV park! Restaurant, casino, and breakfast room. We loved having real sized pillows instead of the small ones everyone seems to have now. The grounds were very nice.

Our room was very clean, The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a free drink from the bar! ! We asked for an early check in time and they let us check in at 1:00. The checkout process was very simple.

The room that we stayed in was large, with a microwave and a larger than usual refrigerator. It was clean and comfortable. Sound coming through the room that is connected to our room was easily heard, but otherwise it was quiet. The free breakfast goes to (am, but we showed up at 8:30 to no plates, eggs, bacon or employees.

The BW has improved over the years. Larger Rooms, Decent TV, Coffee, refrigerator. Nice and Cozy. Rooms are dimly lit. Bar/ Lounge does have a Small Casino... However; overpriced for that area!! Prices are not constant. Shop online for pricing!!

The staff, front desk and breakfast servers were VERY friendly and helpful, had trouble with the people in the room attached to mine, the staff moved me, (upgraded room) and made sure the people that were very loud and profane were removed... TY

This is a wonderful place to stay whether you're heading toward Death Valley or Las Vegas. The room was neat and tidy. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. We ended up with a handicap room so the shower was spacious, but slippery. I would suggest using the mat or the chair provided if you have a handicap room. The breakfast was delicious with very considerate and attentive staff.

Helping a family in need for the night after a fire and the hotel helped them out. They were wonderful and caring and helped us out. Would recommend them again. Family was ver greatful foe their efforts

I was unwilling to pay the hotel prices at Stovepipe Wells or Furnace Creek for my visit to Death Valley National Park, so I stayed at the Pahrump Oasis for one of the nights knowing it would require a bit more driving back to the park. The hotel worked out quite well. My room was neat and clean with a microwave and mini-fridge. The internet was high speed. Best, though, was the hot breakfast included with the stay, for which I was very thankful. The staff I interacted with were friendly, kind, and helpful.

My Corvette Club drove from AZ to Ron Fellows Performance Driving School and chose this BW because I had stayed there before and knew it was close to the track. I could see my Vette from my room window. The breakfast was good. We were able to sit and visit with our friends. My room was spacious. Firm matress. Excellent staff! Good experience. (Negative: no elevator)

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights a few weeks ago, while attending Front Sight. We were very pleased, and found it to be a great value. The hotel was nice and updated. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. The grounds of the hotel were rather pretty. We felt safe and welcomed. I was impressed with how friendly the staff (both the front desk and the housekeeping staff) were. And the free breakfast was terrific -- it was real food, not the crappy pastries and such that some hotels offer. The breakfast was tasty and kept me full all the way till lunch time at Front Sight. We will definitely stay here again when attending Front Sight, and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone else visiting the Pahrump area. **NOTE: At this time -- I assume just during COVID -- you have to specifically request that your room be cleaned each day, if that's what you desire. I didn't see a need to have our room cleaned daily -- but you can, if you request it.**

Great to stay if you're a gun-toting white male on vacation. Families, women, people of color, foreigners, and business travelers should avoid for comfort and safety reasons. Walls are paper-thin and everyone hears every little sound, including several domestic disagreements, shouting, and even a loud police encounter during my stay. Some clientele are a little scary, with many assertive young and middle-aged white men open-carrying firearms and not adhering to mask mandates. What appeared to be a maintenance worker drove up to a set of rooms with Confederate flag and assault weapon stickers on his truck, which didn't exactly make me feel welcome. Water pressure is weak and mattresses are average. Nice pool area and grounds, and location within Pahrump is convenient to restaurants, laundromat, highways, etc. Overall, an adequate place to stay, but not as dependable, comfortable, or safe as most Best Westerns.

The staff and breakfast keep us coming back. Great value. The rooms are older, but clean and well laid out. Has small fridge and microwave. We especially love the rooms where you can park right outside. Great for loading and unloading luggage and gear.

This Best Western is good. Nice staff. Has a nice pool surrounded by palm trees. Room was adequate for the price. Easy to find location. Great breakfast...lots to eat. Plenty of places to eat and a grocery store nearby. I would stay here again.

Hotel is clean and neat. Front desk staff is friendly and courteous. Rooms are well maintained. This is where I stay when I go to frontsight. Restaurant has good food and very good service. Hotel is right in the middle of town, convenient to all of Pahrump.

Big room, nice hot breakfast. We were happy w our overnight here. Covid protocols in place. The ice machine didn't work but the lady in the restaurant filled our cooler. Also, everyone who works at this motel is very nice. Great service.

This has to be by far the cleanest hotel I've been in beds were very comfortable The rooms were very clean everything about it was good I will definitely be staying again. The staff was very welcoming The best thing about it is in the normal room the big tub that they had in there

King room with full kitchen was not equipped, empty cabinets with a few items. Hot water was so-so. Pull out couch/roll away beds...stay away from them. King bed comfy. Couch and chair so-so. Left early.

Hotel isn't much to look at but the rooms are ample and clean. It's located approximately 50 minute from Death Valley and is centrally located near numerous restaurants. We would come back when in the area. Beds are comfortable and the price for a room with two queen beds was only $75 a night with AAA.

camping reatrictions at death valley national park to comply with california guidelines forced us to drive to nevada pahrump to find a place to spend the night. had to find a place where rooms are not enclosed in a building but instead in a lodge type area. parking was right in front of our suite. room was clean and spacious and smelled fresh. i have mild asthma so cannot tolerate even the smell of cleaning detergents. breakfast was complimentary and served by staff for safety due to covid 19 restrictions. lady at the check in lobby was very pleasant and helpful. first time in parhump and liked it. close to our destination and good alternative to the busy las vegas area. travel to nevada at least every couple of months and will definitely go through this city again and stay at this hotel.

Love this place beds are awesome I get my best nights sleep. The front desk staff are awesome everyone of them they make the stay very pleasant always there to help you or solve any problems if needed. The free breakfast is a nice touch to start your day off. I stay here quite a bit on business and I have found paying the extra to be in a 1 story room is so much better than a shared hall.I would highly recommend them..

I had no problems at all with this hotel. The hotel was clean and we'll stocked. The beds are so comfortable and plenty of pillows to use. The location of the hotel was in a great spot so close to many things.

Had a 5 night stay with the hotel, found the entire grounds well maintained and the rooms clean and well appointed in terms of furnishings and supplies. Front desk staff were very friendly and helped us above and beyond with an extension to our stay. Rooms were well insulated for sound which I needed as our days were mentally and physically trying. Beds were firm and comfortable, I slept well. My friend and I will certainly stay here again during our next visit to Pahrump.

Toured around in Death Valley and had to come to Nevada for accommodation (most places in Death Valley were closed) All standard BW with great care on sanitation from all hotel staff. Room was OK and breakfast was prepared by staff

So, I've stayed at this Hotel once a year for about four years now, This time I noticed a real change. They're doing their best with the Covid restrictions. There was a hot breakfast you could take bake to room, if you ask they'll service the room. However, no more drink coupons for the bar/ restaurant. Which has also changed form a sports bar into more of a lounge/ restaurant, serving Indian food. American food is available when the chef feels like cooking it. Our night only pizza and chicken wings were available and all the Indian foods obviously. After a long day of training in the desert it's been nice to have a restaurant attached to the Hotel unfortunately now we'll be going elsewhere for dinner. And maybe looking at different places closer to food than this place. It's clean, it's quiet beds are comfy.

Big room, close parking, clean. When I booked the room the reservations person asked if we wanted the Extra large room with jacuzzi in room, after a 10 hour drive this sounded like heaven. I was disappointed to find the in room jacuzzi, was actually a bath tub with jets! So for drinks in the jacuzzi with my honey! But everything else was very nice.

Man, this hotel has so much potential. Staff was great, our room was HUGE and clean. The only complaint is the pool. It is not being maintained very well. The gate is actually falling apart and the pool was so dirty I had to spend 20 minutes with the pole and net to get all the debris and dead bugs out so my wife could go in.

We arrived quite late but the staff was so welcoming. They asked us what visits we had planned for the next days and even gave us a few tips. The rooms were perfectly clean and spacious. The breakfast was SO good. We will definitely be back!!

The staff was really friendly. Room very clean. The only thing was too many roaches outside and found one in our bed. called the front desk and they were supposed to give us a discount but they never did.

Poor service from the moment of check-in. Unfriendly and not willing to accommodate or work with our family. The hotel truly felt like a weekly stay motel. Hallway smelled of marijuana, people out loitering all around parking lots, and loud arguments going on in near by rooms and hallways. There is a Holiday Inn just down the road... I would recommend staying there.

Make sure to request your room to be cleaned during your stay, they did not inform us due to covid this has to be requested each day of your stay. Until we complained at the check out. Would have been good to know at check in.

Best Western Pahrump is always the place I stay when having to be at work early or stay late at work and I do not want to drive to Las Vegas. The desk clerks are always helpful and cheerful. They always take the time to make some small talk, which makes a person feel welcome. I never worry about what I will find in the room. It always clean and looking fresh. During these difficult times, I remember to leave a little extra for the cleaning service staff.

To the point, no safety issues. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Front desk staff was awesome! The "bad" my tv didn't work...had my laptop and watched via sling. Wifi was great. Slight grumble. Their hot breakfast buffet was down.(due to virus) the substitute were oranges...just that. Felt there should have been a rate adustment. Hate paying for what you didn't get. Would stay again..just because of the staff!

We really appreciated being able to order our lunches to take for the day.We will definitely stay there next trip. Breakfast buffet really helped also. The beds were a bit on the smaller side, but it worked out ok.

The title say it all. Best place to stay whether on business or a family vacation. Bar,restaurant, slot games, car wash, and out door pool ALL on site!!My money well spent this time and it will be I know everytime I am back this way. Wish more places can be this friendly, clean, comfortable, affordable and convenient!!

The hotel is well placed, Death Valley is about an hour drive. The room is also amazing, clean, and the most important thing the staff is friendly and receptive. They also had a restaurant with a mini bowling ally that our kids loved and bar that we loved connected to the hotel! Amazing food as well! We definitely will be back next year!

Our large group stayed here and it was great that this Best Western had a large bar & lounge. The breakfast was delicious and the staff at this hotel is super friendly. We will definitely be back in the near future!

Front desk was very welcoming and helpful. Large room with comfy beds. Hotel is close to some eating places so you don't have to drive. Breakfast was awesome. A huge selection including chicken fried steak, samosas and biscuits and gravy. Reasonably priced.

Have you ever been to a motel and found it so disgusting that you went to WalMart to buy your own bedding? Well that's what we had to do at Best Western Pahrump. We checked into our room and were immediately hit by the smell of sewage. Not just our room but the entire property. But especially in the rooms. Foul, strong, sewage smell. We had no other options, the better hotel in town was full and there was just no where for us to go. So we went to Walmart and bought all new pillows and sheets. We spent as much time out of the room as possible and eventually went to sleep. We woke up at sunrise and got the hell out of there as fast as possible. It was pure hell. To think we paid $150 for this nightmare. I'm sure this review will never make it as it's becoming pretty clear that these reviews on here are just not real. There are reviews on tripadvisor of 5 stars! Even without the horrific smells, the dirty bedding, and the non functioning TV, there is nothing about this place that could warrant even 3 stars. THE WORST MOTEL IN THE WORLD.

This was a very comfortable and quiet room. The room was a little dated, but clean and roomy. We had a drink and ate at the attached Pour House - very delicious Indian food and very friendly staff with great suggestions.

Easy drive from Death Valley or Las Vegas. In hindsight we should have stopped here on Thursday night instead of continuing on to Death Valley. Lodging is comparable at the Ranch but $$$. Bookend your trip to Death Valley by staying here. Leave early in the morning from Parhump with snacks and bottled water, camp or hike for 2 days and leave the Park in the afternoon and stay the evening here than drive on to next destination.

This hotel is older. The hallways and room had a bad worn out smell. A little air freshener helped greatly. The staff were excellent and the grounds were well kept. The breakfast was very good and the lounge was very nice. They even had a small 4 lane bowling alley in the connected restaurant. Lots of good parking and most rooms off the noisy street. I would stay here again. I did hear lots of noises throughout the night from poorly insulated rooms.

Best Western is very good at delivering a consistent experience. If you like your stay there the first time, it is highly likely that you'll like your 2nd stay as much. Nice staff and most always, nothing to complain about. It makes my choosing of where to go an easy decision.

We had a great stay, they have a great friendly staff. Nice property and beds very comfy. Kid friendly, little bowling area, but still a great evening adult bar and karaoke as well. Have been here quite a few times. Great value for the price and breakfast too!!

Quick stay, we only did an overnighter arriving late, but it was good. Pretty good value, great breakfast, and not a bad location for those wanting to get into Death Valley for the day. The front desk was helpful and friendly.

We spent two days (1/9-1/11/20) here in room 244 while visiting Death Valley. The hotel is very nice. It was clean and had a good staff. We thought the breakfast was very good.Note: Room 244 is a connecting room with 246 Our room looked into the inner courtyard/pool area and was quiet, clean, good sized and comfortable. The shower/toilet area was separate from the sink area which we find helpful. The room had a refrigerator and small freezer as well as a coffee maker. The room appeared to be relatively newly renovated. Like most BW's there is no elevator to the second floor, so if that's an issue book the first floor. Breakfast is in the back of the Pour house Rest. and we thought it was one of the better BW breakfasts we have had. The Pour house is open for lunch and dinner as well and we enjoyed our dinner there. The staff was fine and check in and out went seamlessly. The internet was slow. We did not use the pool or spa. We would stay here again. A couple of tips: 1.If you are visiting in early Jan., you'll find the daytime Temps in Pahrump in the mid 50's and DV in the mid 60's. 2.The entrances to the building were at either end (no middle entrance), so park as close to the end as you can to save some steps. 3.It is about a 1 1/4 hour (one way)drive to Death Valley's Visitor Center. 4. Pahrump has a number of good restaurants, so finding a meal is not a problem. As of January 2020, there is major construction coming out of Las Vegas on Route 160, so plan for the drive to take some extra time.

It is a very nice hotel providing full breakfast, and available bar and dinner facilities. The staff was great, meaning very friendly, and help out with any needs that we brought to their attention. We will go back again when we visit the area.

The hotel is clean and spacious. Four stars because 1. The pool was not heated. 2. The spa was broken. 3. The walls ere too thin and the noise from adjacent room showers would wake us up in the early mornings. Positives 1. Good breakfast. Although they underestimated the crown size between Christmas and new years and weren't able to keep up with the demand. 2. Friendly staff. 3. Great location. 4. Has a good North Indian restaurant within the hotel.

Lots of space for parking large vehicles, hot breakfast included is a nice bonus! I appreciate the quick and efficiency of checking in and out. The entire staff, including housekeeping team take pride in being there to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Thank you!

The hotel is a perfect place to stay if you want to visit Death Valley. It is only ~an hour away. You have nice staff members, spacial room, clean beds, and very GOOD breakfast. The breakfast lady was nice to every guest. The sink is outside bathroom, which allows you to use sink while another family member is using the bath. Only small issue is our room cards didn't open the end entrance of the building but not a big deal. We can use the other entrance.

After spending the day in Death Valley, we had chosen to stay in Pahrump as a break before hitting Vegas. What a lovely hotel. They guy on the reception was brilliant. The room was modern and clean, even had Argon Oil shampoos and conditioners. The breakfast was well worth it, and the staff very friendly. Would recommend to other visitors and would definitely go back. We even went in the hot tub in the evening (pool was far too cold for our liking but I suppose it wouldn't have been heated).

This is an older Hotel/Motel style inn. Rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff at front dest were very helpful. We had a free drink ticket for the "Pour House" restaurant and ordered a pizza for dinner. The Pizza was the best and our server lady was so friendly. Just a great experience.

Large room with bar. Beds rather soft for my liking. TV, 32" too small for the room. Insufficient TV stations, poor picture quality. Ridiculously loud in-wall HVAC. It's nearly winter, so heating is required. However, the unit is a heat pump meaning it labours away producing heat accompanied by rattles. Ruined my sleep. The hotel offers pool, unheated unfortunately, and jacuzzi (hot) For the price, I expect better.

Conveniently located. Well lit parking lots. Rooms are not exceptionally appointed, but they are comfortable clean and cleaned daily! Checkin and checkout are always time consuming events because the computer system is antiquated and in dire need of upgrades. Staff is very cordial and helpful.

Okay value - good location with clean rooms and great restaurant and bar. rooms are a little noisy when they cluster book other back to back to your room. If you need a kitchen suite, check the amenities available before you unpack. some suites look like long term and made available for eating in. Evident for us that these suites have a nice table, kitchen bar, micro wave, little fridge - but NO kitchen ware at all.

Great Motel, we stayed 6 nights, you will not regret staying at Best Western Pahrump Oasis. The free breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. We booked through priceline and got a great price, we will be returning.

We have stayed at this motel on several occasions and have always enjoyed our stay. We had a room which had all the amenities and was very clean and roomy. The bed was wonderful. The breakfast is first class. A great motel with friendly staff.

We stayed 3 nights in order to visit Death Valley Nat'l Park. Average, dated hotel. Layout of the property is kind of weird as you have to drive around a large, unused building in order to get to the rooms in back. Small rooms, tiny bathroom. Poor TV reception. Breakfast buffet pretty good, plus they gave free drink in lounge each night you stayed. Just not nearly as nice as many of the Best Western Plus's we've stayed in.

The staff was great, especially Cheyenne!! The rooms were very good-keep the full size pillows! The lounge was awesome and a pretty loose video pocket machine entertained me! Breakfast was very good as well!

After a 6 hour drive we arrived in Pahrump - it's not a big town by any means so we have no problem finding the Best Western. Walking into the lobby was immediately greeted and check in was fast. The room we have reserved was at the rear of the complex, so we drove around to it. At first sight we were slightly alarmed that we had booked the "Bates Motel" , but opening the door was a totally different experience. On the plus side - there was no room above us, ice machine was directly out side, the rooms inside were lovely, well maintained , everything worked. We booked a room with a kitchen which was useful... the only minor issue was the kitchen was missing a few items like a toaster and some china ware like bigger bowls. Breakfast was offered in another building on site, no matter what time we visited, the hot food was low so selection was limited, Food in the bar area in the evening was excellent - don't know if that was a separate business or not, but served some of the best burgers we have had in a long time, Oh yes - you get a free draft beer per person, per night stay. Overall a surprising nice place and would stay again.

This hotel is one of the best hotels that you can stay at in Pahrump! I've stayed there on many occiasions and it's worth the price that you pay for the room. But, my advice, is to book far in advance, because this hotel fills up fast!

Check-In and Check-Out staff are accommodating and friendly, will to work with clients on their reservations; the staff help make a stay in Pahrump pleasant and positive. Rooms are clean and ample; location is convenient and safe.

We stayed here twice, ten days apart, during our road trip to Death Valley and the Eastern Sierra. We stayed in two different buildings in this large property. Both rooms were spacious and immaculately clean. We ate in the onsite restaurants on both occasions and tried the Indian, Mexican and American (burgers) food. The food and service were excellent. We also enjoyed the extensive breakfast buffet and the fact that there were lots of available tables. The breakfast staff were really nice too. We will definitely stay here again on our way to Death Valley

The reason I stay here is because I attend Front Sight which is not too far down the road. The reason that I RETURN time after time is the Staff that continues to amaze me with their helpfulness and patience. They are all Front Sight friendly and go out of their way to make your stay easy and comfortable. I am sure other places may be a few dollars cheaper but the staff at this Hotel make it work the extra dollar or two.

I booked this hotel because of the good ratings but have to say it is overrated. First, the good - the bathroom was very clean, housekeeping seemed to be working very hard and doing a good job. The neutral - the property is odd, spread out over 4-5 buildings. The bad - various lights did not work, the hall carpet was coming up in places, tv was fuzzing (this could have been due to high winds during my stay), you could hear people talking in neighboring rooms, the room door slammed.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They had given me a room that had an indoor corridor. Due to my handicap i couldnt walk with luggage that far from car to room. I asked for a different room that i could park closer to my room. They gave me a suite. It was awesome. I will return to this Best Western. Also, the restaurant has great food and i like that they serve wine.

Best "Best Western" I've ever stayed at! Great people, onsite restaurant, great hot breakfast and the room was updated and nice. The location was easy to find and near food and grocery stores. We used this as a launching point into Death Valley, starting from the bottom of the valley near by. Beautiful little town!

after a day of riding Death Valley I headed to Pahrump to get a room for the night. after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor I made a reservation on the Best Western App and then went to the front desk.. even though I was hot, sweaty and tired from a day in the desert on the motorcycle, I was greeted with smile and told them I made a reservation.. they looked it up, I asked for a ground level room with all my gear on the bike to haul in.. they gave me a suite! wow! it was awesome! and huge! the suite was nice, quiet, clean.. the bedroom and the bath were both very spacious.. bigger than my first apartment! I inquired about customer laundry and they pointed me to the RV park, but it was a little bit of a walk and I need a cold beer more than clean clothes.. The bar was great.. i ordered food while at the bar, there are usb charging ports at the bar so you can charge your phone.. Breakfast the next day had the the typcial hotel breakfast items but there was fresh fruit and eggs that didnt look they were powder eggs.. it was one of the better breakfasts I had on the road.. if I find myself in Pahrump and need a room I am coming back here!

I stay at this hotel when I attend classes at Front Sight. Great self serve buffet breakfast. There is a bar and restaurant on site and more close by. The hotel also makes lunches you can order for $9 the night before and pick up the next morning to take with you to Front Sight.

I was pleased by the general appearance of the facility, both inside and out.. The rooms was large and comfortable. Personal were friendly and attentive. I appreciated the full breakfast which offered several tasty options.

Stayed here as stopover between Vegas and Death Valley/Yosemite Clean and spacious rooms, toiletries provided Didn't use pool but looked good. Bit of a remote place with most local restaurants shutting at 8/9pm which is a shame. Ate at restaurant on site which was ok but very overpriced and one of the waitresses was a bit OTT! Shame it's so noisy eating with kids playing at a bowling alley. Breakfast was plentiful and nice to be included - could make own waffles! Overall decent hotel but would only use for stopover as area is quiet

Was quite pleased with our stays at several Best Westerns in California and Utah. Pools were always nice and they offered complimentary warm breakfast. Staff was able to provide me gluten free options from the breakfast menu. Front desk gave us a great recommendation for dinner and printed out directions for us - great service.

Made better by stay in town. Blew motor on truck and had to stay locally to have engine rebuilt and repaired. Stress taken away by not having to worry about location or Hotel. Very positive staff and great service all the way around. Lounge was great stress reliever and Bartender in lounge commented on my shirt and the saying on it. Great service, location and hospitality. Will definitely stay here again.

We stay here everytime we visit Pahrump. Nice rooms, nice staff and a great little breakfast in the morning. We couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. Nice quiet hotel with restaurant and bar on grounds. Very good value.

We rented one of the suites and very glad we did. It was very quiet with no one above us walking back and forth. I love popcorn and they so happen to have a popcorn machine in the lobby. Their were plenty of restaurants close by. Didn't use the pool but looked very inviting.

Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Death Valley. Hotel staff was very friendly and informative. Rooms were fine. Beds comfy. GREAT hotel breakfast. Far better than the norm. Pool area was nice with tables and lounge chairs. Very relaxing.

This place was better than expected. Great pool area and a very big (and good) breakfast in the morning. An expected surprise in Pahrump. This is a perfect place to stay for those wanting to go explore Death Valley as we did.

Room was very clean and well decorated. Large selection if breakfast foods included. After traveling through Death Valley and worrying about finding somewhere to stay this hotel appears! $ great value

Clean, updated. Friendly staff. Central to Las Vegas and Death Valley. Laundry can be done right across the street. Great location. I love that you can pull up to the rooms and park your car for easy access. Pool is amazing and so is the hot tub. A little oasis right there in Pahrump!

Utilized points for half the stay. Very disappointed with the operation of the spa. This is the second stay in a row at this location and the spa was not working both times and when reported to the front desk in person got the feeling I was being brushed off.

Pleasant staff both at the front desk and in the bar. Hot breakfast included is a nice touch. Room was spacious ( had one of the jacuzzi rooms) clean and bed was comfortable. The food in the restaurant was good. They just started offering Indian cuisine in addition to their regular menu. The butter chicken was very good, but I would recommend going low on the spice meter as it has some kick to it.

This motel was an excellent value. Great rooms at a reasonable price. Also, if you are a gambler, there are many casinos in Pahrump. I had no idea that this town even existed until we drove through and it seems like a quiet place to get away from the uproar at Las Vegas .

Went to Death Valley and Rhyolite on a trip to Vegas the week of March 15th. Spent the night in Pahrump after Death Valley to use as a springboard to go to Rhyolite the next day and then back to Vegas. The Best Western was "old style" - doors to the outside, two story, no elevators. You know what I am talking about. Staff were more than friendly and though I tried to check in early en route to Death Valley - this was around 1130 - I could not, but it was 1130 and check in is at 3 - I tried. Enjoyed the Valley and returned to check into the hotel. Staff was great. Quick and easy check-in. Layout of the hotel was weird - had to drive around another large building attached to the office (it was a club/bar/breakfast/dining area under a different name) and go behind it to get to the buildings where the rooms were. Never seen that before. Grounds were very well maintained. Room was clean. BUT, with the outside entry way, the guests at hand were noisy. Had a "wide load" lead truck that had an alarm that kept going off. Driver was a young female. Alarm would go off and keep going for anywhere from 1 minute to 3.5 minutes - YES - after the 3rd alarm I timed it - she would shut if off. It would come back on. Finally, after an hour of this she figured out whatever it was that needed fixing and the alarms ceased. Quiet is a GREAT thing. Slept well for the most part save for a couple of late night rousers on our floor. Breakfast the next morning was good - it was in that large building I told you about earlier - the one I had to drive around. Overall the stay was a good one. Would I return next time? I would probably stay at the Holiday Inn a little further down the street just to compare. I am a comparison shopper.

The hotel is super clean and the restaurant is very good. For the price i think is the best option to stay. Also the breakfast is above the average in this kind of hotel. I recommend this hotel to spend one night before you go to the Death Valley

This Best Western, just off the main road in Pahrump is a nice little place to stay for a few days. There is breakfast in the morning, staff 24hrs, an awesome houskeeping team, and a great restaurant/ lounge. Even though it is a lower budget hotel, the AC works great, the rooms are clean, and the service is consistently excellent.

Nice hotel, dog friendly! As Best Western members, received complimentary drink tickets. Ok breakfast [hot and cold offerings]. Clean room, quiet and comfortable. Reasonable rates. Our dog enjoyed the room.

Wonderful complex, great restaurant. Everyone super friendly. Beautiful grounds. Clean inside and out. My granddaughter liked the breakfast buffet, it WAS yummy. Nice bar and sitting area, and outdoor seating outside bar for smokers. Very accomadatong

We have stayed at this motel several times now and have been pleased with the service and cleanliness each time. The breakfast is always good with a nice variety for those who are staying a week like we do.

The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good. Our room this time had springs poking up on the edge, and our A/C rattled all night. We slept with ear plugs. Fair pricing for what it is. Discount for Frontsight members.

The staff was awesome and they even got me a ground floor room which was so helpful with my heavy loads and age! They even made lunches for us each day! How convenient! My room was perfect each day and breakfast was served early for our classes!

The room wa shuge and clean, the recption was perfect for the servciiethey provide, but the staff is so friendly and present. if you have a quesiton , they have the answer and the services are just right. The breakfast is a pleasure, real sausage and steak....MIAM! MIAM!

I stay at Best Western Pahrump when I have to be at work very early. Check in staff are very kind and quick on getting me checked in. Express checkout is a must when I have to check out in the middle of the night.

After staying in a very expensive basic motel in kernville this was just great. Reasonably priced, pool, breakfast, nice room, friendly staff, restaurant and bar...loads of restaurant choices nearby! Not a five-star hotel but exceeded our expectations.

Large, clean, comfortable room. Beautiful grounds. Parking right outside the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent and extensive breakfast buffet that changes each day. Lorena, who attends to the breakfast buffet, was fantastic! This is one of the best Best Western hotels I've stayed at.

I had stayed at this facility several times in the past, mostly because there are not many choices. I figured that this would be just one more ho-hum time like the past, but I was wrong. The grounds look to be newly redone. Fresh concrete walkways, palm trees, flowers, and it all seems to be kept up very nicely. I was also surprised by a nice upgrade which gave me a wet bar, separate bedroom, and large living area. I was almost sad to leave the next morning. I probably would have stayed another day, except I already had non-refundable accommodations down the road for the next night. The breakfast was excellent, which is in their attached restaurant.

Great sports bar with delicious food selections. Large rooms that you can just walk to after your beers. Front desk with Cheyenne was very pleasant.. Easy checkout and a great hot breakfast with tasty choices

Room 120 was a single story room on the side of the main building and a very large clean room. Morning breakfast started at 5:30am and was very good. Restaurant and bar were nice for evening meals. My room was great but friends who stayed at another room and 2 story building complained about being to small and older. My room again was Great and Large.

When visit Puhrump then you realise this hotel ( to me Motel) is a jewel in the Desert ! For us was a stopover between Vegas and the Deat Valley and was perfect . Rooms are good ,and to me Motels are easy as no lift and no long corridors , except the stairs might not be good to some. The only thing I did not like was the small bathrooms but on the plus side beds and room very nice. Plenty good stuff to say about this Best Western : on arrival my wife shouted the Kids into the reception to help themselves to some freshly made Popcorn you can imagine how much Kids loved that . The hotel ground is nice and spread well and the excellent part was the Dining and Bar Resaurant As is large and lovely design and fantastically equipped . This matched by the Fantastic breakfast for choice and variety and plentifully topped up. We left the hotel to the next destination with smiles on our faces! .

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, excellent high speed internet, excellent hot breakfast, friendly staff, easy access. They offer a Front Sight discount too. The breakfast was amazing - eggs, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, country fried steak, waffles (with strawberries and whipped cream), pancakes, toast, cereal, etc. all hot and replenished as needed.Lorena keeps the breakfast area spotless and welcoming! Stayed for 5 days - got sick, needed to stream Netflix for days with no interruption for buffering! Beds are very comfortable - slept good every night, which rarely happens for me at a hotel. Highly recommend this hotel!!!! Front office staff very supportive and welcoming. Cleaning crew were amazingly kind and helpful.

This hotel isn't amazing but it's one of the few decent ones in Pahrump. This is a motel but the rooms are fairly up to date and are very spacious. The breakfast buffet included was excellent with a great variety of food.

We have spent two separate nights at the Best Western Pahrump Oasis while visiting family in Pahrump. This is not my favorite Best Western but there are not a lot of choices in Pahrump if you are traveling with a dog so we were happy to find it. The hotel is nice and the Customer Service is very good. There are two sections to this hotel; one (I am assuming the newest section) has interior entry. The other section has outside entry and you park in front of your room; this is the section you stay in if you are traveling with a pet. The first visit we had a handicapped, queen room with a roll-in shower because we booked unexpectedly on a Friday night and that was the only pet friendly room left. It was very small and not laid out very convenient but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The second time we had two queens which was better. I'm sure that the rooms in the interior section are probably larger. There is a nice pet area. The breakfast is great; they have everything you could possibly want and then some. This hotel is not my favorite place to stay because I don't like the outside entry but there really is nothing wrong with it at all and I do recommend it when in the area. As a side note, for such a small town the rooms sell out especially on a weekend.

Had a wonderful stay and the staff was great! The free breakfast is definitely a highlight of the hotel! The only issue we had during our stay was getting a maintenance person to respond and repair our security door lock and change out dirty and foul smelling HVAC air filter in our room. If these two minor items could have been taken care of, I would give an excellent rating...

We stayed for four nights and had a great experience the room was clean. The spa didn't work, the bar and restaurant was really good. It was easy to check in and out. We would most likely stay at Best Western again.

I am not overly fond of Nevada, but my stay at this hotel was pleasant. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. The free breakfast is also quite extensive--there were more than enough selections to choose from. (Which was good, since I needed to "fuel up" before a long day at Death Valley.)

Staff were very nice,room was clean and neat. Breakfast was good. Location was very close to Front Sight. Enjoyed my stay at Best Western will stay at this this Best Western again when i go to Front Sight again.

Overall, great experience for the price paid, very good value! The only issue we encountered was the first night, upstairs guest was making a lot of noises for 3 hours from 8pm - 11pm. The front desk manager was not handling the situation well and did not resolve the issue despite I called him 3 times. We were tired and didn't get the rest that we needed. Given this experience, everything else was great including a different night front desk manager on our second night stay. Price includes breakfast. Amenities are well stocked. Place is clean! Fast wifi. Room is equipped with both fridge and microwave. Very convenient, nearby has supermarket and Walmart.

First off, they have a great hot & cold complimentary breakfast. And the staff all around is friendly and helpful. That makes up for any minor inconvenience from the small rooms which are well-traveled. Fridge (& microwave) in the room was a plus. Walls and ceilings seem paper-thin however, so we put the TV on to drown out noise/conversations from neighboring rooms. Plumbing in the bathroom a little sketchy too, but worked enough. If you are stopping to sleep, eat, and be on your way as we were, you could do worse than this place. It got the job done for us.

Was a good place to stay on my way through. The breakfast was pretty good and complimentary. The hot tub wasn't hot so not really a great option on a chilly night. The front desk was very accommodating as I always like top floor rooms and that's what he changed me into. Good man!

With a little driving it's a Great place to stay if you want to explore Death Valley and not actually stay in Death Valley. We spent two nights in Pahrump before we actually stayed in Death Valley. There are three buildings around a nice clean large square out door pool area. You have several choices, Non Smoking, smoking, pet, etc. We ask for a room in the NON Smoking NON pet building. It was clean & comfortable. The on site restaurant, had some of the best delicious chicken wings we have had. Waitress was very helpful and friendly, she was a breathe of fresh air. Would highly recommend.

Although I was not planning on staying here originally on our trip to Death Valley NP, I decided to save a few $$ by staying here, outside the park. Not really knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised with our stay here. The check-in clerk, bless his heart, spent a fair amount of time changing our rooms so that my wife wouldn't have to take the stairs to the second floor (no elevator here). I neglected to request first floor on my reservations this trip and for those hotels who said they had no first floor rooms, her arthritic knee paid the price. The room was very nice, clean and quiet. Wi-fi worked great and we checked out the attached lounge since we were offered free drinks and they had live entertainment that night. That was quite fun, though the gal singer and keyboard accompanist only played one set. Folks danced to the tunes and we saw one couple do a perfect two-step around the bar. The pizza we ordered there was excellent too. The complimentary breakfast the next morning offered the most choices of any hotel we visited during this two-week trip. Loved the spicy breakfast sausage. Almost wonder if they're trying to become a mini-Vegas luring in tourists with their discounts and such. Certainly they're cheaper than Vegas. In addition, they have the free Pahrump Valley Museum down the road which is worth a look and a nearby French bakery, O Happy Bread, that was one of the culinary highlights of our trip. Pahrump was a little out of the way and not easy to get to with the road construction and all, but I was happy I included it on our itinerary.

From check in to check out our stay in Pahrump was perfect. The price of the room was almost shockingly low considering the breakfast and 2 drinks per day included with it. The room was spacious and clean. The entire property was neat, clean and well managed. Any request we made was immediately addressed to our satisfaction. We spent 5 nights while visiting Death Valley and Ash Meadows and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

This city does not have a multitude of options, however, Best Western is conveniently located, rooms were clean and bed was comfortable, and free breakfast is a plus. Staff was friendly and efficient and we would stay again.

Good location, comfy beds, nice property with very welcoming friendly staff. Pretty much everything for a pleasant stay. Didn't get the name of the server at the lounge but she was a treat and made it a fun evening.

It's not the Ritz but a simple, clean, comfortable, functional room for a five night visit to Front Sight. Get an "interior room" for a little extra space to stretch out. Decent cooked breakfast that opens early.

Stayed here for a few nights. Staff were all friendly, room was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was great but the pool was freezing (January) . Nevertheless the kids wanted to go in - we noticed it was dirty so I called reception and they had it cleaned by the next day. The bowling alley was fun and the breakfasts were great.

Another room with 2 double beds instead of queens. I ended up booking 2 rooms for comfort accommodations. Other than that the rooms were clean and the heat and air worked. The lounge was great and we enjoyed the bowling area although it needed some maintenance. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff was very exceptionally friendly. Would stay there again!

We Stayed at the Best Western while we did our Frontsight Gun Course(about 20mins away). I would definitely recommend this Best Western hotel. The location was great, it was a great price and what it included was fantastic. Not only did we get Breakfast we also go 2 drinks each night and they were proper sized drinks so 1 each was more than enough. The Restaurant onsite was great but it was busy on Friday and Saturday nights so if you want a quite dinner with not a long wait then I recommend you go somewhere else but every other night it was fantastic. The rooms are kept nice and clean and well stocked. We had 2 queen beds a coffee maker, microwave, fridge and freezer & hair dryer. The breakfast service is great and if you take your travel coffee mug they will fill it with fresh coffee for you to take(nice and handy if you are doing Frontsight)

About $100 per night in the 'high season' of January. This was our launch point for a weekend visiting Ash Meadows and Death Valley National Park. It is exactly what you think a motel would be in a far-flung town in the NV desert. The Pourhouse is the adjacent bar/eatery. We only ate the complimentary hot full-breakfast and it was decent. I really did not expect a lot when booking and neither should you....and you will be satisfied. The room was more than gently used. Towels tattered...but for the most part it was clean...and when visiting Pahrump this is what you should be looking for.

Clean, comfortable place to stay. I am a female who was traveling alone. I felt safe. The staff is exceptionally nice and accommodating. It wasn't overly noisy. The breakfast was terrific. I generally tend to stay in higher end hotels but I was very impressed with this Best Western and it's staff.

We stayed 4 nights in December. When we arrived, the 2 working the front desk (1 in training) were friendly and helpful. We had room 134 (Building D) which was at the back of the property off the main street. The room had a microwave and fridge, updated furnishings, was clean and comfortable but not as many electrical outlets as I would have liked. The sink is separate from the tub/shower which is nice. The hotel is easy to get into and there is plenty of free parking near the rooms. The breakfast is actually very good compared to other Best Westerns. The food offerings were: scrambled eggs (real not powdered), sausage, bacon, potatoes, gravy, chicken fried steak, pancakes and waffles. The only negative things were: water pressure not too good, had to crank the water to almost hot for the hot water, and the heater was so noisy had to turn it off during the night. Otherwise we had a great stay and would definitely return.

For the money, this is my favorite hotel while attending Front Sight courses. The property is kept in great shape. The room is nice. All amenities work well. The bed was a bit hard, but after a day at Front Sight, a boulder would be sleepable. The restaurant at the hotel is fantastic.

One of our favorite stays anywhere! We golf, we travel to Death Valley - only 45 minutes away-, real home cooking at the BW and at the casinos and most relaxing spot any where. Great value, quiet, fun and the weather is generally always fine.

Our room was fine but the air handler was inconsistent and the Frodo made strange noises which made for an uncomfortable evening. Our check in was more than strange. The guy simply had a hard time understanding where we wanted our room to be.

You do not usually find a Best Western with a real restaurant with it. We were there for Front Sight Firearms Training. The rooms and folks were great. The big surprise was the restaurant that did breakfast, but oh my gosh - the burgers, the pizzas, and more. Best food in town. My best hamburger ever. Missing it now.

This isn't a destination hotel with resort amenities or a flashy casino, so if you're looking for that, stay elsewhere. If what you want is a clean room, hot shower, and a good breakfast before visiting Death Valley, you won't do better in Pahrump than the Best Western Pahrump Oasis. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the pool area is small but nice. It's a great value, too!

We stayed here after we drove through Death Valley and were going to Zion. The room was nice, the bed comfy and it was very clean. The restaurant on the premises serves a good pizza! Very good hotel for a one night stay during our roadtrip.

Best value in town. After riding 300 miles it's nice to park the bike and have every we needed right at the motel.Room was clean, shower was hot, pillows and bed comfortable.Bar and restaurant was good.Friendly staff.

Stayed for 2 nights in october. We waited for over 25 min for a staff to return to the reception to check us in when we arrived at 8:56 pm. Although she's friendly, I believe management should make better arrangements. We entered the room and found out she gave us a 2 queen instead of a king. So we called and waited for her to switch us to a king. Then we found out the shower/tub faucet switch wasn't working well. My husband managed to take his bath but not me. We waited for the manager to come and take a look. Then he offered me a key to another room to use the shower. What an experience! Not impressed so far. He said they would come and fix it in the morning, at 9am. But no one showed up. We told the reception to make sure it be fixed while we're out. Returning in the evening, happy to see it had been replaced and the water pressure was excellent! Breakfast was above our expectations. More selections of hot cooked items than the average BW. Friendly staff and the cook did a good job. It was in the restaurant of the hotel. Room is clean but the pillows were too high and firm for me. If there weren't the shower and check in issues, I would give it a 4 star.

After a nice visit to Death Valley we headed for the closest town and found this Best Western. Good place to stop. Friendly staff, good quiet room with a good shower and a good breakfast. If you're in Pahrump give this a try.

Returning FS student/returning Oasis guest. The plumbing is apparently constricted, leading to MULTIPLE guest rooms having issues with sinks/showers not draining efficiently and guests being issued plungers to convince the toilets to flush when needed. Additionally, our room and one other I was told of had various forms of insect life thriving in them (NOT bedbugs). These were minor issues, but the plumbing issues were fairly major. All that aside, the rooms were clean, the staff were great and it's still better than staying at a casino!

Very pleasant stay. Staff was very nice.The restaurant food and service was excellent and reasonably priced. We did not want for anything.We would stay there again and will be returning in the next few months.

Spent 3 days on a business trip in Pahrump. Best Western was just what I needed. Clean rooms and a real hot breakfast! Service was nice. Pool was warn and hot tub temperature was just right. Overall a great place to stay.

Cons: 1. The white bath linens were in shades of gray, ripped and miles well traveled. They were gross and need a brand new refresh. If my personal use at home, they would be tossed. But, white bed sheets were fine. 2. HVAC was not central, we turned it low, but it was out of control extreme cold. Eventually, we turned it off. The other room HVAC was ok. Pros: 1. Hot breakfast exceeded our expectations, kudos to the staff. It's clean. 2. It's cheap and is close to Death Valley NP. We booked 2 rooms, just overnight. We did not complain the grayish bath linens. Sorry guys, I'm done with Value Hotels for a while. This was my last time booking BW. It's disappointing!

We had to stay in Pahrump for 2 nights to deal with family business. We were very pleased with our spacious room and the cleanliness of the whole hotel. I am very picky about the hotels I stay at and this place passed the test with exceptional good rates. The free breakfast buffet was as good as any in the area.

I was upgraded to a great large very nice room. The hotel was laid out in a very nice fashion, with good bar and restaurant attached. A breakfast buffet type was included in the attached restaurant. The problem with my room layout was the AC blew right on the bed, I was either too hot or too cold most of the night. Daytime highs were in mid to high 90's and lows were probably in mid to high 70's so AC was running frequently to keep room at half decent temp.

The rooms are OK, lets be fair but the bathroom could be better. However the pet exercise area is located right next to the pool and we all know what happens when dogs meet each other.... they bark. I spent what I hoped would be a relaxing afternoon by the pool listening to dogs barking. First one, then another, then three, then two and so on. I don't dislike dogs as such but an hotel shouldn't allow pet owners to ruin the stay of other guests. And it just doesn't feel hygienic either. So thanks Best Western for wasting a decent amount of my money and wasting me a day of my holiday.

Lets start with great accommodating staff, friendly and helpful. Appears as a older hotel that could stand some upgrades, but very clean, large room with everything necessary and a very comfortable bed. Great breakfast with lots and lots of items, great selection. The one drawback, the hotel has a bar, restaurant and smoking is permitted. I had dinner there, service was good, food was good but people smoke in the food service area and I will dine elsewhere if I am ever back in Pahrump.

Arrived 4ish to a busy front desk, which was handled fairly quickly. Unfortunately the key card had a problem the entire weekend and I had to keep returning to get the card reactivated. The pics for the suite were a little misleading, as they showed a full sized fridge and instead there was a dorm fridge in a cabinet. As far as the facilities, this place was hands down amazing for the town it is in.

This Best Western is really nice and the people are friendly and helpful. It is close to Walmart and lots of eating places , The Breakfast is outstanding, we have stayed here before and love it. The rooms are nice, clean and quiet.

This is by far the nicest motel we've stayed at, ever. Easy access, right on highway 160, with easy check in - check out. Parking was great, the room was spotless, the bed was wonderful, and the handicap accessibility very much appreciated. The walk-in/roll-in shower with two shower heads and a wand was so appreciated, and the only down-side at all was that there was no shelves for soap or shampoo, and when the wife dropped these things (several times), she had to call for me to retrieve them for her (LOL). Free breakfast was far-above average, and the staff was very helpful. The place has a bar and some gambling screens if that would make any difference to any of you. We'll definitely stay here again.

After traveling over 9 hours in the heat of the Summer, we opted for a stay in quiet Pahrump, before moving on to the bustling Las Vegas strip for the business portion of our trip. We were delighted to find this relaxing getaway at such an affordable price! It had everything we needed, including a beautiful swimming pool and garden area, but the best part was the complimentary breakfast! We awoke ravenous, just to find hot waffles, bacon, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, coffee and juice awaiting! Feeling refreshed, we were able to drive a short distance to Vegas and conduct our business with renewed energy!

very nice property. would appreciate a breakfast that is not microwaved. Room was very clean and quiet. Pet area left a little to be desired, but all in all wasn't too bad. We liked that is was convenient to the areas we wanted to visit.

My daughter and I were making what should have been an uneventful trip to pick up a couple of rescue puppies from a friend of hers while camping with family in the Sierra Nevada mountains. Unfortunately, fate stepped in and we had a flat tire and no key for the locking lug nuts. This delayed us to the point that we now needed a place to stay overnight and to meet up to get the puppies who were coming up from Arizona. The Best Western is dog friendly and worked with us to let her friend stay in the room and keep the puppies out of the heat until we could get there. The room was very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was very good with a nice variety of food to choose from. The Pour House which is part of the hotel complex serves outstanding hamburgers and the lady on duty was pleasant to deal with. After 2 1/2 hours in the 100+ degree Nevada desert heat the Oasis part of their name seemed quite appropriate. Customer service is not dead here!

Stayed for two nights. The room was clean and air conditioning worked well. Buffet breakfast included and was very good. Lots of choices including hot items like sausages eggs waffles. The breakfast room staff was very efficient and friendly. The pool area and garden was nice.

They have some nice upgrades in the rooms but a weird layout. We had a king room and it was big. The small size TV was mounted to the wall way across the room from the bed and it hard to see. The remote was not working. First motel we've stayed in that had a walk in closet. The shower/toilet room was small - there was no way you could be sitting and open/close the door. You had to squeeze in around the toilet to close the door. The staff at check in was abrupt and checked us in quickly but not particularly friendly. Check out was friendlier. They are attached to a restaurant/bar that had recently changed names and was remodeled. The bar was ok, not all the Keno machines were working. It was karaoke night and the bar tenders were singing. Breakfast was in the restaurant. Nice selection, very personable staff.

Value for money - more than excellent price. Recommended for a stay or transit to Pahrump. Staff very kind, friendly and helpful. Room clean and with everything you need available. Buffet breakfast more than decent and good choice. Several entertainments available. The pool is not very large, but well maintained.

Anytime my family comes for a week long visit they stay here. The rooms are so clean, smoke-free and the grounds are just beautiful. Staff is happy and willing to help the guests in anyway. Breakfast is free, all homemade and just delicious. The kitchen gets 10 stars in my opinion. The staff is very accommodating for those of us who come during breakfast to visit our family staying here over coffee. They get our business every time. LOVE IT!!

The rooms look like a run down motel, and not a 2.5 star hotel, the room a handicap one at that, was clean but run down. The television was not in from of our queen bed, but to the right! My neck still hurts!! The ac was strong and worked well, but was very loud. Bathroom was very basic, and looked rather old, nothing upscale about this motel, sorry i meant hotel.

Stopped at a Pahrump after a long day traveling from Sequoia through the Mojave and Death Valley deserts on our way to Las Vegas. This hotel has a restaurant on site with a great menu and perfect after an 11 hour day of driving. The restaurant is also open for free breakfast and one of the better Best Western offerings.

The rooms were large and comfortable. And the complimentary breakfast buffet was extensive! The employees were helpful and quickly cleared the tables for other patrons wanting to enjoy the buffet. Not only were there hashed browns to go with their eggs and sausage, but a stainless steel offering of chicken fried steak with gravy! We learned that the many male partakers were enjoying their breakfast before heading over to their Front Sight firearm classes located on the outskirts of Pahrump! Best Western seems to be a favorite place for them to stay after their classes, as well.

I have been a front sight member for 18 years and I have seen a lot of changes with PAHRUMP The best western is the best deal when it comes to front sight . It's newer and cleaner than saddle west and the staff at the Best Western really care about your experience . They have many different types and sizes of rooms . They offer a front sight discount . They also provide a great hot breakfast This is the place to stay !

We stayed one night after spending a few nights at a local driving school. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The best part of the stay was Nikki in the breakfast room. She was so friendly and made sure you had everything you needed. It is so nice to wake up to a friendly smiling face. Great Job Nikki!

The grounds at the hotel were absolutely beautiful and very well kept. Our room was very large and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a nice selection. We loved the bar/restaurant in the premises. We ate there several times as the food was delicious and the menu was great. They even had music several nights. A very enjoyable place to stay.

This is a clean and comfortable hotel, just nothing special. Breakfast was fair with scrambled eggs and link sausage. Biscuits and gravy were the usual hotel offerings. Bathroom and dressing table are separated.

Nicely presented, clean, comfortable facilities, loved the bar and the restaurant food, staff and services was great. Great breakfast and the staff in the breakfast room were absolutely lovely, and very kind to my travelmate that had a broken ankle. A very cute little bowling alley, which was unfortunately closed in the morning, I would have loved to have a go. A bit chilly for a swim in the pool, but was impressed with area and especially the accessibility lifts for those not so able but still want a dip. The only negative is the room aircon was a bit too noisy. This hotel really is an oasis. We found that Pahrump (in general) to be a horrible town to visit, mostly due to experiences with hostile and unsmiling people in the supermarket and service stations, and looked to me like a lot of drug usage in the community. I never plan to stay over in this town again, but would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone unfortunate enough to do so.

We were a little skeptical when we arrived because the majority of the rooms had outside doors (in motel style). The restaurant was wonderful, the room was spacious. Everything was clean and worked well. Our kids had time to enjoy the pool. We are dinner at the restaurant and the kids did some bowling while we ate. The only negatives were that our toilet ran the while time (it was running when we entered the room till we left), and the screen on our room window was broken. We really enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again.

I'd never been to Pahrump, NV before and wasn't sure what to expect RE: food, lodging, etc. I chose the Best Western Pahrump Oasis by chance. It turned out to be a great choice. The property was very clean, everything in my room functioned properly, and the staff was very professional and helpful. It turned out to be a very pleasant experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Best Western to anyone.

We made the stop in Pahrump,Nv. for the night , tired and had a long day and next day would be long also. The Best Western was easily found and had a room for us. There was a lounge and restaurant also , we had a cocktail and relaxed , used the hot tub and had a good nights sleep.

Older hotel, with large sleeping area. Bathroom is small with vanity is outside and good counter space. Room has small microwave and refrig. Breakfast is great. Stayed at a lot of places that advertise

My family remarked how much bigger the kitchen was compared to our home's. The layout was nice and spacious. The picture of the king suite actually looks smaller than it actually was. The breakfast was killer. They had sausage gravy which is really essential for travelling. The hotel is also a perfect place from which to look at the stars at night. Just drive for 15 minutes on your way to Death Valley and find a safe place to park, usually on a long straight stretch of road with plenty of night sky. It was one of the best things we did on our trip to Death Valley. The only issues we had were with the plumbing and thin walls. Let's just say that if you make any bodily noises it will be heard and you will hear them from the next room.

Hard to find in that the huge sign out front talks about signing up for something and the sign Best Western are small in comparison. Room was large and roomy, updates lights and nice bed. Bathroom needs updating and attention to needed repairs are most important. Our room had a door that looked like someone had tried to pound their way in earlier. It was pushed in and the door jamb split and screwed together. We were disappointed in the dining as it was in a smoking allowed bar that had loud entertainment. The only choice to sit was in a small noisy bowling alley. Food was so so..we had pasta dished. Service was good there. We felt desk service could care less if we were there or not. I probably would not go back.

The rooms are nice. But we had an unusual experience. My husband had a heart attack around midnight and it was all I could do to contact the front desk while giving him chest compressions. The night clerk called the ambulance for us and came to the room to let me know they were on the way and helped direct the EMT's to the room. Her care and compassion in the emergency situation were exemplary. She did this quickly. Without her help the outcome of this emergency could have been quite different....due to other complications we ended up spending 2 months in 3 different hospitals...all is well now. If you are going to Front Sight, check for a discount.

Since this hotels pricing is similar to The Holiday Inn down road a bit, I feel the need to compare both together because the few differences were significant if one were to be able to have the choice of either for the same rate. If this is the case, choose to stay at the Holiday Inn where the breakfast is much fresher and where the facilities are newer and fresher inside and outside. Are breakfast at the Best Western consisted of firm rubbery slightly warm eggs. A cinnamon roll that was extremely firm and not hot. Cold tough hash browns. Average sausages. At the Holiday Inn the eggs and sausages were cooked nicely every time and were hot, they also have beautiful soft cinnamon rolls that taste homemade. The pancake and waffle maker were both broken at the Best Western. If memory serves me correctly Holiday Inn had fresh waffles and pancakes that you make on your own as well. I felt that if they're going to offer breakfast it at least should be hot and tasty, even if it's just basic breakfast items. The rooms at either are fairly similar. With the exception of the bathrooms having more counter space at the HI. BW always has limited bathroom counter space in my opinion.

This is a great hotel for people who are attending Front Sight in Pahrump. The rooms are average, but the breakfast is amazing and since most of the days are away from the hotel, it is not a big deal. However, the swimming pool is lacking in quality and the hot tub at the pool has not been

I would strongly recommend this location! I asked for a pet-free room, and was delighted to find a very clean room with no pet odor or stains. The breakfast was served in the attached restaurant and included a great selection of hot or cold foods. A very quiet RV Park nearby and within walking distance of fast-food restaurants, small casinos, and grocery store.

Good place to stay if you are going to Death Valley. I was glad to find a vacancy close to the Park because spring break had many hotels full. Breakfast was plentiful, clean and ready for a large number of patrons.

Nice, very large room with kitchen, and separate living room. Nice bathroom, nice bed, plenty of room. Tv was ok, but only digital, not HD and the channels are difficult to figure out. May have been HD, but it wasn't set up that way, which is a bummer. I do like to chill watching some tv. Great employees (probably because not Kalifornia). They have an in house restaurant and bar and bowling alley! Include free breakfast, not bad for free. We did have dinner there one night, and pretty decent. Good hamburgers, ok pizza, good for kids probably. Good value for the money. Did not use the pool or hot tub, but my wife said it was dirty as it was very windy while we were there. Although Holiday Inn's was clean a week later on revisit. Good Value for the money. P.S. I have allergy probs, and my sinuses were killing me at BW, but not HolidayInn. Not sure if because one week later or just because older hotel.

This property is in one of the closest small towns to the entrance to Death Valley NP. The hotel is easily accessible from the roadway and very pleasing with the palm trees lining the street. Renovations were going on at the time, but the only negative was that the breakfast area was a little hard to get to. Room was spacious and clean.

Hotel and service were great. Large well stocked breakfast area. The hotel is near the center of town and convenient to the area. There is some construction in the lounge area, but nice overall. I am looking forward to staying down the street at the Holiday Inn Express next time I am in town.

The staff was instantly responsive to problems (of which there were two minor ones). They also helped me find a dog walker! Turns out it was a member of the staff and she was a life saver. It made our dog very, very happy! We just paid her extra...so worth it!

The hotel was great worked with me on checking in because I was driving 17 hours to get there. Once they're all staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very quiet and the breakfast was delicious! The two ladies working in the breakfast area did an exceptional job. What you guys provided was what anyone would need to start the day off right.

First the positives. Staff was exceptionally nice and considerate, especially the breakfast staff. The housekeeping staff also excellent, my room was clean when I arrived, and the daily housekeeping was also better then par. The breakfast food was also varied and very good with lots of selections. Now the bad news. First, this is much less a hotel and more of a motel. Buildings are separate and are two stories but have no elevators. Something to think about if you have difficulty maneuvering stairs. The plumbing in my building (Building C) was so loud that when guests on either side of you took a shower, it sounded as if a train was coming to visit. One could also hear the neighbors TV's and most conversation. Running children or perhaps Irish dancers above my head were also an unwelcome annoyance. To get to the breakfast room one passes through the sports bar which is under construction. You can also enter from the outside but first time around there is no signage to direct you. I am a Best Western rewards member and had booked the hotel directly on the Best Western website. My friends who were also staying at the hotel are not reward members, however their room in Building D was much bigger than mine, even though both rooms had King Beds. They had also asked for a room on the first floor as one of them uses a cane (remember no elevator) but they were assigned a second floor room. I stay at Best Westerns routinely but in hind site might try the Holiday Inn express down the street.

Stayed here previously on my visits to Front Sight. The room was clean and quiet. The free breakfast started at 5:30 am leaving lots of time to get to the training facility. The free- WiFi worked great, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and heater A/C worked well. When making reservations be sure to get the significant Front Sight discount rate.

Popular, seemed full both times I stayed here recently. Good location, set back from the street so it is quiet. Rooms are nice, clean and well kept. Staff is very helpful, and kind. One night there was a very noisy family above me, and the front desk moved me to another room with no added charge, I so very much appreciated that.

Stay here at your own risk. It took me 45 minutes to check in my small group. No keys wre ready even though I had given then an exact time of arrival, 615pm and did this 4 hours prior to arriving. I am in building C room 227. For two days I have been trying to get my toilet fixed last night due to getting back very late I did not chane room. Toilet still did not work.. HOWEVER also never stay in building C as it is so poorly built my floor creeks, you can hear the people taking showers from it seems like, several rooms away. The bathroom fan in one room is so loud it seems to vibrate the building. Placed a wake up call for the first morning and never got it. Next day placed another wakeup call and got it 1 Hour early!! Third day never got my scheduled wake up call. All least they were consistsnt going 3 for 3 in missed wake up calls The self making pancake machine has been out of order all 3 mornings, and this is at a sold out hotel during Presidents day weekend. Others in my party have had a better experience but they are in building B, so for myself I would never stay here again. Cannot believe they could rent this room however. Also the bar/resaurant is under a partial renovation but it seems to have stalled, does not give the place an inviting look.

We stayed in the hotel for four nights. The room was very spaceous, clean and had microwave and decent size refrigerator which was great. The breakfast started at 5:30 which was perfect and had plenty of choices. We also got some vouchers for complimentary drinks. I would love to stay there again!

I'll give the Best Western Pahrump an overall 4 because my initial problems were addressed and the staff very courteous and accommodating. But it was probably more of a 3.5. I was here to train at front sight and took advantage of the group rate. When i initially checked in. I was assigned a room on the backside which was more of a motel. The room itself was as updated as it could be but the shower maybe a little small. The shower toilet area is a tight fit and I hit my head on the shower curtain rod, granted I'm 6'3" but I can't remember the last time that happened. Also, the water in the tub drained very slowly that I was up to my ankles in water from a quick shower. All in all, not a deal breaker. But as i was attempting to relax in my room, I was presented with a couple of more serious issues. The first of which was the voice guidance on the TV and the channels it was receiving. I could navigate all the channels properly without going through a ton of music channels in tv channels, That was pretty frustrating. Additionally, the voice guidance was set to on on the tv so everything you did from change the channel to change the volume, would prompt the tv to say things like, "volume up" or "channel 10" and the worst part was it was louder than the actual volume of the tv show. Luckily I have remote control capability on my phone so i was able to navigate the tv menu to disable it. The second major issue were the thin walls and noisy neighbors. The walls in this "wing" or section of the hotel are paper thin and it didn't help that between the noisy neighbors and the thin walls was an adjoining door. Ugh. Whatever was going on reminded me of the hotel scene from Scarface. There was a lot of loud Spanish being spoken and sometimes yelled, and there was some sort of intermittent vacuum sound. In addition to all that, there was a lot of traffic in and out of the room and their door was next to mine. After I contacted the front desk, I was quickly accommodated and provided a new room in the other building that wasn't as motel like with the door of the room facing inside an internal hallway vs the motel side where the front doors face directly into the parking lot. The only problem I had with the new room was that the AC wouldn't power on. A quick call to the front desk and a few minutes of waiting on the maintenance man, the AC was up and running. The hassle was having to repack all my luggage and get settled into the new room. Both of which were on the 2nd floor so that was fun. Regarding the breakfast, it was fine. Scrambled eggs, potatoes, misc fruits and breads, a waffle iron, a pancake "machine" and other standard breakfast items was satisfying enough. The end result was pleasant enough and the staff friendly and accommodating.

I stayed here in December 2017 for 1 night. I was traveling from Death Valley to Las Vegas, and this hotel was a good spot in the middle. Pahrump is a good location for exploring Death Valley, as its about an hour and 15 minute drive to the park. I arrived late, and checkin was quick. Parking is free, and when I checked in they presented a voucher for a free drink at the bar next door. The bar was nice and had TV's a a lively crowd. The rooms to the hotel open directly outside, and you're able to park relatively close to your room. I booked a “suite” and was surprised at how large it was. The suites have a separate living room, bed room, kitchen and bath. There is a door to the bedroom, so people can stay in the living room and not disturb the bedroom. I think these rooms would be perfect for a family of 4. The bathroom had a shower/tub combo. The rooms themselves are a bit dated, but everything was in good condition. There wasn't a view from the room. The hotel is 1 story, so your window will look out directly to the surface. I didn't feel unsafe, and the surrounding area was well lit with plenty of road traffic. There is a pool, but it was too cold to use. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and is served upstairs near the bar. They served a traditional continental hot breakfast. They had a little of everything, and something for everyone. Overall, this hotel met all my needs. It was a good value, free parking, safe area, and in a good location. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area.

The room was nice, clean, and comfortable, and staff was OK to good. The included breakfast was pretty decent. There were some maintenance problems in our room which makes me wonder about the facility's maintenance practices in general.

My preferred motel when in Pahrump. Offers Front Sight participant discounts, large, clean rooms, comfortable beds/furnishings, internet access, complimentary "hot" breakfast buffet, attached bar/restaurant with great pizza, burgers, etc. Also, out-door pool and hot tub which is just what one wants after a day on the range.

Clean rooms; ask for a Suite if you can- they are absolutely huge! However, the shower "opens" up to the room and is on a elevated platform, so if you get cold easily, I advise to have a lot of towels on hand to bundle up in, once you exit the shower. Breakfast buffet is the standard: eggs, cereal, make your own waffles, coffee, juice, biscuits, sausage. Staff very helpful and friendly. Nice lounge. Free drink ticket given at check in. We are repeat customers every time we stay in Pahrump which is about once a month. Great location.

Over priced and noisy. Thin walls, loud plumbing and even louder room air conditioner. The television would announce anytime you changed the channel or volume like “CHANNEL 8 HAS BEEN SELECTED“ which you could hear from the next room.

We made a last minute reservation and were pleasantly surprised to get a room for the holiday evening. The room was spacious, updated, and well-furnished. The bed was comfortable and the wing of the hotel was quiet.

The Best Western Pahrump is the closest BW to Death Valley National Park. We had never stayed here before but decided to try it as an alternative to the in-park hotels which are now being remodeled. Pahrump is less than one hour on a good road to the Park's Furnace Creek Headquarters. BW Pahrump is comfortable and has all the amenities you expect from BW. If you are thinking of visiting Death Valley then think about staying here. By the way, gas is a dollar per gallon cheaper in NV than CA!

We stayed in this Hotel when we visited the Death Valley. It's about 30 minutes drive from the sight. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's comfortable and clean, and if you don't want to camp or pay a lot for the hotel in the valley, you can get good value for your money.

I have a project near Pahrump that sometimes requires me to do field work. When I do, I stay at the BW Pahrump Oasis because the facility is in good repair, is easy to access, has a decent restaurant, and the staff is service oriented. They offer more than "canned" breakfast as part of the package. There are real (not powdered) scrambled eggs, either sausage or bacon, biscuits and gravy, the usual carb-loads, and a variety fo drinks. The coffee is good. The food is better than what I usually get at other locations. I like the place and will stay there again when I'm in the area.

I like this place they have nice rooms with comfortable beds and pillows. Lots of room in the rooms not over furnished. There is lots of parking for both large and small vehicles including 18 wheels and motorhomes. They have a nice bar on the property with friendly staff. There is video poker if that is your thing. There is a restaurant with a good selection on the menu. The free breakfast is one of the best offered by most hotels and lot to select from.

The hotel was very clean and the beds were nice and comfortable. The staff was really friendly and gave me a couple of places to go eat at. First time to Puhrump and will be back next year for the race.

We like to stay here when in Pahrump because it's always clean, the staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast is fantastic. We travel to Pahrump a few times a year and could stay at the casino but the smoke and cleanliness are not what we like.

Caring staff, wonderful free breakfast with endless choices, great place for dinner. Very quiet, unlike staying at smokey casinos. Close to shopping and anything you need in town. Will be staying here again soon!

The lady when we checked in was very helpful with our requests. The lady at the breakfast area was also very nice. The rooms were clean, the hot tub area was great. The breakfast area was nice and clean. We jus happened upon that place and loved it.

Nice travelers hotel, very accommodating staff, large, very pleasant, clean grassy area for our dog. But I just can't get over the hospital-like unwelcoming lighting in the restaurant, the smoking, and the lack of variety in the breakfast.

Clean. Getting a little long in the tooth. Great breakfast. Terrific staff. Quiet, away from any street noise. The free beverage every day from the lounge was a good way to get a person into the lounge, but they let me take it to my room where I could do what I wanted and didn't feel trapped in the lounge just to have a good free drink.

Just a nice place to come back to after a long day in Death Valley. Nothing to complain about and the staff was great. The room, bath area and bed were just fine. We will return the Best Western Pahrump Oasis

To be honest, I did not have high expectations for this hotel and I was pleasently surprised! The staff was amazing, the room was nice, clean and comfortable. The manager was exceptional. The breakfast was good and there were lots of options. We only stayed one night and there were many amenities that we did not use so I cannot comment on that.

We came for a Front Sight training and my husband had reserved the room. He made a mistake in the reservations and was signed up for a smoking room. I cannot stay in a smoking room because of allergies. The person at the front desk was amazing and worked it out for us to have a non smoking room without misplacing any of the other guests. They were so kind and accommodating! The rooms are clean and fresh. This is an older property but it was a lovely stay. Thank you to everyone!

Stayed there for five nights from 10/26 to 10/31. Needed accommodations while attending the Front Sight Training Course and this place suited our needs. The rooms are clean and a good size, and there is a continental breakfast that starts at 5:30am to accommodate the early start that a lot of their guests have. The front desk, housekeeping and kitchen crew members do a really wonderful job making their guests feel welcome. The service and the price can't be beat. We will be going back next year and will refer our Front Sight friends to stay there too.

Walls are so thin I could hear snoring from next room, and my hearing isn't real good. My wife heard their conversation at 12:30 AM. The TP and facial tissue are among the lowest quality I've had in a hotel. Could almost use as sandpaper. The free breakfast is mediocre at best Food is cold. Carpets in room was dirty. Most staff was nice, but waitress was kind of dingy in lounge and woman at breakfast wanted to argue about their toaster burning toast when it was set below 3. SW across the street is $25 less. The rooms aren't anything special, but are quieter. The breakfast is much better.

Super friendly staff and clean comfortabe beds make the Best Western in Pahrump a good coice for an overnight stay. Our one suggestion is please serve real dairy products at breakfast. Some of us actually want real cream with our coffee, not a chemical in a plastic container.

The best place to stay in Pahrump. Clean, Quiet Rooms. Plenty of amenities and very friendly and helpful staff. The free breakfast has plenty to offer and does not disappoint. It is much more than a banana, yogurt and a bagel. I stayed at the Best Western Pahrump while attending Front Sight Firearms training. When I checked in they knew of the reason for my stay and asked if I needed anything additional like towels for cleaning my gun. Very accommodating staff.

Arrived right about check in time on a Saturday in October. Check-in went smoothly, although the young lady at the desk wasn't the best communicator. She gave us drink coupons, info for breakfast and keys to our room. I had reserved a king through the Best Western web site. We drove around and went up to our room. Upon opening the door we realized it was a room with 2 queens. I went back to the front desk to let them know a mistake had been made and get the correct room. The same young lady was at the desk. She indicated they were sold out and there was nothing she could do. I gave her my paperwork for the king, she kept looking at the counter. I finally figured out she was looking at a computer monitor. She said there was not record of a change. When I pointed out that I hadn't made a change she said oh well it's the room you are assigned and we are sold out. Since it was early in the day I found it hard to believe everyone with reservations had already checked in. When I asked if there was a manager I could speak to she indicated she was the only one there and could not call anyone. During the course of our conversation I discovered she had a brain injury. This is only pertinent because I have to wonder about leaving her all alone to run the desk on a Saturday when the place was sold out. I finally gave up and we stayed in the 2 queen room. The room itself was clean and everything worked. They did have the softest towels of anywhere we stayed on our 2 week trip. The next morning at checkout I inquired about a rate change since I had a different room. I was told curtly that the rate was the same. When I commented about the lack of empowerment for the afternoon desk clerk I was met with surprise as to why I would expect her to be able to do anything. This lady did say, again, that they were sold out and had some problems with air conditioning in some of the king rooms. She speculated that was why we were reassigned. The bottom line is the customer service was extremely poor. The desk clerk should have been provided with the information about our room change so that she could pass it along at check in. Also, the parking lot was pretty empty all night leading us to believe that several rooms must have been closed or maybe even a section of the motel. Being up front about that would have been helpful. All in all not helpful employees, we don't appreciate our room type being changed without an explanation; however, it was clean and quiet. I can't comment on breakfast, we had decided it was such an odd place we would eat elsewhere. Next time we will stay in Las Vegas and drive over to the winery from there.

Stayed a Saturday night as didn't want to drive through the dessert all night............The party noise's started about midnight and continued through till 3Am this was above our room.................If my night driving was better we would have got up and left, also have found when dealing with some people better to keep quiet the night will pass..............

This location offers very efficient and professional service, with check-in and check-out staff very willing to accommodate traveler needs. It is important that this type of professional service has been offered to our groups each time that we have stayed, and the staff here consistently offer very polite and polished service. Facilities are well-maintained and clean, the location is convenient, and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Overall, this is a very convenient place to stay in Pahrump.

The Best Western in Pahrump has great rooms, a super delicious breakfast buffet, and the nicest people you'll ever deal with. I can't say enough about how much I enjoy this hotel. I've stayed there 3 times in the last 2 years, and each time the experience is very pleasant. Kudos to Management, they get 5 stars from me.

Pahrump is located about 50 miles west of Las Vegas, in the desert, many ghost towns found on the map nearby. We were about half way on our drive to Lake Tahoe and the Best Western was a good choice to stop for the night. The hotel looks to be on the older side but the lobby was nice and may have been updated within last few years I'm guessing. Check-in went smoothly, given drink coupons for the attached sports bar Draft Picks, and BW member points in lieu of snacks. There were three of us in our group and the room with two queens was quite large, with small table and 2 chairs, a desk and big chair, another cushioned chair in a corner, bureau with micro and small fridge with good sized freezer and still plenty of room to walk around!it did look like furnishings and carpet had been renovated in last few years; bathroom sink area a good space, with separate closed off toilet and tub area. The grout around the tub could be redone (did not have mildew just needed a cleaner finish) but other than that everything was very clean. Not wanting to hop in the car for dinner we walked to Draft Picks on site. We were early so not busy at all; food was okay but not great. Complimentary full breakfast was in the next room and consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, instant oatmeal, juices and coffee, yogurt and sliced peaches. We had plenty to get a good start of the day.

We stay here a couple of times a year. Front lobby staff is always very nice and helpful. The woman at breakfast is always nice and cheerful for that early of morning when we are in there. Our rooms are comfortable and clean. We will be staying the next time we are in town.

Have stayed here many times over the years and been very satisfied. The hotel has recently remodeled lobby and working to remodel other areas to improve the atmosphere and style as well as upgraded their breakfast. The sausage were large real sausages with biscuits and gravy and eggs as well as the waffles, as well as changing some menu items daily for variety at breakfast. The staff is friendly and nice the rooms are clean and smoke free. I plan on returning with future visits.

The hotel room had really nice decor and plenty of space. We also liked the pool and Jacuzzi. Breakfast was a bit limited, i also find it disappointed that there was no laundry on the premises, although the front desk person gave us the key to go to another place, which we did not want to drive around. Still, no real complaints. and very nice personnel - very sweet and friendly front desk ladies.

The courtyard is well maintained and great area for pets after a long day of travel. The rooms although dated were clean. The staff were nice and personable. Great breakfast selection and outside patio area for people traveling with pets.

The rooms were clean and spacious, and the amenities were also clean. Good value for the money. Breakfast was good, and the food and staff in the lounge restaurant made going elsewhere to eat unnecessary.

We arrived after a long day in the car ready for rest and relaxation. The front desk clerk was pleasant but her speech pattern was very difficult to understand and the scent of perfume in the lobby was overpowering. The room was well decorated at first glance. It was small in comparison to more modern hotels room, the air conditioning was cycling in and out all night with blast of Arctic air one moment and noisily cutting out the next (sleep was a challenge). The shower and toilet area was a HOOT, it was tiny, no, diminutive and had an overpowering curved shower curtain rack that hung over the toilet. Oh yes the toilet, yes the toilet itself was a double flush if you were lucky, Annoying to say the least. Breakfast a high spot however except for the gaming machines active in an adjacent room. For over two hundred a night it was not a good experience and we are on the road in hotels over 50 nights a year. So, we feel we are honest and experienced critics.

The room was fabulous, clean, huge and had everything you need. Great staff too and the breakfast was really nice, great to have proper plates and knives and forks. Should be a Best Western Plus. I have a lot of experiences with Best Western and thus us one of the best.

I've been coming to this hotel for many years & am very impressed with the remodel! Staff is always pleasant to deal with! The rates are reasonable & the location if perfect. The breakfast is always top notch! Always great to start your day on a full stomach.

A wonderful place to stay! We walked in to Best Western and right away was greeted with a big welcoming smile and service. We were hungry and they recommended El jefe family owned Mexican restaurant and it was a great place! Food was superb, very busy, could have used another wait staff, but overall a great place. Then we needed to mail off some stuff before flying out, the post office was a few blocks away also. Car wash right next door. Everything we needed was very close at hand. Gas prices were also very good! We don't like the busy crowded towns so Pahrump was perfect and we plan on revisiting very soon!

Clean and quiet. No gambling on site which was a plus. Interestingly, I could not find this hotel on my Garmin street finder altho it was right on HWY 160. A/C was loud-Hot water was tentative. Expensive for one night($158).But I was attending a funeral service and had to stay- Reviews at other places in town drove me here.Staff was respectful and welcoming.

We stayed here on the way through to Vegas. It was a good and pleasant stay. The room was clean and large. We had a two bed room, that did show its age a bit. The breakfast was good. They had a pool and spa but we didn't have a chance to use it. Was great value.

we didn't have reservations and got there early. They located a non-smoking room ready on the first floor as we request. We were very pleased with the service. The breakfast was much more than the standard, it had scrambled eggs bacon or sausage, biscuits and gravy and potatoes. Yum

When we arrived, the first room they gave us the AC didn't work. We asked for maintenance and he couldn't get it working, so we were moved to a smaller room for that night. The next day, they moved us to another room, that was to the similar size we had, and we stayed the rest of the day there. That room was nice, plenty of space and unlike the original room, had a garden tub. Relatively quiet and clean as well. Beds might be a tad soft. Nice perk that every room has a fridge. Free breakfast coupons and 1 free drink at the bar as well per night. The breakfast served was good. Scrambled eggs, a meat of the day, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, waffles, etc. Decent selection. Pricing was good for the town, not the most expensive, but not the cheapest either. My only complaint on check out was nothing really was said about our night of inconvenience unpacking, packing, moving, unpacking, packing again, and then moving...3 rooms in less than 24 hours. Overall, a good staff.

Lots of choice for breakfast, very clean rooms and the girls were great! Very dog friendly and the price was good. The air conditioner actually worked. I would stay again. Lots of Europeans for some reason.

Very good place. Pros: Clean, modern and quiet rooms. We stay at the 'D' building and everything looks like new. Nice staff. Good rates. Cons: Death Valley is about 1 hour away but, if you don't mind to drive, this is the place to spend the night.

The room is located right on the main street. We planned to go to Death Valley. We originally wanted to stay at one of the hotels in Las Vegas, but most hotels were very expensive for Saturday check in, so this hotel is a good alternative for us to stay, because it is located 1 hour away from Death Valley. Had pretty good breakfast, very good Wifi and free parking as well.

Hotel is accomodating to travelers with disabilities and were very good and welcoming regarding my guide dog.. the ada room was ok but the tub should have been a walkin...the grounds are well maintained . It was very quiet

It was a clean room, at a good price, with a very comfortable bed. The free breakfast was good! But you should avoid the restaurant like the plague. The food was terrible, the cook should be jailed...

Extremely clean room (checked with a black light), comfortable bed, everything was as good or better than expected, The free breakfast buffet that was included with the room ended a bit earlier than anticipated (9:30 a.m) so we missed it. We'll definitely stay there again.

I got the king suite with full kitchen. You can tell the room has recently been renovated. Gorgeous room and the staff were super polite. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. There are plenty of shops around this hotel. If you like guns and fire works, there's tons of options around you for both. All in all, awesome room.

We are Best Western Rewards members. That being said, they did not welcome us with open arms. Overall, the hotel is good but the front desk staff seem disinterested in providing any help with an early check-in. We arrived around 2:00, check in is at 3:00. First lady said they would call me when the room opened up. At ten minutes till 3:00 I went back and a different lady said room is still not ready, while I watched her check in several people and give them their rooms immediately. Finally got our room around 3:20 and enjoyed everything else about our stay.

Great room size and 2 queen bed layout. Attractive furniture and design. Convenient outlets on the night table lamp :) New and clean with no perfume smells. Quiet and convenient and everything worked correctly. Great price.

Couldn't get accommodation in Death Valley so we chose the BW in Pahrump. It was a good choice. Room was large, 2 beds, clean, bath room with bath tub. Check in and check out was speedy and friendly. We visited the attached restaurant for pizza. The menu is small, the restaurant area is small and multi-purpose. A kids' bowling alley was also attacheed so it was quite noisy. The food was good though. It's not the place to go to if you are looking for peace and quiet. We had a good night's sleep. Unfortunately we had to leave early so we did not partake in the "free" breakfast. The only problem we had was with the refrigerator. It was turned off. (Unplugged, a very unkind thing to do!). The reason was most likely because it's motor had seen better days. I notified the front desk upon departure. I would stay here again when in the area.

Very nice hotel, very clean and looks as if it has had some redecorating in the rooms, nice carpeting, beds. Nice little garden area with a pool and grass that leads to the onsite bar and restaurant. Breakfast was nice and Drafts Bar was a friendly place to have pizza and beer. Friendly staff.

Excellent rooms - spacious, bright and comfortable. The location is located close to shops and restaurants but getting from the lobby to the room is a maze. Front desk was very friendly. The cleaning staff were also exceptionally friendly at this location (thanks for helping me back into my room when my key card didn't work!!!) Breakfast was also exceptional!

We didn't expect much from a Best Western in a small desert town in Nevada, but from the time we entered our spacious room we were impressed. The pool and hot tub were nice, the bar was clean, the staff was nice and helpful and the breakfast had enough variety that we were all happy. I'm going with a five-star rating because it really is above par for inexpensive places, like a Best Western.

Without exception the staff was great!!! Very helpful, polite, kind and friendly. It was very hot outside but the air conditioner worked well but was a little too noisy. Nice pool area and fun game area inside for the kids.

Check in clerk was very friendly and knowledgeable. The nightclub/breakfast room were in the first bldg. Our rooms were in a different bldg. 2nd floor, no elevator. We enjoyed the pool every evening. The hot tub was not hot and not very bubbly. We were given a coupon to be used at the bar for each night we stayed. Also a coupon for the complementary breakfast. I'm a big fan of Best Westerns but this one was a bit disappointing.

Seemed that this was one of the nicest lodgings in Pahrump. Room was spacious and clean. Only issue was the shower didn't work properly which we reported when checking out and received a very caring, positive response. The grounds were very nice with a pool. Like having an adjacent restaurant and bar. After a long day of driving, didn't really want to have to drive further. Restaurant was nothing fancy but adequate. Seemed a bit understaffed and in Nevada, smoking was permitted. Nice buffet breakfast was complimentary and the server there was great! Would stay here again.

Stayed here with the family enroute to Las Vegas. I based my stay here on the reviews. On arrival to reception to check in the first thing that hit me was the smell of sewage. It was really bad and not a good first impression. Rooms are in different out buildings and they were clean and big. We went to the pool and my daughter walked across the grass and slipped on some sort of brown gunk with an awful smell. It was very hard to clean off her clothes and still don't know what it was but it was not pleasant. Breakfast was good but was served in the attached sports bar which is dark and dingy with a smell of stale beer from the night before. Its OK for 1 night.

Generally OK but not great - mostly because of noisy A/C unit giving a poor night's sleep. Also skipped breakfast b/c didn't really want to go to the sports bar next door for it. The room itself was clean and comfortable other than the A/C noise which may not bother others but I need things to be pretty quiet & dark to sleep well.

Easy check in and check-out with friendly staff. Large very clean king size room in newly refurbished block. With tea & coffee facilities, large fridge, writing table and chair, iron and board. Plenty of parking and free WiFi. Onsite sports bar, with choice of bar food or restaurant tabled area. The beer was cold and food hot and the staff attentive. pool table, Dart boards, lots of sports tv's, and bowling alley. Breakfast, not so much, basic self service buffet of yogurts, cereal, toast and pastries. Luke warm eggs and sausages, but supply wasn't being kept up with demand so even at 9am only leftovers and very weak coffee. That being said, I would be happy to stay again, but give breakfast a miss.

There was no warm on the shower control, it was all hot to the left, and all cold to the right, with off in the middle. Maintenance fixed it so that it worked correctly with off all the way to the right, warm in the middle, and hot all the way to the left.

Big room, nice bed. There ends the good part. A renovated room without comfortable seating. One desk chair for two people after a long day of driving doesn't cut it, neither does sitting on the bed. It was obvious where a small couch and chairs should be--near the lone lamp sitting in the corner. When queried whether this room was actually done enough for renting out, the front desk told me, "Standard rooms do not have furniture, not even a desk or chair." What? She allowed as how she would try to find a chair for the room. We never heard from the front desk again. There are not a lot of choices in Pahrump to stay but ai would not stay at the BW again.

Nothing special about this hotel just a place to stay over . Rooms are clean with three floors and no elevator. Staff were friendly and there is a free parking right outside the hotel . Recommend for a one night stop over

Very good value overall. Check in person was excellent and the hotel lobby and grounds were quite nice, as are the newly updated rooms--felt like a new hotel. A nice sports pub room on the property, inclusive of pool table and shuffleboard. Very clean in every respect, except for the small sport room with the bowling lanes--floor looked as though it had not been mopped in weeks. A nice add was the free drink coupon offered. Free breakfast was a nice value add: nice presentation overall, with some decent options (self-serve waffle option was excellent); however, the eggs and potatoes were very dried out. Overall, quite a good value, in a good location to access a trip to Death Valley.

We stayed at the BW Pahrump Oasis while taking a course. The hotel was very clean and in very good condition. Even though you are on a main road the pool and room areas are very quiet and nice. Staff, no matter at the front desk, the restaurant, or the lounge was friendly and helpful. The food was very good that we did not have dinner at any other place during our stay. Would recommend if you are in the Pahrump area.

It was just a stop over en rout to Vegas but wish we had spent more time there. Hotel was of excellent standard as were the staff. Breakfast was realy good with lots of choice, but they did shut it down at 9.30 prompt, another half hour would have been good. All I all we were more than pleased with this hotel.

Excellent staff and the pool area was very much appreciated in the 112 degree heat. Nice place to recharge after being in the desert all day. Very easy location and there was even a farmers market in part of the parking lot on Saturday. Sports Bar next to the hotel was very convenient and food was good.

Very standard motel for higher price. We did not realize that this was a tourist motel. There are lakes around the area and cars hauling boats and such were in the parking lot. The lobby a/c was out and the poor attendant was perspiring .

In the past, our experiences at the Best Western Pahrump have been good. This time we had many disappointments. The jacuzzi was dirty and not heating for our first 4 days (we stayed 12 nights). The door to the pool was broken. The air conditioning in our room could not be controlled, so it was either freezing all the time or hot when we had to turn it off. The door handle to our room was broken, but fixed same day we reported it. The other issues were reported but not fixed during our stay.There was a faint smell of sewage in the motel, usually when they were doing laundry. Bed pillows were very uncomfortable; hard foam. We were offered a different room, but wanted to stay where we could park our motorcycle right outside the door. The motel restaurant has acceptable food, but the bowling alley there is so annoying! It should be moved! On a more positive note, the staff is always very friendly, from the front desk to the restaurant staff to the maid service. Christina, Henry, and all the maids are keepers!!

Great value. Clean room, hot breakfast each morning. Friendly, accommodating staff. Convenient location to (15 miles) Front Sight. Sixth trip to Front Sight that I've stayed here. No complaints. I'll be back again.

Was out for a Frontsight class and really appreciated the warm welcome. The room worked out great for my friend and I. Good size and well-appointed. The morning breakfast meal was a nice way to start the day. All the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Pleasent and satisfing we arrived and 9 p-m and found there were ground floor non-smoker rooms available. Surrondings were pleasant and quiet, until morning when we could hear toilets flushing, room doors closing, and people in the rooms overhead walking back and forth. That wasn't too good. It was just from normal walking, something in the construction of the building we suppose. Otherwise ok. Clean as a whistle. Lots of hot water, but the shower faucet was not in good condition.

The BW is convenient and very nice. Great amenities like pool and Jacuzzi. The bar restaurant was great. We ate there every night and never had a bad experience. The only problem was smoking in the bar, so we ate outside.

I stayed two nights at the Best Western Pahrump Oasis. It was a nice place with a great pool and wonderful breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were nicely kept up and the Draft Pick restaurant was good.

We have been here three times now when visiting the US and it's a little like home from home for us. It's just been revamped with new furniture which is great. We had an accident with the loo overflowing and from when I reported it they could not do enough for us, the cleaning staff and maintenance were amazing. The bar staff were really friendly when we had a couple of drinks unwinding. Would recommend this place for the price.

Clean friendly motel, with diner and lots of slots. It's a route hotel so one night would be enough. Not a great deal to do in the area but pleasant nonetheless. If traveling again, I think I would choose dinner in the bar area. As the Mexican nearby was awful.

This is a great hotel if you have small children. Our kids loved their stay at this hotel. They enjoyed the pool, the bowling alley, and the pizza they ordered at the restaurant. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. Look forward to our next stay.

I had lost the A/C in our home over the weekend, it was 90 degrees inside and I had to get my Service Dogs and the retired elderly ones to a cooler place, plus myself since I have severe asthma. The gal at the desk was SO nice, as was the Manager to let us come to stay the 2 nights til our A/C was repaired. God Bless them

Hotel was beautiful , was nice. landscaping. lots of parking. convientent to stores, banking, and other amendities. rooms were perfect. Security was good, you would really feel safe staying here. Staff very friendly and most important helpful.

Free hot breakfast and restaurant has very good pub food. Excellent burgers, salads and pizza. Teh home cooked chips and oinion rings are excellent. Staff very friendly. Excellent bed quality. Easy parking and roomy property.

This facility is a preferred lodging facility with Front Sight. I was VERY pleased with the cleanliness, comfort and amenities of this motel. Very friendly staff, nice courtyard/pool/hot tub. Good breakfast buffet and a great value with Front Sight affiliation.

Superb hotel, excellent facilities, friendly & helpful staff, a breakfast to die for on proper china plates too!! Fourteen different hotels on this road trip & this one was the best by far. An oasis in the desert......

When we checked in we were told that they needed to run our credit card and pay the first night. I said that they have more than the first night on hold and was told that I would be contacted by the manager. No Call! Upon check-out, I reminded them that they had another $100 on hold for a total of $200. These two amounts did not appear on the statement which is unheard of in the years of travel and staying in hotels. They still don't show on the statement and I am being told that once I pay the full amount I will receive the $200 back! Once I'm given something in writing, I will pay the full amount or the balance. The shower goes from cold to scalding hot! I have a blister on my back from the scalding hot water. Restaurant food and personal are fabulous and the room was spacious and clean! As I said, could have been great!

I needed a room to hang while my wife attended to her Mother. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the breakfast was really good. Great biscuits and gravy. I have always been pleased with Bedt Western motels.

We trust Best Western so reserved here on short notice. It was updated, very clean and the staff very helpful. Parhump is a small town with no downtown core. It is nice to stay at this hotel which is central to casinos and shopping. It has an attached restaraunt, which does the free breakfast but also had great food and bar in the evening. It is good if traveling with kids and pets. The room we had was large and had a microwave and refrigerator. We were happy.

King room in building with interior hallway with locked entry. Very large room, good lighting, good A/C, blackout curtains, fridge & microwave. Didn't watch much TV but it was a nice large flatscreen. Sink and closet separate from tub/toilet room. Both sink and tub rooms were very small but clean and serviceable. Very good water pressure and nice showerhead. Towel service was somewhat skimpy - one bath towel supplied per person - would have been nice to have at least one extra towel supplied without having to ask for it. Bed was comfortable with lightweight linens. Pillows the standard over-fluffy hotel fare. I would stay here again.

The Best Western Pahrump Oasis site in southern Nevada continues to be an excellent choice for our college/student visits to the Death Valley region. Service at Check-In and Check-Out is always professional and polite, with desk staff willing to assist as-needed to make one's stay enjoyable and comfortable. We return to this location because of the staff and their accommodating attitudes.

Wow!! We were shocked when we entered our room! We thought there had been a mistake. I don't ever recall such a large comfortable room. Can't wait to return!!! The Jacuzzi tub was a nice surprise!! Liked the mini kitchen area!

The room was quite lsrge and had a hot tub. Everything worked correctly. The parking was ample and I was able to park in front of my room. There are stores nearby and a casino too. The hotel is close to a couple of gad stations. The breakfast was very good. I especially liked the sausage and waffle maker. The staff was friendly. The overall stay was nice and the price reasonable. I honestly have no complaints and would consider staying there again.

This Best Western is Front Sight friendly and very accommodating. Thank you very much. It made our trip and training days less stressful not having to be concerned about where we were staying and the place itself.

In short, the staff are very friendly/helpful... the property has one of the better maintained grounds surrounding it... and they have improved the breakfast service. The downside is that we found that our suite (one of the largest rooms) had bedbugs upon checking in. We had kept our luggage packed and away from the bedroom area. This event was noted/confirmed by desk staff and the head housekeeper (we also took pictures). Since we needed a place to stay for two nights, we were moved to a completely different room in a separate building... and did a thorough inspection... it was clean. Kudos to the staff for quickly addressing. With that said, we will not be returning to this Best Western property... and will make other arrangements.

The Best Western Oasis does all it can to serve and prepare a comfortable stay, despite an unusual location and restaurant set up. It was;t easy to find the hotel due to a strange signage placement. But the staff and accommodations were good.

Very satisfied with the check in process, the size of the room, the cleanliness of the room, and the breakfast offered (Cyndi, the breakfast "attendant" was very friendly, helpful, and kept everything restocked as needed.) All staff that we interacted with were courteous and helpful.

I was in town for a fire arm training class. I didn't pay full price as there was a discount for students. The hotel was close,clean, and the room was spacious. The staff was very helpful, good looking and playful. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise with everything you could want. This was my first stay at this site and I will have more. Overall it was a pleasurable experience.

Gotta be going to Gunsite or Spring Mountain so this is your motel. Plenty of parking for a trailer and clean rooms. Not fancy but clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included which could use a modest upgrade in food quality, but the price was right.

We have stayed here during our Front Sight Firearms training every year for 4-5 days while completing that training. It is Front Sight friendly but doesn't allow dry practice in the rooms. Above average good breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms and beds, friendly and helpful staff. Provides terry (used wash cloths) rags for gun cleaning.

We have stayed on previous occasions and had a very large spacious room which was perfect for our trip to Frontsight and all our gear for that. This time we were given a tiny handicap room with no space for our items and no tub. We were not told of this change in advance as we would not have stayed there, the room was just way to small and set up very strange. The tv was at the side of the bed rather than at the end where both people could watch it from bed. Very disappointed in the room this time. We have referred many of our friends coming to take Frontsight classes to stay at your hotel as the rooms were so great on our other visits. Paid the same price for the small handicap room as we did for the nice spacious one. Not a good value there.

This is a nice hotel with friendly helpful staff. Bteakfast was very good with a wide range of items, both hot and cold. Real chinaware and cutlery is a nice touch. Room was clean and spacious. I would stay here again or recommend this hotel.

I was here for my integration back to business after a great vacation. Breakfast is fine rooms look new, the internet is awful- 2.9 for download/ .36 upload... we have called everyday and they do tweak it so it is a tad better-

We had a great stay at the Best Western in Pahrump. The staff was very accommodating. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good. Beds were decent. They provide a sack lunch option for people going to Front Sight. And will have it waiting at the front desk early in the morning. Great prices for the rooms. Great stay, we will be back.

This is my 2nd time to stay here. Last time was 2 years ago. Checkin was easy. Breakfast is typical for BW. Rooms are comfortable and clean. I was surprised we had a fridge and an iron. Not surprised we had a hair dryer but all of the other hotels we stayed at in NV did NOT have one. So that was a nice treat. Beds were comfortable. Linens were clean. Bathroom and floor were clean. In all, we are here late and out early. It's an overnight for us. But this place fills up. Make reservations and confirm them. They had e-mailed us and called us to make sure we were coming. And while we were checking in they turned away walk-ins. Not sure what was going on in town, but I will say that it's a great choice for the price, cleanliness comfort and features. We'll be back in a year or two and I won't hesitate to stay here again. Oh -- wifi was also great there both in the room and in the parking lots.

Hotel is a typical Best Western and we arrived on our 5th night touring on bikes. Rooms are spacious with Tea and Coffee making facilities, fridge and microwave. Bedroom has been updated but the bathrooms look original. Good nights sleep, rooms quiet and beds comfortable. Free wifi and there is an outside pool. Helpful staff and walkable to a few local casinos and bars.

From the moment we called to make sure our request were added to the reservation (since the website is the pits since they changed it) Chelsea was wonderful. She also checked us in and placed us in an area of the hotel that met our needs. The area is also very nice for Golf at Mountain Falls and dinner at the Pahrump winery was worth the drive.

Stayed here with my wife and family on our way to Death Valley. We booked the hotel way ahead of time and the staff was super nice as we had packages shipped to this hotel as it was the first of many stops along our vacation journey. The grounds were nice and the bar was entertaining with bowling and many other games. The free breakfast buffet was nice with many options. The problem I had was the room smelled very very musty and also smelled like they had tried to cover up the musty smell with a cleaner of some sort. There really are not any attractions around, but there are a couple dining options close. Our stay was not long, but it served a purpose. Kind staff, good breakfast, room just very musty smelling.

Stop for one night here as it was near death valley check in was quick and friendly welcome, got a room that we could park bike out side when we open door it more like a flat they was a area with 2 settee and TV then a full kitchen area with everything in then a large bedroom with very nice bed then a large bathroom and we paid very little for it They are pool and a bar with very cheap drinks and good food , hot breakfast is in with room rate We wish we could stop longer would highly recommend this hotel to anybody

Room remodeled from 2015 and look great. Septic tank smell throughout property all gone. Excellent front desk and restaurant (including breakfast) staff service still outstanding. Wifi works consistently now. My third stay in three years. New Holiday Inn Express now open down the road, but for twice the price.

This is an excellent motel to stay at if you do not want a smoke-filled casino in the lobby. Good quantity for the breakfast. Nice sports bar/restaurant. Good value. Landscape is very well maintained. Rooms are large and clean. Great water pressure for the shower too! Love this place.

My buddies and I rented rooms for three nights at the Best Western in Pahrump while we took a class at at Front sight. The hotel gave us the Front Sight discount (good savings off of regular price). All of the staff were super friendly. All of the facilities and rooms were clean and comfortable. The water closet-shower room was a bit cramped but clean and it served its purpose well enough. The complementary hot breakfast was pretty good. Eggs, biscuits, gravy, link sausage, waffles, fruit, juice, coffee, mini-muffins, etc, etc. All in all, the BW was a great choice and we will be staying there again!

I booked this hotel mainly because of price and my prior experiences at Best Western. The hotel is conveniently located on 160 and the grounds were nice but the interior is in need of a makeover. The staff were friendly enough but the room barely satisfactory and poorly insulated as you could hear doors closing, faucets being turned on, etc.

Quit place to stay, comfortable modern room and tasty generous breakfast with a lot of choice for any taste. Convenient location, walmart supercenter and gas station are very close. Death Valley 1h drive. Would stay here again. Thanks!

Our stay was very good. The staff was excellent (especailly Rachel who went out of her way to secure us a room during a very busy reace weekend) ; very accomodating, willing to help and very friendly all the time (very early in the morning and late in the evening). The room was sufficient for our needs, clean, comfortable and quiet.

though the ice machines were down the kitchen had no issue of giving us some for our daily needs. Friendly staff and helpful too! The lounge bar was really cool with the bowling alley and pool table. Very good food breakfast or dinner and very affordable prices on drinks! Im definitely coming back here next time were in Pahrump =)

Clean rooms, free awesome breakfast, great free wi-fi and more. Every room has a refrigerator and a microwave and free wi-fi. The breakfast is good too. Not just the typical continental breakfast but complete with eggs, sausage, waffles, and sometimes hash browns or biscuits and gravy. Better than the other hotels in the area. Not fancy rooms but always clean and functional.

I have been coming to FRONT SIGHT for 16 years, and taken about 75 classes at FS and have always stayed at the best western pretty much always had a great experience But it sold 2 months ago I rent one of the large 2 room suites with a full kitchen even though I don't cook there mostly . The full fridge is good to keep your water bottles frozen to take to front SIGHT I have always had a good experience with the Draft picks , the bar and grill attached to the hotel This time was very different I arrived to find that my reservation had somehow dropped from their system and they did not have the room type I reserved and was guaranteed. All the staff I worked with was very nice , seems like there are a lot of issues and problems So i called BW customer service and the new owner called me back , very nice , comped one night and bought dinner The next day I was able to move into the room type I wanted But ....the hot tubs are not working and I believe they have been down for months None of the downstairs ice machines 3 total did not work , nor did the AC in my room and I called twice and never heard back Total bummer So I moved to Saddle West across the street for 59 for a deluxe room with a way better bed , a working hot tub and great AC I will probably give them another try but not for a while

Decent property - better than average hotel breakfast. Plenty of near room parking. Most of property is ground or second floor. Property rooms have been remodeled relatively recently with good beds/bedding. Clean rooms, bathrooms clean. Trailer parking nearby. Non-smoking facility. Seems reasonably safe.

Great place. Looks renovated. Great Continental Breakfast with eggs, sausage, bisquits and gravy, pancakes cereal yogurt etc. Every one will be satisfied. Close to Front Sigh facility about 20 minutes away

We had an issue during checking in evening 10/14/16. Our accomodation manager sent 3rd party authorization form prior to our arrival. Unfortunately, lady on reception said that she is unable to open attached file (pdf), her boss was already away and after three calls receptionist told that she needs to swipe my card as a security till 3rd party payment clarification and swore that my card won't be charged. Next morning at reception I was informed (by other lady) that everything is good and authorization form accepted. Now I got bill from bank for almost $600 as accomodation there. Probably stolen. It's the most unprofessional service I've ever seen.

This is a decent hotel that is getting a little old and could use some upgrading. The chair in by the desk was in bad need of replacement. The restaurant is not great except for the free breakfast.I would come back because of the discount I got but it is nothing special.

Stayed here for one night during a SW road trip. We were very happy with the room - at first. I killed two ants before we went to bed. In the morning, my purse and laptop (on the nightstand) were inundated with ants. I spent the morning before we left making sure I had killed them all. Front desk was sympathetic but unsurprised. We were told we'd get an extra 250 rewards points for our trouble.

Greta place to stay, good food, friendly staff, nice room, fair price. If you're going to Front Sight this is the place. Been there 3 times and each time the quality was consistent. I would recommend to anyone having to stay near Parhump. Also had a nice RV park.

Everything about this stay was really nice except the staff at the desk seemed a little distracted from their jobs and the quality of the free breakfast food seemed a little off. There was a nice selection and it was hot, but perhaps not cooked as fully as I would like or perhaps too much in some cases. The pool looked great, but we didn't try it out.

Stayed here for 1 night on our journey from Williams to Lake Tahoe. Room was adequate and clean. Wifi was terrible. Breakfast area was very unwelcoming and food was not good. Table was being cleared while some of our party were still eating. Overall, OK for a 1 night stop but would hate to stay any longer.

Despite the fact that we had to stay on the 2nd floor we enjoyed our stay. It was difficult to carry our heavy luggage to our room. A lot of free parking slots were available; directly in front of our rooms. The room was large enough; bed, shower,... everything clean. The breakfast room was a little catastrophe. Neither tea nor coffee tasted well and the room did not invite to stay here for a longer time.

Decent hotel. Well situated. Rooms are clean and quiet enough. Wifi was awful. All but one front desk clerk was great. Breakfast was great. Two queen beds. One was good, one was awful (sunk in the middle).

We booked one night and asked the receptionist to reserve us the next night; she said she had done that. When we came down for breakfast next morning after a comfy night we were told we had to check out as they'd sold all their rooms during the night. Not good! The 'free' breakfast was horrid. Everything wrapped in plastic or extruded from a machine, and all so excessively sweet. You'd be much better off not eating any of it. The hotel pool was perfectly adequate - a ray of sunshine in an otherwise very disappointing experience. I guess some people like the plastic anonymity of a chain motel, but we found this Best Western soulless, sad and sour.

We were pleasantly surprised after have stayed at some other BW in the States. Very good hotel with medium sized pool in artificial oasis. Nice and clean rooms, quite modern design. Very comfy beds. All amenities one might need including microwave. Breakfast on the weaker side but it is not hotels property. Plenty of parking space. Internet was good. Excellent place to start or to finish your trip to the Death valley. Would highly reccomend.

Stayed here while attending Front Sight and received the special rate. Rooms clean, quiet, good bed & plenty of pillows. Free breakfast quite a bit above average and a perfect start for our day. Housekeeping staff was great! Restaurant had great food and exceptional Burgers. Hot tub was nice after long days at the range. Plan to stay here again on our next visit.
